A trip to Leshan primarily includes the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei. If you have more time, you can also explore the surrounding ancient towns and forest parks. Because it includes Mount Emei, which boasts numerous attractions, especially the Golden Summit sunrise, a one-day trip is rarely possible. Below are itineraries of varying durations for Emei and Leshan, allowing you to tailor your itinerary to suit your needs.
D1: Lingyun Temple → Leshan Giant Buddha → Mahaoyan Tomb → Wuyou Temple → Cruise
Take the bus to the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, walk to the top of the mountain to visit Lingyun Temple and Lingbao Pagoda, walk down the Nine-Curve Plank Road to the foot of the Giant Buddha, walk to visit the Mahaoyan Tomb, and then walk or take a bus to visit Wuyou Temple. From Wuyou Temple, take a bus to Leshan Port, board a cruise ship to view the Giant Buddha from afar, and visit Leshan's snack street in the evening.
There are several ancient towns around Leshan. They are sparsely visited, with well-preserved ancient buildings and an ancient charm that is worth visiting.

D2: Get up early to visit Alsophila spinulosa canyon, then drive to Luocheng Ancient Town, visit the boat-shaped street, have a cup of tea in a local teahouse, eat some local food, and return to Leshan by car before dinner.
March, when the rape blossoms are in bloom, is the best season to take the Jiayang train. If you come to Leshan at this time, you must take a ride. At the midpoint, you can go down to the mine to explore the mine, and then go to Tongxing Alsophila Lake to see the Meili Lake hidden deep in the canyon.

D2: Get up early to visit Alsophila spinulosa canyon, then take a bus to Luocheng Ancient Town, visit the boat-shaped street, stroll in the alleys of Luocheng, visit some ancient wine-making workshops, and stay in Luocheng Town at night.
D3: In the morning, drive to Jianwei County and take the Jiayang train. Upon arrival, you can visit the local mine museum and go down into the mine for an exploration tour. After coming up from the mine, take a tourist bus to Tongxing Alsophila Lake. After the lake tour, take a bus back to Leshan.
D1: Leshan City → Emeishan City → Baoguo Temple → Fuhu Temple → Leidongping → Jieying Hall → Golden Summit D2: Sunrise at Golden Summit → Jieying Hall → Leidongping → Wannian Temple → Qingyin Pavilion → Passenger Transport Center → Leshan
D1: Take a bus from Leshan to Emeishan Central Station, take the city bus to Baoguo Temple, then take the bus to Fuhu Temple, then take the scenic sightseeing line to Leidongping. After a brief tour, walk about half an hour to Jieying Hall and take the cable car to Jinding. Stay overnight at Jinding.
D2: Get up early to watch the sunrise at Jinding, then walk down the mountain to visit Jieying Hall, then walk to Leidongping to take a bus to Wannian Temple, continue down the mountain to visit Bailong Cave and Qingyin Pavilion, and finally arrive at Wuxiangang, take a bus back to Baoguo Temple, and take a bus to Emeishan Passenger Transport Center to return to Leshan.
