Do all three of the activities, the zombie lab is awesome. Well worth the price. If you are here in the summer it is a great break from the heat.

By fscheys |

This was terrific. It's fun trying to identify the figures. My daughter did much better than I did. (Perhaps its a generational thing). Each movie star was set up with costume and scenery from a specific movie which we also guessed at.. As well, each had a card with a bit of trivia such as Nicole Kidman is deathly afraid of butterflies. There were also singers and political figures and even some personalities from my day..

The Hollywood Wax Museum actually has 3 attractions, the museum, a mirror maze and Outreach which is a scary trip through a zombie corridor.

While most of the wax figures are not recognizable without their nameplates, the use of props for interactive picture taking makes it fun. Make sure you take your camera.

As long as you do not panic, one is able to complete the mirror maze.

Outbreak is a scary trip through a corridor of zombies, supposedly created from a chemical spill. It is not for the faint of heart and has several “ emergency exits” if you need to bail out early. There are a couple of sections which are dark and you can see nothing.

Overall, a fun way to spend 1-1 1/2 hours on a rainy day

This was a nice place to visit to get out of the heat. We got there early and it wasn’t crowded. Took a ton of pictures. Kind of expensive since you are only there about an hour. Make sure to get a coupon booklet at your hotel or condo. We had coupons to help with the cost. My teens didn’t want to do the zombie or princess tours. That was not much extra. Overall fun with teens. Not sure how younger kids would like this place.

By George P |

We were very impressed with the quality of the statues. Most of them seemed alive! Staff was friendly and helpful. We saw so many stars! From Elvis and Sinatra to Bruno Mars! FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

By Sumo |

So we paid 124.00 to go see wax, smh lol. But it was ok, most of the wax figures were absurd lol, if these people really looked like this in person, they are 1. Very sick, 2. Need to eat, 3. All of Hollywood are aliens!!!! Bahahahaha

The Hall of mirrors was pretty fun for my 2 year old, and the haunted house or Zombie walk as I liked to call it made up for the “ok is it over yet” feeling in my soul, made it a little better lol. I liked the museum don’t get me wrong, but good lord i guess they have to charge what they do to stay open, and it is in a tourist town. So yeah what do i expect, right.

But ok if you haven’t been I recommend it if it’s raining and there is nothing else to do lol.

By Hollywood Norma |

We really had a beautiful time and my favorite was Star Trac, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars and 2Pac:)

By Trisha W |

Traveling In a group of 4 adults. It was raining when we got to myrtle beach so we needed something to do inside. This was alot of fun. Wax museum had alot of mannequins which had props you could use for pics. We also did the mirror maze and the zombie experience. They were both fun as well. The Zombie part does not have people that jump out at you. You are never touched. It's all dummies with a few things that make you jump.

By billyp576 |

The Wax museum was just ok but the castle of mirrors behind it was really good, so for the money it balances out and the 3d rides were also pretty cool

By 733mier |

Besides their wax celebrities they have a zombie room experience. It is pretty cool and considering no one touches you you will jump and be startled. If taking selfies with celebrities is your thing then this place is a must.

By Douglas M |

We have a great time took tons of photos it was a great rainy day activity. The self guided tour allows you to look take photos and enjoy. The only disappointing part was NO Elvis Presley that’s the one my daughter was wanting to see.

By Candyce |

I loved it even my 6 year, he didnt care for the zombie thing after the lady at the front told him it wasnt scary at all but he didnt like it at all but he loved the mirror and the celebrities will definitely go back to visit.

By bone999 |

We had a fun time with two elementary aged kids. While they did not know everyone, they knew enough. There was plenty to see across several generations. The kids enjoyed using the props left at most exhibits to take pictures. There was a laser exhibit where you try to climb around the lasers to push some buttons without breaking the beam. It was kind of like breaking into a bank vault with security lasers in the room. Excuse my spelling: They had the rock, John Cena, Lucille Ball, Prince, Alien and Preditor, Dracula, Dale Earnhardt and son, Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, the terminator, Ellen, Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Star Trek, silent film stars, and many many more.

By Melissa M |

I'm scared of mannequins and I was apprehensive at first, but I watched the YouTube videos and so I needed to see for myself. As soon as I entered I was nervous, but I pressed on. Glad I did, it was so much fun!! We were worried that my 5yr and 3yr nephews would be scared, but on the contrary they loved it!! They were attracted to the ladies it was quite amusing. They even put on the props and posed with some of the people. The entire family loved it and I would definitely return if I am in the area again. Yes slightly pricey, but worth it trust me!

By James M |

This was fun for everyone, we elected to go through all 3 museum events. Even the toddler enjoyed it!

By Danigirl1031 |

We had a great time with lots of laughs here. The props for photos were hilarious. My kids loves the free laser maze! Zombies part was cool! Mirror maze was fun too. Really enjoyed our time here!!

By eddie1 |

we were thrilled at how very real looking this exhibit was. you felt like they would reach out and touch you at any moment. this was very enjoyable to say the least.

By Klutaz |

There was some really good ones and some that was very bad like Mariah Carey she was cross eyed, lol it was a very fun experience and the haunted house was great. The ripley's mirror maze was better then this one.

By 01_review-01 |

I've been the the Hollywood in Pigeon Forge and honestly think its a little better than this location but this is still something fun and worth doing. I really enjoyed the mirror maze and zombie attack as much as the wax museum.

By Shaunecey J |

I had never been to a wax museum before and it was definitely a treat! To see the figures(some so very life like) was amazing! I took lots of pics. I would certainly go back again and take others with me.

By Deirdre Belton |

I came in with my job with brought some of our consumers in we all had a great time the staff was very courteous and helpful

By James C |

The wax were cool, the mirror maze was challenging (better than Ripley’s), and the Outbreak - Dread the Undead scared the crap out of me.

By computermama |

What a fun experience we had. Spent time in the wax museum playing with the props and taking many pictures and videos. So glad we stopped to take a picture of King Kong on the building and decided to go in and experience it.

By Bambi M |

Lots of figures and props to interact with. Something for the whole family to enjoy. I'm not sure who had more fun, the 8 y/o or the 60 y/o but it was a good time.

By Experienced |

Went when they first opened and most of the figures do not look anything like the real person! Walked out in 10 minutes

By donakc |

Great for all ages! You are welcomed to touch, pose, interact, and take pictures with the famous characters. Of course, the gift items are expensive but they have something for everyone.

By Rob R |

Awesome time! The kids and I (dad) loved it! Great price when you do the package with the Mirror of Mazes and the Zombie maze in the basement of the place. Really cool and would do it again. 100% recommend!

By Amanda E |

It took less then 20 minutes leisurely walking through the figures. We didnt upgrade to do the mirror attraction or the undead zone? But all in all definitely wasnt worth the money.. and several figures looked nothing like the person.

By Sheila M |

My daughter and I went to the Hollywood Wax Museum and had a blast! The wax figures have prop stations for pictures! This was the best thing we did on our first trip to Myrtle Beach. So much better than the other wax museums you go to where you can't get close to them. Highly recommend.

By Tasha B |

Great time by all! We purchased the all access pass...awesome!! A must see if your in the area...the wax museum is exceptional and fun! The mirror maze and haunted house was a great experience!!!

By David C |

A few of us went here and enjoyed it ... Spent a few hours in here... The characters were pretty life like ... Obviously some were better than others ... They are not behind ropes like some other places and you can pose with every one if I remember correctly

By MsK |

I was only in town for the day. I chose one section of the museum, due to time constraints. I truly enjoyed the Hollywood stars “red carpet “ walk.

By Brent R |

Fun place to visit. A lot of the wax figures are very life like but some didn’t look like the person at all we thought. The props were fun and the sets they had for each character was well thought out.

By Holmesdog |

So my daughter and I decided to go to this place. I definitely recommend getting the all-access pass if you want to do all three activities. The wax museum was fun, especially with all the props that you can wear to get selfies with the celebs. I would say about half of the wax figures really looked like the person, the other half was so-so.
The mirror maze was cute, definitely geared toward younger children. The zombie outbreak is geared toward older kids. It wasn't too scary. If you don't like loud noises and having to walk a section through the complete dark, you should probably skip it.

By Debbie S |

I was happy with the number of stars they had at the wax museum. Very nice place. It was fun for the family of all ages including seniors.

By Mfrisbee1998 |

Not Covid friendly! We went on a Thursday and thankfully we got there early because the amount of people who they allow in was very difficult to socially distance. The line to pay was the only area where it was marked. The hallways of the museum are just too narrow and it was difficult for us to take a picture without blocking the walkway or having someone walk through the shot. Then the gift shop where everyone has to walk through to leave was tiny! I got so nervous with the amount of people in line and walking through that we left and didn’t buy anything. The kids loved it but as a parent trying to stay safe it wasn’t ideal!

By Bill P |

Had an hour to kill and gave it a try. Pretty good job creating replica of a lot of famous folks. They have props arranged throughout the museum to use if you want pictures of yourself posed with the celebrities. Really cool laser maze in 2nd floor. Not cheep but I thought it was worth it.

By Hamiltonjoe1950 |

Went there with two of our adult sons the day after Thanksgiving. We all had a very enjoyable time.

Wax Museum: my favorite part. Great that they have props with which you can pose with the figures and take as many photos as you like.

Mirror maze: it was interesting and fun.

Outbreak: it was ok and our sons enjoyed it more than my wife and I but we’ve never followed any of the zombie genre.

Overall, it was excellent and worth the price which included a $7 discount for the all access pass due to the wife & I being local.

By Mommaofboysx2 |

I visit these locations in every city I go to if there is one! I absolutely love them and I love that they added props! Customer service was great, and there was a vip package we got to do as well with a mirror maze and a zombie land.

By Carol H |

Went in here because I had so much fun at the Madame Tussauds in Washington DC. While this was good, it was not as cool at the one in DC. We had a good time posing with some of the famous folks here!!

By Aprilk564 |

I am not sure why they would not take cash, but it just lost customers when I am sure they could use the business!

By pugsjhpugs |

My sister and I went through this today and had so much fun!! We laughed so hard!! Some of the wax figures looked so much like the real person, but some didn’t....but regardless a great experience!!

By Stephanie H |

Our family had a great time!! Loved the mirror maze and the haunted part too. It was a return trip for our family, we were there the first year it opened. The Wax museum has made good choices for new people.

By Ken D |

Never realized how short some of the stars are this place has everybody you can think of. really cool place for any age

By Donna J |

We ended up walking through the Hollywood Wax Museum, Outbreak Dread the Undead, and the Maze of Mirrors. It was a blast.

By John C |

It was fun and we really enjoyed. Price was fair and easy to find and close to our room. and other activities.

By Frog |

We went early in the morning so had plenty of time to enjoy and use the props. Access pass is the best way to go so you can take advantage of the Outbreak & Mirror Maze as well. Mirror maze great for young kids; Outbreak could be upsetting to young children. Get tickets online.

By fusion818 |

The museum was surprisingly fun and great for the family. The mirror maze attraction was also fun for the kids, and for the adults, the outbreak attraction was quite thrilling. Worth visiting when in the Myrtle Beach area.

By Ki D |

From the time we entered and left the staff was awesome! Very friendly and welcoming, not to mention informative. Would highly recommend!

By Journey03903818439 |

It was a great experience, honestly more of a blast for myself and my teenage daughter. Highly recommend for teens and adults, however the mirror maze would be great for younger kids.

By pipesnvocals |

First museum i've been to that allows you to get up close to the statues and take pictures with props. Only went the through the Wax Museum not the other areas. Was told a different price prior to tax when arrived than what is shown on website. Was told it must have been a private 3rd party advertiser selling the tickets for them giving them cheaper. Check around for the prices you might get it cheaper than at the actual place.

By Fantastic4Tees |

I’m afraid of statues but this wasn’t creepy at all. The statues are well done and actually look like the celebs. The themes are fun! We had blasts!!! Looking forward to going again!!

By Skyracer2014 |

Nice wax museum. Kids will love it. They have props as well to pose with the artists. Bundle it with Mirror Maze as well as Escape.

By Karen M |

What do you do on a rainy night? Head to the Wax Museum! We chose to do the 3 attraction ticket, as it was the most practical for your money. My husband used all the props and got into fun poses with the wax figures. We had a lot of laughs. Most of the figures were pretty good, but there were a few that were super sketchy. We then did the house of mirrors. It was crazy! I would not want to get stuck in there…such anxiety. I think we found our way out totally by accident. Last, we did the zombie haunt. I have to admit, even though it was animatronics, I did scream a few times. I thought we would be at the museum longer, but we saw everything and left after about an hour.

By Tomg5617 |

While some of the characters were not close look a likes, some were very good. Had a lot of fun taking pictures next to the wax duplicates.

By pamgriest72 |

This is my second time coming here, and I totally love it (even though they did get rid of some of my favorites). Most of the wax figures look like the actual person. I love how the wax figures are out in the open, and even how some have props (like hats, etc...), so you can pose with them. I would definitely recommend this place!

By Lynne B |

We don't have a wax museum anywhere near us so we had to check it out. It was fun to see all of the celebrities. I will say that some of them were amazing but there were also some that I wasn't able to recognize (even though I'm familiar with who they are). Still a fun thing to do on a rainy day or to cool down.

By Paula6155 |

We went to the location and found it to be too expensive on arrival. To many options for too many additional fees. Not family priced.

By Cecia G |

We are locals and finally got to take our son for part of his birthday. We had such a great time. Take your time and actually enjoy seeing and reading everything. The mirror maze was quick, but it was still enjoyable. The Zombie Breakout was what my son looked forward to, but he was so scared to death he almost didn’t do it. We loved everything about this place. Great gift shop, and you will really want to buy your pictures at the end. They do a great job! All the employees were really nice and helpful also from start to finish. I totally recommend going!

By Ashlei S |

The museum has many actors and has a great path to follow leading you through the multi level building. It is worth the money just to stay cool and entertained with the props. The initial picture you take with King Kong when you first arrive is also a great feature. The only down fall I would have to say is likeness of the wax figures some of them looked nothing like the person represented.I would go back though because it was very entertaining.

By blondie2222 |

this was our first time there-and we had a blast!! from my 6 yr old son up to and including my teenage girls -and me! The props were so cool-the kids enjoyed hamming it up and being a part of it-we took tons of pictures. The only downside was the zombie thing-my 6 yr old lasted 2 minutes there. we would def go back again

By Andrea E |

We laughed and laughed. You can take pictures with each exhibit and they have props to put on. I am so glad we went! It is a lot of fun!

By DayTrip12710735110 |

These old geezers had a blast!!!! We laughed and smiled throughout the whole display. You were able to get up close and personal with the wax figures and take lots of pictures. They even have props hanging that you can use and wear for the photos. I was afraid it would be kinda stupid but to be honest all four of us had so much fun.

By Kathie M |

I wasn’t sure what to expect but it turned out to be lots of fun. We posed with several figures using the props which made the whole experience- otherwise I doubt we would have enjoyed it. Many of the wax figures look nothing like who they’re suppose to be - so if it weren’t for being able to wear the props and act like fools we would have been highly disappointed. The zombie thing isn’t scary either - would not recommend it. The mirror maze is okay - maybe more fun for younger kids - this is something I would do if you run out of things to do or have extra free time and want a good laugh.

By macmen75 |

It is quite the experience to see all the wax figures of famous people. My wife loved it, but I thought it was just okay, as it was too pricey!

By Louise P |

My husband and I had a great time at the Wax Museum. We took lots of pictures. This was our first time going.

By Kim B |

We all had a lot of fun, more than we expected actually! Worth going for.sure!

Do not bring small children into.the undead section, but fun for older children and adults.

By Ke' |

Many figures to see! The set-up was amazing even the music behind certain wax figures. Rihanna they could do better ! The family and I enjoyed ourselves 100%. We also did the other two attractions: mirror maze and OUTBREAK. I recommend all three attractions and stay the full day! Take your time no rush!

By mrsclean2016 |

Very fun time ! A little crowded so watch the times you go. Props could probably be more things that you could wipe off maybe they could even have wipes available. I wouldn’t touch any props. But over all not bad.

By charmaineshannon |

Such an Exciting Museum, Hands On Scenes and Exhibits are Fantastic !! Travelers Tip , Get a Coupon Booklet { they are everywhere and Free} Buy the Combo Pass and you get 3 attractions in the Same Building !! Tons of Fun for every Age ....

By Eataroundwoburn |

We visited the museum on a Saturday and it was not crowded. The figures they have and the way they allow you to take photos is great. They have props such as hats, jackets and glasses of booze that can be used with various characters. We have been to many a wax museum and this one is one of the best.
It is well laid out ...awesome place .. I highly recommend a visit

By Corkals |

Took my mom for the first time and we had a blast!! Some of the wax figures have props that you can wear!! One thing I would recommend is that they clean the props more often... some of them smelled kinda funky.

By Blp |

A little pricey so look for discounted tickets if you can. We loved the props you can use to take pictures with the celebrities! The Zombie outbreak was a blast. A little scary if you have really young kids.

By Me T |

We purchased the all access pass and did all four attractions. Definitely the best way to spend a rainy day. There is pretty much something to do for every age range.

By Matt P |

Took 2 adults and 2 teenagers all of them had fun. All of them were taking selfies with the various famous people in there. All of them said Hollywood Wax Museum was so fun. They loved seeing all the different celebrities made out of wax it's a amazing sight.

By Debbie B |

It’s a cool place, but the actual figures are all the same size just about. It’s not like the one in Manhattan when they are the actual size of the celebrities. Also the props, Which are clothes, Need to be washed. The zombie exhibit leaves something to be desired and the house of mirrors. I just walked out of that one did not even completed and don’t know if it’s worth the all access pass. The pictures are overpriced as well. Glad I did it though.

By Explore24882822103 |

The front desk staff were exceptional. Explained every option of what to see. We went through the Wax Museum which was a lot of fun and full of interesting facts about the stars. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Myrtle Beach!

By Dotty M |

Had a blast in the wax museum took lots of pics and used some of the props that was there for us to use. Also went through the mirror maze just know that the lights in that thing could mess a person up especially if they have epilepsy. My son in law went through the break out part and loved it, Everyone was tired when we left but enjoyed it a lot.

By Jake B |

My fiancé and I went as a quick one last thing before we hit the road back up North. We throughly enjoyed all the different wax figures and picture opportunities. What I thought would be a 30 minute thing was over an hour of fun. I would give 5 stars but the props you can wear are definitely out used by the hundreds of people that come through. I definitely wouldn’t place a hat on but other than that it is a nice adventure if you’re looking for something fun to do with the family. I would definitely come back to try the mazes.

By Susan S |

This is such a fun place to go. The figures look so real and you are able to take tons of pictures. Would recommend.

By Larry |

Hard to describe for me. Lots of wax figures of famous people. Very accurate likenesses. They have costume items for you to pose with with the figures.

By brossi421 |

We had a great time at the Hollywood wax museum . It was very interesting and the celebrity’s looked almost identical .

By Carolyn S |

It was a enjoyable way to spend the afternoon with the kids we really liked all the way people and opportunities to pose with them

By susie b |

No matter what age you are, this was a wonderful experience, they have all the old stars and the latest stars. We had a great time taking photos, with trying on all the props. We took videos as well, with getting dressed up and the music playing, we had so much to show our family when we came home, lots of laughter. Well worth the ticket price!

By susanmmc2018 |

We had a fun time taking pictures with the wax figures and putting on props a lot of laughs would recommend this to do.

By Heather M |

I did not have high expectations for the wax museum, but my kids had begged 2 years in a row to go. I am really glad we did it. Everyone had a great time. There were a ton of fun props and you could pose with the figures. It took us about 1 1/2 hours for the tour. A lot of the men were right on, but some of the women were hard to tell the celebrity until I read the description.

By DLF4 |

I was a little shocked at the cost of admission $75 for 3 of us but I have to say it was a fun time for all.

There is a good mix of older and newer stars to please all ages. Some were done much better than others but trying to guess who was who before reading about them was half the fun.

They encourage you to take pictures and most statues had props to use that added even more enjoyment.

This was the second visit for some in our group but those who had been two years ago noticed many new figures so that was an added bonus.

All in all, it was a fun hour and a half that gave us all a little fun break from the heat.

By Kathy B |

Great event. Three great things to go through. The lab was very scary. Almost went out. Wax figures good likeness. Mostly contemporary stars and singers.

By Pamesme |

This wax museum is unique because you get to stand next to the actual figures and have your picture taken. However, many of the figures did not look like the actual stars. The wax figure of Jennifer Lawrence was horrible!

By Bonnie and Rich |

We loved it...worth the ticket! Be sure to bring your camera. We were amazed at how many people were in it! All very life like. We had a good time for 2 seniors.

By Damian S |

We enjoyed the wax museum. It was a good 1 hr checking out the wax figures. The zombie outbreak was very cool, short but we loved it! Great time!

By Beverly B |

Our entire family had so much fun. Some of us got there a little earlier and purchased our tickets ahead of the group. The staff was nice enough to apply our group discount once the other members of the group showed up. There was enough fun for both younger family members as well as the old ones. The Snoop Dog and Martha Stewart set up was a family favorite!

By Money |

Great fun for the entire family. My favorite was the zombie escape!! Staff is super friendly!! I would have given 5 stars if they had more wax figures. My favorite was cardi B

By Nikki F |

This was my first wax museum visit and I was really impressed! There were alot of wax figures and I loved the way they had them set up throughout the museum. The gift shop at the end has alot of goodies too. Fun time!

By Steve T |

Went ti the Hollywood Wax museum on a rainy day. Was o good option given the weather. Went as a family outing and had a good time, Outbreak dread the dead was a lot of fun but did scare my 9 year old daughter. I recommend buying the combo ticket

By SCTraveler2010 |

I went to this with low to medium expectations, based on prior experiences with other tourist attractions in the area. I do love a tourist attraction, but Ripley's soured me on the mass-produced franchised attraction. So I'll say that when I bought my ticket and they immediately upsold me on a mirror maze and zombie encounter, I assumed my expectations were met. But everything was well worth it. The additional encounters added a total of five bucks, and as I'll explain later, you want to do those.

The museum itself is great. It's all Hollywood themed, natch, and the figures range from pretty good to amazingly accurate. One great benefit is that they aren't roped off. You can take really close pictures, stand next to them, hold the furnished props to add to the pictures, and really get in close and examine. The theming around the figures is really good as well. Music, backgrounds, it all adds to the experience.

The mirror maze was one of the best I've seen. It's couched in some hokey "save the princess" plot, but when you get to the maze, you'll go through something that's so far beyond a state fair or carnival ride you won't believe it. It's incredibly well-done, and so intricate you may get claustrophobic from being unable to escape. Don't worry, there are emergency exits.

The zombie encounter was something else as well. Be warned, it is LOUD!!! And lots of jump scares. I don't want to give much away, but the plot is essentially Resident Evil-esque. You're in a lab that manufactured a supersoldier serum that goes wrong. Blah blah, lots of zombies.

So enjoy the Hollywood part, but make sure to spend a little more and do the other options. Unless you scare easily.

By Amanda D. |

Great fun for the whole family, really unique that they provide props for you to take pictures with wax figures, makes it 10x more fun!

By dmacnmi |

It was one of our money grabber spots while on vacation. We were in and out in well under an hour, which was a bummer considering the expense. It was fun to see a lot of variety in celebrities and props to complete the scene. We took a lot of fun pictures. Friendly staff.

By Z3522JAgaryc |

We loved the props and that you could take photos with the stars. The haunted house was awesome. We had a lot of fun.
The downside was that a lot of the stars did not look quite like themselves.

By Patricia W |

This is a must go to see and do. It is so much fun for adults and families. Worth every penny. They have props to take pics with also and a must do for everyone.

By Astipup |

First I have to say it is an excellent time to visit, 80’s weather, sun not to strong, but the best part is NO lines- anywhere! The streets are open and you can part right at the attractions.

We had fun taking selfies, using the provided costumes and props. We had the place to ourselves so the exhibit was great to view. I would recommend as most looked very realistic, especially the eyes.

By Lisa |

Some statues are really great and some are just terrible in my opinion. The ones that really look like the star really looke like them. There is a monster section but there are warning signs for kids not to enter. Also as an Elvis fan, I dont understand why the only statue of Elvis is behind a soda counter dressed as a soda jerk? But overall it is something different to do but a little pricey. The staff was very nice

By JJOHN77700 |

It seemed a bit pricey. It was interesting we did the museum and the mirror maze. It was a good time. I don't think I'd do it again but it's a great spot on a bad wether day.

By Marla M |

We had a great time at the museum (some of the characters didn't look like themselves) to the haunted attraction to the maze of mirrors attraction. We almost gave up on the maze of mirrors but finally figured it out. All in all it was a lot of fun!

By Charles M |

My wife and I enjoyed this attraction. You can save a few dollars by picking up a free coupon book..

By sofa-57 |

You've seen one, you've seen them all applies here. It was a bit pricey for what there was. We were disappointed. We wouldn't return. Basically you are walking around looking at what is supposed to be wax replicas of famous people. We couldn't figure out who some were supposed to be and many of the statues were what people were like several years ago. We had to read the "Sign" to see the name. Most of the signs had interesting information about the person. They did have props and hats that you could use to stand next to statue and take photos (if you weren't concerned with germs or lice).

By Cryptic_Tourist |

Our family had the museum to ourselves basically and we had a nice visit on Thanksgiving day - was fun to take photos and explain to my godchildren who all the celebrities were! The staff was very friendly and we had a great time.

By FAVORED |

It's definitely worth a visit. I would recommend it to singles, couple's and families alike. I can't wait to visit again.

By Brian G |

Wax museum was awesome. Wax figures looked really life-like. Also the mirror maze and haunted attraction was excellent. Was well worth the money. Highly recommended!

By jassyp101 |

This was a wonderful museum with so many life like wax statues. You could take photos with them and they even had props you could use. They also had a haunted house and hall of mirrors that was fun. I’m still not sure how we managed to get out of the hall of mirrors.

By Margaret V |

A must do in Myrtle beach . Very well done and worth the price . Definitely do the combo ticket for the extra 5 dollars.

By lisa f |

My husband and I drove with our 16yr old and one of his friends, from Massachusetts. My husband and I went to the bar by the pool and met a couple and we were talking about going to the wax museum, well they said they would like to go and needless to say we went and left the 2boys playing video games in the room. We had an amazing time. There are 3 attractions in one building. I think it was well worth the money.

The Haunted house downstairs was unexpected surprise and it's scary! Love it. Will be returning. The mirror maze was great for the kid's.

By Elbert H |

The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the wax figures was realistic. Enjoyed the props for visitors to use for taking pictures with the wax figures.

The mirror maze was alot of fun to try and get yourself out.

My girlfriend and I just recently went to Myrtle Beach 🏖️ and decided to go to the wax museum. We paid the $40 (a little less) a piece for the three attractions (wax museum, house of mirrors, and horror attraction). The total for the two of us was like $79 and change. All of it was amazing. The wax museum had tons of celebrities in it. My gf and I took countless photos in there. Lol. The house of mirrors was creepy and hard to get out of, of course. And lastly, the horror attraction. That one scared the crap out of me and my girlfriend 😂. It all was fun though. 🤣

By Elizabeth D |

We were in this museum for 4 hours! That's how much there was to see. These figures were not up to Madame Tussaud's standards, but were still very interesting to look at and inspect. We really liked the attention to detail on the costumes. The big piano keyboard was fun. There were props for photo ops. My absolute favorite part was the corridor devoted to horror movie villains! They had Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Ghostface, Leatherface, Dracula... Lots of fun! Also, the box office staff were super happy and friendly, especially Miranda. :)

By albm1967 |

The wax figures are realistic and you can take as long as you like in the museum. They supply props for photo's with some of the stars which is fun.

By Barbara N |

My grand children loved it. It was something for them to do on a day when swimming was not an option.

By Penny K |

Great way to spend time with family and friends. You can spend hours at the museum. We was here during hurricane Debby. We also got the all access passes which allows you to go to the other attractions.

By Holger K |

We went to the museum at late afternoon und were nearly alone inside.
So we had enough time to visit all the V.I.P. s .
We missed no one of the movie stars.

By BayouBoy613 |

Took my daughter for a Daddy~Daughter day and enjoyed the museum. We liked the props they had to take pictures.

By mlicon |

We didn't plan to go here but on a rainy day when we couldn't hit the beach, we decided to check it out. I'm glad we did! It was a lot of fun and even my teenage enjoyed it. Worth the money. We took lots of fun pictures.

By Nika A |

Hollywood Wax Museum was so fun. We saw different celebrities made out of wax it's a amazing sight. Hannah maze of mirrors was also a fun maze me and my husband enjoyed and had lots of laughs while going through the maze. The Zombie break out room my husband finished but I couldn't. I just don't like scary at all lol. You get too do all 3 for a price for 35 dollars and it's very worth your money.

By Jennifer H |

Enjoyed the bundle of the wax figures, zombies, and mirrors. My 8 year was terrified of the zombies so he didn’t attend (which is unlike him but this one freaked him out). Some of the figures need updating as some didn’t resemble the artist( I.e. Carrie Underwood, Bradley Cooper, Matthew Mcconaughey). Overall it was fun and very entertaining.

By jalumpa |

This museum is not worth the money. You will probably go through this in about an hour. Make the most of it. Try on the props and take pictures with the wax statues. The outside is more eye catching than the inside.

By Jodi H |

We enjoyed this wax museum better than any we have ever been to before. This one is interactive. You can pose with your favorite legends & stars any way you like, ex. Hugging, kissing, fighting, screaming etc... it’s a lot of fun. Most of the wax figures are very good replicas, but a few not as good. But don’t let that cause you not to go. You can even get in bed with Hugh Hefner if you’d like to! They also had Preditor, Alien, & others like that from the movies so it’s not just people.

By Jessica Boyce |

We went to the wax museum with my mom and sister while they were visiting in town. We bought the ticket to do all three attractions that they have on site: the wax museum, the mirror maze, and the zombie walk through. The wax museum was awesome with tons of photo ops and props, so it really depends on your personality. You create your own fun. The mirror maze was actually really good, and it is very easy to get lost in there; so bring someone with directional skills. The zombie walk through was pretty good, my sister who is 13 was quite scared. Her being overly dramatic with her scared made it more fun; so bring someone who spooks easily. Overall, I would say it was a good time, but be prepared for the price. Even for locals it is a bit expensive.

By Tonya M |

I love this place so much everything was great! Will definitely go back this summer with my family and I will tell everyone I know that's going to check them out!

By Zachary T |

My Mom and I had a really great time at the wax museum and we love it. The staff members were nice. All the wax figures are remarkable.

By Ken N |

I unfortunately did not get the combo tickets. I wanted to but some in the group were not up for it. I would have enjoyed going to the zombie outbreak from what I heard about it.

Anyway onto the museum. It was bigger then I had expected, guess it helps since it is more then one floor. Also do not worry if you do not want to walk steps they do have an elevator. From what I understand from people who have been there they do change the figures every once in awhile. Took lots of pictures and they also have props with certain figures.

Do not expect totally life like. While some we done very good, some I would not have figured out without reading the signs. That is the reason I can not give it 5 stars. Definitely worth a visit, but go for the combo if you can it is only $5.00 more to see the zombies and house of mirrors, I wish I could have.

By Barb W |

If you ever dreamed of getting close to the celebs, the Hollywood Wax Museum gives you a fun opportunity to take some great selfies with your favorite actors and music stars. Most of the figures are so life-like, it's truly fascinating to see.

I particularly loved that there were props available to enhance your photos, truly putting you into the scene of iconic film moments. There's also a variety of options like being able to sit down with Ellen on the set of her show or hanging out at a soda shop bar with Elvis, James Dean and others. You can really create some awesome photos for Instagram, vacation keepsakes or even to hang on your wall as conversation pieces in your home.

The Hollywood Wax Museum has two full floors of wax figures and photo stations. You can easily spend a good hour or more having fun and snapping some great photos, making this an ideal rainy day activity.

The best value is to do all three attractions in the building. For a few dollars more than the price of admission to the wax museum, you can also participate in two additional activities houses in the basement of the building: Hannah's Maze of Mirrors and Outbreak - Dread the Undead. The Maze of Mirrors is a little more "tame" than the Outbreak zombie experience, so do keep that in mind if you have young children with you.

We easily got lost in the Maze of Mirrors but if you do and can't make it out, there are several exits you can take that will bring you right back to the beginning. (Note: If you have some fear of heights, do know that there are two spots in the maze that may be challenging for you.) It was, overall, though a very interesting experience!

I was on a girlfriend "getaway" weekend when we visited so it was really the perfect experience for this type of vacation. We had a ball hanging out with the celebs and capturing candid photos.

There's a fun gift shop with all kinds of Hollywood memorabilia to buy and the opportunity to purchase a photo of your party trapped in King Kong's hand. You'll take this photo on your way into the museum.

The Hollywood Wax Museum is near plenty of other shopping and entertainment activities so you can make an entire day out of spending time in the area. The attraction has a dedicated parking lot making it very convenient to visit.

By Stephen L |

There were so many wax figures that it was incredible. Be sure to get the all access ticket. The hall of mirrors and the outbreak areas are just as fun. A definite stop on your vacation plans.

By Gina B |

This place is amazing. You'll meet "The Biebs" along with many more stars and then travel trough an awesome maze of lights and mirrors and the really brave can go below and be scared by the zombie's. A must do if you are in the area.

By Michael S |

Great place, worth the money, do all 3 attractions, wax, haunt and mirror maze in this building, all are great fun!

By Carla T |

I had so much fun putting on props and taking photo's with the celebrities, enjoyed the mirror maze.

By Rizzo305 |

Large museum with lots of "celebrities." Two floors with a lot to see. They have fun prop stations to take pictures with the actors. Some look a lot like the actors and a few did not.

By alfrulz |

We went here and got the all access pass. Was definitely worth it. My kids loved the wax museum. They used the props to take pictures with. The mirror maze is shorter than others but still fun. The outbreak haunted house I can’t really judge because my youngest got scared right at the beginning so didn’t see much. My oldest son said it was pretty cool though.

By James Caldwell |

My wife and I got the combination ticket and had a wonderful morning. The Wax Museum was recent not old like some that we have been to. New celebrities were part of the people as well as some of he older stars. They were presented in sets so that you could take pictures with them They have a great mirror maze to do. It was challenging. There was also a zombie themed maze to escape from.

By Maria D |

The wax museum was awesome would definitely go back. Great for pictures. Lots to do love the props. Definitely takes the kids. Or go as a couple it’s for everyone.

By Karen F |

My son and I had a few hours to kill while the rest of the family golfed.
Most all the figures were fairly accurate. It was interesting to read the bios and take picture with the props.
We did the 3 way package. The hall of mirrors was a riot as we were a little lost for awhile. Funny tho.
The zombie trip was just fair.
All in all is was a very good time.
The staff was extremely pleasant too.

My husband and I had visited another wax museum in CA and this one was so much better. Our family enjoyed our stroll thru Hollywood. My 4 year old really enjoyed posing and taking photos!

By 3363395663 |

Amazing time!!! My children and I enjoyed the entire museum from the wax figures, the Mirror Maze, and the Outbreak Dread the Dead tour!! Everything was so realistic!! This is something that any age group could truly enjoy!!!

By Marvin L |

Took my wife and we did the "All Access Pass". The wax museum was worth it since there were plenty of rooms to walk through (wear comfortable sneakers). The Mirror maze was ok, but that was expected. The "outbreak attraction" scared my wife a couple of times, so it was worth it, lol. Overall a great experience.

By kimberly13066 |

I was a bit disappointed. I didn't think the statues looked like the celebrities. I did enjoy the facts about them. We also did the mirror maze which was fun and the zombie maze... didn't care for that....very poorly done...so fake.

By Tori H |

We took our two toddlers (2&4), and they were totally spooked by most of the figures, but they warmed up eventually. My husband is a movie buff and had a great time! It's a bit expensive, because we did everything (Zombie outbreak and mirror maze included) in under 45 minutes, and we weren't rushing. We took pictures with most of the figures, we perused the small gift shop.

My husband liked Zombie Outbreak, and said it was 6/10 on scare-factor. Our girls did enjoy the mirror maze, and I thought it was really cute.

By Cheri T |

I'm a shutterbug so when I realized you could take pics with the exhibits, I was all in! Tons of photo ops with the stars and there were even costume accessories/props to use in the photos. My 11 year old and 72 year old mom both enjoyed it too. The Zombie Outbreak experience was too intense for the 11 year old and she bailed out of one of the emergency exits after just a minute or two, but I held out and it felt as though you were actually IN a Zombie movie! We all enjoyed the mirror maze as well.

By MytleLovers |

This is must visit place when you have chance to go to myrtle beach with your family. All wax dolls are exactly made like famous movie star or singer. We took lots of picture with them. It was fun to visit here.

By dmdenny512 |

It was fun to be able to see figures up close. Some were very lifelike where others not so much. It didn't feel like a wasted trip but I wouldn't go back, at least not for what we paid.

By Devereaux L |

If you visit this time of year, you will pretty much have the place to yourself. This means you’ll have more time with each figure and props.

The parking lot is large and free.

We got the package that included tickets for the wax museum, the hall of mirrors and the zombie experience. I don’t remember exactly what the last two are called.

The wax part of the trip was really cool. Even if some of the figures didn’t look like the celebrities, it was still a cool setup.

After the wax museum we went downstairs to the hall of mirrors. We did not like it at all. If you’re a little claustrophobic or have any type of sensory concerns, that thing is not for you. You start off by going into a spinning tunnel with disorienting lights. That’s not so bad, it’s just a serious optical illusion. Then you get to the mirrors. I’m sure many people enjoy the thrill of trying to escape but boyfriend and I were not down with it. We felt trapped and overwhelmed and ended up backtracking to go back to the start and exit early.

After that we wussed out and didn’t even bother with the zombie part after we realized there were live actors in there waiting to scare us.

So if you wanna have a good time ‘meeting’ celebrities, def go for the wax museum. If you scare easy, are claustrophobic, or just don’t like optical illusions, pass on the mirror and zombie experiences.

By Kathryn L |

We purchased the all access pass that included the wax museum, Outbreak- Dread the Undead, and Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors. The wax museum allowed us to take lots of pics with our favorite stars and provided fun props to use in pictures with them. The Outbreak had humans that turned into shining blue eyed zombies. I did some major screaming and scooting thru that area. The mirrored maze was quite the challenge. We were lost in there for what seemed like all afternoon but we refused to leave through the emergency doors or call for help. All three attractions were quite fun and I recommend all except the Outbreak one that would not be for young kids and those with heart problems.

By Mike W Love |

Went a couple of years ago. It's great family fun. Typical touristy price. Take your time and take lots of pictures.

By Cathie F |

My five year old enjoyed playing dress up and posing for pix
"look for prop sign you can put them on" and pose

By Naé S. |

My family enjoyed themselves at Hollywood Wax Museum Myrtle Beach. I highly recommend this place. We had a great experience at all three attractions. Be ready to take a lot of pictures and enjoy yourself!

By nicolemarie91 |

Wax figurines of all your favorite celebs. Did the zombie outbreak and maze exhibit - worth the try! The zombie outbreak was fun and scary. The maze exhibit had acute plot to it. Would recommend. A bit expensive but cool!

By 5cindy |

This place is amazing. We had so much fun using the props and posing with our favorite stars. Even our teenage son enjoyed it.

By Tim R |

Very great experience, plenty of props for fun photo opportunities. Staff was extremely friendly as well

By Heather P |

This was pretty neat. It's a little pricey but our resort had a free coupon so we just had to pay for one ticket. It is exactly as I expected. Lots of famous people and even figures from scary movies you can take pictures with. We had a good time. Not something you can do over and over but fun for a couple of hours.

By MarKayla J |

Omg I had an amazing time here. The wax figures and props was nice . A couple favorites their. But let me tell you about the 2nd part of the all access pass. It had like a haunted house that was actually really really scary.! I think I might of cried before I made it out because of fear lmao. Than to end the scary part with a mirror maze that was soooo much fun, if you split up when you enter. I loved it and it’s a must do when you come to myrtle beach .

By Zack S. |

While not all the wax figures were spot on, this is an excited and fun filled place to visit in Myrtle beach. They let you take your picture with them and provide you with a very pleasurable and safe experience, even with COVID. While a few wax figures could have been a bit better, the majority of them were spot on!

By stephanier76 |

We actually visited here in 2017. Such a fun place to take our kids. Even my little one had a blast. Our teens thought it was hysterical. We enjoyed all of it

By Michael L |

This was a lot more than we thought just did the museum but worth the time. You can pose with the figures and use the props for your pictures.

By Ryan B |

To be completely honest I originally was not remotely interested in a wax museum but was my wife made me and I do not regret going. It was a lot more fun than I could have expected. The figures are really well done and there are so many. I would recommend anyone to check it out. Well worth the money and the other attractions were great. I really was surprised at the mirror maze and the zombie haunted house was awesome.

By extex |

Museum is a nice size, not too big. The wax figures were ok, but only a few of them actually are good likenesses. We had to check the signs many times to figure out who the statues were. We were in and out in under 30 minutes, including a walk through their store.

By Nisha |

We had a great time at the wax museum. Get the all access pass. The other 2 pieces are even more fun!

By joe m |

i was here once then another time i flew right by it in a helicopter tour its very fun here and i also recommend Ripley's believe it or not

By John K |

Awesome staff great experience. Staff was great and the facility was well maintained. Covid policy followed to the tee!

By Diane S |

We had so much fun. The mirror and zombie room were the best. Went with brother and sisters as family reunion. We are all older adults. Highly recommend.

By Beach2013-STK |

I loved it our 1st time going it was educational and informational. We purchased the all access pass. Pricey but worth it to see everything. We toke a lot of pictures and the mirror maze was interesting

By Mary K |

In the back of everyone's mind there is one thought when entering a wax museum, "Oh God what if one of them isn't actually wax." We have all thought it and for some it makes jumping out from around corners all the better. I will say that the figures in this museum are pretty good for the celebrities they are molded after. There are very few that seemed to have missed the mark entirely. A couple times I found myself needing to read the "about" information on the stand before I was able to recognize the stars. As a credit to the museum, they do have a very good selection of stars. The figures range from Dolly Parton to HellBoy. It is very easy to find something or someone for everyone. The cost of the museum is around $20.00 per person for just the one attraction however if you would like to experience their other two walk-throughs (a mirror maze or a zombie lab) you can add $5.00 to the price and have a little more fun. If you are staying in a local hotel or go to a visitors center you can even get a coupon to reduce the price per person by 2 or 3 dollars. I highly recommend visiting your favorite stars and striking a pose!

By Roger B |

Really a fun place to visit. Some of the figures are spot on, others not so much, still a fun time.. use coupons.

By Kane M |

The kids wanted to go here so we went. They had fun looking at all the figures but we're talking $100 for a family of 4 to do this. You must wear a mask to enter but you can take it off for pictures then put it back on. The staff was extremely wonderful. Some of the figures are incredible looking. Dale Sr., Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson are examples of the good ones. Then some you would never know who they were because it looks nothing like them. Overall we did it once to say we've done it but wouldn't do it again just based on ticket prices.

By Ronderrick P |

This is an awesome place!check with your hotel they may offer perks. We bought one and got one free. Most of the wax statues were lifelike. We enjoyed taking pictures

By Vonya J |

This is our 2nd time visiting this museum, the cashiers are a little pushy trying to get you to buy different passes then what you asked for. The photo lady is a little rushy in taking the pictures. Some of the replicas are good and some needs a do over, but it’s fun

By PaulBeve |

Did Wax Museum only. Good rainy day adventure in December. Little pricey as everything is in a tourist trap type of town. Being December, very few other people there which made it great. Took the time to takes lots of pictures with available props. Quality of wax figures are hit or miss. Some were spot on such as Clint Eastwood others were pretty bad, William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, not too good.

By Yvonne L |

I really enjoyed my time at the museum. I saw some of my favorite star. But I would like to suggest a few add on to the bunch like IDRIS ELBA, and JEFF GORDON and also MICHAEL JORDON (The bulls # 23), Please.

By Ayanna F |

If i could rate this a 10/10 i definitely would!!!!

Wax figures: I enjoyed the wax figures took hilarious pictures with my family.

Mirror Maze: Definitely got lost in here! The illusions are good. It was low key scary because you will see people but nobody would be there. if you separate from your group, good luck trying to figure out if you seeing a mirror or the actual person lol

Scary Maze Thingy: NIEEEE THISSS!!! When i say it had me and my family screaming and falling! From one zombie girl popping up in different scare hiding spots to the animatronics were just AWESOME! If a video was in there recording i know for a fact the employees would've been laughing hard!😂

Worth the money!!!

By waynepat |

It was a thrill to go in this museum and stand next to these lifelike people. I took a picture of my sister in a wedding gown standing next to George Clooney. I took a picture of my husband and Bruce Lee. There were so many wax figures in there that you can spend a substantial amount of time. It was well worth the cost of admission.

By DEBRA D |

We had a good time. They have props so you can pose with the figures. They were fun, but if it is really busy, this slows everything down a lot. The people in front of us put on the props and took pics at EVERY figure. Some of the figures were so bad that we had to read the sign to see who they were supposed to be and others were really good. They included a lot of fun facts about the people.

By Pamela K |

I was so excited to find a wax museum in the area. I have loved them since I was a little girl. The Hollywood Wax Museum was wonderful! They even had props at each celebrity so you could take pictures. My family had a great time!

By ericas9272019 |

We had a great time going from wax figure to wax figure reading about them, remembering them and talking about our favorite movie, song, or what we perceive as their personality. 98% of the figures seemed very much on point, there were just a few who could have used a better likeness, but overall they were great nonetheless. We sang with Bruno, Whitney, and Michael, and danced with Bob Marley, Bruno, and Beyonce. We played the guitar with Dolly Parton and Prince and lost a show down with John Wayne and blew off part of Arnold Schwarzenegger's face though that just slowed him down. In case you can't tell, we loved it!

By 2jerseyfrogs |

50% of the wax figures were good and seem real. The other 50% were not that good. For a rainy day it's good to take kids to but it was very expensive.

By shaquannajones603 |

Our family really enjoyed the Hollywood Wax museum - the artist who made the statues are very creative. My family could not stop posing with the celebrities. The different poses and acting out different scenes - it was awesome to see my entire family enjoy the museum together. The was the first time in a while that my family and my dads family have vacationed together without it being a special occasion. Our blended family explored every part of museum. Fun times!!!!!

By Teresa S. |

I very much enjoyed this Hollywood Wax Museum. I have been to several others. Yet this one, had figures that looked more like the person they were supposed to be. It was clean and the figures look like they have been taken care of. They didn't have dust or a unkept look to them. They were nicely dressed. The building was large and well lite. I would recommend a visit to this location.

By Jennifer DeBolt W |

I was alittle worried it would be a waste . Buttttt!!! It was so fun and they look so real !! You can take pictures and use props ! Definitely worth getting all passes ! The zombie rooms were great and the mirror maze too. You totally need to go .

By Petunia111 |

We bought the all access pass, 2 adults and our 8 year old son. Yes, it is expensive for an hour of entertainment, but we had a lot of fun taking pictures and using the props, we also enjoyed the mirror maze, which we went through after the wax museum. As for the zombie section, I did read reviews before deciding to do this part of the tour with our son and I was on the fence about bringing him in there, but he insisted on trying it. We were told that there are exits throughout so you can leave if it becomes too much. Well, the three of us entered and my son and I lasted about a minute, we were out at the first exit door! My husband did the tour alone. It wasn’t so much the scare factor that got us it was the loud alarms and the other loud noises, it was just too much for us. When my son and I came out so quickly the staff member saw that we were a little rattled, she was so sweet and offered us another opportunity to go into the mirror maze, which I thought was very nice of her. So, my suggestion is go have fun in the wax museum and mirror maze with your kids and skip the zombies.

By alwayznay |

My best friend and I visited on a spur of the moment and was glad we did!! The staff was very friendly and the museum’s wax figures were exceptionally lifelike. Definitely a place you want to visit!!

By Amanda |

My kids insisted we go to the wax museum during our vacation. We bought the tickets that included the zombies and the mirror maze. This is the only wax museum I have been to but I wasnt impressed with the quality of the wax figures. They have props you can put on and take pictures next to the figures and some of them have elaborate backgrounds which were fun to take pictures in.

The mirror maze was quick but fun. I had an 11, 7, and 6 year old with me. They were terrified when we did the undead zombie thing. We rushed out of it. They said they would never want to do that again. We had a really good time except for the zombies.

By read2kidz2018 |

It was fun for about an hour. Family of four was $110 though. We thought that was pricy. Kids had fun posing with wax figures. Props were an added bonus.

By HurricaneGal_11 |

Exceeded our expectation. The wax figures were not always spot on but the props and picture taking was a blast

2nd was the mirror maze. We had a hard time finding our way out but it generated a lot of laughing

3rd was Outbreak. This was a Zombie Haunted House. It was very dark and gave us a few screams

With the All Access Pass this is a great family adventure

By Stephanie D |

They sanitize and keep this place in pristine condition. There are three attractions to choose from with a packaged pricing available. The workers were very friendly and the wax museum is awesome. The hall of mirrors is a lot of fun and the outbreak maze was a trip! This was two hours well spent. Most of the wax figures were spot on likenesses.

By JPARKS24@BELLSOUTH.NET |

I truly enjoyed my visit to the Hollywood Wax Museum in Myrtle Beach, S.C. I am a movie and star bluff. I think the experience of just walking around and reading the interesting facts was so much fun. Taking pictures with the wax figures were a great keepsake.
The ALL Access Tour! AWESOME! AWESOME! The House of MIRRORS was great!
The ZOMIE Experience was really great!
If you go you much do the ALL ACCESS Tour!
My husband and I had so much fun in The ZOMIE Experience. It was something else. We both were sooo scary! Must Do!

By Nina757 |

Kind of expensive for a family of 4 but it was fun. They had a mirror maze and a zombie trail. The children really liked it.

By pam p |

There were life like wax statues that were beautiful. lots of movie stuff. lots of photo opportunities

By Verna S |

This was awesome was scared of course during the spooky one lol, but it was so nice that one of the workers went with me. Thank God she was allowed, I don’t think I could have gotten out. But this 72 year old had a ball. Thank you for going in with me. The wax museum was great also. Yes do go

By Brianna S |

We really enjoyed this place! Loved all the props! My twin toddlers danced their hearts out, they loved it!

By Terri G |

I used this as a holiday get-together after the holidays. We had 14 employees and we did a scavenger hunt. Employees were given a list of things to find and and figures to take photos with. Also extra points for use of props. It was a big hit with lots of awesome photos of the employees.

By MelissaR0270 |

This was one of the funnest things we did on the trip. It was interactive and you could put props on and take pics with the stars. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so neat!

By Mary C |

I've been there several times and last time (a couple weeks ago) we made another trip and a LOT of the wax folks were missing and many had been changed! Took all of 15 minutes to walk the place. It was pitiful! Come on now...you got Martha Steward AND Snoop Dog together? The "newer" ones don't even resemble their characters and many have either disappeared or have been moved to no long make any sense of who they were. Disappointed and won't go back.

By Luigi OG |

Was great all three attractions , 2 year old loved it. Family had a great time. All three attractions will surprise you.

By Brian S |

Baught the 3 Attraction Ticket and did ask the attractions in one afternoon. The museum was easy to find right across from Broadway At the Beach and just look for the giant Gorilla climbing the Empire State Building. Parking was free and getting though check in if you buy your tickets in advance was fast.
They had tons of figures throughout the museum, some were in bad condition after years of display while others were very well preserved. We really enjoyed all the Costume props throughout the museum allowing a more personal photo opportunity. They're offer me them just wax figures as you can get some hands on fun in games and Attractions as well.

By Tiffanne S |

Really enjoyed taking the kids to see different actors and actresses that they could take pictures with and use props to incorporate too. It was fun. The mirror maze was nice too. We had to do it 2x because my younger kiddo was scared of the zombie attraction.

By Kimberly G |

Take your time and check out everything this place has to offer. Very interesting. Cool photo props. A little pricey but look for coupons! Entire family will enjoy.

By André G |

By Stachia W |

Good time spent on a rainy day in Myrtle! We took our 2 1/2 year old and she loved it! We danced, sang and played with the props, perfect idea for a quick trip away from the resort and beach!

If you're looking for a fun place as a couple or a family, this place is a five star attraction. There are over 50 celebrity figures and they all look so realistic. There are alsou two attractions that are in the wax museum which is the mirror Maze and the zombie adventure. Let me be the first to tell you, the zombie adventure is not for those with heart problems, small children or those like me who are easily scared. Lol I bailed out and I didnt return. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves.

The Hollywood wax museum is an amazing place. I had a lot of fun walking through there. I would do it again!!!

By bonniev015 |

Wonderful place to visit - we LOVED the props that were made available so that we could pose with the figures! Be prepared to have lots of fun!

By Frank S |

Midday break at the wax museum. The Hollywood figures were well done and loved the props you could use for photos. Especially enjoyed the horror movie section. If you go get the All Access and go downstairs from both the mirror maze and the Zombie room. A don’t miss activity. Of all the indoor stuff we did this week, this was my teenage son’s favorite.

By lovetotravel8590 |

we purchased the all access which included the wax museum, house of mirrors, and like a haunted house. The wax was a couple floors, and some were great replicas, as you moved through the wax you could take pictures, and there were props that you could take pictures with . A fun time, on the upper floor there is also a laser experience, which you have to go through the lasers without breaking them, to hit a target. If you choose the all access pass, you then move to the house of mirrors and the haunted house, both of those were quick, but a fun experience, I would definitely recommend for a rainy day or an adventure in the evening, they are open late on the weekends

By krystal s |

It was our first time visiting and we did all 3 attractions. The zombie walk thru was great and my kids loved it and screamed every minute. Some of the exhibits could be updated. My kids loved the laser game and mirror maze. We will definitely visit again in a few years.

By Erika N |

Went here with my best friend on my birthday trip to Myrtle Beach - she was kind of creeped out by the statues but I absolutely loved every minute of it. They're very well done and pretty interactive which is really fun!!!

By Laura F |

My husband and I went and had the best time! It is great for all ages. We took so many pictures and had so many laughs. An amazing experience all the way around!

By Nika B |

We enjoyed it. Took lots of fun pictures. Perfect for family. The Haunted house was really scary. I would not recommend it for children under 8

By Joe VanDevender |

All life like. worth the trip!Has a large variety of people of all walks of life. The place maks you feel like they arealive!

By Dianne P |

I have never been to a wax museum before but I felt completely let down. Only a very few figures actually looked like the real thing. Some of them, if they didn't have names next to them, I never would have known who they were supposed to be. The house of mirrors was fun. I didn't go in the zombie house. Not a zombie fan. But others with me who did weren't too impressed. I guess if you scare easily it would be fun.

By Beth C |

This is a fun activity for the whole family. My 10 and 18 years old nephews really enjoyed the museum. The added costumes for photos with the wax figures made the museum even more enjoyable!

By Karen L |

This is one of the best museums I have visited. Look for coupons. Each exhibit of a Hollywood star is well done and looks so real. You are allowed to take pictures. This is a self guided tour and there is an excellent gift shop.

By Travis G |

Went there yesterday (June 1st 2025) with my family. We had the package of three attractions Wax Museum, Hall of Mirrors, & Outbreak. I recommend all three especially Outbreak if you want a spooky ending

By tashab754 |

Had a great time. Was skeptical about going but for the most part, the wax figures looked real. Enjoyed the props as well. Worth the trip and time.

By Bob C |

Took our 2 teenage grandchildren. It was a blast. It was the first time for all of us. Love the props and being able to take pictures with the wax figures. The Mirror Maze was mind boggling and the outbreak was drop dead scary. Loved it all!

By Roman P |

There were many photo opportunities within the Hollywood Wax Museum. This is our 'go to" dream destination. The self guided tour let us move through the attraction at our own pace and every area is interactive. The attention to detail is exquisite and you are greeted warmly upon arrival and wished well when you complete the tour. We can't wait to come back here on future visits to South Carolina

By Britt |

We got the all access pass & had a great time! The exhibits were fun, there were props to take photos and cool scenery and decorations for each celebrity. The mirror maze was my kids favorite, we chose not to do the zombie activity since it was too scary for our young children. The staff offered for us to do the mirror maze twice! I thought that was very thoughtful of them! We all enjoyed ourselves and would visit again

By FooFighter44 |

Visited the Hollywood Wax Musuem on a Tuesday morning. It was a lot of fun. My son enjoyed the prop stations and posing for pics besides some of his favorite Hollywood stars. Some of the stars were really good clones and looked real, others were a tad off from the real star. But it was fun anyways. Great way to cool off and kill a couple of hours in Myrtle Beach. Also, it's close to Broadway at the Beach, so you can easily go to both places.

By Doreen L |

We had so much fun taking pictures with all the props they had. So of the wax figures could have been better, but over all it was a great time. I loved the mirror maze. We laughed so hard because it took us so long to get out. The zombie area was very good too. A must do with family if you are in the area. One price for all three things.

By Michelle W |

This was so good. You better leave yourself at least 2 - 3 hours of time to go through all of this. They even have props, so you can be in the picture.

By marycmacdonald |

had a blast here. spent a few hours and lots of fun. the figures are mostly very lifelike and all the displays are interactive. you can get up close and personal with your favorite stars.

By Qwagmirejade |

My husband, 2 year old and I visited and went through the museum, the mirror maze and the zombie walk.

The wax figures didn’t really resemble the actors and actresses for the most part. A few of them were pretty similar but the majority weren’t close at all, to the point we had to check the signs to see who they were. For us, the props they provided were the highlight of the museum visit. You can put on props and stand with each figure and pose and have a bit of fun with it, which we did.

The best part was the mirror maze, it wasn’t your normal mirror maze. There was more to it than just the maze aspect. There were other rooms and other effects in it that made it quite interesting.

The zombie walk on the other hand was another story. We were told by the woman at the front that the zombie walk would be “perfectly fine” for our 2 year old..well, it was not even close to fine. There are a lot of sudden loud banging noises, screaming noises and other things a haunted house would have. Our son is not normally scared easily either. He loves scary Halloween decorations and props that jump out and things that are meant to be scary, but this was over the top for a little one. We assumed since a staff who worked there gave us the go ahead that it would have been meant more for little ones. We had to exit out a side door because he was so scared.

Overall, it was a good to try once but we wouldn’t return.

By Nerhtoc |

The wax museum was thoroughly enjoyable. There were 4 in our group and we purchased tickets for all three attractions...wax museum, house of mirrors, and the zombie experience. It ended up being around $32 per person. The was museum was by far the most enjoyable. Most of the wax figures are great likenesses of their intended celebrities. Some were a little off. Expect to see Elvis, Prince, Lady Gaga, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Bill Murray, and many others. Some of the figures even have props for visitors to use in photos (for example: fedora and cocktail glass along with Frank Sinatra). We went on a slow day, and it took us probably 45 minutes to go through the wax museum and take plenty of photos along the way. The hall of mirrors was just OK. It only took about 15 minutes. The Zombie experience was just so-so. If we visit again, we will skip the mirrors and zombies. These attractions were fairly boring.

By OkieOSUFamily |

We went one evening after dinner to the wax museum. We should've saved our money. The figures don't resemble the stars very well. The quality of the figures seemed cheap. The exhibits were sparse and spaced out. They take your picture as you enter the building with King Kong which is an annoying money making scheme. Save your money and spend your time doing something else.

By Jasmine W |

We had the best time!! Laughing and taking photos. I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

By Tammy & Troy H |

So neat to be able to pose and take pics with movie stars props at your own leisurely pace. Spend a few extra dollars and do the zombie adventure. It was like a first hand experience of the Walking Dead show. The mirror maze was about to give me a panic attack even though I had already locked onto my husband's arm but they do have emergency exits even so often though and we finally felt our way out.

By Bradley D |

My family had a blast here. We also did the other two attractions that they had there. Th mirror maze that they had was fun. My Daughter led the family, and she got us out really fast, the attendant said that was fast when we got out. The haunted attraction was scary. It was really fun.

By Dorothy W |

The Wax museum was amazing.
Loved the props to take the pictures with.
We had so much fun!!!
A must do in Myrtle Beach

By Pamela C |

We had so much fun here! We did all three attractions. It is well worth the money! My teenagers had a great time taking photos. If you have teenagers finding something they enjoy as a family can be hard.

By Debbie W |

It was fabulous. Except the house of b mirrors and the zombies. Otherwise a great time. The zombies were probably a halloween thing

By Cynthia H |

I thought the figures were pretty realistic for the most part. I have been to Madame Tussauds wax museum and I like the Hollywood wax museum much better. I have also been to the Hollywood wax museum in Hollywood, Ca. The museum in Hollywood is better than the Myrtle Beach museum, but they're both good. There are several different activities to do besides looking at the stars including trying to work your way through a maze full of lasers, a mirror maze and a haunted zombie walk. I would suggest you give it a try.

By Inspire485839 |

I just got back from Myrtle beach and must say, when the group wanted to go to a wax museum, I said boring.. But could not have been more wrong.

What a fun time. They have great wax, cool photo props, and a surprixingly amazing, petrifying haunted house with everything from tech to wax to live actors.. A highlight

By Diana B |

Staff was very friendly. Exhibits are life like. Clean and very well arranged. This was our second time to visit and would go again.

By Renae M |

Liked the Flunky Facts and other tidbit info about the stars. Flowed well with great props for picks. Also enjoyed the additional attractions Maze of Mirrors and Outbreak.

By peter_alaoui78 |

The equivalent of our Grévin museum in Paris but with many accessories that allow you to immortalize certain scenes while having a laugh. Combined with the two other activities offered, the price remains acceptable

By bethcarrillo2 |

This is such a fun place to visit with family. Lots of props to use to take pictures. Great wax figures to look at.

By Andraya G |

My family visited this wax museum back in May 2023, our visit was fantastic! We got to see all our favorite famous lifelike figures, interactive exhibits, and friendly staff for everyone. Highly recommended for place to visit on vacation, would go back again!

By Steph S |

I saw a wax museum about 13 years ago in Branson, MO. This one is not much different, but it’s still a nice way to spend a couple of hours. If you haven’t seen a wax museum it’s something you should do at least once.

By Betty S |

The museum was way better than expected. The wax figures seemed so real. My boys love it. They are 3 and 5, they had alot of fun dressing up and taking pictures with the wax figures. The mirror maze was amazing. It seemed like it went on forever. The museum was very considerate of the younger ones. We got the all access pass and my boys was too scared to go in the zombie adventure and we was able to do the mirror maze twice.

By Barbara R |

First time we visited Myrtle Beach SC & my family had a blast at Hollywood Wax Museum. Thank you for a Great Experience!!

By October4thAnn |

We enjoyed it. I liked seeing the actual size of people. Some were much different than I thought. I had never been to a wax museum so one must go at least once.

By GenXbabe |

This was the second wax museum I visited. The first was about 10 years ago in New York City. This was different. I will admit if it was not for the names of some of the celebrities I would not have known who some were. It was fun taking pictures with the figures. It was also cute how they had props for some of the figures. I really liked Snoop and Martha I thought that was creative. This is something fun to do and to add a little bang for your buck you can also do the mirrors and haunted house for an additional fee. There is also a photo with the gorilla. The lady that did the photos was very upbeat and she made the experience even more joyful. This is a must do!

By morrissherry2010 |

Our entire family visited the museum. Very nice- characters were very realistic for the most part. Staff were nice and welcoming.

By Cheryl W |

The wax museum was a fun trip with the family. It was rainy all day, the line was out the door. I managed to survive the wait, which was not long considering the crowd. The staff worked efficiently to get everyone inside. We purchased the all access pass for all three attractions. Definitely clean inside. It was a fun day with the family.

By Sabrina P |

We had so much fun here. We did all three attractions. The wax museum and mirrors maze the kids loved. My husband and I did the zombie one together and that was so much fun. Defiantly worth the trip.

By Beach B |

We went thru all 3 exhibits and all were fantastic. I recommend everyone do them. Some little ones might be afraid of the zombies.

By Stewey1980 |

They have so many wonderful characters on display. It was a fun day from beginning to end! Take your time, take lots of pictures, and meet your most favorite celebrities in wax form!
We also enjoyed the mirror maze. It was challenging and fun with a great storyline.
We passed on the zombie portion of the museum due to the little children in our party.

By Matt N |

Was a great experience and fun time, we did the all access pass and it was worth it. The haunted zombie walk through was fun, love the set up and wax props 👍🏼 The props made the picture taken fun!

By Anthony Franco-Pantoja |

We got the all acess pass and the wax musem was incredible the celeibratys i saw was not expated recomdend this place

By Andrew G |

Did this with my family and we had an amazing time. Bit pricey but wasn't a bad experience. Easy to navigate and the facility is clean.

By Beachbaby1 |

The wax statues were OK but the props were fun and we had a lot of laughs posing with the stars! The Mirror Maze and Zombie Outbreak were a lot of fun as well. Great value!

By mwinn |

We vacationed near Myrtle Beach this summer with three adults and three teenagers. Everyone got to pick a thing to do in which we all had to participate. My 14 year old niece picked Hollywood Wax Museum. We looked for coupons on line and found a few but they were literally $2 cheaper than buying in person. So definitely check regular prices before purchasing a Groupon or Living Social.
So we got there mid-morning on the appointed day and got the six tickets. My mom generously treated our group and decided to upgrade us all to include the Mirror Maze and Zombie experience. It was VERY expensive for the package but it was sweet of her.
We go into the museum and were a little surprised that we didn't recognize a soul in the first exhibit. That became a bit of a game for us. One of us would run ahead to the next room and cover the name of the celebrity figure and then everyone would have to guess. Sometimes the context helped, sometimes not. But most figures barely looked related to their alleged model. The Meryl Streep figure is the stuff of nightmares. It was fun just because it was so bad. We laughed and laughed.at how bad it was.
We also did the Mirror Maze and Zombie experience. The Mirror Maze was fun if a little stressful (it really is hard to get out of there!). The Zombie experience was a glorified haunted house with bad animatronics and loud noises plus one guy who would periodically jump out at us and scream. Fun but neither is worth the fairly steep up charge. Skip it.
So all in all, would I recommend? Maybe. But don't do the upgrades and go in with an open mind and low expectations. And younger kids will NOT like it as many of the "celebrity" figures are more relatable to older teenagers and adults.

By RRM45 |

My 3 boys (ages 14, 14, and 12) had a great time visiting the Hollywood Wax Museum. Most (if not all) have "props" so you can get some pretty cool and funny pictures with the celebrity! It was $25 per person - but we made many memories and was able to get pictures of each boy with their favorite celebrity! There were 2 other attractions at the same museum, but we only had time for the Wax Museum, so did not purchase the All Access Pass. There are coupons available for the All Access pass in the many Myrtle Beach coupon booklets.

By Evelyn S |

This is one of the best wax museums we've been to, and the first where you're allowed to actually touch. They have props for you to wear/use and pose with the figures. It was lots of fun. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was not crowded at all.

By Dream58569679927 |

My kids and I decided to visit the Wax museum on Sat November 11th. We had a blast taking pictures with all the stars. We also did the maze of mirrors and outbreak attraction.

By Tony R |

We wish this would have been open for business. King Kong climbing the building makes for a good photo shoot and something to remember!

By Joshua P |

My family had a great time visiting the wax museum. I wasn't sold at first because I had never been to one and didn't know what to expect but we spend a couple hours here posing with the figures and making jokes and memories. There's also a laser field interactive game that we all enjoyed. They had tons of characters throughout the museum and the staff was very kind and friendly. The entire building was incredibly clean and well maintained. They have a mirror maze which we did as well and enjoyed. They also have a zombie escape type exhibit which we tried to do but didn't make it passed the first room because it was WAY too scary for my children (ages 10 and 7) even though my son was very excited about the zombie portion of this trip. The staff was kind enough to let us do the mirror maze for a second time because the zombie exhibit was too scary for the kids, so it wasn't like we paid for it and just got nothing. Great experience overall!

By Nancy D |

Props were great the wax museum was great. We spent over an hour taking pictures posing with figures. The laser room was fun. I would tell anyone this was well worth it.

By Tyme4relaxing |

The three of us went here because the weather was rainy and cold. We had a good time and had a lot of laughs but the wax figures did not represent the "star" as well as some of the wax museums I've been to. I had to read the plaque to figure out who about 50 % of the "stars" were. We bought the combo tickets...for $5 more why wouldn't you. We enjoyed it but the figures could be better. The props looked a bit wore and the hats were dirty. We were a little leery about using them.

By Joanne F |

Went to Myrtle Beach for a few days and came across the Hollywood Wax Museum we immediately decided that it was going to be one of the places we were going to visit. I’m really happy we did there were lots of celebrity wax figures some looked exactly like the celebrity while others didn’t nonetheless it was fun walking around and being able to take pics with them. I would recommend the museum as one of the must see places while in the area.

By keeyse |

I got the all access pass, mirror and haunted rooms were worth it. The figures look nothing like the people! Not worth the money.

By Joan B |

11 of us visited this museum and we had a great time. There are props at most figures and we had lots of photo ops.

By Kiwilicious |

Awesome my kids had an amazing time!!!!Loved Outbreak😂😂🤗🤗Worth the price to visit all 3 attractions 🤗🤗Will be going back

By PCH |

We enjoyed the wax museum. The displays were great. I really enjoyed the exhibits. I recommend a visit to the wax museum.

By npo |

I went alone, my family wasn’t interested. It was more fun than I anticipated. The artwork is amazing. You will learn a few things along the way, too. They have a great selection of wax people. Something for older people to induce fond memories all the way to current pop stars, for our kids. Staff and other visitors were friendly and happy to take photos for me.

By Callie Packard |

The price for my family of three was around 70$. The all access pass is the best deal if you plan on visiting the other attractions like the zombie outbreak or Hannah’s Mirror maze. I was absolutely astounded by the quality of the wax figures. They were so very lifelike and you were able to touch them and they had many different props for photo opportunity. The selection of celebrities was astonishing and I feel that we got much more than I expected. It was a great value. Definitely would visit again.

By spike9090 |

We were literally in and out of here in 15 minutes and that includes the time that it took to purchase the tickets. It is really overpriced for how small it is. We looked at every individual one and took a picture of each. There are only actors and musicians. Now athletes. It was nice looking and well maintained.

By Chiron |

I had an Awesome Time at the Wax Museum I really loved the Mirror Maze and I had an awesome time at the Wax Museum and I really Loved Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, Bruno Mars, and Niki Minaj and I loved it so much I really Loved Jolene, and Uptown Funk I played it on the Guitar

So I will Come back here I love The Beach

By Anthony D |

Super fun, clean and a lot of “stars” to take pictures with. The props Were super fun to dress up with and take pictures themed with the stars scene. Highly recommend.

By Jan C |

Had a HUGE time using all the props and taking pictures with the wax figures. Some did not look like the person and others looked just like the celebrity. Thought they had a good blend of past and present stars. The staff was great. Tickets for other attractions fell out of my purse during the tour. They called me as soon as they found them. That was so great!

By ImperiousRex69 |

My girlfriend's son had his 13th birthday party here and I had my doubts as to if it would hold a handful of kids attentions for very long...but I was wrong. It has some really great waxworks there that look almost identical to the actual person they mean to emulate. Some look like distant cousins of the person they are meant to be, which actually, for me, made it all the more entertaining. The most fun is the zombie "Outbreak" maze downstairs. I thought it would just be a little kids rendition of a zombie haunted house but it's not. It'll do a good job of making any adult jump a few times too.

By Mrsklove05 |

My family had so much fun posing with the statues. We also did the zombie haunted attraction and the mirror maze. It’s a must do for any family looking for a good family fun day.

By dottie w |

Well worth the trip. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There were many props around to take photos with your favorite celebrities. Great fun for adults and kids alike!

By Erica D |

We spent a couple hours here and enjoyed it all. We also did the mirror maze and the Outbreak Lab. My 7 year old was afraid in the Outbreak room, but the rest of us loved it. What made it even better was one of the guys scaring us in the Outbreak Lab (the one behind the scenes) was waiving to my 7 year old after scaring the rest of us. That really calmed her down and made it bearable having her in there w/ us. Great place to visit and spend a couple hours indoors.

By Addison |

We arrived about 10:30am and we were the only people there, so that was nice. Fun little experience. Place was clean and staff were friendly.

By James D |

We were very impressed by the quality and display of the Wax figures. There are also many interactive displays throughout. If you do the all access pass which I recommend we had so much fun with maze and Zombie attraction.

By Journey54097038262 |

We had a great time with our grandchildren! All three are 10 yrs old. They had so much fun using the props as we took pictures and videos. Highly recommend!

By Janice New |

My grand-kids and I LOVED it we took pictures for 2 hours.
We will differently visit again soon with different kiddos.

By Pat C |

Wonderful variety, we took so many pictures! They offer a lot of great props to use in your photos. A must see

By G M |

They have 3 different attraction in one stop for 30$ so not too bad. You get to find your way thru the mirror maze, then you must find your way thru the zombies (like a haunted house) then the wax museum, fun wax museum with props for pics and fun facts throughout. Don't want to go thru the zombies, no problem they let you go thru the mirror maze again. Really cute, fun and interactive place!

By Cocoa16 |

It was fun for the kids, not worth the price. Had fun laughing with the kids, but truly not worth the price.

By namato1 |

This was a spur of the moment stop and I am glad we did. There are a lot of props you can use to pose with the figures. We got the all access for the kids which gets them access to the mirror maze and zombie room. Everyone had fun and this should be on everyones agenda while in the area.

By Julia C |

This was such an awesome museum with lifelike wax figures! We had so much fun using the props and taking fun photos with the stars.

By Kristy H |

Our first time in South Carolina. We visited the wax museum on a rainy day when we arrived It was worth going to. Do the pass that includes the mirror area and the haunted area as well. We were nervous to go into the haunted area but do it. I would not recommend for children. The mirror portion on the museum is actually kind of fun and amazing once you are in there touring around. I give the wax museum a thumbs up.

By KWa16 |

If you want a break from the sun for an hour, this is a fun place. The figures are reasonably realistic looking and the prop stations make the visit interactive. I found it a bit over-priced for how long you spend in the attraction but Myrtle Beach is a tourist scene so I understand why things are priced as they are.

By renee h |

i took my time to see the was actors, on a wheelchair , i enjoy it, then i deciede to go in outbreak the haunted house , part its downstairs , they have a elevator for wheelchair, handicap
OMG it was very scary its not just wax figures beware,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

By J7880KRkatherinec |

I have kids 9-11. Even though they didn't really know a lot of the people, they really enjoyed it. It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get through the whole place including the mirror maze and outbreak. It is a bit expensive, but many hotels offer either a free adult ticket or discounts. The kids(and dad) loved the props. When we went it was not very busy, so if it is busy plan on taking more time if you want to get pictures. Nice family fun. Staff was really friendly. I think the biggest hit was the laser room.

By dorisdaybic |

Never, ever, ever did I think I would like this place. IT WAS AWESOME! Paid for the full deal of attractions, and so glad! The wax exhibits were spaced so you could be in the photo with them, WITH PROPS APPROPIATE FOR THAT EXHIBIT! Yes! My husband had sunglasses and a rifle to hunt with the Terminator! Go, have some fun, Laugh!
The other exhibits were a Zombie maze, scary...truly, even with actors! The Mirror House was good as well...If you have 9 and under, don't do the Zombie Maze...but good for a good scream for adults.

By Debra B |

My husband and I visited the wax museum a few days ago and found we liked it more than we thought we would. As it is called the Hollywood Wax Museum, the figures are of actors, actresses. singers and musicians. Most of the wax figures looked like their real-life counterparts, though there were some that did not. The figures were often representative of them in their younger days, not as they are in more recent years. All-in-all, it was fun for the hour or so we were there. We paid $64.48 for the two of us (includes senior discount).

By Cindy G |

It was fun but some of the wax statues didn't look like the star. Many were spot on but some were way off.

By romanroads109 |

Pretty good for a quick visit if it's not out of raining but cost a little high of a lot of people in your group.

By 573suzel |

thought the wax figures were actually not that great as far as face and true height and weight on some of them but the maze of mirrors and the haunted zombie thing were a blast. still worth going to for the fun of it all.

By Sharon S |

Loved this experience! We had a blast walking around taking pictures and enjoying the scenes. The mirror maze was fun too! Found the princess and the way out too! Did not do the scary dungeon. You can't⁸⁸ leave the beach without this experience! Customer service here was great too!

By 62bean |

My family really enjoyed looking at all of the wax celebrities. Most of them were so real looking. Only a few didn’t really resemble the celebrities. The mirror and horror adventures were a bonus. It’s only a few dollars more but well worth it.
