My first time visiting resulted in a jackpot handpay and multiple bonus for my husband and me. It's always a great experience when you're willing. The place was clean, with plenty slot and less crowded. Pleasant Surprise!

Had Fun here, spent too much money though.
Will be back to try to win my money back!
Bathrooms are clean

Highly recommend not coming here. Tightest machines I’ve ever played anywhere. My trips here typically last about 20 minutes. I think it would be faster if they could create a way to simply give them your donation directly at then door. I’ve talked to several others who also agree that this place does not pay. Also, bring your donation ahead of time. The atm’s charge a $4.99 fee to withdraw your donation, so you’re already down before you even begin :)

We really like Borders Casino. We have won more than $9,000.00. That's right--$9,000.00 in the last year or so. We don't always win but Borders has been really good for us. Would stop here on way to Winstar but now we just go to Borders instead. Had fun at Winstar but never seem to walk out with $$$.$$--Suggest stay Winstar...Play Borders.

By Mitzi W |

You are allow to “hold” a machine and run around the casino with nothing in the machine. Very unprofessional and the staff has no backbone.

By queenwithmanytalents |

Smaller than Winstar casino, but great fun, great variety of slots, friendly staff, would like to see more waitresses, wish they had a snack bar.

By Shaz K |

We went to this casino while visiting Winstar casino down the road just to check it out. Wasn't sure what to expect as the outside doesn't give a very good impression. Border Casino has now become tradition on our visits. The casino is a lot bigger than you would think from looking at it from the outside and although a little dark and dingy on the inside we always have a fun time. Bar staff are very friendly and always very welcoming.

Like Las Vegas. You walk into a spacious entrance. Slots are not crammed in like Winstar.. Casino has a grill and bar in case you get hungry. There are about 3000 slots. They are a lot better payoffs than Winstar . I hit two big jack pots the first time around. I never get payoffs like that at Winstar. I waked away with a little over $200. My friend won over $300. A little competition never hurts. I will be going back again soon. A little advice on playing the slots. Get 20 one dallor bills . Put $2 in one machine.. If you don’t hit .go on to another slot. When you do hit . Move to another slot. Put winnings in your pocket and don’t cash it in. Lastly pay slots on end of isle not in the middle.. Good luck.

We always have a great time at the Border Casino! We will either stop there before WS or after!! Usually win when we are there! It is nice to be in a smaller atmosphere. Love the slots that are there! :)

By Rb2495 |

4-5 years ago this was a fun place to play. Now it's like most of the other regional casinos in this area.
I was charged $12 to take out $300 from the atm.
The slots are tight to the point that they are no fun to play. The customers looked frustrated and unhappy. I will never be going back to give them my money again. My advise is stay away.

We came to Thackerville to go to the "big" casino down the road. Went into Gainesville and was informed of this casino by a local. Decided to go and it was fun. Slots play and pay really well. Way bigger than you think it's gonna be. What I hated about it ..... you can't get a drink in an actual glass.

By 267lucyf |

This is a smaller casino away from the big Win Star. We found it very refreshing and nice. My husband and I went in to play mostly because we were curious about the little casino down the road. If you are ever in the area you must stop in and play.

By margol641 |

great slots friendly staff. good dining and friendly employees Prices were reasonable and competitative.

Nice Casino venue.

Stopped by on the way to Winstar.
Plenty of newer machines to play.
Won $50 on a 25 cent bet.

We went during the afternoon.
We are non-smokers and were not bothered by others smoking.

It was cold so bring a light jacket or dress warm.

By Black Panther |

I was here years ago before they renovated. It is a very nice place to play now w a good selection of machines. I wish the staff would get off their ass and enforce some rules as way too many a-holes sit at machines they are not playing. I don’t feel I should have to police this. It is clean but the wins are small and they don’t offer a rewards program (sign of a rip off). I need some return on my losses or I’ll go to Winstar.

By paulette95 |

We decided to take break from Winstar and this casino was only a mile down the road. Really nothing to rave about and was very smoky. I think a lot of the locals go here. However, I did win some here. I really would not recommend it over Winstar but was a nice change of pace.

By LaKindle |

Do Not waste your money here. Recently visited...I have played at this casino for years..(Not Anymore).🤬. Let’s begin with...every time I hit bonus play...oh go figure the slot machine would state “configuring please wait..REALLY.. So let’s begin with.. STAY AWAY.. All of the casinos are rigged...
I approached the cashier(I know all by name) I stated,, this will absolutely be the last time I visit this casino.. The employee stated...’Why honey! I stated well let me expound to you what each and every machine messages when a bonus play hits..”configuring please wait... I’m talking every single slot machine in that casino.. The look on his face was priceless... The employees know the Casino is stealing your money...
DO NOT VISIT THIS CASINO

By 25Shirley60 |

Love how big and spacious the new casino is. However, at lot of the games that I played in old casino are not there. I love "Newton the Nudger" the little man that runs out and helps you win...its a lot harder to even win your money back or break even.

By Jack C |

Stashed behind the gas station, a few minutes before you arrive at Winstar, you will find an old fashioned, smoky, low ceilinged casino, with all the machines you love to play, free coffee, a great stop on the way to the biggest casino in the world.

By kariesue |

Just a short stop on our way to WinStar. Impressed with how clean the casino is, ventilation is good. Only problem was that we didn’t win anything

By Kat |

Not a place to go if you have COPD . Had to change clothes ,because they smelled like smoke, when I left and use my inhaler

By MaryBlanco |

Avoid the crowds & freezing a/c of Winstar. Not nearly as glitzy, but we won a lot more. It was recommended to us by a local, & we'll be back.

By alignster |

Feels like Choctaw when you walk in... Never came up not even $1.. the place was clean... There were people working on the machines everywhere... I think I'll wait awhile and let them get everything worked out before I make another trip back.

By GoPlaces727800 |

Being this is Trip Advisor I would advise you to take your money elsewhere. The employees are good and the bathrooms are clean but don't expect much more of a winning experience here as these slot machines are extremely tight. I've been playing here for years and over the past 2 it has become insanely difficult to win even $10 so I started playing less and today was still no different. This casino will no longer be getting my business.

By tonyajones1808 |

Casino was fun and friendly staff. I would definatley go back it is worth the drive. We won some money!

By Sandee787 |

While staying at WinStar, my friend and I ventured down the road to the Border Casino because many people told us that they seemed to win more there. It was crowded, loud, and extremely smoking. (bad ventilation)

By Brenda H |

Loved it here! Won some and lost some overall excellent place to gamble and have fun. Super nice employees, great slots and plenty of parking. They always seem to be adding new machines. Can't wait to go back.

By 282kellyh |

The new building is up and running the old casino is all gone. It was nice on the inside very roomy. We did not win at all but still had a good time several new games that we enjoyed.

By JimmyP5 |

Not clean, smoke, run down feel for being newer than Windstar right up the road..parking lot tight, and slimy.

By 51junco |

No player cards and so many unfamiliar slots. The place is new but on the small side.
Did not stay very long...10 minutes.

By lcbeliever13 |

out of 7 years that i have been going here, i have only won 400.00. so imagine how much of my money they have taken.

By Anita W |

My husband and I visited here in February. The casino has many slot machines, but you have to be careful about what you are betting. Some are confusing. This casino is small and very smoky. Would play here again.

By andy t |

Cheesy little casino, moderately staffed. Compared to Winstar, it's a dump. Compared to a dump, it's okay. Nothing special.

By Doc |

Nice atmosphere. Clean. However, VERY low winning percentage. I’ve only been to a few casinos that show their greed so boldly. When you put $1-2K into a slot machine, and don’t receive a single pay screen... there is a MAJOR problem. My advice to the casino: you will ultimately make MORE if you allow patrons to WIN more often. You know why, so try to contain your greed. Not everyone is an idiot.

By Katie Dennis |

My husband and I would come here all the time back before they made all the changes. I have been maybe once or twice since they changed the name, and there are lots of new games inside. I usually win more often here than I would at WinStar. We loved it here, this place has a lot of memories for us.

By eagles1968 |

It is hard for me because of the cig.smoke.I heard that they plan to build a larger one in the future.

By CeCe |

I like how the have redone this casino. It’s easier access, more games to choose from and spacious. Also glad they expanded the bar and cafe areas.

By Choctaw worst nightmare |

Nice place if you enjoy losing money don't bet Max there cuz you won't win. Only after spending $200. I'm walking around looking at machines the cop wanted to be a hero I guess and say are you looking for somebody. Now keep in mind he saw me playing in machines and at the ATM. little bit of harassment there I would say. I was doing alright on DaVinci diamonds betting a dollar then went to Max and suck my money right up in the payouts when it did hit anything on Max was horrible

By isegundo |

It was a great experience, it is clean, not to packed, lots of parking, nice selection of Slot Machines, nice and helpful staff. So far out of all the casinos that I have been to, I have won the most money at Border Casino.

By Kendall |

Bright open big and fun. I got several red screen respins. I did leave my money there for the electric bill though... I saw someone hit a jackpot of $5000 and my wife said she saw someone hit $4000. The Willie Nelson games near the front are reel fun. (pun intended).
I found several games that would let me play for quite some time. I did win around $300 but spent it back trying to swing for the fences doing some max bets... next time border casino... next time...

By RSM123123 |

First time at Border Casino. New and clean. The cleanest casino I've ever been in. Not smokey on a Sunday. Self-serve Pepsi soft drinks. Easy parking on a Sunday. A lot of electronic gaming. Just down the street from the much larger Winstar, and just over the border (like the name says) from Texas. Couldn't tell how loose the slots were. Did not eat anything but they have a grill/restaurant. Chickasaw Nation.

By Lisa O |

Always enjoy stopping here. Friendly people and machines seem to pay off more often. Heard they are adding on so will be bigger. . A little smoky though . Can’t wait to return

By SarinaPaape |

I absolutely love Border casino. The atmosphere is relaxed and the workers are very nice and helpful.

By David DC Campos |

We recently stayed over at Winstar Casino but were frustrated with the one atm bandits robbing us. We were just piling money into them with not even a tease win every now and then. The restaurants they gave us discounts for was closed and after waiting for an hour in line at the buffet we were told we needed our players pass and would have to go back to our rooms to retrieve. Hell No let's just go, run for the Border. Best decision we had made in days. Cozy atmosphere, nice staff, only slots but if you looked you might find one that gave you a chance. We know gambling is a fool's errand but we just want to have a little fun with a hope of big things. Wife found one that kept her happy for 4 hours. I just enjoyed watching her go
Bartender was friendly and suggested some craft beer that we loved. Great time. Won some. Lost more. Not much though and we could of pulled up but we were there for the thrill. We will definitely go back soon

By 86steeler4life |

Though clearly not as big as winstar, it is comparable in cleanliness, excellent staff and security. There’s a wide variety of machines to choose from and I tend to like this casino overall. Their restaurant is equally as good. Enjoyed this casino. Will visit again

By Mikeh |

Fun place to go as and get away. I do have a problem with panhandlers in the parking lot and inside the casino. With as much security there you would think that they would look out for that or when someone is just wondering about talking to people. It makes me uncomfortable because you dont know what kind of retaliation may come if you turn them in.

By doc191 |

We use to play this casino a lot . I am not sure what the name of it is now
I have not seen the ON THE BORDER name
It was always 777 and then Thackerville casino or vice versa
We were here twice in August and once around the 1st of Sept
The wife and I liked as it was easy to get around in and you could get a decent return on your money either in wins or play time
This ha snot bee the case this last three trips. They have expanded and added new machines
It seems the newer machines give you less play time , the older ones not much better
This was our last hold out on casinos .This one had always been consistent with its payback. Not anymore
Maybe once the achiness and expansion is paid for they will loosen up for play time

By Dusty R |

Felt like I was going to fall through the floors that moved under your feet. Dirty smelly. But if you enjoy riff raft people that seem to be spending their last pennies you might enjoy this place.Machines are mostly old and very tight. I could not stomach to stay for more than about 30 minutes. Will not go back.

By Odyssey627295 |

It was a new Casino, just south of WinStar casino. Went in to get a players card, said they didn't have one yet? We like to play with a players card, because if you don't win at least you get points for meals or some kind of reward! You would think between 5 people playing at one would win something....Wrong! All five left $200 apiece and no POINTS on a card! So went to WinStar, their you can get points! With your players Card. Don't think we need to go Back, until they at least get CARDS!

By Evelyn Jose |

A little hide away I enjoyed going in and straight to the games just large enough to get around play and back out ...🥰

By Pedro G |

Checked this place out on our way to Winstar. It's less crowded, but has less machines. It's okay if you just want to play some slots.

By Islandmomma4ever |

I was so excited about the new Border Casino opening. I was left disappointed for many reasons.

We went on a Sunday and the music was insanely loud! So loud that we left earlier than planned, not smart people, don't you want us to stay? It's not a club, it's a casino!

Machines were tight, guess we have to pay for the new casino. Lots of machines weren't working, and so many were dirty, with full ashtrays and glasses sitting around. I saw one person cleaning up. Surely there was more than that on a Sunday. Still very smokey for a new casino too.

No players club cards so what's the point for me to keep going? None!

Furthermore, there's goat trails for walking because the machines are packed in so tight.

I usually like to try and find something positive so let me see. Oh we lucked into a great parking spot! Yep that's it!

By sirpres |

A nice new casino, next to Winstar. Not as big as Winstar, but easy to move around in and the slots were fun.

By gonelliebird2 |

The casino isn’t as large as Winstar, but same great gaming experience and great food at the restaurant.

By Veloris M |

After spending some time at Winstar it was nice to come to a smaller casino. No cards to insert into the machine, just play.
Its gaming area covering 88,000 square feet has over 900 electronic gaming machines. There are no tables. So, if you want to avoid crowds, come to Border Casino, a mile or so away from Winstar.

By Craig F in |

This was a last minute thought to stop in and look at and can say it was a good time. Wish we had more time to play.

By 520johnnyd |

After our most recent visit to windstar was great but on our way home we stopped at border casino and its not a windstar but if you want to avoid the big crowds and. Have a little more quiet. Not much more but some then border casino is for you. Although there parking lot was full it wasn't packed inside. I like that more than being all overcrowded. Had didnt win but we dont go to win we go to enjoy time away from home even if for just a few hours.

By rklow |

This casino is quite dark, they do not offer player cards & the machines are pretty tight. We did not care much for it. We prefer to be at WinStar. Won't go back.

By Kitk85816 |

Tight slots, no one winning unless maximum bet played.
Left and went to Winstar and won.
You decide.
Casino was nice, but I don't like hot dogs 😉

By Debbie W |

I Love this casino! I like to go there because it is not as crowded as WinStar. If you love to play the tables, they do not have any. They do have a bar if you like to drink alcohol.

By TexJohnny |

The only reason I can see visiting this casino is that you want to avoid the enormity of WinStar. I found it to be very smoky (and my wife smokes so I'm not a fanatic). I understand it's a new building but they didn't address this issue very well. In the future I will always drive right by this one and go to WinStar.

By kloverfield |

I was surprised at the size once inside. It's bigger than it appears from outside. Won money here so can't complain about a thing. Not anywhere near as upscale as WinStar but we were there to have fun and win some money - didn't mind the older building and outdated decorations.

By granbucks2 |

If you don't care about racking points this casino is fun. You don't get a players card but from what I could see there's no reason to earn points. There is a place to dine, though we didn't. It's a new building with lots of new games and a variety to the old favorites. I wish we could have one Player's Card earning collective points for all the Choctaw Casinos. We visited several and have liked them all!

By Derick C |

I have to honestly say I have never won out of here. Talk about tight slot machines. If I am gonna lose I rather head up the road. This place is very bland. A big trailer with a bunch of slot machines and average payout.

By j jesus r R |

I been there almost every week and has not winning anything for the past 7 months this people are greedy will not pay need to go to Choctaw may get some

By Blanca A |

The WinStar can learn a lot from this small casino with great customer service. We had a blast gaming here and we will be back. The staff was great and so eager to assist us and never made us feel like we were a bother. All staff was working all the time and were ready to help us with all of our questions. Thank you for treating us like real people!!!

By Ronnie Cripe |

Small casino but no problems.I had a little luck.Worth the time. It's not Choctaw but a good place.I have to write 100 characters so blah, blah;blah.I saw a jackpot winner yesterday.$1250.

By Tiffany R |

one in eagle pass then their other in livingston reall clean staff super nice the games really pay great not a place that when you walk into the first thing they want iis the shirt off your back you can enjoy your play red spins all the time non smoking rooms that are large clean oh real food like steak full breakfast comfort food real cheap like i said the staff will wear you out on asking you are you confortabie need a fresh coke bottle water oh ya cards points add up fast for more free play whije you are their not a month later

On Saturday my sis and I were going to play at Borders Casino. We had not had been in a Winstar room that Friday night. We just wanted to freshen up in the restroom at Borders. We got there around noon and I was carrying my beautiful large silver Victoria Secret bag. The bag was full of clothes and stuff to freshen up with. I noticed the security guy did not speak or return my nod as I came in.
My sister left before me and she did not bring much. While I was stll changing, I noticed that no one was coming in & there was a lot of comotion outside the bathroom.
As I was walking out, I was greeted by four security guys and two other workers. The door area was blocked with a tall orange border. They were looking at me and asked me what was I doing in the bathroom so long. I told them but that was not good enough. They said that they wanted to look thru my bag. I said it's just my clothes I changed. You can play back the video beside... I am going straight to my car now. They insisted that my bag had to be searched.
As an educator, I knew my rights were being violated so I said "what are you guys going to do if I don't allow it"? They said you cannot leave before We see what is in your bag.
I felt angry and threaten so I said "Do you really want me to show you my personal private things in front of all these people"? They said you can go in the bathroom and show the worker. I was pissed a humiliated but I knew I was innocent. She made me open my bag but she wanted me to do the dirty work. Of course, she only saw my stuff & I could see that she was dissapointed that their racial profile did not work. By the time we came out some of the cowards had left. They did not even apologize for holding me for no reason. I told my sister who had been waiting for me to let's get out of this place and left immediately.
My belief is that this only happen because we were black. I plan to make them aware of this today. No one should be subject to this. There are no signs that say no large purses. They simply picked on us because they were untrained and bored. They don't have anything to steal in the bathroom the cleaners should be locked. I know we did not look like boomers so what in the world were they trying to prove.

By Longhorn_Frog |

It's not easy to find because there are no road signs and it sits back a bit, but if you take exit #1 in OK just over the border from TX, you will find it. There are only slot machines here, but that's what we were looking for anyway. It is a very clean facility and the slots are pretty loose (better than Winstar). We were there 3 days and actually ended up winning some $$ - we will be back.

By Tiffany R |

when they opened up casinos in the so called indian land the goverment said they can only keep 25% of the money we put in it hum not so they say it pays on bingo patterns not so it hits on open dimeons not so small dimeons not so private stripes not so 100 dollars on max bet on a 5 dollar machine it takes 80 dollars to hit on small diamons wow we are really are paying for the up keep on all of the windstar overhead they are not in complance with their 25% ahreement with the feds if your lucky to get a jackpot on the high limit games it pays out low pay like say the high pay out is 100000 on a polat roller 5 dollar it pays 129900 wow talking about fraud umm they say they dont set thre machines up its vgt no arisrucfat the have no control but the do they know when their goinging to be a high pay out night becaude they over load the floor with employes in the high limit area then they day their not with the windstar ot any other ones really in really disapointed in their lying and money landraying even the gaming comm that gets his pay undet thr table to look the other way sounds like the old vegas ro me

By itzacarla |

The smoke is unbearable. It’s really really bad. Large amount of slot machines. I don’t know who gambles without the expectation to win sometimes. This is a hit or miss casino.

By J Snyder-Alonzo |

This small casino offers slot and poker machines, only. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Parking is easy. This is a great place for a short stop to gamble.

By Gregory M |

they changed up their slot machines about 6 weeks ago. the lucky duck macines no longer have the little ducks come across, plus if you do hit a red screen the macine makes a lot of agravating noise, and the payoffs are poor. also it seems like the machine runs slowwer than before they reprogrammed them. treasure valley in davis is a lot more fun to go to, but it is further from texas, but beats border casino

By Kirk W |

My wife and I like it, we did win and thought it was ok for its size. It has around 700 slots. They don't issue player cards here. They also had an assortment of machines. There maybe a place to get food besides vending machines. There is a gas station in front of it.

By Black Panther |

I decided to try this out based on the reviews. It was small but larger than you would think when viewed from the outside. Service was okay but I found myself bothered by the smoke so we decided to cut our visit to just about an hour and went to Winstar. If they could deal better with the air we would have stayed long enough to lose money lol. Parking is tight and could use some renovation but I don’t see much investment here as it is small and draws a fair crowd. Payouts were fair but that was just over an hour so who knows if the smoke hadn’t drove us out.

By Jaime C |

I really like going here. The staff is great to work with. The slots machines are okay and plenty of them. They added a new section and I kinda of like it...Play Lucky Ducky and he win more than lose. LOL

By Beinghonest😊 |

Just a nice casino! It's not to big but then it's not to small. Plenty of machines to pick from. We always do well here.

By kesh594 |

My oldest son and I come and play slots when he is in from college. He always thinks we should stop here and check it out. So finally, fri may 13th 2016 we stopped and left about 130.00 up. It is a great place we were there until 10 pm but could still move about and get on machines with ease. Wont lie at that time on a fri crowded and some areas smoky, but its the same way down the way on a fri night. None of that applied 3 hours earlier when we stopped. No card to mess with, cute snack bar with simple reasonablly priced stuff like fritoe pie, free soft drinks and tea. More calm and the staff is friendly. We will stop again!!!

By Jda W |

I don’t like how they don’t have any player cards to get rewards. The atm prints out a voucher for change which is annoying. This feels like a place to just donate with no payouts. Hopefully the slots will get loose one day. I liked the old Borders, but now every machine just took
my money , but no wins. Will try to visit again next year, hopefully the slots can be a little better.

By Trickstersawpix |

Small casino with mostly new machines, pretty good pay record, Another smoking casino but not too bad if it's not too crowded. Worth a quick stop.

By Jaime C |

I been lucky in the last 2 years at the border and was excited to see the new building. I walk in on day one and Mercy it was crowded and did not get to play $5.00 Money Bags or 1-10 Ruby because they were being played all over the casino. My luck for trip one was awful and lost 700.00. I wish they would put stars on the machines that can over to the new building so that I can find those here. It will be a while till I get comfortable here. FYI...very smoky for the new building ( thought they would have better filter's)

By Nated2519 |

Large casino. There are a lot of slot machines. We did pretty well. We did not lose all our money. Just remember it's a casino. You win some and lose some.

By Chicacherycola |

My daughter and I went here on a weekend getaway. It’s very nice and so much bigger than the old building. I kept hitting small payouts enough to stay and play for a while.

By Jaime C |

I went there with my wife during the last few weeks and the machines have hotter than the weather. We hit 4 jackpots that required us to show our i.d.'s. That has never happen to us. We have been coming here for over a year and this last month has been out of this world with loose slots.
The Staff and local on site police have been amazing in helping collect.I would never recommend another casino.

By Brenda A |

Same atmosphere as winstar without the hassle of a card. It's smaller so you won't loose your party but still wander around. Son hit big on his visit. Me not so much but I did break even.

By dolmol64 |

Liked the atmosphere..place very clean..¹
I will definitely be going back in September..
I just didn't get to sign up for membership
Highly recommended

By Teresa K |

Just wanted to check this out...didn't win...no service for drinks. older machines but it is a lot larger inside than it looks.

By Brian W |

We just stumbled upon Border Casino. We were going back to Texas from the Winstar Casino and we say a building lit up down a road that we had never been down, so we decided to go investigate. It was the Border Casino. We went in and it was very new and clean. There was very little smoke in the air as opposed to Winstar. (Yeah, Winstar does have a nonsmoking room now.) Border Casino has about 2,300 slots and electronic games. I didn't see any table games but maybe I missed them. We enjoyed playing some of the slots/games. We watched some people win. We also had some wins. It's always great to take home some of the casino's money. We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.

By vicky m |

This is our first stop everytime we go to Winstar!! I like the small area. It's fun to play there. Sometimes we stop back by on our way out. have won a few times also!

By frecklesmom51 |

Love this little casino. Friendly and lots of different machines to play. The place is clean and plenty of room to roam.

By Ronnie B |

same as my review for Winstar this place used to be an ugly place that resembled a trailer but it was fun because the slots were loose. The food was awesome too. Frito Chili Pie w cheese and onions was the best. However over the years the place got prettier but the winning got uglier. Went from 08 to just a few months ago

By Gerald B |

Lots of slots, pennies, nickels, and more. Worth a visit. Staff friendly and helpful. Will go again.

By CAROL T |

This small casino could be missed if you are not looking for it. It is a little gem. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The machines seem to be a little looser than the ones at WinStar, so it is a nice treat to go there either before or after going to the Big Casino! It is a little smokier than I like it to be, but I never stay more than an hour or two, so it is manageable and pleasant.

By klhk |

We saw this on our last trip to the bigger casino in the area and actually spent more time here at Border Casino. It was clean and nice. Not cold. They actually had quite a few games and we truly enjoyed it.

Small casino on the outside area of winstar. Fun place to gamble with the locals and had loose slots. Give it a try

Vist this casino in August. Staff friendly. Bathrooms were clean. But Man, it reaped of smoke and I smoke.

I can win in this place all the time, machines are loose and a very small place but a lot of fun I love stopping in here and finding different machines, its up the road a little from Winstar, do stop in and check it out.

went back again. lucky duck macines , still pay poorly . no little ducks come across the top anymore. that was what was fun about these machines. mr money, the same way,use to have a feature where a curtain would open up to let you win. they just are not fun anymore. i will go back in a month, to see if anything has changed. also casino air quality is poor, feel sorry for the people that work there.

Love going to the border casing. there are plenty of slots to chose from. it's just big enough where can move around but not lose your people

We stopped in for less than hour nothing hitting and way too much smoke. It looks like they might be build a new facility behind the original?

Small local casino very close by to the WinStar. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a fun gaming experience.

I like to gamble. I grew up not too far from Atlantic City NJ and have been to Vegas many times
Gambler in many other countries, cruises, all over Louisiana and Oklahoma too

So when The Border opened it’s new facility I was excited

Allegedly a new air filtration system etc

So we went today, and I saw something I never expected to see in a casino- a robbery

I was playing a machine by a door and I hear a commotion, see some woman run by with her shirt hanging off and watch an older woman fall face first into the rug.

It took a moment to realize the woman that fell was an older victim and the perp ran out into the parking lot, as of me writing this - three hours later- the perp has not been apprehended.

I told the security person at The Border that I saw the woman fall- HARD and she needed an ambulance
Instead they offered her water and detained her, in the nicest way possible, for hours

She was holding her head and answering a million questions for HOURS but I didn’t see anyone try to find the perp.

They said “we have a description” and “we’ll do a search” but I didn’t see anyone move

The victim kept saying- hours later- “I need my billfold back”

Couple that with no loyalty card,EXTREME smoke (far worse than Winstar IMO, the size being very small and no restaurants open yet - it was a bad vibe all around

The soap dispensers in the bathroom didn’t all have soap either

I also had an odd experience- I’ve been playing slots for many years and only had this occur a handful of times. I was playing the $.88-$8.88 machines and specifically played the $.88 level to check them out

On THREE different machines the bet flipped to $8.80

I’m not sure if maybe I was shaken up from earlier or what but found that yet another nail in the coffin for this experience

The positives, and reasons it’s not a one star review are that the cocktail waitresses are very friendly and quick

One of us won and one of us lost - the games were sporadically loose overall but I hate to hit a bonus and reap $.95 for it

I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the new Border Casino with nearly 2,300 machines. It's definitely worth the wait. First I'm a long time low rolling gambler "slotaholic" LOL I go to relax not just to win ( which is a good thing too but) I go to relax, laugh have a great time. Well the new Border Casino is all that and more. I walked in with $80. And walked out with nearly $2 grand. I hit a $1,057. Jackpot on a .75 bet. I hit $739. On a .50 a line Ruby red and in other words the slots were smoking hot. Give this newest Oklahoma gem a try it's definitely a must visit. It's masterfully laid out has a new state of the art ventilation system for those who don't like smoke. Abundant drink servers, all in all I've been to a lot of casino's but this new Border Casino is definitely a " must visit place". Thanks Gov. Annatubby and council for giving us a great place to play 😁 and win!!!

We were at Texas Motor Speedway heading north on I 35 - Border Casino was first exit , great little place, one note we really loved was out front they offered gas & fuel about $.20 cheaper than any we had seen. Worth the stop!

I play "Classic" style machines exclusively, i.e., Lucky Ducky, Mr. Money Bags, Red Ruby, Crazy Cherries, etc. All of these machines are chrome around the buttons. The non-diffused spotlights shine directly on the machines and reflect off of the machines and practically blind you. Very unpleasant. If their light was even slightly diffused I would give them a 4 or 5 but the way it is they don't even deserve a 1. I won't be back unless I hear they have done something about lights. WinStar is only 3 minutes away.

This is a good sized casino dispite the look outside. There are 3 seperate rooms and they have a large variety of machines.

This is a nice little casino with about 500 machines. It looks like the casino was built using trailer type buildings. Low ceilings and a lot of local people. But I had fun while there.

The Border casino is a great little getaway! It's right before you get to the Winstar. Don't expect nice restraunts, they gave one bar That serves snacks, hot dogs, nachos and cold resfreshing drinks! They have a really nice bartender! She stays busy! They do have drink stations throughout, and clean restrooms. I like going in and meeting people listen to the music,to me the music makes this place, they have themes, one night can be the 80s next time old country. It's a great place to gamble. Lots if machines,I personally have hit 4 jackpots. I'm really looking forward to the expansion. Currently it's like 3 trailers hooked together. The casinos popularity is growing! The only drawback no players cards, no perks or rewards.

We started coming here 4 years ago and have always had a good time, actually leaving with more money than we came in several times. This year the new beautiful building replaced the old small place. Many more machines to choose from and a couple of free beverage stations. They have a small restaurant where you can get a large hot sandwhich, made to order, with fries or onion rings for about $8. Another change is that the redemption machines no longer give out coin change. You have the option of donating the coins to one of several worthy causes, or taking another ticket for the coin value. Clever way of supporting the community. We'll continued to visit here on our annual trip to Winstar.
