We enjoyed our visit. It isn't very big but it does have a ton of gators. There is a little show were you can pet/hold one and a snake and a lizard. There was not an alligator wrestling show (at least not that we were told) like many other places have. It was a good time and worth the visit (and you can come back again on the same ticket).

Alligators everywhere! But also a lot of other great animals. My three year old and 1 year old loved it. Fortunately, they got in for free. The price was a little high for adults. $53 for my husband and I.

We took our son, daughter in law and 9 yrs old Granddaughter. My husband did not want to go, but ended up really enjoying the entire place. Make sure to catch a show on the hour, at different locations. We watched the alligators getting fed and the reptile show. Both fun. Our favorite animals were the hyenas. They were so active and full of personality. This is a very well taken care of animal/birds/reptile, etc place to visit. All the staff members were nice and friendly. We all learned a lot about the different species.

Love the gators and crocs and other reptiles but we felt bad for some of the animals like the mountain lion that was just pacing back and forth in a smallish enclosure and the few monkeys in a dark area. It’s pricey too. I think the place should focus on the gators and snakes and move the other animals to a place they have more space.

I honestly was apprehensive about visiting, but had a really good time. We have a 2 yo daughter and didn't expect her to be interested in alligators, but she actually loved it. She even held a snake, an alligator, and touch many others! The live Alligator feeding was very informative, as well as the live interpretive show. I would suggest to go either early or late in the day, because air flow is limited and it was hot, especially for the littles. There were large fans and cooling shades placed around. There was also a lemonade/ snow cone stand was reasonably priced.

The kids liked it that is what counts. There are a few more animals other than alligators. The live feedings are educational. The animal show they have is inconsistent depending on who is doing it. One day we went the kids got to touch three animals while the second time we went, there was only two (a snake and alligator).
Overall, its a nice park. You do get the chance to come back to it for a second visit at no additional cost.
Oh and for you locals... they offer a local discount. Just be aware that they ask for the id's of the adults in your group. So don't try to purchase tickets using the local discount for your group!

Let me say, I don't think it is worth the price but I purchased an annual local membership. My wife is a member of duplin winery, so after I drop her off I go there for an hour or two and just wonder around. With my membership I get free popcorn and when I bring my 32oz cup I can refill it for a dollar and then buy a hotdog or pizza for a total of $4.00. I average 5-6 times a month

We had a great time visiting Alligator Adventures! It’s basically a mini zoo. The animals are well taken care of. The staff is extremely knowledgeable on each of the animals. We got to see the alligators get fed, which was really cool. We will definitely return when we are in the area again! This is great for kids or adults!

I have visited here a few times and always enjoy it. It's educational and fun at the same time. They have a building with just snakes too.

I'm so disappointed and hate to have to write a bad review but our experience was awful. Yes, it was hot but there was hardly anything to see. I traveled with my hubby and 4 young adults (20 - 27) and it was very boring. I feel like I threw $210 out the window. We visited here about 18 years ago and I remember it being different especially the reptile show. Here they only had 2 animals to discuss. Also, the mountain lion and hyena were not visible and as my daughter put it .. the wildlife walk should have been named "2 ostriches up ahead" .. that is all we saw. So, save your money and do something else. Sorry not sorry 🤷♀️

We had a great day at alligator adventure. I would suggest going in the cooler months rather than July august because of the heat intensity and would imagine It could smell a little swampy. But exhibits were clean, well kept & a fun couple of hours there for all ages !

Every year when my family goes to the beach this is the one place I visit every time. I jave probably been 20+ times. They have all kinds of reptiles, amphibians, birds and more. I would spend all day in the park but i isually get dragged out by other folks in my group after a couple hours. I highly recommend checking the feeding schedule and seeing one of the shows.

While vacationing at North Myrtle Beach my grandson and I usually go at least once to the Alligator Adventure Park. In addition to learning so much about alligators, we enjoy watching the animals and, this time, listening to the gators talking. But what impressed me most was their attitude toward the visitors to their park.
My grandson (he is 7) ran into a door and cut his lip. I took him to one of the picnic tables to wipe his mouth and see how bad the split was. Within seconds at least two employees were there to help. One went and got him a cold, wet paper towel and a small ice pack. When we left about an hour later and stopped to get our ticket stamped so we could come back for free the employee asked how my grandson was doing.

Our boys really enjoyed this place. They got 2 pet an alligator and a giant tortoise. Sadly they weren’t doing feedings yet so we missed that. Pay attention 2 the type of show we went to the 2pm show expecting to see gators n it was a snake n lizard. We had 2 wait til the 3pm show which was a gator show. There r tons of gators n other animals to see at the park n the staff was great.

My daughter wanted to come here. Awesome place, very informative. Definitely worth seeing. There are other animals besides alligators.

My family always loves this place! There are more than just alligators to see ... other animals too - Birds , turtles cats , and the reptile house is another favorite. So many beautiful snakes there! The alligator feedings are very cool and entertaining. The speakers are very knowledgeable, and you can tell they really love their jobs wrking with the animals and sharing facts about them. GREAT family outing! Is a DEFINITE !!!

Family was visiting from the West Coast and had never seen an alligator, so we went. Ages ranged from 10 yrs old to 60's, and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There were plenty of gators, large and small. We noticed workers wheeling a cart, and we stalked them to see if they were going to feed something. Yep! A huge owl ate three large rodents. I watched with horror and fascination. Tropical birds spoke to us, and the hyena's tried to pursue some children that were running nearby. Don't miss the anaconda in the reptile house. Just imagine life in the Amazon! Yikes! I felt the underside of a young alligator, and forgive me, but I wondered if that's the part they make boots out of. Some turtles were caught in the act of mating, afterwards the male ignored her attention and moved over near the other male turtles. What a playa! A good time was had by all.

Great little park, lots of room for the animals and lots to explore. Most enjoyable in the off season when it's not as hot and the park isn't as crowded.

Alligator Adventure is a wonderland little zoo with a ton of alligators and a monstrous croc named Utan. He is something to behold. My daughter is 10 and his head was bigger than her. It was particularly interesting when he climbed out of the water to get a much better look at her! There are 2 albino gators there too that literally look like they are made of butter. The show they put on with some of the smaller gators is very entertaining and the kids got to hold a baby gator. There is also a snake exhibit that is pretty extensive and the people are very friendly. We also received a 2nd day free with our admission. All in all, a pretty great value.

amaze balls. AMAZE BALLS! i really thought this place was going to be cheesy but it turned out to be such a legit animal park! I have to say $25 per adult seemed expensive to me but it was worth it in the end. 3 and under is free. i think the adults in our group had more fun than the kids!
There are crocodiles EVERYWHERE - its amazing. The reptile show is great for the kids, they get to touch a turtle, a snake, and a baby alligator. make sure you sit in the first two rows of the bleachers to be able to do this. the trainer hangs back a bit afterwards so you can have more time with the animals.
The feeding shows are equally as amazing. make sure you attend the shows to learn more about the animals.
The reptile house with snakes, frogs, etc was probably the best I’ve been to. Note that Ive been to a lot of zoos and it was incredible the variety of reptiles under their care - some I’d never seen before. they also have two albina crocs. I mean, so cool!
There were lots of exotic birds and even some galapagos turtles!
Dont forget to get a $20 professional picture with a baby alligator or baby python or both! can have as many people in the pic as possible. choice of 1 print or email to as many emails as you want.
2nd day is free as long as you validate when you exit on the first date. you have to show your ID’s so it’s pretty strict and regulated. we came back the 2nd day just to watch Utan (main attraction - a huge huge huge crocodile) get fed and it was worth it. this thing is rare - a hybrid of a siamese croc and something else and is still growing!
went in July - super hot. bring a hat and a fan; you wont regret it!!!! 80% of the park is outdoors so be prepared. there are plenty of fans all over the park, so there is some relief here and there.
FINALLY, there is a winery literally outside the back exit. you can get a free wristband from the sales box and do a 10-wine tasting at the Duplin Winery (comes with a free wine glass and coaster!). This was the cherry on top for visiting Alligator Adventures.

We saw some good exhibits and enjoyed seeing some of the animals.
Although well set up, this was a total tourist trap. Don’t get me wrong, I try to stop at one of these every trip. You never know when you’ll find a hidden gem. Other reviews made this sound like it was worth the stop. It was not.
This staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds were clean. The animals were well fed. Some of the water tanks needed some algae cleaning.

My second time going while visiting Myrtle! We are from VA, so alligators are not something we see often! It’s interesting to speak with the staff, they are extremely knowledgeable with all the reptiles within the exhibit. If you go you have to see Tommy, he is a marvel. I enjoyed the reptile show and they also do a feeding where the alligators jump out of the water! Overall it’s a great experience to view the wildlife.

We visited Alligator Adventure for what I thought would be a 1-2 hour period. The wife and the kiddo liked it so much we ended up staying over 4 hours.
The exhibits were small but nice / interesting, the feeding was fun, and we really enjoyed just about all of it.
Food was a bit on the expensive side for what we received but thats kind of par-for-the-course while at a beach attraction.
We will be coming here again I am sure.

Overall fun place to visit, but definitely pricey! We even got the military discount and i still found it pricey. I hate that they closed off the connection to barefoot. Lots of gators. They only feed them during peak season. That was a bummer.

We originally planned to visit the Ripley’s aquarium during our vacation at Myrtle Beach but ultimately decided to visit Alligator Adventures instead. We definitely made the right decision. We arrived after the last alligator feeding but still got to see the reptile show. I was surprised at all the other animals at AA like mountain lions, bob cats, hyenas, macaws, owls, and entire buildings of snakes, lizards, and frogs. I wish we’d have arrived earlier to spend more time learning about all the fascinating animals. My favorite part was the macaws. They were so fun to talk to.

It's a great experience.
The animals look mostly healthy there may be some who are older & not as healthy as younger ones. Or those who have an issue & can't be in the wild.
A good amount to see. Opportunities for shows.
In summer it's very hot in Myrtle so be aware most of this is outside.
If you're a local, over 62 or military or ex military ask for the discount. You will have to show proof.
Children 3 & under are free.

Let me first say this was better than I expected. The property is much larger than expected when looking from the outside. The price of admission was a little shocking, it cost more to get in here than my local zoo which is one of the biggest and most prestigious in the nation. That aside, my zoo doesn’t have a zillion different gators, nor is it in South Carolina when I’m on vacation, so we went ahead and checked this out.
Now the nice thing is you can get your ticket validated and come back for a repeat trip on a different day of the week however you probably won’t need to do that unless you’re completely infatuated with reptiles. It takes a while to go through this place and if you try really hard you could spend 2-3 hours in here. I’m thinking we spent about an hour and half going through everything.
The things that I liked the most were seeing the largest gator in North America, that thing weighed almost as much as a car! The gator feeding show that we got to see & learn a bit about the gators was cool and then the house that contained all the snakes. Let me tell you, I’ve never seen so many snakes in my whole life! Probably close to 50 different kinds and many of them VERY deadly venomous snakes. That was pretty cool. Puff Adders and King Cobras to name a few.
All in all it’s worth a trip to at least do it once. Not likely that I’ll make another trip back.

My grandson was excited to see the alligators. There were a few other animals but he was focused on the alligators. He loved the albino alligator. The place was a bit small but great for kids.

This place is great for all ages. The attraction is clean, educational, and staff is friendly. The prices tend to be a little pricey but the children love it and super close to great food and additional entertainment at Barefoot Landing

Great visit with my son on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Great staff, good experience. Good encounters with a variety of animals.

We came to the Alligator Adventure today and we were pleasantly surprised. There were so many animals!!! We really enjoyed the views and the fact that all the animals appeared happy, healthy and alert. Some animal zoos I have been too the animals look sad or never get up, but here all the animals were waiting to see everyone. I especially loved the bobcats!!!

This place was so cool. The alligator feeding exhibits were the best. It was also interesting that they have other animals there other than the alligators. Utan is a must see! He's HUGE!!!

It doesn’t look that big from the outside. But the inside is huge! Very clean and an overall fun experience. Would definitely recommend!

It's a bit pricey, but you can come back the second day for free. It's worth the money. The feedings are really cool and the kids loved this place.

My kids are reptile freaks. They love this place! We came right after they fed the snakes and got to see several of them eating in their enclosures. They have great shows with the alligator handlers. We came in the winter so they're not as active, but it's still cool to explore. Seeing Utan, king of the crocs, is super cool. Try to come on a day when he's being fed because if he hides in the water, you may not see him at all. They have a 2nd day free within the next 7 policy too. We stayed for a bit and returned on another day to see more gators.

This plaxe is awesome. It was crowded, cause a school was there also, but still amazing. We petted a rainbow boa named juliet and a skink named spiral. Saw some huge gators and some tiny ones. Loved every minute of it..

This place is neat, there are a ton of alligators & the staff was friendly. However, it is very overpriced in my opinion & they don’t offer any discounts (other than a small one for seniors) nor do they have any coupons (according to my research & the lady who works the ticket counter). Depending on your family & their interests, this may be a place to visit once. Otherwise I’d say skip it & find a zoo instead.

We took our 2 grandsons to this; they've been here before years ago. It will take up your full morning. I suggest going at 9 AM when they open, because it was hot, hot, hot. (We went in June). However, they have huge fans all around the park to keep you cool and places to get food and drinks. The alligators were wonderful, they also have tigers, kyinahs, parrots, birds, a snake building, and shows for the kids. We got a picture of our grandkids holding a small alligator for $20. (His mouth was taped shut.) You can get an 8 x 10 picture or you can get the photo sent to your email- so you can make and send multiple pictures when you get home. It was very hot since most of the park is open, so dress in cool clothing and wear your hair up. Parking is free. They give discounts for seniors and children 12 and under.

This was our favorite stop in Myrtle Beach! It was crowded, but we had no issues getting up close to see what we wanted. Seeing all the gators and other animals up close was so neat. We learned a lot and the kids were absolutely fascinated. Staff was great and the show we watched was awesome - touching and holding the little gator was so cool!

The vast and wide variety of animals and the ability to have up close encounters and to learn from the staff. Our grand children especially enjoyed the feeding time.

This was our last stop on a road trip and it was raining. The staff was friendly and helpful and the animals were varied and the facility was clean. Super fun, a great activity!

We just happened to find this place & loved it! It was our favorite activity in Myrtle Beach. Due to Covid we couldn’t hold any animals but it was still incredible. The feeding show was awesome & informative. While it was a vacation for the parents our kids would have loved it as well.

My girlfriend and I went here. It was absolutely lovely. Even though it was chilly and the animals weren’t all that active, we had so much fun. We don’t normally like zoos but this place definitely cares for their animals and the workers go above and beyond. We got to speak to an animal staff member names Kalli and she was so cool. She talked to us about the animals and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We ended by chance. We talked about coming here earlier in the week but we're informed not all exhibits were open. But a failed attempt to go drift fishing landed us here. Glad it did it was a nice time and it appeared all exhibitset were open. The different variety of Crocs and alligators and other animals was really cool saw some things I had never seen before even watched them feed the alligators. Good way to spend a couple of hours. Plus it was hot but they had several cooling fans around the park. Plus areas of inside exhibits offered cool places to go and chill. I recommend going.

Really really loved visiting this attraction. The animals we saw were not only lots and lots of alligators - big and small!!! - but also crocodiles ( including the Giant UTAN!) but also snakes, lemurs, frogs, turtles, caimans, birds --- it was a very fun day --- although very very hot!!! Bring water! They do have nice big fans to cool you down here and there but there is little shade if you wait to see the alligator feeding show. I always like to visit zoos during our various trips and this is probably the nicest alligator attraction I have ever been to. We were all adults but kids we saw there seemed to really like it. It was a bit expensive admission and no coupons ( although there is a senior discount) -- but it is a good contribution to the upkeep of this very nice zoo. It is on the edge of Barefoot Landing - another nice area to check out - a lot of good restaurants there and a winery as well close by.

We have a 6 year old and 3 year old, they absolutely loved this place and were even able to pet an alligator! I would recommend this to any age. I would say easily 100+ alligators of all different sizes and species also including an albino alligator to one entirely without a tail, which I had no idea was a very common birth defect for that species.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem while waiting for Barefoot Landing to open. They have a great selection of reptiles and assorted animals. Grounds are beautifully maintained and the animals appear to be well tended. It’s an easy walk around the park (wheelchair and stroller friendly) with bathrooms at the beginning and middle. The live animal show was entertaining as well as educational. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

The staff was very friendly. It was interesting but for $89 (3 adults), I was not overly impressed. Yes they had several alligators and crocodiles as well as other animals. Maybe it was because of Covid-19 or the time of day we went but there wasn’t much interaction with the animals. I guess I just expected more. I doubt I would do it again and I wouldn’t recommend.

Whenever w go to Myrtle Beach we always go to the Alligator Adventure. There are a lot of alligator and watching them being fed is exciting. They have a large display of all kinds of snakes and other reptiles. If that's not your forte, there is a nice display of birds to enjoy. Make sure you go to the reptile show at the back of the park if you want to pet a snake or alligator or turtle.

This place was recommended by friends and it didn't disappoint! This is was much more then alligators. There were birds, snakes, sloths, monkeys. We stayed to watch them feed the gators, giant gators were jumping out of the water to catch a tasty treat!

Have been to the adventure several times. Lots of gators to see as well as other reptiles. Feeding time is interesting to watch.

Lots of animals to see, and informative shows. We have been to several zoos, and still took close to 3 hours to explore everything by here.

This place is awful... the cages are tiny and there are way to many animals in each tiny enclosure. If you love animals don’t go here it’s completely un humane all the animals look miserable. Please I beg it of you DONT GO! 😭

Was really excited about visiting here but my whole family left disappointed. The “shows” weren’t really shows. The reptile show was just a woman showing and talking about a snake and a baby alligator for 20 minutes. The alligator feeding was even boring. You stand on a pier and watch a guy toss out some chicken. Not really a “show” Wish we had spent our time and money doing something else

Great reptile and creature show for the kids with the alligator and snakes too. Grab a coupon somewhere and go.

Really great place with a sh+t ton of gators! Staff was nice. Managed my kiddos well. Gift shop even was well done. Certainly worth a family visit!

This place is awesome. Granted it is expensive, but it’s going to a good place. They treat their animals well and keep them healthy. There are tons of gators, crocodiles, and other reptiles in all shapes and sizes. There are also plentiful of mammals to see. Food and snacks aren’t jacked up in prices like other places like this. This is a must visit in Myrtle beach.

We did this adventure the same day as the aquarium . The kids enjoyed this better. We saw all kinds of reptiles, birds, and primates. My favorite were the finger monkeys and the macaws. The macaws talk which was adorable. We went on a rainy day & be aware that there is a bunch of outdoor walking. But they had a bunch of covered areas. They also have various shows that you can watch, and can pet reptiles. They do have concession areas. I bought 4 hotdogs & 3 bags of chips for $15. They have extensive gift store. Kids really enjoyed this place!

I visit alligator adventures every year I come to N Myrtle, I love the huge amount of gators they have and feeding time is really cool! I also like all the other animals they have. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and the come back free feature rocks!!

My daughter and great niece are huge animal lovers so we decided to surprise them by taking them to alligator adventure, it definitely was worth it!! The alligator show and feeding was great! They even got to hold a baby alligator!! There were so many different animals to see, cool shops and yummy food. It was worth every penny!

Our Children liked the animals . The park would be more interesting with additional wildlife and more info about the animals . The care of the park and animal exhibits was average.

We always stop at Alligator Adventure when in Myrtle Beach. Although somewhat pricey, you can come back on a second day for free and they offer a military discount for active duty and veterans. It's bigger than it looks from the outside and there's lots to see. Educational as well.

Visited here with kids and grandparents. We all really enjoyed our trip! There are so many alligators and different animals that we don't have at our zoo. The alligator feeding was awesome and the kids enjoyed the animal show. They got to pet a turtle, snake and small alligator. Admission is pretty pricey, but I feel like most places on vacation are expensive. You can get your ticket validated to return for the next day and you can get a free tasting at winery next door. Good experience overall!

A must see at least once, there are unusual alligators, go early before it gets hot & crowded. Good for smaller kids, teens were a little bored.

Not sure what I expected, but this place was worth going to. Really cool animals and they all were not lethargic like you see at many zoo type facilities. Many were up and moving around and fun to watch. It was a clean facility and much bigger inside than I would have ever thought. We have a condo in the area and we will definitely be back when visitors come in.

My family loved this adventure the staff was very knowledgeable and welcomed any questions a couple 8 year olds had. My granddaughter collects bird feathers one of the zoo keepers was kind enough to go to the animal hospital and came back with 5 different feathers and finally went into the Flamingo exhibit and got her 3 beautiful feathers. I recommend this adventure as a great experience you dont want to miss.

Took my 11-year old grandson and had an enjoyable time. Lots of alligators as well as snakes, reptiles, lemurs, llamas, turtles. He loves snakes and was disappointed he didn’t get to hold one.

I went here 4/17/19 and the staff was not very nice. The lady at the ticket window was not very nice. The guy giving a the show seemed unpleasant and a girl holding a bird seemed very unsociable when I aksed about the bird.
A bit expensive I thought, $75 for two adults and 1 child.
Other than that, the animals were great.

I went there a little hesitant to spend $$$$ to see alligators. It was well worth every dollar! So interesting and entertaining. The staff was so nice and happily answered all my questions. Plenty of habitats to see! Plenty of gators 🐊🐍 and more. Then after we were all done seeing a few reptiles that made us all fear our next nights sleep...... we had a free wine tasting right next door! Definitely recommend this adventure for all ages!

Very good place to visit plenty to see took a three hour tour snakes, alligators, crocs, mountain lion ,

After coming to North Myrtle Beach for several years, we decided to go to Alligator Adventure. We are in our late 60’s and had no children with us, just two old folks looking for something new to do. It might not be as much fun on a sunny hot day, but it was overcast and perfect for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Although surprised at the admission cost, at the end of the day we both definitely think it was worth it. Very educational and great photo ops. Lots of animals, not just gators... beautiful Macaws, lemurs, hyenas, lizards, crocodiles, and more. The shows were scheduled throughout the day, so there was always something to see.

This was a great place for all ages! My husband and I went with three children (12,10 and 2) and my parents. We all had a blast. The kids loved watching them feed the alligators and seeing all the different animals. We will definitely be going back! And an added bonus they had VERY CLEAN restrooms! Great experience!

Nice place to see a lot of alligators and their relatives. We saw how one alligator eats another one. Not a nice view, but quite unusual experience. A lot of turtles and lizards. Not cheap, but something to see for 1-1.5 hours. Feeding show was about nothing...

If u love wildlife this is the place to be its very kid friendly so many beautiful animals my excitement was when I seen their hyenas

We took our family kids ages 8yrs. 9yrs. 12yrs. 16yrs. We spent about 4 hours there. It was fantastic. Exhibits were great. Informative, well taken care of, a huge selection of reptiles and other animals. I would definitely recommend this place for adults and all ages children.

Kids loved it. Live feeding and reptile show while we were there. During the show everyone got to touch an alligator, snake, and turtle. They have multiple cooling stations within the park. Would recommend to anyone. Only thing I would change is adding more covered areas. Super hot on the afternoon we went. Might be better in the morning to avoid the sun.

Husband enjoyed so much we returned with my MIL who equally enjoyed it. Must stop regardless of your age. Lots of gators and more!

Very clean, animals well cared for, friendly staff. Great drink deal. Loved the animal encounter and the feedings

We had a wonderful time here. My grand children had so much fun. Loved it so much we are going to visit again next vacation. Highly recommend for all ages.

The kids walked around and had a blast. We even bought some things in the gift shop that were priced affordable. Only thing I’d suggest is more variety of drinks and food within the park.

Very cool to see all the alligators and the other animals. Easy to maneuver and you will definitely see gators! We got to see the feeding and it was awesome

My adult daughter and I visited the zoo and it was ok. There were a few school trips and the kids seemed to really be enjoying it. We didn't spend more than an hour and 1/2 because it isn't that big. We liked seeing all the animals though. I think it's a good place for kids.

Amazing exhibit! Over 1,500 alligators in addition to many other snakes, reptiles, etc. I do not normally make a comment like this about these type of places … but clearly, these animals are well taken care of and living their best life.
A Must See for any reptile lover! Amazing.

So much more fun and bigger than I thought it would be. They have shows for alligator feedings and information shows which were amazing, they allowed you to feel some of the animals during the shows if you sent in the first couple of rows. Opportunity to take a photo with a baby alligator. Definitely entertaining for families and people of all ages.

A lot of great animals that can be seen in under an hour - so kids should stay entertained. There are also various educational shows with live animals - again, kids get to touch some of these animals.

Alligator Adventure is a neat place. They have more than alligators. They have birds and snakes. The Alligators are of all sizes and some extremely large. Largest I ever saw for sure. Check out the schedule as there are viewing of feedings- its neat! They also have a hands on show. You can touch the baby alligators and snakes etc. You can get a photo with an small alligator at the gift shop. It is right at Barefoot landing so you can leave (walk over) and come back. It is a great day thing to do. Duplin winery is also next door and you can get a free wine tasting wristband while inside the Alligator Adventure (Duplin is closed on Sunday though). You also can return one time free within 7 days. Ask for details when buy ticket. Locals get a discount- so ask and also check Groupon or Living Social because sometimes they have deals too. So all you have to do now is go and have fun. Lots of good shops and food at Barefoot Landing as well as some entertainment. Great day trip for all ages.

Very good, good value! One thing though. We thought the entrance was by dicks's. we met 2 other groups (complete strangers) that thought the same thing. This entrance was closed , no signs, no employees, and we all thought it was closed. Fortunately for the establishment, we drove north and found the REAL main entrance and went in. Use the main entrance at the main intersection on rt 17, there is a traffic light.

This place was amazing! I've never seen so many alligators and crocodiles. The feeding was so cool to watch. Also watched the trainers catching the alligator babies in the pool with their bare hands! We learned a lot and had so much fun. It's well worth the price of admission. I'd go back for sure. So many cool animals. We saw an ostrich rolling an egg!

We have visited alligator adventure for many years. It is our favorite stop during vacation. The facility is always clean and staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is a nice and well-kept place. The animals looked healthy. The only problem I had is that we finished The entire tour in less than two hours. Not a lot to see after you watch the two shows and look at all the animals. Need some more activities and or things to do. Too much money for that little of time.

I've never seen so many gators in one place!! Feeding time was awesome. There's also the huge crocodile...Wow!!

Great place to take family and guests, especially children. Went last summer and was amazed at what all you can see - more than just alligators! Nicely laid-out walk ways, can view everything at your own pace; very educational, good show.

For you people from up north, If you want to see a couple gators go to a golf course. If you want to see a couple dozen gators take a boat ride down the waterway, But if you want to see a couple hundred gators of all shapes sizes and species go here. Did I mention the snakes, iguanas and tortoises and the worlds largest croc.

We have been here before, but returning and seeing it again was really cool! It’s a zoo like setting but the primary focus is reptiles and alligators/crocodiles which is interesting. It is right next to an outdoor shopping center called Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach. The entire park is built on a wooden boardwalk over top of the water enclosures the animals are in. They have educational shows and an alligator feeding every afternoon that it pretty cool to witness. My only complaint is the admission- it has gone way up since the last time we were here and personally I think it’s too much. $25 per person is very high to me- the park isn’t that big. Even the first time we came we weren’t here for more than 2 hours. It was a nice stop but for that price I wouldn’t go again. Overall a cool place if money doesn’t bother you!

We had a great time here. Lots of alligators to see and lots of info. Got to see feedings and a short show. Employees are all well trained and knowledgeable. Lots of dumb parents letting their kids run free and putting them on their shoulders which is clearly stated is not allowed. Would return.

We enjoyed the whole experience, the staff were were very friendly and helpful. I felt the animals were well looked after

What a great find! This is was by far the most educational and enriching activity we did with our 5 and 11 year old boys. They both said it was the highlight of the whole trip. It took us about 3 hours to get through, the boys watched the gator feeding and the wildlife show where they got to touch a small gator and Sam (who was doing the shows) even took a picture with the boys and the gator. The entire place is VERY clean from the paths to the bathrooms. Snack bar is minimal but inexpensive, my youngest was ecstatic to have a corn dog.

Just amazing! Great seeing the animals and reptiles. Would recommend a stop here. Plenty of other stuff to do in the area also.

Went with wife and 2 boys ages 5 and 3. Loved it lots of gators and a few other animals. Interactive shows kids get to touch snakes and gators. We easily spent 4 hours there. They also allow you to come back the next day for free if you validate on your way out. Staff were awesome. Would definitely go back if in the area. Top notch place and easily accessible surprisingly right off one of the main strips...

We were looking for something to do on our last day and decided that we would give Alligator Adventure a try. I was alittle hesitant since from the outside the place looks pretty small and for the price I didnt think it would be worth it. It is alittle expensive but everything at the beach is. We all enjoyed it and we are glad we went. Even starting planning another trip, one where we could take advantage of being able to return for a second day for free (within 7 days).
There was a lot more animals there then I realized. We went early before it got too hot and the crowd was low. The kids really enjoyed it, especially the show where they got to touch a gator. I was amazed at the number of gators there. The live feeding was fun to see, some of those guys are pretty big!
We will be back at some point.

The crocodiles and alligators , tortoise and macaw are cool . We felt the show was lame ! For paying 50 bucks a couple it was a total rip off . There’s only about an hour to walk around and tour. For the price , I want to see at least 5 hours worth of stuff . Not an hour ! We don’t drink and I’m sure their free winery , maybe then would the price be worth it but for us it was a huge waste . Yes , you can come back free the next day but who wants to when you’ve seen everything ? And know there’s not a lot for spending an hour there ? I guess if you love to drink it may be worth it to go if you like to drink .

Pretty park. There are A LOT of alligators, some crocodiles, and many other creatures. We particularly like the serpentarium.

We had a great time at Alligator Adventure even though it was cold. Some of the usual activities were not going, i.e. alligator feeding as it was just too cold for them and they were pretty lethargic. We still got to see a lot and took in two of the shows where we learned a lot about them and a special highlight was actually being able to touch and hold a smaller one. One suggestion was to be sure and check their open days and hours. Our first trip we did not and they were close so had to go back. A fun place to visit. An extra bonus was a bracelet that got us into the winery next door and taste testing.

More than alligators, there's lots of different reptiles and other animals. Take your time going through the displays because you can get through the whole experience in under an hour. Plan your visit around the feedings and shows to add to the experience. Of course there's the optional photo op holding a baby alligator. The grandkids loved it!

Headed to Myrtle Beach to see a dinner show and went early to visit Alligator Adventure. Basically this is a ZOO with many many alligators and crocodiles. Including a tailless one, albino one and a huge one. All inhabitants seemed to be well taken care of and the park was clean. It also has a nice collection of reptiles...snakes, turtles, tortises, a few exotic birds, hyeenas, bobcat and lemurs. The landscapping is nice with easy to walk paths. They have fans to help with the heat and in summer I bet this is very important! There are numerous feedings durring the course of the day as well as talks given by staff. The staff was very knowledgable and gave a lot of information. There is a snack stand where you can get the basics...popcorn, pretzels, drinks, hot dogs etc. and a shady place to sit. Two restrooms one in front the other in back. Nice souvenier shop and second day is free so if our staying over you could come back. There is a military discount.
Highlights:
* I have never seen a hyena so close, there was a pair of them and they were playful and fun to watch. I have always reguarded them as scary and well, ugly. But now I have a new respect and see the beauty in them.
* It was very relaxing and because oit was early in the spring no crowds!
* the feeding were something to watch

We spent a few hours and were very impressed. We enjoyed strolling around and watching all the alligators.

We stopped as we were looking for something to do. I will admit it was fun and informative to learn about some of the local wildlife down here. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for some to do!

This was a very quick activity with the family. There are lots of alligators, several crocodiles, turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards, monkeys, and even a couple of hyenas. We felt that it was a little over priced for what it was but it was still fun! My kids had a blast!

We've been going to Myrtle Beach for many years and had never done this attraction. We were so pleasantly surprised to find an island of animals right next to Barefoot Landing. I believe at the time of our visit they had 750 gators, as well as birds, monkeys, snakes, and even a sloth. The kids loved it, especially Utan, the largest alligator in the US and perhaps the world. There is also an albino alligator. The gift shop had some very reasonably priced souvenirs.

We went to Alligator Adventure because we read in a review that we could hold a baby alligator. Our 11 yr old was determined to hold one. The shows were very informative and only long enough to keep everyone’s attention. The exhibits were spaced perfectly apart so it was enjoyable to get from one to another. We found the staff to be knowledgeable and courteous. They were also more then willing to engage with us when we had questions. We would definitely recommend this for all ages!

A truly enjoyable day, yes day. It was packed with learning , amazing animals and great sun tan opportunities. I recommend it to anyone wanting to see something than golf ball.

We go here every year. Its a great place to visit and the staff is always outstanding, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Took the family and grandkids to Alligator Adventure and it was lots of fun. They have a number of exhibits besides alligators so there is something for everyone. We enjoyed the owl with a full wing span of almost 6 feet. Make sure you stay to see the feeding of the alligators it is lots of fun and very interesting. By the way, you get free entry to the winery also at the same location. Good deal for military discount and better discount for locals.

Nice place to visit especially if you have kids. Lots of gators to see and the feeding was cool, however if you have kids get to the feeding spot ahead of feeding time so they can be in the front. Some hands on experience with touching some animals if you want. Big gift shop. Nice place and can even get your ticket stamped to return another day for free within 7 days of you first visit.

We went on an extremely hot day thankfully they have huge fans throughout. This is an exciting place for kids. You can touch alligators, snakes and lizards. Alligator feedings were exciting. My negative thoughts are way too many gators for the enclosures. Lots of small gators for showing. I'm not sure why they have so many that look healthy and should be in the wild. Looks like a sorry life for a gator. Bob the gator with no tail is understandable why he is kept captive although his pond was really small. A good place for kids who just like seeing wild animals but for adults who care about letting animals live free...not so much. For the price they charge it could use some needed upgrades.

I went to Alligator Adventure for my granddaughter who loves animals and I think I had as much fun as she did. So many animals to see and they were all out when we were there. It is a well kept park and the animals looked well cared for. We will be back!

i took my nephew here when he just turned 3! He loves alligators and he was soo excited to see the different kinds of alligators and animals to see! He even go to touch a baby alligator.

The alligator park was amazing. The two live shows were so interesting.A lot of well kept animals to see.I highly recommend it

We happened to go to this attraction on a whim. Good value for ticket cost and the animals seem well cared for.

This is a great place for the whole family. Good prices and the experience is unforgettable. The people are very knowledgeable and you even get to touch a baby gator! I recommend this to everyone

I was amazed how many alligators we got to see. Little alligator 3-4 year old to huge ones. They have crocodiles, ostriches, bobcats, tortoises, hyenas, lemurs, snakes, iguanas… we really enjoyed it . We definitely recommend coming here.

This was our favorite part of our vacation! We liked all the exhibits, but meeting the Galapagos tortoises has been on my bucket list since I was a kid!! That's not even the best part though!! They are so use to humans that they will actually come over to you at the fence and let you PET THEM!! I spent a good 15 min petting them when we first saw them. Then I convinced my hubby to go by there again before we left and I spent another 15-20 min with them. Honestly, I could have stayed there forever though. Ps..they love neck rubs

I took my daughter’s family with two teenagers. The adults seemed to enjoy it more than the teens, but as small children 13 years ago they were fascinated. You know teenagers! There didn’t seem to be as many alligators as in years past, but there are still a ton of them. The alligator feeding is probably the most exhilarating feature in the park. Amazing how they come straight up out of the water for a bite of chicken by the animal experts! I’ll probably go again in a few years.

We went to Alligator Adventure and saw many alligators. Also saw many birds and monkeys that where very interesting. We saw the white alligators and stayed for feeding time. Also saw many snakes and got to pet an baby alligator.

Nice place , well taken care of. Only complaint would be that the bobcats need a bigger area to roam. Otherwise there are a lot of gators, snakes , birds and other interesting creatures. Enjoyed our visit

This was really neat to see, but I would not have paid so much money to see alligators laying around. I’m glad they offered a free 2nd time to return within one week, but I do not believe we will be going back even for free. The “shows” were not that impressive for my husband and I, so we didn’t stay for more than two hours. There were a lot of little kids there that seemed to enjoy it. It was a good educational experience for youngsters under 12. They have different feeding shows scheduled from 9:30, 11, 12, and into the afternoon. They get very busy in the afternoons (including two or three busses filled with students from schools taking a field trip) and it was extremely hot, so we left. We did not take any pictures.

Took my 4 and 7 year old and we had a great time! Wow so many alligators it was awesome. So much to see more than I expected to be honest as well. Family friendly. We spend about 2 hours there. They also have a snack station that has reasonable prices as well.

We visited primarily because our grandson wanted to go and it was something different. I always figured it would be kind of hokey. But I was wrong. There’s much more to it than appears from the road. There’s plenty of gators of course but also an impressive assortment of snakes, amphibians, and other animals. Not something I’d want to do on a regular basis though.

Visited this place while on vacation. Amazing place! Saw many alligators, tropical birds, turtles ect. We were there for several hours. When we exited to our vehicle in the parking lot we were asked by a group just parking if it was worth it to go in. Advised them definitely worth going in to visit. Great place for kids and adults to see some amazing animals.

We are traveling with 2 13 year olds and an infant and were looking for something fun to do. This place was perfect. Tons to see very educational and much larger than it appears from the road. The staff were very nice and put on a couple of great shows to inform you about what you were observing. We were also impressed by the amount of exhibits they offered and variety of animals. We all felt it was a great value and something we would recommend other family’s visit.

they are Alligators, they don't do anything, they feed them and honestly that's the only event to watch...just an overall waste of money I think....

One of my favorite places to visit in Myrtlebeach. Lots of alligators to see. They have crocodiles, snakes, and various other animals to see. They have a show for the people where they learn about the animals and reptiles. Holding the baby alligator is recommended as well.

Alligator Adventure was well worth the price of admission! We attended one of the live feedings, which was very informative, and spent about an hour and a half walking around the park. Lots of different animals to see, not just crocodiles and alligators. If you get a chance, go.

My family enjoyed this place very much! It was small enough to not be a huge amount of walking but had a good amount of animals including many kinds of alligators but also birds, reptiles, lemurs, and hyenas. We did this after visiting Riddles Escape Room- which is located about 3 or 4 miles away.

My son can't stop talking about this place. It was such a nice place. There was so many alligators. Being from indiana we never see anything like this. Also your next visit is free after your admission.

Took our 2 young grandsons and they absolutely loved it! We have been several times and we always enjoy going!

It was very interestng - LOTS of alligators and Crocodiles - Utah - the largest in the USA was something to see - he is HUGE - it was very HOT that day so not alot of movement by the animals

I am just a crazy gator lady (really, I love all crocodilians and all lizards wholeheartedly) so it was a fantastic place for me. Actually fairly small and quick, you can cover it all in about 2 hours, but I enjoyed it a lot. I did see a lot of wild gators at a nature preserve earlier that week, but it was good too see some interesting rare crocodiles I have never seen in real life before.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but the kids and I went and had a nice time. Be forewarned it can be hot. The most fun was feeding time, and well worth the wait. I had no idea alligators could jump out of the water like that.

We visited with our 5 year old. It is a little pricey, but it’s big and lots of gators! There are other animals too and a huge gift shop. I’m glad we decided to go here!

This was an excellent experience. I took my family, including 2 boys, 11 and 13. This place must have over 300 alligators. Plus they have a large selection of other interesting animals and reptiles. I'd definitely recommend this as a great outing that the whole family will enjoy. There's a gift store there, and they are close to Blueberry Grille for a super lunch!

I actually think I had more fun than my boyfriend at this park. It was amazing to see so many alligators, and other reptilians. Of course the stars of the show was Utan, and being able to take a picture with a baby alligator!

Alligator feeding. The whole visit was wild. My wife can't wait for an excuse to go back. Nice size park. They have crocs and gators from different countries. They have other animals too. I think we spent about 3 hrs here.

We are so happy we chose this place. It's well mapped, clean, boardwalk that's easy to walk on,great exhibits well cared for. It's very colorful, fun jungle music playing.we saw 3 events,2 were feeding g the gators, and one showing off some of the reptiles to get your picture with. We loved the gift shop, since we found alot of fun stuff and things we were looking for. No junk.quality stuff.Staff was very friendly.

Was the experience good? Yes and no, but to spend $100 bucks for a family of four to be semi-entertained for an hour or so is a bit expensive. Sadly the price was the same in winter as it is in summer. Many things were closed and they were in a rush to put all the animals away when it were getting close to closing time . If we had known that we could have visited another day. That was a huge disappointment since we paid to ebter but they had more concerns on closing up early.

Thought it was expensive but pretty cool kids all wanted to see alligator so bad and it definitely satisfies that. The alligator feeding was cool.

It's mostly self-guided and and they have a couple of events they call shows. You might have sticker shock until you realize they have over 750 alligators and other animals there to take care of (mountain lions, snakes, birds). We went with our adult children. We enjoyed it overall. Younger kids seemed to enjoy it more. Rain gear is recommended for any visit to North Myrtle Beach.

This place has some great potential. Not that it wasn't that great. I thought it was well organized, they have a decent amount of specials with great viewing areas & enclosures. It might have been that it was a little cold and overcast when we went that made it seem a little dreary. It was also about an hour from closing, so a lot of the shows were finished (not their fault). The walkways are all wood...they are a bit weathered. Perhaps it gives it a sort of rundown look. Regardless, I still thought it was a decent attraction and would be excellent for kids. They do a show-and-tell type show throughout the day and you can touch the smaller alligators while you get some great info on their lifestyle, etc. and they let you take pics with them.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming and you can tell they are invested in the animals. They have A LOT of gators!
There was plenty of parking, the gift shop was pretty decent. Overall I would recommend this, especially if you have kids or you are curious about gators. We took our time and I think we spent about an hour or so. If we had arrived earlier, we probably would have taken advantage of feedings and other shows.

What a fun time! We stopped in on a whim and what a sweet surprise for my birthday. There were many animals and species and exhibits to see as well as an alligator handling show. We would definitely recommend this for couples or families or even someone looking for a little solo adventure. Whitney was very pleasant at the front window as well as Garrett , our adventure tour guide! We will definitely return!

Loved this place. 800 alligators, including an albino one, one born without a tail, and the largest in captivity. We got to observe feeding time while learning about these beautiful creatures. Couldn't believe it wasn't crowded and we felt safe the whole time. Several places to rest and get a snack inside as well as a gift shop.

It felt like a complete zoo, even though is focused on Alligators. Worth the time. Highly recommended.

For 2 adults and 2 children it is $90.00 to enter the park. The park in total takes about 2 hours to walk through. Show we’re short and the animals grounds were not very clean. The catch is you can come back the next day for free. There is no need to go back again!

We’ve wanted to come here for the past couple of years while on vacation, and we decided that our boys were old enough now. It is expensive. It’s a little over $90 for 2 adults and 2 kids (4-12 age range) but you can definitely get your money worth. You get free access to the winery next door, and you can get your tickets “punched” for a second day, free. There is an expiration date, but it’s awhile out.
There are so many different species of alligators, the one employee during a feeding show, said they had somewhere between 600-700 alligators on site! It was so neat to see all the different ones, and all the other animals that were on site as well; some that I had never seen before. They had flamingos, Kookaburras, macaws, squirrel monkeys, to lemurs and a two toed sloth( which was sleeping the three times we checked.)
We even got to see an albino alligator, so neat and different!
We sat for one of the reptile shows were you got to touch a rainbow boa, a pancake tortoise, and a little alligator. For an additional fee, you could get your picture taken with a snake or an alligator as well. It was well priced, $20 per photo with options for email and additional prints I believe.
Our family spent about 2 hours walking through, reading and seeing all of the animals. Our youngest even asked to return another day, and we may!
It was something different and educational to do. There is so much more to alligator adventure than just alligators!

It was amazing. I didnt realize there were so many species of alligators. The kids loved it! We will definitely do it again the next time we go to Myrtle Beach.

If you like reptiles you will enjoy this place lots of great and knowledgeable staff great shows you get to see them feeding the gators it’s amazing how hi they can jump out of the water for food a must see for reptile lovers

We had a fun time with 3 kids (9,9,4) but if you go on a sunny day it is hot as can be. The park itself was kinda of cool with tons of gators and some other reptiles all around. We witnessed a feeding, which was kinda of a let down after going to gatorland in Orlando a couple years ago and watching a show type feeding that the kids enjoyed much more. All in all it was fun and informative just wish it could have been a little more entertaining for the little ones.

The place has hundreds of gators and many other animals. The giant tortoises were pretty cool. The park seems well maintained.

Probably the best zoo I’ve went to in a while.
For a family of three it’s $100, but it has one of the biggest snake exhibits I’ve ever seen. It also has giant gators (and lots of them) and a Mountain Lion as well. Multiple shows during the day. I’d definitely visit again.

While not the largest alligator exhibit we have been to, this is still a very nice place to spend time while in the area. Lots of different animals to view, small and large. All seem to be well cared for and enjoying their time at the Adventure. Feeding time is always fun, they have then in several areas at varied times. We arrived a little late the first day and did not see everything we wanted to so if you validate your receipt before leaving you are allowed in again for free!!!! Very nice touch that we took advantage of and glad we did. The next day we were a little more relaxed and saw more.
Enjoyed the visit, thanks!

It was just sad to see all the animals in such small enclosures. The largest alligator had the smallest living space. They animals just look sad. I wish I wouldn’t have gone. This place needs shut down and animals let back in the wild.

3 generations had a great time at this place and learned new things even though we live in gator country. There were snakes also. In fact more than what is at zoos we have visited. A sloth, bobcat, so many other animals. We were pleasantly surprised. Kids and adults alike were fascinated also by the gator feeding. Amazing

Located right off of the main road. Wayyy too expensive for the experience (just shy of $200 for 5 people). Self-guided walk through. Attractions were cool, but needed signage at the exhibits explaining what you were seeing. For example, there was one HUGE gater that we spent quite a lot of time admiring, but we had to GUESS at his entire story (what was his name? Approx how old is he? When does he eat? Is it even a male?). They had a QR code to scan for a map of the place. They need a QR code at each exhibit so visitors can learn more.
-We went on a HOT August day. The concession stand was located in a great place and the prices were very reasonable.
They have several live animal shows throughout the day that are interesting. You can touch a gator if you're brave enough.
Because of the extreme heat, we decided to cut our visit short and get those "next day free" passes I keep hearing about. Well, they DO NOT offer those anymore. I wish I would have known earlier because I would have visited at another time.
-There are other animals here besides gators such as ostriches, rams, lemurs, serpents, a hyena, turtles, various birds, etc.
- we come to Myrtle quite often, so I was looking for things we hadn't done yet which is why I visited. It WAS an interesting outing for the day, but they need more info about each exhibit and they need to bring back that next day free pass which would help justify the high entry fee.

My wife and I saw all sorts of cool animals. The albino alligator is super dope. They have shows all the time. The lemurs were the best.

Tons of alligators to see... plus a reptiles, turtles, tortoises, birds, lemurs, bobcats.
Cool to watch feeding of the gators and "UTAN" one of the biggest crocs you'll ever see. At 56 yrs old, this beast is still growing!
You also get a 2nd day free if you have your ID validated and keep the receipt.
For icing on the cake, you can go to a 10 glass wine tasting tour next door at Duplin Winery that includes a free wine glass and coaster. Check with the cashier on the way out and they'll give you a wrist band for the winery.

Really liked this place. It was very calm and relaxing. Got to see them feed the alligators. Would recommend this place to anyone who has kids that enjoys animals. They have a little bit of everything. You

My nephews love this place. It's a nice little zoo focused on alligators and reptiles. On a nice day, it's a good way for a family to spend some time here.

This is a nice place to go. They feed the alligators and tell you about their habits. While we were there and they were feeding the alligators a great blue heron flew in to observe. We were all surprised when the alligator missed the chicken and the great blue heron took it away! They also have lemurs, flamingos, hyena, bobcat and parrots. The bathrooms are clean. Great place to go for a change of scenery!

This was an add on last min to our trip but well worth it, the kids loved watching the feeding and they got to hold a baby gator

My two boys (10 & 7) are obsessed with lizards and snakes. We decided to try this place despite living near the (free) National Zoo. It did not disappoint. We got there a little before 6pm which seemed perfect because we were able to do the show and alligator feeding without too many other people around. My boys got to touch a corn snake and a juvenile alligator as part of the wildlife show. They loved seeing all of the different kinds of alligators and crocodiles. Though my oldest could identify most snakes by sight, he was so excited with how many different species they have. Almost every species could be seen in each exhibit and it seemed the alligators were living their best lives. We all really enjoyed it.

We have visited in the past, but it has been about six years since we last saw what Alligator Adventure has to offer. Now, we are parents to 2.5 year old twins, so it is always interesting to see things through their eyes. They LOVED it. We got there right when it opened and stayed for a couple hours. I recommend taking advantage of the shows to get your money's worth, as the place is not huge. However, there is a variety of animals to see. We enjoyed both the alligator feeding and the reptile show. My 2.5 year olds touched a snake and an alligator during the reptile show. After the reptile show, the zookeeper allowed the kids to hold an alligator. My twins thought it was one of the best things ever! The zookeeper was very friendly and great with little ones. The live feeding is amazing and incredible. We brought in snacks and drinks to save money, but they do have some food items and drinks for sale. They did give us passes to return another day, which I believe is standard. We did not take advantage of this offer, but it was a good deal. With the location right next to Barefoot landing, you can park at Barefoot and walk over and grab some good or do some shopping after your visit.

This was our second time at Alligator Adventure...as good as last year. No feeding demos; too soon ( still too cool). But very informative Alligator demo/lesson. Expensive, but well worth it.
Jake the staff member was very patient with questions and comments.

The kids had a blast seeing all the gators and the feeding time show. I would recommend this for all visits.

We almost turned around when we saw the price - $32.99 for some roadside attraction? However, we decided to go ahead and we were not disappointed. It was much better than it looked from outside. A lot of animals in nice settings with a lot of information about them. However, the best part were the two young women who did the shows - very informative and great with the audience.

My family and I had a great time. Lots to see but July is Hot hot hot. Staff was very friendly and informative. The kids had a great time and really enjoyed all of the hands on activities.

A visit here is very informative especialy if you have children. In fact, even adults will learn things about alligators that surprises them.

The toddlers and adults alike in our group enjoyed this attraction. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and, other than the beach, this was our favorite place to visit during this visit. Recommended, especially for travelers with children.

Fun place to visit. Not only alligators live here but so do lemurs, a kookaburra, Red macaws, blue macaws, lots of turtles, snakes, owls and flamingoes. They also have a couple of albino alligators. Will definitely come back.

Nice place to visit. Plenty of chances to interact with staff and animals. Educational and fun. You can return for a second day if you bring your receipt and ID. We always have a nice time.

My dad and I got here a little after 10:30am. They offer senior and military discounts. Alligator Adventure is 15 acres and offers over 200 species of animals. We started with the cassowary and black and white ruffled lemurs first. Then it was the ring tailed lemurs and red reffuled lemurs. As we were walking up, we caught the tail end of a lecture about the lemurs. We saw the macaws, kookaburras, Chinese alligators, bobcats, and the galagos/aldabra tortoises next. We then stopped to see Utan “King of Crocs”. He’s considered to be the largest crocodile on exhibit in the United States. He’s a hybrid between a salt water and siamese crocodile, weighs 2000 lbs and is over 18 feet in length. We caught the small feeding show next. It was standing only and completely in the sun. The feeding offered information about the alligators and lasted about 5-10 minutes. I felt sick during the show and had to leave before it ended. I ended up getting sick and sat down near the concession stand. I got a gatorade to help get electrolytes back in my body. My dad said the concession stand was reasonably priced. I felt a little better and we decided to stay and wait at the amphitheater for the alligator handling and lecture. There were plenty of seats and lots of shade. The seats are bleacher style. An employee came out and showed us a snake first. Those who wanted to touch its skin could touch it. She told us some information about snakes and put it away. Next, she walked into the hoard of smaller alligators and managed to pick one out. Tape went around its mouth to ensure it wouldn’t bite. It could still breathe and see. She went around with the alligator, allowing people to touch its back and told us facts about them. The show lasted about 10-15 minutes. You could go up and ask her questions, take pictures, etc. She also encouraged everyone to wash their hands. There were purell stations throughout. We went into the serpentarium next. That’s where all the snakes were. My mom definitely would have stayed out of there! We saw chilean flamingos and the hyenas next. The the duck pond and macaws. We went into the albino alligator building. They were neat! Next door was a koi pond with a ton of fish. Croc Cove features various kinds of crocodiles. There’s even an animal hospital. We made our way down to the main pool for another feeding show. Part of the walkway was covered, the other part was not. There were no seats. The feeding show lasted about 10-15 minutes and again, we were given information about the alligators. Our last stop was the gift shop. The t-shirts were reasonably priced. There were shirts, hats, stuffed animals, books, games, puzzles, and more.
Overall, we stayed about 3 hours. We hadn’t been there for at least 10 years. We had a great time. All the employees were encountered were friendly.

Never seen so many alligators in my life! Kids really enjoyed it but go when the weather is very warm that way the gators are more active. We went on Spring Break and the large ones were kind of lazy.

We enjoyed an afternoon there...they have a ton of gators and other reptiles/wildlife. They weren’t feeding and not moving much since it’s the end of winter and they’re still dormant, but it would be cool to see when they do in the warmer months. Our kids really enjoyed the gator and reptile shows which were very interactive and informative. They loved holding the baby gator and a snake and they gave us lots of time to pose for photos since it wasn’t very crowded. Easy place to navigate and you can easily do it in half a day. You also get the second day free so it’s good value.

We enjoyed this outing. Large collection of animals and the park workers were very friendly and helpful.

I have a hard time evaluating this place. On one hand, I am glad of the educational opportunity providing the different kinds of alligators and other wild life (ostrich, flamingos, huge turtles, monkeys, owls, etc), but on the other hand, I am sad to see so many alligators in so little space. Of mind is "Bob." Bob is an alligator born without a tail. While she would have certainly died in the wild, she lives here. But live? She sits in a "tub" that is about twice her size. Does she get to move around? Not much I expect. To see the alligators that are limited to such a small space is sad. The density of alligator to land/water space is disturbingly high. On the other hand, I appreciate the effort to educate. Maybe it just doesn't have to be at the animal's well being?

My husband and I went to Alligator Adventure during our recent trip to North Myrtle Beach. We both love animals. I love watching the alligators laze around in their habitat, especially when they are piled up against one another. It was great to see all the other species of animals they had as well.
I was sad to see that the crocodiles didn't have near as much room in their enclosures as the alligators did. All in all the animals looked well cared for.

We visited Alligator Adventure on a very hot day in May. We were a bit taken aback to discover it's located right in the heart of North Myrtle Beach. They have quite the collection of alligators and crocodiles and several other animals, but all in all, it was an expensive tourist trap. The animal show was very lame. Only two animals were discussed. Most of the showtime was taken up with the speaker walking around letting people touch the animals. The alligator feeding was not much either. A few pieces of chicken were tossed out and the gators jumped up to eat it. The grounds were clean and well laid out, but some of the enclosures were lacking. I left the place feeling sorry for several of the animals who live there. In particular, Bob, the gator born without a tail, and Casper, the albino alligator. Neither of them have much of a life because they're tucked away in small enclosures where they really can't do anything except sit there and be stared at by tourists. Heartbreaking in my personal opinion. I would not return there, but others might love it.

A little pricey for the amount of animals you'll see but it is Myrtle Beach; you do get a free 2nd day with the receipt. Great variety of reptiles, serpents, and other animals. Feeding shows and questions with the keepers. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some of the animals have smaller exhibits; the Bobcats were in a small cage compared to other zoos.

Not too many people there but was a good learning experience and the staff was great. Saw a mountain lion informational talk and a reptile informational. Zookeepers we’re all friendly and treated the animals like family. So many alligators! Was a great day for a nice walk and you really do get up close and personal, so I think the price was fair…Loved Rosco !

Great place to visit. Lots of alligators. The shows are great. It gets hot there during the summer. Wear sunscreen!

It cost $91 for two adults and two elementary aged children, but someone has to pay for all of that chicken the gators eat. I have never seen so many crocks in one place. Hundreds. They had gators too, like a bunch of different species, included the rarest in the world. They also have the largest crock in captivity in the US and it is big. We watched a feeding and it was super cool. Very educational. They a bunch of other animals too, like snakes, frogs, Bobcats, hyenas, fish, ducks, tortoises, lizards, birds, etc. You can also go back for free on another day once you pay once.

As far as alligators and other reptiles, fantastic. Other animals not very good conditions. Bob cats pacing in small area. Also Hyenas, a little bit bigger area but still they didn't seem to have much to engage them.

One of our favorite attractions in Myrtle Beach area. We've been there several times, kids never get tired to go there again and again. Great adventure for the whole family.

I find this one of the more interesting places to visit in the Myrtle Beach area. Essentially, it's a zoo. The animals are rare and the site isn't "touristy". Highly recommend especially for families with children.

Went here with my Wife for Valentine’s Day and we had a blast we have been here multiple times and always enjoyed it so much, great shows, cheap food and animals are always healthy and active!!

So much to see besides alligators and crocs. Wooden boardwalks for easy access with mobility scooter. Fairly priced.

The animals are all in their native habitats. It is interesting and just plain fun all through the park. There is a person who tells about the alligators and lets you touch a little one...mouth is taped for this, but mostly all are just free in their habitat. There is another place where the alligators are fed. It is very clean and pleasant as you walk around the park.

Great time with the family. Since they have more than just alligators and crocodiles it gave the whole family something to be interested in. Staff was very welcoming and informative. Snack bar prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who wanted to burn a few hours of the day, and they did give us a discount for being a veteran.

Had a great time with my husband and 11 month old. Definitely try to catch a feeding, it was a very cool experience. We also sat for the reptile show and it was a great way to cool off! Only bad part was that due to it being mostly outdoors it was very hot with little relief from the sun.

We have gone to many animal/gator oriented places and this one is a pass for us. I do have to start with the fact that it was 95 degrees and the air was not moving which could have contributed to the lack of movement from the animals. The place is located basically within a shopping center. The lady at the ticket counter was friendly. There are concrete walking paths throughout as well as some reptile buildings. They do have a gigantic croc there so there's that. All of the enclosures were small and dirty. The reptile buildings smelled awful. There was a sloth in one of the buildings and I felt absolutely awful for him. He was in such a small dirty enclosure and looked so sad, as if he was trying to tell me something, Ive never seen a sloth so active before and by nature they are lazy so this was concerning. But if you are there simply to see gators and crocs, they do have an abundant amount of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place and I would highly recommend it to animal lovers and anyone who wants a relaxing afternoon at Myrtle Beach. The exhibits were well maintained and it wasn't so crowded that I couldn't enjoy the experience to the fullest. The live shows really enhance the time you spend there and you can tell the workers care about their job. I have been to many zoos all over the country and there were still a few animals I had not seen before. Also walking along the nature walk is just like seeing alligators in their natural habitat. Also if you like wine, they even have a wine tasting included in the price of admission. My boyfriend and I had an excellent experience at the winery after our trip there. I highly recommend a visit to Alligator Adventure and then Duplin Winery afterwards.

I visited here 13 years prior on a family vacation. I wanted now to bring my daughter to see the alligators and other animals. It was a lot bigger then I remember, unless they have added over the years. It was hot out that day and it was nice ducking into the different aquarium and vivarium rooms to get some A/C and shade. The snakes, frogs and lizards are always fun to look at. The alligators are awesome, so many different types and so many of the them. Definitely need to see the feeding times, that's way cool. You can spend about 3 hours there, that felt right and was able to see everything. you can stay longer if you are following the event schedule. They have cold drinks for purchase and also offer a second day pass for free on the way out. Parking was easy and it was not to crowded on a Friday. I think school was still in session for the students around the area. Very neat place, clean and well organized.

An awesome experience e for all ages! Able to see alligators, crocodiles, birds, and other animals up close! The feeding shows and educational shows were really informative, fun to watch, and exciting! Beautiful place to visit and awesome to see so many animals up close!

The place is catered to help the reptiles and other species kept on premises .
It’s very nice to stroll through the nature and get a glimpse of the well kept living species on premises .
Good for all ages .

I was not expecting this place to be as cool as it was. We went with 4 children under 6 and we ALL had a wonderful time. Highly recommend stopping here. Didn’t have a zoo vibe at all, the animals were all very well fed and seemed to have excellent care.
We got to see a gator feeding, we met a friendly talking bird named Olivia, a sweet sloth, were blown away by the snakes, and even got to enjoy some ice cream (just a few of my favorites). They also had a deal we could come back the second day for free, which is so worth it. If we were in myrtle beach longer we would have been back for sure.

I feel almost ashamed to admit that I was on the property here. The animals look like browbeaten prisoners, slaves, so depressed they'd prefer death. All for tourists
to gawk at them and take selfies. Big cats in tiny pens, alligators in spaces so small they're literally piled up on top of each other. A baby alligator being passed around like the wonder ball. This is one of the worst zoos I've ever seen! I got in on a comp. I would never pay one cent of my hard earned money to support this den of inequity. It's hell on earth for these poor animals.

We had a great time at this adventure park! Despite the rainy weather it was a great time for all. The Grands loved the hands on activity.

Our large group had plenty of space and we were all able to see the exhibits. We really enjoyed the ability to get so close to the animals, especially the tortoises!

My son loved looking at all the animals. More than just alligators. He was telling us at lunch at about “Yuuge” the really big one was. Pretty funny. We enjoyed it.

My wife and I went with our son and his wife and our 19 month old grandson. Our first interaction was at the ticket counter. The lady inside was very terse and all she was interested in was if you were a local and to show your license immediately!! My son and his family were locals and my wife and I live in Beaufort county which didn't make us locals even though we reside in South Carolina. We did get a senior discount but our initial reaction was all about the money and it cost 60.00 for 2 seniors including taxes!! We did enter the park to an exhibit with over 100 alligators around a pond laying on top of one another, and swimming with each other. Very interesting but it seemed like too many alligators. We watched a showing where a female worker actually catches a baby alligator to show and educate the crowd. Our grandson loved to touch and hug the baby alligator. There also were infant alligators, and a cobra to touch. We watched as ther fed the alligators and that was very nice. There is an albino (white) large alligator which we have never seen or heard of before. There are hyenas, 3 ostriches, large turtles, birds, reptiles and amphibians also and made the day very enjoyable. It was over 95 degrees with a heat index of 105 degrees, so it got very hot, but there are numerous fans, and food and drinks available. Overall, it was a fun 3 hours and our grandson loved it, so we were thrilled that he had fun and we got some great pictures of him with his parents. We probably won't return because it was great to see all the animals, but we felt the price was very steep and there were too many alligator mouths to feed, that probably justified the expensive cost of admission.

The is a large variety of animals to see. We have gone twice. The park is open. Rain or shine. It is an easy stroll. Fun for all ages.

We had a great visit at the alligator adventure. The shows were pretty informative. We have teenagers but they had fun walking around taking silly photos with the animals. The zoo was a bit pricey In my opinion but with the admission you could go back a second day. The albino alligators were pretty neat and we had no idea that the number one birth defect for alligators was being born without a tail. This place would be perfect for smaller children. The zoo was clean and there was a little place midway to buy snacks if required.

Although the name say Alligator Adventure there is more than just alligators. The shows were informative. Everything as accessible, don't skip the frog and lizard building. Skip the snack shop, although we were there off season the food wasn't that good.

My toddler son loved it! One of the best things we did in Myrtle! Well worth the money! Will be visiting next year for sure! We also had a handicapped family member with us. The place is wheelchair accessible and staff accomadating!

Alligator adventures was really fun and the shows were really fun you got to touch alligators snakes and tourteses be careful on the path there there are alligators and snakes

It was a great family experience and quite educational! I highly recommend it. Even my adult children enjoyed it.

Located directly behind Duplin Winery. Prices are reasonable and don't worry if you miss anything because the second day is FREE, also look for discounts to the Adventure in your Myrtle Beach brochures.. This place has a variety of animals. and don't miss the feeding of the Alligators. It's not to be missed. It also has an Albino Alligator. If you like to get close up pictures then this is the place to go.

Was enjoyable and easy to get around. The exhibits were nice to look at and all the animals looked healthy.

We were looking for something different to do and decided to give it a try, not a bad choice we had fun very interesting to see the alligators

This is a pretty nice facility. I thought it was pretty cool to see all the alligators up close specially the little ones.

The place is not too big but the amount of alligators is impressive and the live presentations make it a great experience for the boys, 12 and 10 year old. A little pricey but worth the time and money.

This place was a blast, even for two adults with no kids. Even with temps in the 60s, the animals were active, even the indoor reptiles. We enjoyed the alligator feeding and the location was a simple short walk from barefoot landing, although traffic was heavy on Kings Hwy. We asked and this was the best route.

Great place to spend a few hours when the weather got cool during our Spring Break. We enjoyed the many varieties of Alligator exhibits & the Educational Speakers. There is a Gift Shop & snack shop on site.

Okay, it was a bit sad because the bobcat and lemur seemed to just have these rather small cages and were pacing back and forth. I know it’s a zoo lol. However the crocodile Utan is huge and overall it’s a cool place for the kids. I wish they had more stories on how the animals got there (rescue, injuries, kidnapped) lmao. It was fun I’m just a softy!

Thought it was very expensive for what we seen there was not a whole lot to see where you walk through the exhibit in an hour

I was surprised my child was so excited to want to see alligators since she’s normally scared of things like that, but it was definitely more enjoyable then anticipated. Wide variety of different animals and alligators everywhere. For those that commented the tanks our too small are clearly the type of people that just like to find something to complain about because there was PLENTY of room for the alligators, and other animals, to spread out. Those animals definitely did not look like they were suffering, if anything they looked like they were living the good life. The shows were very informative and interesting too. Of course the alligator feeding shows were our favorite, but it was neat to get touch different animals during the reptile show. Also the second day (within 7 days) is free so it makes the money worth while.

Great stop if you are in the area. Leave yourself a 2-3 hours to get the full experience. They have the largest exhibited crocodile in America!

Fun for the entire family, kids and adults alike. Tons of alligators, crocodiles and other animals. Good reptile show. The alligator feeding is absolutely amazing!

If you're in the South and you want to see some alligators, this is the place. They have a lot of them, different types, and different sizes. We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it to others. It's a little on the pricey side for a small park, but we still thought it was worth it.

Visited with my on Monday. We had a great time. There are educational shows and the exhibits are very different and entertaining. The staff are very friendly and willing to answer questions. The facility is very clean.

Awesome experience! The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable about all of the animals on site, and they put on wonderful shows! Definitely worth a visit. I plan to go back next time I’m in town visiting family.

We were looking for an activity to do with our 5, 3, and 1 year old grandkids and decided to stop in here. It was both fascinating and sad. The animals were interesting, but there were SO many alligators crammed together in one area. Not sure, perhaps alligators group together like that in the wild anyway??
Lots of snakes to see too

Small mostly outside zoo-like facility that has alligators and some reptiles and birds. It was cool to see so many gators lying on the banks of the water but after you have seen 50, the thrill is gone. The biggest in captivity is cool but he pretty much just lays there and blinks. Had trouble finding the place as our GPS had us going around and around; it is located behind the winery..... That was probably intentional for the parents who have been schlepping kids from one gator to another for hours. :-)

Great time with our grandsons. The weather was beautiful and it was not crowded. They liked the feeding of the alligators. They also liked getting to hold one.
Good day outing.

This place is more than the usual gator farm. It's got birds, hyenas, sloths, reptiles, snakes, amphibians, and yes - gators and crocs. There are baby gators, albino gators, and a huge (biggest?) gator. Check out feeding time where the gators jump up using their tail.

Thought it was a little expensive until we actually got into the place. We thoroughly enjoyed the animal talks and the opportunity to touch/hold the critters. The animals seemed to all be well fed and in good condition. Being winter the alligators and crocodiles weren't very active but there certainly were a lot of them and they were laying out so you could see them. They don't do the feeding during the winter so if you go in February like we did, you won't get to see that. I didn't realize there were so many different species of both gators and crocs. They even have two albino alligators. There's a large reptile house with dozens of different species of snakes (many venomous), frogs, lizards and turtles. They have 3 Galapagos tortoises in an outside area which we were told you can pet (they like to have their necks rubbed) They also have several different kinds of lemurs, 3 bobcats and lots of birds. You can easily spend three hours here if you go to the shows and take a few minutes to do a little reading about the various animals at this zoo.
The park was very clean and well maintained and I highly recommend it.

Plan to spend some time here. There is so much to see! Bring water! You can buy it as well, but it's not cheap. The sign says no open toed shoes, but EVERYONE was wearing them.
You get a chance to pet an alligator...a tiny one. And there is so much to see; mountain lions, turtles, kookaboura's, snakes- of course, lots of bird types, and so much more!!!

Kids of all ages will love it - not only alligators, but crocodiles, birds, lemurs, an giant tortosises..

It’s a medium sized park in a small foot print. You wouldn’t expect it to be there. It’s pricey at $24.99 an adult, but you can get a 2nd day free. I chalk up the price to the cost to maintain live animals.
There were several types of crocodiles and a lot of alligators. They have a couple engaging demonstrations and food on site. We spent about 1.5 hours and saw everything. They have some interactive demonstrations where you can touch a tortoise, alligator and snake. You can also touch the larger tortoises elsewhere in the park.
They had quite a few snake exhibits with a large variety.

I visited Alligator Adventure as a teen with my family and just came back with my husband over Labor Day. We loved it. Especially the free second day. The first day we went it was so hot that we rushed through it. We went back a few days later in the morning and were able to enjoy the animals so much more.

While in North Myrtle Beach for a softball tournament, we went here with the kids and my in-laws. Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Some people seem to think it was too expensive, but since we are used to DC and Southern California prices, I thought it was a bargain. And they offered military discount!
So what's here? Alligators. Lots and lots of alligators, including two of the biggest ones I've ever seen. They were absolutely incredible. There is also a lot of other reptiles and a few birds and mammals. Plenty to see for about two or three hours if you catch a couple of the shows. It also had a nice laid back feel throughout the park.
They will give you a second day free with the normal ticket price (we did not go back) as well as a free tasting at the winery next door. As an aside, the winery stops their tastings an hour before closing (we missed it) but will still sell you a very reasonably priced glass.
Overall this is a really nice local place which we all enjoyed!

Enjoyed taking the kiddos to see some gators! The prices for admission are quite high, and COVID is being used as an excuse to not honor a past tradition of allowing a one-day free entry.
Pretty expensive for a one-time visit, and having to cram in everything for a single visit made for some tired/cranky kids when we'd have preferred to visit again and break up the schedule.

Went to Alligator Adventure with extended family (7 of us ranging from 10-60) and every single person enjoyed it! There are many more animals besides alligators here. We saw lemurs, emus, bobcats, hyenas, owls, macaws, lots of snakes, frogs, and lizards, and even a kookaburra. There were alligator feedings and reptile shows fairly regularly throughout the afternoon. The reptile show was informative and we were able to touch all the reptiles. Like everywhere, it’s expensive to get their “professional pictures” of patrons holding a real live alligator, but the opportunity is there if you want it.
The facility itself is kept up well and very clean. Most zoos seem a little run down and generally dirty to me, but this place was very nice! Staff was friendly.
Also, your paid admission actually includes a free return visit for your whole party within the next 7 days, so you can definitely get your money’s worth out of it. We spent about 3.5 hours here. 100% would go back next time I’m visiting Myrtle Beach!

This place was really fun for guests of all ages. Sadly Utan who we were planning on seeing passed away a few weeks before we visited. The other gators were fun to watch being fed. The informative show was lacking though my kids were able to pet a baby alligator. This place was larger than I thought and occupied my children for 2 hours. Its pricey but overall I was happy with the value provided.

LOTS of alligators of all sizes, other animals too. Shows were informative & fun (and included). Great gift shop. For the cost & size of the place I was disappointed it didn't take longer to see everything. But it was a great place!

We had a great time. November is slightly off season so it wasn't crowded at all and it was easy to see the available shows. Because of that not every show is available though. We still had a great time and spent several hours here. Its mostly outside and there is a good bit of walking.

We went and saw a few shows then the rain came. We got our tickets stamped for a second day to come back ,which we did.We got to touch and hold alligators and snakes.Lots of gators here along with other animals and reptiles.

Great day trip with the kids. If you go in summertime, though, make sure to visit late afternoon or early morning before it is too "hot". They let you come back again on another day (at no cost) if you can't do the entire site in one visit --- which is good to know if it's a very hot day.

In a nut shell go when its not hot hot. Its not fun with kids because it gets really hot, however you will see lots of gators.

Better exhibits than alot of zoos. Impressed by the clean enclosures and well taken care of animals. Loved the alligator feeding and the reptile show. Would return again, next time with the grandkids.

This place has a TON of alligators and crocodiles, in addition to other reptiles and birds. They do some meet and greets with the animals and a gator feeding. There's not a lot of shade in the place, so plan accordingly. Your ticket includes a free return visit, so go early in your trip if you want to go again. You can get a picture with an alligator for $20.

Seeing the white alligator was amazing. It is a great place to take the children or for adults to just learn about these amazing creatures.

We took our daughter back before school started up and she had a blast. The show where you get to interact with the animals is her favorite. The young lady running it did a wonderful job. She took the time to answer all of my daughters questions. Two thumbs up.

Great place to see animals up close! There are more than just gators. This place has a variety of animals!:Seeing the alligators jump at the alligator feeding was our favorite part!

You won't be disappointed in this adventure! In addition to the alligators, there were many other animals. The facility was quite large and very nice. Watching the alligators being fed was really fun!

Alligator Adventure has been a favorite for years. It continues to grow and has a wealth of information on wildlife in the region and beyond. This place is more of a zoological park than just a roadside attraction. The free second day pass is a plus.

We took 7 total to this attraction. 2 adults 4 teens and will 1 kid. The feedings are the best part. Get the return visit just in case. Over all worth visiting.

more interesting than I thought it would be. Make sure you see the feeding of the alligators. Even young children had a good time

We were simply amazed at the number of alligators at this attraction. We've visited NMB for years and have never stopped in to enjoy this attration. Finally on our 31st anniversary we decided to do something fun that we had not done at NMB before - it we were not disappointed.
We noticed all the animals at this attraction looked healthy, well taken care of. We hate we didn't make it early enough to see the feeding of the alligators. We took our time walking through the exhibits and area.
A great break away from the normal beach attractions - great visit!

Visited here this summer. I went for the kids, not expecting to enjoy it myself. I was wrong. A very enjoyable and pleasant experience. Lots of various reptiles on show and quite educational. Good value for money too.

Fun place with many kinds of crocs, alligators, and other reptiles. Albino alligator (one of 7 in existence) and the largest croc in USA are a must see...

I was amazed at the number of gators that they have. The staff is very knowledgeable. We spent about 2 hours here.

Sooooo expensive and not much to see. Can walk through in about an hour. And they don’t do the free second day visit anymore. So disappointed, we used to visit every year. This will be our last, just not worth the money

Great way to spend a couple hours. Our kids 8 and 4 loved it. Not to big and overwhelming but enough to hold the interest. We went to a few very interesting shows and feedings too! Really liked it!

Lots of alligators and other animals. Scheduled alligator feedings. Only issue is that it can be hard to get a good spot when they are feeding the large alligator. So go BEFORE the scheduled time No seats, all standing around the cage.

Such a great family adventure! Always something new to see, and the updates to the park over the last few years are amazing!
Put it on your list of things to do... you will be pleasantly surprised at how much there is to see while helping to support this great sanctuary for reptiles.

Nicely kept zoo. Nice exhibits. Fun to see them eat, about an hour visit. Probably not much fun in summer when it’s super hot. The price is fine, costs a lot to take care of animals and the place was well maintained. Would recommend a visit.

One of the most visited attractions in Myrtle Beach. Lots of educational stuff for kids as well as adults. A must go spot for all wildlife lovers.

Went in the Fall, so not a large crowd. Enjoyed a great afternoon with family. Good for all ages. It was my husband and me, our Son and daughter-in-law, and three teenage grand children. Was there many years ago when grands were young and they enjoyed it then as well. Very nice family entertainment.

Very cool . Saw gators big and small. Lovely flamingos. And such .tHe man at alligator exhibit was very informative.,answered our questions .,neat to be close to exhibit.,

We had a great time at Alligator Adventures. Plenty to see and not too much walking for my elderly Mom. We enjoyed seeing the gators, snakes, turtles, hyenas, parrots, etc. The gator feeding show was good but the actual animal showings of the snake, turtle, and baby gator were especially darn cool as my family members got to touch the animals/reptiles - not me I am a scaredy cat!! Worth the money!!! Only downfall were that I did not know that if you got something stamped that you could come back free of charge the next day AND that the largest Alligator there was only fed on Mondays - we went on a Wednesday.

I wasn't too excited to go but the kids wanted to so I gave it a shot. I now recommend it to anyone going to N. Myrtle Beach. Those alligators are something else. It is amazing to watch them being fed. There are also plenty of other animals to look at in the park. Plus you get a free wine tasting at Duplin when you are done.

There were so many alligators! Our family really enjoyed it. There were also good shows timed perfectly apart. Would go again!

This is just cool. Kind of pricey, but hey we had coupons. I love watching Gators -- from behind a fence of course.

An amazing display of alligators/crocodiles from multiple countries. The habitats for the American alligator were quite impressive. They have an extensive collection of reptiles along with birds, lemurs and hyenas. The park is handicapped accessible. There is a snack shop and gift shop. On site parking too.

All the animals and birds are delightful to see. Many, many alligators from young to old. Super reptile show with petting. Friendly personnel.

Way more alligators than you can even imagine (too many?), don't miss feeding time. Other animals on display, all look to be well taken care of. They do have a lower price for Seniors.

They have a lot of alligators and exhibits. They also have other animals and a gift shop. It was very educational.

Unique experience, it is ideal for children and families.
We like the different types of animals. It is interesting, we saw snakes, turtles, alligators and birds.

The sloth is not longer at the Adventure but it does have other animals. Great for families with kids. There are alligator feedings and a show that provides you with interesting information. The Albino alligator was very cool.

We had a great time learning all about alligators and the other animals housed her including turtles, snakes, lizards crocodiles. It was a very enjoyable time spent walking around and watching a show as well as witnessing an alligator feeding.

Guess we've never visited in this season before. We raved about this place to our visiting family, especially about the gator feedings. Didn't know that the feedings only occured in the summer months. Disappointed, especially for the price we paid to visit.

Neat place to visit! I went early in the morning, and it wasn't busy, which gave us time to walk around and check out all the animals. Nice and clean, and the animals look well taken care of. I liked all the alligators, but my favorite was the tortoises.kids would like it. It's definitely worth checking out.

We brought our grandsons, ages 12 and 10, for the day and they had a blast! We weren't sure how things would go with this Covid thing, but it was pretty close to normal. Everyone does have to wear a mask. They state that depending on crowds, some of the indoor expos would be closed. We went on a Saturday and everything was open. We even had the chance to see 2 feeding shows. We were there for over 2 hours and the boys never got bored. They do offer senior and military discounts.

We come here atleast four times a year, probably going to go for the annual pass sooner or later. I wish there was more staff for shows and education purposes on Sundays. However, everything is always a great experience. Utan, the hybrid 1 ton resident is the coolest exhibit there! I hope to catch more of his feeding shows this summer. We always have Victoria as the host of the reptile show, she is very knowledgeable and friendly and one of the reasons we return again and again. She’s awesome at what she does! Alligator Adventure is probably our favorite excursion at the beach. The only
Thing I could recommend, is we would love to see you doing more conservation efforts in the area!
Overall, a 10!

Visited July 19, 2021. It has changed quite a bit from several years ago when I visited. There were too many baby alligators in one area, laying on top of each other, very limited access to water, the poor hyena was pacing back and forth like it was stressed. It did not have a very big space to live, I felt so sorry for these animals. I know a lot of people gave this place good reviews, in my opinion, it’s gotten like everything else around, the owners are only in it for the money and tourists keep giving them money so why invest it back into the animals? I just thought it was very nasty too, I am an animal lover but will not be back to this place and support this business, Sorry I gave them $160 of my money on this day.

The employees are very friendly. The grounds are spotless. The bathrooms pristine.
There are shows and many different types of alligator, lizard, turtle and bird displays.
A fun time

Amazing experience, stayed 3 hours! If it hadn’t been 90 out would have stayed longer. The concession stand was so impressive, so very reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed alligator adventure. All of the paths are boardwalk and everything is extremely handicapped accessible. It is all fairly low key especially good for small kids.

Took our boys (6, 4) for the first time. They absolutely loved it!! We saw the reptile show & live feeding, they just keep talking about it. It was my 3rd visit, and I enjoy it every time as well!

For many years I’ve driven past Alligator Adventure numerous and always wondered if visiting was worthwhile. The opportunity presented itself when my son and five year old grandson invited me along.
I have to say that I was not disappointed in any way. It’s fun and educational for all age groups. We spent three hours there walking the self guided tour and observing the various educational shows and alligator feedings too.
Will more than likely return when my other two grandchildren are old enough to learn from the experience.

Place is a lot larger than I expected it to be. They have a lot of alligators and crocs. There are some other attractions as well but primarily focused on gators and crocs. If you are into them like I am, then I recommend going. They are pretty lazy during the day, so other than the feeding times, they are just laying around.

We heard about Alligator Adventure from relatives and were skeptical but we had a great time. I liked the fact that it was a self guided stroll through the park and they give you times for the shows if you want to catch any of them. The shows were mostly them feeding the animals but we got a kick out of the lemurs!

This was great for all. Young children (8 and 10), parents and grandparents. Kids especially liked the feeding of the alligators. We took our time and saw everything. Snakes, turtles, a sloth and a hyena. If you are a local present your drivers license for a discount. The whole party does not get the discount. They will also discount AAA as well. Tickets are good for two days.

We went to see the alligators, but also other exotic animals like lemurs, hyenas and birds. Our two grandkids(12 & 15) loved it. Free wheelchair use, military and senior discounts. They have a large area so don't let the entrance fool you. Get your receipt validated for free second day. It can be hot, but plenty of shady area and huge fans. I highly recommend.

We haven't been to AA for several years. So this year we decided to make a special trip. We had a great time! The park is extremely well maintained. Most of the staff we encountered were very friendly. We watched 2 "shows" while at the park and the gentlemen who did the Reptile show (Austin) was very informative and we all enjoyed his narration and interaction. We also enjoyed watching the Feeding Show as well. Thank you for a great place to visit!

Great! Husband and I enjoyed seeing all the animals. They all looked well cared for and relaxed. Recommended for anyone!

We had a wonderful experience yesterday—great staff, amazing animals, and it was fun and informative! We saw many creatures and learned about them and conserving species. They all looked well cared for. Staff was friendly and went out of their way for us.

We went in May. We had a good time. Lots of animals to see. I was afraid there would only be alligators and we would be bored but they had lots of different animals to see. ITs a little pricy but If you need a family event its worth it. It takes about 2-3 for your trip counting the shows.

Great Place to visit for a 1/2 Day. Brought My Mom who was able to use a Wheel Chair that they provided. Had the Family Group from Age 4 to 86. Well worth the trip !!

This place is amazing!! You get to see so many different species!! It is so well maintained and clean. The staff are all super friendly, informative and helpful. Highly recommend!!
Fun but Too Expensive
I would've given 5 stars if it was just a little cheaper. $100 for 2 adults and a 4 year old just seems a little too expensive. I also didn't like that you couldn't leave and come back. We've visited Alligator Adventure in the past and been able to leave for lunch and come back, but the folks in the ticket booth said that was no longer allowed. Besides those the price and not being allowed re-entry, this is an amazing place. My son loved seeing all of the animals (way more than just alligators). And we even got to touch a baby alligator at one of their shows. If this was about $20 cheaper for the 3 of us, we would come back every time we visited North Myrtle Beach.
