Mingyue Gorge combines six ancient and modern routes: the Pre-Qin Plank Road, the Ancient Post Road, the Jialing River Waterway, the Tracker Road, National Highway 108, and the Baoji-Chengdu Railway. This gorge showcases the entire evolution of transportation history from ancient, modern, and contemporary times, earning it the nickname "China's Transportation History Museum." The Mingyue Gorge pre-Qin ancient plank road is the most representative of the national plank road culture.
