Great Place to save Money

By Pauline S |

So many designer stores to choose from. They have great sales plus extra percent off. Got a Maxine bathing suit at the Lord and Taylor outlet for $21.00 it was $102.00 that is my kind of shopping

Good Shopping

By Stephanie K |

My husband and I were staying in Auburn Hills for a long weekend. Since it was raining and chilly we decided to do the outlets instead of the Detroit Zoo. I love animals, but it just wasn't the weather for it.

I was happy with my choice. The mall was fun. There are A LOT of stores. My favorite was FYE, which I had never even heard of. Prices are great at some of the stores and regular at others. There is a food court with quite a few different choices. Parking is also good.

The mall was clean and not overly packed with people. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We spent about 3 1/2 hours at the mall (including the aquarium).

Not the best deals

By James A |

Since the pandemic ended the deals still are not great because everything is in short supply. There are some attractions here but for me I could have skipped it. Nothing going on right now.

Great place to visit

By Walt R |

Great deals and they seem to have everything I need. Seems a lot of stores close but new one open up right after.

It's a must see

By Natalie J |

I absolutely loves the mall. I loved the layout and the fact that if you text the number they give you coupons!

Great place!!

By David D |

The mall it self is amazing!! I wished some stores like LEGO land discovery center would lower the volume on the music as a employee myself it’s gets annoying after a while.

A Great Mall

By Charli Y |

If You like shopping This is the Place for You. A Great selection of stores and restaurants. New stores added all the time and their is a multi-theather, A Aquarium

The biggest outlet under one roof

By Ricci S |

Premium stores under one roof with a great food court boasting the latest addition...an aquarium...truly a great shopping experience.

Great Shopping close to Detroit

By Olaf F |

Great shopping mall with a lot of known brands. About 40min by car from Detroit, but the overall offer and the discounts give a hugh return for this longer drive.

Never ending shopping

By RalM_1979 |

All under a huge roof...from shoes to food... here is the place where you can find all your shopping needs. All the big brands are there...just take a stroll and ...shop 😉

A lot to do here

By johntavernier |

So Much to See

By atouchofhealth |

So many shops and restaurants. It is only 75 minutes from my house to get here. When we are looking for something to do we come to Great Lakes Crossing to shop and just walk around. If you are looking to get steps in, come here for you will easily get 10,000 steps in!

Wow! Great Variety of Outlets.

By TeKr0515 |

17-Dec-2016

Visited / shopped at the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets on Saturday (17th). Finishing up shopping for the Holidays.

Been a number of years since I last visited and I was impressed by the layout, variety of name brand stores, and the 'reasonable' prices at the stores ( LEGOLAND, Coach ).
Mall was busy but very clean / well tended. Parking, as expected, was a little busy but not too bad.

Recommend.

Family shopping experience

By Sylvie B |

GREAT mall for all your shopping and entertainment needs. The kids enjoyed the aquarium and it was a great family outing.

Good and Bad but it's a big shopping mall with everything

By Jennifer S |

I go there with my family every summer when I'm down there. It's got the movies, shopping, play area, food court, etc. Skip the legoland and Aquarium - very overpriced and not much to see. But do stop by a Gelato shop in front of TJ Maxx in District 1. It's a great little ice cream shop with great flavors. It's just something to do if you'r'e bored and sometimes you can get great deals on clothes.

"HUGE"

By bstuck |

This place was enormous, they have every store you can imagine, even a Bass pro shop. And a theatre and large food court with kid rides. I was amazed at how many stores were under 1 roof.

Full still, maybe it’s half capacity by now.

By NikaNumber1 |

It’s still pretty busy in here given the Oakland edict that all establishments should only permit 50% capacity. Many stores are nearly empty, some stores have already decided to stay closed for the time being.

The food court is quite sparse. Many seats have been removed and many tables have signs not to be used in an effort to keep people apart.

It’s very likely that more and more edicts will be handed down the next week or so.

I found myself spacing myself from others as we walked inside the mall.

Many stores were nearly empty. It seems many stores are aware of the edict handed down yesterday to allow for half capacity.

There were still a lot of kids in strollers and in tow all over the mall.

Fun!!

By 830chasp |

I visited the shopping mall with my family, and this place is huge. It has every store from Saks to Tj Maxx. There's a Nike outlet, VS, Coach store and so much. You definitely need at least a day to get through it all. I can't wait to go back

One of the best that I have seen.

By Charles B |

This is one of the best outlet malls I've been to. They had some really good sales. What's unique about this outlet mall as it has so many other things to do like the Rainforest Cafe, and Aquarium, a really good movie theater and much more. This is our first time here and it was definitely worth it. We have never been to the area prior.

When you've seen one you've seen them all

By Ken Friis |

I'm not huge on shopping and I'm sure my views aren't representative of most people, but I spend nearly two hours here, walked around the entire mall and visited 10+ stores, but came away with nothing more than a few new pairs of socks. In other words: nothing you can't find elsewhere at similar or better prices.

Huge Outlet Mall

By Kristen S |

Great Lakes Crossing is an enormous outlet mall is Auburn Hills. In addition to the many factory and outlet stores, it has an aquarium and a Lego Discovery Center. It also houses several novelty restaurants like Johnny Rockets, Rainforest Cafe, and Miyako (Japanese steak house with hibachi cooking at the table). This is probably a fun place to take tourists or go on an outing with small children. It is the closest shopping center to my house and I have to admit it is not my favorite place to shop. Sometimes the items are not first quality and they often don't have the matching pieces that go with the collection. Also, this mall is so big that it takes forever to get from one end to the other. Also, just because it's an outlet store does not mean you are getting a discount. Make sure you shop around to ensure that you are really getting a deal. My family frequents the AMC movie theater there. We like it because it's big and there are lots of movie choices as well as 3D and IMAX options. They just added food and a bar to their concessions making it even more attractive .

A Great Day

By modlifer |

Offers a little bit of everything. From food court to chain fare they have it all. Full them park style attractions. Every major brand outlet. It is clean and kept modern.

Great shopping with fab bargains

By Travelinis |

A huge Outlet Mall with all major stores and also some local brands. Good deals are available and make sure you bring enough time- it is huge. Good eating and playing area for the kids. It also has theater where you can enjoy a movie after shopping.

Shopping at Great Lakes Crpossing

By Dynes69 |

This is an indoor Outlet Mall and has all the major chains located inside. It has a great Food Court as well as some restaurants. An Aquarium, Theatre and Legoland provides various entertainment for all ages. I would recommend going duriing a weekday as the weekends tend to be quite busy. It is well located in Aubun Hills and there are plenty of accomdations and restaurant around this mall.

Large mall

By Highlander-GG |

Great Lakes Crossing is a nice mall with many great stores and great places to eat. The movie theater is comfortable and offers an IMAX theater. Aside from the stores there is also a Legoland area and an aquarium.

Nice mall

By John H |

A very nice mall with very good restaurants. Also has the SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium and LEGO LAND inside of it.

Great shopping experience.

By jcrann |

We're Canadian and normally stick to Port Huron or Buffalo for our shopping but we decided to drive the extra bit to go to Great Lakes Crossing. Wow, what a big place. This place pretty much had everything we wanted, the only thing it didn't have was a Target and Kohls but that was just a short drive away. Great spot for shopping and the Hampton Inn directly beside the outlets was great too.

Everything in one place

By Jim M |

The largest mall in Michigan, seems to have everything! You can spend a lot of time here, excellent variety, some good values. Restaurants in mall are very good too.

Amazing Mall

By syoung22 |

My family and I love Great Lakes!

The kids love rainforest cafe, sea life, and lego land ! My wife and I love the store selection, bring walking shoes though because the mall is huge!

Lots to do!

By Susan S |

We started out at the Sea Life Aquarium, bit of playing at the kid's play area, and a bit of shopping. The kids loved it!
I just wish we knew about the Rain Forest Cafe coupons for 50% off admission to Lego Land! (on the back of the kids menu)

AWESOME

By John P |

We loved this place. Kids loved lego land and bass pro. Food court was great. Would love to go back.

Awesome

By LuvaNurse443 |

Did not spend much time shopping, but we will definitely return for a full days worth! So many stores that we do not have on the west side of the state. Easy access, parking was easy at 10 am, and the food court was large.

I am from Toronto & Great Lakes Crossing is just okay. Shopped their August 4, 2017

By Onegreatmomanddadof2 |

Clothing sold here is inferior and it's a trend copied by all other retailers in this mall.
Good places to visit are:
Burlington - similar to Winners and it had awesome deals. Branded baseball caps $12.99 compared to TJMax a few feet away at $24.99. Two piece adult size snorkel set $9.99. Inflatable swimming pool accessories (the donut raft) a steal at $7.99 compared to $50 back home. Brand name clothing and shoes exceptional deals.

Talbots had very good prices for women's clothing. Shirts at $7.99 including the tax and exchange rate at 25%. Talbots sales are 60% off nearly everything in the store.

Van Hueson has men's pants at $14.99 and a large selection.

Converse has very good prices on men's and women's tops. Cool shirts start at $5.00, select hoodies on sale in the clearance section.

Check out the Nike store clearance racks where you will find top-of-the-line shorts, a variety of tops at $9.99, $11.99 and I found tops priced $14.99 were further reduced at the cashier.

Victoria Secret offered 75% off all goods and it packed with happy shoppers.

Huge disappointment with Levis, Forever 21, Gap, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Footlocker, LuckyJeans, Puma and virtually all other popular brands for trying to pawn off inferior clothes made of cheap fabrics. It is not worth patronizing these stores because they are all selling crap. Inferior clothing is marked up 300%. These retailers and others like them selling clothing not cut on the grain meaning that the items you purchase will not sit properly, the pant legs will rise up or shift when you walk. LuckyJeans may seem like a deal advertising 2 pair of jeans for $99.00 but try them on and see for yourself how uncomfortable they are. They made with an inferior material and completely different then the kind we have back home.
Another huge disappointment with Coach for using inferior leather on their purses. Touch their handbags and see for yourself it cheap leather or imitation.
Forget about going into Vans, a huge problem is this store has misleading signs. Try buying a long board at their advertised price of 50% off and they will not honor your purchase. Instead staff here will try to sell you their penny boards. A quick telephone call to their corporate office in California wasn't helpful either.
Who wears clothing made of rayon anymore? The answer is no one does. Check the labels of clothing you want to buy and if it is rayon let me tell you that it will never wash well or dry properly again. Do not waste your hard earned money on clothing being sold under the guise that it is the real thing. The last problem I noticed with this outlet is their mobile site lists many premium stores, like the popular Adidas and many others are on the first level of the mall. The fact is ppl, these stores are not even built yet. This is false and misleading and done in an effort to entice you to shop at this mall. I found the majority of retailers here have items priced higher than what we spend in Toronto. Canadians add 25% exchange rate (or more) and 6% tax for a total of 31% or 1.31. This figure needs to be added to the price of your desired goods. Do this to determine if you are getting a good deal. In total I spent less than $100 US dollars.

Great indoor outlet mall

By ndame87 |

Huge indoor outlet mall with food court, and lots of outlet stores. Parking is never an issue either.

This is one huge mall. Wear comfortable shoes.

By Nancy S |

Tons of retail outlets plus a huge theatre and an aquarium. Food court of course so you can rest while you decide what to do next. Not for the faint of heart shopper.

Best Shopping Plaza/Mall in MI

By Michele H |

Great Lakes has everything for every age. Huge variety of outlet stores with great prices, excellent restaurants, food court, movie theatre kiddy play lans, Legoland, Aquarium and so much more. Everyone of all ages could spend a little get away for couple days as so much to do for all ages. With winter and frigid temps now Great Lakes is great and reasonable pricing throughout. Highly reccommend. Will become one of your favorite pkaces to shop, done, play and have great memories. Ih yes, and for the ones that get tired....they have massage chairs!!😊

This Mall has everything you could ever want in one building.

By Jrsoprano330 |

Legoland was awesome the kids didn't want to leave. There was a shop for everything in the mall. The Bass pro shop is a definite must see there is a lake and waterfall in there. I cant wait to come back up and I live 300 miles south. The people seem so friendly, everyone says hello, people hold doors for people.

Lots of deals today

By FlyAtNight |

We arrived early today and managed to find exactly what we needed in a couple of hours....Nike, Movado, Levis and Nautica and more. This is a good shopping destination...everything is totally enclosed, lots of parking, it is well signed inside and has a large food court and other dining options. Since our last visit numerous benches and comfortable seats have been added as well as tables with charging outlets.

Get your steps in!

By pincheverypenny |

You could easily spend a day here. Lots of good eats, entertainment for little kids, and great prices.

Most disgusting thing I’ve seen in a long time

By Philip C |

Stopped at the food court to get a bite to eat with my 17 year old son at the food court. He wanted Bistro THIA. He ordered and one of the employees started spoon on his order into the container. Another employee started to do the same for me, but had a wad of paper towels rolled up and shoved in her nostril. She stopped half way through my order and pulled it out of her nose and went on serving food. Told my son to give his food back. Even after I called her and the other person on this she still did not even go wash her hands. She went on serving other people. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮

This place needs to be closed down!
This happened today 12/07 at about 5:30.
Check your cameras, this actually happened.

Decent mall

By Yoopermom906 |

Lots of seating, and a wide variety of stores. The temperature is always a little on the warm side, and can be uncomfortable.

A Different Shopping Experience

By Catherine Y |

Great Lakes keeps people coming back by offering a variety of stores and activities for visitors. From the aquarium to the Lego Store, to the theaters, there is something for everyone. Just make sure you get there early if you don't want to park and walk a couple of miles to the mall.

Nice Outlet

By JimDeBerry |

I've been to many outlets and I enjoyed Great Lakes Crossing.

Lots of good stores, the sports store have local items, the Saks Outlet is good. Rainforest, Discovery Center, Sea Life, and a Movie Theather

Great choices

By dshow99 |

We typically go for Santa visit at Bass Pro and Disney Store visit. Last two years have done LEGOLAND Discover Center and Sealife.

Great shopping

By Coleen B |

Great stores to shop for lots of Christmas gifts and lots of places to Take a break and have a nice lunch or dinner.

First time

By llswift86 |

Our family visited Durning spring break weekend. Very big mall. Lots of people and stores. Be prepared for lots of walking. The mall was very hot. The line for the carousel was quite long. Very clean kept, lots of stores! All the staff was very friendly. We had a nice time! Lots of food vendors through out and the food court is very large. The mall can be hard to navigate at first

Huge mall!!

By Kerry C |

You could plan an entire vacation in this mall!! We loved the Legoland Discovery Center, Sea Life Aquarium, Rainforest Cafe, Bass Pro, and the playground and carousel in the food court. They also have a movie theater and just about every store you can imagine being in an outlet mall.

$$$ amazing Sales $$$

By e322017 |

This mall is the biggest in Michigan, good vibes, 60-80% off. If you visit Michigan no chance u miss that mall.
It’s like Jersey garden mall in New Jersey.
There is a big food court, AMC theater and play ground with a big Caruselle for kids.
I Recomend to buy for presents and for gifts.
The cheapest you’ll ever find. By the way there is a nice kiosk for fragrances as oil . All the biggest fragrances as oil. It’s pretty better than the origin haha:)))))

Worth it

By Raeann a |

So many dam stores here. They have everything and plenty of food choices. Legoland and sealife are in here. It just goes around and around. I mean you can go to the maxx Marshall’s or Michael kors and Nike. Definitely takes a whole day here. I enjoyed it and so did the kids

Love this mall

By shersherbaby |

Drove here for a road trip from OH with my husband, 2 of my sons, daughter-in-law and our boys friend. Great sales going on for Labor Day. Tons of stores, great food choices also. Only disappointment for me was not one of the Pepsi machines sold Dr Pepper or Diet Dr Pepper. 😕

Beautiful mall!

By Katy |

This is a very lovely mall. The food court is immense. It was very busy during spring break so I would advise to never visit during spring break again. There is a nice selection of shops.

Great Outlet Mall

By tripswithemily |

This mall is great! Very busy and parking can be difficult. We divided the mall into two days because it's so large. First day we ate at MEX and it was very delicious. Second day hit the big food court. There are many good stores all with great deals. There's also a Lego Land, aquarium, and movie theater.

Big Mall

By fireflydreams |

Always a fun day when we go to Great Lakes Crossing. Huge selection of stores for all ages and lots of family fun things to do!

summer vacation

By Trek03784852416 |

enjoyed all the store I had never been there, but there is something for everyone I seen up scales stores to shoe carnival great time was able to pick up some school clothing for my grand children

Probably every store you need is here

By Fuzzle2Fuzzy |

This mall is HUGE! We came for the rainforest cafe restaurant and a trip to the sea life aquarium. However we enjoyed walking around the mall after for a bit.

There is a very large food court and there is a carousel in the food court—$3 a ride. My highlight was the Victoria’s Secret Outlet. 💕.

This mall is very clean and visually appealing. Close to lots of restaurants outside of the mall as well.

HUGE mall - something for everyone

By JenHanna |

This is a huge mall so you will need time to get through it. It has a Rainbow Cafe along with other restaurants like Johnny Rockets. I found some good after Christmas deals, especially at Victoria's Secret.

Not Really an Outlet

By frazandtina |

I just found this to be your average mall with the word "outlet" skipped on the end if it. We found a couple of deals, but not many. Most stores had a lot if regular priced items. This doesn't seem very outlety to me. Disney store had the best deals.

Best mall

By KenPatriquin |

Like the set up of mall. Rainforest Café is great. Loved the food in food court. Legoland was a real great attraction.

We come here every Black Friday Weekend

By RAS65 |

Really busy area, but a great mall with everything you want, including a Bass Pro Shops. Great food options too.

Shopping

By blusunshine0707 |

I absolutely love, love, love this outlet mall. So many stores. Great experience. Very clean. Found great deals.

Birthday Shopping

By Rosalind J |

Great place for all your shopping needs. Great Eateries! Good place to spend the day.
Lots of activities for children.

Busy

By Alisha T |

Very busy, but very big mall. Spent most of the day here. Deals! Deals! Deals! Good luck trying to find a parking spot though. 😕

Large outlet mall

By NegMiner94 |

This is a nice, INDOOR outlet mall. Have been here many times and it’s nice to see the mall at close to full capacity again, as there have been many empty spaces for a while. The biggest downfall to the mall is the kiosks in the middle where they practically attack you to offer you their products.

Great place to shop.

By Rishi M |

Best shopping mall in Michigan. Great selection in retail outlets. Nike, Tommy, coach and Bose are my favourite stores.

My return to GLC

By Nascarman88 |

It's been several years since I've been to Great Lakes Crossing and while some things remain the same a lot of stores have left and been replaced by newer stores.

We had a Blast Shopping here

By car0la66 |

This takes time so give yourself leeway to check and go back. There are sales everywhere. If you are not from the area the Mall offers a shopping passport full of extra deals. It is well lit and airy and tons of parking.

Great Shopping

By Kikibutterfly |

We stopped in for a quick visit during a hockey tournament. The mall was well marked so we were able to find the stores we wanted to visit quickly. Parking was ample and the variety of types of stores was excellent.
We purchased clothes in several stores and were impressed by the selection and the pricing. Even with the Canadian exchange rate the price was better than to purchase the same product in Canada.
We would love to go back and spend more time!

Best outlet mall ever!

By Sk8gal29 |

This is a must see and plan to spend some time here! The parking is well let and the lay-out is very nice. There is something for everyone here! I plan to return!

Run Down Facility, a Few Bargains

By SteveMonrovia |

The overall facility is a bit rundown. It has the typical mall food court fare. There are a few bargains to be had but not many.

If You Like to Shop...Then Let's Go Here!!!

By Chris L |

This is a great mall...it's got a fabulous selection of stores and is a relaxing stroll for those that like to shop. But, I think this is a girl's day out. There really weren't a lot of stores for men, except sporting goods and a few men's wear stores or foot locker. But for women, it was heaven. Outlet prices? Not so in every store, but a large number of them did have discounted prices that pleased the bargain shopper in me. There were plenty of food court and snack options throughout the mall. A theater could give the guys a break while the girls shopped. There is a legoland, more for young kids (under 8) and also an aquarium. The aquarium was alright, a bit pricey for what it was...and the line was ALWAYS long. I would say that this is a fun experience, but more for a Girl's day out.

Great place to visit and shop

By Williamhorn20 |

We decided to check this place out while in town waiting to go to Erabus haunted house!

There is a variety of stores, a food court, movie theater, restaurants, aquarium, so much to do!

Also tons of pokestops for Pokémon go and plenty of walking to hatch your eggs!

Very clean place and security is everywhere so you feel safe!

Great place to hang out and shop and spend time with friends and family

Not like it was...

By livelifenow1977 |

I lived across the street from this mall 12 years ago and it has changed a bit. So many stores/restaurants have changed. I loved going to Toby Keith's for dancing and a live band! I'm not around here much anymore but still enjoyed Johnston and Murphy sale!

Great Lakes Crossing Outlets still have great deals!

By James A |

Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is still a pretty good discount shopping mall and very close to where I live. Premium Outlets are the best, but I have found this a reliable shopping center with good value. If you're a foreign visitor then go to the Business Services desk to ask for a discount book. It should be free if you show your passport.

Shopping at GreatbLakes Crossing.

By ROBO60 |

This mall has a food court and quite a few but not all stores are outlet stores with outlet prices.
There are quite a few Stores that are one of a kind. And quite a few kiosks through the mall.

Bass Pro Shop is huge and stocks a nice selection of outdoor gear.

Other outlets are Marshalls, Sports Authority, Eddie Bauer, Bed Barh and Beyond and some shoe outlets.

This mall gets very busy on weekends and espcicially starting in the early afternoon.

Food court has the usual food fare good for a snack or quick meal but nothing fancy.

If it's raining on your vacation and your are close by it's a good place to go.

There is a moviie theater also.

Very Large an Upscale!

By msakenk |

We visited because of AMC theater and Outdoor World, but ended up spending another 3 hours window shopping and buying. The person with me was on his first visit to USA and had never seen a mall like this. He could not believe how many screens the movie theater had, and how many stores and people the Mall had. He was overwhelmed!

We found the variety of stores and shops to be comprehensive, the staffs in those we visited to be friendly, and they even negotiated prices in some stores!

The Mall has many family attractions to keep kids entertained as well as places for the entire family to shop and eat. I am not a mall person but the visitor with me was impressed and my wife would spend an entire day if she were there.

GREAT INDOOR OUTLET

By ehinz01 |

Have been to Great Lakes many times, they have almost any store that you can think of plus if you walk the interior just once, you have walked a mile. Plus plenty of seating throughout the entire mall.

Nice shopping

By AGLR |

Really nice shopping- labeled by “district”- lots of shops- food court is a bit disappointing, but overall a good experience with younger children.

Great shopping centre!

By Lina N |

Great shopping centre. Loved the Kate Spade outlet. Food court is good. Bed Bath and Beyond had a lot to offer. Enjoyed the day shopping.

Prom Dress Shopping

By Wendy M |

Other than someone in the parking lot dinging my car and bad and not leaving a note - all was good. Shopped for hours, found the perfect dress and many other items. Stay at hotel on site and did Olive Garden for dinner. Enjoyed it all (now my husband was angry about the car, but that's another review, LOL)

A must if you stay in Auburn Hills

By Ebse_J |

Great mall. You can find everything you need: clothing, gifts, electronic divices, food court. The bass pro shop is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Teenagers meet up for birthday

By Michele C |

My son's friend decided for her birthday that a group of friends would meet at the mall. My son and I went early as we didn't have a gift and what better place to get a gift than a mall. Couldn't decide on what to get, I was suggesting a mall gift card - he wasn't interested. He ended up buying her cookies and then after hour and half of shopping they went to the movies. Not what I would have thought for a birthday, but it is what his friend wanted and it worked for them.

Huge, easy to navigate, something for everyone

By KrisMK |

Love the Outdoor World entrance. Easy to get around in the hallway format, take shortcuts through stores to other hallway. User friendly signage.

Huge

By George T |

The mall is huge with so many stores to choose from.
It was very busy for Christmas.
Parking is easy and there are security personnel roaming the mall and parking lot

Huge mall

By fwfast |

Every store and shop you could possible want is all in one place. Designed in a giant circle marked with "districts" making it very easy to remember where you start and how to relocate the parking lot you're parked in.

All kids of stuff to do but you need lots of time

By ReviewGuyNoVI |

Forgot about a quick trip in and out... parking and walking around will always be upwards of a few hours.

Visit the sports stores, like Puma for nice soccer apparel. Nike store is waste- very messy and too busy to find any soccer apparel.

Shopping Day

By Gloria1927 |

Visited the Great Lakes Crossing mall and enjoyed my shopping immensely. Found some beautiful items at the Kate Spade and Michael Kors stores. Also had a taste of some of the pretzels at the food outlet. Great stores and great service at throughout the mall.

Huge mall - lots to see and do

By firstimersToronto |

Been to Great Lakes crossing several times but first time reviewing. It has a great variety of outlet stores. Huge mall make sure to wear comfy shoes and be prepared to walk for hours. Deals are hit and miss but I have never left without something. Mall lacks mall directory signage which is frustrating at times but I have been there serval times so I know my way around. Food court is huge a nice variety of food but it’s packed all the time so seating is sometimes hard to get. Nice Kids area and amusement rides and play section which is fun. Washrooms are huge but sometimes hard to get to because everything is long hallways. Don’t forget where you park and wear good shoes and you will have a blast.

Great day of shopping

By DerrickP |

I was in town visiting and went to the outlet mall to browse and came out with tons of bags. I purchased items from the Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nike and Bananna Republic outlets. I will certainly come again. Retail therapy at its best.

Fun Spot

By Sue S |

Checked out the carousel and "food" playground when we were here with our grandson for the Sea Life exhibit. He loved this spot even more than the aquarium. The carousel is $1.50 per person so he and his grandpa rode it twice. During the week it isn't so crowded so he was able to play on the corn, watermelon and hot dog and loved it.

So Many Options!

By Jauntress |

Loaded my mom into their free wheel chairs (she is 78) and shopped until we dropped. Not only were there a lot of opportunities for us, my 2 boys (13 and 17) found items to buy and stores to explore.

It was a great day inside, lots of food options, clean bathrooms strategically placed throughout the mall, visible security guards keeping everything in line.. The Customer Service Kiosk employees were very friendly and helped us with the wheel chair access for my mom.

All in all the mall was clean, inviting, and staff from all areas (the stores and the mall) were friendly.

So many choices

By cjmdett |

The is a mega mall. A lot of big name stores. Many selections and if you are
looking for something you will find it

Loved the aquarium

By ldhayes0 |

It was so nice to see so many people enjoying the mall. At a time when so many of the malls have many empty stores and hardly any vendors in their food courts, this was quite a change. The aquarium was the highlight of our day there. But also got some good shopping time in.

Best mall

By Strawberry1220 |

This is the best mall! It’s huge with all of the best stores. This is a destination with hotels nearby and fun activities in it too.
We found clothes for the whole family and toys at the Disney store. There is a fun play area in the centre of the food court. There was a Tim Hortons! Check out the Bass store. It has an aquarium and life size animals around the store. Great time!

Awesome place

By MIGuy74 |

You probably need a whole day to view this mall been there cpl of times. Maximum I spent was 4 hours, because I have young twins . At gate 7 there is a twin stroller with 2 tablets attached to it. That's 12 dollars worth spending.

Large indoor mall with lots of great retailers

By Outnumbered Mom |

This is the only indoor outlet mall in the metro Detroit area. The mall is huge and has something for everyone. With indoor malls tending to be on the decline, this mall remains very busy. The mall is very clean, with plenty of clean restrooms, plenty of stores to visit, plenty of restuarants to eat at and plenty of activities for kids. My kids always like to ride the carousel when we visit. The Legoland Discovery center is one of the great recent additions to the mall. You could probably spend the entire day at this mall and never make it into every one of the stores/attractions.

Play area in food court very, very clean.

By Holly |

Definately would allow my kids 4 and 6 years old to play. Large area with clean carpet and solid structures. Several times throughout day the play area is closed to be disinfected and seating wiped down by housekeepers. The area stays closed for 30-40 minutes before reopen for play.

Excellent Place to Shop!

By lithlith |

The Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is a great place to shop. It is huge, so plan for several hours, and more time if you plan to eat or visit the attractions inside in addition to the shopping. This Mall is clean and had a nice feel to it. Most stores are outlets, but there are a few that are not outlets mixed in. There is a huge food court area inside as well as other attractions that children and families may enjoy like the the aquarium, legoland, and theater. If you're just here to shop, I'm sure you'll have great luck. I've always found great bargains and have never walked away without a purchase from this mall.

Nice shopping before Christmas shopping.

By James A |

I went here for a few things before Christmas and found good deals so I left pretty happy. It was very crowded as usual, but the stores had lots of great stuff and pretty good deals. I will continue to go here at least once a year, but maybe not before Christmas again. Too many people and a lot of kids.

If you need it you will find it here!

By Suzanne N |

From toys, to clothes, to kitchen supplies, shoes, everything is at this mall. Great food court with an excellent place for the kids to run and exercise to exhaustion!

Something for EVERYONE

By Tarynitup While Traveling |

A group of us stopped at the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets after running a Tough Mudder in June 2017. We wanted to go somewhere we could walk around and circulate our blood.

As we arrived, we were taken back by the sheer size of this outlet. There really was a ton to choose from! We did enjoy that it was an indoor facility, as being outside in Michigan can be miserable at times.

The building is very clean and the stores are very well laid out. Everything was clearly marked and shopping was easy.

The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. A very big plus for an outlet center.

We were worried that there might not be good deals due to it being more of a mall environment, but this was not the case. Lots of sales and lots of deals!!

We had a very nice experience and would definitely recommend Great Lakes to others.

If traveling with children, make an effort to come here! With a Rainforest Cafe and an Aquarium, this is a must!

Great shopping under one roof!

By Sunny32095 |

Familiar stores and wonderful variety too! Be prepared to walk a lot so be sure to wear comfy shoes. There’s a food court to meet anyone’s culinary desires, plus a few sit-down restaurants too! I’d highly recommend shopping here, maybe even staying at one of the surrounding hotels so you can make two days out of it!

A place for Girls Night

By Sarah |

My friends and I have wanted to go on a large shopping trip for a while now. We decided to come here. It was a great choice as well it was super large and spent well over 4 hours there. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes! you will be on your feet for a long time. It had casual food in the food court, which tasted really good. We stopped at multiple stores including TJ Maxx, Forever 21, and the Disney Store. We had our moms come along with us for a shopping day for themselves as well which they fully enjoyed. I do wished they opened at an earlier time or have some stores open at earlier times than others. We were left waiting for the stores to open in the morning. overall it was a great trip.

Every store imaginable

By Amy |

This is one of my favorite places to shop. If I'm looking for Christmas gifts or a birthday gift there is something for everyone. Great place for date night too. Nice variety of stores and restaurants.

Great OUTLET MALL

By Tim G |

Visited here for the first time on Monday, Aug 5, 2019. It was a holiday for those of us from Ontario, Canada so we went for a drive to check out this Outlet Mall. Over 180 shops and food service places (food court and sit down restaurants). A nice mix of stores, very clean facilities and it's indoors... particularly nice today at 30°C or 86°F. It's nice to visit where you have a different selection of stores. My wife found some great bargains on things she actually needed!

Nice place to visit

By Alejandra M |

You can find many stores, have some coffee, walk around, watch a movie, etc.
Some stores have good deals, some others not.

My favorite shopping mall

By karin b |

Every time I'm visiting Detroit I make the tour up to Great Lakes crossing.
I'm not sure why it has become my favorite shopping mall, i think the layout has a big part in it.
I like that you just walk around on one level no elevators.
The variety of shops they have is big and the shop brands are good ones. I saw that Buckle had found its way to Great Lake as well, love that shop for jeans buying.
The food court is pretty descent as well, I'm not a fan of those places but it's ok.
I wish they had a outlet shop with golf clothes but maybe in the future that will come as well.

The only down side is the driving, it's almost one hours from Dearborn, and if the traffic is bad even more.

See you next time I'm in town...

Same stores, same cheap merchandise, same dining options

By Biensapeau |

This mall has gone so far downhill since my last visit. No Saks Off Fifth, no NM Last Call, no large anchor store at all. Good luck finding anything but cheap, foreign-made goods. Even items at Le Creuset were made in China. Poor size/width selection in the shoe stores. You could easily guess 90% of the options in the food court because they are the same as in every other mall.

Busy, but lots of bargains

By FlyAtNight |

Friday night was rather quiet and we picked up many good deals on clothing and footwear. Saturday was really busy (Labor Day weekend) so we got some more, but spent a lot of time in lineups. All things considered, it was a good time.

Good variety of shops

By Marco_Nanninga |

I spend a Saturday evening here doing some gift shopping combined with a visit to the cinema. It was very busy so finding a place to eat was tricky. Other than that it was a pleasant visit.

Fun outing

By 430leahl |

We visited with family and spent the day here. Lots of stores and good prices because it's an outlet. Fun play area in the middle for kids.

Good stores, good pricing during holidays.

By TFC3 |

Good stores, good pricing near holidays season. Nice free wi-fi available and good places to eat. The mobile app is a good tool.

A great Place to Spend the day!

By roamingprofessor |

We travelled a few hundred miles to come here. It is well worth it. There are numerous stores; a playground with carousel for children; a super food court; and other places for kids (for which one does need to pay). We ate at the food court and at the Rainforest Cafe.
Highly recommend.

Mall

By Wendy B |

This place is very large. You can take the whole day to go through it. There are several stores that are only in this place. There is a very nice food court along with sit down restaurants. Lego Land and and Sea Life Aquarium are also attached. We rushed through it but take your time. It’s a very nice walk.

I love this mall it have everything!

By hollywood18 |

This mall to me is better than any mall in michigan its great. This mall have all type of fun in it! I love it and will be back really soon!

Friends shopping trip

By Tammy H |

Great place to shop, lots of deals, every store you could ever want, and all in doors. It's huge.. where comfortable shoes.. lol.. restaurants, theatre.. all your needs in one place. Just sad Toby Keith's closed down.

Huge Mall with good bargains.

By rickcardo |

Stopped in here for a look around!Hundreds of stores one of the largest malls I have ever visited great food court .Tons of things for the kids to do also!Good shopping for sure .

My favorite mall

By Bcrots88 |

We try to come up from Toledo a few times a year. We love shopping the sales up there and they usually have great ones! Just went up this past weekend and got great things! Looking forward to the next trip!

A Must each time I am in Auburn Hills

By deltaquadrant82 |

Great prices and variety, American brands are cheap and there are always plenty of special sales!
My favorite in the area

Great place to walk around

By MS_downriver |

A great place to walk around, walk around the entire mile-length mall. Quite a few stores that i love to check out. Get a lot of walking done after a good meal at Rainforest Cafe

Pretty good deals.

By James A |

I like Great Lakes Crossing because it's pretty close to Detroit. Birch Run outlet mall has better deals but it's an open air space and it's far away. Here it's doesn't matter what the outside weather is like, but it can get crowded.

Pretty good shop.

By James A |

Last visit was good. Decent deals on all kinds of all kinds of stuff. I really enjoyed my time. It's a good option.

Recommend this place

By Nish S |

I've come here a few times over the years and it's always been a great shopping experience. This time, we had our 2.5 year old. She LOVED the play area in the food court. So this mall has a little bit for everyone, the shoppers and the kids alike.

Arcade fun

By Jack |

Dropped in to Round 1 and had a great time with the kids, even won a few plushies from the claw machines. Good place for bowling and arcade games.

Indoor Outlet Mall

By webbj8 |

This was a fantastic stop! An indoor outlet mall full of hot shops and lots of bargains. The food court was amazing - clean and bright-- but we ate at Rainforest Cafe. Oh. My. Goodness. What a treat. Not only was the food simply wonderful but the atmosphere was stunning. The animals and the noises kept you entertained through your meal.

I went through LegoLand and was mesmerized by all it had to offer. A whole room with the Detroit city-scape. Rides and demonstrations, a 4-D movie theater. You could spend a half day just in Legoland.

Christmas shopping (or a Girls Weekend) could not be better at this mall.

Shop, Dinner & Movie

By Family-Adventures-R |

We set our teens loose to shop while the husband and I take a few laps around the mall then head to one of the restaurants for a meal and then catch one of the many movies playing.

Date and family day all in one.

Lots of variety

By Cathy S |

This was our first time here. It was great. Lots of variety of shops, great prices to be found, and easy to get around. My only complaint was that it was very warm and muggy inside, didn't seem that the air conditioning was working very well. I loved the fact that it wasn't full of unsupervised teenagers rumning around like other malls. I felt safe and comfortable letting my teen walk around too. I will definitely go back for school shopping!

Great Mall!! Great Outlets!!

By Shaked007 |

This was my second visit to the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, the difference being that this time I brought my wife with me.......Don't say that I didn't warn you...!!
Great Lakes Crossing is more like a mall that an outlet place. It is fully covered and looks and behaves like a mall, but with outlet prices in most stores.
The place is HUGE and you need a good few hours to cover it all.
There is something here for everyone.
There are also various eateries catering to all tastes and pockets.
Pick up a map/guide as you enter, to make your visit more efficient and targeted.
Have a Ball!! You's Love It!!

Great mall and deals

By Bobbie M |

You could spend 8 hours shopping and still not get through everything. Great mall, great stores. Food court has many different venues to choose from.

Shop til you drop

By jetsetbet |

There were lots of great clearance sales in mid February. We love the mix of stores and restaurants for a quick break while shopping. Parking is never a problem either. My husband likes that there is always convenient seating while waiting!

Good selection of stores and nice service

By Jane C |

Great to see a few of the major chains with their clearance stores at this mall so more selection than the outlet mall grade products.

Not busy at all

By FlyAtNight |

Our family has been shopping here for at least 10 years. Back to school, Christmas shopping or just dropping in for good deals. We usually make 3 or 4 cross border trips a year, until COVID. This month the border opened for us Canadians to cross over into the US. It wasn't the same. There was no lineup at the border. Didn't see a single Ontario license plate over 3 days. As for Great Lakes Crossings, stores weren't as busy as expected in December. We still found a lot of deals and will definitely return.

Best Mall Around

By Dana |

Indoor play area, carousel, coin operated ride on toys, games, and candy... my son is entertained by by walking past the Sea Life Aquarium and Rainforest cafe. Bass Proshop has free children’s events periodically as well- like a free pic with Santa, free carousel, and crafts around Christmas. Don’t forget their freshwater tank, duck pond, and gun shooting games. (Gun range also here. )

Eat at Miyakos. Chef prepares food in front of you. Entertaining even for kids.

Avoid watching movies in the pm or weekend- teens run rampant so much that the theatre has their own security.

Love this outlet mall

By Twesty22 |

All stores under one roof! Great selection. Huge mall, wear your walking shoes! Super friendly store staff. Annoying kiosk hair straightener pushy girls.

Not the Mall it use to be

By stephade29 |

There is nothing to really come to this mall for anymore. Even the movie theater is overpriced and outdated compared to Emagine theaters. The aquarium is over priced and you literally spend less than 30 minutes there. Every store is an outlet which just means cheap last season stuff and long lines.

Big Place

By John B |

Lots of variety here. Could have got lost all day. Great value at Aeropostale outlet. Enjoyed Nike outlet & Dairy Queen which managed to be open past 9pm so we could grab on the way out. Definitely something for everyone. Bass Pro was my son's favourite.

It's a mall

By cargirlmi |

This isn't a standout place but it is nice to have an indoor outlet shopping option. You can find good deals at times but pricing doesn't seem that much less than regular retail sales. It can get very crowded and be careful in the parking lot when you are walking as people have their tendencies not to watch carefully for pedestrians. If you're a mall walker of sorts it can be nice as there are carpeted walk area vs your normal mall floors.

Incredible!

By Holly L |

We went to this mall as a spring break activity. The kids had the best time! Who would even consider taking a family vacation to a mall?!

There is so much to see and do, you could spend 3 days here exploring. We really enjoyed the shop offerings as well as the restaurants and entertainment venues.

Great Lakes is awesome

By indyIndy |

love this shop great shopping deals , especially Burlingtons, did not like the food hall though to be honest , but thats a personal choice , bur for bargains its great

Food and visited/shopping

By USMClee85 |

We want to eat at the food court and stopped by the arcade. Fun times ended up spending all night playing games with the wife and kids. Kids were estatic.

Shopping

By Karen S |

Very expensive considering this is an outlet mall. The wifi did not work. Great assortment of stores if willing to pay.

Xmas Shopping Trip

By HipHop2008 |

I would recommend this outlet mall. There's a lot of variety of stores to shop in . It's indoors so you don't need to worry about the weather. Very easy to get around.

Big awesome

By Chris T |

Wow huge spent over 3 hours walking visit the place and didn't even tour the whole place just wow. Plenty to see do and shop

Huge Very Nice Mall!

By sjw11 |

This is near to home, so we go here for general shopping. Tons of stores including several higher end -- Brooks Brothers, Coach, Johnston & Murphy, Kate Spade, Movado, Shinola Detroit, Tumi . . . as well as many other mid-range stores and a nice food court. Although I don't have young children, there seem to be fun activities for them as well as large movie theaters.

It is pleasant, clean, safe and they keep up in the marketplace with trends and ideas. It is very huge and walkable, so wear comfortable shoes. Happy to have them so conveniently nearby.

This mall is huge!

By Beth D |

This mall is huge! If you can't find what you are looking for by coming here then you probably don't need it. Also a great spot to get a couple mile walk indoors if weather is bad. Clean environment and it is nice to see a mall thriving when so many aren't. Very welcoming to our service dogs as well.

Great indoor outlets

By DL1017 |

Loved this place! So many unique shops. Ask for a discount passport book at entrance 4 .great deals!! I would come back here for the Victoria Secret store alone!

Good for winter walking

By VioletRoss |

Health-walkers won't be bored! Some of the broad corridors are carpeted and other portions are tile. There are many chairs and benches along the way. For a shorter walk, one of the large stores allows people to walk through to the other side of the mall, or you can connect through the food court. The merry-go-round in the food court is lovely. There are plush animal scooters near the theater, and a large area for little ones to enjoy them. There's a nice mix of high-end and mid-range stores, plus restaurants.

Very big

By Theresa013067 |

Has a lot to offer good prices. Lots to do and many different things to do. From Legoland to a Aquarium to movies and the rainforest cafe. Could be here all day

Shopping

By jaaluiso |

I was in the area and wanted to explore the largest outlet In Michigan, this place has tons of stores where you can find an incredible deal!

The shopping mall as a European could imagine it

By marcostinger |

I was there to fill a gap before my I leaving US.

Great place to buy. Hundreds of shops, all the most important brands. Nuce

This Place is Huge!

By Q6508GSbriang |

Lots of nice stores, most middle of the road and some high-end. A very nice mixture of brands and goods. Food court and restaurants offer a wide variety of eats/drinks. There is lots of walking here, but the Mall is very well laid out. Parking was plentiful and well-marked. Prices are not appreciably different from a non-outlet mall, but we got an excellent deal on some luggage at an outlet store at Great Lakes. Well worth a visit!

I love this mall

By Corinne N |

Great Lakes Crossing is by far my favorite mall. They have such a variety of things to do, for both adults and children. They have great restaurants, and fun attractions. They've figured out how to make a mall thrive when the rest of America's malls are closing their doors.

Nice shops

By jj2north |

Variety of shops and good eating places. Really enjoyed shopping there all day. I always plan on stopping there when I am on my way north.

greta place to shop

By domenicd2017 |

when we visit Michigan this is the mall to visit . one stop mall you can stop for lunch because you need a break it such a big mall. from sports to leisure close they have it all . Very clean mall

Lots of stores, easy to walk around

By carthy5 |

A very big mall, with lots of stores and great variety. Some of the ma is carpeted which makes it much easier to walk on. I only question whether or not the prices in some stores are actually discount/outlet pricing as they don't seem to be much less than in regular mall stores. Good food court and some good restaurants. The movie theater is also very nice.

Great place to shop and even just walk around. LEGO store too!

By Li'l Lu Fo |

Great selection of outlet stores with casual dining options. If you have children the LEGO store is open as well as the aquarium and Rainforest Cafe!

Great Place to Grab What You Need

By Lajache13 |

The mall is a great place to grab what you need. There are a variety of stores suiting many tastes. Entertainment and food options to boot, hard to go wrong here.

Great shopping

By ELM426 |

Really liked selection of stores and comfortable feel of “mall.” Lots of variety, clean, safe. Aquarium was great! Variety of species and educational. Lego Land was fun - take the time to do the movie!

Fantastic outlet, with very good prices all year long

By cbarcha |

Indoor mall located only 30 minutes from Troy downtown, with a lot of option from main brands, since clothes and perfume until house items and camping.
You shall reserve 2-3 hours to running all stores. Free parking lot, free entrance, free Wi-Fi. Fantastic promotions and very good prices... Best outlet in this region.
Highly recommended!

Many stores under one roof

By lovetoshop14 |

This is one of the largest outlets I have ever shopped in. It has 9 districts. Each district has about 30 stores in each section. They have great restaurants and a very big theater complex. There is parking all around the districts so if a person only wants to visit, lets say one of the restaurants or theater, can park right by the venue. Prices are good but it helps to know the value of a product before going. A person can easily spend a full day shopping in this outlet. They do have stroller rentals for those shopping with children. There is also a play area for the children within the food court. The food court is huge. The anchor stores are great value. All your favorite stores are here.

Shopping trip

By user82979 |

Did a lot of Christmas shopping with amazing deals! It was clean. Very busy but manageable. Would highly recommend this to everyone!

Disappointing and smelly

By MomtoTots |

Went on a Sunday with my family to browse and visit the aquarium. The aquarium was a almost $70 dollars for two adults and one child. Way overpriced. Cheaper to just go to the Detroit zoo. So we walked around the mall for maybe 10 minutes. Got hit up by pan handlers asking for money and then screaming obscenities when we refused them. Great for my kid to see. No security anywhere. The stores aren't actually outlet prices. Save time and money and just keep north on 75 and go to birch run.

This is a great mall

By zombytraveler |

Very crowded as malls are but decent shops and it's not necessarily a discount mall but it has a good amount of shops and restaurants, and you should try Myako's Japanese Steakhouse very good!!

Shop

By LRCBME |

Shop til You Drop. A great variety of stores. A lot of the outlets did have 50% or more off the regular prices.

A Great Day

By Raakesh S |

we frequented this lovely upscale mall when lived in the area x 2 yrs. huge outlet mall w/ excellent laid out shops and wide selection for whole family, a gift for S Michigan. also get lots of exercise walking around

Excellent Outlet Centre.

By Yes2scotland |

Excellent gigantic outlet centre. Amazing stores with stores for everyone. Not only great stores but theatres, Aquarium plus so many more things to do. Walking distance from the Marriott that we stayed in. Real good anchors with deals to be had. A full day of good shopping.

Shop till you drop !

By Shyam Prasad |

The title says it all. You've got pretty much all the big names in this place. Tommy, Polo, Nike, H&M, BBB and a decent selection of restaurants Bar Louie at the far corner near the cinemas that serves some amazing food.

You have AMC Star Theatre to add to the entertainment.

Remember the District you entered through (starts with 1 near the Bed Bath & Beyond). Makes a big difference in winters while returning to your car !!

Overall experience for visitors and residents is very good.

Awesome

By H5986PXmarkv |

I went with my daughter to great lakes crossing, and enjoyed it immensely. My daughter played in the kiddie ares in the middle of the food area, the time flew by.
It feels very safe at this mall, although there are the occasional pink teens running around in packs causing a disturbance .
The aquarium was awesome, very memorable. There is some hands on experiences in the, but mostly you will be dazzled and amazed by the fish, stingrays, and sharks.

Shopping

By lori k |

Great shopping experience. We're able to save a little extra with passport book that has discounts to stores just show at checkout. Mall is very clean with great choices to dine. Rainforest Cafe was fun.

Almost Perfect

By baby waby g |

The rainforest Cafe was AMAZING!!! There was delicious food and an awesome show. I wish I could have stayed there forever! Although I cant say the same about the Sea Life.

Great afternoon

By Travelmoorenow |

We enjoyed the afternoon at the mall, surprised at all the stores. Shopped at a few and bought some stuff. Be sure to go on the off peak times to enjoy it. Christmas decor is up and Santa has arrived.

Great place to shop indoor!

By Perry Y |

Hi there! Can't remember exactly when we been here, but we try to go at least a few times a year. Great Lake Crossing is the largest outlet mall in Michigan, located in Auburn Hills, about 20 mins southeast of Flint, Michigan. The shops are all indoor, so no need to worry about the cold & the rain, and there are lots of parking spots all around. It has quite a few stores that we like, etc Burlington Coat Factory. It even has a cinema in there! You could easily spend a whole day there. We used to go to the premium outlets at Birch Run, but much prefer to go to GLC now!

A shopping Mecca

By BHH3 |

Great Lakes Crossing is a place for the serious shopper. The number of outlets cover the gambit for your shopping needs. Bring comfortable walking shoes....there is a lot of area to cover. Movies and restaurants add an option to the shopping experience.

Came for the Lego's - stayed for the rest!

By SteelerFan075 |

Every other review for this place is spot-on. It is a massive indoor shopping arena that has pretty much everything in it you could ask for - even a bowling alley.

With that said, write down where you park - it helps.

What we came here for the most is the Lego store (actually Lego Discovery Center gift shop) in the mall because you can shop there without paying admission if you don't have kids. Even after that we stayed the entire afternoon and well into the evening. We ate at Johnny Rockets and stayed locally so we could enjoy things at our own pace.

Get a map to take with you or just wander around by yourself. I think this is truly one of those places where you can find something for everyone at every age. Just wear comfortable shoes if you chose to do so!

Avoid Starbucks in this mall!!!

By Cynthia D |

Went to the Starbucks in the mall for my daughter's celebration treat after a two day meet. They put whipped cream on it even though she specifically requested no wc. When this was pointed out a VERY surly young woman took it back, scraped some (but not all) off and handed it back to my daughter and walked away. When I asked that they fix it (isn't that their policy) she got very rude and told me to ask for it when I ordered. When I pointed out that we did she didn't fix it or apologize. Another employee had to do it. Made my daughter feel really bad and ruined what should have been a special treat. Horrible service. Will never go back!

Disappointed...

By Gomez1000 |

I was disappointed that Last Call and Off 5th no longer have stores at this mall. It used to be worth the drive for the potential bargains. I was happy to find a Shinola outlet with a decent selection and great prices. Otherwise they have the typical outlet stores.

Great place for shopping!

By 867businesstraveller |

A wide variety of shops with a huge choice of products and services. Good food court with plenty of different options.

Fun day trip

By Travel Gypsy |

Great Lakes Crossing is more than an outlet mall it's a shopping experience. The selection of stores is fantastic. They have something for everyone. Don't want to shop...stop by the aquarium & I don't mean the one in bass pro shop, go bowling, yup they have that too, see a movie, the options are endless. So your hungry now...name it they just might have it. The food court gives you a wide verity, plus they have other restaurants to satisfy your appitie.

Interesting

By rob27898 |

Working nearby so popped in.

This place is massive. I’ve never seen such a big car park or shopping centre.

There is an eclectic mix of businesses with some heavily themed bars and attractions with be usual high street names offering sales and discounts in this discount village.

All the staff were friendly and helpful when I went into the shops.

There is a pre opening walking club too so get your trainers on and head down from 9am to get your steps in!
Just remember where you parked...

Shopping but not buying

By KathyTX |

Had a couple of hours to kill while in Auburn Hills. Walked the entire length of the mall. It is massive. Really saw no great discounts at all since it is supposedly an outlet mall. Most of the stores are sports stores and shoe stores. We looked through several stores and the only thing I bought was a bottle of water. LOL

Everything you need in one location

By Love4meat |

I have been coming back to Great Lakes many times over the last 20 years. One of my favorite shopping destination in the US. Great service in all stores I have visited. The huge food court caters for any taste. If you are passing by. Take a break and enjoy the outlet.

Nice place to visit

By MS_downriver |

It's a good place to visit for different kinds of stores. There's only a few stores that we go up for anymore. Mostly outlets and quite a few are overpriced. Disney store is a must every time we visit. Including Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and game stop, SeaLife is cool. Rainforest Cafe is a must as well. Cinnabon is also located here. But other than that I wouldn't find a reason to go back often.

So easy to spend money or should that be save money?

By Roger G |

If you are from out of town you must go to the information desk and obtain a "passport" for each visitor. Whilst this doesn't offer a lot of discount it does enable you to claim a gift if you spend $200 per passport. This might seem a lot but like us we didn't find it difficult at all!
Because it is all under one roof you can casually browse the various outlets unlike going to a shopping street where you really can't walk, you need to drive and can't just pop in to see if you are tempted by something you can't do without!
The savings were there except for Bose who apparently don't discount only sell you "refurbished" kit that has been trialled by others.

We enjoyed a warm day indoors

By Susan L |

It was cold outside, and the play area was nice and warm. Lunch at Johnny Rocket's and a coffee from Tim Hortonswhat else could you ask for? We finished our day with a visit to Bass Pro Shop. Who can pass us their huge fish tank. And the chance for some clearance clothing. For a 15 degree day, it was wonderful and warm.

Lots to do here

By Justin W |

Great Lakes Crossing has a little bit of everything shopping food court play area for the kids Lego area aquarium movie theater my children love going to the Rainforest Cafe and playing in the kids area near the food court I've gone here by myself to grab a few gifts in the evening after work and I can tell you it gets pretty sketchy at times lots of unsupervised teens roaming the hallways

We will be back

They had so many awesome shops. Cant wait to return and go shopping more. My boys loved the Cabellas store and all the animals.

I haven’t been to an outlet in a while and when I realized we would be in the area (It was really about 45 minutes away, but what the heck!), I suggested we make a stop. I love this outlet. I love how it’s completely indoors – all the outlets I’ve been to in Jersey and Woodbury are all outdoors. The entire outlet is shaped like an oval doughnut. You can start at any section and walk in an oval shape to get through the entire outlet.

All the stores were nice and neat and nothing felt ransacked at all – which is a feeling you can get at some outlets. They had all the stores that I wanted to hit – Kate Spade, J. Crew Factory, Fossil, Ann Taylor Outlet, Banana Republic Factory, Loft Outlet, etc. They even have a Loft & Taylor Outlet! If I wasn’t flying Spirit back and was restricted to just my backpack, I would’ve went all out.

I can’t wait to come back when I have the option of a carry-on bag!

The best place to shop

By MoniQue D |

I've ben coming here for years, I love this place. I always find the best deals here. Would rather go here instead other outlet malls that are further.

Great place to spend your time

A Mall

By Claire D |

There are lots of stores just like a mall which it is. Plus an eating area with different vendors and a carrosell ride. Walking thru it stopping to look at different store windows and stores and some shopping. Theres a rain forest for children eating in it and its very noisy too but kids like the moving animals. Drive there in your own car and parking.

Good deal

By Candy P |

It's a huge mall where you can find all you are looking for. Also you can get great discounts. It has nice places to lunch.

Our daughter loves it, her parents not so much

By Davidamy617 |

Our daughter and her friends (all in their early 20's) love this mall. It's an outlet mall and does have some high end names. It does have some nice places and it feels like a treasure hunt at times. During the holidays it can get super crowded, park on the dirt crowded. Lines to get into the stores will fill the walkways. It is very popular and seems to be doing well. I don't have to return, but we will for our girl.

Nice big mall great for families too

By Toni H |

This was my first time. Quite a good selection of stores. Shopped on. Saturday and still not too crowded. If I had young kids it would be a regular destination with the aquarium, Lego place and theatres. Some. Try good deals. Great selection.

Very nice mall

By Shawna S |

Tons of stores! Our hotel gave us a card for the mall. You turned it into guest services and you get a passport. Which is good for the whole day. You get coupons to use at a lot of the stores. Plenty of places to sit and rest along the way. The over all mall is super clean. Plenty of places to eat.

Great Lakes Outlet Mall has everything!

By cherylrA1956IG |

Great Lakes Outlet Mall has everything you need. There are childrens, mens, womens, and more. There is a food court and restaurants, including the Rainforest. There is a movie theater with 25 screens and numerous food choices and even a bowling alley. Truly something for everyone!

Unique stores !

By Brenda R |

This mall has many unique stores. THINGS REMEMBERED is one of my favorites because gifts can be personalized which is great for Baptisms ,anniversary's,new baby, etc.. I am not a shopping person or a mall person, but I do like this mall for Christmas shopping and finding gifts for those hard to buy for people. The stores are great, the parking is easy and what I do is learn which section the store I want is located in before I go- then I know right where to park and I dont have to spend time walking through the whole mall just to get to my store. QUICK IN AND OUT! I suggest signing up for their emails and checking out their website- new stores are always coming in and its a good way to keep informed.

bargains if you keep your eyes open

By Michelle248367 |

went for a sale and found some real bargains. I won't go at night though, just don't fee safe there.

Complete Mall

By Guilherme C |

All the great stories are there. Besides that, it has a Legoland, theater and ans some great restaurants.

Nice Mall

By Highlander-GG |

Great Lakes Crossing is a nice Mall with many stores, a great food court, and AMC theater with IMAX. It is spread out on a single level and is great for walking before the stores open

Bath and body Works

By Dee F |

Nice store and very helpful. Went to other stores and people were accommodating. Great place for people to also walk. Like the variety of stores.

Shop for hours!

By stazytravels |

This mall has EVERYTHING! You can spend your whole day here, and find some incredible deals.

If you're from out of town, make sure to visit guest services - you can get a booklet with some additional discounts!

Great shopping experience

By Rochelle41 |

I was visiting my sister who lives in Sterling Heights. I wanted to go back to Lord & Taylor outlet. It was great the prices were excellent. Got so caught up lost track of time. Went to Victoria Secret's great prices & I did not shop in that store but their body butters are to die for prices was 3.99 for 8 oz. Basically came back 4 times for the prices & also quiet when I came. Will be back for sure.

Girls trip

By amygW8178ZN |

Love coming to Great Lakes Crossing! Wide variety of stores and deals! Recommend you visit for a girls getaway.

Good selection ...

By on-the-move-with-jens |

... of everything one may is looking for at a factory outlet mall. The overall atmosphere is ok, but do not expect anything special ...

Family Reunion trip

By RaQuishia H |

Wide array of stores. Great selection. Reasonable prices for all incomes. Near restaurants and where our hotel stay was. We found some great bargains.

Outlet Stores inside the Mall.

By Jun David |

Very convenient to shop because all the stores in under one roof. Nice selection of brand name and signature labels.

Huge food court inside.

Great Lakes Crossings

By TM1972PJ |

What a beautiful mall! It was super clean, including the main walkways. It's huge with many nice stores. Every employee was super nice to us. The area where Rainforest Cafe and Johnny Rockets are is real nice looking.

This mall is really GREAT as its name... Awesome....

By Vijayendra K |

Its a GREAT mall for people who loves shopping..A lot of big name stores, everything is there under one roof. Deals are good there, Accessible prices.. Good discounts, clearance sales... Great selection of stores and restaurants. Very good for kids. You will enjoy 3-4 hours in a this mall. If you like to walk, the weather is perfect at all times throughout the year at Great Lakes. Parking is never a problem either, ample space available without any waiting.

By Chefbryce |

Very nice! A lot of shops

By paolo p |

The mall is probably the biggest in the area: all the most famous brands are there and especially the funnies outdoor shop ever: Bass Pro Shop. I like this place

Clean and safe mall

By rubiocanada |

Mall has everything. Clean and safe feeling. Newly added arcade is great for those that dont shop. Something for everyone.

Excellent for shopping

By e322017 |

I took my friends to shop there, and my family too.
You have good prices, amazing food court and the most important thing, you have any store you probably know and it make it easier.
I love Marshall and Burlington as well, and it's inside mall.
U can't miss even not one store, because it's runs in circle.
Good prices, good mall and an amazing area with restaurants and outdoor shopping center 2 minutes driving away .

Lots of Shops!! Good for mall walkers during the day!!

By Tinkonthego0628 |

Used to drive by and shop here a lot. Many great stores. Wouldn't recommend hanging out here at night though.

Good mall, but its all outlet stuff

By Patrik L |

Its a nice, big clean mall, but its lacking some brands. If you are looking for sporting goods im sure you will find what you need, but in clothing you might not.

Christmas shopping

By Rob P |

They have every major store that you could want to go to. Great for Christmas shopping as you could probably get all of it done as I am sure you could go to every store for your entire family and friends

Outlets

By DickandRobin |

Lots of walking with easy to get lost halls. Must watch “deals” as some stores better than others. Convenient parking. Bass Pro Shops leads the pack in customer service.

Always a great place

By drtydva |

Love the selection of stores and restaurants. They just redid play structure for little kids too. If visiting ask for discount book from help desk.

Great Store Selection

By 717familyof4 |

We have not been to such a busy indoor mall in a long time. There was definitely a good reason for the number of people. The store variety was impressive. The attractions were geared toward families. The big sit down restaurants and the food court gave a great variety. The carousel was a hit with the kids and a good incentive to behave. We stopped by Starbucks, Dairy Queen, a food court hot dog stand, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and several of the stores throughout the mall. Next time we visit we plan to allow more time to take in all the shopping opportunities!

No way to get around mall

By aal0818 |

There is No way for elderly or handicap people to get around. They have strollers for young children but nothing for senior citizens or handicapped people.

Great restaurants and attractions. Shopping not as great as I remember

By GretaClan |

I used to visit this mall regularly but haven’t been here for about 8 years. I didn’t find the deals as good or the available merchandise. Great stores are shutting down like dress barn. Burlington coat factory and Marshall’s were a disaster!
I couldn’t find any decently priced women’s business suits anywhere and ended up having to go find a local Macy’s instead.
I’ll probably return but not for business clothing - just for casual and kids items. I really enjoyed the restaurants and attractions though. We did peppa pig world and the aquarium and both were hits with my 5 year old.

Rainforest cafe inside.

By Jeffrey M |

Great big huge mall. A good collection of national chains and local shops. Very big, lots of people from all over the area. Little ways from Detroit but worth going at least once.
Kids always love going to the Rainforest Cafe.

Huge! You won’t leave empty handed!

By smithemptynest |

Prices were marked down 70% at Coach and Kate Spade. Yep, you read that right. I don’t know if it was just for Memorial Day. Couldn’t resist buying a purse in each place. The other stores were good too! Lots of. variety and a huge sporting good store.

I Enjoyed Being There

By jsca777 |

Visited here on my way back from Alpena Michigan. A decent variety of stores and a well maintained mall. It's one of the largest malls that I've been to.

Shop till you drop

By Matt G |

We found this outlet mall while visiting nearby Pontiac. We were here to find dinner and we found a nice little sit-down place called "Mex". This is an outlet mall that is filled with all kinds of stores, food and activities. One of the big actvities is a place called "Sea Life Aquarium". This is a great place to go if you have kids or you are just young at heart. This mall also has a Lego Discovery place and a Disney store which had great prices and deals when we visited.

Great Mall

By Fabrienne S |

Went to the Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall for the first time, and I must say the whole family loved it. They have a lot of stores, and all of them have great prices. We enjoyed our visit, and finished the day with Rise Pies Handcrafted Pizza at the food court. The pizza tasted amazing !!!

Shopping Outlet Mall

By Kim N |

This mall includes a Play area in the food court and a carousel to ride. Lots of shops with outlet pricing. Kitchen Collection, As Seen On TV, Sketchers, Torrid, Bass Pro Shop and so many more. Johnny Rocket, Bar Louis, MEX, Rainforest Cafe' plus a couple more places to eat outside of the food court. Lego land & an aquarium within the mall give you something to do with the kids.

AMAZING

By c22hubb |

Not only does this mall have every store and activity you can image, it’s all at outlet prices. Best mall I’ve ever been to.

Shopped til we dropped

By demaranch |

We had only planned on half a day but extended our trip an extra day. We took in a movie as a break. The teens really loved all the shopping and we got some great deals

First Visit

By Travelinklan |

Instead of our usual trip to the outlets in Howell or Westbranch, we decided to go to Great Lakes Crossing. First impressions are lasting impressions and doubt we’ll go back. Yes, it’s indoors with easy access to the usual outlet stores. We found some good deals but nothing we can’t find at other outlets. We visited two different restrooms and both were very dirty. We didn’t see any security personnel and honestly, just didn’t feel safe. One restroom had an extremely long hallway but it had an emergency call button. The parking lot seemed shabby as well as some of the stores (Burlington). An aggressive man at a kiosk was trying to sell shoe kits and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Some areas of the parking lot seemed deserted. Again, not one security patrol and we moved our vehicles 3 different times. $10 to rent a stroller or cart. Lots of variety in the food court. We’ll stick with Tanger outlets.

Huge outlet mall

By Jaime M |

First of all, this outlet mall gets major points from me because it is indoors. So many outlets around the midwest are outdoor, so we get to shop in the frigid temps and other elements. Great Lakes Crossing separates everything into districts, so stores are easier to find. There are numerous entrances and exits around and plenty of parking. This mall has pretty much every outlet store that you can think of. There are some stores that aren't outlets, but I'm fine with that, since they were discount stores like TJ Maxx. There are quite a few options to eat, whether you want fast food or a sit-down setting. There is also a lot to do for all ages. Legoland, Sea Life Aquarium, and a movie theater are all contained under this roof. My husband and I walked around and did some light shopping, then later came back for a movie. Make sure you have some comfortable shoes, because this place is huge!

Not your typical mall

By David C |

I think this was one of the last enclosed malls built. Even so it is laid out better than traditional malls, but you still need to plan your shopping like a typical enclosed mall or you will be carrying a lot of stuff. Parking and entertainment is plentiful. Have fun!

WOW!!!Talk about a BIG mall

By Aud542 |

What an experience!!!!!! The largest, most organized outlet mall we've ever shopped. Well signed & directory easy to read. Huge food court with various "branches" extending out from there. Within the food court there is a carousel & an area that children can play. We also visited our first Pro Bass store which is enormous in size. Light in clothing selection, but if you are a hunter or fisherman, you've died & gone to outdoor activity Heaven. A stop by the Rain Forest restaurant is a must. Overall you could spend an entire day there & not see it all.

Good place to buy

By Tatiana B |

This Outlet is excelent. They have all good brands and, the best, is indoor. Even during rain, snow, cold or summer, you can go and do your shopping with confort.

Mall with good anchors. But still a mall.

By JSVTR |

I was in the mood for a mall when we visited. This filled the bill. Decent enough. Nice little food court. Very busy on the Sunday we visited. Little rough around the edges. Could use some sprucing up. But if it's a mall you want, this should be good.

Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall

By Dale B |

Seems like many stores are changing and not in the outlet mall anymore. Lord & Taylor was closing when we were there as well as other stores that were there previously

It's fun shopping at Great lakes

By Vaibhav G |

It's very big shopping mall having most of the branded outlets gives you more options to shop. There is also food mall inside and movie theatre inside to spend some time on weekend.

Good for all the family

By Catherine S |

Huge mall with lots to offer everyone, lots of shops with a good variety of goods, and pretty goods sales too.

Open air!

By Laura K |

Partridge creek is very nice open air mall. Very Clean and pretty.love going there just to walk around. Shopping is relaxing. Has some very nice restaurants. Like seeing people walking their dogs. Summer time they have live music in center area.

Busy mall

By Michael B |

A lot of stores, so you can typically find what you are looking for. No anchor stores here, so if you want to shop Macy's, J C Penney or Kohl's, this is not the place to go. Big mall that is also great if you just want to walk and get some exercise.

Something for Everyone

By runaway2travel |

Not only does this mall have plenty of good deals and most major name brands you are familiar with, but you also have a movie theater, sealife aquarium, legoland, and food court. There is pretty much something for everyone and more offerings than most strip malls, which is why we drive the 2.5 hours over a few times a year to visit.

A lot of the stores, at least those we visit, offer discounts for your email address which is nice. We already had signed up for some, and we still had gotten the 20% discount for being a member. 5 Nautica shirts + 1 pair Ralph Lauren cargo dress shorts = $72.00 total with all discounts provided. That is an awesome deal!

This place has a bit more to offer IMHO than Birch Run, but it's pretty close between the two depending on what you prefer in your shopping experience. I like that they have more food options both in the mall and nearby, plus closer for the drive all things considered.

This place is right off a major highway, with plenty of parking.

Great shopping

By jackzuk |

Good store selection, good prices and variety of retailers. The only Victoria Secret outlet in the area prices are very discounted. The only other VS outlet to compare is in Orlando FL. Oakley outlet is awesome. Food court is good for families.

Great shopping

By CaGa33 |

I love this place, so many great shops all under one roof. It is easy to spend the entire day in this mall, searching for a great deal and I usually find them.

Great lakes crossing outlets

By NICFAMILY01 |

This mall is huge!
We spent well over 4 hours here over 2 day! Our Canadian to american dollar was poor making somethings more expensive than in Canada but there are stores for everyone! Our group was ages 12 -68 and none of us were bored!

Lots of stores...

By Scott U |

Mall is a typical mall. Many stores, Bass Pro Shop was beautiful. Kids had great time shopping. Lots of okay deals.

More discounts with passports

By msladygee |

We are from Toronto, crossed over from Port Huron. This Outlet is very much like Vaughan Mills shopping centre. It's huge and spacious. We picked this instead of an outdoor outlet because we have little kids. It's got a good size very child friendly play area in the centre of the mall where the food court is. This Outlet has many choices of eats-restaurants, legoland, bass pro, and sealife.
Now, talk about the sales, it's good but not excellent. Most stores have sales. Lots of clothing stores, many for kids. No big brand name stores, good for economical family shopping. Again, they likely have sales all year around, but it's not like shop til you're dead kind of deals.
Foreigners can get a Shopping passport from guest services. Not great deals because many of them can't be used for discounted items. After a certain spending amount, guest services will give you a souvenir with the day's receipts.
Stroller rental is crazily expensive, $12 for a double stroller. And I think you can get $1 back.
Nearby stores are Costco and Target, and other department stores. Very good area.

Great shops!

By Libbi C |

Stopped here for an impromptu visit on a road-trip and ended up staying for hours and getting loads of bargains. Good for plus size shops, good range of shops and easy to navigate.

Disappointing visit

By FlyAtNight |

We were here the week after Christmas and it was expectedly busy. Some of my favorite stores are no longer there and I even saw one or two storefronts that were vacant. I estimate we purchased about a quarter of what we would normally spend. The restrooms were in an awful state the one time I visited.

Something for everyone

By Rachel548 |

Large mall (you'll get your steps in for the day) with a good variety of stores. Decent restaurants and some extras like the aquarium and legoland. Could easily spend a day here, especially a rainy one.

Massive indoor factory outlets

By MarcoPolo41959 |

Why swelter, freeze or get drenched outside when you can shop indoors in a massive, and I mean massive factory outlet mall. Name the outlet and chances are it's there, free Wi-Fi, sitting areas, all the conveniences that make your shopping enjoyable.

Needs more selection but good place

By Renee B |

I live near Great Lakes and I was there looking for the latest deals...nice place for tourist and families with children. Nike shoe store a must see. Depends on time of year one can get a great deal here.

Great Outlet Shopping

By GarwoodFam |

My family and I love going to Great Lakes Crossing. It a huge outlet shopping mall in Auburn Hills, Michigan. They have a huge directory of stores from Bath & Body Works to Bed Bath and Beyond. Two of my favorite stores. I also love The Vera Bradley store. It's great when they offer fifty percent off with an additional thirty percent off. The deals are AWESOME! The mall offers an AMC movie theater which is great for my husband and my son, they don't always like to walk around with me. My husband likes Bar Louie resturant. Charming Charlie's has a huge store at Great Lakes Crossing. They also have the Sea Life Aquarium and The Rainforest Cafe. To top it off the selection of restaurants in the food court is great. The kids play area sits right in the middle of the mall. Parking is easy. The mall is one big circle. More stores and resturants sit outside the mall area as well. Happy Shopping!

Nice shopping

By Alicia O |

We enjoyed shopping here. It has many stores and great deals. The flow is nice as well. I would suggest a few more sit down restaurants. But that is just my suggestion. They have a few there.

Great Indoor shopping n beyond for the family

By Gary C |

Always prefer this outlet as it design all shop at indoor environment. Just follow the circle flow n will not confuse where is the current location. Here also got better food n drink choice as it got a few good restaurent within the mall. Beside this, it also take care of kid as it got lego land, sea life, rainforest n movies theatre.

Great Mall ! Always Packed!!

By danielgD5970RN |

It's a good place to find everything, mall have recently open an auquarion and lego land, they have several stores and prices during the holidays are really good. For my is not at 5 star due the restrooms, they need to be cleaned more often.

Shopping Outlet

By Liz7567 |

Indoor outlet stores in a great location! Last visit we noticed our favorite stores have closed. A little disappointing but we will continue to visit the outlet.

Excelent place to shop

By Mabell C |

While living in Auburn Hills, MI this is a must go place. Prices are accessible. There are several dining options some give a discount whenever you go to the Cinema.
Which is a good deal.
I have found great prices and deals. And also, you can walk and work out with the Walk Club in the Outlet.. Great! :)

Still a great mall

By Doug C |

Haven't been here for a few years and it was just as good as we remembered. Expected a lot of empty stores but that wasn't the case at all.

I love a good outlet mall

By Sheila M |

This is currently my favorite shopping destination. We found great deals at some of our favorite stores. And enjoyed a delicious lunch at Bar Louie. Chicken nachos highly recommended.

Shopping

By smros178 |

Very large mall ... has so many great stores and many reasonable prices throughout (as its an outlet) food court is huge with so many choices! You definitely get in some exercise. It was a good visit before Christmas while we were staying right across the street at TownePlace Suites.

Great place

By TL21 |

Indoor outlet mall with a something for everybody. Spent about three hours walking around and checking out the stores - decent variety and prices. With three kids the outlet provided a few stores for each of them.

Interesting place but I would not make it an essential visit.

By Greg P |

This place reminds me of places like Gatlinburg TN. Lots of weird tourist trap stuff but some nice shopping also. Kids would have fun here so a good way to spend some time with them. Variety of food to choose from and the mall was fairly clean and bright. It reminds though of places that have come and now on there way out. I doubt very much I would ever go back even if I was in the area.

Love shopping here!

By 199hollyk |

I love shopping here! The variety of places to both shop and dine are great! And interspersed with that are the comfortable massage chairs and numerous benches.
Whomever made the decision to convert this to an outlet center made a very wise choice! We always go twice a year and we will be back again in the fall!

Great place

By Diana R |

Went to Great Lakes Crossing with my daughter and 3 grandsons. They went to Legoland and I shopped so we were all happy. Nice selection of stores, some are outlets. Also a theater, aquarium and lots of good places to eat.

Always great deals

By Bcrots88 |

Its Michigan's largest outlet mall. We always find great deals here and the mall is huge. Good places to eat in the mall too. I love making a day trip and going! Every one of the store is an outlet store now. Love this place! (Also has a rainforest cafe and a few other cool site down places to eat besides the food court)

Great mall with lots to do with children

By RItraveler |

We have visited Great Lakes Crossing quite a few times now during visits to Michigan and always enjoy our trips. There is a great range of stores to cover all bases as well as numerous attractions for children of various ages. For shopping I would definitely recommend visiting on a weekday when it is much quieter and easy to wander around. The weekends we have visited have been busy but still fine. The children’s play area in the food court looks great but was closed during our last two visits (I think it may be being upgraded?). The Bass Pro Shop is a must visit for something a bit different and if visiting from more than 50 miles (I think!) away you can get a visitors book with extra discounts and offers from customer service.

Lots of stores and all are indoor!

By My2Cents |

This is one of the big outlet mall in Michigan. Lots of name brand stores. We don't have to go all the way up north to shop. Great food club with nice restaurants. Parking is not bad. This is a good mall to walk in the morning. If you are visitor from out side of state, do not miss to visit this mall. Near by mall there are good restaurants are too. For kids, Lego store and other fun stuff too! Every members in Family can enjoy the Mall.

Huge place

By Tenzo G |

This place is amazing. So big and so many shops. You could literally spend days in this place. Easy access and great deals hard to find stuff, all under 1 huge roof. Definitely and must see

Girls weekend

By grandmabuck |

Once a year us ladies get together for a girls shopping weekend. We love this place. There is something for all of us and the food court has plenty of choices. Lots of stores you never know what does your going to find

Great Outlet Shopping Center

By Ein_Stuttgarter |

Enough parking spaces, never too crowded, plenty of brand stores, friendly staff, food corner, ... all you need for shopping. It’s the largest outlet mall in Michigan.

Prices are not really lower than in stores across Europe, but (in my opinion) the variety is better.

I recommend this place for days with uncomfortable weather- on other days Michigan - such a beautiful State - has so much to offer outdoors.

Great mall for all!

By Kfrantum |

Although it can get a bit crowded on the weekends, this mall has it all! The store selection is great, and they are all outlet stores usually having fantastic sales. The food court has a good selection of fast food options or you can choose one of the delicious restaurants where you can sit and enjoy your meal. You can really make a day at this mall a family outing with attractions such as Sealife Aquarium and Legoland. Enjoy!

Excellent Mall

By house101292 |

I was really impressed with this mall. It has lots of stores. Everything is clean. The main corridors were easy to navigate. The Bass Pro Shop is super nice and has everything you could want.
One of the top malls in Michigan. No Doubt.

Always busy

By Teachsomething |

Doesn’t matter what day it is, it’s going to be busy. A lot of outlets to see and shop at. Great restaurants in the mall as well.

Fun at the mall

By Robert S |

We had an excellent visit. The mall was clean and many stores to visit. The parking lot was just plowed and cleaned.
We will be back again.

Mall is filled with trash who fist fight in the middle of food court. Not to mention being grabbed by the kiosk employee

By Nichole C |

Dont bring your family or young children here. This is not a family mall. Young girls fist fighting with their children on their hip. Females walking around with no panties or bras on with just a sheer coverup. You will be better off taking your child to a strip club because they will see less then you do at this mall. Left in less then a hour because i was horrified that they allow the things they do.

Shop til you drop

By s.lu.211 |

Great shops, great prices, but what happened to customer service center... They used to give out of towners coupon pass book?!?!!!!!???
Now What?
Oh well,
Wear comfy shoes and clothing!

Good variety

By MotownMo |

There is a good variety of stores and restaurants located there with close parking and easy access to the ones you want to visit.

Playground for kids, sales for everyone

By Shereef-Marzouk |

It's awesome and had a party ground for kids 42"and shorter

And great prices for everyone

Most shops there are factory outlets hence the great prices

Great place for shopping

By Sergio A |

So many good options in one place, it's a must if you are in the Michigan Area. You always can find good deals and also a nice food court.

Awesome place for great shopping

By CS61612 |

We really enjoyed the Great Lakes shopping outlets. Tons of wonderful outlet stores and a fun atmosphere. My only complaint is there just wasn’t enough time. :)

Way too crowded

By stephaniez4810 |

The place was packed! It's been years since we visited Great Lakes Crossing. I don't recall the congestion. I know it's great for businesses but oh my goodness! Honestly, I won't go back.

Chance Discovery.......Great Find!!

By Shaked007 |

During a visit to Michigan, I was instructed by my better half to search for a Converse outlet store and get shoes for said lady and for a granddaughter.
I Googled Converse and looked for an outlet. My tablet came back with an address for such an outlet. Off I went. The address didn't mention anything about this being part of an immense outlet mall......
Google maps took me there through some very uncomfortable neighborhoods (As mentioned by another reviewers regarding nights in the area......).
And suddenly I was there. The place is HUGE!! As opposed to various strip-mall-type outlet centers, The Great Lakes Crossing is a proper covered shopping mall, with the primary difference being that all stores here are outlets!!!
Needless to say - I found the Converse store and got some beautiful shoes literally for peanuts. The two recipients haven't stopped smiling since........
While I was there I went hunting for other items on my shopping list and found everything I needed, at excellent prices.
This is a shrine for people who aren't too fond of shopping - Because everything is there and you can find whatever you need under one roof without having to drive all over the place.
Great Chance Discovery!! Excellent Outlets!!

Great Place to shop

By Bill C |

I love the fact that it is all indoors. We originally planned to go to Birch Run but this ended up be the better choice

Lots of other shops and restaurants near by.

Nice mall

Very few actual outlet stores but still a nice entirely enclosed mall. That's hard to find in 2017. A lot of choices and a nice food court.

Black Friday shopping

Very busy! Not worth it for Canadian shoppers. Prices are similar to our prices with the exchange rate, not worth the drive.

Very huge mall

So many stores! Did not even see the whole thing! Enjoyed the mall and salespeople at stores I visited were friendly even though it was very busy! I would shop there again.

Outlet Mall with Regular Pricing

Nice destination mall to go to for the first time. Other than that, I don't feel the prices really reflect "outlet" prices. Would not recommend going on a Friday or Saturday evening as the crowd becomes "sketchy".

Nice mall

I come here a few times out of the year. Overall a great variety of shops, entertainment, and food. Can be very crowded on the weekends. I recommend weekdays or early weekend mornings.

Afternoon at the outlet

Big outlet! We could have spent hours here but we did not. Plus we did not buy anything, just window shopped. But this outlet is awesome. So many stores. So many to choose from. And the food court was great, too!

Spacious Shopping

We visited GLC for the first time a few days ago. There are stores for just about every common interest and lots of eateries to satisfy your hunger. We were impressed with the wide open areas and the cleanliness.

Very Nice Outlet, All Indoors

By Mike B |

Very nice outlet mall, with all the stores accessible from indoors. This was especially nice on the day we went.....when it rained. Lots of outlet stores to choose from, and the place is huge. We didn't come close to seeing the whole place, but the stores we visited were having some great sales. Great place to kill a couple of hours if you're in the area.

Added new top designers

As with all manufacturer Outlets, Great Lakes attracts the best and there's a lot of turnover. They also try real hard to make it a full event venue having added the Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland.

There aren't a lot of restaurants but it's a fairly decent food court.

I like that they have finally added some of the better designer outlets yet keeping the old standards like TJ Maxx and Marshalls still in place.

It's also perfect venue for a good walk because it's built in a circle.

Very large indoor outlet mall!

I visited the Great Lakes Outlet mall with my daughter-in-law. The selection of stores is amazing; and I wasn't able to even go to all the stores. The end of the mall with Lego Discovery was packed. Lots of things for children to do. I recommend a visit. Plan to spend a lot of time there.

Our favourite mall experience

By S4th |

Great Lakes has the best stores and fresh product selection every time we go. The stock turns over daily it seems. We stay close by in hotels and enjoy the restaurants in the mall or close by, as well as other outlet oriented shops. Never been disappointed after 20 years.

Quick stop

Large choice of stores. Marshalls was favorite and only store I visited during this visit. Found what I needed and more!

Favorite Outlet (and so much more) Location!

Where to begin? This place is great if you are looking to get some shopping done (tons of stores). You can spend an entire day shopping, the attractions offered there, a movie theater, or going from restaurant to restaurant for food and drinks. Plenty of variety for everyone in your family to find something of interest. Every time that I have been to Great Lakes Crossing it has always been clean and well-kept. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for something to do on a rainy day or looking to purchase a new wardrobe. Definitely plan a few hours (unless you know exactly what store or stores you are looking for and don't plan on spending time being distracted with other stores you see along the way).
