We got a membership for six months when we first got our ATVs. And had a great time. We just renewed after a six-month lapse, and when we came back we found the park was better than ever. They are constantly improving signage, accessibility, and facilities.

There are trails for motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, and full size 4x4’s. The trails are plentiful and we’ve been here several times and still managed to find new trails to ride. Some of them are super easy all the way up to expert level.

My only complaint would be that some of the trails they rate as a 3 diamond Trail are considerably more difficult than some that are rated as one and two diamonds. Fortunately we are smart enough to turn around if a trail seems to be more challenging than what we are up for or that our experience level dictates.

The staff has been very helpful, and the grounds are well-kept. This is our first time staying in the campground and it is nice. They have two campgrounds, one with 50 amp service and full hook ups and one with 30 amp service and no hook ups.

We are staying with the 30 amp service and there are plenty of big trees around. The a campground with 50 amp service has sites a bit closer together without as many big trees. I did notice today that they had planted trees down there, so clearly they are working to make the park better all the time.

Park is open Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and if you are a member you can come in on the days that they are closed.

Lots of families here and lots of tent camping spaces as well.

Hidden Falls Adventure Park has helped so many veterans and their families to heal. The area is natural and rugged. They also have a shooting range.

We just got back from Hidden Falls Adventure Park and we loved it!! We took a guided tour in 2 jeeps that took about 2 1/2 hours. I will say that the first few ascents had me squeezing my eyes shut and then watching for my 10 & 13 yr olds and mother-in-law in the jeep behind mine. The trails were tough enough to keep my kids amazed and in awe! My guide was wonderful and very informative about the vehicle and it's modifications and abilities, local landscape, surroundings, park information and more. (Even if he did laugh a few times at my attempts to not freak out)
The other guide, with my mother in law & kids, kept me updated on my sons behavior (telling me that he was using perfect manners and doing great!), offered to take pics for us and told us where and how to take our own.

WELL this used to be a Fun day or weekend But since Mr Brooks sold his business to the new crook owner prices are up and people are RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS. DO not spend your money here. TRY TO FIND a recreational business that will appreciate your dollars you are willing to spend . Trade your Off road stuff in on a boat where yiou can enjoy a day in the outdoors. THESE guys days are numbered. They cannot stay in business and treat people the way they do. Its just a matter of time they will be history. God bless Mr Brooks as when he owned the business it was great affordable and FUN FUN FUN. N OW its over priced and run by greedy owners and as I say their days are numbered.

I am shocked at the amount of amazing reviews this "park" received..I didnt read all of them so didnt notice if any of them were beginners like myself and my husband---- Someone wrote "the trails are well marked" WHAT?!!!!!! the trails are NOT well marked---first of all i must have told the guys that we were beginners over and over again,,,i emailed him that we were beginners,,,i even asked if there were tours or guides,,so we wouldnt get lost or go off on a trail that we werent ready for...I still have their reply assuring us there would be no problems,,,that there is always someone around in case of anything.....WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!! they hand you a map,,,show you how to use the ATV and send you on your way... we were enjoying ourselves the first hour until we started to realize we were going in circles,,,,,,we tried EVERYTHING,,,we followed that map like it was the bible and STILL got lost...and mind you,,,we are pretty good with maps and directions in general....I actually love maps--- So we are finding ourselves on trails we really shouldnt be trying to ride,,,,but there is no one around and we havent a clue as to how to get out of this predicament!! two more hours go by and i start calling the park ranger...I tell him we REALLY need someone to help us get back to safety as it is getting dark and also starting to rain,,,,,,the reply is "where are you....okay... i think i know where you are ,,so try this...." and he proceeds to give us directions....It didnt help....15 minutes later I call again telling him we are near a creek and didnt think we should be driving through it,,,,,it seemed a little dangerous (once again i need to remind you we have never done this before) I am reassured that we are going in the right direction even though the only sign i see has something to do with advanced riding,,,some sort of very rough terrain ahead----- 5 minutes later i have my husband call him but they insist we will be able to find our way back on our own...okay,,,did i say it was getting dark and raining,,and we are somewhere in this park ALL ALONE,,,we never saw anyone for a very long time!! Finally I got on the cell phone which was losing its battery by now and DEMANDED someone come and get us..I was frustrated,,,angry,,,scared,,,and pretty damn wet!!! My husband wouldnt admit it but i knew he felt the same...Well,,,a guy in a pickup truck finds us and we follow him back to the entrance of the park,,,,I was beside myself and could barely speak, i was so angry... I insisted that the maps were not clear,,,and that i told him we were beginners and thought he would have had guides or at least people who knew the trails through out the park in case of such an event as ours...He had very little to say,,well i then told him we should be compensated for our terrible experience...He refused,,,He didnt even offer us ANYTHING to make up for what happened.. Now I dont know whats out there...im not from texas.....If you think about it,,,this was a serious situation that could have ended up very differently.... I cant believe these men didnt even blink an eye, didnt care AT ALL... Just looked at me and said .."sorry...theres nothing we can do about it"
I would NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER tell anyone to visit this park.... What they did was completely utterly WRONG,,,,,,,I dont want to get dramatic but we could have died,,,ok??
I mean,,yeah,,,,it was that scary after awhile..... Something so simple as a ride in a park ended up being a nightmare,,,,,and it didnt have to be that way,,,,,There was no sign of any emotion on this guys face,,, I was dumbfounded! Look,,im sorry if i ruined someones plans to visit this place,,,but seriously even if you know the trails and you really have the experience for ATVing,,
dont support this park,,,,What if that was your kid who was out there? I mean really!!!

It's very rocky! But the ATV trailers are great for dirt bikes if you don't want to venture out on a lot of rocks. It's a big place and you can get lost so read the signs. They are signs along the trails to help.
We had a great time. The staff was great and very friendly.

The trails are awesome as far as we are concerned best park in Texas. Bathrooms, shower are super clean.

Off road adventure park located in the Texas Hill Country outside of Marble Falls. They offer over 240 miles of motorized off road trails for ATV, UTV, Motorcycle, 4x4, and rock crawlers. No gasoline available in the park. Camping, paintball, rentals, and a shooting range is also available. Several of the trails are ATV and Motorcycle only. Nice clean park. The RV park area had nice restrooms and a shower. The other areas have porta-can facilities. We drove our stock 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The 4x4 trails are rated 1-6 in difficulty. Stock vehicles should stay on trails rated at 1 and 2. The park roads are rated at 1 and 2. There was an area on the park roads 2 and 3 where we stopped and turned around. I think we had the clearance, but no skid pan for the engine and transmission. Lots of uneven rocks. Did not want to risk damage. Would like to add skid pan protection and go back sometime. Overall we had a pretty good time. Check their website before you go to help plan your trip.

This was my first time at this park, LOVED it! Fantastic trails, cute cabins and a general store. We rented a cabin, it’s plain and basic but worked. It would be nice if they had a covered patio and some light.

By AussieBlazers |

We have visited almost all the ATV parks in Texas and without doubt this is the best. The park is very clean, restroom facilities good and it is huge! All the trails are well marked and have clear ratings of difficulty. We had problems with our tow car while we were there and the staff were just fantastic!

Note that the nearest store/fuel supply is about 8 miles from the park so bring your own cooler and gas.

I've never been disappointed coming out to Hidden Falls. They've got something for everyone regarding off-roading. If you're a novice and want to take it easy, or you're an experienced wheeler who wants to push the limits of your rig, you won't be disappointed.

Check out The Tower, a spot with a view of the hill country for miles. There are a few ways to get up there, one that's easy and one that involves going up quite a steep incline, great for the adventure seeker in you!

By the way, if you're reading this, I strongly recommend you don't wheel alone. Always have at least one other vehicle wheeling with you, for recovery/safety purposes. There's always a crowd of friendly people up there, and you'd be hard-pressed to find folks that wouldn't welcome another person to join in the wheeling fun.

The staff at the store/check-in office are all very friendly and can answer any questions you have about the trail conditions, as they do change frequently with rain/weather.

Highly recommend it!

Went in a stock 2014 Jeep JK Willys. There are a number of trails we enjoyed, even did a level 3-4 which they don't recommend for a stock jeep but we had a blast. I would recommend acquiring some knowledge from a good source before trying something like the 'North Pole' trail which is up a steep hill. Someone with a 2 day old jeep rolled it on that trail while we were there. However, there are plenty of trails that are plenty safe for a novice like we were. The people there were great as well.

We had a great time getting a little dirty. There were a few times that we got lost - the trails are not marked as well as they could have. The staff was very nice. We were definitely not experienced, so we needed to stick to level 1 & some level 2. There were a few trails that we needed to stay off of. I have a feeling it would have been even more fun if it was a little muddy. It was very dry when we were there, so our eyes seemed to get a lot of dirt in them even despite the glasses.

Had a blast. 1st time ever going off road w/ my Toyota FJ Cruiser. Got there and jumped right in with a group. Very friendly and they helped me out w/ spotting. Going back again...

First time here with my Jeep Rubicon…amazing day! Everyone very helpful especially the guy at the general store. He helped us find trails that were just right for beginners.
Can’t wait to go back with our kids.

We visited in February. It was a great guided tour...a small group and a few places to splash extra if you wanted to. Booking and service was great! We would definitely love to do this again!

Best place to off road .Bring your family ,Bring your wife or even come by yourself .
All levels available but when you get used to the park you will do all of them .
Amazing place in Texas

I stay in Houston and the drive is worth it ,I've been to hidden fall adventure park many time ,I enjoy the trails and obstacles that the park offers, keep in mind lvl 3-5 trails will need modified 4x4 vehicles to get through, best trail is wet and wild, and bronco buster

By Travis L |

Have a blast every time I was there price is a lil high but once you hit the trails u forget all about it well worth the price

By Deborah B |

Husband & I took our 4-wheeler for an outing. Trails were fun & well marked. Lots of room to roam. A few places were quite hard to maneuver. Overall lots of fun!

By Sydni S |

I love this place and I do recamend y'all to come. The only bad thing is that there some dangerous trails so just be careful.

By Liz MC |

Just what we were looking for! Loads of off road trails for all experience levels surrounded by trees and a few wildflowers. Some trails are just steep while others are full of huge rocks and inclines. Most of the trails were marked, but we found using GPS was easier to see where we were going. We didn't stay at the campground, but cruised around on the ATV and I was amazed to see the enthusiasts with all their gear. Very small store on site and a good truck when we visited in a Friday. Highly recommend. Be patient with others, regardless of your level!

We were there for a couple of days with a group of 100 or so full size 4x4s. The group had their own trail leaders so we had no issues with trail finding while part of that group, however I believe that without that, some of the way finding could have been a challenge at some critical points (like from the top of the Wildcat mountain where I did not see trail signs).
Overall the trails are inconsistent in rating levels, partially due to work being done all over the park it seems. Many of the tough spots have bypasses available where the original rated trail has become too eroded and extreme for the rating. I would recommend an update to the available map at a high resolution be available - I used an app called AllTrails and was able to track my location on the trails listed on that map even without cell coverage which helped a lot.
The main park roads are being widened just now as are other trails such as north pole, Hog Alley and others - I will reserve judgement on all the changes until I have a chance to come back and see progress.
The facilities in Area B were excellent - lots of good areas for camping in Tents or hook ups for RVs etc. Would be good to have a couple of urinals in the gents rather than just 3 toilet cubicles, but this was never really a major issue. Showers worked well with plenty of hot water. Other facilities such as the Pavilion work great for the group, and many of our colleagues who used the bunk houses were happy with their choice.

Hidden Falls Adventure Park is a 4-Wheel park for ATVs, motorcycles and Jeeps/other 4-wheel drive vehicles. I can only speak to the Jeep 4x4 trails but we have been 5 times in the last year with the most recent trip being last weekend. We always go in a group and I recommend going with someone who has been before. The trails are rated 3-6 with 3 being treacherous and 6 being downright ludicrous. Our Jeep is HIGHLY modified with everything know to mankind and there are still obstacles and trails that we don't go near. The trails are open until midnight on the weekends and add a new element of fun to the trip.

We also have camped there on three different occasions and have had the best time. There are 3 different camping ares with primitive, improved (power and water) and RV camping. They also have cabins for rent. The improved and RV camping area has a very nice restroom and showering area. There is even free WiFi.

This Park is for outdoor adventure enthusiasts! Please do your homework by checking out their great website BEFORE you go and I also recommend looking for YouTube videos. I also recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The folks at the front entrance are very helpful but if you break out there on the trails you are on your own. (Last trip our group helped winch a silly truck up the side of an obstacle after he broke his drive shaft).

My family and friends have been coming to the park since 2010. Because of scheduling we get to Hidden Falls 5-6 times a year. The park has done a great job of keeping up with the times and seem to make improvements all the time. We have taken many friends that have never been off-roading to groups that are ready to ride the roughest there is. Bath houses are clean, Bunk Houses are nice (but bring twin size air mattresses). We have stayed in all 3 RV sites (electric only and A & Zips Corner full hookups), we have also tent camped and always been happy. Hidden Falls is a family oriented park, with night riding shutting down at Midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. If you like a wild night of partying and riding, this is not a park for you. The staff for the most part has always been helpful and friendly, (Everyone has a bad day from time to time), We had some booking issues around a major holiday and they helped us out and made sure we had a place to camp. We will continue to ride Hidden Falls as much as we can.

A great place for off roaders as there is miles of trails. Fun for primitive camping as you can meander around at your own pace. Rv spaces as well.

By Rod E |

It was my first time off-roading in my Jeep. Their trails are rated levels 1-5. I stuck to 3 and below. There were plenty of trails I looked at and said 'no way', so I'd expect a more experienced/better equipped person would be able to find some challenges.
My Jeep - Sport, 3 inch lift, 35s (aired down to 18 PSI), Disconnected swaybar, NO lockers, no winch. Had no trouble getting anywhere I was brave (wise) enough to go.
People there were very courteous and the gentleman at the front was extremely helpful and took the time to point out on the map the places I should check out based on my Jeep and experience level.

My husband got a new Ford Ranger Raptor and we visited on Monday to try out the 4 wheel drive capabilities. Check-in was easy. There were few people in the park on a Monday morning.

Because we were inexperienced, the staff recommended we stick to the park roads, so we did not get off on the trails this visit. Park Roads 1,2,3, and 4 were tame enough to keep us out of trouble, yet allowed my husband to get a feel for how the truck handled on rocks, inclines, etc. We spent about 3 hours driving and 4 hours total in the park.

There were flush toilets and stations to air up tires at Area B. I recommend you download the Avenza app and the electronic park maps (more info on Hidden Falls’ website). They will help keep you on the road or trail you intend to be on.

My husband loved it and we intend to return!

So I have never considered myself to be an Xtreme sportster but the trails at HF can be exactly that!!! New to wheeling but not new to 4wd. Living in the Houston area, mud trails are plentiful and this was my first wheeling experience and loved it. I didn't camp there but I am part of a Jeep group that was camping and wanted to stay a bit in the evening to have dinner and hang out. Plus, I was deer hunting at another location morning and evening. The reason I am saying this is that I didn't have all day to wheel on either Friday or Saturday. The park employee at the check in station was really understanding and worked with me on a fair(cheaper) price since I technically only had a few hours to enjoy the trails. I had also forgot my air compressor in my pickup and wouldn't you know it? They have a free air station with several air lines to bring you back up to pressure. I also found out that they rent dirt bikes and four wheelers. Not to mention the trails that can raise your "pucker factor" real quick. Enjoyed my time there and want to take the kids back with me.

By ViolinGirl3 |

My husband and son took their trail bikes here and rode for the day on the north loop as well as some ATV trails (North Pole Road). We have ridden in Colorado for years and they said this was every bit as challenging as anything we have done there. Lots of big rock shelves and steps to navigate. It’s an enormous park, definitely need multiple days to explore. Friendly attendants at the gate, highly recommend if you enjoy trail riding!

By Sheila B |

Was there for Wheelers for the Wounded benefit. They could do with some more cabins, plenty of space for primitive camping, showers on property. Trails are great no matter what level of off roading you do.

By Mark G |

I have ridden at several private riding utv/atv parks and this one is the best so far. The trails are well marked. You can tell that the staff and management is conscientious given the rules applied and communicated. There are three sets of specific trails, 1 - motorcycle specific, 2- utv/atv & 3 - ovh/full sized jeep trails. There is plenty of riding for a full weekend without seeing the same area twice. Great place and we will be back again.

By giacdaddy |

My son and I tried for weeks to contact Hidden Falls to rent ATVs. Multiple emails and multiple messages left (because no one ever answers the phone) trying to reserve a tour and a pair of ATVs. No response ever. We decided to try so we drove to see if they had anything, but again no luck!

If you list an email address and a phone number it sure would be nice for you to respond. Sheesh!

We spent an entire day here with the family and our Jeep club. We are super beginners in off roading. The trails really aren't for beginners, but provided you have the right equipment and a knowledgeable group, you'll be fine. The paths are not marked very well and I can see how someone could get lost, but the trails were a BLAST!!! We were visited by guides a couple of times and they gave us directions and checked up on us...pretty cool. We did about 4-5 hours on the trails.

We camped at the Area B (primitive camping). The grounds were clean, people were cool, plenty of room, very clean bathing areas, hot water at bathrooms. We had the kids with us and they enjoyed the trails and the facilities.

We can't describe how much fun we had breaking our Jeep in! We will definitely be returning with our club. I would not recommend the trails for people who are brand new to off roading and aren't with a group.

A disappointing experience to say the least. Have been coming here for >5 years and each time they make up a new “rule” to suck more money out of their customers. This Friday we got to the gate at 7:05 PM and were told zero entry at this time even though we had booked and paid for 2 campsites for Fri/Sat and 1 cabin. At 7:08 the office help exited out the gate we were stranded at and we were told to come back tomorrow. I have always arrived after 7pm and up until approximately a month ago you did not have to arrange a late entry unless you came after 9pm (even their vehicle placard still says 9pm) . Asked to park outside the park and get friends in park to come get us at gate and was told they would call the cops. Guessing the other 15 people in line behind me were also not aware of the new rule. Previous trip in August we were told we would have to pay for trails Sunday even if we were leaving early AM. Previous time before that we were told we would need to purchase 2 primitive camp spots for a couple even though we were staying in the same tent and paid for 2 vehicles to wheel. Not sure what has changed but this used to be a great destination for a mini wheeling trip. Now it’s a >$500 weekend for 2. Free advice, stay at the cabins next door by the river for half the price, half the hassle and twice less stress. The entry times change each year so be sure and check the website ( it isn’t immediately highlighted when you enter their page it is about 3 clicks in) every 2 months or whenever they need a price increase. You rob them of the extra $25 late fee if they let you in after 7PM on Fridays. The gate guard was never rude and was just helpless due to management policy. The following parks are a better option in the order of experience: 1. Barnwell Mountain (management changed 5 years ago to an actual off road enthusiast with a great spirit), Wolf’s Cave ( the nicest couple you’ll meet) SMORR Missouri (similar entry restrictions but later arrival and they let you camp at the gate without calling the sheriff) Hot Springs great (spot and office help)

The trails are great. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Problem is they are not wheelchair/disabled friendly. My husband is a paraplegic and 4wheeling is his way to get outdoors, when our son in law came to ride with him (safety purposes)) and my daughter picked me up to head to Fredericksburg, they charged us an additional $40+ day use fee. I had already paid $200+ for 2 days camping and trail riding. Quite a rip off since we had already paid and he needs a rider and he took my place as his safety rider 😕

By rat1009 |

You really can't be an Austin liberal and expect someone to hold your hand here. Rent a machine and go!!! Took my two young daughters there today. None of us have much atv experience, but we managed to have a great time anyway. We did not get lost, much. Part of the fun! Just turn around! Will come back for sure. Expensive? Yeah, but worth it.

By Doug E |

This place is amazing and the best ATV rental place I have been to in my travels across the country. Definitely get your money's worth. Friendly, helpful staff and amazing place to ride. Great machines!

Overall we had a blast at this place. Spent two days and two nights on sight. Finding our campsite initially was a bit frustrating, but the site itself was perfect. We had a wrangler and a F-150. Trails are well marked, and appropriately rated.

My son decided to bomb through a mud pit late the first day. It made for a great video and I figured it would be a good lesson for him as he would have to clean up the mess later on. Turned out to be a much bigger lesson than anticipated. He somehow fried his alternator, and the truck also began overheating.

The mud seems to have a high lime content and dries like cement. The overheating was caused by a completely clogged radiator. It took washing it out three separate times to get all the gunk out. Driver beware. I saw three separate vehicles towed out that weekend, all of which were caked in the same mud that shut us down.

The wrangler preformed very well

Thanks Brett for a great trail riding park. I really appreciate the cleanliness and family atmosphere. Trails are being maintained and managed well after your eight years of operating. My young boys and I had no trouble following the well marked trails and riding within our ATV experience limits and enjoyed watching the serious 4X4's on the higher level trails. My youngest enjoyed renting the new ACE at the park and now wants one. Thanks for a great weekend riding experience and the good TEXAS friendly hospitality.

By krigold |

OMG what a blast we had with the son and grandsons in our Jeep Wranglers. Even when we slid off into a gully and had to be pulled out. Thank goodness for the ATVers who had a tow rope with them (lesson learned - always carry one). We even had a rainstorm that provided for some slipping and sliding.

This is a MUST DO if you have a 4 wheeler in Texas.

By lalamoose64 |

Welcoming 4x4 adventure park and skeet shooting range and more! We went to practice our Bronco off-road course in Horseshoe bay. Our first time there. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. So many ways to navigate in the park, apps, and maps. Pay attention to your route so you don't bite off more than you can chew!

By Chris D |

Had a blast, trails for all skill levels. Would love to spend more than a day to explore the entire park, do some camping and enjoy what Marble falls has to offer. Wouldn't hesitate recommending Hidden Falls to anyone that was visiting the area and wanted to get some dirt on their tires.

Found this place and could not have been more pleased. Had my 3 kids out for the afternoon and cannot get them to stop talking about it. We will be back, again and again....and bringing friends next time. Our guide was fantastic as well.

This is the best place on Earth. Tons of trails and riding. I never leave reviews, but I am reading through the negative reviews, and I am absolutely amazed. They have comments like: Staff was rude, nobody came and found me, we almost died, park was at capacity, etc. User error in ALL cases. You are supposed to limit your interaction with staff to the 10 second entry visit, and maybe to buy a T-Shirt. The rest should be free range open riding. Get lost - that's the point, but call ahead if you are going to travel. The only negative thing I could MAYBE say is that we were loading up and I asked my 12 year old daughter to ride over to the dumpster to throw out the trash. I had already packed the helmets, and I could literally see her the entire 200 yard trek (and she is a very experienced). Park Ranger stopped her and told her to walk back to the RV to get a helmet (I had to chuckle because I told her not to worry about it). However, how do you get upset on a zero tolerance helmet policy. It was 20 minutes before the park closed and there were a total of 10 people in the entire area. We have been twice and will be going as many times as my wife lets me.

By Lori G |

We love to stay overnight in the RV over the Thanksgiving period. We take a crockpot and make Thanksgiving Dinner in it while out playing on the trails. We get a little braver each time we go four wheeling out there and try yet another harder trail. Love it, however, a few people DONT read the rules about one way trails and we have been confronted with a head on almost wreck. My son got his Razor stuck in a pond and a very nice couple puled him out. The people that run the park are very nice and treat everyone with respect. They have a store with all of your needs for riding safely. There is a mechanic on duty. The cabins are nice and the RV spots are just fine. You wont be disappointed.

By melaniecA8907OE |

We absolutely love coming here! We take our razor and four wheelers and can ride for days. They have a variety of difficulty of trails. So if you want leisurely ride or if you want to really get on it, this place is the place to be. A lot of jeep clubs come out which is fun to watch. Everyone here is nice and respectful. We love bringing our kids here or just come on by ourselves. We bring the RV and stay the night. It’s a definite must do on your list. And we even bring the dogs as well.

We were there for a shooting competition, they have a beautiful range. We had our Jeep and enjoyed getting to and from the shooting facilities. Looks like a fun place to ride a ATV or 4X4 we will return. The staff keeps the place very clean.

ATV and dirt bikes on a mountain trails. My kids had fun driving terrain. We don't have this type of terrain in Florida. Service was good. Rental reasonable. Place is fun if you know what you doing.

By Q Q |

Had a lot of fun riding the ATV trails. It was my first time riding ATVs and had some more experienced riders stop and give me tips.

By Kelly S |

Pros: Beautiful terrain, great facilities, helpful staff. Trails are rated 1 to 5. I have a Rubicon LJ with a 4" lift, 33" tires and lockers. The 1s and 2s were easy (though the 1s are definitely above just a graded dirt road). The 3s were surprisingly challenging in spots. Good diversity of trails, challenges, views. Several creeks cross the property which are fun to cross. Have air compressors and gift shop onsite. Snack shed midway on property. Very uncrowded. Other guests were very friendly and helpful. Trails were decently marked (though not perfect).

Cons: The degree of difficulty between 2 and 3 jumps significantly. There were some 3s that we couldn't even begin to tackle (and this ain't my first rodeo). I'm talking 1.5'-2' ledges you'd have to crawl up (which was pretty much impossible given the rain on the day we were there, but even without the rain clearance would have been an issue). Compared with other offroad parks I've been to - their scale tends to under-rate the degree of difficulty. Their 3 is a 4 elsewhere. The 4s and 5s are pretty insane - only for dedicated crawlers or rigs that have serious modifications/high lifts. Wish their 3s were more comparable to other offroad parks and wish they had more of them. TRO (one of their signature trails) was a 1-2 for the first 50%, a 4 at the creek crossing, and then goes ballistic to 5 at the end. We had to turn around.

By Grace4l |

We just spent 8 hours riding and riding and riding. Very impressed with the map and how well the trails are marked. We have a side-by-side and it didn't get scratched up since the trails were clean of low and close limbs. Very clean and family friendly park. Lots of fun and beautiful views. Certainly worth the 6 hour trip.

This was our first time to go to an off-road vehicle park with our new Jeep. The trails were rated 1-5 with 5 being the most difficult. The park had hills, rocky passages, great views and scenery. We had a blast driving in the park. The trails were clearly marked to distinguish the direction to go. We would like to recommend this park for a fun off-road adventure.

Other than some trail marks needed to be updated(turn here for X trail) the place is awesome

depending on your skill, you might want to stick to level 1 and 2, maybe 3 trails if you are starter. If you are experienced, carrying a ton of aftermarket parts on your 4 wheel toy, it should not be a problem what trails you choose.

It helps if you stick to a group of experienced people, just ask anyone, most of the people is friendly enough to either point you in the right direction, or even guide you.

The staff is very friendly and willing to explain any detail, or question you may have.
Bathrooms are very clean, did not stay overnight but there is camping spots everywhere.

Horseshoe bay is about 10 miles away, an awesome resort town. that's 2 for 1 if you are road tripping over there.

Super high octane FUN! Even the broken parts on my Jeep didn't stop us from finishing the day. Will be back ASAP.

Really enjoyed this place. We were visiting from Oklahoma, local San Antonio Jeep Club gathered a group together to come with us. Fabulous views. Loved the restroom availability and door parking (We off-road at the base of the Grand Lake Dam in Oklahoma.. no facilities.) It REALLY would have been nice had the gift shop stayed open until the gates closed. We were looking forward to stopping in for a few souvenirs before leaving. We got back to air up about 10-12 minutes before the gates closed and I thought maybe I could pop in and grab some tshirts to remember our trip.. no such luck.

I did like that they offer maps of the trails. Many trails have a bypass if things get a little hairy.

We had a great time. Lots of trails to ride. The hills were awesome. Very nice people that run this. Small store for gifts and snacks.

When we checked in they gave us a map of the area and traced out a route to follow. We followed the recommended route they gave me and it was very easy using my Land Rover. Not worth the price.

We recently stayed at Hidden Falls Adventure Park for a weekend with friends, booking three campsites. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the incredibly rude and unreasonable staff.

On Saturday night, my son drove an hour and a half after work to join us, only to be denied entry because he gave the wrong name when asked who booked our site. Instead of working with us to resolve the misunderstanding, the staff threatened to call the sheriff and accuse him of trespassing.

When my husband and I went to the gate to clear things up, we were met with the same hostile attitude by a woman who we believe was drunk! When she called her "backup" we were told we could pack up and leave, and again, that the sheriff would be called for trespassing. Rather than being helpful or understanding, they stuck to their rigid “rules” without any willingness to listen.

As if that wasn’t enough, after this incident, a park ranger targeted our campsite, telling us we couldn't use our propane fire pit—despite their own website stating fires are allowed.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had while camping. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to work with us. We will never return, and we do not recommend this park to anyone.

Will go back during a wet season, hot, dry & dusty (out of Hidden Falls control) no water or falls anywhere. Gorgeous views, tons of trails - we didn't cover half of park in 2 days, many levels of difficulty, all trails are very well marked. Don't hesitate to bring kids, we went on holiday wkend & it was very calm and no wild parties or craziness anywhere. Other riders we passed were always polite. Will definitely go back.

We've been to Hidden Falls several times and always have a good time. Our primary use is the full size vehicle 4x4 trails with our two Jeep Wranglers, and the camping grounds at Area B.

The trails are rated against each other basically. Stock vehicles shouldn't venture past the 3's unless you are okay with some rock rash. The terrain is mostly rocky/dirt trails with a couple of water creeks to drive down. Lot's of hill climbs. Even slightly modified vehicles can do most of the trails, so a lift and some tires can greatly improve your fun. We did run across several dirtbikes and ATV's on trails they weren't supposed to be on, and you should be on the lookout for them on the park road trail. They tend to be fast, small, and hard to see with a propensity to cut you off.

The camping area is nice with plenty of trees to situate yourself around/under. There are porta pottys and a bathroom in one of the buildings there. The RV area (Area A) has nice bathrooms.

There is also a convenience air station at the entrance so you can air back up for the drive home.

Overall it is a great affordable place to go wheeling.

Took our 13 and 15 year olds for a 4 hour tour. We rented from Hill Country Adventures onsite. There was some good straight always mixed with some good technical ATV terrain. The water crossing was the hit with our group. We brought our lunch and ate it at a great spot under the trees. We especially liked the clean bathroom at the welcome center (spoken like a mother)... We are thinking of coming again for my sons 16 year birthday.

My dad (73) and I along with my son (8) and nephew (10) went to Hidden Falls Adventure Park. This was our second time to go and explored a different part of the park. We somehow missed the sign for Hog Alley and ended up on difficult trails that would always make us turn around. At one point we were climbing some stair step ledges and almost made it up. My dad decided to try the last ledge and his ATV fell back on him. He was hurt but was able to keep going. We had already been exploring the area for a couple of hours before the accident trying to get out. After the accident I called the park looking for some help. They gave me some advice on 2 trails to get back on but both were tough. I was in a place of the park that you could only get out by riding up on tough ledges or through the rocky jagged creek. ( Bronco Buster ). We tried the ledges first but found it was too steep. We then started through the Bronco Buster. It was getting late and I was concerned for my dad. As we just got started a gentleman named Brian found us and helped us back to camp. He was awesome. He helped us through the tough parts of the trail. He worked hard to help all four of us get through this difficult trail. His attitude was so much better than I would have expected and he took care of my dad once we got out. He transported him to the front so EMT's could look at him. He ended up having four fractured ribs. Brian saved us from a lot of aggravation that we caused ourselves missing a well marked trail. I must have been distracted by the kids. We would not have made it back by dark without him. We cannot thank Brian enough for helping like he did. I have been there twice and found the people that work there and ride there are for the most part very friendly people. We will be back soon.

My husband, sons & brother-in-law went. They had a super time. More trails than you can ever get to. Little pricy. Trails aren't well marked - they need to mark them better. You can get lost very easily due to the acres and acres of trails.

If you are anywhere in the area, this is a must do. John was our guide and it was an absolute BLAST. We got up to speeds in some areas of 40+ mph and with our guide's help, were able to traverse around the park effortlessly to see some amazing views of the Texas Hill Country. You will get very dusty and VERY wet. Bring an extra set of clothes to change in to when done and I would not recommend wearing anything "nice" during the ride. It was also a remarkably smooth ride. Our kids are 17 and 12 and were able to enjoy because they were tall enough to see around the seats. It is not recommend for those under 5' and I can see why. There is a tendency for motion sickness because they can't see over or around the front seat. I can't wait to go back!

We made our reservation in February because we were told that this place books up quickly for full RV hookups.
Also limited Reservations are available.
Still with a reservation it was first come first served on site #.
We were able to pick our area when we made the reservation, just not a specific site.
We were in site 18. It was shaded buy 2 trees. We have a 37’ bumper pull Toy Hauler with an additional 8 ft fenced patio.
This site was able to accommodate it all and the truck!
There was a nice rock fire pit and wooden picnic table. 30/50 amp power supply, water and waste hook up.
Though you could hear the gun range pop pop pops close by while you were outside, we did not hear it inside.
Very nice public bathrooms and showers. Clean clean clean is like music to a girls ears! We like clean!!!!!
Nice general store on premises. It is just getting started, so I expect the next time we visit it will be in full swing! It was nice talking to Brett!
He is VERY knowledgeable about the park and each trail.
If you want to know anything, ask Brett!!!! He has been at the Park for a long time and we found him to be very genuine.
He was nice enough to show us a few pictures of the park in aerial view and what it looks like when it’s busting at the seams with visitors, campers, RV’ers and riders.
They have ICE!!! Hot temps require lots of ice to cool down your beverages!!
NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED STRICT POLICY
(Noted and posted throughout the park!
We had a nice chat with Doug.
He was responsible for maintaining area A where we stayed in site 18.
It was very clean.
We watched him doing his thing daily.
Tending to the needs of the area.
Doug was also very informative about the Park.
He also checked around the camp area multiple times a day as well as chatting with folks he met!
He’s so friendly. I don’t think he knows any strangers.
He’s very outgoing. Great choice for hiring him. He’s an asset to the team!
As for the riding trails, THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!
Day and night driving!!!
Loved the night driving with cooler temperatures.
Less traffic on the trails and you get to see all of the customization of each ride at night. All the colorful lights.
Reaching the summit near the radio tower was fantastic! Great view!!!! Day or night!
Not as much mud as we would have liked, but the trails made up what was missing lacking in mud!
You’ve got to go and have lunch at the “American Girls Grill”food cart.
Great lunch. Great prices and nice shaded pavilion with table to enjoy your lunch.
They also have new cabins! Not sure if they are available online yet.
Plenty of overflow parking
All riding trails are visibly marked by name as well as difficulty level. One way and 2 way traffics signs clearly visible. Dangerous areas and damaged areas clearly marked.
Overall really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hidden Falls Adventure Park!
Great place to celebrate my husbands birthday!!

Me and my husband decided to drive from Houston to check this park out for the weekend. It is clean and nice and a good selection of trails to ride on. Some of the trails can be a little challenging but its nice to have a challenge and something different then the swamps and flat land that Houston has. If you like to see hills and nature this is a good park to go to and ride at.

Me and a few friends went out and rented ATV's. They gave us nice ATVs and a map and turned us loose. Be sure and bring a camera if you are looking for great hill country views.

By SparkyTheIceburg |

This is a great area to go ride on some ATV’s. It is very large with a lot of trails. My parents, girlfriend and I went there and rented the ATV’s for 2 hours. I would first like to say that 2 hours was not nearly enough for us and we would love to go back, but for the first time 4 hours may have been too much since they only rent in 2 hour increments.

As for the rentals, I am only 20 y.o. I called 2 days prior and gave them my Credit Card number and reserved 2 ATV’s. One for my dad and mom and then one for my girlfriend and I. When we arrived we learned that there is a limit of 1 person per ATV so we had to rent 2 additional ATV’s. This did cost us an unexpected $180 dollars, but we did not have a choice because the other options were to have 2 people wait for 2 hours or to leave and pay $180 for cancelling within the 48-hour window. This is not stated on the site or anywhere on trip advisor. I would like to clarify it is one person per ATV.

The gentlemen who helped us, Lance, was great. He gave us a quick walkthrough of how to operate the ATV and the best trails to go down since we are beginners. Shortly after starting though my ATV had an incident where it started to leak a considerable amount of fuel out the bottom and then it turned off and would not turn back on. My family went back to get help and I had to wait with the ATV. After maybe 30 minutes they returned and Lance let me use the ATV he rode up and called for a truck to pick up the broken one. This did take out of our time, some of which was given back to us at the end as we got lost and were not charged extra.

Overall this is a great place to ride and to see if you enjoy it. There are some nice trails but some of it is quite rocky and bumpy so if you have a bad back or neck then it might not be the best. Also, it is quite pricey. After admission was paid it was just under $450 for 4 people. We are looking to do it again though.

I looked at the website and it said no reservations for tent camping and riding And it said we are fully open again after Corona 19 So I spent a couple days packing and me and my grandson six years old headed out from Houston drove over 200 miles my grandson was very excited when we got to the window they said they were full I said you’re full your website says no reservation and you’re back in business hey said sorry I said I just drove almost 6 hours with my six-year-old grandson you can’t let us come in and tent camp for the night they said we’ve let enough in So I took my grandson‘s hand it was very upset and we walked away we got back in my jeep with my trailer pulling our motorcycles and drove back to our favorite place near Houston I will never go back there they were very rude it look like Disneyland anyways when I got there to heck with it I’ll stay in your home and have a good time I do not recommend spending your time or efforts headed to this destination

My son heard about this place and we decided to try it. I had no idea how much the rentals were and they really looked like they were in rough shape. The rentals are different from the park. I did not find anyone from the rental company there. There were people coming in for the weekend who were very excited so it sounds like a great park. They were doing stuff for wounded warriors this weekend so I give them kudos for that but was very disappointed in the rental conditions and the high price of the rentals. Unless you have your own ATVs I would suggest skipping this adventure.

The map is a bit hard to read and not accurate. Some of the obstacles might be a bit overwhelming for newbies. I wish the signage on the property marking the trails was more clearly labeled. Other than that, the trails were fun and kept our group entertained for a day.

We always have fun! Buy a pass and you can go during the week when the park is very quiet. You will almost have the place to yourself.

This is an outdoor park with trails for dirtbikes, 4X4's, ATV's, etc. This was our first time and we took our Jeep to check out the trails. It was amazing and so much fun. The place is huge, so it took us two days to hit several trails and there are many more when we go back! There is also a place right on the property where you can rent ATV's, but I don't know the cost. The service is friendly, a map is provided, there is a store, a pavilion, a grill type restaurant and bathrooms. Camping is available with campsites, and there are also bunkhouses you can reserve. This is out in the country though so you will be on trails away from civilization (town is only about 7 miles away though). Bring snacks and drinks. The trails are pretty well marked, and there are levels from 1 to 5. It took us a little bit to get oriented, but after that we were off and running. We met other Jeep enthusiasts on the trail and they were helpful when we had questions. So much fun, I definitely recommend!

Great trail riding. Not use to paying to go wheelin since I'm from Arizona. The entire experience was pretty cool. The greeter, was awesome, gave me a 5 minute tutorial on what to expect. He wanted to make sure that I took a look at the range (really nice gun range too). Sent me up to the store to meet with the team and they gave me a great map of option that I could do solo. They have 1-5 rating and the only reason I didn't do the more challenging trails was because I was solo. Overall great adventure in Texas - would do it again.

**Plus I got another Jeep Badge

Backstory on my adventure. My boyfriend, is an avid off roader. He was an excellent and patient teacher. My ATV experience was zip. I've never ridden one, never been around them. He spent a couple hours with me in a field near his home before we decided to go on this trip over a three day weekend. Now, granted he is former military, a DOD Fireman for 3 years and an active municipal fireman for 13 years as well as an active 14 year state EMT so I felt like I was in good hands. He has two ATV's so we did not rent the ones the park has to offer. I do not proclaim how to read a map, however he has experience navigating with various terrain in regards to topographic maps.

When we arrived at the park I spent a total of about 3 more hours ridding on some of the easy trails, yes even the kiddie trails lol. It was scary and stressful for me at first but he was relentless in making me repeatedly negotiate them over and over. After learning to read and preplan known terrain I was able to comfortably ride ALL of the beginner trails and navigate a few of the more challenging trails and having an absolute blast! Everyone we ran into was polite and very helpful.

We are both from Texas, born and raised and enjoy camping. We are a different breed but genuine good hearted people.

Now, I rarely write reviews because I simply don't have much time but when I saw the terrible review that 9 people found helpful I HAD to jump in and write one about my FIRST time experience in addition to respond to the ONLY (one) terrible rating.

If you have never been to a 3,000 acre park that accommodates Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, 4x4 vehicles and rock crawlers, you may want to add someone to your group who has ridden an ATV and is willing to give lessons, navigate the park and understands what trails a beginner can navigate on an ATV.

There are quite a few things I personally would not have done when looking at making a trip like this. First, if you have not been on trails similar to the park you are going to, you may want to consider choosing a different park. Second, if you have not ridden an ATV, as stated above, go through a safety course, which I did online, and ride a few ATV's at your local dealer, make a call to the rental company and see if they have one like you tried out so you are somewhat familiar on the bike. Third, learn how to read a map, buy a hand held gps, stay close to camp or find someone who can read a map or knows the trails to go with you (good ole buddy system). Lastly, research and watch videos via the internet and learn about the area the park you want to ride in. Reading the reviews will help when you call the park prior to your visit to questions you may have. Just showing up to any ATV park renting an ATV and riding for the first time at a whim may not be the best idea.

Overall I personally had a wonderful time and we plan to go more often in the Fall.

My sons and their wives accompanied my wife and I to Hidden Falls. We all have Jeeps in various stages of modification. My son had heard about the park and we had always wanted to go off roading together but never had the chance. One of my son's had a Jeep but had never been off roading with it, so my other son ran point and I was tailgunner with newbie son in the middle. He was able to negotiate anything we did with us guiding him through. Sorry guys but if you are dumb enough to try something like this without an experienced friend accompanying you, you deserve every bit of disappointment that you got.

The trails are indeed well marked, by name and difficulty. In fact we felt like they were a little on the easy side, and I appreciated that so that a novice couldn't get in over their head too easily.

We will be back, and plan on staying longer. The views are great, the facilities are more than adequate. All in all a great time!

We rented the ATV’s 450
They were new and in perfect condition. The trails here are about endless with LOTS of varying terrain- you could spend a lot of time here and not see all of it.
This is a great place
Loved it
