Sky Bridge did not disappoint.

By Steve V |

Had to mark this one off the bucket list. Sky Bridge was amazing. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. I had my mother with me who is 75 yrs old so getting on and off of the skylift was a bit slower than normal. They stopped it for her, helped her on and off. The only problem was at the top, you have to walk up a steps to make it to the Sky Bridge. My mom decided it was too much for her so she sat in the chairs while I crossed the bridge. I think next time she will take her time and head up slowly, taking breaks to the top. The views from the top are amazing. You can see all of Gatlinburg from the top.

Great Mountain View’s

By tpinnell62 |

Three of us very comfortably fit in the sky lift chair and the ride both ways was pleasant. They sell food and beverage at the top the prices are a bit steep - take your own snack if you’re watching your money - my husband paid five or six dollars for an ice cream sandwich. Water or soft drinks are five dollars each. We carried our own water bottles up they didn’t mind. They also sell some souvenirs. Walking across the sky bridge was fun. There are several games of cornhole and some picture spots. Live music was scheduled 6-9pm. We bought the digital picture of us on the sky lift $17 includes tax. We did not try Anakeesta for comparison….next time

Great but...

By Kayla B |

The Views are great!! It was well worth it. However a lot of scamming people. Pay $2 for photo which we thought was to get the picture for us on the lift it was not. Then they charge you another $20 dollar for that photo. Then want to sell you the prints for the photos you paid $2 per ticket for. The view is great but def trying to screw people over on the pictures and not being clear

Recommend this trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee.

By Amie R |

Everything was amazing! Beautiful, friendly people and clean. Loved walking the bridge and the lift was fun.

Worth a visit!

By KSMax |

Our family had a blast visiting the Skylift Park! Coming from Florida, we were in awe of the views we were able to experience not only on the lifts, but also on the bridge. The bridge was amazing. I don’t know how you can views like that any other way. We easily spent about an hour and half between the lift, the bridge, the trail, and the gift shop. We only did a small portion of the trail, so if you’re up for more, there is plenty to do. We enjoyed the cute photo op areas too. We didn’t purchase anything from there, but there is a restaurant as well at the top. We were impressed and will definitely be back. Everyone was friendly and helpful too!

A Fun Place to Visit

By Lowell B |

We always take the lift up to the Sky Bridge area when we are in Gatlinburg on our annual trip. The bridge is pretty unique, and we like to garb some refreshments and enjoy some time watching people on the bridge and the trail down.

Not worth it.

By blynn05 |

Tourist ripoff. The views are amazing and the skybridge is a cool concept but it’s not worth $$$. There are far better places to get those views without that.

Wonderful time

By Compass09956244906 |

We recently visited the Ski Lift in Gatlinburg and had a great evening, with an added value thanks to their employee, Shannon. We asked him how long the bridge was and as a long- time resident of the area. he provided us the information as well as the history of the mountain and the surrounding area. He also encouraged us to do a little shopping while waiting for the sun to go done, so that we could enjoy the ride down and witness the beauty of the night sky and city lights. Thanks. Shannon.
PS they will not ask if you are a senior, but note they do offer a five-dollar discount.

Very worthwhile

By Jill T |

Totally worthwhile experience! Really enjoyed the ride to the top, sat in the beautiful chairs admiring the beautiful mountains with a beer, then we did the sky walk across and back. We think it was worth $40

Exciting but expensive

By kep6962Ohio |

This was a fun excursion but very expensive. $78 for 2 people. You basically go up a mountain on a ski lift to the top. There are a couple of bridges to walk across. The bigger one has glass panels to see below. The shorter smaller one is much more difficult to walk across as it’s not as ridged. There is a snack bar and some chairs to sit and look out over the city of Gatlinburg.

Worth the wait

By Travelling To's |

Went on a Saturday afternoon, line at the park ticket window is long but not slow. Bought the Unlimited visit ticket at $34.95 per adult plus tax. Its worth it if you plan to visit in the afternoon and later in the evening which we did. Single visit ticket was $32.95 so getting the unlimited ticket was wort it for us for an additional
$2. For visitors planning to park their cars, there are street parking and it is free but very difficult and time consuming. There are parking lots that charges between $15-20 Flat Rate. Bring a sweater/coat when visiting in the evening. It was quite cold in the evening. Photos are pricey a 4x6 cost $14, there are packages too that cost $20 and up. Its a good way to enjoy the view, nature and the beauty of the city of Gatlinburg.
Not to forget friendly staff, from the ticket receptionist to the line monitor and chairlift staff. Good fun wit family and friends.

Great ride, great view!

By Hoosier Eagle |

the view alone is worth the price - and today the price gets unlimited trips until closing time! the sky bridge and trail are cool too. i had a cold beer before i came back down…neat experience!

Incredible view but overall disappointing

By melissa c |

The view from the skywalk were incredible and tulip tower was fun for the family. There were several areas under repair and construction. For the amount of money, we expected way more.

What a great view.

By traveleroIndiana |

The views were amazing. Park in general is very small. In my opinion definitely not worth the $30 pp. (in my case $36. $4 per fees if you buy them before online and I had to pay $2 more per ticket because I messed up the date ). They had vents and they help a lot because it was a hot day. We toured in less than an hour.

Cool, kinda pricy.

By Mr. Eats out too much |

Very cool experience, you ride up the chair lift to the top of the mountain! Just about straight up amongst the trees. When you arrive at the top there is a neat gift shop, snack bar, and look out area. You can walk up the stairs to the “skybridge” which is the tallest suspension bridge in the US. It even has a glass section near the middle that gives you a view straight down in the canyon!! Once you get to the other side there is more observation area, and a Path around the rim of the gorge. If you don’t wanna take the bridge back again. It is a little pricy, and I don’t believe they allow wheelchairs or anything. so this isn’t much exciting if you are limited Mobility.

SkyLift Gatlinburg

By Brandon J |

It was an amazing experience for an Ohio family looking for something fresh and new and couldn’t of been happier !! Definitely an experience we’ll never forget !!

Worth the trip up the mountain and cross the bridge

By Marc L |

One of the rides that is worth heading up the mountain and crossing wire suspension bridge. Portion of the bridge has glass floor. Wonderful view from the top of the mountain.

The Best Skylift and Sky Lift in Gatlinburg!

By Leah Beery |

The Skylift and Skybridge are amazing! They never get old or tiring! The best part is they are continuing to build on and get more things to add to the top of the mountain! This is a must-do and see in Gatlinburg! We come and do it every time we visit. It is our favorite! We have only done this during the day or early evening in the summer, but this was our first time doing it at night during Christmas, and it was a fantastic experience!

Loved the Ski lift experience!

By David W |

The ski lift and suspension bridge were awesome! Although I did have a slight apprehension when I saw the bridge sway back and forth while alot of people walked across it. We got across the first time and when we came back across it was easier. I guess I conquered my fears. I would recommend the ski lift and the suspension bridge to anyone! The gift shop had alot of souvenirs to choose from. Also buy the photo they take of you on the lift, it's worth it. Bathrooms and the whole establishment were neat and clean and tidy. We would definitely do this again!

Horrible crowded conditions everywhere and for everything

By Ken K |

Having been here before I knew Gatlinburg was the epitome of a tourist trap, though you go with the flow and can have a good time. Not this time. I have never seen a place so over run and crowded like it is here, and in Pigeon Forge, this week. It has been so horrendously bad, you literally are unable to do anything due to the hordes of people. There was not a single thing we could do, unless we were willing to sit in gridlock traffic, and then wait for hours in lines for everything. It is horrible. I will never return.

A Beautiful Experience

By ecupirates96 |

I always enjoy the ride up and down so I can enjoy the beauty of the mountains and see Gatlinburg from a different angle. I think it is a bit pricy but I had a great time. I enjoyed walking the new trail as it helped give me a different view of the place. The one complaint I have is there is no place for people to smoke I would have stayed up there longer, after paying the price I did, but there was nowhere to smoke. They have people up there correcting different issues they see so they could have a smoking section and monitor it as well.

Great Adventure

By Timothy D |

Great adventure in Gatlinburg, the Skylift to the top was smooth and enjoyable. Had a great time walking across the bridge. The glass part was easy.

Too expensive

By Andy P |

Honestly this would get a higher rating if they hadn't raised the price so much. I did this 3 years ago, unlimited rides for $14. 2 years ago I rode it again and it was $40 for one trip. Rode today because the person I was with wanted to otherwise I would have skipped it. It's nice to ride up the mountain and the views are fantastic. The suspension bridge is nice but a bit scary. But there is not a lot to do once you are up to justify the cost.

A beautiful experience

By Jayme L |

I would recommend you buy your tickets online & two days early, they're cheaper! You will beat the lines too. The bridge is very cool and delivers you into a small trail or you can return back over the bridge. Your ticket is good for the full day so you can go up and down as often as you'd like. We went up in the day and again at dusk to see the sunset which was beautiful. There was someone playing the guitar on the patio and people were sitting outside looking at the view and listening to music, which was nice.

Take the chairlift up and walk back

By Lesley |

A chairlift takes you away from the smell of fries and the noise of Gatlinburg theme park ! Chairlift not for the faint hearted . Once at the top good views of the mountains (better and more authentic elsewhere). Chairs to sit and relax. A walk along the skywalk if you are nervous don’t look down. Instead of coming back via the chairlift we walked the blue and yellow trail, roughly 45 mins much nicer. Can be sketchy in places I would wear sturdy shoes, not flip flop territory. The planting is good and area clean

Bucket List Fun

By Gillian S |

This was a bucket list type of fun. Walking across in the middle is a clear plastic walk way. If you are brave or even scared like me it’s a fun adventure. All ages walked across. Some people would get to the clear plastic part and turn around. Don’t!!! It’s amazing and fun. Be brave take lots of pictures. The view is breathtaking.

Beautiful experience

By XandTim |

Beautiful Views when you get to the bridge ! Amazing how you can see where some of the trees from the fire are still visible - rode the sky lift in the morning and evening and both great experience- walking bridge is awesome and only shakes a bit !

Pricey, but worth a trip up!

By Sue |

It was nerve wrecking using the lift up and down, but once you saw the view, it was worth it. I absolutely love it and can't wait for them to finish building more for up there!

Great Experience

By Amanda W |

Loved the sky park!! Highlight of the trip, seeing the view was amazing. The bridge was super fun and the small trail was a nice easy hike! Highly recommend! :)

Loved It,

By leah c |

We paid for the all day pass- it is beautifully done- there are lots of places to sit and relax and just take in the beautiful scenery- we loved the big open spaces- the sky bridge was fun even though I am terrified of heights- on the other side is a small burger spot with lots of places to take pics and just sit and enjoy- Very clean and nice!

Skybridge over Gaitlinburg

By F Seneca |

Spent the holiday weekend in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. It was super busy and I wanted to walk across the bridge. Recommend getting the tickets online. We were able to get right in line instead of waiting to buy a ticket first. I don't believe many didn't know that was an option. The ride up the ski lift was great. The view was spectacular. The only disappointment was that the flag hanging on the bridge covered the glass bottom.

Under construction visit

By Ed M |

Bought a day pass for 2 seniors and 2 adults $212. Seemed reasonable until we got on top and realized the trail was closed for over half its length. No discount, no verbal warning but upon leaving we did see route map with red shoeing closed.
Views were good, site kept spotless, plenty of personnel keeping you moving and informed. Lift smooth, chairs and benches comfortable. Food and drink a bit steep and pictures must have great margin’s since plenty of cameras and hawkers.
When fully open and construction done, most likely a good value.

Nice view but expensive

By Veronica |

Very pricey, considering the only impressive thing was the bridge, which had nice views (but again, very pricey since the same views can be seen from other much cheaper and great locations). The only way to go to the top is with the open chair gondola. Would not visit again, but was a nice one time experience. We went on a Friday, apron 3pm and spent like an hour, since there is not much to do. If you have the time and money then go. But if you are short on time, or are unsure then I suggest searching for other places with the same amazing views.

Worth Doing at Least Once

By Melissa Tee in DC |

Loved it, but too scared to do it a second time. The views were excellent and the staff loading everyone on and off the carts were all awesome. The people lining you up for and selling the photos, not so awesome.

Glad we went!

By SandyCed |

What a great experience this was! We are so glad that we made the trip and although it was cold, it was worth it! The line was long but went fast and people were so nice. Highly recommend the experience.

Average

By Randy |

I am sure this place is a lot nicer in summer time and fall. The mountains were bare and not a lot to look at.

A Must Do!

By Crystal B |

One of the highlights of our trip! We loved everything from the views to the excitement of the glass part of the bridge! It started raining when we got to the top and as soon as they started the lifts back up, everyone got in line to go back down, we stayed up top and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Don’t let the rain scare you, typically it passes quickly! Will definitely go again if we’re ever back in the area!

Amazing pet friendly views of the Smokey Mountains

By Iamalittleklutzy |

Such a beautiful place & great experience with my weenie dog, Jeanie :)
She loved it from start to finish and the staff were so helpful and paid her so much attention. Def would reconsider if your pup is a wiggle worm, because they are not harnessed in the lift, but if your dog is good just sitting on your lap or next to you on the chair, It’s such an awesome experience.

Magnificent views

By Maryliz1118 |

We have been several times over the years. We love the new additions to the park. The bridge alone is worth the trip, but there is so much more to see and do. We found out this trip that it's pet friendly, what a great way to enjoy with your furry kid.

Beautiful day to see the sights

By emma |

We were downtown riding the moonshine sled and decided to take a walk and do this on the same day! What a beautiful trip up and the people were friendly! It was cool to see dogs going up with their families! This is a must do

Amazing bridge

By Anjanette Vazquez |

This was by far one of the most breathtaking use. everyone that we came in contact that worked there was great and nice walking. The bridge was exciting and scaring we took the ski lift up and then we hide about a 2 mile hike down. You could take the ski lift back down but we chose to hike it. It was great and beautiful

Good fun for everyone in your party.

By Jason S |

At first the line in front gave us pause. But it moved very quickly. Staff were very nice and helpful. The people loading and unloading the chairs are really great. Understanding of all levels of comfort.
The ride up is loads of fun. At times seems very steep but we felt safe the whole time.
The lodge at the top provides refreshment and all the tourist swag you can imagine.
The bridge is loads of fun. The clear panels in the middle were a surprise. It was fun to look down. Also fun to watch others as they approach and how they process the clear panels.
Lots of places to sit at the top. It was a hot one today so having all the fans around was nice. Even a fan that sprayed cold water out was available.
Great views from the top.
This is worth your time. Family friendly.

Beautiful View of Gatlinburg

By Jessica P |

Beautiful views.. a little overpriced but well maintained and the lights at night are an added bonus.

Okay I suppose

By JLM |

I've been here twice. It is a bit expensive for the experience. I only came here again because I brought my son and his girlfriend along. We did get a discount for the construction that is going on. The view is great but the price for what you get is overrated.

Ew

By Freya123456 |

If you enjoy hiking in the mountains and experiencing natural beauty with breathtaking overviews; this is NOT the attraction for you. The park is kinda gross and every bit of view is marred with crowds and cars and trash. That being said Gatlinburg has never pretended to be anything but the nasty tourist trap that it is. We probably should have expected the overpriced attrations and food, but it was grosser than I anticipated. This poor review is only for people like us who enjoy peaceful hikes and camping; every else will probably love this eyesore.

Disappointed. Not worth it.

By Judy O |

Disappointing experience. Price tag is salty for what you get. Views are not great. Also, there’s just a small gift shop and snack place. We won’t be doing this again.

Fun little experience

By Chris R. |

In a city full of tourist traps this one was well worth it. The views are beautiful. Walking over the bridge was surprisingly thrilling. I usually have no problem with heights but I found my heart racing when I made it to the halfway point.

Stunning views…for a price

By BeautifulWorld479 |

This was a fun activity with spectacular views of Gatlinburg and the surrounding mountains. The Skybridge (once you’re up the mountain) offers even more incredible and unobstructed views! The only reasons we aren’t 5-stars are the cost and the staff at the top of the lift when we rode. Specifically, one of the men yelled at my husband, then loudly complained to a colleague who responded “just 1 more hour, my friend) as we walked by her. Also, be prepared for an immediate attempt to sell you a photo as you exit the lift (felt a bit like cattle herded for auction). Other than those distractions, we enjoyed this experience very much.

Amazing view!

By Tiffanyjim |

This was a great experience! We had so much fun! You park at the bottom in Gatlinburg and take the lift up. Nice places to relax and enjoy the views and a nice fire pit to gather around. A nice gift shop to check out and then of course the Sky Bridge with incredible views! We spent a couple hours walking around and enjoying ourselves. Have to do this once in Gatlinburg!

Awesome views from chairlift

By Sandy D |

Enjoyed chair lift ride. Unable to do walking trails due to our age. Fun to walk on suspended bridges.
Would like to suggest they charge a lesser price for chair lift only.
Price was a little high.

First Gatlinburg Trip

By Elisha M |

The bridge and the beautiful sights. This was our first trip to Gatlinburg, and it was incredibly memorable. Shannon was wonderful and very kind, very informative about surrounding areas

Amazing views!!!

By Adam C |

Well worth the entry fee for the stunning views that this park has. A very scenic ride to the top and the suspended bridge are both excellent. It was our first time in Gatlinburg and we were so pleased that we went. Only downside, they take pictures when you arrive and then when you’re on the ski lift. They then try to sell them to you at every opportunity, however, they weren’t pushy and a polite no thank you sufficed.

Reach for the Sky!

By andream0626 |

A must do while in Gatlinburg.
The history of this attraction is long standing and they keep on growing.
Gorgeous sitting areas, corn hole games & breathtaking views are some of the features of the Sky Bridge.
Walking across the bridge could make your tummy feel funny but well worth it.
Drinks, Snacks & merch readily available.

They closed for weather and refused to give us a refund

By LaurelHappyone |

We tried over 5 times to get a refund to no avail. THEY closed for weather, totally understandable, but we should get our money back and they simply refused.

Shut down on day it was advertised to be open

By Crystal N |

2nd time trying to visit Skylift Park and it was a no go again. We purchased Skypass tickets well in advance and when we arrived to the park, they were closed for the day. First time we came, the line was a mile long to wait for tickets. Purchased in advance this time to avoid the wait and park closed down. I did emailed their office and they have indicated they processed a refund but still haven't received it yet.

Really Enjoyable - You Won’t Be Disappointed!

By Boatwhisperer |

This was a very enjoyable experience! It was a beautiful, clear October day, just before it got really busy (pre-noon). The chair lift was great with a chance to take in the beauty of the surroundings, and the Sky Bridge was fun, not at all scary. The middle glass floor of it is quite a weird sensation bit not scary to us. The bridge feels like being on a big boat, not too much movement. After our bridge trek, we enjoyed a beer with a beautiful view from the outside deck. They offer some concessions in the gift shop as well. We opted to purchase the photos taken at the entry point - they have some beautiful backdrop options to choose from (you have to walk the bridge to the other side to purchase). We HIGHLY recommend you include this while taking in Gatlinburg!

Overpriced but Beautiful Views

By Natalie D |

Price (for everything): $44/person
Sky bridge: 9/10
Tower: 5/10
Trail: 5/10
Chair lift: 10/10
There’s a small eating area upstairs, as well as places for pictures and a gift shop.

Overpriced

By DeAnna B |

Overpriced for what there was to do. There is a tower and the bridge and any free hike has a better view. I expected a better view and experience for the 75$ we paid for two people in the off season. We also had stale pretzel.

Great view and easy to do

By Carol |

Lots of places to relax and enjoy the view or a drink! The walk across bridge wasn’t as scary as I thought it be, to my relief! Photo ops galore!

Awesome!!

By Anne C |

Shannon at the Skye Bridge was AWESOME!!! He had some of the best jokes - I was crying laughing. And, gave some great points of interest along with some good stories. An all-around brilliant time! N

EXPENSIVE bucket list Gatlinburg experience

By KindredSpirit07 |

$84 for 2 people. Ouch. You can save a few bucks booking days in advance but it’s still overpriced. I don’t regret going though. The ride up was beautiful. The whole top part is new and clean and inviting. The bridge was one of a kind. The trails were closed but we wouldn’t have done them anyway. Really nice place but bring your big wallet!

No fear of heights!

By lemonlime78 |

This was a very cool way to spend a morning. Loved the view on the rides up and down the mountain, and the sky bridge was great, especially the see-through part in the middle! Definitely recommend!

Overrated

By Zan H |

Overrated, it is a short walk to the mountain, it has a beautiful view of the town and the mountains, it only has a large bridge with a glass part to look at the bottom, there is really not much to do for the price.
The good: the viewpoint
The bad: The price
Recommendations: Be prepared to have a drink and take the time to relax and enjoy the beautiful view

Purchased tickets ahead and got charged more at the gate!

By nay_hartman |

While planning our honeymoon, we purchased tickets on July 4, 2022 for the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park. The email stated “Ticketholders have 365 days from the original purchase date to redeem their tickets.  Once redeemed, tickets will be valid until closing time that same evening.”

Today we went to the SkyLift Park, and as the email stated, we joined the ticket-purchasing line. After waiting a short time, an employee helped us and informed us that we could proceed to the employee at the white tent. We waited in line again and once we reached the employee, he scanned the tickets and told us they came up as expired and that we would have to go back to the ticket-purchasing line. So we went back to the ticket-purchasing line. They informed us of a recent system change, told us they would return our tickets and then resell the tickets so that they would work with the new system.

By now we were already frustrated and upset that our online purchase (which should have made the process quicker) was actually making it much more aggravating! So the employee refunded the original tickets and then told us we had to pay for the new tickets! As I was paying, I noticed the price was increased! Literally adding insult to injury. Additionally, the employee did not inform us of the price increase at all!

We are trying to enjoy our honeymoon by planning ahead, but to be sent back and forth THREE times, AND charged MORE for our tickets is insulting!!! It really has been one of the most frustrating parts of our honeymoon (and we slept in a leaking tent in a lightning storm.)

Wheeeeeee

By Karyn C |

Super fun!!
First time with my spouse (cuz I was scared)
Second time.. in the evening cuz there were lights lol
Again I say, super fun!!

Loved the view!

By Eugene K |

Gives you a beautiful view of Gatlinburg (day and night), and you can make more than one trip with entrance fee. (Hint, if you park one block off the Main Street, it’s $15 instead of $20)

Sky Park first visit

By Darryl H |

We went to Sky Park on August 12th 2025.
The staff are friendly and help you on and off of lift chairs.
We thought the views were amazing from the top of park. And the Sky Bridge was cool with the glass bottom halfway across. We did get some amazing pics
They took pics of you twice and if I had been given this info up front we probably would’ve bought them, but I wasn’t smiling lol
The gift shop is really nice but pricy, but I still bought stuff 😊

Fun and easy

By James B |

It was slow and nice ride. We really liked it. Great for relaxing between activities. Get the all day ticket for $2 more- worth it.

Wonderful view

By Dana C |

This was great!!! I’m scared of heights and do not like ski lifts however I did both!! The ski lift was not as bad as I thought it would be. It was nice a slow and no jerky movements, the people at the bottom and top were very helpful with telling you how to get on and off. The sky bridge itself wasn’t scary at all I thought I would be scared to look down but I felt really safe and not worried. I bought the picture package which was expensive but not super expensive it was worth it they are super fun!!

Thank you Antonio!

By Sarah Mitchell |

The experience was great! The Bridge was beautiful and so was the trail! My boyfriend and I got on the lift to go back down and dropped a bag. We got to the bottom and asked if someone could get it or if we could get a copy of the pictures we bought and luckily Antonio was able to get our pictures so thank you so much Antonio!! So thankful you did that and were able to get them!!

Overpiced

By Brandi B |

It was way overpriced. They let too many people up at once so you don't get to really enjoy the experience or take nice pictures because there are so many people around. It was nice but def only worth going one time.

Beautiful

By Roberson |

I am scared of heights but tried this today. I made it to the top and crossed the bridge. The attendant in #5 both was not friendly when we purchased our tickets but everyone else was great. We really enjoyed this facility. Thank you.

Its okay,

By Wendy Welborn |

I enjoyed the chairlift and the view from the skybridge is pretty, however, it was a little over priced for what it is.

Great views and fun experience

By Rachel M |

Really wanted to try this with our small dog but decided not to after seeing the chairlift. She would have been too scared. So we went without her and it was fun! The chairlift ride was fine, we ski so it was nothing exceptional for us. The attendants were all friendly and helpful. The sky bridge was definitely worth the price. It’s a little scary to cross, but was very cool. The deck at the other end to hang out at was gorgeous. Our main complaint was that we could not get beer to enjoy because they had a lack of staff. There was a line of people waiting, but no one to serve. But there was plenty of staff there trying to sell us pictures which was annoying. We kept thinking it would be great if one of them could get us our beer.🤣. We ended up buying cans from the little lemonade stand (cash only) and it was enjoyable to drink a cold one with such a gorgeous view.

Spectacular views and experience

By lawtonjl2002 |

Not a fan of heights but so enjoyed the experience. If your not into going across the bridge there is a trail that goes around. I did both since one time across was enough!

Worth your time

By Jennifer T |

The views, the bears playing in the tree line with not a care in the world. The small breeze.. just some of the small things you’ll notice here. The employees are great and give amazing instructions to someone who is extremely scared. The photo booth kids are probably the worst part of the whole thing. Make you feel like a nuisance but again a small part. The gift shop offers a lot to everyone with decent prices. Bucket list place for sure!!

It was ok

By kaylynicole1221 |

It was pretty. Great for photos. I think it was a little too expensive for what it was. My fiancée and I paid about $80. I did enjoy it, but I don’t think I would go back.

So much fun!!!

By Cindy19722016 |

This was great!!! No lines. Gorgeous views. The bridge was awesome!!! We would go back again. East for kids and adults which is very nice. Loved it!

Different, but expensive even for tourist spot

By SeniorTravelerTF |

The Skylift Park is a different experience, a given, but you pay for it. You ride their chairlift - which is repeated at several other locations in town, up to a "park". Nothing new here. But at the top the difference occurs. The park includes a long wooden trail along the edge of the gap in the mountain (neat), with a suspended walkway in the middle that leads to a metal tower memorializing a recent fire (Also neat). The crown of the "park" is a suspended bridge over the gap (unique). The obligatory gift shop and fountain with seating is at the top too (not so neat). It is a pretty view overlooking town and the valley So if you linger and take advantage of all the options (chair, ridge, walkway, bridge, view) you can try to get your money's worth. At least it beats walking the crowded streets below.

Christmas Beauty Must Stop

By Mandee F |

As always the views are priceless! We absolutely love the sky bridge & even better in the winter for Christmas lovers like me. Amazing photo opportunities. Sadly half the bridge lights were out but we still enjoyed the adventure. Bridge does get slippery when wet so warning to future sky bridge travelers.

Simply Amazing

By Kenny T |

So proud of this awesome family for over coming tragedy of the fire that destroyed so much but they persevered and came out on top and built back even more amazing after the fire.

I conquered Gatlinburg's Skylift on New Year's Day 2023.

It was a fun New Year (January 1, 2023) ride on the yellow chairlift going up the mountain. The staff were friendly and made sure that we were safe riding and getting off the chairlift. We went a bit earlier at 11.00am so the lines to the ticket counter were shorter but around 2.00pm it had a long cue. My suggestion is if you want to visit the park, come in a little bit earlier say before noon so it will not be so crowded. My overall experience was great and one that I will remember, will surely visit again.

Out of the ashes...

By Betsy T |

It broke my heart when the original mountaintop concession stand was destroyed by the 2016 wildfires. They have, however, rebuilt it to a more modern facility both at the top of the mountain and at the bottom. While it is now a little pricey to go on it; it's not Gatlinburg to me without the SkyLift. The SkyBridge is also a nice addition.

Great employee

By Diane P |

Besides the incredible views and the fun of the going up on the sky lift and the stores I did not do the bridge because I am afraid of those kind of fights but you have a group of wonderful people working for you and my name is Sean is a specially patient always had a smile on his face trying to keep the groups and the lines happy down by the tickets he he really deserves a special shout out thanks Sean you made my day

Amazing! Must visit again

By Mylisha W |

This was an awesome experience, I went with my bf for his birthday and we enjoyed it! It was very peaceful and relaxing! The staff was very nice & the scenery was absolutely stunning! This was first of our many to come couple’s vacation and I’m glad to say we started here!

Views and lights

By Debbie H |

Beautiful views, wonderful gathering places. Paid extra to go back for Christmas lights. Over half of the few lights on the bridge were missing it not burning. Only the area around the lift area was decorated well. Not up to par with what has been there before.

Fast service with the SkyPass

By Sarah B |

We truly enjoyed the experience with SkyPass versus the online purchase of tickets for Anakeesta. SkyPass allowed us to enter the line ahead of most of the other people with regular passes and have unlimited access. The Christmas lights being up made it all the more wonderful for us and we would definitely go back.

Great experience but a once & done for us.

By Christina C |

The Sky bridge was fun (or so my husband said). I was too afraid to walk it, but he did twice! He said the glass part is very scary but an exciting experience. We walked out to the tower & he went on the swinging bridges. Another thing I chose to skip! I did however enjoy the firepit & rocking chairs. It was a nice addition on a chilly day! The also had a lot of photo ops to enjoy & the views from the top were amazing! They had corn hole boards out to play with & there were a lot of chairs sitting out to relax in. The chair lift was very smooth & we felt safe. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful! The only thing I would change is to make the price we paid for one ride up as an unlimited ride all day. The cost for the unlimited rides were way over priced, so we paid for one ride up only since it was our first time going up. Now that we have been once, we probably won't go back up. It's sort of like once you've seen it there's not really a reason to go back, unless they add on to it with more to do. We did not visit bathrooms or the gift shops at the top, so I can't review those. However, the gift shop at the bottom was very reasonably priced & my husband earned the "I walked the bridge" shirt!

Overpriced

By Christina W |

We love the lift and the views from it. But the price even for those who are local, is way to high. You can drive to Ober Gatlinburg and ride a smaller lift for way less than one person could ride the main one.

A defiinite "must do" while in Gatlinburg!

By David from Cincinnati |

The SkyLift Park is a wonderful experience which I highly recommend while in Gatlinburg. It was destroyed by the fires in Nov/Dec 2016 and they rebuilt better than ever. The 3-wide seat lift is comfortable. It has a lot of helpful history on the fire and rebuilding along the path at the top. The crowning feature is the longest steel cable bridge in the US with a wonderful view of the Smokies and Gatlinburg. Really impressive.

A let down for the price increase

By Time Saver |

The price for one time was $32 a person. The glass on the sky bridge was covered with a black Matt. When you get off you have a guy screaming like you must go check your pictures. There is one single open bathroom up on the whole area. A big disappointment from two years ago when the charge was less.

Fun times, good views

By 2rollon |

Friend and I got our tickets after 8pm to ride up in the evening, by doing so you can ride up the next day again. We enjoy the views at night. We walked over the suspension bridge, Admired the views and then walk back over bridge again. Rode up again the next morning before it got to hot. Walked across the bridge and then walked the trail to the Tulip tower and back to gift shop. Got ourselves a snack an sat a spell before riding the lift down.

A perfect way to see the area

By Debbie D |

This is a must do for me each trip. The view is breathtaking and so relaxing. Walk around or just soak in the views from a rocking chair.

Stellar Views in Gatlinburg!

By Christmas24-7 |

Fantastic views! Great experience walking across the Sky Bridge and up the Tower. Saw a black bear while riding the sky lift.

Family activity

By Cougar140 |

Can be pricey for families but recommend it for the view. Pretty neat trip on a Skylift. The food at the top is pricey. One and done activity.

family

By Paige Catchen |

We have done the sky bridge twice and did the tulip tower once and really going inside the shop and looking around and when we get down by the creek we have some one that takes pictures of me and our friend that does that with me and have a good time

Nice, but too overpriced.

By Mark C |

One of the things I look forward to each year is the trip up on the chairlift with my son. We have our picture from each year since was 2 (he's 23 now). But this may be our last time. Basically over $100 for two people when you add in the photo? This used to be a family tradition for so many people, but I fear you are pricing people out of attending. Yes, I realize there are other things that have been added at the top. But it may be cost prohibitive for many at this point.

Must do and see in Gatlinburg

By Vanessa C |

It was a beautiful day to do this, the lines were long and there were people cutting in line, showing no respect for others waiting but after what we had just dealt with down the street this was nothing to compare to. The chair ride up was enjoyable and the sights amazing, the bridge was a once in a lifetime dream come true. The ride back down was also beautiful. We took many pictures and made many memories, the only thing that was not good is that the employees couldn't control how some people were cutting and pushing their way through the lines.

Our 1st trip to the Sky Park in Gatlinburg

By Jason H |

Went to the Sky Park on our trip to Gatlinburg. Decided we were going to try the Sky Bridge. My wife was very apprehensive about doing it, as she’s not comfortable with heights. As she reluctantly began her journey across the bridge, the gentleman that worked there named Shannon, noticed that she was a little leery and jumped right up to talk her through the journey. He was very funny and did a wonderful job talking and taking her mind off of the task at hand. Kudos to that gentleman! We need more people like him.

Oh, and the view from up there was absolutely breathtaking and amazing!

Worth it

By Miamkd |

Amazing views over Gatlinburg and the mountains. I love the idea of the one-time pass and whole day pass. Also the fans with water for refreshing are very helpful. Everything was super smooth.

Great Father and son trip

By Brian S |

The Skybridge is a must do when going to Gatlinburg. Great views, and you can hike around on some trails up there. This was the second time we visited the area, and both times, we had done the Skybridge.

Walking the Suspension bridge

By 1966Airstream |

Enjoyed our visit the the SkyLift Park. The ride to the top on the chair lift was nice and the views at the top were good. It was fun to walk the suspension bridge. They are adding some more features so it will be even more enjoyable.

AN enjoyable trip

By Ken6633 |

Although a little expensive a good experience on the skylift and then the walking bridge. Great views of Gatlinburgh.

Enjoyable

By Tammy O |

It’s kind of expensive, but well worth the view and experience! We didn’t have to wait, wasn’t rushed, & not overly packed with people. If I were to do it again I’d go at sunset/dusk to get a different view of things.

Rest for the weary!

By Michelle |

Excellent!!! Absolutely beautiful views. Fun for nature lovers who have had enough of having to hike up everything else. Ride to the rope and enjoy! The adventure minded can cross the bridge while everyone else has a beer and some snacks.

Costs too much

By Mark B |

Three years prior I ride this lift for I believe $12.00 each. I gig in the line, went pay and they wanted $85.00 for the two of us. Then if you go up you pay extra to do the suspended bridge. I backed off and said no. I seen more than not say no and leave. I observed 95% empty seats going up and coming back down. I thought my gosh if they charged $15.00 each they would make a mint. It all burned down and they replaced it and evidently got greedy to recoup the costs. I know business well. If all those seats were $15.00 they would have everyone riding it. Those empty seats are making nothing. And the word is out how expensive it is. I heard people in the street talking about how no way they will pay that much. What a shame. Greed is not good.

Sunrise in Gatlinburg...

By StangChik72 |

Went to see the sunrise at Skylift Park. Ride up the mountain was a lot of fun and we were given a tasty breakfast including a muffin, yogurt and fruit when we arrived. Only downside was it was a rainy day so not much of a sunrise but, obviously, not their fault. We still had fun walking across the suspension bridge and trail. I would definitely recommend...the views are amazing.

Wow, wow, wow!!

By Penny_is_picky |

We got the wristband ti go all day. We rode the lift 3 times that day, hiked the whole thing one of the visits. The ride up is relaxing. The bridge and views are incredible. Worth the money. Much better experience than Ober.

AMAZING - LOVED IT!!

By Trisha0973 |

The Original is ALWAYS the BEST! This is the SkyLift that has been in Gatlinburg for Decades! AMAZIN

Beautiful Scenery

By PhillyShaney |

This was a cool tourist spot to take a break and check out the views of 'The Smokey Mountains'!

The cost is $37 for a lift ride ride and to walk the bridge (Lil Pricey)! The scenery is spectacular, but if you are afraid of heights..think about it because you are high up there! Haahaa

Halfway point on the bridge is a glass bottom..pretty cool!

I enjoyed this attraction and I think you might too!

Very cool view and experience

By John B |

Our family enjoyed this place. The ride up is vey cool and the walk across the bridge is not something you can appreciate from a picture. It is a great view and one we will remember for a long time.

See Gatlinburg from Above.

It is a Beautiful View Of Down town Gatlinburg. The Fall Colors was Beautiful this Time of the Year.

Lifetime experience with partner ✨️

By Voyage28818582687 |

Excellent place to visit 😀 Excellent location, and the wait time was great. The equipment was very nice, and the people were very friendly and helpful. Great views of all the mountains.

Beautiful view

By moniquetlb |

The view was beautiful, just a pity that part of the site was renovated and therefore not accessible. The walkway wasn't nearly as scary as we thought.

Horrible Management disappointing

By Lesa W |

Paid 40 per person to get all the way to top to eat and have a drink. Stood in line for drinks first for 20 minutes to get to the window to be told the employee behind the counter is closing to take a break. She sent us over to the Smash burger to get them however they would not take our order because they couldn’take any one else’s order for awhile because they are so behind. Horrible management and mismanagement. Would not recommend. Very disappointed

Best Views

By Cici68 |

All of the staff were excellent and helpful. I feel the views there are the best, but was sad to see the fountain was off. I like that the staff monitors the guest behavior and corrects it when needed to keep the park enjoyable for everyone. I feel the best place to enjoy the view is at the top of the gift shop on the balcony and you can enjoy a drink or something to nibble as well.

Skylift View Best

By Marci S |

View is great. The bridge walk is a must do. There is a snack place up top to purchase food and beverages.

Great photo ops and the view of the downtown is wonderful

Very nice scenic ride

By GatorRandy |

This was well organized and enjoyable. Great view of the Great Smoky Mountains and the Tourist trap of Gatlinburg

Just going up the clouds

Awesome experience loved it had the best staff and very professional. Beautiful views of the smokey mountains and all arpund

Recommend but pricey

By Diane B |

My husband and I went on Thursday around 9am in early November. We parked right next to the exit (cost $20) and had no issues getting a spot since we were very early. Paid the $73 for (2) tickets on the Skylift to be able to walk across the skybridge. I think it was pricey but that was cheapest option since we only wanted to go up once. The skylift is quite steep but immediately quiet and a nice ride. The walk across the skybridge was a little disappointing but thrilling at the same time. I think I had believed it was a lot higher than it was but it was still a little unsettling to step on the glass portion. We immediately left the area as our only reason for coming was the Skybridge.

Great View

By Tj T |

This was an awesome adventure for the kids. Nice views. The glass bridge was a little scary and some people were jumping but other than that it is a nice spot to take the family.

Always love the view

By Getaway670173 |

The ride to the top and back down is always a good time. Plenty of time to relax and take a look around. The assistants are great at helping you on and off the lift.

A Must!

By NVanSambeek |

This is a must if not afraid of heights. Buy up to get unlimited rides up the hill! Once up the hill the skywalk is free to use also. Great experience!

Love love love!

By Cari W |

We are eating this park 100 out of 100! Almost anyone would enjoy this experience. My 80 year old mom did great crossing the bridge! It’s clean and safe and you get some amazing views. We did the all day pass for an extra $3 and rode the lift up and down twice. Not crowded, they manage the tourists well. Loved this experience!

Gatlinburg Must Do!

By Cryptic_Tourist |

My family and I loved this experience! We got there right around sunset over Thanksgiving weekend and it was totally packed. Make sure you buy your tickets online and skip that huge line outside. Also just remember that sitting on that chairlift it is cold AF. Once you’re at the top there’s lots of fun and festive photo ops but be prepared to wait in the crowds. The bridge itself is a really cool experience but people stop in front of the entrance and pose for photos and do not care that you’re trying to get by them. The venue should really do something to alleviate this because it’s extremely annoying. The trail back is really fun but just keep in mind it can be pretty dark in the evening. The gift shop has a lot of merch options and lots of food and drinks are available for purchase.

Okay

By Ashley T |

It was a beautiful site, but way too many people. Constantly felt overwhelmed with the amount of people running around.

Fun trip to the top

By OzziePie |

Fun way to look down on everything in Gatlinburg. Beautiful flowers, walkway and overlook. Rocking chairs to relax in at the top are great.

Worth doing

By Travel746234 |

This was an awesome experience worth doing. The views from the top are amazing. We went in the morning around 9:30am which seemed to be a good time to go, as there were not a lot of people there. I do have a fear of heights, but I did OK with it.
The only thing I felt terrified and thrilled at the same time about was the middle of skybridge where there are 3 glass panels that lets you see straight down under the bridge. The staff helping people on and off the lift were great. Definitely a must do, when you are in Gatlinburg.

A great view

By Sandra E |

We really enjoyed the lift up the mountain and the suspension bridge. The view is lovely from the top. The whole ride is run beautifully. The helpers were friendly and everything was nice and clean. Good for all ages.

You need to visit this place yes or yes lol

By Alberto Peroza |

During our visit, this place was one of the most important, because it’s natural, it’s beautiful and nice, keep hydrated, wear confortable shoes and you got it 👍🏻

Chad - best customer service staff!

By J B |

This place is beautiful but I wantes to highlight the less reviewed part of this place. I want to give a big commendation to one of their staff, Chad. He greeted us with such a warm smile on a cold morning, Oct. 11th. We had questions about what Sky Park was all about before getting on the lift and he was so patient and full of great info. Chad deserves a raise for offering above and beyond customer service to visitors of SkyPark.

Gatlinburg Sky Bridge. Beautiful fall views of the area

By JayMaher |

Visited this attraction while in Gatlinburg at the end of October 2023. The change of leaves were in full display. Absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding Gatlinburg. We even had the opportunity to observe a fairly large bear wandering around a property just below the observation deck. The bridge itself with the see through deck is definitely a must see. Lots of fun.

Sky Park Rip Off Policy

By Brian L |

My wife and I were in line at the sky park ride we received our tickets at 90+ dollars within 30 seconds. They told us the ride was closed due to inclement weather. We tried for three days to get on the ride and they kept canceling because of weather conditions. They would not refund us any of our money a horrible policy we live in Rhode Island and lost 90+ dollars. Ask about weather conditions before you purchase tickets. I am pissed off!

Lift your experience of Gatlinburg

By Chris W |

This was worth the lift up to the observation. Walk the bridge, the back path.. the views are all photo worth it… It’s almost $40.00 per person… not cheap for a single up and down trip. All in all… was some great views

Over priced

By Christina B |

The views are nice. The chairlift ride is quick overall. Staff was friendly. The sky bridge was neat. Tulip tower is sort of blah. The path around the entire area is not completely paved, but well lit at night. Gift shop was ok. Wish it had a larger selection of shirts. We had a beer on the second floor and enjoyed the balcony seating in the evening. But it got crowded quick.

Over all it was a bit pricey for what was received. We felt we had to ride the chairlift many times throughout the day just to get our moneys worth. So we rode it up, circled around to the other side and got back on to go down a few times! The all day ticket is only $2 more currently. There needs to be more stuff to do on top of the hill for the cost.

Beautiful

By EES6864 |

So Beautiful view Were amazing! A must do if your in Gatlinburg, Bridge is scary but fun! The night time is the prettiest!

Very Pricey, but Cool Views

By kayla31095 |

I’ll start by saying that this is your typical tourist trap. The price is very high in my opinion and there is no shortage of attempts at cash grabbing along the way. Once you get past the initial sticker shock, you get corralled over to a camera guy to take some pictures. Then you’re straight to the lift. The lift was my favorite part of the experience even though I’m not fond of heights. Once you get to the top, there’s a shop with a snack counter and a really grimy bathroom. You’d think as much as you’re paying for admission they could at least hire people to do a better job cleaning. Then there’s more opportunities to buy pictures, also expensive. They’ve got a nice area to sit with a fire pit in the middle just before you cross the bridge. The bridge itself offers great views of Gatlinburg but I’m sure it gets busy during the warmer months. Once on the other side of the bridge, there’s a place to get drinks and buy more photos. It’s gimmicky for sure but the views of Gatlinburg at night were stupendous.

Great ace for the family.

By Andy Grigg |

Great service and attractions. Really cool walking on North America's longest pedestrian bridge. View is spectacular. Go early and beat the crowds.

Our trip to Skylift Park

By Tia M |

Shannon was AWESOME! Very helpful and knows a LOT about Gatlinburg's history which was extremely interesting to listen to. And he helped us to basically plan an itinerary for our last day tomorrow! Very impressed!

⭐️⭐️⭐️Gatlinburg Getaway: Not Quite the Hallmark Movie Setting - 3.5 Stars

Dreaming of a cozy, Hallmark-style Christmas in Gatlinburg? Keep dreaming. This place is more Vegas Strip meets Niagara Falls, with a side of Minnesota State Fair crowds. If you're looking for quaint mountain charm, you might want to adjust your expectations.

The SkyPark? Decent, but bring your wallet and a bladder of steel – bathrooms are rarer than a quiet moment here. And speaking of quiet, try visiting when it's not "hell week." Unless you enjoy being shoulder-to-shoulder with thousands of your unknown closest friends.

The drive in from our cabin was the highlight – state park beauty with folks fly fishing and hitting the trails. Why didn't we just stay there?

The exit strategy from Gatlinburg is a game of traffic Tetris. But hey, we did have a unique moment of camaraderie, chucking a duck into a fellow jeep – 🚙 Jeeper fun in traffic jam style!

Capping off the day, we stumbled upon an epic pizzeria (the real MVP of the trip). As for the frosted Smokey Mountain views? Picture-perfect. Just missing that dash of old-fashioned mountain charm. Maybe Gatlinburg's more charming when it's not trying to impersonate a mini Vegas. Research next time? Definitely.

Mountain coaster!!!!!

By Dramamoma4 |

Loved the mountain coaster!!! I would save the money on the sky lift and use it for the coaster. We can back for a second visit

Great views of the Mountains and Gatlinburg strip.

By cverz2 |

Great views of the mountains and Downtown Gatlinburg. Great photo ops. The Sky Bridge at the top is really cool with a glass floor in the middle of the bridge.

keeps getting better

By Brenda K |

They continue to improve this experience. We remember when there really wasn't anything at the top. Now there is a gift shop, restaurant, and wonderful places to relax and enjoy the view.
The bridge is a rush. If you aren't game for that, there is an easy trail to bypass it and get to the other side.
We enjoy buying the all-day pass so that we can enjoy it during the day and again after dark. This is a little pricey, but one of our favorites. Buy the picture!

Great views

By kshanle786 |

We went on a Monday around ten thirty and there was no line, but when we left at twelve thirty there was a huge line. The bridge was my favorite part. We took the bridge across and then walked the trail to the tulip tower. There is nice sitting areas with great views, food, drinks and a shop. It does cost quite a bit but everything in Gatlinburg does. My husband is scared of heights and said he is glad he experienced it. The views we beautiful.

You have to take the sky lift, when in Gatlinburg!

By txgrneyedgal |

This was the most amazing view ever! And the bridge was pretty cool too.
Whoever thought of this and built it was a genius!!!

Great time

By k8isgr8000 |

Loved it, had a great time and views were wonderful!! I felt it was worth the price a lil under $100 for 2 adults and one child...

Nice attraction but expensive

By Videogreg |

A standard, although clean and smooth, ski lift top ride to the top of a ridge. The suspension bridge at the top is interesting and a fun walk. It looks a lot scarier viewing the bridge than actually being on it.

If you're simply inclined to spend the money to take the ride to the top of the ridge to view Gatlinburg and the surrounding mountains.....You can save yourself some money and see a similar view at one of the free Lookouts along the Gatlinburg bypass. How you decide to spend your money is up to you.

Amazing views

By julie b |

This was our first time on the SkyLift since the rebuild. We are just amazed at the additions at the top! Everything looks amazing & the view is just like we remembered. Rope bridges, food, drinks even alcohol ha! But I just love riding the chairlift :)

Great!

By Leah L |

We enjoyed this! We visited in the evening right before sunset. Great places to sit and take in the view. The bridge is exciting to cross. It was fairly busy.

Don't spend the money!

By Amy B |

Do not pay $60 to do this! The ride up the chairlift and crossing the bridge to look over parking lots and buildings might be worth $15 at most. My worst travel error ever to spend that kind of money. I felt scammed, and I was. Better free views anywhere on the Parkway.

Bridge was cool but construction keeps you from exiting the other side.

By ROBERT S |

The views are impressive. The bridge was open but we were unable to exit due to construction of the new observation patio on the other side.

The views! The story! Must see!

By Betsy C |

We got the unlimited deal and rode up the mountain multiple times while spending the day in Gatlinburg. We started our morning at the park then ended with sunset, enjoying a drink with the views. The park story of recovery after wildfires is amazing and inspiring. The ticket building is currently under construction, but I’m sure it will be great soon.

Best day!

By Kaitlin |

We wanted to visit at different times of the day so we got the all day pass. At night when we went back on the first night of “Love is in the Air”, my best friend and high school sweetheart proposed. In the middle of bridge on the glass bottom 😍 Thankfully Shannon was working on the bridge and caught it on camera! Great place!

Amazing views!

By Wwhipple58 |

Loved the ride today on the chair lift. The line went quick and the ride was beautiful.
They do take pics, but there’s no pressure at all to purchase.
At the top, there’s a viewing deck with cooling fans (great idea!!). And then of course there’s the Sky Walk wooden bridge. Would’ve loved to have made my way across, but my fear of heights and slight vertigo wouldn’t allow more than a quarter of the way out. Still so glad I tried.

Family get away

By NanaPazor |

I had a blast here with my family . It’s a kid’s friendly environment. Things are a little pricey but we enjoyed every minute there.

Well worth the cost.

By C G |

Plan to spend 1 1/2 - 2 hours enjoying this wonder. Rebuilt in 2017 after the devastating fire in 2016. Views are amazing. Ride up and back is smooth and quiet. Take in the bridge and tulip tower at the top. Hanging bridge didn't really sway, but the bridge to the tulip tower did. But it's not that long.

Great Views

By PattyMcC7 |

We had a good time and learned some things too. The chairlift up is fun but the views at the top and the ride down facing the mountain are the best! We liked the Sky bridge, the trail and Tulip Tower. Lots of factual information about the devastating 2016 fire and the recovery in the Tulip Tower. The far side of the Sky bridge has a great map that shows the many if the peaks. Recommended!

Meh. Overpriced.

By Morgan S |

This is a money trap. Nice views, for sure, but not worth the money. $32 a ticket to ride the lift and…walk across the bridge? Buy an overpriced souvenir photo? Play corn hole? Buy a $4 water. Gatlinburg was better before it became the Myrtle Beach of the mountains.

Old favorite...Take the time and go....

By Rfrommel |

I remember this from my childhood, my parents would take us here on vacation in the 70's. I took my daughter and she loved this and the sky bridge which is newer. Don't miss out on this favorite, you will not be sorry.

Amazing Trip

By Me L |

this was a great experience. the weather was warm, its best to buy your tickets ahead of time to move alittle faster. the view when you're on the lift is just absolutely amazing. they do have a little restaurant inside when you get to the top. very nice.

Overpriced but enjoyed it

By bctm |

We enjoyed this, it found it overpriced. Too much of the city with the Smokies in the background. Very well organized and friendly staff though.

Over rated

By Gage P |

The view was beautiful! But this was highly over priced. The amenities at the top were about as good as a ball park. You can get a better view for free driving through the national park.

Great views

By Dave M |

Great views loved every sec of it. The kids loved it once they gt up there. Only thing that sucks is that u pay for a pic when ur going up n u also pay for ur group pictures but worth it bc it's something u don't do everyday

Not worth it

By Katherine B |

Views are nice but better at Newfound gap plus they are free there. Definitely not worth the price. A big turn off was the old white man yelling at people on the bridges at the tulip tower. If you don’t want people to run or bounce in the bridge out up a sign.

Beware of the bees 🐝

By KRose |

We got a coupon code Nav 10 for discount on tickets. Fun ride up and down the mountain is slow and peaceful goes right over the river. They take several photos on sky lift and 4x3 keychain and wallet is 22. The employees were nice; food choices flavorful expensive $53 for corn dog, hot dog, two nachos, two slices of watermelon and a pretzel plus three drinks. FYI they have a bee problem we all got stung while eating our lunch. Lots of photo ops and chairs for viewing. The SkyBridge was fun w section of glass for those who dare. It’s not the most exciting thing to do in the Smokies but certainly a great view of the mountains and Gatlinburg. Cost $84 for three of us plus 22 for SkyLift pic, $20 for parking close by and food $53 total $179 and We spent about two hours there soThey do have senior discount which was nice.

Christmas lights

By Monica F |

I love it specially the Christmas lights and the walking trail cover in lights it's like a Christmas wonderland 😍🤗🥰❤

They got us…

By Melanieawesome |

They are advertising “Boo Bash” heavily right now for all of October. We spend the money and took the kids up there and there were three decorations. That was it. Not additional activities or things to see. We asked employees and they had no idea what “Boo Bash” was. Still a nice view but seems like a bait and switch.

Above Gatlinburg

By tdm58 |

Having nothing but time on our hands decided to do this attraction. Worth the money. Views spectacular. Walk across the suspension bridge was exhilarating. Take the time to do.

A wonderful view

By Ryland P |

We came to town to see the lights and visit Dollywood. The family rode up on the lift and it was beautiful. The Skybridge view was excellent. It was a nice visit and we would do it again.

Awesome

By Tina W |

We had so much fun at the SkyLift Park!!! The views on top were amazing! The SkyBridge was awesome!!! This is a “must do” on our list when we visit Gatlinburg.

Family adventure

By Kcarley |

We visited on the 4th of July and had tickets for the Fireworks event. It’s easy to board the lift and the ride up is slow and relaxing. They take your picture on the Skylift and you can purchase it at the top. The view from the Skybridge is breathtaking. The walk across is a little scary even if you’re not afraid of heights. The bridge moves and sways so this adds to the excitement of the experience. Once on the other side, you can walk the sky trail around and back or if your brave walk back across the bridge! This is definitely for families with teens. We ended the night riding the lift back down while watching the space needles fireworks’ show. Great memory.

Shannon 4 Lyfe

By Alexandra L |

We were the very last of the tourists for the day. We met Shannon working at the top of the skybridge after taking the chairlift to the top and we found ourselves drawn between walking the bridge, and conversation with Shannon at the entrance to the bridge. Being that it was 10PM it was just our group and Shannon at the top, and he walked some of the bridge with us to continue sharing stories and listening to ours. We’re local to Ohio and Shannon knew so many fun and interesting facts about the state we’d not heard before. The view was incredible, but having such a caring gentleman there to share his time and kindness melted our hearts and will be a highlight of the trip we’ll remember forever. Shannon has left a lasting impression with his positive energy and kindness. SkyLift Park had an abundance of kind staff throughout our visit, and shannon went above and beyond. (Literally…because he walked out/above on the bridge with us)
Shannon, if you see this, thank you so much for your time!!

A must try

By Peggy D |

Such beautiful views !! We grabbed cocktails and sat at the fire pit watching the sunset … it was such breathtaking a view.

Awesome upgrades!

By iteachul8r |

We enjoyed it so much we upgraded our tickets to go back at sunset. It has been many years since I have visited the park. The upgrades are well worth the visit.

It is good for one time!!!

By foodie0415 |

The chairlifts were nice. On top of the mountain was very expensive. If you walk across the sky bridge the charge $5 for a 20 ounce drink. Can I say price gouge!!!
People would stop on the skybridge and back both sides up!! It is not handicap accessible!!! Alot of steps to walk on the skybridge!!!

Friday, October 14th afternoon visit.

By iowacityia |

My wife and I arrived around 3:30pm to a long line stretching down the sidewalk. That line, along with the entire town, was freaking busy. How chaotic. We had purchased our tickets online, but were unable to download the QR code to show at the front entrance. So we waited in the long line until we got to turn in to the ticketing lines. There I asked a gentleman about our issue. Found out we could have skipped that long line and just walked up to that ticket entrance to get in. Oh well. It was a beautiful day, so that made waiting in line pretty painless. We made it to the top, did all the walking around we could. It was a lot of fun. Very, very, busy. Going down was considerably easier, and the wacky lines at the entrance were no more. We had a nice visit, but I think it is a one and done for us.

Awesome!

By dorothyl312 |

This place is amazing! Our two Senor tickets for all day access were were $62.46. The bridge was so much fun! The views were breathtaking!!! The highlight of our trip.

Beautiful views

By Carlene |

"Ticket lady" was extremely helpful finding the right QR code in my phone messages since I hadn't saved the right thing after purchasing my tickets online! The chairlift ride to the top was incredible with awesome views. We did not feel pressured to purchase the photos, or even to look at them. The bridge was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and everyone who walked on it with us was considerate of each other's photo moments. Although it was extremely hot the day we were there, the walk around the park had ample opportunities/areas to rest and cool down. Do not skip the tulip tower---it is very informational about the park.

Our only thorn was that we purchased the Skypass because we planned on returning in the evening to sit on the deck (like all the photos show) to enjoy the view and listen to music. After finding a good rocking chair with the other patrons, music didn't happen. The lift attendant finally directed us inside to the bar area where the music was actually set up. (There was no signage outside informing anyone of this.) We waited about 1/2 an hour for the musicians to get off break, (Thank goodness the bartender was friendly and chatted to us about park plans and made us a great beer cocktail.) only to have them quit for the nite because "the weather might be getting bad." Confused as to why the musicians would call it a night when the park was still sending people up on the lift??

Had we known this was a possibility, we would not have bought a Skypass. My suggestion is to save $10/person and buy the single visit pass...you just never know.

Awesome Views!

By Angela N |

The view of the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg from the Skybridge were awesome! Loved the Skylift and the Skybridge; well worth the price of admission. I recommend buying the tickets online not only to save money, but to skip the ticket purchase line when you get there.

Way over priced!

By Larry S |

Even though the sky bridge was an experience in my opinion it was not worth the money. And beware of the $4:00 dollar bottles of water in the store.

So Beautiful!

By Tay |

So cool! Me and my boyfriend went here on our vacation. We got to ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain and got a great view of Gatlinburg!

Best tour guide ever

By Joshua H |

Shannon Smith was the best tour guide ever. If it wasn't for him we would have not made it across the skybridge. He educated us on the history of Gatlinburg And the surrounding mountains He definitely took the experience to another level.

Gorgeous views

This is a must do. The views are spectacular. Keep your wristband on and come back at night. So peaceful and beautiful. One of our party is scared of heights and loved it.

Favorite part of our trips to Gatlinburg!

By Lisa F |

Been coming since for 50+ years with the exception of 2016 when the fire took it out. We buy the multiple trip ticket. I absolutely love riding the lift. Old person friendly - they will stop chairs for handicap and assist you in and out. Skybridge - awesome to watch others cross - unfortunately I am afraid of heights - so that is a no can do for me. Husband enjoyed it. $58 for senior/military for all day pass. Got my monies worth with the multiple up/down Crockett Mountain. Gift shop, food, restrooms, etc. at top of the mountain. Don't forget to smile for the camera. We saw 3 very fat chipmunks during our rides. New lift chairs are fluffy friendly. My favorite part is crossing the river section. Always recommend to others. Family tradition - first with parents - then with children - then with grandchildren. Favorite trips are when it is just hubby and me. They now do wedding according to the sign. They are adding - so construction is ongoing as of May 2023.

Great experience, Shannon was amazing wealth of information.

What a great experience and meeting Shannon & his expertise on the area was wonderful! The views were amazing, the cleanliness & friendly workers.

Nice views, too many people

By Traveler8N |

The views are ok, but there are too many people, feels more like a tourist trap than most other tourist traps.

When you factor in the hassle of parking in Gatlinburg it's really not worth going.

DON'T BOTHER!!! A TOURIST TRAP, LITERALLY!!!

By tinker |

What a waste of time and money!

You pay a small fortune to get a chairlift up to the top of a not-particularly-high hill, where there is a suspension bridge joining to another not-particularly-high hill. Oh, and there is a gift shop. That's it!

Is the view spectacular? No. You just look down the hill at the town. You get much better views for free from the side of the road as you drive through the national park.

Is the bridge exciting? No. It bumps up and down a fraction as you walk over it. There is a glass panel in the middle of the bridge, but it is scuffed up by everyone's shoes, so it sort of ruins the effect. You may as well just look out over the side of the bridge. Not that the view straight down is anything to write home about.

Oh, and you'd better hope that a thunder storm doesn't come through while you're up at the top. We had this happen, and they shut down the chairlift for safety precautions. We were stranded at the top for over 2 hours. We couldn't go on the bridge at the time, so were stuck sitting around the gift shop. Eventually they organised a shuttle bus to take people down via the road. We were on the first bus but it still took forever. In the meantime the lift started running again, so it probably would have been better just to wait for the lift.

We overheard other families complaining that they had just arrived at the top of the hill when the place shut down, so they missed out on walking over the bridge. They were trying to get their money back, but there was a long queue of people all wanting to complain, so it probably would have taken several more hours.

Underwhelming and Overpriced

By loves2travelandmore |

I expected more. The attendants at the Sky Lift were competent and friendly, but one ski lift ride is like the next. At the top, you walk across the suspension bridge that mostly overlooks Gatlinburg and area housing rather than pristine natural beauty. The bridge experience just wasn't worth it to us ($69.18 senior rate for two). The "trails" at the top were closed for maintainence. Souvenirs could be purchased at top or bottom, but I didn't want to be reminded of the experience.

High Above Gatlinburg

By Traveler05577 |

A neat place to visit... The sky-lift park features a char-lift to/from the top of a smaller mountain, a suspended walking bridge between two smaller mountains and amazing scenic views of Gatlinburg and the surrounding mountains. There is also several seating areas outdoors on the mountain and in the park building to relax and take in the views. Would recommend getting the pass allowing for a day and night experience.

Sky bridge fun

We had an amazing time this past Sunday. Beautiful views and enjoyed warming up around the fire pit.

Beautiful view!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit! I am scared of heights but nobody was acting silly on the bridge so I was able to make it across. We sat for a while to enjoy the view - beautiful! Well worth the money!

Very beautiful attraction! Staff were very nice. The scenery was my favorite part of it all. And the prices were not bad at all.

Great except guy selling photos

By girchbeb |

We loved it and it was one of the highlights of our trip to the area. We must've gone in in a crowded time because we did not have the negative experiences that others have mentioned. I will say I don't think there's anybody policing how many people could be on the bridge at any given time but when we went it wasn't an excessive amount.

The only negative: when you get off there are people at booths trying to sell you a photo package. I didn't know what that booth was for so I approached the booth thinking I needed to buy some thing to go on the bridge. Nothing was communicated about the procedure, so of course I didn't know. So when I found out it was somebody selling pictures and I politely declined the guy got all rude and had an attitude as if he's never had anybody say no to him before. Kind of started off our experience on a bad note. You really need to reevaluate the types of workers that are pushing these over priced packages and their response to one customer declining their offer.

Way too pricey!

By suzanne f jones |

Don't go to this one; drive up on Ober Gatlinburg and do the much less pricey ($10) chairlift and Alpine Slide instead!

Helpful Shannon

By Renae H |

A worker by the name of Shannon was so helpful to my husband and I while we were at the bridge. He was very courteous and a joy to be around. He answered questions we had about the sky bridge.

A Must Do if your in Gatlinburg

By Colddrinks1999 |

The lines were long, but well worth it, beautiful scenery very professional staff, lots of gifts to look through.

Nice experience

By Steve C |

The ski lift up was great. The suspension bridge on top was great. We saw Black Bear eating berries from the bridge. Well worth doing.
There was live music and beer on top.
The views were amazing.

Great Views - Though Pricing Is High

By Craig A |

The ski-lift ride up was fine but not too special. But the views from the top plus the sky-bridge were excellent. We took the walk around the top and learned about the recent forrest fires. The sky bridge is fun to walk across and looking down into Gatlinburg from that height was interesting. The gift shop was average...

I think this is pretty pricey ($26 @ person for seniors) but we did enjoy ourselves nonetheless.

Awesome views and experience!

By knicks02 |

First time in Gatlinburg with the kids and we thought it would be an awesome experience. We weren't wrong. The line was long, but we purchased tickets online and were able to skip the line. We took the sky lift up there and the kids loved the bridge. Thye were able to take pictures on the glass floor. Later in the evening we went back up there, and the bridge was decked out in green with shamrocks underneath for St Patrick's Day. An awesome experience for al.

We loved it.

By Tara M |

Fun ski lift ride to to the top was just as much fun as walking the bridge. The bridge has glass on the bottom in the middle so you can look right down - yikes! Great views. I'd recommend calling before you head out because sometimes it's windy and they need to shut down for a bit. Also, the free Gatlinburg trolley red line stops close by so you don't have to park.

Great time

By Jill L |

This was a very easy event to do. We bought tickets online and just walked right up and got on the chair lift going up to the top. The view was amazing. The personnel working were very pleasant and nice. the skybridge was scary but in a good way. The views were outstanding. I would recommend this event for the fun and also the price is very good. We bought the pictures on the lift and they were cute and not terribly expensive.

Really Neat experience... somewhat terrifying!

By Amanda T |

OK, the views are incredible from the top.

It's PACKED with people so be ready. Soooo many people stopping for photos on the bridge without even checking for a moment if you're trying to walk through or take your own photo without a dozen people in it.

The bridge sways as you walk across so if you aren't ready for that, it can be disorienting.

The chair lift to get UP to the bridge, though... OMG TERRIFYING. I wish there was a stairs option or a bus shuttle or something. SERIOUSLY THAT CHAIR LIFT IS SCARY!

NO ONE told us to even pull the bar down, or explain anything to us, or suggest a certain way to sit or even barely a word getting into that death trap. SO MANY people just holding their YOUNG KIDS or dogs on the lift, with no restraint of any kind.

It sways, and stops frequently leaving you dangling feeling like you're going to topple out of the thing. And once you're up to the mountain, you've got no choice but to ride the chair lift of terror back down.

Great views of Gatlinburg!

By Cynthia B |

Great views of Gatlinburg. Fun experience! Definitely want to do this if it’s your first time to the area like it was for us!

FUN ADVENTURE

By Tina P |

I am not a fan of heights, but this was fun!! It was a rainy day and not crowded at all, which made it more enjoyable.

Must do in Gatlinburg!

By Amy W |

Standing on the glass portion of the suspended bridge was amazing! I loved the entire experience...the lift up, the bridge, the nice hike/walk around the back of the cliff wall with the 2 smaller swinging bridges to cross as well! Climbing to the top of the tower to see the views and watching the sunset over the mountains was the best part!

Outdoor activity for all ages

By wayLeadsOn2way |

The park is on the pricey side ($36 for an adult or $38 if unlimited for the day), however, it's a great spot if you're traveling solo or with different ages and abilities. The sky lift is slow and not very jerky. Once at the top, there are table and chairs in the shade and sun with great views. Just want to sit and relax? You can do that, too. There's also a restaurant and gift shop at the top. If you want more activity, once at the top, you can take the path behind the suspended bridge (10-min leisurely walk) and still be able to l enjoy the views. The pathway seems to also open to an alternate way to get to the top without using the sky lift. There's also a smaller kiddy bridge in the back, pictured. Along the short pathway are fans that spray cool water and multiple benches with shade to sit down. I decided to take the path around the suspension bridge and then return on the bridge. Right in the middle of the bridge is a plexi glass like 10-15 feet of bridge. Looking down is unnerving. One can do this in about 30 min or spend a few hours. It's also possible to buy tickets in advance. I bought my ticktets on a Saturday, midday, during the summer, and there were only about 10 people in front of me. Lines move quickly. The website has full details of all that is offered with maps and pictures.

Fun and easy family outing

By samantha k |

Family of 4 great trip and enjoyed the ride and walk. Friendly staff. For other reviewers on the photos... Only 1 photo at the beginning then just say no thanks. No problem for us. Great views, fun history. We went during the day

Relaxing ride with wonderful views

By Invictus1906 |

This was a fun experience. The lift is very well maintained and was one of the smoothest and quietest we've ever ridden. We had someone that needed assistance and the attendants did an excellent job of helping.

The ride itself was peaceful and relaxing while giving us some good views on the way up the mountainside. Will do this again when in the area.

Only authentic attraction left in Gatlinburg

By dona s |

I have been visiting Gatlinburg for over 50 years and the skylift is always the number one thing to do.It has been modernized and rebuilt due to the fire.It still brings a smile to my face and to ride across the road is still a thrill. They still take your picture at the top before you get off so be ready. We walked the new skybridge and then took the trail back to the skylift. The view is amazing and the ride was smooth so enjoy.Thank you Gatlinburg for keeping this attraction.I would suggest building an entry at the bottom like the original.

Same price yet much more to do in Anakeesta. Also the souvenir shop was closed.

By Joaquin V |

Disappointed after visiting Anakeesta about the same price yet much more to do in Anakeesta. Also the souvenir shop was closed at the other side of the bridge. My wife is terrified of height and crossed the bride and was not able to buy any of the souvenirs that say I crossed the bridge main reason for us going there. Do not any of those souvenirs on the main shop. I understand the weather was not the best but if the park is open then all services should as well. The photo going up the lift did not even alert us a photo was being taken. People like photo opportunities and aside form the bridge and the big chair there is very little to do or see.

Amazing views

By PamRoad |

The chairlift up the mountain is a very nice experience. It runs smoothly and gets you up the mountain in about 10 minutes. They will stop the chair for you to get off if you request it. There is a big viewing area where you can sit in rockers and just enjoy the views. The walkway is absolutely breathtaking. This is a must-do when in Gatlinburg.

Worth the trip up!!

Good Way to Experience the Smokey Mountains

By Mermaid P |

We happened upon Gatlinburg on our trip. I did a brief search for things to do and we landed on the sky lift. You take a chair lift up and you can walk about at your leisure until the trip down, or walk down if you fancy.

The sky bridge was a lot of fun. We took kids aged 3 and 10 and they both enjoyed. They had a restaurant at the top where they were restored with wonderful vegan options and non vegan for my dad.

The sky bridge is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the US! Nice little walk. We wanted to stretch our legs after days of driving and they have trails as well as a tower you can climb and get a nice view.

Wow… what a view

By Susie S |

We went close to sunset and what an amazing view we experienced. Breathtaking views of the mountains and a stunning sunset. The walk across the bridge was a little bit frightening but worth the experience.

Enjoyable attraction.

By screw you |

First time patron but it was fun. Definitely not handicap friendly but dogs are welcomed. A great view when you get to the top. Food and refreshments available. You can purchase photos taken when you first arrive with a view or while traveling up the mountain. There is a walking trail and bridge aloft. Again great views from up above. Glad we went, but it's probably one of those things you do once and say I did that.

A little pricey but fun

By ramblinggirl67 |

My mom and I came here before heading to Pigeon Forge. We had a good time and got some great views. We walked across the bridge (not nearly as scary as the photos make it look!) and came back on the trail. We had some snacks but they were definitely not worth the cost - plan to eat elsewhere. I thought the entire experience was a little pricey for the amount of time we spent there - we were probably there less than an hour and a half. But, overall, we were glad we went.

A great unique view of Gatlinburg.

By CasperNomad |

Everything you need to get an overview of Gatlinburg.
A ski type ride to the top of the mountain.
Several different perspectives for pictures.

Simply Stunning!

By Judie U |

Superb experience. Stunning view, we happened to be there in snow and blue skies, truly beautiful with snow caped mountains. The fire pits at the top were lovely, lots of good seating, the kind of place that with a good cup of hot chocolate and a book and you could sit there all day!

TOURIST TRAP! SAVE YOUR MONEY! RUDE STAFF

By Bill S |

Don’t make the same mistake I did coming here, I’m visiting all the way from Texas, spent over $200 although the views were fantastic, the ski lift was underwhelming, as well as the sky bridge. Don’t think it’s worth the price at all and is basically a tourist trap. The price you pay just doesn’t include much at all! Trails are closed. Foggy glass on the bridge. Overpriced food. No parking. Also the guy who stands and watches the line is absolutely the rudest person I’ve came across in Tennessee, so are the booth attendants. Nasty attitudes and the guy started yelling at someone in my party picking a fight with me because he thought she left a can of soda on the counter then started getting in my face and mouthing off about “it wasn’t there before you got here” in such a condescending way I told him check the d*mn camera because it wasn’t us he said “the camera wouldn’t see that” what a joke of a person! next time he’s gonna pick a fight with the wrong person. They are so inconsiderate here, don’t even give you time to sit on the seat. Maybe a one time thing.

Tradition should do at least once!

By gatorsos |

So this place obviously is a tradition.. been around a long time, it shows Before & After fire pictures, they really did it up much better than it was before, When you take the sky Lift they have a little restaurant and bar up there, nice water fountains, you can relax in the shade ,there's plenty of room to walk around and explore different things, have a walking trail, they have the swinging bridge that's pretty neat .I would highly recommend you do this at least once .they have 2 different price options one is $35 I think you go up-and-down.. you can stay as long as you want but when you're down that's it ..then they have one that's in the 40s and you can go up and down all day.. that might be Better if you want to come back at night

Love doing this each trip!

By faithlynnd94 |

The view from the sky lift is gorgeous and it's a must do every trip. It's just a whole lot of fun. They do have a gift shop and snack and drink options at the top! Love it!

Beautiful in the fall

By Rose B |

We go to Gatlinburg every year, but we kept putting this off because of the crowds. Finally, did it this time. Would have liked to have stayed longer but no smoking area is available, and my husband was miserable because he couldn't smoke.

A staple of the area!

By Alexis W |

Definitely recommend doing this and getting your tickets ahead of time or included in a bigger package! 5 stars because it's a staple of the area. It is a gorgeous area up top and you can definitely tell they work to keep the path up, the trails, and surrounding area clean, landscaped, and well lit. It was so peaceful to sit up in the rocking chairs and look at the view. At night they had lights and a fire pit going which was super nice. All staff were kind and knowledgeable.

Very relaxing and the views were over the top!

By Linda K |

I would absolutely recommend the SkyLift Park for all ages. The last time I was on the Sky Lift was before all of the renovations and I was speechless with the experience this time. It now has a lovely place to sit and take in the view over Gatlinburg and the surrounding landscape of the park is lovely with the plants, waterfall, gift shop and snack bar.

Must do!

By ssgrl |

This was a really neat experience. From the lift ride up to the suspension bridge. We arrived at 9 am and were on our way down before the crowds started. This is a simple thing you can do that does not cost a lot of money.

Ok at best, not worth a second trip!

By Roy C |

We did this more than anything to ride the lift. It's GROSSLY overpriced. There was next to nothing at the bar at the top. The sky bridge and the lift ride were the only good things. The staff was very friendly, they will ask you about wanting your photo at the bottom and the top of the list. The view was very nice but it wasn't worth the price for the experience. Parking can be tricky, look around, don't pay the $20 for the day unless you have to.

Awesome time in Gatlinburg!

By Rick Pearsall |

If you're going to Gatlinburg for the first time you should definitely visit the SkyLift Park in downtown. The views and scenery are amazing while traveling the lifts and the Sky Bridge was an experience in itself!

Overpriced for the value

By MidwestMegOC |

My teenage son and I enjoyed the short gondola ride to the top and the walk on the SkyBridge, but not for $84. I expected it to be half of that price for the two of us. We have traveled to many ski resort towns in Colorado and were never charged for the gondola to the top. The bridge was a little thrilling, but the "glass" floor in the middle needs cleaning or replacing. There definitely needs to be more value for that price.

Good time

Me and my wife went here for vacation and loved it we will be back next year for are anniversary to stay

fun

By RamseyIris |

Fun to ride up the mountain in a ski-lift. ADVICE: They are reasonably priced. Buy your ticket online and go early to avoid traffic and lines!

Best views of Gatlinburg and surrounding area

By JDRWV1 |

A must-see when you're in Gatlinburg!! It's a little 'pricey' for what you get but they're adding more. You go up in the Sky Lift to the 1,800-foot top. From there you can walk across the longest (700 ft) suspension bridge in North America...with a section of glass planking in the middle. There's also a tower accessible via suspended walkways, a trail, a gift shop (Of Course), and a small snack bar. The views are amazing, but go early it gets crowded fast.

Nice going to the top in a ski lift then walking the bridge.

By RalphM33 |

We were on a tour and didn’t have a lot of time in Gatlinburg but as soon as I saw sky lifts going up the mountain and a skyway bridge going between peaks we had to go. It was really nice and, even though the bridge is very high over the canyon, it is very stable and they used very large and strong cables and posts. In the middle of the bridge is a glass area where you can look straight down —- or not.

A Must Do Attraction!!

By VanEsq12 |

By far one of the coolest things I've ever done! This bridge is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in ALL of North America! It was exhilerating to be in the middle of the bridge (which is plexiglass), lie down, and take a selfie with nothing but open air and canyon below me. The views from the bridge were fantastic! And you can stay there and walk around the trail for as long as you like. HINT: Bring a windbreaker or rain jacket. You get to the bridge by a ski lift. It started raining -hard- halfway fown the mountain. HINT: There is a cafe' up top for coffee and refreshments. HINT: Get there when they open. The bridge isn't crowded yet, and you will be able to take pictures without a bunch of people in them.

I must say that we had a great time. Shannon made our experience outstanding. He took the time to walk with us over the bridge and tell us about the local history!!!

We loved Skypark and Shannon!

By Kari O |

We truly enjoyed this skypark! We got the all day pass so we could go during the day and back at sunset! It was beautiful both times! The sky bridge is amazing and the lift was peaceful too! We met an employee names Shannon/Merlin, he was awesome! He knew a lot about Gartlinburg history and would answer any questions you had! He helped make our experience more enjoyable then it already was!!!

Beautiful

By Crystal W |

Beautiful but very expensive. Very short, about 45 mins is plenty especially with kids. But view is amazing.

Terrible customer survive

By sydney w |

My family and I visited Gatlinburg after the weekend to avoid traffic and long lines, we decided to go to the Skylift for the amazing view and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately once we got to the ticket booth we were greeted with the most unpleasant, vulgar, unladylike employee I have ever came into contact with. Luckily my husband caught her name (Tiffany) because I was too upset with the lady to even think straight. The view was pretty.

Enjoy the view!

By JB P |

Went to Gatlinburg for one day to see the sites. Decided to do the SkyLift and it was perfect. Amazing views, fun bridge at the top, and great experience. A little shaky if you don't love heights, but I did it, and I don't even like a ladder. Enjoy the view!

The lift was great but the swinging Bridge?

By brewColumbus_Georgia |

The lift up was great- you felt like if you fell out you would die- but then you get to the top and there is a swing bridge- no thank you, walked about 20 steps out and turned around. The Grand Girls and Husband did it without me. There is also hiking and a place for a snack at the top.

The view and experience of a lifetime

By Laila P |

The views while riding the skylift were amazing. We could see the mountains and we even saw birds flying not that high above us and the scenery looked so healthy and green. The experience while walking across the bridge was a little nerve racking due to the slight shaking as I walked across, but when I got to the end I felt so accomplished that I wanted to go again. The people that work there were very welcoming and kind and even reassured me about not wanting to get on at first and encouraged me.

Beautiful Views

By Katie K |

My family enjoyed this park. The line for the lift wasn't too long and it was a smooth ride. We enjoyed the bridge and I was pleasantly surprised with the Tulip tower that told the story of the rebuilding of the park after a devastating forest fire. It was expensive, though, and I felt like it needed one more attraction to justify the price.

Beautiful view!

By jane850 |

Gorgeous views of Gatlinburg and the mountains. It was great to see the town from this perspective. The bridge is kind of scary but that made it fun too. Great way to spend an hour or so.

The Gatlinburg Skylift Park offers a great perspective of Gatlinburg downtown. Incredible views of Mt Le Conte and surrounding mountains. Our walk across the Gatlinburg Skybridge (with a glass floor) was an absolute treat. Plan to visit when you can also walk the bridge at night. Being January, we very much enjoyed our visit with the opportunity to sit around the huge fire pit and chat with new friends from many other states.

Family Vacation

Traveling with my three grandchildren. The skylift and bridge were neat. However, nothing for kids. Just pretty scenery and walking.

Fun and informational, but be wary of the weather!

By Renee D |

You MUST get on the ride to the top if you see it running with people going UP! Do not walk around the town and think that you will go up there later.

If you have tickets and it is running with people going UP, go up RIGHT THEN. We watched them empty the entire top of the mountain of people going DOWN which we thought was strange because they were still running and electrical chair lift during potential lightning in order to get the people to the bottom.

They like to shut it down if there is a threat of rain or a lightning strike 5 miles away.

Thankfully, we got to town around 10 AM and went straight up because that was our activity for the day.

We spent probably about 2 1/2 hours up there and then got our ride back down. We proceeded to walk around the town. Probably around two or 3 o’clock, we wanted to ride the lift up and down one more time and it was closed. It was closed for at least two hours before we just left town without riding the ride a second time.

That is why I say when you get to town and the ride is running, then you need to do the ride then and walk around the town later.

So with that in mind about the weather, don’t buy your tickets until you get there. We didn’t buy ours until we got there and the line was relatively short anyways because there were several windows to buy your tickets at and at least two other companies that provide a similar experience, so the line was not super long anyways.

There were people scrambling to get refunds because of the storm cloud or hoping that it would open up but the representatives would make no promises. I was very glad that wasn’t our situation.

Make sure you take the time to really look around once you are up there. Don’t be in a rush. Really take in the views and relax. Take the time to go across the bridge, maybe even twice. We did. Take the time to go up the tulip tower and read about the history of the fire which explains why the tower is designed the way it is and why it is located where it is located.

Also, take the time to sit on the wooden Adirondack chairs. Also, take the time to go to the bar area outside and just sit and look at Gatlinburg down below.

But if you do all that, it will take 2 to 3 hours, not the one to two hours suggested on various websites.

Seeing a bear from the bridge

By Rodg |

My wife and I were shopping and saw the attraction so we decided to check it out. It was a cool afternoon about 4 pm and there wasn’t a line so we were able to walk up and get tickets right away . The ride up was comfortable and gave us great views of Gatlinburg. At the top we were assisted getting off as the chairs like a ski lift don’t stop. We walked around the sky bridge on a separate walkway for the views. Once around and after several pictures we walked across the sky bridge leading us back to the lift area. While in the bridge we were lucky enough to watch a black bear for a few minutes. Then back down the lift to the starting point. Great experience and not as scary a trip as we expected

Must See

By Kris W |

What a gorgeous view and smooth and wonderful ride. The staff was great and made your experience fun! This has to be one of the best tours I have been on.

Beauty at the top

By JOAN F |

The workers were friendly and helpful. The scenic views were beautiful. I love at the top you can see all of Gatlinburg and beyond. The suspended bridge is something. I am afraid of heights but was able to cross it! The ride down was perhaps the best part. On our way down, we saw a baby black bear. I would highly recommend this attraction.

Bridge with a view

By anne p |

Took the skylift up to the start of the skybridge. It was a nice clear day and I could see for miles, slightly disturbing walking over the glass half way over. I walked around the trail rather than cross the bridge again and there were well marked out spots to take a photo.

Expensive and employees are rude.

By IllinoisEscape |

Very expensive and not worth the money. The attendants at the top and bottom are rude and unfriendly. Safety is sketchy. I would not recommend.

Beautiful views

By Cindy K |

Amazing views of the Smoky Mountains and a wonderful experience for all. The sky bridge was a real treat and the smaller rope bridge was fun too because it was a swinging bridge! We had a great time there and would highly recommend it to all!

Value?

By Billy G |

Everything in tourist areas are overpriced but for what you get, it is a poor value. Sure, I get it, if you want to say that you did this once, ok. But, it's a lift and you walk across a suspended bridge. It's pricey for what it is.

Big bucks for nothing

By IslandSeekers817 |

Lame scam. $154 for our family of 4 to take an old chairlift up to a cable bridge. The other so called “attractions” are a dusty short walk along the ridge up there. Spend your time in the National Park instead for natural beauty and sweeping views.

Vacation

By Rob L |

What a great piece of Gatlinburg history brought out of the ashes of the 16 fires. The story is detailed at the top and it’s very inspirational.

It’s an awesome experience for all ages starting at the bottom of the hill with a fun ride on the chair left to the bridge above. The view is beautiful and it’s a lot of fun for everyone.

Shannon @ sky lift park

By Jordan J |

Sky lift park was amazing! We went in the evening right before close to see the view at night time. It was absolutely beautiful. Once we got to the top we were greeted by Shannon. Shannon was absolutely amazing, his stories were so fun to hear.

Urban Sprawl.

By James W |

It is a disappointing place. They’ve taken one of the prettiest valleys in Tennessee and scarred it. The skywalk park sells natural beauty, but delivers nothing but business sprawl. No matter where you look, it’s junked up. So sad! I wouldn’t recommend this place for any serious nature lovers. Maybe stop for a morning just to remind yourself that there are so many other beautiful places in Tennessee.

Fantastic experience…but using the toilet is a problem.

By Shawn N |

Wow! What a great experience! From the ride up, to the walk to and from the bridge, and back down! Shannon was a great and valuable person to run into. He knows so much about the true roots of pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Such a breath of fresh air! Only real problem we ran into….(and I’m sure a lot of people and families did too) was the lack of bathrooms. Waaaaay to many people and not enough bathrooms. Anyways, the staff was great!

Great views and Bucket List Bridge

By Grace's Parents |

A little pricey for just riding up if you can’t quite muster the courage for walking the bridge. Otherwise it is a chance to shop, eat, take in the gorgeous views and relax.

This was a Bucket List item for me, so I did the footbridge and it was great! Mostly solid wooden planks, but the center of the bridge is glass so you can see down. The bridge does wiggle with the footsteps of the walkers and a little from the breezes, but isn’t as scary as I expected. Thank goodness!

After going across the bridge you do have options. Go back across, take a trail back, and/or go to the Tulip Tower. I did choose the extra exercise by taking the trail around and it was nice. Tulip Tower was cute and a bit of a scaled down version with its own two walk bridges. It still gave nice views of the mountains and was a great place to photograph the larger main bridge.

Gift shop was as expected with the standard fare. We did not eat anything there, so I can’t comment.

The sky lift is steeper I think than the one at Anakeesta, but you’re closer to the ground the whole time which makes it much less scary for those afraid of heights. I think it’s newer and felt very secure.

Honestly, it’s a nice place and a great place to kick back in the deck chairs and take in the views. After you’ve conquered the bridge and can sit back satisfied marking this one off your list!

The sky lift is magical

By Luke C |

While I was up there Shannon encouraged and helped me cross the bridge, really helped with my fear of heights! Plus he showed me a magic trick! Overall my experience was 10/10, great staff and a beautiful environment. Definitely worth the price!

This is a must do

By Drew C |

My wife and daughter both bought tickets in advance which I highly recommend since you can just skip the line and walk right in. You go up on the Skylift which is fun just in its self to get to the skybridge where you will see a spectacular view of the Smokey Mtns and Gatlinburg. Super friendly employees and be sure to get your picture at the top.

DO NOT pre-book online

By Marcie |

DO NOT pre-book online if there is any question you might not get to go because of the weather. They will refuse to refund you if they close because of the weather and also be rude in the process!

A nice place to visit.

By Michael L |

Nice chairlift to the top of the mountain, where you take a swinging bridge to another hill. There are great views of mountains, hiking trails, and part of the bridge has glass panels that you walk on to see the valley below. There is a small place to get food and drinks. There is also a large covered area with fans to cool off.

FUN!

By Anastasia S |

I almost got eaten by a bear! The sky lift was very very very very very very very fun! And the food was amazing! Would definitely go back there again! In fact I am here!!

Gatlinburg Skylift Park

By Prostaff_mmw |

This is a must if you go to Gatlinburg TN. The skyllift is amazing to ride and the view is outstanding. Walking across the sky bridge was fun and we would have enjoyed it more but it was raining.

Skylift park

By Katie s |

It was fun riding up to the top. It was fun to walk around on top of the mountain. Walking out to see the edge was fun and nerve racking when we felt it shake a little.

Very nice ride and views

By 338Concerned |

My Wife and I enjoyed the sky-lift ride. The views from the top of the mountain at the observation deck were really neat

Super great views and very friendly staff

By Lori Beth K |

The ride up was a little nerve wrecking for me but once I made it to the top it was great. I was able to enjoy the view from the upstairs viewing area while partaking of a cold beverage. very enjoyable.

Swinging High

By CRAIG C |

This is something you just have to do! Take the lift to the top and then walk across the suspension bridge. We bought the ticket for just one trip up to the top. It was as my overly crowded, but what an experience! After crossing the bridge both ways, we headed back down on the lift for another event.

Great views Gatlinburg

By Bill B |

Great views. Fun chair ride up and down. Great views of Gatlinburg from the top. The new bridge they put in is fun to cross. Lots construction going on for future attractions. Price was discounted.

Great view

By Katy M |

Went at sunset and it was so beautiful. There were 3 bear sightings which was very cool. Staff is very friendly as well, Shannon was great.

Highly Recommend Skylift Park

By Paula C |

We had so much fun at Skylift Park. It was so modern and safe. The Skywalk looked scary but was very easy to walk across. The Skytrail offered beautiful views of the mountains. Great fire pit and the Adirondack glider chairs on multiple patio levels were so comfortable and offered fantastic views of the city below and the mountains beyond. The chair lift is very steep so the ride down offers fantastic views. . This park was destroyed by the 2016 fire and totally rebuilt. They did a great job. This was well worth the ticket price.

Local couldn’t recommend someplace else more!!

By Micheala R |

Owning 2 properties and working in sevier county with proof doesn’t qualify for sevier county resident discount if you don’t have License with sevier address. Every person required to have sevier address on license. Only 1 ticket per ID Michelle’s typing up. Very disappointed in customer service and strongly suggest going to Anakeesta instead.

Half lights out

By jennifer |

We purchased our tickets online in October for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We arrived and it was drizzle and cold. The park was NOT busy. We had the express pass. We paid $45/ticket.
Our intention was to go up for the Christmas Lights.
No one mentioned half the lights out on the bridge.
While it was a cool experience was it worth $45/person? No!
Would $25 been better YES.
We said something when we got down the picture person showed empathy. But said to tell the person at the counter. We told the lady at the counter. Just okay I'll let management know.
I've been up to the bridge before and it was a great experience. This time left me with a unsatisfied experience for the value.

Gorgeous Views

By HappyTraveler98898 |

We had originally thought we'd go to Anakeesta, but they had crazy long lines and huge crowds so we looked for an alternative. I'm so glad we did, we loved it at Skypark. If you purchase tickets 3 days in advance, you do save a few dollars but we just purchased that day for around $38/person.
We parked at the Aquarium garage for $10/day and then took the free trolley to the stop nearest the Skypark. I have never been on a ski lift and was a little unsure before our ride, but it was not at all scary. The ride up the mountain is slow and relaxing. Once at the top, food & drinks are not cheap but that is to be expected in such a tourist focused town. There are numerous fire pits and plentiful, comfortable chairs all around the area. The walk across the Skybridge is amazing, it is gorgeous up there. I didn't find the walk across the bridge to be scary, but did walk past a few people who seemed to be a bit scared by the height of the bridge. It felt very safe, but does move a bit and I can see how that may be unsettling to some. A section of the bridge at the center has a clear bottom...I did not love that part, but I'm sure some find it breathtaking.
We opted to have lunch across the bridge at the smash burger place. Lots of tables in the shade with gorgeous views. The food prices were high, but for the portions seem reasonable. The burgers were yummy and filling. The onion rings are delicious and one serving can probably serve two people.
We walked to the tulip tree tower and enjoyed the history on the signs along the walk. There are hiking trails in the park, but we didn't come prepared to hike so we will save those for a future trip. They didn't offer some of the more active attractions that Anakeesta has, like ziplines, but overall this was a great find. It was a little low-key and we found it quite enjoyable. It appeared they are adding and improving the area, I look forward to our next visit.

Fabulous! There is nothing else to describe this park!

By YotaPower |

There isn’t any part of this visit we didn’t love. Started out with a leisurely ride up the hill side on the chairlift. Next up the suspension bridge with the section of glass to navigate for those with a fear of heights. Then a nice walk around the lip to the tower and two more suspension bridges. Thencontinue around the rim with a beautiful view and plenty of photo ops. Back to the lift and spend some time out on the upstairs patio while having a beverage and overlooking the city. Back on the chairlift for the scenic ride back into the city. Absolutely recommend this park, and will DEFINITELY do it again.

Beautiful view of the mountains. Quite expensive but worth it.

By Jackson M |

The view of the mountains and town was absolutely pretty, it was quite pricey though but had a cool little shop as well as a bridge, observation towers, and an entire trail to walk on. I'd recommend getting some souvenirs as well. There are a ton of people there so don't expect it to be empty. Overall a must-do if you are passing through gatlinburg.

Perfection

By Calla Lilly |

This is a must do. The design and maintenance of this mountain overlook is perfect. The views, seating, chairlift, suspension bridge and even the restrooms are top notch.

A Gatlinburg Staple No Longer Worth the Money

By travelinfireman |

My wife and I have been visiting Gatlinburg since 2004. The SkyLift had become a tradition especially before it succumbed to the wildfires in 2016. We were happy to see it rebuilt with extra activities at the top, but were not pleased to spend an outrageous ticket amount this past Sunday. $84 for two adults. This does include the chair lift ride, scenic views, and Sky Bridge but we miss the simplicity of the old set up, and the old prices. IF we choose to do this attraction again we will BOLO for some coupons.

Perfect day to have this Adventure!

By Gypsy Girl 425 |

We really enjoyed this park. The suspension bridge was cool and had amazing views. It was not at all crowded the day we went so we could enjoy the park at our leisure!

Go here!

By Angela H. |

Next visit we plan to hike trails up versus take the sky lift. This is worth the price. Best views of gatlinburg and area. They will try to sell you pictures but not pushy.

‘Twas fun and festive

By Josh W |

‘‘Twas cool! The middle of the sky bridge is glass and if you’re supper afraid of heights it might not be for you, just don’t look down though hahah

Must do ✔️

By Jason S |

This has the BEST views. Lisa says if you only do 1 thing- do THIS !! The Sky Bridge is adrenalin filled, plenty of shade, fans, and do NOT forget the BAR at top level 🍻. Spend about 2 hours. Cozy and comfortable with rocking chairs and plenty of photo ops. The Tulip tower is very educational at every level. Well worth the money.

One way to see the Smokey Mountains

By Ryan C |

Easy to navigate process for a world class view of the mountains and Gatlinburg. There is plenty to do in Gatlinburg so this is a prime sightseeing mission that everyone needs to experience.

should do if you're only visiting the area once

By Jennifer J |

this is definitely something if you're only going to visit Tennessee Gatlinburg area once you should do! The day we went was so windy. We were not able to walk completely across the sky bridge from our own fear. The view is amazing. There are chairs for sitting and a snack shop with coffee, hot chocolate at the top
There is a gift store with decent gifts in it reasonably priced

Breathtaking Views!

By James B |

After taking the sky lift up the mountain, you can visit the gift shop, grab some food or start walking. Minus the trails (which ive done before), the skybridge was great. Not much swinging but can get alittle scary once you get to the glass floor. Worth doing!

Views of Smoky National Park

By TraveltheWorld |

If you are visiting Gatlinburg, this is a MUST DO experience. We purchased the tickets at the ticket counter. There was a line but it moved quickly. I am scared of heights so I was very nervous while on the lift. When I get scared I just closed my eyes and it worked out just fine. While on the top, we took the bridge and also a little trail. While on the bridge, we saw a mama and baby bobcats below us. It was very cool. I was not scared while on the bridge as it's very sturdy. The view from the top is amazing! We took lots of photos.

Price hike is outrageous.

By Andy P |

Love the skylift but probably won't ever do it again. I went last year and this year both. This year they more than doubled the price from last year. I went up because my dad wanted to do it. I dropped my dad off and went and parked. When I got back he said several people got in line and then saw the price and got out of line. Last year the place was packed, this year there was hardly anybody going up. Doesn't seem like good business practice to me.

Wonder experience!

By Allia H |

This was such a great experience. Yes, it’s a little expensive, but we felt it was worth every penny.

We spent $98 to go up. You ride a lift up (10 min ride). Once you get up, there is a place to buy food, chairs to sit and enjoy the view, cornhole for kids, and an awesome trail to walk. There is also the bridge to cross, that was a glass floor in the middle.

We spent about an hour and a half exploring. We could have stayed even longer, but my kids wanted to go have dinner.

Definitely recommend!

Best Stop On Our Trip

By Terik |

Well worth the money. The ride up was smooth and easy. The ride back had great views. Loved it. The sky bridge was an easy walk (which surprised me). So much fun to cross the glass panels. The tulip tower was educational and amazing views. This is a don’t miss attraction! Be sure and buy tickets online to miss the line.

NYE22

By CoolmomWV |

I don't really want to review this place a 3 because the scenery and mountain top experience was breath taking! The staff was also GREAT! But.... we are from out of town and purchased tickets to the VIP NYE event. I suppose when it said "Limited" and VIP that the theme to the evening would be the same. While the ride up was great and the scenery was spectacular, the NYE VIP was lame. I had called ahead and asked if they had a bar and food -I was told yes. They had 2 beers on tap, like 3 cans of beer and frozen pretzels or snack bags of Doritos . There was no music, entertainment, food, not even a NYE balloon or anything. Staff and building was same per usual as if it wasn't NYE and we didn't pay extra. Perhaps I didn't manage my own expectations, but thought I'd help someone else manage theirs.

Relaxing ride with a view

By JonInIndy |

Basically did the SkyLIft just for something to do. The ride is smooth and gives one a chance to relax. Getting on and off is like getting on a ski lift. The view going up is not much, but coming down gives you a nice view of the town and the Smokey Mountains.

At the top of the SkyLift, you can hop off. The price of the ticket allows you to also walk across the SkyBridge if you want. There are nice views from the top whether you do the SkyBridge or not. Drinks/gifts can be purchased at the top. One has an option of crossing the SkyBridge again or walking down the the area to get back on the SkyLift to go back down.

A nice way to get away from some of the crowd in town for awhile.

Nice views but overpriced

By MelissaClaire93 |

I came to Gatlinburg for a bachelorette and our group decided to check this out. We went at about 10:30am in late August and there was no line to get on the skylift up to the bridge. It is NOT for people with fear of heights. I’m not super scared of heights in general but the chair lift is the only way up the mountain and it was a bit scary. Once you get to the top there’s a trail, a suspension bridge, a gift shop, and a little area to buy drinks and sit and view the mountains. We walked the bridge and trail and hung out for a bit and the views were beautiful no doubt. The bridge has a large area that’s glass bottom and looks down over the mountain. It was neat. That being said it was something like $40 a ticket to get to the top. It’s honestly not worth that much. Yes the views are nice and the bridge was an experience but there are other places to get a view just as good for a lot less. If they cut the price then I would say do it but I don’t think at this price I’d go back or recommend it to any friends.

Loved the sky deck the most

By Moore6Fam |

Really enjoyed our visit. The lift up was very smooth and we felt very safe. They are doing a lot of construction so parts were blocked but we were able to walk around the boardwalk and still experience everything. We went early before it was too crowded which worked out well during spring break! The balcony upstairs was our favorite spot to enjoy a drink and the views!

Beautiful

By Jen C |

It is beautiful but if your afraid of heights I do not recommend it. once you get up there its beautiful and amazing.

Overpriced

By Caitlin M |

Not worth the price of admission. The view was pretty and the bridge was neat for about 10mins. Go to Anakeesta instead. Roughly the same cost, nicer view, and so many other things to do.

My worst Nightmare Gatlinburg Sky Lift Park!

By Lou |

Me and my friends got there early we got tickets and walked to chair lift no line there was one operator, I said to him only two can ride he said no three. It was our first time there I walked over my friends were facing chair lift he yelled for them to turn around and scoot over I tried to get between them the lift was coming fast and I was knocked down. I saw the other chair lifts coming and put my hands over my head. by then, I saw the operator cut the unit off. He was very sweet and kind and come over and ask me if I could get up, I said I don't know. so he went and got help and came back. and helped me get up I was told by the General Manager this happens all the time. There is a walk in clinic down the road, I told them I would like to go to LeConte Medical Center Hospital the Gatlinburg Fire department came and took me, to the hospital I will never forget how they made me feel safe.
My hip was hurting bad big knot (Hematoma) and I could not walk good small cut on my head. It was a very pain full process. I was black and blue and never will forget this day. we are three older not tiny ladies the one in the middle has nothing to grab on to when you have no help. I don't know if, I will ever see Anakeesta after my Learning Experience.

A must !

By April S |

A fun activity to do with your family or on your own!
There is a significant wait to get into the sky lift, but it’s absolutely worth it! On our way up, a bear sauntered out of the woods in front of our lift! What a treat!! When you get to the top, you’ll be ushered to the right to see the photo that was taken on the lift. From there, you can walk around and enjoy food and drinks from the snack bar. (Beer and seltzers sold!) You also have access to the sky bridge!! Amazing views and highly recommended. You can either walk back across the bridge or take the trail back to the lift area. You can count on this activity taking at least two hours of your time when you factor in waiting for the lift.
