Hollywood beach is one of our favorites when visiting Florida. I can recommend Boucher Brothers for beach rentals (chairs, cabanas, etc.) We used their spot near Taft Street. Easy transaction and nice that they take credit cards. Ben & Dom were friendly and helpful with getting us set up for the day.

At least a few times a week I ride my bike on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. It actually isn’t a Boardwalk in the real sense but is a concrete path for bicycle riders, runners and walkers. It is parallel to the beautiful Hollywood beach.
There are restaurants everywhere of all types of food and refreshments. There are bars , live music and planned events.
There are hotels like Margaritaville, apartments for vacation or seasonal rentals, barbecue areas, stores and beach parks right on or across from the Boardwalk with a few feet from the beach and ocean
It is a great place to visit and used daily by local residents, vacationers and beach and ocean lovers👌 If you are in South Florida check it out and enjoy the weather.

Walk, Run, Bike or just Chill out! You will find plenty to do at Hollywood Beach's boardwalk. Friendly people & Great restaurants are everywhere! A must to add to your "To-Do" list! GetSome!!

So many people walking, biking, rollerblading, babies in strollers separated by fast/bike lane and walker lane. So good

Walk, bike, shop, people watch, lots of food options! Definitely eat at the Taco Shop. Pass up La Brocetterie as it is over priced and low quality. Definitely better than Fort Lauderdale Beach.

This was one of our most enjoyable beach outings. The terrific Boardwalk is very nice, with a few public restrooms, bike rentals, and quite a few restaurants and clothing/souvenir shops. Off-season hotel rentals are moderately priced and you’re generally a block or less from the beautiful and well maintained beach. In fact, no dogs please. Yes, the bikini babes are aplenty, but the lovely families with kids are a joy as well. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, this is a terrific beach. Thank you Hollywood, Florida!

Start by finding a parking spot. We parked in a parking garage off Johnson Street. Only debit or credit card payment accepted for parking. The beach has a number of restaurants along the boardwalk. The boardwalk has a lane for bicycles so need to watch out for riders. The beach sand was nice and the water that pretty blue color. We were there on a chilly day so certainly not as busy as it would be on a hot day-yet there were still plenty of people around even some in the water and laying in the sun. I noticed a life guard stand but cannot recall seeing a life guard. Police around on the beach. We will come back another time when it’s warmer.

Very nice path to walk down and I especially like Dania Beach :) I used to live down there and I'm actually going there next week as a short vacation, and we are staying on the boardwalk. Dania beach is by far my favorite beach because you don't have to walk a mile in the sand to get there like many places in Fort Lauderdale.

We stayed a week just a block in from the broadwalk. There are definitely interesting people, to put it nicely. It was also very busy, especially on the weekends. It did not seem appropriate given the pandemic on the weekend. Just so many people and very little mask wearing, presumably because of being outside. Shops sell the same old tourist crap and restaurants were ok. It is nice to eat practically right on the beach. So a little trashy but entertaining.

Lots to see and do here. People walk up and down the broadwalk for exercise and to sightsee. Restaurants and coffee shops and ice cream parlors line the broadwalk. Free concerts in the evening at the bandshell. A police presence keeps the area safe. Parking can be a problem. My wife and I came here occasionally, all the way from Boca Raton.

It is one of the best beaches of miami, its white sand and boulevard give very good atmosphere, less crowded than the beaches of miami beach, you can find parking at 4usd from Monday to Wednesday and the other days at 5usd an hour.

2.5 mile. Wonderful Broadwalk . . Not Boardwalk! :) great restaurants . . Live music from beach front bars . . Great vibe!

A nice, wide sidewalk with a dedicated bike lane. Pay attention to where you walk as the bikers will ring their bell and holler “bike lane!” just before they run you over if you are walking in their path. Lots of restaurants, typical t-shirt shops, bars, and hotel/VRBO condo type places. We were there Dec 31 - Jan 3 and while it was crowded, it wasn’t overly so. We walked the path each day and tried out different eateries. Our hotel (the Marriott) offered free beach chairs so that is where we enjoyed the beach although you could have stepped just off the sidewalk and enjoyed the beach anywhere along the path. If I had to list a complaint, it would just be that the entire path didn’t have its lamps on at night (some sections did, some didn’t) which made for some pretty dark sections of our walk each night. That said, I never felt unsafe. I would consider coming back to Hollywood Beach on a future vacation and would not hesitate to stay at the same place and walk the Broadwalk again.

Lots of people like the Hollywood boardwalk but I find the Ft. Lauderdale boardwalk better for people watching and has lots more bars and restaurants.

This is a great place to go for 3-4 days. Don't need car. Great places to eat that are all walking distance

Lots of fun with live music at the band shell and lots of people enjoying it even though it was windy and cold

I've heard this used to be a nice place and beach, but now it's rather overcrowded and not particularly clean, including the beach. Certainly the boardwalk proximity to the beach is nice and plenty of eat, drink, shop and rental activity options. 3- stars for just being on the ocean, but if you go hear once that will probably suffice your craving for an interesting beachside experience. In my opinion not particularly recommended with smaller/younger children.

The Hollywood Boardwalk is really a 2 1/2 concrete walkway, not a real old time boardwalk like you still fine in some beach towns. There are plenty of places to eat, but not many shops. Great for some good people watching. Watch out for the bike path that is a designated path on the boardwalk closest to the water. Bikers ride along and you need to be careful not to get in their way.

What a beautiful boardwalk along the Atlantic! It had a bike lane alongside the walkway causing me to with I had my bike on this trip.

There’s something for everyone. Walk and enjoy the shops and restaurants along with the gorgeous views. Perfection ❤️

This is our first time in Hollywood Florida. Over all we had a great time. It is a little sketchy in town but if you are by the water I felt completely safe. Not sure why people kept saying they felt so unsafe on the broad-walk. We parked at Margaritaville every day and it is highly patrolled with police officers. We did stay in this area though every day because it was very clean lots of restaurants and bars. Over all I would come back again as long as we stay by the water! Also we never really came at night so maybe that is when they felt “unsafe” we did travel with our baby and it was very quite and calm for him

Spent the day with 4 other gals on the beach/boardwalk. What an awesome experience for all of us. Extra wide walk with plenty to do, sightseeing and shopping for touristy stuff is plentiful. So many dining choices, unfortunately we picked a dud! The day was so fun, even weird pizza didn't change it. Rented bikes, played in the water, bought kitchy trinkets. We'll be back!!!!

Broadwalk is BEAUTIFUL!
We used the Boucher Brother chairs and umbrella - the staff were pleasant and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Every time I have walked, jogged or ran it was pleasant and not overcrowded. People keep to themselves and are basically friendly and unobtrusive. Good places to stop and have a beverage or bite to eat.

Took the boardwalk in as a last minute idea just to end our vacation well. I found this boardwalk area very interesting dotted with restaurants, stores, and good spots for family photos.
One tip. Watch that you don’t walk in the bike lane. Some folks get serious attitudes if you are walking in that lane.

Stayed at a VRBO about a half block off Broadwalk. Broadwalk is lined with hotels, apartments, restaurants, and beach shops....oh and 3-4 ice cream places too. Also many places with live music. Bike rentals are here too. Easy place to run or rollerblade....moreso in the morning than evening hours. Evening hours, esp. the weekends, can be VERY busy. Hard to walk thru without keeping your head on a swivel for bikers. There is a bike lane and bikers do tend to stay on it, but when there is so many walkers, you sometimes have to go in their lane. In one week, we put on a lot of miles on this Broadwalk. And Yes....it's pronounced BRoadwalk....not Boardwalk as the title shows. Excellent place to hang out on the beach.

PLEASE if you are going to comment, it is not boardwalk it is Broadwalk. I have not been yet this year, going this summer.

This is a wonderful walking place there is the beach the restaurants shops and bars also entertainment nightly. Stay at one of the places on the strip. We stayed at the Marriott wonderful time.

Beach is wonderful, but the boardwalk is only so-so. Pleasant enough to walk, but also very crowded. Food and drink selection is disappointing.

This is a classic South Florida tradition. What’s better than the beach, a long sidewalk/boardwalk, tons of restaurants and shops? This is a great place to enjoy a day or an evening. On the downside, some of the clientele weren’t the best. Most of the people there were fine and just wanted to have fun, but there were some that made us kind of cautious. It’s still a great place. Hopefully it stays that way.

This walking area is not dog friendly. how can a public walking space not allow dogs? i’ve never heard of anywhere like that. it’s ridiculous. we won’t be back.

The Broadwalk is so colorful and beautiful. It is busy with walkers, bikers, skaters, joggers and lookers. :-)

What a wonderful assortment of people to watch from seniors to toddlers, 2 wheel bikers and in line skaters. It was quite a joy filled day.

A long stone boardwalk that goes on and on. Walking side and bike and rollerblading side. Busy on weekends, but quieter on week days. Runs right along the beach with many restaurants and shops. Restrooms located periodically.

A boardwalk lined with the ocean and sandy beach on one side, and the other home to restaurants, cafes, and shops. Great place for early morning and evening walks by the sea and to hear the sounds of the sea and enjoy its breeze.

I lived in Hollywood for 20 years of my life and due to things in life I had to move but I always come back and it is still the best thing about South Florida, it is the best

The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a special walking area, one of the top places in the US to walk, bike, etc. It goes 1.5 miles in each direction and the north end is extended in a way almost to the Dania Beach fishing pier (recommended). I subtracted a star as the bike share rack from the county was not present anymore so we had to rent bikes. The issue with renting is that the first bike rental place doesn’t open till 9 AM, so you can’t get an early start unless you have your own bikes. And the special biking experience by the ocean is tarnished a bit by homeless folks hanging out near the broadwalk; this seems more prevalent earlier in the morning.

People watching. Good entertainment and food Great variety of foods. Great bars. Clean. I felt safe. Beach very clean People very nice.

We loved the Broadwalk (as the locals call it)! So many options for dining and we loved the tiki bars along the way. Margaritaville for Bloody Marys, Nick's for Margaritas where just two of our favorites.

No others words but it’s amazing and always something going on. Food all over was great. Can’t wait to come back soon……..

Have been coming here for years and am disappointed in the cleanliness of the beach area and Broadwalk. I don’t understand why people visit the beach and then don’t respect the setting. There are plenty of garbage cans and recycling cans, but people just choose to ignore them. Sad.

Nice place to just chill out with a drink and friends. A few nice spots with umbrellas to give shade and get tasty tropical drinks

Visited years ago was disappointed that there wasn’t more variety of restaurants. The reggae band that the Margarita resort put on was amazing.

Great spot to walk-eat-drink-shop! Beautiful ocean front experience to eat an ice cream or have a dinner!

The " boardwalk" is a wide paver walkway for pedestrian and bike traffic. Dog friendly but not on beaches. The area is clean with many workers visible. Several places had live bands to relax and enjoy the music. Bike rentals and Surrey rentals for families. A perfect place for a family afternoon.

the beach boardwalk is amazing, we rented bikes to go through the whole path, very cool and a lot of places to eat, you also can just walk and enjoy the view, at night is also cool.

all kinds of restaurants- friendly wait staff, affordable, clean and excellent food and drink. Better boardwalks than most.

This was recommended by concierge but shouldn’t have been. Very old and run down. Many shops and little dive bars. Also “massage parlors” and hookah bars. Nothing to rave about. Would not want to be there after dark. Only decent place was a chain which I normally avoid, margaritaville. It was nice. Food and drinks were very good.

Very nice lit up at night, but if you come from another country and don’t have eSIM on your phone, your screwed trying to find a taxi or order an Uber at night when you have no internet. Get a virtual sim or something like that so you are not caught out like we was. We had to go to the restaurant and beg to use internet password to order an uber.

This is a typical beach boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. The view of the ocean and beach were great and there was live music at night.

We strolled down the boardwalk, ate in different places along the way, bought souvenirs, and enjoyed the beach and water. Very relaxing three mile long boardwalk!

We stayed close to the boardwalk and spent time here every day. Plenty of restaurant choices for every meal. It was clean and felt very safe. Lots of retired people in February. Fun to walk or sit!

Broad walk smells of urine, There's Parking lot scams run by Metro towing (305) 244-7026. You pay $9.00 to park for two hours only to come back in an hour to find your car booted and having to fork up an additional $68.00. Yes That's $ 77.00 for one hour parking. Better off going to deerfield beach FL cleaner and parking will only cost you $2.00. That's probably why Hollywood beach is so run down.

It gets insanely busy on the weekends! People walking, biking, and roller blading. Lots of restaurants and little souvenir shops. There are cops to make you feel safe. Nicer during the week when it’s less hectic.

Relaxing, Clean, and has multiple restaurants as well as entertainment. I’ve been coming here for years and this is my favorite beach in all of south Florida and you will not be disappointed for family, friends, or a couples.

Many shops on the this broadwalk and restaurants. You can rent all different kind of bikes which looked like a lot of fun! The Hollywood Beach has live music from Wednesday - Sunday which was awesome! Right outside of Margaritaville hotel! They also sell tropical drinks in pineapples or coconuts!

My wife and I took the water taxi from Fort Lauderdale to Hollywood. We loved the walk along the Boardwalk and will come again. Great set up.

Very laid back boardwalk, early morning joggers, walkers and roller bladers. Felt very safe and lots of places to eat and drink with spectacular views. The sea breezes seemed to keep the bugs away which is always a bonus in Florida.

It’s is hard to be critical of a nice long boardwalk in Hollywood Florida. Interesting people watching and ocean viewing are the highlights. It is a plus to the area.

After dinner at the Marriott outside we took a nice walk north along the boardwalk with the full moon and the crashing surf following us the entire way. So relaxing.

Lots of things to do and see. Plenty of shops, eateries, bike rentals, lots of snacks and shops. Steps away from the beautiful ocean and beach.

Great place to walk. Lots of people and people riding bikes etc. so be careful if you inadvertently end up on the bike path!! Many places to eat. Wish the shopping had been better with better quality and more to offer.

This beachside promenade is paved, 2.5 mikes long, so maybe its not a boardwalk. Lots of small hotels and busnesses and your looking at the Atlantic Ocean the length of the promenade. At this time of year the weather is perfect, 7 out of 10 people out walking early morning are Canadian. There are a few young people on skate boards or roller blades. If you see a bike its someone going to work, or if you see a runner he is probably a local.

Looking for an interesting way to spend your day with beautiful beaches and people watching? Look no further.
Shops , food and entertainment.

My husband and I recently spent a few hours on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. The weather was perfect for a long walk and lunch out.

The Hollywood Boardwalk is a fun place to hang out and people-watch, even if you are not going to the beach to sunbathe or swim. There are plenty of places to grab a meal or drinks.

Love the Broadwalk. It's clean, the beach is ample and wide, it's got a variety of restaurants and shops of all price points to choose from.
Love the choices of places to eat....from ice cream parlors and coffee shops to places with white linen tablecloths. There are plenty of benches and places to sit. There are also many public bathrooms along the broadwalk that make it easy. I always see lots of security and people are well mannered and polite. Check it out.
We usually take a ride share to the area since parking can be difficult.

Lots of fun restaurants, ice cream shops & little gift shops. Enjoyed a nice run in the AM and saw lots of people out.

The Boardwalk is beautiful but be aware that dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk. Also be aware that there is metered parking on the street and in the parking garage and you pay 24/7. So if you are renting a place you might want to make sure parking is included. To park for a 24 hour period will cost you $96. We spent more on parking than our Airbnb cost us. 😳.

Great place to walk along the beach. Great Cuban vibe! So many bars/restaurants/etc. a must see when visit Hollywood FL

It is the best place for a walk and brunch, parking is easy to find and many good choices for a nice brunch or lunch safe nice place to spend a pleasant day

This is a great place to take a leisurely stroll or exercise. There are places to park off the cross streets.

Walked this many times on our last trip and just love it! So beautiful, just made me feel so great, I could just walk and walk and walk. Fresh air, sunshine, the beautiful water, wonderful places to eat and drink. Grab a hot coffee in the early morning, or even a Mimosa, and have a delicious breakfast on the Broadwalk, beachfront....what a way to start the day!!

Favorite part would be that the bikes have ample room to ride!! The boardwalk is clean and well lit. Police are very present

A much quieter location than South Beach. People come here with children to enjoy the beach and great restaurants on the boardwalk. One must visit to appreciate and enjoy the sun

Had a blast staying in Hollywood at the Costa Hollywood. Beach was just one min away. The boardwalk was fun- we enjoyed just waking it and rented bikes one morning. I would definitely prefer the FLL airport over Miami!

Lots of places to eat and have drinks.
Boardwalk was also a nice place to just walk up and down when not sitting on the beach.

What used to be a secluded beach while everyone visited Miami or Fort Lauderdale has had a huge transformation. With the new hotels popping up and shopping areas the boardwalk has gotten a lot busier and a lot more expensive. Local parking was very cheap $10 or $15 for parking now became $4/hr. The restaurants have also raised the prices. It’s still a beautiful place to visit just be prepared to pay south beach prices

Very clean! Had a wonderful walk down the broad walk!! Had a lot fun people watching!! Would love to go back soon!!

Very wide with an additional bike lane. Very easy to walk, run, bike. Multiple restrooms along the way, as well as continuous beach access.

It’s a great place to stroll jog and just sit and enjoy the ocean view. No dogs allowed. Public parking available but might be packed on high season.

This was my first time here, and I love this place! Tons of interesting shops, plenty of room to walk / ride bikes, and plenty of beach space. I went during spring break, but even though it was crowded, I still felt like I had room. I’d recommend renting bikes (I rented from sun & fun cycles, went very smoothly), and riding north. The bike path continues after the boardwalk ends, and it’s beautiful!! Plenty of secluded beaches and nice beachfront homes to see. I’d definitely come back here if I get a chance.

The boardwalk was lots of fun but a little noisy after 9 pm. It’s a very touristy spot, so keep that in mind. If you enjoy people watching, it’s perfect!

Enjoy while walking - plenty to try and taste. Be mindful of skateboards and bicycles - do not step into the bike lane.

In Hollywood Beach, they call it a broadwalk and not a boardwalk. I really enjoyed strolling up and down the entire path. It was a beautiful day and great weather. For a Saturday morning, I did not feel it was crowded, but I imagine it gets busy once lunch and dinner hour hit. There are a lot of restaurants along the way and some good deals to be found.

Unsafe place, with a lot of poverty and unruly people. The place lacks quality eatery, the beach is pretty, but too many people that appear to be shady. very unsafe to walk at night. Try Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Del Rey

Enjoy a stroll along the broadwalk where you can enjoy the ocean breezes nestled alongside boutiques and tons of restaurants that serve fresh seafood. We love in Fort Lauderdale. For a special treat visit on Sunday & go to Josh's organic market. You'll find the best produce available in south Florida.

Hollywood beach is full of euro trash and carnival people....It is a slum on a beach...what a rip-off...

People watching and great flat walking or biking experience with beautiful views of the ocean, flanked by palm trees. Cannot grow tired of this view. There are also plenty of eateries and other shops to take care of essentials along the way.

Great place to walk around, decent places to eat and drink. This beach area is much better than South beach very family friendly.

This is our go to place during the winter months, Such a beautiful and enjoyable broadwalk. We really enjoy the smaller less crowded hotels and places to eat. I really enjoy the proximity to the beach and ease of access from my hotel to the sand. I love that you don't have to cross a street to get to the beach. My only complaint is that they do not allow dogs on the broadwalk. Dogs are a big part of people's lives, and it makes it very inconvenient for people traveling with their dogs and for those who live in Hollywood to worry about getting a ticket for even having your dog present. If the dog is causing trouble, the owner should get a ticket, but not allowing them all together seems odd.

Hollywood beach has plently of beach front dining and bars! whatever you’re craving, you’ll find. Walk right across the board walk to the beach. There’s shops along the strip as well!

Many places to eat and shop along the boardwalk. The beach and boardwalk are well maintained. Always a good group of people walking or running on the boardwalk.

The beach in Hollywood is great. The boardwalk goes for miles. The beach is clean, the park service guys are around regularly.

The Hollywood Boardwalk is one the most beautiful boardwalks I’ve been to! It is so beautifully maintained and so close to the ocean! Plan a day and then another!

A nice place to walk. Not a big deal. NOT pet friendly which is a problem for us. If you like to people watch this is a good place.

We only walked 2 miles of the Broadwalk, but it is great. Paving stones make for easier walking for seniors. Separate lane set aside for bikes, so you're not fighting with traffic. It is well maintained and frequent signs remind you not to litter. There are numerous restaurants, shops and ice cream parlors along the way so if you're feeling a bit tired there's lots of places to stop and rest (benches provided). It was decorated for Christmas when we were there - garbage was emptied frequently from the bins provided along the way. All in all kudos to the City of Hollywood Beach for a well maintained and interesting tourist spot.

Visited the boardwalk and got a litte bit disapointed. We visited at nigth thinking we would have nice restaurants. The boardwalk "dies" at nigth. The only think was a MagaritaVille show which was very load for me.. I am sure many of you would enjoy. The beach is dark ( good reason due to the turtles I assume) and only a few bars open. Nothing that I picture as a Boardwalk..

I liked all the types of food available - didn't hate anything I tried. Shopping was good, picked up some items to bring home for presents. Beautiful views and clean.

The boardwalk is a great place to walk, ride a bike, run or roller blade. The area is very clean and safe. Lots of shops and restaurants. The public restrooms are very dirty. Also no soap in the one I used. I would highly recommend going if in the area.

Great way to get a feel of what this community feels like. Take a long walk at any time day or night. My favorite is and early morning walk and stopping any of the many breakfast stops. During the day use the beach and grab lunch and drinks from the vendors on the broadwalk. In the evening there are many ethnic locations for dinner or desert. Enjoy a casual walk on the broadwalk. At any time sit on the wall or the many benches and people watch. Grew up in Hollywood and visited the broadwalk many times, but didn't really understand what a gem it is until I brought my adult kids back to visit.

My husband and I love the Broadwalk in Hollywood, Florida. It is car-free and runs along the pristine white sand beach with the Atlantic Ocean just beyond. There are bicycle and surrey rentals and lots of restaurants. Young and old people of all nationalities stroll and jog on the beautiful Broadwalk. It is a jewel.

We enjoyed walking up and down the Broadwalk, browsing in the shops, stopping for ice cream, and grabbing dinner.

Love the broadwalk and rented a cabana for the day and Shawn was a great help with setting up the cabana for us very nice and did a great job and highly recommend to rent a cabana to really enjoy the beach .

Bikers, walkers, blade skaters, small and huge hotels with lack of bars and restaurants. Sunrise over ocean. Ocean Beach access. Parking garage is $4/ hour. Other parking non-existent.

It’s pretty good that they have the bike lanes so pedestrians and cyclists aren’t weaving around each other. There are drink stations, washrooms, and showers every few hundred feet.

Lots of shops and food places to choose from. Lots of outside dining and people watching. All types of food to choose from as you walk down the Broadwalk. Lots to see and do as music is playing and people are friendly walking around. Clean and always felt safe walking around..

Lots of fun on the broad walk! People watching galore. Plenty of dining and bar options. Bike rentals available. Beautiful beach. Plenty of parking.

Just returned from a week in Hollyweird. Despite it being spring break the kids were well behaved and the weather was excellent. Stayed at The Hollywood Beach Resort. Place was 7 on a scale of 1-10 but you’re only in the room to sleep and relax. I wouldn’t go back there thou. The air fare from Jersey was 137.00 round trip.

Not impressed with this beach. Not super clean and frankly looked run down. Also people seemed to be a little rude. Much preferred the area by our hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

The boardwalks something Isom must experience. The beach is gorgeous and the convenience of shopping and restaurants is unmatched.

This is the perfect boardwalk. Well maintained. Bars, restaurants and shops line all 2.2 miles with the sand and beach on the other side. Police are well placed and visible throughout so safety is almost guaranteed. Great for biking, strolling, peddle cars and anything which moves without a motor. People watching is a must.

Absolutely stunning views and a fantastic path for walking running or cycling very inspirational and full of great bars and restaurants.

I love Hollywood Broadwalk and beach it’s always so clean and so many things to do. I love Ocean Alley. The food is great and it’s right on the beach

We ate at a local restaurant and then decided to take a walk along the boardwalk. Along the boardwalk there are restaurants, bars and a few shops. The boardwalk is divided into two sections, one for walkers and the other for wheels. The area was very clean with public restrooms available. It is also a great place to people watch! The palm trees in the beach sand look beautiful!

The hotel along with all of its amenities is very well kept, very clean and pleasing to the eye. All around the staff is very friendly and very helpful, especially the staff on the beach. We had a wonderful encounter with Derek who was eager to fulfill any requests and make sure we had a pleasant experience. Staff like Derek and small things like keeping the halls clean and rooms tidy have really made our trip one of the best ones yet! Thank you!

I love love love the broadwalk. Lots of restaurants and stores. Great place to exercise or people watch. Will be back

Nice, smooth walking surface along the beach. There is a dedicated path for bikes (although people walk on it to) and quite a few shops and restaurants along the way.

This is a beautiful boardwalk with great views of the beach. It's very well kept, nice and clean. If you enjoy walking or bicycling miles along the beach and like to stop in to various restaurants and bars then this is a great place for you.

Not my first time nor my last, what an amazing time anyone at any age can enjoy. This beautiful Hollywood Beach Boardwalk is full of amazing food, shopping, and great excersise. Filled with people of all ages from all over the world, biking, roller blading, jogging, walking non stop fun in the sun on this humongous stretch of beautiful boardwalk. Day or night find a perfect time to relax, eat, listen to live music, shop or even rent a bike... My gf and I really love the entire experience that comes with any visit to the Hollywood Boardwalk! Enjoy!

Beautiful area to walk, jog, ride bikes, etc. Very interesting and lots of shops, restaurants along the way.

The Hollywood Boardwalk is a perfect way to experience the beach. On one side there are restaurants, shops, and places to rent bikes, beach chairs, and more. On the other side is a beautiful, clean beach. In between in the walking area which also has a dedicated bike lane. No matter what you want to do, you'll find something to meet your needs.

It feels very unsafe to be here. The broadwalk is inundated especially at night with the smell of weed. The unsafe part is that there are a lot of shady characters especially at night. We vacationed here about 6 yrs ago and had a great time and couldn't wait to come back. Nothing wrong with Latin music but it seems that the majority of restaurants and bars now is all about Latin music. We were surprised to go to a bar that usually plays latin music to find them playing country but it was only one song. Not interested in returning. Positive note.... the beach is beautiful but then again it's beautiful where we come from too.

Just pay attention to bikes and all rolling cycles, it comes from everywhere, even Paris is beaten! Quite nice atmosphere, music from everywhere, when it is not the free concerts quite frequent genre from 7pm to 10pm. A good atmosphere simple and friendly, a splendid beach. Tip: watch out for seagulls and pigeons, if you leave anything, you will have your peanuts taken and gain a small dejection...

Beach boardwalk is wide, paved and includes a bike path. Boardwalk is accessible to wheelchairs. Also a bonus, in my opinion, is the abundant availability of public restrooms! Parking is not easy and is a bit expensive. $3/hour for metered spots and $4/hour in public lots. Margaritaville offers less expensive parking mon-thurs.

They have it all.
This is a long stretch of well maintained beach and boardwalk (now newly layered brick) with shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and no cars. There are plenty of options on wheels like bicycles, roller blades, Segways, Tricycle Taxis, etc., if you don’t feel like walking. Later in the evening there was live entertainment featuring a very good bluesy/rock band sponsored by Margaritaville Resorts on an open stage right on the boardwalk. Plenty of seating was set up about an hour prior to the show. Lots of people around to keep the entire place clean and safe. Loved it.

Nice place to see and explore the shops. It can be busy. Saturday there was a stage with a live band so that was fun

Very crowded, shady place. Did not feel safe. Not recommended for families. We walked for 20 minutes and could not find an ice cream place. The beach itself is nice.

The beach is extremely dirty and needs to be cleaned and there are people drinking alcohol and blasting music and screaming.

The boardwalk in Hollywood FL is clean, family friendly, with so many activities to enjoy. We love coming to Hollywood FL and we especially love the days we spend on the beach!!!

Boardwalk fun to visit clean and fun good family atmosphere some Restaurants are a little pricey But most are reasonable for the Beach

This appears to be a revitalized area, the boardwalk is well-maintained, there are many things to do and a wide variety of food.

A fun place for all ages. There’s something for anyone to do. This is a busy, but clean area. You’ll love it if you like people! This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway.

What a pleasure to stroll along the Hollywood boardwalk. Not too crowded. Just pleasant. Lots of food options and a beautiful beach with lots off space to be away from the crowds.

Great for shopping, dining, biking or just a stroll!
The people watching is the best too. We enjoyed the complimentary bicycles you get as being a guest of Margaritaville Hotel.

update broadwalk , empty buildings need renevations, more stores , too many homeless. more police . town needs to step up big time

Excellent leisurely walk along about 3 miles of beach. Lane closest to sand is bike lane where bikers can be moving very fast. Saw a biker moving so fast he ran over a pigeon, cutting its back end off. Much to our horror the pigeon flapped around desperately until it passed out and the biker calmly picked it up and threw it in the garbage. Hold on to small children to keep them out of the way of this lane for their own safety. Bikers can be moving very fast.

Although August is not the most recommended month to visit Miami and Florida more generally, between the intense heat and the most oppressive heat, the Hollywodd boradwalk has provided us with beautiful experiences. The most popular were restaurants with Mexican cuisine and beach theater. The beach and the sea were pleasant and the insistent presence of the POLICE made us feel comfortable. Absolutely to see, but watch out for prices. Prepare for a bloodletting to which we Europeans are not used even in August. Enjoy.

The Broadwalk is broad and clean. Most restaurants are south on the walk and on the water. Be careful when walking, to stay out of the bike lane!

We were here over President's Day Weekend (during the pandemic) and there were still large crowds. About half the people wore masks. Great place to find many different types of local eateries, shops and live music. If you like to people watch - this is the place for you!

We loved the boardwalk and beach. We will come back again and enjoy more. We were in FLauderdale and visited this area on our last day and enjoyed a beach that didn't have a busy highway running by it. Loved the option of biking, walking, sitting, eating and shopping.

Took my niece visiting from England. We went mid week while school is still in session. Great decision. The beach was ours to enjoy without huge crowds. There was a decent crowd of visitors but we enjoyed the peace of waves lapping, the occasional music on the boardwalk and the food fares along the way. A great way to spend a few hours.

The boardwalk was great to walk along and there are certainly some really fun beach bars! However, I do think they could either add a couple more dining spots or at least have them open a little earlier. We got there at 10am on our first day and nothing was open until 11 so we had nowhere to go while we were waiting to be able to do an early check-in for our room. A few places would be open but then close to reopen for lunch and we kept running into that problem and then having to spend a ton of time trying to find elsewhere that was open.

my family and i went to this place on the weekend to have a good time, we had lunch, tell jokes to each other and laugh in one of those many little restaurants there are a lots people walking riding bicycle or just relaxing enjoying the ocean if you r driving you have to find parking first and pay in advance preferable go there early about 10 or 11;am otherwise is gonna be impossible to find parking.

The beach was dirty. There were a group of people who had alcohol and were doing inappropriate dances there was a lot of alcohol bottles do not recommend

It's former charm, if you will, was it's homeliness and rinky-dink sensibility.
No ridiculous velvet ropes, no hip hop "stars" in stretch limousines.
Now, with the arrival of the Margaritaville complex, it's obvious to me that they're going for the South Beach esthetic.
Big mistake.
Don't they realize that South Beach is totally over?? Nobody goes there anymore! Finished!
Hopefully they'll learn and not allow any more glitzy monstrousities to be built.
They need to save the charm that's still there!

sun, safe, nice stroll along the beach - plenty of eateries and little shops to spend time in shopping

This is a great place with lots of sights but sadly we are not allowed to skate on the broadwalk. I suspect it is because they don't want people doing tricks on anything and causing damage, this I can understand. But for us regular people who want to cruise on our longboards or e-boards, this is a deal breaker.

This was a very clean place but they don’t have anything for young kids to do. it would have been nice if they would have things for all ages to do.

Very nice broad walk and beach. I like how there is a separate lane for bikes vs those walking. Also there were numerous water stations to wipe all your feet after going on the beach.

There were some ok restaurants on the boardwalk but most are dirty dives with substandard food and bad service. Great people watching and nice area to stroll. I understand businesses are all short staffed and hiring. Nice thing is there is about every kind of food or drink you want and party stores to pack your cooler. The problem is, many places don’t take reservations and places closed really early. Like the tiki bar at margaritaville closed before 6:30 pm. Ocean alley wouldn’t seat us at 7:15 pm bc kitchen closed during busy season on spring break? Thank goodness for subway.
There are a few seedy looking places and a plaza that was totally vacant. The place could use a makeover. Never saw anyone performing at the Hollywood Theatre.

Pretty long boardwalk , good for cycling , running when not to crowded(which is from 5-8 am) other time bicycle route is full of huge tourist bicycle carts and people walking on it) It’s not the best one - Miami Beach or FT Lauderdale is way better .
Hollywood broadwalk has lot of outdated vibes, elderly housings, and very ratchet at some parts, not good quality restaurants, old buildings , overpriced tourist stores.
Some places near restaurants stink so bad have no idea how people can dine there and the smell is always there .
Around 9-10 pm there are bunch of drunk people near bars. In general it’s pretty safe, lots of parking (be careful most of them only until 10PM you will get towed after this time and it’s super tiny sign which hard to see).
To make story short , it’s definitely not the place where I would bring my family or friends when they visiting , but it’s ok to spend time on the beach or jog

Looking for a place to take a walk that is not boring, then Hollywood Beach Boardwalk is for you.
With miles of concrete pavement making it easy for everyone to enjoy. From bilking, to rollerblading to jogging or just about anything else you desire this beachfront boardwalk offers a little of everything for everyone.
There are restaurants and shops along the way with a variety of different foods and ice cream as well as bars if you so desire.
A great place for family or friends to hangout or just to lounge on the beach.
Bike rentals are also available.
South Florida’s version of Atlantic City.
Check it out.

Hollywood Broadwalk does not disappoint. If the beautiful beaches and ocean views doesn’t inspire you maybe the numerous diverse cafés, bars and activities on the Broadwalk will. Whether it’s renting a bike or scooter, splashing in the ocean or having a delicious meal. From pizza and tacos to seafood and steaks… It’s all there. I highly recommend if you come down to Hollywood Beach to go to the Broadwalk.
Also check out the intercoastal (across the street) that also has numerous restaurants from Greek, seafood stone crabs, and the best burgers ever at Le tub!! You can also pick up the water taxi go through the intercoastal and bar hop while viewing beautiful mansions along the way. Truly a day of fun!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed the broadwalk because it meant we didn’t have to force my infant into a car seat that he hates each time we wanted to get out and about. There are many restaurants and shops. If you are craving anything, chances are you can find it on the broadwalk. We never felt unsafe walking around at any time of day. There is no need for a car while visiting Hollywood beach because of the broadwalk. It was our main reason we picked this vacation spot it and it is our main reason for wanting to come back.

Very nice walk, decent restaurants. Sadly, all playgrounds are closed due to COVID but we enjoyed it very much. The views were beautiful and there were showers all along the way which were great to cool off!. Family friendly (masks must be worn), bikes available for rent, hotels and condos with great views. Lots to do. Parking was a bit limited and $10 for the day or $6 after 2pm. Overall would recommend.

I'm so glad I packed my in-line skates! The boardwalk is perfect for skating, running, biking and walking. I got miles of skating and walking in on this trip!

Unlike some other spots in Florida, where the beach is blocked by massive hotels and condos, the Broadwalk makes the beautiful beach accessible to all.
The pedestrian walk is awesome for strolling, running, biking, or rollerblading — and gives you access to the beach on one side and great restaurants, bars, and shops on the other. Snag a cocktail and enjoy the sun, surf, and people watching as you cruise the Broadwalk’s 2.5 miles.
There are loads of parking options, from on-street parking to garage parking, so finding a place to park for the day is pretty easy.
Pro tip: the rates at the Margaritaville Resort garage are incredibly reasonable.

The promenade is pretty and clean, with small hotels, condos and businesses along the way. There is a separate bike path for those on wheels, and there are regular events: music at the band shell located right on the beach, runs and so on. Family friendly and pleasant. It is a scenic walk that you can top off by going to a small cafe (Cafe Club) just by the band shell that serves the best crepes if you want a scrumptious breakfast and opportunity to people watch.

Loved it, it was really nice to walk on it, plenty of eateries and small shops, well maintained (i.e. clean), nice views, with a lane for bicycles, etc.

Great boardwalk and beautiful beach. Family trip with 2 and 10 year olds and they loved it. Lots to do and see. Rented a couple of chairs and umbrella on the beach and played all day. Recommend the Hollywood beach Marriot and you must stop at Puffles and try their amazing cones.

I have spent many years visiting Hollywood Beach and it's boardwalk and each time I can't help but feel what an amazing place it is. It's got a great buzz with people, cycling, jogging and strolling. There are bars and restaurants of all nationalities overlooking the beach. The highlight for me is listening and dancing to the bands performing on the Band Shell five nights a week.Throughout the year there are different events taking place. It's an absolutely beautiful place to visit either during the day or evening.

I love how this area is setup. The hotels walk out to the boardwalk and the boardwalk walks out to the ocean. The boardwalk even has a dedicated path for bicycles.

Very cozy, family friendly atmosphere, designated bike lane, Bike parking. Tons of outdoor activities, clean and nice beach.

Just got back from Rowhanda ((Hollywood Beach Fl)....Unless you’re into that culture, stay away. You will not believe what you see, even at Margaritaville. Not for us.
Never again. Not safe. Not for families. Only for drugs and prostitutes.

This was our first visit to Hollywood Beach and I found it to be very dumpy. The beach in front of our resort was nice, the resort itself (Margaritaville) was nice, but the broadwalk had only a handful of shops with overpriced junk, and several restaurants that seemed seedy. Maybe the area used to be nice but we thought it was pretty gross and were quite shocked that it was so grubby after all the reviews claiming it was the best beach in south Florida, etc. maybe my standards were too high, but if you’re looking for a clean, nice, family friendly beach, avoid this place like the plague!!!!

Beautiful views, interesting people and exercise all in one! I highly recommend you check it out while visiting Hollywood!

Great walk, picturesque but beware of the stretch of restaurants ... pretty mediocre to bordering on disgusting.

Highly recommend walking this boardwalk! Very nice city will return shortly.. also recommend taking the free electric car circuit service to downtown Hollywood, FL.

A great place for families, exercise, sun bathing, playing in the sand and ocean, delicious food and drinks. All so close together. With awesome views!

Derick Michael the beach attendant did a fantastic job!! He made our beaching experience so much better. He was attentive and provided excellent sight seeing opportunities while my wife and I visited from DC. Derrick you are the “MAN”!!!😃😃😃

We absolutely loved this boardwalk. You have a beautiful beach off to one side and shops, hotels, restaurants, etc., along the other side.
We arrived late on the one night we were staying prior to heading out for a cruise in the morning. We were pretty tired, but we did walk down to the beach theater and catch the tail end of a good band closing the night down. There were a few bars to grab a drink just in the short distance we ventured that night.
The next morning was great with a long stroll down the boardwalk to do some people watching, stop at a tiki bar, lunch at the Taco Spot, and enjoying the sandy beach. There is plenty to do here if you want. Otherwise, you can just kick back and relax on the beach. Changes in latitude definitely do give changes in attitude. If we get the chance, we will be back for sure.

Great and nice place to walk, eat, shop, walk or just sit down to do nothing. We loved the view and the people is very nice.

Great up and coming area Nice clean, quiet beach. We enjoyed the area during our brief stay after our cruise. We will be back with the family. Lots to do.

There is something here for everyone. They have bike rentals, motorized bike rentals and surreys (pedal cars). The beach is kept clean, there are restaurants for every food type, parks and entertainment all within walking distance of each other. I definitely would come back

I mean, who doesn't want to stroll down the beach like this?! It was just so nice to see people happy - laughing, out and about. People watching here is great!

Plenty of places to eat drink and shop. Walk down the Broadwalk and see the ocean or stop for a drink and it's a bite to eat, nice relaxing day

Kudos to the Hollywood Police Department for the way they police this area. My wife and I enjoy this beach because of the family atmosphere. We don't worry about people begin obnoxious or disruptive. Beaches to the south have become lawless to the point of being dangerous but Hollywood Beach does it right!

The beach and boardwalk are so much fun! We parked in the Margaritaville public ramp and that got us right in the entertainment zone. Im already planning a trip back!

Wonderful way to spend the day by the ocean. Lots of restaurants to choose froom with prices that were much more fair than touris rip offs in Ft Lauderdale. Several days a week, there is a local band playing music in the afternoon with Frank Sinatra & Andy William vibes which gave a nice relaxing feel to just sitting nearby & enjoying the ocean. Beach can get a bit crowded near the music. Some of the shops were a bit pricey - would have bought some beach souveniers but mostly overpriced.

They keep this very clean and it is beautiful.... but VERY crowded. I walked it every day, and ran one day, but I went when it wasn't super crowded. I went fairly early in the day. After that, Do not expect to be able to ride a bike for exercise, or run without needing to be alert for others. Almost got ran over by bikers not paying attention! Lots of restaurants, little shops, bike rentals, along the boardwalk. It is a great way to view the ocean while walking or running. The separate bike path is a nice though, but the bikers do not stay in the biking lane and there should be arrows to direct them. I don't think people have common understanding of passing on the left.

It was my first time on the Hollywood Boardwalk. I found it was dirty and looked run down. There are a lot of restaurants on the boardwalk, some tourist shops, bike rentals and smaller hotels. The beach is lovely, but the area needs a good clean-up and update.

I wrote a review yesterday and somehow only got 4 stars. I wanted to give it 5 stars. If it ha higher I would give that. The staff is great and every meal we had was delicious.

Nice place to rollerblade in inline skate and take a excellent pics, is a beach to take a break of the city.

Hollywood Beach is a gorgeous beach with really nice sand. You can walk on the beach or the promenade for miles. There are benches along the way, lovely palm trees, and a fantastic view of the ocean. Good luck parking. Garages, lots available with paid parking. Many restaurants and bars and shops readily available.

Best board walk in South Florida, due to continuous ocean views, ocean side bars and restaurants, and length (over 2 miles long". Its old Florida (in a good way), but area is coming up in the world and being graduated renovated.

Run down, dirty, dangerous, no police presence. I was there for about an hour and two separate people tried to pick pocket me. One was some homeless bum and the other was some kid on a skateboard. Other than that Hollywood was a quant place.

Went on a Saturday night around 7 pm for a family stroll and dinner. So disappointed this place has gone downhill. My kids did not feel safe. Extremely crowded with almost no one wearing masks. Dirty with seedy looking characters. Panhandlers on the benches. Saw a couple of policemen who looked overwhelmed. Garbage everywhere. Perhaps it's not like this on weekdays but not coming back anytime soon.

Clean boardwalk with some restaurants and shops. Lively area to just walk around and relax
with friends

Hollywood beach is underrated and I'm afraid that it will become more popular in the near future. Lots of bars/restaurants with good food and reasonable prices.

Definitely a fun place to be. Whether you’re on a skateboard, rollerblades, bicycle or just out for a walk this place is entertaining at the very least. I have been here several times and I can assure you there’s never a dull moment. The people watching alone is enough to keep you occupied for quite some time. In the mood for a nice breakfast? Stop at the Marriott right on the boardwalk. Otherwise, there are plenty of places to choose from for light fare or a cold drink or cocktail. The ocean is beautiful and accessible to the public. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a price. Definitely recommend it

Walked up and down the boardwalk several times. Lotsa kewl restaurants, shops and opportunities for ppl watching. We had a blast!!

We drive across the state from Sarasota now and then for the Broadwalk it’s a great place to be. Lots of restaurants beautiful beach

We visited Hollywood for two days and were looking for activities to do with our small 13 lbs dog. Hollywood is not a friendly city for dog owner. Everywhere we went you could not bring your dog.
We went on the boardwalk and at first you don’t really see the sign only when you walk on the boardwalk that you see dogs were not allowed on the boardwalk so we decided to put our dog in a closed in stroller.
Luckily for us we had almost finish walking the boardwalk when we were stop by the police, we got a $50 fine because we had a dog on the boardwalk, it didn’t matter that our dog was in the closed in stroller, the officer told us, Hollywood has a zero tolerance.
So be aware.

We rented a cabana and chaise lounge from George. Great service and reasonable price. Very personable and professional guy who works for a quality company. I was so comfortable on the beach that I fell asleep. Thanks, George.

Good food and service. Dine inside or out but we prefer outside because the view of the sun and surf was spectacular plus we love to people watch.
Service was quick and prices were very affordable.

Great for walking or biking (with dedicated bike lane), lots of restaurants and fun bars. Safe and clean, bring the family!

Enjoyed a morning run on the boardwalk. Great scenery. Lots of people, safe and well lit in the early morning.

Great family area. Plenty of entertainment for all ages. Loved the bicycle rental. Lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, ice cream for the kiddos. Our first time and we loved it.

A great walking spot with shops, bars and restaurants.
It’s very picturesque.
Check it out at night. It’s great.

Gross. Overpriced. Everything we had was really bad and at twice the cost of a normal restaurant or store, it made the experience even worse. If you can, go further north to Lauderdale by the Sea. Cute town. Good restaurants.

The boardwalk is pretty long and on weekends it gets a little crowded. Must be careful with bikes and other rental bicycles. A few restaurants and fast food places and shops along the boardwalk are also available. The beach is clean and the parking spaces sometimes are hard to find. I found a meter parking space about 1 mile from the Margaritaville Hotel which was a great distance to walk and enjoy the place. There's a kids area where they can play with water when it's on. There's also a small stage where a few concerts are held during the year.

The boardwalk is very wide to make it both pedestrian and bicycle friendly. We walked half the boardwalk then rented bikes. We were able to bike right up to Dania beach. Been there twice and will always be on our agenda when we go back to Florida. Great selection of bars and restaurants and shopping

The boardwalk is what makes this beach my favorite. It is even better than south beach. I appreciate being able to have everything right there on the beach.

Not the cleanest (litter and trash), so many dive bars and outdated eateries. It's not at all glamorous and gives off a "sticky" vibe, but the beach makes up for it .

Renovated over the years, the boardwalk has become the hub of Hollywood. Love biking it each morning and the restaurants that are along the walk provide a wide variety of choices at varying prices. A blast!!

Wonderful boardwalk next to the beach. Lots of options for food and drink. Some live music. Great for people watching.

Officer stopped me and my wife and asked us to leave because we had our dogs with us. There were two other dogs within 10ft of us and he never approached those owners, or asked them to leave. Felt like we were targeted. Never going back to the boardwalk

We had a great room at the Wyndham Gardens Hotel in Dania Beach. Very clean and excellent continental Breakfast.

Great beach and nice to walk down to find a meal and or/a drink, and do some tourist shopping. Wish we would have have stayed closer to it (we stayed closer to hallendale beach).

I am currently staying at the Marriott Hollywood Beach which is right on the Broadwalk. It is so nice to wake up in the morning and go for a walk and also walk to the restaurants with dinner. Lots of families, there’s a designated bike path, tons of people around morning noon and night, everyone very friendly. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Wish I could retire here!

Boardwalk was clean and had amazing views of ocean, we enjoyed bike rides in the morning. Sunrise was amazing each morning.

Great location with lots of options for food - cold drinks - and shopping. Its a pretty cool area to visit and enjoy the day. Great beach views from all locations, really. Well worth stopping by

Too crowded on broadwalk. No respect for the bike path as people walk on path making it difficult for bikers.

There is so much to do on this stretch directly next to the beach. The city of Hollywood has done an amazing job incorporating it into the surrounding area both beach and the businesses along the path. We enjoyed renting bikes to go up and down as well as just walking while stopping in the various shops for ice cream, souvenirs or just to shop.

Stayed the day before our cruise. Reasonable prices. Close to airport and cruise port. Free shuttle from airport and $10pp to cruise port. Absolutely stay here again. Approximately $13 Uber ride to Hollywood boardwalk

Ok for the people leaving negative reviews get a clue. I arrived 3 days ago on thursday. I have not seen anything that suggests unsafe areas or any shady characters. Go back to your sheltered lives and stay there. This broad walk is awesome. I love it here. A little bit of everything. The beach is beautiful. Lots of parking. You have to pay but the same can be said for most places near the beach. Just go somewhere like clearwater. Pay to park also. Bottom line is hollywood beach is really fun and has a lot to offer.

We were dead center of Hollywood Boardwalk, as we were staying at the Margaritaville Resort. We loved that there was so much to do and see within the area!! For sure a place not to miss!! There are live bands, places to eat, places to shop, Ice Creams, People Skating, People riding Bikes, and more!! This was really a treat for us to be right in the middle of our stay! Go! You will not regret it!!

Really beautiful area. The parking was not good but we went on a Saturday afternoon. They just need more. Lovely place to visit.

Good morning! The name should read Hollywood Broadwalk. For example, to locate a business their address would be 900 N Broadwalk.
Have a Hollywood Beach Day SOON!!
Thank you

i love this place. the beach is well taken care of. if you like to people watch , this is the place. it is safe and everything you may need is right on the broadwalk

This is a great Place The watch people The eat and the have a few drinks Then Even though On the weekends is it touch crowded Enjoyed it immensely Vibrant community Family atmosphere There are some If Places I didn't wanna visit But overall excellent walk excellent by cycling Excellent rollerblading or roller skating Flat Fantastic shops and restaurants

Just everything you need for a clean family outdoor enjoyment. No hassles, and you get that totally relaxed feeling. Nice brews and eats, something for every one.

Wife and I have been here a number of times. Always entertaining. A bit more bohemian this trip as there was little police presence. Little crime just more "no rules" regarding pets, alcohol and weed.

Be aware that police will give you citation without warning especially if you look like a tourist. You are better to read all the rules and uderstand them cause they will not let you go without a citation. Not a chance
We decided to go back to our hotel and spend the rest of the vacation there to avoid any unpleasant miami surprises

We stayed about a 3 min walk away from Hollywood Beach boardwalk. We were not really sure what to expect and loved every min of our 3 days in this area.
There were washrooms every so many mins, lots of playgrounds for kids, you could rent bikes and other 4 wheel toys that held 4 people. There was an area of the board walk well labeled for bikes, rollerblades and so on and then a section for walkers.
There is so many bars, restaurants, clothing and tourist shops along the way. Friday & Saturday evening there was a lot of other things going on live music and other performers. How this was close to Christmas there was even a skating rink and Santa Claus (part of Margaritaville) outside meeting kids. Even got to see some beautiful sunsets.
We look forward to coming back to this area.

Latin music and amazing atmosphere. Great to prominade the boardwalk. Watch out for bicycles. We do this every time visiting the area

Brick pavers line the 2 mile boardwalk. You can stroll or bike or rent a 2 to 4 person canopied surrey. It is very family friendly. Well behaved crowd. Many restaurants, bars, unique shops and rentals face the beautiful beach. Observed police beach patrols. Parking is plentiful and reasonably priced. Grab an ice cream cone, sit back, relax and listen to some live music as the sun sets for a perfect evening.

Love love love this broadwalk! I love the fact that it is cement and my husband and I absolutely enjoy and love to ride bikes on the broadwalk. I like to get up really early and Jog. It's perfect to jog on as you look at the ocean . I would get up before it was completely light out and watch the sunrise as I jog. How perfect is that! Lots of restaurants and hotels there. Some souvenir shops. A very clean Beach. Would highly recommend coming to Hollywood Beach, so glad they have a broadwalk!

Hollywood Beach boardwalk was great. We did alot of walking. Recommend wearing comfortable shoes and sun screen since it was hot.

This boardwalk is located along Fort Lauderdale beach. It is a great boardwalk for walking or running. Great if you also just want to sit and look at the ocean and enjoy the nicest breeze. Along the boardwalk you’ll find bars, restaurants and hotels.
Great way to start the day if you want to see the sun rise. Highly recommended.

I’m not sure about the entire boardwalk but the 1/2 to 1 section around Margaritaville amphitheater is just hopping. The nightly music is amazing. So many places to eat. Crowds are energetic. This is where you wanna be if your in the Hollywood area whether it be during the day with all beach activities and sun or chilling and enjoying the night music and ocean breezes. On side note, it felt secure with plenty of wonderful local officers maintaining a subtle presence. One of our new favorite hot spots.

Great for walking, biking, rollerblading or running. Lots of restaurants and small shops. I will definitely recommend this if you enjoy the beaches.

People are not friendly here… very rude. Otherwise it was good. Enjoyed live music at Margaritaville Police was great and made you feel safe.

Always have a great time on Hollywood Beach. The trip in Feb was quite cool and Super Windy we rented bikes but were not able to ride the winds were too strong! Plenty of good places to eat and shop!

Park at the Margaritaville Hotel parking garage. Not too expensive and a perfect spot. Fun to walk and so many shops and restaurants. Gelato- Go had excellent gelato. Free concert every Wednesday - Sunday night at the Margaritaville stage right off the beach.

We drove from Fort Lauderdale just to experience the Boardwalk. Good experience but watch out for dog poop that doesn’t get picked up:(
also - the beach was extremely littered with garbage from the days visitors😢

This is a huge boardwalk with restaurants and nice bike shops to rent a nice bike! It was so great to have the beach to look at as we rode our bikes! Loved it!

$280 for 1 night, where both the air conditioning and the refrigerator produce a lot of noise. You can unplug the refrigerator, but the air conditioning makes the noise of a plane taking off. Filing a complaint about this leads to a shrug of the shoulders.
The breakfast is super bad and expensive.
You would expect much better quality from a Mariott hotel.

Nice wide boardwalk. Be wary of the bike lane, some bicyclists seriously ride through there. Fun people watching. Lots of food and snack places.

What a great area, clean and well lit with many restaurants and bars. They also have a nice beachside community stage for concerts.

This is my favorite boardwalk on the east coast. Having been to quite a few (Wildwood, Atlantic City, Ocean City-NJ, Ocean City- MD, Ocean Grove, NJ, Carolina Beach, Virginia Beach (probably #2), and Daytona Beach), this one best combines a lovely palm-lined beach, a long and wide surface and plenty of low-key eating and drinking spots...both on the Broad-Walk and within walking distance nearby.
The beach is great with a mixture of local folks and those who have travelled a distance. Great people watching with a diverse crowd of families, singles, vacationers, locals and a bit of everything.
You can sample many types of ethnic and American food in the many restaurants or grab a beer at open air bars. Or hit the beach, rent a chair and umbrella for two or bring your own.
For a real treat, walk north past the Marriott into the beautiful Hollywood North Beach Park with it's thick sea grapes, natural dunes and relaxing picnic spots. Keep going and the path continues to an adjacent beach side neighborhood. There are walkers bikers, skaters and families in those foot-powered surreys that are available to rent.
Truly something for everyone here and it is safe and clean place I have enjoyed many times in my travels to Florida.
Highly recommend.

LOVE IT...nothing more to say than there is something for everyone. Food, shops, drinks, ice cream, bike rentals, etc.

Even when it was windy, the boardwalk was a fun walk. Easy to explore the restaurants and shopping along the way.

Bikes, skateboards, people from all backgrounds on the boardwalk. Beautiful vistas at sunset. Lots of little places to stop along the way including restaurants, pubs and shops. Benches if you need a rest now and then.

We were a group of 6 people, we entered through Margaritaville directly to the pedestrian promenade and from there to walk along the beach.
The great advantage of this place is that the promenade is located in the middle of the beach and on the other side you have hotels, places selling food, drinks, shops, car garages, there are no mobilities that interrupt this functional relationship. People take advantage to walk along the promenade, drive individual and group bikes, walk along the beach, as planned the place is very flexible.
The beach is quite spacious and long, white sand, rental options for sun beds and umbrellas.
Very good place to walk.

With some hesitation, my husband and I decided to plan a trip away after a year of not going anywhere due to Covid. We decided to come to Hollywood, Florida. We were a bit nervous about the situation for spring break, however it’s turned out to be a wonderful getaway with no issues. It is busy, but Hollywood is not what you would call a spring break kind of resort town. Mostly older people and young families. It has a nice boardwalk, and is not a Mecca of partying. Our meals have been wonderful, especially Nick's (check it out!). The water was amazing, warm and clean. I highly recommend this beach if you do not want to do a busy Fort Lauderdale or Miami trip.

Very clean! The beach along the broadwalk is beautiful! Felt safe day and night! Every kind of food you can imagine! Live music every night!

The Hollywood Boardwalk was clean and well taken care of. Lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. People bicycling and rollerblading, walking and everyone friendly.

locally known as the "broadwalk" my wife and I walk it every day when we are there. We have now bought a condo with the help of Tara Leone of Hollywood Beach Realty.

We walked the entire boardwalk, it’s about 3 miles. We were killing time waiting for a flight. Lots of restaurants along the board walk. Wish we had more time to try them. Beach was nice. A little older area I would say. Felt mostly safe, was a quiet Monday. Not sure if this would be a destination for our family as we live so far away. But really seemed like a solid beach, bar, hotel spot.

Spent the afternoon with my kiddos. This was a very nice boardwalk with great shops! I nightly recommend to anyone coming to town to check it out. Stopped at Margaritaville for a drink!

Everything you could want on a boardwalk, souvenirs, music at the bandshell, drinks, food, food, food, all types of ethnic varieties, you won’t go hungry!

Lots of restaurant and shop options. Parking can be tricky. Recommend going when the sun goes down some unless going to beach 🏖.

We were amazed at how clean the ocean was. The water was incredible and so blue!!! We will definitely be back again. Our vacation was perfect.

Booked our room based on the boardwalk. Went down, not what we had imagined. Low income, locals, not what we expected. Fort Lauderdale way nicer.

One of the nicest attractions in Hollywood is its broadwalk and adjacent beach. There is usually plenty of activity and a pretty decent selection of places to eat or enjoy a beer or cocktail. Some of our favorites are Istanbul or Bonny and Read’s Toucan Hideout. There are also a couple of decent taco restaurants. Parking, however, can be a problem, so allow time to find a parking space or take a taxi or Uber.

Been coming to Hollywood Broadwalk for 25 years. Unfortunately, the area has really gone downhill. Be cautious walking alone or at night. Not safe for kids or women. We witnessed several people harassed by panhandlers or people under the influence of whatever, although likely marijuana because that’s pretty much ALL you can smell.

We visited the boardwalk on Saturday from around noon until 8pm. It was a warm day with lots of people in the area. As the overview indicates the are numerous bars, restaurants and boutiques. We spent most of the day laying on the beach going in and out of the warm water. There was a performance by a rock band at the outdoor theatre at 7pm.

I like this place. It’s basically fun for everyone. Well kept for the most part and if you enjoy people watching then this is definitely the place for you. Plenty of places to pop in and have a drink or lunch or a light snack. Great ocean views.

This is our 7th trip to Hollywood Beach. The boardwalk, restaurants, beach and the view is spectacular. It’s a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere that’s fun for the entire family.

The boardwalk was great to run on early in the morning. At night, with the tables from the restaurants for social distancing spread out, it was crowded. The restaurants, which there are
many, did not look clean to me (aside from Subway). We did not eat at any of the boardwalk restaurants or even get a drink or ice cream. There are way too many bikes, pedal cars and these low 3 wheeled bikes that are low to the ground that kids zoom around on.

Great restaurants and bars. Cute shops. Large selection of places to stay, hotels, motels, Airbnb's and Vrbo's

We stayed 3 nights and two days here. The beach was beautiful and water was warm and clear . There are lots of restaurants , ice cream parlors and souvenir shops. The broadwalk borders the beach so there is a lot of oceanview dining . There is a lane for pedestrians and a lane for wheeled activities like bikes, rollerblades and scooters . Skateboarding not allowed though . Lots of activity on the boardwalk .
Things you should know :
- All the restaurants/bars automatically add a minimum of 18% gratuity to your bill. I think this leads to below average service at some businesses because the staff knows they get a tip automatically. We did have really good service at a couple restaurants.
- There are places on the beach that rent beach furniture like chairs and cabanas . Couldn’t find a lot of info online about this but this is available. Boucher Brothers had furniture in front of our hotel . These are available to the general public. You can get a discount depending on where you stay . The site in front of our hotel had a cabana package for 50 dollars a day . It included a shade shelter and two chairs . Our rate was 30 dollars a day because we were guests at the Costa Hotel . You could rent just the chairs or just the shade as well.
-Food on the Broadwalk is super expensive but you can have food delivered from other parts of Hollywood via Uber Eats .
-The broadwalk area starts to close down pretty early . Sunset was sometime between 7 and 8. As far as I could tell , most restaurants closed by dark . The gift shops and a few other places stayed open a little later .There is free concerts on a stage near margaritaville . The concerts seemed to draw a lot of people and kept the area alive until 9pm. Quite an entertaining area for people watching . The crowds quickly dispersed at 9pm when the concert ended . So essentially businesses started shutting down a little after 7pm and the remaining shops closed up at 9 pm. I read somewhere that the city forces businesses to shut their lights off on the Broadwalk at a certain time so turtles don’t confuse the lights for the moon .
-The area also opens a little late . We first hit the Broadwalk around 10 am and half the businesses hadn’t opened yet . Visit noon-7pm if you want to see all the shops open . Hang around until 9pm for
the concert nightlife if you wish .

The boardwalk was for a little bit of everybody. A lot kids running freely at night but I wouldn’t suggest that.

I brought my wife to the Boardwalk to experience a leisure walk and have a few bites of local fare, at various local restaurants. We were met with a combat zone of bicycler's and skate boarders bounding recklessly thru the crowds, and wall-to-wall people with no regard to social distancing or mask wearing in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic. There was no visible law enforcement. Pets were seen in several areas, eating establishments overwhelmed. I'm sure it was fun for some, but not us. Don't worry, we will not be back.

The broadwalk is a busy, active place. Perfect for strolls, shopping and food and drinks. It’s about 2.5 miles long and you can almost always come upon good music. We love it!

Best outstanding customer service Ben and Darvin our two of the most outstanding workers I have come a cross great job guys

The Broadwalk is an excellent location for walking, jogging, or bike riding. The wide, immaculate walkway is adjacent to the beach and a myriad of restaurants and shops. It is great to have a car free area!! Watch out if you cross the bike lane. Serious bike riders get upset!!

This boardwalk was amazing. Not busy at all. we stayed exactly 73 steps away from the ocean. the breeze was extremely welcoming, many restaurants we walked to, bike rental, a few shops. only complaint was a lifeguard that was on duty was extremely rude to everyone that was swimming. i know he was looking out for the safety of people, but he was very rude about it

I can't understand the many good reviews. The beach is beautiful, like many in Florida. The promenade is not worth seeing. Or rather, very disgusting. Lots of drunks and weirdos wander around there. It's dirty. The restaurants are more like snack bars with poor hygiene. Although dogs are not allowed, there was shit on the floor everywhere. Everything looks unkempt. It's a bit like Ballermann. The difference is that Ballermann has well-kept and good restaurants. You won't find that here.

I'd rather call this boardwalk a very nice seaside promenade, as it's not made of wood like on South beach. It's paved, with decorated entrances to the beach and stretching very long parallel with ocean.
There are many joggers and cyclers along it, as well plenty of cafes and restaurants to relax, sip a drink and people watch.

Very nice family oriented, safe area. Beautiful beach. Many restaurants, bars and bike rentals. Different range of price restaurants-kids will love it.

Nice way to enjoy the beach and do a bit of people watching! Having a meal with the ocean breeze is always a delight.

Excellent service. Richard, analee and dom made the experience perfect and took care of everything I needed

One of my favorite places to be. Regardless of friends or with family i am here once or twice a week. Beaching, roller blading, biking, joking, walking or eating the Boardwalk is a place to do it all!! It always very clean and tidy with tranquil vibe from everyone at all times.

We love to walk the boardwalk, get Ice cream, shop, get some Pizza at Florios. When our kids come we rent a bike for several people and have a leisurely ride. It is relaxing and fun.

Spent the day on Hollywood Beach today and rented 2 chairs and an umbrella from Darvin of Boucher Brothers. He explained the prices and equipment very simply and was very welcoming and patient with us while we took time to decide. He also checked on us to make sure everything was up to par. 5 Star Services would definitely recommend.

We’ve been to quite a few boardwalks, and this is one of the more relaxing, beachy, exercise, bike, walk and food atmosphere than other’s. You will not find arcades and a slew of trinket shops like in Wildwood, Virginia Beach or Daytona Beach boardwalks. It could use some updating as there is a vacant mall and some vacant buildings. It would be great if the town made unique plans for these vacancies to bring back even more people to the boardwalk, and create a little more action, and more for families to do, ideas like miniature golf, skate board park, splash pad, classy arcade, etc…..There are also homeless people sleeping on the boardwalk and beach, which was sad, and we did pay it forward and give one a full dinner we purchased at Giorgio’s across the street. We did not see a real presence of police at all during our January trip, except for the police car that was unoccupied along the side of the road. No pets are allowed. We walked it everyday, and they do have restaurants that stay open at night if you need a bite to eat. We have twin 13 year old boys, we did not bring on the trip, and they might have been bored, other than the biking and ocean.

The Hollywood Boardwalk is ideal for family or friends who want to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the ocean. Lots of room for walkers, bikers, and runners. Great setting - among the best in Florida.

There’s always something happening on the Broadwalk in Hollywood. Shops, restaurants, entertainment, and just people watching are available. With the variety of cuisines, if you can’t find a meal, you’re not hungry! Can’t beat the beach which is always kept clean.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stroll on the boardwalk! Restaurants and store fronts galore - true entertainment was window shopping and people watching. Downfall of this place is that it's not pet friendly.

Great place to walk in the morning. Great place to hang out at night. There's a lot of places to eat and drink, and in front of Margaritaville, there's a band shell, where bands play almost every night. Friday night was the best, PLUS no fights or spats. Plenty of police, in case they are needed, but they weren't. Love the men and women in blue!!!

A beautiful view with a beach crowd that varies in age (unlike many beaches that are dominated by the elderly only). Terrific walkway with great restaurants and people watching. Cost to park is $3

Great day. Beautiful ocean. Great restaurant selections, and bicycles for rent to enjoy the Broadwalk.
We had drinks at a restaurant called the Blue Wave. Pricey but really good.

The Broadwalk is a great place to get in your steps with spectacular beach views almost the entire strip. Lots and lots of people, but it never really seems crowded. If you like to people watch, this is the place for you. A full range of food and bars let you pause periodically and enjoy relaxing.

AMAZING BROAD WALK everything i needed was there . All the shop worker/ staff was awesome and very helpful

Wonderful time walking the Boardwalk at Hollywood Beach. This was my second time here and we will be back. Visited a number of businesses along the way. There is a lot more to explore that we covered in this one evening. An outdoor concert was going on and we stayed to enjoy the music.

We enjoyed the boardwalk but a few times the bikes were just too fast and ran into people, it was nice to walk to beach and restaurants

We walked this for most of a day and did parts of it several times. It was clean and although there were many people using It, we had plenty of room.

For shopping and food, you only need to go between the Hollywood Parking Garage at 359 Harrison St and the Margarita Latitudes area. For beach and ocean viewing, go everywhere else. Its 2.5 miles long, so from one end to the other is 5 miles and considered exercise. For shopping, drinks and food this 3 mile route covers it all.

We went for a stroll on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk. We were told is about 4 miles long but we did not walk the whole thing.
There are numerous bars and restaurants along the length of the boardwalk with public showers and washrooms readily available

Took mom to watch sunrise. Beautiful experience. Rocco pizza open for Breakfast. They do breakfast too. Delicious. Enter by Margaritaville hotel.

The Broadwalk is always a great place to go for a walk at night there's entertainment and plenty of international restaurants to choose from. It can get a little crowded during holiday season but it's an interesting place to hang out.

The boardwalk was great to walk and look around. Lots to offer shopping and lots of food places. Very nice and clean vs other boardwalk and beaches we been to.

What an awesome place to walk around.
You are walking along the beach with a nice breeze
and view and cars are not allowed close to this walkway
so it is much safer than some areas. You can ride your
bicycle though.
There are many bars along this trail to eat, drink shop.

Unending possibilities for food, people watching, sun soaking and cocktail loving with beautiful sunshine as you explored.

Asphalt walkway with bike lane for like 5 miles of beach in Hollywood. Restaurants bars, Tiki bars with live entertainment and souvenir shops. Great for exercising, people watching, dining or partying.

This place was run down, very shady and not much to do with families at all. We ate at a couple restaurants because we were staying near by, none were good. One had a GIANT hair in the food. Way over priced
Along the beautiful Hollywood Florida beach is Hollywood's "Broadwalk." This boardwalk is paved and clean, a great place for a stroll or a bike ride. There is a part of the boardwalk reserved for bikes (be careful you do not drift into the bike lane and get brushed back by a speedy bicyclist). There are restaurants, ice cream shops, and souvenir shops along this boardwalk (the shops and restaurants are more concentrated at the southern end of the boardwalk; fewer shops as you go north). There is also a entertainment stage (near the the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort) with great live music in the evenings. Great place to spend the evening -- getting a bite to eat, listening to music, shopping, and watching people. If you are in Hollywood, Florida, this really is a must see attraction.
