The location and grounds are very peaceful and relaxing.. We enjoy wondering the grounds and vineyard.. At times there is live music.

The wine tastings are fun. Gift shop has interesting items.

We always take out of town guests to La Belle Amie.

Very nice gift shop and good tasting wine (Twisted Sisters). Entertaining labels of wine. Seating only outside (except for small wine tasting bar inside), so bring your own lawn/beach chairs. Vineyard tour available some days. Decent entertainment outside on most weekends. Check their website.

Nice activity away from the beach. Lots of nice stuff to buy, and the wine tasting is fine. Fun time. Warning, if you have kids and leave them unattended, they will be given Red Bull and a free puppy.

Very lovely setting for a small vineyard. Indoor tasting room and excellent gift shop. Outdoor seating under arbors, trees, and pergola. Small, but very nice gardens, decent wines, limited food menu, but you can bring your own. Frequent live music, Decent parking. Family owned and operated; bottling a variety of wines under the Twisted Sister brand.

We went to La Belle Amie Vineyard for the wine testing. It was $6 dollars for 5 samples but they actually give you a taste of a summer wine mix and a winter wine mix when you are done. This is a really nice place. They have free live music outside and serve burgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches along with beer and wine. They have tables with umbrellas and a covered seating area under the Pavilion. A nice place to just kickback and listen to good 60's and 70's music. I had a burger and my wife had the chicken salad. The food was good.

A beautiful Saturday for food, spirits and music with chocolate Chip and Company. The venue was packed for this day of beautiful weather and sitting among the trees in front of the stage was just pure joy. Everyone should attend events here.

We've gone to many of their festival offerings - all very good. Several food vendors. Gift shop has great gift items.

While staying at a local campground my daughter-in-law and I decided to go for wine tasting on a rainy day. It was different than any wine tasting I have been to. Basically, it was just that. Everyone picked different wines and tasted. No information on wine unless you asked one of three wine pouters. Then the answer was basically what was written in description of selection sheet. If more information was given it was lost due to all three talking at once. None of them were engaging and talked more amongst themselves than with tasters. While my DIL enjoyed several of their wines I didn't really care for any. I did purchase one bottle of moscato which was over priced for flavor, but thought I would give it a try. Retail area rather tight for shopping with several others in store. I did like they had chilled wine and nice outdoor area/tables.

Had my first wine tasting here. The staff was excellent in explaining the wines and best way to drink them. Followed up by a glass out on the patio with music. The grounds were beautiful.

I have been here three times now and have loved it every time. Wine tasting is fun and the gift shop has so many unique items for purchase. Always go on days when there will be live music so that you can sit under the canopy and enjoy wine and music. The grounds are also lovely...

We had a lot of fun listening to live music with friends outside, dancing, tasting wine and checking out the gift shop. It's a nice way to spend an afternoon.

We were looking to make a weekend getaway and was leaning toward visiting a vineyard in NC or SC. Well, I happened to run across La Belle Amie while searching the internet. We also saw that they were having a Winter Parrot Head Fest that weekend and it's right there at the beach, so we were on our way.
We got to the vineyard around 11:00 Saturday morning and visited their nice gift shop and walked around the grounds some. We didn't take the tour (which we will return to do another time) and then found us a nice spot to set up our chairs up for the afternoon festivities. They had 2 bands that played from noon - 5:00 and they were pretty good. They also had several food vendors and of course, lots of wine. All of the employees were very nice and helpful in helping you choose the wine(s) you liked. You could purchase by the glass for $6 and keep the glass and then get refills for $5. You could also purchase by the bottle. They give you a GREAT pour also, so you can't beat this price! There was a huge crowd that day, so we were glad we got there early for a great view. I highly recommend visiting them and we will definitely be returning to enjoy another fun day event.

We have lived in the North Myrtle Beach area since 2005 and just last year moved to Little River...almost connected to North Myrtle Beach. The turn to our house is at the entrance to La Belle Amie Vineyard. We had never visited there but after moving practically in their backyard, we did. Oh my goodness, what an amazing place. Concerts, bonfires, great food and almost FREE. Their gift shop is unsurpassed with something for everyone and not the beach 'junk' but quality merchandise and wonderful selections. Wine tastings daily and pick your own grapes each fall! Love it. And we can hear the concerts in our backyard. A must visit when in the Grand Strand area.

Belle Amie is a great place to spend an afternoon in the good weather. The live entertaiment is usually very good and varied (folk, country, 50's & 60's, standards, ..). Admission is resonable (currently $ 8/pp) but many times is discounted with donation of canned goods. Bringing in food and beverages is prohibited and can only be purchased on premises from vendors. The food is pretty standard stuff and is priced fairly. Wine of course is available and also resonably priced.
The gift shop has a good selection of venue related items plus a tasting bar. Th staff is extremley friendly and knowledgable. Take the 30 minute tour it's entertaining and fun.
Overall if you the chance go to an event that has the type of music you like and enjoy sitting on the lawn and enjoying the day.
Note: get on the email notice list so you'll be able to ascertain the different music offerings and days events.

By Donald W |

Very nice vineyard.Clean and inviting.Owners and employees are very appreciative. My only complaint is they need more items too buy in the gift shop. It would also be ideal to maybe add a nice restaurant. I know it's a vineyard, but local craft beers would also be a nice touch

Am a Belgian and going to wine class to become a sommelier. Really loved the way the tasting was organized and how we were able to taste whatever we wanted. Great atmosphere! Felt welcome immediately! Lots of great wines...You can tell they sell wine because they LOVE wine. Hidden treasure in South Carolina....Will be there soon again!

By SUSAN W |

We went to a day of music at the vineyard. Food trucks, wine and great music. The vineyard is lovely and the wine is delicious. Highly recommend.

By Jean R |

beautiful landscaping, relaxing afternoon with music , wine, and food. Wine tasting is 1/2 price in Wednesdays.

By lynn104 |

What a great spot to have a glass of wine, listen to live music and dance! We went for the first time a couple weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased. The staff was great, the entertainment was awesome, and of course the wine was superb! We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and outdoor deck area to enjoy a beautiful spring day. Also the gift shop has many wonderful items for sale and also the wine tastings... which we did not do this time, but plan on doing the tastings next time!

I waited all week to try La Belle Amie, which my friends told me was a "must do". The property is BEAUTIFUL. Most 9f their grapes are imported, and they only grow the muscadine on property. Their tasting fee is $6 for 6 wines plus they throw in samples of their mulled wine & wine slushie. Fantastic... Except this is where the problem occurred for me. I love dry wines, they currently have 10 on their list. When I asked if I could pay another $6 just to try the additional 4, I was told no! šŸ™„ And I got some lame excuse of "more than 6 blows your palette, blah blah blah.." To which I kindly replied that I actually work in the industry (I withheld my extensive experience). I don't think she heard a single thing I said because she was too busy spouting off about waiting at least 20 minutes, drinking a few bottles of water etc. It quickly became a very unpleasant experience. Since this was my last day in Myrtle, I was prepared to stock up & take some great wines home. Needless to say, I left with nothing but an over-used, logo faded wine glass & a nasty taste in my mouth (figuratively)

By Michael W |

Staff is very friendly. They have a nice outside seating area and have music on Saturday afternoons and I think on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, too. Naturally, check with them to verify when they are having music. They have a number of various wines to try and a nice gift shop. Six tastes for $3. Definitely worth visiting to sample wines and listening to music. They also have a short of the grounds if you wish to see more.

By JujuGolden |

Dropped by with my husband and daughter to enjoy their bonfire, live music and wine tasting!! We enjoyed our time there. It was a bit crowded but the staff handled it smoothly and efficiently! The gift shop had tons of beautiful and tasteful gifts for purchase! The grounds had plenty of tables and benches placed under trees and in alcoves to create a cozy ambience!! Would definitely return but next time I’ll pack picnic!šŸ·šŸ§€

Visited this winerie and just fell in love. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The grounds are gorgeous. Their store is huge and has tons of stuff for my fellow winos. Lots of wines to try and enjoy.

By bluejay314 |

We visited La Belle Amie Vineyard in June on a weekday afternoon. They grounds include several decks shaded by trees where you can listen to music during most weekday afternoons in the summer. The folks in the store were very friendly. We enjoyed a relaxing wine tasting inside and learned about the vineyard, wines and events they hold. It was a fun afternoon offering a nice break from the beach. I'd recommend it to others.

By Darla B |

Love the scenery! Enjoyed their reds. Was too cold so no accommodation for bad or cold weather. But though the specialty is sweet wine, I enjoyed the reds.

By Cancunbabe709 |

Went this afternoon for wine tasting. IT IS ONLY $2.75 to taste 6 wines with 2 surprise tastings plus you get the glass (special price on Wednesdays). There was live entertainment today outside. Great gift shop with wide range of items. Some dip tastings as well. Great way to spend the afternoon! Can buy a glass of wine, a bottle, a beer, or soft drink. You can buy a snack, sandwich or bring your own food(snacks). You just cannot bring in any beverages. People get up and dance. Some come with a group of friends for the whole afternoon.

By Kathi H |

Quaint, friendly winery. Great porch to sit and enjoy a glass of their very good wine. Sorry missed Thursday as heard from another patron how fun with music and food. Definitely a to go to winery.

By mark f |

Each Saturday in the spring, summer and fall La Belle Amie Vineyard offers an afternoon concert (2 bands) for an entry fee of $8/person, or only $5/person if you bring in two canned goods. Bring your lawn chairs. Very reasonably priced sandwiches, snacks and beverages are available for purchase and there are some craft vendors present and a free tour of the winery is offered. Very clean, very safe, beautiful grounds.

By James S |

My wife and I were staying at the Wyndham Resort and they suggested the wine tasting, it was discounted for Wyndham guests.

We had a great time, wine was good, great variety. After the tasting we went out to the courtyard, split a cheeseburger and enjoyed the live music.

Musician was very good. Food, wine, beer and snacks available for purchase.

Great afternoon, I would highly recommend this place.

By Lucy9176 |

We are new in the area and saw on Facebook where they had live music. Taking advantage of the cooler weather we had last weekend, we decided to have lunch outside. They have a vendor who sells burgers and sandwiches. (my only complaint about the vendor was the lack of veggies to go on the burger) It was a really great way to spend an afternoon. The wine tasting is very affordable and you do get to taste a variety of wines.

By colts_fans_08 |

Great local winery. Live entertainment every saturday with a bonfire during dec, jan, feb. Also have live music wed (all year) and thu, fri during the summer. There can be a cover charge on sat ($3.00 - 8.00 ) but bring 2 cans of food for the local food bank and get $3.00 off the price. Vicki does an awesome job.

By linboberner |

What a wonderful place. Have gone here for several years now and so much fun. Live outdoor music on Wednesdays and Saturdays as well as seasonal outdoor concerts. Great wine! Friendly owners. Beautiful gift shop.

By Gloria K |

Chrissy was a wonderful tasting expert. She walked us through all the various wines and wanted to learn our likes and dislikes
The wine slushy are the best!!

By Charles P |

The wine here is great and the atmosphere is so relaxed. We went for a jazz festival where there was great food, music, and of course wine.

By GE0FL |

We went here as an alternative to going to Myrtle Beach since it was in the 30s. What a nice place! Staff was super friendly and helpful despite the crowds trying to escape the windy cold beach. The wines were tasty but a limit of 5 per tasting means you have to limit your selection and can't try them all. Real kitschy selection of wine-related items in the store too!

By Brad B |

We visited this vineyard with some friends who had been there in the past. This was our first visit. Apparently, every week from Wednesday through Saturday, there is live music. The two days (Fri. & Sat.) we visited couldn't have been better. There was a music trio that would play for an hour, and then a duet that would follow for their hour. This went on for about 5 hours. The music was very good, but the most outstanding part was the setting, and of course the wine. The setting outside of the gift shop is outstanding. Nice wrap around porch, tables, chairs, SHADE, a nice breeze, and a very nice view of the surroundings. It's really nice, and a great place to relax, and enjoy a glass, or two, of wine. Like anyplace else, much depends on the weather. I suppose that on a really hot day, with no breeze, it wouldn't be much fun to visit. Anyhow, we enjoyed ourselves, and we really had a nice time.

By indyfan99 |

We came to Myrtle Beach for a Bachelorette party Beach Weekend. We decided to come here as our rainy day activity. This tasting was so much fun! Our host was so nice & was really knowledgeable about the wine! She did a great job of helping us select which wines to taste based on our preferences! We only wish it wouldnt have rained so we could've enjoyed their grounds and their patio. The wines were great & there was lots of variety to taste! The best part was getting to choose which wines to taste! Its also neat that the bride gets a free glass of wine at the end of the tasting! We had such a great time and will definitely come back when we come back to Myrtle Beach.

By Brian D |

Favorite vineyard to visit. Always go when in the Myrtle beach area. Enjoy the entertainment on Saturdays.

By Michael H |

Very nice wine tasting and gift shop just a bit north of Myrtle Beach. The staff is very entertaining and friendly. The gift shop is geared towards wine-related items, of course, but they have a very large and interesting selection of nice gifts - no junk.

By CarolinaRealtor |

Visit any day but Saturday during tourist season they go above and beyond. These special times you will find live music along with the wine tastings and food available. Bring a chair and enjoy!

By CLW |

I’ve had better wine from the grocery store. Very bad after taste. If you have had GOOD wine bring your own. The venue is beautiful, someone definitely had a green thumb. Nice store. Had to wait to taste and employees behind the bar didn’t seem in any hurry, taking to others and each other. Nice music and wonderful landscape. If you like good wine, go to Georgia! Won’t but their stuff, yuck! Sorry.

By Heather R |

We have been here so many times now! We love, first of all, the wine. Sun Fun Girl is our favorite but they're all good! We take a gang up for the festivals, which are a blast and now we love the Wednesday afternoon events - we can bring our own food and enjoy good music and wine in the middle of the week. This place is a goldmine!

By spaniec |

Great place to wine taste, relax and enjoy music and have a great lunch. We have been coming here for 9 years and each year is an improvement from the last. Such friendly staff and the shopping is fantastic.

By RichGag714 |

During most of spring and summer weekends La Belle Amie has wine tasting, picnic ,live entertainment. Five dollar entry but reduced fee for donation of cans for the needy. Always 1 or 2 hot food trucks ie.BBQ, ribs, pulled pork or sausage and peppers. Or bring your own food and seating or picnic blankets. Live entertainment varies from oldies, jazz, mild rock and country. You can also slip inside during intermission for wine tastings and purchase of glass bottle or cases.

By Michael T |

What a great way to spend a lazy day. They have a great outdoor venue that is beautiful It's park like atmosphere inspires tranquility. You can purchase a bottle of wine and enjoy the music.

By Polly J |

What a wonderful time! So peaceful. Spent the afternoon wine tasting and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Picnic area is available. Additional activities are scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon.

By Kathy M |

What a marvelous break from the high strung atmosphere of the beach scene. We relaxed under the shade of the pavilion listening to great, live music, sipping on a glass of wine (or beer or soda or water) while the kids played in the grass near the pond. The gift shop has such unique items I find myself buying something new every time I go.

By Jimlux |

I was skeptical the first time we went to this vineyard. Having visited many wineries in Europe I thought for sure this couldn't match. Well, it doesn't, because it is a different type of experience. This Vineyard is about have a nice day out with friends and enjoying good local music. Yes, there is passable food and decent wine as well. The real reason I have gone back 4 or 5 times since my first visit is the owners and staff are real nice and they like seeing people having a good time. For us, we make the good time. It is indeed a fun day out, have a hamburger, a little regional wine (I suggest the Pino Gris) and enjoy fun local musicians.

By CLW |

Came for a break from beach day. Beautiful venue. Wines ok, I’m a dry drinker and just ok. We did enjoy wine on patio and great band on Wednesday, 5/29/24. Very friendly. Only open Wens and Sat. Must buy tickets in advance! Be aware that there are tasting tickets that include admission. Bought admission and then wine tasting so paid twice for entry. They did say they would give extra to local food bank.
Wine and grapes DO NOT go together. Suggest their cheese and grape be changed to cheese and crackers! Snacks available for purchase and prices aren’t unreasonable. Nice shady venue!

By pickytraveler73 |

GPS will help in finding this winery.

Very nice tasting room, wine shop and gift shop. Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

We like dry wines over sweet. Found a number of red and white that we liked. Did buy some wine to take home.

Well worth the drive.

By Pat C |

People serving wine should be more knowledgeable about the wines and talk more about the wines they are serving rather than the customers' personal lives and their particular relationships.

By km1968rn |

We went on wine Wednesday and had a blast. Music was fantastic! The owners hospitality was superb! Even Starr, their black lab, was a sweetheart. This is an event that can't be missed.

By Whitney H |

I had a great time catching up with friends at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River, SC! After only paying $5 admission (bring 2 can goods for local food bank for $2 off admission) we browsed around the adorable gift shop (buy your goodies before you leave so you don’t have to carry them around or put wine in a hot car). After a few minutes, we excitedly began our wine tasting with Ms Judy pouring their famous Twisted Sisters Wines! We enjoyed 6 different wines (plus 2 surprises) for only $6 and got to keep our cute wine glass. We made our way outside to fill our glass and pair it with a variety of yummy fried pretzels (garlic parm my fav) and deli/grilled food all at a good price. There was also a band named High Tide Trio playing a little of everything from oldies, to country to Top 40 that made me want to dance (or maybe that was the wine talking:)! I can’t wait to return next time with my husband for a date night!

By Gary H |

Music is a big disappointment. Mike Monetti is mostly canned music and very flat and off key. Not up to par of previous visits. Setting and vineyard are very nice but might as well listen to Sirius and original performers than this hack. They are also letting guests set up their chairs in walkways blocking access. Have had much better trips here previously.

By Sandy B |

I recently moved to Little River and my daughter helped me with the move and drove with me from Wisconsin. We were looking for things to do in the area and found the winery. What a WONDERFUL find it was. The staff was so friendly and made you feel so welcome. The grounds are beautiful. The live music was fantastic. Can't wait to go back for more live music and their Festivals. DEFINATELY make this one of your stops!!!

By Mike M |

A great winery... great tour given by the owner... wine is pretty good... a good variety not just Carolina Sweet... merlots, cabs etc are also available... a nice covered area to eat... entertainment... a real find in SC.....

By Trey |

We have been coming to Little River for 17 years. La Belle Amie is a great place to spend a Saturday relaxing sipping wine and enjoying music.

By 2Birdsfishnfrogs |

We have been visiting for years. We used to like bringing friends and relatives here to give them a taste of local fair. The wine tastings are now much shorter and rushed through like they have a quota to attain. No information about the wines is offered. When questions are asked, we were referred to the check list choices are made from. There is another "winery" nearby we think we will start going to.

By Bob H |

Was looking for something to do on a rainy beach day. Now, it will be a stop anytime on the area.
When arriving, get your number for a tasting. There is often a wait. Small bar.
Check their website for what is happening.
Loved their wines.
Customer service is excellent. You have to wait for it, but once you are being helped, you are their focus.

By Christa S |

Wineries in the South East can have all their wines leaning toward the very sweet side. This winery had a wonderful, wide variety of wines to please all tastes. And at $6 for 6 tastings, this makes a great stop on the way in or out of Myrtle Beach.

By susangmay |

We had a wonderful afternoon at La Belle Amie. The setting was beautiful as we sat and listened to live music and enjoyed some delicious wine. Our wine tasting was so nice and everyone we met was great. We met the owner in the parking lot as she was directing us where to park. The gift shop is full of unique items and of course we purchased some wine.

By deanp1995 |

Very nice place, tasting was done well. Many wines to choose from. You need to like sweet wine to like it. A lot of outdoor seating, and the staff are friendly.

By Jeanne B |

I've been here a few times now on separate visits to the area. It's a great distraction on a rainy day, or if you just like to try different wines. The wine tasting is $5 and you get to keep the glass and try 6 wines. Purchase prices are reasonable if you want to buy a bottle or two. Lots of southern muscadine wine, but some good ones out of New York. On our last visit, they had tents set up outside and had live music and dancing. They were also serving food outside. We got there at the end of the day, but it looked like people were really enjoying themselves out there. They have a nice little shop, too, where you can find unique gifts and foods.

By rbernacki |

I am not a huge fan of the sweet muscadine wine but the wine tasting was still a fun way to spend an afternoon away from the beach. Sisters that own the winery are very friendly and informative. Lovely atmosphere, they have outdoor concerts

By Michael S |

Wine, (wo)men, & song!
3 - 4 days a week of entertainment, usually no charge. Beverages are reasonably priced.

By Lissette M |

Fun filled day of entertainment and wonderful atmosphere. Excellent service and hospitality. Great tour done by Chuck. Love how quaint and friendly it was. Recommend it for sure!

By Ernie M |

Always a good time, good wine good music and great owners and dog. Nice "deck" and outdoor food and wine for special events.

By WalkintheClouds |

This placed was PACKED on a Wednesday afternoon! The wine tasting itself wasn't very impressive. It was like being served at a fast food restaurant, with a longer wait. We had to wait 40-45 minutes before our numbers were called (yes, you have to take a number!). Then we all stood crowded at a long bar where they very quickly went through our wine choices and gave us a sip in our glass for each one. There was barely an explanation of the wines. The price was cheap (Wednesdays are half off), but the wait and crowd wasn't really worth it. You would do better to just get a bottle of the grape and blueberry wine and drink it while listening to the free music outside.

By shoptalkgirl |

Have been there twice. First time with sisters and mom . Had a great time even in the rain.that did not stop our fun.did wine tasting and bought a case to take back home and several gift items for Christmas.
Second time just me and friends . Great music and great food . We absolutely love this place not only is it great for adults but I saw children dancing with seniors . They were showing them the twist and how to shag. That’s what sold me on this place is the best wine-best food and family atmosphere.
Now if you do not wish to buy foods pack your cooler and bring finger foods and come on. There are a couple times coolers can’t be brought because there are several food vendors introducing new foods and it’s much appreciated if we patronize those vendors.
If you never been I highly recommend.
Trip advisor only allows us a FIVE star or I’d rate it a 10.
Hands down

By LongIslandGirl |

This place is so special. We go on holiday weekends and they always have live music, food etc. their wine is also quite tasty, and you can buy it on site, in the great gift shop they have with lots of great stuff . The setting is fantastic, we bring cards and games too and spend the day!

By Kendell G |

Went on a Saturday during the summer and was great. They had a live band, wine tasting, great shop for wine gadgets, and booths set up for food.

By 5emeralds |

Enjoy a wine tasting, great store for gifts for friends or family that drink wine.

Sit back enjoy music and a glass or a bottle of wine. Always snacks or burgers & hot dogs to choose from. On Saturday's , a choice of vendors to chose from.
Different days for different types of music.

This is one of our local stops for wine. Took our daughter and her husband for a wine tasting and just didn't get the same level of customer service as in past visits. Little disappointed since we bragged on La Belle Amie vineyards to our daughter and son-in-law. Suzanne (not sure of spelling) was more interested in helping one couple rather then anyone else at the tasting. Good thing we like this wine, or I would have walked out afterwards and purchased nothing. This particular day they had music and food outside. Nice winery, that we will continue to return to, just hope the employee learns to treat everyone as a special customer, rather then just a few. I still recommend you visit, just a bad experience this visit.

By LJ K |

Again on this trip we stopped at la Belle Amie winery. over the years it has grown into a very nice place to go and do wine tasting sit outside listen to live music and generally have a nice relaxing time. The staff is more than helpful and very friendly. The wine is also very good. This is the home of the twisted sister wine say. Worth your time to go and spend a few hours at this venue. Will come back again

By WIgolfnut |

This is not Napa but it it is a lot fun. Live music with people dancing. A variety of food. The selection of wines is largely white. There are a few red but don't come for the wine...enjoy yourself with good music & casual atmosphere.

By jameslongfellow9981 |

No south carolina winery makes great wine but some make good. This place should be recommended for its property. Its beautiful, well maintained, and would be a great location for a wedding. Its easy to find and isn't harrased by traffic. One down thing is wine is just not good.

By Randy B |

My wife and I visited on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The wine was tasty. The people were very friendly. The gift shop had many interesting gifts. The wine is reasonably priced. I highly recommend a visit.

By Gary H |

We always check to see if they are having a festival when we are near. This time planned ahead and brought our lawn chairs from home. We're a little afraid we might get rained out but had beautiful mid 70's temperatures. We don't drink but still a very enjoyable afternoon with two different bands providing the music. I would highly recommend checking it out next time you are in the area.

By alexisjustine8 |

Their sassy wine labels and new European wine styles were so much fun when we went to their annual Parrothead Festival! Seems every weekend they've got something social happening. A cool local hang out!

By Alan C |

Bring your own snacks or buy hot dogs hamburgers etc. sin cooler weather sit outside with propans heaters from above. There is music and many get up to dance in toad ways. The owners and staff are very helpful and pleasant. The store has tastings and other things such as shirts etc. to purchase. We look forward to a relaxing day with friends or ā€œjust the two of ā€œ. Look forward to it when here in the winter months. Check it out on FB. Check web site or call to check on bringing pets!

We attended the St Patrick's Day Festivities so there was a $5 cover charge (or less if you brought non-perishable food).
Wine tasting inside the gift shop was fun. The wine stewards were knowledgeable and FUN!!! Well worth the time and small fee!
Live music near the patios was fun. many people dancing on the dance "floor"- everything from Neil Diamond to shag to America the Beautiful - quite the eclectic mix!
Very relaxing and beautiful.

By 1993NC |

This was our first visit here and it is a unique location. I like how it is tucked back off of the main road and has a nature, private feel to it. The atmosphere is relaxed and people were friendly. They have a nice store with neat items but nothing is cheap, however, it was not overly expensive. I would certainly visit again.

By Karen A |

We visited LaBelleAmie this afternoon for the holiday bonfire. This is an annual event that we have enjoyed for several years. The music was nice. The weather was great. We especially enjoyed the wine and cinnamon sugar soft pretzels!!

By jlbagley |

La Belle Amie Vineyard is an excellent producer of wines, many made from the grapes they grow and harvest. My wife and I went there for a tasting and were not disappointed. Not only is the wine high quality and delicious, but "Jean Ann" provided us with interesting and entertaining history of the Vineyard/Winery and the family that established it. Her extensive knowledge of both the history and all facets of the wine were impressive, and her bubbly personality was the icing on the cake. Don't miss this place and Jean Ann!

By Pam L |

While visiting North Myrtle Beach we spent an afternoon at La Belle Amie Vineyard. Two bands played oldies for the afternoon which was great fun while enjoying a glass or two of wine. Definitely a great place to visit if you are in the area.

By Cat B |

We went for the wine tasting and then sat outside to enjoy more wine and live music. It was a lot of fun. We would definitely go back.

By DCMB |

My date and I spent $16 to enter the grounds of the "vineyard" on June 4th. I planned to taste the various wines and relax. How can I "taste" anything when the cigarette smoke is so thick you can barely breath? Yes, I am totally serious, and that was after moving three times during my visit. If you are serious enough to charge to get on the grounds of this place, and taste wine, then be serious enough to allow the customer an environment suitable to do so. Really, cigarette smoke and vineyards; is this a joke?

This place is so pretty and so relaxing, that a number of people I know call it their "happy place." Their music events fill up, so bring some folding chairs in case the tables are taken. There's a nice variety of their own wines, and they have a bunch of different beers and soft drinks, and burgers on the grill. There could end up being an impromtu sing-along. Don't worry, you know the words. Not a place you'll want to bring the kiddos, but anybody and everybody over 21.will love it. Don't miss the wine-tasting bar or the gift shop.

By Linda C |

This is is wonderful winery for a calming, relaxing and refreshing afternoon.
They offer a tasting room and that just what it is tasting, you choose 6 different wines to try, and from those you may pick one to get a glass of.
You may then go outside and enjoy a glass and music. On some Saturday they have festivals, there is a charge for these events. The weekend we were there the food was great.

By Dreamer60512 |

Visit the vineyard many times on the weekend during the warmer months to enjoy the food and music. Wonderful place to meet with friends or family and enjoy the day.

By Laura P |

This is a Saturday no local (or tourist) should miss. Always great live music, mostly dance-able. Good wines, even better staff.
I go as often as I can and can't wait for the warm weather to return.

Great Wines, Great selection and great customer service. Fantastic place to relax and listen to live music.

Nice little vineyard. Difficult to find but worth it. Live entertainment certain days & times of the week. Plan on spending at least half a day here.

We were a group of four college pals (now decades past college) who visited the winery during a "girls' trip" to a nearby beach. What an absolute GEM of a place. The grounds are beautiful, the shop is loaded with fabulous finds, but the star attractions are the spectacular wines and the live music.

NOTE: "Twisted Sister" brand wines are made on site, with the grapes for many of the wines brought in from cooler climates. Don't mistakenly assume that all the wines in this winery are from muscadine grapes; many are not. Conversely, if you haven't tried muscadine wine yet, you're in for a treat!

Our wine tasting session was only $5 and included a souvenir wine glass, We could select six wines to try, plus we were then treated to two delectable, surprise additional tastings that I won't spoil for others by naming. Needless to say, all four of us promptly bought bottles of our favorites from the tasting session.

Live music at their shady, well-equipped-with-fans outdoor area was fabulous. The "piano man" played songs that everyone loved, prompting everyone to sing along. When the specific frozen drink I wanted had to be retrieved from inside, the outdoor cashier hopped to it and brought the drink back in a flash.

SO much fun, and nothing but smiles, laughter and kindness from the staff. Do not miss this place if you are in the area, and make a point to go if you're close enough for a day trip!

P.S. Try the pecan oil on the sampler platter inside the shop. Amazing.

Afternoon and Saturday music provides for an enjoyable afternoon in fresh air, good music and drinks.

I love this place! It's so much fun to go for one of the many events they have there , listen to a band, pick some grapes or just browse the gift shop and do some wine tasting. The people that work there are fantastic. I took my daughter while she was here on vacation she absolutely loved it and bought a few fun things in the shop there. She came back about 6 months later and wanted to go to the shop again ( they have lots of really cool and nice things ) and was very impressed when the lady that worked there remembered her by name from a conversation they had. Nice little small town piece of history and a great place to go with friends, family or your partner. A must for visitors as well as locals.

Wine was good. Food was good. Music was good. Store was good. Very laid back with a great atmosphere. Great way to beat the heat. Just luck I found this on the web this morning. We spent hours there. Would gladly go back.

That was my first time ever there, And we had a fantastic time They had good music , including a Irish singer to. the food was grilled outside the wine tasting was very good to. So dancing and good food and good wine what a very relaxing enjoyable day..

Spending a Saturday afternoon at the Vineyard is so great. The music the wine and the people are all such fun and you really do not want it to end. Great time.

This winery was a great find! I’m not a big wine drinker but they had a wine slushy and mulled wine which was warm and flavorful! My husband enjoyed the wine tasting and bought a bottle of Syrah which he enjoyed while we listened to live music outdoors. The out door seating was plentiful and a beautiful setting. Yes, there is food but we were waiting for dinner.
While my husband tasted, I browsed the store which was very quaint. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

By Oksana B |

This place is so beautiful and the wine is delicious! We had a blast thanks to Jean Anne. The tasting was wonderful and all the extras were a surprise bonus. Loved the gift shop and outdoor seating. Absolutely a must do when in the area, you will not be disappointed!

La Belle Amie is truly a wonderful place to spend the afternoon on a sunny Spring day. The grounds are beautifullly kept and staff are all friendly.

Their collection of canned goods for the food bank is an outstanding gesture on their part. Kudos to them.

They provide a nice choice of different caters to provide food. One nice thing is that the prices for the food is reasonable and always great.

Their choice in music needs to be addressed as well, great!!

Thank you.

By Michelle N |

If you want crappy customer service then come to this winery. The store refused to give us a wine tasting because they had an event going on today and directed us to the wine tasting outside. Went outside and they gave us a hard time about a tasting when we said we only wanted a tasting and didnt want to stay for their event. They even told us they only take cash (when the credit card machine was right in front of them). Off to our next stop.

By rich and linda s |

This vineyard winery is a very pleasant experience. Their wines, under the label of "Twisted Sisters", range from fair to very good. Prices are good, and better than many others. They have frequent special events and an assortment of outdoor venues. Sitting in the shade of one of their outdoor areas listening to music and sipping wine is relaxing and fun. While most of their events are free, they do have ones you pay for, but modestly priced and worthwhile. Nice gift shop as well.

By Duane R |

a relaxing and fun way to spend a day outdoors. nice company, good wine and relaxing music.
not a bad way to spend a day.

By Tom T |

This is a North Myrtle Beach hidden gem!!! Always a fun day at La Belle Amie. The expanded outdoor space is delightful and there is always good live music. Oh and the wine is fantastic too.

By Maureen S |

Hubby and I enjoyed the beautiful grounds as well as the musician performing while we were there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Grilled food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as a large selection of the vineyards wines are available. We enjoyed exploring the gift shop, they have some unique items.

By agentdadams |

This is a beautiful place. The grounds are well maintained, the staff is absolutely wonderful and the events they sponsor are entertaining and memorable. Take the tour or just sit back and relax with a glass of wine or a bottle of wine while listening to the live music. Check ahead for scheduled artists. While they do have food vendors, be patient, the best food takes the longest time but well worth it. If you have not been you should put it on your next stop list for sure.

By WindyHillbre |

La Belle Amie is a short 25 minute drive from Myrtle Beach. There is always something going on and they are open all week (closed on Sunday) A wine tasting room is adjacent to a lovely gift shop. We bring our guests there and we are never disappointed. Relax on the front porch with a glass of wine in a comfortable rocking chair and enjoy the beauty of the grounds. Bring the kids, they have plenty of room to get some energy out on the farm- safe and away from the bustle of the beach. My favorite is Wine Wednesday which has afternoon music and is such fun. Their website has great pictures and lots of information on what's happening. Hope you enjoy!

By EnjoyingLife |

Spent Saturday afternoon with friends and getting acquainted with things to do locally since moving to SC. Music was great, the venue is terraced and very pretty with multiple tents and the wine tasting was so enjoyable! Our wine instructor Kim knew all of the wines well and before you were half way through the tasting she could tell what would really make you happy. Looking forward visiting again and bringing family when they come to visit!

By DeeDeeMac |

We enjoyed our Wine Down Friday at La Belle Amie. We arrived around 1pm and had to wait around 20 minutes for our tasting. We got to choose 6 different wines and then we got 2 surprises at the end. For $5 that's a great deal... AND we got to take the logo'd wine glass home as a souvenir. After the tasting, we sat on the outside deck to listen to live music (Randy Knight - played Jimmy Buffet, Jackson Browne, etc... nice for the area). Enjoyed some basic fare (hamburgers, hot dogs) at very reasonable prices. Wine by the glass was only $4. They serve their own wine only, which is fine since it's good wine at a good price. I was pleased to find that they have a decent selection of dry wines along with some sweeter muscadine wines, typical for the south. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves! A nice way to spend a few hours on a Friday afternoon.

By Kathy G |

They offer live entertainment through the year but in the summer its at least 3 days a week. They do a good job you are allowed to bring your own food or snacks on premise even though they do bbq and have small cheese platters. For the non wine drinkers they offer beer soda and water , It a great afternoon outing for adults. They have a cute little gift shop with local made items.

By Marsha M |

Today we went to this winery which is out in the country but only a 20 min drive from our timeshare in myrtle beach. What a great time we had. Being a Wednesday, wine tastings are half price. Fun people giving us the tasting. Very nice gift shop, too. Then purchased a bottle of wine and we sat outdoors and listened to live music. Great fun. Burgers and hotdogs were available on the grill out there. Very friendly people, nice atmosphere. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

By Marie C |

Even though I don't drink wine, this place is beautiful. I go for the concerts on Saturday afternoons to listen to live music for a small fee. Very enjoyable!

By cindy h |

Great place to spend an afternoon. The wines are not that typical southern sweet stuff although they do offer a sweet wine. Many times they have food vendors at the place and the food is good. They have music at various times and if you google them, you can get a schedule of events. Check it out. You will enjoy it and for those of you that don't drink wine, they usually have water, beer and coke.

By Sue L |

My husband and sister wanted to do a wine tasting while my sister was visiting us. She had previously been to La Belle Amie in the past but this was my husband and my first trip there. Wow! We never expected to see a winery with such a selection and stunning grounds as this winery offered. They enjoyed the wine tasting and of course had to get the wine glass to bring home. They had a great time and I enjoyed looking at the shop and all the things they had for sell. The grounds were beautiful. Definitely will go back again.

By Roger U |

Have been there several times, mostly for music festivals where an admission fee is charged.

Things do get hectic at times, and you have to deal with Porta Potties. (Only a single each, men's and women's actual restroom inside the building, as I know it.)

When busy, staff gets harried, and owner(s) not much better. Patience is the key if you've got it, when it's busy.

Otherwise a relaxing environment when not much in the way of outdoor music is going on, and things are slower.

By RedDeer_ABTraveler |

We arrived at the winery just prior to closing and had a tasting. The 2 servers were very helpful and didn't make us feel rushed at all. The grounds are beautiful and I wished we had had time to go the next day when they had live music.

By Diane R |

great to just sit back have a glass wine listen to the music and relax.

My go to happy place every Saturday unless I am on vacation somewhere. Beautiful venue, good music, food trucks, wine tastings and a lovely gift shop. I highly recommend it whenever you are in the area. Open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

By bushmckay |

Such a fun afternoon: live music, beautiful weather and great companionship. We so enjoy their Wed and Sat afternoon live music events. Bring your own chairs and your own glasses though there are lots of tables and you can buy wine glasses to use and take home with you. Always a pleasure.

By Nancy D |

We enjoyed the food, the music, the wine tasting and the overall experience. It's a great way to spend an afternoon, sitting outside under the trees in a relaxed atmosphere. They have a great little gift shop and the owner provides a tour of the property that is enjoyable and informative. You can go on Wine Wednesday and try the wine tasting and some great music or on Saturdays several times throughout the year they host wine festivals with two live bands.

By Golfers4Life |

A fun place to visit if you like wines and wine tasting! My husband and I really enjoyed our afternoon of wine tasting and seeing the vineyard. A nice thing for couples to do together.

By MnPolishPrincess |

This is a great venue for music and wine lovers. But a note to the management, not everyone drinks alcohol for a variety of reasons. Please consider adding coffee or hot chocolate to your drink menu on those chilly days. I would have loved to have stayed longer to enjoy the music. Otherwise, nicely done. Loved the bonfire, the heaters, the grounds, the gift shop and the sweet dog.

By Ursula Y |

Every few weeks on a Saturday afternoon the winery hosts a variety of bands and music. On a nice day, what a pleasure to bring a folding chair (or use one of theirs) and spend a few hours relaxing with a glass of wine, and cheese, fruit and crackers or lunch just kicking back enjoying the music. Weekdays there is also entertainment just check it out on their website. It is owned and managed by a husband and wife who know how to entertain and make families feel welcome.

By mark h |

We always love to try different wineries to see wich ones we like and best prices!!! The people was wonderful and the wine was great!!!!!!!!!!!!/:0)

By patricia y |

Stopped by a few Saturdays ago to see what this place was all about. We were charmed! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and sounds like they have a full calendar of events almost every weekend!

We didn't stay that day because it was kind of chilly and we were not prepared.

BUT...we did SHOP the gift shop....and found many interesting wine related and other things to purchase. Did not "taste" that day but are planning on coming back for several of the events.

The owner probably noticed that we were vineyard newbies and took time to introduce himself ....very friendly and a great sense of humor.

If you have a chance - visit the website and find out where the name came from. She is Bella! I will check off that you normally don't have to pay for coming to the vineyard but check their calendar of events and they will give you more information regarding this....(at any rate, the fee is VErY nominal)

By PATOMMY |

Festival style atmosphere at the beach. Beautiful grounds and awesome shop. This was our first time here and we wanted to only check out the wine selection. They had this cool event going on with live music, a bonfire and of course lots of wine flowing. They let us go in and purchase wine and leave. looking for forward to returning in the future.

By njtravelgirl03 |

We did a self-guided tour of the property and vineyards. It was relaxing and beautiful.

We went inside to do a tasting --I enjoyed all the different choices. The tastings are done at a stand up bar set up.

they were setting up for a BBQ but we could not stay.

I would definitely visit again!!!!

By Joan P |

Two great bands played from noon to 4pm without a break! We had a delicious steak sandwich for lunch, tasted several wines, shopped in the gift shop and enjoyed the pretty venue under Carolina blue skies.
A reasonable admission price for a day of good music ( sixties, soft rock, beach music) was made $3.00 less because we brought canned goods for the food bank.

Saw a few families with children who were well behaved, but there is nothing there specifically for kids; it is a great place for couples and friends to enjoy an afternoon. Be sure to check the website to see what is going on the day you want to visit. Some days there is no admission fee. We'll be back!

By RonnieK2469 |

This is a very fun place to go. Very friendly and they donate so much back to the community. We just do not care for the very sweet muscadine wine, nor the other wines from NC. But we go for the fun!!!

By Michel d D |

We had a very nice visit. The wine tasting was good. The staff, Susanne from Vermont and Janet from Long Island (or, Lawn-guy Land, as her name tag states!) were great wine tasting hosts. They knew the wines, and were very intertaining.

There was a musician playing, and he was very good and we had lots of fun. You can purchase wine or beer, and sit and spend a nice afternoon at the establishment.

You can also purchase wine in site, as well as various gifts.

Absolutely worth the visit

By Charlotte W |

This is an outdoor venue that is fun on a lazy sunny day. It features wine but also offers beer, sodas, and water. The wine is Twisted Sisters label. They also offer frozen wine drinks. Food is always available there: hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, and cheese trays. There is music every Saturday. There will be two full bands every other week during the fall and summer and a DJ/Karaoke person the other weekend. There is a $5 cost if you are not a member. There are two things outstanding: 1) you get to sit outside in the sun or shade, drink, eat, and listen to some great music; 2) they have the absolute best Gift shop I have been to. Offers wonderful gifts, birthday cards, wines, etc. I actually go there for my birthday cards and a special, one of kind birthday gift. Most of the gifts are related to wines but they don't have the La Belle Amia logo on everthing which is great. The wines themselves are not great, but the atmosphere is a "10". All the staff are great. There are large crowds every weekend. You will enjoy it.

By Christina B |

Stopped in with my husband while visiting the area. Wines were delicious - we bought three bottles - and we both also enjoyed the little store attached, as we purchased a few things to decorate our eventual home.

By Robert W |

We always visit the vineyard when we come to the beach, we love the atmosphere at La Belle Amie and the muscadine wines. Love just sitting out on the deck and listening to live music on Saturdays.

every time will go to this winery as it is very close to my hotel also has good wine and mostly has entertainment on Saturdays-U can set by your self or join the crowd also has refreshments outside and food at decent price

By tvinci1 |

Looking for something off the beaten path, this is it. Live entertainment, wine, beer, food to buy or byo food in beautiful setting. Lots of outdoor seating under a huge tent or under umbrellas on the deck or scattered around the vineyard under the pines. Spread a blanket if you want.

Tasting room was packed. Although you could buy wine beer under the tent, it may be good idea to set up a tasting bar there too. We'll be back!

By bapeljagr |

My wife, her cousin and I went to do a wine tasting. When we arrived, we learned that They had a band and a nice outdoor area to enjoy the day and a bottle of wine.. A very nice surprise. Keep in mind that this is a southern vineyard, most wines are sweet and not very full bodied.. Prices average about $14 a bottle. There is a nice store in which to shop. On Wednesdays you can bring you own food and picnic while listening to the band. Many people did this and it got a little crowded. A nice way to spend an afternoon

By Jennifer C |

We were there for Valentine's Saturday Bonfire. Everyone had a great time dancing, singing, enjoying food and wine, beer, soda. They have huge area's with tables and chairs that are under canopies. This is a MUST GO TO Winery.

By nailsbybeckyb |

These sisters are doing a great job of fund raising. I have been to a couple of the saturday events with live music and had a lot of fun! The area is set up well with fans under a pavilion which keeps you cooled off well. Wonderful way to spend the day!

La Belle Amie Vineyards has become a regular stop for us when we vacation in Myrtle Beach. They have an excellent selection of wines, my wife likes their sweet wines I enjoy their dry reds. On Wednesday’s they have a folk singer in their garden so while you enjoy the music while they grill burgers, hotdogs, sausages and barbecue that you can eat while you enjoy their wines. Plan to spend about four hours with friends and have a truly relaxing afternoon.

By LJ K |

Stopped again this year at the winery as we go here every year around September. Did a tasting and enjoyed the company of other travelers and the wine served. The staff was great as usual. While we were there, a performer was playing music outside and lots of people were having a good time dancing, singing and drinking wine. This was great as the facility is very well kept, the staff is great and the wine is reasonable and tastes good. they also have a nice gift shop which caters to the wine lover. If you like wine then I would recommend that you take the time to visit La Belle Amie.

By VinnieG |

We have visited this establishment several times during the various music festivals. Always have an awesome time. In addition to there great wine the bands are great. If you have a chance to visit you will not be disappointed.

The quaint little place has plenty of parking. The grounds a very well kept. Me and some friends went to one of the many music & wine festivals. We had a blast! The festival is $8 but you get $2 off if you bring 2 canned goods for charity. They had 2 bands playing and had some really good vendors to get BBQ and hamburgers from as well as wine tastings to pick the one you liked best and grab a glass or two. A good thing to do on a weekend and relax with family and friends.

I have been here many times. Such a beautiful place. Gift shop is great, and tasting is a must. Every time I have been, the staff knows what they are talking about. Wine is very good. MNy unique items in the gift shop. If you are anywhere near MB, it is worth the trip!

By 387melanied |

Fun with the girls. Didn't like the process of the wine tasting. You have to get a number and get squished into a small spot, stand, pick the wines you want to try. I like to have a list to try, not picking them, maybe that is just me. The outside is beautiful, they had a guy playing nice tunes on the guitar, people dancing, grilled food and a wine bar. Fun, fun and more fun. Just skip the wine tasting, that was the only down side.

By 105Pinehurst |

My friend and I visited this winery on a Saturday when they were celebrating Ground Hog Day. Tables were on the hillside overlooking a stage with bands. A variety of food was available to purchase outside. Also, wine could be purchased outside and enjoyed while listening/dancing to the music. Prior to going outside, we had their wine tasting which was very good. This winery has a beautiful gift shop. I definitely would go there again if in the Myrtle Beach area.

By MaryButters |

Purchased wine tasting plus admission for $11. Great deal!! Wine is exceptional! Tasting includes 6 wines plus a bonus. And you take your glass with you!! Gift shop is fun and there’s plenty of food on wine Wednesdays. Truly recommend! A MUST DO!! Lovely wines.

By Jokerzjeep |

This stunning vineyard is set back off the main drag, surrounded by mature trees and immaculate landscaping. Enter through the shop to take wine tasting or just a glass (a few) of your favorite wine. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about all of their products and accommodating to the needs of children. Outside, there's a bunch of patios and decks with tables, chairs and benches. Live entertainment and BBQ , even a walk around the beautiful grounds. Definitely, don't miss out on this hidden gem. Note: Only open Wednesday to Sunday

By Lee K |

This is a great venue for relaxing and listening to music. They have live music a couple of times a week, usually free, though they have some festivals with an entry fee of $8. Bring some canned goods for the local food pantry and get in for $5. The wines are not exceptional but acceptable with novelity names like Sweet Carolina Girl and Old Goat. There has been extensive improvements since we started going there about 8 years ago. A beautiful setting to sip a glass of wine and relax to good music.

By Katielynch247 |

We live in the area and the hubby and I decided to try this place out for wine sampling. We were impressed. Just got the hubby liking wine; so vineyards and wine sampling is a must. And it was a hit & we enjoyed a bottle of wine we both liked on the deck and was amazing how beautiful it is there.

By colts_fans_08 |

Large crowd for the American Pie Music Festival featuring the Marsha Morgan and Paul Grimshaw bands. Both providing great music. Good food provided by Sticky Fingers, Smokin Pit BBQ and the Vineyard Grille. And of course a wide selection of very good wines. Water, soda, and several beer are also available. The weather was great and a scenic venue.

By Cruiser736363 |

It has been almost 9 years since we came to the vineyard! We got there right when they opened!!! Staff was phenomenal and helped me navigate the wine tastings due to some of my favorites no longer being made! I love the gift shop we picked up some cashew oil (never heard of it until now) and some-more of the merlot steak sauce which is delicious!!! The vineyard is as beautiful as I remember it!

By Randy W |

Went here with my local family members and had a good time listening to music and drinking wine and just hanging out. Very relaxing sitting in the shade with family. I didn't do a wine tasting but what wine I did have wasn't very good, sorry to say. I will try a wine tasting next time we stop in just to be fair. Maybe they have some others that are better than what we drank. Will return for the good times and music, and maybe some wine, if not beer!

Was a PERFECT day for me the few times I have been!! :) Something I WOULD do over and over! SUPER FUN TIMES!

By Lori H |

This winery was a pleasant surprise to my sister and myself. Our experience with wineries in the south is it ends up to be sweet or very fruity wines. We registered for the wine down Wednesday for a tasting of the wines. When we arrived it was just afternoon and there were several cars in the lot. There was an admission fee of $5.00 which felt was reasonable, but since we paid for the tasting admission was included , so we paid around $23.00 . The grounds were beautiful, well shaded, lots of tables, Umbrellas, chairs and fans around to use. That day there was a man performing with guitar, playing great music. Food ,wine, soft drinks, beer and water available for purchase and reasonably priced. Also a food truck just outside the seating area selling food. We purchased a bottle of wine, nice dry red Cabernet. It was great. We paired that with a cheese, meat and fruit snack size charcuterie. Later had a sandwich. The gift shop/ tasting room was absolutely adorable! We had messed up the time of our tasting and the owns were on site and very friendly and accommodating. Tasting was very informative and friendly. We had a great time! Their wines were very good!

By Linda A |

We visit La Belle Amie once a week when we are in town; there is just so much to enjoy, and there are people of all ages, including children. When you walk into the well-stocked gift shop, you will be greeted by one of the wonderful staff members. Unlike many gift shops, the merchandise is very reasonably priced. You will also find a wine tasting area in the back of the store. As you exit the store, you will hear afternoon music Wednesday-Saturday during prime time. There are plenty of chairs and covered areas to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and some delicious outdoor cooking. If wine is not your thing, never fear, beer, soft drinks and water are also available The atmosphere is peaceful, and the scenery is beautiful--picture the grape vines, a beautiful statue, a pond with a fountain, and people enjoying each other's company. Oh, one more thing, Vicki gives tours of the vineyard that take about a half hour, and the tour is fun and interesting, not like many tours! Check out La Belle Amie Vineyards site for more information. They offer many activities and festivals. There is a charge for festivals, but it is minimal. If you choose to bring can goods for the Food Pantry, your admission cost is reduced--nothing like paying it forward! Vicki, Chuck and their staff know just how to make everyone feel welcome.

What an awesome place!! Came here for lunch. It was a nice day so sitting outside was great, there was entertainment, they only have a few things to offer at lunch, we had a Hamburg and hotdog and of course a bottle of wine. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to wind down and enjoy the sceneries.

By Mike B |

We stopped here to pick up a couple bottles of wine. Since it was Wednesday, the wine tasting was 50% off so we did the tasting. After the wine tasting we purchased a bottle of wine and went out in the back to listen the the musician that was playing for the crowd. Good music, good wine and great company made this a fantastic day.

By Janet1105 |

My daughter was visiting from CT and she was looking for a wine tasting and found this online. It was so much fun! When we were here they had a bonfire and band so it made it even better! The wine is great! This would make a great group outing. You can bring you own chairs and food, they just request you purchase their beverages. Wine, beer and soft drinks. But the wine by the bottle, it's a great price!

By bikinglady |

The wrap-around porch and quiet setting of this lovely winery makes a great activity stop for adult visitors. The tasting 'bar' is inside the great shop and there's lot of fun things to purchase. We purchased a few bottles of wine we took with us and enjoyed sitting on our balcony eating cheese and crackers and sipping wine. There is a comfortable porch at the winery where visitors can sit and enjoy the scenery in the forested area. The staff was extremely friendly and left you alone to wander through the store. So appreciated!!!

I love to go on Saturdays, they are open everyday, weather permitting, they offer vineyard tours, wine tasting and an awesome gift shop. The grounds are so peaceful.

This winery is a best kept secret in the Myrtle Beach area. If you are a sweet wine drinker then this is the place for you. Love their twisted sister wines. Lots of great entertainment activities in their vineyard as well. Staff is awesome!

By Lynn S |

My husband and I visited on a Thursday. They had live music and wine tasting for half price. It was very relaxing sitting on the patio, listening to the music, and sipping our wine. The wine was very good too! Also, loved the names of their wines. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

By NCTraveler27616 |

not far from north Myrtle Beach, a little off the beaten path, but worth the drive. we were there on a non-festival day so it was pretty quiet. there is outdoor seating if the weather is nice, and a live musician to keep you dancing after a few glasses.
the tasting ladies are super nice, and well informed on their products.
lots of wine to choose from, and lots of gifts to go with it.
this is a great rainy day at the beach place to go & visit.

We arrived early for our wine tasting, so we shopped in the very attractive gift shop filled with many beautiful, unique items. We also sampled some of the dipping sauces, dressings, mustards and more on display. The four of us all made several purchases. Then, after more guests arrived, Chuck, the owner’s husband, announced that he was leading a tour of the grounds. What a nice surprise! We joined the group which included five ladies and a man from Ecuador. Chuck told us the history of the winery while he pointed out the many beautiful flowers and trees on the property. Then we strolled over to the vines and saw the growing Muscadine grapes up close. The charming landscaped grounds are lovely, secluded from the main road and well-maintained. We were quite impressed with the loving care they obviously received. Once back inside, the tasting began.

Since we arrived on a Thursday, the tasting was half price – what a bargain. For $3 we were able to sample 6 different wines of our choosing from the printed list of about 24 wines. What a wonderful idea! We also received a complementary souvenir wine glass. I chose six of the drier red wines. The two that I enjoyed most were Twisted Sisters Old Goat, a Pinot Noir – light bodied red & Twisted Sisters Poor Bastard - a Merlot/Cabernet blend. All the wines have catchy names such as Bitchin’ Babes, Sugar Daddy & Silver Tongue Devil, to name a few. There were crackers on the counter and a fruit and cheese tray was available for purchase. I wish that I had seen that before the tasting began. An added bonus at the end of the tasting was a mulled wine. I later purchased a few of the prepared package of spices and instructions to make my own mulled wine back home.

The afternoon didn’t end there. Chuck encouraged us all to go outside on the covered patio areas and listen to live music. It was delightful to sit under one of the colorful umbrellas with the fans blowing cooling breezes. The trio, Harlequin, sang a variety of familiar songs. Many of the guests listening to the trio performing, purchased bottles of wine served in cooling buckets and ordered food from the outdoor grill. It seemed so relaxing that no one wanted to leave. It is worth it just to come for the music. The name La Belle Amie means The Beautiful Friend. We truly feel that we had made new friends of Vicki, the owner & her husband Chuck. The four of us hope to return should we vacation again in the Myrtle Beach area.

The January day I visited the weather was cold, so there were no outdoor activities, however the welcome inside was warm. They have a nice gift shop and tasting room, and give six tastes of their wine for $5--half price on Wednesdays, which is when I went. They often have special outdoor events in good weather and I'm sure those would be fun. I tasted six of their wines and chatted with my server who was a very friendly--she answered all questions and made the experience very enjoyable. The wines were ok, with fun labels and names. It is an easy drive from Myrtle beach and a fun way to spend a few hours.

Nice people, nice selection of wines and slushy 's. Very nice accessories and spices to make different types of mulled wines.

We found this nice little place on our recent visit to the area. Very friendly staff. We loved the outdoor area with the live band where you can have a glass of wine and something to eat. We so enjoyed that beautiful vineyard area. We missed the music as they were just finishing, but we still sat out there and just enjoyed it. Highly recommend for a nice relaxing time.

This vineyard is located about a mile from Highway 17N in North Myrtle Beach. St. Joseph's road is off of route 90. This is a lovely, peaceful vineyard. Picnic tables are located outside and provide a pleasant place to have cheese/crackers and wine, or a packed lunch from home. A variety of wines is available. The winery is somewhat new and that makes a difference in the amount of wines offered. Spring and Autumn are beautiful times to attend here. Some days in the summer are too hot.

By ToriGre |

First time there was the ā€œlady full moon of the summerā€ Motown group. Vine store has everything. Wine tasting available and bottles sold there. I recommend joining if you plan on going to the events throughout the season. With membership ( reasonable cost to join) you enjoy 10%off wines you purchase. Free entry to events with two guest passes. Free glass, free bottle upon joining. Free wine tasting for your guests. Wooded area great in summer, shaded. You can bring chairs or they have them if you get there early. Pavilions for private parties.

This is a must do in Little River for the wine and for the super music nights! The wine is the icing on the cake of visual delights and find indoors and out on the patio enjoying some relaxing music under the stars! Bring your sweetie or your best girl friends and chill out! Its wonderful after a day at the beach or saving all that money at the Outlet mall!!! Don't forget to take home a bottle or four to enjoy the memories of a great evening when you get home!

Beautiful winery. Located in a country setting, outside the hustle of Myrtle Beach. Lovely grounds and quaint gift shop and wine tasting area. I enjoyed their selection of wines. I am not a fan of sweet wines and this winery has a good selection of dry wines. The wine tasting was fun and the employees were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back and listen to the live entertainment.

By bonnie g |

Big band, no! More like wedding band.
Been here many times. Prices have gone up. We always buy a bottle+ of wine and food. I brought a small snack for my dietary needs and we were told we weren't allowed. This is a turn off for me.

By sunnyskies014 |

First time. visitor! As soon as you walk in you are in a gift store, as you find your way around there is a bar area, must get a number and they will call your party up to bar. I believe it was $5 for tastings up to 5 or 6. A couple of freebies they threw in was the slushy wine and their hot Christmas wine. They also wrap up your glass to bring home. They have sampling’s of olive oil & different dipping sauces. Live entertainment as well, only downfall they close at 5!

By Michael F |

My wife and I really enjoyed our time today listening to Chocolate Chip & Company, enjoying the alcoholic drinks, and eating the great food choices. This is a fantastic venue for great music listening. We definitely will return another time to hear great bands.

By jtraugot |

Spend a great afternoon enjoying the locally made wines, listening to a great band and sampling a variety of food from vendors. Plenty of seating on terraced areas as well as a great lawn area if you bring your own beach chairs. Dancing in front of the stage. Friends visited the gift shop. Check the web site for events and schedule of tours and tasting

By Toni L |

Stopped by on a whim. Delightful setting. Walked outside to an inviting setting and live music. Very relaxing. Buy a glass of wine or beer you can purchase food too. We had wine and a fruit and cheese plate. It was great! Pricing was nice too!

By Sue R |

We had family members in town and wanted something different to do. We found the wine tasting fun and informative. Good food, good wine. There is a very informative tour with the history of the property being told by the owner.

By Cjksc1 |

The vineyard is a great place to try some local wines, hear some local music and relax in the setting of a small local winery. The owners are very friendly and are strong supporters of the community. Always fun and reasonably priced.

La Belle Amie Vineyards is a beautiful vineyard that has festivals on Saturdays all year long and bonfires with smaller bands throughout the winter season with free adnmission. They have free vineyard tours at 2:30 PM given by the owner herself Vicki. Vicki and her husband Chuck walk around the whole time and talk to all the guests and help out where needed. Their dog Star is the only dog allowed at the facility and roams freely greeting all the guests. They have a beautiful gift shop, most of my kitchen is decorated with their decor. Their is a wine tasting area inside with discussions about the wine and wine for purchase. Outside you can taste the wine before you buy a glass or bottle. They also sell flavored slushes, beer, water, soda and have a grill that sells hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, b-q etc. Most people get up on the lawn and dance with their significant other or the girls get up and dance together too. There are always two bands on the weekends and there is a discount of $3.00 off admission if you bring two dry goods for the local food pantry. Your bracelet is good for a raffle at 4:00 PM, where I won a bottle of wine of my choice once! We go here so often with friends, best to bring a lawn chair or you can use theirs under the pavilion, but that fills up quickly. We go to spend a Saturday afternoon from noon to 5:00 PM just chilling, listening to music, sipping wine and dancing if you want to. There are indoor and out door bathroom facilities also. When visiting or if living in the area you must go for a relaxing visit. They are open all week, closed on Sundays and have some music during the week you would have to check their on line schedule.

By W. Bramble |

We love the scenery and atmosphere of this winery . Outdoor seating under the shade trees with music and many interesting wine choices make for a favorite place of ours on warm sunny summer days. Plus it is convenient to North Myrtle Beach, only 10 mins or less from the beach. Nice gift shop too.

By Travelerlynn4949 |

I love the names of the wines. My favorite is "Queen of the entire world" and it was very good. Wine tasting was a hoot! The deck was covered so staying cool was not a problem. Food is available and reasonably priced. They have entertainment almost every day. Nice place e to unwind.

By Dina C |

Lovely small vineyard and wine shopping experience. Gift store has some unique and fun finds. Employees were very pleasant and helpful. While we were there there was a man playing some great oldies (70's) Look for different entertainment weekly. Bring a lawn chair or us the tables provided. Enjoy a bottle of wine while listening.

By mark h |

If you like dry wine this is the spot!!! They have a nice presentation at the bar so you can taste what they have and then sit outside and listen to live music and enjoy the time

By johnwg27 |

My wife and I spent a most pleasant afternoon at La Belle Amie Vineyard last week. We started with the wine tasting which was very reasonable and very good. For $6 we got to taste 6 wines and 2 other wine drinks.....and we got to keep the glasses! We then proceeded outside where both lunch and drinks were again most reasonable. AND.....it was Wine Wednesday so we were entwined with music for the afternoon! It could not have been better. We will make this a "regular" visit on all our future trips to the Grand Strand!

By Jerry M |

It was a rainy day. We took a trip out here to have an experience of wine tasting and enjoyable atmosphere!!! Our tasting was ok, but the group next to us had larger pours and a wonderful lady explaining the wines... we wanted to join that group, because our lady could of cared less!!! We still tipped her well, for the poor service.

We wanted a CHEESE tray, is was a GRAPE tray in a leftover container!!! Very poor presentation and quantity for $5.50.

Needless to say we did not buy any wine.

By Suzi D |

Beautiful sunny day at the winery. Live entertainment featuring Fat Jack Band, winery tour, wine tasting, dancing, eating with friends! There was a featured artist. The best wy to relax!

They are open all year round.

By carnes9557 |

A live band with oldies music, food vendors and a laid back, relaxing environment in which to sample great wines and shop in an exclusive gift shop made this afternoon perfect!

By DrJDM |

The vineyard is an excellent location tot wine and music. We went on the oldies date with music of the 60's and it was dream. We found it to be a positive change from beach activities and the crowds.

By JTT |

We visited La Belle Amie on a Saturday when they had a special event with music. It is a great venue to listen to music, eat, try the wine or beer. My wife had a wine slushy that she really enjoyed, I had beer, we did not try the wine. The food was great. We plan on another visit to sample the wine. They have a nice shady area, it was relaxing to enjoy the music. We will visit again to do a wine tasting, we recommend La Belle Amie for a nice relaxing time.

By 33beach |

The staff was so friendly. We sampled several wines and then enjoyed wine on the patio as we listened to music. Visit the gift shop for unique gifts.

By nancy a |

This quaint vineyard is one of the best I've attended. I went with a group therefore the tastings had to be limited but even at that I had 6 tastings and all of them were good. I had so many choices it was hard to determine which to try. After choosing and buying several I shopped in their store and found some unique items, then on to the outdoors where they had hot dogs and hamburgers waiting along with entertainment. I just sat back ate, enjoying some of my purchases and listened to the music. .

By majdad04 |

We started visiting vineyards in every state we travel to. Twisted Sisters is a great place to visit. The tour talked about all the problems the owner had trying to start her business. She now HSBC several locations that make her wine, and it is the best tasting wine I've had. I enjoy sweet winner and Twisted Sisters has some of the best. Would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

By Ikinitse |

It has been a while since I was there, but the memory lingers of an accommodating atmosphere, friendly people and a thoroughly pleasant afternoon in fresh air, with an overlay of aroma of grapes. The temperature was very comfortable, there was a soft breeze and I enjoyed myself in tasting their wines as well as the musical entertainment.

By Adonna T |

We went on a Wednesday about noon. Participated in wine tasting and found a couple we liked. Gift store absolutely amazing. Lots of variety. Even had some mustard marinade and jam tastings. Best part was the live entertainment Italian pepper and onion sandwiches. We enjoyed lunch a couple bottles of wine and music for 4 hours

By dajuki |

We go on Wednesday afternoons when they have music (oldies) from 1pm-4pm. It's very laid back. There are table and chairs. They sell hot dogs and hamburgers, but run of the mill. You can bring your own food! And people do. It's a nice way to spend an afternoon. They also have music and concerts at other times.

By Lyanne S |

Went here with my husband for our 3 yr anniversary. The wine tasting was great al1omg with the hostess, Susan. Beautiful land to walk and take gorgeous pictures. Wine down Friday event had good food and live music.

By Zachary B |

We come here every year for vacation. We are here often to stock up on our favorite wines. The staff always helpful and eager to assist. Definitely recommend. B**chin Babes.... one our favorites. So many more great ones

By brumig2323 |

This place offers tastings of their wines which they offer for sale by the bottle or the case. They also sell various souveneirs, many of which are wine related. Also, you can go outside, buy some wine by the glass and/or food and listen to the entertainment. All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon with friends.

By Wanda H |

We got a recommendation for this place when shopping at a health food store in North Myrtle Beach. We went on a Wed. and found a half price coupon by chance. We found the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. We enjoyed the music and came away with 2 bottles of wine and several gifts. We'd visit again for sure. Look forward to a warmer day and a vineyard tour.

By Bill M |

This is a fun place to visit. A small vineyard that offers special events and live music in a nice outdoor setting on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons 1 to 5 pm. Sip some wine, enjoy the music and relax. Only minutes from N. Myrtle Beach.

By Maggie29566 |

Saturday events are a great experience and wonderful surroundings make the experience sensational

By WildermereBeach+ |

Great place to visit and listen to some southern vibes while sipping on some wine for most. I enjoy when they have the beer tent. Go have some fun try it out

By Linda D |

We were so excited about finding this winery and we weren't even looking. The grounds, flowers vineyards were beautiful. Would have loved to spend a couple hours here wine tasting and adding to our wine collections. We walked around outside for awhile then went in for the tasting. We were told dogs were not allowed. Mind you, there was not another soul in the tasting area. We have traveled to many states.SC (so far) seems to be the only state that hates dogs. We travel everywhere with our Therapy dog in training.Always keep her on a short leash and she is very well behaved. But, that made no differences in most everywhere we visited in SC.

So, we left with a bitter taste in our mouth and our wallets still full with money they would not be getting.

By tom g |

Convenient to Myrtle Beach, with excellent live outdoor entertainment events throughout the spring summer and fall, check local listings. Twisted Sister Wines tend to on the sweet side just like we like them, here on the NC SC coast.

By Saundra R |

Beautiful surroundings, camp fire roaring, great band to dance to, wine tastings. We spent our day laughing & dancing under beautiful skies. I love the blueberry wine!

By Susan B |

Harlequin played great music! We had a blast with friends, catching up, sipping wine, smelling the bonfire, being outside on a cool winter day, and dancing! The gift shop is worth the visit. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back next month!

By wookame |

What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon under a grove of shade trees relaxing with a glass of Twisted Sister wine and perhaps a plate of cheese & crackers. Not to mention the absolutely wonderful bands that provide great entertainment, from big bands to rock. Take a tour of the vineyard and hear the story of its beginning. Truly an enjoyable experience and one to which we will return often.

By BudNLily |

The setting is gorgeous. The staff is quite friendly. The gift shop is amazing. They have a huge variety of items for sale.

We did a tasting and grabbed a bottle of wine and cheese and fruit and sat and listened to an awesome singer.

Tammy is quite talented and had a nice selection of songs in her repertoire.

Great afternoon!

By bidonme |

La Belle Amie is just a wonderful vineyard with live music and beautiful grounds. Check out there website for upcoming events. This place is a lot of fun and me and my wife frequent this vineyard. Thumbs up and five stars. If you visit be sure to take Mrs Vickie's guided history and vineyard tour.

By Tiffanydawnw |

This was our first visit although we vacation in the area yearly. Good variety of wines for both sweet and dry wine drinkers...the staff were friendly and helpful... even with it being a busy day. After the tasting we enjoyed our favorite under the covered deck listening to the live music. 1/2 price tastings on Thursdays.......

By Donna I |

Wine Wednesdays are wonderful. The Vineyard includes a gift shop will many treasures not only wine related, While you pay a small amount for the wine tasting, the glass is a gift. The staff is excellent in making the tasting fun while explaining the six selections you can make.

In addition, you have a large outdoor "park" with undercover seating with fans, outdoor seating with umbrellas and fans and a stage with live entertainment.

It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Check out the additional events they offer through the week!

By Catherine M |

Great outdoor patio with wonderful live music. Wines were pretty good, didn't like enough to buy a bottle but very friendly service and welcoming staff.

By Gina K |

A great lil gem in NMB, would have not expected it, loved the grounds. The festival had a good crowd and seemed like all were having fun, everyone was dancing at some point, great band. Would prefer a better cheese tray option but wine was great, and love the names

By JudyMetroNYCarea |

There are a few different wineries in the Myrtle Beach area to choose from, but we thought the wineries located at the outlets or near shopping centers was a bit too much, so we found La Belle, which is just a very short drive from the beaches at Myrtle Beach.

There is plenty of parking, a small gift shop and tasting area and a lovely patio area where they have food items for sale and live music.

The tasting area is suitable for about 5-6 people only. Standing only. The wine selection is typical of most small wineries. Mostly blended grapes. The selection is mostly on the sweet side.

There is a large covered outdoor patio area. There was live music. They also had food available for sale. We bought a glass of wine, some snacks, took a seat listened to the music for an hour or so. A very pretty setting. Truly a relaxing afternoon.

This is worth the drive from Myrtle Beach.

By Rose B |

So excited to find this beautiful place. We happened to visit the afternoon of their "everything Irish" day. Tours, tastings, live music. The wine is very good. Their gift shop is so darn cute with wonderful gift ideas. It was a great start for my birthday celebrations and our spring break in the Myrtle Beach area. Such a great spot to enjoy the outdoors and a bit of cheer and meet friendly people.

By Brenda B |

This place looks like a nice inviting place, at first glance the porch is homey looking. The gift shop has everything you could want to buy. The tasting room is a lot of fun, and the wines are quite tasty. They also have concerts on their property where one can purchase a bottle of wine and ,can drink while relaxing and enjoying the music.

By Kelly A |

We attended a Parrothead Day and this place was not organized at all. They would let a select few in to park and then send others down the road. The whole set up was terrible and the food lines were all mixed up and the food was terrible. The people that worked for La Belle were the rudest people ever especially the two lady doing the parking had plenty of parking spaces but would let some in and not others. The service at the bars were bad and you were so rushed on wine tasting. We live here but will never go back. By the way they do not want children there, so not a family place. Sorry but it was a nightmare there.

By GypsyLarry |

The ambiance and surreal feeling of being in wine country coupled with the live music made for an afternoon that took ones mind to a place of solace and carefree thoughts.

By tricia23462 |

I had a great time visiting this winery on a Friday afternoon. The staff was great, they had live music, food and great scenery. Will definitely visit again.

By Grannani |

We went to hear Jody Hunter singing in the arbor; but really enjoyed the entire experience. The gift shop is awesome! They are part of Twisted Sisters wines which is one of my favorite! Wine tasting bar stayed busy while we were there. Bottles and cups of wine sold outside (very reasonable for cup). Beautiful setting for an afternoon or an event.

By Jenny S |

We frequent La Belle Amie and absolutely love the atmosphere. The crowd is fun and the staff are most accommodating. Music Saturdays are our favorite. It's a must do, over an over!

By colts_fans_08 |

Threat of thunderstorms did not deter the crowd or the .music for the "whole lotta of shakin festival:. A cool breeze, good friends, great food from smokin pit bbq, and excellent wine. What a way to spend a saturday .

By db |

Love this winery
I go virtually every Wed n Sat when open to enjoy the wine, food & entertainment
Cute shop as well

By Robert P |

Cool atmosphere and surroundings.we walked along the cinder trail enjoying the music in background. Afternoon concerts good company and music.in a great setting.lots of good wine if you like. I am a diet coke and kick back kind of guy and loved it here.

By Bill M |

We decided to stop in after having lunch in the area. It turned out to be a great choice. Make sure to do the wine tasting to sample some of the local varietals. Not your everyday dry wines! Have a seat on the front porch, enjoy the breeze and chill!

By Teena C |

Beautiful surroundings at La Belle Amie for listening to the music of Marsha Morgan and Paul and sipping on the great Twisted Sisters wine with good friends -old and new.

By Louise G |

A hidden treasure! Wonderful place to taste various wines. Has outside seating, food, firepits and entertainment.

By David B |

great way to spend a afternoon and enjoying meeting different people.ejoyed tasting different types of wine

By Carolyn_and_John_B |

La Belle Amie is a fun place to visit! The tasting staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The wines range from vinifera to local muscadine. The vinifera are from non-local sources, but they are pleasant; the muscadines have the expected characteristics and are grown in the local vineyards. The winery store is quaint and full of wine and food related items.

By Marion J |

Got there late so only had about a half hour for wine tasting and looking around the gift shop. The wine tasting was so much better than a couple of others we did. You are able to choose from a list of wines to sample rather than having to taste wines you know you won’t like. The staff was great and we had a good time and will definitely be back next September. Too bad they are not open later in the evening (close at 5 pm):

By zsaber2017 |

Wine, food, music, open air and fun. And a unique gift shop Ain't nothing better. Open all year round except for some winter holidays.

By Michael E |

We have been to Bel Ami several times, mostly for the Saturday music. The food is always good with a couple of vendors along with a wide range of beverages. Have also done the wine tasting, though not as great as the traditional wine regions, they have vastly improved over the last 5 years.

By Linjons |

Visited here on a trip to Myrtle Beach, but we love wineries and visit all over the world. Our preference is dry wine so usually southern wineries have way too sweet wine for us! But the owners of La Belle Amie were smart enough to buy grape juice elsewhere and also make very good dry wine. The winery itself is in a beautiful setting, the wine is good, and there's a cute little shop too. To top it all off, the wine tasting staff is excellent - knowledgeable and fun! We had a great time and will be back when we're in the area.

By Traveler3939 |

We went to the Blues & Jazz Fest there earlier this month and had a great time. Although the music was only 2 performers, they were both awesome and they continually alternated about every 30 minutes so the music was non-stop. The cost to get in was only $8 and I believe there was also a $3 discount if you brought 2 canned food items. The outdoor setting was really nice with trees all around and a dance area in front of the stage. There were tastes available for all the wines and then you could purchase by the glass or bottle. In addition there was beer available as well as several food vendors offering BBQ...and the parking is free. There were 10 of us and we all had a great time. Next time we're in the area we'll definitely pay another visit.

By Genie M |

We stumbled on this vineyard and winery during a recent visit to the area. We did a tasting of European style wines (5 for $5) and found several to be very good. I don't normally like Merlot but theirs is awesome! Plus every Friday afternoon they have live music and a good variety of food and snacks under cover outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to make regular visits when we relocate to the area.

By colts_fans_08 |

Great crowd for the spring parrot head festival. Awesome music (stringwood trio and paul grimshaw band) great food and always outstanding wines. Great weather

By Tina R |

We had so much fun spending about 2 hours at La Belle Amie Vineyard. The gift shop is lovely and the wine is good! We loved the "Twisted Sisters" wine bottles! We had a small meal with wine on their outdoor terrace and there was live music. We had a lovely time and would recommend to others.

By Karen L |

My sister, cousins and I spent the afternoon at LaBelle Amie Vineyard. They had an "oldies" show outside that you could sit at tables and enjoy the entertainment and get wine and food. Jody Hunter was the singer and he was fantastic....did songs that pleased all ages....including Elvis, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and even rock n roll. People were singing along and dancing. There was no charge for the entertainment but there was a charge for food and drinks.

By JOHN S |

great way to spend a afternoon at this wine tasting vineyard . the four of us tasted six wines and they were all great ! so we bought a few bottles to bring home and share with our other neighbors . i recommend everyone that enjoys wine to visit la belle amie !!

By tim w |

First time here. We had an awesome visit. My wife and I did a tasting. Crissy, was our bar tinder. She was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about all the wines which helped us decide which ones to try. We loved almost all of them and bought several. We are definitely making this a regular stop when we come down. The grounds are really nice with many different places to sit and enjoy your wine. They have a great selection of items in the gift shop as well.

By Larry S |

Great people, was welcoming and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Was close to where we stayed and close to north Myrtle Beach.

By Lee Q |

Lots of fun to be had at weekend wine festivals. Sample the wine, listen to great music performed by local artists; local food-truck vendors have good food. When you're done with all that, enjoy the gift shop. Great stuff, reasonably priced. Their fall bonfires are fun.

By UrlaubGlacierView |

On a whim went. To check it out...stayed had the tasting and pleasant time. Baught some wine and still have a bottle here at home...yes recommend this to anyone that wants to have a nice experience and great wine

I had the opportunity to attend the Big Band Fest again this year. We found out about this quaint winery during our visit last year. It had rained and we decided to attend anyways.
When we realized it was taking place again this March when we were in town, we had to attend again. The entertainment was outstanding, weather co-operated ( it was gorgeous) and the wine was terrific.
We went into the gift shop around 5pm to browse the wine selections. I was disappointed that 3 employees neglected us (it was not busy). Roxy noticed we were needing help and immediately came to our aid. She was extremely helpful , courteous, and genuinely happy to serve us. This employee is definitely an asset to your business.
Thank you Roxy for your assistance. Your employer should be proud to have you on his/her staff.
We'll be back next year for the Big Band Music Fest!

My Husband, daughter, son-in-law, & myself all went on The La Belle Amie Vineyard tour from The Plantation Resort! It cost $20 per person but that included the 45 minute bus ride, the price for the wine tasting, the tour, & a lunch that included a 6 inch Subway Sub, potato chips, cookies, 2 tangerines, & a drink! The wine tasting by itself is $5. The owner who wears a name tag that says " Vicky The Head Grape" on it took us on the tour outside explaining all the details of how she left the corporate world & high heels in Texas to grow a vineyard & make wine! It was very enjoyable & educational listening to her talk about the vineyard & growing the grapes! Then we went inside for the wine tasting! Someone else did that! They rinse the wine glass out with the new wine that your going to try! I asked her about that & she said this way you get the full flavor of the wine & it's not watered down! Every wine tasting I've been too rinses the glass with water between the wines which is what I mentioned to her! The wine there is sold under the label " Twisted Sisters" so it would be easier to remember than La Belle Amie which is her families French name! They have some really good sweet wines which I like the best! Vicky the owner gave my husband some seeds for moon flowers! She said they are like morning glories only they bloom at night & they are bigger & they glow! My husband likes flowers & they were talking about them when we were outside! You get to keep the glass you used for the wine tasting! They have more you can buy in the store to along with lots of other things!

We live only an hour away, so we visit the vineyard a couple of times a year, usually once or twice in the summer and once in the winter. The have excellent entertainment, weather permitting, on the weekends, and they have wine tastings and interesting wines. They also have an excellent gift shop. Google up their website for special events.

Had never been there. A friend always went and enjoyed it and told us about it. Very glad she did. We went one afternoon and really liked it. They had a great band. We sat under a tent with fans all around. They also had tables with umbrellas. We were able to buy wine-by glass or bottle. If you get bottle and don't finish it you take it home. You can bring food or buy it. Only Drinks are not allowed to be brought in. A gift shop that has beautiful assortment of everything to go with wine. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon. Check website to see what goes on each day.

Visited on a Friday afternoon during a torrential downpour! Tents were set up with guests huddled at tables passing clothes and paper towels amongst each other to keep the seats dry...how neighborly was that? Local musician played from his own tent nearby and food and drinks were available under our tent too. Burgers never tasted so good!

We did this a little backward as we arrived hungry and wanted to eat right away. We selected a bottle of wine, based on its description only, to enjoy with lunch. It was the Old Goat, pinot noir and we were not disappointed. Then on to the wine tasting inside the gift shop. Susanne explained how the tasting was run and Jean Ann was our server. Both great ladies. They really want you to enjoy their wines and offered good guidelines for moving around the selections. Knowing we all enjoyed the Old Goat, Jean Ann used the info to steer us away from the really sweet muscadine grape varieties so we could concentrate on the ones better suited to our taste. We were never rushed and left late that afternoon with an assortment of wines, mulling spices and jams, under a sunny sky for the ride home.

I've visited this quaint, family run winery many times and in past years have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. A couple of weeks ago, I dropped by for a wine tasting and came away completely dismayed and shocked. I was warmly greeted the minute I walked thru the door; it's what occurred afterwards that really disappointed me.
I walked thru the store looking at things and then went to the wine tasting area. I waited patiently for the employee to acknowledge my presence. She was distracted, talking on her cell phone. After a few minutes, she came over asking how she could help me. I explained I'd like to taste some wine. She was not friendly, appeared to be completely disengaged, and slurred her words. ( I'm assuming she'd been sampling some of the wine herself.) After another employee saw me, they asked 'Susann' if she required any assistance. She said no. Feeling uncomfortable, I politely excused myself and left. Being from wine country back in Canada, I know employees are not allowed to sample while on the job. Perhaps laws are different here in South Carolina.
This entire situation is unfortunate as I've always enjoyed going to this winery while down here on vacation. Perhaps this was just a one off situation!

Always stop by La Belle Amie when in town to pick up gifts. The wine spice is the best and other jams, mustards and seasoning are good too.

This a fun afternoon and as always there is a wide selection of wines. For this festival be sure to bring your chair and get there early. It is very popular and always crowded. Always something going on here

Visited On our trip to Myrtle Beach with friends. Had some wine listen to the DJ is a very nice location lots of seeding excellent place to unwind and just relax. We come here every year when we come to Myrtle Beach and are never disappointed. Will be back again

close to home place for a good break from the beach and has the winery feel. Wine unfortunately is not to my liking and terrible to me. I have had some great times watching concerts and going to festivals here when they have beer. Bring a lawn chair and sit close to the gazebo

We were staying nearby and were looking for an afternoon of fun when I found this delightful winery. Lots of tables outside, a nice gift shop and the wines are really quite good. There was entertainment on this Saturday so we stayed for several hours. Snacks were good too. Don't pass this up.

I have lived here all my life but only recently visited this place. I loved it. Very nice people and the prices were great. The wine was awesome and if you get the chance to go on a day that they have entertainment you will enjoy it for sure!

The grounds are attractive and the entertainment often offered makes for a good time relaxing outside. We may not like all their offerings but that's a subjective matter for sure. Gift shop has ample offerings and wine tasting area provides a good opportunity to sample the wares.

This is a great place for wine tasting. Most of the southern wines are sweet and are for sipping. This winery welcomes picnic baskets and often has live music in a covered courtyard with tables and sometimes even serves light snacks, burgers, brats, and dogs. Not every day, so look at the website for info on what is going on each day. The day we arrived we were hoping for music, but it was too cold for the musicians. We sat in the courtyard and had our picnic with a bottle of their wine. It was a bit chilly, but an emplotee came by and started up an outdoor propane heater which took the edge off the cold. The winery also has lots of gifts and novelty items for sale. You should go!

Went early on a hot day, owner provided a little tour of the place, they do a great job of making lots of nice places to either sit enjoy a bottle of wine or just the nice gardens. Wine is a very subjective things, I liked some, not others, but you have different tastes. Staff in the tasting area was very good at keeping everyone's tastings straight and the "host" dog was smart and very entertaining!

Don't miss this coastal gem! Saturday afternoon music and grilled food. Get a number for the wine tasting line. Great shop with an amazing array of wine and grilling centric items. Sample the amazing finishing sauces by the bread dipping sauces.
Musicians were an absolute blast, kept the crowd of mostly local regulars dancing and moving. We could have stayed all afternoon if time allowed.

I went to their festival yesterday. They had food, great bands to dance to and of course wine. A fabulous way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The muscadine wine was powerfully sweet. I rarely pour out wine, but I simply couldn't drink the overpowering sweet wine. Pourer was friendly, happy, and proud of the wines.

Walking into a wine lovers hideaway. Music, food and some interesting wines. Definitely sweeter wines not a Dry wines place but they did have a descent dry red. It's all about the atmosphere here and a great place to Hear music, share a fire or just hang under a tree with friends and enjoy the surroundings. Wish we had the day to stay and take it all in. Great way to be away from the strip!!!

We went for the half-price wine tasting and it didn't disappoint! The servers were efficient and entertaining. Be sure to get a number if the counter is full because it gets very busy. Once you know what you like then relax, enjoy the music and drink your wine!

A great place to kick back on a lazy afternoon and listen to outdoor music and drink a bottle of wine with friends. Very pretty place and so relaxing.... nice people all around.

Fun wine tasting. Great entertainment. Terrific gift shop. And good prices. I went on a Friday afternoon.Busy, but didn't have to wait long. Sat outside on the covered patio and listened to the singer who was very good. You can bring your own picnic lunch, snacks. Soft drinks available for only $1.

Great place at any time. Very pretty and relaxing. Not all "sweet" wines; good variety. Come to hear the bands/groups that play there. Get up and dance! Check out their scheduled performances on line. Awesome gift shop for both visitors and locals looking for quality items.

Visited on a cooler Saturday in July; needed to wait 45 mins for tasting, but walked around shop and then made our way outside to get a bottle (by description), sit on the porch and listen to some fun music. Food was also available - BBQ cookout style. So relaxing and fun. Tasting was short - small pours but great information on the wines. $6 tastings and you take the glass home. Well worth a visit if visiting in the area, located just where Little River starts at intercostal. (about 15 mins from Barefoot Landing)

Local winery based on the local grape variety which is not to my liking. I will not return. Rather a pleasant experience but do not expect good wine.

They have a great selection of wine as well as wine tasting. The vineyard is beautiful. Enjoyed a relaing day there

What a great winery near Myrtle Beach. We visited on a Saturday morning. We did a tasting inside and the ladies at the bar couldn't have been nicer. It wasn't too crowded but the winery was getting setup for a day of music, food, and of course wine. We found some wine that we loved through the tasting. We also bought some bottles of wine that was on sale in the back of the store. Wish we could have stayed through the the afternoon but didn't really have the time. We did take a few minutes to walk the grounds which was beautiful. Hope to visit again soon.

My family has been going to La Belle Amie since it opened whenever we came down for vacation. Great variety of wines and great gift for those back home. Even my grand children loved to go when their dog would greet them and play ball with them. Unfortunately, their favorite pet is gone now but the atmosphere is the same. Great tasting, great outdoor events for the entire family to enjoy. I highly recommend this winery, like NAPA of the South.

My family and I are down to visit our in-laws in NC. My mother in-law mentioned La Belle Amie; They used to go often pre-covid, and they’d enjoyed it. Well, we went on wine Wednesday. It cost everyone five dollars to get in, including our teenage boys…we were told this was to ā€œtrack the people coming inā€. That meant for the six of us we paid $30 before even setting foot inside. Why anyone has to pay to get counted is beyond me. I think they make an abacus for that.
The wine prices were great - we shared a bottle for 13.50, and bottled beers were $5 each, with a decent selection. Sodas were 1.50 each. However, we had to pay $1 each for glasses to drink our wine.
The atmosphere is nice…there was music (mediocre) and plenty of seating in a bucolic landscape.
We’ve traveled all over the US and Western Europe. My husband and I have visited wineries and breweries on each of these trips. Never have we had to pay a cover to go in.
I don’t think my in-laws will be returning while there is an admission fee.

Saturday festival with 2 bands and lots of wine! 😁

Really a great time. Enjoyed the BBQ food truck, gift shop, wine tasting, 2 great bands and vendors.
Plenty of shade.
Plenty of seating but bring your own to be more comfortable.
It gets very busy by 12 noon.

Amazing place to visit! I love it here! The Head Grape Vicki wasn't here this time which was a real disappointment! There wasn't a tour planned when we were there! Vicki does the tours! We did do the wine tasting again! I bought some more wine to take home! Probably more than I should have! The brand of the wine is Twisted Sisters! I really liked the new one Ice Queen it's a sweet white wine! Then I like Sweet Baby Blues it's a sweet wine with grapes & blueberries mixed together! The people are always so friendly, nice & helpful in here! You can bring a lunch & eat it outside on the deck or the picnic area! They did inform me of when Vicki's next tour was but we didn't make it back up there! It's about 30 to 45 minutes drive from Myrtle Beach & well worth the trip!

The entire staff at La Belle Amie Vineyard and Winery are all amazing Jeanne and Joan Bartender Ladies and the owners are all awesome. This is definitely a must do!

Like many northerners who now call Little River, SC, home, my wife and I retired and headed south looking for two things: a place where a dusting of snow is such a curious, unexpected thing, it isn't long before the shelves of every food store are as bare as my late father's head...and,the opportunity to experience firsthand the storied beauty and graciousness of the South.Of course, living but a mile or so from La Belle Amie (Route 90) it did not take us long to discover both.

If you have ever visited France or Italy (or even your grandfather Lou's backyard grape arbor) you should feel right at home. The grounds are lovely...the visitors, sun-warmed and anxious to share stories and make friends. If you are a fan of good wine at very reasonable prices, you will find that La Belle Amie is indeed a "Beautiful Friend" you will want to know better.

Music filled the air every time my wife and visited. Good food, reasonably priced, and a selection of wines broad enough to satisfy the most demanding self-styled aficionado.

My wife and I have been fortunate to travel widely. We know what we want and over the years have learned where to find it. La Belle Amie is a prominent, new member of that cherished list.

P.S. If you love the noble Scuppernong as I do, you may want to plan an autumn visit to pick baskets of that delectable, aromatic grape at amazingly low prices.

Can't wait for La Belle Ami to reopen. We always have a fabulous time when we take visitors there. The music is fantastic especially on Wednesday afternoons. Have a glass of wine, a snack, and relax.

By 50Awm |

Wine tasting was fun and server was friendly and personable. Have a nice gift shop with their bottled wine and accessories. Have decorative wine items, aprons, women’s tops etc. Have periodic music festivals on their grounds.

By jtraugot |

We go to LA Belle Amie regularly. They provide fun entertainment to listen to, sing along or get up and dance to bands or trios. Food/snacks are event type under tents but good and not expensive. The wine you'll have to judge for yourself. They give tours of the vinyards. Recent landscape improvements make for better seating or bring your own camp chairs and sit out on the lawn

Local Entertainment.. oldies, etc...The wine is very good and sampler type service is avail and keep the glass..

I love this place. Boo. Period. It's in an absolutely gorgeous, easy to reach location with gorgeous grounds suitable for any sort of special occasion or just sitting and sipping. The wines are delightful and the employees, too! Looking forward to visiting again soon and frequently!

Weather was nice enough to sit outside for awhile and enjoy the music and a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We visited on a sunny Friday afternoon while traveling through the area. We enjoyed the wine tasting then relaxed outside on the beautiful grounds to listen to the complementary live music. The staff is very friendly and welcoming making guests feel like old friends. The wines have very clever names and we purchased several bottles for ourselves as well as relatives and friends! Highly recommend!
