We had booked another event in Elkins and ran across an advertisement for Gandy Dancer by accident. WE decided to attend and this evening FAR exceeded our expectations. The band and vocalists were professional grade and the show lasted nearly two hours. The dinner was the same for all patrons and included chicken, pork, vegetable, cole slaw, bread and drink. Very reasonably priced. We will return with friends at some point! Great job Gandy Dancer!

Show was great. Service was excellent for meal. Staff was really friendly. Dessert was excellent. Didn't care for the potatoes or baked beans, but that was just my opinion.

My husband and I was reluctant but this show was a 10! I was so impressed by the talent and so lucky it’s in Elkins WV. I felt like I was in Vegas!! The drummer escorted us to our table and came out at intermission to check on us! Another performer stopped at intermission and asked if we was enjoying the show!! Only recommendation is call early because they ran out of dinner and was only able to sell the show tickets. But I heard dinner was as great and I plan to re visit!!

The young men and ladies, and the one not so young gentleman, have such talent and skills that it's hard to believe they are not in New York, or other more famous places singing and dancing. They are absolutely awesome! We saw two of their shows on our trip and each was just as good as the other. I thoroughly enjoyed both! Excellent talent!!!

The performances were exceptional and enjoyed every minute of it. Kudos to the two servers who were absolutely amazing. They were attentive to everyone's needs. I do have only one suggestion. The placard that suggest a $3.00 tip is inane. I was told that "That is the industry standard". If it is, that needs to change. I personally tipped our server $20 and encouraged all other patrons to to ignore that $3.00 tip and increase their tip accordingly. If we are evr in the area, we will attend again!

Traveled w/group from Wolf Bus Lines York Springs PA. Felt welcomed from moment I stepped foot in theatre. Wait staff while short-staffed were accommodating & attentive. Food was hot & tasty. Performers were so talented, performance was engaging. Nina changed customs 11 times.

The meal prior to the show is optional. We chose to eat dinner there as well. The meal was good, not fantastic, but very satisfactory. The entertainment was excellent...very professional, but low key and relaxing at the same time. I thought the meal and entertainment combined were reasonably priced given the overal quality.

I was looking for something for my entire family of married couples 5, making it 10 people, but 1 cancelled and we ended up with 8. great show, wonderful service, and kind folks.. we laughed, shared and took photo's.. will do this again. I had been to other shows, this layout of tables was a little different, we had to do a little leaning, and chair adjusting to see around taller folks in front of us, but other than that the experience was Grand..

The food and service were great; even though the chicken was a little dry. A little more gravy would have helped with this. Just my opinion.

The show was enjoyable. I did notice that some of the dancers would sing a line along with the vocal soloist. It was a bit distracting. Either all four dancers need to sing or none of them. I realize that one of the dancers was also a singer. Her passion was evident. However, as stated above, singing with the soloist was a bit distracting. Just my opinion.

I also appreciated two of the band performers greeting our bus, praying over our meal before we left our bus, and thanking us for our attendance that evening after the show. I have never been to a dinner theater where this was done before. Thank you and Merry Christmas!!

The show was absolutely amazing. Couldn't see a show any better even in Branson. Aaron-Rocky-Nina-Clint-Greg and David are all great singers and musicians. Plus don't forget Ralph is does a great job also

This is one of the best shows that can rock you through the ages of music. The vocal talent is amazing, the dancers are superb and they love God and country. Best money we have ever spent. Totally enjoyed the show from beginning to end. The people of West Va have very kind hearts.

We really enjoyed the trip to West Va and to the Gandy Theater! The performers and musicians were so good. Too bad they aren’t closer to Sanford NC so we could visit more often. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Our family has attended the dinner and show at Gandy Dancer twice in recent years and both visits have been wonderful! The owner and staff are truly appreciative of your attendance and make sure to make you feel right at home at every performance. We highly recommend this event and will attend again the next time we visit this area!

We were looking for something to do while camping and visiting the Green Bank Telescopes. Gandy Dancer turned out to be the perfect evening. The singers are having as much fun as the audience and the band joins in the fun while providing great accompaniment! And...they feed you!

My Senior citizen group visited the premier show, OH MY what an evening it was!! Food was great service fast and courteous. The show was top notch. Our group was up dancing by our seats singing along to about every song. Where else can you have dinner and 2 hours of wholesome entertainment? The Gandy Dancer would be the only place around here. We are planning our next trip to the tribute show now.

Excellent meal followed by a rousing, entertaining show. The wide selection of era and genre of music as well as the singing and dance performances of the actors/singers was brilliant!

Super show!! Amazing musicians/entertainers!! Nina Sharp and Rocky Hebb are top notch! The band consists of multitalented performers!! A hidden gem in the mountains of Wv!!

The cast if singers were excellent, Beautiful singing! The food was very, very good. Especially the lemon cake!

The dinner & show were both fantastic. We couldn't get over the fact that each song that was sung sounded just like the artist that recorded that song. The gal that sang all the female songs just belted them out and you thought that the actual artist was singing. Every performer was great. Can't say enough about the show. Can't wait until we can make another show.

My mom, sister and I attended the music through the ages show on a Saturday night. It was magnificent!!! Food was awesome, staff were there to make sure you had a wonderful experience. If you are in the area and love Branson style entertainment, you have got to do a dinner and show. You won't be disappointed....I promise.

I stumbled on this little jewel by pure accident. We spent the money. The food was ok. It wasn’t outstanding. I have seen lots of shows like this. But never have I been in a more intimate setting with the shear raw talent of this show. I compare the musical talent to Jerry Lee Lewis or Charlie Daniels. And the vocalist compared to Whitney Houston or Kenny Rogers. So glad we saw this show!

Had my 90-year old in-laws visiting from NJ. Looking for something different to do, I found Gandy Dancer Theatre. We loved it!! The food was good and the entertainment was fantastic! And, I won the door prize, a ticket to any show the remainder of the year! We will definitely be putting it to use:)

It was a very entertaining show. Songs from 1950 to 1980, all very well performed. And the dancers were very good also. We had the supper with the show all was very good. Would definitely recommend seeing and hope to be able to come back for another show

This was my second time at their Christmas show. My wife and I took a 3-hour detour returning from a Thanksgiving gathering in Charlotte, NC. We stayed at the historical Graceland Inn for the night. The show was just as good as the last time. They even incorporated more audience interaction to make it more fun for us. The singing was fantastic. And we got to talk to and take pictures with all the performers. We really enjoyed it.

Excellent service. Good food. Show was fast-paced and included music that the audience could relate to. Colorful costumes and well-rehearsed choreography. Excellent singers and instrumentalists who were also personable.

The show was amazing the food was not so good. The chicken breast was very dry. We came on a bus trip so there were 49 of us so that could be the reason.

The Gandy Dancer Dinner Theater show was a 2-hour entertainment extravaganza. Famous Legend stars were performed by a very talented band, singers and dancers. My favorite imitation of the stars were: Dollie Pardon, Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley. Dinner was a delicious “down home” meal.

An evening at Gandy Dancer Theatre was very entertaining! The music was lively. It was apparent the performers enjoyed themselves and wanted the audience to do the same. The performers and staff were very welcoming!

I took my mother out for her birthday to the tribute to music legends dinner show. This was our first time at The Candy Dancer Theater. I have to admit from the time we were seated at our table the atmosphere made me feel like we were being welcome into a special family gathering like the fun was about to begin. The food was delicious, the server was friendly,and attentive. Your seated around strangers, but after a few moments they don’t seem like strangers anymore. The people we sat with actually were cast members of the upcoming murder dinner show this month.. The show itself was amazing. Talented performances from both the singers, band, stage staff, and hosts. The vocal impressions were astonishing. We had such a great time we are going to go back again next week. So If your looking for a good food,entertainment, and family fun you definitely need to check out The Candy Dancer Theater.

Wonderful show. Outstanding singing and tribute to Elvis and his career. Have been to your Christmas show as well in 2011. It was a wonderful show as well.

The show was outstanding and the actors did an excellent job. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. However we were traveling on a bus tour and almost every one of our group was hit with stomach issues 6-8 hours after we left the facility. Since we were all fed the same meal and lemon water, we assume it was an issue with the meal. I think the production was well done but hope future patrons do not encouter the same issue as our group did.

Great fun and entertainment! Premium Customer service and customer awareness, with extra friendly staff. Felt like home. We were celebrating our 45th anniversary on a limited budget, and wanted it to be special. What an enjoyable way to spend the evening, and special indeed..

Wonderful experience for the entire family of 4 including 2 kids (13 & 18). We all loved the show. The cinnamon rolls from the raffle were delicious.

This has been the second murder mystery dinner I have gone to at The Gandy Dancer. I was kept is suspence and laughted at the same time. It was an enjoyable evening to watch the play, music, singing, and dancing. The cast interacted with the audience.
The food was a great as well. The service was spectacular.

My family spent Thanksgiving in West Virginia. We went to the Gandy Dancer Theatre. The food was just ok but the service was great. We loved the show, especially the emphasis on the true meaning of Christmas.

We had a group event to come watch the Elvis show. The dinner was very good and the show was really great. This was our 3rd time to attend shows at Gandy Dancer. We think they are just as good as any Branson show. We are working on our next show in November, the Murder Mystery.

Enjoyed a great dinner show. The cast was outstanding and everyone on the staff was very friendly! We hope to return for another show soon.

My first show and I want to come back New Year’s Eve The girls were wonderful at dancing and singing Rocky did a wonderful job and I can’t remember the other guys names that came up in sang they did a wonderful job it was overall a very good time the lighting the sound was good it was clean the waitress was excellent

Great place for a fun evening if you like country music. The whole show was upbeat and enjoyable. The fiddler is excellent. Dinner was fine but not fancy, chicken and beans.

We were very pleased to discover this venue. We attended the Friday and Saturday shows which were different and enjoyable entertainment. It was so much fun listening to the variety of music and watching the talented dancers. Especially loved to hear the lead male and female singers! The food beforehand was delicious. If we come back to the area, we would attend another show.

Fun evening. Branson type family show with an excellent band, singers and four enthusiastic young dancers. Many costume changes add to the show. A very good dinner provided if the dinner option is selected. Simply stated, a nice very reasonably priced evening to just sit back and enjoy.

The food was great and the Entertainment was super great. We loved Tater. We were greeted by the owner when we went in. He came out to our bus and thanked us for coming. It was a AAA trip and they did a good job of arranging everything we did.

The performers are very talented. They played and sang a variety of music ranging from country, patriotic tunes, and a range of songs from the 30's to the 80's. Great show!

The Wallace satellite of Harrison Co Senior Citizens have visited the Gander Dancer Theatre 2 times now. The first was the Premier show in June then just this weekend for the Mountain Memories Christmas show. Both shows were family oriented and loaded with fun. We look forward to more trips in the future

We have attended shows at Gandy Theater for several years. Each show has been better than the one before. We had a nice meal and the entire cast of the show is amazing. We will be back for the Legends show in September.

Great talent, very enthusiastic actors and good food. Not easy to find today, especially in an area with less population. A bit out of the way but definitely worth the drive. Plus, if you like mountain scenery makes the drive even more enjoyable.

We just went to the Gandy Dancer for the first time and we had such an amazing time! The portions of the food were great and the service was amazing. The show was funny and the the performers really got the audience involved, not to mention they had incredible voices. Can’t wait to go back again!

Went and seen the 1 hour morning show Broadway to Gospel that featured Brennon Weese. What a show these 2 guys put on for us. I visit Pigeon Forge and other similiar areas and regularly go to shows, this performance was well above anything I am seeing there plus the facility at the Gandy Dancer is awesome.

Never fails to entertain! Been too many seasons to remember. Always fresh material every season. Never gets old. Meal was excellent as well!

I can’t remember when I have had so much fun in a group setting. The performers were really having a great time and was contagious. All the staff, and I do mean all, were so kind and courteous. They made sure everyone felt welcome. They even had the family name on our placemat! Very nice touch. Very nice door prizes. (Who does that?) The food tastes like you were eating at a friends’ house…actually, I guess we were.

The show was fantastic; the performers very talented, and while not as "polished" of a show as you see in Myrtle Beach or elsewhere....the talent in this group was BETTER than some I have seen in Myrtle Beach...seriously! Besides the music, there was humor as well.

My husband and I have never been to something so wonderful! From the moment you walk in the door - you will experience a great friendly atmosphere. The host will lead you to your seats where you will enjoy a gourmet meal right in front of the stage just before the show. I’m a vegetarian but they even had options for that which is wonderful. The show begins after dinner. I can’t even begin to explain how well thought out and the choreography is superb. The dancers and singers do an outfit change between each song so it leaves you wondering what they’ll be wearing next. The talent of everyone from the keyboard player, drums, base player you name it all the way up to including the singers and dancers will leave you with memories of a lifetime. We are a small town with HUGE talent! You will not be disappointed….

My wife and I wasn't sure what we were going to experience when we went, but we had a blast! Very entertaining and all who participated in the production did excellent and professional! The service was very good and attitudes were plesent. I would encourage anyone to be sure to go! You will not be disappointed!

This is the third time this year we have been to the Gandy Dancer. All three shows were terrific and had a great time. The Elvis tribute show was outstanding and everyone there seemed to have a great time. Food was good, entertainment fabulous. We always love the Gandy Dancer!

This was a great and fun entertainment for an evening on the road during our travels to West Virginia. You will not want to miss this opportunity. Oh, and did I mention they have great food too. Staff very helpful and friendly. Handled our motor coach filled with 38 hungry travelers very expeditiously. Always trying to serve us and make us feel welcome. Great stop in your travels.

What a great time we had. The performers were great. One could tell they loved what they were doing and had put in the time to practice and have a great show. The food was excellent. It was delicious with proper heat and proportion sized. Restrooms were clean and orderly.

There was not one bad thing about this at all. I enjoyed it so much!!! First time there and I will be back! The singers were spot on and the Independence day song, girlie, you were the bomb, you rocked that song. Good job!! Oh more thing, thank you for recognizing our soldiers and our healthcare medical staff and firdt responders. It meand alot to me that we get recognized. I am a home health caregiver and its nice to be recognized.

Great fun and the food was delicious. My only suggestion is if the show is going to be the length it is, which is great, get more comfortable chairs.

On our Fall Foliage trip, my friends and I stayed overnight in Elkins, WV. The day itself was spectacular, warm, sunny and 73 degrees, incredulous for Oct 25th! At night, we got tickets to Gandy Dancer Theater, a newish theater built for comfort and ease. I loved the show! There isn't a bad place to sit, wherever you are seated, you will see and hear the show. I saw the Tribute to Legends (Glen Campbell, Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston, Johnny Cash, etc., plus a tribute to Alex Trebek and a cute surprise at the end) show and the musicians were and ARE FANTASTIC! Such energy, really a fun night, and the show contained hilarity which made for lots of smiles and easy follow along. The costume changes were fun to look forward to and the musicians did the actual playing and singing themselves so the talent is clear to see.
If anything, I'd skip the dinner, the food is clearly frozen foodstuffs heated up. And that's ok, just not for me. The coffee was good though. That's why I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because of the food. It's covid, so I understand that the food can't be fresh and well made to serve hundreds, ya know.
Some things, the venue was very comfortable, I worried about air conditioning and heating, didn't have to! The tables, and chairs were clean. Alcohol is not served. Bathrooms are clean and close by. There is a little concession stand and tshirts sold. The emcee personally greeted the visitors as you enter in the building, such a nice treat. You can take all the photos you want, you can sing along and you can even jump up and join them on stage if you want (not sure if this applies to all the shows, only the one I'd attended in October 2021).
For the money and to spend a rainy night having fun, worth it!

We attended the show on July 15, 2022. Everything exceeded our expectations. The service, food and performance were fantastic. The next time we visit Elkins we will be sure to attend.

We saw the Premiere show, this was my 3 rd visit to the Gandy dancer. To anyone that has not had the opportunity to experience one of these sensational shows, I would highly recommend!!!

The show was great, very entertaining and fun. The food was pretty good, though the service was a little slow. Overall I would recommend this to my friends and family, but it could stand to have more than 2 servers.

Content was wonderful. I could have listened for hours!! The server was a delight. Although she was alone to cover the whole floor, she did a great job! Kudos to her!!

WE returned to the Gandy Dancer Theatre for the third year in August and once again the show and employees made for a great night out. We traveled from Pittsburgh PA for the Elvis tribute show and it's a great family friendly atmosphere something that is hard to find these days in any venue. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. The dinner provided was suitable for this kind of facility and the cost value is very affordable if a family is attending together. They have a variety of other shows which we have not seen yet but as luck would have it we won a return trip to another show as they have a drawing at every show for future events. We will be returning in the future to take advantage of the gift. All in all good wholesome entertainment.

The performances were awesome such talent. Felt I was hearing actual artist we made songs famous.

We had never heard of Gandy Theater but it was well worth the money. The performers are excellent!! They put on a great show of one hour country and one hour rock music. I didn't really expect to see that much talent in a small town but it was a nice surprise. Everyone was so friendly and courteous from the performers to the wait staff. The seating was excellent. You can see the stage from anywhere and they were very careful to social distance as much as possible. The meal of hamburger steak and chicken was delicious. They continually kept your drink glass full and asked if you needed anything else. I felt right at home.

My first experience at The GDT was the Christmas Matinee Show. We loved the show so much that before we left, we booked for the following weekend to reserve a whole section for our big family. Their energy on stage was contagious and performance was phenomenal. If you are looking for food, I highly recommend the Prime Rib from The Steer Steakhouse located right next door. A great one stop shop for a couples/family night out! Kid friendly as well.

What a great show! My two sisters and I had a small reunion in the Elkins area and decided to take in a show. It was well beyond our expectations. We couldn’t stop clapping and singing along.

This was my first time seeing the wonderful Musical they were great in there singing and comedian skit . From the moment you arrive the front staff make you feel very welcome. The waitress was very pleasant and was always making sure you had enough to drink, food was good and plenty. Would love to go back

This was the best show my wife and I have seen since ???? It was funny, it brought back old memories, and it was so entertaining that you forget about all your problems for 2 hours. Loved it and went to both shows.

My favorite part was the show! It was excellent! I especially like the Christian Christmas songs and "Mary did you know?" It was wonderful quality and very anointed! We come every year to Elkins and visit, shop and go to the show! Love it and look forward to it. I saw reviews online and decided to make Elkins a 2-day respite from work. We had such a great time at Gandy Dancer. The performers are all so talented and put on a great show. There was so much food and we could not eat it all. Our server was also top notch. We enjoyed every minute we were there. Will definitely be back.

Gandy Dancer Theater had wonderful music, a wide variety, withe superb dancers and those girls changed costumes every song! Over all experience was delightful. I took a bus load of passengers,48, and top reviews from most. A little loud for the older folks was my only negative comment.

The entertainment was top notch! Best stop on our 7 day bus trip. This was our last stop before heading back home on a JAG bus tour and even though tired from riding so long on bus, this show got our pulses going big time. The performers were very talented and entertaining.

We have never had a bad experience with the Gandee Dancers. This past Friday we went to their Christmas dinner show, we took friends who have never gone yet. I cannot tell you how many times they said it was an awesome show, really appreciated us bringing them along. We have gone to a lot of shows. We had to stop going while my husband was going through his cancer treatment, really missed taking the trip to Elkins for those 2 years.

The talent this group has matches the known singers on the radio. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The price for a dinner and show was so reasonable. The atmosphere in the theater is just awesome.

Spectacular!!! This is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. The band was great and so were all the singers. The young lady who sang was just incredible to say the least. A well deserved standing ovation!!! There was not any dancing during our two hour show just a variety of people singing songs. We had the dinner before the show and it was very good. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves live music.

If you haven’t attended one of the Gandy dancer dinner theater shows, I highly recommend it. We took a group of about 32 people and a good time was had by all! The food was decent, and the show was marvelous! We saw the tribute to musical greats and the performers were talented, funny, and engaging. The meal when we attended, consisted of chicken cordon blue and ground beef steak accompanied by green beans, baked potato ,coleslaw and rolls. They had an awesome lemon tart for dessert. Everything was hot and fresh. Don’t miss this dinner theater if you’re in the Elkins West Virginia area.

I was on a bus trip riding trains in West Virginia. We went to the Gandy Theatre for dinner and a show after one of the train rides. The food was cold and the ham dried out, but our bus was very late due to the train being late getting us back to the station and traffic delays. We were served promptly and efficiently. I enjoyed the Elvis tribute singer, but our itinerary said we would be enjoying the variety of music show.

I went to two great show. They sounded and acted just like the stars. They were great and very entertaining.

There were 10 in our party. This was a great time and very family friendly. The entertainment was very good and the food was delicious. Servers were very professional. This was a great experience with my wife and my Mother for her Christmas in July present. The singers, musicians and the dancers were great. Set in a cozy entertainment center, they performed so many songs from the 40's to the present. Never a dull moment throughout the 2 hour performance. And yes the food was very good too. Great staff of waitresses. Hope to go back for one of their other shows. Well worth the 3 hour drive to and from Elkins.

I took my wife there for her birthday weekend, and we were both amazed at the TALENT of the performers who could play *everything*. Dinner was good but Show was astounding. Friendly service and wholesome atmosphere. On Monday I was recommending it to many of my colleagues.

This was our first trip to WV, When planning the trip we saw the reviews for the show so we made a trip to Elkins. We were not disappointed . The show far exceeded our expectations! What a fun night of music and dancing. It is one of our favorite memories of our time in WV.

We are so blessed to have the Handy Dander Theater here in Elkins, WV. They have great food and great entertainment. I would recommend this theater to everyone. It has something for the young and old.

Nice place for a fun evening. Very nice building with ample parking. Personnel are all personable and professional. I was surprised to see our placemats were printed with last name on the reservation. Everyone has a designated table. The meal was better than I expected. No menu, but everything was good. The performances were also very good. Some singer impersonators were excellent, others only OK. All the music was live and very good. Only weak spot was a comedian in overalls that wasn’t very funny & a bit hard to understand. Also wish they had a beer & wine license. Overall, we had a great time and found ourselves clapping & singing along with songs we love.

The performance is absolutely amazing and the experience is just so fun! The show is so funny with the little skits that they add in. I went to the Christmas show but I had been to the Premier show in the past and it is even better!

The Gandy Dancer Theatre was a wonderful evening! The evening began with a warm welcome from the owner and star performers. The dinner was delicious! The show was outstanding! This was our second trip to the Gandy Dancer Theatre for the Aloha Elvis show and it gets better each time. The facility is a very nice comfortable venue with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very helpful especially Gina the CEO who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. We traveled from the Pittsburgh PA area which is about a three hour trip but well worth the effort and a great show. We plan to go back and see some of the other shows they produce.

Awesome. One of the most enjoyable shows I have been to in recent years. I especially enjoyed their time machine segment, showing film from different eras and then performing the appropriate music for that era. Highly recommend!

We loved the Show and a ball, the musicians were Amazing! Loved the mix of music and comedy. The Broasted Chicken Breast however was not very good. It was flavorless and dry. We did enjoy the pulled pork though.

I was on a bus tour that included the dinner show @ Gandy Dancer Theatre. These sorts of shows are not generally what I enjoy, but I was very impressed with the talent of the performers! The show kept up a fast pace and was very entertaining. I was very pleasantly surprised!

The show was very very good there is a great deal of talent on that stage with singing and dancing story telling. They get the audience involved with what is going on on the stage with their singing to get you to sing along with them. The outfits are awesome. I know that this is in Elkins West Virginia but I feel that this quality of talent and showmanship that these entertainers rank up their with Pigeon Forge or Branson. This was out first stop on our WV vacation. We really enjoyed the dinner and show. We will be returning again when we our ever in the area.

When our bus group arrived, we were welcomed by a gentleman who is the owner and also an actor and singer. We were led into the dinner theater to our seats, served our drinks and then feasted on a delicious supper! The evening show was filled with music from a fabulous band, actors and singers who impersonated country artists, and a duo of slapstick comedy for set changes. What I loved most were the fabulous voices of the actors, and the lively spirit of the band. We were welcomed to participate in sing-along and photo opts. This experience was truly a country breath of fresh air for me and down home hospitality.

Besides the bus tour group there were less tan five other people in the audience. The performance did not disappoint; the energy displayed and talent of the singers snd musicians was very very good. However, the food served was simply horrible. Some mystery meat patty thing with gravy, a piece of supposed chicken cordon blue, mushy canned green beans and tasteless cole slaw. The only thing that saved the meal was a good baked potato but no real butter to accompany it. A tiny sliver of lemon bundt cake was just “ok”. Overall: YUCK!

Staff was friendly and service was amazing. The show was one of the best I have been to in a very long time.

If you're looking for someplace to have a good meal and enjoy some great entertainment....this is the place. We have been to Branson, Nashville and Pigeon Forge and although the Gandy performers are not the name brand entertainers you find in those places the quality of the shows and perfotmances is GREAT. For this price you won't find a better evenings experience.

We love murder mysteries and have need to Gandy Dancer twice for them. Excellent performance both times. You get dinner with the show and a great experience. I highly recommend this. Keep them coming, G'na.

I visited Gandy Dancer as part of a bus excursion to Elkins from Harrisburg PA. What a surprise! Very talented and versatile performers.

When traveling you never know if a venue is going to be good or not. Well, let me tell you. It was excellent, fun filled musical. We sang, we laughed and had the best time Friday night we came back Saturday. They have two different shows on Fri/Sat both were excellent. Oh and the food was good! Highly rexommend!!!

What a wonderful discovery! My husband planned a "mystery date" and we ended up at the Gandy Dancer Theatre for the first time. He knows I love a variety of musical genres, so we totally enjoyed the show. The musicianship is great and the dinner was very good. I won the "door prize" which was a ticket to another show. So we went back for the "Premier" show and enjoyed that one even more. We're telling our friends about it!

We have recently been to the Elkins WV Gandy Dancer. To date we have seen The Music Legends and Aloha Elvis. Both shows were absolutely entertaining in their own way.We are planning on returning to see the other shows as well. The friendliness, seating, cleaniness, food and entertainment are very good. The Shows are a must see. Cant wait to return for another visit. You're missing out if you dont go. Its truly an enjoyable time.

The food was good and was too much so the girls sitting next to me, split it. Hopefully, will get my husband there so he can enjoy it also. I went with a senior's group so he didn't want to go. I thank you so much for the great time I had.

My wife and I went to the Saturday show on July 22, 2023. This is the second time we have gone to the Gandy for a show and have had an absolute wonderful time during both occasions. The crew is funny, and well versed in all of their routines. Again, we absolutely loved it and will be returning real soon...probably for the Christmas show.

This was my second trip to the Gandy Dancer. Again, I was amazed at the talent of this group. They are just good! They interact with the audience and always seem to have a good time. The food was exceptional! It was presented hot and the servers were smiling and accommodating! Great group!

This was our first experience with the dinner/show. Diana, who sold us our tickets, was the main reason we decided to attend. She was great to talk to and took the time to answer all of our questions and explain what we should expect from the evening.
PS: I was certain I would win the cinnamon rolls. Someone else was kind enough to save me from those deliciously fattening calories and fat grams. :-)

Our program included a band of 4 with vocalists performing "A Tribute to Musical Legends". Dinner was mediocre but the show was full of fun and laughter. Good seats for all to see and hear. Clean restrooms. Pleasant staff and performers. They offer a variety of programs of different nights.

Amazing vocalists! Massively multi-talented musicians! The Premiere Dinner Show delivers an incredible variety of popular music spanning decades! This ensemble entertains with song and humorous banter. The heart of the action is the lead singer whose fantastic talent is showcased in a stellar selection of tunes and accented with so many costume changes you can’t wait to see what she wears next!

You will hear music from Queen, Elton John, Madonna, Credence Clearwater Revival, Eagles, Whitney Houston, June and Johnny Cash, and so many more! My personal favorite was Love Shack which highlighted the three main singers. They knock this rockin’ song out of the park!

The extraordinary fiddle player is practically poetry in motion, and speaking of motion, the show includes four dancers who perform to many of the songs, wearing different costumes and doing different dance routines each time they come out on stage. Not only that, but all of their moves were amazingly in sync with each another. Very high energy!

This show, these entertainers, are truly deserving of every best of the best honor and certificate of excellence bestowed upon them!

My husband and I visit the Gandy Dancer at least once each season--usually two or three times. It is well worth the hour and a half drive for a Gandy show. The food is excellent, and the portions are large. The shows are always fantastic--very up-beat and professional. The performers are all extremely talented. Can't wait till the next season comes around in May!

Attended the Murder Mystery dinner theater. We had attended several times before for the shows and always enjoyed them. The show was excellent and kept our interest, audience participation was encouraged and enjoyed, the food was good. Definitely will go again.

The total experience was great. We would absolutely do it again, had so much fun.
The service was on point, the show was funny and the performance was very good.
The food however was only okay (Chicken Cordon Bleu, Hamburger Steak, Baked Potato, Green Bean) was the frozen box variety, but edible.

What a refreshing form of entertainment. While they have several types of shows, the one we went to was mostly singing, and we loved it. All types of music, oldies and newer, and lots of country too. Nina(I think is her name) did several Dolly Parton songs, and her performance was astonishing.
Also The Emcee Rocky was very entertaining. What a great evening.

After our train excursion, my wife were considering canceling our reservation at the Gandy. We decided to keep it and we were very glad we did. Our meal was nothing special but adequate for a dinner theatre. The show was upbeat and very entertaining. The band and dancers were hard working and talented. They put on a show the got the group all involved. My wife and I would definitely do it all again!

I was on a bus tour which included Gandy Dancer as one of the attractions. I was prepared for a typical "dinner theater" setup -- no elbow room, lousy food, wrangling a buffet line, etc. Not here! From the time we were greeted on the bus on arrival, everything was super. Every staff member was cordial, welcoming, and helpful to this mobility-challenged octogenarian. Tables were comfortably roomy, and the food was served on real china, at the table, by servers! The food was excellent and generous. After a great meal, we were treated to a musical extravaganza featuring fine musicians, singers, and dancers in a very high-energy performance. Of all the diverse attractions we enjoyed on our six-day vacation, in my opinion our visit to Gandy Dancer stands out as THE most entertaining, most memorable of all.

I wish the GDT was closer to where I live so I could go more often. I took my father and 2 sisters for a weekend vacation to take a train ride. I was trying to fill our weekend and came across this dinner show. This show exceeded my expectations and turned out to be the highlight of our weekend.

This was our third visit to the Gandy Dancer, and as usual a fantastic show... You can't find better musicians, singers, and dancers anywhere dinner was good and we had excellent service... My only complaint is Elkins is just too far from home to enable us to visit more often... You don't want to pass up on an opportunity to visit the Gandy Dancer

My wife and i have attended 2 dinner shows at the Gandy Dancer both of them have made for an enjoyable evening. The meals have been good and very filling and the entertainment has been wonderful. Terry and Pat Morgan

We went to the Gandy Dance Theatre for my birthday to see the Elvis Tribute. We had a excellent time. The show was great!! All of the staff were terrific!! I would highly recommend Gandy Dance Theatre !!

We went on a Saturday night to see the premiere show. It was such an awesome show. I wanted to get up and dance! The singers and musicians were so talented. I've visited others places throughout this country, and this show was by far, the best show I have ever seen! Will keep returning! Thank you for a great evening!!!

We saw the Legends show. It was FANTASTIC!! Our group had a lot of fun and enjoyed it as one of the highlights of our trip. The food was very plentiful and tasty with excellent service. It is a "must do" for anyone near Elkins, WV.

This was our very first time ever being there and it was something to remember.The food was very good but Robert Keefer as Elvis was really great.He is a wonderful entertainer and is great at what he does.I just want to thank you all very much for allowing us to be with you for New Years Eve.We hope to be there again soon.

We went for my parents 53rd wedding anniversary and had a great time. The food was good and the entertainment was great! Would definitely go back!

Extremely enjoyable. Suggestion: How about a musical tribute to "one hit wonders.?" As it is, you only perform one song from each individual...but one hit wonders allows for even more music (from a wide variety of genres) and include songs everyone knows, loves and can sing along with!

My husband and I received a very warm welcome upon our arrival. The food was very good and the show was amazing. We came on a Saturday evening for the Premiere Show. We highly recommend this show.

Saturday was our first experience at Gandy Dancer Theater . Wow, what an experience! Good food, excellent service, and outstanding performances. Highly recommend! We will be back!!

For two nights, the Candy Dancer Theater provided our motor coach group of 50 people with delicious food and wonderful entertainment. On the first night, we were an hour late arriving for our meal. Despite being late, the Sandy Theater served us hot food and adjusted their schedule to give us time to eat and then proceed with their entertainment. The first night was music from the legends. Great. We all sung along. The Sonny and Cher routine was hilarious. The second night presented a timeline of memorable songs, all performed live with a dance group incorporated. The entertainment exceeded our expectations and was the highlight of our five day motor coach trip.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Four of us ladies drove for a meal and a show. The food was good and the show was excellent! I will definitely go back! There was a mixture of Christmas music, gospel, country, and contemporary music.

My wife and I have been camping near Elkins in the fall the last few years. Started going to the Gandy Dancers show last fall.
Love it so much we also came down for the Christmas show. Just seen again and will be back hopefully with more friends. The servers bring your food and drinks. They make sure your drink is topped off. Meal was delicious and just enough. The show starts at 7pm sharp. Variety show was outstanding approximately 2 hours long. They play old music, new music, rock and roll, country, etc. They throw in some comedy, clean family show they make you feel like family. Nina and Rocky can really sing, musicians are the best. Many costume changes and entertainment doesn't stop. I live 2 hours away and love all of their shows

Fabulous show with such talented singers, dancers, and muscians. Meal was grilled chicken breast, pulled pork, new potatos, coleslaw and pinto beans with a lemon pound cake for dessert. The beans lacked flavor and the cake seemed to be store-bought. The meats were cooked to succulent juiciness. The potatoes appeared to be doctored up canned potatos. The coleslaw was good. The difference in price for with a meal and without a meal was a no brainer for us as we didnt want to miss a song.

We loved the legends show. It was so good. I Sharon Fawley and my husband go every year in October for our anniversary. We will go again. The singing is fabalous and the music is so entertaining. This show was loaded with talent. Everyone from the usher to the waitresses to the servers to the performers were very friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised at the outstanding performance of the Gandy Dancer Show.
The singers gave their all as well as the band and the dancers. We loved the music and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Found the Gandy Dancer show by accident. Great show! High energy! Professional! Couldn't believe a show this good was available in this area. We are definitely going again!

Enjoyed the show , very talented artists. Was on a bus tour of West Virginia and this was an included attraction. This show was the best part of our trip.

I came across this theatre while searching for things to do in the area. We considered canceling because it was a rather far drive for where we were staying but I am so glad we didn't. The meal prior to the show was very good! There was so much food my husband and I could have shared a plate! The servers were so sweet. The show was fantastic. We had the best time. We would love to go back for another show and we will definitely recommend to friends!

We planned our Thanksgiving trip to Elkins this year and bought tickets to the Christmas Dinner Show. We enjoyed every single second of it. The food was pretty good, not amazing, but no real complaints. We had our children with us (4, 9, & 9) and were slightly worried about them staying entertained for such a long time in the same spot (1 hour for dinner and 2 hour show), but they did amazing and hardly looked away from the stage. After, they thanked us and gushed about how much they enjoyed it, which doesn't always happen. The musical talents were phenomenal. Multiple of the songs were the best versions I've ever heard. They incorporated lots of kid-based performances that we all loved. The servers were great. We will definitely be back for another show at some time. Just wish we weren't 6 hours away! Thank you for an amazing family night!

Four of us women wanted a nice Christmas Program to see. One woman found this and the 3 of us jumped on board! What a wonderful time we did have. All four of us appreciated that the entertainers made us more than feel welcomed, but that they enjoyed so much putting their show on for us! Their enthusiasm was contagious and radiated throughout the entire program! The program touch so many emotions from laughter to patriotic, sadness to thankfulness, from praise, to reflective, and hope in the future! It was wonderful to see the cast jump forward for the selfies the people wanted without missing a beat! The music was not only preformed wonderfully, but well thought out and chosen! Costumes were amazing and the talent of the musicians was fantastic! Thank you for providing such wholesome entertainment for us to see!

My high school class had it's Reunion there, and it was amazing. The food was good, great service, and the Elvis show was amazing. Almost like watching the "real Elvis" Would definitely go again..

If you are looking for some great food and entertainment this is a great choice! My wife and I went to the music legends show and the stars put on a great impersonation of kenny Rodgers, Tanya Tucker, the Beetles, Whitney Houston, Martina Mcbride and many more great personalities in the music industry. It is a must see!

This show is amazing! The singers are top-notch and play a wide variety of music. They give you two hours of throw-backs to songs that everyone loves. I would go back again and again, if only I lived closer!

A great night of fun with some very talented musicians and singers. Dinner was served quickly and was hot and very filling. Actually more than I could eat but ate it anyway it was so good.

In one word our time spent at Gandy was Awesome. We were greeted with smiles when our tour bus arrived on site. Members of the Gandy Team came on our bus to welcome us and assist us to our seats. Great atmosphere and awesome entertainment. After the show each member of the Gandy Team thanked us personally. Food was great. I will certainly return on my next trip to West Virginia .

It was a Great Show and a great dinner. We were with the Senior Adventures bus tour of Elkins, West Virginia. The music and the musicians were exceptional. We totally enjoyed it. It was the diamond in the rough.

This attraction was part of a bus trip. The show was very good with many talented muscians. The singer was amazing. The dinner however wasn't great. Tastless BBQ sauce on the pulled pork, two dry potato wedges with two cookies for dessert. My chicken was juicy, but other people I spoke to said theirs was dry. Go for the show, but spend that extra $11 on dinner elsewhere.

We went to the Christmas show for our first time visiting the theatre. We have been to several dinner shows in Pigeon Forge and were skeptical as to how our local Gandy Dancer Theatre would stack up. I must say, we were very impressed!! The costumes were beautiful and the actors are very talented and personable. It was a great evening of Christmas favorites, inspiration, patriotism, comedy and clean family fun. Looking forward to visiting again soon!!

My best friend and I are children of the 70s/80s and this show was one fantastic sing along!

The atmosphere is comfortably humble, but the talent is stellar!!! The band was top notch and the singers were excellent (and silly)!

We knew every song of the Musical Legends review, and it was pure fun to sing along with the performers and the audience!

The ticket prices are reasonable and we would highly recommend this experience!! If you’re a music fan, don’t miss this!!

We initially went due to a family member being part of the show. However the entire show was great. Very family friendly entertainment.

This was a fantastic show! We weren’t sure what to expect from a production based in a small WV town. However we were blown away by the talent exhibited during this show. This is Las Vegas/Branson quality entertainment. We’ll definitely go back and take in another show. Very talented performers and musicians!

I can't say enough about the Gandy Dance Theater. It was such a trip down memory lane. I was especially impressed that they honored Veterans, and also were not afraid to thank our God for all the beauty and love in this world. Keep up the GREAT work.

The high energy of the show was fantastic. Definitely a great way to spend the evening in Elkins! The members of the cast engaged with the audience and made the experience very memorable.

A visit to this venue was a pleasant surprise. Although my visit was part of a prepaid bus trip and therefore had no knowledge of the actual cost it was a five star performance. These performers are star quality and should be playing larger national venues. My only negative comment was the quality of the food.

Close to home, clean and wholesome family entertainment. Well worth the money. Food was great and the service was excellent. We return again.

The food was OK but the show was outstanding! We saw the premier show and loved the variety of music (across the ages, patriotic, and gospel). The dancers were entertaining and loved all of the personalities represented by the singers/band members! This is a must see.... You won't be disappointed!

The variety of music and talent was superb. The entertainers keep us involved and entertained.Our waitress was super friendly and consistently revisited our tables to see if anything we needed. Our dinners were served efficiently and very tasty for sure.
Gandy Dancers is a must go to when visiting Elkins
or if you live locally must see as other shows. Really some great ones coming up .Wish we lived closer.
