If you are a walker this is the place. It is well kept, various scenery i.e.: Indian River, the fishing pier, the children's water fountains, the Langford Museum, Capt. Sewall's original home with nature boardwalk behind, the Children's Museum, just to name a few. No fees, just a relaxing and secure area with lots of other 55 & over people walking also.

I use this park, particularly at sunset for my family photos and clients. It is and has lots of amazing places to capture little ones in the water park or just sitting by the intra coastal. It has a few walking trails and lots of parking available.

Great place for a family picnic..wonderful scenery, a place to take in nature, a stroll, hike, bike ride on one of the the various paved paths..all along the peaceful, often breezy, Indian River. There is a fountain that children can cool off and play in and also a children's museum on the site.
This park has restrooms. There is plenty of parking. There is a structure there that I witnessed being used to cater a wedding party, so you can rent an area for a private party there as well.
There are no fee's to get in. There is barbeque area's and a small beach, you can bring a canoe or swim. There are plenty of shady spots to avoid too much sun, in addition, lots of grassy area's here with plenty of trees.
A magnificent gem in Jensen Beach..don't miss it..

This park is great for families...even in the heat. Toddlers and young children can frolic in the fountains to stay cool while playing with their friends. And, if that is not enough fun, a hundred steps away from the fountains is a smaII beach! This park is aIso next door to The ChiIdrens Museum which is another fun and educationaI experience for famiIies with youngsters.

For a quiet walk through natural surroundings, you'll find history, nature and scenic waterfront to relax and enjoy. Bring a picnic and curiosity as you can spend hours exploring the 1938 Art Deco mansion, ponds, trails, pier and more. Not crowded, the bonus: it's dog friendly

We attended a wedding here. The location is great because it is river front and very pretty. The upstairs balcony in the The Frances Langford Dockside Pavilion we were in was so nice in the evening. The wedding was inside and the room was very large with a large dance floor. The only negative is there was a large birthday party going on with active children, right next to the wedding. Loved the long dock

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable. Easy walk and beautiful. It was our first time walking this park.

Unfortunately we only discovered this park towards the end of our vacation otherwise we would have spent much more time there. This park is perfect for a family with young children.
The beach is small, has trees for shade and the water is shallow. The sand is littered with twigs and leaves from the trees but if you put a beach blanket down it's not an issue. There's a beautiful sandy bottom once you are in the water. It's not the kind of beach that attracts young party crowds so it's great for kids.
Apart from the beach there is a great water fountain for kids to play in. There are benches around the fountain so parents can be comfortable and close to their kids. The bathrooms and amenities are the cleanest I've seen in the area. There is also a long fishing pier which makes for a beautiful walk.
Of course being a park there is also a good amount of green space for kids to run around with footballs, frisbees etc. There are gazebos with barbecue grills that seem to be available to rent.
Basically it's the perfect place for a family outing.

Great splash park for kids, children's museum is next door, small beach for kids to play on. Great way to spend a few hours!

The only part of the park we visited were the fountains, small beach & pier which was located right next to the Children's Museum. The fountains & beach were not huge but were really fun for the kids. There were plenty of benches for seating & the beach had some trees for shade (maybe good for babies.) My kids loved this park very much!

Indian Riverside Park is a wonderful place to stroll around and just enjoy the beauty of this area. There are picnic facilities and a wonderful fountain the kids can play in!

This park is very nice. Great place to go when the ocean beach is to windy. Nice fountain, clean bathrooms, and great for the kids. Very enjoyable. Parking is free and always a place to park.

Our company booked a lanai for our company outdoor barbecue at the Riverside Park the atmosphere was good but there were insects and it was hot and humid the restrooms were poor and the whole experience could have been better

Great place for weddings or large gatherings, 3 mile walk around a beautiful paved nature type trail, very clean, water fun for children, one of my favorite places, lots of scheduled events

The view is amazing at night. The pier Lights up to allow a stroll or fishing if you'd Like. There are tables set up under the awning and the atmosphere is relaxed and soothing.

I've visited this park dozens of times, but until this trip it had been about 10 years since my last visit. Not much has changed in that time. It's still a great park for a quiet walk along the riverside.
There are plenty of picnic tables for those who want to enjoy a lunch in the park.
When the weather is warm enough, they turn on the fountain for the kids to splash in the water.
I really enjoy the walk out on the pier. If you time it just right, you may even catch a dolphin or two playing in the water just beyond the pier.
It's beautifully maintained and parking is easy and convenient. If you visit on "the perfect weekend," parking can get crowded.
It's well worth the trip and there is no charge for parking or entry.

This park keeps getting better and better. We always go here to do photos for those special days or bring the dog for a walk. It's a must visit if your in the area with little ones. The Children's Museum is here and there is a splash fountain in the summer.

The fountains are famous for the little one. Good space to wade into the inter-coastal. A nice fishing pier. And grass to roam and play. A nice space to bond and spend some quality family time being active.

This is a well maintained park on the Indian River. There are great sidewalks for walking and there is usually plenty of people around for a safe feeling atmosphere.

We love taking our 1 1/2 year old to this park. It has a great splash fountain for the kids. Restrooms. A pier. A little sandy beach. Great walking paths. A little butterfly garden and the children's museum right in the park.

Loved the park, Beautiful, clean. A great place to take pictures of the beautiful sunrise. Also great place for families with kids or pets. Also restrooms available.

This small park seems to have something for everyone....a boardwalk through a mangrove swamp, a children's museum and play area, an amphitheatre, a pier, paved paths along the river and through a small flower park. It takes about 45 minutes or so to walk the area. There are bags for people walking their dogs and frequent trash cans and plenty of benches as well. It's very nicely done and a very relaxing place to take a walk.

The park was exceptionally clean. On our visit it was not crowded at all. The people there were friendly. The were few children at the museum. The pier was very nice as it extended guite a distance from the shore. It is a good place to spend a quite day doing nothing, but enjoying the beautiful area.

Indian Riverside Park has something for all ages. The beach and pier offers great access to the Indian River Lagoon. The "waltzing" fountains are huge hit with kids.
This park combines a mile of hiking paths with access to some local history. Captain Sewell's home has been restored and is located adjacent to a boardwalk into the mangrove swamp and ends at a teaching pavilion. The Leach Mansion has also been restored and is available for events. Likewise, the new amphitheater is also available for special functions.
I visit here every day to walk the outer loop and once a week to take a Tai Chi class in the main Langford building. It is a delightful place to just relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset.

Beautifully laid put park with several attractions. A pavilion where concerts and events are held. A water splash fountain for the kids, a beach on the river to wade and explore, fishing pier with floating docking. Great trails, a children's museum and more.

Great place for every one. Walking, splash fountain, sports, fishing, etc. great place to stroll, jog, pet walk and rest on benches. Pavilions for rental. Great view of River.

We visited the park earlier this week and had a great time! We first stopped at the Children's Museum and then headed outside to the fountains, which was the main attraction for our 4 year old son, but the entire park was lovely. We ended up going at noon and were pleasantly surprised at how much shade there was. Perfect spot for a picnic! Will definitely be going back soon.

Nice place could use a little tlc along the way from the Tucaho mansion to the outside concert area and river pier and the ground fountain for the kids interactive type and the Childrens museum is very nice lots to see

Nice waterfront setting with kids fountain system. Just fun for kids and nice place for adults. Worth a visit!

We love this park. Walking trails, a pier out over the Indian River Lagoon, fountain for the children to play in. Pet Friedly, clean restrooms! Adjacent to the very nice Children's Museum. We also enjoy the frequent Festivals held here.

Very nice park many family related things to do. Great view of the intercostal waterway with historic Stuart nearby. Nice park!

Very interesting place to walk along the Indian River. Good paths and views. Easy parking. Very safe for families and children.

We are always sure to visit this waterfront park - nice place to walk with a great pier, small white sand beach for the smallest kids to play in the water and a splash pad just steps away. This is Jensen Beach at its finest. The nearby children's museum is a must as well - lots of paths to walk around and watch the boat traffic too - you won't be disappointed.

The outdoor maintenance personnel is the reason this park stays so beautiful.
I have never seen anyone work as hard as Jennifer. We go to the park several times every week to exercise. Even in this extreme heat, I have never seen Jennifer slack off. She is always working.
I wish every organization I had to come into contact with had personnel like this!

Great place to spend a spring day, have a picnic, take a walk, sit by water or read a book. Beautiful scenery use a kayak.....spend some time alone!

I have found Indian Riverside Park an interesting place to enjoy a day out. There is a long pier to just stroll out on or fish off of. Take a walk up by the mansion and enjoy the view or the children can go to the children's museum. Walk the dog or just enjoy the walk around. There are sometimes special events held there and they are usually free. Easter there is sun rise service at six am. they serve coffee and Danish before and after. The view by the mansion is really great during service. Hope you get to enjoy one of many events which are held there.

Quaint historic Capt. Sewall's home and the Mansion at Tukahoe all in this lovely park. Mansion open 1st and 3rd Wed. of the month

This weekend we had family visit from Lakeland with four young children. Children really enjoyed the fountains and also the man made beach. Boyfriend of our niece had a really good time fishing from the pier overall a great asset to Martin County!

Nice strolling areas along the Indian River Lagoon, picnic areas, frisbee lawns, kids water fountains. Just perfect for families!

This is a wonderful place to take the kids on a hot summer day. Pack a lunch and enjoy a walk down the pier. The splash pad is fantastic fun!

I have taken my grandchildren to this park when they were small - they have a wading pool with water shooting up and a pier where one can go fishing or just walk and watch the fish. The children's Museum is in the park. They have picnic tables and benches that are covered and give shade.

This park is a wonderful place to bring the family,or just have a great place to walk, fish off the pier, lots of birds, even dolphins playing in the river. The children's museum a must!
We look forward to our daily visits.

Lovely park to visit and relax or play with the kiddos. Nice little beach area with a tree for shade, too.

It is a wonderful place for families, singles, art shows. and it is right on the water. I enjoy th art shows the music and watching the children having fun!

We took our 2 yr old granddaughter. She played in the fountains for quite a while. Made new friends. It is very clean and well kept.

Florida as it should be!! Pristine Indian Riverside white sand beach, rocking chairs on the verandas, spouting foutain where the kids can play, walking paths at nature's door....!

This park is home to one rumored haunted mansion, has a courtyard, children's museum, and the walking paths are sidewalks but covered with tree shadings. The pavilions are nice because they have lights for night time use. Also, there is a water fountain for kids to run through in the day, boardwalk for fishing and lots of Pokestops for the Pokemon Go player.

A beautiful park on the water with a couple of nice museums and a historic mansion as well. There is a really nice boardwalk and picnic tables and pavilions also. We spent a couple of hours just walking around and had a great time.

an excellent place to walk the dog also has a small aandy beach on the river for wimming AND A SPRINKLER POND for little kids. A childrens museam and nice paths to wlak. We go there all the time

A great spot to visit. Lots of pigeons and salamanders by the pier.
I was wearing flip flops and the red ants on the beach had my feet for lunch. Very itchy, a lot like mosquito bites.

The park is rather small compared to others, but it was probably the most memorable one for us when we stayed in Jensen Beach. They have a lot of beautiful spots that are great for a picnic and a long pier for fishing. Taking a walk down the pier is simply amazing (try to catch the sunrise here).
When you visit I highly recommend to bring some peanuts and bread since you will find a lot of hungry squirrels and ducks. You will have a hell of fun to feed them since they aren’t shy at all. They also have a children’s museum and some fountains that are a great and fun way to cool off. It’s definitely a great park to bring your kids to.

This park has everything a family could desire: ball fields, horse area, beach, fishing pier, 3/4 mile hiking path, interactive water fountain for the kids, pavilions with picnic tables, BB areas, boat slips, butterfly garden and much more. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the kids. Bathrooms and plenty of parking.

This park has it all, rent-able venues for weddings, special occasions, events, splash pad for the kids (open during the day only shuts off about 5 pm), grills, covered picnic areas, along the river with a beautiful pier and beach access, located on the property are two historical properties both on the National Registrar, the Mansion at Tuckahoe built on an Indian midden and has an outdoor concert venue and the relocated Captain Sewell's home. Also located there is the Children's museum amoung beautiful 100 year old oaks. All are accessible from one location with free parking, beautiful restrooms and while a great place for all, a must do for families with young children. While no food is sold on site that I am aware of their are numerous places to eat close by for any budget.

Excellent place to go for a lazy weekend and make it better. Great place to walk around and excellent for the kids. The water outlets area is really nice unless weather outside is cold. Most of the time is great to enjoy Florida sunny weather and also well located. Fun and near by.

Love going to the park and walking my dog on the scenic path. Always is active with families and people exercising. Running, walking, roller blading on the path. Great for parties, weddings, or just playing in the fountains! Great place!

We saw manatees in the Indian River and the kids really enjoyed playing in the fountains. There was a lot of activity going on - bike riding, frisbee throwing, jump roping, baseball. Wonderful place to relax and take a break from the beach.

i have been in these fountains sense i can't remember and then it is not to far from the children's museum of the treasure coast or from the beach.

I agree that this park is awesome. You can have a picnic or go to the snack bar. The fountain is a great place for kids on a hot day. Free parking. There was a sign that said butterfly park and would have liked to see that but was only able to stay for short time.

Great paths, great views, fun stuff for dogs, families, and kids. Fishing, swimming, walking. Concerts , art fairs, something going on often.

A group of us went to the music, the first Sunday of the month. The music was great. Good variety, a little something for everyone. Two foods available for purchase. There was a sea food truck and a Bar B Q truck. The Bar B Q was from Southern Pig and Cattle Company. Their sandwiches were $5 each. I had the beef..it was delicious.. some of the others had the pulled pork..they also said it was delicious. The Bar B Q was so good, I took my son to the resturant the next week. Don't forget to bring a chair. I didn't bring a chair so I sat on a concrete ledge..next time I will bring my chair.

What a wonderful park to experience. Beautifully maintained, offering several facets, and venues., ALL so enjoyable. Dog friendly (leashes, please), beautiful walking paths and waterfront with very nice dock. Beautiful, well-planned layout and amenities. But most definitely a place to collect your thoughts and feel a sense of renewed peace. Would advise watching/following their venue. Much for many, in so many areas of enjoyment for all types. Just PLEASE have respect and appreciation to keep this beautiful place maintained and wonderful. It's so worth it!!

From the fishing pier to the little bayside beaches with the calm shallow water to the fountains for the kids to run and cool off in this park has everything. That was the free stuff then there is a great Children's museum for kids 2 to 10 that cant be beat.

I have been to several kid parties at this park. It's perfect, you have the fountains for kids to play in, a dock to fish off, a terrific area to walk and areas to just sit and relax. They have grills and tables plenty of parking.

You can enjoy the fountains or go to the beach, they have both! there are many pavilions with grills. Sidewalks encompass the entire area, which is great for jogs and walks with the dogs. The park expands north to the Tuckahoe mansion where more events are held, like music. Just north of that is the sailing center.

Delightfully maintained, shaded and designed for many to walk or stroll, chat and feel like you have a piece of the River with views of the Hutchinson Island homes, South Bridge to and from the Island as well as the water traffic. The pier awaits the fishers and observers of the water life.

This park covers a lot of area on banks of the Indian River. On the river side there is a wooden pier that extends far out in the river from which you can fish or can just sit and enjoy the view up and down the river or eastward to Hutchinson Island. This is a great place to see all kind of fish which swim near the pier and a great place from which to watch the pelicans as they patrol up and down the river and dive into the water when they spot a fish that looks ripe for the taking.
On the land-oriented side of the park, there are picnic tables, a large water fountain that invites kids to run under the spray, and lovely walk around a pond a an butterfly park which has flowers blooming throughout the year. Plenty of parking and just a really nice place to spend some time relaxing in the sun and reading or listening to music or walking and enjoying nature.

Nice little park for the family....good views of the Indian River, small beach and pier....good afternoon outing...

This park includes a Children's Museum and a Children's playground as well as a mansion and trails. If you are not with kids, and not interested in sitting on the beach, its attractions are limited, but with grandkids, it is a must-see.

This is one awesome park. Dog friendly, has a small river front beach, a pier, children's museum, fountains, and a mansion. Lots of paved trails to walk on. Friendly people. We loved this park. Really wish we had something like this in our area.

Nice views along Indian River. Good boardwalk. Free entrance. Lots of squirrels. Nice breeze and plenty of shade trees. Easy access and ample parking.

This is a frequent destination to walk the puppy around the water, along the wharf, and attend special events. Children can be seen frolicking under the water spray (weather permitting) and participating in family picnics and special events. You can find shade, water, attractions and clean facilities. Everyone you meet is casual and friendly.

This is a great family recreation area. Bring picnic preparations , take photos by the shoreline....
There is a children's museum nearby, a small water park close by and many family friendly restaurants in the area.

The park is beautiful with gentle trails and places to sit. If you visit on a Wednesday, the mansion and museum will be open. Great place to run the kids around.

This is a hidden gem in Jensen beach a beautiful walk great fun for the kids many enjoy with their dogs as well. Just a great place to chill or get your exercise. On the water little secluded beach areas a lovely place to visit.

Early morning walks, afternoons with the family, and it's pet friendly. Love it! Plus you can rent it out. I've been for multiple events and it was a great time.

This is one of my favorite places to stop and eat my lunch. My spouse and I enjoy sitting at a table and watching the children play in the fountain, or watching the river or just sitting quietly reading a book or chatting while we eat what food we have brought from home or purchased on the way. If you want, there is a pavement all around the park which allows walking for exercise or just enjoying the view. A good place to refresh your mind.

Beach area, children's spray park, fishing pier, scenic walkways. The Mansion and Captain Sewal's house, a board walk through the mangrove and marsh are, and the Martin County sailing center.

I have brought my family here several time we come for birthdays or just to hang out and have a great time. I would suggest you come early if you are interested in parking.

Excellent park with a lot to offer. The walk through the mangroves was excellent. Lots of wild life to be seen, including an adolescent racoon eating reptile eggs. Bathrooms were locked which was unfortunate (it wasn't late or particularly early). Otherwise a great place.

Always pristine, Many great community and probate events. Great addition to the community. Children's museum, Fishing pier, play fountain for children and cooling off, walking path, Mansion for events. Beautiful.

Just a nice safe area to chill and relax from everyday life. Stop here often to just watch the world go by.

There is a series of fountains that little children are invited to play in. There is no standing water, so kids can't fall and drown. The surface is rubbery. The little children love to run through the water, try to catch the water in their buckets, etc. Also, right next door is a cute "little" chlldren's museum with interactive activities for all ages. There is also a small beach on the Intracoastal with nice soft white sand, but it is quite small. Our only complaint was that there was not a playground with swings, slides, etc.

Took an impromptu visit to Jensen Beach and wound up here at this beautiful park. Would be a great place for a picnic and a small area where you can put your feet in the sand and play in the water. Our 6 year old daughter loved playing in the water fountain to splash around. Great place for a little day trip with family and friends!

Indian Riverside Park is a great water-front park with a variety of activities suited to all ages. There is a fountain that kids can play in; there is a beautiful beach; walking trails; scenic views, etc. There were a number of people fishing; there were people walking / hiking the trails and just enjoying the outdoors. On the day we visited, the temperature was particularly hot so there weren't any kids in the fountain and there weren't many people in the water at the beach but there was lots of activity.
This is a great family-oriented river-front park.

This is a very well maintained waterfront park that is very nice for taking a walk and enjoying the scenery. Peaceful except for the occasional screech from the kids in the water fountain wading pool, which is perfectly fine. There is a wooden pier to go out on, and an adjacent children's museum we didn't visit since we had no kids with us. Nice place to spend some quiet time and take a walk.

I absolutely love walking my dog at the park, and this one in particular is my favorite. There are many routes to vary the walk, plenty to see, and sniff for my pooch, as well as entertainment options for the kiddos. It really is a hidden treasure in our county! Check it out

beautiful quiet little park with mild meandering footpaths overlooking Indian river ... great for dogs

The dolphin water fall was great. A nice sidewalk promenade along the river. I liked the pier for walking or fishing.

Very pretty park along side the intercoastal waterway. We were interested in Elizabeth Mound. We walked around the ‘mansion’, with the mound being 30 feet tall. It is the second largest in the state of FL. The tallest is Turtle Mound near Ormond Beach. Also checked out Captain Sewall’s place and did the boardwalk in the mangroves. We went mid morning and there were very few people. It was a nice and well maintained park. Plenty of parking. Everything that we did was free.

This park was adorable. My daughter and I took a long walk around the large pond, and also by the docs along the water in Sewells point.

Pleasant setting. Walk out on the pier. Even a small white sand beach. Wednesdays (check for specifics) tour the Tuckahoe Mansion and Captain Sewall's home.

This park is within walking distance from Parkview located on the Indian River. Good walking trail and fishing dock.

Lovely park with something for everyone including dogs on leashes. The entire walk can take an hour, but there are shorter walks. There is a historic mansion, historic home, children's museum and we saw several families using the beach. We were very happy to find this nice park.

We have driven jby this place hundreds of times, and finally went there to have a picnic. Beautiful park on the intercoastal waterway - children's water splash area, playground, clean picnic areas, all in a very picturesque setting. Will definitely return.

Very well landscaped, with great vistas for photo ops everywhere! When we were there, the Mansion was closed because of summer hours. Looks like they are keeping up the building & the grounds. Don't miss the beautiful Poinciana tree!

Love this park for walking, and walking a child in a stroller, right off the river. Has restrooms too. It also has a great "water" fountain for the kids to play in.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit, relax with the family- here it is! Benches, small beach and waterfountains round out the experience!

Stop, relax, and enjoy beautiful water views in this lovely park where there's plenty to do in addition to admiring the scenery.

I live here year round and have yet to find a better park for all family members.the museum for children is great and also taking a long walk on the pier was fun

The scenery is beautiful. Perfect venue for weddings of which several are held. Nice for kids, bike rides and casual strolls.

This park is so nice. It has a great fishing pier and nautical museum and children's museum and picnic areas and beaches.

Always a great time at IRP. Especially this summer, i must've caught at least 20 pokemon. Sometimes its alilttle crowded and there are some weddings there, but that didn't stop me from going, great for families.

We traveled in February, the weather was beautiful, the park was quiet, peaceful, serene, great place absorb the view.

Concerts, beach and beautiful fishing pier! Bring entire family and picnic. Dogs are welcome on leash and the park is very clean

We stopped at the park at the recommendation of a new friend. When we got there, in the fountain were loads of kids, running through the fountain and having a blast, with their mothers or grandmothers under the trees chatting with each other and enjoying themselves as much as their children!! Truly a nice atmosphere for families. The park also has a nice pier that has dockage available (at least for day use). You can walk to the end of the pier if you wanted to. It also has a little beach area.

I visited Indian Riverside Park for the first time last Saturday morning while searching for a common loon and common eider (2 rare migrants for Florida, especially the common eider). It was so beautiful and relaxing on the pier and happy to include that I found the common loon. There were also a few red-breasted merganser ducks flying away when I arrived, terns and gulls. I enjoyed my visit, It is also a dog-friendly waterfront park. Nice location for couples, families, dog owners and birders/nature photographers like myself.

Clean, inviting, nice place for a walk, nice sandy beach for families, few hidden spots to put your chairs on the sand, big water sprinkler for kids, changing room and bathroom. Lots of tables and gazebos for picnics. Children’s museum. Some areas were closed due to a private wedding.

Nice walkway and pier. Teeny beach area. It was a nice afternoon stroll. Restrooms. Clean. Not much to do but a nice way to spend an hour outside.

My husband and I love this waterfront park in Jensen beach. The walkways along the water make for a great stroll. It's not very long to run, but one long loop is just about a mile. The water fountains the kids can play in offer a great option for the kiddos in the heat.

This park is the best park I have ever been to! It has everything you could wish for. Dogs just love it here, plenty of walking area and lots to see! The kids water fountain is perfect on a warm afternoon, watching everyone play and splash on the white sand banks of the Indian River, the longest dock for fishing, a beautiful pond with all kinds of bird life, you can take a walk in the mangrove area on a long wooden path or watch the sail boats go out from the USA sailing club on the north end of the park. We go every week and always beautiful and fun to watch everyone! Our dogs absolutely love being there and visiting their furry friends!

Look for painted rocks, beautiful water view area, grounds for the kids to run and splash. The museum is a lot of fun also.

My husband and I had a very relaxing and peaceful afternoon. It is really a great, safe place, to bring the kids and grandchildren.

We took our dog to the Indian Riverside Park and were pleasantly surprised at the pet friendly environment. There were lots of easy paths, water stations, and benches. Don't miss the fishing pier that affords you a beautiful, peaceful view of the water.

Great place for a picnic, walk or just relaxing. Very clean and adequate parking. Good views of the river with a large dock and a small beach area.

this park is like a mini all day vacation.kids can play in the interactive fountain.theres a beach area on the river for adults and kids.i long dock for fishing.i highly recommend this park for all familys

It is a place for quiet strolls, family picnics, music venue, or a birthday party. There is a fishing pier for those fishing enthusiasts or just a look out at the river. Picnic tables are available for families or groups. Benches are placed throughout the park to allow visitors to sit and enjoy the scenery.

This park is basically under the new causeway along the river... great spots for fishing both day and night. really well planned.

Staying locally and having read the reviews for this park it was the first place we visited when we arrived at Jensen Beach.
Plenty of free car parking and plenty to see - there are some short walking trails, a relatively long fishing pier and plenty of seats to take in the view.
Be sure to read about Mount Elizabeth Mound (interesting history of the location) there is a pleasant little beach area and everywhere was clean and felt pretty safe.
There are public washrooms just adjacent to the car park.
Definitely not to be missed if you are staying or visiting the area!

Enjoyable to sit by the water or walk and/or ride bikes along the pathways. Nice for certain events.

Very, very nice! would visit again anytime, well laid out and kept pristine, perfect place for everyone, children and families. Will have to go back towards sunset! Loved taking photos of the wildlife.

Kids loved the fountain and feeding the ducks very nice place. I enjoyed my day off with my kids there.

Great time grandson and daughter playing in the fountain. Has shaded area to picnic. Usually go down to the river but was warned it was polluted. Clean fountain. Grounds were well maintained and it is free and next to children's museum

Just found this place from a recommendation of ant other couple.have been there at least ten time in the last three weeks. It has a very nice and clean rest room facility, a walk out pier into the river tiny beach for kids to play a water fountain that sprays water for the kids to run through, and several nice walking trails.
There is a children's museum, an old mansion, and an very old fishing home that you can tour on Wednesdays I think.
We love to walk and this place has some great new this to see and enjoy.

This park is so beautiful and relaxing. They have a great walking trail all around the park, pavilions, a dock for fishing or just to walk out on, interactive fountains for the kids, even a small beach.

This is one of my favorite parks in Martin County. It has a splash pad for the kids to play in, a dock that extends into the Indian River, a pavilion for reserved parties, a board walk along the river past the old mansion (for weddings and special events) and beautiful ponds with side walks wrapping around them. There are sculptures throughout the park and The Children's Museum sits to the left side of the entrance which is a must do for those of you with kids or grandchildren. It is a great park to find a quiet place to read or to just let the kids run. Lots of trees and benches. You can even walk the beach on the river. Take a lunch and enjoy! I am not sure if this is still happening, but at 5pm the dog owners and their dogs meet over on the left parking lot side of the park and let their dogs socialize. A great spot for photos too!

I am here several times each week. The park is well maintained and the people are very friendly. I usually bring my dog and he too loves the park and getting to know the other dogs.

Beautiful, clean waterside park great for bird watching and aquatic life. Go early morning and catch the gorgeous sunrises.

Beautiful park to picnic for the day. For just to sit and see the sunrise over the water. Some times there are concerts in the park. Very clean for pets.

This is a beautifully maintained park that has trails around ponds and a dock to walk on to view the river. It has a small beach and a sprinkler pond for the kids. There's also a Children's Museum, covered picnic areas, a historic home and a mansion on the premises. Quite a gem!

beautiful park on the waterfront. People and dog friendly. Has a Small beach for kids to play and of course the young children love the various water spouts. Fishing dock. Covered tables for picnics.

My husband and I walk here frequently and really enjoy it. The walking paths are wide, some in sun and some in shade, with lots of benches if one wants to rest. It is a great place for families with it's splash pool, quiet and protected little beach, picnic areas, and its location on the waterfront and adjacent to the great Children's Museum. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained and there are frequent places for dog walkers to pick up disposal bags, which most people do. It is a little gem!

This is a nice park on Indian River Lagoon. A long pier gives nice views of the water, and the kids loved the splash fountain.

Indian Riverside Park is Martin County's best park. The park has lots of beautiful paths and trails that provide multiple experiences. The River walk takes you above the Indian River on the east side of Mount Elizabeth, and over the water on the the fishing pier. There is a hidden nature trail behind the historic Captain Sewell's house that meanders over a wetland and through mangroves.
The park has numerous places to picnic and enjoy the afternoon. You can picnic on the sandy beach, under the shade of oaks, or along the banks of one of the park's lakes.
The park is full of activities for all ages, so be ready to spend some time in this great park.

The park is very well laid out and very popular. The broad Indian River is a great attraction as well as the Children's Museum. Fine venue for parties, receptions, birthdays, etc. Many walking trails and a great dock reaching out into the river. A great family place!

We were planning to go to the children's museum as it called for rain. But it was so beautiful we just walked around! The view was amazing! The kids had so much fun play on the beach and look for lizard. At the end they can play at the splash park. No matter you are looking for a romantic spot, or for family, highly Recommend to anyone!

Held one of our daughters weddings here. The staff is exceptional, the grounds are very well kept. The facility is great! The docks are always fun to walk out on. Recently was here for a family picnic. Used one of the covered Pavillion, had a blast. You can rent the pavilions (as well as the main building for private functions. All very reasonable.) for birthdays which we have done, also.
We always like to go here!

By far the best place to go for a walk with your furry little friend...take a leisurely stroll or a quick go around.

Great Place for Walking..
Great Placefor Everything..
It is Beautiful..
We Enjoyed being here..
It is right before the town of Jensen Beach..

It's a lovely and peaceful area with a great way to walk in the pier, enjoy the water and enjoy palm trees swaying in the breeze or fish.

The Florida Treasure Coast is perhaps less popular than the Gold Coast near Boca Raton, but it has uncompromized natural beauty and charm.

Experienced a quick, but wonderful ride through this amazing park on a tour with Stuart Segways. Loved the pier and the mangrove walk. Saw a great playground and fountain that would be wildly entertaining for young kids. Wish we had found this park earlier in our visit and been able to explore the park on foot!!

This park is so beautiful and quiet. We've been there a few times, it's very relaxing.
It has a real nice peer to fish off or just enjoy a walk while you see many water birds, like pelicans and seagulls.
There were kids and older folks enjoying the parks, so it's great for young and old alike.
We met Capt Bob, great guy with many army stories and two great kids feeding the seagulls and pelicans. It also has an interactive play fountain and beach. It all seemed pretty wheelchair accessible to me. You can also bring a picnic. It is very beautiful, come and stay for a while.

This park is beautiful and has something for every age. Walkways and a great pier for fishing. It has a water park for the children.

My husband and I visited recently when staying at Jensen Beach. Someone had recommended the park to us. We decided to go there and watch the sunrise.
It was absolutely Spectacular!
Very quite, felt safe. It was also very clean and well kept.

Park on the Indian River with many walking trails, a children's museum, and small beach area. Perfect for walking your dog, exercising or an early morning stroll. Picnic areas for families with shelters, picnic tables and benches.

Beautifully landscaped ground with fabulous dolphin fountain greets you to this lovely place. Ideal for a shallow cleanwatsaltwater swim or kid's romp in the squirt fontain. Lovely paced walking trail winds throughh the ever beloved Florida trees and riverside flora and fauna. Fabulous two storied commnity center ideal for gatherings from weddings to special venues and lectures. The Evinrue museum room and the fihing history room are so nice. Often free music and bbque events! It's just a wonderfulplace to be.

Indian Riverside Park is a wonderful park to visit in the Jensen Beach / Stuart area. Whether with kids or dogs on leash, there are many paved walking paths, many in the shade. There are pavilions that can be rented, and a free splash water fountain fountain for kids to play in.

This park is always well maintained and always has a lot more to offer than average parks in the area. With the fountains, mini beach, boardwalk and Children's Museum it is a great place for a family to spend an affordable and fun day.
It can be very crowded, specially when weddings or other events are taking place.

A friend was married there in November 2018, ceremony was on the ground floor with the water as the backdrop (beach like wedding without sand!) and then, they had their reception on the second floor. They were able to bring in their own caterer, decorations and everything which helped control their budget and create their own special ambiance. It was an awesome evening, I would highly recommend it.

Nice trails...nice beach and fountain for kids...lots of people walk dogs here. I have come here a few days a week for years. Best park in the County for a walk...

Enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk and fishing pier bordering the Indian River Lagoon. I've watched dolphins frolic and sting rays glide across the sands from the pier. There is a small beach where children and dogs can play. The views from the Tuckahoo mansion are spectacular. While I usually walk the perimeter that includes both sunny and shaded areas of native plants, there are also picnic tables and other outdoor event amenities. Great place for family outings or quiet solitary walks.

I had a little party for kids :) the children enjoyed these afternoon. It was nice, lovely but a problem was it was windy :( Nice views, very cleans.
It supposed is pet free but you can see people walking with dogs. For me I don’t have problems :D

great place to walk ,eat ( bring your own food ) and has a nice pier. It has a remolded old mansion and is a old indian burial ground. Great for kids too water fountains and a sandy small beach

I live in Jensen Beach, half of the year and so I know everything that you can possibly do there. Indian River Park is very nice, but comparatively small to most other parks. Jensen Beach is really a "Salt Life" town. Everything revolves around the beach and fishing and water sports. Most people from the general area know Jensen Beach, mostly for "Jammin Jensen". That is a weekly event every Thursday night where arts and crafts vendors line the streets of lower Jensen Beach Boulevard. It is a lot of fun and and all of the bars and resturants are packed. If you are ever in Jensen Beach on a Thursday night - try and make it there, you will have fun!

Love coming here to take a nice relaxing walk. Its so nice there! Love the fountains and walking out on the dock. Ive lived in Jensen for over 25 years and have seen this park evolve.

Great water views, nice shallow beaches Into intracoastal water, fun fountains for kids to play in, lots of walking paths to excercise humans and dogs. Overall a great park to visit and spend an afternoon.

Great park with access to the lagoon as well as fountains and a play area. The lagoon was shallow and allowed for great fun with new swimmers. The fountain was perfect for kids of all ages. All around great trip.

A popular park right on the water , plenty of facilities for children to change in , there are fountains for children to run and play in , and also a small beach area with shallow water great for families. Covered picnic tables , and a board walk . Love this park .

Bring your kids, their friends, your friends and pets. Nice paved walking trails, pier into the Intercoastal, plenty of open spaces and covered picnic areas

We visited park to walk the path. The park was full of visitors using the docks, the pavilions, the water fountain, the museum and the Mansion. Always something to see and do

What a beautiful beach. Plenty of parking, plenty of sand, refreshment stand, rest rooms and the ocean lapping at the sand. Even over Christmas holiday, the beach was not very crowded, plenty of room to sit with the lifeguards watching over you. The water was so blue, the breeze light and the smell of the ocean, priceless.

This is a lovely park on the ocean but there are a lot of these type parks in the area. It is pleasant to sit on the benches
spread around the park however and just catch your breathe. I like it was it is not worth a special trip to go.

Beautiful park near the bay. Lots of areas to walk. Beautiful shade trees. Very quiet also. Pet friendly.

Young and old alike will love this park. You can walk your grandchildren under the giant oaks and shaded sidewalks . There is a fountain park for the little one. Shower available if you decide to take a swim in the river. If you have a dog this is a pet friendly park and your fury friend will meet many new friends. Bring a blanket and picnic basket enjoy the day. Pavilions are available to rent for all occasions as is a huge hall.

I had not seen this park but we decided to stop by over the holidays with family. What a great little park. We went late in the day and the parking situation was fine. It was a beautiful, clean spot. We had the area mostly to ourselves. It was well designed and easy to get around.

Visited the area and well maintained. Good for little children and dogs. Water fountain park for children, small beach area with nice view of pier and bridge. Water is quite calm and shallow. Dogs also allowed. Nice hidden spot in Jensen Beach.

Spacious park with walkway and pier along Indian river.plenty of parking ,venue for festivals and concerts.worth a visit

My family and I never miss a chance to visit Indian Riverside Park when visiting Jensen Beach. Dog friend, it has a small beach and a long pier with benches all the way to the end. It's a lovely place to end the day or take a walk after dinner.

Great place to go towards sunset. We took our daily walk through the park and up onto the bride where's there are benches to watch the sun go down.
Most people go to fish. There are picnic tables and grills.
Just go and you'll see. Martin County did a great job setting up the park and their maintenance is just great.

Great for walking, jogging, family events.
The Indian Riverside Park is a fantastically beautiful park to visit. Walk or jog along the Indian River, visit the children's museum or Captain Sewalls home. Great facilities and parking. Safe. With a nice beach on the Indian River. The Mansion at Tuckahoe is beautiful. The sailing school is great for adults and kids alike.

I live local and this is one of my favorite parks in Martin County. Its huge, plenty of room to roam and the fountain is a plus for the kids. We usually walk our dog a few times a month here and she loves the squirrels! The main part of the park has its main building, courtyard and long fishing pier. There is also a Mansion that was renovated and is used for wedding and sometimes even live music events. You need to just explore the park. The Childrens Museum this on this property also and is a great place to visit with small kids. Mine is 17 now and he's "above" that now. Take the time and enjoy the park and what it has to offer you.

often have art shows here and other events, can have family bbqs or birthday parties...excellent pier for gazing at the river. great dog walking paths . water fountains that the kids can play in. an all around family fun park

This park is the favorite of dog lovers who walk here. There is almost a mile long walking path around the park. Do stop and visit the Tuckahoe Mansion when open on first and third Wednesdays from Sept to May.

Numerous unleashed dogs everyday. Today my child and I had to protect ourselves against 3 unleashed dogs within the first 15 minutes we were there. One of these dog owners I had reported twice before. Another of the dog owners I have reported at least 5 times, including their license plate number. The Martin County Sheriff refuses to enforce the leash laws and trivializes all complaints to discourage you from further reports.
In the three-county area this year, there were 700 dog bites reported to police and the state health department through September, yet only 269 citations were issued for unrestrained dogs in that same time. (TC Palm, 12/11/19)

This is a great park! A wonderful place to walk, even though it is a bit hilly for FL. It is right by the river so there is a nice breeze. A lot of dog walkers will be there.

Went to this park, which is great for Families with children. . This was 2015 for a reunion with classmates,Former school was St Joseph coll of Fla.. The Grounds which are now this beautiful Park, was once the school I attended in the early 70's. Jensen Beach is a great place to live. And this Park is one of the reasons.

Years ago The citizens of Martin county voted in a one year one percent sales tax hike to pay renovation the the property that used to be called F.I.T, Most of us were skeptical but all agreed that such a beautiful piece of property was going to waste, the hike got approved and short while later the park started to take shape.
Whoever was responsible for he design and management of the project did an amazing job and we now have one of nicest parks around that gets an amazing amazing amount of use. The best part is that it is free..
Love the park and when my kids were younger we were in the fountains we were in them all the time..
So pack a picnic lunch and get the kids down there it is s great park with plenty of free entertainment to be had

This is a great park for kids with all the water the park has for kids. A nice place for a picnic. The park is on the St Lucie River, a beautiful view.

Great for walking dog while on vacation....Clean areas...great docks to walk out on river. Bathrooms. Doggy bags.

This park has it all: many paved walkways, a splash fountain for kids, a beach on the river, Children's Museum, a nautical museum, a huge grassy area in front of a two story building perfect for concerts outside and festivities inside, an ancient Native Indian mound, a pond and more. We love walking our dog here. There are many benches from which to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Indian River.

Indian RiverSide Park is the premier family destination park in Martin County. Located in Jensen Beach, It is a 63 acre park that sits along the Indian River lagoon. Park amenities include a ¾ mile walking path and mangrove boardwalk, 780 foot fishing pier, interactive play fountain, beach, four picnic pavilions, and beautifully landscaped gardens and open grass fields

This was a great area to walk around. There was a pier going into the water, a mansion that was closed but we walked up the stairs to get the view. There was a lake nearby with a wonderful interesting tree that you can climb on and take great photos.

RiverSide Park is an excellent place for family fun and get together. You can walk into the river, walk on the pier or walk the long sidewalk. The is a children's museum that you have to pay to get in. Put his on your bucket list.

The water fountains are enjoyed by both children and adults, who want to cool off on a hot summer day. I personally got soaked over and over. There isn't a charge to come here, and the park has bathroom facilities. It's situated on the beautiful Intercoastal waterway and there is a very long dock that you can walk on. If you're lucky, you just might see dolphins out there. This is a fun place to visit.

What a wonderful place for a morning stroll. The wooden boardwalks are easy on the feet and the views of the river are outstanding.
The children’s museum looked really nice and watching the kids frolicking in the fountain was wonderful

This park has a beach a pier and museums. Just GREAT. You can relax or fish or take in the museums. There are three museums here - kids, boats and a 1920's mansion.

Beauty along the Indian River lagoon. Gorgeous setting with fishing pier, historic building available for rent, pavilions for shade, water fountain for kids, walkway along river, nearby US Sailing Center.

Indian Riverside Park is 63 acre park along the Indian River Lagoon. The park was opened to the public in 2001 when it was created from the land Martin County purchased in 1997 that included the Mansion at Tuckahoe and surrounding property. The park has a 3/4 mile walking trail and boardwalk through the mangroves, fishing pier, splash pad, picnic pavilions, butterfly garden, lakes, and open lawn.
There are three buildings available in the park for rent for private events. The Mansion at Tuckahoe was built in 1938 for a Coca Cola heiress on top of a 4,000 year old Native American midden. Captain Henry Sewall's House was a post office built in 1889 and moved to the park. The Frances Langford Pavilion is a two story banquet space overlooking the Indian River. The park is also home to the Treasure Coast Children's Museum and the U. S. Sailing Center.
On the night I visited there was s prom at the Mansion at Tuckahoe and a wedding at the Langford Pavilion. If you are having an event the historic buildings are lovely with the beautiful park providing the perfect backdrop for photos. The park is also wonderful for anglers and boater while children will enjoy the splash pad and museum. With over 4,000 years of history at this spot there is something for everyone to enjoy.

After supper a quiet drive on the waterfront. Nice mot to have 1000s of crazy motorists honking at you.

Beautiful long and well maintained pier, with a nice breeze to sit and watch flying fish. Seemed like a very tranquil area. Splash pad was super...wet. Kids look like they are having a blast!
Beautiful Park Along the Indian River
This is a beautiful park with a lot of walking trails and a decent fishing pier. I thought, based on previous reviews, that there would be more to do here but it was beautiful none the less and a great place to walk around. The Children's museum is in the park and they do have music the 1st Sunday of every month. If you are looking for a lot of things to do here you might be disappointed.
