Bigger pool! Clean up areas around long term rvs. Better maintenance , more room between rvs. Be more honest in on line presentation.

Took 4 hours from Gainesville GA to get to a 7 hour trip down Flint River and we could have stayed 7 more. StoppIng several times along the way looking for artifacts. We saw blue heron, turtles, deer, turkey, king fisher, and even an alligator for a few seconds. We found lots of fossils and even a sharks tooth! The owner of the outpost was really nice. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a day trip. However, our return trip will be for a weekend stay camping. Wear water shoes. Take plenty of sunscreen & bug spray. Pack a cooler and enjoy!

Relax and enjoy

Due to no rain. The Flint River was very low...but perfect for a canoe trip. My friend, and I ventured out using the Flint River Outpost. We took a 4 hour 8 1/2 mile journey. It was relaxing, yet adventurous. We even got to swim! I loved it! Yes it is scorching hot. Be sure to carry at least 1 gal of h2o per person. Lots of rocks in the Flint. pay attention. You will survive. more info on the flint @ anngill.blogspot.com
the price is $40 we paid 20 a piece

Fishing/boat ride

What a beautiful river! Fishing was good and the boat ride fun! We saw beautiful birds and an alligator swimming by the shore. The water hyacinths were in bloom were gorgeous along with lots of elephant ears growing along the banks. Visit anytime you can. Its a clean river, to the help of the Flint River Keepers.
