This ride is a big 'Wow!' from beginning to end. I have been coming to Knotts since I was 5 to ride coasters and I love this one.

We all really loved it, and can’t wait to go back and go on it again. The hang time is brutal and awesome!!

Gird your loins because this thing dangles you over the main drop. Oh and with only a lap restraint!

Worth going for. Very fun and exciting. The lineups are not bad at all and our 11 year old daughter loves it as do we.

Went on this with my bf back in December. We went on it at night which was scary but really fun. It's very fast and honestly makes you feel a little sick at the beginning. I'd go on it again.

This roller coast is a blast but a bit scary. Straight up and then you hang... facing the ground. Puts your heart in your throat. Then a bunch of twist and turns. A little short but a lot of fun for advanced roller coaster riders.

Got to ride it 8 times over a two day period and loved it.
The lift hill is a 90 degree climb and then there a 6-7 second pause at the top, where riders truly hang over the drop. The drop is 150 feet plus at a 96 degree angle which is wild. The ride is not overly long, but features a number of inversions. It is really, really smooth.
Throughput is critical to having the wait time manageable and on the days we were there, they did a very nice job.

The ride is super fun, and exhilarating. Although it is a great ride and one of my favorites, the employees are very rude. I recently went with my family and friends with evening and one of my family friends had to get off due to her weight. Which I am not saying there is anything wrong with that maybe she was over the limit, but the employees made fun of her and started calling her names. This is very in humane, especially because they were calling mind you, A CHILD names!!

Straight up and great view then scream until it’s over. Crazy good if your a coaster fan. Don’t go if you aren’t.

for being such a big ride, it does not shake you, or give you spinal problems afterwards. the turns & loops are gliding. like flying. its fun and not "violent" like other rides at this park.

Hang Time is the newest roller coaster at Knott’s which made its debut last year. It starts off by immediately going straight up into the air with your back parallel with the ground. You are just looking straight up into the sky, up, up, up...and then you are brought upright for a moment only to then come face to face with the ground and you are very high. That’s when you Hang. 9 seconds staring straight down. Then off you go...wow! Love this roller coaster!

very smooth, very cool ride! loved everything about this cool new attraction. (except for the lines!)

I rode this ride back in May for the first time (twice in the same day) and I must say that it is an excellent addition to the park! The Gerstlauer coaster starts by going up a steep vertical lift hill before settling at the top for a few moments and taking in a good view of the park.
After that the car curves down a small bump into a beyond vertical drop of about 96 degrees before coasting through about five inversions to give the impression that you're surfing some waves.
I like the restraint bars and how they don't feel as restrictive as the usual over-the-shoulder harnesses that traditionally come with roller coasters featuring loops/inversions. They hold you in comfortably while allowing you more freedom to wave your hands and experience some great air-time moments throughout.
I like how the cars don't rush their way through the loops but rather slow down so that you can feel the g-forces in a smooth, yet exhilarating fashion. Even after having a big lunch, I did not feel nauseous at all despite the amount of loops I went through partly because of how smooth and careful the ride is in making its way through the numerous twists and turns.
I loved this ride so much I had to get a T-Shirt of it afterwards. Definitely a worthy (and superior) replacement to Boomerang.

We went on the front row of the car the first day it opened. It is pretty scary especially the front car in the beginning because there is nothing in front of you when you "Hang". Kind of freaky with nothing to hold on to except for the 2 small handles on the clamp that hold you down in the mid section. It was pretty scary not one that I will go on every time I go and I go often! Definitely worth going on and not usually a huge line for it (that might be telling you something). It is a great upgrade instead of Boomerang which was in it's place before it. Best to get there early when it opens and go straight on it and any others that you want to go on. Say Hello to Snoopy for me!

Voted the tops by my children and cousins. Enjoyed the ride very much that the can’t stop talking about it.

HangTime is overall a thrilling coaster, but the scariest part of this ride for me is the vertical chain lift and when it holds you 150ft in the air. The vertical chain lift packs a very unexpected thrill and a couple of seconds of anticipation as you climb towards the peak of this coaster, giving a weird feeling like you’re going to fall. Once you reach the top and are being held before the beyond vertical drop at a 60 degree angle, you feel like you are leaning forward, almost out of your seat. It holds you for about 5 seconds, then you dive into the weightless, 122ft drop above the queue line of terrified people. You barely feel the drop because it’s so fast, but it’s still scary and fun. You don’t feel the inversions at all, and the bunny hill towards the end of the ride really sucks you back into your seat. Very fun ride, and that’s coming from a person scared of rollercoasters.

We'd been waiting to see what Knott's Berry put in the old Boomerang site and got to ride Hangtime when we visited last year (finally catching up on my updates).
Operation was pretty smooth and the crew were good at getting people on and off, also giving you your seating preferences if it weren't too busy. It's a shorter ride with a small carriage capacity so efficient turnovers were important to keep things moving and the operations supported the design so it felt like the queue was moving regularly.
Seats were comfortable, the restraint bars were good and I didn't get any discomfort during the ride.
The ride itself is great. Obviously limited by available space for the ride it starts well with the climb-pause-drop and a fairly intense first half with twists, loop and turns. Good sense of speed, smooth enough with some nice drops and air. Really enjoyed this coaster and it's a worthwhile addition to the park.
Rode multiple times and didn't get tired of it. Well done Knott's Berry.

Wanted to go on this ride, but the lines were so long, we couldn't even try. Apparently the secret is coming on an off-rush weekday. We just got to watch the ride repeatedly, but never got to ride it before we left.

We took our seven year old on this ride and he loved it more than we even did (yes - he was above 48" before anyone starts calling child services). Honestly, one of the best roller coasters I have been on. It was high, fast but smooth; you didn't bash your head as you went around corners and around and around and we all loved it

Absolutely love this ride, very very intense right from the start. Love it and will be back! Will tell everyone to come here for this

Although it is extremely short, this ride turns you inside out in what cant be more than a minute. Rode it twice to insure I experienced everything beyond the initial HANG.

This was our third visit to Knotts Berry Farm but the first since Hang Time has opened. We went straight there. It’s passed the station and over the railway tracks. There was no real queue on the day of our visit so we went to the front. The seats are comfy as is the ride despite its drops and loops. It starts with the big vertical drop and you hang there for a few seconds before plunging down. You then move through a number of loops Ann’s spins but it’s all relatively smooth. The ride is a decent length and really great fun. Definitely our favourite of the day.

My 28 year old loved this coaster. He did it 5 times in a row. He is a Coaster expert. I would go back to park just for this ride

One adult and a 9 year old loved it. Couldn't get anyone else to ride after they watched it go all directions!
Definitely get the Fast Pass if your going to go on many of the roller coasters, but this one is insane! My soul felt like it left my body and didn't know where to go lol.
