An unbelievable collection of sculptures accrued over many years. Eclectic variety in all sizes and tastes...something for everyone, a relaxing, easy walk with lots of photo ops.

Enjoy the art, the path, and the evening! Wish the fire/smoke wasn't as severed as it was, but truly a wonderful locale.

We learned about this park through friends who stumbled across it while visiting in the local area. What a neat job the city of Loveland has done creating this. Comprised of all different types of sculpture, mostly bronzes, but some marble and other mediums, there are a wide variety of subjects, artists and styles represented. We thoroughly enjoying wandering through the beautiful park and "discovering" new pieces.

I visit the Benson Park Sculpture Garden twice a day when I pet sit for my daughter in Loveland. I take my daughter's greyhound for a walk there in the morning and evening. The park is very well maintained, nice sidewalks, benches near the restrooms, a couple of picnic tables. For dog owners there are two places to get poop bags in the park and trash cans available. The sculptures are so beautiful and have different styles from traditional Western themes to very abstract. New sculptures are added from time to time. There is a really whimsical children's sculpture area. Some of the sculptures are placed really well into the landscape. There is a big sculpture festival in August. Some of the sculptures have been adopted by local people and have nice small gardens around the base of the sculpture. It is a very special place, I have invited friends from the Denver area who have heard of it and they are always surprised that there is such a beautiful sculpture park so close to home. The sculptures look amazingly different at different times of day and different times of the year.

Beautiful location to walk around and look at the sculptures. Plenty of places to sit or have a picnic. Its close to residential area and split with a main road, but doesn't take away from the charm.

This is an amazing park with lovely handicap accessible access to all sculptures and eating areas. Lovelier in summer months, and home to the annual International Sculpture in the Park held on the second weekend of August, it is a wonderful destination year round to take a brisk walk or leisurely stroll around the ponds. It is indeed one of Loveland's finest parks and each year they add several amazing sculptures so there is always a surprise

A very nice surprise, and FREE!! I think there were over 130 sculptures spread around this park, with great pathways. If you are in Loveland do not miss this. And there are some Sculpture galleries around downtown that are great to visit too!

We did this for our morning walk, this is a beautiful park for taking a walk. There is limited parking. There are walking paths, benches and ponds. The park has 150 plus sculptures. Each piece an amazing work of art.

Great place. Everybody enjoyed the sculputers, the serenity and beauty. Recommend it to familt with children.

The park is terribly undersold. You can spend a day looking at over 150 pieces of incredible sculpture! The collection is worth over $4 million. It is placed around a series of ponds, and the park is immaculate.

We live in Loveland and have visited the Sculpture Garden many times...take time to read the captions....wonderful place to take out of town guests.....

This outstanding park incorporates diverse sculpture pieces into a wetland area, turning what would be a nice place to stroll into a captivating outdoor art walk. The sculptures are stunning and well placed to fully take advantage of their location. Some even invite the viewer to interact with for fun photography. A must see if in the area.

Took a half hour walk through this park with my two younger children. Bathrooms onsite. Sculptures are varied, realistic to abstract. There are many, keeps kids entertained. (Also it's a great Pokemon Go spot). Pretty unique place to walk in peace and get inspired.

Paved paths around two large ponds with a variety of interesting bronze art work. This is a very relaxing and beautiful ares.

THis is one of the most beautiful inner city parks we have see. THe sculptures are, by and large, excellent. Very enjoyable to walk here.

Who would have thought that there is a walking park on 29th Street in Loveland Colorado that features millions of dollars worth of sculpture by nationally and internationally known artists. If you are looking for the supreme artistic and ethereal escape take the time to walk through and absorb the majestic and whimsical expressions in brass, marble and other mediums in Benson Park, an outdoor gallery. The walking trails are lined with major sculpture works that will thrill and excite persons of almost any age. Pause and have a picnic lunch in the pavilion or relax on a bench and take in the beauty of one of the many highly skilled artists' works. This visual and mental escape is well worth the trip regardless of how far you have to travel to see it. Access is free to the public and all the paths are easily traversed.

Enjoyable nature stroll thru beautiful sculptures around a lake and over bridges. The sculptures are remarkable - artistic and realistic! Nice walking paths and handicap accessible. Pkeanth of parking on the streets.

Wonderful walk through the park with a variety of sculptures and styles. I personally like the true-to-life type of sculptures. The more modernistic shapes don't appeal to me as much.

Even if you are not interested in art, you and your family will love the Sculpture Garden in Loveland. Get out of you car and wander down the path between sculptures of all types great and small. Some are whimsical, others realistic. All all you to walk around and enjoy the artistic talent of domestic and international sculpture artists. You may want to attend the annual event in August of the Sculpture in the Park! There you can buy what you see albeit for a pretty price. But don’t you need a little something in your house to peak visitors interest?

I take all of my out of town visitors to Benson park for a lovely walk throughout the sculptures. We enjoy the children's section as much as the general walk. Every summer there is a huge sculpture show featuring local to international artists. Across the street there is a wonderful craft fair, also featuring local crafters and more.

While in Loveland. A walk through the sculpture garden is a lovely experience. Variety is the key. Many different artists and styles guarantee you will find enjoyment.

We have gone through this garden many times. It is very nice, clean and the sculptures are so beautiful.

Put it on your bucket list for Colorado! Beautiful place to visit any time of year, but especially in sunny weather. Nice walk, you can go barefoot :) take your visiting family!

Loveland is a haven for bronze sculptures and artists. This park is one of the best. Great walk around a pond, and many works to see.

I loved my time walking around and touching the art in this the large park. A must visit for art lovers and families alike who visit Loveland.

I have spent quite a bit if time in this park enjoying all the amazing sculpture. New ones are added each year. This is a must see stop in Loveland.
It is FREE!

This is definitely worth a detour on the I-25! Lovely outdoors sculptures, a relaxed garden to stroll in, and a section for kids, too!

Always a hit to combine art and nature. Great to stretch our legs and enjoy the varied sculptures. I would guess that it's about a one mile walk - the major part, that is, north of 29th. But one could walk much more by meandering off the path to view the sculptures close up. Serene and inspiring.

This sculpture park appeals to people of all ages! We marvel at the extraordinary detail in the native American's face, the way the artist captured the bobcat chasing the rabbit, or the girl selling flowers. Our grandchildren love the many sculptured animals which just seem to come alive. It's definitely worth an hour or two of your time!

Benson Park is amazing to walk alone or with your four-legged fur baby. There are a couple of options for short or longer walks on well maintained sidewalks that weave through this amazing bronze sculpture park. Give yourself some extra time. Although I have walked through Benson Park many times throughout the years, I am always pleasantly surprised. Newly planted flowers and sculptures bring me joy. I have discovered artists drawing or writing in seclusion found among the cattails and surrounding foliage.

With a little extra time while staying in Greeley, we decided to venture over to nearby Loveland and take in two different recommended sculpture gardens there. The Benson Park Sculpture Garden is an outdoor display of over 170 pieces. There are sculptures spread throughout the ten-acre park with easily accessible paved paths to walk on that allow you to get up close to most statues. The sculptures are on two sides of a busy main road (29th Street). Use caution when crossing from one side to the other. The sculptures range from highly realistic traditional bronze statues to more abstract sculptures to whimsical pieces like the banana on roller skates (On a Roll by Jack Hill). The park is usually open. There is free off-street parking (can be limited when the park is very busy) or nearby parking on the streets. It is a pet friendly park. It is a great place for an outdoor stroll as you take in the exhibit. There is no fee to enter the sculpture garden. The park has water features and provides many photo opportunities.

This is the biggest sculpture garden in the US. It is absolutely beautiful, with incredible sculptures set amongst the water and gardens. From dragonflies in the water to a children garden where kids can play and crawl over sculptures. The sculptures are so detailed and truly unique.

I office close by and meet and talk to people daily about how very much they all love the sculptures and how they marvel at all the local sculpting talent Loveland has to offer...

Very well maintained park with sidewalks to walk along a path of beautiful sculptures, the park also has public bathrooms, playground, gazebo, and benches. Great area to hang out and enjoy an afternoon

Thus us a great place to bring guest that come into town. The walk is very easy and the sculptures are amazing!

Rated as the number one thing to do. Very cool sculptures with a lot of paved paths. Great outdoor activity. You should go here if in Loveland.

We took an evening stroll around one section of this garden. It is lovely and we enjoyed looking at the varied art in a beautiful setting. We have not experienced anything similar outside of Loveland. Worth a visit - you could take a quick stroll or spend hours.

This is one of the most beautiful parks that I've walk through. The sculptures are so captivating, beautiful, you need to find it. So many to see. I like Colorado a lot, the artists have created master pieces. Great Job!

Benson sculptor park is a wonderful place if you are a lover of art. There are multiple statues throughout the park and it is a fantastic place to go for a walk and enjoy the artwork.

Excellent place just to walk around and view the sculptures. Free parking and free to view. A few pavilions where you could have a picnic as well.

If you haven't been to the Benson Park you need to go to experience the charm and artistry of Loveland. It's a great place to take pictures, which means you may have to wait at times to get close to your favorites. It's a great trail to walk and places to sit and enjoy a picnic.

We weren't sure how the kids would feel about going to a sculpture garden, but we were looking for a way to avoid the crowds over Labor Day weekend. The kids (and we) really had a great time. The park itself is beautiful and nicely landscaped. In some instances the landscaping was an integral part of the sculptures. Some were more hands-on, and some were not. The kids both found favorites, as did we. There are benches and picnic tables scattered about, and of course plenty of grassy and shady spots to rest. A lovely pond with some fountains runs throughout, the water area toward the north end is definitely more fetid and a little unpleasant, but it's natural.
We were not able to see the whole park, as it was extremely hot. We're all looking forward to going back on some crisp fall weekend.

Really cool place for an afternoon out. Lots to see, very relaxing, and nice to just wander through the park looking at the sculptures. Then you can cross the street for the playground!

When friends or family come to Loveland, this is the first place I want to take them! It reflects the character of our town - full of art, beauty, and open spaces. Benson Sculpture Garden is a perfect place for a walk, picnic, or scenic location for special photos, like for your family reunion or your kid's Homecoming dance (as our family did). The sculpture park contains more than 158 sculptures in a beautiful setting among trees and water, one block east of Taft on 29th Street.
The sculpture garden was the brainchild of five Loveland sculptors - George Lundeen, Dan Ostermiller, George Walbye, Fritz White, and Hollis Williford - who fostered the idea of a sculpture show in Benson Park. This came to fruition, and, today, there are three different shows during Loveland Art Shows Weekend the second weekend of every August, attracting visitors and art collectors from around the world.
The park is walkable, easily accessible for those in wheelchairs, and there is parking in the neighborhood around the park. It's only about a five-minute drive north of Loveland's charming historic downtown, so if you can, take the time to go for coffee or lunch afterwards and stroll around the shops and galleries in the area near 4th Street. If you want to see more art or learn about the town's history, the Loveland Museum Gallery, at the corner of 5th Street and Lincoln, is a great place to do both.

We were vacationing in Estes Park and drove to Loveland to see this park. It was a beautiful day. The weather could not have been better.
Nice walk to see amazing sculptures. Be sure to read the name of sculptures. Don't move on without viewing all sides of the pieces. Put this on your bucket list!!!

The Benson Park Sculpture Garden is amazing in the collection of sculptures of all varieties and a huge number of them. All are in a lovely park surrounding a small lake. And it's all FREE!

We were at a Walmart and the sales person suggested we visit the sculpture park while in Loveland as we were only there for a few hours. It was a lovely stroll with good bird viewing and many interesting sculptures.

This is such a great place to go for a walk and admire numerous artist's bronze sculptures. It has multiple resting spots and a pavilion to sit in the shade if you like.

I didn’t look this one up first on trip advisor and just saw some signs on the road. I’m glad I did. I didn’t even see the whole park, but enjoyed the walk. On the south end of the park there were fishermen on the lake also that I watched for a bit. I didn’t have much time but I will make time the next time I’m in Loveland.

We walked this park, taking in all the sculptures. They run the gamut from traditional to contemporary. Quite a few are Western-themed, as you might expect. I like that there's a special area for kids. Definitely worth a visit!

This sculpture park is the most amazing collection of high quality art you will see. Having visited the San Francisco art gallery outdoor sculpture area and been disappointed I can now say that this collection is superb. The huge collection set in the most beautiful gardens along side a river allows viewers time and space to contemplate the art . Concrete paths allows for prams and there are benches and seated covered areas for viewers to rest . There is a playground and picnic area with a little train for kids to ride . All in all the art trustees are to be congratulated on one of the finest sculpture gardens you you could find

This was a very enjoyable side trip. The beautiful sculptures are awesome! Lots of places to sit & rest. And the price of “free” is refreshing. Am so glad the folks @ the Visitors Center recommended it.

Beautiful sculpture garden in a park. Walk along looking at the various styles - many surprises along the way. Highly worth a drive up to I’d say about 90 minutes.

We spent an hour walking the paved trails to see as many sculptures as we could in the time we had. It was a beautiful day and this setting is relaxing, quiet, full of beauty.
The talented sculptors are a gift to all who visit. We brought our lunch and enjoyed the picnic tables. Don't miss this wonderful place if you are in Loveland.

This is a beautiful park to view sculptures, go for a stroll, and enjoy a picnic. Picnic tables are located throughout as well as benches. There is a beautiful pavilion for family pictures.

Winding trails lead you through trees, grass and across bridges with amazing sculptures along the way. Benson Park is deceivingly large because the smooth paths cover so much of the property, yet are "isolated" thanks to ground cover and cattails. Adults will love the variety of both abstract and realistic art (primarily bronze) while the kids will enjoy the interactive pieces inviting them to ride a crocodile, join in a group of "children" playing ring-around-the-rosie, giggle at the giant rabbits and frogs, and smile at the sledful of children racing down a snowy (white marble gravel) incline. This is a great place to see dragonflies, too! Plan to spend at least an hour--but up to 4 hours to actually see all of the statues and read the information. DON'T STICK TO THE PATH! Be sure to actually walk around the statues in order to see and appreciate all of the detail. The pavilion house (restrooms) also features bronze reliefs that are equally beautiful and interesting.
Suggestion . . . download the map to help you maneuver the park. And a suggestion for Loveland--please include a brief statement by the artist about his/her vision for the piece.

One thing I have learned the hard way is to enjoy an attraction that is right under your nose! I lived in my home town, Philadelphia for years and years before FINALLY going to the Art Museum and Independence Halll. Ditto: The idiot (me) who lived in Tempe, AZ before finally being shamed into going to the Grand Canyon. In Loveland a special treasure is right under our noses -- the Benson Park Sculpture Garden. I have now been there numerous times. The added attraction comes from the periodic addition of new artworks. There are so many fabulous pieces of art, varying from the modernistic to the symbols of the Old West. Some work is family -- the kids playing together or the proud Indian Chief. If you really want to fully enjoy Loveland know that the Benson Park is special but you can find art all around this city of sculpture and other art!. What talented artists and support for art here.

This is a gorgeous meandering walk through a park with water features and sculptures strategically placed along the path. These sculptures were purchased from artists who bring their work to the annual Loveland Sculpture Show that is during the second weekend in August. I recommend doing what you can to visit during this time.
What is great about this sculpture park is it's eclectic mix of styles of exhibits, mixing traditional, contemporary, and edgy pieces located throughout the park that has a little shade and benches near the sculptures. This is another of the places to visit more than once.

Sculptures are very cool. Paved walking path. Center of town. Nice break from shopping or good walk after eating

My husband and I enjoy the Benson Park Sculpture Garden ourselves, but also like to take out of town company there. The sculptures vary from traditional to modern, and lots of them would have appeal to children--many animals. Each piece is nicely placed, and you can wander, enjoy, and take photos. There are lots of places to sit, and a picnic would work very well, too. It has never been crowded when we have visited.

Been to quite a few sculpture parks. This one is quite large. The settings are wonderful as are the sculptures. You can spend an hour or several hours.

We happened to see a street sign and were curious. One of our best ever “side trips”! My wife and I parked our car, got out and saw a circular walk that passed by a variety of sculptures, thinking the half block or so that we could see was the entire sculpture garden. About half way around we noticed some statues on the other side of a small pond. We continued walking for nearly two blocks, and never crossed to the other side of the pond. Needing to start back to Estes Park, we got in the car to drive around to see what we had missed; two blocks of more amazing works of art. At the end of that block we realized there was another large sculpture garden across the street from the first! We kept saying “wow” as we drove past dozens more sculptures adjacent to Loveland High School. Don’t miss this truly beautiful place!

My son and I walk here almost daily. I love that there are so many things to look at. The park is kept clean and there are so many beautiful sculptures. Seeing the geese on the water is fun too. Waking the whole part is about 2 miles and is paved with sidewalks all the way around.

Quaint, Quiet Park. Nice sculptures. If passing through, I would take 1/2 hour to see it. The park looked clean.

Take a walk through the garden and look at the great art work. Restrooms available. Check because they might be locked part of the year. Great activity for the whole family

This was a wonderful park to walk in and see all the sculptures. Some of them were absolutely beautiful, others were funny. My husband and I really enjoyed our walk around the park and think that everyone should take advantage of this free park.

The Benson Sculpture Park is a jewel and truly a community asset in this cultural community of Loveland. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the varied works of so many excellent sculptors in a beautiful park and garden setting. Thank you to the arts council for their many years of commitment to create this treasure.

It was just my wife and I, but this would be a great place to take young children. The walkway is paved and you can make your walk as long or as short as you'd like. The sculptures are great and there's something for everyone!

This sculpture park has a great number of castings for viewing in an open air setting. The castings are of multiple studies and are in my opinion outstanding. There is a small body of water surrounded by a grassy area upon which the art is located. Very nice place to visit. It is open to the public at no charge with free on street parking.

Extremely pleasant, easy walking for a casual conversation and get together with friends. Very nice, especially when the weather is nice.

I thought this park was really neat. We spent a good amount of time looking at all the sculptures. There was a couple of other parks that had sculptures also. A good way to spend part of a day.

Nice leisurely walk through a beautiful sculpture park with breathtaking sculpture from I believe artists from around the globe.

Visited this attraction on a beautiful cool day. The sculptures are varied and spread out through a large beautiful landscaped park. Definitely will return to see the sculptures we missed this time. Would have given an "excellent" rating except felt frustrated that there was no literature available about the sculptures and the artists.
The plaques just gave basic information.

This is a pleasant walk with so many different kinds of sculptures. My grandchildren like to take pictures of themselves with some of the photos and it is something that I enjoy too. It appeals to a large variety of interests and all for free. Great!

Nice curvy trail with natural glasses and trees mixed with modern sculptures. If you want a nature walk or simply want to stretch your legs from a road trip this is your spot.

Such a neat place!!!! Definitely worth a visit. Good amount of shade and a couple nice picnic spots! Great investment from the city and kept so nice!

I walk my poodle around the park each day - it's a special place
I meet people from all over the USA and the world visiting the park.
The annual bronze show in August is great.

My sister and I went here. The sculptures were varied and we'll taken care of. The grounds were we'll taken care of also.

Beautiful area in Loveland, Colorado to walk around and enjoy looking at all the sculptures. Each one is unique and interesting. Nice pathways and shady.

Planning a family wedding for our son from TX at the Gazebo. Will be a very nice setting in July. Looking forward to having a small gathering of family and friends.

I had read about this for many years and decided to take advantage of an unusually warm fall day to check it out. Lovely path through a variety of different styles of sculpture. Enjoyed both the walk and the variety. If you are a geocacher, there are several caches here that you can explore as well. Be advised, the virtuals require you to pick up clues along the way. Well worth the investment of an afternoon. Don't be in a hurry, and make sure you amble around the side paths to pick up all of the different displays -- including the plaques on the restroom building. Enjoy!

Benson park is beautiful, unique, and wonderful for any age group. Easy walking and unique sculptures.

We walked the paths and "discovered " the unique or beautiful or quizzical sculptutes. I believe there is a wondrous sculpture for all tastes. Take your time to seek out each one... It is an easy walk though long if you criss cross paths. Raise your life experience and go check it out. It is a nice park setting.

One of the best we have seen. This park is on both sides of the main road. The park is very well maintained.Great selection of sculptures. Really enjoyed this sculpture park.

I have seen sculpture gardens before, but none that compare to this one. The setting is beautiful and the sculptures are diverse and wonderful. The range from the introspective to the clever to the delightful to the breathtaking. We wish we’d had far more time than se did to spend here. Plan on at least 2 hours - more if you are a sculpture aficionado.
It is definitely the #1 thing to see in Loveland.

Good time for families, couples or a solitary walk. The gardens are lovely, the pond and marshes are beautiful and the sculptures are fantastic. We spent 2 hours walking and didn’t see all there was to see. Worth going to over and over again.

we are lucky enough to live close to the sculpture park. I often take walks here as it is a peaceful place to relax. It is very busy the second weekend in August when the park is host to a sculpture show and sale. Artists from all over the world come here to display their sculptures. It is breathing taking to see the beautiful art in all forms of media and style. If you are an art buff this is well worth the trip.

Found this place by accident and we were so pleased we did as it was a joy to see the brilliant sculptures

Was in town visiting family when I saw the sign for the sculpture garden. Thinking it would be a nominal experience, I drove to see the limited items. Boy, was I wrong! There are more than 164 pieces arrayed around the grounds and each one invites closer inspection. Save time on your journey to Rocky Mountain National Park for this hidden gem of a park!

The sculptures are great to look at and there is a wonderful sidewalk and benches if you need to rest.

We were here on Saturday for the 2017 sculpture show and altho THAT was underwhelming for us......the sculpture garden never is. We wander and stop to relax and people watch. it's a Loveland GEM.

Bring your cameras! The beautiful art deserves more than phone photos! Great for old and young and very child friendly. Easy parking, decent restrooms centrally located.

Went with group of friends to Benson sculpture park. Very neat art work. Many made from bronze. Easy walking tour that's free. They add new sculpture every year. So many beat ones hard to pick a favorite. The eyes on them look real like they are looking at you. If looking for something to do this is a nice place to go and enjoy art.

This was a nice surprise. It was easy to find and is located in a neighborhood. The setting was lovely and had different themes for the beautiful bronze sculptures. The walk was easy and the garden was unique with nice walkways. I really enjoyed my time there and it is free.

This is more than just a walk in the park...it is a walk through an amazing (& sometimes interactive) art gallery. It is a must-see for all of our out of town visitors!

The park is free and the sculptures are amazing. Children will love some of the whimsical animal ones to be photographed with. Adults love the detail. This is a must stop. I suggest you allow at least an hour to walk around.

The park is very nice. Easy access. Parking is located around the park. An easy stroll. There are a lot of items too see. Some are placed where you need to LOOK to find them. Very enjoyable.

Located at 2908 Aspen Drive in Loveland, Colorado, Benson Sculpture Garden has provided a beautiful and unique outdoor setting for showcasing sculpture since 1985. It is here that the Loveland High Plains Arts Council hosts its renowned Sculpture in the Park event each summer. Currently, there are 172 pieces of sculpture on permanent display by world-renowned artists worth over $5 million. This 10-acre park includes handicap accessible sidewalks, a public restroom and several picnic areas.

Benson sculpture park is an outstanding collection of public art — just waiting there to be enjoyed. The park is so unassuming, we’d driven by for years not knowing what we were missing. Go ahead and stop and stroll a bit. There is a sidewalk network that makes it easy to visit a few dozen widely varied but beautiful sculptures in a half hour. Arranged around a small lake, many sculptures are situated in a setting where they just fit in. New installations are added regularly.

This sculpture garden has something for everyone and if you look real close you can almost see the new sculptures sprouting from where they have been planted.

Great, extensive gardens with fun sculptures. Worth stopping for an hour's stroll. Short detour off main routes. Fun for kids too.

Some amazing sculptures and a beautiful display gently woven through the landscape. We spent 3 hours photographing the sculptures and didn't finish so plan to go back soon to complete the series.

What a wonderful place! I was visiting Loveland on a work related trip and needed some time away from the office, this was the perfect place to visit. A very beautiful park with amazing sculptures! It was a perfect outing to enjoy the beautiful park and the fantastic art work. Will definitely go back again, highly recommended!

This park is situation just a mile north of Hwy 34 just past Lake Loveland. It's a lovely stroll through the park to see all the sculptures and the wonderful plants. The trail winds around a central lagoon. It's a beautiful place to have pictures taken or a picnic.

My daughter works near by so we've walked the park a few times. The sculptures are beautiful and it's a great little spot to enjoy some green space in the middle of town

What a treasure. We were in Loveland for a family reunion and this was on the way to cousin’s house. I am an amateur photographer and this was a great place to practice. It is BIG, so make sure you have at least an hour if not more to walk through.

We spent a fun few hours strolling this sculpture garden. Wonderful mix of whimsy, modern, nature and western culture sculptures to enjoy. We didn't have the guide you can buy at various spots around Loveland and wish we had. I believe it's for sale at the Loveland visitor center so we'll get one before we take guests to see it. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Loveland!

Loveland has a great sculpture culture and some of the great examples can be seen at the Benson park. I highly recommend it!

The down town area of Loveland, don't blink, is very well kept up and clean. The sculptures interestiung.

This place is a huge park with lots of cool statues to look at. Besides that it is a great place to play pokemon with lots of pokestops at may statues. Enjoy some statues, catch some pokemon, have a lovely day.

Loveland is an Art/Sculpture epicenter. Benson Park is very unique and a must experience for residents and vistors.

This is a great place to take visitors for a walk. The paths are wide and meandering. The sculptures are interesting. Great place for pictures.

Loveland, Co., is an artsy town, and Benson Park is full of it. Statues are mostly what you'll see, since it is out doors, but the walk is nice, and the talent displayed is pretty awesome. Pick the right time though, as there isn't much shelter in the event of weather. Good way to kill an hour or so.

Great time in Bensen Park on Wednesday August 9th; exercise and plenty of sculptures to view and admire. Great talent, appealing art work and a very clean and spacious park. Great educational opportunity as well. Get out and enjoy it one and all

The sculptures are magnificent. Some are so life like. Loved just walking around and taking it all in. Something for everyone.

Always amazed at the marvelous sculptures in this park. Fun walking through any time of the year and different time of the day or early evening!

This is a really great collection of sculptures in a wetland setting. We really enjoyed visiting the park and walking the trails. There is a wide variety and large quantity of sculptures to see. I'm sure everyone would find something of interest here. We were a little confused by the hours of the street parking. However, we realized we could park in the nearby park and visit the sculpture garden. The park is also divided by a busy road without a crosswalk. We were a little concerned when we crossed the street. The city should at least put a marked crosswalk for visitors and residents.

Loveland has been a mecca for sculpture for decades, in part due to the fact that it has a bronze foundry here. Benson sculpture park is a must-see if you're ever in Loveland. It's full of dozens of sculptures, all which sit along well-groomed paths through beautiful trees, shrubs, and grassy ponds. If you're into Pokémon Go, this park is the best place in town for Pokestops and gym battles. And if you're not into Pokémon, you'll love it anyway because all the Pokémon are invisible! Seriously, though, it's a fabulous park. I recommend visiting in the early morning or evening, when the light is perfect for taking photos.

I was in Loveland on business and I took my sister to see these beautiful Sculptures. I used to live in Loveland and I always enjoyed seeing them and this is just an expansion of what I saw 20 years ago. It is amazing! These sculptures are so life like. If you are a lover of Art you must see these beautiful works of art. They are absolutely amazing!!!!

This has to be the best Municipal park in the country. The trail is a concrete sidewalk that winds itself around the middle of a small town and allowed us a welcome respite to our journey.
And then there is the fabulous collection of sculptures and bronzes that rival the finest museums. If you have an hour or just 15 minutes, get off the interstate and tour this park. You will not be disappointed.

Husband and I wanted to take a quick trip in our newest RV, so we decided to head north to the City of Loveland to visit friends. They graciously took us to the Benson Sculpture Garden. What a fantastic place. I had read about the plethora of artists in Loveland and how the city has embraced art up there, however I had no idea if how much. The Benson Sculpture Garden is a must see for everyone! The sculptures you will see are amazing.

Neat sculptures of all kinds. Spent the day here walking the paths and taking pictures. Good family outing.

A tribute to the arts that you can see while driving to the Rocky Mountain National Park.....Each sculpture has great detail. There was a bike/walking trail that we didn't have time to enjoy.

Beautiful sculptures, well kept and clean. Nice quiet place to sit, relax and enjoy the day. There is a small river that had a nasty smell and a trash dumpsters very visible.

We were recently on a trip to Loveland with our 5 young kids (ages 2-9). We stopped here to kill some time while waiting to check into our hotel. The park has a great playground, but the statues were a lot of fun to walk around and talk about. My kids were almost running to see what the next was on the trail was. They asked to go back the next day when we were done hiking. It was a good little place to let them just be kids.

My 13 year old daughter and I visited the sculpture park as part of our mother daughter trip. She picked this activity, and I’m glad she did. It was very peaceful and and the sculptures were amazing! It took us several hours to see everything, but we took tons of pictures and really took time read about the pieces. Great place for all ages, will definitely be back.

We’d never heard of this park until our first visit to Denver. What a treat! Winding paths through a beautiful park make it a joy to be in. The bronze sculptures seem to each have their own story. There were plenty of benches throughout for those that can’t walk long distances. We’ll go back if we’re ever in Denver again. Oh! And it’s free!

This is a wonderful place to visit. The statues are very well done and there is a great variety of subjects. Very pleasant place to talk a leisurely walk to admire them all.

My daughter and son-in -law got married in the park a year ago. They chose a little bridge to hold the ceremony on. It was a great place for puncture taking too.

A very extensive display of art in several mediums and styles...from impressionistic to still life. Our three teen grandkids really enjoyed the walk and discussing what the various artists meant with the titles of their art.
There’s something here for every taste.
A must stop for 90 minutes+ if any where in the area.

The largest juried sculpture garden . Infinite sculptures of very high quality, variety. Amazing collection
Good luck seeing everything ! Really impressive. Wear a hat.

We were recommended to check out this sculpture park at the welcome center. We got out and saw a few sculptures and figured we'd see them all in a few minutes. After an hour of walking around, and the sun setting, we never saw them all.
Great detail on the sculptures and great pieces.

One of the best walks you will ever take -- and no fee to enter! Don't miss it. We spent two hours there and didn't finish.
will have to go again.

What an enjoyable time with easy parking and open free to public. This is an open park where you can walk around and take in what seems to be endless sculptures. The art ranges to all types and subjects. You can spend 20 minutes or over an hour taking in all the works of art, most from local artists. Has a children's area. Definitely worth a stop.

Park has a trail with a lot of unique sculptures along the way.
Good photo opportunities!
Trail is paved. Good stop for family. All ages would enjoy!
If you are looking for a scenic nature vibe, this park does not deliver. It reminded me of an outdoor museum.

My husband and I last viewed the sculptures years ago with a newly-found relative. After a birthday brunch at Golden Corral, we had some time before the library opened, so we toured about half of the sculpture garden. We were not alone -- dog walkers, young couples in love, teen photogs, family groups, and single moms with picnics and hyperactive children were also enjoying the grass, flowers, sculptures, and each other. The paths do not allow a single way to see the whole place in some sort of coherent order, but the Children's Section is great (got a cute photo of my husband with his hand in the crocodile's mouth) and the buddy sculptures are plentiful. My favorite sculpture was the three hunting cats, but there is such a wide variety that everyone will find something they like -- farm and wild animals, children, free form abstracts, Native Americans, comic book characters, etc. And the flora is nice, too, with flowering trees and new growth. Some statues need to be cleaned. The restrooms are wonderful and the building is decorated with small relief sculptures created by artists who have been participating in the annual High Plains summer sculpture show for 17 to 25 years, and the listing of 78 artists and their years of board membership was interesting, as were the small plaques noting citizens who have adopted various sculptures. Video monitoring is apparent in the large covered space, and there is ample free parking. Don't block anyone's driveway, and be careful not to stumble into the water features (one swampy area used to be used for ice skating) and the resident-only parking spaces. A lovely place for a wander or a walk, however much time you have, and be sure to bring your camera.

When visiting Denver, we wanted to explore the outdoors, get fresh air, and do some walking/hiking and thought this sculpture garden would be a perfect way to start! It is #1 on Tripadvisor for Loveland.
We were a bit disappointed by how small the park is. We printed a map first which showed lots and lots of sculptures but when we got there they didn’t line up with the map.
We saw a good variety of sculptures – some we liked and some we found just a bit strange. The best part of our walk was watching birds quarrel in a tree and squirrels playing tag near by. Which does make me wonder how this park got such a top rating in tripadvisor?

I had frequently driven through Loveland without ever knowing about the Benson Sculpture Garden, now that I have been made aware of it, I have visited twice this year alone! There are over 150 pieces on permanent display in a most beautiful setting. Just park your car and start walking... no charge! Most of the sculptures are bronze and large. They range from abstract to quite realistic, something for everyone... actually many somethings for everyone. Different artists works are on display, so there isn't just one style. As I said the setting is beautiful and many people just go there to jog or walk and I sure don't blame them.
Add this to your must sees if you are in northern Colorado!

It was a nice park with a beautiful variety of sculptures with a walking trail around a pond. It was worth the stop.

Beautiful park full of amazing art sculptures. Can not wait to check out the rest of Loveland's art in public places.

Perfect place to visit for exposure to beautiful bronze sculptures from local foundries while taking in a leisurely walk.

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with this place. A nice walk in a well landscaped park with lots and lots of beautiful sculptures. A perfect place to visit any time of the year.

The Benson Park Sculpture Garden is a great stroll through a beautiful park filled with beautiful sculptures. There is a wonderful variety of subject matter. Good for adults and children alike.

What a lovely setting for world class art! This garden is located in Loveland, CO. Sculptures are installed among beautiful flower beds and tree-lined walk ways. It’s a great place for kids, too! Explore the children’s sculpture garden, pack a picnic and play among great works of art.

Since we have recently moved to Loveland....and have had MANY visitors since....this is a delightful place to stroll, visit and be inspired by the WONDER-full scultures! Love the 'interactive' nature of several of the pieces!!

peaceful walk around the park with some of the most beautiful & detailed sculptures (mostly bronze) placed around a beautiful lake and marsh area. I live in the area & never get tired of walking around admiring the sculptures & the park on a great day outside

This park is open to the public at no cost. It has two sections which are located across the street from each other (there is a traffic light to help you cross the road safely). Each section have parking spaces, again at no cost. One location is next to Loveland High School - called North Lake Park, and the other location is in a quiet residential area. There are a lot of interesting and beautiful sculptures to admire. It seems that most of the sculptures next to the high school are of smaller scale compared to the other location, but are still wonderful to admire. The grounds and sidewalks are very nicely maintained. There are restrooms available there (in the residential side). Dogs on leashes are welcome, just be sure to clean up after them.

This is a beautiful, easily accessible park, with a large variety of sculptures. I was there for the Arts Festival and really enjoyed just walking around.

We were told about the Benson garden and went and looked around and spent about 2 hours . You could spend a lot longer there looking at the scores of sculptures and reading about them. There is a pond in the park with bridge over it and very nicely kept up. A must see if in Loveland, CO

Had a great 2 hours walking thru and looking at all of the outdoor sculptures. One of the finest outdoor collections anywhere supported by their big art show in August.

The sculpture park is a wonderful place to walk for exercise or for a casual stroll. There are modern, whimsical, and real-to-life sculptures ranging in size from small to enormous. It's a great place for a special photo shoot with many creative options available.

Beautiful sculptures. A great way to spend time strolling and taking in this massive amount of artistic work.

This is a lovely place to stroll through and take in Loveland's sculpture history. It is both remote and personal with the surrounding neighborhood.

Bring the family. Plenty for all ages to enjoy. Parking is a breeze. Be sure to put your walking shoes on to enjoy all that their is to see.

The Benson Park Sculpture Gardens are a great visit. There are many many statues. Many show very interesting scenes animals and people. You can take ablut a 3/4 mile walk in total around both lakes that are surrounded by sculpture.

Great location to get some exercise and enjoy a multitude of statues. All sorts are included from realistic to whimsical, modern and geometric. In a neighborhood, its family-friendly. Bathrooms are available in a building at the center. I believe there was another part to this sculpture garden across the street but we did not get to it.

Great place to stroll to enjoy the variety of unique sculptures. We had fun trying to imitate the poses for photo ops.

This is an amazing GEM in the heart of Loveland, and well worth a visit! Whenever family and friends come to visit us, we always spend a couple of hours at this beautiful park. The sculptures are inspiring, the landscaping is gorgeous, and it is set off the road a bit for some beauty and solitude to relish the art. In summer, a small train goes through part of the park for small kiddos to ride with their grandparents. Enjoy!

I love Benson Park anytime of the year. Beautiful sculptures, lovely flowers, birds and in the summer amazing dragonflies. It is just a relaxing and interesting park.

We love Benson Sculpture gardens. Every time we have company from out of state we take them to see these beautiful gardens they all love it and are so happy we took the time to take them there!

The variety of the art work is astounding. Most are bronzes. Some date to the early 80's. They are placed in various locations around the park. It has a large walking path to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs.

This is definitely worthy of a detour if you're in the area - a nice park with a stream running through it and about 200 bronze and marble sculptures!! Most are realistic but some are a bit abstract and they are just everywhere! And the kids can even climb on them and some are just their size. SO glad we had time to really enjoy them.

The park don't seem at that big at first glancem but as you start strolling, the expanse of the park becomes evident as does the number and variation of sculpture s. It is a great walk and an inspiring time to view the art on display. There is a style of art for everyone .

This park is nice and my youngest one like to come here (again and again). For some reason she is fascinated by the statues. She is my artsy girl. Hey its free and we are outside hanging out together. Hard to complain about that.

Beautiful place for a walk. Nice place for a picnic and the sculptures are beautiful and varied. One of the nicest places in loveland

Went here on a second date. We walked around and "played" with all the interactive sculptures. Posing and taking pictures. It was very fun. And, the park is just beautiful.

Absolutely love this place. Great sidewalks to wander along while admiring the awesome sculptures. Lucky to live in a community with such a special park.

It's a nice place to walk around after having lunch or dinner nearby. The sculptures were not to my taste, but I enjoyed it as more of a "nature trail" area.

benson sculpture gardens what a gem of fort collins/ loveland had a walk around found loads of sculptures some are amazing , beautiful well worth a visit , loads to see and the grounds are well kept , need a few hours to see everything , loved this place would go here next time I,m near by

What a beautiful spot! Great art sculptures in a beautiful park.
You won't want to miss this park if you're in the Loveland area!

This place is a real gem. It has an amazing quantity/quality of sculptures and we especially enjoyed all the animal/nature themed sculptures. What we didn't enjoy were the parents with young children that allowed the children to climb, swing, and jump on/from the sculptures. If you are looking for a place to let the kids run wild, it seems a playground would be a better choice than a sculpture garden.

If you are looking for a quick little stop where you can get out, stretch your legs, walk on paved walkways and see some beautiful art--this is for you. We really enjoyed taking our little girl around the park in her stroller. The landscaping is really beautiful. You wouldn't spend more than 30-60min here--but it was a nice little stop!

Loveland have many sculptures. This park display many of these artist sculptures. It is a nice place for a walk, picnic and just taking pictures on a beautiful sunny day. There are lots of shades from the trees. Definitely a must stop by place.

good place to go to think, run, walk, bike, take your dog out for a walk, sit and talk with friends.

Laid out around a city park and wet land environment. The sculptures add and statues were beautiful. It's a good walk with lots to see. If you have time to explain the design to your kids it would be good for them too.

Awesome awesome! Loved walking about the gardens seeing sculptures at every angle at various heights amongst foliage and along the river. Enchanting variety from animals to people to “frozen in time”.

We visit the park every few months. This last Saturday (2nd Saturday in August) was the annual Art in the Park show. This is a fund raiser for the park. Admission was $7. There were 4 tents of artists displaying ( and hoping to sell ) their sculpture. Very interesting artwork. Most of the art was several hundred to thousands of dollars, so I didn't buy anything (!) but it was fun to look at. There was also a tent with smaller items as a silent auction (but still in the hundreds of dollars). Another tent had smaller representations of several of the existing park sculputure - again not inexpensive.
No parking at the park so there were various parking lots near the jpark charging for parking. We parked on a side street about 1/3 mile away. The park across the street had some craft-type booths set up.
Finally the city put up a sign on Hwy 34 (Eisenhower) if coming from I25 that shows to turn on Taft and on Taft to indicate to turn on 29th St.
With funds from the show, a couple of new pieces are added to the park collection. Any trip to the Loveland/Greeley/Ft. Collins area should visit the park.

I enjoy the garden, because it shows value for the arts and showcases Loveland's foundry tradition. But I don't much care for the usual realism that dominates here and in most of the prominently displayed bronze sculpture.

First class display of professional art displays. Well organized, clean area, and great for all ages. Bring camera to take lots of pictures.

Lots of great sculptures for free. Take you time and walk slowly. You can even put out a blanket and have a picnic. Pick a day that is not so hot.

Good place for kids to run. Nice walking paths. Many of the sculptures require discussion as they can be abstract. Can view wildlife as well.

My son and I visited yesterday. We are from Houston and we both loved it here. We spent an hour walking around. What a great place.

An extraordinary idea to make an "art park" where Mother Nature surrounds each piece. Truly a lovely way to spend a few hours strolling the walkways, admiring the works of many and renewing your appreciation for the gifts of others and those found in nature!

This is a great little spot to take a leisurely stroll and check out a lot of sculpture art. We brought our dog and talked, walked, got photos of and with the sculptors. Lake Loveland is across the street with the free swim beach for the really hot days!

Saw the sculptures from the road while passing through and decided to stop. So glad we did this was a fun park with some very cool statues. Recommend to anyone passing through Loveland take a hr off your schedule and enjoy nature and art.

The park is a beautifully maintained and clearly set up so you can enjoy the sculptures individually. You can walk at your own pace with no one to bother you.

We have walked through the park many times. The amazing sculptures can be looked at over and over again and they will still bring joy to each visitor. There are dozens of sculptures from many art styles. We have brought 3 and 4 year pods as well as friends in their 60's. It is great for any age. Make sure you carefully cross the street because we discovered there are many more sculptures there. And did I mention it's free? Wonderful!

We stayed in Loveland mainly because we wanted to visit the sculpture parks. Because of time constraints, we were only able to get to the Benson Park. It was late afternoon and very hot so we only went through 1/2 the park, but it was so nice! What a wonderful place to walk and enjoy beautiful sculpture. This is a great place to stroll along and relax. It's obviously a favorite walk for the locals, we saw people walking their dogs and mothers walking with their children. If you want to drop by while driving through Loveland , this park is not close to the interstate. But there are several sculpture parks close to I-25. If they are 1/2 as nice as Benson it will be worth stopping for.

We live in Loveland, and Benson Park is our favorite place to take guests, as well as to enjoy ourselves, any time of year.

Year round visits are recommended! You can enjoy the sculpture in any season. Get out of your car and stroll the garden at your leisure to enjoy the amazing collection here. I keep going back.

When people visit Colorado, I always put this on the list of experiences to have. I’ve taken many many people through the sculpture garden. It’s an amazing place!

Great way to spend an afternoon. The sculptors are of varying styles and taste and there are alot to see. Dont be afraid to walk up close to them and notice the details. Nice place for a picnic. Once you visit the garden, you will begin to recognize the artist in the other sculptors you will see around town.

Beautiful setting with some equally beautiful sculptures make for a must see experience. Admission is free and just requires you walk along a path to view the sculptures. You won’t regret the time spent!

This Sculpture Garden was much bigger than we expected. It was well worth a visit and we look forward to returning, maybe in a different season.

Visited the park on a gorgeous sunny Saturday at the very beginning of April. Went midday. Not too many people, which was nice. So many sculptures to see. Definitely worth the trip.

Loveland is a city built on art and nowhere is that more clear than at Benson. It's a beautiful place to spend a summer evening.

When visiting Loveland CO, the sculpture garden is a must see. Lovely setting, relaxing, plan to spent a least an hour. I would consider bringing a picnic lunch.

I am a Loveland local and I love to visit the sculpture park. Beautiful sculptures all along the walking path. The flowers and landscaping adds to the ambiance

This park features well-maintained grounds that include a river running the length of the park, and of course, lots and lots of sculptures. The art runs the gamut from ultra-realistic to completely abstract, so there's something for everyone here. The pieces are very well executed and lovingly cared for.
I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area and have some time available...depending on your walking pace and how long you linger at the installations you can expect to kill at least an hour here, and possibly twice that (or more).

This is a park that stretches for several blocks in a residential neighborhood through a wet land area. It is free and parking is on the street. It is a nice place for a stroll. You really would not be able to go faster then that as the paths turn and twist in the park. It is very well maintained and very unusual. I have been to a lot of parks and none even compares with the huge amount of sculptures in this park. Very, well maintained park. Loveland should be proud. The sculptures seem to be primarily of bronze and other metals. Lots of benches and also some picnic tables. They also have a children's section. Also has a very nice bathroom in the park near a large shelter.

My husband Marvin and I love a peaceful walk at the Sculpture park. The creativity of all the sculptures bring such wonder into the world. It's a place we cherish.

Stopped to see the Benson Park Sculpture Garden during our vacation. Very nice park with unique and interesting sculptures. Only downer was watching skateboarders traipse through the park and Pokeman chasers walk through the park with no interest in the beautiful artwork.

We strolled along the easy walkways, admiring the huge number of large sculptures and the very pretty and delightful park itself. Nice get-a-way in the middle of town.

We love to wander and enjoy the varied sculptures! This is one of the first places we like to share with our visitors when they come to our hometown.

Great place to bring out of town visitors for a nice walk in all seasons. The sculptures are conversation pieces and fun can be had posing with some of the groupings.

Areal nice place for a walk and enjoy the different sculptures.you a lot of friendly people doing the same.

Wanted to get out of the hotel and take a walk, what a perfect place to enjoy some beautiful sculptures and a well maintained landscaping. Not many tables for picnics so bring a blanket and enjoy the scenery.

Statues, ponds, a pavilian and rest rooms. This is a great park for grownups. It is the site of the annual sculpture show in Loveland.

I live 25-30 minutes away from this park and it is one of my favorite places to visit. The many large and often life-like bronze sculptures are beautiful and there are "newer" more abstract sculptures on the east side of the garden. We've taken my daughter and relatives to this garden and everyone has marveled at the offerings and the peaceful setting. We have pictures of the kids sitting next to the boy petting his puppy and pictures of their grandma holding hands with the ring of children running in circles. It's always a fun day. There is one pavillion on-site where you could get out of the sun.

Here at this passive park there are found bronze cast sculptures that are of "World Class" standards ...all on exhibit free of charge, fun for all the family....see my attached photos of the beautiful sculptures

What a great find! Noticed the signs on Eisenhower Blvd followed our map app right to it. It's a good sized city park with a wetlands area running thru it. A walking path winds its away along and around the wetlands with the sculptures tucked under trees and along edges of the path; far more than I had anticipated!. Plenty of benches and seats to contemplate the work. Some sculptures are very realistic and some are very abstract. Some are quite large... Loved the two children with the giant wishbone! Others are small - panels decorating the bathroom building and on the bridge that we crossed.. There are a variety of animal sculptures...great place to take children to introduce them to artwork. There is a pavilion and lots of open space. We were there on a hot summer afternoon and didn't make it all the way around the park. There is no charge to visit. Wheel chair and stroller friendly. A great place for a quiet stroll. A place to return to on future visits.

Beautiful place to walk. Nicely manicured grass and of course the sculptures are awesome. On the south side of the street the park continues and there is a playground for kids and even a train for only 75 cents you can take a ride on it around that side of the park which is ran by the local Lions Club who were very friendly and knowledgeable.

There are many sculptures located in this park, so many that it is hard to see them all. The art encompasses many styles and there is probably something for everyone. Take your time and enjoy.

No better place to be on a nice fall day. This park is packed with some of the finest and unique sculptures in the state and all with their own story. Great activity for all ages. There is no cost for this attraction and parking is typically not a problem. Highly recommended.

Gardens and sculptures were fabulous and everything was free. Great way to spend an afternoon. Bring a picnic lunch.

This beautiful park is wonderful for couples or for the entire family. There are over 150 sculptures to enjoy and lots more f space for everyone.
We spent a lovely morning and afternoon in Benson park, enjoying nice weather and beautiful sculptures. We quickly got to the Thai restaurant nearby, grabbed some takeout and got back to the park to enjoy the meal.

Easy to get to, and lots of trail to walk. Great for walking a dog or with others. There are two sides to the park.

So you can do this early in the am if it's hot or at dusk with kids. I like to take kids at dusk because the sculptures move then... that's what I tell them. A beautiful walk through a park with stunning sculptures on both sides of 29th St.

We were fortunate to be introduced to the sculpture park a few years back when our daughter and husband moved to Northern Colorado. We return regularly and never miss a chance to bring friends and family who visit us from the midwest. A morning visit, lunch south by Lake Loveland, and a second visit makes it a full day of beauty! We love the entire experience!

My wife and I visited this park for the first time last week. What a gorgeous place for a leisure walk. Not crowded, nice walkways and the sculptures are absolutely amazing.

This is a great place to go for a walk with the family. It has a great assortment of all different animals and people. All ages would thourally enjoy this walk. Take your time you can easily spend an hour or more.

Visited the statue park and was amazed at the detail in the pieces on display. It was a slightly rainy day but we still viewed the works on display. I wish I had brought my camera. You can view animals, people and some abstracts. We did not get to see all the pieces as they had tents setup for the weekend festival. There are two sides of he park, so be sure to view all the statues. It will take 1 to 2 hours for the viewing. There is also a children's area for little people statues. This is a FREE event.

This sculpture garden has 148 different sculptures created by different artists. It was a beautiful location for a stroll through a park and an outdoor art museum, all at once! Definitely something different that you can't find in just any town. All kinds of people who appreciate artwork would enjoy this.

Benson park is a great free sculpture park in Loveland that features hundreds of works of art surrounding a nice little duck and koi pond. It is a great place to have a picnic or spend an afternoon.

We visit here every time we have company. We are so proud to live in such an artistic community! This park has some of the best representation of art you will see anywhere!

They statues are amazing, the sidewalks are in great shape and meander nicely around the statues and the water.

I always take my dog for a walk here since it's closer to my house. You'll meet a lot of friendly people from the area. Such a beautiful park.

the Benson Sculpture Garden is an absolute must-see. We always take visitors here to see the beautiful sculptures. There are literally dozens of world class sculptures here--certainly a collection worthy of any museum or much larger city. They are displayed in a beautiful park with gardens and winding paths. The sculptures are large and small, realistic and abstract, whimsical and serious, but all stunning. It is really worth your time to see.

A great place to walk and enjoy a wide variety of sculptural art, from contemporary abstract to more traditional representational pieces. The park surrounds a wetland, but we didn't suffer any mosquito bites. Nice to watch ducks and other wildlife in the middle of the city.

We took a long stroll through this lovely park fascinated by dozens of sculptures in bronze and other metals. An outstanding collection in a free public park. Excellent grounds keeping and gardening with nice shady trees. This park is obviously very well maintained.
We also celebrated a family birthday with a gathering of a dozen people and used a picnic table by a nice playground. Clean, nice restroom facilities nearby. There's also a miniature railroad offering rides.
In short, this beautiful garden is a gem!😊

Enjoy evening walks. Calm and safe. Busy in August, since there is a Sculpture show. Lots of interesting sculptures, new ones added yearly.

The sculptures were really cool to look at, and it's a great place for a picnic. It would also be a good place to have couple/family pictures done. There's a really nice play ground connected to it too, making it great for all ages. My only disappointment was that the kiddie train wasn't there or running. I get it though, can't leave it out all the time due to vandalism. Worth checking out!

In town with family for a few days, and we stopped here for a brief visit. It's s beautiful setting and there are so many different styles on display. Hard to describe, but I highly recommend stopping by to see this if you have an hour to spare. You could easily spend more time than that here but you get a good flavor in that amount of time. If I lived here, this would be on my walking route!

It is a quiet place to take a nice walk. Sculptures are pretty cool, and there is a good variety. Thee are several people along the way and a little bit of wildlife.

We kept seeing signs for this place while visiting Loveland, and decided to check it out. It was a very neat place, with alot of different types of sculptures. I am sure its quite nice during warmer weather. There were a lot of dog walkers out and about.

This is a great little go to for a peaceful walk and viewing of local bronze sculptures of various subject matters. In the Spring and summer the ponds and waterfall that run throughout are worth the stop for picture taking. You may even see wildlife. There are a benches and a small picnic area to gather complete with public restrooms. Lots of local indigenous trees and plants throughout are great to view and identify as well. I particularly like that you can walk a short distance or longer distance depending on your schedule.

just a delightful place to take a leisurely walk and admire the sculpture artwork
my husband and I have done this and also took out of town friends

Was very nice. Lovely walk and nice sculptures. Great use of the wetland. Quiet and peaceful. The train ride was fun and very inexpensive.

We wandered around and thoroughly enjoyed the surprises around the corner, the impressive work, and the pleasant setting. Would be interesting to visit after a light snow.

My wife and I really enjoy the Sculptures at Benson Park. Its fun to walk on the path to view the various sculptures distributed throughout the area. We also find it a great place to take our out of town guests. A great way to enjoy the art represented by many artists living in this area. Highly recommended!

The second weekend in August the Benson Park Sculpture Garden is transformed into the biggest, best run sculpture display and sale in North America. Four tents full of artist displaying their sculptures, a fifth tent with a silent auction and a sixth tent with replicas of many of the sculptures on permanent display in the park. Sculptures seemed to range in price from $500 to $25,000 from whimsical to monumental. Tickets were $7, but there were lots of free tickets as well for those of us on a special mailing list. Great show to plan for. We took the shuttle bus to avoid the crush at the park and it worked quite well. Food court was quite well done with lots of shady seating.

A great place to take a stroll, bring your dogs too! Very nicely organized and tons of beautiful sculptures.

First class outdoor sculpture garden. Numerous unique pieces by very talented local and national artists. You will need several hours to completely enjoy. Highly recommended, free. Not much seating is the only drawback.

Benson Sculpture Park is a gem within Loveland. Lots of families and dog walkers and free and ample parking. The sculptures are fantastic! Many to see and all with exquisite detail. We did a leisurely walk around both sides of the park and stopped to read the plaques and take photos and were done in 90 minutes.

Loved the variety and beautifully maintained gardens. Plan on 2-4 hours! Bring picnic lunch! Grreeaaattt!!!!!!!!!!

This shows what a City and community can do if they work together. The sculpture 's are arranged through out a beautiful public park.
The artists are extremely talented. As in any Art Museum, no one likes all of the art, you will be moved by most of them. This is designed to be strolled and not to rush through.

This art walk and nature walk has it all. Leisure, plenary of bronzes with all different themes and nature. Quite an asset for Loveland and northern Colorado check it out!

On a lazy, cool, sunny afternoon, my partner and I decided to take a walk in this garden that we had driven by 100 times and I am so glad we did! What a lovely display of beautiful sculptures of every type of artistic endeavor. We loved just walking quietly and exploring the amazing artwork by some very creative artists. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty of this perfect respite in a beautiful spot.

I'm a local and have visited Benson park at least once a year and have never been disappointed. They add new sculptures each year, the landscape is very well cared for and the wide, paved walkways make it accessible for everyone.
Perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon - OR see the sculptures in a whole new light with a dusting of snow!

Was unable to walk through due to the weather, but seen most of the sculptures from the car as we drove around. Very beautiful art through the city.

We live very near to the Benson Park Sculpture Garden and walk our dog there often. It is not only beautiful and filled with amazingly detailed bronze sculptures but is quiet and relaxing.

Good place to get outside and get some exercise. Get out, walk around and check out some local artwork.

Part of an old homestead was donated to the city by a rancher to encourage wildlife around its ponds. the city decided to turn it into a park with amazing sculptures of animals and people and mythical beings etc etc and they are better than most that you see in art museums. local businesses and private individuals as well as the city have made it the nicest walk surrounded by wonderful artworks from artists all over the country as well as by local artists. it is tucked away in a quiet suburb of town . and most importantly the wildlife, particularly , birds , is wonderful

We arrived as the sun was low in the sky. This is a beautiful permanent art installation. The pieces surround a wetland. The oath is easily accessible. A must see in Loveland.

Several of us met up at the park and walked around. We were so impressed! Whoever started this had a vision. The collection is extensive and nicely arranged. I will definitely come back next time that I am in the Denver area.

We drove through (slowly) on the first visit as it was raining. I did stop a few times to take a few pictures....nice look with rain droplets on the artwork.
Second visit was late afternoon on a lovely day. Parked the car and walked through the gardens slowly and leisurely. Many more photo ops on this visit and incredible artwork. We met several dog walkers with friendly pups and others just strolling through the gardens.
This is definitely a highlight of Loveland and a must see for visitors and locals alike.

We enjoyed walking on the paved shaded paths at this sculpture park. The sculptures are very detailed and nicely done. I consider them a bit of Americana. Something for the young and seniors alike. And there are a lot of them. You could spend an hour or two. Not so huge that you get tired out. Restrooms and parking close by. Shaded area to sit. It’s also free. I probably wouldn’t drive out of my way to visit but since we were in the area we came.

R lazing place to unwind. Highlighting Loveland’s cultural pop, there are fantastic sculptures lining the walk. Romantic and fun at the same time.

We walked for about an hour on the outside of the long Park and saw dozens of sculptures. The inner part of the sculpture garden was getting ready for their auction the next few days so we couldn't go in. But even so there is plenty to look at and admire and a good walk. And it's free. And some beautiful sculptures.

I have attended this show for four years now, and always enjoy myself. There are amazing pieces that use a variety of media, including bronze, glass, wood, aluminum, paper, ceramic, marble, and others. The vendors are very courteous, and always eager to talk about their techniques and inspirations. Subjects are widely varied. Animals (realistic and whimsical), people, abstract figures, yard and garden art, and too many others to mention. The Garden itself has over 150 pieces to view year round, with a natural swamp area, bridge, and paved trails to walk or bike. Definitely worth the $8/pp to visit!

Lovely path around a pond with beautiful sculptures. Very kid and dog friendly. Dogs must be kept on leash.

What a pleasure. My third visit. Every time I am near u always stop. I live the trails, the water features l, the little alcoves. Always enjoy.

I have a sculpture in the park.
Caress was purchased in 2019 and added to the parks permanent collection. The park is meticulously maintained and the annual sculpture show that’s now going on is a world class event not to be missed.

Take a nice leisurely stroll around the park/pond and enjoy the sculptures. They are rotated out occasionally so repeat visits will not find all the same sculptures.

I stopped here while driving from Ft. Collins to Denver. The park is in the middle of a neighborhood so I wasn't expecting much. However, it's big, beautiful and very cool. There are many sculptures as well as bridges and flowers. After walking around for about 2 hours I realized that there was an additional area across the road. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to check that out but definitely will next time. And....it's free!

The very best, comparatively overlooked attraction we have ever visited. Going here is like being the recipient of a stupendous suprise party. The sculptures are incredibly wonderful and are surrounded by refined, landscaped, and delightful walking (biking allowed, too) paths and natural settings. Knowing what I do now, I say it is well worth a drive even for those visiting Denver. Loveland is also a fine destination for a day trip with stores worth visiting on 4th Street a broad selection of very good restaurants. Views of the foothills, too.

The sculptures & gardens are nothing short of amazing. A must see when in Loveland. One of the best visits while in Colorado. Artists both In sculpturing and gardens are spectacular.

We enjoyed walking around on the paved path. The park is intersected by a main road, so we only checked out one part. The pond was pretty and the sculptures were very nice. There were a few benches throughout. When we went it was very quiet.
The only thing to look out for is all the goose poop! It is everywhere.
The bathrooms by the auditorium are not open, but there are bathrooms on the other side of the pond.
There is a parking lot.

Along the walking path are many sculptures scattered throughout. Plan at least one hour minimum to enjoy the sculptures. You can even bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. There are public restrooms and several benches scattered. The walkways are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers etc. It's closed during the art show so Plan a special visit the second weekend in August for the sculpture show. Admission is a modest fee. Also a free craft show. Both are a big deal in Loveland and artists come from all over.

We have visited the park frequently with visitors and everyone has been impressed, well worth the time!

This is a great place to spend an afternoon. Beautiful sculpture and I love the natural landscaping and the way the landscape go with the sculptures. If you are in Loveland, don't miss it.

This is such a fun and interesting place to explore, no matter what the ages are of your group. The sculptures are great and I love the variety and the story of the artist. It’s definitely worth your time!

Such a pretty place with beautiful art everywhere. We just walked and stared. The only drawback, the water smells a bit like septic.

The statue garden is a very unique simple place to walk and get some exercise while viewing all the statues. I live in Loveland and love strolling through it. It seems I see new statues that I didn't notice before every time I go there.

So many phenomenal sculptures to see. They have about 154 sculptures in the park. Flower beds, pond with ducks, picnic seating, shaded seating. Fun kid area. Wear your bug blocker.

I was in Loveland with my husband for a business meeting. I went to the park 2 days. The statues were fabulous. It is easy to find and park too. I sat and read a book one day after walking too.

Lots of wonderful sculptures. My toddler loves running around finding different animal sculptures .
Bathrooms and water fountains are available.

What a delightful, unexpected find in this adorable community. Don't stop at the park, be sure to drive around to see other wonderful sculptures.

The Benson Sculpture Park is an enjoyable activity for any art lover. The grounds are peaceful and the sculptures fascinating. It's free as well, making it a good family activity!

There are sculptures here that have been installed over a long period of time in connection with the sculpture show and the long-standing reputation of the city for foundries and artists. I thought when first visiting that it was a pretty small and limited site but was amazed (pleasantly) to find it to be bout two blocks long and wrapped around a small waterway and lagoon. We have been twice in not terribly warm weather and will return again to view some portions we did not see. Unless sculpture is really not your thing, this venue competes well with major exhibits in Europe and larger American cities, with something for everyone in the family and the varied tastes of individuals. --Something for everyone and a place all should visit. And dog-friendly to boot.

We were traveling between Estes Park and Fort Collins and a friend had recommended the sculpture garden. We stopped for a bit and enjoyed about half the park before getting back in the car and out of the extreme heat that day (temps were 100+).
It was a nice place and in a more temperate weather we would have enjoyed it more!

I have been here 5 times in the last three years. This place is a gem. I go at different times and times of the year to get different perspectives. There are constantly new pieces being added. I wish there could be some modern art pieces. perhaps at the leg of the park by the High School?

Benson Park has a variety of statues, artwork and a nice relaxing walk next to some water by Lake Loveland.

What a wonderful place to stroll and take in some of the most beautiful bronze sculptors. You will not be disappointed. Kids will love it too. This park is renowned for its sculptors and on August 9th,10th, and 11 th 2019, they will host the annual Sculpture in the Park Show which attracts thousands of people from all over the world.

This place is beyond belief. Do not miss if you are in Loveland. It is easy to find, and a pleasant walk through a park with all the beautiful sculptures around you.

Wonderful place to spend 10 minutes driving through or many hours walking through viewing all the sculptures.

Sure, if you are in Loveland, visit it. You will find a few very delightful pieces. However, at the same time it has way too many very low imagination pieces, which unfortunately dilute the whole experience. I much more prefer and recommend the Chipungu sculpture park at Centerra. There you will truly feel how artistic imagination works.

I don't think we saw all of the sculptures as there is no single way to access them all; but what a fun walk it was (a little over a mile) to catch as many pieces of art work as we could.

It was incredibly lovely to see a three-block park with winding paths set within a residential area. But there were plenty of trees, benches, ponds, swamp grass/rushes, bridges, and so on. Many people were walking their dogs while I was there between 4:30-5:30 on a weeknight. I spent the whole time taking photos of most of the 100+ sculptures. Many nationally recognized sculptors are represented as well as ones who live in western CO. I work as a sculpture docent in America's first and oldest Sculpture garden, located in SC. Many of the sculptors here also have pieces where I work, so seeing them was more personal for me. Between sculptures of animals, children, single adults, and groups, there is something for everyone, and you'd be hard pressed to even name your top 5 favorites! The city of Loveland did something really amazing when they conceived of this idea, then carried it out so well.

Took my niece from London and my husband. We all were thoroughly enchanted. I had been many years ago but had no idea how much it had grown. I am in a wheelchair and it is a really lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

This amazing garden has something for everyone! The parking is easy; the terrain is flat and paved, making it easily accessible; and the sculptures are delightful. Take a lunch and make a day of it. There is so much to see!

This park is gorgeous year round. The sculptures are the main attraction but won't be outdone by the foliage. We took our Girl Scout troop there in late summer to identify flowers. They walked the park and had fun the whole time.

Loveland is a gorgeous city. There are sculptures in every park and all over the city. Great place for lovers of sculpture to explore!

I have been to this sculpture garden many times over the last 16 years.
We love taking guests to Benson Sculpture Garden. It's a great way to show off our town.
It's also a good place to walk if you just want to spend some time with your thoughts. My favorite time to visit is in the spring and fall.

The obvious perk is that it’s free. However if you enjoy art, even a bit, you will love this park. Nice flat and wide paths for strollers or wheelchairs. You can stop at the sculptures that interest you with no inconvenience to anyone.

A lovely place to take a stroll and take in all of the beauty Benson Sculpture Park has to offer. Loveland is known for our foundries and we are so lucky to have a serene city park that displays some of the best pieces!

I didn't really have any expectations when I went to Benson Park. I wanted something easy and free to do with a friend so we decided to check it out.
I absolutely loved walking this park! There are so many sculptures. I didn't count how many we saw but they were everywhere. It's not like you have to walk far to see a lot of art. I particularly enjoyed the children's section. I don't know how Loveland gets or pays for all of these sculptures but this park is a treasure and I love seeing the city invest in it.
If you have a walking disability, this is a great place to go because there are nice sidewalks throughout the park. I didn't have time to see the entire park and am looking forward to going back and seeing the rest.

Benson Sculpture park is a wonderful experience for people of all ages! We went on a family walk around the park and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our young children enjoyed the plants, butterflies, and open grass to play in. Great grandmother in a wheelchair enjoyed the greenery and art. The sculptures kept conversation flowing among the adults! This park is educational as well as beautiful. The only downside is that if you go too close to dusk, there are many mosquitoes due to the water features of this park. But there are plenty of large trees that keep midday from being too hot!

On a visit to Loveland, we added this to our stay. This sculpture park is amazing and very well kept. The sculptures are placed all along concrete walks and bridges making it ADA friendly. Very much worth it and the weather was awesome too!
Relaxing place to see incredible art
My husband and I enjoyed a leisurely walk around the park. Most of the sculptures were amazing with a nice variety of styles. The sculptures were well placed. We went on a Thursday evening in October and there weren’t many people there.
