Lijiang was once a transit station on the Silk Road and the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Lijiang is suitable for tourism all year round. You can see different scenery when you go to Lijiang in different months. However, during the May Day and National Day holidays, many people go to Lijiang, and the accommodation prices will rise. People who have the conditions can avoid this period. In February, you can go to the farmland near Lashi Lake to see rape flowers, visit the First Bay of the Yangtze River and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain; April is the most beautiful time for Lijiang Old Town and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain; in May, you can see the flowers blooming and falling in the mountains and fields of Lijiang; June to August is the rainy season, and you can see the scenery of Lijiang in the rain. In September and October, you can go to the fields of Lijiang to see the harvest scenery.
The ultraviolet rays in Lijiang are strong, so anti-ultraviolet sunglasses and sunscreen are essential.
