Been to Riverside Casino several times. This is the first time I've actually stayed there. I was extremely surprised how nice the rooms are. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. It was a remodeled room very nice. And they have " my pillows" they are so comfortable I won a little cash and went and bought me a couple which they sell down on the casino floor at a discounted price. They have everything you need at donlaughlins a variety of food movie theater and more shows than any casino on the strip. Looking forward to going there again very soon. I highly recommended. Did I mention all the personnel there are very helpful and friendly?

We went to this casino to wind down and enjoy ourselves , really bad smell i the Casino and restaurant , of cigarettes and burnt things . The food in the buffet is terrible . all cold and dried up . The staff on the floor were very nice , but take my word for it , go elsewhere to eat , salad was good and the biscuit

Had a great view of the river while playing cards here. Very friendly staff here as well. Will definitely go back.

It is dark in the table area. Dealers are rather rude. Payouts on blackjack only 5:6 not the standard 2:3. It is at the end of the riverwalk--and the worst casino. In fairness, it is the only one with any "nightlife" so if that is what you want, you may like it.

By Dawn D |

Large casino, many machines to pick from. Friendly staff. Few drink people coming around was there for an hour and a half and only had one come around.

This trip was the worst trip ever! Was suppose to leave at 5:50am March 30th and didn't get home until March 31st 9:30 am. No we waited that long!

By NOLASIA |

Sure it's an old casino hotel. Hotel furnishings are dated, provided toiletries poor, bed and bath room are adequate size and views and price are excellent. Casino is a little difficult to navigate with smaller gambling areas and not one huge cavernous floor. And if gambling is not for you, there's a great pool area, bowling alley, cinema and classic car museum. Still not happy then go to Las Vegas strip!

Riverside casino offers a lot of things to do for kids or young of heart. Movie theater, bowling ally, arcade, etc. Lots of stores and food establishments. I enjoy playing here, unfortunately this trip I only played Bingo. I will return and play here in the future.

By Satdiver |

We did extremely well while playing at the Riverside. The machines operate well and my spouse and I hit several nice payouts.

By Colin M |

Lots of noise, smoke and low pay out slots. We traveled with 100 people and no one had any medium payouts. As you walk around the floor it was evident the slots were not paying

By ed m |

very busy slots seemed alittle lose did pretty well any way!!! old slots which i like smoke never bothers me so made no difference smoking or non smoking lots of shops alittle high but then they all are

By WSFloyd |

Please help me I had to get away from Harrahs hopped on river taxi everybody was going there so I did too. Why did I do that. Players card employee was rude. Played for awhile got enough point they gave me free play, machine took it didn't get to play, threw in the towel, decided to go take advantage of my by one get one free buffet $16.00 food I wouldn't serve to my worst enemy.

Great customer service and a Bingo Hall with outstanding suspense waiting for that last bingo number. Staff is beyond amazing and there is so much to do here even making it a family trip affair.

By SteveArn |

The room was elegant, beautiful views from the balcony. Beautiful spacious bathroom! Casino was average and had friendly staff. Several choices for food without leaving the hotel / casino. Activities for the teens. This good place to stay was totally overshadowed by the rudeness of the valet and bell staff! Will not stay here again.

When the former Flamingo Casino changed ownership, we needed a new family type casino to INVEST our money lol,,and discovered the Riverside casino was the ULTIMATE Family /adult Playground around... This casino has IT ALL!! Two towers to stay, one smoking one non smoking and BELIEVE IT BUT A SEPERATE HOTEL FOR FAMILY AND PETS!!! kids enjoy this casino as much as us adults.. a larger pool and Jacuzzi the size of a swimming pool as well! ! The casino has 2 seperate areas, one for smokers othe for non (i find gambling more profitable and quieter on non-smokers side) Don Laughlin really knows what family /adult casinos should be like, with bowling alley, food courts, awesome stores and even has a DOUBLE SIDED RIULLETTE TABLE!! Ohh BTW where else can a guy go see a CHICK FLIX with the lady and DRINK BEER DURING THE WHOLE MOVIE!!šŸ‘šŸ˜‰ EXCELLENT COMPROMISE GUYS!! Shhhh!!! BUT😐 its not uncommon for Don to walk arnd the casino between 12-1am and personaly greet people, even buy late night meals alongside with him,, ive had the privilege before,,

Found this casino very smokey and noisy .However it does have cinema, bowling alley and vintage car showroom etc.

Love this place. Didn’t really win big but Alicia has got to be one of the best servers there ever is! Food is good at some of the places but we come for the atmosphere. And Alicia goes beyond being a fantastic host.!!

By bearfacts101 |

This place was great. Very family friendly. They had a movie theatre, lazer tag, and kids castle. There was a dance club and numerous different resturant choices. Staff at the players club sign up was very slow. Waited about 45 minutes in line and there were only 3 people ahead of me. Was a pretty hopping place. Alot going on. Didn't stay in hotel so can't comment on that but would like to in the future. Mr. Laughlin was walking around in the casino. What a dapper looking man.

We are travel trailer folks but come to the casino all the time to eat and gamble.

We usually go with a gang of friends to the Super Bowl at the Aquarius because our friend gets the tickets for the party.

So, because we are club members, would be able to get free tickets to your Super Bowl Party. We will have our trailer across the street and take the bus to your doorstep, as usual. We love the casino because we know our way around, have great food and drinks and just love the action.

We are so bummed that the party group fell apart this year, but I felt sure you would provide us with tickets for the party so we could spend a few days with you.

Please let me know. Thanks

By Mike |

Bad part is I didn't stay here.
There's EVERYTHING HERE! Movie theater, car museum, all sorts of bars and places to eat. Access to everything that matters.
The service was great, the machines were great, free play for signing up was cool, drinks were good and honestly even the other patrons were cool.
I actually got to see Don Laughlin when I first walked in from the Water Taxi outside - the man who started it all from an 8 motel casino, privately built the bridge over the river and gave it to the government at no cost, and does great work for the Shiners.
Too bad I didn't know it was him until I waited in line at the Players Club and saw his pic on the wall ;)

This casino is huge there are so many different things to play table games slot machine car show so many different levels you cannot get bored there buffet was great and we’re not really buffet people

By Moe G |

This was Great. The variety of food from waffles made while you wait, omelets made your way, Prime Rib that was some of the best ever had. It was clean, AWESOMESAUCE food.and Kristy our server THE BEST Wish all servers were like her. For the price (which is a bargain) best on the River. Will come back. Try it the view is Beautiful

By Mary F |

Enjoyed our gambling, came out even, its better than losing. Played plenty of Keno, my favorite. Also, enjoyed the Taxi ride from Harrahs to the Riverside.

By Linda G |

We stopped in Casino area since we were staying next door I immediately felt claustrophobic. Very dark, dingy , old Casino area. Did not stay long. Although my friend did have good luck on machines I did not have any. Did not want to try any food areas. Again, friend had bowl of chili seemed okay for him. I could not wait to get out of there. Actually went back to my hotel and took a shower. Although I did not tour the casino or stay a room I can't fully give my opinion. I'm just telling you my first impressions. Personally I would never choose to stay there. Others might see it differently.

By jillebean6 |

Their Players Club service was outstanding! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They have a lot of different slot machines and tables. Some of the slots are quite loose! Thank you Riverside! I'll be back! Nice place and a lot of history with this casino. Check out the Classic Car museum while you are there too!

By Michael M |

Have stayed here on many occasions and had great time in July however I never saw so many kids running around casino floor and out at pool almost obnoxious. The riverside lounge is still a great bar prime rib room hard to beat and the fancy resturant is a great place for good romantic dinner

By 802bbbbbb |

Don Laughlin's is the most kid friendly resorts in Laughlin they have a meet car show bowling alley good arcade a movie theater for the kids to enjoy I don't think the pool area is very nice and it's pretty smoky inside but it does Cater to families. The casino is nice and the slots are pretty loose

By TGARCIA3164 |

Very large casino stretches between 2 hotel towers and across the street. Lots of newer slots and older favorites.
Good ventilation, even the smoking areas weren't bad or hard to breathe.
Servers were nice and came around regularly.
Bingo 7 times a day with good pay-outs for the price.

By Guide12793715851 |

My husband and myself took a 6 day vacation and stayed at the Riverside casino and resort. They always welcome us with open arms and make us feel welcomed. Pet rooms are always clean and that's very much appreciated by are critter Boots MC Graw

By Sharon M |

This casino could use a makeover but the slots are looser than most. Good variety of machines, bowling alley and movie theater within the casino. Parking is iffy but have plenty of handicap spaces.

By Loren K |

EXTREMELY loud...sound on machines set WAY too high on most. You can tone it down a little on most but even then louder than I've found in other casinos. Drink service was often slow...didn't seem to have nearly enough servers. The ones that were working on each shift were doing the best they could, practically running with full trays of drinks but often couldn't keep up, especially in the north end. In the south end, there seemed to often be only 1 or 2 servers but they didn't seem to be as efficient. South end is really bright, north end is very dark and often smoky.

By S4603OEdawnw |

This is place is great for families! Plenty to do for the little ones, pool, arcade, bowling and movies. The Arcade games pay out tickets which the kids can redeem for toys. And you don't have to spend a fortune to win them! the hotel overall is in need of an update but still nice. You can't beat the view from the River-view cafe, a must see!

By Ale97533 |

Got an amazing deal on airfare and hotel; figured that meant the hotel would be subpar- boy was I wrong.
Large room, double queen beds, "my pillow" brand pillows! Did not have microwave or fridge in room, but had large bathroom and cable TV. Great view. Multiple elevators so it didn't take long to get to room on 14th floor.
Casino was wonderful too! Great variety of games, large non-smoking area, and free drinks (wine, beer, mixed drinks, coffee, water, or pop).
Hotel included a bowling alley, movie theater, classic car museum, kids area, and more!

While we were playing roulette, all I could hear the two dealers talking about was how much they didn't like their jobs and how certain customers annoyed them so much. On and on about how some local regular is so demanding or mean. They couldn't care or less about the customers at the table. But the worst aspect of it was this.... every spin, the dealer changed the ball, from a small ball to a medium ball to a fat ball. I didn't even know this was legal in Nevada. I Googled it and basically, yes, it's legal, but it's highly dubious and casinos that are doing it are basically doing it because they don't want the player to catch onto streaks or patterns. So each spin is with a different ball. I couldn't believe it. One spin was with a fat ball that had no bounce and landed in a number immediately and the next spin was with a small ball and it bounced for ten seconds before finally settling in a number. I thought this was cheating, until I realized they did this everywhere in Laughlin. Horrible practice. A small town should have better odds. Are you really scared of the player beating you? Shame on you. And then the drink service. .. I bought a big beer in their gift store. I was drinking it as I was playing a slot. A cocktail waitress came by. I asked her for a rum and coke. She said, "Is that big beer yours?" I said, "Yes." She said, "I can't serve you another drink until you finish that big beer." I was like, what???? Who makes up these rules. Never had a problem getting two drinks at a time in Vegas. So that is why I say, this place is tight tight tight. Nothing here for the player. Outside, there are just all kinds of bugs, no taxis. And inside, fake roulette, tight machines, no drink service, disgruntled employees, Man, I don't even know who comes here to stay in the hotel or eat in the restaurants. The Indian casinos all over California do a hundred times better job than this place.

Did not see one employee in that place smile? Did feel welcomed. We were visiting our grandmother and she wanted this awesome buffet. When we got there at 215pm, they took our money $75.00 and than every employee in there was like ummm we are closing and rolling their eyes, and treated us like dogs. Look I know about closing and setting up for a different menu, but if that was the case, please don't take our money and treat us like we are in the way. I swear that whole building needs to be retrained in customer service.

Riverside hotel and casino is the first large property you will come to upon turning into Laughlin. Offers good food, riverwalk, gambling and bowling alley. Ample free parking spaces including RV. Easy walking. Smoking property.

By Sue49321 |

This casino is dirty, dingy and dark. It is so over run with kids and dogs its pathetic. (The dogs are NOT service animals) I feel Don Laughlin is exploiting families with kids by offering all the different activities. Kids DO NOT belong in a casino, nor do dogs. If you can afford to gamble then you can afford to get babysitters or pet sitters. I was disgusted the entire time I was here and sick to death of looking at unruly kids running into people.
I read reviews constantly and Don Laughlin's never responds to reviews. Guess all he cares about is making money. Pretty sad!

By Jesse A |

The Gal that assisted me with my reservation was the best. Can't wait to party it up. Here we come Don....

By Judy F |

This casino had a wide variety of slot machines. They were not tight, you could actually play. and win. Loved the table games.Huge selection and a lot open at 10 AM. The dealers were so competent and friendly. Never felt rushed. Ate at a couple places. Their prices were low and food good. Their cafe had everything. Convenient to get to. Taxi or water taxi. Both cheap.

By Kirk G |

Pretty rough around the edges kind of place. Not too clean, not too friendly, no cell signal in the building. Slots were just ok, a lot of games I’d never heard of before.
We tried out the poker room and it’s also just okay. The locals were not to keen on us being there it seemed.
One nice thing is the bar are with a giant wall of windows and a terrific view of the river.

By bookmaker |

By far the busiest of the Laughlin casino,s,in fact founded by Don Laughlin from whom the town takes its name.Lots of machines of all types plus a cinema, bowling alley and classic car showroom all within the boundary of the casino.
Personally prefer the quieter casinos situated along the river walk.

By millerhilife |

Nothing good to say about rooms, but food is great and saw more winner, so sad I was not one. Best Cocktail bar upper level.

By StanleyandMarie |

This casino is located on the most northern spot of the casino district so not as convenient as some, and yes, it also seems somewhat dated. It is also a challenge to find your way around the place, but a staff member actually took the time to walk us close to our destination since the directions were too confusing. There also seems to be more things for kids to do in this resort, or maybe it was just more obvious with the signage but things like bowling lanes, the car collection and movies make it an interesting spot to visit.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of July. This was our third trip here in two years but it may be our last. We were given a room in the older hotel tower and it was beyond pathetic. I understand that daily maid service was not available during this pandemic BUT when we arrived we found French fries on our carpet. Also the hallways were disgustingly dirty. They were not vacuumed once while we were there. We know because there was a water bottle cap lying in the hallway when we arrived and it was still there when we left along with the other trash. Maybe standards are slipping with the new generation.

The casino itself, well, I think they were trying to do a decent job of trying to keep everyone safe. Everyone wore masks, guests were required to wear masks, slot machines were open at a safe social distance, temperatures were taken (only) at check in and they had people available to disinfect machines between use. As far as winning, don't go there thinking you are going to win--you won't. But if you have enough money to play and enjoy the experience while you are there, go for it. Also lots of kids--and dogs--were seen on the casino floor, I guess because they have to walk through to get to restaurants and such but screaming kids in a casino is not my idea of fun.

By PlaytimewithMiss_T_e |

Came here w my Pa while we were visiting town and the casino was really Smokey smelling. There was a nice variety of machines.

We played the 3pm session of bingo and it was okay, it was bingo lol I was definitely the youngest in the room. Was annoyed and the announcer was as well from employees sitting at the front taking and smoking and the announcer even told the floor lady to please ask them to be quiet.

By clavin777 |

One of my favorite games is the crap table less gambling staff, individual seating and
play at your own speed. The game allows you to play without distraction.
This game does not provide membership points or beverage gratuity.
Please upgrade this game.

WE WENT TO LAUGHLIN JUST FOR THE PRIME RIB DINNER. PREVIOUSLY THE BEST PRIME RIB IN COUNTRY. THIS TIME IT TURNED OUT TO BE WORST. WE WERE REFUNDED BY MANAGER. COUPLE NEST TO US SENT THEIRS BACK THREE TIMES. TO BAD, IT WAS SO BAD WE WON'T GO BACK.

For many years we have been coming to The Riverside and have spent many a evening enjoying the shows and the various games.

It is sad to note that this property seems to be showing it's age. The staff now are not as welcoming as they once were, The slots seem to pay out less and less and the overall experience does make one consider the various other properties.

The best part is the Classic Car Museum which remains worthwhile .

By John B |

A room is a room. But their brunch buffet is a real shame , they would have to pay me to eat it again . To start with you can’t get any cooked eggs of any type. Every pie was days old I tried the cherry and the filling was like rubber, the pecan pie wasn’t any better , bacon only half cooked, scrambled eggs we’re running, potatoes were cold and hard . So disappointed when I left I got in the car and drove to IHOP across the river to get something to eat. Been eating at the River Side for over 40 years what a disappointment. Pool wasn’t open every day , if they insist on resorts fees every thing they say you get should be available.

By Nelson K |

The casino is great with many new slot machines. Played and left a winner which is good for me. Don't miss out on seeing the vintage cars. You have to go thru the bowling alley to get to them, but it was awesome to see so many beautifully restored cars from rumble seats to muscle cars. Some great bikes too. And it's all free.

By L. Joy |

Dirty and dingy! Looked more like a flea market than a casino resort! Washrooms were dirty and majority were out of use. Limited variety of slots and video poker games. Poor customer service.

By leogg65 |

The rooms are ok, and the buffet is ok. We do like the bingo, the theater, and the Prime Rib Room. We also would not miss the Oak Ridge Boys, when they are there

By Debby F |

I guess some people like the same thing year after year, they have their favorite machine and they like to come back to it, or their favorite table that brings them luck...all well and good....but the place is just plain tired after 30 years and needs an update. I get depressed walking around in there and then I leave without spending a dime. open up that wallet don and spend a little $$ to get back into 2017!!

By Beatrice S |

Old casino, walked in, walked out, very smelly, could not find quarter slot machines. Unable to locate staff for directions, information. We walked out!

By Tami C |

My mother in law had visited with my father in law many years ago and actually met Don Laughlin. They enjoyed it very much! She returned 8 years ago with a friend and unfortunately broke her arm and was told initially that she would have to get a cab to the hospital that was a half hour or more away. Mr. Laughlin stepped in and told one of his sons to take her to the hospital. Once again a good visit even with the broken arm! This brings me to this visit; she was so excited for this trip and without going into gory detail, Mr Laughlin would and should be devastated at how his Resort has been run into the ground and what it has become. The only positive is that there are some fun machines and my mother in law and sister in law did well on the slots. However; We will NOT return even for free!!

By Alaskanlarry |

We stopped by for a couple drinks before a show. Enjoyed the vibe. Things were busy but not hurried or crowded. Like the feel, clean well done for Laughlin. Not too Smokey, easy to find things.

By Dr. R. C. M |

Spent a few hours here. Slot drink service was better than average. The non-smoking section was indeed smoke-free.

By C2317TYbarbaram |

So much fun! So many games to play, table and slots! High Roller area as well. Fast and friendly cocktail service. Smoke free areas too!

By RSuda |

Loved the idea it was non-smoking & I even won some $ there. It's located along the CO River. We stayed at the Aquarius & walked the riverwalk to the casino.

By Geni W |

It took a long time to get a players card - I’ve been to several casinos and never had to wait that long to get a players card processed. We got a bogo buffet with our new card and that was the nastiest buffet I’ve ever been to. It reminded me of the buffet in the Chevy Chase Vacation Vegas movie, where it was all slop. I was able to choke down half a chicken thigh and some potato salad, but only because I was very hungry.

By P9955GHlynnh |

This is our eighth trip Riverside Resort and casino and all trips have been A+, except this time - I’m rating it a solid C. I’m not rating it a ā€œCā€ because of not winning, I’m rating it this way because not one machine would even tease us or play with us! On trips in the past, we had lot more entertainment out of the machines than this last trip! Heck, my husband and I never expect to win when we go on gambling trips, but seriously this was quite disappointing!

The hotel was great. We stayed in south tower balcony room with pool view! Excellent!!! In the past we’ve stayed in north tower balcony rooms and those were excellent as well! Cleaning staff no matter what tower you’re in are so helpful! If you need anything, just ask. They’re on it!!

Food choices are good! We highly recommend Casa Serrano for Mexican! We go there every time we visit! Super yummy! The Riverside Buffet is good as well. We did the brunch buffet - a lot of choices. The Prime Rib Room has an awesome salad bar and prime rib was great! Make sure to make reservations, tho, or you won’t get in!

Pool is super nice! Music is playing and servers on hand - truly feels like you’re on vacay!! However, keep in mind they won’t let you bring anything in. No drinks or snacks, even if you paid for them them inside! They wouldn’t even let me bring in my Yeti of ice water in. Now, that’s a bit extreme!!

Overall, we will go back. We hope, however, that the casino floor loosens their reins a bit so we can have a tad more entertainment for our buck!

Lastly, if you’re gambling, a server will bring you drinks for free. However, this trip it was hard to find a server!! So, we ended up sitting and playing at the bar(s). Bartenders were jiffy on the spot!

By janicembeesley |

I played a lot of the slots and hit absolutely NOTHING! These slots are extremely tight! This is also more geared toward families with a bowling alley and movie theatre. But for gambling, not so much!

By unknowndiner |

Although a typical casino, it is in definite need of some updating. Most machines are old and the video poker somewhat limited. This place is in need of better ventilation.

By Ben P |

The Riverside resort casino is quite large a lot of activities such as bowling alleys, movies, large bingo hall, Couple of outdoor pools one very nice new pool deck, they offer river cruises on the Colorado river there’s also a water taxi to get a crossed or up and down the river. Several bars and restaurants. Overall a pretty cool place pretty laid-back crowd. Two hotel towers in need of updating but still nice and clean decent quality I would recommend this place so I’m sure we will be back,

By VBC |

We were able to get rooms at the last minute for Labor Day weekend. We have a players club card, so no charge for rooms. Also get Prime Rib room dinners & free buffets.
I like there comp system. Can get cash for your points earned on slot machines.
Rooms are average, but okay & clean. Also like the movie theatre.

By SedonaSnow |

Riverside Resort and Casino has some of the best entertainment in Laughlin. Went to see Vegas McGraw this weekend. He puts on an excellent show. I don't think there are bad seats in the theatre. The sound system is great and the show was amazing. Everyone that works there is friendly, helpful and professional. Can't wait to go back.

By J. C. Gable |

The hotel/casino was the first in Laughlin. It offers many slots, table games, craps, poker etc., a good coffee shop overlooking the river, buffet and steak house. The rooms on one side overlook the Colorado River.

By Mary S |

Super chill fun casino when the chaos of the bigger hotels gets to be too much. Dealers are very nice and drink service is the best I’ve experienced.

By Windman69 |

Face mask required. A good selection of video games. Well maintained and kept up. Observed No Jackpot Winners in the number of times visited. Tight slots..

By Teri G |

Upscale restaurant with view of colorado river. Service was excellent. Food was above average and prices were about average for this type of restaurant

By susan a |

ZUMA!!!!!!! Anyone else love to play the slot game ZUMA like my husband and I do? I gather the answer is yes as it seems to be always busy but we snagged it early in the morning and loved each second. Thank you for having the last ZUMA machines!!!!!!

By Sharon M |

We have been staying here for years. We use a charter out of state to get there. The comps are great, rooms for the money is great. Restaurants in casino are great. The only thing is the choices of machines are better in smoking section.

By CHRISTIANE B |

Bowling, movie, car show. All gaming. Unusual stores and more. they have rooms for pets as well ! Nice Mexican resturant . Prices are very reasonable too !

By rohickssr |

We have stayed at the Riverside Casino and Resort the last 4 times we visited Laughlin. Each time we were comped a free room for 3 days and 2 free buffet tickets. This is a common offering, as we are in no way High Rollers. The Riverside attracts more players than any other gambling location in Laughlin, and with good reason. There is a lot to do besides gambling there. They have a movie theater showing first run movies,a bowling alley, a celebrity theater, a classic car show, and a kids arcade. The Riverside is celebrating 50 years on the river this year, and we have run into Don Layghlin twice, as he walks the floor almost daily. The Prime Rib Room is our favorite restaurant.....$17.99 for a prime rib dinner, served at your river view table.

By Sharon W |

Just another casino that was "ok".....no luck there either. But that's the game. Will stop by again whenever.

By scuba-chuck |

The first casino along the Colorado river, but it has been added to over the years. Lots to do in here - shops, restaurants, and even a movie theater - very fun.

By Dana R |

Lots of slots some tables, no Mississippi Stud here Dueces Wild Stud is fun but you really don't win, let it ride and 3 card poker are good options the normal blackjacks etc take up most of the space and sit mostly idle 3 card, Let it ride and Dueces Wild are usually full as would be Mississippi Stud if they had it,

By 2bald2care |

I went over to the Riverside to renew my player card and to try out the video poker. Nothing special here. One of my motives for coming here was to go upstairs to the bowling alley and check out the snack bar. Years ago when I worked for the Laughlin River run promoters, the snack bar served up a great cheeseburger. Guess what? They still do. $4 gets you a great cheeseburger and another $2.50 will get enough fries for 2 people. Sneak upstairs and check it out.

By g0rving |

This is an older casino and it has a lot of the older slots and new ones too and all the table games. The best part of it you don't have to leave to be entertained. There is a movie theater, bowling alley, dance clubs. The celebrity room features celebrities of all genres. A variety of restaurants and shops. You can also walk the river walk to other casino hotels nearby. The reason I gave it a 4 is it needs some updating.

By krist l |

Very dirty and smelly
We went there because it advertised $35, this turned into over $200.
We are in dispute with hotels .com
and have not received any type of compensation as of yet. If you review the reviews on TripAdvisor (great site) you will see what I’m writing is the same, only thing is you need to look way back because I’m sure for every bad review the hotel adds 5 or 10 good ones to push the bad one way down. I can’t find the one a friend just added two day ago, it’s gone.
We talked with management about our issues, they had not response or compensation offer nothing . They need some training
They can’t compete with vegas.
You are warned

I had a fabulous time at the roulette table. The dealers and cocktail waitress’s were fun. There was lots of fun energy in this casino

By MenifeeHelen |

This is an original casino and as far as the casino goes - has not changed at all in all those years. It is dark and old.

By Janice14 |

We arrived in Laughlin on a different air/hotel package, so did not stay here. My husband and I still wanted to go gambling here, so made two trips to gamble here during our stay. I played on the slot machines for quite awhile, before I lost. My husband played in a couple of their poker tournaments. The casino seems dark, and can be quite smoky at times. They do have a non smoking area, and was glad to see a waitress serving drinks get after someone and told them they had to smoke elsewhere. I wish they would bring in more newer machines, but still enjoy playing some of the older ones.

By Bridge324 |

Nice to see a casino making a concession to us non smokers. Separated from the main casino floor by a series of shops, this are remained pretty much smoke free without losing the overall casino floor experience. Well done Riverside.

By Vampiregf |

Good casino. I was able to play on the casino for all of my stay and took some home. Didn’t seem too crowded and plenty of games!

By Tom A |

To start with the valet was very helpful checking in and out.
Check in & check out was a breeze, very friendly staff. The line was long but moved fast, less than 10 minutes. The front desk lady was very nice, she gave us a room right away, and we got a room on the 14th floor South Tower. The room was nice, no issues being dirty or smelly. The room itself looked like it had been recently renovated, and was really clean, modern and nice. Big lighted mirror in the bathroom, mini refrigerator, beds that were comfortable, furnishings were very cool and had adjustable spotlights on the headboard which was very nice. The hallways were clean and had UV Disinfection Lights on the walls. The maid service was very efficient.
Hotel has cosmic bowling, arcade, 2 pools, and awesome views. It also has a movie theatre, spa, laser tag. Hotel also has a non-smoking casino.
The casino has a large variety of machines as well as plenty of table games, and some of the games are loose but the cocktail service in the casino is very prompt.
The food, no matter where we ate at was delicious with little to no wait times.
Buffet was Good with many items to choose from and drink service was quick.
Riverview Restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner, was good with views of the river.
Casa Serrano, Mexican cuisine & drinks, had great time there.
Prime Rib Room, man oh man this place was very good.
The casino and hotel security made you feel very safe, did not see any riff raft there.
We will be back soon.

Great casino to visit in Laughlin, it was the first and still remains the best!
Plenty of slots and tables games with attentive staff.

By Penniesonthedollar |

Rude waitstaff
The places screams 1970s, including the disgusting nasty dirty floors and bathrooms. Players beware

By Brandon K |

This casino anchors one end of casino row and was the first casino in Laughlin (at a much smaller size then). It has old school Vegas style lights instead of modern day LED screens, etc. The outside is stark white during the day. Once you get inside, it is a much warmer and modern casino than you would expect. The place also has great restaurants, and we enjoyed ourselves in the Prime Rib Room and car museum. We did not get a chance for a movie in the movie theater, but this casino is more family friendly than many of the others as it has children's activities.

By wigrma2002 |

Very disappointing compared to previous visits...Food below par in all restaurants, other than private vendors, drinks and bar service unacceptable no matter how much was played, bathroom was filthy upon check in, had to request maid service and will add dead bird outside window not plesant..

This hotel is so smoke filled it makes you gag. You come out of there smelling of smoke. Our clothes that we kept in the suitcase that were clean and didn't even go in the casino had to be washed when we got home because they smelled of smoke. I don't know why its that way I think they should invest in a remodel and better smoke eatters. Rooms are old, casino is old looking as well.

We had a wonderful time staying at Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino RV Park. It was very quiet and comfortable. The view of the casino's at night from our spot was great. I would recommend this park to other RVers.

Two 53 year olds on a Laughlin junket from Minneapolis, Mn 11/17 - 11/20/16. Arrived to HHH terminal at 4:30am for 6am flight. No issues and arrived on time to Bullhead City, AZ, we were handed an envelope with hotel keys, players cards, and info for return flight, and got on the bus. Our suit case that was checked and the carry on suitcase we brought were brought to our room within 2 hours of landing. Room was ready when we arrived, didnt have to check or anything, just went straight to the room. Then, Hold your breath to see if you get a good room or not....boom!! room 484 North tower. Facing the river, right over the pool. Nice and comfortable King size bed. Room had sliding glass door onto a small deck. The door DID open, but there is no screen. Bathroom was clean, with a full tub and shower. Toilet seemed very low, like sitting on the floor, however. lol Provided with ample, thick fluffy white towels and low end toiletries. Only complaint was the water pressure. Was like taking a shower under a dripping faucet. There was a coffee machine, in the room, with Styrofoam cups, and pretty good tasting coffee. We were pleased with the maid service, and the cleanliness of our room for the entire time. Ate at the Riverside cafe for 2 breakfasts. The employees were pleasant, we were served in a timely manner, and the food was above average. Cost was free because we used our comps. We also "rolled the dice" on the Sunday brunch buffet. We were going in thinking it would be awful, based on the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything we both ate was hot and tasted good. There was a huge selection of food, including hot and cold selections. Quite honestly, if you cant fill up for breakfast and lunch at this buffet, there is something wrong. They had both breakfast and lunch food, as well as a salad bar, made to order waffles, to order eggs and omelets, bacon, sausage, roast beef, two kinds of chicken and many other offerings. Desert was lacking, but we were both stuffed anyway, and opted for ice cream and a piece of carrot cake that was fair. We played bingo twice, no wins but it was fun. VERY helpful employees in the bingo hall. Other Gambling was good, having broken even after 4 days, although our bigger wins were at the Aquarius. Won $100 on Keno at a bar top machine at the Riverside, while watching the Gophers football game on Saturday at the bar connected to bowling alley and the sportsbook. We won on both our Gophers football and Vikings football sportsbook bets, which made for a couple of fun afternoons. We had a great time, and thank Mr. Laughlin for an awesome complimentary trip! Hope we get to come back soon!

Husband drives a truck and we had a day or so layover so decided to try our luck; Lots of different machines that we really enjoyed. Enjoyed every minute; won some, lost some and had lots of fun. Antique car display upstairs to view. Food in both restaurants good and lots from which to choose. Was 115 degrees that day and casino and all attractions very cool. Everyone nice and service good. Lots of history displayed about the casino and sites around. We saw jet skiing and boat rides with ferry, but did not participate. Fun to watch while we were eating. If you have your bathing suit, you can swim from the bank of the Colorado river.

We have been to Laughlin more times than I can count (relatives lived in nearby Needles) so I watched the south tower go up way back when. The Riverside hasn't changed a bit which is too bad. It was the original casino on the River and is still owned by Don Laughlin and his family. You would think with all the millions they tell you they have spent on casino/hotel construction, the bridge, etc, they would set some aside for capital improvements. The Riverside still reeks of smoke everywhere. Even the non-smoking rooms have the tainted smell of smoke. The customer service is pretty "spotty"...those in a position to get a tip can be quite pleasant and helpful but those stuck behind counters, etc don't seem to care whether you are satisfied or not...they spend lots of time discussing issues important to them and irrelevant to you. The food at the Riverview restaurant (main restaurant if you don't want the buffet) is pretty bland and dry like its been overcooked. Forget purchasing the wifi($8.99/24 hours)....it barely works....the IT department quits at 8pm so after that, you are SOL. It is only good for a single device on which it won't work anyway so what's the point?? The room rates are pretty cheap which is why there are lots of people but we will plan of staying at one of the other casinos the next time we come. There is one good point about the Riverside...it is only one of two hotel/casinos (the Colorado Belle being the other) that provides shuttle service from the airport....otherwise you have to get a taxi.

By NitroDog |

The casino is nice with many dining options. The have both old and new slot machines. Some of the casino looks like a swap meet. Very friendly employees and I will return.

By Mbenson57 |

Good selection of slot machines. Actually won a little. Friendly workers. I did not stay at hotel, but definitely will next I am in Laughlin. Nice places to eat and fairly priced. I only rated as very good since I didn't stay in a room.

By 452cube |

Absolutely love the new pool with bar, finally a place for Adults only. We didn't stay here this visit but without a doubt will be next time. Casino is dated but clean and the staff is very friendly. Obviously they like who they work for as I have seen many of the same faces for the last 12yrs or so.

By caltravelgal |

This is a small casino with not a lot of machines and they are very tight. The smoking area is dark and warm, but the non smoking area has much better ventilation and lighting. I recommend gift shops instead.

By Shirley R |

We so enjoy getting away from our regular routine. The free air and lodging is a great incentive for us to take part in fun days. what we lose is our cost of the amenities. Should we win. It is a bonus.
Not having the option of paying and going first class however is a disappointment. Disabilities made that a more enjoyable trip to and from Laughlin

By Kenomann58 |

I have been coming here for 22 years...their motto use to be ā€œcustomer is kingā€...but now it seems like bottom line is king. It seems the players club has evolved into a society of catering to those who only visit frequently. . I have spent thousands gambling in their casino, only to be pushed to bronze because I haven’t been there for a while. So, the loyalty is a little lacking. That being said, the casino and hotel are still one of the cleanest properties in Laughlin. Miss some of the machines I loved in non smoking, but I get it that they must keep current. Still the best place in Laughlin.

By log b |

Visted Laughlin 8 time 6 at Riverview, very time at Rverview great employees, very good resturants the rib room very good. Gaming you can play for a week and still a new game, nice poker room. Great bars. Can not wait to go back. thanks Don.

Riverside is a fun casino. Lots of friends go on the riverboat down to Riverside. They say they like the slots there. Good food.

By Brett R |

BAD BAD WIFI! The rest of things were okay the rooms are 1970's with a minor facelift. Stay in North tower. Food was good everywhere. The Hotel next door was gorgeous Aquarius stay there!!

By nancybedw |

Poor and rude was the vibe we got from staff and things around us. Not the Midwestern hospitality. Asked staff basic questions under paid. Most staff is much older, personally I don't want an attendant asking me if i want a drink when their tats hang out the bottom and the crows feet hit their jaw lines, especially with the b.o. smell. We have used the theater their which is way over dated uncomfortable and poorly designed. Popcorn tasted like stale cardboard and over priced. Will not be going back.

By Wadb25 |

the gaming is outdated and old. they also need a remodel soon. staff is super slow to deal with. never seen a drink lady in 2 hrs

By lynnek5282018 |

The casino was ok. About the same with some new slots but very tight. No one was yelling or jumping up. And the prices of things was high. Don't care if I go back.

By tosk |

I like a balcony and they are few and far between in Laughlin. We stayed in a very nice suite at such a reasonable rate. I hate when there are only two desk type chairs to sit in, so very much enjoyed the living area with couch, chairs, etc and nice TV. The bedroom was also nice, it was very clean, had very good service and the bonus for me was being able to sit on a balcony overlooking the Colorado River. There casino was a nice change from Las Vegas, I believe Laughlin is a more real gambling city, and I thought the payout was far superior than Las Vegas. We had a great time there and are going back again in April!

By Chipperhigh2 |

Visited the casino at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort. My wife and I had tickets on River Tour Boat. They provided a wheelchair to take her from the parking lot to the boat and back when the trip was over. The casino is very large and well lite. I even played a slot and won. Will return to this casino and hotel.

We had A-blast and is place last night we want a little mining but we just enjoy the people the atmosphere and the casino was actually open good times good fun I'll be glad when this fire is is over so they could really open up and enjoy a lot more

We enjoyed our stay in the RV park. 24/7/365 shuttle runs between the casino and the RV Park. 20/30/50 AMP service, sewer, water and cable. Great prices for weekly stays.

By JLR410 |

This casino seemed more dark, dingy and smokey than some of the others in Laughlin, even the so called non smoking side.

By Joseph W |

The staff at the Riverside casino are always very accommodating and friendly. The rewards center does take a little more time to get what you want. the kiosk is the way to go to get any update or rewards. the rewards are good at the Riverside and they offer free dinners for annivarsaries and birthdays to members.

By 1nicemom |

Seriously DOn Laughlin? Put some money into this place. The new 21+ pool is gorgeous, but the hotel and casino are both in need of major updates. Elevators were horrible. Took me 1 hour to get from 4th floor to the main floor one morning. Steps only took us to a roof below with no other exit. How fire safe is that??? Staff were not friendly at all! So rude. Casino is a bunch of crappy games that pay nothing. Only eat your money Fast! Did most of our gambling at the Aquarius and Edgewater where we would actually win something. Ate dinner at the Prime Rib ROom Saturday, which was spectacular. At least you are still doing something right. I would not stay here again.

By Thomas S |

its cheap but definately falls under the get what you pay for scenario. Great views but selection and food were terrible.

By TSFfromNM |

We played some slots here and seemed like the placement of the machines left alot of room. I do not like crowds so I appreciate not sitting on top of each other.

By flashyboy |

We love Don Laugnlins Riverside casino. We always have so much fun. The gaming is almost always good. The food and staff in the restaurants are the best. The rooms are clean and quiet. They continue to make improvements at this casino.

By realtortothestars |

The Casino is very large, but it is very old and in need of a serious update. They have a bowling alley and a movie theater too. The location is great and they have boat rides you can take along with the water taxi stops here last. It is across from the mall. The riverwalk is also there.

By Linda J |

This was my 3rd trip to Riverside and my least favorite. Machines were tight, food was OK but not that great. Ate at the restaurant, buffet and prime rib room. Casino is too smokey. Had a room that we could not open the windows and ventilation not that great. Went to the Johhny Cash show. The show was great but WAY TOO LOUD! The service on the machines is bad and housekeeping was not the best. Lots of negatives this trip.

By Liz730053 |

We were passing through Laughlin & decided to stop at the casino. Go to the King of Clubs players club. You will get a $1 off the USS Riverside boat tour, free admission to the car collection upstairs & a few other coupons.
Play 10 points on he slots & you will get a chance to win $5 & up for free play.
The casino had lots of penny machines & had a nice atmosphere. The ceiling was higher than a lot of the casinos in the area.

By Cindy B |

We tried to book the flight and room package when we saw it com out. I called all day off and on, hit redial occassionally for 6 hrs straight, even left a voicemail message with home number to call us back sayong we wanted to book a flight & room package. I even called hotel main number and ask if the flight phone was working saying we couldnt get through at all except for a busy signal all day or to leave a voice mail, and her reply was "Well M'aam they are busy today". And we never ever received a call back not even a day or week later. A friend recommended us to Don Laughlin. Cant say that we were impressed at all. Horrible customer service.

By Ryan E |

Not child friendly!! Extremely rude staff!! Never Again!!! Screamed at for stopping to look at a sign while trying to find the south tower.

By dkinney2010 |

If you like to know about the town you are staying in, this Casino tells the story about Don Laughlin and his huge success story. If smoke bothers you; the low ceilings do hold the smoke but they try to keep the air as clean as possible. Best Poker Room on the River - Kudo's to the Poker Staff. EDWARD, one of the dealers was SO NICE!! Well Managed, obviously! Never got to see the Poker Boss, James, but the room is run well! The other hotels had few, if any poker games at all!!

By Robert S |

We stayed at Don Laughlin's Resort for our family reunion. It was a pleasant experience and the rooms, food, and gambling were great. I like to play Texas Holdem and the tables were a nice mix of locals and tourists. Everyone was good nature and I played for many many hours.

By Lynn L |

Glad to see they had a non smoking section in the casino. Loved the bowling and it was nice they had a movie theater.

By bilozano |

Always something to do either at the slots or tables and concert halls. Rooms cozy and in casino building. Food choices great.Loved Sidewalk Cafe and menu.

By Deb N |

Love this place and will probably stay here next time. Played BINGO, the buttet was reasonably priced and had great food choices. The slots were more giving and they have Fatburger and a lot of little shops and a lot more family oriented options.

This place covers the entire family! We go for the casino slot asst. and buffet. This place covers the entire family: bowling, pool table, movies, and more! Beat the heat for awhile!

By sharking |

Nice break from all the gaming action and casino life.
Recent releases were playing. Theaters are clean with new seats- though I thought the seats were uncomfortable after an hour and half.
You can get the normal movie snacks as we'll as an alcoholic beverage at their bar.
If you get a fountain drink , make sure to use lots of ice because the soda came out warm and melted what little ice we had. They are not allowed to salt their popcorn so make sure you do that if you prefer. Theater is on second level arcade so there are kids running around everywhere.

By CSS9112014 |

We had such a good time bowling. It had been years and was fun in a large group, 8 of us. There is a bar but no drinks at the lane. They also have pool tables. I really like this casino as it is not just gambling. You can also take your kids to see a movie and adults they sell alcohol inside as well. The view over the lake bar is so relaxing and just a nice place to spend hours at. Also they have the car exhibit upstairs and off the parking lot. Don't forget they have the walkway and boat rides to and from the other casinos.

The lady working at the watchman store was great , she opened up another store that was closed for me , I was leaving earlier than the store opening the next day , I got all I needed . What a great service to a traveler.

I went here for the first time on my birthday this last month. It was nice. The views were wonderful. Me being a Las Vegas fan didn't think I would like the "low key" of the place but I did. I was surprised. The food in the restaurants were good, the casino was fun with happy people and we had a great time.

By andreaI |

We were here for a wedding. They had a good variety of slots and table games. It was a really fun time!

By Wayzata-Mahopac |

I wanted so badly to gamble at Don Laughlin's Riverside. We flew in on one of their Sun Country charter flights. I spent the first day exploring the vast casino searching for 25 cent slot machines with 3 mechanical reels. IGT is the manufacturer of a huge variety of these games that used to dominate casino floors. They have a few of the fancy new style IGT multi-payline machines that really require $1.25 per spin. But, none (zero) of the slot machines I play.

The 25 cent slot machines with 3 mechanical reels made by IGT that have small jackpots let you stretch out your bankroll. You can find the 25 cent slot machines with 3 mechanical reels at the Edgewater and Colorado Belle. We ended up doing most of our gambling at those casinos during our 4 day stay at the Riverside.

I enjoyed Don Laughlin's Riverside casino even though I didn't gamble much. There's a certain charm to the place. It really takes some time to figure the place out. This was our first visit to Laughlin, NV. We're used to walking into a casino and being able to see the entire lay-out. Don Laughlin's Riverside casino is like a network of little casinos connected by hallways. Nostalgia seems to be the dominate theme at the Riverside. So, it seems odd that they removed all of the nostalgic slots.

The casino floor has tons of the big fancy slots with video screens that make lots of noise and have bright flashing lights. On my final night I played Wheel of Fortune once and managed to win $40. I liked winning, but I didn't like playing that machine. My wife played the 777 Red Hot Slot machine quite a bit. It's a new style multi-line IGT slot machine with mechanical reels. Each spin costs $1.25. She did very well playing that machine. Cashing-out up on three occasions ... winning $165 during one session.

We located some old IGT slots in the Winner Lounge (high limit room). They are $1 slots. We each put $100 in and played them down to zero. I was disappointed that the lever was not operational. Why have the arm on the slot machine and then lock them down so they don't work? I never press the Bet Max button. I always select the number of credits I chose to bet and then pull the arm. Not being able to pull the arm takes all of the fun out of playing slot machines.

The electronic craps was fun, and I even played Keno a few times so my players card showed some action. We'll be coming back to Don Laughlin's Riverside. Don Laughlin is from Minnesota and so are we. Catching a direct flight out of Minneapolis to Laughlin for $350 that includes the hotel stay is a great deal.

Amazing Casino Mr Laughlin Built . North tower casino is smoking and south tower is Non- Smoking 1000's of machines to play and tables for Blackjack ect

By tanadd |

It isn't bad but certainly needs a facelift. Needs help in the service dept. Again not bad but not good either. Spent 5 hours gambling and didn't receive 1 drink. Asked for 2 times but never showed up. Slots a bit tight but I don't really mind that all too much. I know I am not there to win really just to be entertained. Did have a decent pool and hot tub.

By Donna D |

Lots to Do! I've been going to this casino for years, and it has everything you could want in this type of vacation. Rooms are quiet. I know they have two pools, a hot tub *I think, and a fitness center, plus a bowling alley, and movie theatre too! I usually don't partake of a lot of it (super love the gaming), but I think this next month when I go I will try some of the different activities they have. Looking forward to my next visit!

By Janet G |

There wasn't much I can say about this place to make others want to go there. It was dark, over crowded and very odd....a lot of little junk jewelry/trinket shops. Even had a table selling MyPillow. Wow have never seen this much stuff in a casino.

By TeteBen1 |

Need to update. At the players club, we received a 2 for one at the buffet. The food tasted good. That was a nice surprise.

By NitroDog |

Large casino with lots to do. Large non-smoking section. Bowling, 2 nightclubs, many restaurants and a free auto collection. Friendly staff. Don Laughlin sure likes signs - they are everywhere throughout the casino - everywhere. Nice poker room and keno lounge. I added many photos.

Fun weekend destination! Water sports on the Colorado river, live entertainment and casino action makes for a fun destination!

By U2073ZAsusana |

This is probably the oldest casino and hotel in Laughlin on the River, but there are a lot of good machines here that the newer casinos do not have.

By SANDRA H |

I can't speak for the hotel as I did not stay here. I went in to buy cigarettes from their smoke shop and on my way out I stuck $20 in a machine and on my second spin I won $200, so needless to say I think the payouts are great

By ejenn2 |

Casino is chopped up into small areas and hard to find way around. Needs updating. Too bad owner doesn't allow others to capitalize on use of airport for traffic into Laughlin. Charters seem to need to stay at his hotel. Think all could benefit from more traffic. Each year we visit it seems sad the town doesn't show progress.

By Melanie K |

The room was actually nice, but our positive experience ends there. We wanted to get away for an overnight, somewhere close by. I called before we made the reservation and asked, twice, if the pool and hot tub were open and was reassured, twice, that it was. We made the reservation, drove down there, and no the pool area is closed. That was the main reason we went there in the first place. The girl at the desk said they sometimes do that because of windy weather. Ok, so tell me "it depends on the weather" so I can make an informed decision.

The room was nice but the rest of the casino and restaurants is smelly. Like stale cigarettes and old BO. It needs a complete remodel. No amount of cleaning would help at this point. The buffet was not edible. The quality ranged from nondescript to disgusting. The enchiladas were a gluey mess that somehow managed to be dry and sticky at the same time. My husband just ate a big salad because he couldn't find anything he even wanted to take a chance on. It's like Golden Corral only worse, and they charge twice as much -$20 per person for that. The dessert selections were mostly dry pieces of cake and fruit pies, but the filling did not actually contain fruit, just mostly fruit juice thickened with pectin and baked to a firm gel consistency. The soft serve ice cream machine was broken.

I don't know how this place stays in business. Never again. We'll do the extra driving to go to Vegas or Phoenix next time we want a break.

By cabmangeorge |

When your stomach tells you its time to eat, the Riverside will more than fill the bill. Don't Gourmet Room, upstairs is a GREAT place to eat. THREE different menus to choose from. Also the Prime Rib Loft and other fast food eateries to choose from. The coffee shop has some great views of the river with very good food with reasonable prices.

By Gerald P |

Didn't win a cent at any slot; I got smart and left. Employees gave me the run-around looking for a players' card desk.

By Claudette C |

My husband and I have been coming to Laughlin for over a decade and always stay at the Riverside. We are not huge gamblers but enjoy certain slots. This time we found none of our favorites and all of the penny slots take a max of up to $8.00. There are virtually no 25 cent machines. Love the Riverside but not the casino.

By pau_pau_salazar |

Everything you need all under 1 roof no need to go anywhere on the strip you got it all here with great staff, great restaurants, greet entertainment, fun things for the kids of all ages to do movie theater, laser tag, arcade, babysitting service, sports book, bars, theater, bowling, arcade, pools, pool tables, restaurants, and plenty of different food to choose from

By snelson0929 |

Don't bother. This place, along with all the other casinos in Laughlin, look like they're straight out of the 50's or 60's. As I write this, I'm 61 years old and I was one of the youngest people in the place. Forget many of the newer slots, I'm frankly surprised this place didn't still have the old mechanical one armed bandits.

There are a lot more pleasant places to lose your money.

By 190rayb |

We go here a few times a year and its usually pretty crowded. They do have a non-smoking section for playing the slots as well. On this trip, however, the pool is under renovation so it was not available and the temps were in the 100's so your options are to gamble, play bingo, go see a movie or visit one of the restaurants or go to another casino. The machines here are very tight and I find the gambling is better at other local casinos. This is probably one of the oldest casinos on the river and it is noticeable in the decor and the rooms. However, the rooms are comfortable. We also took a river boat trip to the dam and that was fun and enjoyable for the whole family.

By meeser |

I played slots and blackjack. Didn't do well on slots but had an occasional nice win. A friend had a big win. I fared better at blackjack and the dealers were friendly. They even had a couple of single deck tables.

By karen o |

Very first time we have stayed at the Resort in at least 15 years, Rooms were spacious, and the bathroom had plenty of counter space. We overlooked the adult pool in the south tower and had a great view of the river. Check in was pleasant with our host Keely. She was helpful and fun to work with. Will definitely stay again soon. We did not encounter any hotel personnel who were anything but welcoming and hospitable.

By FatNSassyLocalFoodie |

But people who live in Vegas come here to have fun. Don's has every thing. Right on the Colorado river. Grate hiking trails and horse trailer near by. Also several parks. Or never leave the building because there's so much to do right there. Movie theater, bowling alley, bingo parlor, poker room, car museum. Lots of shops and places to eat. I work in the area and stay at the Riverside every chance I get. One whole wing is non smoking. Lots of chooses for gaming. I enjoy the pools during the day. When the third floor north wing pool gets this old gal too warm. I just head over to the ground floor south wing pool that has more shade. Did I mention they have a live theater also. I Saw Billy Bob Thornton there recently I just love live shows. There's just so much more I couldn't cover it all. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. You can dance the night away you choice of night clubs. Like to sing? You can do that too. I enjoy a good game of pool and I do that here also. The price is always right because they have something in most price ranges. They even have an RV park if your checking out the country in your RV. I stay here at least once a month. The only thing I can't brag about here is the WiFi. It's hit or miss. Sometimes takes a while. And try the Laughlin BLT in the " River View" restaurant. Solo good and you can't beat the price any where.šŸ˜€

Went to the Buffett at Don Laughlins Riverside Casino and it was terrible. The seafood was frozen and prime rib was tough as shoe leather. Don't go there. The desert or Ice cream was the best food we ate.

By Laduska H |

It appeared to me that they were trying to do some upgrading. The casino was clean but did have that smoking smell. Not sure what they can do about it. We did some gambling in the non-smoking section. The bingo hall was very good about the smoking area separated and apparently they had good smoke "eaters" as I did not notice any smell in that area and there were plenty on smoker there.

By Steve B |

We did not stay here, but would consider it during our next visit. The casino was very impressive. All the games were new and the layout was very nice. It seems to be a popular casino in Laughlin and I can see why. The carpets give a happy party vibe. The employees seemed happy to be there. We went primarily to view the car collection. We did gamble with the slot machines and lost. But had a great time there and will be back.

By Wendy J |

We were there twice over the past weekend, and both times it was uncomfortably warm. Yes, it was 110 outside, but every other place was nice and cool. We didn't stay long because of it.

What a great experience we had at this casino, we marked a 5 spot during dinner and hit it for $750.00. We hit several other slot machines and left Laughlin winners from the a Riverside, great fun!

First time to Laughlin, came on Casino four day air and room. Pleasantly surprised with Riverside Casino, various restaurants, and room. Casino gaming was good, non-smoking area, as many free drinks as you wanted. We ate many times at Riverside Restaurant, good food at surprisingly low prices. Had dinner at Prime Rib Restaurant, very good, under $20.00. Took cruise on Colorado River, enjoyable trip. First visit to Laughlin, liked laid back attitude, lower table limits, good food at responsible prices. Took side trip to Oatman, Arizona. This was also a lot of fun. Auto Museum us also a must. There are two different areas. Second floor is largest. Many nice cars. Nice quiet change of pace. We had not been to Nevada for a number of years, Laughlin reminded me of Reno twenty years ago.

Security personnel were helpful..average age in THE hotel was 80...heavens waiting room...
Nothing there tp make me return...except the 4pm catholic mass

Don Lauglin's Riverside Casino is a must whenever we are in the area. We enjoy the restaurants and Buffet as well as the slots and gaming tables. There are always some new machines to try and some old favorites to revisit.

My waitress was named Karen. She was so disrespectful. We were a party of 5. We were seated and she asked our table what did we want to drink a couple of family members started calling of different drinks and she told us we don't have this so and so forth so I asked her was beverages do you have she stated pepsi products i said i don't know pepsi products so can you tell me what they are she slammed her hand down on the table and looked at me like I was bothering her she then proceeded to ignore me buy not answering my question and turning to everyone else in our party and ask them what they wanted by this time I refused to let her continue to serve our table I addressed my situation with another watiress and she didn't hesitate to take care of us I wish I could remember her name but she was the one who got our tip that night thats the only reason that I'm rating you a 1

By Putrbug69 |

It’s your typical casino at first glance. However, there is much more to do. They have a 6 movie theater that shows new releases and it is priced reasonably. They also have a section in the south tower that is non smoking so you can enjoy gambling without the second hand smoke. The customer service seems to be better than Las Vegas. Could be a littler cleaner that is why I did not give them a 5 rating.

Wonderful hotel and casino. Lacking nothing. plenty of restaurants to choose from. 2 great outdoor pools. Like the old pool much better than the new pool. At least you can bring your cooler! Guest services are wonderful. All the workers at the Hotel/casino are super great. Reservations were easy. Room alittle outdated, but it is the oldest on the Laughlin strip. Riverside has a cool vibe about it. Thanks for a wonderful time. Sue Kottom Savage, MN

Rude staff , no drinks offered . Machine repairmen are rude . And incompetent
Casino was chopped up with lots of shops . Not very clean but the staff was horrible

Don laughlin riverside was a very pleasant visit. We have stayed there three times and will return in the fall. If you decide to go there, be sure to bring comfortable shoes. There is a river walk that is very nice. The one improvement would be that they loosen the slot machines. Dont win much there.

Arrived early to see a movie in casino's theater. When you first enter the casino, the smell of cigarettes is rather strong. I think that is because most public places no longer permit smoking. The casino has low ceilings and is very dark. Perhaps because it was in the middle of the week there were few if any young people around.

Theaters are in need of an update. When entering the auditorium, the smell of cleaner or dirty carpeting hits you and after sitting through the movie, the smell is still noticeable. Was not a pleasant experience.

Ate at the buffet for lunch. Nothing really special in the assortment of dishes offered.

Overall, was a little disappointed in my visit to the Riverside. Would rather drive a little further for cleaner theaters and better food. One last FYI, food or drink purchased at any of the restaurants in the casino are not permitted in the theaters. My $3 coffee from Cinnabun had to be tossed to get to my movie on time.

By GUNNY 1/9 |

They need to beef up their help, they are very understaffed. This is a detraction. However there is a lot to do there as they have other attractions such as Bowling, Movies and a wide variety of dining options.

By tracy l |

I got buy one get one free buffet
Won some cash
All in all great place to visit
I love sitting by the window and looking at the Colorado River while we ate lunch BEAUTIFUL

By Jake S |

Like coming to the riverside for the cheap prices but recently booked a room on another site , showed up and wasnt told that I had to pay a resort fee. Its no problem but a fore warning would have been nice, we got a smoking room would have rather had a non but we ended up with a balcony so it was better than expected. Got our players card played a while won some money lost some!! Went and seen a movie was nice having movie theaters more to do in one spot!!
Only real complaint is have is the buffet is never really on point but the waiters are excelent
I'd give the extra star but dang it make the corn bread a little softer!!!

By len750 |

Tons of old, smoking wheel chair driving, rough looking folks everywhere. I wouldn’t change a thing. We’ll be back.

By jaime S |

Late visit on a Friday night , two of us played cards for an hour . Our first dealer was great , friendly and fair. The next dealer was a grump old man that insulted my husband when he asked the dealer to count his hand . Said it's kindergarten math and not his job .... needless to say we left after that . The casino had a younger crowd compared to other neighbour casinos , loser lounge club is just outside card tables ... also has large kids arcade, bowling alley and movie theatre .

By WSargent |

The casino reminds me of old style. Several new games though. I like the non smoking part. Why do Casinos let people smoke? Oh well, we had a good time gambling here.

By Butterflyp58 |

Machines were tight no winning anywhere no waitresses to be seen. Ordered from the bar directly pure soda not a drop of liquor.

By Shannon B |

To make a long 45 minute story short, we stopped by the casino and tried 5 different machines and only 1 worked. The equipment is so old and run down, they do not take care of it anymore. We spoke to an employee who came to get a jammed ticket out of the machine and he explanation was that people like the old machines even if they do not work. He was the most rude ignorant person, I will never return to this dive. We went to another casino, it was clean, got a beer almost immediately and the staff was amazing.

By trmdm5 |

By far the busiest casino we were in. Did not have a good gambling experience. Had a reasonably priced lunch of hotdogs and ice cream. Very large casino

By Edwin R |

This is the largest attraction place in Laughlin. The hotel is Hugh with great services. The Riverside offers around six theatres plus live entertainment. They have a bingo hall, arcades for young or older, big bowling alley, banquet rooms, massage rooms, nail and pedicure, many restaurants and
A Cinnabun
place. A lady sells the best pillows which the hotel uses in all the rooms. They have a great swimming pool and hot tub. A super casino many kiosks of jewelry etc. They allow people to stay in their rv's in the parking lot.
All in all the best best old car displays in other rooms which everyone should visit.
Free shuttles across the Colorado river to the Arizona side.
If wanting to visit Laughlin this is a must place.

By Fred Boyd |

This hotel is very nice. It has a movie theater and a Bowling alley right in the hotel. We've stayed here many times over the years. They also a a store called the Watch Man that sells thousands of watches.

By Wayne Beatty |

THe casino had alot of machines and was very busy. One felt a part of the action and it was good to see people winning.

By Dawn H |

While we visited there were no big jackpots won by us but, the machines and gaming area is kept clean. The non smoking area, although small, still offers enough variety of games to keep you interested.

By jhalt1964 |

Machine were not real loose but had a variety. When we needed a little break from the slots we would go play bingo. Which was reasonably priced.

By Mrwayneray |

Just as soon be in an ashtray. Can’t breathe in this place even though designated Non-Smoking areas. Largely ignored and certainly not enforced.

By Barb D |

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The hallway to our room was pet stained and smelled of urine. The room which was pet friendly was just ok. I liked the laminate flooring but it needing a good mop since it was dirty. Bathroom was clean except for filthy floor. See pictures
Our room was so cold when we returned from the casino after dinner. My 88 year old mom and I were freezing from the air Conditioner we couldn't shut off. Finally at 11 pm we called and they sent someone to fix it and turn on heater. They called for us a blanket but they returned with only one not two like they told us. So we only slept in 1 of the beds to keep warm.
The next morning we were looking forward to a hot shower. NO HOT WATER. I called and they said we had to wait till they arrived at the hotel 2 hours later. We would be on the road by then.
Very disappointing stay. Will Not return.

My husband & I and my son & his girlfriend went to Riverside and stayed for 4 nights. The food was delicious and the servers were efficient, friendly and very helpful. The gaming was a lot of fun. Like to go there a couple times a year.

By NitroDog |

This is where it all began! Very fun casino with both older and new slot machines. All the popular table games in the casino pit. They have live keno, poker room, bingo and smoking and non-smoking sections in the casino. They have dining spots at all price points and many bars and lounges. They have bowling, movies, arcade, car museum and much more. Very friendly staff on this visit. I will return again on my next visit to Laughlin.

By carmech111 |

we have been to Laughlin a lot and stayed at don Laughlin's casino, nice clean place with lots to do.

By Randy M |

buffet is not good, long lines because of too many free coupons. Food was not great, seafood fridaynwas horrible.

By Kay H |

On our last day in Laughlin we took a water taxi up and down the river for most of the day. We chose Riverside for lunch because we heard some of the other guest speaking well of it. We were there for less than 3 hours. The food was mediocre, mine was over cooked and it took forever to get. The coffee cups were never empty and the waitress did apologize about the wait. The restaurant wasn't really crowded, I would say maybe 3/4 full. The portions were huge!

We spent approximately 30 minutes playing the slots. I dropped $200 in that short time on penny slots. It was not a good time.

By Tom C |

This room has good dealers and floor staff. They have live hold em and Omaha games. The poker room has good view of the Colorado river.

By wendellmn |

Dad has always wanted to visit Laughlin and we finally got out there with a package deal. The hotel had packets for us at the airport with our room key, players card, and some general information. view from the room was pleasant, room itself was pretty bare bones, floor seemed like it needed cleaning. cleaning staff always did a very good job with my room and did something no other staff has done, left a reply to my note with the tip I left every day. the casino itself seemed pretty sprawled out and it was difficult to find the machines we were looking for, the slots were tight, but we expected that. the arcade was really fun, lots of variety of games. played bingo once and the bingo hall was set up well. I didn't see a smoke free section, but I didn't look very hard. The packet did not say anything about activating your players card, so we did ours way too late, I was offered a buy one get one free buffet for filling out a survey, dad wasn't but went back and asked about it and got one, need to be more consistent with that, someone just walked to the front of the line too and was quite rude to mom. seemed to be quite a few people who thought they were entitled there, but we didn't let it detract from our trip.

This place is great! The staff is Amazing!
The drinks keep coming unlike some of the other casinos around, Jennifer D. Is a hoot! Very personable, when in the area stop by and tell her hi! Let her know u seen her on TA....

By Frank P |

We took the water taxi to the casino. The casino is in a very good location on the end of the strip of casinos in Laughlin with a good selection of tables and slots. Friendly staff and a great view of the Colorado River make this a good time. Be sure to check out the car collection.

By hobo |

This casino is nice. I just don't ever win here any more and therefore play very little here. I no longer have a players card here. we use the movie house and bowling alley and the bakery located center. The few shops are fun. But I'm there to play mostly.

By frankc0p |

I thought this casino was great except is stank of cigarettes. Maybe a better air filtration system would help. The staff is rather friendly and nice.

By 106Sparky110 |

We flew in out of St Cloud, MN on the air program. What a great deal. We were pleasantly surprised to find an array of newer updated games to play from just a year ago when we last visited. We played more here this time and traveled less and played less at the other casinos on the river walk. I Played the next step above on wagering and I seemed to do better and not spend as much over all. Was I a winner? at Don Laughlin's yes, others no. My biggest win was $150 and change on the Lucky Leprechaun. He actually jumped in the Pot Of Gold and tossed me 11 gold coins with one throw. That was cool. Other lesser wins on other games were enough to keep my head above water. You know what I mean. We'll be back again soon!

By rickbrennanrn |

Mainly spent my time there in the poker room. Casino floor was decent for the time I was there, mostly just passing through. Wasn't too cluttered and/or packed. My wife enjoyed losing on their slot machines. Poker room overlooks the river. Huge windows let in a lot of light. Nice set-up. Comfortable chairs. Drink service was fairly on it too.

By pvrugrats |

Just visited during our stay at Aquarius and the games in the casino paid out nicely. Won back the money we lost at the Aquarius.

By Bernardo F |

It is an older casino, Probably one of the earlier ones here in Laughlin. It's ok, a decent mix of machines, lots of older ones, and the dƩcor is a little dated. Staff was ok, and there was plenty of parking.

By Robert O |

We went to the breakfast buffet. It was very good for the money. It is one of two buffets in Laughlin. Get the rewards card to save a couple of bucks.

By ronnar737 |

The casino is nice for its age. They have newer slot machines in the non smoking area. Lots of table games are also available. Drink service is pretty good. We enjoyed all the days we were there!

By V5005WObarbarac |

Not my favorite casino although the slots were good to me. Too crowded, to difficult to get around and too darned many little shop and tschokes getting in the way. Great views of the river however and the intake people are very friendly. the machines seem a bit older to me. It may appeal to some. I did go to one of the rooms and it was very pleasant with floor to ceiling windows affording beautiful views of the mountains and the river. I found that the same picture fver each bed quite humorous but it is a small detail.

By 656earlenes |

We liked getting buffet discount with player's registration! That was he buffet was good was a bonus

By Brad |

I have been to the riverside alot i really enjoy it my self. There is a few good places to eat and have drinks. The losers lounge is not to bad they get pretty good entertainment in that place all in all the whole place has enough stuff to keep a person pretty occupied. The Free boat ride is a good thing it beats having to find a spot close to the casino.

By Tonya P |

This casino has lots of slots to choose from. BUT we have never had any luck playing here. There are also a few shops to check out.

By NitroDog |

This Casino has everything. The latest slot machines, older machines as well. Shopping, dance clubs, bowling, movie theater, RV park, poker room, very good dining options, keno, bingo and more. This casino is what brought the town of Laughlin to life. I had a very good visit. Thank you for the Auto Collection (free admission with players card). Free parking and free shuttle boats to the Arizona side of the river. Don Laughlin turned a piece of desert on the Colorado River into a resort town. Thank you sir! I added photos of my visit and I will return. I have never seen a casino with so many signs.

By Bryan H |

We love to gamble, and we have many place to go, my top 3 casinos in Laughlin are, Riverside, Harrahs, Tropicana...Riverside is a nice place, the last 3 times we have been at Don's, he has visited with us for about 2-3 minutes...always asking if he can do anything for us!

By Nancy M |

My husband and I have been RVers for years and always looked forward to our stays at the Riverside RV Park and the little perks, such as free hot dogs and buffet breakfasts. Really liked the non smoking addition.

By backsthepack |

We stopped by Laughlin to check it out on our way home from Vegas. This casino was the first one we saw so we stopped. We should have kept driving. First of all, if you are under 70 you will be out of place. Second, it is small, crowded and dirty. Tons of cheesy shops selling junk and even a demo of "My pillow" taking up casino space. We waited in line to get a players card. What a waste. Took forever. Afterwards, you have to spend a minimum of $20 to get your free play, go all of the way back to scan your card to realize you get a whopping $5 in free play...which isn't available unless you throw another $20 into the machine. We stayed maybe 20 minutes and left. Zero reason for us to visit Laughlin to be honest and even less of a reason to visit this casino again.

By Ann S |

Very dirty and dark. Way to many kids and should have no pets. I tripped over a dog while owner was playing a machine and not paying attention to their pet. We bowl at the Riverside twice a year am thinking of staying at a different hotel as many of my friends are already doing that because of these items. Also no phone signal. They really need to invest some money into this place, will soon be known as the "Dump".

By whaddayagonnado |

Living in Laughlin for over a year we have had a chance to experience all of the casinos in the area. Each one has their own atmosphere and feel.
The Riverside is a fine place but it feels like the Casino that ā€œTIMEā€ forgot. No doubt that this town was built from Don Laughlin’s work and Dreams but the inside of the casino still feels like he 70’s. One of the biggest Turn off’s for me is the the smell of the air freshener/ smoke cover they use here. It is unpleasant and strong.
It is Very dark inside almost as if it’s underground. There is complimentary Drink service but it is a bit slow.
There are many amenities here that complete a package that is hard to beat by other casinos in town. Especially if you have children. Bowling, Movie theatre, childcare playland and much more.
We have eaten at the buffet ā€œwindows on the riverā€ several times. It is a low quality buffet but also lower priced. Hit or miss most times. Sometimes pretty good others barely tolerable. But with most casinos it’s less about quality and more about quantity. If your not to picky it’s ok.
All in all it is an ok place. Not the best but ok.

By Blake N |

Buffet was OK, but only OK;
Crab was good, crawdads were good...in fact, most everything was OK, but nothing was even close to great!
Correction...Coffee was great;
Dessert bar was almost non-existent;
View of the river is very nice;
We had a good evening, and nothing was bad;
Service was good and the place is comfortable and well-lit;
We liked it, but will not pay the $$$ for $$ food again;

By Will H |

So let me start by saying I just spent six days and five nights at this resort. It is situated, On the beautiful Colorado River and has many amenities! As the staple Casino and resort of this area, it has all the amenities and is huge! Everything from fine dining to family dining and all activities in between. However, rooms are super outdated as well as many of the parts of the casino. Although the pool I understand has just been remodeled and is fabulous! I wish the rest of the resort will catch up, besides that the only other complaint is the quality of customer service, cocktail waitresses are rude and ignore you and bartenders are very cocky and ignorant. If I wanted to spend my money being insulted I would not. This being said if you’re under the age of 60 this is probably not the spot for you, there were times when me and my girlfriend were the youngest people in the casino LOL. If you’re over 60 this may be your jam it’s super outdated and they even still have payphones!

Loose Slot Machines. Not Over Crowded. Very Friendly Crowd and Casino operators! Fun selections of slots to choose from.

By TravelingAround |

Love their non-smoking section is totally free of any smoke smells - and has the Fatburger! We also like the casino offers so much to do. Of course gambling is prime -lots of slots & tables. But you can watch movies, bowl, swim, play @ the arcade & they have a kids club. Stay at the hotel or RV park. Lots of choices for adults & kids.

By victork493 |

This place is old and tired, with the lowest element in Laughlin. The staff were over-whelmed, not enough help anywhere. The staff were so busy, they couldn't really be customer oriented. The CafƩ had long lines. The Players card, moved slower than a turtle. This was all during a Monday, at a slow time of day. What a dump! ( The Car Museum staff and museum is great! )

By Tom A |

While you are gambling their is a lot of things for the kids to do.
1. Riverside Lanes Bowling Center
2. Classic Car Museum & Sales
3. Riverside Arcades
4. Riverside Cinemas plays First Run Movies, full bar, deluxe reclining cushioned seating
5. Walk-In Photo Booth
6. KID KASTLE with Xbox • WII • IPads • Games • Arcade • Rock Wall, Basketball, Pool Table and Laser Tag
7. USS Riverside Tours a 1 1/2 hour tour of the river

By Pastorchaz |

We got a nice room with a good view but it was not as clean as we would have liked. There was dust under and around the tv and the bath wall at the bottom showed rust stains an didn't appear to be sealed. Wifi is not free and if you drink the water in the room you are supposed to pay for it.

By GARY C |

I spent alittle money here and went to the movies in this casino.. its so hard to navigate and had to ask several people where things were..

By johnbitter |

Knowing that this was the first Casino in Laughlin we were excited to visit and took the River Taxi for a look see. What a disappointment, it is truly the first one and really shows it. It as dark and dingy and I'm sure has never been updated and I'm sorry but it didn't prevented smell good, very dingy.

By kma715 |

Machines are really quite TIGHT, as any other NV casino. good work staff. Buffet was NOT IMPRESSIVE, AT ALL. very limited choices, desert choices WORSE and HIGH PRICE ! Service was good.

By Vlas |

We did not have a room here but we did play in their casino. Overall playing area is pretty decent. Machine choice was good for people who does slots. I enjoyed the craps table.

By NoJoy |

Loved playing the Power Keno games here. The casino was clean, friendly and nice. We ate at the River View and found the food to be good too.

By Jim H |

If you play at this Casino? After a few plays & it doesn't have to be in the Thousands but there is no other Casino that I know of that will fly you in and out for FREE and give you room and board for FREE up to 4 or 5 days. Unbelievable!!! I just want to say there is a lot of competition out there. So? with that said? My opinion? Not all post here are true but I'm sure some are legit. This place is the BEST!!!! Ok, Sure , maybe more expensive artwork can be displayed and Marble floors all around etc.. But? whom do you think will be paying for it? I've left this Casino ahead many of times! Other Casino's close by? They sure look nice as well and their Chandeliers are Beautiful and I'm sure I paid for no question over the years for many of them. Don's casino is fair! You have a fair chance of winning here!!! At least you can bring your family and believe me, their is plenty of things to do. So? I always have enjoyed myself here and If you decide to come to the Riverside? Just know the Staff is awesome and all have a great dedication to their Job & customers! I love the food here and the Management is simply awesome!!! A shout out to Jamie & Katharine that work in the Air Program for the Riverside Casino for doing an OUTSTANDING job on assisting my needs in a very prompted manor! Come to this Casino and feel as if you're with Family!! Yes, again my opinion but many of guest I bring feel the same way!!! Thank you again Don & Matt and Team!!! See you all again soon!!! Cheers!!!

If you prefer the non smoking section, you probably won't find any table's available on a weekend night as there were only two blackjack tables open. The non smoking section seems to be ignored as there was no waitress service (or they never came around). Even the dealer suggested that the patrons go to the smoking area for service.

The casino is old and outdated with low ceilings and a maze to walk through. Pillow and sun glass sales people line the walls like a low end swap meet. If you happen to be staying here, as we did, go next door for a real casino experience.

By DayTrip248227 |

Bingo sucks! They embarrass you and humiliate you. I have payed Bingo before but every place is different. They don’t explain the specifics like where to look for the type of Bingo your playing. I had a double Bingo and yelled BINGO! The rude lady embarrassed me and so did all the people around me! They are rude and if your new at playing Bingo there.....don’t go!

By Peter Morrow |

We always play at the Riverside, we don't expect to win big bucks, but we always enjoy ourselves. The drink servers are frequent, and we always wonder how they remember who ordered what?

By romazzino |

Laughlin is a very interesting place. Certainly not Las Vegas which is nice in many ways. Casinos are in general in need of major upgrades which can be done without loosing their non-Vegas uniqueness. That being said, the Casino at Don Laughlin's I felt was the most vibrant, nicer, cleaner of them all. And, has a great classic car collection exhibit that is a MUST!

By carlotaTravel4fun |

This was our first time staying at the Riverside Resort. We have stayed at other hotel/ casinos in Laughlin, and this was by far the best stay we have had in Laughlin. We typically go to this area to visit family and are not big gamblers, so this review is mainly regarding the rooms and restaurants. Our room was spacious. We had a river view room that had a great view of the river. You may think that is what a river view room is; however, we have stayed at other resorts in Laughlin where that was not the case. The beds were comfortable, and the room was nonsmoking. We stayed in the South Tower which was very quiet. One positive was they have a nonsmoking casino area which happened to be in the area where you take the elevators to the rooms in the South Tower. The difference walking from the smoking section of the casino to the nonsmoking section of the casino was remarkable. I had never paid much attention to the smoke before, but it was very pleasant to walk into this area to get to our room. They have a variety of food choices. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a good choice when visiting the area.

By Nicole P |

This is by far my favorite place to gamble. I see a lot of people complaining that they do not have 'new games',they do, but I actually love the fact that they still keep older games as these are the ones that pay out better!
At times the smoke does get bad, but in my opinion if you are going to gamble in the SMOKING section, then you don't get to complain about the smell. They have a very large non-smoking section that you can play in.
It might be one of the more 'out-dated' casinos on the river, but it is by far the best one to gamble at.

(The cocktail waitresses aren't that great though)

By Tom A |

We went for the Jasen Alden concert and stayed at the Riverside Resort.
Rooms: We stayed in the South Tower where clean well kept. Everything worked and had no issues.
House keeping: Very friendly and efficient.
Casino: Lot of gaming tables, slot machines and drink service was spot on.
Check in and out: Friendly and fast with no issues.
Dinning:
Buffet: Food was fresh and tasty for breakfast and service was great.
Riverview Restaurant: Breakfast and lunch had good variety at reasonable
prices, everything we had was good.
Casa Serrano: Very good and authentic Mexican food and Margaritas.
Service was quick both nights we were there, even with 15
people.
Prime Rib Room on the River: This was my favorite place for dinner. The prime
Rib was fantastic, the salad/potato bar was great, service was
outstanding. Also the Hideaway Martini Lounge had very very
good $7.00 martinis
The Gourmet Room: This was my least favorite place we went to. Food was
just ok and service was slow.

In the process of building a new pool which will be open this year once open they will have about every thing a person could want from a Rv campground to a movie theater a great breakfast and brunch buffet for the price which over looks the beautiful Colorado river A lot of activities going on in outside lot only bad thing I can say about the place is they did away with there cheap margaritas which was just inside the door was a great place to relax have a Quick brake and continue your walk along the beautiful river For the record bar is still there just not the cheap margaritas I and a lot of others miss it By the way if your into sweets they have a little snack stop with good cheap food not the biggest place but the best in Laughlin when you just need something quick

By Saria S |

We loved the fact that this casino thinks of almost everyone. We wanted to gamble but had two teens with us. There is a movie theater upstairs and we were able to send the kids to see a movie while we enjoyed adult fun.

By elpasobuckeye |

Played craps late one night, great fun dealers and pit bosses...my parents played blackjack and liked their dealers too...was here for about 5 hours, would go back if in Laughlin again...in fact, id stay here next time cause of the things kids can do....

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Excellent room rate and inexpensive resort fees. Played Indian style bingo, which was fun. There is a non-smoking area of the casino, so that was appreciated. Lots of dining choices and parking. Overall, it was a good experience.

Took advantage of the free round trip airfare to Laughlin. I recommend dropping a few bucks at the Riverside to get what I think is the best comp on the river... Free round-trip airfare... Harrah's also offers free flights. Not sure about the other casinos. hardly left the Riverside because everything you need is right there. And the new swimming pool is quite an upgrade attracting a lot of new visitors. We tried out the martini bar for the first time on the second floor I highly recommend it cozy and quiet... nice get away from the noisy Casino area. We also made it to the tropicana's new Tap House. It was very nice great service I was the only one who thought the food was just okay everybody else thought it was great.

By Kenda D |

We stopped in to check out the car museum.....gambled $20 buck, lost it just like that!! Older casino but they do have a Fat Tuesdays which has great frozen drinks!!!!!

I enjoy my visit. I would visit again. I recommend you visit there by water taxi. I did not eat there just gamble.

By KJL0823 |

I have asthma and certain smells set it off. As soon as we walked in the door, I knew we would not be there long. Played for a 1/2 hour or so and left. The machines weren't paying either.

Doesn’t matter what you are looking for, this place has it! Huge hotel with clean rooms, huge RV park across the street with shuttle service from RV park to casino. Entertainment Hal, for shows, movie theaters, bowling alley, fun center for kids, lots of places to eat, shopping on the main floor and a classic car collection!! My favorite casino in all of Laughlin!

By Steve S |

The Riverside Hotel has great entertainment, they book many stars that we grow up wanting to meet. Several restaurants to choose from, the Gourmet Room is very elegant and delicious food. We enjoy going to the Theatre to see a movie too, it reminds us of the old theaters we went to as children. The Hotel is a fun place to stay.

By Janice14 |

We arrived here through one of the air/hotel packages. Casino is an older one, and was glad to see that they had some of the newer machines. The casino itself seems pretty dark and can be very smoky at times. They do have a larger non smoking area, but wish they had more of the newer slot machines. I found that I could gamble here a lot longer than most of the other casinos in the area. They have several restaurants to choose from, plus a bowling alley, bingo hall, dance studio, massage parlor, loser's bar, nice poker room. My husband would play in a lot of their tournaments. One bar sells margaritas during the week for $1.25. Drink waitresses seemed to come around quite often, but sometimes it would take awhile to get the drink. It is not a glitzy, glamorous casino, but has plenty to offer.

By Port City Mike |

several floors of slots, and other sorts of gaming. Shops for purchasing souvenirs. Restaurants and plenty of keno games.

By payitfwd71 |

They put a really cool bar at the far end of the casino. That's a great start. Now they need to do everything else. Too many old machines. The place looks rundown. Not a fun place to gamble.

By CampfireJim |

Too smoky. Poor ventilation. Enjoyed the service and gambling but with the poor ventilation I would not return.

By cdb15427 |

A landmark in Laughlin. Some Separation between smoking and non smoking gaming areas. Busy place on a Friday afternoon. Worth a visit.

By elizabethpR1405OB |

We went to see the Righteous Brothers who were fantastic. Good was good as were the people working there. We will go again.

By Debbie G |

This casino has so much to offer. We took in a movie, got show tickets, ate a great buffet and if we would have had time we would have bowled. Definately will spend more time there next time.

By Jackthecable G |

All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and talkative. Did not rush to leave and not answer questions. A lot nicer than Harrah's with newer machines and better decor. New visitors should sign up for the casino's card. Both my wife and I received a 2 for 1 buffet coupon, which made it quite cheap to eat there. Breakfast was better than lunch, in my opinion.

By Virgilia G |

Machines are old, loud but varied in type. Had a good time but the payouts casino-wide seemed few and far between.

By Stephanie McL |

Repeat customer. You can’t go wrong with price. The new pool was fantastic both day and night. The coffee shop is my favorite.

By Jane G |

Ever since they removed the machines that paid out in coins, I've not hit a thing here. No reason to go, now.

By JOSE Q |

this is the winning place everyone should come here.
Their bowling alley and movies are great.
People are friendly and smile a lot.
come to the riverside its good.

By Robert R |

Stayed a few nights with the family. Not much of a casino goer, as we were visiting Lake Mojave and boating. The hotel is a typical dark casino. Everything smells like cigarette smoke, including the non-smoking rooms.

I guess if your there to gamble, it's a decent enough place to sleep between your gambling. That's about all I can say for it.

By Susan D |

Love the riverside never had a bad time there. Everyone is very nice & helpful. They will even get you a refrigerator for your room if you need one

By arizona-mark |

nothing too special here. i think all these casinos all look alike. the prime-rib room is worth the trip here though.

By vietnamvet33 |

The casino had all one could ask for with the exception of Keno, the majority of the employees were friendly, the man at the sports book was very helpful especially since I wasn't sure how to put down a bet on the college football games as it was my first time. But I won on 2 of my three tickets.

By Johnny V |

The wife and I like this casino because we like playing video poker on the nickel slots. The other casinos have very limited nickel video poker however this casino seems to have several. And to make things better the atmosphere is great plenty of security good staff and good overhead music. And the video pokers were near the restroom which made it convenient. You didn't hit big payoffs but we're able to play for several hours on $5.

This resort has everything , if you do not want to go anywhere else this is the place to stay. It has several places to eat ranging in price and tastes. You won't run out of things to do with two pools, a bowling ally, theater, cinema, dance hall, billiards, night club, not to mention all the Vegas style gaming there is including Bingo. They also have a child care center with laser tag, and a paddle boat ,that has short sight seeing tours and a dinner cruise. Also non-denominational Sunday service.

By Claudette C |

This is for casino portion only.
There have a wide variety of slot machines plus poker tables. They have a non smoking area and each area has that same variety.
Lots of food options that are convenient & close to the gaming area.

By Carl H |

My wife and I recently visited the casino for a 4 day stay. Played slots and blackjack. Neither one of us won any of the 4 days. This was the worst casino experience we've ever had as a couple.

By Pat244 |

Great place no matter what your looking for! Hotel, casino, movie theater, bowling alley, bars, shows, steak house and great restaurants! Also a spa, arcade for the kids and a great classic car collection! Could have a great family vacation here plus the great river walk and the Colorado River outside your door!! Would recommend this place to everyone

By NitroDog |

Large casino. Nice sports book, live keno, bingo, new and older slot machines and very friendly staff. Dining options in all price points. Bowling, arcade, movie theater, great bars and lounges and much more. I added 30 photos of my visit. I will return.

If it were not for Don Laughlin and the Riverside, there would be no Laughlin Nevada. Than you Don!

By Marvin C |

Very nice dealers! Casino is nice and clean. No smoke smell in the air! Not all tables are open during the week. They must open them all up on the weekend.

Although we stayed at the Colorado Belle we went to dinner at the Prime Rib room in the Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino. First we had drinks in the Hideaway Martini Lounge which was very intimate and perfect before eating at the Prime Rib room. The Prime Rib was perfect and the sides were great and plentiful. My father treated us for my birthday so I don't know how much it cost, but the food and atmosphere were great. Then we played in the casino for a while. First time playing Roulette and I must say it was a blast. Of course we were winning so....I couldn't find any slot machines that are like the old school ones, which are what I like, so we left after playing roulette.

By advcards |

Went to the lounge it was void of customers but all set up for beer pong games. Nice dance floor and good selection of music.

By gonealot |

The room we stayed in seems to have been partially updated, but still needs work. The blackout curtain on the sliding glass door had gaps everywhere so the result was a room that was bright as day during the night.

The slots were very tight and were like throwing money into trash can. Even making higher bets resulted in $.5 to $.24 return.

The buffet was sub par and not worth the money except the breakfast buffet was good value.

It was nice that there were movie theaters, bowling, riverboat ride, and classic car collection so there were other activities than gambling.

If I ever was to return to Laughlin, I would not stay at the Riverside most likely.

By lowens311 |

We spent a few hours here and had a decent time. The buffet was pretty good, view of the Colorado was the best part for sure. Service was good and fast. They could use some updating in food presentation and the soft serve ice cream was yuck. It was worth it with our bogo coupon.

By Karen S |

The casino has a variety of fun machines to play. Some of the older machines you don't see anymore were still available. Drink service was a little slow but that is not unusual in casinos.

"They made me social distance - FROM MY WIFE!"

This was the funniest and stupidest thing I've ever seen, in my life.

We had no interest in the dirty, run-down casino, but I wanted to see the car museum. So, we had to get a player's card.

We walked up to the player's club guy at the counter and he tells my wife in a really loud voice, "Ma'am. You need to step back. You need to social distance!" We start laughing, thinking he is kidding, but he is not. My wife says, "This is my husband". Guy says, "I don't care, you need to step back 6 feet".

So we start mocking the jerk and he tells us he won't give us player's cards unless we follow his rules, and turns to one of his coworkers in the little booth and says, "Isn't that right, Victoria". And she agrees with him. HA!

Anyway. Victoria was actually helping an older lady and her daughter maybe? Who were not social distancing. WTF?

So, we followed this little D-bags rules, got our players cards, visited the really nice car museum for free, and pitched the cards in the trash on our way out.

PFFFFF! AHAHAAAA!

By Margaret |

We ate at the buffet at lunch time and I didn't think it was very good. The nice part is we sat by the windows that looked out over the Colorado river which we so enjoyed,.

By Janice14 |

We arrived via Sun Country Airlines with a hotel/air package. Casino is dated, but glad to see a larger non smoking section, with more of the newer slot machines. Wished they had paid out better though, and could use more slots in that area. It is not crowded at all, like it is in the smoking areas. One doesn't know how to dress. One section would be so hot, and the next section would be very cold. Cocktail waitresses were hit and miss with the free cocktails while gambling. They do have a decent selection of slot machines throughout the casino. I did do most of gambling here this time. In the past, I did gamble at several different ones. The first couple days were decent gambling, as far as wins or staying even. But the next couple days, took back any winnings and a lot of what I had brought to lose! So, maybe next time I will be a big winner once! The resort offers a spa, bingo room, bowling alley, arcade rooms, outdoor pool, movie theater, several bar areas, several restaurants. It has everything you need for a get away.

***Review for casino only***
The people who visit The Riverside are very loyal die hard patrons who have been visiting this place for years and years and years so this is a much older crowd 60s+. The casino is always crowded. Since the last time we were here I did see a big difference in the casino in that they have removed some video poker and/or reduced the payout (come on....30 coins for a full house!) and to me this casino which was once a lot of fun has become boring! On a positive note they remodeled one bar in the no smoking section which is quite nice and another is currently under construction. Yes everyone smokes in this casino (I mean everyone!) so if smoke bothers you don't go into the casino but they do have a non smoking section which was quite nice. Employees here have changed tremendously. They have very low moral and most of them seem to be so miserable which is why I don't think I will return.

By rebekah s |

everyone made it a wonderful experience.... from the airport they took care of everything with no expectations from you and delivered you and took your luggage to our room too. even coming back they had it all done so easy for us to just grab our purses and just leave and they yet again took care of everything.

By janewills2016 |

My husband enjoyed the classic cars and we just looked around and saw the bowling alley and it was a very popular place with many people playing the machines and tables.

By Jacquie D |

My uncle used to come here all of the time with his wife. I decided to bring him back at age 85. Of course, things have changed. I was disappointed from the moment I checked in.

By lilian d |

Very interesting casino with all kinds of displays, watches, shops, car displays. Very impressed with the dining buffet located at the water's edge. Ate their twice during our stay, the view was magnificent, the buffet was plentiful and reasonably priced.

By Padraic M |

We like coming here very much. A big place. Our room was great (this time). Clean, well cared for. Food in the Riverview was very good.

My only complaint is the Casino games are getging boring. Too many big screened games. Way too many video poker/keno games. Less variety than used to exist here.

The hotel still does not offer free wifi, a problem as cell service seems spotty.

By Tatiana M |

Right on the water with amazing river views, rooms are very clean and quiet so you can sleep good
Losers Lounge if you like to dance and they even have Karaoke... attentive servers chill atmosphere

By KAT4CALIFORNIA |

Lots of smoke, noise and atmosphere. Lots of penny slots. Good comps if you have a card.
Best part are the other activities there, movies, old cars, the watch store and the Loser's Lounge.

By Xebronite |

If you don't have a car, this place is pretty isolated. There is no shopping within walking distance other than a warehouse outlet mall that seems to have more empty stores than occupied - mostly clothing, souvenirs and a chocolate shop. I had to take a taxi into Bullhead's Walmart when I had to get something I forgot. The taxi ride in cost $25 and return was only $16!

I don't gamble - I go to see some of the headliners at the showroom - very nice small showroom and top names.

Very nice old car collection to see.

Difficult to find your way around in the casino, even with a map (which has a few confusing areas and got me lost many times). Took almost three days before I could find my way around the floor comfortably, and another day this year to learn how to get to the showroom from my room without having to go through the casino.

Will return if they keep getting my favorite entertainers.

By Kenneth B |

Quite busy while we were there, which is good depending where you are (big food line ups). Good atmosphere but too smokey around the "table games" for me to participatte (craps) so had to go elsewhere.

By Estaletta J |

A lot of good entertainment though out the year! Want to bowl there is a 34 lane bowling alley. As for the casino it is old but still has some good machines.

By averyfamily3 |

The people who work in Bingo are always so nice always have a smile and a nice word. Mark and Julie are always very considerate. The bingo room is very spread out and you can hear the caller clearly. I always enjoy playing bingo here.

My prime rib was really pink inside when I asked for a prime rib that was medium well done. They took it away and brought me two slices of meat that were not from the same slice and it was tough. I ssked for another piece that was from just one slice of prime rib and medium well done and after twenty minutes they brought me a over cooked slice of prime rib. This was on yesterday November 9, 2016. I had finished all of my other foods prior to getting the over cooked slice of prime rib. My lady friends slice of prime rib was so red and pink that it turned her off from eating any prime rib or any other entre so she didn't have one. The staff did not offer any refund at all. So I'm just warning others to be aware of what your getting into here for Prime Rib if you don't like a bloody pink cut of Prime Rib.

By ki0ki |

Brought an RV and stayed across the river in Bullhead City. A free water taxi took us back and forth to the Riverside Casino. Nice selection of slots and tables. Non smoking section of slots was great. Good variety of places to eat. I will definitely be coming back.

The Celebrity Room, where Concerts are held. They have great shows, but the sound system sucks. You can't hear the singing clear and precise. Microphones are terrible. We pay good money to see these entertainers, but the sound is atrocious! They are bringing plenty of money in as you can't win on their Machines. So the least they could do is provide a great sound system.

By Chris H |

After dinner at The Prime Rib Room, we saw Neil Diamond - The Tribute featuring Rob Garrett in the newly remodeled Celebrity Theatre. There is a flat floor and then stadium style seating at the back, the room was maybe 50% full. The room holds maybe 700 at narrow tables and fairly comfortable folding chairs. We were excited to have seats in the first row.

The performer was good, he has really worked hard to capture the Neil Diamond sound, style and look. We enjoyed his performance, the backing band was excellent.

Unfortunately, the sound system was poor. The first row seats were not in the sound mix footprint of the room, so we actually had trouble hearing, especially the vocals. Some members of our group got up and moved farther back, where the sound was much better. It was pretty distracting, we should have moved too, but we felt like moving would be disrespectful to the performer.

The wine was cheap and it tasted like it, plus a bucket with three small water bottles is $5.

I would go again, but definitely not sit down front.

Great place to play Bingo.. prices are reasonable and the staff is attentive to your needs. I have played at other casinos but love this one the most. It’s where all the locales gošŸ‘šŸ¼

By SouthernV |

We lived this casino. There were many different slot machines and even an old one by the door that takes quarters. However, it does take your quarters every so often and doesn't give you a spin...but it was still fun. They have a great variety of table games and they are all hand dealt games. The large Windows by the table game section were really nice and offer you a beautiful view of the river. The dealers were very nice and the parking here isn't bad. It was also a nice break from the casino to the two showrooms of old cars. If you have a players card the admission is free...if not it's only $2 and we'll worth that to see everything. There's also pool table and darts if you're not into slots or poker.

By Beatrice S |

Took my spouse for his 1st visit. Old style vibe, he liked it and will come back again. Staff very friendly, comfortable setting.

By John B |

Hasn’t been updated in years. But they did finally finish the new pool on the small side though. Ate at the brunch buffet twice first day it was ok but the second day it was bad. Best Buy in the casino is a little snack bar where you can get some cheap good deserts But I still miss there dollar and a half margaritas was a big crowd favorite. But profits always come first bottom line always ahead of customer satisfaction

By flossypayton72@gmail.com |

This place is so racist! We held a family reunion there (3 days to be exact), we went to the buffet only to be called "THESE PEOPLE" over and over again by the employees. And to make matters worse, an employee at our banquet dinner said, "oh no you little N---GER B!!!!$, don't come near me with those latex gloves, I'm allergic". Of course words were exchanged because of the statement. When it was all done, we had to be escorted in a service elevator to gather the banquets belongings so that we wouldn't run into the employee that still works there. Needless to say, we all left a day early. All 68 of us. And that was the Cherry on top, because we experienced these shenanigans for the entirety of our trip. If you're not Caucasian, please please please don't go there.

Great casino with friendly people. Go to casino on both sides of highway. Don Laughlin lives on top floor of casino and lots of cool memorabilia throughout casino to see. Definitely walk through entire casino.
