Fresh vegis, fruit, flowers, pastry, and people watching make this a great go-to place on a Saturday morning

I love the small friendly atmosphere. Many of the farmers/vendors know our name and the market draws people and dogs of all ages. A great place to buy, walk, meet and spend Saturday morning in Corvallis. My favorites are Denisons, Fall City Bakery and Gathering Together Farms. Our 4 year old as well as my 73 year old husband loves the market.

The Corvallis farmers market has a great selection and is located along the Wilamette river. It's a beautiful walk and offers the best of this area. My favorite would be the flower vendors, you can get the most beautiful bouquets for $5 & $10.

The Farmer's Market in Corvallis is great for seeing people and being seen, for picking up fresh fruits and vegetables, tasting samples, choosing a bouquet of flowers, listening to music, grabbing breakfast or lunch, and just having a good time.

I'm a farmers' market junkie, and this is one of the best I've seen. Great produce! Only downside--it is always packed with 2-leggeds and 4-leggeds.

The Corvallis Farmers' Market has grown in size over the last few years. I hardly recognized it since I had not been in a couple of years. There are craft booths, soaps, honey, apparel, knife and garden tool sharpening, musicians, and every veggie, meats/poultry under the sun. Be prepared to park some distance away and walk. I'm partially disabled and it was a challenge to get through the crowds with my crutches. Might be better with a service dog or a wheelchair for some. But it's fun, vibrant and definitely worth a visit. My advice is to go early and then maybe go to lunch along the river. The market couldn't be held in a more beautiful spot.

always a good time with music and fresh food. never disappointed with the variety of fruits, vegetables and bakery items.

An amazing selection of local fresh produce, bread, cheese, flowers, meats and much more. Live music and people watching are an extra bonus.

I go to the market most Weds. during the summer and sometimes during the winter hours. The selection is excellent with a great variety of items. Produce vendors remember you and are very friendly and welcoming. The whole town pretty much turns out so there is lots of visiting and catching up. Music is pretty much a staple.

My daughter and I (new to Corvallis, OR) stumbled upon the Farmer's Mkt. on a Saturday morning as we were driving around looking for a parking spot downtown. We couldn't have had a better time. In addition to the vast choices of locally grown produce, there was some great food- freshly made crepes, Pupusas, Burritos, fresh jalapeno breads and a lot more. We ended up having brunch as we enjoyed watching all the dogs and their owners milling about in front of the large Grateful Dead inspired mural on Jackson ave.
If you haven't had Pupusas, this is a great place to try them. Take home bouquets of fresh or dried flowers on your way out.

The experiance that involves all the senses a human has at their disposal. One can smell the fresh baked breads , cookies, and treats of "Nibbling Nuthach , gluten free baked goods, or feast their eyes on the array of produce from Dension Farms, their ears will be giving a treat from local musicians serenading guest of the market, all this and much more varys and changes with the seasons .

The Corvallis farmers market is awesome! It's a fun place to just walk around and people watch and shop. What's so great about this place is you can actually do your entire shopping at this market. And it's not all premade food but vegetables, fruits, breads and fish, Meats and poultry as well.
Market also offers a venue for those with special crafts. I've never seen such a diverse collection of food and craft market and one farmers market. Very fun place to visit.

This is the place to go on Saturday and Wednesday mornings for the best organic produce! Local farmers and artisans present their wares in beautiful arrangements at fair prices.
You'll also find cheeses, honey, fresh fish from the Oregon Coast, sustainably raised meats, even handspun yarns, soaps, and other products.

I have gone to the Corvallis Farmers' Market dozens of times. Many organic farms, berry growers, orchards, florists, and others are well represented. Breads, pastries, honeys, relishes, salsas, cheeses, organic eggs, organically raised meats: beef, pork, lamb, chicken, sausages, and all kinds of other good foods are for sale there. You will not be disappointed. Did I mention there are also a number of food stands and carts there that will not disappoint?. OK then, have a good time!

It's a lively spot to visit on a Saturday morning. Parking can be challenging. But the locally grown organic produce is terrific. I also enjoy the cheeses, meats, mushrooms, and jams. Enjoy!

It was a fun stop where we were able to shop for fresh produce, specialty jerky and handmade soaps. With local coffee shops and bakeries nearby, we stopped in for a scone , and we were able to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Great farmer's market! Gorgeous, local, fresh fruits, veggies, meat, eggs, goodies and more! Kid and dog friendly.

We ALL loved the mkt! My son raved about it for 3 years! Fresh organic raspberries, blueberries,PLUS!

We go most Saturdays just for the community connection, lots of local providers with fresh yummy stuff, all kinds and levels of music and entertainment for all ages. If you're new to or visiting Corvallis, this and the co-op are an ideal introduction.

The market along 1st St., adjacent to the narrow riverfront park is open mid-April through Nov. Sat. & Wed. It's fun to talk to growers about their beautiful produce, listen to musicians, watch kids play in fountains....Easy walk to browse downtown shops and explore the lovely OSU campus. A "sister" Saturday farmer's market is in Albany near the river.

Excellent market full of flavors, scents, scenes and (today) sun! I was vacationing in Corvallis visiting friends and we spent Saturday morning at the Market. Loads of organic, locally grown and sustainably harvested produce, meats and sundries. I especially enjoyed the mini-pies and multiple samples of sausage, salads, jellies and fruits. We used vegetables and Italian sausage to make the next day's lunch -Tuscan style. It's a great way to spend Saturday morning.

Saturday mornings are a blast: music, food, friends. Also open, and quieter, on Wednesday mornings. Market moves indoors in winter.

Great produce, breads, meats, flowers and more! Knife and yard trimmer sharpening booth was an interesting and useful addition. Plus you’re in downtown so it’s easy to pop into restaurants, stores, etc.

You can walk through here and snack your way through with tastes of locals foods and produce. I enjoy going here in the summer and picking up my weekly produce. I also love to get my breakfast cupcake at Rocket Queen. They have a maple bacon one that is YUMMO!
What I don't love is the parking, the dogs and how close everything is. Sometimes it's a pain to get through with all the crowds, so the earlier you go the better.

A friend and I stopped in here on a rainy Saturday in January and were pleased to find quite a few booths. There was some lovely fresh produce, eggs and various other products. There were also a couple of booths selling ready to eat food.
I bought an English 'Earl Grey' tea cake with lime... quite good. My friend bought some homemade salsa. Most of the booths are inside a large building just to the west of the arena, and there were also a few booths outside. If it's wet, the parking area is kind of muddy.
I think they move back to the regular location in April.

Parking can be challenging, so take a walk! Along the riverfront you can find fresh and locally grown vegetables, fruit, meats, cheeses, mushrooms, flowers, baked goods and hand-made crafts. There's also honey, jam, and lunch you can order on the spot.

Friendly vendors; good music; good food; plenty of parking nearby. The park-like location, close to the river, adds to the positive experience.
There are public restrooms nearby, and the one drawback, over which the Farmer's Market folks have no control, are the vagrants who loiter there.
The Market is located close to many other shops and attractions; it's a wonderful place.

Great location next to the river. Good selection even thru the fall. Practically a one stop shop. This is my favorite city farmers market from pdx to roseburg

This little market was a wonderful experience. There are many vendors with fresh fruit, baked goods, meats and crafts. There are food vendors and an espresso vendor. There are musicians set up along the block, it is a scenic area as well as it is along the river. This is a MUST do if you are in the Benton County area!

The Corvallis-Albany Farmers' Market is full of great people, fresh organic local produce and amazing music! This is a market that bustles with activity from begin to end. This is where I stock up on grass-fed, no antibiotic, no hormone beef and lamb, fresh veggies and fruit, flowers, honey and so much more. The artisan area expands every year and offers an eclectic array of handmade crafts and funky stuff.

Excellent way to buy healthy food - vegetables & fruit in season, organic or close to it - and support the local economy at the same time.

Always a treat. The market has the freshest vegetables and fruits. The strawberries, blueberries, blackberries are from local farms and always fresh and delicious. Also, since it is on the waterfront in downtown Corvallis, it is near restaurants. Usually can find free parking, but the metered parking is reasonable.

This is a typical Farmers' Market. Everything is fresh. The variety is amazing: bread, meat, cheese, soup, craft items, honey, mushrooms and music. The vendors are friendly and willing to take time to talk. Right now, the market is indoors at the Benton County Fairground with some vendors outside.
It is a fun howbeit crowded venue. Take time to visit, it's well worth the time and a perfect time to purchase fresh veggies.
There are restroom facilities available.

Nice farmer's market two days a week Wed/Sat. Friendly vendors with beautiful produce. Vendors have samples that make you swoon with the great taste. One of highlights of our visit. Very easy walking distance from our hotel or the free public parking.

This is a great market on the Corvallis waterfront. Easy-going and relaxed, it is always fun to wander down the main street (there are also stalls on several side streets) and watch people and see the beautiful, colorful stalls selling organic fruits and vegetables, mushrooms, home-made jams, organic meats etc. There are also craft stands on the southend, along with an excellent knife sharpener and a few food stalls. Leashed dogs are welcome and you can hang out listening to the always present musicians. Lots of local restaurants and breweries within walking distance if you are looking!

If you want a pleasant stroll, go to the downtown Farmers Market. It is dog friendly and you will meet many pleasant people during your visit. Great selections on fruits and vegetables, honey, and other crafts.

I love hanging out at the Corvallis Farmer's Market on Saturdays. The atmosphere is lively, festive and great for all ages. The produce is outstanding and the baked goods are super delicious. Fun / Fun / Fun.

The market is a fun place to go on a nice day. We get to see a lot of people we know and taste some samples of a lot of good food and fruit. The Blue Raven Pies are the best ever. We used to have to drive to Amity to get them but now they are at the market. The market is fun but expect to pay high prices for fruits and vegetables. I always get caught up on how good they look and buy them anyway.

I was staying at an Airbnb north of Corvallis during the workweek and noticed the farmer's market in Corvallis had Wednesday morning hours, so made a stop. It's a mid-sized operation (compared to Portland) but features many fresh farm produce and the cheese, meat, and specialty booths found elsewhere. Highlight was discovering an El Salvadoran food vender selling papusas--it was really excellent food and very affordable and was a serious upgrade of my trail lunch. Well worth a stop!

For a relatively smaller farmer's market, they have everything here. I have been several times and this time settled on a loaf of sourdough cranberry hazelnut bread from the Alpine Bakery and the three of us shared a lemon thyme donut from another local bakery. There are also food vendors and usually music going on as well. This takes place right by the river that runs through town, and there is also a fountain the kids can play in if the weather is hot. There are also restaurants along 1st street and you are very close if you wish to walk into the downtown area. The produce, as always in Oregon, is beautiful, and the vendors here present it beautifully as well. If you are looking for the sights and sounds of Oregon, this is the place!

Lots of people on Saturday. There are lots of different fresh vegetables and fruits. The price looks more expensive. than in the supermarket, Sometimes you can find some Asian vegetables you seldom find in the supe market, such as garlic shoots, broad beans, etc.

I am a kid. Let me tell you, being out there for an hour is okay. Just don’t drag your kids out there after a soccer game when all they want to do is go home. Definitely
recommend the lemonade.

Not the biggest Farmer's Market--but it was the first outside date and it was April. But so much fun to stroll and soak up the friendly and laid-back atmosphere of Corvallis. Apparently, the time to show off your pooch. Oh, and the produce was outstanding!

I can get fresh seasonal veggies, flowers and plants almost year round! Eggs and local meats are also available. Plus Saturday morning breakfast at the market is my favorite meal of the week!

While called a Farmer's Market, it's much more. Lots if crafts and household items made by local artists. There's often music. Dogs are welcome as long as they're not in food stalls. Wonderful place to visit and buy fresh produce. Benefits local families instead of corporations

This market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays on the riverfront in Corvallis from mid-April through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The Wednesday market has fewer vendors than the Saturday. All products are from the near-by region. Prices will for the most part be higher than what you will pay in a local supermarket but the selection of fruits, vegetables, meats and other food-related goods is sometimes greater. Vendors are very willing to share advice about use of their products.

Excellent market many stalls for blocks along the river. Great place, friendly, fresh produce, entertainment and people watching.

Came here last Saturday with girlfriend and we had a great time. There are tons of vendors with huge selections of produce, breads, meats, and crafts.
We were especially happy to find fresh fish from the nearby coast being sold. We purchased quite a bit of that and the quality was top notch.
I highly recommend this for your weekly shopping or just for a stroll one summer morning. Its terrific!

Corvallis has an absolutely lovely Farmer's Market. Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, you can stroll along the riverfront and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of this friendly and lively market. Offering a little bit of everything from produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, plants, artisans and music, it's sure to please everyone's tastes. And there are plenty of things to sample, as well as plates of food you can buy to enjoy a meal while there. There's also an indoor version throughout the winter at the Fairgrounds.

The outdoor Corvallis farmer's market opened this morning for the 2016 season. I love going here for the excellent fresh veggies, eggs, plants, honey, bread, flowers and meat. Prices are what you expect to pay for high quality organic foods. $4 a pint for perfect local strawberries isn't that bad, though. And $6 for an 18-count carton of free-range eggs is reasonable. This market is very much all about the produce, and not so much about selling crafts, like some markets might be.
If you dislike shopping among young families with strollers, couples with leashed dogs greeting one another, and buskers set up here and there, then you should do your shopping at one of the two co-op locations in town. But I love the vitality of people with kids and dogs, and music everywhere. I go to this whenever my Saturdays allow it, and always try to get there before 10:30.

I really enjoy all the fresh fruits and veggies. The staff is also VERY well informed on when to come back for a certain item. Only complaint is the price, but it's worth it for fresh.

Corvallis Farmers' Market has all locally-grown goods, is in a beautiful location, has diverse offerings and is a manageable size. Very friendly. Lots of good shops and restaurants nearby too. It's a wonderful morning's outing for locals or visitors.

Spent a good couple of hours with some friends in the farmers market. There was a great selection of food and craft products. It was great to have lots of tasting opportunities and the stall holders are really friendly.

Great food and produce shopping and equally fun people watching, The dogs on leash get to meet and greet around 10 am on Saturdays. Sustainable and organic foods are abundant. Certainly local products such as filberts, cheese, and produce. It is also open on Wednesday as well as Sat. Not nearly as many people especially young families. It is great for all ages. We go about every week.

The Corvallis Farmers Market has something for everyone. Fresh produce, eggs (both chicken and duck), flowers and plants, honey, and meats including rabbit, beef, pork, and chicken. Several of the meat vendors sell cuts - if you don't want the whole chicken, you can by some legs or chicken tenders.
Local musicians play, various organizations provide educational opportunities, craftsman sell their wares, and freshly cooked food can be purchased.
In the summer the market takes place on First Street, alongside the river. The setting is quite beautiful. When the weather is hot, young children enjoy romping through the water fountain.

Going to the Corvallis Farmer’s Market has always been one of my favorite outings and it keeps getting better. The produce, meats, and poultry I buy are the best I have found locally. There are many food booths to enjoy a treat or a meal and I never leave without something from the Breadboard or the Pupusaria.

Corvallis has a great farmer’s market on Wed and Sundays . Local/organic producers. Pets-Friendly. Colorful, fun! Great program for a sunny day!

Go to visit the Corvallis farm market is enjoy a pretry good experience at this place. The visit began trying to get an apple but we got more that it.. we got cheese stories... we got our names in a plate listening an old man sharing his stories about his life on board of navy.
We enjoy a great orange juice and good music..
Finally one of the most beautiful apples on my life come to me..
Search a green apple gave to us a great good time.
I really recomend it...come with cash and back pack.. wearing confortables shoes and sunglasses.. thats it.

I appreciate the opportunity to get local produce at a convenient venue. And that is why I go, and the market mostly delivers on that expectation. I do find it a little too self consciously cute- too many people with their dogs, too many muscians, too much many self-admiring types with too much time and money.

A Wednesday late morning stroll through the market the eyes are met with bright colors attractively stacked to lure you in to see what is what. Lots of different farms offering all sorts of fresh tasty adventures - eggs, honey, applesauce - as well as vegetables and fruit. A feast for the eyes, and for the shopping basket!

If there is such a thing as the perfect Farmer's Market then it is the Corvallis Market! Lovely location on the water front, amazing selection, so much to chose from. Come early or a lot of things are gone, Corvallis loves its market. Fruit, Vegetables, Cheese, Wine, Honey, Meats, Breads, such a variation and so many choices, artisan, organic, local.

Friendly environment. Many local vendors. Prices are not quite as friendly overall but a few fair deals. Often get to shop to the sounds of local music groups. Bakery items are almost always great!

This a fun way to spend your Saturday mornings in Corvallis. Every Saturday, downtown, along the riverfront, you can browse different booths and see what the local vendors have to offer.

I love this farmers market it has something for everyone. Beautiful produce that is very well priced and not as expensive as some other local farmers markets. They have gorgeous flowers and every vegetable you can think of. There are a lot of homemade jams, jellies. and syrups. The food is great if you are looking for something to eat after stocking up on your produce for the week. I highly recommend!

Lots of great eats here, focus is on organics. There's a few crafty type booths here, most have pretty good stuff. Chatting up the locals is a blast, and there's a few great breakfast places a couple of blocks off if you're wanting the early bird start. Just remember to wear your walking shoes. ONE word of caution...bicyclists tend to like to "share the sidewalk" with pedestrians. Most are great, but be careful for the occasional wild rider!

Eat at zia for the best breakfast burrito (and homemade tortillas) in town while shopping for local produce thats in season.

Nice spread of locally grown vegetables. Love their carrots... very sweet on it's own. Vegetables are fresh and crunchy all by itself. There might be sauces and honey as well. Worth a trip on a Saturday morning.

My girlfriend and I go weekly to the Saturday market. Make sure to bring cash as not all stands accept cards, and enjoy the fresh produce.

We love to go the Corvallis Saturday market and pick out some nice fresh veggies and bread. Soon we will be able to pick up more types of fruit and berries also. It can get a little crowded when the weather is nice, especially with dogs and strollers navigating the street. But I love seeing the many dogs and little kids enjoying the market too. No one is excluded and everyone always seems to be happy. There are many good musicians playing a variety of music to keep things lively. Parking downtown is also crowded so get there early to find the best spots. We usually go somewhere for breakfast, and then head to the market as soon as it opens at 9:00am.

There are so many vendors to choose from and musicians to serenade you. Along the riverfront is a perfect setting and beside the interactive fountain where little children shout with glee as they run through the water. Buy something to eat, take a seat on a bench, and enjoy the community!

There's nothing not to like. Parking can be tough, but the fact that it's along the river is lovely! So many choices of wares and great people!

Filberts, carrots, 40 types of beans, berries galore, every fresh vegetable possible, free-range eggs, handcrafted cheese, home made pies and pastries, wild mushrooms, food ready to eat, a knife sharpener and even knit caps for the cooling weather. The Corvallis Farmer's Market does not disappoint. Saturday morning is when it's at its best. Tuesday mornings for those items you forgot to pick up.

Local and fresh held twice a week - Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Great food and products, but pretty spendy for college students looking to buy eco consciously. Everyone is extremely friendly and its right along the waterfront.

We love going to the Farmers market - Local, organic, fresh food - farm to table doesn't get better than that.

This market has an abundance of organic/sustainably farmed produce; growers are often also the vendors and can provide details on produce/production practices. Many non-certified growers do not apply pesticides to actual product which expands the options. I've visited multiple farmer markets in Northern Virginia and they all pale compared to this one! Market is Wed. 9-1 p.m. and Saturday 9-1 p.m. The Wed. market is one block long, the Saturday market is about 4 blocks of vendors, including a lot of crafts and food vendors. An hour on Wed., at least a couple of hours on Saturday are needed.

This has been an ongoing and consistent source of excellent produce and products with some interesting services, including knife sharpening, etc. Great high energy, music and a great place to visit on your Saturday weekend

I really liked this farmer's market. It was literally 2 blocks from my hotel (Rodeway Inn) and they had a good selection of produce, mostly organic! It's a shame I didn't have access to a stove but I did have a fridge and micro so I bought some cherry tomatoes which were really good! I also picked up 2 bars of organic soap which I have yet to try but I will say the lack of sales tax on the soap really helped my strained budget! Overall, they had a good selection of produce and other products for a good price so if I vacation in Corvallis again I will definitely come back! Oh, the market isn't open in winter, F.Y.I.

It was Wednesday and we 've been recommended to visit this place. It was great, many stalls with fresh veg, fruit, flowers, even ready meals, bakery goods etc. Great place for locals and visitors like us - we bought mushrooms and potted flowers which ended in my husband cousin's garden.

This market is pretty big...flowers, meats, fruits and vegetables, jellies and honeys, bread and cheese and other organizations letting you know who they are. Along the riverfront so park within a 3 block radius and youll still be nearby, musicians sprinkled throughout...great products...good time.

The absolute hub of town on a Saturday. A great place to stroll and people watch and of course to get amazing fresh food. There are always young musicians there testing out their performing skills while fund raising and a great artist's fair of booths. You can easily spend a couple of hours taking it all in and then relaxing by the river snacking on all the fresh produce you just bought. Not to be missed.

By far the best market I've ever been to. It's hard to describe the atmosphere at this market. Lively, thriving and unique.

Spending the summer in Corvallis (my hometown) we looked forward to visiting the Farmer's Market every Wednesday and Saturday. It was just a short walk from the house and a delight twice a week! The proprietors are amazing and booths well stocked with the most luscious bounty I have ever seen. We always leave with an armful of fruits and vegetables. You would think my partner and I are not slim, the way we search out great desserts (something hard to find), you know, like grandma used to bake. We love fresh local fruit desserts, as in pies and cobblers- something we don't get in Arizona. At the Farmers Market in Corvallis we found the best pies I have ever had- outside of a grandmother's pies (who passed away years ago). With an amazing variety of berries you will never taste anything so wonderful. The Marionberry was a winner and the most sold. The price was steep- at $15.00 a pie, and $5.00 for a small pie. But before you balk- let me say, they are worth every single penny! The crust was phenomenal and the filling indescribable. WOW! The best experience of my summer eating- bar none! The booth is Blue Raeven Farms, Amity Oregon. I am pretty sure I have the name correct- they were the only pie booth and from Amity (I am back in AZ now). My photos are from years past- but each visit is similar.

Great mix of vendors and products. When I take my daughter we always find something interesting and have a good time together. It’s fun to learn about the vendors and talk about sustainable agriculture with the organic farmers. We are fortunate to have so many farmers in the area that are willing to participate in the Farmer’s Market.

Shortly after arriving in Corvallis my daughter and grandkids suggested that we take advantage of a picture perfect weekend to visit the market. I was quite taken by the wonderful selections and an atmosphere of a neighborhood stroll. I made several purchases to include local wine and homemade cheese. A must do on any nice day.

The Market embodies all those things one finds wholesome in this sort of venue. Sure, you could find many of the products elsewhere but there is no straight up comparison. A peach picked that morning, ripe on the tree, just can't be compared to that peach object on a store shelf; the same can be said of the blueberries, cabbages, lettuce, tomatoes, and on-and-on . . . Quality entertainment is usually present to boot plus what a fantastic atmosphere present on the banks of the Willamette.

I come here for a good exposure to what types of harvest are available in the Mid Willamette Valley. People are smiling and kind to each other. Water fountain is a great magnet for kids. Nice breakfast/lunch food options also. The size is just about right for Corvallis. I like this market.
However, I come here for Cuban Salsa Dancing. This year, it was once per month. Wonderful people from Rumbanana put together Stree Salsa Dancing, "Rueda en la Calle" from 11 AM to 1 PM. Great energy, fun people, and many people coming from Eugene, Salem, and Portland, too. What a nice addition to farmers' market!
Love the farmer's market!
Good food, fresh produce, friendly people, nice location along the river. And it's dog friendly, too.
