Salt water restaurant, if you haven't been, you need to go.....outstanding food, outstanding views, and Fantastic service!!!!

So disappointed. Have stayed there before and enjoyed but this time the pool was a Petri dish, so dirty with scum around the edge and cloudy water. The filtration system was not even turned on. The hot tub was not working. My friends bathroom in her her room was dirty. One star is a reach.

Casino was clean and not overly crowded. I loved that they still had some of the older slots as well as the new ones. I prefer the older ones so I was happy to find them.

Our trip to the Golden Nugget was not a good one as we found very rude employees for no reason and also the slots where a lot higher in price to play compared to the other casinos

The ambiance of this hotel was nice. We ate at Claim Jumpers & the breakfast was delicious & the service was great!!!

Very nice stay, right on the river it had great views and a nice place to walk, we ate at right down stairs at the Babba Gumps restaurant which was handy. They were short staffed at the casino bar, but most places are this year.

Several Great Dining options and good variety and number of slots, but only a few Tables and only the boring games, No Let It Ride or Mississippi Stud , best game is 3 card poker but it was never open when I was there.

Absolutely disgusting. Why can’t anyone clean the carpets or windows? Slots are VERY TIGHT. Good luck getting a drink or adult beverage.... there must be one person employed.

thought the slots were tight. That is the only thing that we did there. But everyone was friendly. Would like to stay there sometime.

While visiting with family in Laughlin, I spent one night at the hotel and a few hours gambling on the casino floor. The rooms are ok, not elegant but comfortable. The machines are tight and thats not unusual for slot machines in this gambling town. They do offer a great selection of restaurants and theres a Starbucks in the casino.

Great hotel and nice views. Nice restaurants and great gambling!! Good entertainment with great rooms!!

The Casino is nice and well lit. The staff was nice at the crap tables and helpful to beginners. We will return.

very warm atmosphere, cash cage staff always friendly, drink service on casino floor pretty prompt & friendly. Could use more staff. Players Club was moved over to cashier cage, so this cut in staff is a Negative, & annoying point.

So we decided to take the family to see the legendary Burros of Oatman, Az. We had a great time in Oatman, then stayed at The Golden Nugget in Laughlin. Very nice place, people very friendly and the Hotel was very nice and clean. We were a bit disappointed with the rooms, bathtubs not very clean. We would recommended for any families staying in the area for a nice weekend.

Fantastic views of the Colorado River and wonderful walking trails along the river to all other casinos and places of interest.

**review for casino floor only**
We specifically visit this casino for their video poker (good service too!) Many casinos in Laughlin are taking to many out and replacing them with more and more of those money sucking no pay/no chance penny machines (just saying! ) Though the video poker section is not as big as we would like it, it is still one of your better choices in Laughlin for video poker. The cocktail service was very good and all the employees we encountered were nice (except for one grumpy bartender).
They have a 24/7 deli by the sports book which is great for a quick bite. This casino is popular and gets very crowded so I would avoid visiting this place on weekends and holidays (unless you don't mind crowds!) The ceilings are low and it can get very warm (and then cold!) in the casino. I wore a short sleeved shirt and carried a light sweater which was perfect.

First visit to Golden Nugget. Didn't win at gambling, but had fun. There were lots of slot machine choices, we felt secure, and a lot of beverage servers approached us often. We will be back.

Sign outside advertises that they'll upgrade your player's card one tier from whichever other players card you present. While this is true, their card has an expiration date of about 6 weeks in the future and the upgrade gets you nothing worth the bother. No discount in the restaurant but you could use your gaming points in there if you have enough of them. We like Video Poker and there are plenty of quarter machines here with just the basic VP games. Very few nickel machines and very very few with the newer multi hand games like Super Times Pay, and the like. Did not find any Super Hand, Double Super Times Pay or Hot Roll or Powerhouse Poker. Seem to have plenty of slots. Didn't check out the denominations on those. The machines we did play weren't paying a thing. A pair was the best either of us got. One of us got $5 free play the other $10 and it was gone in an instant.

I tend to not want to write rave reviews about hotels because then it becomes so popular that we can't get a room or the prices go up but in this case, the time of year we go is usually not too busy so I felt the need to write a review. We have ALWAYS stayed at the Nugget, when you find a place you love, why try something else? We love the river walk and the river view from our room as well as several of the restaurants. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable, not smoky. The choice of restaurants is great. Several years ago when we went we were surprised to find the Claim Jumper had replaced their quaint cafe since they already had the BEST steakhouse on the river, Salt Creek Steakhouse. However, Claim Jumper serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and they are open until midnight on Fri/Sat so you really don't have to go anywhere else to eat unless you want some other type of cuisine. The entrance to the casino is so pretty with the beautiful waterfall and the casino always feels so inviting, as opposed to other dark and dingy casinos. While gambling, they have cocktail hostesses coming around consistently to serve you drinks while you're playing. We are getting ready to celebrate our 34th anniversary and most years we find ourselves coming here to do so since it's reasonably priced and the views just don't get much better for the price. We are booked for a long weekend in February and we can hardly wait - oh, a bonus about Laughlin, you don't have the long line of traffic going home to San Diego as you do from Vegas, not to mention the reasonably priced rooms! #lovethegoldennugget!

This casino/hotel never disappoints. Players card is now linked to Las Vegas nugget. The casino is clean and well organized. Nice mixture of old & new slots.

When we checked into our room it was very warm. We tried to turn down the thermostat but it fell off the wall and wouldn't work. We called the front desk and was told someone would check on it and asked for entry if we were not there. We approved entry. Four + hours later, still not fixed. Called again and someone was finally sent up. The thermostat is portable and is designed to be removed from the wall. The water line, however, had been shut off to the condenser. Seriously?
The ice machine was broken which, although, not a huge deal, just added to the list of unpleasantries.
The next morning, I tried to take a shower. Water was barely luke warm and the tub filled up. I couldn't even complete my shower or it would've flowed over. We got dressed, packed up, made a call and the tub was still draining when we walked out about 40 minutes later!
I nicely expressed my concern to the front desk at check out and barely got an acknowledgement, much less an apology for any inconvenience.
The customer service is appalling! I would never stay there again!

nice views, but we didnt like too many older slots, slow orders for drinks.maybe they are under remodeling?

They had nice slot machines selections. I did go on the black jack table with the tv computer lady. The only drawback is the smoking. Since I have asthma I had to switch machines when a smoker came around me.

A nice modern yet sometimes hip spot on casino drive. Access to a beautiful Riverwalk. The games consisting of your basic (some outdated) slots and keno. Downstairs you'll find a few restaurants one be Bubba Gump.
Not my first choice for a gaming facility but also not my last. definitely worth stopping by.

meal was great service was great, would recommed this resturant any time I have eaten there before as always is good.

Was playing in the Golden Nugget casino and I was playing the same slot for a considerable amount of time. In all that time I saw one drink girl twice, but never close enough to signal her. I even asked a gentleman with a suit and radio for help. He waved like he understood but still no drink girl. Finally I left and went to another casino. Golden Nugget has a very nice casino, but I will not play it again.

The grounds are the cleanest most well maintained on the strip. Very beautiful landscaping. The inside of the casino looked beautiful and well maintained. Whoever is in charge of that deserves a raise because it’s the best looking casino in Laughlin. The only problem I noticed was inside claim jumpers. The big table as you walk in was a huge mess and it was the first thing you saw walking into the restaurant. Food all over the ground around that table and wasn’t cleaned up until our meal was over. Wasn’t busy in there so not sure why they left it like that for over an hour. Other than that the casino looked well maintained.

Since we are snowbirds and stay in Bullhead City, AZ with our RV, we get to all the casinos in Laughlin. We have stayed here, eaten here and gambled here. nice place.

Ate lunch one day at Bubba Gumps. Food was excellent, service was excellent and cost was very reasonable.

Not a memorable experience, we ate at Bubba Gumps, I just expected more. Food was ok-.
Casino was full of older slots, smokey.

We are always in search of a large video poker area and the Golden Nugget STILL has it and is why this will be our go to casino from now on. The extra bonus was the bartenders were really efficient and nice especially John. The cocktail service was good too and all the employees we encountered were nice. The casino was too crowded but it was a Saturday. We stopped at their deli which was a great place to get a quick bite. They have very appealing restaurants too i.e., Bubba Gump, Salt Grass Steakhouse and Claim Jumper. Look forward to returning.

Spent two nights in Laughlin and stayed at two different hotels. The Nugget was nice and well kept. Plenty of parking available on site. Great views of the river on the back side of the hotel. Restaurant has good food at a reasonable price. Plenty of tables available for whatever game you are looking to play.

Really like the eating options, nice clean facility. We always seem to have the best luck here. Like the boxes where you can donate your small tickets. At least the change goes to good causes even if the casino gets the credit.

We visited this casino during our stay in Laughlin. The casino itself was nice, but I did encounter a very rude valet, even though I didn't use the valet service. I was waiting for my husband and was walking around outside, because the weather was beautiful. I walked by the parking garage and the valet came up to me and asked me if I had parked my car there. It was almost in an accusatory tone. I told him that I did not and that I was waiting for my husband and enjoying the fresh air. He gave me a dirty look and walked away. When my husband came out of the casino, he just kept eyeing us, as if we were doing something wrong, even though we were just walking back to our hotel. I know that you have to be safe in this day and age, but I did nothing that warranted that type of behavior. It upset me very much.

Like the machines here, waitresses we no where to be found. Would have stayed longer if we were able to track one down for even water.

This was our first stay at the Golden Nugget in Laughlin. Room was very nice and clean. We had a very short walk to the pool area which is a big plus! Pool area was very nice. We ate down at Bubba Gumps which was very good. Now the one negative. I don't know what was going on with the air conditioning in the casino area but it wasn't working. They had big fans blowing but it wasn't helping. It was 100 plus outside. Management never said anything about the inconvenience.

great restaurants..nice size for a casino. rooms are nice. The night club usually has good music and service through out is generally ok.

Free play available and the machines were paying. Enjoyed watching the NFL game on Sunday. The food offered at the game viewing was okay. Buns with the kielbasi were hard.

Have stay at Golden Nugget Laughlin for over 20 years because of it location and great staff . Last ten years it has gone from a beautiful hotel casino to a run down dirty resort. Sink and bathtub never drain ,pool isn’t monitored large family’s bring in Hugh cooler’s get drunk and act crazy.we stay two times in Aug.first time on Saturday night pool was filled with drunk families, wife and I was in hot tub was one man three women and four young kids adults were all drunk beer cans laying all over place.we didn’t think it could get worse till man pull out one ladies breast and started feeling her up that’s when we left ( where was security or management? This once beautiful resort has turn into a dump! This has nothing to do with Covid it started ten years ago!

We didn't gamble and were here on a stopover so this review only relates to the hotel, the people at the machines looked happy enough.
The hotel doesn't seem to be aging well, and the pool looks much bigger in the photos. The O2 bar next to the pool was closed when we went in mid-September but perhaps we were off-season.
Smoking has been forbidden in the rooms since January 2022 but there were still remnants of the smells in our bedroom, which felt a little musty. Some tiles in the bathroom were coming loose, with sharp bits of grout on the floor to avoid when barefoot.
The air conditioning was so loud that we had to turn it off to be able to sleep, and the remote control for the tv wasn't working.
Because there's not much more to do than go to the local casinos, this place suits seasoned gamblers and less general tourists.

Always go here to play, service always hospitable , ate at Claim Jumpers and everything was great. Will return

Used to visit Joe's frequently. Bubba's doesn't come close. We like Saltgrass. We are local and many of us came for dinner at Joe's. Now our frequent dinners are elsewhere.

We visited each casino in Laughlin and did not find any one paying out better than any other. They were all nice and had a good choice of very diverse dining options. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company while at the Goldne Nugget, and had a very good meal at medium price.

We have been in Las Vegas for 5 weeks and decided to take a short day trip to Laughlin because we had heard the slots were looser than in Vegas. We played for 2 hours and on numerous machines and found it to be just the opposite. We both, after a couple of hours, decided to go back to Vegas to continue our play. It turns out we made up for most of our losses.
We had a good time but will not be back.

This is always our 1st choice. Rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The parking is very easy and a short walk and your ready to check in. The only negative is the boat parking is not as easy. You can park on the roof or across the street for the bigger boats. They do have security but I never trust that. So the part is a bit hard.
Great restaurants. If you like it a bit less crowded this is a great to stay.

My wife and I had a lot of fun at this Casino! We do not play craps but the people at the table were so friendly and they explained everything to us!

Room is clean and you can open the window We did not have a river view but could ss the gardens below. Very quiet, different guests to some of the other casinos. We are going back.

Pretty entry-way to the casino. Clean downstairs, but never stayed there so I don't know about the rooms.

Much smaller than others in the Nugget chain, lots of old style fruit machines upstairs more modern electronic machines downstairs, compact establishment very quiet when we went

Very well done - you walk though a garden area just before the casino which is pretty.
The casino is right on the Colorado river so it's nice to have a wander outside as well.
The waitresses were very attentive always making sure you had refreshments
Generally a good experience

The bartenders/ staff were rude the only thing this casino has going for it is the saltgrass steakhouse. Otherwise skip the casino and eat at the wonderful steakhouse

I've liked the casino for a number of years so was really looking forward to staying at the Nugget. The room was OK and staff were great but the pool area was a dissapointment. The hot tub was not hot, the jets did not work right and one person thought that it was their own personal lounge are where they could smoke and leave their mess all over the place. Made the place feel cheap and dingy.

Worth going for the people watching a good laugh. Good sized casino. Needs a good clean though bring.

Very friendly , clean and comfortable casino , but they still allowing smoking at the casino floors , I noticed there is too many smokers around , lot of wonderful restaurants on site , great price for the room , very helpful and friendly staff .

Wow what a fantastic Dinner sitting out on the Dock of the Colorado River eating shrimp and drinks. Bubba Gump Style

we enjoyed the casino and steak house. our filet minon which was a great price on the early bird menu and the slots were plentiful and varied.

I didn't take any pictures of the filth in the shower, but trust me when I say it was front and center. I had the pleasure of staying the night in this hotel because my husband and I couldn't check into our room. Of course I'm always first to get ready for the day because it takes me a very long time getting ready. Well anyway, when getting into the shower there was other folks hair in the shower. Hair around the sink, and the filth from previous guest still stuck on the wall of the tube and shower. I didn't saying anything about this to my family member because I didn't want to ruin her special weekend. Housekeeping supervisor aren't doing their jobs to the best of their ability. I know Laughlin is and old out dated town, but there never any excuse for unclean Hotel rooms!!! Folks pay a lot of money on their vacation and don't want to sleep, walk on,sit on, or eat on other people filth!!!! Housekeeper always want a tip but don't do the jobs right to get the tip!!! Tips are earned not just giving!!! And they're not intitled to you!!!! A name like the Golden Nugget is famous here in Nevada, but what a difference from The Las Vegas Golden Nugget!!!!!!. I know my cousin paid for a smoking room, but got damn when she walked in her room it seemed like someone just left out the room. Not to mention. That the air-conditioning didn't work the entire weekend!!!! Some guy came to fix it, but he didn't do a great job at it!!!! My cousin and her husband spent their 1st year wedding anniversary in a room that they paid for months in advance with no cool air... the temperature this week was between 100- 1115 degrees so imagaine at night sleeping in a hot stuffy room with no air conditioning......very uncomfortable. I don't think we'll stay in this hotle ever until they make some drastic changes and get up to speed with things. I know this isnt a 24 hour town, so the employee of this hotel don't have to be so rude to us night owls!!!! The employee on the night/ graveyard shift are very rude, slow, tired, and unpleasant!!!

We like the Golden Nugget best in Laughlin, atmosphere was great, the people were very helpful. The decor of the place was very nice and super clean, better than a lot of the other places. Lot of places to eat, and a good variety of slot machines. We had a great time there.

Really nice casino. This has more of a local feel to it, but they really do have a nice casino with a good selection of games. My favorite part of The Golden Nugget in Laughlin is the restaurant. We always go here for lunch and the food and service is always great! I have yet to try the huge slice of chocolate cake, but it is certainly on my list of things to do!! The casino itself is clean and I do see people winning, which is always a plus! I felt like they were on top of keeping things clean during the pandemic, which I think is important. I will keep returning!

Staff is friendly and helpful, casino is nice and has new slots as well as the older machines. The atmosphere is cozy. All the eateries are excellent, do not have to go anywhere to eat you can do it all right here.

We have not stayed here in their rooms but the casino floor area overall is good. Machines and tables are in good shape and staff was nice.

My wife and I went to Laughlin to get away for the weekend and enjoyed our stay at The Golden Nugget. There were several great restaurants on-site that we frequented during our stay. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Have not been there since yesterday (lol)! One of my favorite hotel Casino's in Laughlin. Good restaurants, friendly staff, and nice decor. Not a super large Casino, so you don't feel lost as in other casinos. Stop by the 24K club, and get your players card!

Did not stay at this property, but did enjoy the casino. Very clean with a wide variety of slot machines. Friendly casino staff and very good servers.

Just walked through and played a few games. No luck this time. Was clean and layed out well. Lots of choices.

Nice place, but disappointed the casino only had 4 quarter slot machines to play. Very disappointing, since we like to play them alot.

Golden Nugget in Laughlin is always filled with friendly, helpful staff and they've got some of the more updated slot machines that you'll find in Laughlin.
We've only ever "passed-thru" this casino en route to another destination, and never actually stayed the night, so uncertain of rooms, etc.
If you've already got a Total Rewards card, etc. they will match your existing Tier level with one of their own cards - which was a nice touch!

This is one of the nicest casinos in Laughlin. From the entrance garden to the casino floor, the decor is pleasing.

Dated but still good. It had a claim jumper restaurant in it which was surprising because I thought they had all gone out of business. The saltgrass restaurant was excellent.

I hadnt been to Laughlin in over a year because the casinos on the water tended to be "dated"
so my finacee and i decided to go - and stay "off the water" and re-visit the Golden Nugget
the shopping was good - the staff friendly from the desk clerk to the drink servers..a great time

It is very clean and its kinda like Vegas. We couldn't stay or play because the Childcare on the River is ghetto. But we were able to walk thru there om our way to The Nasty over priced Bubba Gump Shrimp were they treat you like idiots and charge you an arm and a leg.

After an enjoyable dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, located at the Golden Nugget Casino in Laughlin, Nevada decided to spend a few hours at the Casino prior to calling it a night. The Golden Nugget Casino Laughlin which opened in 1967 is located on the banks of the Colorado River. It has several top notched restaurants, a hotel with 300 rooms and 4 suites, numerous meeting rooms and naturally a casino floor (34,023 square feet). A water taxi service is available from the casino to Bullhead City, Arizona situated across the river. Interesting casino with a fascinating history. This 55-year-old establishment has changed ownership and names several times during those 5 1/2 decades, Since the last ownership change, several additions have been added to the establishment. The original them of the casino has been updated to reflect a tropical rainforest motif, new restaurants, and a parking structure are now part of the revitalized Golden Nugget Casino. As we wandered around the casino, noted 855 slots machines with a wide variety of different games, 18 table games, 3 poker tables. Keno, Video poker, and sport betting is available. If your thirsty from playing to hard, several bars are available to quench your thirst. Tried our luck on different slot machines. Won on some and lost on others. Several hours of fun, and we were able to return to the camper with eighteen new “Franklins” in our wallets. If you are visiting Laughlin, there are several casino you can visit for an evening of fun, good food, and entertainment. Golden Nugget Casino is an excellent chose.

Craps table is located at entrance to casino, and has a $3 minimum in the morning, changing to $5 in the afternoon/evening. If you are playing $3 minimum when the change to $5 happens.........they "grandfather" you, allowing you to bet $3 minimum as long as you continue to play. Dealers are friendly. They respond well to a toke if you are winning, and understand no tokes if losing. Weekdays are slow, but when busy it is a fun place to play on their 10 ft. table.

Recently visited Laughlin for the first time in at least a year. Dropped into the Golden Nugget during a walk down the riverwalk - I was impressed! Casino was nice and open, not too smoky, lot of newer slot machines that we like to play. Waitress service stopped by the machine I was playing right away, took my drink order and was quick with the drink - great bloody mary ! Looks like it's been recently upgraded or remodeled since I've visited. I'm going to make this a regular stop during any future visits to Laughlin!

Had fun with the slots and Keno....Would stop by the next time...Nothing to tell except that it was a nice place to stop by

We come to the Golden Nugget each visit just to stand in the foyer where the live plants and palm trees live among the beautiful waterfall feature. Worth coming just to see this and enjoy Bubba Gumps and gamble!

In typical Golden Nugget tradition this place is probably the best casino / hotel in Laughlin. Gaming was fair and drink service quick! The only knock is that air conditioning does not cool all parts of the casino so they have fans everywhere. Cheers!

Service is great! When in casino, there is always a drink girl walking around and keeping* your drinks full!

Only played slots this day and had a lot to choose from. I have my favs, hubby likes to try the new. We were both in slot heaven.

the drinks were great and service was good I just liked the place I enjoyed being there and had fun even if I did not win I liked the decor also

We finally located a 5 cent caveman keno game, see a server going by asked for two beers. She's going by saying I'm dropping off drives. Their wasn't too many people to not forget two beers! We go to the deli to order food. Foot long chili dog and fries. Next hamburger no onions and fries. Paid with debit card. Waiting for 45-50 minutes we decided to cancel and go. Only six people waiting for food! Manager worked register and food was made by cash! Not debit card. What kind of stuff is that!!!!!

If you're in the mood for a trip, Laughlin might be the place for you! Made a quick visit to the Golden Nugget and was very surprised how nice and comfortable it felt. (Just like Vegas). Clean, plenty of restaurants and gambling. Food court let's you look out to the river and see all the sport activity.

The Golden Nugget Casino located in Laughlin, Nv. is a very friendly and desirable place to visit. there are very good resturants and fuin time playing many different kinds of gambling, good choices of machines and tables. There is a large self parking garage available and vala service if needed. Rooms are nice and not expensive, Nice pool!

Again, wide open and pleasant.
Casino offers table and slots, both in a pleasant manner. The dealers as well as the cocktail servers are both friendly and accommodating.

I stayed at the Golden Nugget again for three nights starting April 9th. I got an upgraded river view room that was very nice. It was clean and everything functioned perfectly.
The cleaning staff was friendlier than any I have ever had the chance to interact with at any hotel and they did their job beautifully.
I had to get in touch with security as I had locked myself out of my room one morning and did not have any identification with me. They were extremely helpful and courteous in getting me back into my room and checking my identification once they let me in
I arrived a little early and had to wait an hour or so to check in. The front desk staff was very courteous and efficient.
The next time I decide to go to Laughlin I won't even consider another hotel. A friendly and somewhat quaint hotel with a very helpful staff. The restaurants are also some of the best in town.

Great place to visit for a unique gaming experience. Recently updated with lots of the new large screen slot machines. A few of the older machines remain.
On those very hot summer days the Golden Nugget is very cool with a great water fall at the entrance to the Casino. Very helpful staff.

Slots were good. Ate lunch at restaurant--food was good & hot & priced well. Waitress was very friendly & attentive.

Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Staff was friendly. Room facing courtyard nice. Claim Jumper for meals was always tasty. Always like GN here and Vegas.

Nice entry waterfall. Smaller casino area. Its on the river walk with good restaurants. This is the most Starbucks I have ever been to.

Laughlin is a second tier gaming venue. It does seem to attract a number of retired folks who RV there for the winter. The Golden Nugget is perhaps the nicest of the hotels/casinos in this NV/AZ border location. However, we were only there for the day, and did not visit all of them. Nice views of the river from some sections of the casino as well as the restaurant offerings.

Long check- in lines, only one person working them seemingly at peak times and with mediocre customer service on top of that. The 24-hour bar bartenders ok both the night shift on 4/4/21 and morning shift on 4/5/21 were the rudest human beings ever. They do not acknowledge you AT ALL, and after waiting more than 5 minutes with them “pretending” not to see you and me finally asking if they are serving, I was greeted with attitude as if I was asking each of them for a favor. The other smaller bar bartender (on 4/4/21) was the best and was much more personable. Hotel is very dated, non-smoking room definitely smelt like smoke. The phone at the pool for cocktail service did not work and everyone pretended as of they didn’t know and promised to put in a work order to have it repaired. Overall, I would not recommend, I only gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because of the stellar service I received at the smaller bar when I first arrived. (I really wish I would have gotten his name so that he is recognized). 3 thumbs down.

From our first encounter with the hotel offering free parking we were surprised. Most places charge a fee. Then at reception we were early but they still allowed us to book in. The room was on the second floor and one of the lifts was out of action but the stairs were easy to access. The room was pleasant and clean. The bed was clean and so was the bathroom. All in all the price paid for staying alongside the Colorado River and eating dinner at the Bubba Gumps restaurant was a real bargain. Nothing to fault here. The casino in the house was busy but it did not affect our sleep as we slept really well.
I would definitely come back and stay here. The lights and signs at night looked really beautiful .

Some friends and I recently stayed at the Golden Nugget. The casino was fun and clean, the restaurants were great, my room not so much. The room was clean. The maid did as much as she could. But this room and my friends’ rooms should have been remodeled several years ago. The drains in the sinks were rusty and cracked. The grout on the bathroom floor was cracked and missing some grout. I was shocked the this room would be rented in this condition. Won’t be back until extensive renovation are done.

Casino and wait staff were friendly and talkative with everyone. Loved the waterfall in the front entryway!

I had the most horrific experience at the Golden Nugget in Laughlin Nevada that I’ve ever had in my entire life. I am actually a very nice and forgiving person, but I cannot let this go.. I advise everyone that is deciding to go to the Golden Nugget to reconsider. I can’t even express to you the experience that I had with a bartender named Steve. I can’t even describe it. Believe me or not, that’s OK.

Beautiful Interior , Very nice Casino Freindly wait staff , Very clean resort Over looks the River Excellent

Stayed in Laughlin in July 2017. Did not stay at the Golden Nugget but did gamble there. Went to other casino's and found the Golden Nugget the best for gambling// Slots were very eager to pay and so were the video penny machines. nice place good atmosphere after they got rid of all the gold and brass and lightened up the ceilings.. Recommend The Laughlin golden Nugget to be one of the better paying casino's on the Laughlin Strip. Wife and I will try to get rooms there next time we are in Laughlin... al from Iowa

Very chilly casino. Wear warm clothes. Slots on the tight side. Very friendly staff. Clean casino. Good restaurants in casino but very pricey.

If your going to Laughlin - i suggest to stay here or Harrahs... the are best two resorts on the River. The Golden Nugget is more of a boutique kind of Hotel/Casino - which is a cool place to stay and play and walking distance to Harrahs.

A very clean casino with plenty of slots in different denominations. A friendly environment and nice wide aisles too.

An updated Casino with great restaurants, and atmosphere. The Karaoke was awesome plus nice gift shop.

It seemed that Golden Nugget was one of the better casinos in Laughlin. It had some interesting games, and several good places to eat (Salt Grass, Claim Jumper and Bubba Gump). Defintely go here when in Laughlin.

My wife and I visited. Very nice casino. The staff were professional and polite. The casino pit has all the popular table games. They have both older and new slot machines. Very good dining options. They have several bars. Very nice Sports Book. I will return on my next visit to Laughlin.

Just visited the casino for about an hour, but it had a beautiful entry and great restaurant choices.

We always stop in here to play and usually hit the slots pretty well, The casino is quite large and has a good variety of slot machines in all denominations, The cocktail service is a bit slow but you usually get your ordered drink. bathrooms are not too convienent but are clean and well maintained. Parking is good.

We spent some time at this casino because we where waiting on our room to get ready at another casino. We played some blackjack and the dealer was just so bad. She had a very bad attitude and only spoke to my boyfriend about the game instead of talking directly to me (She wanted to explain one of the rules to me). She was overall rude. Sorry to say.

This hotel is smaller than most of the Laughlin hotels. It is located right at the edge of the Colorado River. Moderately priced for a nice hotel.

Did not stay in the hotel this time but the casino was clean, up to date, and we won. So this was a good place to go and have fun. Oh, we ate at Claim jumpers and would not recommend it, food was poor and overpriced.

I truly loved the hotel, we went clubbing didn't stay at this hotel but club very nice. Even the main floor very attractive setting.

This is a nice, clean casino. There are a lot of different gaming options. Service is good. It has games that you can play for a long time without losing your shirt.

Beautiful casino and views of the Colorado River! Plenty of machines. Clean place and friendly, helpful staff.

Golden Nugget has $3 Roulette with dollar chips. My wife and I sat down and played for a while. We prefer 25 cent slot machines with 3 mechanical reels. Golden Nugget has some of these machines in an area that isn't too crowded. The slots had operational levers. Which means I'll play them for a while. I hate casinos that lock the arms on slot machines. Why have the arm on the slot machine and then lock them down so they don't work? I gave the Golden Nugget a 4 star rating, but I think I'm being generous. It's not one of our preferred casinos. It has low ceilings and feels crowded. It's quite a walk from the Colorado Belle to get to the Golden Nugget. Average might be a better rating. I'm sticking with the 4 star rating because it's obvious that the Golden Nugget is trying hard to provide a good gambling experience. It helped that my wife won $30 playing a Double Diamond slot machine. I won $23 on a similar machine.

Love the Golden Nuggett! Rooms are nice soft towels and the slots are really nice there. And they have $5.00 tables and craps

We came to Laughlin from Kingman for a half day if walking around, drinking, gambling, and dinner. Out of all the casinos we stoped at, the Golden Nugget was our favorite. They have a lot of the penny slots that my wife likes and plenty of higher wage slots for me. Smoky as all the casinos were, plenty of parking.

We eat at Bubba Gump. The food was good. Did not win anything at this casino but would stay there it seems like a nice place to stay.

Very pleased with this hotel! We reserved a patio room on the first floor facing the pool and the river, and it was worth the extra $20 or so per night for the upgrade. Nice to be able to sit outside and relax with a beverage on our little patio. Easy walk to the casino and good restaurants from our room, everything was very clean, room was comfortable and the all the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking spaces were plentiful in the garage, and it was conveniently close to the registration desk. Only one small complaint - our a/c unit's fan was stuck on high, and was noisy at night. We called for maintenance the next day, and although the tech showed up fairly promptly, and he did try several things, he really couldn't rectify the problem. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay, and would definitely recommend this hotel. When we return to Laughlin, it will be to the Golden Nugget.

It's a nice casino .....smoke is here if that bothers you.....over Thanksgiving weekend they did a "hot seat" promo every fifteen minutes Saturday afternoon, I was chosen and received $200 bucks free slot play which was great. We'll return.

On the Colorado river - scenic view Well since I have to have 100 minimum - not sure what to add - We have lovely food in the restaurant - and the scenery was wonderful.

We did not stay here. Our review is solely based on our recent stop at the casino and steak house.
We really enjoyed our time here. Very friendly staff especially at the casino "Player's" desk, Nice views of the river and many dining options.

BEWARE when booking a hotel reservation with this property using their direct, not third party, website! I made a hotel reservation 8 months ago for a concert that will take place in September, YES, EIGHT MONTHS ahead of time because I’m thorough and plan properly and this casino sends me an email yesterday evening that “per my request” my reservations were canceled! First and foremost, the audacity to send me an email blatantly lying that “per my request” I cancelled a reservation that was/is 100% confirmed (I will reiterate 8 MONTHS AGO) in which I have receipts, confirmation emails, etc. that my “reservation is confirmed” and mind you I did not cancel them!!! I immediately called the property and then the games, attitudes, lack of professionalism, lack of accountability and down right poor management and lack of integrity began…. I was told on the first of many calls and hours on the phone that it was the front desk that cancelled it because they didn’t have my credit card on file, then told me there was no manger on duty to call back in the morning, which I did and then was told they were too busy it was there “rush hour,” it’s Laughlin at 0700L on a Tuesday, excuse me your slammed!! I was told to call back in 15-20 minutes in order to speak with a manager, which I did and she came into the conversation guns a blazing, full attitude, and this is after I emailed them my confirmation receipt, was trying to fully understand how you can without any warning unduly cancel a reservation and now I am not able to book a room because the property on that weekend is fully booked, which is why I booked it 8 MONTHS AGO!! The manager doubled-down that they didn’t have my card on file and there was nothing she could do and offered to comp me 2 days “just not that weekend” I don’t want your 2-days, I want my room on the weekend I intended to book/stay! She then came back and said she can rebook me under that same confirmation reservation if I give her my credit card, which I did, she charged me an advance fee of $111, sent me a new confirmation email and then 30 minutes later the same woman calls me back and states she has to cancel this reservation she literally reinstated and took my money because they are “fully booked” and can’t get us in??!!! So, now they have charged my card for $111 and cancelled again the reservation that should have never been cancelled and then have the audacity to tell me it will take 5-7 business days for them to refund my money!!! My husband and I have spent A LOT of money over the last 30 yrs at this specific property and I have NEVER been more disappointed, ANGRY, disrespected and down right pissed! They have lost our business and I rebooked at the Tropicana (a Ceasars Entertainment property) where they know the hospitality and gaming business not Landry’s who deals with the food industry! SHAMEFUL Business Behavior!

What can I say it's a casino, smoky loud and dark.
Has lots of covered parking. It is owned by the Landrys group so has a Bubba Humps, Salt Grass steakhouse and a Claim Jumper.
All 3 have great views of the river.

I loved this casino and it was fun to gamble in! I had great luck at their roulette table and won quickly and often

This casino has some older slot machines, but may very new ones. They have a nice Sportsbook and very good dining options. They offer keno and the staff are very friendly. Gold Diggers Lounge is a great place to watch sports or live bands. Free parking. I added photos of my visit. I will return.

Very few table options. Atmosphere inside felt like I was in a backwoods illegal casino. Valet parking took forever.

Offered the best dance music in the area. The Nugget has the largest variety of video machines in the area.

I just left the Nugget earlier. They have been going through changes, but overall it is a great atmosphere. Smaller Casino in size. Has great restaurants: Saltgrass Steak House, across from Bubba Gumps on the lower level. Claim Jumper restaurant opens I believe 6 am to about 11 pm, on your left when you walk past the entrance. Deli is open, about 20 hours from 10 am to 6 am. The staff at the nugget are friendly and knowledgeable, but if you don't win, it's not their fault! I have to say this because I am a Casino player and have been for almost 50 years-If you go into any Casino in Laughlin, Las Vegas, etc., and expect to win major money-Don't go! Casinos were not built on players winning! That doesn't mean you can't win, it just means don't go trying to win rent or Christmas money, you're already behind. Go to enjoy yourself, set limits, and stick to it!

We have visited the Golden Negget in Laughlin many times over the 20 years of our travel there and it never changes...a nice thing. Very low-key place, comfortable. Wish they were associated with a larger casino chain so we could earn points (not their program) but that might be why it's so low-key.

We didn’t spend a lot of time here, but walked around the casino a little and didn’t see much that caught our eye. They have some new games but not as much video poker as we would’ve liked. Place looked nice and clean and welcoming.

We had a blast in the casino. Staff was amazing on the floor and while the slots were not totally in our favor, we had a great time.

One of about 10 or 12 casinos in Laughlin. Played a few slots but didn't win. Did not eat at any of the restaurants there. Has very nice main entry .

I stopped in to check out the casino. I received $5 of free play when enrolling in their rewards program. They had a good variety of slot machines and I had big wins on almost every machine I played. I left with a wallet full of cash! It was a lot of fun and the drink service was very good.

They don't have many rooms, so they cost a little more and sell out very quickly. If you can find a deal within 15-20% of other hotels on strip, probably worth it. Best comp program for sure.

When I return, this is where I will stay next as it is centrally located right in the middle of all the casino's and easy walking distance to all of them. Great entrance and great restaurants like Bubba Gump's, Claim Jumper and Saltgrass Steakhouse.

The most dated machines I have ever seen! They get all hand me downs from Nugget in Vegas and it shows. You do not win a dime here trust me! Go to Aquarius where they actually pay out and are not offended to bring you a drink as some of most of the servers were at the Nugget. Yes I tip well and they were the rudest I had ever encountered. Management needs to have a sit down with them teach them to smile and be polite at the very least.

The Golden Nugget in Laughlin is a great place to stay and play when visiting Nevada! Join the 24K Select Club and enjoy membership perks, like free play and free stays!! PET FRIENDLY too!! Very nice comfy room. Casino was fun and Claim Jumper was right inside hotel next to casino. The price is so low Sun thru Thurs, its a great deal.

Rooms are clean. We were offered to pass up the housekeeping for food credits. We got a MEASLY $5 to pass up the housekeeping for the trip of 3 days in length! We could call each day for towels and our 2 allotted Keurig coffee pods without additional charge. There web site says you can buy more at the shops - but no, you can only buy them from the front desk for $1.50 each! There is not a decent cup of coffee in this town anyway - BRING YOUR OWN!

The hotel was great, rooms are clean, actually the whole hotel is kept very clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

We had a river view room with a great view. The entire staff was helpful and friendly.
We just came from Vegas staying in the Delano and wanted some place more laid back. This worked out great. Valet was quick and easy, the check-in was fast, liked our room.
The Bubba Grump Shrimp Co restaurant was nice with seating on the river. Service was slow, but didn't mind waiting looking at the river and visiting with other guests. Ate there twice on our 2 day stay. Looking forward to another visit.
The only downside was it was very smokey in the casino area. Probably because of the low ceiling. The hotel loby and rooms were all smoke free.
We will be back.

I like the Golden Nugget the best of all Casinos in Laughlin, NV. Of course it could be I won within a couple spins on the slots all night there. It was amazing! Good food at the buffet! Fun times!

Drove here for a day trip from Las Vegas as we have done before....never again! NEVER...On one of the hottest days of the season the AC was out!!! NO AC!!! Stifling and with a mask couldn't wait to get out! The staff is unhappy and the drink girl told us there has been no air and it is always hot! Very little action on the casino floor and no one winning...just sweat dripipng off of everyone!

I did not eat this time around at any of the restaurants as i only went to gamble there. I ate at another place in Laughlin. It was a good gambling experience and i had fun. Good view of the river when you want it and I had indulged with a Starbucks coffee in the downstairs area. Godo view of River dock.

Won absolutely nothing at this casino. Won't be going back anytime soon. Bubba Gump Shrimp Company was excellent.

Checking out Casino been to Missippi and Vegas Nugget so just seeing what they need more beverage ser

Great casino with 3 fine restaurants and always the latest in slot machines. Plenty of parking in their attached garage. Great drink service. Odd fact is only one restroom up and only one down:) Never the less a swell place to stay, ,eat, and play.

We went into the Golden Nugget and found out they have a Bubba Gumps there. We had the coconut shrimp and also the shrimp scampi and it was excellent.

We did not stay in the hotel but had fun in the casino and especially had a blast watching football in the Golddigger's lounge. Great bartender and waitress and atmosphere.

I have spent time in every casino in Laughlin and the Nugget is in the top 3. I don't rate anyone of them as the best, but it can hold it's own. Has everything someone could be looking for in a hotel-casino. All the employees have been pleasant to interact with. The restaurants are some of the best on the Laughlin strip with terrific happy-hour deals. There is live music at different times, with dancing in the lounge. Casino has all the games and isn't too smoky. The sports book is comfortable to sit in and watch some games. The Nugget is convenient and clean.

We from los vegas so we go to the golden nugget here. But when in Laughlin we enjoy it even more. The view when u first walk in is great for taking pictures. Lobe the golden nugget in Laughlin

First time there, very nice. Needs some upgrades but other than that it was very nice. I would stay there.

Entrance decorated very well for the holiday season. Large non smoking section for gaming. Friendly feel and busy on a Saturday night.

A very nice casino. It's definitely a nice feel here. the atmosphere is great. A decent amount of machines and it wasn't too smoky. Plenty of parking.

Not as nice as it was in the 80’s but still in the top 5 in Laughlin. Place is clean and friendly. Cocktails were slow in coming Machines were super tight not a lot of action for Friday and Saturday nights but I always spend some time there when in town

It is an older hotel / casino but had a good variety of gaming available. We did okay here. Thank you.

We stopped on our casino hopping Tour. Fun games and attendants very helpful. Had a game that I played for a long time, fun.

We ate once at the Golden Nugget (evening meal). The chicken pot pie was excellent, we still mention it when we're hungry. Everything on the menu here looked great.

Terrible experience at the Golden Nugget been going here for years rooms are very outdated dirty moldy my wife suffered an allergy attack in the room because of the dust told the front desk they acted like it was nothing will not be going back to the gold nugget ever again

The Golden Nugget was a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms although not huge they were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the casino because it was not sensory overload with lots of lights or sounds but just enough energy in the air to make it fun.

This is a very classy casino for Laughlin. Very good choices of old and new slot machines. Full casino pit and great restaurant options. The staff are very friendly. I will return. I added photos of my visit.

I always check out the Golden Nugget anywhere I travel! This one was older, but had a variety of slots and was a lot of fun! Eat at their SaltGrass Steakhouse before you leave!!! A++++

We enjoyed this casino and has some good places to eat, we enjoyed our food and scenery from Bubba Gump's restaurant.

Could use some remodelling and updating of slots but not a bad place to spend some time when walking the strip and of course forrest gumps restaurant

We stayed for one night in a deluxe suite. It was horrible. We paid for a river view and got a view of the buildings courtyard. I was too tired to switch rooms or deal with the front desk after a long, hot drive.
The beds were okay but the pillows are really bad, they only give you three and what little sleep I got was not good. I woke up with a sore neck. Neither of us slept well.
Their rooms are not very clean. They are old and outdated, which is okay for Laughlin since it's near the river. Not enough towels and not enough pillows.
The Air conditioner did not work - it was stuck on 65. We called maintenance and he didn't know how to fix it, so he turned it off.
We ate at their steak house. The waitress wasn't friendly but the food was not bad. It was decent. In the morning, we at at Claim Jumper and that waitress was down right rude.
The people at check in seemed hurried and were not friendly. The only friendly person that worked there was the nice lady who works at the little store next to check in. She was a joy!
All in all, not a good stay and we're never staying there again.

Nice Decor and gift shop! Average slots. Fast food average. Very busy.
Drink servers quick and polite ( not like some other casinos).

We did not stay at this hotel but we Sure will in our next visit to Laughlin. The customer service in the restaurants, bars and on the casino floor was outstanding. The management has really trained their staff on what customer is and how you meet and greet hotel and casino guests. Brittany in the Saltgrass Steak House house and Mary in the Claim Jumper restaurant for breakfast were awesome. Thank you for the excellent service. I

There seem to be quite a few winner at the machines.I won on one of the biffa;lo machines. There were several people around us that had won.

Not LQBQT friendly. Front desk calls me a man even though its clear that I am a woman (fem/lip stick lesbian) and staying in king room(one bed) with a woman. Really disrespectful, not even an apology. Had high hopes for this place. Sad to know they are disrespectful towards people who are not like them.

Just a walk about. Played a little on the slots, loses a little win a little. A very clean game floor, and i would say up to date slots. I intend to visit again ,next mount.

Terrific Casino, beautiful Entrance, Slot Maschines were fun to play, not too tight, friendly staff & service!

There was a great number slots, and beautiful view of the entrance from the Claim Jumper restaurant. Lower level had restrooms, a Starbucks and Bubba Gumps restaurant.

My favorite casino on the river. They must "pipe in" an aroma that makes it smell go good. The music they play is from my era and the slots were being friendly. I especially like their small gift shop located past the waterfall area. Another excellent restaurant is the Salt Grass steak house located downstairs which has the best steaks in town... mouth-watering. Go, you will not regret it.

Nice and neat place as always. Drink service on floor was excellent.
Renewed my membership for great perks

If your walking along the riverwalk this is a must drop in casino. The staff was friendly and the place is very clean with lots of gaming activities.

Compared to the other casinos this one suited us as it was less smoky and quieter than others in the area even on Friday /Saturday when laughlin is mobbed with weekenders .The slots were kept clean and seemed to me to pay out better than average .No buffet at this casino

Great casino lots of fun great selection of games. We played crap table and had a ball. We won all 5 nights started with 1500.00 and left after 5 full days and nights of casinos and had 2300.00 that's a good vacation😊

Casino was nice. It was very quiet, not many people there the night we went. Workers we nice and friendly.

The disabled spaces are rented by vendors for river run. No wheelchair access. So few spaces in the parking garage.

We felt the Laughlin casino scene as a whole was dated visually. Carpets, wall decor, etc seemed old. All of the casinos we entered had a mix of up to date and pretty old slots. Golden Nugget seemed a step ahead of its competitors. Machines were spaced out and there was a smoke free area.

Nice place, with good mix of slots machines. They have a GREAT Steak restaurant here as well, and a Bubba Gump right on the water. A nice stop along the riverwalk.

1) Old dated property
2) Dirty and smelly
3) Bad service
4) Smelly room
5) Bad air conditioning
6) Bad plumbing
7) Will not go back
8) Laughlin is a ghost town
9) Bad experience

This is a small chain of excellent deli type sandwiches. We visit one in LasVegas. You can't find them every where so this was a must. We like the "Bobbie" turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce...but all are good. Not real impressed with the Golden Nugget.

Room was a little out dated but the beds were comfortable. Location is easy to get to but away from other attractions. You do have the option of the water taxi but it stops around 10 pm.

One of the better casinos in Laughlin. Nothing spectacular but they know how to treat customers. Decent slot and video poker selection. Good dining choices too. A solid place to play.

Did what you may ask? For the third year in a row, I have hit a royal flush while on vacation in Nevada. Never in Vegas but in out of the way places like Tahoe, Ely, and now Laughlin. We always get players card to any casino we go to. When signing up for the Golden Nugget card, we were given the chance to spin a wheel to see how much free credit we got for being new members. My wife and I each got $5, no surprise there. She headed off to her penny slots that make a lot of noise and not much else and I headed over to video poker machine. I always start off with jacks or better to see how it goes. 1st hand, lose. 2nd hand, win, two pair, I'm even again. 3rd hand, dealt 4 to a royal. Hold the 4 cards and bingo! it dealt me the queen I needed. Needless to say our weeks gambling was funded mostly by my fortuitous luck. I took 4 more 4 of a kinds out of that machine and then my luck was up and down for the week. Sure saved numerous trips to the ATM for our 5 day stay.

I stayed at Harrahs but came over to eat lunch at Bubba Gump and wish I would have stayed at the Nugget. It had better machines and a way better atmosphere. If I come back I'm definitely staying here. Loved Bubba Gumps!!!

We stayed 3 nights. Stayed on the first floor with a pool view. The room was nice. No safe in room and dead bolt didn’t work. Our key was hit or miss. We put the occupied sign on the door not wanting to be bothered. Day 2 a man tapped on door and walked right in. We were in bed. He said he had TP for us.. The room next door had a barking dog. Non stop unless it’s owner was in the room. The bathroom has no fan so everything stays moist. Pool drinks were expensive and didn’t even have a full shot in them. River walk was fun the bugs were out of control. The housekeeper was friendly and supplied us with towels and coffee when we asked.

I traveled to and stayed at Harrah's, but I took the river taxi to the Golden Nugget because the machines in Harrah's let's just say, were tight... I was pleasantly surprised by the number of slots in the Golden Nugget, in particular, the video poker machines. And they pay!!! A good visit at the Golden Nugget.
Wish I was in their rewards program...

Not fun if you want to gamble some. Slots were very tight. Not as friendly as Harrah's but nice casino. Wish we could have had some fun there but it was not happening.

The Golden Nugget was the only place we got any gambling time for our money. Still did not leave winners but had fun and were able to play longer than other casinos. Good selection of machines and friendly dealers.

Drinks were offered almost immediately, servers so friendly. Many slot machines,,heard several customers yelling happily, obviously winning. I wasn't lucky but still had a great time.

My husband and I loved it!
Beautiful place and friendly!
Not too crowded. This was our first time to Laughlin!

The Golden Nugget is a great place to stay, friendly atmosphere , great dining experiences with these restaurants: Claim Jumpers, Bubba Gump's, Saltgrass Steakhouse; they have a wonderful Deli by Sportsbook. They also have areas for Banquets and wedding receptions such as in Gold Diggers and the Gold Room.

Nice place a lot of different machines, drink servers were very friendly and fast with serving the drinks.

We were in town for the Chicago show at Harrah's. We decided to eat at Bubba Gump's. The Nugget was pretty and the outside dining area was nice. Bubba's food.... meh...
The bugs were annoying outside. Obviously they cannot do anything about that. My in-laws ordered the popcorn shrimp appetizer and it had fried banana peppers mixed in with a few shrimps. Meh....
My wife had the scampi.... meh... not much flavor. Shrimp was fresh though! Okay, enough "meh"
I had the crab-stuffed shrimp- it didn't blow my mind either. I think they're sitting on a gold mine there, but the recipes seemed dull and boring. I don't know if it's the chain or an off night for the kitchen.
I tried a New Orleans style shrimp off Dad's plate. Found a bit of flavor there, but again, not earth shattering.
We will go back there, especially for drinks and the scenery. Next time I will anticipate less, and maybe I'll be more impressed.

Had a very nice four day stay at the hotel. Room was clean and we were prepared to do without housekeeping so all was well. You can get fresh towels with just a phone call. We had a nice view overlooking the courtyard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Loved having two chairs to read and relax in between trips to the casino . Our only little hiccup occurred at the pool. We were the only people on the deck and in the pool but we were told to put masks on by a guy coming through the area. Keep in mind there was no one else there at all. Every hotel pool we have visited allows no mask if no one is within six feet or in the water but this gentleman said it was mandated to put on our masks. We complied but thought this was a little over the top. All in all were enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to return.

We were only going to be there one night, but the rooms at the Rio in Vegas were so bad we left after the first night and spent two nights in Laughlin.
Rooms are nicer than several others in the area. They have Kuerig coffee machines in the rooms. And we like like the Saltgrass, Claimjumper, and Bubba Gumps restaurants on the property.
Only drawback is the Casino is old and rather small.
Hotel and casino staff are great.

Nice, clean casino with affordable table games. They also had a nice combination of old and new slot machines. Pleasant staff.

Casino is great.go to Laughlin at least once a month. Other casinos give better deals on rooms so have never stayed here. Looks very clean and nice. Everyone always nice. Maybe one dAy will stay here

Be careful while you do your check in. I already paid my room for one night on the hotel.com website when I’ve made my booking. I was supposed to pay 14,99 at the golden nugget plus 50$ for the deposit. The lady at the desk charged me about 83,72$.
When I asked why, she told me that my original payment had been declined. I show her the amount charged by hotel.com on my credit card and she told me « that’s not golden nugget ». Finally, another guy told me that they just made a mistake and this amount was the resort took twice. He ensure that the refund would be done with the deposit.
During the stay, the elevator was out of order all week-end long, with any sort of compensation (stairs were the only solution).
When we did the check out, the same lady tried again to charge me twice 14,99.
I had to speak loud to be respected and have the correct refund. For now I have only a correct bill. I’m waiting for the refund.
I had another reservation in September at the golden nugget. I already cancelled it

Nice place, love the Claim
Nice place, love the Claim Jumper resturant, just a short water taxi ride from Harrahs.
jumper resturant

Have never stayed here but this is a casino we always visit. Great selection of slots and video poker. Drink service is also pretty good.

We were visiting in the Laughlin area and met up with a client at the Golden Nugget for lunch. They remembered a coffee shop there, but when we arrived it had been turned into a Claim Jumper's restaurant. We all enjoyed our meal there as they have a large menu with many choices.

Had dinner and gambling - very clean, very attentive staff, valet parking- no smoke smell- felt very comfortable gambling there and will go again!

We haven't stayed there yet, but after eating at the Salt Grass Restaurant, We walked around the casino area and played Blackjack for awhile. We talked to several different people who were staying there and had really said nice things about the hotel.
All the people we dealt with were courteous and professional. The lobby and entrance are beautiful. We will try to stay there ou next trip.

We stayed Nov 8 for a 1 night stay for 4 rooms. Our first time and it’s over if the worst stay and front desk feels like they don’t belong or work there. All our rooms are disgusting and need an overall makeover or renovation. What we don’t understand for just a basic things in the room. The soap dish rusted like thick rotten black and brown, shower head rusted and so gross, sink rusted and cracked, floor tiles grout coming off and moving, dusty everywhere. We don’t feel to sleep at that night. We stopped at the front desk and showed a video images. She apologized and handed us a business card to email. What the heck and not even offering a compensation. From room attendant, to supervisor, managers, or executive team. I don’t understand why allowing to sell or released those types of room. Our rate is under $40 plus resort fee. It’s not even worth to pay for that rate even if it’s complimentary. I won’t be back unless renovation completed. Wake up Management!

Somewhat crowded and Smokey casino. Food was good, prices average for Laughlin area. Loved their walkway entrance with the tropical plants. Room was kinda noisy for being on the first floor. Overall o.k.

Stayed here several times, clean, great places to eat, claim jumpers, salt grass n bubba grumps, all types of budgets, I like one level resort
Pool n hot tub wer great, a couple mallard ducks wer enjoying the pool with us
Really like GN

Awesome dog friendly hotel. Open grass area off the room for easy access to take dog out. Clean nice room comfy bed service good everywhere. The casino had plenty of machines we never felt need to leave. Highly recommend this will be our go to in Laughlin!

really enjoyed playing the slots here. The slots seemed looser than other casinos we visited. Loved the entrance area with indoor waterfall and palm trees.

Took the River Taxi the Golden Nugget
Casino and being a big fan of Golden Nugget in Las Vegas was looking forward to a fun time in Laughlin, what a disappointment on entering the casino,
Very dark and only a few tables open for gambling in the afternoon, was told that more tables would open up at 6:00 however the selection was going to be very limited. We left quickly.

The nugget seems to be one of the nicer places to visit, play was good, although some seemed a little smoky. seemed to have a few good restaurants

Just a different look at a different casino. Just to go somewhere different for a change. It was fun.

By far the best to go eat and enjoy clean clean place everyone was Nice that worked here you ask for a drink and BAM it was in your hands just like that if you go you will like it food was great too

Super hotel / casino, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
Rooms are a good size , the beds were comfortable and we always felt safe in the area.
We hope to be back and use the beach on the Colorado River !!

We always stop here and go to Bubba Gumps for lunch. It is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We do go into the casino and walk around it is very nice.

Enjoyed the Golden Nugget, especially the Claim Jumper restaurant. We will certainly be back when we are in Laughlin again

Great place, very nice inside. Great Food choices. very friendly staff. I would stay at the golden Nugget.

A smaller cozy hotel with great people. Clean and well taken care of. The casino is very comfortable with even a safe late night early morning atmosphere. I enjoy the piped in music which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful.

Best hotel in Laughlin, hands down.....our room was a bit smelly when we first got into it but they took care of us right away...

My son and I stayed at the Gold Nugget Casino and Hotel in Laughlin a week before Christmas(2018). Here is why I give this hotel a terrible rating:
1- plumbing was dripping and noisy
2- air conditioning/heating unit controls were broken
3- the bed I was going to sleep in had a live bed bug crawl from under the covers as I was getting ready for bed. Needless to say I slept in my clothes on top of the covers and not in them. As I inspected the sheets, I noticed two more bugs that had been smashed into the bottom sheet (dead).
I will never stay at the Gold Nugget again. There is no excuse for this.

Not that elegant but plenty of fun hot games paying .Did not like the low ceilings but beautiful court yard and river deck area.

If you want to play a specific slot machine, I'm pretty sure it's some where in this casino. While the casino is a bit dark, the air was fresh.

This place has it all about any kind of game you can think of & great food. Prices are not bad. Like all the other casinos drinks are free if you gamble. They will even drinks to you at all the places. Tip about 1.00 per drink is fair.

NO walking thru smoke to check in, Our room was clean, we loved the complimentary coffee and water for our wake up the next morning too.The bed was so comfortable, the colorfully towels and fresh linens were a nice touch. Staff was helpful, slow check in but so worth it. Yes, we will be back!

4 days with the wife and friends. Had a great time at the Golden Nugget and Pink Limo Tours! Want to go again soon!

They have a wonderful restaurant that was recommended to us. So we had to try it. I had the Salmon topped with Crabment it was great.

Just a visit to gamble of course no machines were paying as usual, waitress service for bar service a little more attentitive

This is a great casino. Employees are very nice and helpful. The casino is very clean. We felt very comfortable here.

The Golden Nugget in Laughlin is still a favorite for our visit to Laughlin to eat at their great Restaurants like the Salt Grass Steakhouse and Bubba Shrimp and we enjoy the atmosphere and gaming floor. We have always had a pleasant time there. They do have nicely appointed rooms, clean, and overall a good value in Laughlin.

We did not stay here but took the water taxi here for lunch one day. Water taxi is 5 dollars per person each way. Lunch was very good except the ice tea machine was not working properly. Ended up that my wife got her ice tea for free.

Great food and great gambling. Parking is easy. Less walking. Lots of slots not found anywhere else.

Seem to keep casino up more than some and pleasant atmosphere. Gaming seems better than some on the row.

Their prices are reasonable. Rooms are very clean and modern. The casino is very nice. Dealers are very friendly. Not all tables are open during the week. They open all tables on the weekend. Air is very pleasant although you do pick up a little smoke smell every now and them.

The entrance is beautiful and great for a group photo! The Brunch Buffet has made-to-order omelets, pancakes, waffles, all breakfast meats, biscuits & sausage gravy, salad, fried chicken, so many desserts, Champagne, EVERYTHING TASTES AMAZING and it’s all included! The servers are so friendly, the staff is both friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Love this place!

We wanted to experience the different casinos while in town and truly enjoyed playing here. The games were fresh and new with plenty to please any casino enthusiast. The staff was friendly and attentive as needed.

The casino was so clean and updated. Very romantic. There are a lot of slot machines and everything was in great working order.

Clean, wide open and friendly.
This casino does offer several types of table games as well as numerous types of slot machines.

We stopped in and had a blast. The blackjack dealers (David, Michael and Michael) made us laugh so the loss of money wasn't so bad. They are one of the few places that still pay 3:2 instead of 6:5 on blackjack!

this casino has a lot to offer -most of all they a Penguin game that I love to play but it is hard to find --- there were plenty of slots to play and several places to eat --if I go back to Laughlin I will try to stay here

We stayed at the Golden Nugget and loved it. The pool area is small but very personal. It is clean, overlooks the river, and is easy access. A security officer regularly walks through which makes you very comfortable. The casino is small but great to play in.

Nice old hotel with a gold rush feeling.
Buba Gump restaurant on the river with a very nice view.
The front desk ladies are super nice and professional just ask for help.
I like their face mask policy nicely and discreet enforced.
The pool is open but the water need to be better cleaned

The casino is well maintained and has a nice variety of both gambling options and food selections. The entry has an impressive jungle feature.

Place was very nice. Had fun. Will go to gamble, but needs poker for hubby. We will see what hapoens next time.

Good food options are available at the Golden Nugget. Check out the Claim Jumper and share their huge delicious chocolate cake. Definitely a sharing desert, feeds a family or 4 - 6 people.

Comfortable palace to stay, very green and wonderful scenery. Good and friendly staff... Fair prices. One problem; I never win crap when I gamble there....

Rooms are clean, fair size, quite, comfortable bed. The view was not great, our room overlooked the top of the building, not much to see. The casino floor was clean with a good number of slot machines, etc. The entrance was clean and very attractive.

So my review is a bit bias, as I won a good sized jackpot! Because I won, I got the privilege of dealing with a couple of the security workers and they were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs especially when they get to pay a jackpot out. They told me that is the best part of their job. The casino had a good selection of machines, and it seemed bonuses were coming up regularly even if people weren’t winning a lot. With bonuses at least you can play for a while. Good drink service on the floor as well.

We went to update our card from the players club and encountered THE rudest customer service representative ever put on the planet. We gave her our ID and she asked for our physical address (which was on our ID) and we told her no, not to use the physical address but to use the PO box. She proceeded to tell us NO I NEED the physical address and we shook our heads no. She said she needed the physical address or she couldn't process it. What is weird all that information was already ini the system ALL we wanted was a new card. so we said that if we had to get our physical address we wouldn't update the card. I told the hubby to take his ID back. She said it's against the law to reach over the counter and told me not to be so rude so we had a "discussion" of who was rude. in the end she YELLED HAVE A VERY NICE DAY and pounded on her keyboard. We go to Laughlin often and will NEVER go into the Golden Nuggest again.

I would not recommend this place, twice asked for a drink and got ignored. I felt I was being discriminated at, waitress only servicing white people! Not enough quarter machines, not enough slot machines. Small smelly area, got so mad, told my friend let's get out of here. On the way out a manager walked up to us and asked how was our stay. I immediately told her how I had been ignored when requesting a drink. For service like this I rather go somewhere else. She immediately apologized and went and got us some water to go. Didn't go back!

Friendly staff, decent slot selection, probably should have spent some time at the card tables rather than the slots.

Inpromptu stay after a meeting went late in nearby Needles, I had stayed at another casino the night before. This was NIGHT and DAY compared. The other property didn't have room service OR in room coffee. Their upgraded room was just okay.
My only issue with the Golden Nugget room was the fact the tub didn't have a stopper so you can only shower. Other than that- everything about the place is wonderful. I even won some money. :)

The landscaping is so beautiful!! Once you walk in its like a lil jungle with a small pond. $3 craps on Friday morning!!! $5 an Noon. Nice casino. We made good money here.

I have to say that the Golden Nugget's gaming floor is one of the nicer ones in Luaghlin, but that said, the slots are tight. Good drink service, frequent. I didn't try the food since it is the same as what we have here in Houston.

This hotel and casino for me is the best on the river! Less smoke, always clean, and the home of some of the best restaurants in Laughlin!

Met friends here, very nice casino and small enough you can get around...all workers very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised how cute this place was and plan on going back

GN has a great entrance (think mirage in Las Vegas)
Good game selection; drink service was timely and personable. Enjoyed visiting the casino.

Don’t stay there run.Hotel is old and tired. The only money you will win is from the ATM. Casino is so smokey it’s awful. We stayed 3 days. Never again. We played slots in lots of different casinos this one gives back nothing. We will never go back. Very disappointed in the property. Robyn

We found that this casino to be fun without breaking the bank. You get play for your money. We played nickel and dime poker and both hit four of a kinds. My spouse played video keno for awhile and hit and I played some slots and made a few bucks. Definitely one of the loosest places in town

We visited this hotel for dinner, and I was blown away when i walked in the front doors into a jungle setting! A small waterfall is in the lobby right as you walk in and it makes you feel like you are in a rainforrest instead of a casino.
The casino is nice too! the tables have an amazing black felt color that suits this casino well. A must see at least.

Very nice room for the price. Best in Laughlin. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. A little experience. Very well worth the price. Service was very good also.

Enjoyed our stay in the hotel and made a donation to the casino. Good margaritas at the bar. You're welcome for the donation. Haha!

The casino mixes the old school vibe with modern machines. This place was less smoky than some others we visited while in Laughlin. Stop by to see the world's largest gold nugget on display or to see the garden/atrium. It has a good variety of restaurants from the required steak house to a buffet and café.

I was staying at another hotel last month when I thought I'd try this casino at Keno. The entry is adjacent to the restaurant and the so-called Keno lounge....Awful...There are only 6 chairs in the Keno section which is crammed against 3 walls... On the left side are 3 chairs, on the right are 3 chairs. There's your 6 chairs...and the aisle between them is only 2-3 feet wide. I had to struggle up to the counter b/c of my disability, and ask the Keno attendant "Is this all you got for Keno?" Answer" yes''.
Call me old-fashioned, but such a physical arrangement in a casino for a traditional game like that is absurd. Don't even bother coming here

Average casino, pleasant atrium in the entrance. Everything seemed clean and uncluttered. We wanted to play keno but the keno lounge was closed early evening.

This casino is just like the old day casino. I love walking around it. the ceilings are low and some of the machine are old which is what I like.

Best deal on the river. Fun casino, great restaurants, nice atmosphere. I've stayed there most times I've been to Laughlin. Each time has been pleasant, satisfying and relaxing. Great deals on rooms, reservations are easy. I was there when they were remodeling rooms, including new televisions. The staff were excellent.

Enjoyed our visit to the Golden Nugget. Nice atmosphere, not super noisy, descent variety of machines. Could update a few of the slots. Ate at Salt Grass restaurant which was quite good. Would recommend stopping in.

Beautiful casino, well maintained. Great restaurants
(Bubba Gumps, Salt Grass, Claim Jumper). Haven’t stayed here yet, will do next time in town

The table cost were better than Harrah's. The minimum for 3 card poker was $5 which is what I was looking for. Casino was very clean.

We play Craps. The dealers were friendly, quickly learned our betting style and kept us on track. They were professional in their job and didn't lose track of bets.
I would also say that because the Craps table is so close to the atrium, the smoke is much lighter than in other casinos. We gambled there two nights in a row - both nights in town. And, look forward to our next visit.

Great place to play and the machines were paying off. Very nice casino with easy access. Great access to river view.

We have been to better casinos with brighter more modern looking appearance.
Also very limited in the amount of tables and some areas were dismal like the keno area. Restaurants were not well defined how to get to them.
Parking garage is not useful on signage for how to get to the hotel lobby at all.
Before you go look at a layout of the hotel area and garage along with the casino so you have your bareings before you go.
Will save you frustration.

Not a very lucky location, but it's a local hangout and they offer alot of prizes and such. Great Hosts! (Dustin Funkner) Great Valet! Servers on floor are great! Just need to loosen the machines!

I played craps, blackjack and 3 card poker. My two adult sons really enjoyed it. Seemed like a fun crowd at this casino. Younger for Laughlin.

One of the best casinos in Laughlin and that's all you need to know. Winning slots and great places to eat and don't forget Starbucks for that morning coffee

Only casino that let us win to play. GREAT staff. Always had beverage servers available. Regular temperature settings.

I felt comfortable hanging out at the Golden Nugget. The layout of the casino floor was roomy. The décor was pleasing to the eye...considering that it's a casino.

First thing we noticed was how clean the casino was. Staff was very friendly. Ate at the cafe and was "ok".

Laughlin is a small city not far from Las Vegas and it's kind of a private place. You can buy a small home with land for a reasonable price.
The Golden Nugget Casino is so beautiful.

I expected a superior room, but it was ordinary. The restaurants were very good. The table games were not what I was looking for so I walked to the Pioneer next door to get a $5 blackjack table. The slots were new and paid well enough.

The rooms have been very nice and clean. The whole casino/hotel gives you a sense of security. For some reason I feel comfortable roaming there. A couple of machines were fun in the casino.

Older atmosphere, but new machines and looser slots. Lots of fun with new card games. Beverage servers on point. Being a dog lover, I cant understand why they are allowed in eating places.

I used to enjoy it more at the Golden Nugget before they changed their machine selection. They don't ever significantly update their casino. It is always bland inside. Somewhat smoky. Consistently poor drink service. There is honestly only one casino I enjoy in Laughlin... and this isn't it. Golden Nugget needs an overhaul.

I never leave Laughlin without paying (no pun intended) a visit to the Golden Nugget casino. This mid-sized establishment boasts a generous choice of gambling options that include the latest in slots, video poker and table games. The table games in particular offer reasonable minimums such as $3 Craps during daylight hours and all hour $5 Blackjack. The Blackjack table, where I live, is complete with interesting $1 side bets that can prove profitable and always fun! Their Players Club is also a plus offering a regular source of current casino programs and free play offers to regular gamblers. My only criticism of my casino experience would be the sometimes surly attitude of the Blackjack dealers. Oh, I forgot to mention the great river view from the bar. All in all I rate this casino experience as very good!

while on vacation we decided to try different Casino's. My wife and I went to the GN and were inpressed with the foresty entrance. People were friendly and had a good time

We took the river taxi from our casino and was not disappointed. We did a bit of betting on games and won! Horse race betting also. Slots where fun and they did not seem as smoke filled as our hotel and casino.

A casino is a place that you deposit money and hope for a return.... NOT always gonna happen. They use to be a nice place but anymore they are really not too good. They use to allow free rooms if you played there and had a rewards card but now they are shorting the free days.

This hotel/casino has a beautiful river bar with great bartenders and a fantastic view. Great place to just watch the river go by. Nice selection of slot machines.

Has several well known eatery's here. Clean hotel and would consider staying here if we come back to Laughlin.

I have stayed and played at the Golden Nugget several times in the last couple years. It is always clean and have a great variety of table games and slot machines. The service on the Casino floor is great. Every waitress (except 1) is friendly and very pleasant. Rooms are a bit dated but always clean. Beds are newer and comfortable.

We go to this casino in Laughlin regularly. It's my all time favorite! The games are always changing & fun! And, I win frequently there, too!! Got to love that!! The customer service is exceptional on the casino floor & valet. I love their restaurants: Saltgrass, Bubba Gump's & Claim Jumper. The atmosphere caters more to adults...relaxing & exciting at the same time!! Guaranteed good time!

its absolutely beautiful on the water and great restaurants too had a fun time gaming there going back this april for my bd is sooo close to las vegas 90 minutes i think five or take a few depending on traffic check it oout

We stopped by Golden Nugget on our riverwalk walk. Very nice casino and didn't smell too smokey. Slot machines played OK and casino was newer with plenty of machines. River walk is great.

The GN hotel is by far the nicest (for the price) casino/resort on the river! Clean, well maintained rooms and common areas! Very easy (nearly direct) access to parking garage or valet! LOVE IT HERE!
Casino floor is easy to navigate and the great food venues are also easy to access from the gaming floor! All the games are FUN and odds are very good vs other casinos on the river (Laughlin)!

The Golden Nugget is the best casino in Laughlin, it is beautiful inside with waterfalls, nice gift shop, new slot machines and great customer service.

This was our first stay at Golden Nugget in Laughlin and I have to say I was very impressed. Janine checked us in and was very helpful and we could not have been more pleased with her. The self parking was very easy and a short walk to the hotel check-in desk. We had a Riverview room and it was very nice. For those of you that like fresh air the window does open to allow that. Remember this is not Vegas so don’t expect to pay Laughlin prices and get a top-of-the-line room. The room was clean and we had no complaints about it. The pool is small but the water is heated. We would definitely stay here again

Playing the slots here was nothing special and no bonus and lost a lot of money. Won't play here again

A nice casino with plenty of free parking. Wasn’t too smoky and the drink ladies were always coming around to keep the drinks flowing. Played for over an hour and still broke even. Bonus!

This hotel's adult entertainment still has "live bodies" working the tables and games, more enjoyable that pressing a button. They also have Bubba Gumps and other restaurants inside. Easy to get to and friendly staff!

I always enjoy visiting ther casino at the Golden Nugget. The dealers will teach you and the floor in clean and never very crowded.
We had a room in the 2nd floor with a view of the courtyard. It was nice, but I wouldn't pay extra for it. If you want quiet, stay on the top floor. We could very clearly hear the footsteps of the couple in the room above us. The tap water in the room had a strange taste, but the ice from the machine was fine. If you are only going for a few days, opt out of daily housekeeping and take the $5 credit for food or gaming. Also, if you made a reservation online the check in time says 3pm, but the hotel changed it to 4pm. Guess the online hasn't been updated yet.
