The tour guide Kylan was awesome! Try to get him for sure. Wealth of knowledge and made it fun. Very attentive. Great day at Graceland.
Meal voucher- we had tickets for Vernon’s steakhouse. In my opinion it wasn’t the worth the $75 total in cost for 3 people. Save your money! Eat someplace else.

the neighborhood this place is in is far from nice its vagrant hell
there were police down the road with a man at gunpoint
the buisnesses along this road have cars that are abandoned and have been broken into
then 1/2 a block away a group openly shooting up drugs
we decided to keep going as its not worth being shot mugged or robbed

We went to visited Graceland as a tribute to my mum who loved Elvis but never got to visit. The house and gardens are lovely and very poignant to see but the rest of it over the road from the house is tired and run down. The whole experience is let down by the staff that work there , none were welcoming or friendly from the girl on the gate to the staff in the diner. I felt treated with contempt if I asked for assistance, got told off for taking photos as the tour was about to go ( it was one photo of the bus and other people were still getting on). Whoever is running this place needs to sort this out as the iconic experience is ruined

I am a lifelong fan of Elvis and his music, so my first visit to memphis was something I've always wanted to carry out.
Sept 2024, we managed to get to Graceland and visit his home, and it was all that I had hope for. The home, the memories, and the nostalgia were just amazing.
The rooms, the home, and the stories were amazing. we booked the Elvis experience tour, which included his home, cars, and planes included in the tour. Great value and they have now built a whole new area opposite graceland with dinners, shops, further museums to enhance your Graceland experience

The visit to Elvis' house is exciting. It's a time capsule, everything stopped after he left. Exciting to visit the meditation garden. I recommend the VIP Tour because you have the opportunity to see hidden corners of the Mansion. I highly recommend

What can you say that hasn’t been said?
A phenomenal day out exploring the Family home, which to be honest is surprisingly small in overall size..just like a real house.
The included museums filled our day to the brim. Not much to say other than that.
A bucket list ticked and satisfied. Brilliant.

We just did the Ultimate VIP tour with Paige as our tour guide. We booked the 1st tour of the day, and it was the most amazing tour experience ever. Paige was very knowledgeable and patient with our young Elvis fans. We never felt rushed, and she answered all of our questions. The food at Vernon's was very good and filling. Visiting Graceland gave us a look into what Elvis's life was like and we will cherish the memories we made.

We purchased the 9 a.m. Elvis Experience tour and prepaid parking ahead of time. Note that they didn't open the parking lot until about 8:45 a.m. Once they opened, everything was very smooth. They took us to a theater with a short video about Elvis, then to tour Graceland, and then to the various museums on the property.
For me, one of the fun parts of touring the house was just being taken back to the 1970s. Almost everything in the house reminded me of the 1970s, from the shag carpet to the tiki furniture to the style of the TVs.
The other highlight of the tour was the museum of Elvis' career. We enjoyed the various outfits, looking at some of the gold records, and watching the mini-concert in the little theater at the end.
Also, the gift merchandise was about the same price as on Beale Street downtown, so if you see something you like, it might be worth picking it up.

My Elvis crazed 70 yr old Aunt talked me into a long weekend to finally see Graceland! Who doesnt like Elvis, I was IN! I had no idea there was more than the house and its grounds to see! We did the $82 self guided tour, it took about 4.5 hours and we were pleasantly surprised it included all of the museums, airplanes, and shops accross the street! Graceland is magic. Take a sharpie-you're allowed to sign the wall out front of the mansion!

Highly recommend. Bus was very comfortable. Guides were very informative. I just wish we would have had more time at the birthplace. There was so much to see there and I felt rushed.

My father is a huge fan of Elvis, so we planned a stop at Graceland on our vacation. Our party consisted of 4 couples ranging in ages from 21 to 82. We booked the vip tour.
We got there and enjoyed looking at some of the gift shops while we waited for our tour time to get closer. We then went to the ticket counter to inquire where to go for our tour. The girl barely looked up and told us to go to the line over by the theater. We had our tickets scanned from our phone. Nobody said anything about us being in the wrong line. We went in the theater & realized something was wrong. We went out and asked & the girl who scanned our tickets told us we weren’t in the right place. She then directed us to the vip tour counter. The woman there was so helpful & and apologized. She made sure we had everything we needed to get started.
The tour was awesome. We used the iPads for the audio tour. I highly recommend them.
Once back, we saw the planes & went in the areas of the complex that housed the rest of the memorabilia. The staff ranged from very happy to do their job to totally uninterested and almost annoyed to have to answer questions. Unfortunately, there were more of the latter than the former. Despite this, we enjoyed the experience and appreciate the people who did go above and beyond to help us along the way.

I thought the house tour was fab and couldn’t believe how much of his stuff is on display . I’m not a fan but thought it was fantastic to see and expected to be fed up 10 mins in . But pleasantly surprised I really enjoyed it . You get your moneys worth .
I would have given it max stars however. Some of the staff are a bit off and seem
To not want to be there and looked fed up. I Think the staff need a kick up the backside as people have travelled along way usually To see this .
Vernon’s restaurant I think it was called the man serving us was beyond rude but got told straight about his bad attitude . I Wasn’t putting up with it and it lets the place down. Your there for a day out not to take peoples bad attitudes.
Customer service skill training is what’s needed by some staff . Don’t get me wrong others were nice. Vernon’s. Let it down. Bad Attitudes

This tour was amazing - We got to tour the mansion, outbuildings, memorial garden, the buildings across the road from the mansion containing resaurants and GREAT exhibits. Also the airplanes.

Unforgettable tour, every second was worth the very high price. Our tour guide John was very warm and emotional, which intensified the experience. A must for anyone of the Elvis people want to find.

We paid for the ultimate VIP pkg and had a tour guide who knew so much about Graceland. We got to see all his personal collections and learned so much about who Elvis the person was, not just the entertainer. We have always been fans and were so blown away by all the personal information we learned on our tour. If you go
to Graceland you must go on a private tour with a guide! It is definitely worth it if you get Tina for your guide.

Unforgetable experience. Excellent guide, beautiful house, first class museums. What a day ! The place is surprisingly quite and serene.

I mean it's Elvis Presley, cheapest ticket is around $50 and that does not include the house so for around $90 you get house and museums. Tour is only about 45 mins for house and then you can self guide the museums and ridiculous amount of gift shops. A big shaft is the extra $10 to park after you just paid $290 in entrance tickets. Total duration was around 4 hours and that's after not spending your time looking at every exhibit and reading all material. There are food options also on location but we did not purchase food. Is it worth a few hundred dollars. Yes probably but would not need to go again

Elizabeth our tour guide was personable and informative. Graceland was better than expected. Not at all tacky as I had presumed it to be. It’s a long walk around the estate and my disabled husband found it had going. In our package lunch was included. Oh what a disappointment! I know we had VIP tickets ( which cost a fortune) but lunch was in the same self service cafeteria style restaurant that everyone used. The food was disgusting. Stone cold mash potatoes, cold corn bread do hard you could pave the road either way it, sweetcorn in some sort of thick white gravy and to go with it some pulled pork and some bbq ribs. The ribs were pure fat. Not a piece of meat on them.
The package was not worth the cost. Just pay for entry and do your own thing for food and drinks

Efficient and friendly staff. Came to Arkansas for a football visit and to be able to say my teenage son enjoyed the visit says it all! He even told me that he was surprised that he liked it as much as he did. Lol

We had a great self-guided tour through the grounds and mansion at Graceland. It was a very thorough tour and easy to maneuver getting to the venue. There is a ton of parking and a lot to see before you head out on the bus across the street to the house. Be sure to take it all in! Lots of walking, reading and sights to see.

Graceland has been on my bucket list of places to visit so while in Nashville on business I took Grayline Tour by bus which was great courtesy of Frank our driver and guide.
After a 3hr bus ride watching Elvis films we arrived. Our VIP passes were waiting. Our tour of the house that is Graceland was based on a time slot so we were ferried across the road from the visitor centre by bus.
After a short film our group of 15 was directed by the frienfly staff into the house. Inside it has been recreated to how it was during Elvis's final years in Graceland in the 1970's. It is smaller on the inside but all the rooms and memorabilia are evocative of the King. From the lounge to the TV room to the jungle room all downstairs as there is no entry upstairs. Audio guides are available but I preferred to read the panels around the house.
There are a number of outbuildings too and some great photo ops including outside the front which is very busy. I did unlike others slip into an Elvis costume and get some photos. The staff and other visitors applauded my efforts and got photos of a Sikh Elvis outside Graceland!
Then back to the visitor centre and the many museums showcasing Elvis' life. From his clothes to his cars to his planes and even his tractor.
A chance to try his favourite grilled (not fried) banana and peanut butter sandwich before it was time to go. Overall an amazing experience and 5 hours well spent. This is a must do for any music fan.

Lifetime wish to see Graceland as a fan of Elvis.
Doing so at Christmas was so fun being that it was fully decorated.
Went in shortly after Lisa Marie died. Her exhibit wasnt yet created. A remarkable tribute to the King

As our tour guide said, there are so many houses that present like this in our neighborhood. But it was probably something special when it was built in 1982. The inside was untouched since Elvis lived there. Very eccentric furnishings, especially the pool room covered in fabric. The history of his family was everywhere. It was obvious he loved them and wanted to honor them. There is a timeline in the house of his life and the sadness of losing his wife and daughter due to drug use. The memorial gardens with gravesites was very moving - lots of history there. As you move on you are taken to an outdoor mall of sorts with many museums, restaurants, and shops. All in all a great stop even for non-Elvis fans. Get Elvis' favorite sandwich growing up - toasted banana and peanut butter - at the diner named after his mother. I would love to return and see more shops and the planes.

For the price of the $85 ticket, you see the house, planes, and all the museums in the complex across the street. Friendly staff! There is so much to see it's almost overwhelming. I would plan on 3 to 4 hours.

What an excellent day the visit to Graceland was. The place is well organized and a lot of employees are working there to make sure your visit is pleasant. On entering the mansion each visitor was already handed an iPad with earphones so one can walk through the rooms, gardens and more in the pace that suits you best. The transportation out is not restricted to the group you entered with. You can wait in the shade to process what you just saw and take the small buss back when you are ready. That is very nice. Besides the house and surroundings I liked to see the inside of the planes and the part of the Experience called 'Elvis the entertainer career museum'. It is a bit tucked away in the back. Imho it should be the first part of the museum after you get back from the mansion. People, go see it for yourselves and enjoy!

This is a must when you're in Memphis. We booked a tour online before travelling, so you could choose a time slot that suits. There is a little bus ride to the house - which is beautifully preserved. There was a short wait but it allowed us time to take photos of the outside. The house itself is quite extraordinary, like a time capsule. The decoration really captures a point in time. There is a lot to see in the out houses and grounds, we were surprised to see this is also the resting place for a number of family members, it's quite moving. Once you get through the main house there is a huge display of costumes, cars and even planes that you can actually board. There is so much to see, there are a couple of restaurants on site too, you really could make a day of it. The costumes on particular are quite the first exhibition. It really is a must, just knowing that all of this collection is authentic and so many personal documents and images of Elvis and the family. Amazing.

Graceland was a dream come true. It was so emotional the moment you walk through the gates. The exhibition across the road was amazing.

Amazing day. Special place. We had a tour based on visiting mansion, and all associated buildings, planes, cars, costumes, etc. It is very professionally prepared. First you are brought by a shuttle bus from the ticketing place to Graceland mansion where you visit part of Elvis’ mansion, surrounding buildings, meditation garden and graves of Elvis and his family. Then you are brought back where you can visit his cars, planes, outfits, icons section and section devoted to his daughter. So much to see. Plan at least 3 hours!
There is a parking place, I advise to book a parking ticket and Graceland tickets in advance.

We thought this was great. Well organised tour and so very much to see. The iPad and headsets for the mansion were great. Loved finding out more about Elvis from his home, cars, aeroplanes and costumes. So much merchandise to buy too. You can’t visit Memphis without doing this tour.

I have lived in Memphis all my life.I have been to Graceland 3 times. December I went to the Pompeii Exhibition and highly disappointed in the street area.
I know Graceland doesn't own the streets or the buildings around it.You would think being the second most visited house in the USA. Graceland and City of Memphis would come up with a plan to fix the problems near the grounds.
Memphis wasting money on Riverside drive re-do every 3 years and etc. Graceland draws in millions of visitors a year from all over the country. Memphis can do bettet.

Really awesome experience. The area has changed alot in the last 25 years, but Graceland remains beautiful. I had several great interactions with the staff - SHOUT OUT TO BRIAN (red shirt guide at the entrance of Graceland) - he went out of his way to help my niece & I have an unforgettable experience. The grounds were really well kept, the mansion and museums were amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Every single worker was annoyed with Every person they had to talk to! Very RUDE! and they acted very racist! I could handle it but I saw them intimidate some elderly and foreigners. From will call to bus drivers, head phones people to house caregivers, etc. The grounds and home were beautiful and exciting to see and I'm so glad to have been able to see it, just hard to take when you see the smirks, eye rolls and disrespect

What an amazing 3rd visit . Guesthouse is amazing. Clean , large room , showers are large , staff are so so cheerful & friendly & couldn't do enough for me. Beds are comfy , pillows are soft & fluffy, food is great . Free transport to & from airport & over to the museums & mansion. I would recommend anyone visiting to stay here . I wouldn't stay anywhere else . Totally in awe of everything I saw yet again. Can't wait for my next visit . Staff really do make you feel at home -- Absolutely fantastic stay . Absolutely no complaints at all . Absolutely brilliant 😃😃

Graceland got a bit too big but still worth the visit. We first visited in the mid 1980's when only the mansion, a few small outbuildings housing displays of gold/platinum albums/singles, a few costumes, few cars and graves were available to see. Now, there are also large displays, across from the mansion, of Elvis's two planes; 30+ cars, golf carts, boats; 100+ show costumes; other artists influenced by Elvis. A bit too much, except for the true Elvis fan. And if you select the VIP package, you can be there all day.

Ultimate VIP Tour with John Beach
Excellent experience and a wonderful tour with John.
Enjoyed this immensely and John was wonderful and for sure his passion helped make this a memorable day.
Big thank you from 2 Elvis fans from Australia :)

We had booked Ultimate VIP tour which included a scrummy lunch at Vernon's. Alexis was out tour guide and was absolutely brilliant. Full of knowledge and took her time explaining things to us. Our group of 10 people seemed to enjoy themselves as my husband and I did too
We spent 9.25am to 5.40pm at Gracelands, so much to see. We had the most wonderful time, very nostalgic and quite emotional sometimes. Can thoroughly recommend a trip to here even if you are not an Elvis fan.

We arrived early and I guess slightly out of season - early October - but it was still busy (must be too busy in summer season). For us, the whole experience exceeded expectations. Easy to park as we were early, Elvis playing on the speakers as we walked in, grabbed a coffee as we were early, and then we took the shuttle across the street to his house. They control the crowds really well, although the private tours are annoying because they keep telling you to hold back while they explain stuff - fine if places allow them, but don’t tell people what to do and the time to do it. My only gripe. The tour flows really well around the house and grounds. I was struck by (a) Elvis really was a global superstar, and even more than I had known (b) what a catalogue of music and movies (c) he seemed a really nice guy, at least his public persona, with military service and staying humble living in Memphis. He really was a Corporation and maybe that is why his life seemed so sad. There is so much material to see in the other buildings. We lasted 3 hours and that was rushing a bit at the end because we were on a tight schedule. In summary, a really good exhibition of his life and very well curated.

Did 1st tour of the day with John. Cannot recommend enough. Graceland was empty so that was brilliant. John was superb - charismatic, charming and knowledgeable. Can recommend paying the extra for the ultimate (if purse strings will stretch). Gracelands would be breath taking without John but with was very special. Thank you / janis & Cheryl xx

A must-see! An emotional trip back in time. As a life-long Elvis fan, I am so grateful his roots have been so lovingly preserved.

I was on a Riviera Travel Deep South USA & Texas holiday travelling from South Wales UK, the audio tour of Graceland Mansion was absolutely amazing I never thought that so much was open to the public to see, to walk around Elvis Presley home I can’t put it into words I was so privileged to be there, from Graceland we went to see Elvis Presley planes to walk on board and look around amazing, then to the halls full of his vehicles and all his outfits on display mind blowing experience, to sit and listen to his performances and see him on stage, this experience I will never forget just amazing to be able to see so much, I am so pleased to be able to be part of his music journey. Thank you

The tour of Graceland is an interesting adventure. Tragically, Elvis Presley's life was cut short by his untimely demise. I found that the Elvis mansion is well maintained and interesting to behold. As an avid car fan, I find his car collection amazing. His performance costumes on display are remarkable as one would expect. While understandably, the upstairs area, including his bedroom, is off limits to tours, the areas presented on the tour are well worth the admission price. I regret not attending an Elvis concert, when I had the opportunity. Thankfully, recordings and videos remain for all to enjoy. A life well lived.
There are rumors that Pastor Bob Joyce is Elvis. That is a story that only the " king" himself can confirm or deny. Rest in peace, Elvis Aaron Presley. Thanks for the memories.

This was on our bucket list of things to do whilst visiting the USA, and overall we were not disappointed. We had purchased a VIP Package so had to be at the main complex by 10.30am.
After checking in were given ipads which would be used to provide a commentary on Graceland, and every room, as we moved through the house and then outside. A bus then took us across the road to the house.
There were about 20 in our group, and we had to wait a few minutes before entering the house. It is certainly interesting to see where Elvis lived, however we were not given much time to admire each room, before having to move on. That is probably my main criticism, it felt very rushed. And of course the house wasn't built to accomodate large groups. You cannot go upstairs, however we knew that in advance of making the booking. Also my ipad stopped working halfway through the tour.
One other aspect is that it is very difficult to take a photo of the front of the house, as groups wait out the front until being allowed to enter. That's ok if you don't mind people in your photo, but otherwise it could be annoying to some.
Afterwards we were able to take our time wandering around the grounds, and when we were done, a bus took us back across the road to the main complex.
There are a number of exhibits, all of which we found both interesting and informative. Lot's of gift shops, although we didn't see many people actually buy anything. There is a diner, Gladys, however we were not overly fussed at the food choices available, so gave that a miss. It was very popular though.
The car collection is quite impressive, as was Elvis's private jet, although it should have a clearly marked entry and exit, it was rather cramped with people going in both directions in the plane.
Overall it was a good experience, and the VIP package gives you access to plenty to see. We spent over 4 hours there, and probably could have spent longer.

This tour was everything I wanted it to be and a whole lot more. Our tour guide John was absolutely fantastic. He could appear on Mastermind, such is his encyclopedic knowledge of all matters Elvis. For a while we had the mansion to ourselves. Just 3 of us and John. I was able to take many, Many, many photographs whilst listening to John. There is simply so much to see and take in that time flies by, you don't realise that hours have passed. A fabulous visit with the added bonus of a tour guide who really cared and went the extra mile. Thanks John. As Elvis would have said "May we meet you again, until then, Adios"

Whilst I wouldn't consider myself a big Elvis fan, I've found myself in Memphis and therefore Graceland 4 times over the last 25 odd years.
Every single time I go, the place gets better and better. The House is preserved beautifully; but the museum and exhibits across the road seem to expand and expand giving you something new to see.
The inclusion of modern exhibits that have been inspired by Elvis is a really nice touch.
If you're anywhere near Memphis, ie Nashville or closer, you have to go, even if you've been before.

This is a fantastic experience! I didn't know there was so much to see and do there besides touring the mansion and the grounds. The museums are so well done. Also, I was extremely impressed by how organized and well laid out the who experience is. Definitely plan on allowing for at least a half a day to see and do it all.

Elvis is an Icon, even today, so this was on our bucket list. We bought tickets in advance. For the price of the ticket, you do get value for money, there is a lot to see besides the house. The staff are all wonderful, very friendly and helpful.
The exhibits are wonderful with so much to see. We spend 4 hours and still did not look at all things properly.
The house is crazy, not what I was expecting at all, but you could imaging Elvis living their.
Merchandise is very overpriced which is a shame when the tickets are not cheap. I am sure there is enough money in the pot to constantly try to take advantage of visitors. A simple keychain was $24!
If you grew up listening to Elvis or even if you new to Elvis, the man was a genius.

This was my fifth time visiting Graceland. I have not been since 2016 and was surprised by the wonderful changes! It was a whole new experience and I loved it!!

Thank you, John Beach, for an unforgettable experience at Graceland. We had the absolute privilege of spending the entire day with John as our guide, and he brought every moment to life with fascinating facts and stories. His deep passion for Elvis is undeniable, not just through his extensive knowledge, but also through the memories he shared of the icon and the man behind the legend. It truly made our visit one we will never forget.

Don't we all just love wandering around the homes of the rich and famous? Graceland is nice enough, but it is a time capsule of Elvis' life that people come to see. You get to know a lot about his family. Unfortunately sweeties back was bothering him so we cut off our tour after seeing his cars.

We selected the private tour so we liked having a small number in our group. Our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. Tours are very expensive.

It was a great experience to know the house, cars, planes and everything that was home to Elvis Presley.
One of the best experiences of my life.

Graceland is awesome and the exhibits are so unique and telling! I learned so much about Elvis and his family that I didn't know. The shops have such a great variety of souvenirs and items for purchase. The exhibits were a glimpse of the past and Elvis' family life. It was amazing and highly recommended! The only drawback is that it's a bit disorganized, few instructions, and clear signs on what to do. They handed us ear pods and a tablet, but no instructions on what to do or where to press. I went through 1/4 of the tour before I realized what to do so the audio was mismatched to the places I was walking through. I feel for the elderly or those who are no electronics literate. It's a shame with such a beautiful tour!

We had a great tour. We did the Ultimate VIP Tour, worth every penny. Plan on spending all day, and book for the morning. Our Tour Guide was named John Beach. He was incredible and so knowledgeable. He shared many stories about Elvis and Graceland. He was so good we tried to tip him at the end of the tour. He refused the tip, he was very gracious. I highly recommend this tour.

Good experience at Graceland. Such friendly employees. Everyone is so hospitable. Elvis would be so happy that everyone loves his house as much as he did. The pictures were a bit high. $40

First time here people said don't waste your time they couldn't have been more wrong we enjoyed every minute so much to see plan on all day if you are an Elvis fan.

Fantastic tour so much to see. Elvis's personal items and family members' possessions on display, photographs, clothing, wallets, jewellery, receipts, and Lisa Marie's toys, furniture, planes, cars and costumes.
Graceland itself is a beautiful well-maintained house. Elvis had an individual taste with colours and it shows in the colour scheme and designs of the house. There is so much to see here, l spent 5 hours but could have spent longer.
The remembrance garden is emotional as it is his and his families resting place. It's overwhelming to see.
The cars and clothes area is huge, the planes are fitting of Elvis's taste with colours and designs inside.
Staff are plentiful and attentive throughout the tour. Wear comfortable shoes as there is so much walking. There are restaurants and seating throughout should you need refreshments or a break.
My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children ages 14, 11, and 9 ) throughly enjoyed the tour and will return. My son and l are big fans.

Even though we’re not huge Elvis fans, we really enjoyed the Elvis Experience Tour. So much interesting history! Especially loved seeing his many cars and costumes. Definitely recommend!

Was better than I expected and well worth a visit however the man on guest services was so rude and should not be working there. Photos they take are not that expensive and the gift shops are reasonably priced

We have been to Graceland on Elvis week intermittently for 30 years. We went this year, and it has just lost it's spirit. Prior to covid, you could walk through the shops and visitors' area, and there would be tents with music, karaoke, or a move on the lawn. It was alive and so much fun. We would go for free activities but also always spent money in the shops, on the tour, and on-site food once we were there. It's just not the same and is very fragmented rather than just a big week-long celebration of music and the life of Elvis. The festive atmosphere is gone to private paid for events so behind the scenes you cannot discern its different from any other week. We were sad to see how dead it was this year, and I mean really dead. We couldn't even tell that Elvis Presely's Memphis exhibits and shops were open and almost left before seeing the cars. We hope EP Enterprises brings back the overall atmosphere that used to surround Graceland during Elvis week and brings back the Elvis presley 5k where an enormous group of navy personnel would run amongst Elvis impersonators in full polyester jumpsuits, alongside people of all ages from all over the world including Memphis locals. People will come when the atmosphere is restored and once there they will spend money!

Graceland is a must see! I just proposed to my girlfriend on our 8 year anniversary on the steps of Graceland. We were the only ones in our VIP Group Tour and John our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the whole staff helped me with our proposal. The whole property is beautiful. It was a once in a lifetime experience

Where do I begin. We are Elvis fans. Love his music.
I first want to say I just read some negative reviews on staffers. Our experience was different. Jamille answered a lot of questions for me on the phone before our trip. She was amazing! A real people person. She is a true asset to the organization. We made it a point to meet her when we arrived. She was just as sweet in person as on the phone. Also, some lovely people in the gift shops.
Apparently, we lucked out going the beginning of November. It’s “off” season. We arrived before 10 a.m. and honestly took our time and tried to take it all in. We were there 3 1/2 hours. You could go through in two hours or you could spend the day. Now to some other things to relay to trip advisor people.
The freeways in Memphis are fast and crazy drivers.
Elvis Presley Blvd. is sorta a mess. Definitely needs repair.
You pay $10.00 to park
Before the shuttle to the mansion, your photo is taken and packaged for sale later when you come back from the mansion tour. I believe it was around $35.00. Honestly, our pics turned out nice but seriously, that’s way too much money. Plus, I liked some of the photos better than others. It’s too bad they were so costly. We did not see a lot of people buying them for that price. It was an 8 x 10 collage with about 4 or 5 different scenes. All beautiful but just too much.
The regular tour that gets you in the “mansion” and all the museums was $84.00 each. I wish we could have seen more of the mansion. It’s definitely locked in time. You get to use a iPad that tells you about each room, narration by John Stamos. Just vision Elvis walking down his main staircase, playing racquetball, or sitting on the yellow bar stool or even riding his golf cart around the property. Even thinking about the family sitting down for dinner & Elvis sat where he could see the TV. It was enlightening. My husband loved seeing all his personal cars. I loved seeing the outfits, his fashion and some of the stage sets and a lot of the artwork . Walking into two of his planes was neat to see. There are a few places to eat, several gift shops, etc. After you leave the plane area, if you walk across the street to the iron gate, you see Elvis’s face in the crosswalk. You can, also, take a permanent marker and write on the stone fence surrounding the property.
We truly enjoyed our visit and happy to check this off my bucket list!

What and experience! It has been a lifelong dream to visit Graceland and it did not disappoint. It was such a surreal and emotiional experience to see how the mansion has been preserved how the man himself lived.
Not only was the house amazing but the wide rage of exhibitions that are also part of the tour the we done.
The restaurants on the exhibit complex were great, really good atmoshphere.

We went on the Graceland VIP tour. John was our tour guide and he was just so great. Very funny and had a lot of stories to tell. The 3-4 hours we had with him flew by. If you're a fan would definitely recommend. There is also a lot of other things to do and many gift shops.

Great visit to Graceland we did the Ultra VIP tour with Travis as our guide. It was amazing, the house is a wonderful time capsule to that period. We loved the stories that Travis shared along with seeing behind the scenes on how their archives team look after all the personal effects, it’s truly amazing. This was bucket list holiday and it didn’t disappoint. By the way Vernon Smoke house was a pleasant surprise might be plastic plates but the chicken and pork tasted good….

A fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend to both Elvis fanatics and those who maybe aren't. The UVIP tour was pricey but worth every penny.
An amazing experience

5 stars
I absolutely LOVED it, boy did I enjoy this!
It was amazing, I could have cried all the way around. There wasn’t a blade of grass out of place. It was exceptional tour and I’m glad I did it,
We paid for the VIP tour and it was worth it, there’s so much to see- I almost couldn’t take it all in.
If you’re an Elvis fan- this is a must do!
Loved every minute of it.

We bought tour tickets for 11:15 but arrived an hour early so we got an earlier tour. Unfortunately, it was raining this day, so we made the best of the outdoor activities. House was very 70's especially the jungle room. Graves of the Presley family (including Lisa Marie) were beautiful. Museums across the street included cars and army memorabilia. Definitely the place to visit while in Memphis.

Absolutely amazing place to visit, so much information and artefacts it is unbelievable. Ensure you add the mansion visit on to your ticket as it is fascinating to see where Elvis lived. If you have prebooked your tickets with the mansion you go to screen B, if you don’t have the mansion go to screen A. To go to the mansion you line up after watching the introductory video then get on the bus. You are given an iPad for audio tour if you want it or there are plenty of signs to read if you prefer that. We stopped at the smokehouse for lunch which was good value and good tasting. The flow is really thought out. Although a large number of people it was well spaced out with a large number of gift stores spread out too

It was my childhood dream to visit Graceland. It is great to see it, it is a wonderful southern family home. However, the rest of the place is very commercialized, so many gift shops, what a pitty, it overshadows all the music and Elvis talent. It is packed mostly with cheap stuff made in China. I also did not like our tour guide comments, some of them were rude. I recommend the Graceland guides go to see a guide in Sun studio how to make a real experience and pay respect to the legends

We like Elvis music and movies, but this tour gave us a whole new perspective of his life, family, and career. We were a little skeptical considering how much the "experience" tickets cost, but we always wanted to visit, so we wanted to see all. When we returned to the car after 4 hours of touring, we commented that it was worth the money.
We used the iPad and earphones for the mansion tour, and we're glad we did; it does add a lot of additional information you don't get by reading the storyboards in the mansion and other mansion buildings.. The information about his Army tour is interesting and informative. The cars are very cool.
We enjoyed it.

One thing first: I'm not an Elvis fan, I never have been.
But one thing is fact: what he has been for rock 'n' roll since the mid-fifties and until his death in 1977 is second to none. Basically, he was the first pop superstar.
And what you get to see here for your entrance fee – with parking it’s almost $100 for one person – is worth every penny.
Graceland itself is now a part of pop culture, even just individual parts of it like the Jungle Room. Just think of “Graceland” by Paul Simon or “Walking in Memphis” by Marc Cohn.
Graceland itself is a surprisingly manageable Southern villa that Elvis bought from a doctor when he was 22. The pool is tiny. The grounds behind it are extensive and have other buildings, including a squash court (“racket ball”) – this was so important to Elvis that he personally supervised the construction work.
The whole thing is that you pay the ten dollar parking fee right at the entrance of the parking lot and then run up to the entrance area to buy your ticket. Afterwards, the first thing you should do is go to a video room and get in the mood with a small film.
Afterwards, you will be led to a shuttle bus that will take you across the street to the other side of Elvis Presley Boulevard, in front of the entrance to the Southern villa “Graceland”.
After you have gone through all this, you will be brought back by shuttle bus and can see the individual sections of the museum there in peace. Finally, you go out to the left of the entrance and you can still visit the two planes.
Personally, I was blown away by the collection of wonderfully preserved vehicles, Elvis had a fleet that is second to none. A car museum in the museum, so to speak.
The best light for photographing the entrance of the villa is in the afternoon, just as probably in the afternoon the light for photographing the graves to the right of the villa should be better than in the morning.
You should realistically allow a total of 4-5 hours in any case and you easily walk 3.5 to 4 km on the site until you have seen everything.

Very good tour. You can use he as set or go without and just read signs. I have dine both and enjoyed both times. The house is amazing how it’s original. The museums are good as well. Lots to see. So much to soak in but Would love to see more items in display!! There were a few photos that were the same or very similar. Just amazing seeing all the jumpsuits, shoes and accessories. Enjoyed the airplanes as well. And what a talented and generous person Elvis was.

Admission is pretty pricey with $84 and $10 parking. There is a lot to see, during the tour you get ipad with Dutch explanations. You'll be inside for at least 1 1/2 hours to see everything. Found it an experience to see

Fantastic day out. I've waited years to see this and was not disappointed. Very emotional seeing the memorial garden. We spent 5 hours looking around there was so much to see. Had lunch in Glady's diner. Highly recommend this whole experience.

Loved visiting Graceland on the VIP tour. The home is wonderful and heating the history and and seeing the archives and holding something of Elvis personal belongings was exciting. The tour guide spoke really fast and the home tour felt rushed to us. I felt I needed a longer tour or to go again to see everything. There is so much to see across the street at the museum it could easily take you an entire day to read everything and get the full experience. I would recommend going as soon as they open and plan on staying the entire day.

What to say, everything has already been said about Graceland but still I must say I loved it. Elvis will be in us forever.

We visited Memphis just so i could visit Elvis's house, wow i was not disappointed I loved it, you can take lots of pictures which i did lol, it felt strange wandering round his home with him not there, its a beautiful house even the memorial graves and garden was impressive, i did feel sad seeing the family all laid to rest. The planes were also amazing to walk round as was the cars etc. so glad i experienced this tour.

WOW! Spend the extra money and buy the VIP tour! You do get a lot for the money. Not only a free meal but personal stories from your exclusive tour guide, a small group of no more than 12, and 2 extra places to see on the grounds that the regular public does not see. We even got to hold one of Elvis' rings and touch a cape! Our tour guide was John. He was simply amazing. He even has a southern accent like I picture Elvis to have had. He was very knowledgeable about all things Elvis. Truly one of Elvis' biggest fans and very passionate about all of the stories he told us. Oh and one of the best parts is they give you a head set to wear so you can hear your tour guide!! The tour guide wears a microphone and you wear head phones. GENIUS! This way the tour guide can talk normally not shout or worry about everyone hearing the tour and you don't have to worry about catching up to the guide so you can hear the words!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT!!!! Book this tour it's well worth the money!!!!! Try to get John if you can!!!

Whole trip excellent, informative guide and plenty of time at each stop. Lunch was Luke warm at best but this is at an additional cost so the choice is yours. To visit Tupelo and Elvis birth place is amazing. Would love to go again and we met Elvis cousin Billy Smith in the hardware store a real treat treat and he was a perfect gentleman.

Anyone mildly interested in Elvis Presley and his life at home, will enjoy this visit. We went on a weekday and booked the Elvis Presley experience for 9.30am. We found the website a little confusing and wasn't 100% sure what it included. We also paid extra to see his aeroplane. That proved unnecessary as I think anyone can visit as there was no one checking tickets. The day started with a quick 7 mins film which is of poor sound quality and then you exit by the door on the opposite side for a short bus ride to Graceland and to collect your audio headset. They ask you to wear a lanyard if you don't want to carry a rather clunky electronic pad. No idea why as they had run out by time it was my turn and noone bothered or asked questions. The buses have seen better days too so first impressions are not the best and expected better organisation and quality in Elvis' memory. The house itself is well worth the visit as is his plane. The commercial plane next 'Lisa Marie' is slowly rotting in the sun and would again have expected management to take preventative action. We took 3 hours to visit the house, planes and all but 2 exhibits. Memorable day.

History! The museum with artifacts and costumes was amazing
The house is 1970s perfect. Great spot to visit. This was my 2nd trip

I am not an Elvis fan but I loved this. The tour with the iPads and headsets is really good. Gives you an insight into his life and how he liked to do things. Focuses on all the positive elements of his life but also having the house how it looked back when Elvis lived there offers authenticity
Felt emotional seeing the family graves even though I am not a fan

-Elvis' house, surprising if we didn't already have an idea.. How many changing sets! The guide provides good clarification.
-The museum (or rather the museums since there are several buildings) impressive! gigantic! so many photos, films, cars, motorcycles, costumes etc..
with the VIP ARCHIVE pass, you have the possibility to take in your hands an object that once belonged to the King (for a fan, it's something), and go back to rooms alone (with the guide) to see the "behind the scenes".
Extreme fans will not learn much but will be strengthened in their admiration, for others it will be a grandiose discovery.
The planes, are also visitable.
And of course, Elvis in the speakers both indoors and outdoors!
About a dozen shops ...

We started our Memphis trip with an 8:30 am graveside visit. Very moving to see the floral arrangements, wreaths, banners and messages from all over the world. There was a Belgian group visiting at the same time and it was moving for them as well. Extremely helpful personnel working that day, adding to our experience. Was unable to enter the mansion but able to photograph it.

This is a must see tour. My wife and myself had a great time and saw a lot of things that we never seen on previous trips. It's amazing to see where Elvis was born and raised until he was 13 years old. We visited the hardware store where his mother bought his first guitar and many other places. The bus ride was enjoyable and we watched a movie on some of the things about Elvis. The tour guides were great and I will definitely do this tour again! I recommend this to everyone who is an Elvis fan!

I was skeptical of the price but said what the heck and ended up spending over 5 and a half hours there. The house tour takes a little over an hour but the complex across the street that is included goes through his whole career and who influenced. You get to see his cars, airplanes, motorcycles, items related to his army stint, costumes, gold records, and TV and movie appearances
The staff is super friendly.and helpful and his music is playing in the background the entire time. Take the free IPad and headphones for the home tour. It was all very interesting an well done.

We were there 5 years ago, where we had bought ultimate VIP tickets. That time it was all worth the money, but not this time. What was added did not match the price at all. Our guide told nice about the place, but there was nothing special and she let other guests listen with. The extra we got was that we were allowed to hold one of Elvis rings.

Great tour, it’s definitely something you have to check off on your lifetime especially if you’re a big Elvis fan. Your guide was great and awesome. Recommend!

Me and My Wife took the full tour today.
Absolutely Amazing.
Elvis Family History, his lifein pictures and Videos.
All Museum's fantastic.
A must see for any Elvis fan.

We visited Gracelands as part of a music trail road trip from New Orleans to Nashville. Whilst I am not a big fan of Elvis I really wanted to see the house he bought for his parents and we purchased tickets online well in advance. After visiting Tupelo and seeing where he was born and learning more about the man himself I was even more keen to go.
First impressions were not good, we approached the lady at the Guest services desk to be greeted with barely disguised irritation as we asked where we could collect our tickets from. Pointing to a kiosk marked up as a of purchasing point she dismissed us with a wave of her hand. The next encounter was hardly any better but at least we had our tickets. The attitude of the staff was pretty standard as we were herded around the front end of the tour. It was busy but we were kept moving. There are lots of exhibits and the house does give you an insight into the life of Elvis. The tablet and headphones worked well but make sure you keep up with it otherwise you are through the areas being spoken about before the commentary starts.
Out of all the staff we encountered there were three who were pleasant and I must give credit to the lady who was in charge of keeping the ladies toilet in the ticketing hall clean and tidy, she was smiling, very helpful and the toilets were immaculate. The management might like to charge her with the job of soft skills trainer.
So in conclusion loved the opportunity to see a slice of the life of Elvis, disappointed by the overall experience and the attitude of the majority of the staff towards the general public.

Nothing that I heard about the place before we went was what we saw. It was amazing, overwhelming and, if you're a fan, educational. The rooms in the house were fun to walk through and the grounds were beautiful.
But the amazing part was across the street at the museum. Wow is all I can say. We thought we would only be there for a few hours, but we ended up staying all day until almost closing. So much to see and do. And every single person that worked there was extra nice and were more than happy to answer our questions.
Also, all the other tourists we met were nice, fun and, most important, respectful!!

I am not an Elvis fan, but definitely love history and always wanted to visit Graceland. We booked a VIP tour for about $145 per person. We did not use the audio. The staff were very warm and friendly from beginning to end. Design was well done giving guests food and souvenir options along the tour. Nice job of breaking things up to give guests little breaks from the heat. While not really a “mansion” by today’s standards, definitely reflective of what was considered a mansion at the time. You can feel the nostalgia and warmth of family as you walk around the property. So glad this was preserved and shared with the public. So worth a visit if you are heading to Memphis.

Of all the roads in Memphis, the mile of Elvis Presley Blvd that goes past Graceland is so rough with potholes, pavement missing and whole lanes fallen apart. Per locals, it's been this way for several months and we saw no one working on it the whole week we were there. It's ridiculous and looks bad.

My first time there. All the exhibits, planes, and Graceland were very interesting. We spent 5-6 hours there and probably didn't see everything.

You can do it. Once seen, you never have to go again. We had the tour for 82 dollars, which included the planes in addition to Elvis' parents' house. All in all, it was less cheesy than thought, but also not as stunning. Above all, the tour is very expensive for what you see. I wouldn’t book the much more expensive VIP tours, which are probably only for hard-core Elvis fans.

Always wanted to visit Graceland and it was even better than I imagined, a really special day and one I’ll remember for the rest of my life. We did the UVIP package, and it was well worth the money. We had our own tour guide, who was so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, she made sure we had got everything out of the experience, and ensured we had the space we needed to really take everything in. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

The tour of the mansion and grounds was really interesting. The focus was always on early Elvis and his family when they were was young. The meditation garden was touching. Then there are just too many additional exhibits. While we enjoyed seeing the cars after that it was just too much. We decided not to see all of the display rooms nor the planes.

Mom had been asking to see Graceland for years. We finally had our chance!!
From the mansion itself, to the grounds, the museum and the airplanes.
Well worth the money! If you ever get the chance to visit, GO!! You will love every minute.
The museums are separated into different areas starting with Elvis’ cars/motorcycles, his costumes, childhood, a place to view a concert, the army and even an area on how he influenced today’s musicians.
Then of course, Gladys’ diner & Verns Smokehouse!!
You don’t wanna miss this tour!

Wow been waiting over 40 years to visit, didn’t disappoint. Booked ultimate tour and we were first so the house was empty except us and our guide for quite some time. House is so Elvis those that adore him know the rooms, they were smaller than I thought but it fitted just amazing, the racquet ball course and music was emotional then followed by the graves. The tour was three hours we got separate bus just for us, our guide Bobby was great. We got to handle Elvis cape and a TCB ring. The tour after the house included another two Hours with Bobby over at the exhibits. Lunch included in the ticket at Vernon’s which was a nice meal and break. We then spent another 3-4 hours going round everything still to see. Negative was some of the staff were indifferent and not friendly which takes some shine off when you are so excited to visit.

Knowing that we would only visit Graceland once, we decided to get the most from our experience by taking the Ultimate VIP tour. We were hopeful it would be time and money well spent and that we would not only see all there was to see, but enhance or knowledge and understanding of Elvis. In a review of The Guest House at Graceland, where we spent two nights, I mention how our stay in this adjacent hotel enhanced the whole Elvis experience for us. I should mention that we were never great Elvis fans, but recognise the pivotal role he played in music and social culture, which made us want to seek out the source and learn more about his life.
In early June we took the 9.15 tour with our guide and just three other guests, so we were off to a good start with the small group, making it easy to ask questions and discuss what we were seeing. We did have a little difficulty with the thin voice of our guide and the way she spoke. I don’t mean her accent, but the voice itself, so we didn’t always catch everything she was telling us. Nevertheless, she was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and made our three-hour plus tour enjoyable.
Approaching and entering the mansion, we could see it as a home that was lived in. It was easy to imagine Elvis on the couch strumming his guitar, in the kitchen making a sandwich or playing records on his high tech jukebox. Our guide took us to his garage, his racquetball building and to an archive where we could get close and touch several interesting Elvis artefacts. Our tour continued with a shuttle ride across the road to “Elvis Presley’s Memphis” where our guide introduced us to each of the exhibit halls with Elvis’ cars, his costumes, his military service history, his many awards and several gift shops. Our guide then left us to explore these at our leisure. We spent nearly two hours in the various exhibit halls, but decided to forego a visit to Elvis’ airplanes over near the entrance from the road, only because we were "toured out".
We were pleasantly surprised at how well-kept and how well-presented everything was, apart from the bare lawns in front of the mansion. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, providing answers to our questions and giving us a new understanding of several aspects of Elvis’ life. We had already been impressed with the Guest House at Graceland where we spent two nights and we were equally impressed with Graceland itself. Contrary to some rather negative reports about staff demeanour, we found every Graceland employee with whom we came in contact to be friendly and helpful, as we had done at the Guest House.
The only let down was that all UVIP tours starting before 1.45pm include an obligatory additional $26pp for lunch in Vernon’s Steakhouse which is nothing more than an austere cafeteria serving mostly tasteless fried food in a setting that would not be out of place in the county jail. It was hard to understand why Graceland management would want to “oblige” their guests to conclude their experience on such a negative note that was so out of line with the quality of the previous four hours. The more I think about it, the more I believe that this “restaurant” and its food should be demolished and expunged from memory. This was the only part of the whole Graceland experience where we felt disappointed and gouged. The contrast between the quality of the whole Mansion/Exhibit/Guesthouse experience and this bleak cafeteria was astonishing. However, we will not let that detract from the wonderful time we had at Graceland learning about the life of one of music’s greatest icons. Just remember to forego the lunch even if you are obliged to pay for it as part of the pre-1.45pm tour packages. End your tour on a high note by steering well clear of the egregiously misnamed Vernon’s Steakhouse.

Everything is here giving an opinion-free insight into the life of Elvis Presley. You can't go upstairs in Graceland but you can see everything else from Elvis' birth certificate to his jumpsuits (they are displayed 3/4 high in a huge room!). This is highly recommended.
The only downside was the attitude of the staff in the food area. They were unhelpful and too busy chatting or playing on phones. When serving, they were rude and clearly didn't want to interact (or even ring up and give change!).

We very much wanted to visit Graceland as we are fans of Elvis. The house is unique. The various museum displays such as cars and costumes were interesting. The gravesites were very touching. The Lisa Marie was interesting such as the seat belt on the bed. Disappointed in the food.

I understand that going to menphis, Elvis' house is a pretty much a must-see, though, honestly it seems more suitable for diehard fans

Graceland in Memphis is a unique place, especially for Elvis fans, but also for those who only know it superficially. As a regular visitor for over 40 years, I have witnessed many changes, especially the new complex, which includes a cinema and several museums. These were formerly part of Graceland Mansion, but are now divided separately.
Unfortunately, the value for money is disappointing. You pay $84 per person to enter Graceland Mansion today – $41 in 2019, $34 in 2014! The high price increase is hardly justified, even if additional exhibitions such as the “Lisa Marie” aircraft are now included in the ticket.
The cost of souvenir photos is also excessive: around $40 for all images, and for digital downloads, $12 is added – that is simply outrageous. Despite the criticism, the Mansion itself remains impressive. Thanks to audio guides in many languages, you can move through the rooms at your own pace – a significant improvement over the previous guided tours.
I recommend a visit in the winter months, as there are fewer visitors here and hardly any waiting times. If you take your time, you can really soak up the atmosphere and spend a good two to three hours there. The souvenir shops offer a wide selection, but here too the prices are high.
Although I have visited Graceland 14 times and love the atmosphere, I will do without it in the future due to the high cost. For fans, Graceland is a must-see – especially since it was the center of life for Elvis and his family. Elvis used to be a cash cow for people who just wanted to make money out of him. In the end, he may not have gotten that old because of that. But this is exactly the path he didn't want. To make a lot of money out of his name again.

Elvis Presley was uniquely American and copied all over the world. His influence on American music was enormous. Regardless if you liked his music, his legacy lives on. The tour we were on covered the mansion and all the adjacent buildings and even two of his airplanes. Seeing videos of his family were touching and moving. He was a complex man with a very generous heart. A must visit when in Memphis.

We bought tickets for Graceland and Jets $84. We paid $10 to park at Graceland which I thought was ok and plenty of parking. Might seem a lot to some but we were there from 10am till 4.30pm and I would say money well spent. Was bucket list and more ticked off.. So much to see… just be aware that all the shops sell slightly different things and you might find something you prefer in another so don’t buy the first thing you see, you can always go back… Had a diner on site to eat.. again reasonably priced.. Go and enjoy.. bring back the joys of Elvis

Huge Elvis fans here! Awesome tour. You are able to go back around as many times as you want so take your time. Make sure you visit the planes!!

We took our yearly sister trip to Memphis and we wanted to see Graceland. Our tour guide John was fantastic. I would encourage folks to buy the VIP experience. He shares great informative stories regarding Elvis and his family. We loved this trip along with the memories that were made.

My wife and I bought tickets online for the 3:45 tour on February 10. We'd driven from Pensacola, FL that day. She's a huge fan and this was a bucket list item for her. The staff seemed disinterested, with the exception of one gentleman who was great to talk to in the "race track room". The house and room descriptions were interesting. Unfortunately, they decided to close early that day and not tell anyone about it, so we were surprised to be greeted with locked doors at about half of the "Elvis Discovery Exhibits". This was very disappointing, especially since the admission cost was over $170 for us. I probably wouldn't go back there.

Great to visit this iconic place. My wife and I paid extra for a VIP tour with tour guide and private bus for a small group. You can pay less for a self guided tour. (should be fine).
Plan to spend over three hours. You can spend the whole day if you want to see everything Graceland has to offer.

We did the Ultimate VIP tour as a birthday treat for my history loving husband. We were not disappointed! The best part was our tour guide, John. Graceland and its museums were absolutely amazing but John brought it all to life. His ability to share history with humor, heart and emotion made for a captivating experience. In addition to our time exploring the house with John as our guide, we went to the archives and were able to meet that team. We learned a lot about their very interesting work. Very kind, friendly and fun team of people especially DeeDee. We really had such an amazing time. Graceland is truly one of a kind, just like Elvis.

This has been on my bucket list for so long. It didn’t disappoint, so much to see and although I have been a long life Elvis fan I learned so much more about his life. We thought we would only be there for a few hours but ended up spending the whole day there. This is a must stop visit if you are in Memphis.

Not being a fan of, Elvis I must admit that the presentation of life , career is quite successful and exciting.
For the fans it must be ecstasy.
When in the shops you will be spoiled they are filled with a multitude of objects.

I have never paid much attention to Elvis or his music. My wife wanted to go. A 4 week tour of America and I have to say, this was the best thing we did in the whole 4 weeks!!! Amazing! I would go again. Just being inside his house was superb! You could literally feel the history! We did a VIP tour which meant there was only 6 of us but any tour which gets you in the house will be more than worth the money! I am now an Elvis fan!!!

WOW! What a dream come true. All my expectations were not disappointed. What a truly amazing place this is. Elvis fan or not, this is a great place to visit.
The ultimate VIP tour is well worth it. Our tour group had 9 people in total. The guide was so knowledgeable and helpful, answering questions while sharing stories with every turn.
Perfectly preserved and maintained throughout.
The entire experience at the house and complex was 10/10.

I was in your city last year for Lisa Marie’s Memorial it was a little scary with the boarded-up houses, homeless people and garbage everywhere. I have tentatively booked another trip to Memphis in October. I am very nervous coming back to your city. The Murder, Crime that has been happening within the last couple of months has me re-thinking spending my vacation in your city. I am sure you are well aware of the dire need for a zero tolerance on crime. You have even made National News about meeting with the Gang Members in your community for a cease fire. Its doesn’t seem to be helping from the recent shootings and break-ins of your guests that come to visit for work or pleasure. The last break in if I am not mistaken was overnight yesterday on May 9th, 2024. 20 cars at the Hilton Garden Inn. I could go on and on but, you do know what is happening in your city.
How do you expect your tourism to bring in millions of dollars when you have 3 security Guards being shot at on Beale Street? I think that was about 2 weeks ago? Graceland is located in the middle of a war zone! Your local residents tell you to stay in side when it gets dark! You have residents of Memphis on Tick Tok telling people to stay away! Someone this week lit a fire in the local Walmart just because? Fox 13 Memphis on Facebook has more devasting news its just sad. You need help! Reach out to other large cities that have this problem(I know statistically Memphis is number one in murder and crime). Unfortunately I hate to say it but, what you are doing is not working.
I have been sitting back and watching to see what happens, and if anything changes before I decide to come to Memphis or cancel my trip. If you are short on Police Officers, PLEASE have the governor invoke the National Guard to help. You are losing your city and there is no time to just stand there. PLEASE HELP YOUR CITY BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
The Mayor Never responded to my concerns neither did EPE. If you go on Tick Tok you will find a recent crime right in Graceland's Parking Lot where a person had their truck broken in too. So sad what it has become.

I did the Ultimate Tour and it was very enlightening. Our guide (John) was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tour was very emotional for me since I am such an Elvis fan. I had lots of questions but did not feel they were appropriate in front of the others in my group who were from Ireland and probably viewed the tour more as a tourist attraction rather than a pilgrimage (which it was to me). Anyone who loved Elvis should see Graceland at least once. I waited until I was 70 before I was able to go but it was well worth the money and the wait. I stayed at the Guesthouse, which is very nice - not overly friendly, but a safe place to stay since I went alone.

My mom and I went on the UVIP tour and it was AMAZING! First of all, I have to shoutout our tour guide, Mandy. She was absolutely wonderful and share so many interesting facts and answered all our group's questions. Second, take the 8:45am tour. You get about 15-20 minutes alone in the house with your small group. It was really special to go through the gates and up to the house with barely anyone there and take in the external view, then go into the house itself. It was so quiet and beautiful. My only wish would be that we got a little more time in the house before the other tours started! I had never been to Graceland before and it was really interesting to see the house in real life. You don't need to be a huge fan to appreciate what you see and learn while touring the house grounds.
After going through the grounds, you get to go into the archives building and see some special pieces up close and even hold one! We got to hold the famed TCB diamond ring (which to be honest, I didn't even know how important this was until I searched it!). Then, we went over to the museum back across the street and our guide took us briefly through the cars, then the career exhibit. I loved seeing all the famous outfits!
The only downside to the whole thing (which is minimal to be honest) was the meal that came with the UVIP ticket. You can use the voucher at Vernon's or Gladys's. Gladys's Diner was meh at best, but it part of the ticket cost, so I can't complain too much. I was very excited about trying a fried peanut butter & banana sandwich and it was a disappointment.
Overall, though, 10/10 and would do it again!

John B was our tour guide for the ultimate vip tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about Elvis’s life and career. He had multiple stories behind the exhibits and we couldn’t stump him on questions! The archive experience where we were up close with Elvis’s personal items (i.e., cape from his butterfly jumpsuit, TCB ring, onyx ring, leather belt, and others) was beyond our expectations. John gave us the background of every item. If you take a tour, ask for John. You won’t be disappointed.

First time visitor to Graceland and it didn’t disappoint. One of the more expensive attractions (by US standards) that we visited but it was worth it. You could lose a day here easily. After the visit to the mansion the exhibits at the main complex are never ending. A highlight was the motor exhibit and the display of Elvis’s costumes. There is no shortage of gift shops and lunch at Gladys’s diner helped recharge the batteries. I would recommend a minimum of 4 hours but you could easily do more especially if you are an Elvis enthusiast.

Graceland and museums were all fabulous. Well worth the trip. That being said, it's all a money grab and be ready to be assertive with staff. While waiting to enter the home, the tour guide was not loud enough. Someone in the back asked if she could speak louder and the tour guide's response was to move up, she does not have a megaphone. I was standing right next to the guide and it was still difficult to hear especially while the shuttle busses were there and guests waiting across the driveway.
My mothers ipad died half way thru the tour so i had to find a staff member to replace it. That went smoothly but then no one wanted the ipad that died. 3 members pushed me off. Every museum has a gift shop before going in. It's nearly all the same stuff. Had lunch at Glady's Diner be prepared for a @#$& show. it is pure chaos. Warm beverages, we told a staff member who once again pushed us off to tell another. Their response, you just need to wait, the machine makes it own ice. 5 minutes later, i saw 2 different staff members putting ice in the machine.
The plane exhibit was even more maddening. Same entrance for people going in/out. Once again all takes place thru the giftshop.
Also be prepared to pay for parking.

Came here with family, was always on my bucket list and did not disappoint at all. Have loved Elvis all my life. As have family. Was amazing to see his home, and other parts of the building such as the squash court, farm parts and also the memorial garden where Elvis, his parents, grandma and more recently his daughter and grandson are buried. That was emotional and very moving. I will definitely plan to return again someday. If your an Elvis fan it won't disappoint. Well worth the money in my opinion.

My family and I went to Graceland for the self-guided tour. The home is very small/tight (it was meant to be a home, not a museum, after all), and as such the tour groups run into regular bottlenecks and you don't get to stay in any of the rooms very long. The tone of the experience is very sterile and somber, which makes sense since this is where he and his family are laid to rest. But I felt like the tour itself and the way the artifacts are displayed didn't give a holistic sense of who he was as a person or celebrate his artistry in a meaningful way.
If you're a fan of The King, it's worth the visit, but the cost of entry is excessive. Understood that there are expenses to maintaining the premises, but $84 per ticket is far too much (for frame of reference, Westminster Abbey in London is half of that).

We stopped here when we were on our 24 day bus trip to the deep south with Nagel Tours. We had to spend all day there as my wife is an Elvis Fanatic .This is my 3rd time there and my wifes 4 time there .I could not care less, but she had a good time.I would recommend this place atleast once .You have to see it .

Dream come true to visit Graceland and it didn't disappoint, we did the UVIP tour it was fantastic our guide was great , loved seeing the house , meditation garden planes etc and holding Elvis' cape , the museum over the road was fantastic could of spent days there .

I was not aware of all there was to see and do. John, our VIP tour guide, was the best. There is so much to see and do; I could spend several days and not see all of it. I waited a long time to experience it, and it was so much more than I expected.

Fantastic trip, lovely place, lovely people, lots to do and see, heaven for any Elvis fan. Fantastic downtown restaurants.

Just an amazing spot to visit. From the visit to the mansion, to his vehicles and plane, to seeing his amazing collections of clothing, the tour just gets better and better!

Touted Graceland via experience tour. Recommend using the I pad, it made it easier than reading. Self paced. I enjoyed the Graceland tour, the additional museums were ok. Have a lot of gift shops

The Ultimate VIP Tour was fully worth their money.
When we arrived, we arrived about 1 hour before.
There were 12 people on our tour - nobody on the 9:45 tour.
Want the earlier tour? JA!
Ultimately we were on a private tour with our guide Ronny. Great experience, great tour.
Graceland is an experience for every Elvis fan.

Even if you’re not an Elvis Fan this is a must. I’m a massive Elvis fan so my dream came true my husband isn’t but he loved every minute of it. Don’t put it off book today you won’t regret it

Absolutely loved everything about this place. I am not the biggest Elvis fan ever but this felt a must do. The staff was helpful and friendly (contrary to some reviews I read). The ipad and audio tour is excellent and you can take as long as you want, pausing the commentary as required. The graves of 5 generations of Presleys were incredibly moving. The museum section is extraordinary and huge. Much much more than I had expected. We were a little restricted for time and spent about 3 and a half hours here but could have easily spent another couple of hours and that’s as a non fan!

An excellent day. This was a bucket list experience for my husband’s 60th birthday. We did the UVIP tour and our guide John was extremely knowledgeable and really made the tour for us. The house and grounds were kept well. The aeroplanes were great to see especially, Lisa Marie.
Lots of exhibits to see and be prepared to spend the day there. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the food at Vernons grill. Disappointing and cold.
Overall a must when inMemphis for all.

If you are an Elvis fan, you will love going to Graceland. I believe this is a great experience even if you weren’t an Elvis fan. It’s really well done. The house is frozen in time, and you can envision E in their with his guys. But when you move to the museum you will be amazed. Tons to see. And the addition of the Lisa Marie exhibit is great, and very sad.

What a great time. Loved it. This was probably my 5th time, but 1st since the pandemic. The complex across the street is really well done. The added room in honor of Lisa Marie was a very nice touch. Well done
PS - the PBB sandwhich with the bacon grease was money well spent!

As someone who visits Graceland somewhat regularly, I’m always amazed at how much there is to take in—and how the experience continues to grow and improve without losing what makes it special.
The mansion itself never loses its charm. No matter how many times I’ve walked through those rooms, it still feels personal, a little surreal, and deeply rooted in the story of Elvis as a person—not just a performer. From the Jungle Room to the Meditation Garden, there’s something grounding about being there.
The visitor center across the street has become a destination in its own right. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. Whether you’re browsing Elvis’ cars, seeing the famous jumpsuits up close, or just soaking in the atmosphere, it’s clear a lot of care has gone into making this a first-class experience.
I did the Ultimate VIP tour this time, which added some great touches—a guided mansion tour, private artifact viewing, and access to a VIP-only exhibit—but Graceland itself is the reason I keep coming back. It captures the heart and history of Elvis in a way no documentary or book ever could.
The only thing I’d change? I wish the meal voucher worked at Gladys’ Diner—those burgers are legit—but the meatloaf and fried okra at Vernon’s Smokehouse hit the spot.
If you’ve never been, go. If you’ve been before, go again. Graceland still has that magic.

A really cool place to checkout. Even if you are not the biggest Elvis Presley fan, it is still worth taking the time and money to come here.

Our 3rd visit to Graceland over the span of 15 years. This was by far the worst experience. All the older staff have gone. Most staff used to volunteer and were so happy in their work. You could tell they felt privileged to work there. Unfortunately that is not the case for the staff that have replaced them. From the tickets onwards, not one smile, not one hello, not one thank you. Most looked bored and some in the diner were on their phones. The diner staff were the most rudest staff I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Disrespected me to my face. Too much bother for them to make me a gluten free sandwich as they only make them in the morning. She told me she’d have to cut up a banana and get the peanut butter out !!!! So incredibly rude, witnessed by others. Sadly none of us will return. I can’t understand Graceland. What have you done ?

The bus was super comfortable. The guides were very knowledgeable. We would have liked more time to visit his birthplace. We felt like we were very rushed. We had to wait for the restaurant to get our lunch ready. That time could have been used for more time to sight see at his birthplace. Overall, great trip.

We did the VIP tour. It's worth a visit if you are an Elvis fan. It was smaller than I expected, but the grounds are great. Lots of history with the museums on site. Several museums, including one that highlights his military history. Several gift shops and restaurants (we did not eat there). If you are an Elvis fan, then it's a must visit ~ He was indeed, The King ~

We picked the "Elvis Experience and Planes" and it was fascinating, we could have spent much more time. We did not feel rushed anywhere and everybody was really pleasant. If you are a fan of Elvis this is a must as a lot of memorabilia has been preserved and is knowingly explained. The display of Elvis's outfits is breathtaking.

PRESLEY FOR A DAY TOUR🫶🏼
We did the Presley for a day tour as we had done the UVIP tour before twice so wanted something a little different. We booked this and within hours someone was in contact with me to plan out the details for our trip (Jonathan was amazing!), if we had any questions or wanted anything added he did this for us and it really made it special how we could accommodate and tailor the trip to our needs.
Our tour guide was John and he was also amazing! He knew everything about Elvis and even told us stories of seeing him live himself which was really cool. He took us and showed us places where other tours do not get to go and it was really interesting to see all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to keep Elvis’s legacy going.
We got to hold many different artefacts that included a scarf that Elvis wore, his army hat and also a sailing hat. (I did ask to hold different things to what we had held before and they accommodated this request on our tour.)
John also took time out the schedule to do things that we specifically requested such as taking photos in certain locations. John also was very friendly and had a good sense of humour which was really appreciated throughout the tour, you can also tell he is very passionate about Elvis and that he loves his job very much which was lovely to see.
One of the highlights from our day was definitely the dinner at Moraia house which over sees the back yard of Graceland. The food was amazing and the chefs were lovely as well explaining the food in detail and answering any questions we had. They also allowed us to make changes to the menu and accommodate some requests that we would like added to it.
We really loved how we also got to enter the house in the evening without any one else there which was very special and makes this a complete one of a kind experience.
If anyone is going to do this tour I would highly recommend it and John as a tour guide as he made this worth it!

The most amazing place I have ever seen ... A real home and still in a great condition. You see all the rooms where Elvis lived laughed and loved a real bucket list

Elegance and grace. From the moment you pass through the gates, it's Breathtaking. A step back in time was so beautifully done.
The Memory garden with their Graves was gorgeous.

I wasn't for event Fan to consider. But this visit is really sublime...everything is perfectly adapted. Few queues during visits to different buildings or exhibition rooms
The ticket is expensive but justified.
We left enchanted after 4:00 on the site.
You can not miss this if you plan to visit Memphis.

Doing the Ultimate VIP tour with John Beach as our guide was a most unforgettable experience! We booked the first available slot for the day, and practically had Graceland to ourselves. John has so much knowledge - it makes you feel like he was on hand for everything that happened - dates, times - everything! We feel like we know every detail about Graceland that we Therese wouldn’t have known. So worth it! Thank you John!

We’re not huge Elvis fans, but we enjoy Elvis and this was so worth it for any fan of early rock and roll. SO much to see and experience. Although the commercialism would make Col Parker blush, you are not forced into it. Bucket list. I wish the gift shops had merchandise that was a little more unique.

Our tour guide John was absolutely amazing!! I don’t really write reviews but boy oh boy, this gentleman really deserves one! Not only was he VERY knowledgeable, he was super funny, extremely kind and you can genuinely tell he enjoys his job! We had the best time and I would 1000% do it again 😊 also, our tour bus driver Rex was so sweet, like John he made the day extra special. As an Elvis fan, this trip is a MUST if you are visiting Graceland! We hope we can return again soon and do it all again! Thank you so much John and Rex, we appreciate you making it such a special experience! TCB always ⚡️♥️

The Elvis museums are very attractively designed and offer deep insights into his life. Particularly exciting is the theme of his time in the army and in Germany, which illuminates many facets of his biography.
However, it is also clear that his legacy often serves as a money machine, when in reality he was lonely and lost. The topic of mental health, which was unfortunately still a taboo topic at the time, is only indirectly addressed, but leaves room for reflection.
The luxury he has lived is impressive and makes you think about what is really behind the glitz and glamour. Overall, the exhibition offers a multifaceted perspective on the life and challenges of Elvis Presley.

I loved my visit to Graceland but I found that it was very old and worn but realise that it is probably accurate for its age. As we were in a line of people going through the house, some people in front could take a very long time to move and it was not possible to pass. Being in a wheelchair made it very difficult although it does say Wheelchair accessible but it's not practical unless you are one of only a few people there. The rest of our look around the museums was very informative and I learnt lots of new things about Elvis and his family.

My mom and I visited this week for All-American Weekend. This was our second experience for this event and enjoyed every moment! We extended our stay a few days and booked the Inside the Archives UVIP tour! Our tour guide John was very knowledgeable and had amazing stories as we toured the mansion and the complex. He has a true heart and passion for the person and legacy Elvis left behind. I highly recommend him for all VIP tours. The experience is worth every penny. We can’t wait to return for a another amazing experience at Graceland!

Our family was driving from Bowling Green, KY to Vicksburg and decided to stop at Graceland midway to break up the drive . None of us are huge Elvis fans, but we all had an amazing time! We started with lunch at Vernon’s (the brisket was SO good), then checked out the exhibits (the planes, the clothes…😮), and then did the home tour. We almost didn’t pay the extra for the house tour, but I’m so glad we did! It was like a time capsule, and the self-guided tour utilizing the tablets and head phones worked really well and provided so much info. You truly don’t have to be a huge fan to enjoy this stop. My teen boys even agree.

We just recently took the Archive VIP tour. John was our tour guide and he did an absolutely great job! He made the tour interesting and fun. So if taking this tour we hope he will be your guide.

Great experience to see Graceland and the Elvis museum. Have yet to see a museum in the US and Canada that compares. Only downside was the availability of good food onsite. Two cafes with one cafe serving up raw chicken with salad and didn't want to provide a refund.

Very emotional to walk through the front door, seeing the young Elvis photo on the wall at the bottom of the stairs.
Very surreal, to be in Elvis’s house, very humble man he was, very good tour, definitely recommend it whilst in Memphis.
Beautiful house and gardens.

Not a massive Elvis fan, but he was so talented and iconic we decided to go. We took an uber from Memphis (we stayed at The Peabody Hotel which was amazing). Was a brilliant insight into his life, we loved it. So much to see, a huge exhibition, his house, cars, outfits and awards. Was definitely worth a visit 💯. Go to Sun studios while your in Memphis too.

We celebrated a birthday on tour at Graceland with the first tour of the day and our guide, John was outstanding. So many good stories and so knowledgeable. Highly recommended! Thank you to John for making our day special.

We did the Graceland home self-guided tour and museums. They were great, no issues there. However, their online booking and customer service left a lot to be desired. They advertise a 6% discount for AAA/seniors, and I attempted numerous times to book it that way online, and received a booking code to use. However, the system still totaled it as full price, and warned that "there are only 3 tickets left". So I went ahead, figuring I could produce a screenshot at the ticket office for a credit. No such luck. Both the ticketing person and onsite customer service agent said they couldn't help, since I'd already paid for the tickets. They also said the system does that sometimes, and I should have just waited to buy the tickets onsite. When I told them it warned of limited availability they said that was wrong, there were plenty of tickets. Not the response I expected, so I contacted the corporate office through their website. After a week and a half and a couple follow ups on my part, still have not heard back. This is not an inexpensive ticket ($82 per person), and they should have a more reliable online experience, and better customer service.

We purchased the ultimate VIP package $235 it was so worth every cent, our lunch was included in Gladas restaurant in graceland which was very tasty. Our tour guide was Shaun, he was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend this if you are visiting Memphis.

VIP TOUR - now self guided - no-one was friendly the server dishing the condiments in Vernons at 11.00am on 16/5/25 should be sacked she was like a cat with a slapped face rude banging stuff everywhere- This is my second trip my last one 6 years ago I don’t know what has changed but the place gets a big ‘0’ save your money the VIP is a big RIPOFF

We did the ultimate tour, a little pricey but well worth it, ive waited 60 yrs to get here and, loved every minute. We took advantage of the 7.30 - 8.30 slot to visit the meditation garden, before the crowds arrived. Our guide sally was amazing very knowledgeable. If your an Elvis fan you won't be disappointed. Take tissues as it can be very emotional.

If you are an Elvis fan this is the place to go. We saw a lot about Elvis and his house was a sight to behold. There were a variety of exhibits to see everything to you need to know about Mr. Presley. I wish it wasn’t so much money though. $40 for kids is too much.

John was an absolute legend at giving us a memorable UVIP tour. His passion for Graceland and the Presley Family; along with his extensive knowledge, was second to none. I highly recommend this tour and if possible, ask for John. My wife and I truly appreciated his light-hearted humour, and detailed stories.
John, thank you for the memories!!!
10/10

Unless you are a die- hard Elvis fan, this is a waste of time. The access to the Mansion is so poorly executed, most of your time is spent waiting in line. A private tour held us up for more than 20 minutes while the guide helped an elderly person fiddle with his headset. On the shuttle, that we waited more than 10 minutes for, the driver wouldn’t let my cane-using husband sit in the handicap seats. In fact, no one sat there so that meant 3 more people had to wait for the next one. The introductory movie is wonderful as are the car collection and the planes.

We took the UVIP tour, John was our tour guide he gave us an amazing tour of the mansion with lots of stories and great information. We got to see a lot of unique things, many of Elvis’s items and outfits were displayed in the museums. It was an amazing day we got to see and do so much.

You would think that a mega star like Elvis would have a million square foot mansion. Elvis' home is very modest. You get to tour the first floor, the basement, and the grounds. There is so much information to read and learn. The grounds are nice. The Elvis family graves are also on the premises. You get to know Elvis as person as well as a performer. Across the road, there are multiple buildings with lots of Elvis and Elvis related exhibits. His cars, his airplanes. There are places to eat, and a video in the visitor's center. A great place to visit.

I enjoyed visit. More walking thanI thought.Friendly staff
Good job Presley family.Good food. Weather perfect. Cars and planes cool.

Firstly, there is so much to see at Graceland you must allocate sufficient time to see all the exhibits, as well as the tour of the home of Elvis Presley. Although the tour is timed, we did not have a guide but just went around the property. It was spine tingling to be in the family home of Elvis where so many stories have created but is as if time stood still in the lower floor.
Please do not he like some voices we heard complaining you do not have access to upper rooms, it is clear that this is not part of the tour.
All areas have guides available giving information about the various areas.
There are also large exhibits of various vehicles, aircraft, costumes, records, military service, Elvis’s family, and other former/current musicians making donations to the museum collections.
Extremely moving in the area around the swimming pool…IYKYK.

We purchased the Ultimate VIP experience at Graceland. Our tour guide John was THE BEST. He was personable, a wealth of knowledge and incredibly welcoming. We loved every minute of the tour and grounds.

I was very much looking forward to seeing Graceland and the tour did not disappoint. We took the experience tour ($82 est.) per person and it was perfect. The tour of the Presley house was very interesting. The house and grounds were really nice. The audio that went with it was very helpful. The museums at the main entrance were great. Each one concentrates on a different area and there was a lot of interactive sites. They estimate 3-4 hours for the tour I took. We stayed about 6 because we took it slow and enjoyed every bit of it. There was a wonderful staff member (Ruth) at the gate to the Museums who was very helpful about how to go about seeing everything. She is the epitome of true southern friendliness and hospitality.
We ate the restaurant in the center of the museums. It was basic fast food but decent. I would highly recommend seeing Graceland to everyone!

This was my first visit to Graceland, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. We purchased the VIP package, and the entire experience—from touring the mansion to exploring the planes and exhibits across the street—was unforgettable. The tour was smooth and well-organized, and the included lunch at Vernon’s was delicious. The portions were generous, and the banana pudding......Absolutely amazing!
One of the most memorable parts of my visit was the wonderful staff, especially a woman named Christie. After our initial walkthrough of the house, I found myself wanting to go back and absorb more. As I walked down the stairs, I met Christie at her post and began asking a few lingering questions. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share even more about the home and Elvis's life. I honestly found myself wishing she had been with us during the original tour—she was that good!
As we finished up in the Meditation Garden, I spotted Christie again—even though her shift had ended. She stayed to chat, answer more of my questions, and shared fascinating Elvis facts as we walked out together and boarded the shuttle. Her passion and hospitality left such an impression.
Later, when I asked her about her lanyard, she didn't just point me in the direction—she personally showed me exactly where to find it so I could buy two for my collection. It’s a small thing, but it meant a lot. That kind of above-and-beyond service is rare.
I also want to give a special shoutout to a lovely woman working in the store across from Vernon’s. I didn’t get her name, but she was so patient and kind while I kept adding more and more Elvis goodies to the counter!
Graceland has always been a bucket list destination for me, and thanks to people like Christie and the wonderful woman in the shop, my visit was not only emotional and powerful—it was joyful. I left feeling inspired, moved, and so grateful for the experience.
Please commend these exceptional employees for making guests feel truly welcome. I’ll never forget it!

We took the courtesy bus from the hotel over to the house, then began a tour around the house, cars & planes, which was great, you can take a photo outside the front door of the house, even get to see the graves of Elvis & his family. There’s several souvenir shops dotted around to buy all your Elvis gifts & there’s places to eat & drink if you wish. We enjoyed our trip, a definite for all Elvis fans!!

Such a wonderful day at Graceland. So much to see and do - so much more than we can expected. It’s amazing to see. We took a few people that weren’t massive Elvis fans and it didn’t matter, they still loved it and thought it was wonderful to see. All staff helpful and friendly. We turned up just after our ticket time due to transport issues and they were very accommodating.

Absolutely worth seeing. Elvis was more than an amazing performer, he was just a gem of a human being. I learned so much about him that I did not know before, so touring his place totally worth it. We did the $84 special, which was wonderful and gave us a chance to see the mansion, automobiles, equestrian area, and meditation garden where he is buried. You could easily spend all day here just visiting the various exhibits. There are a couple of restaurants, just fyi. Plenty of parking. If you can, visit during the week in the afternoon, much quieter and gives you a little more time to explore. Totally worth it.

The tour of Elvis’ childhood home was fantastic. Loved the site. Enjoyed the different stops including Tupelo Hardware. The tour gets a 5 star rating however the tour advertised lunch at our own expense and then they brought us to a restaurant with a set burger buffet for $19pp. Burgers and fries were the only option. I asked our guide Larissa if we could go to the connecting restaurant to order something else. She said no, you can’t leave this room. My friend and I have dietary restrictions and this was an 8 hour tour with 4 hours left to go. Since our health wouldn’t allow us to eat burgers, we walked next door to order food. Larissa ran out, confronted my friend who explained about our dietary restrictions. Larissa told her she has to stay in the buffet room only and eat the burger bar or not! Another confrontation ensued again when we went to Tupelo’s Hardware with a heated argument when we looked in the window of a store next door.
The worst part about this tour was how we were treated like prisoners, required to purchase a $19 burger bar or starve and watching the tour guide get aggressive with us. Thus the lower rating. Don’t advertise lunch is at our own expense then force us to purchase something we can’t eat.
Shoutout to our driver Rex! He was the superstar of the tour!

We did the vip visit with John. He was fantastic. Really knowledgeable and clearly a real fan. He made it so interesting. It was amazing

It was moving, fun interesting. Enjoyed it thoroughly. John was a great VIP Tour Guide. He was super knowledgable and we were so happy he was our guide.

Great day but if you go for the later tours ( we did the 2-15 vip archive tour) then arrive a good few hours before ( we didn’t know you could) so you can do some of the museums and the planes prior to the actual house tour. By the time we got back it was a whistle stop tour from John our host ( who was fab and signed our tickets to come back the next morning as time ran out) sadly some others couldn’t come the next day, fortunately we where staying at the guest house (again fab) and had a 1pm bus so we where ok. As I say our guide was fab but he did repeatedly refute my claim that Elvis did get off the plane in 1960 at Prestwick airport Scotland, so John I’m sorry sir but your are wrong you can go research it and google Ian Ghee photographer, but seriously he was very informative and so passionate about Elvis.

Some people go to Memphis to see Graceland while others go to Graceland to see Memphis! My wife and I, traveling from New Jersey, the former. Graceland has some work to do with employee relations - some were nice and others, starting at the toll both, grumpy. Following a movie (needing an update), we had little difficulty navigating the shuttle and house tour: the docent was great and the house fantastic. Lots of mixed emotions - eerie, sad, and fascinating. After returning from Graceland to the museum complex, we toured the various studios of cars, outfits, and movie memorabilia. We loved the jump suit and gold record rooms! After viewing a screening of Elvis' concerts, my wife tripped and landed on her knee. The knee was swollen and in bad shape, but all an attendant could do was offer an ice pack. After watching a maintenance golf cart pass by, I was told we'd have to walk to our car, as there were no wheel chairs available. We spent the rest of the day in an ER! This was public relations at its worse; showing no training and minimal sympathy. Had Elvis been there he would have helped - “My fans want my shirt. They can have my shirt. They put it on my back.”

Made our second trip to Graceland. The first time we took the iPad tour. This time expense was no object so we took the Ultimate VIP Tour. It was worth it. We never had to wait in line. We also got an exclusive chance to see some Elvis items not otherwise on display.

I was really surprised at the location. I thought Graceland would be in beautiful surroundings....it definitely isn't...Memphis is a really run down place, definitely seen better days, no signs of recovery. Graceland itself is quite small. Very interesting tour, but wont take you long to walk round it. The "museum" over the road is very large...virtually everything Elvis ever touched or owned is exhibited. If you are a die hard Elvis fan you will love it...if you are mildly interested, as i was, its a great couple of hours. You cant go to Memphis and not visit.

I found Graceland very surreal i was in Elvis Presley home ,seen where he sat ,watched TV and had dinner ,walked around his gardens it is a beautiful place .
The meditation garden is beautiful not as big as i imagined but beautiful and the museum was huge .
We had the full day and even had lunch in the diner on the grounds .
We had a tour that was $84 but for that memory was worth every dime .
Not going to post to many pictures although I had taken a lot as I don't want to spoil your experience.

Since it had been 35 years since I last visited, I was amazed at the size of the complex and the displays. Graceland was as I remembered (a time capsule), and while the audio was interesting, I missed the guided tour of yore. Because my husband had never been and the exhibits had expanded tenfold since my last visit, we spent all day going through every building and looking at every item displayed. 5 hours later, we were on Elvis Overload and enjoyed the time that we spent onsite.
Skip the ice cream shop - it is not the best product.

I was in Graceland for the second time on January 1, 2025 taking my wife to meet, we took the VIP Tour that gave us exclusiveness at the entrance and some also exclusive environments. Compared to 2012 when I was the first time, the tour improved a lot, the organization of the exhibitions and environments became much better, to spend the whole day there. The only negative point I have to highlight is the Vernon’s Smokehouse restaurant does not accept cash, only card. A suggestion would be that VIP visitors and guests of the Guesthouse have exclusive discounts in the gift stores.

Loved loved loved 🩷 A really interesting piece of history. When we visited we were worried about crowds but we were able to do the tour in small groups at our own pace, which meant we had ample amounts of time to see the house and memorabilia.
My favourite part was the backyard with the horses and the Presley family resting place. The tributes left and Elvis’ songs playing made an emotional/reflective place to sit for a while.
Overall, an amazing place to visit for avid Elvis fans and even then you don’t have to be an avid fan!

I was part of a group of eight friends on the Presley for a Day VIP tour of Elvis Presley’s home Graceland. We were separated into two groups of four and assigned a tour guide. Our group had two guides. Our main man was John. John is AMAZING! He is passionate about Graceland and imparting his knowledge of it and the Presley family to his visitors. As well as John, we had Bobby with us. He is an experienced Graceland guide who was training to work with VIP tours. He was also great and filled us in with some bonus information on top of what John was giving us.
This is a relatively new type of tour for Graceland. We had access to the archives,Elvis’s airplanes, horseback riding, Elvis’s automobile museum, career history, awards, wardrobe and a variety of other iconic material.
We were treated to a Gourmet meal created for us by Chef Sonny. It was absolutely delicious!
Finally we were treated to a private tour of Elvis’s Graceland home. Fantastic!
All of this was brought alive by John and Bobby’s stories relating to every aspect of the items I have mentioned.
This is a well planned out all day event.
I am very thankful to John, Bobby, Sonny and the many other staff who made this a day to be relished.
I highly recommend this experience!
Thank you to the staff at Graceland.
PIGGY
(P.S.
I can move into Moriah’s house at a moment’s notice.)

Without words, it was my dream to visit this place. I’ve been a fan of Elvis since childhood and it was very exciting to be closer to his history.

We love Graceland and the King of Rock & Roll! The house was beautiful as always. We saw Lisa Marie and her son's burial plots for the first time. Elvis Presleys Memphis across the road is so nice! Love the planes and so much other stuff to see! Everything about all his movies and his jumpsuits and records etc etc. Restaurants and 7 giftshops also! You can stay a few hours or all day! Buy tickets online in advance is easiest too. Parking is $10 and you can buy that in advance too. We will go back again and again!

Truly amazing tour. Never been a huge fan of Elvis, but now I am. The guy was a total legend, I have a new found respect for the man and what he did for so many. Very worthwhile.
We did the VIP tour which was well worth it. They made you feel like a VIP the whole way round.

This is a fantastic experience. To experience how things were in the past is such a surreal moment. This is amazing if you are an Elvis fan! So much to do! And, if you aren't an Elvis fan, you can at least appreciate the story or decide you are an Elvis fan by the time your visit is over.

The Graceland Guesthouse is an absolute gem. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and well worth a visit. Graceland itself is just across a very busy road and also well worth visiting.

It was the icing on the cake of our Memphis visit. Going this time of year was perfect. Not too crowded and so interesting!

I really enjoyed the Graceland experience - especially if you are an Elvis fan. The tour center has thousands of memorbilia and the outifts are amazing. The house itself is a view of very crazy 1960's decorating and is over the top in a good way. Would recommend a self-guided tour as there are many things to see and you may not need a guide.

Visiting Graceland is an absolutely amazing experience and worth every penny. Yes, it is expensive; but if you plan your visit and allot enough time, you will immerse yourself in the life of the one and only Elvis Presley.
Graceland, the mansion, is located across the street from the main museum complex and, if you are coming just to visit Elvis' home, you will in all likelihood be disappointed. First, this was a mansion in its day but today would be considered a large colonial. This does not take away from the visit, but do not expect that you are going to see a Beverly Hills or Newport, RI, mansion. You also will only be visiting rooms on the first floor and basement level. The self-guided (with an interactive tablet) tour is very informative and we actually spent almost two hours just on the mansion property visiting the home, the detached buildings, and the memorial garden and grave sites.
Left as it was when Elvis passed away, the decor, furnishings, and entire experience will transport you back to the 70's.
Returning to the main museum complex, you will be treated to acres and acres of memorabilia. Airplanes, boats, car collections, record albums, stage jumpsuit displays, movie posters, etc. - the array of displays from Elvis' music and acting career is endless. There are many interactive displays and multiple areas where you can watch segments of movie, concerts, interviews, and more. We spent almost 3 hours in these buildings and still did not see everything. It was simply fascinating to see Elvis presented in so many ways and to see him as the entertainer, actor, father, husband, service member, and family member. Open yourself up to the entire experience (not just the mansion) and you will have a informative and very enjoyable day.
There are numerous shops and place to eat in the complex so come and spend the day.

We had the absolute pleasure of doing the VIP tour at Graceland, and our guide John made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing details and stories that brought Elvis’s world to life in such a personal and engaging way. John’s enthusiasm and passion were contagious, and he made us feel like we were on a private journey through history rather than just another tour. His warmth and attention to detail truly elevated the experience—he answered every question with insight and made the day so special.
If you’re visiting Graceland, I can’t recommend the VIP tour with John enough. He turned a great tour into an extraordinary one.

It was just alright. They crammed too many people in one group. The house is much smaller than what we might think and it sort of feels rushed. But overall it is nice to see once in your life time.

You need at least two days to soak all of this in. Book your tour time for very early morning and stay until late - you wont regret it.

As a visitor from the UK, we were extremely excited about our visit to Graceland.
We ordered our tickets in advance in order to visit the mansion, cars and aeroplanes.
Upon arrival we were advised that we needed to take a shuttle bus to visit his mansion, and that there was no other means to get to the house.
Unfortunately I suffer from claustrophobia, and as such am unable to travel on an enclosed bus.
As a result of this, was unable to visit the house.
I would have expected Graceland to have an inclusive approach for a range of disabilities, such as claustrophobia.
A simple solution would have been to use an open vehicle, such as a golf buggy.
It is disappointing that it was not made clear on the web ad it’s prior to booking that a shuttle bus transit would be required.
Having paid the full price to o visit the mansion, it is extremely disappointing that my husband and I were unable to were unable to visit the mansion.

Meeting the house where King of Rock lived for many years was amazing. It's a whole day trip and the complex is ready for it. The service in the snack bars and shops spread out there leaves little to be desired, but what really matters is to be there, to see places that mean a lot to the family and especially to Elvis Presley. The experience is very worthwhile and although expensive, it is the trip to Memphis, which, by the way, is quite far from the city.

$84 seemed very steep but you definitely get your money’s worth. As well as Graceland, you also get to see Elvis’ planes, cars, bikes, trophies, and costumes. There are also several other exhibits on the site as well as 2 restaurants. Elvis was one of the biggest stars of his day and clearly enjoyed all the trappings of his success. Graceland is well worth a visit, even if you aren’t a big Elvis fan.

Taking this tour was the perfect addition to our Girls Trip to Graceland. After visiting Graceland and Sun Studio our trip was completed with a trip to Tupelo to see where it all began for Elvis. Highly recommend this tour.

Travelled from UK to Orlando so my 3 sons secretly booked flights and hotels for me so I could visit Graceland. I paid for the ultimate VIP tour and it was worth every single cent. Uplifting , emotional, spiritual and just truly amazing. Yes I cried several times. Our tour guide Latrisha (apologies if I've misspelled or not pronounced it correctly) was so clued up on everything about the king. Tour lasted about 3.5hrs then we had a lovely lunch. Out of everything that blew me away the one thing that made my jaw drop was when we walked into his awards room. Wow, just shows what an amazing talent that man was and still is.

Very well presented but, unlike the Sun Studio tour, a bit over-commercialised for our liking and, emotionally, a bit soulless. Also, at the price, we did not understand why you need to pay $10 just to park your car in addition to the ticket price.

Enjoyed the tour, parking over the road only opened minutes before our tour time so felt a bit rushed, really enjoyed the walk through the house itself, I am not an Elvis fan at all but still enjoyed it. The exhibits opposite were OK but I felt like they had grabbed anything they could to pad out the exhibits. Glad we went.

My wife and I have toured during the summer. Wanted to come back for holiday tour of Christmas decor. Amazing! We did the evening tour of only 6 people, highly recommend! Costs more but dont have the hustle and bustle of crowds and more intimate to not have to rush! Was able to do the museums the next day and again be able to enjoy and not rush! Was not crowded at all for being the week after Thanksgiving.

If you don’t like Elvis this is the place not to go because everything that is dedicated to a Disneyland Elvis Presley we were there 30 years ago our honeymoon and we went back. It's changed a lot. Graceland has become an amusement park With its restaurants, shops etc. it is literally extraordinary to have managed to make a place too. Beautiful Elvis is present everywhere, we have the impression that he will open the door of his house to welcome us cars, costumes and personal effects all shot what say you love Elvis Presley you are a fan you must go

My trip to Memphis was brilliant I had a private tour which was amazing all booked by Markus Kendall young at hays travel got to say he was brilliant start to finish even though he was holiday same time as me if I had a problem he was there he’s a amazing guy thank you so much

Amazing to see all around the living areas but not allowed upstairs. Shuttle bus takes you to and from house which is across the road from the museums. Museums are amazing. So many artefacts! The highlight for me was all of Elvis’ jumpsuits. But all of his cars and bikes and aeroplanes are on display as well.

Whether you are an Elvis fan or not this is a must do if in Memphis. I visited about 10 years ago and there is so much more to see with all the added museums.

Graceland- The mansion the grounds and archives was a wonderful tour and experience. I’d recommend it to anyone who liked Elvis and Rick and roll. Well worth the money.

I got to experience the Ultimate VIP tour today, our tour guide’s name was John! He was just simply the best tour guide. He knows just a plethora of knowledge about the Presley family and Graceland itself. This man could and should write a book or be the narrator for the tour.
If I ever get the chance to do another vip tour, I would request John every single time.

We did the Ultimate VIP tour with John as our guide. He was absolutely amazing and there wasn't one question he couldn't answer. You can tell he is a true Ekvis fan. Highly recommend the tour but come early or plan to stay after so you can see everything

Our Tupelo day trip from the Guesthouse at Graceland was fabulous. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable and we had a nice lunch stop at Bulldog Burger. We really enjoyed everything there was to see at Elvis’ Birthplace including the museum, church service, statues and reflecting pond. They had a great gift shop as well. We also made stops at the Tupelo Hardware Company where Gladys bought Elvis’ first guitar, the Tupelo fairgrounds to see his statue and the visitor center. Highly recommend!

Elvis VIP experience. So much to see. Could spend a full day if you wanted to look and read every bit of Elvis life. Very interesting

This was awesome! Our whole family really enjoyed touring the house and complex across the street. Highly recommend!!

Graceland it’s self was great to see and walk through
The Diner there was terrible- dirty tables and ignorant cashier! Half the cold drinks machines not working and no ice- but then none of the staff cared either!
They obviously have the monopoly here and it shows that they don’t care

Graceland was a place that my husband and I both had on our bucket list. It was great! I have always been an Elvis fan and getting to see where he lived and all of the memorabilia was really something. I would love to go back and be able to take more time. But overall it was an amazing time and I would definitely recommend going!

Took my mum for her 60th birthday. Bought the UVIP tickets. We spent all day there. It’s so interesting, even as a non Elvis fan to be honest. There is so much to see. Our guide Elizabeth was knowledgeable and quite funny. We visited the memorial garden before our tour as well as part of the tour so managed to see it at a quiet time. House tour was quick as the rooms are actually cordoned off so you’re not wandering around too close but able to see and take photos. The cars were beautiful and the display of Elvis suits were fabulous.
Food at vernons was good but I could do without it being served on a polystyrene plate as if I’m a child. Proper plates so I can eat like an adult would be great.

Did the tour of Graceland and the museums. Very enjoyable tour of the house, outbuildings and gardens. Got the audio guide which guides you around the ground floor of the house. It's an amazing experience. Then went around the museum and looked at all his cars and jets. We were a bit late for our assigned time but they was no issue getting in.

Very good nice guide John and good driver Rex. All the most beautiful Elvis hotspots are allowed to discover and visit. Very special and dear to the Elvis fans. Highly recommended for whoever visits graceland.

Still coming down from the emotional high of seeing Elvis's home! It was so incredible walking through the rooms of the house, hearing all the details of his time there, and his thoughtful design of the house and grounds. It still feels very much like a home, not like a museum at all. Like he could walk through the door at any moment! Had to hold back tears at his grave site, but the meditation garden is beautiful and a clear testament to his faith, which was comforting. The tour design was great, giving you plenty of time to make your way through the house and reflect in each space. The Ipads used for the audio tour were a little bulky, would have preferred something a little smaller, but the narration itself was great and informative. There were also very helpful staff around to answer questions. (Some of the staff in the museums were a little unfriendly, but the ones in the house were great and there was one fantastic gentleman who was a highlight.) The exhibits in the museums were amazing too, so much to see, we could have spent another day there easily! Highlights were the cars and career exhibits. (The airplanes could use a little restoring.) Definitely plan on coming back, and would recommend to anyone visiting Memphis! TCB

Female staff member in Gladys diner was really rude , no please or thankyou , didn’t help with showing me where to pay and when I asked for a straw I got shouted at ‘ it’s at the end ‘ like I should know ?! Asked for a piece of pie - no answer just threw it on the counter at me .. I asked ‘Why are you being so rude ?’ she said ‘she couldn’t talk to people in the line’ and ignored me and started serving the chap behind me! Couldn’t care less . I hardly ever complain but felt I needed to after the experience - reported to April - manager ? who said she would speak to her ( she was nice and helpful and listened ) . Simply lined up and waited for ages to be served to be spoken to like that was awful . A smile at least and a friendly welcome would be good . The actual tour of Graceland was fantastic though

This was our first time at Graceland and it was wonderful. Our UVIP tour was at 11.45 but we turned up at 9am and walked around the buildings where all the costumes, cars, gold records and Lisa Marie exhibition are before our tour started. We were the only 2 people there for over an hour which was bloody brilliant and people started turning up at about 10.30 but it was never very full.
We then went on our tour at 11.45 and you are taken by a mini coach to the house with your tour guide and 12 of us in the tour. You will walk around the house with your tour guide. who would tell us information about Elvis and the rooms. It got a little cramped at times as the spaces in some rooms are small, and if there's another group there too, you will feel a little squashed, but overall it was just brilliant.
Then we went to the archives which we felt is over-rated and a bit boring. We were shown a couple of Elvis' shirts but not allowed to touch and then we had an incredibly long and boring talk on what was on the computer, whilst we watched the guide going through all the different photos on the lap top. It was quite tedious and hot to be standing around for half an hour in front of a computer screen and you don't really get to touch anything. Our tour then carried on around all the exhibitions that we had seen on our own in the morning so we decided to leave and do our own thing and went see the airplanes.
We also ate our meal that was included in the tour price at Vernon's and it was very good, full of calories and filling.
It was a full day and very enjoyable - oh and don't forget to take a pen to write on the wall of Graceland.

Interesting tour but if it’s a weekend, be prepared to wait in line for the shuttle buses.
We appreciated how much he added to the music industry.

Graceland is EPIC!
The House is a wonderful experience. Try a guided tour if you can. Try the Ultimate VIP tour with the archives included if you can. It’s worth it. The exhibitions at the main centre are multiple and massive. We took 2 full days to do everything in the way that we wanted to.
If you go in Elvis Week it’s even better, as there’s so much on!
The only aspect that’s average is food.

What an amazing day we had. Get rhe VIP ticket if you can
It's well worth it. We were there 6 hours so make sure you spend the day so you can see everything

We arrived mid afternoon and the employees were gathered in the lobby complaining about a tour group that had been there. When they finally finished their session a girl turned to us and told us how much the tickets were. We purchased them and she told us to start out side in his boyhood house. We thought is was odd that everything else was locked up. We decided to go inside to the museum, but the same girl stopped us and said it was closed. It was not even 4PM! She did offer to let us go in the gift shop, but we declined and left. I would advise, spend your time and money somewhere else.

We drove and parked 10dollars, we easy to do and staff had got total control of this. OMG this place is awesome, immaculate, nothing has been changed everything is in prestige position. It as as though “Elvis has never left the building”, you can still feel his presence. Life story from rags to riches is inspiring from such humble begging…so charitable also. So so much more to Graceland and the other options available to see and do…..you can spend a whole day here, well worth it.

We had a awesome look through Elvis's home in Gracelands. If you're an Elvis fan and you can get there, it is an absolute must!!
Is like wondering through a time capsule, such a buzz.
And all the museum parts across the road which is included is just great. You need the whole day, maybe longer to look through it all properly.

It always feels like coming home when you visit Graceland. This time we took the UVIP Christmas tour at night and it was amazing. Our tour guide Bobby was excellent and very knowledgeable and the decorations were gorgeous. Highly recommend the UVIP tour!

We're not big fans, but we felt it's a "must see" while visiting Memphis. I was surprised how small the mansion is, and the small rooms. FYI - you have a set time, but you watch a video first, then get on charter bus across street to mansion, then wait to go in about 15 people at a time. And they tell you to go all in and don't form a line, BUT you have to form a line to go room to room. You see main floor and basement, not upstairs. Doesn't take that long to get to the backyard. Then you get back on a bus to get back to the museums. There's a lot to see. It took us 2 hrs and we skipped his army pics, the movie museum and Lisa Presley's museum. We did go into the 2 planes. So be prepared to be there longer than 2 hrs.

Best tour ever
Walking through his home and his gardens was absolutely so beautiful. It was a step back in time. Loved it!!

I always loved Elvis, i did as a kid, and now in my 50's it was the first time to see Graceland in person with a tour group, i was so excited... But, the workers there are rude, everything there seems to center around junk shops with made in China Elvis stuff... We were pushed through as a group from the entry to some cheesy 10 min intro as we sat on hard plywood boxes.... it was terrible...then shuffled to line us up in a group in front of some screen with an Elvis video so they can then charge us $60 for a photo....really? we just paid to get in!
Then we were shuttled over to the Graceland house, i was excited still... especially for Christmas, my hopes were to see it decorated in all its glory,.... sadly, no. It had some old years-used Christmas decor thrown up on the front lawn, garage sale quality. The flower beds were unkept, paint chipping off the house....this is just tragic.
As we stepped in to tour the house, it smelled so bad, like an old musty house... just WHY!!!! why does someone not care about this? its truely tragic.
The floors in the house are not even, its deteriorating. It makes me want to cry that this is not maintained, they make enough on these tours, just why cannot someone take care of it?
The area where Elvis and family is buried are not take care of much either, there is some rinky dink fountain in front of the headstones... it looks like its been there since the 70's... so sad.
I walked over to look at the airplanes, you have to walk over a small bridge to get there, and there were even tires and garbage in that creek... geesh!
The airplanes are deteriorating too... these need to be in a museum, not exposed to the elements. The windshields on the planes are yellowed and terrible condition. I am also a pilot, and i an see the deterioration.
The photo on this trip advisor page with graceland with the beautiful landscape, that has to be photoshopped, or from many years ago. It does not look like that....
I am glad i saw it, it is truly a part of history. But makes my heart break to see it unmaintained...

As an Elvis fan this was one of my bucket list moments. A truly moving and beautiful experience. The tour of the house was incredible. Very organised and professional. Being transported to and from the house and around the ground floor with your own iPad commentary was great.
Standing at the graves was indeed a touching moment reminiscing how the King had brought so much joy to the world. People of all ages, races and nationalities all with the same passion and spirit to see Graceland.
Moving back from the house into the main Graceland building housing the cars, bikes, suits and everything Elvis was a joy to see and admire.
A fantastic day and tribute to the King of Rock and Roll. A day never to forget.

After the Graceland tour you have a very good impression of the king's life. Everything is preserved as it was 40 years ago. You can also visit his cars and planes. At the end there is an e Art Museum with all its costumes and of course a huge fan shop.

Already so much has been written about this place, so I'll just summarise my takeaways from my visit :-
1. The tour encompasses so much more than 'just' the house. There are several exhibition halls showcasing amongst other things his cars and gold discs, as well as being able to actually walk inside his private plane. You need to give yourself a good amount of time to see everything...and then try do the 7 different gift shops.
2. There is an exhibit hall that has interactive video screens where you can put yourself in movie posters standing beside Elvis (easy) or wearing his jumpsuits (tricky to get right!). You just pop in your email address and you get the photos to download for free,
3. It is hard to get a photo of the iconic gates as you are taken to the house in a shuttle van and taken back. I did ask if I could wander down after being in the house but was told I couldn't go around the grounds myself. Only way I could get a snap was to ensure I commandeered the front seats in the van, kept an eye for us getting to the end of the long driveway and then managed a quick couple of photos out the windscreen and side window while we stopped to turn onto the road!
4. Don't miss the jumpsuits! I nearly did as they are no longer displayed in the house. They are now part of a Movie Theater exhibition hall which I assumed was just playing clips from Elvis movies so didn't go in - until someone told me otherwise and I had to rush back.

We did the tour of Elvis’s house and the museum.
To be honest, the area was a dive. Like bars on windows and check cashing joints.
We paid over $200 for two adults and a kid and I don’t think it was worth it because we’re not huge Elvis fans
The house was small and interesting. The museum had a lot of information but again we’re not huge fans.
We spent about 2 1/2 hours and don’t need to go back
Staff working the ticket counters were absolutely obnoxious

A must-see around Memphis, discovering just about every facet of Elvis and his life. However, it is a bit expensive.
More moving moment when visiting the house and cemetery.

I was due to visit Tupelo on the way to Memphis from Nashville with my daughter, but due to an issue with my driving licence we had to UBER direct to Memphis.
Towards the end of our stay in Memphis I discovered an opportunity for a day trip to Tupelo.
I called the ticket line on the Thursday to book for the following day. The person taking the booking was rude. When she asked for my address I said “do you mean my hotel that I’m staying at or my home address in the UK?” She replied bluntly saying “I need an address sir”. Poor customer service.
We arrived the following morning at the Graceland guest house for 8.30 departure. The restaurant they were due to stop at was closed for Good Friday so they had organised for packed lunches. The hotel took ages preparing these which delayed our departure till 9am. Not a problem I thought as we would just be slightly later back, 4pm instead of 3.30pm. Wrong. The stops in Tupelo at the Hardware Store and Fairpark were just cut short so we could still return at 3.30pm.
I asked the tour guide before we left Memphis if we could get lunch at Johnnie’s Drive In instead. She said no as we wouldn’t be going anywhere near there. While at the birthplace we were given our very tasteless lunch boxes. I suggested taking a quick walk to Johnnie’s. It was a 7 minute walk from where we were. In 25 minutes we had walked to the burger joint, ordered our food, waited for it to be cooked, took some photos and walked back to the birthplace. We had time to eat our food before getting back on the coach at 1245. Once back on the coach, the tour guide said we shouldn’t leave the group. I’m sorry “Fun Police” but you lied about Johnnie’s. It was just around the corner. We had plenty of time to visit there and I had paid $102 each for the trip. I’m a big boy and didn’t inconvenience the trip by doing our own thing.
I was grateful for the opportunity to visit Tupelo, but for the price I expected better customer service and certainly didn’t expect just 10 minutes in Fair Park. It felt very rushed because of the poor organisation. The rudeness of the ticket salesperson and the comments about our visit to Johnnie’s were not needed.

It was wonderful going to Tupelo and visiting where Elvis was born and raised ! However the “ lady “ running the tour was both very rude and extremely authoritarian!
I declined to order lunch whilst on the bus/ coach as only burgers were on the menu and thought that I’d be able to explore local alternatives! No this was not allowed to my dismay ! Other people on the tour also turned down this limited menu , which was at an additional cost to the overpriced transport cafe/ diner which was akin to cells , I visited in Alcatraz a few weeks ago !
I thought that at least I’d get a small beer whilst I waited but only limited soft drinks were available! I therefore asked if I could leave the party to go outside for a cigarette, I was told by the “ tour guide “ that I was not allowed outside of the bleak Spartan environment that was loosely described as a restaurant! I was also informed that I could neither go and sit back on the bus / coach and had to remain for approximately a hour in this breeze block built ex car showroom feeling like I was being held hostage until, fellow passengers had finished their meals ! It was the worst experience of my nigh on six week tour of the USA. There was no explanation as to why this was happening and made me feel very uncomfortable indeed. Would not recommend this tour to anyone who values any sense of freedom or liberty !

Our tour guide John was the most amazing tour guide I've had anywhere. He knows quite literally everything about the property and the man himself. We got very lucky to have John as our tour guide, and he's very funny as well as takes a good photo!

What an excellent fun and fact filled filled trip and certainly one I would absolutely recommend. Host was really friendly and knowledgeable. A great lead up experience to visiting graceland

This was a bucket list item and it did not disappoint. The entire tour is so well organized and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I was initially surprised at the cost but after being there it was well worth it! Graceland is in pristine condition and really honors Elvis and his family in such a wonderful way. There are over 20 exhibition - all very well done. Well worth the time to step back in history!

We love the free walkup every morning from 7:30-8:30. Took the complete tour of house, museums and planes. Enjoyed everything. Take your time. Take photos. Very nice.

We purchased the VIP tour before we travelled. The tour itself was really good with everything arranged for you including transport from the exhibition centre to the House and back. The experience was amazing and the exhibition of his cars, clothing, discs and memorabilia was superb. We went early to avoid crowds which was a good move as it became busier as the day went on. We were there for around 4 hours trying to take in as much as we could.

We came from nashville to visit. My mum was a huge elvis fan, we didn't really know too much about him when visiting. Little did we realise we knew a lot of his music. Graceland is such a great place to visit fan or not we stayed In the elvis hotel too, throughly recommend. We visited in December so it was all christmas themed and so glad we did. Worth the money to visit here

Get your tickets early we read on line but we got our tickets that morning on arrival. Bring your walking shoes and wallet.

Went in May 2025. Did the full house tour and the Graceland museum across from the house also included the Lisa Marie plane and Elvis's jet. The tour of the house was brilliant, given headsets with audio introductions to each room, and outside area. Seeing his grave really sad moment of the tour. Seeing all his costumes from performances throughout his Vegas concerts were astounding, as were all the cars, bikes and small boats. The visit took us over 6 hours at no time were we rushed . Would recommend the full tour.

Wow! What a change from the 1990s! I visited here way back when and was so disappointed. We went back this year and we were so impressed! Leave a full day- there is so much to see! In addition to touring Elvis’ home, they have added numerous museums to the complex that are very impressive and informative. There are restaurants on site (The BBQ restaurant was delicious, too). If you decide to go, we recommend staying at the Guest House and riding their shuttle to and from Graceland (Guesthouse also offers hotel/ticket packages that provide a nice discount). Highly recommend if you are passing through or traveling to Memphis!

If you go to Memphis, Graceland is a must see! So cool to be taken back to the 70’s and see how Elvis lived. You’ll leave with great stories and pics. The mansion is a must see! The cars, airplane, childhood home, not so much unless you’re a fanatic.

Our 1st time here. We had the VIP tickets. It was a great experience, and well worth the small amount we paid. Fabulous, we went during the week. Our tour was at 1:00 pm on Thursday. Schedule the earlier VIP tour, in order to see and enjoy and experience a legend. Its an all day tour, in which some places close at 4:00 and 5:00 pm through the week. Very well worth the experience

Although Graceland is an overpriced tourist trap, you can't realistically bypass it if you are visiting Memphis for the first time.
We did the Elvis Experience self guided (iPad) tour at $84 per person which included access to his planes as well. We found Graceland itself surprisingly lacklustre and quite understated for someone of Elvis's fame. And there's certainly an element of sadness when you walk around the Meditation Garden where Elvis and several members of his family are buried.
More upbeat, however, was the exhibit complex and automobile museum across the street which really does a good job of celebrating Elvis at his best. This was our favourite part of the tour.
With the benefit of hindsight, we probably would have considered a professional guided tour rather than the self-guided tour on the basis that a good tour guide can really bring a place to life. But then again, we felt that we had spent enough already!

Overrated Ice cream shop more than half empty. Looks like they are going broke. Three flavours all the other 20 containers were empty. Most of the candy was empty. Lots of stock in the overpriced souvenirs

I recommend that you watch the movie earlier if you are not a fan so that you understand everything better. They give you an iPad with your language for the guided tour

The complex is fantastic with memorabilia coming out of every corner , the one disappointment was the tour to the house very crowded and felt like sheep , for the cost reduce the numbers for a more pleasant experience. Food In Gladys was decent and well priced

It sort of goes without saying, but if you are an Elvis fan then Graceland is an absolute must. To walk through his home, explore the museums, and see all his gold records and jumpsuits are things we’ll always remember.
The on line purchasing was very easy. There are a number of tour options. We booked the one with the audio guide and for the huge price difference between that and a guided tour the audio was just fine. (I sort of eavesdropped on the guided tours and they didn’t say anything that I - as a lifelong Elvis fan- didn’t already know). The audio could use a little updating as others have noted following the death of Lisa Marie Presley.
We visited the on a Tuesday in early October and there were not many people at all. No real waiting in line for the shuttles to and from the mansion. The museums were wide open so you could really take your time and experience everything.
A couple of things to note however. You do not get to see the upstairs of the mansion. This should not surprise anyone as this had always been the case and is well known. Yet, there are still people who complain about it in their reviews. So, do your homework.
The other thing to note is that there is definitely a narrative being presented here. You see the Elvis that EPE wants you to see. It’s “Elvis the Legend” with the glitz and the cars and the planes and the outfits as opposed to Elvis the man who struggled with his own demons and foibles. Not that it has to be sensationalized. There is a way to respectfully address these things. But I cannot recall seeing one photo of him after 1975 or so. There’s no real mention of his health issues, drug use, etc. And that is a shame. Because it’s part of the story. Elvis represented both the Great American Success Story and the Great American Tragedy. And to really understand Elvis the man, you need to understand both.

Graceland is much more than Elvis Presley's home! You could spend most of a day exploring the home and grounds, as well as visiting the museums. You can buy tickets at the door, which we did. They will give you a time when you will be picked up by the shuttle and driven across the street to the house. You will be given headsets to tour the house on a self guided tour. We unfortunately arrived early- thinking we would beat the crowd- just behind a large group on a tour bus. The experience in the house was not great because the group had a private tour, and we had to wait- crammed into small spaces- behind them to finish every room before we could proceed. They were getting all the personal attention they wanted, so we probably added an hour to our tour with the waiting. I believe you can book a tour that will allow you to skip the lines and have less of a crowd in the house- it might be worth looking into that!
After touring the house you will have all the time you want to walk around the grounds, then be picked up by the shuttle to return to the main building. There you have all the time you want to tour the various museums- Elvis' automobiles, outfits, and lots of history. They also have two of his planes to visit on the property. If you are hungry there are a couple of restaurants. We ate a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich- just as Elvis liked it!
Even if you are not an Elvis fan, this tour is interesting. He is a musical legend and huge part of rock and roll history. Definitely worth a visit.

I thought this was just going to be a visit and walk of the mansion. I did not know there was a whole visitor center with so much to see and do. Anyone who even just likes Elvis will have an amazing time.

I revisited Graceland after 37 years. I appreciated it more and learned a lot about an American icon this time around. The guides were cheerful, knowledgeable, and answered our questions. Lisa Marie was only a few months younger than I am, and it affected me a lot to see some of her childhood stuff on display.

This is a great location that has been stuffed with loads of memorabilia. It appears Elvis must have been a hoarder as they have everything here - even a receipt for a fish tank!
The tour starts with a short film that really is just to gather the group up. Then you go on a short bus ride across a busy road and up to the house. It's quite something how close it is to the road, albeit I guess traffic was lighter in his day.
The house isn't huge but is very opulent in a 1970s gaudy blingy way - with rooms having carpet wallpaper, glass tiled ceilings, and all the gadgets of the day. There are some associated buildings too with his father's office, a hall with a lot of personal items and so forth then the graves of Elvis and family members.
Then it's a bus back to the main area where there is a succession of rooms, each on a theme. Highlights were the huge array of gold discs, the cases full of his various performance cloths and then his aircraft and cars. The one surprise was how dusty so many of the cars appeared to be.
Overall this is an expansive site that is stuffed full of loads of Elvis related items, and then even more inspired by his name.

We bought the Elvis Experience tickets at $84 each. Gives you access to tour the mansion, look round the entertainment complex and jets. We had tickets booked for 10:15am and it wasn’t too busy. If you are an Elvis fan it has to be done. We found it very informative and was a great insight into his home, family life, army life, music career etc etc. we spent just over 4 hours there.

Graceland and across the road the museum dedicated to the life and work of the King Elvis are must-sees for visitors to Memphis.

A shuttle from the Guesthouse at Graceland dropped us at the gate for the Plaza where we were told to go to VIP desk, which we did, together with others from the shuttle. Having queued, when it was our turn, we were told to go to the other desk – This was for 'Ultimate' we had 'Entourage' The other desk which wasn’t even manned. Hence us all joining the queue. The lady on the Ultimate desk was polite and courteous. When the other staff member arrived she made no acknowledgement of the queue. She didn’t arrive until 8.45 out tour was at 9. She was definitely not as customer friendly as other lady, very brusque. Not much of a VIP experience so far. Twenty-four or so in our VIP group. We then had to get another shuttle to the Mansion. We had basically zig zagged across the road. Had to wait outside for the previous group to disperse. We were given an iPad with commentary which was very good. It was crowded once inside with ropes stopping us actually entering the rooms properly. Crowded because there just wasn’t room for the 20+ of us let alone the remnants of the previous group. This was a private home, not built to accommodate 20 plus people arriving all at once and not being able to get into the surrounding rooms, I understand that, therefore the groups are too big or not given enough time to move on.
The home. Wonderful. It was definitely extravagant, but somehow homely too. Once inside we supposedly were able to move at own speed but that was difficult with being conscious that others want to see too. Not exactly rushed but would have liked longer. We also saw the stables, dad’s office, squash court, some family stuff/Lisa Marie, artwork, then, unexpectedly by the pool, were the graves.
I was very glad that I took a picture of the house through the bus window as we arrived, as when we were leaving there were so many people in front of the house, either waiting to get in, or for a bus, and even, I think, a bus waiting to off load. The Elvis Entourage VIP tickets were $139 each! The Ultimate $225pp
We then got the shuttle back to the Plaza.
There we saw his car collection – many. Gold records – even more! Costumes- wow and a studio. All very well displayed. We had lunch in Gladys’s diner – hot dog, peanut & banana toasted sandwich and peanut butter and banana milkshake- not very much flavour. Then we saw his aeroplane, Lisa Marie, including inside – very luxurious. Also, another smaller plane.
Generally, so many/too many souvenir shops after each exhibition, each with their own but similar theme after each exhibition, of Elvis of course.
I am so glad to have been able to visit here, a definite tick off the list.
Not so enamoured with the rest of Memphis I am afraid.

Visiting Graceland was the highlight of our East Coast USA tour. I thought we were just visiting the house, yet the museum was an added experience. It was a fabulous to see everything, including his planes and all the gorgeous cars. A highlight was seeing all his amazing costumes displayed in cases floor to ceiling.
The museum is very well presented with excellent item descriptions. Expensive to get in, but money well spent for a true fan. In my opionion an experience not to be missed and never forgotten.

First time visiting with husband and wish we came sooner! We did the Archives Ultimate VIP tour. Sally was our guide on this extensive 3 1/2 hr visit, starting with a VIP shuttle to the mansion. Sally is a true Elvis fan through and through, and it was delightful to hear so much about the Presley family and history of the estate.
From there, we took a shuttle to the archive building where we saw exclusive Elvis artifacts and accessories and had the fantastic opportunity to meet Allison and her team who prepare/catalog the archives of Elvis and Lisa Marie.
We had access to all the exhibits on-site and were able to purchase VIP only merch. The tour ended with a lunch voucher at Vernon's, highly recommend the Meatloaf, BBQ sampler, mashed potatoes and gravy, okra, and apple cobble and icea cream for dessert!
This was the best tour we've been on, and HIGHLY recommend anyone, wherever you live, to come visit and take this tour!

There is so much to see, mansion, museums, planes, places to eat, gift shops, souvenirs, and walking around the grounds. You could easily spend a few hours here. It is an absolute dream. I wish I had walked slower around the mansion and soaked it in more. There were a lot of people, our slotted time was 11am. So much memorabilia, I loved the cars, clothes, well everything about this day, like I said it was my dream. Definitely recommend

You do not have to be an Elvis groupie to find this to be a lot of fun. There is so much to see here, Obviously, the house itself is fascinating and the grounds are interesting. Its a lot smaller than you might expect. We found the associated exhibits to be especially fun. Between one exhibit about all of his movies, to another about his experiences in WWII, to an exhibit of so many costumes he wore over the years, to an exhibit about movies on Elvis and Sun Studios, we easily spent between 3-4 hours. Lunch in the cafeteria is fun- have to get a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich. Visiting inspired us to watch the 2020 Elvis movie and also other movies about some of the music pioneers who started at Sun Studios.

We were positively surprised as we expected much more kitsch! We bought the tickets for the tour online in advance. After arriving, we only had to wait a few minutes until we were taken by bus across the street to Graceland Msnsion. There was some information and an audio guide. After that we were allowed to move around the house and the area more or less freely. Due to the different time slots, visitors also divide well, even if it has a lot of people.
After the tour we looked at the various exhibitions, including the vehicle collection and the many different jumpsuits. All in all we spent so 3.5 hours here and had a really great time. Highly recommended!

This isn't our first or even second trip to Graceland, but I have to say that this was probably the best one ! Our tour guide John was amazing with his stories and personal knowledge of Elvis and his life! We learned things that we never knew and then some! I absolutely hope when we go back next year we have such a great guide that interacts with the guests and even learned our names ! Thank you John! And the many others at Graceland for a day to remember!

The house cannot be missed! The audio guide is great and we really feel inside Elvis's home 60 years ago! The other exhibitions are equally fantastic - his costumes and awards, the military time, Hollywood, the cars, the airplanes... Extremely well organised, pure joy. Around 4h are needed to thoroughly see it all. Can't miss!

Life long dream to go to Graceland and it exceeded expectations. Had the ultra vip tour and well worth the money we were there 9 hours and visited the house twice. Very informative guide Tina who went above and beyond and gave is the best day ever. Would go again tomorrow

We did the small group Ultimate VIP tour of Graceland including the complex. We had 9 in our group. It was excellent. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, well organized, responsive to the group, and helped us learn things about Elvis we never knew before. What a fantastic tour. We went inside Graceland, unhurried, with only our small group. We saw the archives collection of small artifacts, and were able to take photos touching a corner of Elvis’s cape (awhile wearing protective white gloves). We saw his auto collection, gold & platinum record awards, his costumes rooms, another rooms devoted to his time in the military, several gift shops, and had access to the new Lisa Marie exhibit, the Elvis the movie exhibit, the airplanes. It was all amazing, and overwhelming. To imagine one man could have accomplished so much in his short lifetime. It was awe inspiring.

This was our first time visiting Graceland. We purchased the Ultimate VIP tour. Sally was our guide and she was absolutely amazing. She has so much information on Elvis and his life. She was upbeat and super friendly. You can tell she loves her job. I would absolutely recommend the Ultimate VIP experience. Worth every penny.

This was a real disappointment. You only get into one floor of the house. It feels like you are being just herded through the whole place at speed. I’m glad I saw it but I could not recommend the experience.
There is even totally out of date information in the audio guide like references to Lisa Marie being alive. It just feels like no-one cares enough to update this. They just want your money. If you don’t massively love Elvis, stay away and spend your time in Memphis at the Lorraine Motel/National Civil Rights Museum instead, which is one of the best museums I have ever been to and truly has soul.

Strictly by accident we were there for his birthday week so things were quite full but we had no trouble getting tickets and it was probably more festive because there were wreaths and flowers commemorating his birthday from all over the world. He truly has not been forgotten! The tour is limited to the living area only with the exception of one bedroom which had been for his mother. Elvis' bedroom is upstairs and the upstairs is off limits. Was funny to see for instance how small the kitchen was considering the massive amounts of people he always in his entourage. We also got to go on The Lisa Marie. Lisa Marie and her son are also buried in the Memorial Garden area and it is quite touching, made even more so because of all the flowers.

Visiting Graceland was an unforgettable experience, so surreal to walk through Elvis’s home. We did the self guided tour a tablet is included in this tour, which let us explore at our own pace, room by room. What we didn’t realise is that you can tour the museums and his planes before or after your hour time slot. The museums are packed with memorabilia, insights into his family life and an impressive collection of cars. A must see for any Elvis fan, truly worth the visit!

Wow! I had low expectations but how wrong could I be. This is an emotional rollercoaster. The house is evocative, the museums fascinating and the graves tear inducing.

This property is a must see for all Elvis fans. Be prepared to walk and be around crowds of all ages. We loved learning the history and seeing how he lived.

Elvis's glitz on display without veils. An era on display, which comes to move at the end in the meditation garden. His musical influences in current musicians are also on display.

Graceland is a love story Elvis had with Memphis. He grew up in Memphis, lived in Memphis and Graceland was his home. The tour of the home is about 1 hour but the other venues on the property take all day. So much to see! It’s amazing that so many artifacts from his home life and public life were kept and now are available for the guests to see. Don’t miss it.

Graceland is beyond amazing! I would highly recommend to purchase tickets online and do the VIP tour! It is very much worth it, and gets you access to a lot. I would also highly encourage anyone wanting to visit to get there right as they open in the morning. We did his plane first, and it was not even crowded and we were able to get some good pics in front of the plane. With the VIP tour, we were able to have a VIP bus and skip the line and when we got to his home, we were even able to walk right in and avoid the line-and then when we were finished, we were able to wait under a shady area-which was nice in the heat. There is so much to see-you can spend all day here! The shops and restaurants are great too!

You have to go, but almost wish you didn't..
You only see half of the mansion.. you are herded through.. the exhibits are out of date..
Once out of the mansion the museum is a bit dull.. the cars are excellent, everything else is a bit 'samey'
Not sure it was worth it.. it is quite untidy, staff don't care and it seems a bit of a cah grab

Had a 4 night trip to Nashville, then a drive and a 2 night stay in the New Centric hotel on Beale street in Memphis.
Graceland was a 20 minute 10-12 mile drive from Memphis.
VIP tour of Graceland was brilliant, was surprise's just how small the house was.
Although you were not allowed to take video footage, I took loads for the memories.
I also managed to take a cutting of a Fuscia plant and found a pine cone that had fallen from one of the many trees in the grand. Having got the plants home I’m avidly propagating them to get them to grow, so I’ll have a little bit of GL growing at home.
Thoroughly recommend Graceland trip.
Nashville was brilliant, but Beale street in Memphis, felt very unsafe, on the Saturday night just to get on Beale Street you have to walk through metal detectors, meaning people are out and about with guns and knives . Secondly come midnight kids were racing around town in cars and dohnutting cars on the streets.its a good job we were in a large group.
If I were to go back to Graceland again, I’d drive in for the day or stay at a hotel very close to GL, I would not stay in city centre Menphis.

I wasn't a big fan of Elvis before the trip to Memphis and Nashville, but I've left with a great appreciation for his talent and career and will be enjoying more of his music. Despite some areas for improvement, this is a favourite memory from our recent trip.
Our visit to Graceland was enjoyable. I especially liked seeing several of his cars, hand-written notes, family history, and the Lisa Marie exhibit. I do feel that the exhibits could be better presented when compared to something like exhibits found at the CMHF (Country Music Hall of Fame), but the content of the exhibits was excellent. A simple example would be that many of the vehicles were sitting on flat tires, which gave the impression of a lack of care --vs CMHF, where they had cars in pristine condition, elevated off the ground, with lights showcasing the interior and doors often open for a better view.
Our tour of the house was especially enjoyable, and it tied everything together really well. I also enjoyed walking through the airplanes, but it was disappointing that so much was blocked off, which I understand is for preservation purposes. It is sad to see the planes' condition deteriorating, and it would also be nice if there were photos and displays inside showing the various areas in use by Elvis and his family, along with stories to provide perspective.
I did not opt for the audio tour option, but I will probably do that if I visit again. If you're an Elvis Fan and happen to be in Nashville, too, I'd suggest doing a Studio B tour as it is heavily focussed on Elvis' career and nicely compliments a visit to Graceland.

Great trip super staff from our guide and the coach driver friendly and helpful.Tupelo is a must for Elvis fans. It's where it all began.

We did the UVIP tour and had an amazing time. The organisation, our guide and the facility was first rate, with so much to see and do, we were there about 5 hours and could have stayed longer. We also ate at Vernon’s Smoke House and whilst this wasn’t in the same league as restaurants like Martins or Central it was really good for an attraction restaurant, so good I went to thank the chef afterwards.
But the real experience is visiting a piece of history, if you’re not an Elvis fan or music lover - this is still a really good place to visit and part of world history, but if you’re a fan it’s simply stunning - the chance to walk where Elvis walked, to touch things he touched, to see his final resting place and to learn so much about the man and his legacy is a once in a lifetime experience.
The visitors centre is very well done and polished, but Graceland itself felt so much more authentic and real than I expected, in an untouched from the 1970s and frayed around the edges kind of way. It really felt like someone’s home. And yes it’s smaller than you expect !
I left not just feeling I knew more about Elvis, but also about the period of history he lived through and its implications for today. Overall Excellent and highly recommended.

Definitely for Elvis fans, but also for others who are interested in the history of Rock N Roll. You will be surprised at the small scale of the house. He had so much money, why did Elvis not build a huge mansion? And you will be amazed at the bad taste of the interior design. And then there are the faithful paying homage. All quite an experience.

Amazing experience, not to be missed it as though Elvis has never left the building. So much to see and feel part of this Icons past. You will not be disappointed.

What a great experience visiting Graceland with my wife. A truly amazing place with lots to see. If you can afford it I would recommend the VIP tour as it gets you access to everything in the house including his car collection and airplanes. It took about 4 hours to see everything and I usually get bored after about 2 hours but not this time. You go from the house to the cars which was amazing. After that you can see the out fits he wore along with all his awards and then his airplanes. A truly enjoyable way to spend a day!!

Larisha was an incredible guide on our VIP Elvis tour! Her knowledge and passion for Elvis shone through every moment. She was so easy to talk to, enthusiastic about our questions, and made the experience truly special. We feel so lucky to have had her, it was so memorable. I now have a much deeper appreciation for Elvis and his story! Thank you Larisha!

Graceland has always been on my bucket list. As my maiden name was Presley I always felt a connection to Elvis.
The tour was superb the house was just as I expected. The meditation garden was beautiful but brought a tear to my eye he was so young and the. To see the graves of Lisa Marie and her son there so touching. The museum with the cars was fantastic and all his clothes. I loved it and highly recommended

This was on my husbands bucket list, not mine. I was surprised to find how much I loved this tour. The memorabilia, the rooms how they were displayed, the cars, the land, the memorial was all so well done. I loved listening to the audio of the families memories. I wish they had captured more of that before Lisa Marie passed. All in all, I am so pleased that we added this side trip to our calendars. If you are a fan, it is worth it. if you are not, it is still worth it. A great piece of American music history of one of the most well known artist we have.

I love Elvis even more after visiting Graceland and the exhibit center. My 13 year old girls both loved it. Went for the candlelight vigil also... great moment...

I loved the destinations, got lots of great pictures! I would recommend taking packed lunch with you, they smear around 7 extra dollars on the lunch they let you buy. It costs $13.99 at the restaurant but the tour charges $21. If you don't like burgers but would want to get something, that is not possible. Music on the way back was played through the microphone on the bus so it buzzed at times or just gave extra annoying noise. I would rather recommend talking to some of the locals who offer private trips to Tupelo and go with them🙏

Went to see Gracelands hoping to see the home of Elvis, you can't just see the mansion you have to add it to the std ticket $84. Overpriced unless you are an Elvis fan then you could end up paying over $200. Felt like a money machine for what it was.

We visited Graceland, as most people who visit Memphis do, and we asked reception to book a cab to get us there. We got a bloke called Ray, from “Bumming a ride transportation”. He is a self-employed cab driver. Lovely fellow. He dropped us off and picked us up. Fare was around $35 dollars each way from memory. On picking us up he took us on a little detour and showed us where Elvis was originally buried prior to his final resting place at Graceland. He also showed us the house where Elvis’s dad moved after he re-married, together with the house where the partner of Elvis lived after he was divorced from Pricilla. I didn’t see this information whilst walking around Graceland, so it was nice of Ray to show us around. It is possible if we didn’t get Ray, we might not have known about any of it.
On the day we were booked for Graceland, our time slot was 10:30am. My advice is to book the earliest slot you can. It took us all day to go around the house and museum. There are a few places to eat on site. The tour we done was a self-guided audio tour. This takes you round the house and grounds giving you information as you go on an iPad mini. The tour doesn’t include any of the upstairs. This is off limits due to the personal nature of the rooms. The amount of information and exhibits is vast. I learnt a lot of things about Elvis throughout the day. Believe me when I say that you need a full day to make the most of all the exhibits.

Your first stop inside Graceland Mansion where you can view Elvis' living room, dining room, the stairways, and his mother's bedroom. All the materials used by him - Radio, TV etc are on display.
There are entry Tickets to visit his Mansion & Museum where all his automobiles, Musical Instruments, Dresses and other materials personally used by Elvis Presley! The display of various card & motor cycles used by him are kept there.
We get to enter his personal Aircrafts and see what a luxurious life he has lead!
Graceland is a mansion on a 13.8-acre estate in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Presley & his close family members were buried there.

A time travel to private life of Elvis Presley and his family. It is great that the estate being able to be kept within the family.
Totally well kept home grounds, surprisingly the final resting place for family members.
It is also very very sad… The quietness of a house with tons of family inventory.
A life so grand but short.
Really touched with nostalgia.

Off the scale. Brilliant, humbling and serene.
Takes anything from 2 hours to 4.
I don't want to spoil any parts of the tour but you are literally walking in the footsteps of the king.
You get earphones and i-pad to assist your journey.
All in all fabulous.
The cars ,the outfits and the gold discs are out of this world.
Graceand - Spectacular!
My husband, two adult daughters and I went on the Presley For A Day tour. Everyone from Jonathan, John (our guide), Dee Dee (archives) and Sonny (our chef) were the very best. One of our daughters is Gluten free and Graceland accommodated all of her needs. The tour, with lots of surprises along the way, was one that I will live in my heart forever.
My husband wants me to add his note to mine: Living in Memphis from 1967-1968, a time with much unrest, I traveled past Graceland often. Never thinking about it. When my wife said she booked a trip and tour at Graceland, I thought why?
How pleasanty surprised I was at the tour and the people in charge. Once on the premises I was struck with the peacefulness I felt. I was taken up by the magic of the place.
Our guide John, was outstanding and the whole experience just fabulous. Lunch for the four of us in the quaint old horse barn, redecorated to today's wonderful condition. The food, what can I say fabulous. The Chef, Sonny, and waite staff so good.
Seeing the grounds, horses, Elvis's home, the meditation garden, etc. through John's eyes, really so special.
Was I happy I went? You bet I was. They know how to make a group feel really part of the family.
Graceland, Presley For A Day, was spectacular.
