Great bar scene. Lots of places to eat. Free tailgate party with music, games, large screen TV. Be sure to take the escalator to the second floor.

This place is absolutely fine especially for the kids they have a dancing water fountains I guess right middle of the park there that the kids left their run through and get all wet and hot days they have umbrellas chairs artificial turf grass and on in the evenings they have a live band music you can bring your lawn chair and sit around to the live music it's great summer evening and it's totally free there's all kinds of stuff to eat restaurants bars sushi cocktails whenever you have a even coffee sandwiches there's a movie theater if you don't want to do that they have a lots of free stuff so if you're around just check it out if not enjoy the free music and the kids run around the waterfall, also the parking is free so no worries about that everything's working distance you can catch a soccer game and concert they have many venues at the place come check it out you may be impressed

Great selection of restaurants and shops with a huge movie theater to boot. Plenty of parking and good security!

The Westgate Entertainment District includes numerous restaurant, a number of shops and the Phoenix Coyotes Stadium. There always seems to be something happening. We saw a Navy jazz band, a hot rod exhibition and a rock band. The landscaping is very pretty and the people watching is great. This is a nice place to spend time.

The place is big, so lots to take in before the game, and lots of pubs/restaurants for after the game. Staying nearby will be super expensive, so we stayed a5 minutes away for 1/3 the price and only a $17 Uber ride.

There is so much to do in the Entertainment District! Awesome restaurants, super close to the stadium, beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the water fountains.

The atmosphere here is awesome. A lot of restaurants, sweet shops, Drinks and more. Great place to eat something and enjoy the evening. They have an AMC theater and a huge Dave and Buster.

This is a great place to sit on a patio, grab a bite to eat and have a couple of drinks. The atmosphere is great, especially if it is a game day. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and a couple of shops. Not a lot of shopping here but the outlet mall is just across the street. We checked out Dave and Buster's this time and played some games, had supper at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill.

Rod Rods and food what could be better. The setting was perfect and the cars beautiful. The only thing that kept me from giving this a 4, was the way the cars were displayed. If the cars were angle parked you would be able to see all the cars without having a block of cars in the center that was awkward to walk through.

Nice place to listen to local musicians, and grab a bite to eat as the courtyard is surrounded by restaurants.There's a fountain in the center that the kids have fun in and you can cool your feet in.

Well, let's start with eating and drinking. They're a restaurant for every occasion here. BBQ, Burgers, Steaks the whole shooting match! Priced inexpensive to expensive. The Yard House offers a plethora of beers on tap, and you can catch a movie, a hockey game or just shop. There are always activities and shows going on. When in Glendale, see Westgate!

There is a movie theater the tickets there are cheaper then some but the food is vary high in price the as you wish is vary fun with kids then you have lots of food and a doughnut shop that is amazing then the events are so much fun if your there at the right time

First time to the district, waiting for the final four games. Lots of entertainment spots in the area. Reminded me of a western version of the Rosemont MB Park area. Great for food, drink and people watching, especially before any hockey or football game. Would go back to try the food at a bunch of the restaurants.

This is typical of the recent developments across the country of family orientated entertainment (Dave and Buster's) and eating (Yard House, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc) places.

This one is right around the corner from the Tangiers Outlet Mall and the University of Phoenix Stadium.... just off the 101.

Parking was fairly convenient...but be prepared to do some waking. There is quite a bit of shopping in addition to the food and fun. There is a large theater there too.

A nice place to spend a few hours

Lots of dining options with indoor and outdoor seating. I visit here 3 to 4 times a month when in the area for business. Short walk from the Hampton Inn. Safe place to walk off your meal.

No matter what I order here, the food is delicious. My only complaint is the bathrooms which have been built on an angle so the optical illusion is unnerving sometimes. It is also usually cold in there.

I shopped at Tanger outlets and went over to Westgate. July is not the time to wander around Westgate checking out the shops and places to eat. Will spend more time in the fall and winter. Westgate is beautiful. Has a children's park, fountain, lots of restaurants and shops

A bit too expensive for me. No complaints except for prices. It's all on me, I'm a paycheck to paycheck kinda guy. Special occasions only, not a regular hangout.

We walked the entertainment district on St Paddys day which was a rocking party but we had small kids so just ate at Johnny Rockets. It was neat to walk through but thats it.

The food selection here is all over the place which is great for picky people. The restaurants variety is great, the AMC is clean and we'll maintained.

Usually you come here for shopping or eating, but during the winter, the best part was the artificial ice skating rink.
Of course, this is only available during winter time. I'm sure there are other activities throughout the year.

We decided to hang out and walk around before the game! We are so glad we did! Great drinks, great atmosphere with tons of outdoor seating!

Visited the Glendale area on a recent vacation. Went to a hockey game at the Gila River Arena and took time to enjoy the number of bars in the Westgate Entertainment District. Would not consider this a family friendly area in the evening as there is pretty much only bars and lounges there except for the AMC theatre complex at the north end.

The Westgate Entertainment District is a great place to visit & hangout. There is a variety of places to eat & have fun!

Everything you could ask for at whatever age is located here. A huge variety of dining selections whether casual or more upscale. Splash pads for kids, movie theatre, sports bars, even a classic car show when we visited. Just to walk around & enjoy the atmosphere was entertaining! It is located just across the street from the Phoenix Cardinal stadium. If you are in the area, don't miss it! Plenty of free parking.

Lots of great bars and vey busy. Would recommend heading here for a night out especially if catching a football or hockey game in the area. One of the best sports bar areas I have ever seen in a city.

Attended a hot rod show, had a great Elvis singer and band, lots of places to eat and drink. Easy and plenty of parking.

West gate was amazing the restraunts the entertainment went to comedy club at Westgate it was great we would go back definitely

The Westgate Entertainment District.....again I would recommend this as a great hang out spot in Glendale....obviously when you're not watching a live NHL or NFL game!

Read good things about this destination but found it to be full of chain restaurants and average entertainment.

AMC Movie theatre is clean and quit, shopping at Tanger Outlet is reasonably priced, restaurants are delicious and inexpensive!

This place was really an oasis in the desert. Lots of great restaurants and nicely landscaped outdoor areas to enjoy the Arizona weather.

The shops arent particularly amazing. However there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Most are slightly overpriced, but also a variety of choices. The grounds are pretty. They’re nice fountains. There’s a good splash pad for kids as well. It’s good also to have entertainment like Dave and busters and AMC theaters here.

We head down to Westgate once a month, always something going on and lot's of choices for food. The water features are nice and very relaxing. Often have live music and there is a great comedy club there!

Westgate is a great place to go especially if you're not sure what you're looking for or in the mood for. There is a great variety of eating and entertainment options. From mechanical bulls and western food to Italian or southwest flare, from good drinking spots to shopping...it's all there.

The Westgate Entertainment District has all the energy of Glendale! Not only is the Jobing.com Arena here, but there are numerous shops and restaurants here, as well as a cinema! The fountains were very picturesque. On a hot day you can enjoy a splash or two around the stand-in ones.
There is no shortage of souvenir and gift shops as well.
There are tons of mist-blowers from the stores to keep you cool as you walk on a hot sunny day!

I’ve been to Westgate over the years for a variety of needs. From what I know the upcoming expansion in and around Westgate about the time of the Super Bowl is going to be historic. Not so much because of the obvious economic boost the event brings but more due to the expansion currently in progress.
The Vai resort/ hotel (said to be the largest in the whole state of Arizona) w/ Crystal Lagoon, a flurry of new restaurants, shopping arcades, the Mattel theme park, Chicken N Pickle just to mention a few is going to exponentially expand the already vibrant infrastructure. Even plans for a huge Cricket Stadium, Pickleball complexes, and soccer/ fired hockey fields w/ their own infrastructure is going to be epic for Glendale, Buckeye and the rapidly expanding west valley. With that said, I think Valley Metro needs to wake up and look to make the whole area reachable esp. by light rail.
Maybe then it’ll also be able to exceed the pathetic average slow 20 mph speeds.
Impractical and inefficient as it is currently. The subsequent gridlock is going to make it a real challenge if it’s delayed any more. Notorious for reactive rather than proactive and well planned transportation it’s well late in the day to wake up and smell the roses and the coffee, depending on what their ‘cup of tea is’. 🤣 For a major metropolitan city that’s growing rapidly, it is just one of the important things to serve the community at large that needs immediate attention. Otherwise it could go the way of Atlantis in a figurative sense. Anyone can do some research and come up with workable solutions for the Valley of the Sun that we choose to call home.
I hope Mr. Parsons the owner of the Westgate complex may perhaps be the one to get the ball rolling. I hear he is a visionary and a successful billionaire. Perhaps there is still hope for the infrastructure and beyond. Cheers! 👌

The movie house is wonderful, and there are many places to eat. The Tanger outlet center next door has good stores.

If you're going to a game or the movies this is the place to grab dinner before, you can get fish and chips, sushi, a good steak or a burrito bowl all at Westgate. If you looking to bar hop, there are quite a few choices as well.

We hang out here for a little while before the hockey game and decided to come back the next day to see more of it. Awesome to see at night and in the daylight. Lots of places to eat and drink and some shopping nearby too. A really nice entertainment area near the hockey arena and football field.

Great place to snack and drink after a game. Lots of options. People watching fun. So many clubs and lights and sounds. Tried cowboy bar for happy hour and found food delicious.

We were so disappointed with our visit to the Fountain at Westgate. We took our children on a night outing to see the lights and music and especially the Bellagio-style water fountain show. As stated on the web site, the show was to start every hour for the day we were in attendance. We arrived a little late for the 7pm showing so we walked around Westgate and enjoyed people watching and some amazing crepes at teh Crepe House (we recommened the House Crepe). We returned to the Fountain area just before 8pm along with many other spectators. We waited patiently until about 8:15pm...the water fountain show never started. No music, no special choreographed waterworks or show lighting. Nothing. We are very disappointed; if you are planning on seeing the Bellagio style fountain show by the hockey arena...don't bother...contrary to the Westgate web site...it's no longer an amenity of the Westgate district.

The Westgate Entertainment District is just a stones throw from the Cardinal's Stadium and ideal for pre or after game dinner/drinks.

This is an oasis-type setting with stores and restaurants and events going on whether it be football, hockey or some other event at the stadium.

Great place for all types of entertainment, music, food and party! Everything money can buy without bursting the bank!!!

In town for business and stayed adjacent to the Westgate. Lots of fun places to eat and drink. Very clean. Just a nice place.

This is an enjoyable venue for restaurants and shopping at the outlet stores. We enjoyed sitting in the shade around a splash pad for children and there were quite a few mothers with children enjoying it too.

Nice place to walk around to grab dinner and some drinks. At night, the fountains and lights look very nice.

Many good dining and several entertainment options (bowling, movies, Dave & Busters) within easy walking distance.

Arrived from Oz and the First experience of USA was on July 4th, whole area was a buzz and it was hot, went to Yard House for a meal and was impressed with service and our food. Great family atmosphere that night. Good choice of places to go, things to do and places to eat.

It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. The mood of the people and the atmosphere was fantastic. The many restaurants and bars options provide visitors a large array to choose from. There was a private club show of antique cars for everyone to enjoy. Definitely our new place in town to go back to for fun, lunch, diner or just drinks.

Just a great area that has built up with all kinds things to do all within walking distance.

The Westgate Entertainment Center is a conglomeration if restaurants with a movie theater. It's like being on a small version of time square with lighted billboards everywhere.

The Westgate Entertainment District offers a great experience pre and post football games. There are lots of open door food and drink establishments, creating a fun, party atmosphere. Safe and clean.

It was a nice large entertainment, restaurant and club area right in the city. Lots of different choices, and it was safe and secure.

Stayed at the nearby Renaissance Hotel for three days. Our primary purpose was to have a room close to the Gila River Arena to see a rock concert. The Westgate complex is just a short walk from the hotel. The complex provides a good selection of restaurants and bars as well as a movie theater so one doesn't have to drive anywhere. Seems a very popular destination, particularly just before an event at the arena. If you're there for an event and want something to eat or drink, highly recommend getting there a couple hours before the event.

AMC theatres are clean and usually not packed , outlets are not the greatest . Parking is awful . Park and carriage rides are fun plus outdoor music . Several highlights are Dave and Buster's and The Fractured Prune . Many smaller kiosks are available for drinks and snacks.

Got to enjoy this awesome vibe before going to a concert at Gila river arena. Very lively and tons of restaurants and beautiful architect.

Weekdays is quiet but nice to eat eat dinner and weekends lots of people and the party starts at around 9pm with bars getting lively and lots of people walking around. Right across the street there is an outlet mall. Movie theater is great and empty week days so enjoy!

I was very pleasantly surprised how clean everything was. The restaurants and bars were very good and service was excellent!! Was very impressed with the huge Zumba flash mob that was there!! It was an experience to see that!! The water shows added to the whole experience!!

Great place to visit and take in everything that is offered. We enjoyed people watching etc since it was NCAA -NABC time. Enjoyed our shopping. Great walking distant from our Westgate Condo Rental.

Plenty of quality restaurants, bars and shopping to choose from before an event at the arenas. Its clean and feels safe. Nice change of pace to enjoy the activities.

Think outdoor mall of restaurants instead of stores! (There are a couple of shops, but the focus is dining and drinking here.) Loved the palms wrapped with tiny blue LED lights at night, the outdoor seating areas at almost, if not all, the restaurants. Great variety of foods as well. Our only complaint was that some of the restaurants seemed unable to deal with the crowds of the NCAA Final Four weekend and were messy and seemingly understaffed. Will return sometime when it is not so crazy busy.

We love to go to the movies always clean and friendly, we also go to some of the restaurants that are around thanks for also making the entire Westgate so nice during the Christmas season all the way up to the snow

The Westgate Entertainment District was a welcome surprise for my first time in Glendale. It is nestled between a large outlet mall, movie theater complex, convention center, University of Phoenix stadium, and the Arizona Coyotes arena. I stayed in the area for a girls weekend and was not disappointed! My hotel was within 5 minutes walking distance to the district, and the variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping were abundant. It is a one-stop district with something for everyone! Despite the heat in Glendale, the district was lined with misters and water fountains to keep the temperature comfortable. The servers were friendly, and the overall mood was relaxing. From flip flops to high heels, there was no specific dress code or expectation. Live music and events made for a new adventure each day. I would highly recommend visiting the Westgate Entertainment District!

When going to the Gila River Stadium for Hockey games (Blackhawks vs. Coyotes), everyone is hyped up for the game. But before, you have to go to one of the many restaurants in Westgate. They're all pretty fun and food is great.

This is a really nice place to unwind after work. Lots of restaurants to choose from and a theater nearby. It is friendly for all ages.

Never a dull moment in this district. So many places to eat, play, relax, shop and so on. Movies, bowling, pottery making, sporting events, concerts, kids activites the list goes on. My favorite place on the West side!

The downtown area of Phoenix was great. The Westgate Entertainment area in particular. We stayed overnight at the Kimpton Hotel and had a great night on the town within blocks of the area.

Theater is just ok. Was very busy and there was only one person taking tickets. 4 doors leading into one line it was a mess.

I would call the overall experience average at best. Drinks are self serve from the machine that dispenses tons of choices but the quality is poor tasting as a result.

Parking is difficult especially when event going on at sport venue. You also have to pay $10 to park which is credited back when you visit shops or restaurants.

This is the Hub for NHL HOCKEY and NFL FOOTBALL. Many fun places to enjoy as well great restaurant selections. There is also out side entertainment on a regular basis

We were intent on getting to the hockey game early so that we could enjoy the "party" at the Westgate

We were not disappointed. The whole place was hoping and getting into the mood and we jumped right in.

There are a ton of places to eat and drink and we had no trouble finding somewhere to go

We stopped in after the game as well and were not disappointed Ted as the Pre party appears to have continued through the game.

Nice area. You can shop and eat. Plenty to do for families with kids. The area is safe and at night its lit up well and you can enjoy yourself.

There is always something going on here..plenty of options to include food and a candy shop..my husband and I love to sit by the fountains and just watch them..there are many restaurants here to include a movie theater..cold stone creamery. .and fresh donuts...must go

A fun mall, lots to do. Lots of shops, lots of different restaurants. Also lots of places to get a beer etc. This is the place to spend several hours shopping and drinking and just having fun.

If u like to shop, if you like to eat, if you like to imbibe. This is the place for you. Go at night, it is busy and sooo alive!

We enjoy this area for the shopping and for the restaurants. There are plenty of activities in the area. We saw “flash mob” aerobics, ice skating, and many fun sights!

Re/Max overlooks the plaza! Opalife is wonderful, Whiskey Rose is fabulous, Watching people is a joy, and seeing all of the upcoming events makes me want to hang out more often!

So much choice but you do have to drive here. Close to the football stadium with the most amazing selection of dining options. Well worth a visit & close to the outlet mall.

We tried to eat here since we were staying in a nearby hotel, but they wanted $30 for “event” parking even though there were no events at the stadium that night (and no events elsewhere or frankly even very many people that I could see). There were hundreds of parking spaces not being used and completely blocked off. We decided not to be extorted and went to another area to have an excellent dinner and park for free. I’m not very picky, don’t mind spending money, and rarely leave reviews. If I’m here to say this place is ridiculous, it really is.

This is a very modern, attractive area with a movie theater, comedy club and several restaurants right near University of Phoenix Stadium. There’s probably more but I did not explore more. They have these mist machines going through the area that really cool it down. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Mist is blowing out of all of the restaurants so the area actually feels cool even though it’s more than 100°.

When there's a game in town very crowded and lively, otherwise not much going on here and there is nothing spectacular about any of the eateries here. Sometimes there are fun events, but again, there is no reason to come here just for the restaurants.

This is a very vibrant active area. There are plenty of food choices and of course you have Cardinals Stadium and Coyotes Arena . There is an outdoor skating rink and a cool sitting area in the small plaza. I have also been there when their was outdoor entertainment.

Even if you are not a shopper and there are plenty of shops, this time of year the grounds are beautiful. Everything is well kept and clean.Many areas are like a park.

I left with a black eye and a broken knee and a couple missing finger nails and one missing tooth. at least I got some popcorn from the trash can out side of the AMC and a drunk gave me some free pancake power in a little tiny bag it was a good ahh pancake tho

We Iove Westgate. It's our go to place for food, fun, and elegance. We go any day of the week. Beautiful atmosphere. Food has always been on point. Service is always friendly and quick. Parking has been no problem. We mostly Uber because we know we will drink. Good adult fun. Two Desert Diamond casinos less then 3 miles away. Burros n Fries, delicious. Try the shrimp and Carne asada burrito!

Great place to go for dinner and a movie or a comedy show. There are many restaurants to chose from. Bar Louie is a favorite. Check out Stir Crazy Comedy Club. The also have a light fare menu and decent food.

The family and I made a trip out to the west side of town for an event. Had a great dinner here, and the nighttime photos were great too. Be prepared to pay for parking. The free lot was full when we arrived.

We went to the yard house in westgate. Great food and service. Atmosphere was great. So many beers on tap. They are all around the bar. Anything you want they have.will go again.

This district is awesome because there are plenty of restaurants, shows like live music and car shows plus more, stores and all around scene and much to do. It’s next to the Stadium and hockey stadium. Location, Location and Location is the best thing about this place except when the football game is over and you're trying to come to the area. Nice selection of restaurants if in the area for sporting events or shopping, although the shopping in Westgate is extremely limited. Maybe due to COVID things have closed.

Great location by Cardinal Stadium and the Desert Diamond Casino. Lots of restaurants (Mexican, breweries, steakhouse, hamburger, seafood, wings, etc) adorn this location. AMC, a do-it-yourself ceramic shop, bakery, candy store, and miscellaneous stores make up this area. A nice park-like area is adjacent to AMC with lots of seating on grass areas or tables and chairs.

Walked over from our hotel and sampled some of the bars and restaurants in the district. Nice place to have dinner and drinks before seeing a concert.

Plenty for food choices and good shopping at the outlets. Free EV charging at the outlets as well!!!

I didn't find too much of interest here. There are lots of restaurants. I'm guessing this place is packed during football games. Otherwise it's just ok.

We came to shop earlier in the day for some shopping and steps, and returned in the evening for a free concert. Unbeknownst to us, the concert coincided with Bikers Night. The noise from the bikes was so loud, you had great difficulty listening to the great concert playing their set. These two events should not have been located in the same location.
The complex has great stores to shop, and there are a lot of stores to shop for sure. There are also many great restaurants and bars to check out. Also, be sure to check out the fountains on the hour during the afternoon and evening.

Tons to do there. They have candy stores for the kids, awesome breweries,restaurants of all sorts, a great cigar bar, an area for live music, and so much more! It was my first time there, I went to the Yard House and Fine Ash Cigars. There is the absolute largest variety of craft beer at the Yard House (they also have wine and a full bar for non-beer drinkers). The food was delicious. I ate a small pizza and my husband had a sandwich melt. Fine Ash Cigars had a large indoor seating area (very comfortable) and a bar area. Great variety of cigars and you may enjoy them with a drink from their full bar. Drinks are a little pricey ($10) for gin and tonic, but for the adult atmosphere it was fine. I recommend both places. Really not for children, but there is plenty in area for them to do something else.

You could easily spend the day shopping at the Tanger Outlet stores, then take a break for lunch or dinner, and then head over to Gila River for a sporting event or concert.

Within walking distance from State Farm Stadium and the Gila River Arena, Westgate Entertainment District is a great place to hang out for sports fans visiting for games or with friends and family. Good restaurant choices that will satisfy just about every taste buds. It’s opened daily so you can visit even if there aren’t any games scheduled.

Next to arena, short walk to stadium. Several eateries,stores and a movie complex.Safety never became a concern. Clean and well kept area.

The Stir Crazy Comedy Club has great talent, lots of laughs and food for your tummy. Our son brought us there to celebrate the birthday of a friend. We all enjoyed it.
My wife is visually impaired, so navigating the close quarters in very little light was difficult for her.

With numerous restaurants and bars, an auditorium for concerts and sporting events, and adjacent to the Arizona Cardinals Stadium, This place has something for everyone. From frequent car shows to free concerts, children's events and shopping next door at the outlets, you can spend a relaxing or busy day at Westgate. Take in a movie or go to the comedy club, Stir Crazy, then relax in one of the many bars and restaurants, you will certainly find a complete experience here.

This is reminiscent of a shopping and dining experience in Orange County. I recommend visiting in the evening during summer though to avoid the daytime heat.

My spouse and I met friends here prior to the Fiesta Bowl. Plenty of choices to eat at and plentiful parking all convenient to the State Farm stadium

The open atmosphere with music, comedy and water fountains. Bring your walking shoes and your piano bar songs.

Took the grandchildren to see Mary Poppins Returns. The AMC theater was very clean and well maintained. Tgr staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were average. The environment was excellent snd enjoyable to take children to. Haf a great afternoon.

Great visual with it being next to University of Phoenix stadium. It's looks draw you in and you wonder where you want to stop before heading to the next attraction. Even while parking in the lots to attend final Four you want come back out and hang out underneath the water falls. Nice attractions, plenty or things to do that will appeal to all ages. There's lots to do here - great restaurants, a movie theater and outlet stores nearby. We tend to favor the Yard House as we enjoy the location, plentiful outdoor seating and huge menu.

It’s a shame this place isn’t kept up. Still building and can’t keep the surrounding area they have kept up. Garbage literally everywhere.

I live within a mile of Westgaste, and there seems to always be something going on. There are bike nights, car shows, concerts, hockey games, free music nights.
Lots of food choices.

Cool places to eat with a ton of variety to choose from. Ample parking nearby. Water effects were fun to watch.

Plenty of restaurant choices and things for families to do such as movies, roller skating and ice skating.

Nice venue lots and lots of restaurants to choose from but not too much else. Place is safe and clean.

If you want a day out with your partner, family, or all alone this place will not let you down. There is a movie theater, lots of great restaurants, shopping, an outlet mall across the parking lot, a small grassy area, Dave n Busters, and a entertaining fountain outside. I cannot recall all the restaurants but there are great steak places (Yard House), Seafood, and so many others. It is a great way to spend a little time or a whole day. This review is not doing it justice so if it interests you at all at this point, just do it! This is always on my to-do list when I am in the area!

What a great spot. If you are in the area, you can't miss this exciting place for entertainment, food, a cocktail, bowling, ice skating or just a stroll through the beautiful property with all of the Xmas lights, great energy - a must to stop at.

There is so much to do in this place. Too many restaurants to chose form and so many activities. You need extra time.

This entertainment district has multiple sports and concert venues as well as a nearby Tanger outlet mall. We have been when it’s super packed and still managed to find parking. Lots of restaurant options , movie theatres. When a big sporting event clears out the way they move traffic out is efficient and impressive. Conveniently right beside the loop 101. Good place to go for shopping, a meal and a game in one stop!

Good fun, lots to see, eat, drink and be merry. A must visit, a bit on the expensive side but what the hay, go have fun! There is a mechanical bull in one of those bars, go give it a ride, woo Hoo !!

Coolest tailgating place I’ve seen. There was a DJ. Beer prices weren’t too bad outside. Shops and restaurants/bars right there. Most of them were packed, but service was great anyways.

Westgate has lots to offer, just remember about when you are wanting to visit! They charge for parking when Games etc are being played! Parking can then be very interesting to say the very least. Most places are always manned enough so when it packed they can cope, so dont be put off by that or that the quality will be poor! So, when planning your next adventure to visit always plan ahead!

This was a nice surprise, a lot of shopping and food. Also a huge theater if the weather is not great.

We walked around this area and had some lunch and visited the candy and yogurt shops. Very nice area with lots of variety of food and shops.

We drove almost and hour from north scottsdale to check out this location. Lots of parking but bring good walking shoes.
Center of the area has a water pad that attracts the little ones on ahot day. Great fun watching the kids splash. Upholstered chairs are in need of cleaning or replacement. I sat at a metal table and chair set to avoid the badly stained and un appealing sofas.
We took in a movie and dropped into Dave & Busters. We strolled around to check it out.
Nice place nothing special

This place seems to live off the sports events, especially 40 hockey games bringing in tons of business to the numerous Restaurant nestled around the hockey stadium. One has to wonder what is going to happen to this place if the Coyotes don't start to invest into "star-players" hence finally being competitive again and attract a full house on a steady basis. I have a feeling that if they don't play well the Coyotes might be sold to "the highest bidder" and move somewhere else. How to replace those roughly 500,000 visitors per year?

Many restaurants (Yard House,my favorite) Entertainment (saw classic car show with live band. Had easter bunny taking photos with children. water jets for kids to play in. Misters at some of the restaurants. We ate at Mexican and Greek places also.

Great entertainment area plus shopping. Nice spot to go for dining and entertainment before a game or just on its own. It’s my first time visiting in the spring. I had been here before over Thanksgiving and enjoyed the holiday festivities.

Checked out the bike night. A gathering of motorbikes, surrounded by music, bars and restaurants. A nice treat to enjoy Glendale nightlife at Westgate.

This place is a regular stop for dining prior to a hockey game, football or a concert. The options for different types of food are great and all convenient for the Gila River Arena or State Farm Stadium events. It gets busy though so arrive early or make reservations.

Lots of restaurant choices here. Chain restaurants for sure but still a nice place to get dinner, Watch a concert, enjoy some hockey action, see a movie and often there are live bands playing outside. Comfy seating around a kids fountain where they can splash about and have fun. Cruise nights, bike nights Christmas fun too with decorations and horse drawn carriage rides.

We visited several bars and restaurants in the district. This was a really great place to eat, drink and be entertained.

My husband and I came to Glendale to see our beloved VGK play the Coyotes here at the Gila River Stadium. We always stay an extra night so that we can enjoy the Westgate Entertainment Center and the Renaissance Hotel for an extra night. This time we enjoyed a wonderful New Year's dinner at the Yard Houses restaurant and it was awesome! We had a beautiful menu to decide from for the holiday along with their huge regular menu that is filled with awesome choices. I couldn't make up my mind and so my husband told me to start the year off right, and order all 4 thing's I was wanting and we could share them and just eat what I could handle. I was very surprised as I have never been one to waste food, but my beautiful hotel had a small refrigerator in the suite so why not? It was great! All I can say is don't pass this place up. Great food, cocktails and atmosphere. Service was great too! They will see us again soon.

Bars, restaurants open late and close early. Large parking lots are close but parking charges can be excessive. Service is generally slow. Should be renamed 'Westgate Dump'

This place has turned into gangster land. You can google the shootings that have taken place here. The parking is impossible. If you want to be absolutely SURROUNDED by Tejano thumping gangsters and Urban Hip Hop gangsters then this is your place. It's really sad because Westgate used to be a nice place. During the day maybe.....but go at night and see for yourself. You've been warned. It has been abandoned by nice people with money.

So much to do and you can walk to it. We stayed at the Renaissance hotel and could walk to all the amenities across the street. So great if you are going to watch sports to shop and eat and drink. Really neat area I would highly recommend staying there and checking it out.

Good prices, not enough money! But anyway, you can find all you need. Be prepare to spend amounts of money!

Had a wonderful time with my husband and our son. Walked around, did some shopping and had pizza for lunch. Great weather and the ambiance is fantastic.

This is a good place to come for many reasons. Sports, shows/concerts, restaurants and shops are all here. Plenty of parking, but not always easy to get to depending on what kind of sports or show is going on. Didn't get to try a restaurant as every place was over an hour wait unless you get there long before any shows start.

Great area to visit before the football game we attended. Great to see so many Seattle fans there fill the area. Lots of places to eat, but all very crowded. Food trucks around the area would have been helpful.

This place has something for everybody both young and old. They play live music most nights in the center park area and the kids can play in the water to boot. The have a plethora of different types of restaurants movie theater, bowling alley, and even a sports arena. The cardinals stadium is in walking distance to include a outlet mall. Lets just say there is plenty to do and eat. Worth checking out at least once.

We came here to attended an event at the Gila River Arena and found the whole area to be a wonderful surprise. So many dining and entertainment options. From drinks to dinner to hanging out, going to comedy or movies this is the place. Well lit. Clean.I felt safe. The parking lot was quite crazy with cruisers with loud car's and music so that was annoying since we stayed at the hotel next door but fantastic place to hangout.

For natives and tourists alike this is a great spot for great food, great crowds and good music all before catching one of the many sports games available within walking distance.

We spent much time in this area eating here on three occasions. There were bands in the square on each weekend night we stayed. Locations like Yardhouse and Buffalo Wild Wings along with some local type restaurants are spread throughout. There is a movie theater on one end as well as what looks to be a bowling and bar venue under construction. Make sure to visit the Fractured Prune for some very fresh custom made donuts.

Not much shopping, lots of restaurants and an AMC movie complex. Almost like a huge upscale food court. There weren't any special events when I was there, but that looks interesting.

I'm from Chicago and we came down to see the Blackhawks play the Yotes. Was pleasantly surprised with the Westgate district. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Any team planning to build a new stadium needs to use Glendale & Westgate as a blueprint. Will definitely be back

We have visited Westgate many times. Sometimes for a movie, sometimes for a nice variety of available restaurants. Sometimes for just a night out. For any and each reason, Westgate provides a kind of oasis of calm and variety of activity. Easy in and easy out....well worth the trip!

We traveled to Glendale this month and were delighted to find the Westgate Entertainment District! After checking into our hotel, we asked the staff where we could find a nice place to dine and we were informed that the Westgate was within walking distance. The staff member mentioned a few places that all sounded quite good. It was a short and pleasant walk and once we arrived, we had a fun time looking at our dining options. We selected a place and had a delightful meal. After dinner we strolled around before heading back to the hotel. It was a lovely way to send the evening.

Many different restaurants to visit. Ranging from fast food to more high end. The ribs are unforgettable in Shane's Rib restaurant. Every time I go to Tangier Mall I will stop by and pick up some ribs for dinner.

I was staying nearby so I stopped by Westgate. It features a lot of restaurants and different events in the evening. Beautiful area.

This is always a Big Choice to walk over to this area and let the vehicle traffic subside after any of the Cardinal Games. 40-90 minutes makes leaving the parking lot a snap.

Yard house has great good and a great happy hour...The staff there is very friendly...we love their wings, chicken nachos, and onion rings...they have the tasty drinks as well...try their strawberry mojito.

We were going to the Coyotes game while we were in town and had an hour to walk around beforehand. It is a festive place to gather for whatever the occasion. The only reason I didn't give it a five was because the few places we went looked dirty and it wasn't even that busy (it had rained a good portion of the day).

It has really good restaurants. When there is a cardinal game it is hopping. Lot's of people and family fun.

We walked around before dinner as there was an antique car show on. They were just setting up for live outdoor music as we headed in for dinner. Caught the band for a few songs before we left. We looked in several store and restaurant windows. The Hot N Juicy Crawfish restaurant looked really interesting. Tables were covered in plastic, crawfish was delivered in a bag to shake up, everyone was wearing bibs, didn't see any utensils! There was a lot to see and do while there.

Westgate is a unique development, especially for the west side. It's truly striking at night, particularly with the fountains and lighting. The district is one of the few destinations available in this part of the city, and you can make a day or evening of being there if you visit the nearby shopping outlets, or combine a visit with a game or concert. Live music is available on Friday and Saturdays, and bike night is fun, too.

There is so much to do here and amazing food , drinks, and activity choices. From a movie theatre to the Coyotes stadium. Beautiful fountains

My friend and I wanted a quick meal before the movie started at the theatre. Despite being mid-afternoon on a Sunday with the Mall packed with people, the staff was taking care of everyone quickly. Each sandwich is cooked and prepared at the time of order. We only waited a few minutes at a table and our meals were served. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. Prices are moderate.

There's always something fun going on at Westgate for the family and friends. Back in December my wife and I went to a car show which had a live bad. We had fun time.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and wandered over here a couple times. Malls, tons of food options, organized events a few nights of the week all make it worth a wander.
Of course the Stadiums attract most of the people and it would be better on a game night.
That being said, the patios made for great people watching and it really was easy to spend a few hours there eating, wandering and being entertained.
Tons of free parking too.

There is so much to do at Westgate. You have the mall across the street, the movie theater, Dave & Busters, lots of food selections, bars. The stadium, the gila river arena and there also is a splash pad for kids. There is a lot to do and lots fun here.

Just a whole lot of restaurants and such by the football stadium and hockey and event arena. Get here early if you want to eat before an event. Parking can be a mess and accesses cut off.

We went late afternoon for dinner, live music and car show. What a nice venue for events. There is a children's water spray area with shady seating to enjoy the surroundings. There is an outlet mall near by for shopping. There are many places to eat but some are only open for events. Others are open all the time.

This is such a great idea outside the arena, where we were for a hockey game. I definitely think most of the places are overpriced for what you get, but they are all "chain" type places so not unexpected. Gets a little "clubby" later at night which is not my thing but it is a great thing to have all these places right outside the arena. We hit Whiskey Rose and McFadden's. Did love that every place had outdoor seating!! It was fun!!

Westgate is a nice area to visit, good food and entertainment. movie theater, hockey and football arenas. bike nights in the spring and fall. lots of places to eat some good some not so good. a bit higher priced but is so because of the area and the tax problems with the city of Glendale

Do not make the mistake of eating at a newly opened “hole in the wall” Korean BBQ called Cupbop. The food made me physically ill. I required antibiotics for the bacterial food poisoning. Lots of fun yummy places to enjoy- CUPBOP IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

This is a fun area! Tons of great bars and restaurants - there is something for everyone here! I was in the area for a conference and it was nice being in a hotel here and not having to get into my car or catch an Uber to find great places to dine and find entertainment.

Right next to a major outlet shopping center, this place has many restaurants and some entertainment venues.Perfect after a day of shopping!

There is some shopping, but mainly lots restaurants and sports bars. There's a nice courtyard area to sit and relax, and a dancing water fountain. I highly recommend stopping at Fractured Prune for a "melt in your mouth" doughnut. Then head to Saddle Ranch for a cocktail and ride the mechanical bull. Nice place to graze through the different food cuisines, sit on a patio for a beer and people watch. Plan your visit during the day or an evening when nothing is scheduled at the arena. A word of caution -- if there is an event at the arena, it will be wall-to-wall people and, if there are any spots available you will pay for parking. Check area schedule before you go.

Great selection of restaurants and chains (if you insist and steak places are a big NO)....best to hit the Asian and Mexican cuisines here...before and after the stadium games!

I love going to the Westgate Entertainment Area.... it has a lot of great choices to eat for lunch or dinner. They also have lots of things going on all the time, bike night, bands and old car evenings. Plus I was happy to find out they just opened a comedy club ( Stir Crazy) there which we enjoyed as well!!

Many options for dining out. The atmosphere is upbeat and safe. The surroundings at night are lit up with colorful lights and the music is soothing.

Brought family from out of town to Yard House for dinner. Great company and food and touches that make the place rather cool are the large fountains in the back, don’t miss them, and the lights wrapped around the trees at night.

I went here with my cousin to eat before we went to the Coyotes hockey game,this area is full of energy and excitement.There are numerous restaurants and bars and dessert shops along with a movie theater that is all connected to the Gila arena.It is very trendy with many great choices and open air seating as well,there are splash pads for kids,plenty of free parking as well,just a great place to unwind,every city should have an area like this,definitely stop here for the great atmosphere

This is a great place with an Eclectic range of restaurants, unique shops and entertainment. If there’s a football game, stay away ... it’s a nightmare ... unless you like that kind of thing. Fun place to hang out & enjoy good food, good entertainment and people watching.

As Phoenix is flooded with retired people... make sure to arrive early... as these guys have all the time in the world and do arrive early ! Places fill up quick.

When there are no hockey or football games going on in either stadium it's a great place to go for hanging out, catching a movie, shops and restaurants galore. It's a nice outdoor comfortable "mall" of sorts with different destinations within. But avoid this during a game as the parking will become a nightmare. Perfectly fine when no game is going on.

One stop entertainment area. Lots of parking and there's even a shuttle to the Tanger Discount Mall nearby.
Eateries are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

If you’re looking for great food, amazing drinks & great service then you need to go visit Kimberly at the bar next to the restaurant. Not only does she have a great personality, but her home made drink recipes are fantastic. You won’t regret it!!

Lots of restaurants offering a wide variety of food choices. We had warm donuts with a great choice of toppings. The ice rink was closed but there was ice so probably at night and on weekends.

We spent the weekend seeing a Cards and Yotes game, and both times ate and drank at establishments in Westgate. Lots of choices, many that had dressed up and designated themselves to one of the teams. So convenient to both events, it just makes sense to come early and avoid the rush, or stay later for the same reason. Even with the traffic, they organize the flow well and we had no problems getting in and out with rideshare. Great set up.

When I set out to write this review, the first word that popped into my head was "contrived". Just to be sure, I looked up the actual dictionary definition ... i was spot on.

"con·trived, adjective. Deliberately created rather than arising naturally or spontaneously. Created or arranged in a way that seems artificial and unrealistic."

That's exactly how it felt. Like an engineered urban-planner 101 grad. school project for a gated community. Everything was perfectly in place, including the planted landscape, the flowerbed and palm tree lined paths that "naturally" lead you from section to the section, to the garish neon lit courtyard, all designed to funnel you through shopping, dining and entertaining at it's best. Except it just felt artificial and unrealistic, like the dictionary definition.

This place is full of chain restaurants, and nothing with local flavor. If you're looking for an authentic Arizona dining or shopping experience, this is not the place to go. Aside from the palm trees, you could be in any other plaza or outdoor mall in America. It covers 223-acres or shopping, dining, entertainment, high-end condos, parks, and office space - all anchored by Gila River Arena (NHL's Arizona Coyotes) and University of Phoenix Stadium (NFL's Arizona Cardinals).

If you do not know what to eat, you can come here where there are many restaurants and bars that has plenty of food choices to choose from. It's good for family and friends as there is AMC Theatre nearby and space for kids to run around. If you're alone like me, then you will not find this place entertaining.

Westgate is nice place to visit has restaurants/bars a few shops but I feel that it's still missing a few things. They got Dave and busters which helps and Tanger outlets but I feel with the room they have around the area they can keep on adding more things to to help draw more and better crowds like a Scottsdale area.

We just moved to Arizona and Westgate was our first real venture out after settling in. Great time, lots of things to do and see. Live music!

A friend and I came here before and after a show at the Gila River Arena. Had some great tacos at one of the restaurants. The patio section in it was nice and cool thanks to mist fans blowing. After the show we went to a couple of the bars and had a great time. Though it was packed there was a lot going on to keep everyone occupied. Definitely recommend people to check it out while in the area.

This entertainment district is awesome with a variety of shops, restaurants and a movie theater. It is very popular and is lively. There is ample parking and it is complimentary. This area is near the State Farm Arena.

We were in the nearby Holiday Inn Express and ventured over for a look. There are tons of restaurants and bars and they have many special events, like live music and hot rod car shows although not when we were there. The two big sports stadiums are right nearby and a Tanger outlet mall. This is a big venue and a great place to eat.

Really like going here it's a great place to hangout in the evening with my granddaughter and niece. Go see a movie then hangout in a gazebo while the kids cool off and play in the water. The outlet mall there is a great place to do some shopping.

Very convenient to the Renaissance Hotel with lots of good choices. We ate at several and all were very good except McFaddens. McFaddens.....horrible service

There are plenty of choices for eats and drinks at Westgate. Plus, it is so close to Coyotes and Cardinals' games not to mention Desert Diamond Casino.

Nice outdoor mall: not too big and not too small. Not a lot of variety here, but enough, and close to our hotel. Check it out.

We wanted to prolong going home (too hot), so hung around the Renaissance Hotel in Glendale for several days. Did not know when I booked it, that it was right across the street from this huge Westgate Center. We could see it from our room, and had gotten a list of discounts for restaurants when we checked in.

It was scorching hot, and we were not sure that we wanted to take even that short a walk, but glad we did. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went over there three times. The fountains at the main entrance are cooling and lovely. There are benches all along the side, so you can sit, and really feel cool. Many restaurants have misters, so when you walk between the fountains and the misters, you definitely, do not feel that 109 degrees.

Lots and lots of very attractive restaurants. It would be hard to choose, as they all looked so nice from the outside, and the menus looked very tempting. Unfortunately, we only had time for one.

Every time, we were there, we saw mall security, and then, in the evening, even saw police. Many people were there with their small children, who just loved those fountains. During the day, it was not that crowded, but when we left the restaurant after dinner, we could not believe how thick the crowds were. Good place to eat, to stroll, and to socialize.

A nice collection of restaurant and entertainment options including several national chain restaurants plus a few local ones. There is a nice size AMC movie theater, bowling alley, and sports/concert arena. The area is nicely laid out, with benches and common areas, and very clean. The one downside IMHO is the place feels very sterile, there are no residents nearby so the area has the vibe of an amusement park restaurant area rather than any kind of "real" vibe. Certainly a good place to eat and drink prior to or after a movie or event at the arena, but otherwise I'd recommend searching for a local eatery.

Beautiful area, great restaurants, even better bars & clubs, a movie theater, hickey arena, etc. This place is dead during the day but starts to get packed in the evening. Overall, wonderful place to take the family to eat & the fountains are beautiful, too. We really enjoyed sitting around the splash pad and going on bike rides around the area. Will be coming back! Loved this place.

Not far from the condo that where we are staying in for our vacation have gotten to know this area well. Stopped in several times to attend the restaurants, walk about & enjoy the happenings. Lots of great parking & easy to access. Shall visit several times more before our vacation ends.

Good place to go and listen to free concerts by the fountain area. Bands or performers are generally good. But on some nights, there is little effort from the bands.

Superb place filled with good restaurants and many shops. Very close to State Farm stadium, home of the Cardinals in the NFL.

Westgate with the movie theater and all the small shop with restaurants makes for a great evening out. The Tanger Outlet stores, the Gila River arena close by makes walking around shopping easy for everyone.

Westgate provides a venue for just about everyone. Easy access to Hockey, Football stadiums, movie theater, ice rink, restaurants of diverse themes, outlet mall. Parking is

We were in the area to go to a Minnesota Wild Vs Phoenix Coyotes hockey game. We decided to go down early to check out the area around the stadium. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to check out right next to the arena. A huge fountain right out front. A really neat area to check out especially before a game. University of Phoenix Stadium and Gila River Arena are both right next to the plaza.

Stopped by while visiting the area lots of choices for dinner and the live music creates a good vibe. The outlet mall has a decent selection of stores.

If you are looking for a wide variety of food options and a laid back area to chill during a weekday afternoon, this place will hit the spot. We went before a game at Camelback Ranch and had some lunch. There weren't much for shops in the area which I was a little surprised about but definitely no shortage of food choices.

Great bar and restaurant area where you go before and after football and hockey games. The best is you go to a game, you park in their lots, pay for parking, get your money back when you go back to the bars.

Came here for festivities before CFP playoff. Easy parking, good fun and great drinks. Very friendly people.

loved going to this place for eons but NO MORE! if there is an event at the area or stadium, they are charging $20 to PARK?! not all restaurants are included and the Yardhouse is one. apparently, they were not getting reimbursed and decided to get out of it. we've gone to this yardhouse lots of times. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. the $20 charge apparently doesn't benefit the establishments. this corporation is greedy, greedy, greedy. to PARK you have to pay?!!

The Westgate Entertainment District is very lively and I love the fact that there were 21 restaurants to choose from and right across the parking lot was a Premier Outlet Mall.

We came here on two separate nights while in Glendale and really had fun here. There are several good restaurants and a lot of fun shops to explore. The fountain and lighting are a nice addition to the grounds and are really pretty at night.

I was in town for a week, but spent most of my time in Goodyear. My time in Glendale was either spent at the hotel or on the grounds at the Westgate Entertainment District. It was a very nice collection of restaurants, a movie theater, and just a relaxing area to walk through.

We decided to go out for drinks and dinner. We found so many choices at Westgate. Everything is people friendly and within walking distance. We ended up visiting different venues for drinks and one for dinner. A very delightful evening.

Found this area by chance. We stayed at the Renaissance and walked here. Lots of choices to eat and have fun.

Westgate is one of my favorite places to go. Various sports bars, restaurants, hockey stadium, shops and movie theater! You can spend the entire evening there and never run out of things to do and enjoy! Spacious parking, too! The only caution is that if an event is going on, parking can be difficult. Wonderful place!

Adjacent to the NFL (Cardinals) and NHL (Coyotes) venues this is an entertainment area of restaurants, bars and theatres were you can grab a drink or a meal before or after the game. Something for everyone.

So much to see and do in a walkable location. From shopping to eating. Specialty activities during the year including showing off your ride to ice skating. Outlet stores to explore or just hang in the green area near the fountains. Also, if you want to catch a movie, it’s right there. One of my favorite restaurants is the Yard House. Great food and so many beers to choose from. There is something for everyone.

This looks like a really nice venue and I’m sure it’s quiet wonderful when there is no concert across at the stadium. If there is a concert, you will not be able to get out. Plan carefully, bring comfortable shoes and bring lots of money to spend at the restaurants while you are trapped.

What a supercharged and super fun environment! While staying very nearby for Spring Training at Camelback Ranch we came here often for dinner, drinks, to watch sports, to play games, and just walk around. After a late night here, enjoy sitting on a bench watching the lights and fountains to relax before heading back to the hotel.

I’ve been in Arizona almost two years and this was my 1st time to that area. It’s a great place to hang out with friends/family. A must to take out of town guests. There’s something for everyone. Movies,restaurants,shopping, concerts, sports, and hotels. All this within walking distance of it all. I’ve heard this is where the 2023 super bowl is to be held. If so that’s where I be. A local living like a tourist. This is hidden gem.

Lots of good restaurants in this area, very convenient if you are attending a hockey game or staying at a nearby hotel. Parking can be an issue on busy evenings so be prepared to walk a bit.

This is a rare place in the Phoenix Valley because it’s a large open area (like a Latin American plaza) where people gather to hang out and have fun. Yes there are shops and restaurants but it serves much more like a gathering place than those typical outdoor malls.

Great place for fun and great food you can have a Burger from Johnny Rockets or a good steak , nice place for pictures

My wife and I came here to go to the Gila River Arena to see a concert. There are restaurants galore in this complex! A live band was playing outside! An AMC theater is also available. Fun, fun, fun!!!

There's a mixed bag of shopping, dining, and places to hang out. There's an outlet mall adjacent to area and a Cabela's across the street. You can spend all day here if you want. The place is clean and has a nice feel.

Entertainment district was just walking distance from my hotel,so much do do and see. Great location with so many things to do. I wish I would have had more time to visit the whole area.

Westgate has a little bit for everybody! Yummy restaurants. Fun shops. Right now there's ice skating. you can get the vibe from all the different sporting activities and concerts that are held at the Westgate area. Parking is pretty easy there. it's a great place to go for a date or to do some serious shopping.

Always a good show with lots of Classic and custom cars to view. Live music is set up between the fountains. Plenty of good Restaurants to choose from.

Lots of fun options for food and drink. Walking distance from the Cardinals football stadium and the Renaissance hotel. Game day parking is a bear and there will be lines and cover charges at some places on game day as well!

Restaurants and Shopping galore, This entertainment district is very well designed with many upscale eateries. Great indoor and outdoor seating has a very nice atmosphere. Huge selection of name brand and designer outlet stores.

We were there before the Elton John concert and so glad we came early! Very busy place long lines to get into any of the bard on the main level! But there is something for every adult!!

Lots of good restaurants for pregame meals. Do yourself a favor and eat prior to going to the game. Way more reasonable and far superior fare.

Numerous places to eat and drink. Plenty of things to see and do. Concerts, Games, Shows, water fountains, live music.

Glendale Westgate has everything you neeed within waking distance from several hotels. You can eat anywhere from fast food to fine dining. Walk to shopping such as saks 5th avenue, cabelas, etc. at the outlet mall. Walk to watch the cardinals, hockey and other sports at the stadium and arena. Plus freeway is close to venture out to other areas of Phoenix. It's about 15 mins to the raceway as well.

Arrive Early!
This place can be totally busy and seats at premium for and restaurant prior to a game or show, otherwise there's room to roam. Shopping has most of the chains stores that vary from lower cost to high end fashion. The restaurant scene is the reason we've visited. Save your parking pass to have it stamped by a vendor.

Westgate is a great place to go, day or night. We spent the whole day there, starting with lunch at an outdoor patio, sunny day, watching the world go by. Did some shopping, came back for dinner at The Yard House, went to go see a Coyotes hockey game, then hung out rest of the evening and enjoyed the night time atmosphere with music playing, people all about.

You can also go to the movies, and there's even a Dave & Busters. Was a great day, something for everyone.

Music in the air with cool water spraying nearby. This is a nice night out for couples, for a family with teens, or even a family with young children. I have spent many evenings in Westgate. There is a different live band playing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. There is a free splashpad for the young kids. In November and December, it is transformed into a winter scene with a giant Christmas tree and Santa as well. There are free carriage rides offered from Thanksgiving through the end of the year, to coincide with the holidays. Entertainment is plentiful. Bowling, a movie theater, and even (outdoor) ice skating from Thanksgiving through Christmas. It is a great place to go for a date/a night out, for a good steak and a movie. It is a fun place to hang out with teenage children (or to drop them off to hang out), as it is safe and offers many options for entertainment. It is also fun for the young ones. All around, a nice place to spend an afternoon and evening.

Having booked to see the ice-hockey, we decided to have dinner close by, at Westgate, giving us a relaxed early evening. Good choice.
So many great restaurants, bars, dessert bars, etc, to choose from, in a lovely, atmospheric, buzzy place. Nice plaza.

Hint: arrive late afternoon or very early evening to avoid waiting for a table at some of the busier restaurants.

We stayed in the Glendale area to attend a concert at the Gila River Arena. We also visited the AMC 20 movie theatre which was simply stunning ans the best theater complex we have ever seen. There is plenty of parking available at no cost, and there is a never ending selection of dining options. I would highly recommend visiting this entertainment complex if staying close to the Cardinals Football team stadium or attending a venue at the Gila River Arena.

There a plenty of restaurants & things to do. Any place where you can shop, eat, & relax or have fun wins in my book. The movie theater is nice. They literally have every food option you can desire.

Glendale / Phoenix, take advantage of this area. It is set up for your convenience, and so very well done! Delicious food all around, kid-friendly areas, and no-kids areas too! I live in Vegas, and your visiting area is comparable if not exceeding the expectations I have when I spend money. Kudos Glendale and Westgate!!

Start with Shopping at Outlet Mall, then go to movie, dinner & a Hockey game! What more could you ask for. I've done it all on several occasions & had a wonderful time each & every time.

Westgate was great a bit pricey for some people but I felt it was well worth the entertainment value an the potency of drinks . The locals are friendly an helpful . The local law enforcement is on hand to maintain the plensent atmosphere . Everything you would need is in walking distance an marked . There is areas where you can find some quiet an peace an plenty of areas that are alive everynight . Other than the mass of people a fun area to visit .

I shopped at Tanger outlets and decided to cross the street and check out Westgate. It seemed like a good idea to walk but even a short walk in July heat was challenging.

Westgate is beautifully set up with a little children's park in the centre, restaurants, shops and entertainment including a Dave and Busters and AMC.

I had a little shop, lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, then watched a movie.
A fun way to spend the afternoon.

Traveling to the RV show at State Farm stadium, we stopped off at the Westgate area to grab a bite to eat & drink. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars--so much to see! Especially enjoyed the fountains!

There are choices for bars and restaurants for everyone. Easy to get around from local hotels, very clean and security patrolling.

Westgate has restaurants, hockey stadium, football stadium, shopping, an AMC theater and Tanger outlet mall. Weekend nightlife is always hopping.

Nice complex blocks away from Phoenix Stadium win numerous bars, restaurants and stores all in walking distance of one another

We spend five nights in the area for a conference. It's a nice area with lots of great food. However they had a car show one night, hockey another, and a concert another night. Those nights they restricted and charged for parking in the close up lots. We walked from out hotel but would have liked to park a bit closer.

We were early getting to the Gila River Arena for a Coyotes game and we were hungry. So we went to the west gate entertainment district to wander around and get a meal. There were lots of shops and restaurants to choose from and a movie theater. Many of the restaurants are themed so that you can find one that you are interested in to eat and have a beverage. The area is very nice, clean and seems safe. There is even a mini park in the area. Before the game there was a small kids hockey rink set up out front. We went to Shane's and we were quite happy with the BBQ meal. Overall we had a fun evening out with a good meal and a "good ole hockey game".

Fantastic burgers. Inside and outside seating. Attentive wait staff. Good choice of entrees. Will definitely go back.

For the Fiesta Bowl game and walked to the Westgate Entertainment District. There are many restaurants to choose from and they had a live band playing as well. Fun free entertainment withub walking distance.

I am not a big fan of West Gate I do think it is highly overrated and at times over priced. West Gate was originally surposed to be bigger with more offices and buildings to sustain the restaurants and bars.I have lived on the East Side of town that has way more to do including As far out as Gilbert. I do enjoy some of the restaurants in West Gate as I am looking for lunch. At times West Gate can get a little rowdy at night . My favorite bar is Whiskey Rose which has good energy at night. There also is some stores in West Gate and fast food is available. A good sub restaurant is Which Which and Shames is also good for the money . Outlet stores are in walking distance. Dave and Busters is a cool place for kids and adults with games food drinks. If your looking for pool tables in Dave and Busters the have a few its not as big as the Dave and Busters at Desert Ridge or Tempee Market place. My rating is just average if I was to compare West Gate to other valley entertainment districts my rating would be less than Average. So if you don't want to drive to far and your on this side of town I would recommend West Gate or P83 in Peoria.

The Westgate center is a new complex of the two major sports team stadiums and arenas, along with lots of shopping, food and entertainment venues. There are several hotels in the area and many within walking distance. We had lunch at Chipotle on a Sunday and it was very good. Lots of pedestrian areas, too.

This area is aroudn the Hockey and Football stadiums and has all sorts of restaurants, bars, movie theaters. Lots to do and the walking around feeling just looking at this place is neat. 4th of July festivities were going on and it was a great family place.

We enjoyed walking around Westgate before an after our NHL and NFL games, it is such a well-designed area with a great vibe! We returned an additional time to see a movie at the AMC theatre and enjoyed ourselves once again. Really nice area!

We chose to have dinner at Calico Jack's. Great choice and friendly staff. Restaurant had great specials and our server was great!

At this place, you can find a number of food shops, restaurants, cafes etc. You may come across a live music.You can experience ice-skating etc. In short, this place is for eating and entertaining. It's one of very few lively places of Phoenix.

This area is awesome whether going before or after an event at State Farm or Gila River Arena. Can get crowded before and after events but there are so many places to go to you are bound to find a place to go. Too many places to list all of them but if you can’t find a place to satisfy your palette here you are way too picky. Will definitely go back again and again when we are in Glendale.

There is so many places to eat it is hard to choose. Dave and Busters and move theater. Attached to stadium. You have to go here. Excellent music in the small park - kids loved the splash pad.

This really is a well planned entertainment area. There is such a variety of restaurants you simply cannot go wrong. The place is alive and fun. Beautiful water fountains adorned with desert palm trees all lit up give it s special touch. There are shops, a huge movie theatre and the Gila Arena attached to it. What a well thought concept. Some great hotels nearby as well.

We were in Glendale for the Fiesta Bowl and visited the district to eat and watch a movie. It is a well constructed area with lots to do. There is even a small ice-skating rink (outdoor). There are shops and restaurants and a nice water fountain for photo ops. It's a must visit in Glendale.

This place has plenty of restaurants, One of my favorite stores is the sweets store. A Great place to have a few Drinks with your friends or family before you go in to watch a sporting event. It also have some great Courtyard.

With AMC theater complex and various restaurants, lots of place s to shop, and the Fountains at the back are so beautiful and relaxing.Fun place to people-watch and hang-out eith friends and family or alone. Lots of spaces to park too
