The town of Kissimmee is to be thanked for all the work and money they put into the revitalization of the Lakeside Park. It is large enough for a good exercise walk, and the lake with it's wildlife is magnificent to behold. Many families and other groups can be found there enjoying themselves. Down to the left (west end) is the Marina with boats and fishing, and a very nice concession stand where you can pick up some quick food and drinks. For a great place to relax, this can not be beat.

Large paved pathways, beautiful scenery (lakefront) pavillions, concession stand cafe, kids play areas with many fun and challenging playground pieces , covered areas, open lawn water themed area for kids when warmer,
overall a nice place

Wonderful Park to visit if you want some quiet time. We saw many birds, the walkways are wonderful; there’s a small very nice spray park for children and a playground. We brought our dog and he just loved walking thru the park.

Kissimmee lake front is the place to be out side , very nice , clean and great for a sunshine walk on the lake

We seen at least 5 gators, turtles and many different birds from small to extra large. A must do and is free!

If you love nature you will love lakefront park great place my free outdoor Gym when I'm visiting:D many people come to enjoy a family's picnic day you can even celebrate birthdays or anything this park is huge a lovely place if you need some fresh air pet friendly a must

Beautiful views and fun to see the alligators and other wildlife. Always fun events planned here. Splash pad is fun for little ones. There is a playground, pavilions and a cafe.

We've travelled to Florida since 1990 and to this area every year. We did not know this place existed until this recent vacation. What a picturesque place so quiet and peaceful (when we visited) and clean. So if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, we can't recommend Lakefront highly enough. We saw such a variety of birds, and other wildlife, around the lakeside, more than we have seen anywhere else. We will certainly be back.

Nice place, equipped, restful and quiet, well maintained lawn and trees, there is a sign to watch out for snake caimans but I did not see anything 🤣

Love the new renivation I remember how it was before. The BBQ areas are great. Will be renting a area for a BBQ in June.

Everything you could possibly want in a park! Playgrounds , BBQ grills and pavilions, concessions, multiple restrooms, marina with bait shop and restaurant, small water play area and of course the beautiful lake to walk your dog, take a run or ride a bike along. Close enough to walk to downtown and check out the local shops, bars and restaurants. Always hosting events too like movie in the park or food truck bizarres just to name a few.

....that's not so hidden. Beautiful walkways; pavilions; green spaces; views of Lake Toho. Looking forward to my next opportunity to stroll along the lakeside and the First Friday event.

My family went there for the 4th of July fireworks presentation. Got there early and walked around. Lots of space and shops close by to look thru while waiting for fireworks. Great antique shops if you are looking for that. Amazing! Great place to visit.

My girlfriends and I visited this Park when we were in FL. It was wonderful sitting at the picnic table chatting, enjoying the sun, and watching families enjoy the outdoor grills and the pavilions for private parties. One can walk, rollerblade, bike, jog or simply sit and enjoy the park. Very family oriented and kids were vert happy enjoying the splash pad.

Nice place for family with children to go for the day. Playgrounds too. Little cafe onsite where you can get food and ice cream cones. Walking distance from historic downtown Kissimmee.

A great little park on the water. Washrooms on both ends. About 1 km long. Be careful when near the water as their are things in there to keep away from. The park is great for walking.

Great park, wide open, nicely landscaped. Huts available for get-togethers, reunions and the like. Grills available. Restrooms available. Parking is nearby. For walking, cycling, ball games.

An additional, important and appreciated, aspect of this park is that it is wheelchair accessible from the ends and the sides!!!
NOTE: The term "breakwater" on the warning sign apparently refers only to the boardwalk at the far end. The concrete path is open and takes you further into the estuary.
If you have the time, you can sit on one of the numerous benches and just listen to the cacophony of bird calls while you are looking at the water and sunsets. So enjoyable on so many levels. All ages can enjoy this park.

This place is very good to do exercise because has a good area to walk with a nice view also has a super cute playground!! I love it!!

The Lakefront Park is a true hidden gem in Kissimmee. Visit on a nice clear evening and there is a beautiful sunset and the atmosphere is fabulous. Families with their children playing at the park, all the shelters with barbecues, lovely to see friends enjoying bbqs out in the open. Thoroughly nice place to visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed walking this great, open park that has wide, paved walkways, restrooms, a cute splash pad and playground for the littles with picnic tables and shaded pavilions equipped with large charcoal grills and ceiling fans. Great birding location! Hours are 7AM -10PM. Lots of benches and Adirondack chairs for sunning and resting along the way.

it has many things on weekends, you can have picnic, read a book, take a stroll, the evening is beautiful to watch the sun go down, it also family time

Kissimmee’s Lakefront Park is a great place to spend a few hours. Lots for kids enjoyment. Two playgrounds, water fun area, wide open grassy areas for running, flying a kite etc. pets are welcomed too. Lots of educational stuff there. Information about native plants, how they are used at the park and all about the use of rain gardens.

beautiful place for everyone
watching alligators, fishing or just walking
peace and quiet
nightlife a few minutes walk away
best of all its free

This is a must see. This is an awesome lake and park. While sitting there a friendly (?) Alligator came swimming by. We saw all kinds of birds, turtles, fish swimming by. We spent half a day there and will go back again. They have long sidewalks to walk along the lake , shelter houses and some grills you can use.

A wonderful development , a transformation of an old power plant and surroundings, congratulation Kissimmee Council for a brilliant redevelopment....early morning misty sunrise just the birdsong , wonderful.

It's been a while since I strolled through the park. All the improvements are lovely. Love the colorful lights in the evening. Hope to catch one of the events soon.

The paths were well-maintained while the grounds and scenery were beautiful. There were strategically-placed Adirondack chairs scattered on the grounds looking over the water. A splash-pad was nearby offering children (as well as anyone else who wants) an opportunity to cool down. The park is a peaceful spot where people can lounge in the sun or get their steps in for the day. There is ample opportunity to catch wildlife in their natural habitat. We spotted a baby alligator as well as a crane. There are great spots to fish for those that enjoy that activity. There is ample parking in the street as well as free spaces in the large parking lot.

As Kissimmee Lakefront Park is almost in our back yard .. My husband n I enjoy walks, bike rides, festivals/events in the park. We enjoy seeing the families/children spending time together. The City of Kissimmee keeps it very clean. It's pleasant n enjoyable.

This lovely park is great for a multitude of activities. Want to just relax and watch the world go by? No problem, lots of good seating, in or out of the sun. Watch the wonderful bird life, you may even spot an alligator out in the water. Family and friends can have a fun filled gathering in one of the numerous gazebos with great amenities. A great place to recharge your batteries.

This park was a fun little park with a splash pad for the kid's to keep cool amd fun to walk around and see the water with fish and birds worth taking the family to have a nice break also has a small playground overall a very nice clean park to visit with a cool small lighthouse and proximity to food and entertainment.

Our family loved multiple visits to the lakefront park. Multiple playgrounds, plenty of open green space, and plenty of wildlife to view on the lake.

Great place to walk/run/bike next to the lake. It makes for a nice day out with the family. Enjoy the calm!

The park has a variety of locations where Pokemon is spotted as well as a green light on the dock that reminded me of the book "The Great Gatsby". At night, the park has less visibility due to the amount of lights in the area. I would suggest bringing a powered up smartphone as well as a flashlight to make exploring easier.

I came to the park for the fireworks of the 4th of July and was surprised how pretty and big it is, it has many nice areas to hang and for the kids also. The fireworks were awesome. It's a nice and relaxing park to be. I personally loved it.

Unfortunately, we found ourselves in Florida during a rainy week. We wanted to see the Lakefront Park but looked like the weather would not cooperate. We got a break long enough for us to walk around and see some small gators, and a wide array of birds. It was a very nice place. We felt safe as there were others there and we saw several law enforcement cars. I would love to go back for a longer visit and see the sun set.

Decided to do something different than visiting the Disney Parks. This park was really nice. Very relaxing to sit by the water and walk around. It is simply beautiful. I would highly recommend spending a few hours to unwind and destress. You won't be disappointed

What a find on the Kissimmee lake shoreline! We saw loads of birds, gators, turtles & fish by the jetty - plenty of space to have picnics & its all free! Fantastic

This is a great area in downtown kissimmee, beautifully landscaped overlooking a lake, cafe, areas for kids to play in and out of water. Picnic tables barbecues cover cabanas for rental for group events. Well worth a walk around to relax.

Such a gem to find, which gave us a different perspective of Kissimmee. If you are here on a family Disney trip, this is worth the short drive to reconnect with nature in some quite solitude. We arrived in the evening, which makes for beautiful photo opportunities, plenty of water birds about, even spotted an alligator or two, bass fish and turtles.

Why Have you all not invested in work out equipment for the lakefront? No calisthenic bars? Nothing. Please add workout equipment for outside

This park is really beautiful. Lots of walkways and places to sit and relax. And nice to be able to visit Post 10 American Legion.

We decided to take a stroll at the park and just enjoy the weather. There are benches along the way and we just sat on one of the benches at the edge of the lake. The wind was pleasantly blowing and the temperature was great. Folks walking by, or ridding their bikes. Other couples just strolled along the way. At a distance parents sat around the children’s play park watching their kids play. This is the perfect place to just disconnect and “let your hair loose”!
The best part is that parking is free!

The place is trashy which is probably caused by the Puerto Rican food truck that sells food there. The customers simply throw their trash on the ground. Too lazy to walk 20 feet to a bin. No peace here either because of the gangster cars.

This a a waterfront park with picnic areas, restrooms and free parking. Great place to walk or sit and watch birds and people.

Very nice, clean park by the lakefront. Nice place for family outings or to go for a walk and enjoy the scenery. There's places to fish by the water, and a boat launch for boaters.

If you come to Florida wanting to spot an alligator, this would be the place! We saw many alligators and there is a wall around the water that keeps the alligators from you but doesn’t restrict your view of Lake Tohopekaliga. There are playgrounds, reservable picnic shelters, room to walk and bike, and room to play.

Very peaceful, clean bathrooms!!
The lake beautiful and no trash!!
People exercising, walking and friendly!!!
Very safe!!!

Great picnic area and playground for the children.
Open fields for games and right next to the lake front in downtown Kissimmee. Rental pavilions are available for birthdays and special events. Lake Toho is one of the premier bass fishing lakes in central Florida. Many native wild birds to see in this area. Also there is a concession stand. Overall great place to spend some time.

This is a very peaceful " get away from it all" area. There were birds everywhere. The walk around the lake was a great place to walk at your own pace. There was a washroom handy and a great playground that looked like it was kept clean. We had a good laugh at the splash pad that kids could " play" amongst a crocodile, wild boar and a cougar. How fun is that! Things we hope kids should be afraid of !

Breath taking sunsets and gorgeous views from the Marina and surrounding areas...
the park is very entertaining for the little ones and relaxing for more mature people!
Nice place to enjoy a walk by the water, or just relax while watching the kids enjoy the playground and/or water areas!
Not too much parking, especially on weekends if people are going to the Restaurant next door or just using the Marina/boat ramps... but is really a great place to enjoy some family fun time!

Completed in 2019, this new park is a nice place to walk, bicycle, picnic, watch wildlife, fish, etc. Historic markers give you information on history (hideout for Seminoles when they were being forcibly removed by the government) and wildlife. You can do longer or shorter strolls. Nice example of urban planning.

The new lakefront is very pretty and picturesque. The lighthouse is interesting. When there is no one there, or a light crowd, it is really enjoyable. We went to a chili cookoff a few weeks ago and it was over by 1:00 and there were only a handful of participants but what seemed like hundreds of arts and crafts. That was disappointing.

The park has so many activities, you can have picnic, small parties, get together as they have different areas for rents. Also, different kind of bird watching, just sit there and relax, enjoy the moment with people walking by, enjoy the water dancing, calm and peaceful place.

Great playgrounds for young kids, also lots of open space to run around, go for a walk on the lake ground. We use this area to burn of extra kid- energy

We enjoyed a walk to the lake, it was very quiet and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of Orlando.... we were surprised by the number of birds by the lakeside, and even an alligator!

Beatiful walking area, lots of wildlife to see and hear. Great place for bass fishing, we did not do any fishing but there were quite a few people out doing that from the pier and in boats.

We were flying out in the evening and were looking for place to spend the day after checking out of our hotel. We saw there was a huge park by the lake and decided to explore. The parking was free and the park is beautiful and large. There is a large walkway along the lake which is beautiful. We saw an alligator sunning himself and there were many children playing. There are also a few places to eat for snacks and lunch. We also saw that the downtown area of Kissimmee is very quaint and nice with many restaurants and quaint shops. We didn’t have time to explore there but glad we stopped here for the afternoon.

Such a lovely undiscovered area! People say it’s just for families hiring out the outdoor public bbq areas for birthdays and events but such a nice outdoor space for a stroll around with friends or a date.
Ice cream vans on site without being too commercial. Pletny of people fishing and I saw 3 aligators whilst there as well as a turtle and lots of birds and lizards! Well worth the visit! I’d rather go here and see gators in the wild than go to gatorland to see them in captivity.

This location is truely the pride of Kissimmee. The park serves as backdrop to one of the largest lakes in Florida. Lake Tohopekaliga is screne hosting all manner of Floridian wildlife. The park is pet friendly, wheelchair accessible and bicycling activities. It has a small spalash area where park goers can cool off from the hot Florida sun. (Mainly designed for kids) And play grounds are located throughout the park.
There are also Pavilions for rent for locals to host a special events. And ample seating for people strolling throughout the park who want to just take the scenery all in. Best of all are the delicious family owned resturants located within walking distance of the park. Don' t be a bore, explore and try something new.

This is a very nice place for a walk with plenty off places to sit and have a packed lunch,
there is a small cafe to buy a drink or a snack at a good price.

This is a very relaxing spot if you wanna relax and enjoy the water birds are plenty occasional alligators and really love sitting and watching wildlife and enjoying the calm.

A clean park. With good walks. Gators , birds. Friendly people. Nice walk to the lighthouse. Good walk around the lake.

A taxi driver sat in Walmart car park recommended we visit here. So glad we did. Got to see gators in the wild. It was late afternoon, and a couple under the pier. Was hoping we would see one out of the water on the bank, but unfortunately not on this occassion. Lovely boardwalk althought fairly short and quiet. The park area has communal bbqs and benches under canopys, just bring your own charcoal and food. Not many tourists here.

this is a great place to take a walk sit by the water and let the kids run around or fish take a good book put on some walking shoes and just hang out

We first tried visiting here in the evening but was so busy we couldn't find anywhere to park so gave up. We went back in the morning and was much quieter.
A lovely place to spend a few hour looking in the shops which were all very different, next to it is fun spot which we didn't visit and there's a few places to eat.

This park was remodeled a few years ago by the county and is lovely, educational. Suitable for walking pets, having birthday (or other event) parties under shaded patios. There is a little concession area (check their hours, though). Lots for children to do and safe play equipment. This park has a little bait shop at the end with some burgers and breakfast eggs available. It's about a mile to bicycle end to end, and very pleasant. It makes for a charming morning, or day when the beach may not be as nice but the weather is.

We parked at the Big Toho Marina and went on the bike path that led to Neptune Road. On Neptune Road you travel on a sidewalk and can ride all the way to St. Cloud. The bike route was very scenic, particularly around the lake. The park area around the Marina is great, especially for children. There are several play areas, and you can even have a picnic here. I recommend trying this bike path.

Lots to do in this beautiful park if your not strolling or enjoying the magnificent lake you are stopping by to enjoy some icecream .There is constantly something going on this great community park it is also dog friendly restaurant nearby also

This place is an absolute gem in an area of tourist traps and noise. We visited and enjoyed the lake front sidewalks, many benches to sit, covered areas, close to town to pick up food or drinks, or one of the park cafes.Birds are abundant and we did see a few alligators. Area very pet friendly. By far worth the visit.

We decided to spend a day away from the theme parks and visited here. We stopped off to pick up a picnic from Subway before parking up (there were lots of spaces when we arrived at 13.00) and walking along the lakefront.
The highlight was seeing the wild alligators up close, swimming under the pier and a turtle!
Afterwards we stopped at the water fountains to let our son cool off (remember to pack a swim suit) while we looked on and sat and chatted / enjoyed our picnic. There were also 2 different play parks (one of which is a park for toddlers). It was very clean and tidy and the grounds were very well maintained. I didn’t see a cafe but there were ice cream vans and BBQ facilities
There was a also a restroom available which was clean and tidy.
We headed home a different route and it was great to see Kissimmee old town. A great diversion from the busy theme parks!

Easy parking nearby, short walk to the town centre, restaurants and shops.
Saw a gator and a snake!
Covered areas available for picnics.
All free of charge.

When we arrived at the lakefront, it was not as we had expected as there was not alot to do there and the water/view was not exactly picturesque unfortunately.
There are tonnes of much better lakes, walks, views etc all over Kissimmee.

Stroll along the beautiful shores with your spouse or just relax in the park with your family. Old town memories.

This place is lovely quiet and tidy. Plenty of wildlife and to sit to take in the views. Great place to go to get out of the theme park race

This area has been tastefully updated with shelters and seating. The pier allows you to go over the lake and watch the alligators swim past below.

The park is located along the lake with nice even walkways. Two big playgrounds and one small water splash area attached to one. A lot of green grass area where people would chill or play ball, dog friendly.
A few fishing piers, one marina with a little store where you can get something to drink and an small stock of fishing supplies.
At least 4 restrooms along the way. Picnic areas, roofed, with tables and benches, of which most where rented for party's, we where there on a Sunday.
It was sunny and we even got to see 3 alligators in the water.

nice weather easy location to find pretty lake, quite, adequate parking well worth the time to located and enjoy the area.

a lovely place to visit, have a stroll and relax away from the crowds.
free parking pretty much everywhere
its lovely just walking along the waters edge, lovely open green space for the kids to run safley and a cute little playground with little water splash area

The revitalization of the lakefront is simply amazing. The boat launch area is well organized, ample dockage for tournaments. Traffic flow and parking are good. Lots of playground area for kids and families. Restaurant area is well done. Walkers and runners will love the sidewalk along the lakefront, plenty of wildlife to see.

We went and took pics int he park. It was great specially when the sun was coming down. At night the walk around was relaxing and enjoyable.

huge lake which has a picnic area and seating in Kissimmee. Free parking close by.
If you are lucky you will see am alligator swimming close to the lakeside.

Good place for you to walk, run, have a picnic time with friends. The park itself does not have many attractions (yet) but it is close to a sold mall city where you can have an enjoyable time. There is a pier and you can see and maybe interact with the wild nature.
Positive: picnic tables that remind me of Vancouver, Canada.
Negative: Not many picnic tables and only one little covered spot.

Family reunion birthday celebration. 4 of us decided to see a sunrise and walk a trail. The walk was fantastic. Unfortunately a cloudy day prevented a gorgeous sunrise but the walk (saw 3 alligators from a safe distance) was wonderful.

Kissimmee Lakefront is a very nice and clean kept area. There is a nice trail to run on around the lake.

Had a drive here on a day that was looking a bit iffy weatherwise. parked up and had a walk along the lakefront spotting the birds and in the rare hope of seeing something gatorish. Saw birds but nothing prehistoric lurking in the water. Nice and relaxing and places for families to dine and play.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk by the lake. It was very clean and, though well-populated, did not feel crowded. Lots to look at along our walk, a true Mecca for people-watchers! There were clean restrooms, lots of places for kids to play, many day-trippers, and a general feeling of safety. Unfortunately there was a stampede of calves we did not know about , so we were caught in traffic for quite a while. Very pleasant place to spend a morning or afternoon.

A very nice place to relax - but if you want peace and quiet just walk away from
The kids playground. It's rewarding seeing happy faces of kids playing in the playground however if you would like to relax just keep walking and enjoy the view sitting at one the benches facing the lake. Great for families.

Perfect place for a walk, run or picnic. Great view and atmosphere. Very clean. Would not hesitate to visit again.

There came a point on our holiday when we felt rollercoastered out so spent an afternoon having a picnic by this lake. Ideal way to chill.

Nice areas to walk and cute playgrounds for kids. Maintained areas to rent for parties and lots of bathrooms.

We visited the Kissimmee Lakefront park on a cool and rainy day in February. Despite the weather, there was an abundance of birds and wildlife to view including a gator strolling the weeds. A walk with lots of shelters and pit stops (for ice cream of course) along the way. Budget about an hour to an hour and a half to walk from end to end and back including time for pictures.

We found this park on our second last day of our holiday and liked it so much we came back on our last day too! Lovely space for a walk around with great scenery. The kids loved watching the lizards jumping around on the rocks near the lighthouse! The play park was great for them to run around and splash park looked fun. Parking was free which was surprising but a bonus! Lots of nice areas to reserve for parties and gatherings, if we lived here we’d definitely come here for a kids party,it was a great facility

Love this park, great walking paths, entertainment and lots of parking.
We parked and went fishing with Bass Online Guide service, lake was so beautiful.
Highly recommend a peaceful day or evening at this park if the opportunity comes about.

I was looking for a nice spot with a view to run. This lakefront spot was such a sweet place. Probably better for a family visit, a nice walk or a great place to sit and read a book. Part of the trail was under construction but I was able to squeeze 5 miles in by repeating my turns. The views were so stunning I had to stop often for a picture. Lakefront Wildlife is plenty and fun to watch.
If you are looking for a quiet place to take a break from the Orlando madness check this out.

Kissimmee Lakefront Park is a great area to spend part of a day. One may stroll on a path along the water, have a picnic, rent a pavilion for an event, or take a boat ride from the marina area.

If your looking for a place to take a nice walk and enjoy the view this is the place, take advantage of the lighthouse and let the kids enjoy the splash pad and park. It is newly renovated. You can ride your bike or skate or a nice picnic.

This is a simply stunning location to go for a picnic, or simply just have a walk. It was very hot when we went, but plenty of places to get shelter and toilets along the way. There are chairs along the grassways and tables and chairs set up in the sheltered spots, if you fancy eating there. Felt very safe as well, as saw loads of people working there and a police officer walking through

Very nice family-friendly place. We watched the sunset there -to the sounds of some great drumming on the nearby lawn. While the place is swarming with young children, it is still very easy to find a quite spot to just enjoy the sun & the breeze.

The perfect natural place for radio controlled boating, for which nowhere among the thousands of lakes in the Villages area is sensiblyl accommodated. I see they put buoys out as a start, then the engineers and landscape designers, clearly with no consideration of acquiring the simple knowledge, got it ALL hopelessly wrong. You'd almost think they did it on purpose! Nonsense pontoon access design, trees exactly in the wrong place, when the right places up the bank sit empty! Massive shame and lack of thought.

Nice area for relaxing. Not busy at this time, you can walk by the sea. The park is near the old town centre so can also walk over there.

Great park, very nice lake, beware of Pokemon Go players. There are many pokestops here and it is a hot spot for them.

Fun times with the family every time we visit! The splash pad is amazing for the kids and if youre a pokemon hunter you can find the best ones there.

The promenade at the lakefront can offer a perfect place for a relaxing stroll. Because of the water it makes a perfectly chilling breeze. Well worth your time, a lot of birds and wildlife. Did not see any alligators.

Total transformation from 5 years ago. A lovely place to go and just relax. Plenty of parking (Free) and all amenities very close by to Old Kissimmee which hasn't been taken over by commercial enterprises. The City of Kissimmee had the right idea when they built this fabulous green space.

Great for a picnic, an evening stroll, a walk with the dog, bike riding, roller-blading. Check their website for family events.

Lake Tohopekaliga is a natural beauty! The park features a wide sidewalk along the lake shore allowing relaxing strolls, rollerblading, and bike rides.

We went just to have a look it was well worth a visit for a couple of hours saw alligators and various birds and best of all it’s free something hard to find in Florida

This is a lovely place by the lake, and the path around is very nice, we were two people, it was Tuesday morning around 9, could not see anyone else, just peaceful.

fun to go on a sunday walk and see all the wildlife and people fishing, may see an alligator sometimes events on

A beautiful, amazing and clean, we spend a few hours here, just relaxing a seeing the lake and the park.

Did not live up to any of the advertising. This is simply just a walkway around a really big lake. Clean, safe just boring. not going back ever.

We decided to drive to the park just to relax a bit. It's a large park with places to walk and picnic. There are open restrooms. We saw an alligator in the water. And hardly anyone was wearing a mask, which was great!

Nothing much to excite a tourist - we drove by en route to visit the Kissimmee War Bird Museum
The war memorial is nearby the lakefront and maybe a pit stop if you r a vet .
More of a recreation spots for locals rather than tourists on the Disney trail.

Went here for a walk along the lakefront on a very cold Friday in December. We were delighted to see four sunning allegators and a turtle. Birds included ahingas, ibis, egrets, blue heron and a bald eagle. Returned the next day and it was much busier with ghetto blasters and large groups so not so much wildlife around.
Apleasant place to go midweek to walk or go for a run.

We went as a family after lunch one day. We walked the path and saw birds, alligators, and fish. The kids enjoyed the splash park and the playground areas. We went by the lighthouse but it had a barricade. The path out by the marina was closed off too. Wish we could have gone in those places too but we really enjoyed our time here. Free parking and plenty of it. They were setting up for a movie night when we leaving. Wish we had known in advance.

Love this park !! Very well laid out, nice walking paths, beautiful surroundings !!! Water splash pad, restroom facilities - all very clean and very nice !! Nice, quite break from all of the 'touristy' things in the area

This place is amazing and very relaxing area to explore. Absolutely beautiful wildlife. If you want to watch the sunset that’s the place.

We had a very nice walk here. The sidewalk is not very shady, but there are several shelters, benches and a few trees. Nice little downtown park. Nice to look out over Lake Toho.

This is a great place for romantic walks in the evenings, some spot have gazebos for rent for parties.

An oasis - well looked after, relatively small park areas, but excellent shaded food shelter which were popular with families, plenty of grass, safe and a lovely view of the lake.

Nice park, with a nice splashing part for kids. Good for family's to go too or people to play football or other sports. Easy and free parking close by.

Lovely park for walks along the lakeside spotting the gators & nesting birds but also ideal if you have little ones as the playgrounds are lovely& clean & the splash park a must do for toddlers!

Another jewel in Orlando’s hidden leisure amenities. Avoiding the packed parks and endless ride queues, not to mention the highway robbery prices, why not take a stroll through the neatly manicured Kissimmee Lakefront Park. We visited at 9am primarily to watch a rocket launch from Kennedy, but then enjoyed a wildlife packed stroll through the well maintained gardens. From alligators and turtles to a multitude of different birds and fowl, and leaping bass. Well worth diverting off the usual trail either early morning or late afternoon/evening to avoid the sun. Sunrise and sunsets here can be spectacular.

Just stopped by on our way out of town and walked around the dock. Just to the left was a larger alligator and a baby alligator that looked like he was going to try to eat a bird. We were too early for lunch but there was a place to buy food, plus picnic tables. Thoroughly enjoyed the view and how peaceful it was.

This lakeside park offers a lot and is very clean and inviting. It is also just a block or two from downtown Kissimmee. We didn't have any issues with parking the Saturday we were there. Nice place to walk and take a stroll.

Good place to go for a walk and unwind after visit to the theme parks, quiet, kids play area and wildlife nearby, even saw an aligator eating fish during a walk around the lake

We had a great time, it was a beautiful sunny day. The temperature outside was clear, you could see all around.

I visit this park often and am always rewarded for doing so. This healthy and safe environment
restores us and rejuvenates us in very natural ways.

Wonderful walkways, lake access, boat launches, boat slips, docks and lots of nice BASS! The marina store is well stocked with bait and fishing essentials, friendly staff, and serves a good breakfast.

Free parking. Saw 3 alligators and lots of birds. Nice scenic place to go and just relax sit or have a stroll on the waterfront.

We had a fine time at this park. There are many different things to see and do. It seems to be used by many locals and visitors.
We parked in the main lot, and walked to all of the attractions, including the Monument of States, tiny lighthouse, and war memorial. We'll be back when we are in town again.

Having stayed in Kissimmee for 17 nights we were looking for something to kill time whilst we waited to make our way to the airport and we chose this park. Firstly the old town is lovely and has some reasonably priced quality diners, bars and restaurants so we ate breakfast then headed to the park.
Having been totally amazed and fascinated by the variety of wildlife wherever we went we were not disappointed here. During our stay we had regularly seen herons, birds of prey, cormorants, pelicans, alligators, turtles, a variety of lizards and fish. We we certainly not disappointed here!
I thoroughly recommend a couple of hours wandering or just sitting on the prom as you'll be amazed. Alligators and Ospreys were my highlight when we visited 👍🏻

We rented a boat for half a day to fish, unfortunately they weren't biting and it started raining. However this lake is beautiful! There are many multimillion dollar homes to see, lake has many spots to just park your boat and simply enjoy the scenery. I only wish we had more time to explore but the rain cut our day short. We will try again later this summer.

Since the remodeling at Lakefront it has become a great place to visit. You get do it all from launching a boat to having a BBQ with friends and family. Great job setting this up to be such a great place for families...

This park has been around for a few years. It’s directly on the water and children and pet friendly. Every time we pass the park it very active. The people in the area take pride in the park as it’s always clean and family oriented. On the weekend there are always activities, food trucks and entertainment. There are also covered areas with tables and grills. Great for individual parties, although you need to reserve the covered party areas.

Stumbled across this park and this event while looking for restroom for my wife. While she went potty I employed the fabulous sight sounds and smell.
Turtles wouldn't hold still for picture.

Got to congratulate city authorities (or whoever commissioned it) along with whoever designed this park because they did a tremendous job. Wide pathways with plenty of seating areas either on benches or brick sections built into the path side along with sections going out into the lake itself are simply excellent. And, from all of the pre-planned parties going on in each of the picnic sections, it’s obviously appreciated by the locals themselves!

Walking trails by the lake, fishing areas, boating ramps, food. Very nice outdoor space for any and all.

Lots of walking and we saw lots of Florida wildlife. Plenty of things going on at shelters. The marsh area had gators that we spotted and trail was very quiet and eventful. Definitely go if you have the time.

Its newly renovated. Parking is great except on the weekends when locals enjoy it. There's a play area for kids, a snack bar and an extensive paved path along the lake for walking or biking. There's also a boat slip.

We had a nice time walking along the lakefront. Saw a couple of baby alligators and it was a great day for a walk.

Dog-friendly park with free parking! It's a great location for birding and seeing alligators. It also has several fishing piers, picnic tables, restrooms, and grass to play on. Note that several walkways of the park are currently closed.

This was such an amazing lake. The scenary was breathtaking and plenty for all to do. My kids enjoyed the food and refreshments sold there.

Just a gorgeous park setting along the lake. Picnic tables, benches, a faux light house. Waste bags for dogs. We thouroughly enjoyed our visit. So much so, we came back the following week for a picnic lunch. If you have a dog, or kids, visit this park. Its a great setting.

Absolutely lovely park found on Google when looking for something to do on one of our days in between visiting Disney parks.
Beautiful parks; long, clean walkways; shaded pavilion to eat in; great splash pad for kids; plenty of parking.
We mainly visited to let the kids (3.5 years & 20 months) run around in the splash pad & play in the park:
- Splash pad was awesome & kids absolutely loved it. Really busy with summer camps & groups but large enough for all the kids to run about & play without the numbers being problematic.
- Park wasn't so successful, although covered, the bottom 6 inches of the chutes were still hot to touch. Older children seemed unaffected because they came down so fast & sprung off but my two are too young to understand so couldn't use on the day.
We visited twice & had a great time, would definitely recommend.
(Got a parking ticket on 2nd visit, my fault as I didn't realise I had to park in the same direction as traffic but I mention this from the point of view that clearly parking area is well policed. It is right next to the court house so maybe not that surprisingly).

Strange how this is a big park and there is nowhere to workout calisthenics. There should at least be some kind of calisthenics equipment or something to keep people fit. All you can do here is walk.. ridiculous.

Enjoyed spending an hour before sunset walking along the lakefront. Free parking and clean park with great views.

The Lakefront park in Kissimmee is wonderful! It a tranquil, pleasant area to stroll enjoying lake Tohopekaliga, the grassy areas, the three parks, the marina and so close to Down Town where one can enjoy the little local shops, coffee and restuarants as well.

Kissimmee is not just a town close to Disney, it has it own character that is both historic and wonderful.
The town itself shows a different side to the theme parked area and the lake side is magnificent. We saw all kinds of wild life from exotic birds to crocodiles.
For a peice of old Florida this is the place to go.
Eddie Eccleston

We visited in July and were able to find enough shade to enjoy ourselves. We saw an alligator, all kinds of different shore birds, and enjoyed the serene lake. There are also interesting memorial sculptures to view and lots of people having parties at covered pavilions. 30-45 minutes in enough time to spend here on a hot day.

Beautiful views and place! Children's splash zone is a must for a cool down on a hot day, not many boats in the marina when we went past but still very picturesque.

After the hustle and bustle of Mickeys Christmas party, Kissimmees lakefront is a million miles away , just down the road. Florida grass needs walking on barefoot, it’s so soft n springy. Dragon flies still abound in November ( a good thing by the way),as do the local head-bobbing Anole lizards. You can spot Ospreys quite easily ( rare as hens teeth in uk ), and the loud but pretty iridescent black plumed birds are Grackles, apparently.
It’s still fun to spot wild gators on or around the piers and a stroll along the lakefront with a stop in the free seating is something we never miss on a visit to Kissimmee.

Nice and quiet place to visit. It was peaceful on the day we visited and hope its always like that. I will recommend it to others.

This is one of the best, most accessible places to spot gators in the wild near Central Florida's world famous attractions. If you're interested in exploring beyond Central Florida's theme parks and the 192 and International Drive corridors, this park is a great stop. It has two playgrounds, a splash zone for kids, and picnic shelters. But more importantly: it faces Lake Tohopekaliga and offers a long, accessible, very picturesque paved trail along the shore of the lake. And this is from where you're likely to see gators. There are a lot them. The last time I was there I spotted half a dozen in about one hour. Sometimes you have to keep your eyes peeled to see them swimming in the distance. And sometimes you get lucky and they are very close to shore. But trust me, they are there, not far from you, its just a matter of being patient. Beyond gators, this park is paradise for bird watchers.

It is a nice park with pavilions that can be reserved. Has a nice walk around the park by the lake, saw a small alligator some different birds. Nice wide path for walking or bike riding, jogging, On the outside area is a monument with stones from different states and some countries, Went there twice and always clean and places to park.

This is a very nice park that is kid friendly, several playgrounds walking paths by the lake. A nice place to relax by the water very safe environment to get away from all the tourists stuff

This is a great park for kids with 2 playgrounds and a long shoreline path. We spotted 3 small alligators and a turtle so the kids were very excited. If you have small kids and don't want to lose one beware of letting them climb on the wall by the water as there's no fence and if they take a dive it would be really tough to get back up!

Very nice but dont go there too often the male staffs are creeps and hit on underage girls that they see alone. However the park is genuinely nice. Nice view.

I like to go walking there when it’s not crowded or too hot. There’s no special trail or anything, just views of the lake. I nice spot for kid birthday parties, they have movies on the lawn on a big projection screen, fireworks on the fourth and restaurants nearby.

My husband always finds us a fun place to visit off the beaten path on vacation. This year he found Kissimmee Lakefront Park!!! The park is impeccably layed out and very clean. There are several play areas and even a splash pad for children. If you are looking for a treat or drink to cool down, try the park's snack bar (which takes cash and credit). The park also has charcoal grilling facilities for your use. Great place to stroll and enjoy the day and Florida wildlife.

This park is quite nice. It was a hot spot for Pokemon Hopefuls for a long time. The park itself has plenty to do. Their is even a water area and open field to play in. Their are plenty of spaces to rent for parties too!

This is a beautiful park along the lake. Plenty of unique birds to see. Even saw a bald eagle. The unique Monument of States and near the park.

What a nice contrast to the expensive theme parks in the area. This park is a lovely park on the waterfront of Lake Toho in downtown Kissimmee. One can stroll the waterfront and take photos of the beautiful birds. There are picnic tables and pavilions, two lovely playgrounds, a concession area, and a place for the kids to play in jet streams of water. If one so desires, it is an easy walk to the various downtown restaurants.

Nice park in the evenings they have a Spanish religious services going on. Everyone was friendly and the park was somewhat busy with people bike riding and skateboarding. this is a nice safe place to bike, walk, jog, or just a stroll. The vies are very nice and the lake is pretty big compared to other area lakes.

made a grat start to our morning to take the walk along the water and look over the wall to watch the various types of birds in action.
Quiet, clean - there is a pavilion for rent, but there are also picnic tables so you can simply have a spot to sit and munch.
Can park along the street or there is a specific parking lot at the western end of the park off the main road.

Spent a great morning in Lakefront Park, which could have been the whole day, as was so peaceful by the lake.
So much wildlife to watch , especially the alligators trying to catch the turtles for lunch.
Large variety of birds, including spoon bills, storks and even a bald eagle.
The facilities are ideal, with restrooms, bbq's, splash area for children, fishing pier, marina, and lots of grass and seats to just chill out.
It's the place to go when you've had enough of the theme parks, and the parking is FREE.

It's a very nice park. We came here to kill some time. After walking around 30 minutes, we'd seen it. It took us longer to drive here than the time we spent here

Stopped in to share a picnic lunch with my love. Plenty of tables and gazebo that were clean and comfortable. Park is large and well maintained. Great effort to keep it natural with native grasses and plants. Watched an alligator play near shore. Many play areas for kids. Recommend.

We spent approx 90 minutes here. A nice splash area for youngsters and small play area. We went on a morning approx 11am very quiet only a few mothers with young children. We had a nice walk along the lake front and had a good opportunity to get some really good photos. Would I go again, probably not as no need , but glad I went on this occasion

After a fairly heavy schedule of visits to two theme parks, Kennedy Space Centre (fantastic) and the Everglades, it was a joy to slow down and enjoy the cool breeze and walk by the lake. Whilst views are lovely rather than stunning, it is easy walking with places to rest and sit or just keep walking. No hills, all flat. It was Mothers Day on our visit and it was also interesting to see families arriving for B-B-Q's etc.
Whilst there we visited the Abracadabra Ice Cream Factory nearby - 520 North Main Street, Kissimmee. Really interesting to have your ice cream made to order (literally) with your own selection of what they call 'Toss-ins' (added flavours) from a very extensive selection available. Not cheap but very high quality ingredients and polite service too.
If you're looking for a relaxing morning or afternoon in this area you could do no better than here. If you like ice cream as well, get the car started as soon as you can!!

Soothing visit to lakefront park, some folks fishing, kids playing, lots variety of birds. Beautiful lake views and scenic walkways with palm trees on sides

Lovely day at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Great for walks and loads of parking spaces. Lots of wildlife to see. Just don't go into the water as there are snakes and gators waiting for you.

The park is amazing! Not overly crowded, great bike paths and nice picnic areas. We brought the kids for a picnic and afternoon fun in the splash pad. However, the ice cream truck music was SO LOUD we couldn’t hear each other! We thought he’d sell for a few minutes and move on but he parked and stayed for the entire half hour we were there, so we left and moved to the other side of the park.

Ideal to spend the day with children or to relax. It has bathroom structure, place for snacks. Fun guaranteed for everyone.

Want a Great Lake front park, beautiful views from shore but even better from the big Eco-Tour Pontoon that disembarks from Big Toho Marina. The small quaint restaurant Captain & Tequila Dockside has some of the best food and definitely the best views in Kissimmee. I give this all around a 10/10, and a must see/do while in the area!!!!

I love this park! With the renovations, it's beautiful. You can run, walk, bike ride or just sit down and relax. They have playgrounds for the kids, some chairs to sit and enjoy the view. They always have something going on. I enjoy that the Osceola library is close, just walk to it. They even have a little eatery, you can buy a snack or drink. It's just beautiful.

The place is nice for a walk. The playground is ok but not exceptionnel....
In the evening, when we tried to see aligator, there were too many mosquitoes.

Absolutely beautiful place:
wildlife (I've seen gators, osprey, water fowl, wading birds, etc)
events
pokemons are rampant
boat ramp
places to sit, spend a day, kick around a ball, etc.
Gorgeous park.

The accommodation, the flight and parks ware amazing.we enjoyed the holiday so much that, we didn't want to come back. The days that we decide to stay in the villa was also awesome. So, you can book a vacation or holiday and decide to enjoy the villa.

There's not a whole lot going on here, but that's a large part of its charm. Just a nice, aesthetically pleasing place to stroll in the sunshine, or to sit and bask in it. There are barbecue facilities available for use, and on the first Friday of each month, from 6 pm to 9 pm, there is the City of Kissimmee Food Truck Rodeo, which brings an eclectic mix of Orlando area food trucks to a single location.

Nice and quiet park. Went there for a stroll, nice place where families gather to celebrate birthdays. Beautiful playground for kids, wonderful sights across the lake.

My only two complaints is 1. How busy it gets during the weekends and 2. How filthy the park is Monday morning after a busy weekend. Apart from that, this is just a scenic and delightful park.
It is well appointed and the engineers did a wonderfully well thought out plan for the remodeling. There are plenty if gazebos for parties/gatherings and ample space for activities. The park can use some more bathroom stalls but they do have them in every main area of the park and they do bring in additional out houses when they expect larger than usual crowds.
You can find myself and cousin as well as other locals working out daily at the park to take advantage of the scenery and tranquility.

We had a mini high school reunion at this park! Lovely pavilions, with electricity by the water. Set up with tables and chairs for 24 people. It was a beautiful day, and the park is filled with history.

whether you want to go fishing, boating, or even to just enjoy nature it's a perfect place to see.definitely going back

Great for a sun set stroll at your pace and take in the Florida wild life. The lake front has been re Vamped and is nice and safe with plenti of parking.

We went here for a walk and thought it was very nice. The village itself is also woth going to. Lots of small shops and nice places to eat

i like how it has changed over the years, definitely nicer looking than in the past. has a park and a library good for families.

This park is amazing. Water, wildlife, greens, food, park benches, a children's splash pad, and bike trails checks all the boxes. Gorgeous!

It was my first trip here, beautiful area to take a family. Highly recommend a stop here for everyone.

The name is a giveaway, a large park next to the lake. Great facilities, plenty of grass, play areas for the kids and sheltered areas for extreme sun or occasional rain. Didn't even know it existed until this trip although we've been to Kissimmee numerous times, just goes to show that two weeks a year aren't enough. Great antidote to the noise and high pressure sales in the theme parks, a free area to detox. An absolute must for the weary traveller.

This is a very relaxing area to explore. It's not the best skiing / wakeboarding lake due to the largeness of the lake. It's well worth walking around the lake to watch the sunset.

I recently had a wonderful solo trip to Lakefront Park in Kissimmee, Florida. The park was so tranquil and peaceful, with stunning views of the lake. I was able to take a leisurely stroll along the lakefront path, admiring the beautiful scenery and the wildlife. The park was well-maintained and had plenty of amenities, including picnic tables and benches to sit and relax. The sunset was breathtaking and I was able to take some amazing photos of the lake and the surrounding area. I felt so relaxed and refreshed after my visit and would definitely recommend Lakefront Park to anyone looking for a tranquil evening solo trip.

Kissimmee Lakefront Park is well maintained, has facilities, parking, a lot of lake front. They have all the water activities, along with trails. They have animals on land, fish and such in the water, birds everywhere.

This is a great place to go for a picnic, bike ride or just a casual walk. Family oriented, with covered pavilions for picnics. There are also good restaurants reasonably priced in the area. We biked arpound the lake and saw alligators, turtles and many water fowl. You can also rent boats to go out fishing.

At first I was sad they they changed the old Kissimmee Lakefront. To my surprise after seeing the finished product, I love it. Great for singles, families, parties or just lunch in the park or water watching.

You can see a variety of wildlife here. From river otters to gators and various types of birds. Lovely place to go for a walk or rent a shelter for a baby shower etc

Visiting with my relatives who lived on Dakin Ave. the LakeFront Park at that time was a very peaceful area

We parked down by the marina and had nice walk along waterfront.saw birds big and small though not sure what some of them were.nice little cafe does coffee, ice creams etc about half way along.saw smallish alligator just by side off the wall and also turtle on some rocks just by end of the walk.was there for 2 hours just to cill out.there no parking charge for car park.oh and as a bonus drove through downtown kissammee.

It is very well kept, clean and litter free. Lots of benches, some beautiful trees for shade. Lots of birds to be seen, including ospreys catching fish. The lake is beautiful. There are toilets, drinking fountains and a cafe. Downtown Kissimmee is a short walk away and there you'll find diners, shops and coffee bars.
The locals are very friendly and all in all it makes a very nice break from the theme parks.

Must see park. Was there on 2 February 18. Theresa's an Bass Pro Tour fishing vent taking place. There were numerous gators, turtles, a snake and numerous water foul. All in their natural habitat, what an experience. Lots of places to sit, clean restrooms and facilities. Small restaurant in the marina, friendly staff. Well worth the visit. Appeared to be still cleaning up on the parks fringes from the hurricane??? lots of FREE parking.

The lakefront has recently been remodeled with two different playgrounds, a splash pad, and multiple covered picnic areas. A large area to play catch a frisbee, or spread out. You have plenty of benches along the way where you can watch people fish. Parking is free. It is also close to downtown where you can explore shops or eat at one of the many restaurants. On 4th of July they have fireworks, a live band, food trucks and other entertainment for the kids.

This is a place that is not Disney it’s a great place to chill out and slow the pace down have a walk at your pace and have a ice cream or a cool drink and relax

This is a beautiful public park. It is well-maintained, has facilities and is quite spacious. They have pavilions for private gatherings or parties. The parking could be a bit better - but, parking seems to be an issue no matter where you go anymore.

What a fab place to chill out , lovely to sit overlooking the Lake watching the birds and alligators. Information signs were interesting and most welcome. Will certainly re visit on our next trip .

We come to this park a lot on the weekends, there is almost always some sort of festival going on. The picnic pavilions are always busy with family gatherings and there are a number of things to keep the kids busy.

Amazing in an open free walk area you can see different animals and crocodile/alligators.
Playgrounds, nice weather make it a perfect afternoon walk

I stopped by to see what there was for birds, and found it an excellent place to see a variety of waders, including a good variety of herons, many white ibis, and a couple Limpkins - a life bird! Easily accessible and an easy walk, there are also a number of pavilions available for families looking for a good picnic spot.

Very clean and pleasant walking next to the lake. Lots of benches to take a rest and/or just sit and watch the wildlife on and around the lake.

must visit for relaxing walk and the views of the lakefront park is amazing, grab a bite to eat whilst maybe catching a glimpse of an alligator, which we did

Very picturesque and a lot of wildlife to see; numerous gators sighted and would definitely recommend.

This was a real find - having had pretty much two weeks straight at Disneyworld, we wanted something more relaxed and certainly found it here. The Lakefront had a $30 million revamp a couple of years ago and it looks amazing. As well as the obvious lake (complete with wildlife including alligators) there are fantastic family facilities, with public barbecues, a great play park and splash zone, lots of water fountains and shady terraces plus masses of grassy expanse for the kids to play in. A perfect place for a quieter family day, within walking distance of Main Street for restaurants etc.

Visited with my family during a Disney trip. It was lovely to get out into the quiet and just sit and watch the various wildlife go about it’s day.
Plenty of shade for the hot sunny months or when a tropical storm decides to hit.
Kids played in the water park to cool down.

This is a great place to go for a holiday. The park for kids had plenty of activities for the kids. There is a splash park on the other side of the park. Plenty of bathrooms on the grounds. We loved taking pictures with the Lakefront as the background. Had a great time.

We always make time for a visit when in the area. It’s a great what they’ve done with the area, there’s a play area, cafe and toilets. They have a farmers market one afternoon/evening which we had a stroll around. It was just the 2 of us but it would be a great place to bring the kids. My husband enjoyed a few hours fishing and there’s even a bait shop at the marina end.

Such a peaceful park with beautiful sights, we chose to have our wedding here back in 2014, every time we pass by we’re flooded with beautiful memories. Now we take our daughter to play at the park

This small park that overlooks the lake is a bit over engineered for my liking. But you can still manage to find some nature with the colorful gallinules on the lake and lots of osprey and Eagles to be seen. Paved walkways , lots of seating areas with tables for a picnic lunch, , and plenty of clean restrooms. Parking lot is large and no fee for parking or entry. There is a small Cafe near the parking lot that sells really good Ice cream cones .

Came here with a picnic and a stroll with my daughter, really a picturesque place to visit, with parks for younger kids and paths to get you close to nature. Plenty of seating areas and places to enjoy a picnic.

My family and I visited here looking for something to do that was free. This was a very nice and clean place to visit. We enjoyed walking out by the light house tower and the park.

we took a walk in this park, along the lake. Saw 4 gators and lot sof birds. very peasent, but I would be concerned if it were very sunny as there is little shade

This park is extremely nice the view of the lake is great and the facilities are great, I packed a lunch and took the grand kids there they had a blast. There is a splash pad that is really neat and it came in handy because the day was very hot, there is also nice playground equipment, Very clean, there are tables and grills for you to use at no charge they also have pavilions if you are planning a larger event they are for rent.

Came here on a recommendation from one of our waitresses and we were glad we did. Nice area and away from all the tourist areas. Very clean and well kept. Splash pad area if you have kids. It was great to sit by the water and enjoy some fresh air.

A great place for a walk and to escape the hustle and bustle of Disney and universal.the wildlife is amazing. A lovely place to picnic and bbq if you want . Has a coffew shop ans history and an amazing war memorial. The views over the lake are fantastic and beautiful. Loads of wildlife must visit. You scan go fishing out on the lake.

This short trip to the lake was incredible. Great to see locals loving their community and park. My wife and I will do it again. So relaxing away from the main reasons people come to Orlando. Downtown Kissimmee is incredible as well. This short side trip was so worth it. We would recommend to anyone, family, a couple completely felt safe

We are here during COVID-19 and after Disney shut down. We were looking for things to do and this was perfect. It was such a peaceful and beautiful walk along the lake. While there we saw alligators, turtles, and many fish and birds. Even if everything was open I would come back again!

What a gorgeous park! Lovely scenery and many people were out walking/jogging with their dogs and kids playing on the play ground. They have quite a few pavilions for a picnic lunch or an event. There's a lot of wildlife near the water as well. We saw several different birds and a few alligators and snakes. This was a really nice place to go for a walk and get some exercise.

Easy walk. We saw birds, turtles, snakes and 4 gators. Benches everywhere. Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

On the edge of the historic area of Kissimmee, a very nice park for enjoying a picnic, walking, biking... the city has done a nice job creating an accessible, open, multi use lakefront park, and close to the Historic District.
We bought BBQ takeout and made the quick trip to the waterfront to eat. Great open spaces, clean washroom areas, and walking trails.
Nice place to take a breather and enjoy the outdoors.
If you are in the area, stop by, it's easy to find and enjoy.

I always like to visit here a couple of times during our visit to Orlando - it is such a beautiful place. Very peaceful and the sunsets are beautiful.
There are lots of birds - cranes, ospreys, herons etc and aligators in the lake.

Visit Often, very relaxing and awesome views.... Would recommend to anyone. Families, couples, singles.....

We always make a point of coming to Lakefront Park when we are in the area because we love it here. It’s a beautiful space that is well kept. There’s ample seating, grills, amazing views and our children adore the splash pad and playgrounds.

A well developed area for families with plenty of choice of things to do, places to eat and space to relax.

This is a hidden gem close to all of the false theme parks and unnatural walks in Kissimmee/Orlando. It is ideal for a bbq, picnic or just a stroll.
Wildlife is everywhere, in the lake and in the trees. Alligators and birds abound.
Ideal for a family day out or even a quiet time as a couple.
I have marked it down slightly because the lake has a lot of plastic bottles on the banks. This could be cleared easily but the staff seem content mowing lawns that didn't need cutting. Keep the lake clean or wildlife will suffer.

not a tourist spot which is a plus in my book. great scenery, well kept, & nice amenities. would definitely return to this park.

Stopped here to eat a picnic lunch under one of the many shelters. The shelters even have a ceiling fan! Kids were playing the playground, bathrooms were available. Great view of the lake. We didn't have time to stay long, it seemed like it had so much to offer.

a beautiful setting for a nice relaxing family picnic , walk or fishing, this place is really nice and relaxing.

Great park. There’s room to walk, sight see. There is a water fountain for kids. It has some shade. Bathrooms and a small restaurant. Very enjoyable

My husband and I (we are from the UK) have just returned from holiday in Orlando. Because of the COVID situation, we were looking to keep outdoors and explore nature reserves and parks, and to photograph the wildlife.
We visited Kissimmee Lakefront Park 3 times, and found parking really easy, and we loved the leisurely walk on the lakefront from Neptune Road to the Marina.
On each occasion we saw alligators, they are easy to spot, just keep looking, and the variety of birds we saw and photographed was amazing. We saw Great Blue Heron, Egrets, Blue Heron, Limpkin, Anhinga, and the beautiful and elusive Green Heron. The Grackle birds were chatty and the red winged Blackbirds were gorgeous.
The walk to the Lighthouse gives great views of the lake.
The park was never busy, and we walked to the historic Main Street and had coffee and cake there.
We would not hesitate to recommend a visit here, it seems many miles away from all the traffic on the 192.

Was staying in Kissimmee for a two-week holiday in Florida and visited the Lakefront one day midweek. The place was relatively quiet with not too many people around.Whilst the views are not spectacular they are interesting enough to keep one engaged. Great for a leisurely walk around the lake for those who like walking despite the numerous warnings to look out for alligators!

We visited the park following the reviews on Trip Advisor. It was a very hot day (high 90F's). The park is lovely and well worth a visit. However, on the day we visited the covered areas for eating your picnic were all "Reserved' for groups/ clubs etc. meaning there was little or no shade for everyone else. Not sure how you can check prior to going down to the area on a hot and sunny day but be prepared just in case.

First time on vacation in US and enjoying the independance day.
The lakefront park is nice but on the 4th of july iT is great. Starting at 17/1730 there are foodtrucks, live music and a great atmosphere generated by the local people.
All this in a relax vibe leads up to great FireWorks.
We Loved iT 👍👍👍

This is a very lovely park. I’ve been there several times and it’s alwats very clean. It is a big park! Lots of playground for kids. Walking around the lake chances are you will see a gator or two. Very enjoyable. A plus, it’s also very popular for Pokémon hunting.

Kissimmee Lakefront Park has everything. A splash park for the kids to share. A great place to walk and get a little exercise. The snack bar is conveniently located and reasonable. We live in the area and we still love to visit. Close to downtown and shopping.

I looked up things to do in Kissimmee before we left because this time around we were trying to avoid crowds and do more "natural" things. When I saw there was a small lighthouse here, I was hooked!
Although we've vacationed in the Kissimmee area several times this was the first time our GPS took us to "downtown Kissimmee." This park is beautiful, with wide, clean walkways. We saw lots of birds but no alligators. The rest rooms are private and clean. There is a small snack shop onsite.
If you're looking for something free to do for a few hours to get out and stretch your legs, this is the place!

We decided to drive down just to do something a bit different. There were very few people there - just three JWs sitting on a bench. We saw an alligator which was fun for us!!!!!
The water did have some rubbish in it but the lake is pretty vast and quite impressive. There is loads of space for picnics and a really nice place to walk

Nice way to spend a few hours walking along the lakefront. There are pavilions available for group - see the county web site for reservations and play ground for children. Saw people fishing in several areas. Lots of wildlife, birds, turles and gators were all out on the day I visited.

a very nice place to relax with family and friends , it´s also close to other points of interest like Oaks National Golf Club if you like sports or shops like Bass Pro Shops if you like me like camping and stuff... i suggest to take with you UV solar protection and water too :)

This is a fantastic park that you can spend the whole day on picnic. We had lunch on the lawns and watched the small boats coming in, it’s a fantastic lake front great for walking, kids can play around. Good bath rooms and abundant parking, there is a small light house as well. What it lacks are tall trees to offer shade. Has some good table and chairs under cover to make up for it. Nearby downtown offer some good restaurants as well. Will go again.

For a community park, this pace is very cool! We had some extra time to burn off after the airboat ride before heading to the airport and stopped by for a visit and to walk a bit. Lots of people (in a good way), pretty views, etc. After being on a swamp boat tour, it was not quite as exciting (duuugh!), but it was a great place to walk around and enjoy the water, lots of birds, fish, turtles, etc.

I'm not from the area so I didn't know what to expect coming here. First I was surprised by how big the lakefront was, I would guess that its close to a mile wide. Second, the layout is very nicely designed very inviting and family friendly. Third the walking areas really put you close to nature, I wasn't sure if I was going to see a gator or anything but I did, for the first time see several gators in the wild. Super cool.

Went to Kissimmee for the day and had a pleasant walk along the Lake shore. Watched wildlife including a really close up look at an alligator off the fishing pier which just made our day. Overall a very lovely walk.

View ok, Had great time. Lake clean and relaxing. Enjoyed stay great to take kids. Over all good fun.

Loved this area. We saw a Bald Eagle, Rosaete Spoonbill, Wood Stork, Alligators, Anhingas, and so many other things. A great place to spend several hours before we had to make it to our flight home

I read about the park on Tripadvisor, so we sought it out for an impromptu picnic during the week. This park is beautiful and clean. There are many shelters with tables and benches along the walk at the edge of the lake. You will likely see alligators and birds enjoying the park as well.

LOVE THIS PARK!! Everything was so clean and neat!!! It was perfect for my morning walking!!! Was on vacation and adventuring around, we found this gem!!!
Perfect for relaxing, reading, a picnic!!!
Plenty of space and lots of bathrooms!!!!
And fishing too!!!

Great place to bring kids and family of all ages. They have coordinate great events here, such as free movies on big screen, Caribbean festivals, fire works and some great live bands. Also has a spot for boat owners to do what they need to enjoy the water. Plenty of spots for families to schedule BBQ's and BDay party's.

Wonderful place to enjoy a walk, picnic, kids splash park, fishing & boating, etc! Always clean; with enough space for special events like weddings, corporate events & family get togethers!

This city of Kissimmee park is located at the northern end of Lake Tohopekaliga. Not to be confused with East Lake Tohopekaliga which has its own lake front park but the city is St. Cloud.
I visited on a weekday (Wednesday) and there was not a lot of activity. That's what I wanted. A quiet place to enjoy being out-of-doors. There was a group of children (maybe from a daycare facility) over in the kiddie place but that was no bother. I brought a book to read and there are many places to sit and do just that. I also like to watch the wildlife, mostly birds although one other time we saw an alligator. This park is well-maintained and available for about anything you want a park for. It is a good place for a picnic – tables and grills. A good place to do your jogging. A good place to fish. Looks like you can arrive by boat if you wish. Delightful and a compliment to the city of Kissimmee.

It's the perfect place to practice photography, take the kids to the playground/water park, have an ice cream cone, practice yoga or celebrate an event.

This must be a state park. Nothing is being taken care of. There could be and should be a nice park for a family outing.

Nice place to see Lake Kissimee and some birds and alligators. Nice board walk along the lake. Toilets available.

This was quite an amazing feat, notably donated materials, remembering a sad time in history, but shows solidarity. The rocks from different countries was amazing. Loved seeing canada 🇨🇦 and especially our home province Nova Scotia

Stunning beautiful location. Easy to find. Plenty to do from walks to cafe to sitting and enjoying the view

This little gem was about30 min. Drive from our hotel at Kissimmee. There was free parking , playground , tables, etc.
Not sure if we were just there at the right time but To our
delight we saw many birds, turtles, & about six alligators of various sizes . They were seen swimming , lounging about
(One with a turtle sitting on his tail ) It was a beautiful Park , not sure of the length of the walk. We walked back & forth several times. Very nice place to visit.

It’s ok has a kids park and a ice cream and drinks kiosks
It has a long walkway round the front where you can see all manner of wildlife at certain times. May be an alligator

For, walking, jogging, bird watching or gator watching this is the place!! Kiddie little water spot area fun for families !! They did an awesome job on renovations!!

Heard about this area from our landlord...It was great...the experience of all the wildlife...Gators, variety of birds types...The cleanliness of the area, The venues all around the lake...Friendly atmosphere...Was an awesome experience...Enjoyed it immensely...Will be going back again

Not crowded great rollercoaster not expensive.great time for the girls to enjoy thrill rodes. Weather was perfect.

If you go to Kissimmee you need to see this beautiful lakefront park it has a play ground lots of pavilions for parties ,fishing ,boating wild life, walking around and even have coffee shop it’s just lovely, movie in the park and other activities a must visit.

Very relaxing place we saw 4 alligators in the wild and a snake it made you realise were we are! Nice cafe with excellent service! Memorial very moving to sit and think about!

We really enjoyed walking around this park with its scenic views. There were people walking, jogging, bicycling, and pushing strollers. The bathroom facilities were very clean. There was also a playground for young children. The only thing that I thought odd was the gentleman selling clothing by the bathrooms. Nice park.

I really like to go to lakefront park to chill and have some great family time, my son like the playground and the water splash very much

This is a lovely place to walk. There are gardens and lawns and lots of outdoor tables. Children can have a great time in the water splash area and on the climbing equipment.
A small cafe is on site plus rest rooms. We walked along the pathway and piers and spent some time watching water birds and their young plus an alligator swam lazily around. There was a cooling breeze on a very, very hot day. A pleasant change from the hurly burly of touristy spots. We spend a lot of time in Kissimmee and walk here often.

Very refreshing to see this much lakefront devoted to a park instead of condos. Very accessible with plenty of parking and lots of walking paths. Access for boaters too. Very near old downtown Kissimmee with shops and eateries. This park is reason enough to visit Kissimmee by itself.

Let me start with the negatives-- the parking can be difficult if the park is crowded and if you are trying to visit on a weekend, it will be crowded.
The bathrooms are a long way if you are trying to get away from the crowded areas like the pavillions, playground, or splashpad.
The ice cream truck music is obnoxiously loud- I mean, it was terrible- to the point that we packed up and left because it sat there for so long- it did move to our relief, but it came right back about half an hour later blaring.
It can get really crowded.
The positives- even though it can get crowded, it is a large park, so you can find a place where you won't be too disturbed.
The views are nice out over lake Toho, you can get some great pics.
It's free to park- that's a bonus. (Don't park at the legion if you're not a member- they will know and you will get ticketed or towed- they are not joking!)
The park is clean and feels safe. I have been there during the day and for a sunset walk about- never any issues.
It's a lovely spot for birthday parties, I have seen many weddings-- not sure i would do a wedding outside in Florida- too hot, and too sketchy on chances it will rain- but if you are going to do an outdoor wedding, this is as good a spot as you will find in Kissimmee.
There is also a nice spot to grab a cold adult beverage and lunch or a snack at Shipwrecked it is right at the corner. Kids are allowed but I don't usually see any around. There is also a cafe that sells snacks and drinks in the park.
If you have not been, give it a try!
(No alcohol allowed and they do have patrol on foot and golf carts that go around keeping things in line)

Very nice place. There is a nice park complete with restrooms, covered picnic tables and play equipment for the kids. We brought a loaf of bread to feed the birds at the waterfront. Plenty of parking and benches.

area is clean, no debris and very nice for an afternoon or evening walk, the sunsets are great and great for a mini vacation away from everything at least for a little bit.

As out of towners we went for the first time and were delighted by the alligator sitings and abundance of exotic birds. Great place for all ages.

Roadworks going on all around the park and road detours, there was no way we could find to get to the lake

We decided to 'kill two birds with one stone' and visit the Park and then go to the Abracadabra Ice Cream Shop nearby (see our review). The park is lovely, plenty of seats & shade and a great view over the lake. Walking along the shoreline we saw lots of wildlife, including the Gators..paying close attention to the nesting birds !! It's a short walk up to the main street of Kissimmee and it's shops & restaurants etc. If you have some free time then it wouldn't be wasted by going here.

We have been visiting this part of Florida for almost 35 years and hadn’t been here before. Beautiful park with walk ways, children play areas, picnic areas all on the lake front. It was very hot but we still walked round and saw a limpkin with an apple snail, plus baby birds.
There is a veteran memorial and a monument to the states all worth seeing. You are a short walk from old town Kissimmee which is worth walking round.
We had a slushy at the cafe in the park which was most welcome as we were so hot.

I was impressed by how the park has developed over the last years.
Wonderful for a Sunday afternoon/evening stroll.

The lakeside area is quite close to the old part of Kissimmee. Plenty of available tables for a picnic. Public toilets are available in the car parking area together with some on road parking. Lots of wildlife can be seen. A small jetty is available for a relaxing stroll out over the lake. Anyone looking for a peaceful and clean area for a picnic or just to unwind for a few hours will find the Kissimmee Lakefront area ideal.

A VERY nice park.. absolutely breath taking. Surrounds a big lake. There was someone kayaking.. there were alligators, squirrels, all kinds of birds and wildlife. People had dogs there too. They have a huge statue for the 50 states along with a military memorial. There is a playground. Along with a snack shack that has tater tots. Public restrooms very nice along with a splash pad. They even have a lighthouse you can walk out to. Lots of joggers and runners as well as people on bikes and doing yoga and fishing. Plenty of parking. Its located right beside the courthouse. If you're in the area its definitely worth checking out.

It’s a great spot to bring children and have a fun time, there is plenty of places available for adults to sit and watch the children and it’s safe and easily accessible.

The bathrooms are dirty like no one ever cleans them and the whole lake front smells like dead fish....and if your not getting attack by wasps your being attacked by mosquitos...garbage cans are overflowing..

We drove down here on Sunday morning. Parked up and walked along the front from the civic centre down towards the boat launch area. It’s really lovely. There are bbq stations and undercover ‘party’ areas - lots of families setting up for birthday parties and gatherings.
It felt like a very safe place to relax and gather your nearest and dearest together with the lovely backdrop of the lake as an added bonus
Definitely a hidden gem

This is such a beautiful addition to the surrounding lake area. There are pavilions to rent, and ice cream shop, a play ground next to a water splash pad. Lots of free parking, Lake front views, lot of area for walking and playing. More than one playground. They just finished the dock area for free fishing, with new restrooms. We love to walk this and look for all kinds of birds. Lots of grills and picnic tables. The new section has lots of benches for just setting and watching the lake. This is a great nature/free area. The public seems to be respectful here of each other. Sunday here is filled with families. This is all free. It makes me feel good to see so many people out with their families enjoying themselves. Come and participate. Enjoy.

Beautiful and clean with what looks like new Brick and concrete piers and walkways. But I'd you are coming from out of town, not a lot of amenities like food vendors, etc at least where I went so a bit of preparation is required. Great breeze and lake view.

Amazing park on the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga with many amenities. Everything you could possibly want in a park. BBQ Grills, Concessions, Fish and Wildlife Observation, Fishing Pier, Natural Area, Open Space, Picnic Tables, Playground, Restrooms, Shelter/Pavilions, and much more. Walking distance from downtown Kissimmee. I love the newly restored lake walk. Part of the Florida Trail. Great place to watch the sunset. If you’re a tourist and you want to see gators in the wild, this is the place. Can’t beat the price.. FREE
Highly recommended!

Nice area in center of Kissimmee.
good views and great pavement to take a nice stroll.
walking distance to some nice food and drink joints.
Bottom line, don't go out of your way , but if you're in the area, by all means, go.

A nice respite from the hustle bustle of the Magic Kingdom et al and the very packed freeways surrounding Orlando area. The walkway provides serenity and quiet. Take a walk or jog, you deserve it.

Kissimmee has spent about 37 million to redo the Lakefront park over the last 10 years or so. They are still redoing Lakeshore Drive fro the past year and a half and are still not finished. Go figure. What do you get for 37 mill? A nice park. On Lake Toho with nice views of the 3rd largest lake in Florida. Plenty of wildlife to see every time. You canusually see alligators, and more than one frequently. Nice sidewalks along the lake for exercise. Play areas for the kids, covered areas for eating decent parking. Gets crowded on the weekends. No beach if you were thinking of that. No restaurant on the lake. That might have made a visit a home run.

Good scenery, walking trail and children's playground. Will visit again around the New Year Holiday.

This is a beautiful place to take wak, sit in the bench or fish. I love to just sit on the bench and people watch. So peaceful

This park is so far one of my favorites. Lush trees in the center of park. You have a Community Center for wedding celebration, quinceaneros but must call the city for rental. Through out the park there are also Gazebos with benches & BBQ's but must call for reservation of them. The rest of the park is free to roam with lush vegetation and many spots for great pictures like the light house. There is also a small water park for children & swings. You can bring the whole family and just put a blanket over the grass and enjoy a picnic. You will see a variety of birds through the park.

nice views lake front property was amazing a little over our budget we didn't stay just site seeing.

Overall, a really nice part. The lake is good size. Nice walk way along the lake and plenty of small alligators were seen along the shore. Walk way is typically 4 to 5 feet above the lake, so no danger from alligators. Many picnic shelter areas. At least two playground areas. No problem parking. My grandchildren had a great time at the park. Definitely a place to visit if you want a down day from doing Disney parks.

We stumbled on this Park/ marina after eating at Savion''s Place on Dakin. We walked all around and enjoyed the beauty of Lake ToHo.
Brick walkways, snack shop, bathrooms, Marina, pavilions, plenty of benches. It has a splash park for little ones. We saw TWO alligators!!! Nice handicapped ramps also!
Waterfront Strolling near Disney
Beautiful Park for picnics or just a leisurely walk.
Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view and wildlife. Free parking was a nice bonus. Grounds are well maintained and clean. Thank you for this lovely spot.
