Biloxi Bay Bridge Reviews

It was an experience to go over this bridge heading into Biloxi. If one is scared of bridges, it might be a problem. However, it's the only way to get there.

Beautiful travel across during the day. Well light at night - viewed from a boat - made a very interesting photo.

so pretty at night with lights on. Went over a few times during the day and at night. Looked at it from my hotel balcony everday

This was a short walk from the Palace Casino Hotel where we were staying, maybe 1/4 mile to walk to it. The entry was pretty much in the Golden Nugget's parking lot.
It was a foggy morning which made it an extra cool experience. The walkway was great, a few other walkers, some runners, never felt unsafe at all. The view was great, enjoyed watching a fisherman in a boat fend off a flock of pelicans. The Biloxi side actually had no indicators that it was there, if I didn't know to look for it, I might not have even noticed it. The Ocean Springs side promoted it better with beautiful murals and landscaping. A porta potty was on the OS side, and a small convenience store very nearby, other than that, you better have what you need and go before you go... It will definitely be something I do every time I visit Biloxi, which I hope is often.
The Biloxi side did not have a rules sign, but there was one at the OS side. So the guy getting on at Biloxi with his dog had no way of knowing the No Dogs rule. And I'm not the bridge police so I didn't say anything.
There were some cutaways with a bench to rest and enjoy the view.
One thing I found odd, that I saw on my way back across, was there were a few small orange cones that had some sort of laminated fitness info and a small free weight dumb bell. Don't know if they were part of a public service or someone left them for their own use. Either way, I almost tripped over them because I was looking at the view, I didn't expect stuff like that to be on the ground on the path. I'd think that if they MUST be left there like that, they be placed inside the cutaways. Over all a wonderful activity.

We were there during stormy weather. For driving, it is a large, safe, modern bridge. I did notice a large pedestrian way with a substantial guard rail between people and traffic. Looked like a great way and place to exercise. Despite the dreary weather, we saw many walkers on the bridge.

A good way to see the area from a high point. Good views of the area at a free cost. A short thing to do but worth it.

Further views of the local Casinos nearby, also connects to Ocean Springs a lovely tourist destination

Can drive vehicle and park to fish. Port a potty were available. Places to turn vehicle around. Wished we had place like this where I live

Who would think driving over a bridge would be exciting.But this bridge never fails to make me feel like I have done something special.The views are awe inspiring and it brings me back To Katrina when the whole area was devastated.Love iy

We walked the Bay Bridge twice - once from each direction. If the wind is blowing, it is a nice summer walk. If not, beware of the heat and noise from traffic! The walking path is very nice with frequent markers and resting benches for those that need them. There is ample parking on the Ocean Springs side, but not on the Biloxi side. The view of the evening sunset is really nice from the bridge. It would be nice if there were a few additional markers explaining the sites - possibly with viewers. This walkway is a great attraction for Biloxi!

This is the first thing we see coming into Biloxi and the sight never disappoints me. Beautiful bridge and well constructed. You can get some great pictures of the bridge if you go to Cadet Park , turn right after the bridge going towards the Palace Casino.

There are miles and miles of excellent running and walking trails in the area but the Biloxi Bay bridge is my favorite. Round trip will get you a little over 3.5 miles and the elevation gain is challenging but the view of the bay and the city during the run made this one of my favorite things to do during my visit to the area.

Suggest starting out 10-20 minutes before sunrise to avoid the heat/humidity and enjoy one of the best views of this beautiful bay when the sun first reflects off the water.

Great place to walk. View is very pretty. Make sure you take some water the sun can be very hot. Don't go alone after Dark

After Katrina blew the old bridge away, it was a real pain to try and get to Ocean Springs and its great art museum. The new Biloxi Bay Bridge is great and I see more and more joggers and walkers using it for exercise.

We only drove over it and the view is limited. However, it is set up so you can walk the bridge in safety and see to the horizon on both sides.

My wife and I walked out of the Harrah's Gulf Coast and walked across the bridge and back. Wide dedicated walking lane on ocean side. Beautiful vistas. Walking the bridge is a great thing to do if you are in Biloxi. Just remember....it is a long way to the other side and back. Several miles. Do the walk at a time when the temperature and humidity are low. Always carry water and a cell phone.

On our February visit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we probably crossed the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge 8 times. Though we were staying in Biloxi (and then Gulfport), we visited Ocean Springs, and then the Gulf Hills, and D’Iberville areas a few times.

This is the fourth bridge between Biloxi and Ocean Springs, that I can recall, from growing up on the MS Gulf Coast. It is new, since Hurricane Katrina destroyed the previous bridge. Two others were also damaged by hurricanes, but were also in different locations. One can still be seen, as it is now a fishing pier, somewhat parallel to this new bridge. The first, that I recall, was very close to that alignment. Back in the 1950's, Hwy 90 turned north at Point Cadet, and met up with Howard Ave, making a sharp right turn, to the bridge. That bridge was a narrow, two-land affair, with a turntable section, over the channel into Back Bay Biloxi, to allow the commercial fishing boats, and sailboats to pass. It was a scary little structure, with but a tiny walkway, on the outside – just wide enough for one to fish, but with cars passing only feet away. That span was replaced in probably the late 1950's, with the span that one can still see – the dedicated fishing pier. The alignment was still from about Howard Ave. Then, in the late 1960's, or early 1970's (after the destruction by Hurricane Camille), Hwy 90 was realigned, in both Biloxi and Ocean Springs, and a new bridge was constructed in the same location, as the current bridge. Hurricane Katrina destroyed that bridge, and now, we have a lovely, six-lane span, without an opening, that allows traffic to flow easily across Back Bay. There is also a separate walkway/bike path, for the entire length – a far cry from that only narrow walkway, where one almost had to walk, with one foot directly in front of the other, and you could not cast your line into the Bay, without making sure to not hit a passing auto. This bridge is both functional, and beautiful, in its simplicity.

On this visit, besides driving over the bridge several times, we also explored it a bit more, at both ends. In June, I had explored the Biloxi side a bit, from Point Cadet Plaza, but we spent more time on this visit. We also explored the bridge, from the Ocean Springs side, which we had never done before. I was surprised to see a mini-park on the Ocean Springs side (just behind the Ocean Springs Yacht Club), with a mosaic mural, benches and plantings. I never knew that was there.

We still have not walked, or biked the bridge, so we have at least one more visit ahead of us. We have also not seen the evening lighting, so something to look forward to.

omg this is the coolest bridge ive sen and been on. it has a people mover sidewalk which is always in use and at night it is light up. a beautiful sight from my hotel room at the golden nugget.

If you have spent most of your time on the beach side of Biloxi, take the time to see the calm waters of the bay. Drive from the lighthouse on Porter, stop at Desporte's for a great po-boy, then drive to the bay, turn left and stop at the back bay pier. If you need a fishing license, or want a cool fish poster, stop at the state office on the bay. Then take the quaint back bay bridge to D'Iberville chain stores. Drive slowly and have someone in the passenger seat ready to take pictures. To the east you will see the Biloxi -OS Bridge on the tip of Biloxi and to the west you will see the wonderful marsh leading up the the river. Sunrise and sets are also great. There is water everywhere you look around here.

A friend decided to walk/run the bridge and enjoyed it. From Biloxi it takes you to Ocean Springs. We drove and picked him up to return to Biloxi. We see people doing this daily so I think it could be a members club. I know it is good exercise (but not for me)

We crossed over this bridge both ways to see the view and it also has walking pathes on one side for the walkers--just another beautiful sight on the gulf

This bridge was the last of the bridges we took while we were traveling from Jax to Biloxi. It was quite beautiful especially at sunset.

It is a nice ride across this brigde and if in the area you should cross over for a lovely view. Water is all around with the Gulf to South and Bay to North. Very enjoyable.

The Biloxi Bay Bridge from Ocean Springs to Biloxi is a fantastic way to get you exercise walk. It is a great walk with a great view of the Biloxi Bay.

We saw the bridge all lit up against the night sky from the 28th floor of our hotel on Sunday night, which made us want to see it up close during daylight. So we took a drive across the Biloxi Bay Bridge.

We noticed that it was built with a very wide pedestrian lane, separated by a high concrete wall to protect joggers and walkers from vehicle traffic. We counted about two dozen pedestrians taking advantage of the protected space to enjoy a lovely afternoon stroll/jog across the span. The bridge is about 1.5 miles long so, if you're into endurance walking, this is a great venue, both for distance and climbing the span's center arch.

At the east end of the bridge, you can park your car and walk out onto a long pier built between the bay bridge and an old railroad bridge. Sunset photography is spectacular from this vantage point.

We only had buffet not really worth the money. our room was grungy, furniture old and scratched up. heavily stained mattress but staff was friendly. Charged an extra $20.00 for refrigerator.

I'm terrified of bridges but actually drove over this one without having a panic attack . Once you look down its actually relaxing and you can see water on both sides

I didn't walk or run on the bridge. I just drove through the bridge several times. The view is great, and I saw people running or walking on the bridge, I think that would be fun too.

We decided to take a stroll along this walking bridge. It was very nice, the evening was cool and I wish we had bikes to ride on. This is a nice place too get your walk in without traffic.

Over the bay ... access from Ocean Springs. Great views. I really like the railroad bridge that runs alongside.

This a beautiful walk. Allows you to exercise without realizing it. I go during the day & always feel safe. If I were going at night, I would take a friend.

Going for a walk on this beautiful bridge is truly a pleasure. You can look out at the water as you walk and see the birds and boats. A perfect walking spot.

If you want a great workout, walk this bridge back and forth!!! 3.4 miles with an incline. You can feel the burn

A wonderful family walk and no cost. this big and very harden pear is a joy, and a good fishing place. See everything easily and safely form this walk. it is a very long.

This bridge was built after Hurricane Katrina. It is very nice with wide lanes and a walking trail down the side with a safe barrier in between it and the driving lanes.

Driving on the coast in Biloxi is fabulous - you are right on the water. This bridge is pretty and you get an amazing view of this beautiful part of the earth.

Definitely recommend this path for walking or jogging.

The locals get to enjoy walking, riding a bike or such activities across the bridge from Biloxi to Ocean Springs while enjoying beautiful views. I chose to check out the views from the restaurant THIRTY TWO that is located inside IP Casino and Hotel and even caught the draw bridge in action.

Nice view of all the casino at night so pretty easy access during the day still pretty photo's would be a long walk though lol

Go for a run along the bridge. Nice view and easy running path. Its a new bridge but the view is awesome. If your not runner just drive over it. I think you might can get the same affect.

The bridge was damaged by Katrina, and they rebuilt it with 3 lanes in each direction plus a nice bike / pedestrian path. Many brass plates along the bridge feature critters - squid, alligator, etc, and boats. Great view of Biloxi Bay, boats, islands, sunset.

We took a stroll and took pictures! Safe, fun and relaxing! Something that you can do with your family!

Great place to get in some cardio! Used to go every Saturday morning for a run! Parking is close as well!

Bridge Across Biloxi Bay (Biloxi one side and Ocean Springs the other side). Bridge is 1.6 miles and offers great views of Biloxi Bay. There is protected walk way that handles both walkers and runners. Many people use the walk way in the morning and afternoons. One can get some good photo's from the bridge.

Lots of fun to see the Bay and the various Hotels from the Bridge. It was nice to have a small breeze also as the day I walked the bridge it was 86 degrees F. The bridge is well constructed and kept very clean. I plan to go back on our next visit to Biloxi.

We marked this off of our bucket list. Very safe and peaceful place to walk. It was a challenge that we gladly conquered. Has benches to rest on along the way. The hill on the ocean springs side was tough, but we made it. Very thankful for the gas station at the end of bridge so that we could rehydrate.

A Great bridge to see and go over with great views and isn,t for someone who hates heights. A must for anyone in the area.

Great way to see the coast at a pace you desire. The views are fantastic and you cant get much healthier than this.

Was a huge political football but the Mayor of Ocean Springs held fast and now we have a world class tourist attraction

The pros: nice view, wide protected sidewalk, some art work along the way, free/easy parking, a few hills to add to the challenge.

The cons: no restroom facilities (except a 'job johnny' on the OS side), no water fountains, and can get a little breezy at the top. Has some hills, which I consider a plus, but some might consider a negative. Round trip is about 3.7 miles.

It was a nice path to use to go from Biloxi to Ocean Springs. Go right as soon as tiger over bridge you will find clean beach , splash pad , picnic tables and playground. It is much cleaner on ocean Springs side vs Biloxi side.

Beautiful views and walking the bridge is a great workout. Really beautiful at day break or at sunset. Walk it whenever I am at the Biloxi area.

Every now and then one needs to refresh the soul with a reasonable stroll in nature. You should expect to see and experience costal sights, sounds and breezes during a visit on the gulf coast. Ask you walk. Either over and back or to the middle and back, you will feel the sunshine’s warmth and the pleasurable breezes. You’ll smell the water in the air (a pleasant experience) and see little waves and wind shadows on the water. You can see birds and boats too. Take lots of pictures from the middle of the bridge of the bridge of Biloxi to the west and Ocean Springs to the east. Keep smiling!

Parking on both sides. Portable toilet on Ocean Springs side. Casino on Biloxi side. Walking the bridge is safe and fun. Very popular activity with locals. Benches to sit and enjoy the view. Wide path protected from traffic. Constant breeze means no bugs! Sidewalk continues past the bridge on Biloxi side. Bridge leads to boardwalk with piers on the Ocean Springs side. Tiny park with benches and large colorful mosaic at base of Ocean Springs side.

This is a nice wide bridge connecting Ocean Springs and Biloxi. You can drive over it at 55 MPH or walk/bike over it. Nice view of the casinos in Biloxi with a few of them right at the foot of the bridge

This really is a beautiful bridge to walk or run over. Wonderful views at every step. I should be doing this every week. Pretty clean as well.

So many joggers and sight seers. Beautiful architecture and engineering. But a little impossible to stop on the bridge to take in the magnificent view.

It's beautiful the walk/run path alongside the roadway is protected from vehicles and makes for a scenic and enjoyable exercise option

This bridge is so beautiful day or night but at night it lights up and is a site to see beautiful to watch from a balcony room day or night.

Very nice and high good views, also clean and well maintained. Nice to have a spot for exercises that is safe.

You can take a measured walk on this bridge between Ocean Springs and Biloxi. Well lite now. Stop and see the lovely Gulf View.

We stayed in Ocean Springs on this trip to Biloxi beach & passed over this bridge multiple times during our stay. The view is beautiful & we saw many people jogging, biking, & walking each time we passed.

By selecting a room at the Golden Nugget on the South/East side of the hotel above the 7th floor, you get a great view of this magnificent multi-purpose bridge (cars, joggers & walkers alike).

When we stay at Palace casino, we walk this bridge every morning for a wonderful workout. It takes approximately 70 minutes to walk from hotel to the other side of bridge and back. There is a concrete barrier protecting you from the traffic allowing for a safe walkway.

We traveled over the bridge several times getting to our fishing charters . Lovely view from up top.

It was my first time going over the bridge, was breathe taking, the water was beautiful I can't wait to go back , it was so exciting, very clean and the traffic was good .

As we crossed the bridge the light polls were such an awesome feature the bike/walking Iane had Pokémon stops along the route to add to it’s welcoming features for sight seeing as they stop to play and gaze across the gorgeous bay.

Wide bridge with an excellent view of Biloxi Bay. Nice morning drive. The lanes are wide with a pedestrian sidewalk to use for exercise.

It’s a nice bridge, but CRAZY HOT during the summer! Yeah, it’s totally not Biloxi’s fault that it’s hot in August, but it’s quite a hike across the bridge. We did it from the comfort of our air conditioned car because we wanted to live long enough to do it again someday. But those brave (crazy?) enough to tough out the heat and humidity looked like they were having a great (and sweaty) time.

I enjoyed going from Biloxi to Ocean Springs over this bridge. It was lovely to see the Gulf. The bridge is excellent.

This bridge between Biloxi and Ocean Springs has a hike/bike trail on the Gulf side. It is over a mile long and many people hike/bike it. Great views, fresh air.

One of my favorite walking places. The views and length are perfect for a bike ride, walk, or run. Excellent!

Now I'm not sure if we are talking about the same bridge. We walked on the fishing bridge which is adjacent to the driving bridge. It was a beautiful walk over the Biloxi Bay.

best place to walk in town, clean safe and a great workout. there is a small service station at one end to get a drink and a casino at the other to get a cold drink

We were running behind schedule on our way along Mississippi's Gulf Coast so we had to settle for driving across instead of walking. It was still a fantastic view and amazing to see the bay open up in front of us after driving down from Meridian. Driving or walking, the pelicans are awesome although less than graceful. To quote an old saying by Ogden Nash, I think, "A mighty strange bird is the pelican. His beak can hold more than his belly can."

If you aren't eating like a king, you are definitely doing it all wrong in this area & that's where this bridge comes in: Crossing and back is 3.2 miles so you can burn some calories while taking in a view that may be one of the highlights of your trip.

The walk was awesome and exhilarating! The breeze made it a little cool, but if you are a fast walker, this trek was easy to take.

Crossing this wide and large bridge you get to view what seems to be for miles of waterfront establishments. The view is so surreal.

As many others have said it is a great view to both drive and walk over. It was a bit breezy. There are other locations with as nice if not better views, but this was very easy to get to. Worth the trip on a nice day if you are interested in views of the Gulf

This bridge structure is truly awesome!!! The views from the bridge are simply picturesque. I especially enjoy the walking path on the bridge. The surface is still smooth.

You can walk the bridge on a protected walkway on the east side of the bridge. Nice way to spend some time and enjoy the view.

The bridge is great to get from Biloxi to Ocean Springs. Many people walk the bridge which I think is about 2 miles across. Pretty setting over the water.

Good four mile walk from OS to Golden Nugget Casino (bathroom break!) and back to OS! MY good wife and I have done this for years!

This is a wonderful bridge between Biloxi and Ocean Springs that you can walk/bike over. Not sure, but I think it's about 3 miles (one way). Great walk, overlooking the water away from the traffic.

The bridge is lighted at night and it is stunning. The view from our hotel with the sun rising in the East was spectacular. We saw walkers on the bridge and that looked very inviting. Love the easy access to Ocean Springs from Biloxi

I enjoy this bridge as it is kept clean and you feel safe the entire time on your walk. The view is wonderful and you cannot beat the exercise. Very nice walk from any of the Casino's on the Beach such as the Beau Rivage. I like to make sure I wear a hat and have water to drink. Sun Screen is also a must for me.

Travel this whenever we visit Biloxi and Ocean Springs. Love seeing the water and hotels on the shore. Deer Island, boats. We always travel the 30 mile stretch on Hwy 90 along the coast between Bay St. Louis and Ocean Springs. Gulf on one side of the road the entire distance.

This bridge is one of my favorite places to walk and enjoy the outstanding view. It's like walking on water actually. Open air in the company of others enjoying exercising or simply enjoying a walk across from Biloxi to Ocean Springs. Simply beautiful and an easy walk.

We didnt walk it but it was well kept, clean and beautiful looking. On a cooler day, it would be a wonderful way to spend an hour or so.

A great place to walk in the morning or early evenings. The bridge spans 1.6 miles each way and is usually not very crowded. Beautiful views and I've always felt safe.

Love this safe walking path with beautiful views of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The boats, dolphins and seabirds make this an enjoyable way to exercise. I loved seeing the locks in memory or love of someone. (Just like what I saw in Paris, France)💕

Enjoyed the Casino and trip down Hwy 90 with all the chain saw images made with the trees in the median and Gulf beaches all along the Coast which by the way they were vary neat and clean.

A quick way to get from Biloxi to Ocean Springs, Scenic but also practical. We use it almost daily now.

I am a local that walks every morning at 7am. Its great exercise and such great views. Sometimes you just have to stop and look at Deere Island and the pelicans, sea gulls and shrimp boats. I have thought many mornings how blessed I am to live in such a beautiful town.

This bridge is walkable with a separate secure walking area that offers great views of the Gulf and Bay!

The bridge is great for going between Biloxi and Ocean City. We cross it to go to the restaurants and other stores in Ocean City. We see many people walking or jogging in the pedestrian area. I'm not inclined to do that. During our last trip it sounded like the security of people was in question because the TV had several stories about the security cameras not being used.

It's taking a while but Biloxi didn't let Katrina get the best of the coast. Hard to believe a storm could do so much damage. Even though it's been years, you can still see signs of where something used to be. I remember visiting the coast before Camille in 1969. a lot of beauty has been lost, but the coast is making a comeback. It may not be everyone's cup of tea the way that it's happening, but we were not defeated.

Great way to get exercise and a view at the same time. It get get windy depending on the tome of year, so dress accordingly

There's nothing to get excited about. If you're a runner or like long walks you may enjoy it with the right weather. However, the high walls obscure the view for low profile cars.

The bridge has a walkway for pedestrians with beautiful views of the bay. I walked across it and back after eating at the palace buffet which is nearby.

New bridge built after Katrina is well designed to handle boat traffic underneath while allowing for plenty of traffic to get across the mouth of the Back Bay.

We loved walking the bridge. It is a great workout (even if you're not into that type of thing) and the views are stunning.

Took a nice walk on the Biloxi bridge. Easy walk. Parked on the Ocean Springs side. Just wish they’d have bathrooms, port o let was dirty.

We crossed this bridge several times. It goes up higher than you realize. Nice view of the bay! It is pretty at night when it is lit up!

Smooth ride, scenic, walking lane for exercise (no pets allowed), and there are places to sit and enjoy the view.

Enjoy a truly beautiful view while you are getting exercise. Start from either side because there is parking at both ends.

It is a great way to get exercise and enjoy wonderful views of the bay. It is about a 3 mile walk both ways but there are benches if you need to stop for a bit.

Beautiful drive over the bridge, there is a great walking lane that I unfortunately did not have time to walk. There is a beautiful mosaic wall at the end of the bridge that you have to park and walk over to. The bridge would have been a great place to take sunset pictures from.

If you don't mind looking at the same sight for an hour, take an hour long walk across the bridge and back. There's a wide pedestrian path but it gets tight with bikers and strollers and pedestrians.

For walkers and joggers looking for a great exercise option, the walking path on the bridge can't be beat. The elevation of the bridge and the distance across provides for a great workout, complete with sea breezes coming of the Gulf and a view that absolutely can't be beat!

Such a nicely done bridge. I like the designated walking area and the views are nice. We went over it a couple of times and it is very nice.

Nice walk with great view. It's just a little over a mile each way. Watching the pelicans, seagulls and fish jumping.

Pretty, safe, and scenic. Although it's beside a major traffic route, I don't find the noise level loud on this bridge. My favorite part is the unique plaques of local art to mark the distance at each 0.1 mile. But my kids like the view from the top.

If you’re in the Gulfport/Biloxi area, you should take a cruise over the Bridge! It gives you a great view of the spectacular area. At night, it’s even prettier! Do it!

take the drive over the bridge or walk it if you dare and stop in ocean city and drive the bay road. Old homes and cool town.

You will love the view from this bridge. It is very high above the freeway and the water....We were on a bus being transported to the Beau and enjoyed seeing the view from this bridge.

This bridge is so cool. It goes over the Biloxi Bay and into the town of Ocean Springs. Roll the car windows down and enjoy the ride, sun, and gulf breeze.

That being said, it’s a beautiful bridge, easy to drive with nice views and a nice wide pedestrian and bicycle path on the south side.

Locally known as the Ocean Springs Biloxi Bridge was rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina which total destroyed the bridge. The new bridge has three lanes on each side and a pedrestrian walkway for running , biking and walking. A really improved bridge that runs between Ocean Springs and Biloxi.

A pleasurable way to get in your 10,000 steps. Don’t be put off by the crest as it’s a gradual climb, not even noticeable when you’re with company. I would avoid high traffic hours as it can be very loud. The real shame is the litter that lines the railing between the road and pedestrian sidewalk. I’m assuming it’s trash being thrown from car riders and not walkers.

Walked this bridge several times during my stay. Although you are there beside flowing traffic, it doesn't feel unsafe. Several benches to sit on and take in the view.

This bridge travels over the Biloxi Bay and has a beautiful view of the bay and upcoming casinos if traveling west. You can also walk the whole bridge from Biloxi to Ocean Springs. Beautiful bridge for a welcome to Biloxi.

An incredible work of engineering. After seeing pictures of the bridge after Katrina, this is an amazing bridge. Loved the views of the bay.

This bridge was completely damaged during Hurricane Katrina, it's hard to imagine it now, but the new bridge is slightly higher and more beefed up. The bridge is a main thoroughfare from Ocean Springs to Biloxi.

Drove over the bridge and walked on the white, sand beach on the other side. The sand felt like flour instead of sand; so soft and powdery. What a neat experience. MUST DO.

It was a beautiful bridge that went on and on. Although it was long, I felt very safe driving over it and took many pictures.

We really miss the old bridge that Hurricane Katrina took. The kids said it felt like riding a horse when we crossed it. But this new bridge is much smoother and offers some great views! Plus, the pedestrian walkway offers a nice, safe area to walk and soak in the view.

The views are absolutely outstanding! We were not there to see the sunrises or sunsets, but we can only imagine how beautiful they are.

It is a beautiful walk from Ocean Springs to Biloxi. wonderful scenery. The view of the Gulf was breath taking.

Make sure you bring something to drink and wear your comfortable walking shoes. It's a long walk. But right before sunset is a perfect time to start walking. You can watch the colors of the sky and the water change and it's nice and cool. October/November is ideal. Just be careful in the summer months, cause it can be HOT.

Beautiful sunset looking west (of course) from a 30 minute walk on the west end of the bridge. Walkers are safe from traffic by a concrete half-wall. Parking is available on both east and west ends. Wear a hat or cap and hydrate!!!

I go here during a jog every few weeks. The view is gorgeous, but once you have seen it, there’s not much to it. Benches along the way to stop and rest and enjoy the bay view. No bathrooms on bridge or Biloxi side- port o potty on Ocean Springs side. No shade on a hot day, good breeze usually.

This pedestrian/fishing bridge was right outside the Palace hotel where we were staying so we walked on it every day. It was a lovely place to meditate by the water and enjoy the beautiful breeze. Relaxing start to each day.

Connects Ocean Springs and Biloxi. Beautiful slow rise and adorned with lights. Worth the ride especially at night. On of my Mississippi History favorites.

If you like the water and a vie while you are getting your daily exercise this is a 3 mile long bridge that is perfect for walking jogging and sightseeing all at once and it is right on the hotel road near all hotels.

We walked across this bridge on a warm Monday morning. Definitely bring water and wear a hat because the white concrete reflects the sun. This is a great place for exercise, because it’s 3.4 miles round-trip to cross the bridge and back. Some prior trip advisor reviews said the scenery was great and to take a few photos; I saw no photo opportunities whatsoever, nor did I see anybody else walking or running across the bridge stopping to take photos. So, we were a little bit disappointed, because we were expecting something more scenic. It is a bridge over a big body of water.

I loved the bridges all over Biloxi. They are new and modern and gives you a view forever. Out of season, there weren't any boats on the water. It was breath taking everytime.

As I was driving over this bridge, I noticed they had a pedestrian and bicycle section. If I had more time, i definitely would have loved to walk it; it's lovely and provides a beautiful view of the coast.

Wide walking lanes and bike lane protected by a waist high wall so it's safe from vehicles. Plenty of room for east to west traffic meeting each other.

In town on vacation and decided to go for a walk! The Ocean Springs side had a cool mural before you start. Every .1 miles there is a pretty marker. At about .3 miles there is a bench. I would recommend everyone that is able give it a try!

Beautifully styled, a pleasure to drive bigger pleasure to walk. /wide safe walking lane to fully enjoy and immerse yourself in the beauty on both sides. Stunning at night.

How do you rate a bridge? It's long and wide and you can drive 55 mph. I've never walked or jogged across it, but drive on it all the time. Lovely view looking inland at the Back Bay and casinos or out south at the Gulf of Mexico, it connects Biloxi to Ocean Springs.

The bridge is well maintained and offers a beautiful sight of the Gulf of Mexico. The speed limit is appropriate.

This is a wonderful place to walk , anytime day or night. great view and is used by many people. This is a good long walk so be prepared, take your water or drinks with you

Not sure how it is to drive over it, but walking is the way to go. Very safe walkway. Mile markers. Convenience store on the east side to get a Barq's. Great views from the bridge

Not sure why Trip Advisor would have this bridge listed. It is a nice drive connecting Biloxi and Ocean Springs. It has a wide pedestrian section often filled with walkers and joggers enjoying the view. Wifey and I enjoy the ride as we travel Gulf Coast 90.

This area is very worthwhile visiting and taking photos, etc. Recommend taking the time to check this area out..

Walked along the beachfront (very nice, wide sidewalk that goes all along the beachfront) to the bridge. Interesting and beautiful mural on side of bridge. Walked around to other side of bridge and walked down the long fishing pier. We had beautiful weather and it was very enjoyable.

If you go down by the Golden Nugget you can park on the Bay and fish under the bridge IN THE SHADE important in July. Felt very safe lots of families fishing. Good place to catch crabs.

Whether you walk the bridge or drive it you will enjoy the view. I recommend walking it, and there are places to sit and rest as you go. The views are beautiful and relaxing.

Beautiful view of the area from the bridge to Ocean City. Highly recommend that everyone get off the Interstate and drive US 90 along to coast. Wonderful experience.

This bridge has the very best views, easiest to travel, and added bonus on the Ocean Springs side. Coming from Biloxi take the first right after the bridge and you will find an uncrowed beach, picnic areas, bathrooms and showers. This is a great out of the way area that is beautiful,peaceful, with free parking.

Had a great view from room at GN... If you're a runner or Walker it's a must, or just take a car ride it's a beautiful view all around.

Walked the bridge with a beautiful view of the sea and sky. Of special interest were the many padlocks left by previous walkers. Took about 1&1/2 hours round trip.

The key here is stopping and parking your car before/after the bridge and taking a walk over it. Incredible views. If you're staying locally you can ride your bike over too. Awesome path.

This beautiful new bridge (thanks to Katrina) spans the bay from Biloxi to Ocean Springs MS. Some thought must have been put into the plans. It is 3 lanes in each direction to accommodate the beach traffic and on the south side there is a multi-purpose walking, riding, jogging, skating trail. The trail is 1.7 miles long (one direction) with beautiful engraved markers (every tenth of a mile) each with a picture of Mississippi nature (fish, turtles, alligators, etc.). The path is a good 10 feet wide and well protected from the car traffic. Great views of Biloxi and the bay, birds, and butterflies. We parked in the Golden Nugget garage on the Biloxi side ad we intended to visit them after our walk. There appeared to be parking at a small marina/park on the Ocean Springs side as well.

This bay bridge was incredible to see and do. Walking this bridge was amazing and a very good walk. From the bridge you can see the bay and hotels. When walking this bridge time goes by fast.

My friend along the beach road between bilox i and. Gulfport. We went a number beach mansions, hotels, eateries and several good side shopping areas. Net a you man who highlighted some very interesting sites for us. Took about an hour. We used our shuttle daily pass so very low on cost.

With the new walking lane and parking lots at both ends this bridge is ideal for a healthy family walk.

We 'rode' over the bridge with Coastal Airwheel using their Segway like vehicles along with our guide, Justin. What a way to see the beautiful view from the bridge. It was a blast. If you want to enjoy a round trip on the beautiful bridge, you many want to contact Coastal Airwheel in Ocean Springs for the best view ever.

stayed at palace casino right at foot of bridge and if it wasn't so hot 95 most days we wanted to walk it , it just seemed like it would be a fun bridge to walk its over a mile long

I love going on this bridge. We're from Louisiana and enjoy being around the water. We live on the water, work on the water, and play on the water. It's part of our life and this bridge really makes us feel at home. How relaxing.

This is a great place to get some exercise with great views and no traffic worries. The highway is right on the other side of the barrier, so you have traffic noise. The views of the bay are beautiful. There are distance markers every so often so you can keep track of how far you have walked.

I enjoy walk over the bridge in July while I was visiting my father. It was beautiful view, and a wonder day to walk over the bridge. It clean and safe. As you walk across bridge the are plagues this at give you little history along the way.

My husband and I love to travel over this bridge when traveling the Gulf Coast. We generally stay in Biloxi and travel to Ocean Springs and Pascagoula to do genealogy research. It has a walking lane that always has the energetic folks walking.

This was the coolest thing, you can fish right off the bridge and parking is easy too. Our kids enjoyed watching fish jump in the water.

Stayed at GN for the weekend. Decided to challenge myself by taking a walk on this "monster!" I'm so glad I did. The view at sunset is unbelievable.

We love walking this bridge between Ocean Springs and Biloxi. There are plenty of places to step aside and rest if you need to. Just park for free at Point Cadet and enjoy the view along the way. Bring your water bottle and wear comfy shoes. No shade but nice breezes!

Been many years since my last visit and it's still sad to see where all of the old family historical homes stood along the beach road.

If you need some exercise with great views of the bay, do this. If you need to know where to park, drive over the bridge to Ocean Springs. Take the first right, and you will find a parking lot and access to walkway.

Took a trip over it, just to take a look at it, great view if your down in the area, just drive over it and take a look!

Very easy off and on. Road was very smooth and speed limit was just right for a bridge. Water was very blue and the marshes were full of cranes.

The Biloxi Bay Bridge was nice drive to and from Biloxi/Ocean Springs. There were many joggers and walkers enjoying the nice day.

The night time view is awesome. There was a thunder storm off to the south west as we were on the bridge. It was spectacular.

This is best done earlier in the morning before the sun gets too high and hot. At 3.2 miles round trip, this will take most walkers around an hour, especially if they pause to watch boats and the occasional dolphin making their way into the bay. It's best to start on the Ocean Springs side, where there is adequate parking. Afterwards, one go up Porter Avenue a bit for a well deserved breakfast of delicious coffee and biscuits at the Greenhouse.

Right next to the fishing pier and the Palace casino. It's view is great from the ninth floor of the hotel. Quick link to ocean springs and plenty of shopping.

we been going there maney times the workers are very nice. We fell that we should have been treated better because im a a good casino player and never seem to get a better room, also the food is terrible.

When you arrive in Pascagoula direction from the bridge you will see the Gulf of scenery quite high.

Driving across the Biloxi Bsy Bridge is a real treat.... you can't help but notice the Biloxi skyline with the high rise hotels..... unique!!! Crossing from Biloxi to Ocean Springs... you just know there's going to be a quaint town located on the other side!!!! I witnessed the aftermath of the old bridge that Katrina ripped to pieces.... what a powerful storm!!!! Great scenic drive!!!

Great bridge between ocean springs and Biloxi for all kinds of sport and recreation. The view is incredible. There are several spots that are good for stopping to take in the sights or to stretch.

It is a long and beautiful bridge and the builders made a place to stop and take a picture. The view of the ocean from the high point is wide open and sunrise or sunset beg a picture.

This walkway goes out over the water. Its super fun at night. The bridge is right next to one of Biloxis bigger casinos. Check it out if you have some time to kill on your next trip through Biloxi. Its not an all day activity, but fun anyway.

On a road trip along the gulf, we wanted a pretty place to stretch our legs and get a bit of a taste of Mississippi. The pedestrian walkway on this bridge fit the bill. It was a pretty view, safe path and an easy walk.

This beautifully built bridge was constructed post-Katrina. Locals walk, run and ride bikes to cross over from Ocean Springs to Biloxi or vice versa. A good stretch of the legs and a fantastic view of the coast.

Beautiful views of the bay. Easy to travel back and forth during our 3 day visit to Biloxi. We felt safe traveling in the evening on our way to and from casino night and dinner.

The bridge is about 2miles long with a view of back bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and Deer Island. Often you'll see shrimp boats, pleasure crafts, pelican, sea gulls and more. There are even a few observation stops, and, cameras for security of night walkers. Day walkers can work on a tan while doing their cardio. ;-)

Drive to parking nearby or take the bus. Where else can you have such panoramic views while engaging in a two mile, brisk or leisure walk with a 4 mile round trip?

Biloxi bay bridge is a great place to run wall or just walk up and enjoy the view. We stopped by on a weekday morning and really enjoyed the sun coming up. The view is great. Plenty of parking on both sides of the bridge.

This is the fourth iteration of the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge, over Back Bay Biloxi, that I have known. Most of the others have been destroyed by hurricanes, and then some have just been replaced for a better alignment, and a better bridge.

The current bridge, replacing a similar bridge, after Hurricane Katrina, is a lovely structure. One of the previous bridges is now a fishing pier, and others are now long gone.

The new structure, while being more architecturally attractive, is also wider, and much more efficient. With its arch, there is no longer a draw, or turntable, to allow passing vessels to clear the span. Because of the additional lanes (early bridges here had two, very narrow lanes, plus the operative opening for boats, and were always slow – like 20 mph slow).

Lovely to look at, and highly efficient, the new bridge is the best yet.

This bridge is 1.7 miles one way. It's wide, still fairly new and very clean. It's a great way to relax and to be with nature any day of the week. I only wish I could walk this bridge everyday if I had more time. Some tips: 1. Check the weather before you venture on your bridge walk. 2. Start on the Biloxi side then cross into Ocean Springs to avoid the massive "hump" on the way back. 3. Bring a bottle of water (and of course, empty your bladder before the walk)

The bridge has a great biking/walking path well protected from traffic. We enjoy biking over and seeing the bay views

The one good thing Katrina did was destroy the old bridge. It was just awful.
The new bridge drives extremely well. The walk, run, bike path on the side was a great addition to the bridge. There are always people using the path, but it is never too full. If you go to the beach in Ocean Springs at sunset, the bridge photographs beautifully.

Nice tall bridge connecting Biloxi to Ocean Springs. Large walkway to cross for those that are up for it. Way too hot during the days we were there.

Going back and forth was easy no delays any of the days we travel on it. very good view of Biloxi coming over it.

We had a great view of the bridge from our room at the Golden nugget. And of course drove over it and back again. Smooth and wide.

Hwy.90 from Ocean Springs to Biloxi. This bridge spans the channel. A railroad bridge also spans the channel. Many joggers, walkers enjoy a beautiful site as they cross the bridge. The walking area of the bridge is walled to traffic side so it is safer for the people enjoying the crossing.

The BAY bridge is the perfect view and and if you like to run or walk They have walk way that goes all the way across the bay. So you can run or walk and enjoy the water.

Great place for an afternoon run or simply admiring a nice view of the islands on a clear day! Family friendly

We have walked across many bridges in our travels. No, this one is not as scenic or historic as the Brooklyn Bridge. But it is a wonderful bridge to walk across. Beautiful scenery and a safe walking area which also has places to rest and enjoy the bridge. I don't know if I would try it in July or August, as it gets pretty warm but most of the rest of the year, it's perfect.

I’ve not had the courage to walk or run “The Bridge”. I’ve heard it’s a great workout. My husband and I like to drive on it and look at the lights on it from afar. Quite a beautiful structure!

It is a trea to drive and walk on this bridge. It is well constructed and has a nice walking bridge. You can't beat the view.

We drove over this bridge twice and enjoyed the views. It is a well made, beautiful bridge with a walking trail on the side so people can walk from Biloxi or Ocean Springs and back. That is a long walk, but we saw a number of people doing it.
