Amazing Memorial Day BBQ

By Taylor C |

You have to rent Pavilions but we went to a picnic spot under a tree for Memorial Day (for free). There were 25 of us with babies to adults. Everyone had a blast and enjoyed the lake nearby. The staff came by at the end of the day to dump the trash cans and he was super nice as well. $1.50 for each person in the car to get in and we'll worth it! They had a barbecue near by the picnic tables and even a small path for people to skateboard on. They also had a dock nearby to fish off. Amazing park

Best place to go with family

By Shaynet R |

If you're looking for an inexpensive way to have Thrills of a water park, CB Smith's Park will be the place for you. I tend to go every single year with my kids cuz it beats the price of water rapids even though they don't have the rides at Water Rapids half but you still get some Thrills you still get the lazy river and for the little kids the best place to take them to. You can bring food in you can have a party there you can bring drinks and enjoy your entire day at the park.

Great fun!

By Evergreen109 |

Lots of fun for kids (including us adult kids) of all ages. Great pool selections of varying depths to accommodate all sizes. Water slides and lots of fun water toys. Limited food menu but very tasty. Park is well kept and very clean! Highly recommenced !

Awesome water park

By CLAUDIA L |

You can not miss the water park (hope you find a free parking spot). Also, the cabins are good for throwing bdays parties or having a family afternoon

Super Campground!

By Team_D_NC |

This is a super park! The campground is clean, safe, well maintained and has a great location. It is perhaps one of the quietist and more peaceful campgrounds I have visited in a while. The campsites are nicely spaced out, the Wi-Fi offers plenty of band width and within the park there is a lot to keep you and your family busy for a couple of days. We especially enjoyed visiting the waterpark. I would highly recommend staying here.

GOLF Practise, Practise, Practise

By Ron M |

Just visited the Park to go to the Drving Range but it has a lot more to offer. The range was good and you can play off mats or grass. The balls are typical golf range quality. They have a small pro shop and offer lessons from PGA professionals. Lots of fun.

Great for HOT days

By Jacqui Q |

This place has a great water area for those hot days. The kids will definitely love it.. Its also great for family functions

Tons of fun!!!!!

By Richelle D |

This park is perfect for the family. With a water park within the park; the kids enjoy their day while the adults sit and relax under the trees. Such a great location as well. Close to grocery, mall, and freeway.

By Suzi V |

Nice urban park with large campground facilities

By FL_TraveltheWorld |

The road in this park is very winding. There are multiple activities including a water park and picnic areas.
This county park has a large campground filled mostly Class A RVs. Some sites are lakefront.

Great for picnic lunch!

By mwooduk |

My best friend and I met here as it is halfway between our homes. We were able to avoid the long traffic lines of people waiting to get into the park for Covid testing and manage to find a nice picnic table where we could have a socially distant outdoor lunch and then go for a walk afterwards. It was so nice to get together during Covid in a safe and socially distant manner. Very nice park with a lovely walking trail. No charge to get in at the moment and friendly peacocks!

By Smiley39 |

What a great family park. My family and I spent the day there and we loved it. Both my 2 and 5 year olds had a blast. The "kiddie" area was wonderful and I could feel comfortable because there were lots of lifeguards in every area. The affordable admission was also nice. I don't know of anywhere the entire family can go for a total of $20 (family of 4) and have as much fun as we did. If you're in the area, you have to stop by.

Such a great value

By rp0625 |

This water park is not huge and won't blow you away with fancy slides, but we loved it. There are a bunch of big slides, small slides and lazy rivers. The price, at less than $10 a person can't be beat. Save yourself the money and go to this park vs. the big ones.

By JANET S |

We have attended children's sports competitions in this park but it offers many, many other opportunities for family fun and entertainment.

Nice stopover

By OutOfPlaceCuban |

Stayed 1 night on or way to the keys. The park was sufficient for our needs, site was very level just hard to get into with a large fifth wheel, had to move the picnic table and drive on grass just to make the cut into a pull through site. The wildlife is abundant and nice to see. The only disappointment of this campground was the ladies in the office at check in. They didn’t have any kind of welcoming personality and they weren’t very nice either. Here’s the conversation:
Employee: do you have a reservation.
Me: yes ma’am.
Employee: what’s your name and I need the tag number for your vehicle and camper.
Me: ok
Walked out got the info and walked back in.
Me: here’s the tag numbers ma’am.
Employee: put this paper in your vehicle and this paper in your camper window.

She hands me the passes and that’s it. No have a nice day, good bye, eat crap, nothing. Just some advice from someone who runs a business. Hire people who promote your business and are happy to be there, not some sour pusses that make the first impression bad.
Have a blessed day.

By capthowes |

Nice campground great location if visiting in area. Not really a destination in it's self. Good place to picnic and entertain friends. Close to shopping.

Summertime fun

By Pieces0127 |

Whether going to CB Smith for a picnic or simply to play on the playground, my children & I always have a great time! It's always clean & well kept, offering a variety of activities & the water park is ESPECIALLY fun!!!!

Great park

By lalocadr19 |

Park is great, 1.50 admission . Park has basketball court, workout area, tennis court, golf course, walking trail, RV parking, playground for the kids, pavilion to reserved, plenty of picnic area. water park for the family has additional fee. One of my favorite park in the area.

Excellent park for a family or a couple

By TeriAshby |

I've visited this park quite a lot and must say that I love it. It has everything for everyone. Tennis court, water park, huge play area for kids, golfing etc. It is amazing.

By GusMiami |

We went there because we read that it was great for fishing. But definetely it is not OK for fishing, very dirty lakes, also playgrounds for small children are in very bad shape and dirty. In related to the RV campground I would think it twice since it is open to everyone and close to a crowded area, it makes me wonder how safe it is. OK if you are planning to go with a group of people and bring your own "source" of fun. Maybe for a picnic or just playing in the field.

C.B. Smith Park

By Kevin M |

Picnicked their with the wife and child, much nicer than the Miami dump called Grapeland waterpark (which is more rundown as time goes on). Children oriented so no thrill rides if you're looking for 1.

Very Surprised!

By Susan C |

Quiet.Close to everything.15 minutes to the beach.Lots of places to fish.Shade.I was kind of nervous about hearing of a waterpark but the campground is not near the waterpark so there is no noise from it.The campground is separate from the rest of the park. We made reservations to go back in January for a week before we left. We stayed 7 nights. The only complaint I have is no pool! But loved the park anyways!

Walking

By Reen |

My family and I visited CB Smith Park earlier today to walk the park. It was raining quite a bit today and finally the sun came out. We usually go to the water park or have a picnic, but we chose to walk. We will be back next week. I’m not a nature person at all, so I really have to watch myself with the iguanas. They scare me, but they don’t bother anyone.Lol!!! But besides that, I love the park.

Paradise Cove Waterpark Great for a Kid's Birthday

By Eric_Watters |

We had a birthday party for my daughter there today. We rented a Funbrella, which is a large umbrella structure with four picnic tables under it, for around $75. Definitely needed that shade today. We were able to bring in food and stuff for the party, no glass as usual at a public pool, but no balloons allowed for some reason. There is a small kids, I'd call it a toddler area, and young kids area with a couple of small and slow watersides for little ones, another area with four adult-type watersides and a last river. The place was packed today on a hot South Florida day, but it wasn't overwhelmed by the number of people.

I saw someone else complain about having to pay $1.50 per person in your car for parking. It's not a parking fee but a park entry fee that most, if not all, Broward County parks charge for admission into the park. There is an additional fee for entry into the watermark, $9.50 per person. They knew we were having a party and we filled out paperwork with a list of attendees whose admission we pre-paid as our guests. However, if you do this make sure your guests know to be very clear about the fact that they are there for your party and that their admission was pre-paid. The signage at the ticketing area doesn't direct people to a specific window for party guests and the staff at each ticket window didn't seem to have a copy of the list; at least two of our guests accidentally paid for admission. The water park does have a strict "no refund policy." They will try to give you a rain check rathe than a refund event though they should be better prepared to deal with pre-paid guests since they allow the practice.

Great Park (review for waterpark)

By AidanPlayz |

Was visiting with my family for my brother's birthday party. It started to rain, so we took shelter under the very large umbrellas. Overall, this place is amazing. It has 4 big waterslides. Would Recommend!!!

It's Local, It's Impressive and It's Responsible

By Cory Cruzy C |

Applause goes to Broward County Parks, the staff of C.B. Smith Park and all involved in making this place so diverse in the activities available. This park is known for so much it's hard to say if it's best known for the famous "Chili Cook Off" or for its water park.

When I was a kid (years and years ago) I remember always having a great time at the water park here, well....if I was a kid now I'd be ecstatic. You have to see this place, if you live here and haven't gone....why? If your traveling here then definitely make this a priority. The water park has been upgraded and is quite large. I'm not comparing it to a Blizzard Beach, but you will see it's a scaled down version (much scaled down...still plenty of room though) of the mega water parks. They take the operation of this facility very seriously and insure the safety of it's guests. Lifeguards are rotated (I believe every 30 minutes or less) probably to keep focused on the their job. The water areas will (and have) been closed when the unfortunate "accident" happens from a little kid (fecal matter). They work very hard to get the area open asap after an incident like that...could be seen as inconvienient, I see it as responsible.

Apart from the water park, there is bike riding, boat rentals, driving ranges, picnic and camping areas (too much too list). Go check out the web page and make sure you make a trip here.

Park is beautiful

By 609PatStevens |

Has a full blown water park for kids. 2 large slides and 2 smaller slide parks for kids, & a lazy water pool. It also has many pavilion's & bar-b-que everywhere. Bike paths, mini put-put, driving range, mini-air plane flight areas, and baseball batting cages.

Great way to cool off the day

By Vincent S |

A wide variety of slides and water features for all ages. The staff are helpful and the lifeguards are well trained and attentive.

Great way to cool down & have fun.

By Stacey C |

Heads-up...you can bring your own coolers & food...way to keep cost down😄 They also rent out umbrellas for parties. Summer time fun:get a season pass...you'll save $.

Great Summer Park

By IceRose21 |

Love this park, especially when they have special events. This park is perfect for the whole family. If you get a chance, visit the water park! It's a fun place for the kids.

Great Water Park

By noelizgonzalez |

This is a great local water park for family and kids. I myself have a blast with my son coming here on sunny days. For the price you pay, you have a blast all day! This is my summer time spot.

Pretty park!

By Kathy H |

Great value for the visit. We had a great time! Clean and well kept, plenty of empty trash cans so you know they were keeping up with it. We didn't do the water park but that seemed to be a good deal too.

Camping, Water Park, and More!

By statesmen23 |

We enjoyed camping very much. Clean facilities that were well maintained. The water park was closed for the season. That gives us a reason to go back for some summer fun! They also have a driving range for the golfers. It is a hidden hideaway, in an urban setting.

Great Campground

By Tim5055 |

Having lived in the area before I knew CB Smith Park campground was here, but never knew how good it was. The park is very active, especially on weekends with activities like a water park, golf driving range, water skiing and numerous pavilions for cookouts. The park even has a concert area with shows during the year. The campground is an oasis in the park, set aside and surrounded by lakes. Sites are large, not like a commercial, campground. Each site has water, electric & sewer as well as well placed bath houses. Recycling and trash are collected at each bath house. Important to us is that it is dog friendly as long as you follow the normal common sense rules. The campground is kid friendly with bike paths, a fishing pier and plenty of room to just be kids. Being surrounded by water, most sites have a water view and a very relaxing feel. Being surrounded by the city, you can hear traffic at times, but nothing you wouldn't expect being this close in. Book early, but remember to check for ongoing activities as some park events can overwhelm the place and intrude on your vacation (like the annual Chili cook off).

Paradise Cove Water Park

By Muneca517 |

A++++ for young families; inexpensive entry, free parking and clean, safe water fun! Lifeguard staff was friendly and professional. Definitely going back.

Great place to have fun

By vtc2017 |

From the tennis, basketball and racketball courts to golf court to water park and water sports to picnic shelters and annual chilly cookout concerts and for campers lovers an RV parking, this park is the place to be. Just $1,50 per person entrance during weekend and holidays.

RV Campground

By KS Nair |

Very Nice RV camp site in south FL for the price.
Disappointed to know they are raising the price for Tri-County residents from $30 per-day to $40 per-day winter season starting 2016.
Park is centrally located, close to grocery, restaurants and shopping. Park Staff are friendly.
Sites are paved and mostly back in. Equipped with Picnic table/bench on each site.
Used their Racquetball court, its in need of cleaning. Bathhouse are very clean. Laundry is stocked with coin operated machines, fairly cheap. The laundry room and its machines are in need of cleaning. Wifi is excellent for browsing and emails. Odd sewer connection location( upfront), requires extension connection hose. Very nice park for walking, cycling.
Will surely stay here again, except winter. Stayed here on Motorhome for couple of months.

WE go every year

By SUSANA E |

Wonderful clean place for family. our church rents a pavilion every year. For golfers, swimmers, lots of fun.

By Vivian B |

Geez, I went to this park for one thing only, CHILI COOK OFF, I had a great time, they had a water park? I didn't know that, I gotta check it out again.

If lightning kills you outside the park, it´s not our responsibility

By tom_brd |

Paradise Cove Water Park:

We enjoyed the waterpark with the family.

The park has several attractions for smaller and larger children and the
entrance of USD 9.50/person is OK; also the locker fee of USD1 is abvolutely reasonable.

As the sun was burning, we wish there would have been some places in the shade without having to renting the huge umbrellas.
We spent a couple of hours full of fun - until a lightning came up in the afternoon and the alarm sirene went on:

In my opinion, the park is not prepared at all for this kind of situation: it was raining heavily with lightning - and the lifeguards made visitors to leave the park immediately.
An enormous flow of people trying to leave through a very small exit gate,
" Get out of the park, people - if the lightning kills you outside, at least it´s not our responsibility." would perfectly match the behavior of the staff that we experienced.

There should be a decent shelter with the possibility to get changed when bad weather comes up - but not treating visitors like a herd of cattle when rain comes up.

Excellent park - poor service = average in total.

Enjoyable Local Park

By mrsr1n1 |

Park is large and has a number of things to do. I enjoy running in the morning through the park, we go and hit golf ball at the range, play at the children's playground, attend company picnics and have gone to the waterpark. Entrance to the park is free during the week and $1.50 on weekends. The park can sometimes be a little dirty, but the restrooms are always clean (well as clean as they can be).

We recently went to the water park, first visit since the renovation. We went during the week and knew that local day camps would be enjoying a day there as well. While the parking lot was packed, we were able to find plenty of seats and lounges. The new slides were awesome - lines get a little long at times, but it was never terribly long. The lazy river would get so packed, that it was almost comical to see the floats all bunched together. We ended up spending almost all day there. We had food from the snack bar (slow, but polite service), even though they allow coolers in the park. Food was reasonably priced and not bad at all. They had plenty of tables with umbrellas available for rent all day long. We saw plenty of sheriffs in the park as well as there has been a really bad problem of cars getting broken into while you are off doing something (this is county-wide at all parks). Admission is a few dollars lower after 3 and plenty of people come in after the day camps leave. I saw that they don't offer refunds, but give you rain checks based on how long you have been at the water park.

The park itself could definitely use a little TLC - but I enjoy my visits there.

Mini golf is fun

By Mr_Review |

Plenty to do at CB Smith Park. There is mini-golf, batting cages, a golf driving range, a kids small water park.

C.B. Smith Park

By 387indy |

Its a 299 acre park that holds some great events, the Chile Cook Off. They have a Water park, an RV campground, a Tennis complex, nine batting cages. They also have walking path, birds, small animals, facilities, two 18 hole put-put courses. They have drinks and food, A two level driving range.

Awful parking.

By Jazmin R |

Chili cook off concert parking was terrible. Not sure if this park really only has one exit and entrance or it's just that unorganized. No one will let me leave until two pm and it is literally 4 am. Extremely unorganized and unethical to keep someone closed in when the park has at least two exits. I will keep writing bad reviews on every site until this is fixed because the chili cook off has been going on for way too long for these issues to be happening, and cb Smith park should be doing something about it. And the cops And pembroke pines police department (that told me they know this is a huge issue) also should play a role in making sure there is another cop at another open exit to ensure things run smoothly.

Water Park Family Fun

By Klutzie |

This water park is GREAT!!!! I am shocked that I have not been here after living in South Florida for 5 years my 4 year old son loved it!!!! They have a toddler area with water slides as well as an older kids play area and also 4 big water slides for older children/adults. The park also allows you to take in coolers so we packed a lunch and ate at the park. If you have not gone to this park it is a must! My so is already asking when we are going back. It's a great family event my husband also agreed that he had a great time and that the bigger water slides were fun.

Fun Day

By Macl32 |

Nice place to spend the day. Also, to plan a picnic or celebrate a party. Kids love it. Don't forget to bring your food and beverage.

Great time. Went for photshoot

By Amclymon |

This is a great park in Pembrooke pines it has a lot of options like a waterpark and RV section and many cabana to rent it's clean and quiet and fairly cheap to get in and rent a cabana huge park with a lot of wildlife and lake

Nice paved trails around the lake

By John R |

Beautiful park. Nice paved trails around the lake, about 1.5 to 1.75 miles around depending on the route you take. Both fishing piers are currently closed as they need some work done on them. Lots of places to park and picnic. Playgrounds available, tennis, pickle ball, volleyball courts around the park. There are a few different species of birds and some squirrels in the area.

The water park is currently closed.

The weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $3/vehicle (for 8 or fewer persons) and $20/vehicle (for 9 or more persons) will be in effect. It is currently free during the week.

GREAT CAMPGROUND LOCATION for Campers or RV 's

By Hialeah73 |

Newly renovated campground area. Concrete pads for your campers hook ups for water, sewer and electric. MUST HAVE RESERVATIONS I am told. I had them but was told they hardly ever have vacancies. Large Laundry room area. Very nice & Clean.
Very pretty area lots of room to bike or walk. Across the street is a large regional hospital and Pembroke Lakes Mall. Also, many restaurants near by.

Great Waterpark

By Jasmina E |

We love to go to CB smith during the summer for its Waterpark. The Waterpark is great for all ages. The little little ones get to enjoy the baby water area, the younger ones 7-10 get to enjoys the lagoon area, the older more brave swimmer get to enjoy the super speed slides and everyone get to enjoy the lazy river. Has a great food cafeteria as well. Definitely a great place to enjoy a hot summer day.

One my favorite park in Broward county!!!

By lalocadr19 |

this park is great for walking it has a huge water park for the family and kids...

Children's Party Place

By Bunny S |

A very nice open place for a child's party. Plenty of grass to run in and trees to climb and shady, too.Clean restrooms. Tables and benches for adults and Bar B Ques to cook on.

By RAMONA052 |

We had a wonderful fun filled day and everyone found thing to do to entertain themselves and family.

Expensive

By Ann-Marie S |

While the park is nice and offers a lot. I’m only here for the campground and it’s extremely high. $30 a night off season and in season it’s $40 a night plus you can only have 1 car. But you can have 2 kids and 2 dogs stay at no extra charge. I think they over charge a little.
I understand if we got in free to the water park along with everything else we have to pay for but we don’t unfortunately. Per extra vehicle/trailer ( under 15 ft) it’s $2 dollars a night and that adds up quick.

The only thing that makes me mad about the hole park is it’s not separate by a gate so others can just drive around when ever they decide to throughout the day or night. Drivers speeds in the area already cause it’s one way.

And sometimes you have to watch for the park employees they will fly one the little park gators and trucks ( they do drive on the walking and bike path in the campground)

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the over pricing it very hard to get in here and stay. They have you jumping around lots a lot and in order to accommodate so called your stay. The moving get old quick. Packing up everything and unpacking.

Park is missing something

By BiggestPhilliesFan |

We live near C.B. Smith Park. I have been to parks around the world that have attractions, boat rides, lot of flowers and birds. Those parks give you lots of memories. This is a very bland and boring park.
There is nothing at this park that makes you feel "great to be here". It isn't even fun to walk around because everywhere you walk looks just like where you started.

Brunamir

By Brubru |

Great place for family and friends. A lot of ammenities. Very clean and secure. You can do a cook out or bring your own. Its a beautiful place

Wonderful park with lots of options

By paddler4x |

If you like to hike, jog, bike, or walk then you have two options - ride the permiter road within the park or stay on the paved path off the road. There are plenty of tennis courts, racquet ball / hand ball courts, golf / driving range, water park (seasonal), water skiing (seasonal), canoes, picnic areas, basketball, playgrounds, fishing, vollyball, and plenty of areas to lay out a blanket to just stretch out and relax. If you need to use a rest room, there are plenty of those as well. If you have a camper, then you will be happy to know there is a seperate area for you as well including limited sites for car camping.

On occasion, there are also special events like private concerts sponsored by local radio stations that you must pay to get admittance to the park for, but if you choose to attend, you will not be disappointed as there are always serveral major recording artists you will easily recognize from the liistening to the radio.

Like most if not all other Broward County Parks, this one is free during the week, on the weekend you need to pay a small entrance fee, which I have no complaints about, the county needs income to keep the parks open and provides jobs to service it for residents and guests a like.

The only reason I do not give this park an excellent rating is that it is flat - okay folks I know it is South Florida, but I really enjoy taking hikes and riding my bike on terrain that offers more variety, but a rating of very good is not bad.

By 835natalied |

Great place to have picnics, ride bike, have family reunions. Inside park is a water park at a nominal fee. Great outdoor space.

Surprisingly nice campground in the city.

By almann2000 |

Friendly, helpful staff. Some sites are a little weird in how they are packed together. Quiet for being so close to main roads. Convenient to shopping of every kind - would definitely return.
Didn't do Waterpark.
Getting in on weekends is a hassle with all the Waterpark traffic

Beautiful Campground

By TripleVenti |

I spent a terrible month at another local campground (Hollywood KOA) where I was told that I was lucky to have a site, that South Florida is prime real estate, and that the fact that my car couldn't be on my site was normal for Soutth Florida. Well guess what: I went to C.B. Smith County Park Campground and was pleasantly surprised!! The sites are wide and spacious, and the price is half of the local KOA, with far more amenities such as fishing, water skiing, a lake, a water park (extra $, but that's ok), and just an overall relaxing wonderful experience! I have plenty of room to walk my dog, and beautiful roads to ride my bike. I definitely will come back and do recommend C.B. Smith Campground in Broward County (non-residents welcome for slightly higher fee, but still half the price of the KOA).

The greatest park in Southeast Florida!!!!

By Sanibelbev |

CB Smith Park has everything including the annual Chili Cookoff which brings big name country stars to the venue. Every outdoor activity (except skiing) can be found there. A wonderful place to visit. Broward County got it right when they opened this park.

So much to do

By zachpecarina |

This park is huge!! There are so many places to play and do just about whatever activity you (or the kids) want. Playgrounds, sports fields, water sports, and the incredible water park. It's usually busy but there's plenty of room for everybody

Good family park!

By yumuri806 |

Great fun for the children, good well kept areas, very nice for a family to spend an hour, an afternoon or a whole day, close to everything.

Fun in the Sun and waves

By Frank B |

When the kids need to cool off, we head to CB Smith. From the water slide to the pool we have fun playing and splashing. Fair price. Good clean fun!

Long Weekend Outing

By Alejandro V |

After much needed rains here in South Florida Memorial Day was an amazing day, not just for its significance but also because it didn’t rain. It gave me the opportunity to go out and photograph this wonderful park. I was originally looking for snakes but nature has a mind of its own. Instead I was able to photograph closeups of many animals including turtles, helmeted lizards, blue jays, woodpeckers, ducks, Egyptian geese, and ibis to name some. I was very pleased with the results and if I have some time I will post some pictures.

Great for visits in Miami

By L L |

Great place to stay for the Miami Open! Have stayed here during the tournament. It is about a 20 minute drive to the Hard Rock from here. Have clean, private sites that are easy to access and have hook-ups that are easy to reach. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Many amenities nearby. Highly recommend!

So many fun things to do!

By Tia D |

This is our second visit and there are still so many things we can't wait to do - of course their is their awesome water park with huge slides and a lazy river, but they also have tennis, golf, squash, pickle ball, a great fitness facility and great picnic pavilions. It is beautiful and fun!!!!

By twm53 |

For whatever reason, there are far fewer minigolf courses in this area compared with the west coast of fl. Thankfully, CB Smith park has a nice layout and been recently renovated. It was a bit worn but with all new surfaces, it's a pleasure. Offers enough challenge for adults while not too hard for kids. All 36 holes have new surfaces and it looks like they are putting in some new plants. My wife and I enjoy going about once a month for a bit of easy going competitive fun.

Watch for Raccoons

By Rodney B |

My wife and I go to play mini golf and always have a great time. They have 2 courses but watch for the raccoons. i often go at night and you can often see 3 raccoons running across the holes.

Lovely with a family

By Trinimom1 |

Nice place to send some time with the kids...they will enjoy. Even young wannabe golfers!! Lots of see and do...relaxing.

Great Family Camground

By FL_FamilyCampers |

We have stayed here now a few times for various reasons. We have family in the area, alsop just a great fun family camping time. IN the winter lots of families', campfires, there is a dock over the lake that can be fished right from the campground. There is ski rentals on the lake, several playgrounds on the property, great hiking paths and biking. This is a huge park with boat rentals, tennis courts, and the best part is the water park. There is a kiddie splash park area, and areas for bigger kids, water slides and a small lazy river. There is so much to do here, no matter what time of year you come. Also it is very close to stores and shops if and when needed.

Full hookup campground, concrete pad and picnic tables, bath houses, and sites spaced out enough where its an easy pull in (not on top of each other)..
Great for dogs, as there is plenty of walking areas too.

NO POOL

By Karen N |

Nice place to go for a few hours. BUT you cat swim there, theres no pool. They do allow you to take your own food and drinks! It isn't very expensive, and the lazy river is pretty sweet, but congested always!

Ya gotta have Park

By Cybdiver1 |

large park, nice for gatherings like family reunions. Nice Road around the park for jogging and biking. Lots of trees very important to have trees. Don't expect privacy, most spaces are wide open. You can rent a bike when available. Please don't speed through the park be very careful of children crossing.

Birthday Party

By YVONNE S |

Great place to have a BBQ party. Plenty of space between shelters, lake close by, water park is very nice. prices are very reasonable. But you must do your reservation ahead of time.

Water, water everywhere

By Pineaway |

This park is the site of the Great Chili Cook Off and is jammed. Swimming, music, good food. Not to miss. However, the water park is open most of the year with fun water slides, lazy river, and a kiddie's section. Pavilions for parties, open areas for tossing a ball. And the price can't be beat.

Something for everyone

By itsmisc |

This is a county park at the corner of one of the busiest intersections in the United States - yet it is an oasis with trails, swimming, tennis, a campground, etc., and just a nature lover's paradise.

Fun Park

By Byfelici |

Our group had a wonderful time at this park. We had lots of fun. The 8 year old we were with loved going down the slides and playing in the other attractions as well. The place was very clean and the life guards in duty were really nice. I would recommend this place for a child's birthday party. There were a couple of them going on while we were there.

RV Park next to a water park

By Biff Simpson |

We stayed here as a launching point to see Miami. Note that the campground and day park are at 900 N Flamingo and you have to drive past the special events field and the concert green (both on your right before entering the campground. Lots of manicured space between sites and a number of sites with water views. There are a couple gators, but they kept to themselves. Full hookups and a laundromat with many machines. A definite place to go!

Family gathering

By MARCIA N |

CB Smith Park is one f the nicest family parks in Broward County.
If you ever want to have a family gathering or company picnic, go to CB Smith.
You can BBQ, play volleyball, fishing, camping, play tennis, basketball, ride your bikes or just go chill by the lake.
The park even have a beautiful waterpark for kids and grownups. Just love it!!

Something for everybody

By lotharjuern |

Quiet a big park with all types of sports like batting cages, driving range, tennis courts as well as shelters of all shapes and sizes. Aquatic park and lots of ways to walk or run.

Park for All Ages

By Mobile152137 |

This is the best park by far near my place.

Its basically all the things that you need in a park is all here.

They have water parks that thrills the kids and even adults, cabanas or umbrellas for rent, wake boarding, spacious gazebos for special occasions, relaxing greens all over, jogging paths, lagoons or lakes, picnic tables and grills, wide grounds for camping and a very reasonable parking fee.

This is heaven for me! Very relaxing place to be with nature.

"One of the Best Parks for Fun"

By rbentepp62003 |

C.B. Smith is a great park. There are a lot of things to do with the family. Great adventures will make your visit here very fun and enjoyable.

amazing park!!

By lalocadr19 |

This park has it all your paid $1.50 entrance fee, water parks has additional fee, volleyball nets near pavilions, playground, workout area, lake, barbecue to used near the pavilion, tennis courts, hand ball court, golf practice area, baseball area. Parks has paved sidewalk to walk, run or ride bikes. Park also has Rv parking.

C. B. SMITH

By Julio Q |

C.B. Smith has a wide variety of things to do for people of diverse ages and interests, but the entrance price is inexpensive.

The following are some of the available experiences: basketball, batting cages, campgrounds and more.

It has one of the, if not the best set of water slides, outside an actual water park and even a lazy river. It has smaller, kiddie slides, surrounded by picnic tables, covered by large umbrellas (for reservation/rent).

It has a large, golf driving range, and even miniature golf.

Numerous tennis courts.

The park is near I-75, which is a major highway, a large mall with a movie theater, and several shopping centers with a great selection of eateries.

Fun Park for the family

By Kevin H |

CB Smith park has plenty of Pavilions, golfing, and a water park. So everyone can find their niche for fun in the sun.

A wonderful neighborhood treasure

By DoctorRebecca |

CB Smith Park offers fun for all ages. I usually go there for a quiet picnic and an leisurely walk along the trails. I've been there for a wedding and to play miniature golf. It's always nice to see families there and watch people play volleyball. The park was heavily hit this hurricane season and the place is slowly recovering. It's one of the best green spaces in Pembroke Pines.

Stayed in the RV park section of this beautiful park

By naysmitj1 |

This park is centrally located in the Ft Lauderdale area and provides an oasis of nature for the small RV park located right within the bounds of the park. The paved sites are great with lots of space and a cement patio. The park is very clean and feels like a rural area considering you really are in an urban environment.

Great way to spend a day

By Judy stashower |

Family fun for everyone. Great park and fun miniature golf course. Good concerts too just something to do,for every age

Campground

By Pat H |

Campground is clean, sites are level. Nice view of lake if sites starting from 61. Safe environment. Access to entire park. Good walking and biking. Nice space for dogs. Great access to restaurants, shopping, movies, hospital.

Very relaxing

By Brenda M |

This is an excellent park however as a person afraid of dogs it's not so great. It doesn't take away from the parks beauty though. I used to go walk for exercise but when I spotted an unleashed dog I stopped going. It is vast enough to be isolated if you want to be but quaint enough to meet new people.

Great park to have fun

By Ysayus |

Great local water park, this park is really cheap and very good for parties. My daughter had 3 birthdays in this place and she loved it.

Campground

By Susan C |

We have stayed at this Campground this would have been I believe our third time and each time we go it is run down a little bit more it's still a beautiful place but it's not as nice as it used to be. This last time we left early because there was a power outage in half of the campground. Power was out for about 8 hours. Security Personnel could not tell us anything. It was the power companies issue nobody seemed too concerned about it. We left and went to another campground because we have dogs that cannot be in the heat. It was already 85° at 8 or 9 in the morning. So we left and went to a different Park they were nice enough and transferred our remaining credits towards the other park because they're both County parks. But honestly we will probably not go back.

I love this park and water park

By Mich M |

Nice clean affordable place to spend the day. Our kids love the waterpark. The lake is great also plenty to do as well as the typical park that is CB Smith.

Nice to walk

By Tanya S |

Its a nice park that you get to stroll in with nice views.

Fantastic Park - Lots of things to do!

By mwooduk |

This is a great park, we just had our company picnic here and it was terrific. The only negative is that it took over 20 minutes to get into the park as there is an entrance fee and on a Saturday at 12 noon it took a long time to get through. The park is huge, dogs are allowed and there is a great water park for which there is an additional fee. The food at our picnic was great too and all the staff at the park office were pleasant. Great place

By WhydahGalley |

Perfect place for small and huge events with friends or family - and has a wonderul water park. Well maintained.

Great place to camp and visit

By Sara G |

Wow, CB Smith park is one of the best county parks I have ever seen. There is a water park, party pavilions galore, camping, water sports, golf, just about everything. It is a nice loop for running too. Great way to spend a day!

Has down graded alot

By Ishootforthegram |

I remember coming here when I was a kid. The park really hasn't grown. Now you have to be weary of people stealing your things there are only four attractions. I think the park needs a make over. I wouldn't recommend this to any travelers.

By Camilo M |

This prak provides a great variety of attractions and places to exercise and have fun with the family. Great for roller skaters.

Oh My Goodness!

By lzk2 |

This park is super special. It is not only a beautifully canopied oasis, it has a water park that can't be beat! Safety? Well, they have so many lifeguards on duty you can rest assured. The only drawback is the lack of sufficient shade in the water park area. Yikes, It gets hard.

Very nice park , looking ahead for another visit

By peterdadio |

We were in the park for four days , was a very nice experience .and we will visit again in the very near future .

great family park

By FAJA |

This is a great park to sped family time. We were there for a Baby shower. Perfect size shelter. Nice and Clean.

The closest thing to a real park

By DelBueno |

Having moved to South Florida from the north I am not impressed by the so-called parks down here which mostly consist of barren parcels with palm trees and other trees. CB Smith is more akin to a park as one would actually picture it with lush vegetation, ponds, and many things to do. It is one of the very few "parks" in South Florida deserving to be called as such.

This Park has Everything

By Mario M |

This is an excellent park for almost any kind of recreation. Great for parties or just a simple picnic. You could have a bar-b-q, go on a nature walk, go bike riding, boating, use the batting cages, play tennis or even toss the frisbee around for a while. They even have a small water park, which provides great family fun. If you want to have a good time with the family, take them to CB Smith Park and have fun.

After school fun

By Jeanne M |

A 4 year old, a soon to be 6 year old and I stopped in after school. We found 2 playgrounds which kept us entertained for about 2 hours because there was a lot of variety. No swings was disappointing but we got over it. The park was very clean and so were the restrooms. It was free too!!

nice park

By tammyv |

Great park for walking. They have a good waterpark for the kids, that many adults enjoy also. BBQ with family is good, with plenty of play areas.

A place to enjoy a large event

By henryjgarcia |

The office staff was excellent, they delivered what was promised correctly, nice view for picture taking, clean bathrooms with safe enviroment, would highly recommend this part to anyone.

By Corina0909 |

Perfect park for the entire family
you can have fun in the water park, mini golf course, hicking, jogging, pedalling a boat or having a birthday party at their many shelters around the park
it is a green oasis were you can cool off from the south florida hot hot summer
prices are ok and the lazy river inside the water park is GREAT

By MJhagroo |

This park is really big. It's actually easy to get lost in it! But if you have friends that go early enough to get a good spot, it is perfect for a day at the park! They even have a water park which I've heard can be really fun (though I haven't quite made it to the water park).

A Great Park!

Awesome place for a Total Family Experience or with Groups or your Company! Fun for Activities, Walks and Just plan fun.

Nice park and ok water park

By MakatiJoe |

Nice park for a picnic and the water park is ok for a lazy summer afternoon. Probably one of the better parks in the area.

By LOL305 |

In the midst of Suburbia . Not worth a trip, but fun if they are hosting an activity such as a concert. There is a small water park. Call to make sure it is open

By Jennifer R |

CB Smith is a great park to visit for everything from hosting a birthday party at one of the pavilions to taking golfing lessons to having some fun at their water park.

Entrance is only $1.50 per person on the weekends.

The water park is about $10 per person unless you go after 3pm and it goes down to about $6.25. It has a lazy river, 4 large water slides, a kiddie pool area, etc. you can also arrange to host birthday parties there in one of their funbrellas.

I've been going to this park for the last 16 years or so (since my kids were little) and it's always been well maintained, staff has been friendly and every year it seems I discover a new activity that they offer either for free or a nominal fee.

Great Suburban Campground

By Donauw |

We came up from the Keys to the area for work needed on our car and to see Johnny Lang in concert. This is a Broward County park in the middle of a busy suburban area. Stayed in the campground 3 nights in a 35' motorhome. Amazingly quiet with spacious full hook up sites. Fairly scenic on a small lake. About a 30 minute drive to downtown Ft. Lauderdale.

Went for Mini Golf at All Golf

By copperfuel |

After reading about the park online, we discovered that they had a miniature golf course along with some batting cages and a driving range at Allgolf. My wife and I always seek out mini golf wherever we go on vacation. The reviews and photos on the company's website looked right up our alley. We arrived at 9:30pm and there were plenty of cars in the lot. However, when we went to counter to pay, we found all the employees standing around acting like they couldn't wait to go home. We paid for a round of mini golf and started our game. The course was very dark, making it difficult to see. At first we could not tell how bad the condition of the course was. As we kept playing, it kept deteriorating. At one hole, the astroturf was so buckled that the ball wouldn't roll. At the next, there were holes in the brick boundaries which allowed your ball to go out of bounds. The hole after that was the final hole we would play. Not only did my ball go out of bounds, but it went into the "river" that wound through the course never to be seen again. We only managed to play 5 holes. When we went back to the counter to tell them that we lost our ball and we were done playing, the girl just acted like it was no big deal and started to hand me a new ball. It was obvious from our expressions that we were disappointed with our experience and when we asked for our money back due to the horrible condition of the course and our inability to play on it, the girl at the counter seemed like she could care less. One of the other girls, who seemed to be some sort of supervisor, but it was hard to tell since she was sitting down barely paying us any attention, finally said that we could have a refund since it became clear we were not going to leave without one. Obviously, the driving range was the only thing that mattered at Allgolf.

By alea7899 |

It can get very crowded on the weekends and holidays.

great cookout at pavilion

By LAmaze214 |

we rented pavilion 10 a few weeks ago for a cookout. it offered nice shade, so if you're looking for that #10 is great. the dual grills are awesome and the exhaust really v helps with the smoke. I went to pick up my deposit at the end but they were closed, though people were inside. they were nice enough to open up as I am an out if town traveler and would not be able to return to get it. it was obvious they weren't thrilled about it, but bottom line, I got my 50 cash deposit back. thanks. the bbq went great and it was a great choice to have it there.

By Corina0909 |

We are lucky to live nearby, so we spend many afternoons at the water park.
If you go after 3pm its not expensive and you can have fun with the entire family, from the lazy river to the big water slides.
Also the park have nice shelters to host a party or a simple BBQ

By MissMiami |

I went years ago on a picnic and i loved the facility. I also went for a birthday party and the grounds were nice. I also went to play tennis and the courts were in good shape. Its a cool place

By gwendalyn |

You can bike ride here. Have a picnic with the kids. There is canoeing and a water park with a small lazy river.

Beautiful Park

By Debrahae |

We spent three nights at the parks RV facilities. What a hidden treasure! The park was spotless and surrounded by many activities that anyone would find very enjoyable. The things we have seen are tennis, water park and many areas available for picnics. We were here to help family so didn't partake in any of the parks many features except for the RV area, but we were pleasantly surprised by this well maintained park and their very friendly and helpful office staff!

The best park around!! Soooo many memories

By Vanina B |

We been visiting this park for years... it has everything for everyone. Boat, canoe, paddleboat, party bungalow rental, big and small, waterski, tennis, tennis classes, walking and bike trails. During the summer they have a huge splash center that has been upgraded and re-modeled. and sooo much more...
Bathrooms are clean and re-modeled... but not air-conditioned....

It's OK

By Turdpolisher |

With Markham Park just up the road some it is hard for CB Smith to compete I guess. Went to the driving range once but was not impressed, taken the kids there a couple of times and rented bikes etc, it was fun but nothing different. Nothing wrong with the place and the Chili Cook Offs are legendary (a must do) but other parks in the area offer so much more it’s hard to recommend this one.

A park for casual stroller and waterpark activities

By BC0313 |

The park has a waterpark and gold range and plenty of open space to relax. Picnic areas are free and cabanas to rent for larger parties. A staple in the Pembroke Pines area that houses major events and families just as easy.

Nice park for parties!

By Areallyniceguy |

Fun park with great amenities. There are terrific party locations open for volly ball hiking, barbque pits and overhangs. The water slide features makes kids of adults and fun for everybody. Nice tennis courts and small lakes for rowing and canoeing. Adjacent is miniature golf, batting cages, and golf driving range. Great old park

Great for parties or picnics

By Jaydog72 |

Large areas with grills and some pavilions have volleyball courts and lakes. The park is super clean and the staff is very friendly. If you need a bounce house or any other party rental items they have preferred vendors you must use and they were quite reasonable.

Water Mark Kids Must!

By Christina P |

If you are looking for somewhere to cool off when the temperature hits 90, this is the place for you. Complete with a huge bucket that dumps gallons of water on you, relax in the shallow walk-in side of the main area, or hang out in the deeper end with the water guns and slides. The slides are not for the faint of heart, as I went on all of them and they run from slow to medium to hold onto your suit! The food is decent but you can also bring your own buffet! Get there early for a good eating area. The only downfall is there is absolutely limited to no shade unless you grab a table under an umbrella or rent out a pavilion. They also have a dog day every year at the water park which the puppers love! You can also walk the trails and there is an actual dog park on the premises. CB smith is a huge park with lots to do.

very nice park

By YANET M |

This park is big and convenient, they have nice spots for parties, a nice mini golf area and many sports fields, they also have a really nice water park that the kids really enjoy. The only bad thing is that they close the water park for any little reason and throw everyone out.

Waterpark was a bargain

By KatieInContinuance |

This review is about the waterpark within CB Smith park (called Paradise Cove). The park is open every day in the summer, and only costs just under $10 a person (adults and children alike).

There are two kiddie areas with spray guns, mini-slides, and dump buckets. Both areas have very shallow water (which varies from ankle-depth to mid-calf-depth). One area is themed around fruit and the other has an ocean theme. Very cute, but the buckets beep very loudly right before they dump to encourage the kids to come running, and the constant beeping is a little obnoxious. The kids, though, were super excited by the alert. You can ride double on some of the kiddie slides, which is great if you have very little ones with you. (We had three kids: 11, 10, and 2). The lifeguards let the 11 and 10 year old kids ride with the two year old AT FIRST, then we were told by their relief lifeguards that the toddler had to go with a grownup only.

All five of the kiddie slides are nearly identical to one another; too big for little ones to go by themselves, but too small to be of much interest for the bigger kids for long.

There is also a lovely lazy river with a lot of interactable objects around it. There are some bombs that kids will operate that force airbubbles up from the ground, squirters and sprayers in another section, and a bridge that may or may not suddenly begin pouring water onto unsuspecting floaters. You have to be in a tube (no free-floating). You can ride double in a tube with your little one.

Finally, there are two large slides that entertained my older kids all day long. They are really great, smooth slides, and both are very different from one another. One is fast and rocks you around a lot. The other is slower but has a bigger drop. The wait for these was reasonable even at the busiest part of the day.

There are tons of benches, chairs, and loungers scattered around the park. Some shaded, some in the sun, but plenty of room for everyone who was there with us. There are even some grassy areas if you prefer to set up your towel like you're at the beach. They even have covered picnic areas available for rent; these areas aren't very private, but instead are centrally located to all the attractions.

There is a grill and some satellite food stations around. We chose not to eat at the park when we saw a big, homemade sign that read "NO REFUNDS" on one of the satellite stations. That scared us away. How many people are getting their food then wanting their money back to justify making a sign?! There are also lockers available for rent and huge restrooms with showers. The restrooms and grounds in general weren't the cleanest, but they certainly weren't gross. The water and wet areas were clean.

We found the park to be a lot of fun, especially considering how inexpensive it was. Great way to spend a hot summer day in Florida. And they even have a refund policy in case it rains as is so common here in the summer. Bottom line? If you are in the area, it's a cheap and easy day, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here unless I was inland visiting family or if I lived in the area. Since we do live in the area, though, we'll definitely be back.

Nice Place for spend the day

By maria497 |

Bring a lot of water and $$ for buy icecreams. The kids have a lot of fun and make new friends. The only thing about this place, its really hard to find shade, specially in Summer when is crowded.

Good big park

By tussle |

I have only been to a birthday party at one of the pavilions. The park seems well organized and clean. I like the little lemonade stands and the cycles you can rent to get around. If I had to choose between Markham Park which is further North and this one, I would definitely go with CB Smith just from the quick look of things.

Kids had a Blast

By BigManinHomestead |

We had our daughter's birthday party here. What fun!!! Everyone got to do what they wanted. From an easy ride on an inner tube to exciting water slides. My own kids range from 4-11. They each found plenty of adventure. It was awesome to see their confidence build throughout the day. All water slides are built for adults to enjoy with their kids regardless of age. I highly recommend.

Not bad for a local park!!

Great park in Pembroke Pines

By Sunshine Trekker |

There is quite a lot to do at this park which pretty much sits in the middle of the city Pembroke Pines. The park is centrally located on Pines Blvd.

If you are visiting the park with your children the Paradise Cove Water Park is not to be missed. There is a lazy river, two separate water play areas, one for toddlers and one for older children, there's also slides. The water park has a concession stand and there are also lockers available. There is a fee to enter the water park and the park usually gets pretty busy especially on weekends. However if you are looking to save some money, if you arrive after 3pm the price of admission is cheaper.

Besides the water park, there are all kinds of activities, from bike riding, which you can rent, there is also golf and batting cages, tennis, fishing, walk/jogging paths, and basket ball. The park also has many picnic tables with bbqs and pavilions that can be rented.

The park also has a concert venue and you will usually find many events and festivals that occur throughout the year.

The park also has a campground for both tent campers and rv's. The campground has a bathhouse and a dumphouse. We tent camped here, the tent sites were basically on a field marked with a post that has a number which you are assigned to. Each site has a grill. However there is not much in the way of privacy. There aren't any trees of brush that separate the sites. This was one of our pet peeves, that and the very early morning exercise classes that you hear next to where the tent camping sites are. Also be aware that the tent sites do not include electricity or water. There is a fee to camp at the park but it's reasonable and if you are a county resident you pay a lower rate.

With all these amenities and the park's relatively central location, it is not to be missed. I would recommend this park to anyone.

Camping in the middle of the city.

By George H |

We have been camping out of our fifth wheel off and on for the past couple months and have been very pleased with the campground. There are only about 90 spaces which allows for space between units so when reserving reserve early spaces go fast.

As expected, lots of crowds at the water park and mini golf area during the hot summer afternoons. Wasnt to bad as far as wait time, basically as expected. Not a huge water park like many national chains but great for Local areas. Reasonable prices, a good amount to do for all ages.

Summer Camp

By Julio P |

My daughter wants to go again next year, only problem is the bathrooms are almost all closed, the ones that are open are nasty.

Beautiful park

By AdjustingOurCompass |

Spent a few nights here for a little water park fun for the kids. The campground was clean and well maintained. The facilities were clean. The dogs enjoyed the walking path around the park every morning. Very nice county park. Was quite a few large iguanas around. Kids thought that was cool.
Lots of playgrounds and things to do. Had a big storm come through that flooded our campsite. The drainage in the area couldn’t keep up, the water was gone after a few hours but we had to go and retrieve our items that floated away. We would return again if in the area.

Mini Golf

By Blum RV Travels |

We had a great time playing mini golf here!! The course options were great!! It looked like a nice park. We did not drive around. We did see the batting cages and driving range.

Great water park!

By MARCELO S |

It's a great place to go with the kids. Lots of things to do and lot's of green. Weekends are very crowded.

Excellent

By Rwcline |

Great camping experience. Nice sites and plenty of property for biking, walking and jogging. Some restrictions due to COVID but driving range and putt putt open for business with masks required. The park is well maintained.

Good park

By belly0621 |

Been going to C.B. Smith park for years, we had our sons baby shower there in one of the pavilions. Lots of options of activities, their water park is really nice. Dog friendly as long as you use a 6ft or shorter leash.

Excellent campground!

By Justatouristlikeyou |

Very quiet place, clean and hook ups worked well. Concrete pad at all RV spots. Easy to maneuver our pull behind in. Restrooms are clean with nice, hot showers. Water park nearby is a blast and worth the $10 entry fee. Get there EARLY for the best experience. Fish in the lakes, playgrounds near the rv area. We will be back!!

good park

By Rey C |

great park for party,s and just to have fun, alot of things to do. and the price is low for the entrance kids have alott of playground and a water park .good for the family

Great park

By Annette B |

We played mini golf but there us also a batting cage if your kids like rounders (UK) or baseball. There is a also a golf course and driving range. A great park to visit.

Fun, Sun, and Shade

By tulip0617 |

Great water park for young ones. There are plenty of areas with shade to protect them from the sun. The slides are long enough for them to have fun but short enough for them not to be afraid to go down. I had my granddaughter who is 3 years old. The bathrooms are also large with room to change.
You can bring your own food in a cooler, but if you need to buy food you can purchase at their grill for a reasonable price unlike other water parks. You can get a combo meal for under $6.00. They sell pizza by the slice or you can purchase a whole pizza. They also have burgers, hot dogs, fries, and ice-cream. We had our own food so I can not tell you whether the food is good or not.

Good times for all

By forgiven19971 |

Visited the park on a church picnic. Plenty of space to spread out from other pavillions. Grounds well kept.

My Fav Park in South Florida

By FoodieWineGirl17 |

These park is so beautiful. It is great for bike rides or walks (leashed) with your dogs and a nice bbq by one of their lakes. They have nice events for the dogs when they close the baby water park down during the winter plus they have the usual paddle rides and golf lessons.

Very nice park in very high traffic area

By J D |

Stayed here for 2 weeks plus. Rates compareable to others in area. Location is convienent to Ft Lauderdale locations. Sites are relatively large with paved areas big enough for unit to sit on, relatively level with full hook ups.Quiet in park unless they have bands or outrageously loud music from the many parties going on during weekends.. and sometimes the nearby soccer field. Was interesting to see iguanas, multiple birds, ducks, and raccoons daily.

Great Summer Fun!

By lisa b |

CB Smith Park has a lot to offer families. It is large with many bike paths, has great playground for the little ones and wide open space. The barbecues are not kept up very well, so plan on brining something to clean them. In addition, the park offers a really fun water park. However, the water park gets very crowded with camps, so go very early or later in the day. The water park is also rather expensive.

Nice and clean

By Elizabeth D |

Very nice park, with plenty parking space, places to make barbeque or book for parties. The water park is really nice and family friendly. The restroom are always clean. A very nice place to enjoy and relax.

Fun Times!

By DanieG21 |

Nothing too flashy, but the overall good wholesome water park is what you'll find here. A great place for the summer for anyone with kids.

Friends and family

By Mariabrown33 |

I love cb smith!!! I have been coming here for years and my sister and I love to relax in the lazy river while the kids play and get tired out. Great place to go for the day. They have the chilli cook off here too. Absolutely loved it.

Inexpensive and exciting water park

By Maya R |

This park has at least 3 areas catering to all ages of kiddies and adults. There are also many life guards on duty to monitor access and movement on water slides. My 1 and 5 year old kids both had a fabulous experience until they had to close due to inclement weather (better safe than sorry). We were there just under 2 hours so we got 'rain checks' (passes to return at a later date). Highly recommended for a fun day with the kids

Great golfing experience

By Oscar H |

Have only used the golf driving range and mini-golf. They're the best around! No need to go elsewhere to have a good golfing experience, either as a pro-wannabe or in family.

By |

This is probably our best local park because of the water activity for the kids. If you're looking for a day trip to get away from the every day beach, you'll like this.

Great picnic areas

By Cindy W |

Beautiful big park. Also has water slides. We enjoyed a picnic in the park with family. Great bike paths.

Relaxing venu

By TripMember04042017 |

This park is good for parties and family gatherings. Very nice camp site. not a lot of activities. great for dog walking.

Nice county park

By yazdragonfly |

Nice park. Has a waterpark too. Good for picnics and parties. You have to rent the cabanas in order to have a party, but some people just find a nice shaded area which is OK too. There is paddle boat and canoes to rent. Nice for an afternoon.

FUN DAY

By keidy m |

I really liked this water park it's small but very nice. I like that you can take your own coolers with drinks and food. The food they sell is pretty good. Teenager loved it n the small children too

Nice for a day with family

By Oscarina561 |

A nice park to spend a day with family. A little noisy and crowded.....too many people at times with loud music. Nice facilities and easy to get to

Kids & Campers

By 387indy |

Large tropical 299 acres, for country music and chili cook off, not for me. But this park has large campground (closed for renovation), picnic shelters. Built for campers, RV's. Has Paradise Cove water park. Still not for me, but for "kids & campers". Well maybe next time I'll bring the grandaughters. Cost $$

water park = much fun

By Kimkimco |

the new slides at paradise cove are a ton of fun. the kids and parents have a ball.
tips: 1. you can bring in your own food. so if you are having a party, bring the drinks, food etc. 2) the snack bar isn't that expensive. food is affordable. they have snow cones !!!. 3) reserve the large blue umbrellas WAY in advance. they cost $75. but the smaller tables w/ umbrellas are on a first come basis daily for only $10 each.
we had our school party here. it was a lot of fun.
the staff there was very helpful and nice

CB Smith Park

By Brunilda C |

Went with friends, couples, played miniature golfing. It was a fun, inexpensive night out. Staff was so friendly.

Huge and fun

By HG305 |

It's a great place to ride bike. Although I wish it had some sort of trails.

By Brenda M |

I grew up going over there for Jamaican concerts. Since then, I've moved right next to the park. I've gone there to walk for exercise. It was very serene and the park offers many activities however I saw a dog walking around without a leash so I stopped going.

Love this park

By Darla M |

It has a lot to offer to which we have used over the years. Mini golf is a blast with raccoons running around at night! Driving range we use quite often is large enough that we never have to wait for a spot, however they could stand to do some maintenance mostly by replacing the rubber tees. Staff is somewhat friendly. They have a water park that started out many years ago with a sandy beach not the way now it's all concrete with water slides and lazy river. Very clean and safe. The park itself is clean as well with good sixpence pavilions for parties and get togethers

Great park for kids

By Felicia Ferreira |

Ive gone for walking, sports and the water park. It is well maintained and cleaned. No compalints in this park for me.

My son's friend birthday

By Ramon De Los Santos |

Big forest Park 10 minutes or less way from our house there's a water park in the property great for kids and the entire family but I'm not to thrilled about it because of the fee charges don't meet my spectections

Great Stay

By duyos |

Great RV Camping with access to park amenities for children. One of the cleanest park to relax and enjoy peace and quite times.

Wonderful Picnic Areas

By andrew a |

If you are planning a group picnic or barbecue, this park has wonderful facilities, sheltered areas, barbecue pits and restrooms nearby. They also have a wonderful water slide park for the kids. Check also for local events, like The Chili Cookoff etc.

Stayed in the campground

By Joyce B |

We visited the area for a high school reunion and stayed in the campground. The site was quite large and well set up. The only down side was that the grass needed mowing and fortunately this was done on the 2nd day of our visit. Would definitely recommend staying there if you are in the area. The biggest draw at the park is the water slide which we did not use.

Best Park in Pembroke Pines

By fabianamellojorn2018 |

Big and clean park, with a lot of nature and shelters. Camping ground also. Beautiful sunset view. Definitely a good place to go if you live nearby.

Great golf range

By JimmyL2putts |

The range offers carpet and grass practice areas. The Monday-night after 6-pm special range balls are great and offer a lot of practice opportunities for serious and novice golfers. The place is packed every Monday night. It's even better if they fill the grass area with more sand when they move the practice area from one section to the next.

This park has EVERYTHING!

By Carolina Explores |

C.B.Smith park has everything you can think of. Seriously! There is so much to do here that you can literally go everyday amd still find something new and exciting to do with the kids. We love the playgrounds, mini golf, pools. You name it!

Great

By Maria F |

Great place to go and enjoy a walk, bike trail or go to the water park. A place to go on your own, with kids, family and friends. They have also rental pavilion to do parties etc.

Difficulty with internet and red necks !

By Claude M G |

Nice park, trees, clean restrooms, not much noise, peacefull. The use of wi-fi works about 5% of the time. We had the pleasure of having rednecks for neighbours. With the television outside, they stayed outside too, drinking, smoking cigars and pot, yelling and using a chainsaw at 10 at night ! We went twice at the desk to complain but with no results. In state park they would have advise them no more than once and after that.....out. But not in a county park. At $ 40.oo a night, next year, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico...............

Great overnight stop for the Keys

By DayTrip790843 |

C.B. Smith Park, part of the Broward County Park system, was a perfect pre- and post-overnight stops to our Key West run (our 208th and 210th stop!). It’s incredibly convenient, located close to I-75, I-95, and the Turnpike. The online reservation/request system was unique but adequate. Check-in was quick with limited staff interaction, though they did call us twice in advance to confirm times and our site number. The park itself, though very urban, was surprisingly quiet in the evening with minimal road or flight noise. Amenities include access to great paved walking trails, a large playground, picnic shelters and a water park (closed for the season during our stay). Just note that it is a happening place on the weekend. Our site was excellent: all interior roads were paved, our pad was paved, and we had a patio with a picnic table and full hookups. Our 38-foot RV and tow car fit easily on the pad. A highly convenient and comfortable stop! Be sure to check with the front desk for your assigned space as it may not match - your reservation information - it did not for either stay for us. Would rate it 4.4 out of 5 and would stay here again. Connectivity (7:30 pm): Verizon 1300 down/110 up (highest speed to date); T-Mobile 849 down/49.6 up; Park WiFi 8.31 down/17 up (not functional during peak times for basic internet); 82 OTA channels

Kiss Country Chili Cook Off!

By 623TerryH |

The park is very large. They have one of the biggest chili cook offs in the country with great Country music stars! The even brings a lot of people and the vendors have great items for sale. The chili cook off has prize money as well as trophies.

Strict "No Refund" Policy! Regardless of park closing due to weather!

By KimPac |

Paradise Cove is a water park inside C.B. Smith Park. Beware of their strictly enforced "No Refund" policy. Which by the way, their "no refund" policy is not posted on their website, nor is it posted at the gate where we had to pay an additional (non-refundable) fee of $1.50 per person in the car, for parking.

If the park closes due to inclement weather conditions, you get a rain-check. They have no exceptions to this policy. We literally paid, walked in and got evacuated within minutes - we never even made it to the water park area. This happened on the last day the park was open for the remainder of the year. So, they offered us a rain check for the following year.

Why did allow us to pay and enter the park minutes before they enforced an evacuation? Their answer: they had no idea they would be closing in a couple of minutes. Right! They refused to give us a refund and that was that!

Many options for a family outing

By Manolo25 |

Golf driving range and miniature golf, water-park, tennis, battling cages, basketball,...etc
Plenty of activities for everyone.

Mini golf is not wheelchair accessible

By Patrick S |

They have two miniature golf courses at All Golf at CB Smith Park. They may tell you that one of the courses is accessible to wheelchairs, but it's really not. Only about four of the holes are truly accessible; six of the holes are in an elevated area that you reach by walking up a flight of steps; and the balance of the holes have accessibility issues like no sidewalks, wheelchairs can't get onto the "green" area to finish out the putts, etc.

We saw the LivingSocial special for a round of golf, then called All Golf several times to confirm that the course was wheelchair accessible (each time they said "Yes") so we purchased the tickets. When we got to the clubhouse, they gave us our putters and pointed us toward the "accessible" course. Once we realized that between the stairs and the other design issues that the course was not wheelchair accessible, we went back to the clubhouse and asked to have a manager come out to the course and ask her about the inaccessibility. After all of that, she said that she would not refund our money.

We were a group of two manual chairs and one power chair. It's really a shame that All Golf or Broward County doesn't take the time and effort to actually have someone use a wheelchair to get around the course before they mislead everyone by saying that the course is wheelchair accessible, when it clearly is not.

Fun Florida Park

By Al H |

$1.50 per person to get in well spent. A lot of green areas and a water park. Grill areas and volleyball in the sand courts.

Go for the golf range and batting cages

By LivingstonAve |

Nicely organized and maintained. Mini golf is weak, but the cook out areas, golf range and batting cages are excellent.

Great Place

By Edgar B |

No weekdays, only weekends for the water park. Cool attractions for every age. I recommend you get there early or call before to make a reservations of a table and seats.
There’s also a couple of attractions for adults.

CB Smith Park Stroll

By JackWabbit7 |

Nice and quiet during weekday. Walked around for exercise and searched for some of the geocaches hidden in this little park.

Great Park!

By Stoyles |

Great park, stay a month every year. Clean, good fishing, well managed and constant drive by's by the security.
Have to give a big kudos to the lawn maintenance team! Keep the grass cut and do a terrific job!

Exellent Waterpark for kids ages 2-13

By ElizaSL |

First visit at CB Park and it was perfect for my boys ages 4 and 7. It was clean and nice in all aspects. The staff (mostly young people) could have been a lot more serviceminded and friendly.

Wonderful park

By Stephen H |

So much to do, good water slides for all ages, food easy to buy and take with you. Golf good fun, but 36 holes may be too many when it's hot.

Small fun water park!!!

By Halbig |

I have 3 boys in the age of 6,8 and 9 and they love to come in summer break to the this water park. This park is not for kids older then 13. It is cheap!!! They have a cafeteria.

We loved our run here!

By kurokitty |

We were in the area today and parked at the park and ran around the perimeter.

We loved seeing the wildlife -- we saw several turtles and even a lizard with a tail nearly as long as the sidewalk!

We will have to investigate this park more in the future!

By gymnastdude25 |

This park has everything. They put on concerts and events. Great for birthday parties or a family sunday.

Great for family or work picnics and parties

By Jaydog72 |

CB Smith park is gorgeous with tons of trees and plenty of fields to play on. Most pavilions include sand volleyball courts and all of them have big fields to play sports on, have a bouncy house or just let the kids run and play. Grills are built into the larger pavilions and the staff is very friendly. Use the parks approved vendors for rentals and you get a decent discount. They also have a great water park there that is currently under renovation, so it should be better in the spring of 2013!

family friendly

By Ximena M |

best time ever, organize and fun, good option for all the age, good location for seating and plenty parking.

"Beautiful park!"

By epuya |

Easy to find, inexpensive ($1.50 per person in your car, kid I think are free), lots of green space, shelters, mature trees. I saw someone paddling their kayak on a lake. In one shelter that I stopped by had a baby shower in progress. There were kids sections, a large group shelter for a big party. Great place to spend a beautiful sunny day in South Florida. There are the shelter if it happens to rain on your parade.

Great Family Place

Tennis courts, golf range, water slide, picnicking areas are just a few of the fun activities here.
Easily accessible in South Broward.

C. B. Smith Park

By 387indy |

In the heart of South Florida, its usually well taken care of, great crew. Lots of parking, family oriented, loads of recreation areas, water park (multiple water slides), batting cages, a golf driving range, tennis center, picnic areas and many, playgrounds, fishing lakes, sprawling campground (71 paved RV sites w/hookups). Best know as home of the KISS Country Cookoff, starts tonight, has the best in country music.

Nice for a bicycle ride

By bklabel |

Watch out for cars while riding on roads especially during dusk. Also remember where you parked your car.

Entrance Fee for a PUBLIC Park?

By MrMiamiExplorer |

We drove by CB Smith Park but were instantly shocked by an admission fee at the gate. Come on! don't our taxes already pay for Broward County Parks and Recreation to maintain this park? I've seen this trend of greed lately at many Broward County PUBLIC Parks. I understand having to pay an extra fee to use the pool area or batting cages, but to pay a fee just to access the local park for kids to run around the grass? SHAME! The batting cages and golf driving range are located outside the main entrance which we did visit briefly. We WILL NOT be returning.

good for families

By Wilbert A |

Great park to go biking and working out. Families always barbecuing and having activities. Great driving range and waterpark for the kids. Close proximity to hwy.

Nice Campground

By BethWallace |

We were on our way to Key West and had heard about Broward County Parks. We chose this one because it had full hook-ups. It was a very nice park. Large with LOTS of space for biking. We wanted to visit South Beach and the National Park, so this wasn't a great location - about an hour away. During the non-winter seasons, there is a LOT to do at this park. They say they have wi-fi, but it would hardly work for us. We have found this at many campgrounds that advertise wifi. Would recommend this park to families.

Company picnic

By undgrad01 |

Really nice park. Nice facility with clean bathrooms. Lots of room. Security was good. Didn't see much more of the park. If we had some event coming up, I would check into this park.

fun fun fun

By kenmcgovern110 |

took my grand daughter here for swim lessons it is the most fun kids can have they even teach adults to swim

Noise, Noise, Noise.

By Clogtowner |

If you are looking to get back to nature - go elsewhere. This place is filled with noise especially on weekends when amplifiers deafen the crowds after charging an entrance fee. Airplanes overflying and noisy watercraft ruin it for those seeking solitude.

2016 Chili Cookoff = WHITE TRASH at its finest

By Stacie B |

Parking was a serious joke, nothing was controlled. Parking lots smelled like urine. Trash everywhere. And, it gets better! This event required you to purchase water. Seriously, your depriving people of water to purchase. This event was by far the biggest JOKE I have ever attended!!! The promoters/sponsors should be ashamed of themselves. Give it up for 2017.

By Xatlatc |

This park is well worth the $43.00 to park the motorhome overnight or even longer. Paved level sites with full hookups, laundry facilities and great level walking and biking paths. The snowbirds fill the park for good reason. Plan early and make reservations. Verizon coverage 4 dots on LTE. My small HD antenna picked up over 40 channels. Not much privacy. Very clean park.

By Trip19151 |

For the low entrance fee, it's quite a bargain. There are slides/play area specifically for small children, a larger slide/play area for children of all ages (even adults), and then there are two much larger slides as seen in big water parks. Not to mention the lagoon where you can float around the park area in an inner tube (provided free). This is a great way to spend a hot south florida summer day. My kids are exhausted at the end of a day here. Great park.

By KnowsGoodFood18 |

The campground is nice. Lots of leaves on ground which makes it slippery for kids. Very quiet which isnice also close to everything. The water park is just okay. Lifeguards were a little rude. Only 4 things to do. Not a lot if signs posted about the rules for the playgrounds. Csnt go down slide with kids on one. Cant go by yourself but only one at a time. Wonr be going there again. Waste of 10 bucks. Stayed 15 mins before i left. Makes me a not so happy camper.

CB Smith Campground

By Gia H |

Stayed at the CB Smith Park Campground. Beautiful lake views if you can get a site on the lake. Lots of trees and lots of birds to listen to in the morning. No fire pits in rv sites, only in separate tent area. Bbq grill and picnic table at each rv site. Lots of pull-through paved sites for rvs. Electric, sewer and water hook up at each rv site. Laundry facilities. Great huge park for bike riding. Rentals across the lake for sking. There is concerts sometimes across the lake on the lawn. You can hear music at campground. CB Smith is easy access to I75 and convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants. Seems like a safe area although I didn't like that anyone can come into the park at anytime of the night as nobody at the gate at night. There is rangers that patrol a lot though at night. I really liked the park and campground except for no security gate at night and often hearing ambulance sirens from campground due to hospital across the street from the park.

Great park for everyone

By Luis G |

This park is good for everyone you can ride bike has a big water park canoe pick nick tennis is beautiful. If you have a camper they do have a camping park as well. Great park in the center of the city

Hidden gem for RV camping

By Peggy C |

What a find! Only 23 miles from Miami city center, this county park is perfect. It offers spacious RV camping with hookups and Wi-Fi, a water park, fishing pier, laundry facilities and many other amenities. Grounds are well kept. For only $30/night, this is well below the going rates for "RV resorts". I would highly recommend this park.

its okay

Nice mini golf

By KFCincy26 |

We decided to play mini golf at C. B. Smith Park to kill some time. We had a good time but the course isn't really anything special. I don't want to sound negative, but there just wasn't anything to take it to the next level.

By puppydog143 |

i went with a homeschool group at first i was in the water club house but another kid told me about h2woah it looked so so so steep but once he draged me on it was no so bad it dosent feel like its going straight down but...... their where some spots with the plastic was worn off but over all it was really fun. p.s. dont even bother having a race on h2woah one is faster than the other

C.B. Smith Park

By Marisa P |

Great local water park...nothing fancy, but the kids enjoyed it! 4 giant slides, great kiddie area, okay lazy river.
Cons, not enough shade areas

A great family park, full of events, and good atmosphere.

By gflores1957 |

I have enjoy the park for many years already, family picnics, company picnics, played tennis there, enjoyed many different venues, is a good place to relax and enjoy nature.

Very nice park and campground

By TallyWriter |

This park has loads of activities. We liked the paved hike/bike trails that run all over the park. Campsites are spacious and some are shaded. Many are pull-thru. Nice lakes and canals.

Lots of fun for kids and parents

By momof3_nk |

We visited the Paradise Cove water park and the Mini Golf at CB Smith Park on different days - both were so much fun!! The water park has various sections that are appropriate for different ages so it really is great for all ages. My kids loved it! It was also clean, and they had lots of tables and chairs for parents who didn't want to get in the water.
We had so much fun at the mini golf as well! They have two courses, and there are hills, water obstacles and water falls to make it more exciting. Very reasonable prices too.

Fun for young and young at heart!!!!

By JaneRichard |

Reasonably priced water park. Everything is very clean and the staff is friendly. It is especially good for families with children age 2 to 14. I enjoy taking my grandchildren. I suggest you get there when it opens at 9:30 in order to secure one of the many shaded lounge chairs. Check for days and hours of operation since this is a seasonal attraction.

The pools are super clean, amazing lifesavers, big place for families to make family reunions, little water park for the little ones and a nice big pool for the big ones, water slide and a trampoline. Just to have a good day it close early.

This place is great. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The park is clean and bathrooms and showers as well. Highly recommend.

Nice place...

Hit some balls in the Range (golf and baseballs) while the family enjoys the water park....nice location, but it can get crowded and long lines during the weekend. One drwback is the food available is very basic and not good so bring your own....

Delightful Birthday Party / BBQ

I was pleasantly surprised to find this park very clean and the venue lovely for a BBQ. It was also a birthday celebration and there was room for over 100 including children.

$8 All-you-can-play mini golf, what's not to love?

By agiftedyoungster |

A perfectly fine place to mini-golf with the family, it's what you expect for $8 at a convenient location. The course is nothing fancy, but it sports 18 holes that are somewhat of a challenge.

On a Sunday afternoon, it's not too crowded. My expectations were met - it was very easy to enter the park, pay, and $8/person for essentially ALL-YOU-CAN-GOLF, CB Smith does it best.

I originally planned to go to Monster Golf, but my mom preferred the outdoors, and from what I saw when I went into Monster Golf, this course is slightly larger (Monster Golf has its own strengths, though).

Also, as a response to the "bad employees" working at AllGolf, there was one girl at the register, and I didn't have any problems with anything, it may depend on the day. Also, the courses are not lit, so if you it will be harder to play during the evening, which I would not recommend. Come during the daytime.

Nice upgrade to the water "park"

The water park was recently upgraded with very nice newer water slides. The park can get very busy since there are not many water attractions in the tri-county area of S.FL. Kids have fun when they go there

Best park and driving range in area

By MWK |

Awesome park to take the dog for a walk. Paths are clean with many benches along the way and pavilions for shade.

Driving range is like a top golf but not as expensive! They offer a membership for $60 that gets you 5 large buckets and $1 off all buckets after that. Highly recommend the range for practice.

Mini golf course is well kept as well. No top of the line course but very well kept and challenging. Apparently they have two 18 hole courses but we only played 1 so far.

Have yet to do the batting cages but will certainly be back for those on date night!
