So much fun!!

By Holly O |

Our family had the best time playing putt putt and then riding the go carts!!
We also like hanging out in the arcade area while the rest of our group when to play laser tag.

Fun place for kids/teens

By Vacation526029 |

Adventure Island is a place kids and teens enjoy! The Arcade uses quarters, not tokens, big bonus there! The arcade has many games, about 7-10% of them are down for repairs. I probably had another $5 taken by machines unfairly as they don’t work properly. The establishment is clearly suffering hiring staff as many are right now because there isn’t really employees walking around to notify timely, so unfortunately my money was just gone. The miniature golf is very, very nice and well cared for. The restrooms and arcade area should be a bit cleaner, again, likely a staffing issue. We would visit again.

fun place!

By Micki H |

Fun place for a family. Played games, mini golf and raced go carts! Staff was friendly and my son loved all the different type of games

Putt putt and go carts

By CoconutZone |

This was our second time visiting. We went at 5 to avoid the crowds. We missed them but, it was hot. We sat inside to cool off and then road go carts. We were there a few hours and were ready to go. Just too hot. But, nothing wrong with Adventure Island.

Best miniature golf courses!

By travelglo2015 |

Every time my granddaughters come to the beach we have to go Play Mini Golf at the Volcano! Courses are clean and laid out well! When the finish they gave to hit the arcades!!! Fun thing to do when you have had enough sun and heat!!!!

Vaca

By tobihall83 |

Great place to bring the kids with laser tag to golf.there is fun for all. When you need to get out of the heat they have an awesome arcade. It will be on our list for our next visit.

Fun in the Evenings

By Mark W |

We come to Orange Beach on vacation and make a stop to Adventure Island. The fun we have with playing golf and video games takes me back to my childhood. I recommend that everyone should go and revisit their childhood.

Fun for the kids! Clean facilities - karts need some maintenance

By beardogmom |

Came the first w-end of fall - so lower tourist crowds as we are semilocals here... Used a BOGO coupon which was awesome!! Boy were just tall enough to drive themselves - they loved that! My sons cart stalled out and really didn't run well - the kids running the carts seem to know this - you would think it would be flagged for repairs as it was sputtering most of the time. We will come back and try the arcade and other rides - maybe golf next time!

Fun for the entire family!

By Rusty H |

Adventure Island is a favorite of our family. We stop here each time we vacation in Gulf Shores. We usually play mini golf, ride the go carts, the Frog Hopper and the bumper water boats at least once if not twice for all the attractions. Lots of laughter and memories being made here !

Good times

By Douglas B |

Always make a stop here while in the area, they have something for all ages. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

Fun Activity

By Gerie K |

My husband and I took 4 teen girls here during Spring Break. The girls favorite activity at Adventure Island was the Go Karts. They also did Laser Tag and Bumper Boats. The average cost of each of these is $7. If you go online to their website you can print out some coupons that come in very handy. Most of the arcade games are $1. They have a large variety of arcade games to chose from. My family had lunch while we were there. The burger is just meat and a bun. They will throw in some ketchup, mustard and mayo but they don't have anything else to put on it. The nacho's are just chips with a side container of cheese. They also have Icee's and ice cream. The food was not appetizing. The arcade is clean and the grounds are in good condition. Overall, this is a good place to visit but I recommend eating a meal somewhere else.

Cute fun family place!

By Melissa J |

Pretty clean and seemed reasonable cost for the games. Not too many kids running around crazy, mini golf was fun! Took a long time, so made it feel worth it. Go karts were cool too!

Repeat Client

By mom-2-5-boys |

We keep going back for miniature golf and go carts. Tried another facility in Gulf Shore and the actual golf course was prett sad. Hands down best kept up and creative mini golf on the Alabama Coast.

Fun outing

By FWBeachGirl |

Fun outing with our two kids. We only experienced the video games and go karts, and there is a good selection of games that earn tickets which the kids love. It’s clean and there were many employees working as well.

mini golf!

By Tiffany K |

We played minigolf for 7$ per person and had amazing family fun! The course has 2different 19 hole options. They have tons of other activities too - gokarts, arcade games, etc. Nice snackbar with lots of options

Very enjoyable

By Lesa B |

We played mini golf here a few times on our trip. The course was fun and challenging. Very well maintained, beautiful landscape. Restrooms were clean and located close enough. A little loud next to the go kart track but appreciated the music on speakers throughout course. A few lights were out on the inside holes of "volcano". Food was overpriced but we didn't go to eat. If we didn't care about money we would have played some of the arcade games, that area was packed.

Family fun

By G1949BKbriang |

My kids love mini golf. They offer 2 courses. Nice clean little park, great fun not real difficult. Go cart track is a mild ride. Lotsa arcade games to keep the kids busy.

Nice family fun

By Ty R |

We went here twice last week. The Go-Carts are fun, however the workers in that area are usually grouchy and do not help if others keep bumping into you and turn your cart around. It was pretty pricey but worth it. The laser tag was great

Fun time

By DMHE |

Arcade meets entertainment complex. Some can play video games (they even have Pac-man and the Mrs)!!! Some can paddle boat, and they may spot an alligator. Some can laser tag, etc. You get the picture. Everyone should be able to find something they enjoy! We did! Only small con is a couple of the machines weren't fully stocked. No problem, quick response from friendly staff.

Teenager Fun

By famhandhospice |

Lot's of things to do at this place.Teenager's enjoyed it and the price was not to high. Nice place for families of all ages.

Great place for the kids.

By Ben G |

I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Adventure Island. The new glow golf was a really fun break from the heat outdoors. I also liked how I could get our players cards from the little kiosk and refill them without waiting in line for an attendant. The employees were all courteous which made our visit even better. Over all I give Adventure Island a 10/10 and I will be back.

Played mini golf and arcade

By jG3362GW |

the Putt-Putt course was so busy that it took an hour or so to finish nine holes. My son gave up before the last hole because he was tired of waiting in line for so long for each hole. the kids enjoyed the arcade however the Pac-Man game took two quarters and never allowed us to play a game. The air conditioning worked very well.

Tons of fun

By smithangie1 |

Plenty of games to play . We love riding the go-carts and playing mini golf. Great fun for kids and adults!

Laser Tag

By JD P |

We used to do a lot more at this place and the staff has always been great. Now we just play laser tag as the boys have gotten older. What impressed me most about this place is that they reinvest money back into the business. Normally tourist attractions slowly degrade over time because the owners want to bleed every drop of profit out of it and then wonder why people quit coming. Not this place. They have upgraded their laser tag system recently and did a full remodel of the building you play in. Best laser tag in the area as far as we are concerned.

Coupon

By Jana R |

We just did the mini golf but it's a nice layout and kids had fun. Go to it's website for a half off coupon ❤️. We actually did both and the one to the right has more shade and is bit nicer. Would take there again.

Waste of time and money

By patnewrn |

This is the only place we regretted going while on vacation on the Alabama coast. We had contact with 4 different employees. They were all rude. After we bought tickets, we had to wait while they called someone to come over to the rides. We could see the employees sitting together in the shade, watching us. After riding the go carts, I had to go back inside to have someone called to come to the bumper boats. You guessed it, it was one of the employees sitting in the shade watching us. The arcade was pretty generic. We didn't spend much time there since we have plenty of arcades at home.

Something to do

By Andy W |

Half of the games in the arcade were broken. Several took our money. Very crowded at night during the summer. Still fun though. If you want to avoid the crowd, go during the day time.

Honeymoon

By Stacey R |

We stopped by here to play mini golf and video games. Great time no matter the age! We also recommend the simulator at level 10.

Needs some improvement

By GoodNPlenty77 |

If you are looking for a little entertainment you'll find it here. My problem was that I was expecting a bit more updated rides, but this place is really really old and the rides show their age. Still a good time to be had!

Good times

By Sergio P |

The mini-golf course and the cart track are great. Plenty of parking space, kids had fun. Only issue was the condition of the bathrooms.

Fun times

By Ashly A |

We stopped in for a round of goody golf. Get on their website and get the BOGO free coupon. We just showed it on our phone since we had no way of printing it. Saved us a bunch. The place is well kept. Young staff but still friendly. Park seems nicer than the "track". After doing my homework it was cheaper as well as long as you use the coupons. We rode the rollercoaster simulator ride. It was neat. A little pricy for the length of the ride. The arcade games are fun. Several carnival type that you don't normally see. Crummy prizes. We give our tickets to a little kid. We just wanted to play the games anyway. Id go back.

Great job

By Carlos |

Great staff done the Brilliant work
Finish on time with perfect deal looked after all small details .. definitely recommend 5 stars

Good fun

By OrangeLeafMorganCity |

Went with group of teenage girls. Go carts were fun as well as the water ride. Good fun for everyone.

Good times!!

By Indiana_nurse07 |

Buy one get off free online coupons for certain activities before 4pm. Fun putt putt course. Cool stimulator machine. Paddle boats was fun for the family

Very fun!

By cayleeed |

The put putt courses are fun and slightly challenging. It's also fun while you
are playing to look for the alligators that live in the water next to the course. I would recommended if you're looking for a fun place with different activities.

Fun Place For Children And Grandchildren

By Chipperhigh2 |

Stopped to look over Adventure Island. It looks like a great place to take children and grandchildren. Also the adults can have fun. The bumper car track looked great. There is the normal arcade games, plus miniature golf, paddle boats, etc. A fun place.

Lots Of Options

By KyReviewerGirl |

We stopped by and walked through. The kids were having fun with the arcade, mini golf, go carts, wall climbing, etc.

Fun place

By Cassandra G |

It was a great place to take kids when needing to get out of the sun. Lots of games. A tad pricey on the games but still fun. We would come back!

My son loved it

By laurabkmiec |

This was my son's second favorite thing to do on the whole trip, coming in after the beach. My husband, dad and 6 year old had a guys afternoon with mini golf and go karts! I know there was an arcade also among some other things.

We spent 4 hours straight, could have been there longer

By Tapas Sarma |

Boys 13 and 17, after 3 days of beach we needed a break that entertains the boys while we can enjoy ourselves while not getting totally tired at the end of the day. So we weighted between the Water park or an Arcade since OWA is not fully done yet.

This place was just right for us. We didn't have to get out of the beach area, very close to a bunch of lunch options, spacious parking and lots of choices for fun stuff. We did the Laser Tag twice because our most competitive teenager got beat by me big time the first time so he had to beat me back the second time.

We did the Go Cart ride and the Bumper Boats and the Roller Coaster Simulator. They were great but I am addicted to the machines. I have most of the time beat the machines and walked off with multiple jackpots in tickets so the children can get whatever they want to get from the prize area. It's like a personal challenge for me and we ended up with about 6000 tickets and the boys got them a bunch off stuff.

I must share this, the owners and the operators were very nice. They were paying attention to every families and their needs. They were always around to make sure everything was up to the satisfaction for the guests. They were kind,
Professional and very nice and friendly.

We will be back. Thank you for being so nice, great way to run a business that makes the few hours fun for the kids and the grown up kids too.

Wonderful time spent with Family

By Stefanie B |

This place was nice, we loved the mini golf and had a wonderful time with our family. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. It was very kid friendly!

Golfing and more

By Pelona |

We all enjoyed the mini golf. Hint, if you want to play more than one round get more than one ball. We enjoyed the 18 holes, but would have done another round had we brought more golf balls. We could have gone back and gotten more but we were okay moving on to laser tag. The kids really enjoyed the games. Even when the machines didn’t work properly(dispensing tickets) the staff promptly responded and rectified the problem. They really enjoyed the games. But full disclosure redeeming the tickets does not get you much. None the less we still enjoyed the entertainment.

not bad

By Cory S |

arcade was decent, didn't get to do go karts or golf since it was raining. Probably not quite as good as fat daddys but the kids loved it

Fun place to visit

By rayray216 |

Lots to do from Arcade, go karts, putt putt, paddle boats and more. We played putt putt and the courses were clean and fun. But was a lot of steps. Paddle boats was fun but had to wait a while for a worker to come operate the attraction. Overall price was great compared to others in the area.

Need to upgrade but pretty decent

By K. T |

okay, let me begin by providing what i mean by the title of the review.
The attraction is good however they need to upgrade, at least the coin machines to where it is credit card friendly. Cash is becoming obsolete . We had to use an ATM machine to get cash. After we used the ATM machine we received a weird text message and i contacted the bank immediately and they informed us not to respond or call the number that it was someone trying to hack our information. Hint the reason we prefer not to use non bank ATMs the opportunity to be hacked and of course ATM fees.

okay that was the only downfall. The attraction is self was pretty decent no complaints from my kiddos. I wished the staff was more intuitive but I dont expect much they were teens.

Ample free parking. Affordable attractions , bumper boats, go kart racing. There is a small track for the little ones.

There is a credit card option for concession stand.

overall I would visit again.

Fun day even in the rain....

By Jenna D |

We had a blast with the mini golf with 2 courses to choose from, we were not disappointed. In fact we came back just to play the other course. Go karts we're a main attraction with bumper boats and frog hopper in a close second. With ten dollars of change another hour of arcade fun proved to be great fun for young and old.

Friday Night Fun!!

By EjayMobile_Alabama |

We had so much fun at Adventure Island! We were very impressed by the nice facility with so much to do! There are two putt-putt golf courses and so many other things to do from paddle boats, laser tag, go karts , a very large arcade - you will definitely not be bored here!! We were especially impressed with the layout of the putt-putt courses - very unique and the landscaping is beautiful!! The only negative note was the young lady who waited on us at the desk. Guess she had just had a bad day but she was not very friendly or welcoming :-(. In spite of that, however, we will he back!!!

Great fun!

By Casey G |

Our family had a great time! Reasonably priced with their BOGO coupon. Go carts were okay. We liked the golf course. Arcade was good fun.The simulator machine was very cool!!

Family Fun and Diversion from the Beach

By West_Michigan_Birder |

We spent a couple hours here over two visits. The arcade was older and the prizes typical of places like this: $20 worth of play for a couple of suckers and a squishy frog. All-in-all it's just what I expected and needed as a break from the beach for my family.

Fun for kids!

By beachbum329 |

The kids love this place but bring your wallet! It's expensive! Go carts, mini golf, etc. You can spend hours here

A good place for mini-golf

By pk1363 |

We were there on a quiet day. Nice weather. The course was under repair/maintenance/construction but we had a good time anyway. The course is normal challenging, well maintained with interesting holes. The water features had been pumped down to allow the construction and maintenance, but we could see that if it were up and running 100% it would be one of our favorite places for mini golf. We'll be back

Great family area

By Brad P |

We had a great time on a hot afternoon getting away from the beach for a little bit and enjoying the go Kars and just hanging out. My daughter had so much fun.

Good mini golf. Subpar arcade. EXPENSIVE

By Zeke |

Everything at this place is severely overpriced.

Mini golf courses are okay and kinda fun but expensive.

The arcade used to be awesome but has become a lot less fun. Many of the best games have been removed and the price to play has skyrocketed. A few games cost $0.50 to play per turn. Most games cost $1 per play. Some games cost as much as $3 per game! Insane prices for an arcade.

Everything in gulf shores seems to have gotten more expensive but this attraction has taken the term inflation to a new level.

Friends from Louisiana

By Rebecca |

We had daughter (19), boyfriend (19) and daughter (6).
This place has everything for teens and younger kids. A definite must do!! AAAAA’s across board.❤️

Very upset customer

By Suzanne N |

I never go back to this place. I witness my son being crab on the arm unwanted my gentleman that we did not know. My son was playing virtual games and did not like that he was touched by a gentleman. They also served alcohol at this place. I do not feel like they serve alcohol at this place. We had to fill a report with the police department because the place would not make him leave. It is also very price place to play games.

Awesome vacation destination!

By Roger A |

The beach was perfect! Not crowded and family friendly. The traffic was tolerable. Not as touristy as many of the beaches in Florida.

Fun with family

By flippofamily |

There are several choices for family fun on the gulf but we chose this one. Mini golf and go karts were a lot of fun. Prices ok, service good... lines but wait was not bad.

Playtime!

By Laurie-TonyW |

This place has something for everyone. Golf, go carts, games. It has it all. Keeps everyone entertained for hours. Great place to play after you have had all the sun you can handle for the day.

Adventures on the Island

By Zenobia O |

Adventure Island was a fun time for my family. It offered an array of activities for the interest of our eclectic group. The bumper boats were the most fun in my opinion.

Overpriced

By Sherri W |

Long wait in lines. Rides are expensive. Ride time is short. Probably won't go back again. Could use some updating.

Go Kart Fun

By Linda F |

Our grands, ages 10 and 13, had a lot of fun riding the karts, so much that we went two separate times. They also enjoyed the arcade games and playing air hockey with Grandpa. The staff was super nice. Check their website for discount coupons on the karts (two for one before 4 pm).

Fun Time

By charlieandsusangist |

We went to play put put golf and did the race cars.Later we played the games inside.Had a fun time. They also have paddle boats.

Great Inexpensive Fun

By mrsbt614 |

We had a blast here...3,5,6,16,19 year old kids. We enjoyed just as much as they did. No long lines for go karts and bumper boats. Even balance of inside and outside fun. We didn’t buy any food here as we had our own.

High Cost Games Low Return

By Daddylama76 |

The arcade at Adventure Island offers a variety of new arcade games for adults and kids to play. However, some games cost $1.00 per play and yield very low amount of tickets. With that ratio, business is good for Adventure Island and bad for the customer. I have played similar games at other venues back home and they are not as costly as these. Be cautious of this.

Putt putt in the rain

By Melissa T |

We had a great time despite the tropical storm coming ashore. We had the course to ourselves. The staff let us take our time even though they were closing.

Great place for family

By Karenryang |

We always love to visit and play a round of Golf with the family. Great place for family fun and friendly staff.

Fun mini golf and arcade that takes quarters!

By beardogmom |

We enjoyed the cute mini golf - it was clean and interesting.
The arcade is pretty good too. The air hockey didn't really keep score correctly but the other games were in good working order. Most games are ticket games so be prepared to win a pencil for only 500 tickets! It was Mardi Gras - I think a missed opportunity to bring more ppl in was missed - have some specials to entice the locals to come out!

Vacation

By Katie T |

So many things to do. We went late in the evening so it was cooler outside. The paddle boats were a lot of fun. We also rode the go karts and played some games inside. We will definitely go back next year!!!?

Great family place!

By KRISTEN E |

Our family had such a great time here! A little pricey but you can print coupons online before you go!

Great place to enjoy an afternoon

By smittync |

We stopped by on two different days to play mini golf. Both of the courses were in excellent shape and fun to play.

Nice employees. Great fun at night

By Rhonda F |

We went later and stayed till they closed at midnight. We rode go karts, putt putt, laser tage, roller coaster simulator and arcade. Everyone had a blast. Cool vreeze helped during the summer with the heat, very manageable. They even have great little kiddie rides. Clean and great value!!!

Clean and well maintained funspot

By Hiller63 |

Traveled here in late afternoon with two families. Everyone enjoyed the putt putt and wanted to do more. Due to time constraints we had to continue. If you are looking for a clean well maintained establishment that offers these activities I recommend it.

Nasty place!

By Marilyn L |

Went at night, thank goodness and did not see all of the gross fungus growing all through the putt putt course and the ladies bathroom was so disgusting!

Great time for families!

By Lauren B |

We took our grandson here to play miniature golf. The lady who gave us our putters and gold balls was super nice and gave us a couple extra balls in case he lost one in the water features, which did happen. Very thoughtful of her!

Fun family stop

By Jen |

The golf course was really fun! They had an indoor course, but we didn’t try it. The go karts were also fun and our 4 yo was old enough to ride along. the arcade was a good size and there was a concession stand available.

It seemed fairly quiet in the middle of the afternoon (hot but could cool off in the arcade)

it rained us out

By ronald o |

Fun while it lasted The coin operated games where great and very Entertaining. It seem to be a save place for kids.

Arcade Mania!

By OTSB |

My 7 year-old loved this place. It was the highlight of his trip. Drove 500 miles to enjoy the beach and he preferred this arcade.

Putt-Putt and Go-Karts

By Jen-R-B-C-1 |

My kids (ages 5 and 7) had an absolute blast here the last night we were in Orange Beach. We stayed at Tradewinds, which is literally right across Perdido Beach Blvd. from Adventure Island. The putt-putt course is awesome!! Go-karts could have lasted a few more laps (kinda felt like we didn't get to go for very long) but it was fun, too. Arcade was pretty good, as well. Would definitely recommend printing coupons off their website to save a few bucks :)

20 Years of Fun!

By Stacy W |

I've been coming here since I was a kid in the late nineties, and I love being able to bring my kids now. It's just as clean and updated now as it was then. My middle son was so excited about the volcano (which you get to go through on the mini golf course). The light show at night makes for a very special time with family. Be prepared to spend what you normally would at any kid's place, but it's worth it for the memories.

Fun spot for the family

By snobizAtlanta |

All kinds of games and go kart tracks. There is fun items for everyone in the family. Many go kart tracks for little ones to big ones. It is a little expensive, but worth it for the family. There is a mini golf course and bumper boats. The entire family should enjoy this place.

Great Fun for kids and Adults.

By Chelsea S |

We gave each of our kids 20 bucks and let them go in here and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Their age ranges from 10 to 18. It was as clean as an arcade could be, reasonably, and there were no "out of order" signs on any of the games. This to me says it is pretty well run. The employees were all nice enough and the prizes for tickets were not less than expected. I would say this is a good way to keep the kids entertained for a little while on a rainy day. There are a few other arcades in the area and we ducked in a few of them and decided on this one because it seemed to have plenty of games and was not overly crowded.

Always Fun

By Martha A |

We usually play here at least once a year.. Sometimes more. The courses are perfect for all ages. We range from 4 to in the 50's. There is enough challenge for adults to have fun, but easy enough for kids to manage a few holes in 1. The go karts are fun too and my boys live the arcade. Good place to visit when temps drop.

We always spend at least 2 hours on vaca here

By Kelly L |

Kids love this place. Half of the games eat your money or dont give you the tickets it should give you. Kids spent a lot of time finding a woker to get it resolved over and over on multiple games. We finally just left.

Good place to kill some time

By Sam M |

My 16 yr old son and I spent a couple hours here. We drove the go karts, played skeet ball, pop a shot, shooting gallery, racing games and generally had a good time.

Nice place for family mini golf!

By Family T |

Took our 9y/o for minigolf. There are two paths to choose from. If you take the right side course it leads through the volcano. Course was well maintained but could clean the water in the hazards. Overall it was $25 for the 2 adults and a child over 6y/o. Still good fun for any older course. We did not try the cars or arcade but looked fun as well.

Break from the water

By Ballina H |

We stayed across the street during our stay at Orange Beach and decided to take a break from the water. The arcade was fun for us all. Glow in the dark Mini golf was ok.

Fun spot

By Angela |

Great place to play mini golf. It was really busy the day we went but we still really enjoyed the course. The volcano eruption and light show is very cute. Very kept up and green. They also have go karts and arcade games. You can easily find a coupon online for buy 1 get 1 until 4pm and then after it's $1 off up to 4 per coupon. We really enjoyed it!

Cool place

By Meegsman |

This was a welcome spot to take the kids for an hour or so away from the beach. Go Karts and rides were fun and fairly economical. Get 'em some games and a few rides and they'll have a blast.

Best value of arcade/mini golf

By Haushold |

We have been to them all. With the coupon from the visitors center it is the best value. Two miniature golf courses, bumper boats, go karts, arcade and more. Friendly staff too.

Good time, good value

By Arthur W |

Stopped in to play mini golf and bumper boats. Compared to other places around, this was a pretty good value. One of the golf courses was closed, but kid & I had a good time on the other two courses. Kid picked a bumper boat that was not working properly, and once the attendant swapped him out, he didn’t restart our ride time, even though we were the only two people around. Otherwise we had a great time.

Go Before 4 for BOGO Discount, shaded course, great go carts, huge games.

By EvilleGenius |

Places like this can get crazy expensive fast, especially with kids. BUT, using available discounts, it can be an affordable couple hours of fun. Use the printable coupon on their website (and at welcome centers) for BOGO free go karts, mini golf, and bumper boats before 4. Only one deal per family...unless you ask nicely...wink wink. About $7 each normally, so 3.50 for golf or go carts is very doable. Ask long as you BUY before 4 pm, you can get discount.

We did golf on left, and I was impressed with shade from the trees, and very nice landscaping. There was even a coke machine halfway, which was only a buck. (I would have paid whatever considering it was 94 that day!)

Go carts were fun, and my 9 year old could even drive. Bigger cars, not small ones. Fast enough to be fun, nice long track, they let you go for quite a while, and seem to keep a good look out on things.

Seats in shade outside building for older or lazier family members, which was nice. Lazer tag in bldg outside, and we didn't play, so can not comment on that.

Arcade games larger than life, and best thing.....affordable. Some places rip you off charging 3 bucks a pop, but even huge games only $1. Yes, even the rifle arcade with the targets that make things move from the Old West, and the super cool moving conveyor belt type climbing wall.

Obviously if you go when it is raining, it will be packed. But, if you take a break from the sun in the middle of the day, it should be fine. They also had a lot of activities for the little ones, which we didn't do as my youngest is 9. Staff was helpful, and plentiful, despite what others have said.

Night time fun

By beerclassicrock |

Great time at mini golf, packed, but no one minded waiting ! Nice course! Go carts awesome! Highly recommend , reasonable !

Not much going on in December

By mcdpm |

Had a lunch at Villaggio Grille. Very good. We also had a lunch special at Live Bait, also very good. Lots of building going on. March would be a better time.for things going on.

Fun time had by all

By 70520 |

Adventure Island is a family oriented facility with several ways to entertain: arcade, laser tag, go-karts, putt putt and more. There are 2 putt putt courses that are well maintained, shaded (at times) and enjoyable. There is some step climbing involved but it is not difficult.

Great time

By Kim J |

We played put put golf and the kids let me win. We raced one the go carts and I al out won. Had some drinks to refresh ourselves and paled a couple of games. The staff was excellent and everyone had fun!

Great break from the beach

By Nashvillemom |

We had a wonderful time with our 3 and 6yo! Make sure you come before 4pm and show their coupon and you’ll receive 1/2 off everything as This made it totally worth it and We were able play games, putt putt, bumper cars and go carts.

Best arcade in orange beach

By Jennifer S |

Had a great time! My teen boys love arcades and this is one of the best! I recommend stopping by when in orange beach!

Fun Family times

By Lori V. |

Karaoke machine is our favorite next to the roller coaster simulator! A bit stingy on tickets but the place is great for a good time!

Fun, but bring a fat wallet

By Casualtriptaker1 |

We played putt-putt and both courses are fine.
We rode go-karts once as well. My 9 year old was excited to drive by himself, but my 7 year old was less than thrilled that she missed the height requirement by an inch and had to be my passenger (for $3 extra bucks). The karts where unbelievably bumpy, but were fast enough for the good course. It's more fun with a large group going at the same time (the run before us seemed boring with only 3 karts going).
The prices are pretty high on putt-putt and the go-karts, but the big rip-off is the arcade games. Every game seems to be "gambling" for tickets and is $1 per "game". There were some older games for $.50 and a couple of $.25 games though.
I think I would have felt better if they had packaged deals or something. The kids did have a ton of fun though. While I thought it was pricey, they're doing something right, because they were very busy on a Sunday night.

Kids’ favorite arcade

By Courtney N |

We went to several arcades and this one was by far, our favorite. We did have some issues with a couple of games but the staff was friendly and resolved them quickly and fairly. My kids won a ton of tickets which made the experience fun. We also played putt putt and rode go-carts which were fun, but the arcade is what really stood out for us.

Alligator warning signs?

By john w |

The staff was very nice to our group comprising grandparents, parents, and a 7-year old boy. They offer two mini-golf courses (we chose the one with more shade).

Without exact recall of scores I believe our group had 2 hole-in-ones and a few maximum strokes holes, so overall a balanced putt-putt layout demanding skill and dumb luck.

Don't know if the alligator warning sign(s) on the back nine serve to caution but they do provide a neat selfie background. We again noticed reptile warnings inside the bumper boat lagoon, so maybe it's an insurance thing.

The go-kart events are TIMED rather than by some number of LAPS, so this keeps the line moving when you're waiting on the group ahead of you who keep stopping traffic for one of their people getting sideways against the wall.

Pirate's Island checks all the boxes for a nice family outing.

Great mini golf and arcade

By Tyme4relaxing |

This is a great family attraction. The arcade is full of all types of games for little kids to teenagers to adults. The mini golf course was fun. The course is challenging and the theme is fun. There are two courses to choose from. Look in the coupon books found all over town for a coupon. The usual coupon is buy one get one free if playing before 4 PM or $1 off after 4 PM. This place is open late and it's not over priced compared to some other similar places that I've been. The race track didn't look as good as the one over in Foley but the arcade and golf were awesome!

Fun steps from the Beach

By Matthew B |

We had a great time with the family playing a round of golf here. Games were fairly priced, courses well kept, and service was friendly. Aside from golf there were many other activities if you’re looking for some off beach fun.

Good time on a crowded night

By GoodSource |

We had fun despite a very crowded summer evening. There are two courses — we played the Lost Lagoon. Things seemed to be well kept and in working order. We’d visit again. There are a number of other attractions (paddle boats, go carts, arcade, etc.), but we just did the golf.

Fun day

By kerriedarnell |

Adventure Island was across the street from our condo so we decided to check it out. Reasonably priced arcade games. The prizes could use a little better selection. It was a fun, budget friendly way to spend a couple of hours when your kids want something different to do than the beach.

Spring Break

By teenamt |

My son and daughter went one night of our spring break with their girlfriend and boyfriend and had a great time ~ they only got to play mini golf and a few video games because they got their a little late but said it was a fun place and they'd go back. My daughter had gone the year before and experienced all they had to offer and loved it . It's worth checking out !

Exactly what you might expect

By Daystartom |

When you go to a place like this you should expect to shell out a decent amount of cash. That said, the kids had fun pumping quarters in machines in exchange for tickets that you redeem for trinkets (think Chuck E Cheese). We paid extra to ride the go carts and were ripped off. Car #22 was literally the slowest go cart I've ever been on in my life. I tried telling the teenaged attendant but he truly couldn't care less. However, the bumper boats were a blast (again pay extra). Be prepared to get soaked if you ride them. Overall the kids loved it but I wasn't completely sure it was worth the money. We stayed there about an hour and a half.

Golf Course Needed Leaf Blower

By Anthony-Mary C |

We visited to play mini-golf. The course is nice enough but they need to take a leaf blower and blow it off a couple times a day. The carpets had a lot of leaves when we played. Someone had thrown up right beside the front door too. Just need an employee or 2 to walk around and police up the messes and it will be first-rate.

Nothing seemed to work

By AmyChronister |

It seemed as if every game my kids wanted to play was out of order or wasn't giving them tickets when they had won. We spent half of our time looking for something to play and the other half trying to find someone to help with the games. With that being said, my kids still had a good time.

Fun

By Hannahsweek |

This place was pretty fun for adults and kids. It had laser tag, mini golf, go carts, bumper boats, arcade games. They also had paddle boats but they said their rescue boat was down so we could not go on them. The go carts bump and bounce you to death. Over all it was fun we had a good time.

Typical COIN ARCADE

By Travelin' Man |

Lots of game noises and neon lights sensory overload topped by LOTS of quarters spent on typical arcade atmosphere you can find at home. Stay outside and enjoy Go Karts, Bumper Water Boats and Mini Golf instead

So much fun

By Carolyn P |

Our family of four had so much fun here!!! In my opinion, the rides were a good value. The go-karts were not the most thrilling, but neither were they boring. They have mini-golf courses, which were well kept. We also played laser tag, which was extremely fun. We wanted to come back to see the "erupting volcano", but rain prevented us from doing so. This attraction provides great family entertainment for all ages, There is a special section of rides for younger children. Again, great family fun!

Great Putt Putt

By Stacey B |

As tradition for 21 years, my family plays putt putt golf here. We love both courses & it's right across the street from our condo. Putt Putt is reasonably priced. They have other fun things to do as well (go karts, laser tag, arcade games, etc) but we just do putt putt.

Great entertainment in Orange Beach

By neush8 |

We have been to The Track and Adventure Island. We prefer Adventure Island. They have better prices and a better arcade. We enjoyed the mini golf course too. We will definitely come back to Adventure Island. It was fun for the kids and adults.

A real FUN Adventure

By Glenda O |

School is about to start and we have the school clothes in the closets, now we rush to Adventure Island for a last Summer fling of fun! Money in hand kids in tow we purchase and pass out the tickets and see our large group break into small groups to go to their favorite activity to enjoy first. Moving fast, splashing deep, swinging high, flying fast, laughing, screaming and then getting ready to do it all over again.
The happy kids that loaded
up for a ride back to the condo with me, were already planning the next trip to Adventure Island. I assured them that I would be glad to come along again as their driver.
Take your children and grandchildren to Adventure Island and have fun watching them have fun. It is worth every penny you will spend for their admission and treats.
Don't delay, for they will be able to drive themselves soon and you will not be allowed to go with them.
Make memories TODAY.

Putt putt

By lori755 |

Putt putt course was lame. But maybe that’s why it was only $7.50 each. The course was basic with only a few original holes.

Fun filled family day

By vrondorf |

As a family of 5 with 3 kids ages 8, 11 and 13 this was a fun family day! We started with mini golf and the kids loved the volcano and that they could go inside. We hit the go carts next and our 8 year loved that he was big enough to drive himself. The arcade was reasonably priced and we would definitely come back if we are in the area again one day.

Lots to do!

By MDBennett1 |

They have everything from an arcade, putt putt golf, go carts, paddle boats and more! There is plenty to do! Can get pretty expensive if you have a big family and you want to do all of it though!

Family fun

By Angela C |

The children had an absolutely awesome time! It was a little crowded for our liking but the kids didn't mind at all! We did all of the activities and the kids couldn't stop laughing and smiling! When we return to Orange beach we will definitely stop in again.

Fun for the whole family

By JohnsGirl87 |

I liked that they had 2-person go-carts for little ones to ride along. Mini tea cups were fun. We wanted to experience the volcano eruption up close, but were told the only way to do that was to purchase mini golf.

All we did was golf, but it's a very nice course!

By Kris C |

We had an hour to kill before driving 14 hrs back home and decided to stop and play a round of golf with the kids. We arrived before 4pm and took advantage of the BOGO coupon. We played the course on the right, I can't remember what it was called. It was an above average course and not very challenging, so the kids loved it.

I'll be back the next time we are in the area for sure.

Putt putt and no so good go karts

By BestBamaGirl1973 |

My mother and I decided to take my two boys and a girlfriend to show the kids who can golf (: we had a great 18 hole putt putt game and after, decided to race the kind day with go karts. No racing there, two of our cars couldn't hardly go...in fact I parked my car half way through because it kept bogging out. No offer for a new car at all. Then my youngest gave up on his kart also. No apology...no fix😞 At least offer the youngest one another ride!

Adventure island on the beach...perdido beach Blvd

Family fun but can be annoying

By Travelingcritic81 |

We love this place the laser tag is fun but they try to hurry you through rather than letting you wait for more people to participate with so that's a little annoying. The arcade gives a good amount of tickets on certain games. To go karts are really not fun the track is too bumpy and the cars are not great at all. The bumper boats may be the most fun thing there but the pressure plates that activate the mounted canons are junk and just don't work. We had lots of laughs but it can be expensive. We didn't do golf so I can't offer a review there. Time laser tag right and it's a blast do the bumper boats for sure but be ready to get soaked

Not the best but it helped during a rainy day

By Sjajor |

Arcade games accept quarters only, no tokens. You will need to have cash or use their ATM to get cash and pay the associated ATM charges. I do not believe that they accept credit cards. In addition to arcades, the have miniature golf, go carts and I believe laser tag. Personally, we like Dave & Busters better. It it's a much larger chain.

Spring break

By myskymama |

Very busy during spring break. Would have liked to have seen a few more employees walking around to help with arcade machines. .25 for each game. We didn't do the mini golf but it looked fun. Fun place for the kids to play. Snack bar.

Good Place To Keep The Kidos Busy

By Reggiel54 |

Well, it was as to be as expected. A good place to find kids running around inside playing games and hitting floating golf balls in the water while playing mini-golf outside.

The golfing was not that exciting but the go karts made up for it. This was my 6-year old's first time around a racetrack and he had a blast.

So, save a few bucks and just go with the go karts only.

Oh, the waterfall was super cool too.

Fun attraction open late at night for kids and adults

By Latergator3 |

This is one of my favorite places to go during the evening/night in Gulf Shores. It's inexpensive, stays open very late, and a fun place to for kids and adults. The putt putt golf is actually two courses mixed together so pick the one with the smallest groups and less people on it. It does require some stair climbing but it's fun. You pass by waterfalls and through the volcano that explodes a couple of times while you play. May isn't the best time to go because of the biting flies and there are occasionally small snakes near the courses (I've seen three in all the years I've been going here-leave them alone, they leave you alone). Inside is a pretty awesome arcade with new and old arcade games. We play and give the tickets away to kids. The go karts are okay. I've only rode them a few times. Nothing amazing. It's the golf course that really makes this place a fun and different thing to do while there.

Great Family Fun!

By Robbie F |

Great place for kids and adults to have fun family time! Easily to locate and lots of fun activities.

Great Fun at a Fair Price

By CandiDW |

The staff was very friendly. We used the bogo before 4:00 coupon on Go-Karts. They were really fast and my son, who is not normally tall enough to drive a go-kart, was able to drive his own here. We did not play mini golf but the courses are well maintained. We played in the arcade for about an hour. There are a lot of games for .50 AND 1.00 . There are a couple for a quarter but every game gave tickets. The ticket prizes were comparable to what you find at any arcade. For $30 all four of us rode go karts, played arcade games, and walked away with several cheap prizes. It was $30 worth of fun.

Adventure

By Nikita s |

Very good place to hangout with friends and with family. Rides for children, adults and old age people are also availabe. Thumbs up for this adverture place.

Fun Soot

By Nicole R |

We visited Adventure Island with a group of pre-teen and teenaged kids. They had a great time on the go-karts, playing later tag, playing video games. Price is ok, not exactly a bargain but not horrible either. I would check around for coupons prior to going. We went at night so a little more crowded but never a long wait to do the things they wanted.

Great Fun

By pso418 |

Went there with two 15 y/o girls, 15 yr old boy and a 9 & 10 year old boy. We usually head to the Track in Gulf Shores. However found a buy one get one coupon on their website. This saved us a bunch. The place was very clean and workers helpful. Mini golf was great. Kids also enjoyed the go karts. The coupon saved us a lot of $$. Make sure you check their site for coupons we were able to just show it on our phone.

Great place for evening entertainment

By O4725EKbrianb |

Lots of stuff to do here. The mini golf courses are pretty good and they had a nice go kart track. also lots of video games.

Very Average

By Martywhelan |

Brought the kids here for something to do after dinner. A lot of the machines were broken and it was very loud. Go karts were fun but the arcade needs some work.

So poor, didn’t stay

By Carolyn M |

Sad that during peak season only things open were mini golf & go carts. All others closed due to “short staff”. Three small children very upset. We left and went to another park. Disappointed.

Adults can be kids here too!

By 394lauriep |

Now I was a little reluctant to go. But even with my kids being 21 and 23 we had a blast! Putt Putt, to all kids of arcade games, new and old. Acting like a teenager again was fun, and the kids enjoyed it also. The games are not over priced (.50 cents- $1.00 each) so your not going broke having fun!

Reamy Vacation

By 678rexr |

This place was great! Staff was freindly and helpful. They made sure we had the best deal, and was able to play golf and ride. Games where all working and clean.

Fun but busy

By SuzyQIndiana |

We took the grandchildren around 5:00 pm last week. It was not busy at all but by the time we left it was a zoo! We played mini-golf and rode go-karts as well as video games. Kids enjoyed it.

Just average

By FLtravelMomma |

We only tried the arcade yesterday. There was a cute photo machine and we enjoyed the pac man. The kids were trying a lot of other games but it seemed like every game they tried took their money and didn't work, or let them play then didn't give them tickets. We spent as much time searching for someone to give us our $ or tickets for a game malfunction as we did playing. With a little maintaining this place could be really great. Right now it needs some attention.

Fun Place for all of the family

By Bonnieferg23 |

Everyone can enjoy this place. Kids can play games, ride in bumper carts and play putt putt golf. They have a couple more things to do that families can enjoy.

Fun, clean, reasonably priced

By Mantachie96 |

We visited Adventure Island on two occasions this trip. It was great. My kids really enjoy going here every time we visit the AL coast.

Not that good

By Amanda B |

Most of the activities were closed. Only thing we got to do was the race track and the arcade after planning it for one of our activities and coming all the way from Missouri. No mention of it on their website

Fun arcade

By worldtraveler1040 |

Took the teenagers there for a change of pace. They enjoyed the hour and a half it took to spend their money. They walked away with a squid hat...they were happy...

Kids loved it

By Amy S. |

We took my 10 year old son here for his birthday while on vacation and he had a blast. He was tall enough to drive his own go-cart which was his favorite part. Nice track! We also enjoyed Lazer tag and the arcade. If you go before 4pm and use the coupon on their website, it's much more affordable for a family.

Fun for the whole family

By Kailan |

We visited with a variety of ages (6 months to 32 years old). We played putt putt golf which was fun and the two courses were nice so there was not a long back up of people you had to wait on. They had a coupon on their website so we got one dollar off per person which was a added bonus. We also played in the arcade they have a variety of games for all ages. I will say that some of the games were out of order and that is the only reason for 4 stars. We will certainly be back again.

The best I’ve been to. Anywhere.

By Brad G |

This place has new and well kept facilities. Usually putt putt golf places are in crappy condition. Not here. The indoor outdoor carpet are in perfect shape. They were out cleaning them as we were out playing. The arcade is great as well. One of the games malfunction and the lady came over and fixed it right away. What s fun place. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place deserved a five so here I am.

Excellent Fun

By BriStev |

Went here to play some arcade games and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of activities they had. There were go karts( which were great), putt-putt, the arcade and kids rides like a spinning tea cup. We spent the majority of our time in the arcade and had a blast. There was a wide variety of classic arcade games and newer games like deal-or-no-deal, monopoly, and wheel of fortune. The atmosphere was a comfortable one for young adults even though it was geared towards children. The cost of the arcade games was reasonable as well. Overall very pleased with this adventuresome place.

Worn out

By Kateb7737430 |

We only did the golf part. Non of the fountains worked and the gnats were relentless. Would have been nice to have those giant fans to help with this. Music was way outdated as well. We didn’t think the volcano worked but it did finally go off as we were leaving.

Lots to do, quite crowded on a rainy day

By clearh20snorkel |

The arcade is good, lots of variety of games although walking around can be a little hard with as busy as it gets. There was enough for a 13 year old, 9 year old and 4 year old to be happy and spend lots of quarters on for certain. Also tried out the go karts which are not bad priced for the time you spend in them. When we drove we had the track to ourselves although as we left there was a big group getting ready to drive so that may vary. Overall a good distraction from the beach and sun (and a way to escape a rain shower or two).

Mini golf & go carts

By JIm J |

3 adults and an 8 year old came to enjoy the evening. The go carts are very rough but enjoyable nevertheless. I thought the pricing was reasonable considering the time on the track.

The mini golf was fun. There are two different courses to choose from and the one we chose was clean and well kept.

I give Adventure Island a 4 star as it has value in the pricing and a good family entertainment.

Good family fun

By ShDersh |

We were looking for something to entertain our 2 year old, and this place had fun arcade games for her age. They also have mini-golf, bumper boats, laser tag, tea cups, and go-karts for older kids and younger kids. We didn't do any of those, so I cannot speak to them.

Attention to Detail

By Andy W |

We came here a few years ago and the property needed improvement. Thankfully we spent time again this year and to our surprise they have done a great job at upgrades. Golf course is being redone and the arcade had all games in working order. Now our favorite arcade in OB.

Money pit

By Funnybamagirl |

The prizes the kids have to choose from are awful and most games take 4 coins and you may get two tickets. Some games take your coins and couldn't find anyone to help.

Nice putt-putt

By vacaroline |

Great place for putt-putt! Not sure about all of the other things to do. Our family had a fun-filled evening with the putt-putt, even our littlest one had fun!

A must do for us each trip

By Terri C |

We travel to Orange Beach often and Adventure Island is an absolute must every time we are here. We have been coming here since our oldest son was a baby, he is now 15 and we still love Adventure Island. Our favorites are the go carts and arcade, but we have enjoyed almost all of their activities at one time or another. Highly recommend!

Family Fun

By lindsey783 |

Great place. 2 putt putt courses to choose from - the easier course was great for our 5 and 3 year old. The arcade was a blast and not too crazy priced.

Fun Afternoon! Great place to have kids bday party

By HopeReed |

My 5 year old son's buddy had his birthday party at Adventure Island in Orange Beach where they got to play games, putt putt golf, and play laser tag. That was the best part several of us enjoyed with the kids.

Was Ok

By Becnelbunch |

We took the kids to adventure island hoping for a fun night. They do have a lot to do, but definitely geared for older kids....10 & up.
It wasn't a busy night, which was ok, but when we did activities that were not very popular, we had to wait and wait for attendants to help. The activities that were geared for the the younger kids, seemed a bit boring (the little go-karts). The height and age limits made things difficult for us, as workers questioned us on what the little ones could do. Some of the workers were rude. We did make the best of it and of course gave them more of our paycheck than we should-it was vacation! But definitely would drive a little further for a better experience next time.

Typical,nothing special!

By pmtny72 |

Kind of crowded in the game room. Area seemed small! Go carts were ok, a little pricey for 4 laps! Not much competition so guess they can charge what they want!

Alway Fun!!

By family778811 |

this has become one of our family's activities every time we visit the area. we went early one morning to try to beat the heat. this is the WAY TO GO!. used half off coupons from the welcome center, not too hot in the shade (most holes have tree coverings) clean very family oriented. A MUST

Great family fun.

By Safari45157018053 |

Grandkids had a wonderful time. Old fashion using quarters games. Two courses of Mini golf. Kids excitement with winning tickets for prizes.

Great entertainment when you want to leave the beach for a while.

By Juergen A |

Really enjoyed the place. So many things to do when the children (and not only the children - I'm 70) are getting bored or the rain keeps you from the beach. Such a variety of entertainment options, from putt-putt golf to go-carts to arcade games. And I even found my good old pin-ball machines with real steal balls an flippers. You can't find them too much anymore. Loved it.

Reasonably priced fun

By Misty R |

My husband and I visited here with our 11 year old son and had a great time. Our son spent a little of his money in the arcade and then we got tickets for him and my husband to ride gocarts and for all of us to play laser tag and mini golf. The tickets for all of that were around 40 (with a coupon). Good fun!

Go karts & arcade

By DanMoose |

I was really impressed by the friendliness & helpfulness of the young staff. Usually, that painstaking process of kids deciding how to use their arcade tickets to redeem for prizes is met with a look of “c‘mon already” but the young adults working here were patient and helpful with suggestions. Much appreciated!

I mean ideally, you’re at the beach right? But when the weather doesn’t cooperate this arcade is plenty big enough to kill an hour, maybe 2.

And the go karts! Pleasantly surprised. Hard to tell how big the track is until you’re on it but it’s fun layout and you get a pretty solid 5+ minutes to tear it up. Much better value than others we’ve been to.

Didn’t play mini golf but the course seemed in decent shape

Mini golf, volcano, enough said!

By Christy C |

There is a volcano that you get to play through on the golf course that we enjoyed. This is a great family activity and we visited the arcade afterwards. Everything was moderately priced. You have a choice of two golf courses; there are also go karts and other activities.

Fun Arcade

By devt95 |

We only got to do the arcade before our little one was ready to go but we really enjoyed the game selection. Most games were $1+ per play so your money can disappear quickly. We walked around the outdoor activities and will be back to try the laser tag, putt-putt, and go karts on our next vacation.

Great fun, good prices

By Jessica0823 |

Our teens loved this spot, spending two evenings here during spring break. I joined them on the second night. The mini-golf course was fun to do after dark, and the holes were not too difficult but still challenging. The arcade had a large quantity and variety of games. Tickets for prizes are still a hit. Well run, well staffed, and kept clean.

Arcade

By MrsDigitalBush |

Great arcade. Kids had fun but so did the parents. Highly recommend They have a giant pac man game and space Invaders. Also have putt putt and bumper boats, but we didn't try those. All games use quarters. Can play anywhere from 25 cents to $1.00 a play

Go carts are great

By J0hnG0 |

Took two 15 year old ladies here. Their very favorite part was the go carts. They laughed for an hour after they got back to the hotel. They relived the whole thing. I would recommend this attraction to every wholesome teen.

So much fun!

By I7495PXsharonl |

We had a great afternoon with my daughter and grandson here. We used to bring our children when they were young, so brought back some fun beach memories.

Cool for kids and kids in heart!!!!

By SPROULLS |

Everyone was very friendly.. It started storming so all outside activities were on hold until the storm blew over... They did offer "rain checks" 😮 And we were able to come back after lunch and drive on the race track... They also have a small fair area for the kids and a paddle boat alligator tour

Nice little place

By sgoodpa |

We spent about an hour here tonight. Had a lot of fun. All the games worked well. The putt putt was Very busy but nice. The paddle boats are fun, the laser tag is small but nice. The prices are average. Lots of children here. All around a fun place.

Gator in the pond ! Beware

By meagan3131 |

We went here and bought tickets for coconut climb, go carts, 3D ride and paddle boats. There were no attendants at certain attractions and we had to flag someone down to let us on the ride. There was money flying around the enclosed 3D rude hitting us in the head and the teenage attendant just laughed. I earned 25 cents when the spare change fell in my hair so I wasn't too bummed. Then we went to the paddle boats and that became the game ender because there was a gator in the water - not the fault of adventure island; of course. However, in light of recent events at Disney I did not feel safe putting my four year old on a paddle boat out there with a gator. Maybe I over-reacted but who wants to be that parent. I probably would bypass adventure island and stick to the beach next time around.

Great Day

By Brittney W |

We took our three elementary age children to Adventure Island for a fun vacation day. The prices were very reasonable and there was so much to do. We spent hours there. The paddle boat was awesome and a great way to cool off on a hot day. We got great pictures with the scenery on the mini golf course. We got there when they opened so it wasn't busy yet.

Fun place for the kids

By Charity C |

Fun place to go for a break from the beach. Very nice put put golf, games, and go karts. The kids and adults too really love it.

Family Fun!

By viola_567 |

Adventure Island was an okay visit. The facility could use a little updating. Tried the miniature golf course, but had an unfortunate experience with a snake (reason fro Poor rating) on the course. The arcade has plenty of fun games to play. We enjoyed the arcade better than the outdoor events.

We had a ball!

By Sarah T |

This place was adorable! We had so much fun! My husband and 3 year old rode the go carts. They have go carts for little ones too but she wasn't quit tall enough. So she rode with my husband on the adult track and had a blast! She and I rode the teacups and we both loved that. There were a few other rides to choose from for her age which was nice but we opted to play a few games inside and then mini golf. The mini golf was adorable. Really thoughtfully laid out and although my toddler wasn't really into the golf she still walking the course. There are tons of bridges, a couple of caves and an erupting volcano. We actually plan to visit here again before we leave.

Ok- the kids had fun.

By WTW1968 |

Adventure Island was good. It is your average family amusement place. We enjoyed the mini golf and the laser tag. The boys did the go carts and the girls (too short for go carts) did the arcade. The staff was friendly. Your wallet will take a hit, but the kids will enjoy it!

Always fun

By Robert C |

Great time as always. Seemed to have more machines in the arcade with issues taking money. And not working compared to past visits. Also had to walk back in to get some one to operate several of the attractions we bought tickets for.

Fun for the kids

By Stephanie M |

We had a great time with the kids and would go back and enjoy again! Cant wait to plan our next trip~!

We only did the mini golf - better than most

By stimpsonjcat67 |

Almost gets 4 stars, needs a little less flat boring astroturf to get another star.

Very clean and attractive courses, just bit too boring for 4 stars.

Adventure Island

By Judylynnhiggins |

Very pricey! There wasn't much for our teenagers to do. Only two people working the kiddy rides. Not worth it at all.

So much fun!

By Kacey H |

We dropped by Adventure Island one afternoon during our weekend trip and had the best time! We rode the go carts, which I haven't done in probably twenty years, played some arcade games which were surprisingly fun, and of course had to try out the mini-golf. Really nice place to play and let your inner kid have some fun.

It was a cloudy day, so we played miniature golf and inside video games. The facility was clean and the staff helpful and friendly.

Siblings birthday fun

By Nora H |

This is a great place for adults to have fun. Tuesdays seem to be a little slow which makes it the perfect day to visit. Go-Karts and laser-tag were my favorites.

Lot of Fun!

By csims2016 |

This is the perfect place to spend the evening, after the sun goes down! The go carts are fun and the laser tag is absolutely amazing!

Kids loved it!

By David C |

Allot of cool video games- go-karts are cool- laser tag was fun- some machines did not work, but its expected I guess. Hey, kiddos enjoyed it and collected over 2k tickets. LOL

Good course, and arcade!

By KaileeHP |

Lots of fun arcade games! The putt putt course was very good too. Our group of four adults enjoyed our round of putt putt golf and playing some arcade games. Plus, they do have food and drinks if you need a snack.

Spring Break 2018

By Hope K |

We enjoyed the putt putt golf here! It was so fun and easy to do. The course was enjoyable and the grounds were neatly kept up. Checkout was quick and easy also. Parking was not a problem. The park is centered around alot of shopping and across the street from the beach.

Anniversary

By jujuBx5+ |

My husband and I spent the evening playing putt putt. The course was really fun and interesting. This course was not all par 1, some par 2's and 3's, which made it really a fun time. They have concessions and other games a great place for a couple or a family.

A Fun Event After Dinner

By Global662400 |

This was something we did after dinner, to help walk off a meal. It was very clean and well taken care of. We saw several families there also. We plan to take our kids and grandkids there when we go down next June.

Good Time, Nice Course

By E G |

Well maintained, and fun mini-golf course. We only did the golf. Be sure to download the buy one get one coupon from their website. I paid $14 for all four to play before 4 PM. Well worth the deal.

Great place with young kids

By shaydel4kids |

My 6 year old daughter had a blast here! Great arcade, friendly staff, lots of outdoor activities including race cars, bumper boats, and putt putt golf. There is a Small area inside for snacks like hotdogs, pizza, and popcorn. The arcade had many games to choose from with good prizes to redeem your tickets with.

fun activities for the family

By jpaulgor |

My son and I went to Adventure island. We didn't do a whole lot because I am a cheap skate and didn't want to burn $100 at this place. It can easily be done if you are not careful.

For starters, lets talk about the arcade games. Pretty much every where you go these days has the same "arcade games". It is just a stupid machine you put your money in and it will give you tickets to trade for prizes. I hate these things with a passion. You can easily dump $50 bucks on these stupid things if you are not careful, and you will get enough tickets for some crap prize that cost $5 at any Walmart. Did I mention I hate these "arcades"? It isn't like the arcades I grew up in playing street fighter/mortal combat/killer instinct with people lining up their quarters on the machine to be next to play the winner. That is an arcade.

The only redeeming thing about the games situation is they do have 4 pinball machines in a corner. These are not played for tickets. These are played for street cred like the old days, and to get your initials on the high score list like the 1980's hair band boss that you are. Two of the machines were broke down, but I enjoyed the one that I played. It was a good price as well. It was 50 cents for one play instead of the $1.00-2.00 ticket machine BS to try and win 10 tickets. Did I mention I hate the money grabbing ticket machines?

So we spent just a little money on the games, won 9 tickets, and ultimately threw them away back at the hotel room.

We played mini golf as well. It was $7.50 per person for an 18 hole course. Seems like an okay deal until we saw a different place on the way out of town that had $5 per person for unlimited holes.

If we were to visit Orange Beach again it would be a toss up as to whether we came back to this place or not.

Variety of activities

By janscruggs |

If the sun gets too hot in the middle of the day and the kids get bored, this is a pretty good arcade. The Putt-Putt course is average.

Fun

By Traveler |

Whenever you choose to go, a fun time will be had by all. Something for all ages and skill levels. Great place to blow a little money and enjoy oneself.

Review

By Deloris P |

The golf course was nice but it was very crowded so that made it take a long time to get through the course we did not see any alagators like the signs said that we would.

Arcade visit

By Adam M |

Took our 11, 9, and 7 year old kids for their first arcade experience. Great variety of games. They had a blast.

Fun TIMES

By KErv82 |

Great place for some family fun, from miniature golf, paddle boats, go karts, and a ton of games. They have coupons online for buy one get one on certain activities.

Family fun

By 83bridgetw |

We've been coming here for years and always enjoy the mini golf. The courses are looking a little rough though. Some upkeep is in order. Some of the plants around the course were a little dry, some were even dead, some of the water features were empty, and the pop machines on the course dispensed hot canned drinks. Next year we'll probably try a different course.

Mini golf

By Cguidryrn |

Went on a late afternoon with my 15 year old. We played 2 rounds of mini golf and had a great time. The greens were in great shape, the music added to the fun. My only complaint is that the ledges intended to use for writing scores were awkwardly placed at the end of the hole instead of near the tee, and some of them were in need of repair. However the course themes were great and the running water throughout made for a great atmosphere.

A good variety of activities

By champguy1981 |

We spent about $10 in the arcade and then $20 for a go cart ride. The carts did not seem in the best of repair, very stiff in the suspension and steering, cars highly unequal as far as power. But the drive was still fun. The course is a good mix of straits and turns, along with an under/overpass. In the arcade, the games are either $0.50 or $1.00 per game, so our $10 didn't go too far. Still a fun place to spend an hour or two without breaking the bank.

Eh

By Marshalltrippin |

The gold was pretty fun however I wasn't a fan of the go karts. The go karts were really slow but my kids enjoys it. The people that work here are not very friendly, that was the worst part. Overall ok and I'm sure most kids would enjoy the place.

Fun for old kids

By Gary Hollingsworth |

My wife and I had real fun playing these old games. It brough back our younger days. We will definitely do it again. We really enjoyed it.

Putt Putt

By mckaya2018 |

They have two 18 hole courses. We had a lot of fun competing against each other. A great arcade inside with drinks, food and ice cream. Trade your tickets in for a prize.

Mosquito Lagoon

By Dana Croy |

Mosquito Sanctuary. We are in Orange Beach. We chose our condo in part to be near Adventure Island and a few other places so the teens with us could walk to have a little fun without the adults. Last night we did go as a family to play mini golf. Every single water feature was off. Not only were they off but it was obvious they had been for a long time. In the places where the waterfalls should flow, there were several pools of stagnant water. This was throughout the course. These pools were full of mosquitos due to the stagnation. It was unpleasant. Also, most mini golf with waterfalls have at least an artificial breeze created by the falls. The lack of these meant it was incredibly hot, even at 8pm. There is another golf nearby with working water features. Consider looking into that one instead.

Really fun

By fnett |

This was a fantastic place to do the kinds of things kids love: arcade, go-karts, bumper boats, lazer tag & more. My son loved climbing the palm trees. Staff was very friendly. The volcano was very cool, but does not erupt until night-time, after 7, i believe.

Expensive but clean and well run

By Lucyluvs2travel |

This is a better place for small kids rather than teenagers. As with any similar type of venue, it gets very pricey, very quick. We probably won't go back just because we were outside of the targeted age group.

Cool place

By Cat23roberts |

This was a great place to go with my two teenage boys. They were able to play laser tag, ride go-karts, and play putt-putt all for $21.50 each. Which I think is a decent price for three activities. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the go karts are kinda slow. Of course my boys are 17 and 18 so if your children are younger than that then it will be just fine for them. They also had plenty of other activities at the place but those were just the three things we chose to do. So basically it is very much so worth it to go especially for the price.

Great mini golf!

By Ashlee T |

We went to adventure islands on our visit to Orange Beach just to check it out, and we ended up having an awesome time! They offer two mini golf courses and you get to pick which on you go on for $7.50 a person. The course was a lot of fun and had super cool routes! Afterwards we went inside to play arcade games. The only complaint I have is there's token machine didn't take cards, ONLY CASH, so you have to pull money out of the ATM if you want to play. Overall fun experience and would recommend.

Lots of fun for all ages

By Ginger T |

Love this place, we come every year on our vacation. Tons of games for all ages. I will say the prizes the pretty good too. Love the mini golf, go carts and everything this place has to offer.

Family fun

By A J |

Although we had a nice time playing golf and the race cars, we we're a little at the amount of arcade games that were out of order. We will come back soon in June.

Fun time for the kids

By Melissa R |

This was a fun stop for the kids. We played the mini golf, and the children loved the course through the volcano.

Several things to do in one place

By Vacation_221 |

We purchased one round of golf, played games in the arcade and drove the go carts. It was nice that everything was in once place. The golf was nice. The arcade was as expected - the kids enjoyed the games but you don't get much with the tickets they earn - we expected that though. The go carts weren't super fast and the track wasn't wide enough to easily pass the person in front of you but I imagine they do that for safety reasons. Overall we had a nice time. If you are only going here for mini golf we did think the Pirate Golf in Gulf Shores had a nicer course and it provided more shade during the day.

Fun

By keshasmith15 |

Adventure Island was much more than I expected it to be. Their prices are very reasonable. My son really had a great time.

Mini Golf and Arcade Fun!

By jek19722018 |

We very much enjoyed the mini golf and arcade during our visit. They also have go-karts. We saw some games never seen before like a giant Pac-Man board. They also had some carnival style games like aiming a water gun at targets. And we loved the Star Wars pinball game. Mini golf was just what you would expect from a well maintained, clean business.

Fun Place

By Bonnie P |

We only rode the GoKarts outside, then went indoors to play on the Arcade machines. With 3 Children and 3 Adults, the outside activities were a little too much for our budgets. All in all we had a fun time.

My kids loved it...

By Kindel T |

It has a lot of newer arcade games. The place is well staffed. Any problem was taken care of very quickly. My two sons both hit jackpot on two different game and won a ton of tickets. The mini golf has two different courses to choose from. Both are well taken care of. Not run down at all. The go-karts seemed a little slow but fun.

Average, but we still return every trip

By 656kimberlyf |

We love playing mini golf at Adventure Island. We make it a point to return every time we visit Orange Beach. The arcade is decent, and the service is average for this type of place. We did not have the most enjoyable trip in the paddle boats as the pond was mostly gross. We still enjoy the mini golf so much that we will continue to return.

Had a blast

By imafoodlover67 |

There's SO much to do here! The arcade is great, there's a nice snack bar, a simulator, moving rock wall, putt putt through a volcano, bumper boats, go karts, laser tag, peddle boats...it's just a great place! The prices are average for the area and the prizes range from tiny and cheap to large and expensive. My son and I rode the peddle boats around their pond looking for the resident alligator and had a blast! It's not a bad price and you pay per boat which seats 4 not per person. You get a good long amount of time and it's quite a workout fun SO much fun!

Go carts

By caseyt93 |

Had a blast with two buddies from out of town. We were in for the weekend to pay at the beach, Looking for something fun to do. Must have been a slow day as we were the only three there.

Putt putt adventure!

By dazydi |

It was a fun place to play first putt putt in years. Challenging course, friendly staff, well maintained. I even shot a hole in one!

Fun!

By Beach girl |

Every visit to the beach, we have to go to Adventure Island. Our children love it. We have fun playing games too.

Lazy day fun for all

By Ward C |

Spent a lazy day afternoon here. Played a fun game of competitive putt putt and then moved into the game room. This place has a great variety of games to play. Much nicer than most, including larger facilities. Recommended for all ages.

great place for rainy day

By 2011-CO |

lots of fun things for big and little kids and those who are kids at heart...go-karts...arcade games...snacks...be prepared to spend some money

Good Place

By Darren H |

Adventure Island is basically your typical arcade. It does have some other activities. We almost always go there when we're in town.

Great value

By Littleft23 |

What a great place! Get there before 4pm and its BOGO on all rides. We rode the go carts and bumper boats. Bumper boats were great especially if your hot. Go carts were fun. This time of year there was noone but us and we had fun! Lots of games to play indoors as well. They have miniature gulf you can play too. Great place for the whole family

Nice place for younger children.

By Courtney N |

Rides for younger to middle age kids. Different sets of go-cart tracks for different levels of experience. Well distributed arcade. Great selection of carnival rides for smaller kids.

No bundle packages

By Mary L |

We play both rounds of golf and a round of go-carts. My thoughts is why not offer a bundle deal? I get it, you make more money on a la carte entertainment, but still....

Great Fun

By Angela J |

Good place to visit especially for tweens. Miniature golf on 2 courses along with great arcade games and go carts

Lots of fun for kids of all ages

By Cliff T |

Grandkids and parents enjoyed the numerous arcade games and roller coaster simulator. I enjoyed the bumper boats, miniature golf. and go carts.

The new place sucks

By Aaron G |

This place was a five star place. The new owners made it barely a two. No more quarters. Increased prices. I’m local and used to bring my family here about once a month. The cool 80’s vibe is gone after the new owners “Upgraded.” Sorry, we will not be back. Even my eight year old says he doesn’t want to go back anymore. We are hunting for a new place now. Sorry.

Go carts

By patmaxie |

While w ifith my 11 year old grandson riding go carts, 3 young men in there 20's also on the track. The 3 young men were playing around and bump each other which is against the rules. I stop in the middle of the track to complain about it to 2 employee that was running the ride. I told them that they keep running into my grandson, they did nothing. About 2 laps later they ran into my grandson and turn him all the way around and was not able to get his go cart running again. It also scared the hell out of my grandson. I complained to management again, still nothing, they did not care !!! Be careful letting young kids ride these go carts especially without family adult supervision.

Reasonable Prices, Lots of Fun

By The Wanderer |

My nephew and I went there to ride the go carts and found lots of fun. I enjoyed racing with him on the go cart track (fun) but I let him do laser tag without me. They have a good miniature golf course and of course an arcade to separate your money from your kids. It is a good place to kill a hot summer afternoon.

Fun for family

By Michael H |

Great place to take the kids. I know the owner and the integrity of the staff is above reproach. Lots of fun things to do, great way to spend an afternoon.

Fun!

By The2ofUsontheMove |

Enjoyed visit here, except for the slow go carts. Loved the put put course through the volcano. Courteous staff.

Small place with lots to do

By jamesviamom |

Nice idea for a rainy day or late afternoon after the beach. The usual mini golf/go carts and arcade set up. The photo booth and make your own cd were fun attractions

Great Family Time

By liltony5 |

We came here with my wife and two girls (ages 2 and 5), to have some fun as a break from playing on the beach. I bought the $100 package, which gave me $110 worth of credits. We decided to all ride the bumper boats and Go Karts, which took up a good chunk of our credits, but was really enjoyable. The bumper boats provided a nice cool off during the afternoon heat. We then went inside and played arcade games with the remainder of our credits. We all enjoyed the wide variety of games they had to offer. Most of the games were in working order, which was also a positive. In the end, our girls got some prizes they enjoyed with the tickets we earned. It was a fun way to kill a little over an hour. Pricey, but more fun than some of the other local places.

Would like to come back and try their putt putt sometime.

Henna Stand

By Aaron R |

Don’t waste your money on the henna stand in front of the entrance. Extremely disappointed - we spent an hour there for the lady to do my four children’s henna tattoos... we have waited the 2 hours she said to let it dry. There is no henna... there is only a cheap black marker line and no henna residual. Extremely, extremely furious for the waste of my families time and our money.

Fun place for kids and adults

By Tour609123 |

It rained most of our visit so this place was a go to for entertainment. Plan on spending money for the arcades put put and go carts.

Fun Time

By shirleysteel |

Fun time - great experience - great food - kids loved it - highly recommended. Drove all the way from Jacksonville, Florida. Worth the drive.

Great mini golf courses

By jtruebl00d |

We visited Adventure Island twice during our weeklong vacation and played both courses. Fun activity for all ages! The courses were very clean and well-kept. We didn’t do the arcade or go karts, but loved mini golf!

Go Karts and Paddle Boat Were Fun!

By KarenLynn_70810 |

We went on a Friday afternoon and had a great time! The go karts are great for the young ones around 8 years old who are too big for the kiddie cars (which are there). They can drive by themselves and they live it! You get about 4-5 laps that curve around a nice track. I think the bumpiness of the cars add to the fun of it!

We also rented a paddle boat. Because it on a bayou and natural habitat for alligators you might see one. One has been spotted earlier that day but for the 20 minutes or so that we were paddling around we did not. The boat holds four people -- two facing front who paddle -- and two facing the back who just ride. It was quiet on the paddle boat side so we weren't rushed to quickly come back in.

There is an arcade and mini golf and a teacup ride and other things to do but we didn't do any of those things. There's food and snack items.

Each attraction is priced and paid for separately. There is also a military discount on some attractions.

Fun for kids

By AmberM470 |

We took the kids for an evening of laser tag, mini golf, and go-karts. They loved it and it was a nice way to spend sometime together after dinner.

Wholesome Entertainment

By drdbradford |

Adventure Island was always a must-visit when our daughter and her friends visited the Gulf Shores/Orange beach area, as she was growing up. Now, when we visit the area with our granddaughter, it is one of her highlights, as well. We recently visited in August, 2016 and were delighted with the wholesome entertainment for all ages. My five year-old granddaughter was particularly thrilled by the go-carts and paddle boats. Frank (the owner) and his staff were hospitable and quite friendly.

If you have children or grandchildren, I encourage you to visit Adventure Island when you are in the Gulf Coast area.

Great Mini Golf Course Including going through a volcano

By clydesadie |

Mini Golf at Adventure Island in Orange Beach was a fun activity for our two grandchildren ages 7 and 6. The golf course had interesting "holes", including going into the volcano. The course was well cared for and exciting. Although Adventure Island had an arcade and rides, we opted for just the mini golf. We went to Adventure Island first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds and the extreme heat/humidity. With this in mind, we did not have to wait and sailed through the activity at our pace. It was a fun place for all.

Arcade made this a poor rating

By Jennifer Q |

Everything was going ok until every game we played didn't work. Had to get a game attendant each time and took at least 20 minutes for them to figure out the issue. So I would suggest doing everything but the arcade. Then two of the attendants were talking about my husband, which was complaining, in front of my son. That upset me. If you're going to be ignorant enough to talk about my husband who is complaining because EVERYTHING wasn't working, at least do it behind closed doors. I mean even the ticket machine broke on us. So yea we were a little upset.

Vac

By caroltcopes |

Beach version of Chuckie Cheese with outdoor rides. Bumper boats were fun. Go carts ok. Arcade like any other arcade. Fun for children 8 and under.

Not Great

By Kimmycluts |

Adventure Island has a really neat putt putt course, and in the past we've enjoyed it very much. On this night, it was just way too crowded. It was pure chaos. The desk clerks for the putt putt seemed to be confused, and didn't have an order in the way they helped people. You paid in one area, then went to another area to pick up your putter and ball-it was a bottlenecked mess. We walked around the corner after exiting the arcade, only to walk smack dab into a huge line, which was NOT moving. The mgr was kind enough to take pity on us, and offer a voucher for another day, as we just didn't have the time or want to wait. I felt sorry for the multitudes of suckers paying as we were exiting the arcade, they were clueless as to the extensive wait. Perhaps mgmt should consider limiting the number of people allowed on the putt putt course at once. It seems pretty dishonest to allow patrons to think they are going to play, when the line literally wraps around the bldg just to get ON the course!
We did have fun in the arcade, but many machines took our money. The Jurassic park game malfunctioned on the rt side, cutting out at the halfway mark of the player on the left side. The wheel of fortune game only gives out tickets 1-5 denominations, even if you roll a 20. We spent quite a lot of money, and it was not worth what we received. Walking through the arcade, we saw several patrons cashing in/receiving literally thousands of tickets, and that seemed very strange, as many games we played gave absolutely no tickets. If you go to Adventure Island, be prepared to spend a load of cash and to deal with disappointment.

Lots to do in one location!

By Cindy B |

This place had so much to entertain an entire family. Large arcade, miniature golf, go carts, rock climbing and snack bar! Very family friendly and appeared to be relatively new. All areas seemed very well kept. My 13 year old son LOVED this place.

Fun time

By Amy T |

Great place for kids and family... Our family loved the laser tag!! Arcade games were great for our 10 year old!!

Super Fun But a Little Pricey

By JDom1023 |

Our family had a great time playing miniature golf and riding go karts. Pricing was a little high but is to be expected in peak travel season. Would definitely go again.

Pricey but nice

By Santoya C |

Games were at least a buck each which kinda high. But attractions are quite reasonable. No kids went with but we had a great time.

Good experience

By sunshinesandy32 |

For $15. my 16 year old and I played one round of mini golf. They have two courses. We played lost lagoon and enjoyed the course. If in the area, we would do this again. We did not try the other activities such as go karts, arcade, bumper boats, lazer tag, and more!

Okay

By A H |

We played putt putt here only and weren't that thrilled. The course was very dirty, not well kept, and the fences with the "warning" for alligator signs were torn, damaged, and had large holes in a lot of the areas. Water was gross looking and just didn't see to be a putt putt place they took care of very well. We didn't try the go carts or the arcade or laser tag which looked better kept than the putt putt area.

Go Karts

By Gary M |

The volcano was awesome to see and the GoKarts were really good. Arcade was not the greatest but this is a very picturesque tourist spot.

Great for a rainy day

By Denise K |

This was a great choice for us when it was raining cats and dogs outside. Even though there were a lot of other people in there thinking the same thing, it wasn't too crowded. Might have had to wait a few minutes to play a certain game but we could always walk around and find another one to play. The only down side was that most of the games were ticket giving games and it seemed the ones my grandson chose always ran out and we had to find the only game attendant working to fix it. Of course the outside stuff putt putt and go carts weren't running due to the rain. But if it wasn't raining we would have been at the beach!!!

Family Fun

By Carrie |

We paid, got what we needed to play golf, walked outside and it started raining. We went inside to get a rain check and came back later that night. Our son loved the volcano that shot out fire. He especially loved that we got to walk through it. They must spray for bugs here because it is July and next to a swamp and none of us got bit by mosquitos. We also enjoyed the arcade. Due to staffing issues the only rides available that night were the race cars, which was a bummer because that excludes our 5 yr old. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Alabama for a visit.

Volcanoe Really Fires Off

By Dustin G |

Seemingly only on the weekends... the volcano has gas flames that shoot out, but it didn't do it on Tuesday or Wednesday. Good golf course, seemed like a clean, well kept facility. Had laser tag, go carts, mini golf, arcade, and maybe bumper boats... Pricing seemed within reason, will return.

So much fun. Did everything there

By Mark D |

Loved this place. No kids in our party. 7 adults doing go carts, laser tag, and golf. games are fun.

Beautiful Beach and Fun Family time

By Nikki |

Beautiful beach, family crowd. No rowdiness. Not overcrowded either. Stayed in a VRBO one block from beach access. Lots of fun things to do. Went to Adventure Island Arcade, mini golf and out to eat a few times. Restaurants were somewhat crowded but what you’d expect for the beach and seafood places for a wait time. I would definitely go back.

Great find for any pinball pinheads

By RY_In_GA |

Great pinball games. Still using quarters, so bring your own rolls so you don't have to get quarters from change machines.
There are 5 working pinball games, newer (to me) designs. 4 were $0.50 - Cue Ball Wizard, Monopoly (didn't play that one), Spider Man, Fun House, one was $1.00. - Star Wars

Kids loved it!

By Andria Z |

Great place for some indoor fun! We attempted to play miniature golf but it was too hot so we skipped a few holes and enjoyed some games inside. Kids had a blast! Only problem we had was one of the games took my daughter's money. She went and told them but they never came over to check it out. We ended up not worrying about it because we were finished anyways. Overall, great experience and highly recommended!

Amusement Park, Go-carts and mini golf

By okcoxg |

They had the routine machine games that you can play. There was a go-cart track and our grandkids did ride those but they were going pretty slow. There is another place in town that has better go-carts and a better track. The mini golf was fun. They had two courses and they were above average and kept in good condition. Overall I would say this is an okay place. It could be because of my age but the other place I was referring to was much better I thought. They bathrooms there were pretty bad. They need to check them more often or just do a better job of cleaning them. There is no reason for toilet paper to be all over the floor and the bathrooms just look dirty in general.

Great spot for down time from the beach

By HA1958 |

A great mix of arcade games inside and fun stuff outside. We have done the bumper cars and the mini golf. My kids have had a great time getting their pile of tickets to turn into prizes. Actually even the prizes where better than such places we have visited in touristy spots. I thought the cleanliness was good also. The location was good as you did not have to drive off the beach area. I did not want to waste vacation time driving inland for rainy day fun

Very nice staff, clean, awesome arcade!

By adamsj1031 |

We brought our 3 year old. He had a BLAST. There are like 4/5 rides he was able to do with Dad. The arcade is huge and has a variety of games. This is a great way to spend an afternoon.

.grand kids loved this place

By reubenmom |

Our grandsons had a great time here. The go carts were so much fun. Lots of things for kids to do. Easy to find and spend a lot of time having fun.

Took 5 Boys

By 52jennya |

Overall a fun place! The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 is because the lower level go carts are not worth the money and the bigger ones are not all working the same. It was hard to do a fair race with the different speeds the go carts would or would not go. Still fun but don't bother with the smaller ones.

Family outing

By wmcqueen |

We have been to this place a couple of times. Overall The place is good. Go carts, goofy golf and arcade fun! In the arcade some of the games are broken but that is to be expected. Staff is semi friendly and could be more helpful. Will we go back....yes!!

Always a fun time

By Todd P |

We played putt putt golf this time and rode the go carts. We had a blast riding the go carts and the putt putt was fun...not the great putt putt courses but they did the job. As always we played the indoor games. Bring plenty of money...you're going to need it.

Go Karts and Mini Golf

By Jay T |

Nice place to go to play mini golf or ride go karts. There are video games also. It seems to get very busy later at night after dinner. If you go a bit earlier it is not so slammed.

Fun Place for Kids

By lefitch013 |

Adventure Island is a great place to take kids when you need an off day from the beach. It's nothing special, but it is really fun. The go carts are our favorite!

Fun time!

By Margaretchaffin |

My husband and I enjoyed the mini golf course, the go-karts, and the arcade. We had a blast! Will definitely go back our next time in Orange Beach!

This place is awesome!!!! Mini golf, go karts, laser tag and arcade all in one. And the owner is one of the nicest guys you will meet. He really cares about the customers and that you have fun and a great experience while at his place.

Great Family Fun

By family778811 |

We always have to make a trip to play golf and hangout in the arcade to play some games even thought my kids are considerably older than when we first started going there. The place was clean, the service was okay and the golf area appears to be well maintained. Seems a little cheaper than some of the other putt putts in the area and close to where we were staying.

Spring Break Fun

By mjb282003 |

We went to Adventure Island during Spring Break and had a blast. There was a great selection of games. You have to buy tokens to play the games. The kids enjoyed playing the games and they liked the prizes they chose. It wasn't overcrowded so we didn't have to wait to play the games. All the games were working good. The kids enjoyed the Go-Karts! We had a great time. They had a huge volcano which we thought was cool, rides, and miniature golf. It seems like everyone was having a great time!

Adventure Island Fun

There is so much to do at Adventure Island. You could truly spend a whole day there! We had so much that we had to return the next day to have more fun! Everything was super clean and updated! We will be back soon!

Great Arcade. Go-carts need upgrade

By skibum54 |

The arcade is packed with great games. The games were also well maintained and in working order. People working there were friendly and accommodating. Only complaint was that the go-carts were not much fun. Everyone had to keep the pedal all the way down just to keep them running. No chance of anyone passing. So they just were not fun.

Say yes to mini golf

By Amanda |

Mini golf at Adventure Island is simply the best. I've been coming to Orange Beach for 25 years and this place has the very best mini golf course!

Fun

We played putt-putt and laser tag. It was a nice time away from the beach. We ran out of time to ride the go carts. That'll be on the agenda for the next trip.

Great for rainy day or night time

By Lindsey D |

We spent hours here one night after dinner. Had lots of fun playing mini golf and racing go karts. Then we played arcade games until we were ready for bed.

Putt putt

Nice place to bring the kids while at the beach. We played putt putt and they have two courses. It is well maintained with arcade games and go carts.

Nice place for a beach break

By Tammy M |

We went as a family with two teenagers, so not the target audience, but they wanted to do the glow golf, which was fun. The outdoor golf course was a little too warm, and at one point we saw a snake on the course, but that wasn't their fault. We had bought tickets to do a water bumper thing, but nobody was working there, so we skipped it. The go-carts were fun, however.

Local Favorite

Family fun for almost all ages and kiddfos. There are multiple rides and arcade for family entertainment.

Great for a beach day alternative

By Andreajane1973 |

Great variety of arcade type games, though as usual the prize tickets didn't count for much at the end of our visit. It kept our son entertained for an hour or so. The go carts were a bit of a rough ride and I am 5ft 1 and needed a booster cushion to reach the pedals! The roller coaster simulator was good even though the video was a cartoon type I still felt woozy when it was over.

Fun for all ages!

Went one night for mini golf which was nice. It wasn’t the best mini golf course I’ve ever seen but still pretty nice. Went back the next day for the arcade because it looked fun, and was very glad we did. I went for my four year old son but had as much fun at the arcade as he did. Games were nice and very similar to Dave and Busters, but much cheaper. Everything here was reasonably priced which was a nice change considering costs these days! Will definitely go back on our next visit. I’ve vacationed here for years and this was my first visit here.

We enjoyed the mini golf and go carts

By Jena N |

Well kept mini golf course, plus you get to walk through the volcano. We also went go carting. The prices were pretty similar to everywhere else we've done these activities and was affordable for a family.

fun time with family

lots of fun things to do for the whole family. You can enjoy the arcade, putt putt golf, go carts and more.

Lots of fun

Depending on what you do, Adventure Island can be expensive (expect to pay $1.00 per turn for most arcade games), but things are maintained well and everyone has a good time.

Just follow the advice of the signs. We saw a 6-ft alligator in the bayou next to the mini-golf course. (Don't worry, it's safe. This alligator would have needed to climb a 5ft wall and then scale a 4ft fence to reach guests.)

Something to do.

It was raining and cloudy in the am so we needed something besides beach. Stopped here to play mini golf.

Fun place

My grandkids love this place. A lot to do like bumper boats & an inside arcade. The putt putt golf is really fun & not expensive. They sometimes have coupons...check on line or in tourist coupon book you can get at gift shops or hotel lobbies. It’s well worth a visit here if you have kids.

Worth It Everytime

We go here every trip down and it really fun. Mini golf is always a favorite and the course is always clean. They have pretty fun games inside.

Famly Fun

My 4yr. old son had a blast! The young guy running the kiddie go carts and rides was very sweet and even allowed my son an extra time on the hopper! The putt putt course was great as well and we all loved the volcano!

Fun Time, but Difficult if Limited Mobility

By Richard W |

We played miniature golf and had a great time. There were tons of people there, but no one minded waiting. The only drawback is the accessibility. This place is not recommended if you or someone in your party has mobility issues. Our party has two people in medical boots due to foot injuries and one stroller. Both courses require you to walk stairs, and there is no way around them. The erupting volcano was fun and the courses were fairly well maintained.

Go Carts!!

By Anthony-Mary C |

They can have the arcade. I don't care a whit for Lazer Tag. But I'm a sucker for go carts. Adventure Island has a nice track, pretty nice carts and they let us race hard and have a nice long ride on my latest visit. Cost my daughter and I just $14 total for our turn at the track. Had a ball and I hope to race 'em again soon.

Teens loved the Go-karts

By John C |

Went over from our condo, which was across the street from Adventure Island. We went over to try the go-karts, this place is pretty fun, great place to spend some time and money. we enjoyed ourselves on the go-karts. The also have mini-golf, water bummer boats, laser tag, arcade and a coconut climb. A great place to come after the sun goes down and spend some time with the kids.

Fun with no sun

By Joe L |

We stopped in here with the grandkids and they had a blast.
Staff was friendly and the place was will kept.
The games they have are good for all ages young and old alike.
The mini golf was fun my grand daughter liked playing with the water in the holes more then hitting the golf ball.
Fun place.

Besides mini putt & arcade, not a great choice

By Rachael T |

We went mini putting which was fine however the kiddie go cart track is a joke & a rip off. So small, they did not have fun at all (ages 7 & 8). Even bumper boats area was tiny. The arcade was big but the younger staff were inattentive and seemed put off to help. Next time we will go to a different place.

Go Carts Little Ones Can Ride!

By daisyrach |

We have a 3 year old and we were looking forward to go carts. After looking at The Track online, the height limit for passengers was a little taller than he is. We decided to try Adventure Island and their go Carts allowed him to ride with Daddy. They had a blast!!! We also had a lot of fun in the arcade which still gives out tickets for prizes instead of points on a card. Tickets make it more fun. An older man with a teenager gave us all of their tickets so we came out with a decent prize. The mini golf looked fun with the Volcano lit up at night. Will have to try that next trip!

Go karts mini golf and games

By Haushold |

Always a stop for us - best value in town for mini golf and go karts. We went three times this trip.
