Spent my 60th birthday tubing at this awesome park with my husband & daughter. Amazingly organized & friendly operation gave more opportunities for tubing down hills, rather than waiting in lines. The cost of tubing includes the magic carpet moving walkway, which was a huge plus for conserving energy usually spent to reach the top of a hill. Attendants at the top gave an extra push, or spin after verifying preference with riders. We found that rides with 2-3 tubes tied together traveled faster & much further down the runs. The only thing that would make this park absolutely perfect would if there was a steeper drop (or two) from the top for more daring riders...like me!

Went to the adventure park for disc golf, found the 18 hole course to be top notch with a lot of variety. Some holes were long, some short, some tough and easy. A really well rounded course over all. And beautiful scenery all around!

Our adult son asked for a family tubing trip for his birthday, and this is where we ended up! It was a really great experience! There were 9 people in our party - ranging in ages from 3 - 51, and it was a good time for everyone! The Littles were finished tubing after an hour, so g'ma and g'pa took them into the lodge for hot cocoa while the Bigs continued tubing. The magic carpet was such a blessing! All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and professional. They even offer a military discount! Thanks for that!

Our kids are 10, 13, & 14 and while we enjoyed tubing a few times... an hour and $125 was much longer and more than it was fun for. We didn't do the snowshoeing trails because... it's a $5 rental per person and $7 entrance fee at the state parks.

This place has something for everyone - alpine skiing, skiing lessons, tubing. It is well organized and busy. Reservations are highly recommended as some activities sell out or have a longer wait time.
There’s an on site restaurant that offers basic foods - sandwiches, pretzels (not table service)
We had a great time doing the tubing. The tubing experience is sold by an hour block, and it’s pretty regimented. Staff was helpful and friendly. Well organized establishment.

Great time! We had a group of seven and got there around 445 (they even let us push our 4 o'clock reservation back without a problem) and it was easy going from there. There were a lot of people but the lines moved quickly as they have five slopes open. You can ride individually or they can show you how to harness to each other (up to 4 at a time). A fun way to start a vacation. Bring your GoPro!

Had a great time tubing at Frisco Adventure Park in Frisco, Co.
We will definitely be going back!
Also enjoyed the town of Frisco - shopping and dining.

We went to the bike park with grandchildren ages 10 and 12. They had a wonderful time and it was perfect for their ability. It is free and not crowded. There are too areas for young children and they can watch the advanced bike riders so they keep trying more difficult terrain. It was fun for us to watch.

Stopped by for some tubing with my daughter, we had a blast and scenery was gorgeous. James was super nice and gave very helpful tips for our visit here.

So you book a time of one hour which is not great because you have to get dressed (10 mins) watch a 4 min video, walk 5 mins to the tubes another 3 mins to ride of the magic carpet, a 5-10 minute wait in line.

the math is
10 mins to get dressed (first time only)
+ 4 min video (first time only)
+ 5 min walk from the main building till you get your tube (only once)
+3 ,min magic carpet ride
+5-10 min wait in late

essentially have your time is used up.
you can do about three rides down in one hour.

This free park offers biking and walking paths, disk golf, a skateboarding park and biking park. Very popular with the locals. Tubing in the winter.

We went snow tubing at the Frisco Adventure Park and had a great time. The staff was really helpful and friendly and did all they could to make sure everything was safe and fun.

So many fun things to do here on the peninsula. Come and skate, bike, disc golf, play soccer or baseball... Snowboard, tube, etc.

By jinniferw123 |

Great place for family fun! Snow tubing hills are well groomed and they even have a lift to take you back to the top. Ask the guys to give you a spin before pushing you off. HANG on for a great ride!

By texang6 |

Our kids enjoyed riding on the BMX trails in the summer. We didn't see much in the way of other organized activities, but the location and weather were nice. It looks like the tubing hill would be lots of fun in the winter and we will be back to give it a try.

By Champion_32 |

We went tubing for the first time at this location and had a good time. Conditions were windy and cold so it was not the best weather to give it a try. Still kids had a good time and so did adults. Be nice if there were more hills to choose from. Overall good time but somewhat pricey for a family outing.

By Mom2Twincesses |

The weather was rough the day we were there, but we made the most of it! The tubing hill and ski slope use the same conveyor belt and 1 hr for tubing was plenty for us! We played in the snow while we waited for our scheduled time.

By ricky v |

While in Breckenridge we had a day off skiing, in the morning we and the kids decided to go snow tubing. The park is good fun for all adults and kids, it may get a bit crowded at peak times. Definitely a good 2 hours of fun.

By Mary I |

My husband and I went with two young adults and we almost spent the time in the cozy and warm lodge when we saw the size of the tubing runs. Was being 60+ too old to enjoy tubing? But we decided to give it a try and so glad we did. It was way too much fun to miss. The staff managed the lines very well and were very pleasant and nice while they did it. Really a fun time and I'm so glad we didn't chicken out. A nice side benefit was being up on the small mountain where we could really enjoy seeing all the big beautiful mountains around us.

By Janet F |

This fun place has both winter and summer activities. They feature disc golf, skateboarding, biking in the summer, and awesome tubing in the winter. You can picnic, hike nearby, and there are awesome views everywhere.

By melissakoniver |

Tubing was fun. Exhausting due to walking with a tube but it was nice. Came during spring when it was 40-something outside so the runs weren't great but the staff was EXCELLENT. They were accommodating and kind. Great for kids and families

By 3busyboys |

Our whole family had a blast! We have 3 boys ages 8, 5 and 2 and we all had so much fun! I likes that it was something that all of the boys could do with us. Very fast, fun and affordable!

By OJT1 |

An hour tubing was $25 well spent. Just a quick drive from Breckenridge, Frisco Adventure Park was simple, equipped, and fun! Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, and the Magic Carpet that takes you up the hill is a lifesaver.

Tip: 4+ tubes linked together is fast and definitely the way to go!

By CharlieinTexas |

Family friendly. Clean and well maintained. Kids had a blast. Go down alone or in a group. Lodge/snacks at bottom. Lots of parking.

By 86IdahoVandal |

Highly recommend the Frisco Nordic Center for cross country skiing lessons and great groomed trails. The family really liked the tubing and the free sledding hill. Great time outdoors and fun had by all.

By chamdexor |

You get 1 hour. You may get 3 runs- that's it. The way they do reservations means in any 15 minute increment, there could be as many as 80+ people vying for 4 runs.

There is a line at the bottom of the belt because they have to check the time tag.

Then the belt moves very slow up to the top.

Then there's a line at the top (think of a waterslide), but this goes even slower because each rider at the bottom of the hill has to walk across each lane whereas a waterslider can exit a pool at any point in front of them. So no new riders can descend until all previous riders have crossed over all lanes. The total riding time is about 30 seconds.

After 2 runs, I was done because it had already taken 45 minutes just to do that. So 1 minute of tubing, 44 minutes of waiting, $40 pp. No thanks.

Find a hill, buy a couple $5 sleds from the grocery and ride as much as you want.

By TXTraveller1974 |

Our kids enjoyed the sledding hill more than the snow tubing; the tumble bubbles were lots of fun. My husband was not happy with the snow tubing staff when they refused to allow him to take photos from the side pathway; he was told it was for "safety reasons;" however the snow tubers were using the pathways to get back up the hill.

By Whitman3590 |

First time out with wife. Helpful staff. More trails then we needed. Close to town. Happy hour daily 2-5. Afternoon inside overrun by school teams. Would go again.

By Melissa J |

We had a 6 year old and 8 year old and they loved it. They could have kept going after an hour, but we adults were wore out! We were able to go down 8 times. Definitely would recommend!

By Chris D |

Our 9 year old LOVED riding his bike here. We spent full afternoons at this park, packed a lunch, he and older brother rode the pump track, worked up to the the dirt jump facility. The day lodge is right there so relaxing place for parents to lounge (there are lockers and restrooms). This is right on a bike path that takes you into Frisco too. Older son and I would ride into town for food (probably ten minutes each way) and bring it back our where we’d sit at picnic tables and have lunch. Best part, doesn’t cost a dime! It was perfect for our family and our kids who love to bike.

By millimania |

We wish they'd offer an annual pass so we could go more often. Both the kids and adults had a blast. The staff was super friendly.

By avalancheman2015 |

The tubing hill is just average. It is fun the first couple times but then gets kind of boring. One hour is definitely enough. Friendly staff and well groomed hill.

By OKlawdog |

What great fun. The staff was very nice. The lodge was nice and warm after tubing. We only did it for an hour and we had a great time. Easy to locate. Parking was easy as well. We went early so not as many people. We were able to slide 6 times in an hour. Cocoa at the lodge was delicious. What a great time.

By TravellerKHN |

While staying in Breckenridge we visited this adventure park. Make sure you make a booking as we heard a lot of disappointed people being turned away. What a fun place to go! My family of 4 went tubing and we had so much fun! My 4 year old went up and down no problems, even going down by her self. The hour session definitely got us plenty of goes up and down. I would recommend going there when you are next in town!

By Ashleigh W |

Snow tubing was over-priced. The hills are not even that steep and they are not even long enough to enjoy. It takes 10 seconds to tube down a hill and about 15 minutes to get back to the top. We paid $25 per person for 1 hour and only got to go down the hill 4 times!!! The staff were friendly however. They also let you call ahead and reserve a block of time. Overall, I think its pricey for snow-tubing.

By DrAnnHouston |

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days at the adventure park. The first day we enjoyed the tubing (our ages 5-67) and the second day our first time skiers (5 and 8 yes) had a great time and came away with confidence in their new ski skills.
Thanks to the helpful staff!!

By Jackie M |

This adventure park has an awesome free sledding hill. Don't find a lot of free things to do in the mountain towns in winter so this is a plus. There is a tubing/ski hill at the park with a magic carpet lift but we just used the sledding hill, and had an amazing time.

By Trish R |

So much fun to tube at the Frisco Park. They got us in on a cancellation and prices were average to the area.
The tubing hill had 5-6 hills with different degrees of speed and height.
It was sooooo much fun.

By Christopher C |

Unreal loved the place <3 the people were so welcoming, temperature was great outside and it enhanced the experience.

By lovestobike |

We have owned a vacation home in Frisco for about 21 years. I have only visited the adventure park in the winter to go tubing. I have spent the last 3 days hiking the many trails you can access here at the park. There is great parking, and trails that lead to the lake as well as along the ridge. You can also ride mountain bikes on the terrain park as well as the many trails around the peninsula. The trails are well maintained and it certainly is only a few minutes from Frisco.

By Joethetraveler_12 |

Great service and activities. Snow Tubing was extremely fun and safe. The tubes are well cared for and safe to use. Dinner Sleigh Ride was excellent. Ivan our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgable. Dinner was hearty and tasty. Mr. David Peel was the entertainer for the evening. He sang classic country songs and a few of his own. Great evening for family and couples. Great value for your money. Entire time spent was approximately 2 hours.
Cross country skiing classes are also available.

By Su Qi Y |

The supervisor is very kind and welcoming! I am so excited to snow tubing here. Great place to come and easy to navigate.

By L W |

Great family fun! Our group of 17 ages 5 to 60. We all had a blast! Tubing hill was very efficiently run although they could have used a few more people to help at the top . We will definitely go back again.

By NewRibena |

Our ages ranged from 2 to 50 something and fun was had by all. For a wilder and faster ride, connect multiple tubes and ask to be spun.

By DanisaSuarez |

We had a blast and the hills were different. You could also do a variety of things with your tube like come down alone tied up with another or four. They also had the giant plastic bubbles you can get inside and roll around.

By Brian G |

Looking for a fun alternative to skiing and the standard fare of activities at the major ski resorts? This park offers a tubing hill that is simply a blast! Up to 4 tubes can combine and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for the related family fun that can be had. Kids through middle aged adults all find this a fun few hours and they make new snow every night of the season. Highly recommend if in the area!

By Kpeder1 |

It was a blast! I'm 5 months prego and one of the only things safe enough for me to do while here. So much fun. Service is great

By Kim H |

Tubing was soo much fun! We had a large group ages 5-58 & everyone had a blast! The lodge provided a place to rest & warm up with delicious snacks! A must to add to your activity list if visiting this area!

By Charley S |

We made reservations for tubing in the afternoon, but the staff called to say it had warmed up and the snow was too slow to be fun. They offered us a full refund of our deposit. The human hamster balls were out, so we paid for the kids to take a turn in those. It was a blast for them and very amusing for the parents to watch. There was no line after then, so they got loads of extra time

By evilalva |

What a great time. Quick free bus trip from Breckenridge and short walk. Great little area with lockers and a quick snack. Its a must stop in Frisco.

By Idalys |

Reasonably priced family friendly activities. Lots of fun with beautiful views!!! I suggest to call in advance and make a reservation. Hot dogs and Chilli very tasty 👌

By Julie H |

Spring snow can be a double edged sword... On one hand the weather was beautiful with plenty of sunshine and we only needed light jackets.. On the other the snow was a bit slushy... And slower...

We had a great time and the lines were very short for a Saturday afternoon.. All of the employees were a pleasure... We observed Ken working with a young boy who was quite scared his first run down... He was was a pro by the end of the afternoon... Ken also took a couple family photos for us.. Great guy.

One of the reasons we stopped was to try the Zorbs... They are owned by a different company and they DON'T let you roll down a hill... Bummer... They also looked pretty dirty... We did not try them out..

By Kimberly R |

Check out the snow tubing hill - it’s a lot of fun! Connect together and go even faster. The attendants say the afternoon is one of the best times to go. After sundown it gets slick and you can fly down the lanes. Snow tubing is always a good plan :)

By Mary Ann E |

We went with our grandkids and adult children. We had visited last year also, so had an idea what to expect. We had made reservations in advance, WHICH YOU must DO! We went midday, and there were no available slots the rest of the day, which could be a real bummer. The slots are for an hour, which is really plenty time and I think the slots are every 10-15 minutes.
The park is located south? If Frisco on the main road. There is a fair amount of parking, but it’s also for the sledding and cross country skiing.
The cost was about$28/person.
There were six runs, some higher or steeper than others. There is staff at the top to assist with spinning or grouping the tubes together. I was really impressed with the staff, they were friendly and patient!
To get up the hill is a “magic carpet”, which was easy on and off. In that hour, it is pretty easy to get 6 rounds in, my 6 year old grandsons said they went 8 times...
There is a nice waiting area, snack bar, rest room located on site.
Hope for the opportunity to do this again!

By Kimberly S |

It was so much gun! Wish it was just longer! Friendly staff! Gloves are needed! We went around 2:30 and weather was perfect, and sunglasses helped too!

By World2Dream |

This place was great for tubing and sledding. We went to Copper Mountain to tube and spent much of the time in line. The distance up the hill was long but we didn't spend a whole lot of time standing, waiting. They have a hill that's great for sledding. Bring your sled and enjoy!

By Virginia C |

Such fun family tubing, our kids first time seeing and playing in snow and they had a blast! Thank you Frisco!

By Amy O |

About 20 minutes past keystone. 25 per person , which is a good bit cheaper than Keystone, and worth every penny.

By david_hance_iowa |

I stopped and toured the Frisco Park because I saw it on the East side of Highway 9 on the South end of Frisco. It is a dirt skate park but it is the best one I have ever seen. There are picnic tables with canopies. There is a big free parking lot. There are other activities for the active athlete.

By Kelly J |

We came w/o children and previous injuries that would not have responded well to tubing nor bubble waring.

But we did cross country skii.
It was flat, groomed and had few trees. I wondered if it was logged or if a fire took all of the mature trees.
Lots of rabbit tracks, occasional benches were welcomed by this beginner. The maps were good and the paths well marked, but we chose not to return.

By Ildi B |

We are a family of 4 and tubed for an hour - which was $100! Had a lot of fun and everyone is very friendly. A good workout, make sure you are well dressed for the weather though.
The kids also did the hubble bubble, which they enjoyed a lot - another $16 for 5 minutes :)

By Jayden C |

Thank you Sarah for your flexibility with our birthday party! We were late because of the bad roads and you were gracious and accommodating! This is a top notch place and people like you are what makes it special.
This was our son's Sledding birthday party... great value, great service and so much fun!
We will be back!

By Denise W |

Went tubing a the adventure park. It was a lot of fun, there were 4 tubing hills, but they were all the same. It would have been cool if there was a little variation between the hills, but it was a blast nonetheless. Was a bit pricey.

By SUMIT Y |

Wonderful place for kids and families. We had a fun time and enjoyed our time at Frisco Adventure Park (Specifically Tubing Hill). Tickets are reasonable priced and snow hills/tubing lanes are well maintained & operated; park only provides single tubes. Tubing is extremely popular item and slots are sold out most of the days, so advice to book same in advance (months), we got our tickets in last moment after someone cancelled.
One recommendation would be to manage time better, in 1 hr. we only got 3-4 times to do tubing-Crowd and lot of people take time to get pushed or taking pic on the top of tubing hill/lanes, based on our time and fun we had in the park I will surely recommend same to family and friends.

By ultrapilot |

We did the tubing and it is just a blast! $25 you get your own tube and then head for the moving carpet which takes you to the top of the hill. You then select one of 5 different slides down. If you ask the friendly staff will spin you or tie a group of tubes together so you go down as a spinning group! Fun and lots of laughs.

By Eduardo S |

Had a great time with the Kids on the Tubing. James on the Cafe was great!!

The Tubing was super. Cant wait to come back.

By Worldtravelerabm |

As you're driving along highway 9 you can't miss this place. The snow tube hills are visible from the highway. The surrounding scenery is amazing. Of course, I primarily went here in order to experience the snow tubing. I paid for an hour and probably was able to ride down the hill about 6 times total due to the fact that there were lots of people here at the same time due to the holidays. However it was worthwhile and I really enjoyed the experience of tubing down the hill in the snow. I was surprised at how intense the experience was. I didn't realize snow tubing could be like that, but I was going downhill so fast that it made me a little nervous because if I would've fallen off at any moment I'm sure it would've been a guaranteed injury. But don't let that deter you from trying it: there were kids and old folks riding down the hill. The staff was very friendly and helpful all along the way and the guys helping push you off the top of the hill definitely seem to be enjoying their jobs.
If you have kids or are an adult no bigger than around 210 lbs you can also try zorbing in the snow (which looks pretty cool). The lodge itself has a cozy area to chill out and they have lockers and restrooms available. It's only a short drive to Breckenridge for anyone planning to try this place out while visiting in Breckenridge

By KimmyCW |

There were 11 of us that went for 2 hours while there were quite a few people there that day we never waited longer than 1 minute in line. The tubes, hill and employees are great and there are hills designed for younger kids or those that may prefer less thrill. Instructions are easy to understand and follow. There are other activities at the Adventure Park as well as the tubing. There is a height requirement I believe it was 36 inches.

By Jennbenoit |

The girls had a blast. There were not many people at the time we arrived so only a few people were in line for each tube, if any. We were able to tube five times in an hour.

By buffalum93 |

The upside is that you can make reservations for tubing. The downside is everything else. Long lines, long waits. Only one magic carpet to get up the hill, you have to wait in line to get up the hill, then wait again to go down. Only 6 lanes to tube. Much prefer going to Fraser where it's faster up and down and not so controlled. In one hour we only did 5 runs. $30 per person = $6 per run. Not worth it for my family.

By Rolando P |

We were two adults and two kids (7 & 4) on the tubing hill, and we all found this to be a great experience. My wife is not much for the cold and high altitude activities, and she LOVED this! It was great to have carpet take us all up the hill. As with most winter activities, there is some exercise involved, but the walk from the bottom of the hill to the carpet is not bad at all. The staff was really nice as well. Overall a very positive experience for me and my family.

By Kristen J |

WE went tubing on a Monday, the weather was perfect, there's was only a few of us on the hills. Very fun day!

By MayfieldParrish |

We had a blast at the end of March. Even though it was a weekend and crowded the staff was able to get people down the hill fast enough to make wait times minimal. You can probably get 5 or 6 runs in an hour. The magic carpet ski lift really saves your legs. Was fun for kids while being safe.

By Rich Z |

My wife and I took the 2 boys we have still left at home (HS age) here for an afternoon outing while on a family trip to Breckenridge.

It's only about a 25 min ride from Breck to Frisco, and this place is apparently pretty popular.

I have to say it was worth the drive. We spent a little over an hour on the giant tubing hill going down as a family and individually which was alot of fun.

After that we ventured over to the Nordic Center and spent about another hour trying out Nordic Skiing...which none of us had EVER done before...so since we had all skied and snowboarded it was nice to try something new...it was much tougher than it looks in terms of exertion...but that's also probably due to our inexperience.

all it all the weather was absolutely GORGEOUS, and we had a great time with the boys. Everyone was smiling at the end of it, and when it comes down to it, when you can get smiles out of your teenagers without it having to do with a vehicle or video games then I guess you are doing something right.

certainly worth checking it out when you're looking to "change it up" or take a break from the slopes one afternoon on your family ski trip! :)

By Ron D |

We took the family there for the sledding and had a really good time! It's kind of pricey for your hour on the hill but is a very popular place! The snow was great while we were there.

By poppy119 |

Fun family fun for kids of all ages! Have been coming here for years ! Go and have an adventure of your own! Reasonably priced. Easy access. Enjoy!

By Mark C |

The fun we had was amazing. Snowball fights, spinning Group tubing, laughs for a lifetime. You will not regret planning a trip of fun here.

By chillchick |

Tickets were limited even though we booked weeks in advance. We were able to secure 2 tickets for the older kiddos. We took the younger one sledding (free) down the hill nearby while the older two went tubing. They had an amazing time! Highly recommend but make sure to book way in advance (especially with COVID) so the whole family can join.

By Gaylene B |

The staff was excellent, from ticketing to spinning us down the hill. The person who invented the tube/people conveyor should be knighted!!

By travelinspiration |

Absolutely loved everything about this place!! Parking easy. Make reservations well in advance because sells out quickly!!! Easy check in and best prices in all surrounding areas!!! Very central location and the tubing lanes very fast - staff terrific if want to spin or connect tubes with family! No problem mid morning/Friday getting 5 runs in an hour! Highly recommend, oh and very nice huge sitting area to watch if not tubing!

By Maggi D |

Not your typical setting for a wedding and reception, but turned out to be an awesome one! The views are beautiful and the facilities worked beautifully for the reception. Unusual and outstanding idea!

By Martin C |

Took the whole family to do some tubing, we all had a blast, including the adults. Great family fun. Very organized operation with friendly and courteous staff. I think 1 hour is enough time, we (group of 5) did the it 6 times. Not too bad for $25.00, the "magic carpet" (conveyor belt ramp) really helps to expedite the whole process of going up. Would recommend to anyone!

By Larry S |

Took my grandson there to go tubing. He was 7 years old at the time, and had a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun, and one of the best operations of this type that I have ever seen. There were a lot of rowdy adults the day we went, and they could be a problem. The tubes moved pretty fast, but not ridiculously so. However, given that f=ma, it hurts if you get hit by a tube filled with 4 adults traveling at any speed. You must be very careful at the bottom of the runs (there are multiple runs), as you must walk across the runs to get back up to the top of the hill after you complete your run. As long as you are careful, this is reasonably safe winter fun for the whole family.

By JT Colorado |

That’s a very fun place and experience. We had a party of eight, from 3 to 69 years old. Everyone had fun.
Make sure you have a reservation !

By Debbi D |

Tubing was lots of fun! There are just a couple of things to keep in mind. You have to make reservations and we got the last spot 3 weeks in advance. It was a 5pm -6pm time which was good and bad. Good from 530-6 there were only about 30 people there and no lines. Bad was that it was FREEZING!! and they stopped letting people link up tubes and go together. you could only go down as a single. It was getting really icy and people were flying! Lots of fun but dress warmly and make reservations early!

By Wes D |

There are 6 lanes with pretty long runs for snow tubing. The surrounding mountain view is spectacular. There is a bit of a walk from the end of the run to the magic carpet which can get tiring.

By Chris H |

Frisco Adventure Park is the best place to go tubing! I will be sure to come back with my family every year.

By thehighprincess |

Nice hill, we went during a weekend day. You pay by the hour and they had all three runs open, but only two people working at the top pushing, so it slowed the lines significantly! For $25.00 an hour and being crowded, I expect an attendant at each line, not jumping around. We only made six runs and were told at 1:13pm (Our hour was 12:15-1:15), that our time was up and we could not go up again. At the top, the lines were usually at least a dozen deep for all three lines. We always picked the shortest. I will go to Vail next time!

By Almost Parenting |

The adults in our group had fun the first few runs but then after that it kind of got boring. My 11 year old daughter thought it was ok and quit about halfway through our 2-hour slot, but she's never been big on rides, etc.

However, my 7-year-old son had a blast! He pretty much went down as much as possible for our 2-hour time and loved it.

On a skiing note, it looked like a good place for a beginning skier to get into the swing of things. Sadly, they discontinued lessons for the 2017-18 season.

So if you're thinking of tubing, this is a good place to try but consider your group.

By PDiddy913 |

Super laid back vibe and a great break from skiing if your legs need a rest. The kids would have kept going on run after run until dark if we'd let them. Staff is very friendly and the facilities felt extremely safe yet exciting enough for the kids to have a blast.

By Gregg Z |

Open and free to the public. Very challenging course thought there are trails for children and beginners. Thankful fo the opportunity to try it out.

By B W |

Automatic lift to the top you will enjoy this tubing adventure. Not cheap but fun. Nice lounge with pay lockers for your valuables.

By Donegal77 |

Very Fun Day with the Family. Only downside is that they don't have the old discs and you can't go down head first. Either way very fun day

By kellyo6583 |

My family (my husband and our two kids - 24 and 26) and I went tubing and had a blast!!!!!! That magic carpet sure makes acclimating to the altitude much easier!!!! The tubing was such a good time! And the people operating the lanes were great!

By johnrA4081SZ |

Great way to enjoy slipping on the snow with no experience necessary. Our group of eight did four tubers at a time. The instructor spun us around then pushed us down the hill towards a fun experience.

By Partyof5FL |

Fun tubing hill. Only downside was it got crowded on the magic carpet lift and waiting to board took up more time than I would have liked since you only get an hour. They may need to lower their per hour capacity. We only got a run in about every ten minutes with waiting at the bottom and top.

Reservation was set for 3pm- too late in the day for tubing. Slow snow. My daughter would stop mid track. Consider reservations earlier in the day or earlier in the season!

By dryfus14 |

always fun for the whole family.. More convenient and less expensive than going to a ski area tubing hill. Frisco does a great job!

By Kirsten B |

One kid hit the sledding hill, the other sat inside with me by the fire sipping cocoa. Great location, right off the highway. Easy to access and not overcrowded. My kids (under 10) loved a break from the ski hills.

By 717dy |

We participated in sleigh ride and tubing! Kids had the best time ever! Friendly staff and affordable.

By ColoDream |

have visited many time for mountain biking. they have great trails on the peninsula. have also gone in the winter for their dinner sleigh ride which is fantastic. sleighs pulled by mules to a dinner tent with good food and great entertainment by a guitar singer. highly recommended.

By esumsea |

My son really enjoyed his lessons here but, unfortunately, no one answers the phone or returns call for ski lessons. It was bad last year and even worse this year. It is very frustrating. Who knows, maybe that is why they are not always booked. The lessons are good for 1st timers.

By TBM1986 |

We had a large party and went early in the morning - it wasn't crowded at all! We almost never had to wait in line. And the tubing was great. My only complaint was that we had 6 in our group, and they only had 5 passes left for that hour's time slot- they wouldn't compromise and let one more person go with us. So they had to sit out while the rest of the group went.

By Angelia M |

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Frisco Adventure Park. Our kids aged 10, 12, 14 and 16 absolutely loved it. Since there is an escalator, you didn't have to haul your tube up every time. Also, they would let you go down in groups up to 4! It was a blast. The kids also dos the Bubble Balls. They had a great time with that as well...and even used the ball as a bowling ball and tried to know over huge pins. It was great!!!!

Overall fun tubing experience.

Positives: great tubes runs for the little kids, long runs, can tie tubes together and go as a family, family friendly, beautiful views, friendly and very helpful staff, very accommodating..almost too much, see below, you will have fun for sure.

Negatives, $30.00 a piece for one hour...too much. Get 2 hours in North Carolina for $25.00, "magic carpet lift" should go all the way to where you end on your tube run. Don't mind walking but from where you get off tube, then walk a ways, then to lift it takes 8 minutes to get back to top again. You only have "ONE HOUR"! We got in 7 runs in one hour and were hustling to get that. The "too accommodating" mentioned above is the staff helps everyone in their tubes, helps tie you together, won't let anyone go without them pushing or slinging you, helps with "all" those annoying people who want to use their selfie sticks, go pro cameras, etc video tape their entire lives, tubing, etc. IT WASTES EVERYONE'S TIME FOLKS. GET OUT OF YOUR "ME" WORLD and take a dang picture and move down the hill.

Recommendation: go EARLY, EARLY, EARLY. We were leaving after 11am and the people had already started coming in droves. More people, more pictures, cameras, selfie sticks, lines on hill, staff helping everyone, and LESS tube time.

Just remember its vacation, you will have a fun time and you can always keep paying by the hour and tube all day.

We reached late (post 2:15) so could not book a ski lesson which we wanted to do however the snow tubing was available without much of a wait. The staff advised us to check for slope conditions before we paid for tickets. It was a warm day and they said tubes were slower than usual. I appreciate this kind of courtesy a lot and think if I am ever back in the Denver area, Frisco Adv Park will be my go to recreation facility on the slopes.

The park is in a great serene location and very close to the Frisco main street area which is this beautiful picturesque town surrounded by mountains. Easy drive from Denver for a day trip. Prices per person on the slopes for tubing or skiing are reasonable. They have a neat cafetaria and indoor seating for those preferring to stay indoors when rest of the group is hitting the slopes. There were also kids activities in a separate area near the facility which seemed rather fun.

By Rob D |

Tubing was fantastic. Super nice staff. They do very good limiting the amount of people that sign up so overcrowding is never an issue.

By Roger R |

We had a great time but we did have to make reservations and come back for tubing. We made 5 or 6 runs during our one hour time slot. Great family fun. The tumble bubbles are fun but things were a little disorganized on opening day.

By Nicole T |

We came on an all adult trip to the mountains for 4 days. We saw a commercial about this place and thought we would give it a shot. This place does not disappoint! It turned out adult clan into instant kids again. The magic carpet, keeping you from dragging a tube up mountain is about the best invention ever! Kids and adults would love this place. I understand they have multiple activities here, at all time of the year. Would definitely come back and would love to try some of their other activites😊

By pie001 |

We had a lot of fun at the Frisco Adventure Park, especially the dirt jump area. My kids (age 10 &12) and I really enjoyed the progressive nature of the jumps and we sessioned the lines for an hour plus on 3 separate days. One son also took his scooter into the skate park area which he said was 'fine'

By Lovetotravel099 |

Our Thanksgiving tradition is to start the day at the Tubing Hill. Great employees, awesome tubing. Highly recommend!

By Kenny |

What a ton of fun!
Amazing experience tubing here with multiple slopes and a friendly staff.
Definitely worth the price

By Rachel P |

We went here for tubing on a whim - it was a lot of fun! They have 6 different lanes and let you go in groups of 2 or 4. They also have an indoor area where you can warm up & order hot cocoa and beer!

Frisco Adventure Park is a year round family experience.
In winter, It offers excellent tubing on multiple tracks that vary in difficulty. There is also a small novice/beginner ski/ride terrain area that offers lessons taught by Copper Mountain ski/ride school. However, conditions are VERY dependent on adequate snowfall. The tubing facility makes it own snow and is open by Thanksgiving most years. Make tubing reservations several days in advance as busy/holiday times get sold out fast. Only a limited number of tickets are sold daily to ensure a quality experience.
The Nordic ski center is just across the street and offers many different trails and experiences as well as a day lodge that rents equipment and sells supplies.
Within a short walk is the 2 Below Zero operation that offers horse drawn sleigh rides.
In the summer, the fun "shifts" gears. There is a large skateboard park and trail bike riding venue. The main center is adjacent to a large network of biking trails that go all over the county.
The Nordic day lodge becomes the Frisco Fun Club and offers multiple programs for youngsters 12 and under including week long activities supervised by adult counselors. Sarah, who runs these programs and her staff, are terrific. Sign up for these EARLY as they fill fast. Week long bike camps are offered across the street at the main complex. Week long water camps are also available with activities on Lake Dillon.
Best of all, everything is reasonably priced to be kind to family pocketbooks.
Don't miss it, if you plan to stay for a week or more!

We stopped by on the way out of Breckenridge back to Denver. We waited about 30 minutes for out 1 hour tubing session. All the fresh powder during the past 2 days and warm temp that day resulted in the tracks being a bit slow, but overall we had a great time! We tied our 4 tubes together and had a fun time spinning down the tracks. The center staff was friendly and they had various things to do and snacks, etc. for sale. The prices were reasonable given it is a popular attraction during peak time - Spring Break! We would definitely return if in the area again!

By lisahif |

We came here while on vacation in Denver the other weekend and it was a blast. We didn't get any snow this year at home so we headed to the mountains. It was a bit busy but we did make reservations ahead of time. It was very easy to do on the parks website. Yes it was a bit expensive $25.00 for the 1st hour then $10 per hour after that. But it was so fun. It was the highlight of our trip. I was exhausted after 2hr so were the kids but the thrill of going down the 1200 foot hill was just unbelievable.

By Edipreta |

Took the little girls here for their first ski lesson. Very attentive. Caleb was great. Very tolerant with my little girls attitudes. They started getting the hang of it even with their young age. I sat in the lodge and enjoyed a hot cocoa and coffee and chatted with James James is very delightful and friendly. He makes the wait fun. Excellent place to come and learn how to ski.

By TajnMe |

This was the third time we've come to F.A.P. to go tubing, and we've never been disappointed!

We were worried about the crowds since we visited right in the middle of Spring Break, so we went first thing in the morning -- first ones down the hills! And for the first little while, we almost had the place to ourselves.

The first year we went, we saw the time and the price and thought "An hour? ONLY an hour??" But let me just say that an hour has always been long enough! This time, we made 7 runs in that hour and it's DEFINITELY a good price for that kind of fun!

The kids at the top are really good about asking whether or not you want to spin. This was the first time we'd ever encountered a girl starting the runs and I gotta say that she surprised me -- the girl's got an arm on her! We traded off between the hills, the personnel, and the intensity of the spins, but for my last spin, I told the guy "Gimme all you got, but please don't kill me." And I swear, my head almost came off and I had to hang on for dear life!! And by the time I got to the bottom, I could barely get up out of the tube and stand up, and definitely couldn't walk straight! THANK YOU -- it was PERFECT!!! Such a good time!

Thanks F.A.P. for another wonderful visit and we'll see ya next Spring!

Four of us spent 2 hours tubing here in January 2017. Not only did we have a great time, but I really liked the dedicated lines (no people lingering half way down the hill, blocking your path or becoming a target). They have a moving sidewalk to take you back up to the top. We tubed for 2 hours and that was about right for us. Each run down the hill and back to the top took about 10 minutes so we went down 12 or 13 times in our two hours.

They have single tubes and double tubes. They will let you "hook up" in various configurations - single, doubles, "skydiving" (face down), in a train, in a 3 or 4 configuration, all with spin or without.....the guys at the top were great. When we went there were 4 lanes. Lane 4 - the one at the farthest end from the moving sidewalk - was supposed to be the fastest. I didn't notice a difference in speed between the lanes.

We've been sledding on hills where there are no dedicated lanes and it isn't nearly as fun because people are stopped all over the hill and you can't get a good, solid run for fear of hitting them. Frisco's dedicated lanes resolves that problem. The guys at both the top and bottom of the runs communicate so it is completely safe.

Parking was confusing. You can either park in Alpine Lot 2 for free and take the bus on black line 2 back to the lodge where the tubing hill is, or park for $20 at the lodge. Note that there is no real changing room in the lodge. There are bathrooms where you can change but the stalls aren't really big enough to change comfortably. You're better off coming in the lodge already wearing your base layer.

You will get 20% off the cost if you pay in advance online. The second hour is considerably cheaper than the first.

We'd go again in a heartbeat.

We had a great evening of fun tubing here. The kids had a fantastic time. Make sure to make a reservation.

By Erin M |

Fabulous, friendly staff. David and James at the check in counter were delightful! Clean and efficient facilities. Tubing was so fun!! Brought my 12 and 10 year old! They were able to be completely independent. Only down fall - we are wishing we had more than an hour to play!!

By cspillane44 |

Went tubing with wife and 19 & 16 yo boys. Was a lot of fun! Conveyor belt a must to bring you to top, and the speed you get on the lanes are fun! Covid restrictions applied, so reservations are needed which is great because it didn’t feel overcrowded at all. Would recommend for family fun!

By Almostbrady |

Kids (who are skiers) were skeptical about this being fun. All of us (ages 12-41) enjoyed this. Highly recommend this. The kids got in around 5 rides in an hour!!

By TinaandVinnieO621 |

Came up with our grown children just to play in the snow. What a treat this park is. I love the sledding hill with the escalator to the top!

By LG1381 |

Went snow tubing here on the fly.... good and friendly staff. Fun experience. Its best when traveling with a large group so that you can tie your tubes to one another and fly down the slope faster. Going solo was fun, but it was a better time when I went with others. They give you a sufficient amount of time per reservation so that you can go up and down several times.

By Ginge D |

Glenn at the front desk was incredibly polite and polished. She answered all my questions and helped my friend get aquainted will all the ammenities of the park 10/10 would go again.

By Faith B |

This is a fun adventure but there are better options if you really want to tube. This facility has a nice indoor facility and is probably why it is more crowded. You will only get 3-4 slides per hour vs 7+ at other facilities. This is a very safe tubing experience because you have to wait in lines like at an amusement park, but it is slow. Also...if you must go here avoid the holidays because they charge you hourly with no second hour discount option. Go to another facility unless the inside/cabin is important to you.

By Sally H |

The snow slide was the best! My grandchildren loved the excitement and speed of the slide and I loved taking videos of them screaming down the hill!

By erinsmith8958 |

We had the best time tubing on the snow today. Frisco Adventure Park was the highlight of out trip to Colorado.
This place is fun and easy for families. I loved that we had a scheduled time to be on the mountain and it wasn't crowded.
The staff was fun and we will go back to the Frisco Adventure Park.

By Annaknopf |

This is a great location to spend quality time! Highly recommend. Very clean, friendly and fun. The tubes are a good size, the price is good and the people are friendly!

By Relax712315 |

This place is really fun make sure you get there 15 or 20 minutes early the big problem is finding a parking space.

By Dan S |

Super fun. Get there early to avoid the crowd and maximize your runs dow the hill. Just remember to lift up your rump at the end of the hill...

By Rory Moulton - EuroExperto |

I skip the tubing and hit the trails - nordic in winter and mtb in summer. Fantastic views across the lake and some real challenging climbing! Great place to spend a few hours outside any time of year.

By okeydockee |

The tubing was horrible, very slow. The tube would get stuck half way through and you had to get off and walk your tube the remainder of the way. It was so busy and you only got to go down 3 times for your $$ for the 1 hour session. We were very disappointed, we have been tubing alot of places and were very sad that it turned out to be a bad experience.

By Bill & Daphnie |

We drove down to Frisco this afternoon to do some tubing. It was fun but I have to say that $50 for an hour with 2 people seems a bit steep (but I guess I am just getting old). We did have a lot of fun and it wasn't crowded so we never had to wait to take a run. Lani had never been tubing and it was a lot of fun to listen to her scream and laugh. Overall a good way to have some fun in the snow.

By Jenell A |

Super friendly! Super fast! James and Nathan were super polite!! Great friendly clean resort! All the workers were super helpful

By Tthetourist |

Very fun, my children enjoyed the tumble bubbles! The view around this place is breathtaking. The tubing hill looks like fun, we didnt have time for it.

By Racine N |

We had a blast! This was my first experience with tubing! It takes a full 30seconds to come down hill. The staff was so much fun, and actually care of you are having fun! We felt like teenagers again! Thank you for giving us Floridians the time of our lives!!

By Rcruccius |

My husband and I and our three children had so much fun on the tubing hill. Compared to the tubing hill at Keystone, this was much more fun. The runs were a little longer than Keystone and the big bumps were fun!

Visiting Frisco Adventure park for snow tubing during a girls trip to Breckenridge. This place is popular so strongly advise making reservations as early as possible as it was sold out the day we visited. Its a great place for snow tubing. Once you check in you are giving a tag with your time, you attend a brief safety session and then you are off to go tubing. They have food and hot drinks from when you come in from tubing. It was a fun day.

By almightySR |

On a cold winter morning, it was a great idea to get our blood pumping by having some fun here.
The tubing is decently priced @ $26pp, with an option to add an hour for $10, not needing the hour to be consecutive of your initial session. The staff was very pleasant to deal with, Jesse was quite courteous.
The slopes are fun, there are teams of employees at the top who are friendly while they ask if you want to go straight down or spin, pushing your tube down the slope.
There is a bit of music on the way up the hill on the conveyor belt, only one speaker.
There is a nice indoor area where those who are not on the slopes can wait in warmth, with a double sided fireplace, and a small are to purchase treats like hot chocolate, chips, candies, etc. Decently priced.

I will visit this spot again in the future.
Thumbs up if you find this helpful, thanks!

went with another family. Four kids 4 and up in age. Very well organized with a great magic carpet ride up, helpers at top to put tubes together etc.. Music blasting. Great lodge for parents to hang and drink hot cocoa, beer and/or wine! $25/hour

By Robert F |

During the week, during our kids break, the hills were not jamming early in the day. It was a beautiful winter Colorado day . The magic carpet took the kids to the top of the slopes and down they would come hooping and howling. We could have gone down with them. But at 72, sometimes you think twice too much. What a fun time. Only complaint that it was a bit pricey for a family of 5 for an hour of fun.

By Laura H. |

My 5 year old and I went tubing for his friend's birthday and had a great time! It was a gorgeous day and the lanes were fast and fun! The employees were all super helpful with getting the kids big tunes on/off the carpet! The lodge was warm and we had plenty of space to celebrate! We had a blast!

By Angel N |

Nate was the best! Perfect 4.20/4.20 service. Highest level of customer service possible. Tubing was fun too.

By nanciface |

We went for the snow tubing and a two-hour beginner ski lesson. I was a little scared about the tubing but it turned out to be so much fun! It was very smooth, no jolting moves, not scary at all. The not-so-fun part was having to drag the tube from the bottom of the hills to the magic carpet, a pretty long walk, slightly uphill, in the snow. The magic carpet was completely filled, so it was a long and slow ride up. We did manage to do four runs in our hour and had a great time! The ski lesson was a little different; the ground was too icy and slippery for beginners and I ended up not completing the two hours But the instructor, from Copper Mountain, was very pleasant and understanding. All in all, a really fun afternoon.

By nanatbrdg |

We enjoyed several hours of tubing. We're oldies, but goodies, and it was great fun for us. Easy to get to the top via conveyor belt. The guides at the top were very conscientious and helpful. We would have liked to go a little faster and not end before the bottom of the run, but all in all, great fun!

By Amer5b |

We bought our tickets 4 days in advance because we heard how quickly they sell out. After seeing the online total for a family of 7, we decided to just pay for the kids' tickets and we'd watch from the bottom. Checking in was nice and smooth (just had to fill out a waiver). Friendly staff gave us our tickets and directed us where to go. Next stop was a little building where they check your ticket and have you watch a safety video. Staff member during this part just sat in her chair with her feet up on a heater. Not welcoming or friendly; didn't even tell us she was starting the video. Video ended and we went outside to help the boys get their tubes. Helped them get on the magic carpet, then watched for them to come down the hill. 4 out of 5 boys loved it. Our youngest (8 yr old) however, came back in tears. His tube didn't quite make it as far as most people go. He sat there for less than a second before the staff member at the bottom started yelling at him to get up and get out of the way. That was it. He didn't like being yelled at and didn't want to try again. Can't say I blame him. Being yelled at sucks. I totally get that safety is a HUGE priority, but come on, people, help the little guys out. Have some fun on your job. Smile a little.
In our hour-long time slot, our 4 other boys were able to go down the hill 6 times (it takes a while to get to the top on the magic carpet), so it averaged out to $5 per run.
We had fun and will probably make this an annual trip for our family. Hoping by then there will be some staff turnover. :)

We were staying in Breckenridge and decided to take the free Summit Stage shuttle to the Frisco Adventure Park for the tubing and beginner ski hill. I called ahead and the lady I spoke with at the Adventure Park, said that the walk from the shuttle stop to the park was 1/4 mile. Well, it's a 1/4 mile from the shuttle stop in the hospital parking lot, to the entrance of the park. We continued to walk another 1/4 mile down the driveway, with no sign of the ticket window in sight. It was about 10 degrees and the wind was blowing the snow off the snow banks, so we were freezing, while lugging 2 sets of skis, ski boots and poles. We also live close to sea level, so this walk in the high altitude was exhausting. When we realized it'd would ultimately end up being about a mile walk, one way, we realized that it would be a rough walk, back uphill to the bus stop, after spending several hours at the park. We turned around and walked back to the bus stop, never making it to the park check in and wasting several hours. I wish we'd just bought sleds at the City Market in Breck and gone to the sledding hill there. This Adventure park looks like a total blast, and if you were staying in Frisco or Breck, with a car, I would say this is a must. I really hope this Adventure park will consider running a "shuttle" (van) from the park entrance on main road, to the check in/tickets. Maybe once and hour or even every 30 minutes. This would be a great service to offer!

By Emi |

$90 for an hour with one adult and two children. As we don't live near snow we decided to spend the big $ and give it a go. The adult and one child liked it. The other child found that dragging the tube from the end of the run all the way to the beginning of the carpet was just too much for her. She gave up after one run. The office gave us back 2/3 of the cost of her booking.

Considering most the time you are there you are on the carpet, waiting at the top for your turn to go down or dragging the tube back to the carpet, $30 for an hour (the boys had only 4 runs in that time) was a bit steep. Maybe $30 for two hours would be better?

AND, anyone wanting to take photos/video is kept well away from the runs :( It would have been nice to be able to watch/share/record this once in a lifetime experience for our family. But as the fences were near the base hut and they only have a view of the hike from the end of the runs to the base of the carpet, we couldn't see a thing. Disappointing.

By HorstK-Spring |

Took a time-out from Copper Mountain to do some cross-country skiing. The personnel we encountered was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

By Ben F |

The first thing I have a problem with is $30 an hour per person. Doesn't matter on the persons age. This worked out at about $7 per person per time down the hill. I know that this is the busy time of the year and they need to make money while the gettin is good, but $120 for one hour of family activity time is crazy. It is cheaper to stay at the slopes.
Secondly there are too many rules. Whatever happened to the places I grew up going to that you could go down in big groups and not e hovered over like children. The runs at not that fast either. Save your money and time and find a sled hill for more fun.

By nancylb8302 |

It was our kids first ski lesson and this was the perfect location. Much cheaper and less crowded than Breckenridge. We did a group lesson and there were 7 people in it. At the end of the lesson you can go down a green "equivalent hill" as many times as you want. It was about 10 minutes from Breckenridges Main Street. Our ski instructor was Travis and he was very kind and patient. Truly a great place to learn how to ski or snowboard.

By LonghornFan73 |

We went for the snow tubing. It was lots of fun and the tram takes you up. Employees were there to help you on and off the tram and also assisted by offering you the straight or twirling option down the hill.

The employees that check you in need to work on their people skills some. The were a bit abrupt.

By Octavio A |

This is the best place i went on frisco , i had gone there 3 years and the 3 years the experience was awesome . The staff asked me spin or straight and every single opportunity I said spin and they spined me at an extremely high speed I thought I was going out the donut and the second time i went i went 2 hours because there was almost anybody in the patk i highly recommend this to you

By Amanda G |

My kids have never been tubing before, so I planned a special trip to Summit County and tubing was the "big event" they were looking forward to. I am a single mom, so the $78 I had to spend was a lot to fork over, but hey, they're only kids for so long and I wanted to do something fun with them.

We got maybe 4 runs in since the tube kept getting stuck. Every run, we'd get stuck after the 2nd hill and we'd have to get out and walk over the hill and to the bottom. My kids are 4 and 7 and my 4 year old had a little cold. Wouldn't have been a big deal if the tube got all the way to the bottom and they weren't having to trek 1/3 down the hill.

The staff was really nice and I think the people at the bottom felt bad. Its definitely not their fault. That was just a lot of money given the experience we had. I've been to Adventure Point at Keystone a handful of times, and have never had that problem there.

By Michelle H |

Went during Christmas vacation during peak capacity and they were able to manage crowds. Must carry your own tube and ride magic carpet to the top. Four very long runs that you can tube down. You can go alone or in a group of four at once. The attendants are very helpful getting you set and giving you a push or spin if you want. One hour is pretty good. You can only ride as a single in the tube. Some very little kids wanted to ride with parents and had to ride in own tube. Luckily, they can hook together and ride. Took off a star because of price.

By Plug10 |

This place was a blast especially for a family that is not experts most skiers or snowboarders. One note, kids have to be 36 inches tall to ride on tubes. But overall my family had a great time here we wanted to go back for a couple of times

By larryrichard2017 |

we will do it again. the snow was smooth and fresh. the people was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Colorado Springs and took the route to Denver then west to Frisco. It was an amazing drive from Denver to Frisco. We went from cold and no snow in the Springs to a lot of cold and snow in Frisco. Make sure you get on their website to make reservations for a time slot. That is crucial! Many were turned away since they thought they could just go in. It’s well organized and you take a safety course before you hit the hill. Everyone was friendly and we had a blast. They have a spot inside to relax and get some drinks and food. Also, next to the park, they do have an area for free where you can bring a slide to go down a hill. It was such a blast and the two hour drive from the Springs was well worth it.

Make sure you hit Breckenridge while you are there. It’s the next town over.

By OviedoJen |

My husband and I went and had a blast! We had a reservation for Noon but arrived an hour early and they let us go when we arrived. I'm glad they did because by Noon it was busy! We got about 5 rides down the hill completed within the hour and an hour was plenty of time at the Adventure Park. The staff was friendly and very nice!

By Diana H |

A group of friends and i did snow tubing for the first time and we all had a blast!!! The staff was very helpful and the price was fair. I really can't wait to do it again.

By mtsono |

We went to tube and we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and helpful they even helped us to reschedule because some of our party get there late. We did not try the orbs but they looked like fun. I would plan on spending 2-3 hours if you are going to try both activities. Reservation are available online and I would suggest you make one if you have a group. The cancellation policy was very fair. I would go back any day, we loved it! Super duper fun to be had by all.

By agentjamesbond |

Arranged for late tubing for 5 but due to extremely warm temperatures the staff recommended the following morning when the runs were not slushy and freshly groomed. They rebooked us for the first session next day and it was a great call slopes were fast and the crowd had not arrived. An outstanding experience for all ages. The prices are reasonable and if you do a little research you can find and print off a 10% off coupon. Make your reservations early, the weekend was already booked and and I can see why …as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

This was the ONLY place we could fine to take our 2 1/2 year old to tube. All the height requirements everywhere else are 42 inches. At Frisco it's 36 inches which was perfect!! We had a BLAST!! Our toddler LOVED it and didn't want to leave when our hour was up. We will definitely be going again!

By jahnavireddy k |

Awesome experience. Spinning part while doing the ride was the best. Crew were very friendly and took care very well. Kudos to the crew who were working there.

By Jason S |

This was a blast. Loved the fact we didn't have to climb the hill ourselves. Magic carpet saved my life..lol kids had fun and was a safe adventure. Would highly recommend. .. but reserve your time early. Don't go expecting to get on right then.

We arrived behind schedule for our 3/28 booking and they moved us to the next day with no issue. Very much appreciated. Snow tubing was a blast, safe environment, with lots of families. We went for the tallest hill and were not disappointed. Love that you can tie families together to go down and the attendants give you the option to spin or go straight. Magic carpet ride to the top of hill gives you just enough time to re-group and go again.

By melaniejcraft |

This was our families first real snow vacation so tubing was high on the list. Im so glad that we chose this park. The hills were awesome and having the escalator return you to the top of the hill was a huge help. We will be returning Jan 2015. So looking forward to it!

The little kids, the teens, the thirty, forty and fifty-somethings and the grandparents all had a blast Tumbling, tubing and sledding the day after Christmas. The pricing is very reasonable (and the military discount was greatly appreciated). The folks at the independently owned Tumble Bubble and at the Adventures Park were all exceptionally pleasant. The lodge is comfy and offers great eats and drink at good prices too! Easy to locate, lots of parking and truly a fun-filled adventure for all!

Booked an hour for me and my 4 year old. We both had a blast! We got up about eight times. I was hustling after we came down because I wanted to get the most for my money. Blue sky day! My girl loved it! I loved it! Fun! 15-20 minute ride from Breck. They have day lockers for stuff. A place to buy snacks and drinks and nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. There is other stuff to do there, but wanted to get back to our pool!

In 20 some odd years of skiing we have always been too tired after a day on the slopes to go to a tube park, decided to stop off on the way out of town. Glad we did, fun time.

By Diane D |

our family booked an hour for the snow tubing and it was so much fun. we had enough time to go 5 times. they have a couple of lanes to go down, so there are lanes that are slower for kids. you can go by yourself, or you can hang on to your neighbors tube/rope and go down together. i would definitely go back if i had the opportunity to. i brought one coupon (found in breckenridge info books) and they applied the discount to our whole group! it's only a 15 minute drive from breckenridge, and worth the short drive out.

By Christina3737 |

Frisco Adventure Park has the best snow tubing ever! The lines are not that bad and its so much fun! This is a must if you're in the area!! Fun for all ages!!

By Ugly2 |

As non-skiers we went tubing both here and at copper mountain. Frisco seems to have a longer ride and the magic carpet is much quicker although the the copper mountain hill has a slight curve and the guys pushing you down were great giving you a lot of speed. In one hour on a busy day you can get 5-7 rides in at frisco and 4 in at copper. 1 hour was enough at frisco but a 2nd hour in copper would have been good. If you have little little ones you can probably take off 2 rides on each since you need that added time.

By pattyd222 |

SNOW MUCH FUN!! My daughter and I decided on this last minute and are so glad we did! The workers are so personable and genuinely want you to have an exciting time. There is never a dull moment and you truly do get your money's worth. We loved the fact that they cap off the amount of people who can tube at one time instead of anyone who pays can come. This makes it go so smoothly and allows you to get your money's worth instead of standing around for more time than actually tubing. Make sure to register online beforehand!

By gator1006 |

I am a native Floridian but enjoy visiting and playing in the snow. I don't really like skiing but totally enjoyed my time here. The people working there were awesome and well worth the money (fun and safe for those of us that are a little intimidated by the whole skiing thing). I suggest you go down the first time pretty straight forward and then ask them to give you a spin on the next slide. So much fun...bring a camera and/or go pro.

By bp8430 |

The Frisco Adventure Park is so much fun but it's always hopping with people so here's what to know before you go if you want to tube at the park.

- Reservations are not necessary but strongly encouraged b/c the timeslots fill up fast (especially during high season and holidays). You can purchase online before you get there.
- There are no lockers so you need to keep your stuff locked in your car or plan to leave it somewhere and hope it's still there when you come back. Plan to bring layers and multiple clothing options b/c temps/conditions change throughout the day.
- One hour of tubing will get you roughly four runs down the hill. Each run is followed by a 3-5 minute ride back up the hill and a 5-10 minute wait in line.
- You can connect up your individual tubes to go down as a group (they will show you how) or you can go alone. They will ask if you want to spin or go straight - spinning is obviously super fun. Straight is faster!
- If you pick the lane on the far right you won't have to trudge across multiple lanes to clear the area and you can get back in line more quickly.
- If you are tubing in the spring, go early in the morning. Temps may warm up around noon, the sun starts to melt the snow and then the runs get slower so you don't go as far or as fast down the hill.

Enjoy the runs! It's great family time and I highly recommend it!

By lbm5673 |

Our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents thoroughly enjoyed our hour of tubing at Frisco Adventure Park. I'm only giving 4 stars because it is pricey during the holiday season ($28 per person) for one hour. But when planning this day trip, that seems to be the going rate for tubing in the mountains. The tubing runs were excellent and there was just the right amount of people there -- no long waits for runs. We were able to get in 6 runs in the 1 hour.

By FlyMom10 |

The park is great! The sledding is kinda pricy BUT it's a great activity!! We bring our sleds and go to this one spot where families sled and walk up the hill... It's great for our boys for a quick ride. The 2 below sleigh ride also leaves from across parking lot( tons of fun) they even start giving ski lessons starting the fourth! Great time in Frisco!

By VacationVacation_GK |

Love to sled, we had fun! My 6 year old son had so much fun. He can sled all by himself. It's not too steep - fun for all ages. If it's your first time, it's a little hard to find the sledding hill coz it's behind the parking lot. We were not able to try the tubing coz it's full

By Hemen |

We went to Frisco Adventure Park on 8th March and Park had fresh snow all over absolutely beautiful site.Four of us with our Grandchild went up using magic carpet and slide down 6 times in an hour . 3 year old Kid had a fantastic time and he also joined us in the fun 6 times ....just awesome experience. $ 25 per person was worth for an hour. The facilities at the park are excellent and staff ever willing to help.we went from Boulder about 2.5 hour drive and park is close to Breckenridge , CO

By Pam H |

The kids had a blast here! Staff was great, and the guys working the big rubber balls outside were so good with the kids. What a fun place to take the family, very organized! The only negative is people just leave their trash laying around for staff to clean up! Keep it clean people, pick up after yourselves!

By oknurse2016 |

So much fun for all ages! Loved the escalator up the hill. Great experience for a group. Customer service was really good.

By Rhonda D |

James is awesome very friendly and helpful. Loved the Hot CoCo, tubing was so much fun I will definitely come again.

By David M |

This is something that can be enjoyed by the whole family young and old. exciting tubing but not dangerous.

By Kim C |

We arrived just as they were handing out the green plastic bottom tubes. I guess due to the weather the tubing hill was slow and people before our group were walking down the hill some. When we arrived and after we watched the safety video they started handing out he alternate tubes. These were super fast and super fun. The magic carpet made getting back to the top easier. The young people at the top did a great job of launching us down the hill either with or without spinning depending on your preference. Pricey but highly recommended. Rental of the hill for an hour equates to about 6-7 trips down the hill on the lane of our choice.

By Sue S |

This park has so many different activities during all seasons. Biking, disk golf, hiking, snow hills, skiing....

By LightPacker90935 |

Our family really enjoyed the tubing at the Frisco Adventure Park. It wore the boys out completely! The main building was nice and organized. We don’t have any skying experience, but this was probably pretty close to doing something in the snow. One hour was plenty.

By R0wi3 |

We bought a groupon for the tumble bubbles, they were so much fun, hard work though!
Instead of doing it in 7 minute lots you can do it all at once.
If the snow is a bit melty, it can get very wet inside, but it's so hot inside whilst moving you'll sweat anyway! We were here at the end of ski season so it wasn't busy at all which was awesome too! Not much waiting in line.

By Amanda WSmiles |

We booked our son a snowboarding lesson at FAP because we did not have a full day to spend at one of the big resorts. His lesson here was 2.5 hours long and there were about 6 other people in his group. He learned the basics and was coming down the snowboarding hill at
The end of the lesson. Good and affordable option. You have to rent your equipment somewhere nearby (ours was about $50 for the boots, board and helmet) and the lesson was $89. Overall a good deal.

By J K |

Great tubing! Was worried it might be too steep for a scaredy cat like me but it was great for myself and 2 kids 8ys & 10yrs old. Had been sold out a few days so buy tickets a day ahead or even 2 if it’s winter break. Never had to wait in long lines inside, for the magic carpet or to go down the hill. Maybe just one or 2 people ahead & things move quick. The amount of people was very manageable and I’m thankful they take care to limit the admission! Staff were all very friendly and managed things wonderfully. The tumble bubbles were an added bonus (extra cost but worth it) They didn’t pay much attention to the time & neither did I so I don’t know if we got a few extra minutes or shorted a few, but kids were exhausted and ready when they called them back.
Def would recommend!!

By Lisa G |

There were 7 of us that went to Frisco Adventure Park to snow tube. We went the week between Christmas & New Years and made reservations in advance, which was a good idea. When we arrived for our time, there was a sign up that there were no available times until the next day.

There were 6 tubing runs, with 3 of them longer than the other 3. You must watch a short video on the do’s & don’t’s then you grab a tube & ride a magic carpet up to the top of the runs.

There were a lot of small children so it made it a little longer process on the magic carpet due to parents having to put them on & off.

The tubing itself was a blast! You can connect up to 4 tubes together.

They did seem to be adequately staffed.

There is an inside area with tables where you can get some food & drinks, but it was packed in there. They could use a larger area for people to eat, wait & warm up.

By Sudeep R |

Friendly crew. Excellent spinning experience.. Definitely suggest for friends, family , kids, couples.

By Dave L |

Make the trip to the Frisco Adventure park if you are anything like us and Skiing is not really your thing. We went on a Frisco/Breckenridge/Vail/Leadville adventure in mid January and had a great time at the Frisco Adventure Park. Did 2 hours of tubing (that's about all one person could handle), and then the kids spent about 8 hours over three days at their FREE sledding hill. Tubing was well organized and the magic carpet up the hill is nothing short of THE BEST INVENTION OF HUMAN KIND (well, except for sliced bread and air conditioning - ha).

By nebjosh |

We came here for tubing with a few small kids. The hills are fun but the runs are all similar, it would get a little boring for more than an hour. It is a little pricy here and since the kids quit after 2 runs it was not worth it. The location is good and easy to get to. I still prefer just finding a hill and tubing for free....

By JSTrip_77 |

We were in town for the Run the Rockies 10k which started and ended in the adventure park. There are so many options for summer as well as winter. The trails that lead up to Lake Dillon are incredibly picturesque and are good for hiking, running and biking. There's frisbee/disk golf as well. Stay tuned for other events. The day that we were there (today), there was also a volleyball tournament.

By Lindsay J |

Fun tubing. My husband and I went down 4 times and that was enough for us and it pretty much took the whole hour we reserved. Kids and grownups would love this place. Nice lodge area to sit in too for those who don’t want to tube but would like to watch.

By The Traveling Pollos 🐓 |

While visiting Breckenridge we had the opportunity to visit Frisco Adventure Park - it was amazing - friendly staff and super fun for the entire family !! - I would Totally recommend to make reservations in advance in peak seasons because they fill up quick .

By Megan S |

This would be great for little kids, but for teens who have some life experience, aka they've done water slides, roller coasters,skiing/snowboarding, they will give their parent an eye roll after the first 'ride'. My 15 and 17 year old rode once and wanted to go back to ski resort. Not knocking the park. Younger kids would love it.

By DenverGal |

I am not a skier or snowboarder. So this is my favorite thing to do in the winter. It is so much fun for adults or kids. My whole family is 16 and older and we always have a blast!

By Martyn C |

We went snow tubing and had so much fun, very enjoyable couple of hours spent. Allow a little extra time for parking when arriving.

By RLCZ70 |

Lot of activities, large bike and skate park, lots of hike/bike trails, places to watch, disc golf, lake nearby

By Damiendrops |

Great for learning or improving dirt jumping skills.
Several jump lines allow you to start small and move to more aggressive lines as you improve.
Pump track is very tight, but flows pretty well.
The surface of all the runs are stabilized to there's plenty of traction and few marbles.
Admission is free… my favorite price!

By Nora |

All the activities are separate and its $30 per 1 hour of tubing. We had a lot of fun, but an hour is not enough time to really enjoy the facilities.

By inessa l |

It was so much fun! We went to the earliest session at 10 am and it wasn't crowded at all. However, 11 am session already had a crowd.
Tubing is really fun and the first couple of rides are so exiting and full of adrenaline, especially when the staff spins you. But how already was mentioned before, it gets boring after 30 min. 1 hour was more than enough for us. The magic carpet ride up the hill takes a while. And even though we didn't have to wait to take a ride down the hill, we did a total of 8 rides down in 1 hour.

By dodge4x4rules |

Took my father and we had so much fun with the Percheron mule drawn sleigh, Big fur blankets, and a great guide. Arrived at a canvas tent that didn't feel like a tent at all when you were inside with good food, hot chocolate, and live music.

By Isaiah R |

The best tubing experience! James is awesome and really knows how to spin you into a good time down the hill!

By bearmde |

Took three boys to this park for a little tubing. Its not cheap...25.00 an hour per child...but it was fun. The kids go through a little safety meeting and then grab the tube and head up a VERY slow escalator type thing to take patrons to the top of the tubing mountain. You slide down, then walk over to the escalator and do it over again. You probably get like 7 or 8 trips per hour. The place has a great lodge where you can sit and watch the hill. It also has a nice little concession stand that has popcorn, chili, sodas and the likes. Overall, nice place. It was being setup for a party later and tents were being put up. It did not hinder the kids fun at all though. I was told that in the summer it is a bmx track, rc track..and is owned and operated by the city of Frisco. It is great for the kids.

By islandgirl237 |

We went tubing on the Saturday evening before Christmas with a small group of family ranging in age from 12 to 60ish. Since we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait about an hour to get on the tubing hill. Once we did though, it was great time. We got 5-6 runs in during our hour. The staff did a great job of making sure everyone was safe, but also had a good time. I would recommend making reservations if you can. We tried to go back a few days later, but due to the line, we would have had to wait for 2+ hours.

By Lakegirlindianapolis |

Our kids had such a great time at the adventure park. We happened to get a last minute reservation (someone cancelled). You have to have a reservation. It's very popular. The best thing was the lodge, which was cozy with snacks and even a small selection of beer. How nice after an afternoon of cross country skiing across the street.

By clearancekelly |

Did a night time sleigh ride to dinner in large tent, very nice evening, staff extremely friendly and fun. Stars were amazing.

By Oscar G |

If you want to have joint family fun, and want to skip downhill skying Frisco Adventure Park is the place. The public free sledding hil is just behind the parking of the nordic center. The nordic center and Lodge are one across the otther. Tubing is great fun. During touris season reservations or calling ahead to find out the wait times is essential.

If it is snowing it is even more fun. Snowshoeing through various trails, lakes and mountains make this a perfect place for snow fun.

By Rick M |

The idea sounded great. The actuality of the experience was less than satisfying.

$30 for one hour.

Pros: There is an escalator/lift that takes you to the top.

Cons: Guys in the demo area more interested in their phones. Ok here's a video.... Ok go outside and enjoy?

We found out quickly that going from the bottom to the top and sliding down took an average of 15 minutes, so you might get 4 rides in an hour if you hurry?

Like I said kind of fun but not worth the effort.

Would I recommend this to anyone looking for something to do in the Frisco/Breckenridge area? No, not really.

By Keith P |

What fun! We went on a reservation at 11 am on a Tuesday and basically had the place to ourselves. The folks working here are great and they made sure we had a blast. I highly recommend it for families and friends.

By Steven0820 |

This is the first time I've been tubing since I was a kid. 5 adults went and had a great time. Guys at the top of the hill work hard to spin you and work with the type of run you want to do.

By The escape experts |

went tubing in the morning and was not crowded nd had a great time and then went to fresco for lunch and shopping. A great day off the slopes

By GoodKidReviews |

In the summer the Frisco Adventure Park has the coolest mtn bike trails. I stuck to the easy trails although the harder ones looked pretty good also. I also really liked the bike jump park also. This place is a MUST visit for mountain bikers and amateur bikers alike!

By Makayla R |

This place is so fun! Perfect way to end our ski trip. At first it was pretty scary because I hate going fast downhill (LOL) but the staff was super friendly and just “barely let me go” like I asked. 10/10 recommend!!

By Jan E |

This is a great way to spend time with family and friends. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you're having fun. Straight down or spinning all way - they do their best to make sure you have a fun ride all the way down. Link up to 4 tubes and you'll have fun aplenty! Make your reservations online before you go so that you can plan your time to include a visit in town - lots of nice shops and restaurants. Fun, fun, fun!

By cjds |

We were a family group of two sets of gandparents, parents, and two teens. We purchased the one hour tubing which worked well for us. We came down as singles, doubles, and quads and had a really good time. Altitude made walking up to runners a bit challenging, but we made about 6 runs in our hour....enough to get a good feel....it was a great option for varied ages. There were lots of really small ones who went down the slopes alone without issue, so should be good for any group. Hot chocolate inside a the end was a nice touch. It would be possible to get longer times with a break in between, but the hour suited us well.

By Ddiaz |

This adventure park is perfect to take a break between hitting the slopes. We had a variety of ages in our group and everyone had fun. There are different activities to choose from but keep in mind its best to reserve prior to going there. Some of the activities have a different contact info and they get booked fast. If you're planning to visit this area call ahead of time or the day of arrival to secure your spots. Don't forget to go snow tubing, everyone will feel the same age while going down the hill. Dress in layers to prvent getting too hot and drink plenty of water. Strongly recommend this park. It was much fun!!!!

By DrBron |

We had 2 one hour sessions tubing at Frisco Adventure Park - a group of 5 adults. We had such an amazing time - none of us had ever been tubing before. This was a great experience for people of many ages and needs no special skills or abilities. It was great!

By jaxdoc123 |

Greatly enjoyed tubing here . The staff were very pleasant and kind . The kids had a blast . This is our second trip and will gladly return .

Book in advance

By Gerald L |

Visited 4 times prior. Seems like they have slowed the incline conveyor and increased the number of bookings. On previous trips it was easy to get 5-6 trips down the hill. This time only 3 times in one hour. This has always been a fun part of our vacation to Breckenridge/Frisco. Not so much this trip.

By Bronte W |

Wow! We had one hour of great fun tubing!
Staff were super friendly and helpful- lots of laughs and got to see the sun go down over the Rocky Mountains right in front off the tubing slides.
We will be back! :-)

By laurenadonis |

This was the best part of our visit. We are not skiers so this was a perfect activity to do as a family. Every staff member we encountered were super courteous and polite. They were also very accommodating with the children. The drive to Frisco from Denver is insanely scenic and somewhat surreal (I'm from Texas y'all!). The kids did the Tubble Bubble and had a blast with that! A definite must and worth every single penny!! Just a small suggestion...get there early and make sure you have a reservation!

By AdventureTripping |

The tubing hill is nice for kids, but not steep enough to keep speed, even for adults. Zorbing is cool for first timers. Cross country tracks are nice and offer variety of loops.

By mnobles4 |

The tubing was a blast. The magic carpet transports you to the top where there is almost no wait. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Evan really went all out to make the experience more exciting when we wanted that, and reassuring when we (the mom, really) wanted that. Fun family activity!

By McCown5 |

The tubing alone was definitely worth a visit to the park. Our kids, ranging in age from 4-9, had a blast. (As did their parents!) You reserve your slot, get their a few minutes before to watch an instructional video and then they let you out. Grab a tube (everyone need a tube, no double riders) and head to the escalator that takes you to the top. You can ride down with as many as 4 riders (again, each in their own tube). We had a blast in our hour time slot. Would do again!

By Max B |

James at the concession stand was extremely friendly, and was able to offer information on all phases of the Frisco operation. It was a phenomenal first impression.

By Bryan B |

We went twice this week. The weather was very warm and we didn't feel like paying the exorbitant prices at the resorts. Our kids (6&4) loved it. The hills aren't super steep but the kids loved it. I could see older kids getting bored fairly quickly. We got 5 runs in during our hour session, but probably could have squeezed in one more.

The second day I took the kids up to teach them to ski. For $54 for the day (with coupon) I took the 6&4 year old up and gave them lessons on the hill next to the tubing. Each boy got 6 runs in. We had looked at Keystone the day before and this hill was bigger and longer than the kids zone there. It was also about $290 cheaper. Yes Keystone had a professional instructor, but at this age it's hardly worth it if your willing to give up a day on the slopes yourself.

By Laurat33 |

Be sure to plan ahead and make a reservation for tubing - a great activity for a day off from skiing , or for those who don’t want to ski. We went ahead and booked 2 hours - the second hour is only $10 and that first hour goes fast! Lots of fun for all ages - not scary or crazy but worth it! Great time

By Victoria S |

My niece and nephew (both under 7) were pooped out after one day of ski school - but still wanted to get out and enjoy the snowy weather they don't get to experience in Florida.

The Tubing Hill at the Frisco Adventure Park was just the ticket - they had a great time riding the magic carpet up and riding down the different tracks, getting spun around... Smiles all around.

Very reasonably priced and easy to get to.

By BudSnow |

Young kids and adults all had a fun time riding down the hill. A good way to spend a morning of a rest day between skiing. We got to do about 6 runs in an hour, it was not busy.

By Ashley32905 |

A few friends and I headed to the Frisco Adventure park for some snow tubing on a day we were too tired to ski again. It costs $25 for the first hour (per person) then $10 an hour after that so it's pretty inexpensive. It wasn't crowded when we went so one hour was plenty of time. there are about 5 or 6 different lanes for the tubes to go down and you can either go straight down or ask them to spin you. Good fun for all ages and a great way to spend an afternoon if you don't want to ski. I saw kids as small as 5 or under on the tubes so they must all be welcome.

By kloos8 |

A married couple took a break from skiing and went tubing for 1 hr at this venue. We honestly had so much fun! Well run place, great tubes, good speed, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

By Heather Dawson Schrock |

We came this visit to snow shoe and CC ski, we ended up booking this hour on tube slide for Sunday before the headed home. It was such a cool fun experience we are bringing family back in few weeks.

By traveldentist74 |

This place is the greediest, most unethical business I have ever run across. Took our kids here for tubing on a Saturday. You have to make a reservation which might lead you to believe they do that because of a limited number of tubes or to make sure that that it doesn’t get too crowded so everyone gets a good number of runs in and gets their money’s worth. WRONG! So you pay $30/hr to stand in long lines both at the bottom AND the top of the hill! Average number of runs per hour: 4 maybe 5! Our kids were running their tails off and hustling to get in as many runs as possible and got 5. The ownership/management should be ashamed of the racket they are running. And the day lodge is a filthy mess. Food debris everywhere and bathrooms I wouldn’t let a trucker use much less my kids. Shame shame shame. I feel ashamed as a Coloradoan that a place like this is frequented by so many visitors from out of state. I hope they don’t think this cesspool is a reflection of how people/businesses in this state operate.

By Bookeworm |

We had a great time tubing and felt very safe with staff around, prepping and keeping an eye on things. Equipment was in good condition.

I would definitely go again.

By John V |

This is the best snowtubing for the price in Colorado. Definitely go for 2 hours instead of 1, it's worth the price. The staff are very friendly and enjoy their jobs. Make reservations in advance because they fill up and you may not get a spot for several hours. Traffic through the tunnel back to Denver can be very bad. Fill up with gas and supplies before.

By ColoradoCaitlin |

I would say the hills are pretty intense. My 2 and 3 year old cried but they made it lol It was a lot of fun. I would say better for aged 5-6 and up! I found it expensive, it was 25 a person for 1 hour and ages did not discount price. So for my toddlers they only made it 30 minutes so I felt like money was wasted from that. Overall good time and very friendly and helpful staff

By rlbmces |

The trails were well groomed and the price of equipment a good deal for seniors. I just wish I had a place like this to cross country in NC. I guess it could be the lack of snow.

By Natalie |

I went with a group of friends on a day where the snow was not the best so getting down the hill was not as easy as normal but i was EXTREMELY impressed with the staffs dedication!

The were doing their very best to down as fast and fun as possible. Every one was so nice and we really had a blast. We were able to have slope races and more. IT WAS AWESOME!

I will definitely be back and it is sooooo cheap!

Get your tickets in advance though! (Important)

By WendyM1023 |

First time snow tubing and we had a great time. Got 5 runs out of our hour long session. We tried single rider, double and triple and the double run was the fastest. We were airborne for a second or two. Great views of the lake from the top. Will try it again in the future.

By MamaLikesToTravel16 |

This place is so much fun! My kids could not get enough of tubing down the mountain! I would recommend buying two hours of time though because one is definitely not enough. The great part is they have a little place to get food down in the lodge at the bottom so you can get refreshments when you need a break. We absolutely loved it here and will be back again for sure!

By Unruly69 |

Three of us were staying in Boulder, Colorado and decided we needed to try out some snow tubing. I looked on-line and found Frisco Adventure Park. We made reservations for a Saturday at 10am. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes early to complete a waiver form and get your passes. We left Boulder in a decent amount of time to get there but ran into some bad weather (high winds) so I called to see if they could change our reservations and they made them for 11:30 which worked out perfectly for us. The Mountain View from Boulder to Frisco was gorgeous. The adventure park has a lot to do for children, they have the big balls you climb inside and run around, a beginner ski slope for skiing and snow boarding, and the snow tubing hills. (In the summer they also have bike trails and disc golf). You pay for an hour of tubing and there are quite a few hills to go down (I believe around 6). They allow you to go down solo or in groups and also ask if you want to go down straight or spinning. The hills aren’t huge but really nice if you like casual fun. There is also a people mover to take you back up the hill. The view is breathtaking and the lodge is nice. A great spot for family fun. If you are looking for high thrills this is not the place.

Enjoyed an hour of tubing on a nice January afternoon.
$20 per adult for one hour. It was not crowded so we got
6 turns in over that time. the magic carpet takes you and your tube back up to the top. It is fun to come flying down the chute. Large warming house with snacks for sale , lots of parking and large bathroom facilities

I visited the Frisco Adventure Park with my family in March of 2016. I had called ahead of time and the young man stated that we did not need a reservation. We drive 2 hours out of our way to visit this park and upon our arrival, we were told that we could not gain access to the park without a reservation. I informed the young lady at the ticket booth about my previous conversation and she informed me that I must have misunderstood the phone conversation. I then asked if I could wait to see if a previous reservation does not show and she rudely informed me that I was free to choose but all reservations would arrive. A man in line heard the conversation and stated that he had 3 open spaces on his reservation that we could use but we had 4 people. The young lady still refused our family since 1 child was not covered by a reservation. I am very disappointed in our service and outcome of our visit. The park looked fun but our children loaded in our car with tears. This was suppose to be a fun experience but It was everything but fun. Due to my treatment, I refuse to recommend this venue.

The event we attended kind of takes over the center, so I can't comment on daily operations, but the center handles the large turnout well, the groomed course is nice with lovely views at all turns, the gathering building was clean and bright.

My kids like it and have a great time when we come up. Even my great aunts had a ball on the inner tubes. An hour is plenty of time to go.

Just 15 minutes from Breckenridge. Very nice place, spacious a d so much to do for the whole family. We had made reservations because today was New Years but i am not sure if you need then during normal days. We did tubing and it was awesome. Very organized, safe and fun. The staff that works on the mountain are extremely helpful and friendly. Make sure to buy a picture. There are photographers in some of the tubing lines, taking candid pictures while yiu tube.

We bought some sea-levelers out for some Mountain fun and this was definitely a highlight. It was blowing snow like a crazy beast at the top, but the attendants were amazing - “you guys want to spin?!?” We had such a blast. Also for reference, there’s a great sledding hill in the same complex just across the parking lot from the tubing hill (and it’s free!)...still worth tubing though, those hills are deceptive, you end up going pretty fast!

Loved this place with so much to do, you can either ride sleighs, tube down a mountain, snowboard or ski. Everyone that works there is so friendly and helpful. We had a such a great time.

We has a great visit to Frisco Adventure Park! We loved the tubing hill and the giant bubbles that my kids rolled around in. The staff was very helpful! I would definitely recommend!

Took a day off from skiing and decided to try out snow tubing. Turned out to be even more fun than we anticipated! Tubed for an hour, chilled for an hour in Frisco Adventure Park's comfy lodge, then went back out for another hour of fun. The scenery is beautiful, the people are really friendly, the facility is first-rate, and snow tubing is just plain fun! Absolutely no complaints or suggestions for improvement. Really like that they're flexible and you can decide after your first hour if you want to do another hour (and even take a break between). Be sure to ask for a good spin at the top (you can even request a "vomit comet"), and grab a few friends and tube down together. I highly recommend this activity!!

By tperry2016 |

I felt this activity was overpriced for the 1 hour session. Also, the weather was warm, making tubing very slow and no discount was offered.
Staff seemed very uninterested in assisting the families that were there for tubing, especially the families with young children.

It's easy, it's fun, it's convenient !
If you have a day / half day / or an hour or two and looking for something outdoors to do you should , without doubt, give this a try!
Near downtown Frisco, the parking is easy, the lodge is comfortable , and the hill is better than the ones at the ski venues.

The tubbing was fun. The Park also has a free sled area. Walmart was right down the street. We picked up a couple of sleds $14 each. My boys were entertained for hours.

We really loved Nordic Ski are at Frisco Adventure Park. Trails were well groomed, and not too hilly for beginners. Trails were not crowded, were beautiful and we always knew where we were. Rental building had tables where we could eat lunch in the warm. We also really enjoyed the community sledding hill, not too long, plenty fast, great snow, not too crowded. We loved this place and would definitely go back. We did not do the tubing hill, it looks fun but very busy and I think it is expensive.

Reservation ahead in the holiday season. It was lots of fun. Not too crowd. Nice staff. They had fireplace and rest area. There were also bubble fighting which was fun but required lots of effort to play.

I had a friend in town who had never seen snow. What better way to show them snow and a good time than tubing down a hill. The staff were extremely friendly and would spin us down the hill. I felt like a kid but without all the crazy work of hiking up the hill since they have a magic carpet to go up. In 1 hour, we got about 5 rides in. We probably could have squeezed in one more if we really tired but we were cold and ready to go warm up. Total blast and I would do it again! Make sure you have a reservation because it you just show up without one, you probably will be disappointed. It was easy to do on-line and then we just planned our day appropriately.

This was our kids ages (10,12,13) first visit to colorado. They said had one of the best times of their life there! They snow tubing in frisco was awesome. They had multiple lanes open, hardly any wait time! This was a fun event for the whole family together! We can't wait to go back! Thank you Frisco Adventure Park for the amazing memories and awesome time!

We went here for a break from skiing and it is worth every penny. I have not had that much fun in a long time, i was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and will spin you as fast or slow as you like. I definitely recommend tubing for anyone and everyone of all ages.

By sofitastic |

We went snow tubing one afternoon and I was kind of disappointed the slopes were short and not that steep.
I have done some better snow tubing at other locations.
It was still fun.

By snowfun76 |

Had family out in February, we did the tubing hill and we all had a great time, it was a workout going from the bottom of the hill to the magic carpet, the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I would definitely go again!

Very mixed feelings about this place. My oldest age 12 loved it! My husband and I both thought it was fun but a poor value. The day we went was booked solid so only got in 3 runs. That's not much for the cost. My youngest age 4.5 and I only rode once. I should have known it wasn't going to go well when the safety instructor said "you need to lift your bum at the end because it's really bumpy!" When we got to the top and put the 46 inch tall child into the tube it was obvious he would not be able to hold himself off the bottom. He started crying half way because he sank all the way down and felt every bump. We were not alone in this problem. Many kids the same age/size were leaving with a parent after one unhappy run. I think we should at a minimum have been warned when we bought our tickets. If the big guys hadn't loved this so much I would have given it a 2.

We have been to the Frisco Adventure park both last winter and just recently and had a great time both times. We live in TX, so it was a great opportunity for us non-skiers and kiddos to enjoy fun in the snow without risking life and limb. We went Dec 31, so they were pretty packed with a scheduled time 2 hours later, so just be mentally prepared for that. As a result, we went to Breckenridge for lunch and road the (free) gondola there which worked out fantastically.

Better than the Colorado Adventure Park in Frasier, this one is located conveniently off the highway, has more hills on each run, and best of all, has people to push and spin you. No aching shoulders the next day from trying to inch down the mountain to get started. The magic carpet is so nice for getting back up the hill.

Download the disclaimer before you go to save time, and make a reservation if you can if you are pressed for time.

If you are into cross country or snow shoeing, there is a Nordic center across the parking lot.

By Rubi R |

We loved it! It was so much fun! We had a bug family from all ages to 2years old to 60 year olds they all had a blast!

By IamHRex |

$90 for 1 hour of tubing with me and two kids (6 & 8 year olds) is a bit high considering you spend most of your time pulling the kids from the bottom up to the start of the magic carpet. For that money the carpet should pick you up where the run ends. It's a good workout but don't expect to not have to put some effort into getting back up the hill.

Frisco is one of the most beautiful places in the World. This Adventure Park has family fun all in one place. One likes skateboarding , two like biking, two like kayaks, all happy fun. There is a nice city park too ,complete with it's own whitewater creek, the locals kayak all day.

Visited recently and there is a free sledding hill behind the Nordic center which is awesome. It was fun and free and had spectacular views.

By Kitty L |

Staff very knowledgable, friendly-Didnt order any food from cafe. Prior to activities, there was a 'How To' video to watch...
Great fun for groups, families

By Keith |

The tubing hill was great fun for adults and children alike. There is a little waking involved each time but it's on flat ground. All the uphill is on a magic carpet which makes it pretty nice.

By gjames80 |

At first we balked at the price, but we were dealing with a serious case of altitude sickness and really needed the conveyor belt to make it up the hills. If turned out to be a lot more fun than we anticipated. The timed entrances keep it from getting too busy. We went on Christmas Eve and it was great. Get your reservation in advance, a lot of people were turned away. We got 5-6 leisurely runs done in our time slot.

By daisyelaine2015 |

This was a favorite family outing during our Breckenridge vacation. The park has an escalator to take you to the top, and with a 2.5 and 4.5 year old in our group, this made it perfect. The adults and kids enjoyed tubing down the hill and could have easily spent more time there. The rates are by the hour, and we stayed for one hour. There's a nice lodge with tables and a fire for those who want to watch rather than participate. A snack stand is also available.

The tubing slopes are exciting for all ages. The park is very well run with friendly and helpful staff. There is a free sledding area at the end of the parking lot for fun after tubing.

Make sure you have reservations, which brings up the one big negative. The website is very poor and hard to use. You have to either use the website to make a reservation (you can call, but only during office hours). For such a well-run physical facility it’s unfortunate their internet presence is subpar.

By SamanthaL |

We went tubing at Frisco adventure park! The youngest person was 10 and the oldest was 40. Everyone had a blast! There are different slopes you can go down and you can go by yourself or in groups! Once you are done there is a little walk way that brings you to the top so you don’t have to walk back up! We did an hour time slot and it was perfect. I would recommend snow pants and something to cover your face, it gets cold!

By Shelly C |

We love to walk and so we walked to the adventure park. There was a lot to do. Sledding, tubing, x-country skiing, snowshoeing or just hiking. They have lots of groomed paths and trails. We walked one of the snowshoeing trails down by the resevoir and it was beautiful.

Easy to make a reservation. Easy to find. Friendly staff. Fair price. Our family of four had a great afternoon snow tubing here. We would come back on another winter/spring visit.

By Baumie84 |

We went to Colorado from January 11-15 and the main purpose of the trip was to take our 3 kids to see snow for the first time (we're from Houston). We stayed in Colorado Springs and were disappointed there wasn't snow there like there was when my boyfriend and I travelled there last February. We ended up finding out about this place and after a short drive the kids got to see and play in plenty of snow! They loooveeeddd tubing and the staff was all helpful and friendly. Would go again, even the adults had a blast!

By KRISTIE H |

My kids, age 7 and 9 spent an hour on the tube hill. On every ride down, they had the biggest smiles I've ever seen on them. Enough said!

By MarianneB2267 |

If you enjoy, biking, skateboarding, or tubing, you will love this place. The staff is friendly on the tubing hill in the winter. The bike park has lots of variety for different skill levels.

By Crossrn |

We came early in the year, so all we did was the tubing. They also have a sledding hill and later in the year skiing and boarding. The staff is super friendly and informative. We only did 1 hour of tubing which was plenty for us. We were able to make about 5 runs down the hill in that time. The best thing is the “magic carpet” which is a conveyer belt up to the top so you don’t get so exhausted. Would definitely do again

By Makusaf |

This was an amazing experience! Went with my wife and twin 7 year olds, and another family of four.
We all had so much fun snow tubing!
The staff were very friendly and professional.
The views were also amazing!!
Would definitely recommend!

By Lyndsey L |

If you haven’t ever done it, go ahead and take everyone for the tubing hill. Make a reservation as they only allow so many at a time on the hill. We found it for boring after a few trips down the hill, and for what they charge we had hoped it would be more of a thrill.

By Lindsay B |

We came here for ski lessons for my 8 year old son and we also did tubing, it was fun! I just wish the ski lesson was longer; it was only 45 minutes on a very (almost flat hill). Other than that, it was fun for a low-key activity afternoon.

By jshafroth |

The most convenient tubing hill in the area, where you check in an immediately go tubing.Lots of shutes and scheduling that means you do not have long waits. Longest runs of any of the tubing hills, which means you spend less time on the magic carpet. Awesome Penguin safety video. You do have a bit of a walk from the bottom of the hill to go back up the magic carpet. The Day Lodge is a nice place for folks to hang out before or after their tubing adventure or for those who might not want to go or for children who do not meet the 36" height minimum. There is a public classic sledding hill to the north of the parking lots if you have sleds and some members of your family are too young for tubing. Each child has to be in their own tube but you can hang onto their tube if young children are nervous about going by themselves, or more likely their parents are too afraid to let them. The group tube - up to four tubes, with a spin is blast and great for a GoPro movies.

stopped in here at the last minute and they were accomidating. kids and grown-ups had a good time tubing and the price was not bad. employees were freindly and helpfull. look for coupons in local guide books.

By Aaron |

Parking is a little scarce, but seems to be manageable due to metered/scheduled entry. Competes with adjacent free sledding hill.

Check-in process is smooth and can be even easier if you sign your liability waiver on-line.

Staff was pleasant, friendly, and professional. Good-hearted people work here.

There are three runs on a single hill. A one-hour visit is plenty. This place is nice for what it was, but I've been to others which offer more variety of hills and runs and is more self-guided than this heavily regulated/structured establishment. (The structure is necessary to keep kids and adults who can't pay attention to their surroundings from being run-over.)

So, this is a great place if you have younger kids.

By Barbara G |

The tubing runs are fun but the wait to get up the hill is ridiculous. The $25/hr fee is steep considering you only get in a few runs between all the waiting up the magic carpet.

By Alaster83 |

We were fortunate to get to tube without a reservation ! The facility is nice , and an hour is plenty long! Don't worry. I needed clarification so I will share . The tube only holds one person but you can great a cluster of 2,3,4 to go down the hill together . Dress warm ,and if possible protect your eyes . The wind can really pick up . We enjoyed spinning down the hill.

By Rainey G |

The kids got to rate this one. Spent two days here over Spring Break. The first day was a little warm, so we didn't tube...hill was too slow. Sledding was really fun. Our second day was cold and snowy and tubing was awesome. Even during Spring Break the lines weren't bad at all. Location was easy to get to being just past the tunnel and not far off freeway. Very nice facility!

By Sightseer721724 |

I brought people from out of state and I’m extremely embarrassed of this facility’s representation of our community. It seemed like the staff was playing a game of who could be more rude. The customer is never right and I will not be going back or recommending this place ever.
