Awesome

By John3289 |

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere. The menu has changed over the past year due to the Covid however its still one of my favorites. I love their coleslaw, they have the best fries, their spinach dip is pretty good and the rotisserie chicken is also pretty good. Very moist. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.

Nice renovation

Lots of shopping/food

By Heather M |

Fun lots of shopping and food options. Great Dining. Parking at parking garage avail for a fee, and vould be free if you spend $50. Street parking hard to find, also offer valet parking for $12.

Great place !

By nabeab |

Open place, you need to walk outside, it was really hot when we visited but we had a good time, many restaurants to choose from and coffe shops, ice cream, etc
Many nice shops like H&M, Pink, etc

Under construction

By BrooklineBob |

This was a return visit for us after about five years. In the interim it seems like some of the retail shops closed and were replaced with restaurants- which are quite plentiful. At the time of our visit the streets were all torn up and undergoing some kind of repair. This no doubt undermined the overall all experience. Nonetheless, the management did what they could to compensate with a live (excellent) band playing rock/holiday music. But with more restaurants than stores, the window shopping was limited. We ate at Ill Bellagio, which was excellent (thonservice lagged some). We walked around the place a few times for exercise but there simply werent all that many shops.

Must stop in PBI

By BBB |

Beautiful, small, intimate area with cute shops, must stop while in PBI. Very pleasant lively environment with many choices to eat.

lots to experience

By cfb410 |

i don’t think i have seen such a variety of restaurants in one place....from Asian to Middle Eastern, Italian etc....
In addition, there are other sites like shopping and spending time looking at boats at a local marina; both can be arrived at by a free shuttle; however, parking is not free.

Excellent restaurant, best cakes

By Adi Coco |

It is a pretty crowded restaurant, I had to wait about 30 minutes just to be seated, but definitely worthed.

Celebrated New Year's Eve

By Norberto N |

Went there with the family and friends to celebrate the new year celebration .It was packed with many people. There are many restaurants and bars where a person can got to eat and celebrate. they also have fireworks at midnight to count down the new year.

It is okay.

By Seachelle617 |

It is not one of my favorite things to do, we usually only go to a restaurant and leave. It does have a lot of shops, restaurants and a movie theater. As a local, I have places closer. Plus I feel it is overpriced. It is nice stroll for out of town guest. Just as lxong as you warn them about being aware of your surroundings. There have been a lot of robberies in the parking garage in the past. I usually valet park.

Anniversary Getaway

By kelia04 |

Nice atmosphere and we felt really safe place to walk around and sit outside at night. Plenty of shops and restaurants

👍🏽

By nataliecristinah |

If you are visiting WPB you have to go here. Also great for locals, or locals who are showing friends the area. Beautiful, fun area full of lively restaurants, stores, theaters, concerts (sometimes), etc.

A Christmas Season must

By dtm17 |

Bands playing, snow falling, families enjoying the season. This is a special place to enjoy some gelato as you people watch, shop the boutiques, and listen to local musicians. Just a fun place to be during December.

Nice for a stroll

By Crystal |

If you’re in the area, definitely take a walk in Rosemary Square. I had been here before and during the construction as well and it is almost a totally different place now. I know not everyone is appreciative of the changes, but I for one think it’s quite a happy place!

I am not a parent, but I would warn parents that there is an open splash pad, so if you don’t want your kid to get wet, be prepared for them to whine about it. I myself as a 30-something year old person was a little tempted to run through.

The tree art installation is a must-see as well! Very cool!

In general, the businesses and architecture of the area is visually appealing. You don’t want to visit this area and not at least take a stroll through!

Perfect for Tourist

By Susan L |

City Place has a good assortment of restaurants & retail stores to fit any budget. The area is very walkable & we felt very safe on each of our visits. This is a great destination for anyone unfamiliar with the city.......you can park your car & explore this vibrant area.

By Robert C |

Pleasant surprise close to hotel

By Jim H |

A very nice venue of upscale restaurants, shops and cultural attractions. Nice to wander around and see the grassy meeting area in the middle of the complex. Cars could drive through middle of the site, but respectful of pedestrian walkways.

Ok place for one evening of your trip to West Palm Beach

By OneMomSaysItAll |

Generic shopping/eating center. Same kind of place you can find in any US city. Mostly restaurants and bars. Parking is free for 80 minutes and then gets pricey for what is offered in the center. It's an ok place to visit one evening of your trip for a meal (I suggest Happy Hour timing) and an after dinner stroll. It has a variety of restaurants, all of which are more expensive than other places in WPB, typical tourist prices.

We only went once in our two week WPB vacation if that tells you anything about it.

Under construction

By Jacquie P |

This will eventually be a beautiful combination of shopping and eating establishments all arranged in a few square blocks. Easy access. Probably should be pedestrian only and hopefully will be in the future. Good place to wander, people watch, shop, grab a snack or a gourmet meal. Appreciate the architecture and layout. Nice concept. I would give it more stars if it weren't under construction which makes it difficult for the elderly who must walk further than normal to access escalators and stairs. Check it out!

Everything you could need

By Bowmanator22 |

CityPlace is an excellent upscale shopping center in the heart of West Palm. They have a parking garage, so you shouldn’t have to worry about parking. Great restaurant options, and plenty of great shops makes this a great all-weather activity.

Nice Place, Will Be Great Once Construction Is Completed!

By MJ1 |

Nice place and will be great once construction is completed! Almost all of the commercial space for stores and restaurants are full and the shops are open during construction. There is shopping of all kinds, many different restaurants, night life, and a fitness center just to mention a few. It's a mixed use improvement/development in the heart of downtown and close to many other stores, restaurants and parking. If you live there even better! Also just steps from major roads to get you where you are coming from or going to.

Beautiful

By kmcolorado1 |

If you get a chance to visit city place I would highly recommend it. This is a fantastic place to being a date.

Nice area close to convention center

By Douglas H |

Walked around City Place while attending event at Palm Beach County convention center. There are a lot of stores and restaurants to choose from here and it has some interesting architecture. I wish I would have had a little more time to visit more of the stores.

A fun afternoon at CitiPlace

By marie s |

What a great place to spend the afternoon. This area of West Palm Beach is strolling heaven. We spent the afternoon going from shop to shop, stopping to buy in a few of them. After watching the dancing fountains for awhile we decided to have a bite to eat ay Il Bellagio. Great place. There was dancing to a band this day near the fountains. Lots of children, families and people gathered to listen and dance. Lots of fun.

Great Place To Be!!!

By cheryldT546WL |

I love going to the City Place!! It is such a fun spot to eat, shop or just hang out. It is a beautiful tropical place to visit. You will truly enjoy spending an evening there. Be sure and visit Sloans Ice cream store!!! So So good!!!

Not impressed at all...

By Charleen_12 |

We had a rainy afternoon during our trip last week and figured it was a good day to go shopping - There were a lot of empty stores, it was not at all crowded...It looks so impressive in the pictures on line and was just the opposite! Glad we went and now we won't waste our time going back when we are in the area again.

Nice hangout

By Dream826517 |

Lots of nice shops and restaurants and even play fountain for kids. Had dinner at the Galley (inside Hilton). Great atmosphere and decent food

So much fun and lovely place to visit!

By Sylvia DrSoul Fernandez |

This place was so well thought! We really enjoy d walking around and then eating at Il Bellagio! There was live music right across the Christmas Tree! We had so much fun and there are many stores to do window shopping or take a look at and Buy stuff! We really enjoyed our time here!

Date spot

By Marina M |

Cute corner with parking garage. Handful of nice restaurants and a movie theater. Not much in the way of shopping.

Vacation

By Boblap12@yahoo.ca |

City Place is must to see while in West Palm Beach ! Very nice and good restaurants also . Nice stores to shop.

Lovely grounds!

By Helen C |

We went early and parked a few blocks away. The buildings are beautiful and there are people just enjoying the grounds early in the morning.

Cool Place

By June B |

Interesting place to stroll around.
Plenty of places to choose from for lunch or dinner. Good people watching spot

Sleepy shopping center, great movie theater

By Jinbean732 |

This shopping center has everything you are looking for. I specifically went to the movies and the theater was fantastic.

Good place for a night out

By Nelson |

The new renovations are almost complete. It a nice place specially in the winter when the weather is nice.

Movie & dinner

By dznlady |

Nice place in the evening, usually live music on plaza, nice shops, we like to eat at Brio, beautiful movie theatre.

Awesome place! Strongly recommend!

By Janin E |

Beautiful location filled with small shops and places to eat. Houses a grand Cinebistro with exceptional service. Parking does come at a cost but isn't expensive. Great place to go on a weekend or evening!

Under Construction

By LWL3333 |

A few nights ago my wife and I and another couple had dinner at one of the restaurants at City Place, but there was not much more to see but construction zones. The fountains have been dug up and the underground pipes are exposed. Unless you simply love construction, I would recommend waiting to visit until the work has concluded.

Macy's closed

By William |

I went to go to Macys it had closed and now in this wonderful retail space they are building low income apartments. It's very disappointing. Noone I know wants to go there any more.

Most of the Square is under reconstruction.

By Where-2-go-4-help |

It's September 25 2019. It will be better to visit after they finish the reconstruction. Most of the lower level restaurants and stores are closed due to the reconstruction. They removed the fountain and stage.

CityPlace West Palm Beach

By debbieken922 |

This place is huge. It has numerous restaurants, coffe shops, Publix grocery store, clothing stores, card store, and an AMC movie theater. There is construction going on within the complex. Don’t be discouraged if you want to turn down a street to park and can’t. There are many different ways to get into the parking complex. You have to follow the detour signs. The cost of parking does add quite a bit to your overall expenses when at these establishments. You can walk from several hotels? Including The Hiatt Place downtown on Olive Street.

Ew! Rosemary Square is so very not City Place

By princess-fiona |

Ew! Rosemary Square is so very not City Place

Today was supposed to be a joyful day, the Broadway musical “In the Heights” released its film version and it was my first time back in side a cinema, much less a theater. I felt like I responsibly went early enough to be able to keep my distance, wipe down the seats, and settle-in before the show began, As any responsible “theater goer” with you.

Myyy goodness, however! This Rosemary Square change is quite A different experience than City Place ever was.
•ONLY the Down escalators worked
•NONE of the elevators worked
• we can no longer validate our parking inside the movie theater. Instead, we have to walk all the way over to the other side underneath the escalators, that did not work, in order to find the little parking attendant window in a dark, quasi-lit location.
• ironically, the “five dollars for all day parking on Saturday and Sunday,“ it’s not only tax, but a “convenience fee“. And let me be clear, there is no other method to pay for parking, so I’m not entirely sure what was convenient that I was paying extra for.
•The touch-free kiosks outside AMC Did not work and, as such, force people into such tight small spaces in order to all access their ticket purchases at the same desk as were check-in was.
• where is my square just seems to have very many other priorities than City Place dead. The issue, is that none of those free appropriations of conveniences seem to be convenient for the *guests.*

The image I have included with this post is of a restroom inside the AMC cinema. That’s right, no way to wash hands during a pandemic as they have lessened the number of available restrooms.
Wait for improvements.

Fun Spot Downtown

By David P |

There is something for everyone from dining, shopping and movies. Safe walking after you park either by valet or one of the many garages in the area.

Construction

By swtont |

When we visited there was a ton of construction at the shops. It was inconvenient but if worth it for the variety of restaurants and shops. It was a great way to spend a few hours.

City Place

By ali1987 |

Nice place to shop around. Our hotel's shuttle bus dropped us off here. We came here regularly. Lots of stores. Nice scenery.

Great Outing

By EatTravelLive |

Great place with tons of options of things to do and places to eat. All outdoor, nicely decorated, fountains, huge stage with live music
Music, movie theatre, shopping

Very nice and clean..lots of shops and dining choices...

By David D |

This is a cool place and has everything you would need (dining, entertainment, hotels, specialty shops and even a residential portion as well). The grounds are quite clean, and very well tended...and the walkways of specialty pavers have cool designs too. When we visited, they were improving portions of the parking garage, and adding several additional blocks of mixed-use development (Short term inconvenience for long-term benefit). This area is absolutely worth stopping to experience, if you are in the area...within minutes of the airport, and downtown West Palm.

Vanished Face, aka CITY PLACE

By FellowTraveler715346 |

The best of City Place has been erased and replaced as "Rosemary Square" - not fair! In fact, its actually a kommerce killer. A popular eatery and anchor in the plaza, Panera Bread, was priced out and now gone--a Mad marketing strategy that's re-branded a site famously known as City Place for almost 20 years, as this new Rosemary Square...a confused misnomer likely fueled by vanity OR change whether it makes sense or not. Some labels stand the test of time -- if it ain;t broke, Why? The reconstructed space is now a shadowy rain forest graced by excess palm trees & shrubs, water sprays, and a fake LED lit Banyon tree dubbed The Wishing Tree. It was the Holiday Season after all, and I expected to see a traditional Christmas tree. No luck; my wish did not come true. The water spray attraction comes with a list of cautions, so keep an eye on your kids. The previous entertainment podium for music bands that enlivened the area and brought people together sacrificed and removed in place of water sprays that have a much larger footprint than the original venue. So, it seems co-existence was not part of this project. Yet, the new motto, Life is full at Rosemary Square must refer to more trees and nothing else aside from food and drinking plus some stalwart retailers. Here the theme is false and flat at what was and always will be CITY PLACE!

lovely place

By Lara Rodrigues |

great place to walk, sit with friends, have a icecream, so beautiful and fun! I can't wait to go back there!

Walk through

By Diana T |

Lovely atmosphere in West Palm Beach. Lovely place and well worth a walk through... plenty of good eateries and a short drive away from numerous great sites such as the Norton Museum of Art and downtown Clematis street.

Fun Fun Fun

By Christine W |

City place has everything. On a rainy day we ate outside under cover then went to a movie. On a sunny day we met the Diva Duck tour there and then went shopping. There is always something to do at City Place.

Hang out

By paws0810 |

Always fun to hang out at city place. Watching the sights. Nice weather for out family outing. There are lots of eateries and even a bowling alley

Night time fun

By Vincenzo |

Live entertainment Friday / Saturday night. Check their website for events calendar. Many restaurants to choose from, some with dining al fresco. Great way to unwind, have a gelato and enjoy live music under the stars.

Tour of City Place

By Dr. Debbie M |

Great place with beautiful beachfront. It’s clean and classy. Great shops, great food, great local theatre, and great people.

There is something for the entire family to enjoy. The trolley is quick and free and provides a tour through the city.

Excellent Experience

By Matthew W |

I honestly prefer going to CityPlace over Clematis street! That's because it has much more of a homey vibe to it and it has a lot more options as to things to do!
It's a great place to people watch as well.
I found myself at CityPlace every week/weekend while attending PBA.
I have a lot of fond memories in this place and advise you to make some fond memories for yourself! :)

Nice attractions

By Bob4Bob |

City center is a very walkable place that has several family entertainment options. There are a variety of activities and food options. We walked from our hotel so I'm not sure about parking. More activities are under construction. Food options vary from fast foods to set down meals. Younger to older crowds should find things to do. There is some shops that provide nice bargains and eclectic flares.
I'm not sure what is under construction.

Nice for a stroll and dinner

By Nelle S |

City Place is a nice place to walk around. Shopping isn’t as good as it used to be. Retail stores can’t seem to make it. Several good restaurants also couldn’t make it there. Hard to see your favorite places leave. Still, it is worth seeing if you are in West Palm Beach.

Nice center for restaurants and shopping

By Geri G |

While visiting West Palm Beach we were recommended Rosemary Square for lunch. It was such a nice surprise. Parking was easy to find and abundant. There was a great selection of restaurants to enjoy throughout the center. Cute shops located throughout. Seemed family friendly as well. There were security guards located in various areas which made the center seem secure.

I presume that due to Covid-19 there were a few empty storefronts but I would still recommend this pleasant plaza to anyone looking for something to do while visiting West Palm Beach. Great find!

Summer

By Celinel C |

I would not recommend going at this time because its going throught some renovations, otherwise best gelato in 4D.

Always a fun time!

By Bobby P |

CityPlace is a staple for locals and tourists alike. Food, entertainment and shopping all in the same location. And easily within walking distance of Clematis and the rest of downtown and the many restaurants and drinking establishments.

Nothing to see here!

By marilynwebb42 |

There is mostly restaurants here, shops are mall quality. H&M and Lululemon nothing special or out of the ordinary. Construction everywhere!

one time ...was good now ?

By LartistUSA |

The city of WPB try hard to make happen but in the old wrong direction . paint building closed as Macy's paint the walls as kids color and motif and call art is wrong, Try to be as NEW YORK style exhibition / installation is again wrong because 99.5% of the peoples don't care and don't understand art. Now the restaurant and other place closed day to day because the rent is way to much I think , corporation and other landlord need to adjust to the market to make the city beautiful and full of live is not ,,,,Well the city place be dead in couple years. To bad

What’s there not to love?

By TriniRose |

Such a picturesque plaza with all the essentials! Great food and drink options (Burgerfi -my FAV!!!!, Panera, Jamba Juice, Cheesecake Factory & many many more (great brunch choices as well), AMC cinema, decent shopping options like H&M, VS & Sephora! Not to mention how wonderfully clean this plaza is! Feels completely safe, no rowdy crowds, WiFi options from some of the stores but not the plaza itself which should make it lose a ⭐️ of the rating but everything else is really so wonderfully done, it makes up for it. Some days I used Uber to get there because there is a hefty parking fee but if you do use the paid parking, it is in a convenient spot. If you’re there for a movie, you do get 3 complimentary hours of parking which is absolutely commendable! There are limited parking spaces along the streets of the plaza but have to be super lucky to get one. Once you’re in West Palm, it is definitely a place worth checking out. It also comes alive in the night!

Needs help...

By tymetraveler222 |

This area still seems to be trying to find itself. It used to be so much busier, with visitors and businesses alike. I missed Charming Charlie's! There are some nice restaurants, art galleries, but few clothing stores. Hopefully it will come back to its former glory. Parking ramps nearby.

Dog friendly but no grass

By Robert F |

We like to visit City Place for the restaurants & shopping. It is a great place to take your dog. However, we couldn't find any grass for our dog - not even on the way to the parking garae.

Family visit during art show

By JBLocal |

My sister's family of eight came to visit on vacation from Michigan. Decided to have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory also very good and check out the art show lots of restaurants and activities in the area 4 nice parking garages although not cheap. It is a destination for locals so if you're in the area just visiting check it out.

Great location for Christmas decorations

By Sunshineldy |

Enjoy the people, enjoy the site, enjoy the season. Many changes new businesses lots to do. Very festive

Quaint but expensive

By Eugene S |

Have been here several times to shop and eat. Has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Seems high end shopping though. Great place to go if you either work or live in the area. Most people living close own expensive condo's as this area is close to waterfront. Parking is expensive in the local parking garages. The only attraction I have seen was the Duck Boat tour which leaves from the heart of City Place. Too many good restaurants shops in other areas within 5-7 miles that offer free parking.

A must stop at any time

By Maria M |

A lot to do for a nice experience during daytime or at night. Good restaurants, ice cream parlors, beer, burgers, movie theater and few clothing stores boutique style. Easy parking not expensive. You can find a trolley stop at the square. Is free and with a very nice route,
At night an awesome tree change color and you can enjoy music and the beautiful fountain at the center of the square.

Great Place to spend a day shopping and dining

By j s |

Cityplace is similar to an outdoor mall, but has the feel of a boardwalk. Perfectly placed and a stones throw from Clemantis St, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a day of shopping and food.

A little of everything

By Michelangelo V |

Name should be changed to “ love this place” great restaurants, shopping, entertainment even condos to buy. West Palm Beach has free trolleys that will bring you to the heart of City Place

Loving the vibe at Citiplace

By Phylzone |

There is always something new. So many restaurants to try and then after dinner stroll thru the stores or take in a movie. My favorite place is Brio!

OLD CITYPLACE IS NOW ROSEMARY SQUARE

By DoloresJacoby.Let’sTravel.98368 |

After not having visited for three years, I was astounded at all the changes. Streets are paved in white and gray brick, new stores and cafes. And old familiar ones and the movie theater were great to revisit. Highlights included Restoration Hardware and Anushka Soa. Publix’s shopping is available and so many restaurants are open. I really enjoyed my walk. Parking by valet or in one of the parking garages.

Fun night with our kids!

By The Candice |

Enjoyed shopping, dining and bowling at this beautiful outside mall-like area which was a short walk from our hotel.

Interesting to see, not much as far as shopping

By Veronnica T |

There is s free trolley that you can take around this area to see it. The art on the buildings, the old and new architecture, colorful people are what you will see. Not much for shopping unless you vape. The public down here is insanely busy. A guy was attacked outside a gym while we were in the area. Interesting area with lots of open air bars and food places. I wouldn’t go back because there wasn’t much there to see or places to shop.

Cool place - will be better after the construction is done

By Terrijordan042 |

Parking was easy - we parked in one of the garages - cost was $5.00 we were there about 2 hours. There is free parking around you just have to look for it. We went there for dinner around 6:30 they have happy hour prices till 7. We were there on a Wednesday night. I am not sure if happy hour is every night. There is a movie theater and several places to eat and shop. I think once all the construction is done it will be a fun place to go

Fun place

By NguyenMcCombe |

Many shops and restaurant to choose. It has movie theater and bars with live music. The place is nice, clean and safe to walk around for shopping or sightseeing etc... I believe they have free shuttle bus to go around the city. Good entertaiment area.

Very Nice Place to hangout!

By WeWannaGoTooo |

Went to the comedy club there. It was a very fun place to hangout before and after the show. Free live band, lots of restaurants, shopping, bars, and nightlife. Very nice and upscale. Family friendly too.

Enjoyable Area

By Brad Gabriel |

Nice casual shopping and dining area. Was across from our Stay at the Hilton Hotel so easy to walk to. Very nice choice of food from quick to nice dining. Movie theater, grocery store, bars, Improv.

2017 Christmas vacation where palm trees are decorated

By Jeffrey L |

Visited with Florida family and met some new ones too. Little Jose was celebrating his 14th birthday. So together the plan was to see CityPlace in WPB. We parked at a meter and walked to meet everyone. it was "Worth" the walk. Everything is built so big and decorated for movie stars.
Walked by the Dreyfoos School of Arts on route to bowl. The bowling alley had VIP lanes (not for us) and a lockers (one listed TIGER WOODS!). Tiger woods hangs out here! Also cool place to watch "the game".
After bowling Jose chose to see a movie instead of driving to free comic book day. We all agreed to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It was amazing. More amazing was the decor of AMC 20. Painted, fully trimmed, and a grand staircase. You definitely feel like royalty in here and exactly as the movies depict.

Fun place

By Love2travel |

Open air shops to browse, and shop. Just a fun filled atmosphere with ample restaurants and a movie theater. The parking is tricky your first time there. Would love to return.

Great Place to Play, Shop & Eat!

By BeachesandScreen |

Great restaurants, shops, movie theatre and nightlife!

Head over for date night, family night or a solo trip!

Amazing Downtown

By W8LT3R |

Rosemary Square indoor-outdoor mall in downtown West Palm Beach is the center for everything – restaurants, shops and entertainment. Great spot to walk around and explore but there are also plenty of shaded tables with chairs for those who just want to rest, chat or people watch in very pleasant surroundings. You know your in the right place by the colorful gray/white patterned brickwork on their sidewalks and streets and tall tropical palm trees overhead. Rosemary Square is a two story mall complex with a series of stairs and escalators providing access to more restaurants, shops and entertainment on its upper level.

We visited Rosemary Square on a Sunday afternoon. We parked at the Hibiscus Garage (545 Hibiscus Street) which charges just $5/day to park on weekends. (I believe all Rosemary Square Garages are $5/day on weekends.) Then we walked to the intersection of Hibiscus Street and South Rosemary Avenue, and continued walking south on South Rosemary into the heart of Rosemary Square.

Here we stopped at the very colorful Sloan's Ice cream shop. Sloan's is renowned for its homemade ice cream, candies and chocolates. When you walk inside it is wall to wall candy and toys with a counter serving ice cream in cones and cups. We bought ice cream which was perfect on this hot day and wandered back to the street to sit at a shaded table to listen to a street performer playing his guitar. This is the perfect stop to enjoy the festive environment of the open air portion of the mall. We took several candid photos of the square and of each other.

Then we began to explore the stores. The Garden Store which sells potted tropical plants. Destination Palm Beach which sells touristy items like T shirts and cups with Palm Beach stenciled on them. We purchased a nice Palm Beach sweat shirt as a gift for our granddaughter. We continued down South Rosemary Street toward IL Bellagio's Italian Restaurant. This is an attractive restaurant designed to look like an authentic Italian piazza. In the court yard in front of IL Bellagio's is a children water spray park. We saw many children in bathing suits running thorough the streams of water as it ejected from the sidewalk. Ideal spot for families with small kids.

Near the water spray we found a huge escalator. Behind that escalator is the Guest Service Office (offering Gift Cards, managing Lost and Found, etc), bathrooms and another walk-in entrance to the Hibiscus Parking Garage. Well hidden directly behind the escalator is an artsy flower wall. Great spot for taking candid photos of your visit. In fact as we wandered through the mall we spotted a number of hidden gems for photos. There is a wall painting of Audrey Hepburn in a stairwell of the Hibiscus Garage. There is a block long plant covered archway you can walk through and take photos between the Lululemon and Tommy Bahama shops on South Rosemary Street. There is a large water fountain on the corner of Hibiscus Street and South Rosemary Avenue.

We continue to walk aimlessly through other streets of Rosemary Square and spotted one of the free Trolleys that travel through the streets of Rosemary Square. After walking for a hour we returned to our earlier spot near the street performer and sat and enjoyed the music and festive atmosphere.

We wanted to have dinner in Rosemary Square and found there were numerous restaurants to choose from. We considered the IL Belagio's Italian, Saito Japanese Steakhouse, City Cellar Wine Bar and Grill, Brio Tuscan Grill and Cheesecake Factory. We walked north on South Rosemary Avenue and stopped into Brio Tuscan Grill. We were seated in Brio's but were disappointed that they had a limited menu from their pre-Covid days. So we walked across the street to the Cheesecake Factory and had a nice dinner there to finish off our visit to Rosemary Square.

There were so many things we could have done at Rosemary Square but we only had one day to visit. There is an AMC movie theater, Improv Comedy Center, Harriet Himmel Theater, Kravis Center for Performing Arts, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Starbucks and free Trolleys that would take us to other parts of Rosemary Square, including the Yellow Line Trolley that will take you down Clementz Street just north of Rosemary Square where there are even more stores, restaurants, and entertainment to explore.

Relaxing Oasis

By breezyandkim |

After 3 collage campus tours our hotel clerk mentioned it to us. We went to dinner at the Mellow Mushroom at the tip of city walk and then after dinner followed the music down the street into the heart of City Place. We stopped into a couple of stores but mostly stood or danced to the live bands playing. We went 2 nights in a row. They had a different band playing both nights and both were very good. Loved the lights on all the trees. It is a fun, relaxing, family evening under the stars

Dissapointing

Its basically putting lipstick on a pig ......its just city place with lipstick ......I mean you put in some pavers .....etc ....etc .....some bits and bobs ........but its still city place over priced ....parking ....usual suspects .....even less vendors ......you can polish a turd .....but its still a turd......its just city place ......change the name to some foo foo dumb name but the place is still crap .......but if you are easily pleased like most Floridians ....then its for you .....

Magic winter tree experience.

By SOValeriu |

Great place, nice shopping and cuisine.
At the Cheese Factory I had the cheesecake of my life: The Godiva is FABULOUS.
But the attraction of the season is the tree that is lit With christmas music AND at certain times it also rains (artificial snow, yet the feeling is WOW!

Nice shopping/restaurant area — clean, a lot of shops and restaurants... pretty setup!

By Amy Travels |

Walked up and down the streets a few times during my business trip — ate at three restaurants and visited the Publix deli/grocery store. Everything is close by, no need to drive from one shop to the next.

Fun

By Carl Mahoney |

City place is a nice area in downtown West Palm Beach lots of good restaurants all kinds of food BBQ and everything lots of stores movie theatre everything you need in one place

Best Place to shop, dine or have drinks!

By Margaret D |

I go to City Place whenever I am in WPB. It is so safe down there and you have many places to dine or get entertained. The trolley is awesome and you can go anywhere downtown for free!

Nice place

By Purnesh S |

It is a nice place with lot of restaurants and places to shop , it has a good crowd during the holiday season.

A great downtown

By Katelyn C |

Every time we go to WPB we are sure to walk around CityPlace. It’s such a beautiful place to stroll. Tons of shops and restaurants line the streets and there is often live music in the square.

Great Area

By Alexander L |

It's a Hip Somewhat Urban place consisting of a 12 city block area that leads to the Water Front , from restaurants, too coffee shops, Grocery Stores & Apartment Style living, a Great Location worth the Visit

Great place

By JenniferSun |

We went there several times. They have great restaurants, bars, comedy club, bowling alley, stores, movie theater. Enjoyed the atmosphere for families or adults.

Great Area to Visit

By Kelly |

As others have written, good mix of restaurants and shops. The Macy’s is not there anymore and I am sure it is missed. We ate at Mexican place which was so-so, Brio which was good as was Cheesecake Factory, barbecue place, which was terrible. Tried to go to Venetian nail place but couldn’t get in at 6:00 pm - and they close at 7:30 pm. Took the free trolley from here. This was close to our hotel, Hilton West Palm Beach, so a great location for us.

Great place with tons of atmosphere

By catrionah581 |

City Place is a great place to go for something to eat and watch the world go by. The vibe at night is relaxed and a great place to watch the world go by. We’ve been twice now to visit when over in West Palm Beach and will definitely visit again.

Construction

By betterinblack |

I didn't care for CityPlace. The construction is awful, the selection of restaurants is awful, and it just wasn't for me.

Great shopping

By JHurst2014 |

This is an excellent place to visit for fine dining and good shops. I even found an Otterbox for my iPhone 7 for only ten bucks!!

Smaller than we expected

By Ellie1145 |

We often visit West Palm Beach and have visited City Place on several occasions.

It’s all open air with shops and restaurants and the famous fountains which are actually quite small though look pretty when lit up at night.

Our favourite Panera Bread is here and there is a movie theatre. Parking is close by and you get 90 mins free. Get your ticket validated if you go to the movie theatre.

It’s not the best shopping area we’ve been to but it’s nice to walk around on a warm evening.

Great

By Rachael S |

Nice little set up. Live music on weekends. So much fun and alot to see. Quiet during the week but still nice! Went a few times during my weeks stay.

Great place to shop eat and relax

By AndyMoo |

Regularly vacation in the palm beach area and love getting lunch in cityplace and then returning in the evening for one of the free bands and entertainment. Everything in one great place

Out for lunch

By Malynnew |

This is a wonderful place. All kinds of shops, restaurants. There is several parking decks. We can't wait to go back and spend more time down there and explore everything.

By the Atlantic Ocean

CityPlace is the most popular attraction in West Palm Beach. There are a lot of great restaurants and shopping places where you can pass your whole day and promise you won’t get bored.

A Palm Beaches Trip -Must do!!

By FloridaLife87 |

So many shops and eateries. You feel very safe and parking is easy and inexpensive just a block behind in the garage.

City Place

By Richard S |

Lots of restaurant choices. Free live concert every Friday night. A great venue to meet friends at “the fountain “ next to I’ll Belagio—a really good Italian restaurant.

Beautiful

By Elizabeth M |

We went at night just to walk around and see what all the excitement was about at this place. Great place to people watch, try exciting foods/drinks and of course to shop. We found a meter on the street to park and that was fine. Yes it’s crowded but so is every place worth visiting.

Fun place

By clover3600 |

If you have nothing to do this place is fun place to walk around. It is very nice when they have special events.Christmas ,4th of july etc. Good place to get your walking in.

Nice place to hang for an afternoon

By Miles Lerner |

There is a lot to do at cityplace. I think of it as the center and main taste of the city of West Palm Beach. There are shops to buy things (sometimes expensive) and there are shops to look at from outside or take a glimpse inside. There are some very comedic and funny shops, even worth taking a photo. CityPlace is very modern, clean, and diverse. There are many restaurants themed after cultures from steakhouses to a middle eastern restaurant to italian and chinese. Great place to hang and reminds me of Los Angeles.

Great re-visit

By Linda F |

We hadn't been to CityPlace in years. Some places don't stay nice but CityPlace was better than we remembered. Great shops & restaurants, we even went to the great movie theater there. I highly recommend a day there, and go hungry!

On the beaten path

By April K |

City place is a manufactured destination. Used to be a downtrodden neighborhood, bought out and created for nightlife for tourists and visitors to WPB. It has a lot of food and drink venues, but lacks sincerety and authenticity. Plenty of places to visit in WPB for that. If you want the Hoi polio and common, expensive experience you have the right place. Remember you CAN do better elsewhere

Christmas Time

By MaryAnnBG86 |

Nice to go downtown during Christmas. Take the trolley to Clematis and see the Sandi tree display and then you can go back to City place for their large classic tree and snow fall (every hour). Pretty. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Live performances on the weekends at night too.

Improv night

By allywanders |

I love city place. There is always something going on. I love looking at the lights and getting dinner at brio.

Ok

By john l |

City place is not a hotel but the centre crossroads of WPB in southern Florida.
I am British where all towns and villages have a central open area where there are markets and events, it is the hub of the community.
The USA does not have town centres as such. The Cheese factory just happens to be on the central crossroads but cannot be classed as the town centre.

My Birthday Trip

By Lynetric R |

This was a very interesting place to visit. Lots of shops however trying to access them for people who are out of town provided a quandary. We tried to find mellow mushroom pizza place that was with in CityPlace we walked around and could not find it anywhere there were very little directories up showing you how to get to different places, so for someone who’s from out of town it really was not user-friendly. It was very clean and very decorative and I appreciated that but short of being able to access their parking we really could not find anything until we got in the car and literally started driving to leave and then we found lots of other places within CityPlace which was disappointing because at that point we had to leave.

Good for a visit

By Patick C |

This is a rich folk kind of place to visit. The kitchen store was cool. Most of the shops were way out of our financial status. There was some good live music. The bubbles were cool. Parking was $7.50.

We went because we wanted to eat at the Cheesecake Factory

Kind of a one in done thing.

Nice place kill some time

By 202ajs |

We stopped here after landing at the airport. There are a few decent restaurants and a good amount of shipping if you’re in the mood.

Great place to shop and eat

By Rachael S |

We went here on a rainy day we couldn't spend by the pool it was perfect most of it is covered and has covered parking so we stayed totally dry. Fun shops and restaurants made for some rainy day fun.

Beautiful

By Sam Q |

City Place always offers so many events for families. I've also noticed how they support local business and organizations by offering free spaces for pop-up shops. That's very commendable. Thanks City Place!

Very disappointing and disgusted.

By Jane Eskay W |

As many others have said, City Place is ruined! It used to be a vibrant busy shopping, movie going, restaurant and bar nightlife and daytime. Now they’ve taken away the movie theater, wonderful Macys and even Anthropolgy has moved. The wishing tree is ridiculous. Why did they change it. Whose ideas was it? I live in unincorporated west palm so I really have no say but here!! And most of all they took away the huge Christmas tree with the gorgeous colorful synchronized to music fountains. What??? Whose crazy idea was that? Someone who hates Christmas I bet. Now I went down to the Clematis waterfront area last weekend. And anything they took away a real tree also they did put a sandi tree there. But the decorations ands lights were absolutely gorgeous ! I was pleasantly surprised. Then my husband and I decided to head up Clematis to Rosemary to go through City Place…. It was l like a ghost town. Not display on Rosemary. They could have continued some lighting but no it must need the City Place humbugs again. I just can’t understand it. What gives??? So disappointed and embarrassed for the visitors.

Favorite place to hang out in WPB.

By jax848 |

A great place to go in WPB. Lots of restaurants and shops. Easy walking. One of our favorite places to hang out. Very short walk from Brightline station.

Fun place to hang out

By Erika A |

City Place always has an activity going on during weekend evenings, so you will be able to catch a free concert or an open market if you visit.

Nice place

By LukeSkywalker_1975 |

Nothing so special but the atmosphere is nice, many small shops, bars and restaurants. It's nice the idea of the gallery.

Stores and restaurants

By Osline M |

City place is a great place to just walk around shop/eat and just relax and chill with family and friends and have fun. The atmosphere is good, parking is sort of hard can’t say I’m surprised why so many people go, it’s just a really cool environment to be in. There’s so much to do so you won’t get bored, while I was there I went to the cheesecake factory it had amazing food and great service. The cheesecake factory was Busy But when is it not. If you haven’t been to City place you should go I highly recommend it, the whole structure is nice as well the bright lights, The music it’s just cool. I think I mentioned it already but it’s like the perfect place to go with family and just walk around. It’s basically an outdoor mall but better, way better. Overall I just really like the atmosphere. So if you go Enjoy!

Great ares, plenty to do

By nicholasp912 |

This is a great area with a great atmosphere. There is plenty of options for food and drinks as well as shopping. I usually am in the area on business and it is a great place to go for a walk an unwind after a long day.

Fun Time for All Ages

By Cheryl K |

This is a square in the older area of West Palm Beach. It has been gentrified and is beautiful. Restaurants, theatres, founds and a wishing tree that is worth the trip alone. We spent 2 hours wandering the shops, eating gelato and people watching. Fun evening activity for children and adults alike.

Fun area with lots of restaurants

By anastasha l |

Very fun area to have drinks and dinner . The church is very nice also. Lots of shopping here also. Always nice to visit when in palm beach

fun local night life

By karentcool |

Starting out as a way to revitalize an older rundown part of town, City Place has gone from a major outdoor shopping area to an eclectic conglomerate of restaurants, sports bars and clubs, many with live music nightly. Large central patio had local bands on the weekend. West Palm' s nicest movie theater is also there. As there are several multi story parking garages, be sure and note where you park. Great place for people watching.

Fine selection of bars, restaurants and shops

By Nic Glen |

Modern, clean and tidy outdoor shopping centre with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Shops include Anthropologie, H&M and Lucky Brand. There are Parking garages a short distance away on Sapodilla Avenue. A Publix is also only a couple of blocks away from the main square.
There is always something on most nights such as hosting live music or market stalls. It also has a multi-screen cinema and a theatre.
Overall, it's a great place to spend the day and evening.

Holiday Delight

By Bill G |

Rosemary Square is continually changing mostly for the better. During our visit they had a LED lit tree that changed color and artificial snow falling from the building tops. Music played as we strolled around. We had a good dinner at Cheesecake Factory before we walked around. It was a nice night

Awesome Downtown environment

By mitch907 |

This place is a must visit when you stay in West Palm Area there are lots of bars , eatery’s, shopping not much street parking but many parking lots and garages to choose

Excellent Place with Dining and Shops

By Angela N |

Fun place with good food and shopping! Definitely worth checking out! We loved the macaroons! The location was great to our hotel. We enjoyed it so much having so much to choose in a great location that we went back a second time later during our trip.

CityPlace in West Palm Beach

By Cheryl S |

This is a great shopping area in West Palm Beach and it has a number of restaurants located in the area. It is an easy place to walk around

The shops were great!

By 2Frequent Travelers |

Fun relaxing weekend get-away for the family. This was the better trips we had. We loved the area, the food, and the wife loved the shopping.

No Christmas Spirit

By Meander581052 |

Absolutly no Christmas spirit! The only thing they have is a winter tree and some fake snow.. looks like there is a place for santa..but. No lights, no trees, no garland…NO Christmas!
Wont be going back!

Car show

By Dennis P |

We were here today for their annual Corvette car show. This place is a great shopping center with plenty of shops and restaurants. On weekends they have live entertainment. Great family place.

Movie and coffee

By William Roger C |

Interesting collection of people and shops. New shops and buildings with a variety of restaurants and retailers. Heavy foot traffic with locals, visitors and tourists from out of town. County convention center and new, excellent hotels on the perimeter. Courtyard seating in some restaurants give a European feel to dining.

Regular

By Maria D |

The place is nice but look like careless. I saw some pictures in the internet and I have high expectations about the place but was very regular.

Family lunch & stroll

By MsG |

If the weather is nice, which is most of the time here in south Florida, this is a nice location to come have a meal or dessert, stroll through the open plaza, shop in their retail stores or come have a drink and hang out with friends at one of their restaurant/bars. It's also a great place to sit back, relax and people watch. Many families come here with their children, teens, and pets to enjoy the outdoor mall atmosphere. The parking is a hassle unless you choose to pay $11+ for the parking garages. Not a good choice on a rainy or sweltering hot day.

Lots to do but under construction

By JMINMID |

Lots of options but it’s under construction. And looks worn down. Good choices for restaurants and a theater too. Just need to complete the face lift and get some money into its aesthetics.

Something for Everyone

By Terri B |

The Square was so much fun! There are so many restaurants, beautiful foliage, live music, a vegan ice cream truck and an interactive fountain! My husband and I got ice cream and sat on the bench around the fountain, listening to the live music and having fun watching the kids, parents and grandparents running in and out of the fountain trying not to get wet. What a great idea to install for all to enjoy!

I would highly recommend The Square!

Just a visit to walk around

By Debcotalmt |

Beautiful, clean, lots of shops and eateries. Great place to stroll and window shop or to have lunch.

Amazing

By Ell Belllll |

Everything you could want to do is here. The restaurants are amazing, shops are great, and the Christmas decor is even better. Great place!

Nice European architecture, relaxing shopping and dining experience

By Margie F |

Italian or Mediterranean plaza with shops and restaurants. We were there the past weekend and they have live music, ‘snow flakes’, lights and fountains for the holidays. Kids and grownup all enjoyed some good time. Parking was a bit tricky at night so for the little one we did valet parking for $12. But the same week during the day, free parking once you’ve spent $50+. Good fun for everyone.

The Perfect Spot

By Rcandelario |

City Place is the Perfect Spot for shopping, dining and entertainment. For shopping there's Macy's and lots of specialty stores and boutiques. There are also places galore to choose from if you want to eat, such as Brio Italian Restaurant, the Cheesecake Factory and much more. Then for entertainment there's the City Place movie theatre and not far from there is the Kravits theatre. Metered parking is available on the street but there are psrking structures and most stores validate your ticket, with a purchase. It's a fun place and you can spend a whole day there with your significant other and family.

Fun outdoor atmosphere.

By Denise L |

City place is a great meeting place when you want to shop, eat and people watch. Sometimes there is music or other entertainment.

CityPlace

By Dick S |

If you live in or visit Palm Beach County (Jupiter to Boca) you have to pay a visit to downtown West Palm and City Place. City Place has an array of venues to enjoy including restaurants, bars, movies, free entertainment and a great souvenir shop. One highlight is a visit to the new Restoration Hardware Store right in the middle of Okeechobee between the Hilton and the beginning of City Place. A must see. Great place for lunch and daytime drinks as well. Blue Martini still ranks as one of my favorite place for drinks and live entertainment. Good for dancing too! Best of all, Clematis Street and the Waterfront is close by for even more of all the above! As a resident, I visit both all the time! The Saturday morning green market is the best in the county.

A fun & boisterous city-village

By NOYB42 |

Great place to take out of town visitors — especially those from dirty environs like NYC. Clean, neat, good selection of restaurants and easy parking. When scratching our head wondering where to take A B C this always comes to mind.

City place has changed

By Amy V |

My family and I went to dinner at Il Bellagio and it was fantastic!!! But city place as a whole is completely different than it was a few years ago. Many stores are closed and the good ones are gone. The Christmas tree is still gorgeous but the snow? What snow? There use to be snow everywhere!! It used to be wonderful but now there are maybe a couple snowmakers. Nothing like it used to be. The gardens and harbor side are now way better. I hope city place can recover.

Nice place

By cmrtraveler |

We visited on a Saturday morning while we had some intermittent sunshine. Beautiful outdoor shopping area paved with bricks on nice walking paths. Lots of little stores (some brand names). Dining, fountains and very clean. Some areas under construction but still very relaxing. Parking garages and/or metered parking on streets. Would visit again!

Outdoor mall

By tiffoto |

Nice place. A lot of typical chain stores. Cool student art gallery. Movie theatre. Art gallery. Easy parking in covered garage. Good restaurant choices. Great ice cream!

Don’t ride Diva Duck Tours though. Boat broke down during water tour. Had to get rescued. No refund! Bad business.

Very nice shopping

By Clownswife |

Great shopping in downtown West Palm Beach. Upscale.
Department stores as well as small boutiques, nice restaurants and a movie theatre.

Interesting Shopping and Dining

By Foretraveler |

An acquaintance suggested we visit Downtown West Palm Beach and we foud CityPlace. There is a wide variety of shopping and dining available, ranging from high-end to casual. While several storefronts are still empty, the area appears relatively new and still growing and should become even better over time. I highly recommend a visit!

Took visiting family there for a night out.

By Patrick W |

We all had a great time shopping and eating and drinking in the various shops within city place. It is a great place to shop and walk and talk and relaxing with all that it offers. Would recommend City Place to anyone visiting the area.

A Nice Place to Visit

By Chani B |

I visited CityPlace on a "girls trip". My girls and I traveled to CityPlace via the Brightline Train. The station is in very close proximity and in walking distance. There is also a little free ride shuttle that will take there as well. They have very nice shops and restaurants...much to do and see including movies and live entertainment. Very clean and well maintained. We rode the free trolley which took us around CityPlace, downtown West Palm Beach and to the Waterfront. There was lots and lots of security and police officers so we felt very safe. I will be visiting again!!

Nice

By Ernesto C |

Lots of nice shops and places to eat and drink. Coffee shops and outdoor sitting and music. Enjoy going there.

Dinner and Shopping

By Escape31051 |

Went here twice while we stayed at the Marriot Vacation Club Resort in Palm Beach.About a 20 min ride.Area undergoing a lot of renovation, not many stores to shop at but many dining options. We ate at a Cuban Restaurant which was very good and then another evening we ate at Brio an Italian Restaurant with an awesome and delicious happy hour in the bar area.Would definitely go back to both restaurants.Parking available in the garage very limited street parking.Ritas ice cream shop was also a big hit.

Good stores and restaurants

By Steve S |

We would come here more often if not for the parking garage charge. The first 80 minutes are free but $12 after. AMC and a few restaurants due offer validation with $50 purchase but not all. No validation at Brio so we went to Cheesecake Factory that did validation. Sorry Brio you lost $150 today for no validation. With the great indoor AC malls in the area why would anyone want to come here and pay to park.

Visit CityPlace but Not Right Now

By Larry S |

We always take our tourist friends to see City Place. We were driving there last week and the streets are all torn up and the detours kept us out of the main area. The one we took sent us west towards an area we are not crazy about.

Keep City Place on your list but not while all this construction is going on. They are turning the old Macy's site into a tall apartment building.

Great After Hours Hangout

By Miles C |

We spent several days in West Palm Beach. For several we ended up at CityPlace simply because it was a fun place to be. We would do happy hours at different locations and then hang out and listen to music for a while before wandering back to our B&B. Great shopping, we left just before the new Restoration Hardware store opened by a day. Not that we'd buy some of their furniture, but it would have been very interesting to take a wander around. Important to note you can catch the free trolley and roll further downtown into the we hours if you like. Very friendly place to hang out and relax.

Great eats and entertainment

By 2016andiamo |

This is a great place for an evening stroll, shopping, to get something to eat, or just people watch. We were there early in the evening and it was alive with activity and music. Great place to unwind!

Nice place for shopping or strolling

By DiverM |

This area was recently updated. There is a new fountain you can walk through as well as a tree with led lights. The area frequently has live music. There are numerous stores, restaurants, and bars.

There is a Publix grocery nearby if you want a really good inexpensive sandwich.

Outdoor shopping

By Tom P |

Decent area of shops and restaurants all within a few block are. Just west of the water and walking distance from hotels. Nice outdoor atmosphere with good variety of shops and places to eat including areas with outdoor seating.

Nice place to unwind

By nypdliz |

Now this place is crazy overpriced... We spent 30$ for 3 ice creams at Sloans... It was delicious, but not worth 30$.
The area itself is nice. We found free parking, and had a nice walk. Would recommend if you have a free evening.

Just your average mall

By Cara G |

This was just your average outdoor mall. It had a few good shops and restaurants. Would be really fun to come and get a few drinks! Looking for a day long activity? This is not your place.

a fun place to eat and hang out

By jhbugsy |

If you're staying in west Palm Beach, try to be close to City Place. It has several excellent restaurants, from fine Italian to fine saloon food, a movie theater, comedy club and entertainment on weekends. And of course there are the boutique shops for strolling and spending. Beats hanging out at your hotel twiddling yoour fingers!

Love the atmosphere at City Place!

By Sherrie M |

Really enjoyed the outdoor shopping' and entertaiment' and restraunts
its a nice relaxing place! Looking forward to getting to go back

Fabulous location to visit! So many shops to see and plenty of restaurants to dine at! GetSome!!

By Loucious |

A people-packed place! Superbly located mall (if you will) in the middle of WPB, Fl. We got off the Brightline train and only had to walk a few blocks to this place. Plenty of shops (and more to come soon) and plenty of restaurants to visit. At around sundown live musicians arrive to entertain the crowds in the open plaza. A "must see" place! GetSome!!

Not worth more than a 30 min visit.

By Anthony |

Sorry for the poor review but this place is way overrated. 30 minutes of visiting this place is about all I can really handle. Way too pretentious for me.

Great Shopping and Eating

By Craig S |

The large outdoor mall provides a fun place to eat and shop. The food choices ranged from gourmet to budget friendly for people who have large families.

So good!

By boxofsugar |

Cityplace is great. Lots of places to shop at. Seating. Concerts and entertainment at night. And all of it you can ride the free city trolleys around to get to. They are currently constructing some of the roads to make it more pedestrian friendly but that will make it even better! Lots to do and great to people watch.

Family fun

By Steelcitypapa |

We discovered Rosemary square when we were looking for a Cheese Cake factory
Clean, safe a lot of little shops and restaurants
A must visit, better at night time

Very well done!

By Crcb |

What a pleasant place! Care has obviously been taken to create an inviting area in which to linger. The fountains and plantings are beautiful, and the walking surface is attractive. There are quite a few stores, restaurants, and theaters. There is also a large parking garage.

Great place for dining and entertainment!

By Melissa D |

CityPlace has a wide variety of restaurants at a variety of price ranges, a bowling alley, movie theater, live bands during the evenings on the weekends, and stores as well. Great lively atmosphere.

Enjoyable evening out!

By JBH |

CityPlace is a nice location to go for an evening for some dinner and a walk around a few shops.

On some evenings it has live music with people dancing.

There is a wide selection of places for children and adults (Clothes shops, coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream and cinema)

Side Shopping / Eating When I Came for a Meeting

By CarolAnn G |

I was staying at the Marriott West Palm Beach for a meeting and they had a Shuttle to bring us over and it was also close enough to walk over. I did both.
The shuttle driver was great. He made suggestions as to where to eat - City Place has great options - the big name restaurants and smaller local places.
They also have great places to shop.
Even though they are doing construction right now - I didn’t have any problems getting around. I did get a lot of dirt into / onto my shoes from the construction though. I did jot appreciate that!!

A nice blend of shopping, eating, and entertainment

By Donald W |

Stopped to get some lunch before taking in a movie. Note, AMC has parking validation inside of the theatre. I wish we would have known before. Nevertheless, something to remember. Copper Blues Rock Pub and Kitchen was an excellent choice for a pre-movie lunch. Plenty of options for meals and snacks. A nice place, well maintained. Duck tours are also available from here.

A GREAT PLACE TO WALK AND TAKE IN THE SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS OR A MOVIE

By BATMAN & CATWOMAN |

City Place a great place to walk around and enjoy the shops and restaurants or a movie. There is construction currently going on so the center of the shopping area is closed off. Check out RH on Okeechobee.

Fun evening window shopping!

By Sammysue |

Went to City Center and enjoyed a great dinner at Il Bellagio. My friend need a new phone charger and sure enough there was a phone store just steps away from the restaurant. We wandered from store to store window shopping and enjoying the lights. It was a beautiful evening and I ran into H &M and bought a quick sweater. I really like little places like this....there was a candy store, ice cream and lots of people just out and enjoying the warm evening. I have been to Rocco’s Tacos on another trip and just like the place. We felt very safe as we waited for our Uber.

Great Environment

By Brianabulls |

This is a great place for walking around and catching up. There are a bunch of shops and eateries around to choose from. Definitely a place for all ages.

Lovely place to walk around, watch a movie or eat.

By nisaury |

Parking is free if you watch a movie or get it validated in other ways. I brought the kids to see the snow during December 2018. Snow experience could be better, yet is free so you can ask for too much. There are a lot of eating options and some retail. It feels lovely walking around. There's an area by the clock that's always has something happening and I love that, be it music, performances, snow, etc.

Ton to do here

By Jason T |

You really can’t go wrong here with a good place to have fun and get good food. They have almost anything you would want to eat from tacos to pizza to bbq.

Great place to live and shop

By 335lauren |

I moved to City Place South in October and walk around City Place almost everyday. I love the beautiful Holiday decorations everywhere and they even have fake snow and Santa in the main square. It’s do chasing and the shops and restaurants are great! They have something for every taste and budget and I can go anywhere with my dog Charlie who is always welcomed. They have music, movies, bowling, comedy, shopping and restaurants all here st City Place. Its definitely worth a visit

Disappointed and dangerous!

By Quinnschoice |

Walked through last night after work for dinner and at least two sUV’s had no idea where the sidewalk started and the street ended.. driving on the sidewalk! Please look at your camera video between Brio and the escalators to the 2nd level!!! There are no longer clear crosswalks! Almost got hit twice and a family with a baby almost got hit.. It’s very difficult walking around with the construction 🚧 and the walkways are very uneven and rough.. unfortunately the restaurants are suffering. So many tourists got into Ubers and left the area.. heading to Palm Beach Gardens.. not a pleasant experience anymore. So many empty storefronts! Looks like a deserted has been center! A chain link fence is your view from Il Bellagio and Starbucks ! Very poor planning not to mention the ridicules change in name... very short cited! Please look at 1st tier cities that have thriving dining and shopping complexes and hopefully learn.

Excellent, relaxing multi-use entertainment/shopping district

By sollblair |

I have been visiting this complex since I moved here 5 years ago and it's always an enjoyable experience.

Offerings include: Live and movie theatre, shopping, restaurants, music and comedy venues, and more. There is often live local entertainment offered in the large central square.

This weekend I went for a movie, there was a Downton Abbey exhibit, lots of great locations to enjoy a coffee, ice cream or desserts, live music, variety of lunch/dinner choices (sandwiches, BBQ, Cuban, fine-dining), shopping across a wide spectrum, plenty of choices for a craft beer or a smart cocktail, etc.

Whatever you are in the mood for, if you want a leisure afternoon or evening, this is an ideal location to pass the time, shop, take in a show, enjoy a beverage.

Traffic in the area can be congested, so park your car in one of several garages and walk if you can--you'll see and enjoy so much more that way.

Shopping area with pizzazz

By Barb A |

This is a large shopping plaza with lots of dining and entertainment options. There are numerous shops if this is your thing, and there is a lovely water fountain (as well as an interesting statue of a swimmer, check out her toenails for the degree of detail on it). Absolutely take in CityPlace, and then move on to explore other areas of West Palm Beach.

Lots to see, shopping and restaurants

By Fdl063 |

Great place to check out on windy/rainy days when you cant get out on the water. Plenty of restaurant and shops to choose from.

City Place eateries

By Rodney A |

City Place seemed to be the place to be in West Palm Beach. Stayed across the street at the Residence Inn so it was walking distance. Very lively place where all the beautiful people hang out. Reminded me of walking on the strip in Las Vegas but on a smaller scale. Anyway, there is a lot of eateries and specialty shopping stores in City Place. We ate at Brother Jimmy's BBQ, Burger Fi and Cheesecake Factory and Rita's on separate occasions. All were very good. We were there on Valentines day and there was a live band playing Latin music with people dancing in the square. All in all this was a very fun place.

All Under Construction :(

By RT_in_FL |

The entire thing is under construction, I would recommend avoiding for the next 2-3 months. I bought ice cream and looked for a place to sit... wandered and wandered... every street under construction! Tight paths, no seating, no fountains, it was extremely unpleasant. There is no public seating! Honestly if you're buying something its fine, you'll get in and out. But if you're looking for a place to hang out... AVOID for the next couple months.

The only seating belongs to private restaurants, so you can only sit at tables where you are eating, but you're basically sitting in a construction zone so nobody was outside.

I am so disappointed that the entire Cityplace area, except for 1 road, is under construction. It really ruined my trip here. Even though I paid a premium for a hotel in the area, it was a waste of money because I ended up taking a taxi to other areas that were more pleasant.

No fountains, no seating, no finished walkways, no escalators, even some of the staircases were closed. I hated 90% of my experience here (my ice cream was good).

Great Place

By Fran R |

Lovely place to having a relaxing meal at excellent restaurants. Can stroll and window shop!! Also can stop and have dessert at one of the specialty shops!

Cool environment with lots to do

By Paul V |

A movie theatre, bars, fine dining restaurants, live music, shops. Good area to visit if in the area.

Ideal downtown shopping mall

By Rschagrin |

Ideal downtown shopping mall with loads of stores, a movie theater and a ton of restaurants including some very good upscale ones .

Unfortunately currently there are ripping up the street so you can't crossover.

Strolling

By Gary G |

We bring our guest here when they visit us here from up north. It’s a nice place to stroll, window shop, enjoy all the restaurant options, ice cream and more. Take the free trolley to Clematis and walk to the waterfront. There are parking garages and metered on the street parking. Weekends there are live bands and fairs.

Great local place to meet friends

By Shawn S |

Just minutes from the airport Great food, bars and shopping for items you might have forgot Parking on site and lots of great events going on throughout the year.

Visiting family

By Laurie W |

Shopping, dining, dancing in a lively atmosphere. Very pleasant area which has an IMAX theater and also a state of the art bowling facility. Something for everyone!

Great place for a leisurely walk-about

By Gary M |

You can shop or not. Just walk around. Enjoy the pleasant scenery, a meal, a coffee or an ice cream.

Unfortunately, in February 2019 they are doing outdoor renovations, which takes away from the pleasure of simply walking around the central area. But no doubt that shall pass.

Wasn’t seeing much but there’s construction.

By lavitadolce |

Really didn’t see any worthwhile and looks like typical outdoor mall. Was a lot of stores and movie theater.

Not much during the day

By Aashna25 |

We went during the day and there wasn't much to see. Can't imagine it would be much better at night. Had lunch at an Italian restaurant that was good. That's it.

Family Oriented

By Cass B |

Great shopping choices for all ages. Plenty of restaurants, local church if you need it. Sweet tooth friendly for the young guys and romantic hideaways. Although Macy's closed as the major big box, there are many great shops to make up the loss. Walking distance from the convention center. A must visit while in West Palm.

Very nice

By Judith C |

Nice place to go hang out, we went in the evening and the lights and ambiance was great. Didn't eat there but looked busy on the patios.

Fun nightspot

By Conor R |

It’s the place to go in the evening. Lots of nice restaurants, & bars. Great atmosphere. People having lots of fun. Good police presence.

Rosemary Square is no City Place...

By Martin S |

Totally in support of transformation and evolution, but I miss the old City Place. Lots of construction and a bit seedy. This was an every year stop for me/my family - I’ll wait to return until “phase two” is complete.

City Place Assisted Living

By David Z |

This is an old hotel built in 1926 that is now being used as an assisted living facility. The previous hotel rooms are now being used as bedrooms for people living there. Staff is well mannered and courteous, and seem to be taking satisfactory care of my brother.

The place is clean and is being continually upgraded. Very secure.

One block away from a huge entertainment, shopping, and restaurant complex.

THE NEW NAME. What are you guys thinking it’s the jam of the country you could do better.

By John l |

Please add to that name Rosemary is A terrible choice Rosemary is. What are you guys thinking it’s the jam of the country you could do better. WHY

Great Area

By jamiewilliams2000 |

A great area to wander and visit bars and restaurants. Felt very safe to walk, as a couple, in the evenings. We stumbled onto a nice little music festival in the park one early evening. Nice family vibe with good Jamaican BBQ and reggae music. There is a fun fountain nearby for kids to play in, as well.

Great time

By Michelle M |

Cityplace is just a happening place. Went there with my husband for date night. It’s really a great place. Terrific environment!!

Fun night

By Steve A |

It's a fun night for dinner and to walk around. At times they have different events for young children. There is a movie theater and several bars so it does become more adult-oriented later in the evening especially on weekends. Safe to walk around especially to the parking garage or to the hotel across the street.

Family Visit

By FLAparent |

Always a fun place to people watch grab a bite and do some great shopping! Heard they run great movies at the theater but haven’t been there yet! Garage parking is convenient and keeps your car cooler in the hot months! Really good for active little ones with lighted fountains at night and free music!

Lovely evening at Rosemary Square

By Marcel |

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Bellagio Restaurant on Rosemary Square. Sitting on the terrace we could appreciate the beauty of the Square with the changing colors of the light display, the beautiful play of the fountains and the nice architecture around the Square.

Great spot in the rain

By Paul S |

Decided to window shop here the first day in town and stopped in when a corvette show had taken over the center street. Checked them out before it started raining. Most shops have a covered breezeway in front of their places so you can stay dry as you decide what stores to visit. We also made sure to grab food drinks and desert from a few of the places around the square.

Something For Everyone

By Charles H |

I love City Place in downtown West Palm Beach.
There is something here for everyone: Movies, Bowling and Game room, Restaurants and Bars, Comedy Club, Shopping and more shopping, Live Music on weekends, LA Fitness, and so much more!!
Head down for a fun day/evening/weekend.

So disappointing

By Linustibus |

City place use to be the place in town to enjoy music Christmas lights and Christmas spirit. No of that is at this new rosemary place. I was there Friday. Almost no people
No c m’as decorations nothing it is so sad that they let this go down like that.... Not impressed with the designer that created this place ....

To spend the evening

By Martha KROPP |

Nice place to spend the evening (shops, restaurants, lighting, ballet of big cars) if you like the crowd.

A little bit of everything

By Liveforetravel |

Many restaurants, a movie theater, comedy club , shopping, treats, people watching, bands, special events. We spend a lot of time here for many reasons. This place can get a bit busy in season and on weekends but that just makes the people watching better.

The Best Tourist Attraction in Palm Beach County.

By Marjorie A |

This location can satisfy the needs and wants of different people whether traveling solo or within groups with families and/or friends. CityPlace has their own mall, a nearby comedy club, and a movie theater, They sell sit-in and take-out food. You can purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Everyone is required to pay to park their car in the garage of the mall. People can travel to CityPlace mid-day and stay till closing time late at night.

I love to watch the movies at the movie theater in CityPlace. The last movie starts at nine p.m. The comedy show provides afternoon and evening shows.

Movies, shopping, restaurants, live music, and more!

By Peachymom2 |

Hubby and I spent about 5 days in West Palm Beach. We visited CityPlace several times during that time. A visit to Guest Relations was extremely helpful with a map and CP reusable bag as well as a wheelchair (free) checkout for me during our first visit. On our first full day, we had lunch at City Cellar followed by ice cream at Sloan’s. After a bit of shopping, we saw a new release movie at the AMC Theater and later enjoyed a live band on the CP stage followed by dinner at Mellow Mushroom. After a long afternoon/evening in Miami/South Beach on another day, we came back to CP and had a late night bite at Cheesecake Factory. And, on our last day before going to the airport, we stopped at Panera Bread for a quick lunch. We also picked up a few grocery items at the CP Publix during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying close to CP. it has a bit of everything. We look forward to visiting again.

Great Vibe

By Carol B |

So many places to eat and be happy! The must do's...Il Bellagio, Ruth's Chris, Cheesecake Factory and more!

Morning Surprise

By BonnieRe52 |

The suprise was going to CityPlace at 10:00 in the morning and expecting sjops to be opened. CityPlace is lovely with fountains, a variety of shops, restaurants and a movie theater. My advice is to visit after 12:00 noon or wait until evening.

A weekend in South Florida

By TomW |

Across the street from the Hilton was the CityPlace complex; live music in the evening, dining and shopping. A nice place to hang out and walk around.

Shopped to restaurants

By JimDeBerry |

Things to know
Street parking it’s metered and they meter maid guys are constantly checking.

Macy’s is gone

Parking garage cost me $10 for max time.

Movie theater, cheap eats to nice eats, bars, shops, fitness center and more

If you’re bored

By ryshfish |

City place is definitely pretty but is mostly high priced restaurants that do not serve meals justified within that price range. The farmers market was cute but small. There needs to be more activities other than food.

Too much construction.

By BLMerce |

It’s difficult to walk around cityPlace. Wait until construction is completed.
You are limited in going from one store to another. The construction vehicles are very noisy.

It was OK

By Anne C |

Not really impressed. It was OK. A bunch of stores and a couple of restaurants. The highlight was the kids running around in the fountain. There are some Adirondack chairs to sit in on the lawn. Plenty of parking in the garage. Something to do. The light up tree is pretty cool.

Great place & vibe is excellent

By StephenCross |

The Square in West Palm Beach is a very lively area with something for everybody. Restaurants, bars, fountains and shopping. All good.

Great place

By James R |

Never had been to one before, quick food, service was great, delicious burgers! We all had a wonderful meal..

Lovely place to sit to enjoy the night!

By DerRotheFaden |

Nice place to go on Friday or Saturday evening around 7:30pm to enjoy the music of the band on the plaza.

Lots of Choices

By MG L |

The City Center is a place to relax, eat in or out, shop, see movies or a play or comedians or go bowling. The main plaza offers several nice fountains to enjoy. There are tall palm trees and many park benches available to take in the scene. There is also a small stage/amphitheater in the square. On Thursday nights a farmers market comes to the square and on Fridays and Saturdays there might be live music in the square. In addition to the the people, many local birds make the city center their home as well which adds a nice spark of nature to it all. The plaza is pet friendly and even has a dog fountain. There is a city center map board located in the plaza by the fountains if you need to see a complete listing of eateries, shops and the like and get oriented. Try Sloan’s for ice cream.

Dance the night away

By song w |

We go to city Place and listen to the bands and like I said before dance that night away we are not senior citizens we are season citizens All kinds of restaurants stores nightclub theater for shows movie theater so come down have a ball bring the kids a lot this for them to do.

Movie Theatre needs a thorough cleaning

By Mkuiper |

Went to see a movie and eat dinner on my anniversary. The movie auditorium was filthy. The arms were covered in black stains and the floor was sticky. Asked at guest services if any of the other auditoriums were better and was told that they are all the same. Make you that you show up early enough to check out your seats before it gets dark and you sit down, so you can move if needed.

Superb

By Holidayjollies |

Excellent place to shop. Lots of places to eat and people watch. Very clean and a pleasure to go. Parking available and it expensive.

Massive construction going on

By Robin B |

This looks to be a great place; however, right now the roads are all torn up, and makes parking confusing! We went to the Downton exhibit and then left.

Beautiful Plaza

By nowpacking |

Such a beautiful and spacious area with lots of shopping and dining choices. Beautiful views and very convenient to downtown hotels - we stayed at the Marriott Residence City Plaza across the street which was amazing. There are also parking garages in the area but i did not see the charges. The whole atmosphere is great with lots of architectural details. Also, a 20 screen movie theater as well as other events so check the schedules.

Slow down and enjoy ...

By Michael C |

Some would claim this to be the good life! It is something to just walk and enjoy however for us visiting. Do the Rosemary-Clamatis walk, take in the sight, find a restaurant to your liking and enjoy a meal; some restaurants just packed with people while others empty. There is a free trolley that run along this route and you can just get on get off as you wish at designated stops. Metered parking up to 2 hours available on street. Highly recommended as a to-do while at West Palm Beach.

Beautiful but...

By Diane W |

With so many stores closing and leaving...its very sad. No more Barnes and Noble, no more Macy’s.... what will be with the Malls?

Wonderful downtown

By Melanie |

It’s such a joy to walk around downtown and also the waterfront. Great restaurants and a few little shops. Pay to park. At Christmas time they have music/lights and the famous sand tree!

Currently under some renovations.

Nice break from the beach

By michelyn318 |

We had time to kill before checking into our hotel on a Monday and walked around and had lunch at Panera. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Never got a chance to go back at night. It looks like it would be fun!

By Carolyn J |

Excellant eateries, clean. Staff pleasant. Many choices of entertainment and food.Felt safe.Band/ music good. Lots to do and see

Very Nice Upgrade

By FloridaSunDevil |

The change on name of City Place to Rosemary Square was more than just a name change. After dinner at a nearby restaurant and before our show at the Kravis Center (a short walk), we were able to stroll around the square in between raindrops. The new tree is just gorgeous the way it changes color. Plenty of restaurants to chose from and some shopping. Hopefully, there will be more merchants later on. One highlight is that there is a choice of an ice cream shop, frozen yogurt shop and a gelato shop in the square. Worth visiting for a movie or dining.

Something for for everyone

By hek4 |

Convenient to hotel. Stores, restaurants, bars, movie theatre, improv theatre, live concert Sat night and live music in bars. Nice place to stroll around.

Nice fun place

By monicaeh2010 |

Place is a combination of shopping and restaurants. There are a variety of restaurants from steak, Italian, and latin (mojitos). On weekends they offer a live music

Very active area

By atcretired |

Good location with plenty of eateries and shopping. During our visit there was outdoor entertainment.

The new Rosemary square is absurd

By Paolo F |

I do not know what possessed the designers of the renovated City Place under the lame name of Rosemary Square. Fake stupid trees. The benches are gone. The music stage is gone, replaced by a silly flat floor fountain. No place in the shade to stay out of the sun, you can only sit inside a refrigerated Starbucks. Only the tiles are nicer. But the place is now unfriendly, inhospitable, 👎

Not What I Expected Of West Palm Beach

By 1busymommanurse |

City Place is located perfectly. Surrounded by night life, City Place is a vibrant, bustling place. On the surface, City Place looks fairly safe; however, I noticed several homeless people walking closely behind shoppers, etc.
I would say to just be cautious because City Place is not what I expected of West Palm Beach.

Its beautiful

By Mike D |

Christmastime is alive and well at CityPlace. A short walk from the Brightline put you in a merry mood in a classy atmosphere. Food drink and shops at there best.

Easy access to great stores

By Teanbeva |

Beautiful, fun and friendly. Best stores. Restoration Hardware, large H & M, Anthropolgy & Tommy Bahamas. Nice Movie Theater, lots of restaurant choices and great fountains.

City planners, please explain the purpose of a city entertainment and business district?

By Dan resident |

What i have seen is that this city commission planners have systematically bankrupted 70% of the businesses in downtown. They have removed seating downtown, outdoor entertainment stage to draw visitors, street parking, duck boat, valets and removed all traditional Christmas American values. You spend our tax money for fake electric trees and fake settings for what purpose, to attract what year round?
Do you even think they asked the businesses what they need to survive? I been here 10 years and it was a fun spot, that has been stripped. Sad, these politicians will will reap what they sow. Hey this town voted for this.....

Do they know it's the Christmas season???

By JAW |

The new City Place, oddly called Rosemary Square, has absolutely no Christmas spirit... no Christmas tree, no Christmas lights, no Christmas music, no wreaths, no ribbon, no bows, no Santa, no reindeer, no decorations whatsoever. I don't understand it. City Place always had a great Christmas vibe and was decorated for the season. Now, not a thing. They must also prohibit their stores from putting out decorations - the whole area was stunningly barren of any indication of Christmas. But, hey they got a "wishing tree" with lights - whatever the heck that is.

Congested area but Lots of places to eat and to see.

By Norman R |

Been there only when family visits with car. I have the disabled parking pass. Otherwise parking can be difficult is you haveto limit disatance.

Nice lights displays

By dianne_tjm |

everything in one location

By celine300 |

restaurants, movies ,entertainment the only draw back is to find parking . there is a little troley that goes around the city

I don't know if its such a great Upgrade....

By Lourdes |

Sure they upgraded the walking area and fountain and added a beautiful lighting tree, but the nightlife is dying... no place to go for live music afterwards. Mojito's is closed, Blue Martini closed too, NO NIGHTLIFE LIKE THERE USED TO BE!

Great palm beach downtown

By Lori B |

Everything from bars to comedy clubs to restaurants to people watching. Come winter or summer for a great walking experience. Easy parking and lots to see and shop!

Hero or Zero

By Hero or zero |

Well much to our wondering eye should appear? Construction workers! Sadly took away from that holiday feeling but still a lovely place to go.

Bellagio’s Restaurant

By William Pagano |

All ways good food with great service. We have been there several times for lunch. Outside tables are under the glass awning with filtered views of the fountains. Very relaxing.

Always a good choice

By melyg4u |

City place is always my choice of place whenever I have a free day and nothing to do. It has lots of activities, shops, sites, and restaurants to visit. My favorite things to do are: go to the movies, walk around, ride the tram, visit the gardens, take pictures with the murals, go bowling, and eat ice cream at Salon’s. Whenever I go to city place I always end up eating at City Pizza. They have a variety of things to eat and the pizza is amazing; I have yet to eat anywhere else.

Convenient and decent storea

By Dara F |

City place was right across the street from the Hilton WPB. It has quite a few restaurants and stores and a movie theater. The ice cream place is awesome.

Disneyland shaped

By Gavinouff |

It looks like Disneyland, it seems brand new and fake. Very clean place with a good atmosphere. Bars and restaurant all over the place. A nice theater and cinema as well. A good place to have a drink or dinner in the cool summer evening.

Nice grounds!

By mwooduk |

Came here today for the first time in about 20 years! What used to be City Place apparently is now called Rosemary Square. Came on the Brightline train from Miami and a friend picked me up and we parked at the garage. . $10 parking all day. We wandered around the shops, lots of nice restaurants to choose from. They have a Planta, true food kitchen, cheesecake factory, we decided to have a light lunch at Sweetgreens, which was good. With them walked around the shops, and there were lots of lovely Bougainvillea on display as well as beautiful hibiscus. Sorry to hear the movie theater is gone, but everything else was nice. Kravis center a short walk away.

Great place to spend with family and friends!

By HurricaneEmpress |

We always have a great time when we visit City Place and have made a lot of memories there too! There are great restaurants, shopping and the movies for our family!

Not the same City Place I remember.....

By Teti21 |

I have been visiting City Place for years now. So many restaurants and shops come and go...Doesn't have the same fun vibe as in the past. I do enjoy going to Cooper Blues and Blue Martini and City Cellar.

Full of life and color

By Animagus123 |

Located not far from Donald Trumps club, the city place is Aust visit for anyone in West Palm Beach.

Full of life and lively shops, this is a great place with multiple excellent dining and shopping options. Also you could take a drive down to the beach, pier or take a look a the premium real estate that marks this small city.

Ideal for tourists to pick up souvenirs.

Nice stroll

By Miamicitizen |

Good spot to stretch your legs after business meetings. Had a couple drinks bite to eat and it was easy access to back to the Hilton .

An upscale gathering of shops, places to eat, entertainment, and theater.

By NetImpact |

We have visited City Place many times, as a weekend or an evening destination. We travel from Sarasota and overnight to enjoy the food, entertainment (indoor and outdoor), including the outdoor concerts in the pavilion. City Place is a destination for locals, as well those who would make it an annual event. Ride a bicycle taxi or book your wedding in the classic theater. There is a lot of variety of things to enjoy at City Place, West Palm Beach.

Great evening

By Bigsaltysailor |

Plenty to see and do. Festive all decorated for the holidays .. Snow machine on hour made it a winter sight
Music, food and people watching.. Don't miss even if after holidays..

Worth a trip if you’re eating, it otherwise not much else (few shops)

By GGGang |

We came down to go to the Cheesecake Factory - family favourite, and spent a lesuirely hour just walking around after dinner. Overall it was a nice meander. Some shops, but mainly restaurants centred around a square and small fountain. Worth a visit if you’re dinning out, but probably not worth it if you’re not.

My kids never believe people actually read my reviews. So if this was helpful please give me your vote. It’s nice to prove them wrong occasionally

Great for city size

By trish |

Full of restaurants and bars and quality retail right in downtown West Palm Beach. It is safe and provides a pleasant environment. Immediately across form the convention center and Hilton and not far from local beach access. Offers many eating choices, great ambiance for evening dining.

Outstanding getaway to WPB

By Sergio Villabos |

Right across the street from my beautiful hotel #hiltonwpb there was a place where you just can do everything, eat, shop, sing, dance and more. Super recommended. #Cityplace @ WPB

Downhill

By John C |

The place is expensive parking is a joke. All i hear businesses tell me the greed of the owners is making it imposdible to make a living their the crime is bad. Too many cops which is a bad sign they are trying to make it family but alchohol is the anchor in tjis place.

Landscaping & Trash

By James M |

The flowers look great especially when they change them seasonally. But the need to have someone pick up the trash more. There was diapers and bottles and a bunch of trash in the parking garage's and in the bushes around it. And in the flower beds near the shops. It's just sad how buisnesses in City Place cant stay open for more than 6month to a year because of the cost of rent. Maybe that could be justified if they kept it cleaner and opened up more venues instead of a bunch of closed window fronts

Lots of fun options

By willpwr03 |

We came here while on family vacation and enjoyed ourselves for hours. Plenty of shops, food and activities. Something for everyone. Parking was a little pricey and lots of construction but a good sign for the local economy.

Music, food and fun!

By rainbug |

While "City Place" may technically be a small indoor/outdoor mall-type area in West Palm Beach, locals often refer to the area surrounding it as "City Place"/downtown West Palm Beach. There are many restaurants (the better ones are located outside of the mall area) but there is good music Friday nights, and a it is a really good place for a drink. Additionally, there are a lot of activities--from movies to bowling--and it is less than 15 minutes walk to the water where you can sit and watch boats and enjoy the breeze

Nice family friendly atmosphere

By Mahason D |

Great place to hang out on a date or with a family. Great place to meet people or just people watch. There are a lot of restaurants so enjoy the culture.

Poor Choice to Change the Name

By WPBLocal |

I am a local and have lived in WPB since City Place was first built. Why change the name? I have a suspicion of what you were thinking, but frankly you are just adulterating the word "Square". Boynton Beach did it too. However an outdoor mall of relatively expensive restaurants and chain stores with overpriced goods is not a "Square". What a shame.

Nice Place to Wander

By Isabel L |

Very nice place to walk around. Many restaurants, bars and shopping. If you need to wait for a reservation, sit and have a mojito or coffee, if that's what you prefer, and people watch.

It will be very nice

By Brian G |

It seems like the area is getting ready to bust loose Right now there are a number of places that are vacant but are about to be taken over by tenants. The area has some nice restaurants for sure and a movie theater. It is easy to walk around and feels very safe.

Nice surprise

By MARK A |

We originally planned a short getaway so we jumped on the bright line and headed to west palm beach. So we stayed close to the station and to our surprise we found City Place a outdoor mall with a really cool vibe.

Great downtown experience

By Darby1031 |

Great place to walk around and enjoy shopping and dining. Many great restaurants to choose from. There was some construction when I was there but once that is done it will quite nice.

Friendly and Accessible

By Matheus007 |

Nice pedestrian shopping area with plenty of eateries and stores. In the middle of West Palm Beach, CityPlace is a nice place for a stroll, eating, or people watching. Great for families, friends or just hanging out.

Business woman

By Annette E |

My niece and he husband were visiting from Canada. They wanted to be outdoors as much as possible so Rosemary Square was a wonderful shopping and entertainment location for an afternoon. Shopped in a paper shop for beautiful invitations for my party, and dined at The Cheesecake Factory. We really enjoyed walking and seeing the variety of shops. Can’t wait to visit again

Nice shopping area

By Sven W |

Nice area to visit. Many possibilities to buy clothing and dining in Cheesecake is recommended. Try the trolley ride

Fun times inWest Palm Beach

By alyxfern |

This is the place to enjoy music, art, culture, food and beverages and if course shopping! West Palm has lots to offer and this is one place where you get a lot of it! And until April 22nd,you don’t want yo miss the Downton Abbey exhibition only found at CityPlace!

Shops a bit overpriced

By bumbleberry68 |

A nice place to wander and get something to eat, but the shopping wasn’t up to much, was overpriced so didn’t pick up anything. Nicely decorated for Christmas and nice to sit out in the sun

A must-see if you’re in the area

By Kelly H |

Very quaint, pretty and a place to have lunch or dinner, enjoy some ice cream and then sit back for a cocktail. One can shop, too. Don’t miss the pretty “wishing tree.”

High End Shops and Restaurants

By Saluga |

This is a nice, safe place to walk around and check out all the shops and eateries. We parked on the street by a parking meter that only accepts quarters or credit cards, and had a two hour limit.

Lots of Stuff To Do

By Pamela S |

My husband and I drove to CityPlace in November of 2017. We parked in the parking structure - cost on a Sunday evening was about $2 per hour. We went to see a movie and have dinner. There are plenty of stores, water fountains to gaze at, a theatre with events and plenty of restaurants. There is even a grocery store at one of end of CityPlace. There are signs with maps showing the locations of stores/restaurants. CityPlace was busy when we were there. This shopping area is an open air mall - along a number of blocks in West Palm Beach. Most shops have a covered area outside their shops so if it is raining you can stay dry. I mention this as it began to rain while we were returning to our car.

Nice place to visit

By Paula J |

This is a great place to eat, walk and enjoy family time. There is easy access for parking. Also, they do different activities for the children in the summer.

Nice area to eat, shop, or just hit a bar. Seemed quite safe and clean. Large variety of restaurants and bars.

Beautiful place

Despite being under construction what a beautiful place to shop, lovely buildings, very colourful and pretty. There are lots of lovely restaurants and places to eat. Although the shops are like those in malls across the US these are laid out in a much nicer way than standard malls. The seasonal decorations were nice too.

Good place to shop, eat, bowl, go to bars and movies.

City place is in the middle of West Palm Beach. It is designed to look like an Italia Plaza, and it kind of does. It is usually busy with shoppers and tourists, going to the movies, the restraunts, the gym and the shops. It has all the favorites, like Panera, Starbucks, Rita's, Cheesecake factory, Mellow Mushroom, an ice cream shop and all kinds of other restaurants. Good date night stuff. Across the street is a huge Restoration Hardware with a resaurant on the top, which is fun. There is a big bowling alley with all the latest bowling alley bells and whistles. There are sometimes art shows, and family days, with activities for kids. Anthropologie is there, along with several other women's clothing stores, and some specialty shops. It is fun to go just walk around, get coffee or eat.

Seeing the Sights

Change is the word of my last visit. Finding a balance between stores, restaurants and apartments is causing constant upheaval. Future development will continue this constant change and that is not all good until the work is completed years from now. That having been said there are slot of wonderful things at Rosemary Square. Fun restaurants, Cheese Cake Factory, great ice cream parlor and a luxurious Movie Theatre.

Fun area

CityPlace is a pretty typical modern mixed use open air complex. It has casual restaurants and bars mixed with higher end retail and knick knack shops and some condos, too.

I came here in the middle of the day and it was dead - there was almost nobody else around and some of the stores weren't even open. The difference at night was amazing, as throngs of people and cars traversed the streets and there was loud music including some from live bands. The experience is clearly different depending on when you are there.

Although it's nice, it's also pretty generic; essentially indistinguishable from any number of other complexes in other urban areas.

Construction

Was looking forward to showing off City Place to out of towners. So much construction, unable to navigate the sidewalks.

More restaurants and bars then shopping. It is a cute area though. Too bad Macy’s is no longer there.
