Great Fishing and crystal clear water. Interesting Hydroelectric Dam and visitor center to check out.

We visited during July for a long weekend boating trip. The lake was fabulous, the water is crystal clear and beautiful. My son loves to wakeboard and said its the best water he's seen. It's like you have the lake to yourself, it's never crowded. Definetly worth the drive.

Beautiful lake. Caught lot's of fish :) The weather was perfect and the lake was not to crowded. Really enjoyed it :)

This lake is gorgeous and so peaceful. Arkansas has several BEAUTIFUL lakes this being one of them.
This is a family friendly area and highly recommended.

fantastic scenery all year round ..sunset on the lake --clean clear water for swimming and boating..do not tell anyone we want to keep it our secret.

I went over here to go camping for a couple days while visiting some family in the near area. I found the campgrounds clean, well stocked and generally speaking a good time.

Me and my friend got on the white river and got some record trophy trout, used his pop up trailer. Great camp site with all the amenities.
If you like to fly fish this is the place!

exciting! CLEAN water, nice to swim, ski, tube,or just relax.big! family fun.deer everywhere, we love it

The lake was wonderful, other boaters were respectful and the water was perfect. We went on an off week so there was maybe 4-5 other boats on the lake. The lowest level we found was about 30 feet. There is also an island with a beach that I hear is popular although we did not venture the 8 miles to the attraction.

the lake is so soothing, clear, beautiful, relaxing, would love to spend more time there, If I could, It over looks the Ozarks

This was our second visit to Bull Shoals State Park. The campsites are very nice with 50amp and sewer and most are pretty level. The visitor's center is a wonderful first stop with an abundance of information about the area and offering special programs. We took the lake cruise and really enjoyed the 2+ hr trip which included viewing the bald-headed eagles along the shore. We can't wait to return!

Crystal clear water-Great fishing
Good access atTheodoosia, MO

We've been going for over 20 years now, beautiful lake ! Very clear, great fishing and boating.
No boat traffic even on holidays, all the parks are well maintained for easy hook up of travel trailers or just use a tent.

The dam is small and it is very pretty. It was under construction when we went over it.

View from the dam is wonderful & the visitors center is great.
Be CAREFUL driving thru LAKEVIEW, it is commonly know to be a speed trap! Don't spoil your lovely day! It is a great trip

Anchor your boat in one of many quiet isolated coves and enjoy the wonderfully clear water. Check out your toes (at least 10 feet vertically) while floating in your own space.
Holiday weekends bring more people but still relatively free of the big and fast boats. Refreshing, invigorating activity for everyone!

I am here on the lake for work for the next few weeks. I have been on both Table Rock and Beaver. Both of those lake are amazing and this lake is the same. It is deep crystal clear water. There is very little boat traffic and very few houses on the lake because it is a Corp of Engineers lake. I haven't been on the lake long but I have already noticed a lot of fish and wildlife along the lake. The deepest portion of the lake is about 210 feet deep near the dam. If I wasn't working I wish I was fishing or wakeboarding right now. Beings it's fall and past the end of the season, the water is still almost 80 degrees (It's Oct 1st) and no one is out but a few fishermen. I am looking forward to seeing more of this lake over the next few days and I would recommend this lake to anyone wanting to get away from the traffic near Branson on Table Rock or at Lake of the Ozarks.

I moved to the area earlier this year. The shoreline is beautiful, the water is crystal clear and the views are awesome. Sunsets are magnificent! We actually got married this past June at the Highway 125 Park on the sundial. The marina is great and the campground is quiet, lovely and well kept. We go there frequently just to cool off in the cool, clear water.

The colors , size and shapes of the trees, mountains and streams are jus the wonder to bohold. And this lets you know it is God's work and is showing off to the world.

Beautiful and peaceful. Scenery is breathtaking. Water was 30 feet high but did not keep me away. May can be a little stormy but also beautiful, as the picture depicts.

Our family took a family vacation to Mountain Home, Arkansas and stayed at Blackburns Resort it was a wonderful resort very clean and had everything we needed just like home. The owners are very friendly and in fact we even had a fish fry there one night with all the other guests and great country music. Went out on Lake Norfolk and Bull Shoals lake with a pontoon boat caught quite a few fish. Did some shopping at Walmart up the street from Blackburns Resort for groceries for our cabin. We will go back there again and stay.

Great fishing for trout and walleyes in a scenic setting. Night fishing for walleyes is fine and the trout fishing in the tail waters is beyond wonderful. Air port for fly in near Gaston's Resort. Guided trout fishing or you can wade some areas of the White Tail waters.

Lots of great park areas, and the nature center is a wonderful place to visit. Plan to stay a while.

This is a clear lake that is not crowded and offers good boating and fishing. If you do not own or rent a boat it is a hard lake to enjoy. There are not many beach type areas. It is a very rocky shore. The core of engineers really protects the lake from houses so the shoreline is very forested which makes for beautiful scenery. There are not a lot of towns close tot the lake so amenities that people are used to are not prevalent such as movie theaters, putt putt, plethora elf restaurants Etc... The White river is near the lake so trout fishing is available as well. Overall t is a Great Lake for enjoying nature but may lack in common amenities mat people have become used to on vacation.

We have been coming here for 20 years and the fishing gets better and better. Stay at the Wagon Wheel Resort. Clean and owners very accommodating.

Great for fishing, water sports, swimming, and boating. I love to take a dip on hot days. The water can get very warm.

This lake is amazing. Great for swimming, boating, being on a houseboat. sking, diving, you name it. This lake is clean, and has lot's of amazing sites to see if you are a diver. The fishing is amazing. From catfish, to walleye, to crappie, you can catch about anything, and some very, very large fish. There are plenty of docks on the lake, if you need gas or snacks or drinks. Come for a weekend, move for life. You will fall in love with the lakes and rivers in Arkansas.

We spend a lot of time on Bull Shoals Lake. We are usually on a houseboat or pontoon. The water is so peaceful and clear. No pollution here! We like to go during the week when there are less people. We even like the weather out there in early Oct. or early May. This is a great place for skiing, fishing, or diving. If you need to rent a boat, check out Bull Shoals Boat Dock. There are some great resorts, beaches, and campgrounds in the area. This is a great place to spend a day or a week!

We have been coming here with our friends for several years, and we love it. The water is clean, the lake is large and uncrowded, and it's great for boating, fishing, swimming, and snorkeling. Our friends have bought a home in the area and will retire to it soon, and hopefully we will do the same. It's a beautiful lake in a beautiful area. Come and see it for yourselves.

Wanted to do a last minute getaway for July 4th.Heard about this beautiful lake.It was a 4 hour ride from Saint Louis. I was lucky to rent a boat for only $25 for 5 hours. It is a beautiful lake.Enjoyed the 4 hrs of the boat ride.Would certainly recommend this attraction for a peaceful get away.

Bulls Shoals is a beautiful lake in northern Arkansas almost on the Missouri line too. Bass fishing at its best. Great camping facilities, hiking in the area. Fresh water seafood abounds in restaurants in the area.

We stayed at Fish-un-time resort. We had SO much fun! The lake was unspoiled, clean and amazingly beautiful. Our children snorkels, swam and had a ball! They each caught 10 fish! The lake was crystal clear, I've never seen anything like it. We are already planning on going back.

We love bull shoals lake. Its very clean and clear. We could see 20 feet down. It is very low boat traffic perfect for water sports amd safe. I highly recommend visiting once. It becomes an addiction!

We used to spend summers on Bull Shoals in the Theodosia Marina area. Water is glass smooth, traffic is very low, restaurant serves great burgers, and the site is very beautiful. Water is warm and comfortable during the summer. We towed our boat from California just to put it into Bull Shoals to experience the magic. I understand it's a world class Bass fishing destination as well.

Great Lake to be at. Clean and small place to bring the family. Many different resorts to stay at and even a few boat marinas

Year after year in my youth, we went to the Twin Lakes, typically Norfork, to fish and ski. My family also took a 2 week vacation annually, but my mind and heart was always in AR. Years ago, I knew I would retire there. 10 years later, I did, on lake Bull Shoals. I love it! It's clean, big enough that there's never heavy boat traffic, typically smooth and beautiful!

.they raise and lower the laketoo much to suit everybody.but they keep rebuilding things.at this moment the lake isvery low.it isat least 20 ft low and still dropping . no one knows where they will stop.

Very beautiful lake! The water is very clear and at one point, I could see the different shades of blue with the different depths of water. It made going out on the boat very nice! No choppy water or fish trying to swim by you. Just beware of the current, as our boat kept drifting and we had to reset the anchor several times.

We love the lake area, live on it, fish it, dive it, jet ski it, beautiful, eagles, ducks, trees.....can't say enough good about it!

Bull Shoals Lake is a crystal clear, beautiful lake located in the hills of the Ozarks. It is a Corp of Engineers Lake so there is very little building right on the lake which gives it a very clean, undeveloped appearance from the water. The fishing can be great at times but is very different because of the very clear water.
The cities of Bull Shoals and Lakeview are sleepy, small communities but every location on the lake is within 15 to 20 minutes of Mountain Home which offers a fair amount of Restaurants and Shopping. It is also the head waters to some of the best trout fishing in the US, the White River.

Good lake for scuba diving. Boating also. Visibility is somewhat limited underwater but is the best in the area.

If you want to go to a lake to be on a lake, this is your lake. If you need lots of restaurants or bars to visit, go to Table Rock. The water is clean and it's not crowded. Lots of fishing going on, but lots of leisure boating too. There are many smaller resorts with very reasonable rates. This has been our summer destination for over 25 years.

This very large lake is ideal for catching all kinds of freshwater gamefish from bass to crappie and walleye. It's also perfect for water sports and swimming on designated beaches.

My family always has a great time on Bull Shoals. It's beautiful and fishing is always good!

very calm water and lots of it even though the lake is way down. Hardly another person in sight. We'll be back.

We had an awesome time on Bull Shoals Lake thanks to Tucker Hollow Marina!!
As we were spending a week in Branson, we decided to take the kids tubing for a day. Tucker Hollow and Bull Shoals were recommended to us and weβre so glad that we went there rather than the over crowded Table ππ¨ππ€ Lake. We were the only boat on the lake and had a blast.

Book a tour of the lake via the Bull Shoals information centre. We went in the evening around six so not too hot. The volunteer guides were very knowledgeable and picked out interesting points along the way. We were also lucky enough to spy bald eagles and their nest and babies. The tour brochure stated 1.5 to 2 hrs on the lake but our was lucky to go the full hour. Otherwise well worth it.

We had all afternoon to drive around Bull Shoals Lake. It had some of the most beautiful scenery you could imagine. Well worth the time it takes to see this pretty part of Arkansas.

Rented a pontoon from Bull Shoals marina (great group of people!) Spent the day exploring the lake. Beautiful scenery, clear water.

This lake is great for boating, fishing, and diving. There are usually lots of houseboats floating around. It has crystal clear water and is very peaceful. Definitely a lake to visit if you're looking for a relaxing getaway!
Lottsa Fun
Great place to run your boat - fish - and just have fun. Great swimming, and other water sports. You name it, and you can either do - or try doing...
