This is one of my favorite FL east coast beaches. The water is crystal clear. You can walk out onto the pier. It’s a great beach for families. The beach is clean.

Would have been a 5 if the pier had a couple of lights. Beach was great! Water is beautiful. I felt slightly unsafe but no more than any other place. Rented a fishing pole and caught a snapper. Pier staff were friendly.

Parking is easy with the parking meter. Restaurants nearby. Its clean and safe. Walk with or without foot gear. Bring umbrellas and chairs, games, ball to kick around, your own music. Pretty much whatever you like to spend the day doing.

Clear water and soft sand. Bring your own chairs, renting is a bit overpriced. Nice boardwalk with showers and a playground for the kids.

Great beach with decent price on parkig. It gets full on busy weekends so I go later in the day. There are great places to eat and drink near-by.

What a great day out on the beach. Water temperature was perfect, small waves not too rough & the sun was out. Can't get better than that ... & they have sunscreen stations, which I have never seen anywhere else before. ( visiting from Oz) Great idea.
Handy to Benny's restaurant so you can buy a dink and a snack after all that swimming & sun.
A beach day is definitely a must do.

Plenty of paid parking, so if you get a spot and feed the machine you are set for the day. There's a great park adjacent to the beach, with shade trees for napping under and tables for picnicking. The beach itself is beautiful; white sand, lots of shells to collect along the water, always clean, with posted info about ocean conditions, temperatures, what kinds of fishies might be stinging you today, and when not to swim. There is always a volleyball game going on. The pier is a favorite spot, with the great restaurant and bar Benny's On the Beach in case you get thirsty or hungry. Everyone comes here, it's a true public beach full of happy people. Across the street, there is an Olympic sized public pool that we went to for years, for only a few dollars a day. It has been having its ups and downs, and was drained the last time we came. We sure hope it reopens as it's a treasure if you like to swim laps. Public restrooms in the building remain open for beachgoers, and some shops and restaurants right across the street make this an awesome beach.

Beach was clean, lifeguards are present, and parking is paid at the parking machine by cash or credit card. Unfortunately swimming conditions were not ideal with jelly fish and rip currents. So I did not swim and the only ones in the water were surfers with wet suits on.

Drove up from Pompano for the day. Very nice town. Loved the beach and pier. The bar at the end of the pier is great. Live music and cool atmosphere.

This beach is wonderful. Truly a secret gem. Plenty of lifeguards to keep you safe. Swimmable beach.

This happens to be, one of the best beaches in Palm Beach County. It has everything. Great sand and ocean, great restaurants; Benny’s, Mulligans and the amazing Pizza at Mama Mia’s ( no better vegetable Pizza, anywhere) .
Easy to get too, and an early breakfast in down town Lake Worth is a must!

I love this Beach, it has Be. It’s on the beach there on the apier which has yummy food and drinks, great place to bring out of towers also, if it gets too hot on the Bch, walk up to the outside bar and grab a cold one.

great for long walks in either direction, especially at low tide, and several places to eat or shop within 50 yds of the pier..... I once personally witnessed a turtle nest hatching there

Such a great long sand beach and such wonderful sound of waves. Parking is $6 for two hours or $12 per day. Benny’s and Mulligans are two restaurants on either end and both are great.

Had the chance to go spent an hour on the beach and very much loved the clear water color. The pier was also very nice with great food options.

You are showing parking is $2.00/hr and it is now $4.00/hr. Handicap parks free. Excellent beach and amenities.

We stayed in Lake Worth and love that the beach is so close! We were on the beach with 10 minutes. There is plenty of parking, life guards on duty, you can easily rent an umbrella, and the beach was clean. The beach was yellow flag so the waves 🌊 were intense, the kids loved it. We had a fabulous time and loved every minute. Showers are close to parking lot. Benny’s on the beach is awesome and right there. Love this beach!!!

Great fun great beach been going for 65 years and always a fun time. Many memories go for the relaxing time and enjoy the pier

We love this location. the bathrooms are recently renovated and lots of beach area. only downside is paying for parking. $3/hour

This is a very nice beach. Life Guards, chair and umbrella rentals, food nearby but...the bathrooms were dirty! It was so unexpected for such a beautiful area.

A jewel of a beach that is well kept, attended by lifeguards, plenty of parking, and several decent restaurants to go to. Good family beach and you don't have to be a resident to use it.

This local beach is pretty quiet and laid back. The locals enjoy it as well as visitors--there are guard towers , bathroom and a couple places to eat--public fishing pier as well

Sunrise was beautiful near the Lake Worth Pier this morning.
Lots of people got up early to see the sunrise! Good parking near the pier.

Nice beach. I was affraid of sharks- didn't see any. Not for swimming, just jumpping on waves. Clean and eacy access. Showers and toalets nearby.

Smaller crowds and easy access make this a great beach to relax. Shops, restaurants, and places to sit down are also great addition to Lake Worth Beach.

Most of the beach spots are the same on the Atlantic but this place is somewhat unique in off season. Kinda small town laid back area. Nice pier, good restaurants and easy walking area with clean shower areas.

Took my family from Jersey here and they had the best time. It is one of the best beaches around! Not only is it a great beach to swim in, there are plenty of restaurants, a couple of bars and a cool gift shop as well. Don't forget about the great pier if you love fishing or just want to take a nice walk.

I never cared for this beach. Parking expensive and so many other nice beaches with reefs that you can snorkel

You can stroll on the beach a pleasant distance in both directions. Look for interesting seashells in the sand, & schools of small fish near the shore.

A gorgeous beach to take a long walk on @ Sunset ~ the sapphire water glistens & the sound of the waves is perfect.

Rentals for beach chairs, umbrellas, lounges and cabanas on this 1,300' of guarded beach are available ~ or you may bring your own.

Also check out the Beach Bonfire on Fridays from 6-9p from November - February. Some nights there is live music. Come early to avoid standing in line to pay the Parking kiosk.

Parking is $2 per hour. Kiosk takes Quarters or a Debit or Credit Card. It does not take paper money. There is a minimum of 2 hours / $4.

Print the Receipt & lay it on your dashboard. Do not let your time expire ~ here or anywhere else.

Fantastic Beach hidden in a little gem of a city called Lake Worth!

The restaurants are great,but nothing beats the view of the beach!

Years ago the Lake Worth Beach was kind of crummy but..........no more. The beach is clean and there are friendly lifeguards there from 9 to 5. There are cabana shelters available for rent on the beach and the Lake Worth Pier is right there, as well as restaurants across the street and one at the pier. The public restrooms are clean and there's a grassy and shaded picnic area nearby. Spray sunscreen is available for a small fee. Lots of parking with centrally located meters that accept credit cards. It's a great place to spend the whole day.

We were staying in Fort Lauderdale and decided to visit Lake Worth. We decided that we would like to go by train instead of driving so we travelled on the TriRail which was very satisfactory.

This is the second year we have spent the holidays at Lake Worth Beach. It is wonderful! This year they updated the bathrooms which was great. The beach is very clean and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

About a mile walk or short ride from downtown. Metered parking was a little expensive at $3/hr.. Lantana Beach a few miles south was nice and parking 1/2 the price. The river park is free and there was a nice farmers market weekends at the bridge.

Very pretty.... shops in walkway. It's elevated about the beach. There's a fishing pier. Pay parking. . Do not back in per signs. They were giving out tickets. Ice cream, t shirt shop, restaurants. There are bathrooms, beach showers and a playground too.

A busy and crowded place. While there are public restrooms at the beach and at a picnic pavilion, I did not find adequate changing rooms. It is an ordeal for a 75 year old to change clothes in the front seat of a compact car.

Although the day was overcast and the water was rough, we enjoyed the afternoon with our grandkids. They offer cabanas and beach chairs for a nominal cost, if desired. The life guards are visible and helpful. It's a clean beach, which also has a playground, a pier and a restaurant. Parking is $1.50 per hour.

Not really a casino here anymore- but there is a great pizza parlo4, wonderful ice cream and Mulligans has reasonably priced hamburgers, etc and a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is clean, nice bathrooms, showers. Love it here

A beautiful beach.....great access.....lots to see and do....super kids playground.....stores and restaurants. The beach is well marked and there are lifeguards.

Lake Worth Beach is one of those hidden gems that if you did not know about it and if you somehow stumble upon it, you will think, how come no one ever told me about place.

Go and enjoy a great time.

This is our "go to" beach when we want to snorkel, play in the sea or just relax. Lots of parking, nice restaurants for a quick bite and great little shops!!

I enjoyed my time at this beach. There are lots of restaurants nearby and there is plenty of parking.

the beach is magnificent here in Lake Worth. Restaurants and little shops are nearby. Parking fills quickly , Must walk out on the massive pier to really experience the whole beach concept.

The beach is pleasant and sandy but not easily accessable. The car park is expensive and the pay machine wanted a minimum of $6. Therefore, it was easier to park ( although not convenient for all) on the Lake Worth town side of the Intracoastal waterway, go for a walk over the bridge to the Coast, sit at the beach for a while, then continue the walk back over the bridge while enjoying the scenery.

Staying in nearby hotel and walked over to the beach area. Lovely walking promenade park and commercial venues. Relaxed and unpretentious as downtown Lake Worth. Lovely views. Most enjoyable.

This is a great beach with plenty of things to do. There are restaurants, ice cream and some shopping. It is a beautiful area.

It was only $8 to park for 5 hours. The beach was ok. A decent amount of trash on it but I'm sure they are still playing catch up from the 4th of July weekend. I'd go back again

Rocky not at all what I expected even though is on the Atlantic. Great waves but that's it. Not even close to any beach on the gulf side.

Good beach. My kids loved the ocean-sized waves. Being an ocean beach, it is more about the waves and the beach than the shells, of course. Easy, inexpensive parking. Great pizza at the restaurant right off the beach. Nothing special, but a good beach!

This is a very nice beach to visit. There are a couple restaurants to get a meal and shops for killing time. The ocean is beautiful and great place to watch the moon come up over the water.

It is one of the beach we are always going in family.
They have public restrooms, public pool, 1 store, ice cream place, 3 different restaurants and a playground. Depending which days but usually the beach is clean.

If you want a family orientated beach with playgrounds,plenty of barbeque spots and a fishing pier ,and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.Lake worth beach is your spot.Weekend days you need to come early for a close parking spot.They even have a freshwater swimming pool but is not expensive to use.

We stayed at a hotel within walking distance of the beach & went there multiple times a day. I appreciate all the sidewalks in the area to be able to run along the beach without actually running on it. Lots of people, but able to find your own space. Water is beautiful, beach is beautiful! Totally worth it!
If you are an early riser, the sunrise view is beautiful!

Easy access to beach from parking lot. Parking fills up on nice days so come early. Clean restrooms and foot wash outdoor showers.

Clean, well staffed, lots of parking, bathrooms, foot washers, etc etc. waves were high so swimming was red flagged but still beautiful.

Spent a beautiful Saturday here. You have to pay to park but there is plenty of space. Rented a double chaise with wind cover for $40 for the day. Walked the beach and the pier which will cost you $1 per person.

Very nice beach, good parking, lifeguards. We had a very nice day and there weren't too many large groups. The beach is a typical east coast beach, sandy but Shelly and rocky too. Beautiful views!

During the pandemic in 2020 avoid this place unless you seeking to contract COVID-19. The public parking lot close to the beach was packed with cars circling to find a space. When I got out of my car there were people walking all around me. About 90% or more not wearing a mask. I fled immediately. My wife told me she witnessed a similar scene at another Florida beach about 20 minutes south. Best to avoid Florida beaches until there’s an effective vaccine.

parking is expensive 3hr and can be difficult to find. the beach was crowded and social distancing was a challenge.

Very nice beach with nice nearby restaurants. Good views. The parking is metered, expensive, and can be hard to find. I usually don't stay at the beach long enough to want to deal with the parking and will go down the road to either Gulfstream Park or Ocean Inlet Park both of which have free parking.

Hurricane Matthew took a heavy toll on the Lake Worth beach. It removed about 1/2 of the sand, so there isn't as much beach left. The parking is good and the restaurants are decent, but the beach itself needs to be restored. I prefer Delray Beach, which is twice as deep.

Super nice time! Even with the yellow flag...super xkean and lots lots lots of shells. I will be back this weekend

Tourist are always welcomed, but if you live in south Florida and haven't been to the beach in awhile, this beach is worth a visit. Lifeguards, a picnic area, ample parking (pay at various kiosk spots located throughout the lots), a variety of restaurants options, tourist shops, benches. A day at the beach may help remind you why you decided to relocate to this tropical paradise!

St PATRICK day was crazy at Benny's . People signing and dancing. We where put on a hour wait list. But everyone was on the beach even with it being cooler out.

We visited several beaches while vacationing in Florida. This beach was ok but not one I would go out of my way to visit again.

Clean groomed beaches. Access only through a beach park, because of resorts and condos lining the street. Clear water, plenty of parking. No admission. Restrooms available

We spent most of Sunday checking out the beaches along Ocean Drive in Palm Beach county. By far the cleanest nicest, easiest to park at was the Lake Worth Beach. All beach services are available, plus a couple of great restaurants, beach showers and rest rooms. All there and available to the public. Less seaweed there than at any of the others. Really bad season for the seaweed. Plenty of nice clean beach for your chairs, etc. Or they can be rented there. Very comfortable and great breeze all day.

Large beach with lots of parking. The parking is $2 an hour. There are stairs to climb so would be difficult for a disabled person to access the beach. High surf while we were there with red flag and no swimming flags out. People in the water with their children anyway. There are lifeguards there. They kept blowing their whistles and motioning people to come in. People pay attention these warnings need to be heeded. They are for your protection.

The beach is absolutely gorgeous, turquoise water, and alive with a unique cast of characters. Almost reminds me of a mini Venice Beach, CA…east coast edition. Great place to relax with friends and family. Afterwards, take a drive south on A1A….absolutely stunning homes and landscaping 🌴🦎🐠

Went with my wife and 3 year old daughter. Very energetic, fun and friendly beach. My daughter collected some new shells and the water was great!

Often a city tries for something and gets it wrong. However this is not the case with the Lake Worth beach. The city got it right. They nailed it! There is plenty of easy access parking, the landscaping is clean and beautiful, and once you get to the top side of the beach, it's gorgeous. There are great food options, miles of beautiful beach to walk, and one of the longest piers in the state of Florida. Perfect!

Not just a beautiful beach. If you're hungry, Momma Mia on the boardwalk sells fantastic pizza and there are other restaurants nearby.

Easy access to the public beach from the pay parking (2 hour minimun). You can bring your own chair and food/drink and just listen to the waves crash. Not crowded during the off season or during the week.

The beach/pier was just a few minutes drive from our hotel. Wonderful place to watch the sunset. Check out the water front restaurants. Public paid parking is available at a walking distance to the beach. The beach is kept clean and it was not crowded. Enjoyed our evening and so will you.

This was a beautiful beach, with easy -- and free -- parking, amenities (including rental chairs, umbrellas and cabanas, and several shops and restaurant on the boardwalk. Only downside was that it was an extremely windy day with high surf, so we didn't enjoy it to the extent that we would have, but we'll definitely be back!

Crowded, noisy, inconvenient parking. There are many other beaches in Palm Peach County that I find more enjoyable

nice beach--we were there right after hurricane Irma and they did a great job cleaning it up. Ocean waves are huge so be careful...but, a nice beach for sure.

The paid Parking can be a problem at this beach as it is very popular. But there is a great restaurant and a boardwalk with some shops if you need to take a break from the sun.

I grew up in WPB and cruising the beach on a Friday night brings back so many memories. I love this beach, it feels like home ❤️

Lots of families and couples on the beach. Plenty of room to spread out and amenities (like Benny's) closeby.
But if you want quiet and a lot of space, go to Phipps a mile or two north up the road. Wonderful and wide. Plus you can park for free for 2 hours if you get one of the marked parking spots.

Although the beach is decent and water warm. As well as Benny’s on the Beach restaurant has great food, the crowd at the beach can be rough.

The pier attracts some some unsavory characters and toughs hang around the beach.

Locals call this place “Needle Beach” for a reason. Exercise caution!

The beach area is to die for....

The water is Krystal clear....

The surf is very high sometimes & you have to catch a good day with flat, clear visibility.
The sun is very hot....don't burn your feet & wear sunscreen...

There are no food or drink services on the beach, but you can bring your own food.... sharing is up to you.
I was surprised at how many nice families were there enjoying their beach vacations.

Surprisingly, not many amazing beach bodies....
& no cool beach parties....

I did meet a very hungry large iguana on the front part of the beach....

There are bathrooms & showers for all.

The casino area has a few good food places....
Benny's sucks...
Laplaya was very good for an afternoon lunch....

The beach police are not friendly & they will not assist you if you are hurt or in need....

Loved being on Lake Worth Beach. White sand, ocean was great not too crowded. Food across the street and covering on broadwalk if you cannot take sun.

Walking on this beach is kinda steep and sand is soft so footing is a bit uneven.
But they take the area with a tractor and clean up debris.
Watch out for turtle nests!

This beach is beautiful! It has a nice strip of stores, the ice cream store was my favorite!
Safe for a woman to go alone, I did early and very late every day. Never felt unsafe.
There is a life guard. I didnt swim, just walked along the surf, very clean and a relaxing respite from my work. It is pricey to park, but all of the beaches are $4 for 2 hours.
They do ticket too, so just pay to park. It's worth it!

Spent the past two days here. Read in the morning and watched the sun come up. Played in the waves all afternoon. Everyone was super friendly and interacting with each other. Very cool vibe!

Terrific day walking the fish pier and soaking up the sea and sun. Always lively , terrific for people watching.

Nice beach to spend the day on. There is a long pier to walk and look at the fish the fishermen are hauling in. There is a nice seafood restaurant on the pier and a separate bar for just drinks. There are great restaurants across from the beach. Mulligans has a delicious mix of food types. There is also a pizza restaurant called Mama Mia’s. I am Italian and let me tell you, their pizza is one of the best I’ve had. You can get it by the slice, so indulge.

Not the best beach in Palm Beach County, but still decent. They redid all the surrounding areas. The pizza at the pizza shop is amazing and Benny's on the beach is fun too.

Lake Worth beach has not only the beach, but a pool nearby. The pier is great Places within walking distance to eat, and shop. Restrooms available. The sand is okay, but does not compare to beaches such as Siesta Key or Clearwater Beach.

Weekend parking can be a challenge, even though there's a huge parking lot (@$3/hr -- bring a credit card!). Otherwise, the beach is large, clean, and wonderful with crystal clear water (watch the flags for warnings and heed those warnings -- safety first!) and abundant clean, warm sand on a wide, pleasant beach. There's also excellent food and refreshments quite close. As well, when COVID reopening allows, there's a great water park right there. Oh, and Benny's on the Pier is always worth the walk. The food's pretty good, and the history of the place is worth making the trip.

Bring a cooler and an umbrella as the Florida sun is unforgiving. You will burn and you will dehydrate if you're not careful. That goes for any Florida beach. Don't play around with heat exhaustion. It's not fun. Just ask Stacey's daughter if you're still unsure.

I’ve lived here through the old beach and all of the fenovations. The beach itself is very pretty and well cared for. When the buildings were renovateded they eliminated a big chunk of upper parking to make the road that goes up and around by the beach two-way. Unnecessary since 90 percent of the people still go the old way around. There also used to be a small covered area to jump under on the sidewalk that overlooks the beach if it rained. They redid it with a roof of slanted boards which only have a decorative effect but no cover from sun or rain. Disabled parking is far more limited with the cuts so if you can’t hike up the slope from the lower parking...if there’s even space there.... you’re not able to go. I enjoy going late afternoon when the crowds have thinned.

Great place to rent an umbrella, or bring your own. Couple of good restaurants, souvenir shops and general beach life. Nice sand.

Beautiful clean beach! Soft sand and clear water! Parking at the park was easy and affordable. I only wish I had taken a boogie board for the great waves!! Definitely recommend!

This is a great beach. Nice sand, a pier, restaurants, everything you'd like. There is a large amount of seaweed right now (July) but the water is great.

I love Lake Worth Beach. My whole family loved Lake Worth Beach. Though we live right by the Palm Beach public beach, Lake Worth is much more fun. It has great parking with electronic pay kiosks that that cash and cards. Lots of parking. They have ample handycap parking. Great walkways that are paved and even so good for those in wheelchairs or walkers. Lots of benches. Covered picnic tables under the trees with BBQ grills to use. A clean and large well guarded beach. The beach has a gentle slope in the water with sandbars just off shore. It is great for children or the aged - easy in easy out not too deep. Next to the pier is an area with a goodd break for surfers. The beach is well guarded with several multi manned guard towers. Emergency rescue is close by for those who worry about health emergencies. The beach is quite long with garden paths. There is a children paly area too. There are several restaurants: Bennies on the Beach, Mulligans, Mama mias pizza, Kilwins ice cream and candy, and also a surf shop with shirts, bathing suits and all things Florida beach. Go for a swim or spend the day it is awesome!!! The casino complex has a ballroom you can rent out. They offer weddings on the beach and receptions in the ballroom. They also have art shows and other special events. We love the Bonfire nights on the beach or the monthly Full Moon Drum Circle parties. Chech the Lake Worth Website for more info. Unfortunately closed right now, they have an awesome olympic swimming pool - the pump equipment is broken right now and the city may redevelop the swim complex (lets hope not) but if it opens again it is great for lap swimming and they kept it tosty warm for Floridians who put sweaters on when the air hits 69. Highly recommended. Very busy during holiday weekends so stake out your piece of paradise early!!! No dogs no alcohol on beach!!!

There was plenty of parking early in the day. The beach has lovely white sand. There is a bathroom at the muni pool. Lifeguards were on duty.

Nice, clean beach. $3/hr to park. Not pet friendly. Pier is primarily for fishing, but $1 to stroll it.

Love this beach im not a beach person but this beach is great. It has restaurants right there so you don't have to leave. And it is clean

Peaceful, clean, safe beach. Ample parking. Naturally during the weekends the crowds are larger. Many families and locals. A very nice beach. That just about covers it.

Beach is clean! Life guards on duty until 5 which gives me a sense of safety. The flag colors are always displayed which warns you of any hazards or indicators of an all clear day!

You have to pay to park. The pier is being fixed but you can still walk down it for 1.00 a person. Shops along the walk. Plenty of benches to sit at if you don't want to get in the sand.

Great beach. Very clean and plenty of parking. Great restaurants within walking distance. Great pier to walk out and go fishing.

The beach is beautiful and didn't have a bunch of loiters and teenager just hanging out. Parking was not ideal and had to search for a working machine to pay. The sign on the building says casino which made us think there was a casino but it was just the name of the building. Which was a little disappointing.

Stunning view, clear , blue water. It was hard to park there, even during the week. Needs more parking spots

The Beach is a popular Destination for Locals and Visitors Alike! Its clean & you can do some shelling at times the Pier is great for Fishing! The Beach & Pier has also been featured on The Weather Channel from time-time as I have personally posted on there as well!

Its about average for central Palm Beach county. I normally prefer to go south or north for the beach personally and definitely better than Singer Island and the tourist beaches.

Lots of people here, nice to see a crowd. Life guards on beach. People were fine and many families too. Lots of various loud music all around. Nice bathrooms. Parking was easy to find in lots. Parking is $6 for 2 hours, $9 for 3 hours. There may be options for less and more time. Walkways kept nice. Places to sit along walkway that goes along beach. It looks like beach umbrella and lounge chair rentals are available.

Great beach, for walking,swimming,relaxing in the sand, eating local and some shopping. Lifeguards on duty all the time. Lots of parking but you do have to pay. The view at night is amazing. It’s a nice walk whether on the beach or the pier and do some fishing.

A very busy area. Difficult to find a parking sport. The beach is nice and clean and the water sparkles. There is a near by place to eat.

Metered parking with long haul to get to the beach with your stuff. Only the lucky few who get there EARLY will have any ease of access to sand and surf. Not much in the area to do, a few eateries, Benny's (fish and chips are great). Found it be not worth my time, effort and $$.

What make this beach standing out from others around are the fine sand, the spectacular pier, the restaurant at the pier with karaoke bar, and the public swimming pool and stretch of nice cafes and shops facing the beach. Very nice parking complete with clean wc and showers. But beware not to park backing up as you will receive fine ticket; read the parking sign.

Our beloved beach is not for family visit anymore. In two month I went there two nights with my family to see the full moon and one time during no moon. You smell weed every where, at the beach or at the parking lot. This beach is beautifully renovated now and attracts many people now I hope authority puts on eye on these illegal activities and make the beach enjoyable for everybody.

Usually very crowded. There's a lot of trash and cigarette butts in the sand, it's not well maintained. It is nice to walk the pier and dine at Benny's on the Beach.

We were at Lake Worth Beach during the month of August. While we did not go swimming,we did walk on the beach. I have to admit it was a really pretty beach (I'm from NJ) & I couldn't believe how clean it was. The water was very clear, no waves. There weren't that many people at the beach don't know if it was due to the fact we were there during the week, or the time of day (about 3pm). You can rent chaise lounges with umbrellas. All in all I was impressed. I did see a parking lot just for beach goers, but I don't know how much they charge. Since we were eating at Mulligan's we parked about 2 blocks away in a different parking lot. There are alot of restaurants around for people to try. across from the beach.

Wide beach, lots of privacy, never too busy. Water is wonderful, sand is softer than in Palm Beach. Smaller buildings around, offering some privacy. The main area has a pier and couple restaurants, shops. Then you can walk to the North as much as you like

Spent four days here on our vacation. The beach never gets old. Blue water, sand, shells. Wonderful!

This beach is wide and sandy with an eclectic and well behaved crowd. Sitting on this beach affords a calming view of the ocean and the pier that juts into the Atlantic and is occupied by Benny's restaurant and hopeful Fishermen. Directly behind the sand is the newly upgraded community pool and a row of restaurants including Mulligan's. There is plenty of parking which is metered but worth the fare.

We were here in September and had excellent beach weather! Sunny, no wind, almost no waves, it was great! Not too crowded at all. We rented an umbrella and two chairs which was a little pricey but worth it for the entire day!

Have to pay to park which I don't like. It is a nice beach. Went out on the pier. $1 and they are fixing it up.

A nice clean public beach, great family spot, metered parking a group leaving in their jeep passed on their parking ticket to us as we were going into their space so we got a free extra hour so nice!

The beach itself is very nice, it has nice fine sand and overall pretty clean. The parking is another thing. Finding a spot is hard when you have to drive round and round to catch someone leaving. The cost is a bit high, but somewhat average I guess. It has nice access to some good restaurants and a casino. Overall pretty good.

Beautiful beachfront, clean maintenance with public restrooms. Reasonable parking fees, weekends are not the best time for tourists even overflow parking is a commodity. Bennie's on the Beach offers musical ambience and deck dining, menu available online. Can walk to casino by beach or sidewalk.

The is a beautiful beautiful beach. My first time feeling the sand on my feet and walking by the Ocean. The beach is lined with palm trees and condos. There is parking close to the beach but it is metered. The beach is very clean and we'll kept. The lifeguard is on duty from 9am to 5pm. Great place for a family fun day.

On the left side of the beach (next to the fishing pier) there's a special section that has a special mat for regular wheelchairs to roll across the sand. There's a extra wide wheelchair ramp connected to this section as well. When parking in the handicap parking spots. Make sure your plates or placecard is visible. They will issue tickets. Parking in the lot is $3.00 per hour. Credit cards are accepted at the kiosk machines.

Parking can be a little challenging, but the beach was pretty clean, life guards on duty, and for such a busy place....it was quiet and relaxing. The water was nice and clear too.

This is a clean beautiful stretch of beach. When it's windy watch out for jellyfish. Great for wave boarding, laying out, or building sand castles.

This place is no good. We decided to take a stroll on the beach at around 6pm... well, our first impression were two women fighting each other on the ground and people just observing. No one had called the police... gross. Then we went to the restaurant on the pier... the food was tasteless, and the service wasn't great either. Not at great evening for our family.

First time visiting Lake Worth as we just moved to the Delray area. The water sparkled and was clear and clean. The sand was soft and the beach had plenty of room to stake out your space, including laying down towels and placing your umbrella. It was a very family friendly crowd and the beach had a grassy park area, a parking lot close by and outdoor showers and facilities. The beach is also attached to the pier which provides restaurant and bar choices throughout the day. We will definitely be back.

The water is nice and clear. The waves were not crazy and I was able to relax in the warm water on a July evening. It's a nice peaceful place that is well taken care of. I would definitely return.

I rented a house in Lake Worth for the month of January and we looked at 4 beaches to go to. At first I ruled out LW but went and checked it out anyway. An I am glad I did. It exceeded my expectations. Easy parking, little more work on weekends, kiosks give you a printed ticket (unlike the others). Bathrooms clean, foot sprays outside,etc. Nice walkways with plenty of benches. Clean beach, patrolled, Lifeguards (2) from 8 to 5. People who run Ocean Beach Services are great, they set up the chairs and umbrella anywhere you want. The Town has spent some money here and they were building 2 brand new Big Bathrooms. Nice Fun Beach for inexpensive money. We went there 5 times and didn't go to any of the others again. Oh, and Mamma Mia,s Pizza is right there. I wish I was there right Know.

Clean sandy beaches, available parking, washrooms and nearby restaurant makes for a great beach outing here. Not overly crowded on the weekend.

Beautiful beach! Not too crowded, smooth sand, beautiful shells. You can rent umbrellas and chairs. Also good facilities and Benny’s beach bar close by.

My best advice to anyone visiting this beach is to get the Parking app put on your phone. It makes the visit much less stressful.
The restaurants and shopping lend so much more to a visit.
Restrooms and changing areas are of a concern to many. Not to worry. Plenty of facilities.
If your not the type to layout on the beach and take a dip, fine. Use the boardwalk to enjoy the views and do some people watching.
Evenings, especially when there is a full moon, is a happening. Get a parking spot on those nights early.

A great beach for walking. We started at the Lake Worth Pier and walked for a good 45 minutes north and then back. Clean, quiet (during the week) and had a wonderful time.

Always clean peaceful and easy access. There are shops, restaurant, walking dock to visit. Also a very safe place to be.

This is our closest beach and we are not sorry. Lake worth beach is really big as far as "beach" goes. Lounge rentals are available. Bathrooms are accessible and clean in the casino and near benny's. Great places to catch a bite like Benny's on the Beach and Mulligans. Parking is metered but come early because it's hard to get a spot after noon.

Busy beach as it is centrally located for lots of folks. The beach is nice but the parking isn't the best. It is operated by the city and can get pretty expensive. You pay at a kiosk with a credit card. There is usually a line to pay at the kiosks because they aren't very user friendly.

Lake Worth Beach was easily accessible from the nearby carpark, beside Benny's on the Beach . It was busy but not overcrowded and had a wide mix of holiday makers enjoying the beach on several windy days when we visited .

I went there with family, and my dog charlie!! We all had an amazing time, we saw the beautiful majestic birds and took many pictures and met many WONDERFUL people!! I even cheated on my pregnant wife with one of the lovely ladies i met lol.

We took our great niece and great nephew and their mom and dad to the lake Worth beach. Parking was bad but did find a spot. The kids (4 and 6) loved the water. Not much in waves. Then we walked over to Mama Mia’s for their pizza. Back into the water for the kids. Enjoyable, beautiful weather and exhausted children when we left!

I don't like the ocean very much but decided to try it since I was visiting my mother who loves the ocean. I was very surprised to how beautiful and warm the water was. It made me feel so much more comfortable. It was one of the best beaches I have ever been too. Simply beautiful.

Clean, good sand, nice long "shelf" of shallow water for kids. Lovely shells. Fun snorkeling for shells and fish (lots of flying fish this year) and occasional crab. Lots of places to shower off afterwards. Wooden loungers great for reading. Nice playground for kids available. Bathrooms are being rebuilt. Good food nearby. Parking has parkmobile zone which made adding time easy without long walk on busy days. Kind of annoying that it has to be added in two hour increments.

Chalkboard with water temp and danger info very helpful. Lifeguards are friendly. Love going in the evening to relax in the warm water. Not many waves the entire week we were there this year. Has been wavy other years.

I enjoy Lake Worth Beach. The beach is clean, and there is not a huge drop during low or high tide which I like. There is plenty of parking. They have a nice pier that you can stroll on and see tons of sea life or fish. ($1 pp access) There is a cute restaurant right on the pier, it is pricey and the food is average ( used to be really good) but the atmosphere is the draw. You can sit on the beach and hear the music from the bar/restaurant. There are also a variety of other restaurants within the public parking area of the beach. This is my go to beach, easy to reach from 95

Crazy busy beach but well run by the city. Super beach that's because there are so many people you won't have much privacy or solitude.

This beach lacks the shade provided by Palm Trees, it is always too crowded even on weekdays. The surface ocean temperature is warm at 85F degrees only two months of the year, when compare to Key Biscayne's Crandon Beach, this one lacks many things. The parking is way OVERPRICED. The ocean tide makes this beach overcrowded for most people, whereas in Crandon, the sea level is always low for a long distance from the shoreline. The day I was there people were walking their dogs on the beach why we were there. One dog decided to go to the bathroom while they were playing. Owner dug a little hole and pushed it down in the sand. I probably won't go back

When anyone comes to visit they immediately want to go to Lake Worth Beach it is very beautiful with shops, a pier with good food and other places to eat and drink. Walking in the sand early morning or dusk to watch the sunset is something to behold. One of our better attractions in Lake Worth.

If the beach is what you are looking for, Lake Worth Beach is where you ahould go! Single- no problem! Couple- simply perfect! Family- fun in the sun! The beach itself is wide and clean and the water can be carribean blue , warm and wavelesd or derp blue and surgavle depending on the wind and the day! Eithervway, its perfect for ling walks, building sand castkes and getting a fantastic tan! There are public restrooms and ahowers, plenty of parking (not free) and lots of places to eat, drink and be merry! On the boardwalk! You can have food setvyon the beach and tent chairs and umbryor just bring your iwn! Both goid choices. There is a playground and covered picnic area too- great for young children. Benny’s in The Beaxh is good for breakfast and GREAT for lunch and dinner. The bar serves great drinks, good wine and uce cold beet- a really nice Happy Hour Too with live music- classic rock muxed with an Island beat and iof couse, some Jummy Buffet too. I live going to watch the sunset and liaten to some music- a sraycation for sure. My Granddaughter love to come here to and then play in the sand when she’s done. My grown kuds and I go alll The time to catch up and grab a bite. I recommend The Lake Worth Casino and Beach So highly! A great place to relax, enjoy lfe and make memories!

The Lake Worth Beach is a large beach. It has facilities and restaurants. The views are beautiful. The only downside is the parking has a fee per hour and gets full early. A clean beach to relax on.

We're here Christmas week. Loving every minute of the gorgeous views. Huge waves for boogie boarding and a very family friendly crowd at the beach. A handful of restaurants by the Boardwalk and miles of walkable beach. Don't hesitate to bring your family here - it's wonderful. Plenty of parking nearby for $3/hour or $10/day on ParkMobile app.

On a recent visit to the beautiful Lake Worth beach , we were stunned to find it not beautiful at all. When was the last time the seaweed was raked off the beach? We had to navigate around mounds of the stuff to find a cleared spot to place our chairs. Why is the beach not being cleaned?? If Lake Worth wants to keep up with surrounding beaches and attract tourism they need to get the seaweed off the beach!

Need to time strolls on this beach with low tide to have room to walk. There are spots with rocks and ripe tides can be a factor. Quite picturesque and short boardwalks.

Staying in West Palm Beach for Nationals spring training. Went to Palm Beach to find a bar or restaurant on beach...nope. Unless you stay at the Breakers. The rich locals do not want that type of clientele. To find a beach to play on and a cozy restaurant or bar you need to go south to Lake Worth Beach or Delray. More fun and you will be welcome.

We stayed in Lake Worth for 6 days during our vacation. Visited Deerfield Beach 1 time, spend most of our beach time at Lake Worth Beach. The Beach was very nice, not overcrowded (although it was March, the weather was in the 80's and great each day. Walked the Pier, played in the Ocean, Sea Shell hunting - had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the beach. Parking was not terrible, as it got later in the day, harder to find, but it was never a huge issue for us. As you walk down to the actual beach, at the top of the area, there were a few restaurants, a pizza place, ice cream and candy, a beach shop and a few other place. Close by place to grab something to eat if you so desire. All in all a good experience. Would spend my time there again if in the area.

Great beach, friendly people. Check out "Propaganda", cool alternative night club. "Blue Front Grill" has excellent Bloody Martinis with a delicious bbq rib on the glass. Portobello sandwich was so good too.

We went there to relax and that's exactly what we did. It wasn't too crowded although it was cloudy. No charge for the chairs or to get on the beach just had to pay for parking.

The beach at Lake Worth was very nice. The promenade above the beach was well manicured and had great beach showers. We enjoyed walking out on the Lake Worth Pier and seeing the fishermen and their catches.

This is a pretty nice beach. Big pier, a couple places to eat. Very clean and nice. Great view of the ocean and clean bathrooms. I like to relax here and take in the ocean. You will like it too.

Live close to lake worth Beach, there's nothing special about it. If you want to go for a walk on the beach or fishing on the pier then this is the place. The only down fall is that you have to pay a small fee to fish. And some times the sand needs some combing through, with all that sea- weed that has swept up from the ocean. The renovations has done some good for the beach. Cons beach can be dirty cans, bathrooms are disgusting, thumbs way down. Pro's. They do have grill's and seating and shower stations. Family friendly. Restaurant on premises.

Nice beach has a few stores and restaurants. Nice to sit in the evening and listen to the water and waves crashing. And smelling the air and water.

The beach are very nice and so much cleaner than the beaches in Jacksonville, FL. The beach was very close to the motel that I stayed in which made it very convenient. I love the fact that it was on A1A awesome.

We visited primarily to have breakfast at Benny's, which was awesome! The beach was covered in debris that obviously was not new with the tide. When we returned to our vehicle, we had a $30 ticket on the windshield for backing into the parking place. We looked around and about 50 feet away was a single sign forbidding that. I have traveled all over the world, parked in a million parking facilities and have never received a ticket for such a violation. What is galling is that I back in as a safety precaution because I have a van and backing into traffic is risky. I paid the ticket, but first BEWARE of this parking lot as it appears to be a revenue producer.

This place has the Atlantic Ocean, sand, fishing pier, restaurants and shops all together! The Casino Building also has an Olympic size swimming pool for those wanting to do water aerobics and more. The only reason I put "very good" rather than "excellent" is because there are parking meters. So just remember how much time you paid for so you don't get a ticket. :)

Yes, there are a lot of amenities here but it is the worst beach in the area for small children.

1) Parking is horrible. Now $3 per hour (plus $0.35) and the paying system has changed making it confusing. Sometimes the phone app just doesn't work. You make a mistake and it's a $30 ticket. If it wasn't your fault it is still a $10 admin fee after an hour or two. Each has a $3 service fee on line. Tickets have outdated info. Website is under construction. Easier to pay whatever they extort rather than deal with the website. It's currently a mess and not worth the hassle
Everytime I visit here I end up paying for someone's parking because it is difficult and it has gotten harder...

2) Water is a bit rougher here, waves break close to the shore. Other beaches have better shallow area for kids.

3) Not one of the rinse off showers worked correctly.

4) It costs to walk in the pier which I can understand.

On the plus side, it is a beautiful beach but no longer worth the drive for me.

Went to this beach yesterday at about 5 o'clock. Beautiful clean water and the beach was almost deserted. Love the protected turtle breeding areas. Could do with some more beach loungers and umbrellas. Couldn't sit there any earlier in the day. Much too hot!!

This wonderful Palm Beach County beach is a hidden treasure.

If you're looking for beach activities, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, or beach bad mitten this is the place to go.

This is a busy beach, with many families enjoying the calm water, however, the seaweed was awful. On the plus side, the sand is white and the beach is wide.

Just a really fun area with a nice beach. Lots of parking. Best thing to do in FL is just hang at the beach! There are good shops, restaurants and ice cream for before or after beach.

Lake Worth beach has a festive vibe. It is a converging point for many nationalities. Benny's Restaurant is an easy walk up at the pier to grab a bite or have a drink in addition to some restaurants right across the way. One of the attractions for us is that it is not as popular as some of the beaches further south. It is busy, but not so crowded that you can't move. There is also a lovely fresh market that is open for Florida Winter through spring. Our favorite Saturday morning is breakfast at a beach restaurant, followed by a walk on the beach then a visit to the fresh market located next to the inter coastal bridge. Gorgeous!

The waves were excellent. There was a tropical storm coming up from the south so the water was unseasonable warm so that added to the fun. My wife and I bought some blow up floating rings and and a blast floating on the high waves.

Nice clean beach with places on the water to eat. Setups for families playing in and near the water. Ice cream stores, tee- shirts store and plenty of security. There is also a life guard on duty. Nice clean beach!
Great location, paid parking.

This is one of the beaches to surf in Florida and is an excellent wave by any measure, despite its moodiness. Smaller swells, less than chest height, cause the waves to break up and move slowly. However, when large NE swells are running, lines form long, muscular, pointy lefts that push down the sandbar for over 100 yards as they wrap around the South Jetty of Palm Beach Inlet. It's very racy and barrels toward the inside on larger swells, but it's not especially hollow. The lefts are further opened by SW winds.

Because the shoreline to the south of Palm Beach Inlet faces somewhat southeast, sideshore N winds that blow across the Inlet have little effect on the lefts at Lake Worth.

In general this beach is very well maintained and a great place for medium to high level surfers.

It's such an awesome place to watch the sunrise, absolutely beautiful! There's also a restaurant to eat breakfast right on the beach!

It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day but there was plenty of uncrowded beach. We enjoyed collecting shells and pieces of coral. It beach is clean and there is amble parking but you do pay by the hour ($2/hr).

Lakeworth Beach is a great beach walk early or late n the day. I have done sunset several times and it is really a great way to start your day.

The beaches here are lovely. White sand, wide, spacious, blue seas and skies. The Lake Worth Pier is always a landmark to walk to. Watch out for portugese men of war or jellyfish during certain times of the year and walk around them.

Great beach. Massive area so you can find you own private space which I really like. Public toilets available which were clean enough. Plus shops and restaurants nearby incase you need buy refreshments etc.

Beach was very nice and calm but the 'Citation Police' are insane! I parked at the beach right in front of Bennys on a Friday morning. It was our last day on vacation so we went early, approximately 9:00 am. I got my family of four out of the car and as the most capable person there I proceeded to walk my family down to the beach and put the gear down, not setup a cover or get in the water... no i wanted to get my family situated on the uncrowded beach early in the morning. After being gone for 10 minutes to drag everything down I returned to my car to pay the parking and a ticket was already on my car. I hadnt been gone more than 10 minutes and the Citation 'Hero's' had swept in and dropped a $40 ticket on my car. Come to find out that after the 18 hour ride home I had misplaced my ticket and upon finding it I found that after !15 days! the damn ticket doubles!
The actions by a single parking citation specialist ruined my opinion of the beach at Lake Worth. We plan on making plenty of trips to southern Florida but there are so many beautiful places to visit with open beaches my SO and I decided we would never come to the town again or experience its beaches.
It only takes one jerk move to leave a bad impression and the single attendant, being so quick to ticket, just cost the city someone who would have spent another $1,300 to rent a home for 6 days and all the food an entertainment money we brought with us.
The beaches and town are grea0t and we have no problem paying for the location, but little things like paying $80 for walking your family to the beach make you feel like not coming back.
Thanks officer 8149 for citation #2051982. Your gusto to issue tickets within 10 minutes means we wont be coming back, ever.

Have been going to this beach all my life and have seen many changes. I wish when they did there last renovation they had not gotten rid of much need parking. Also you can't see much of the beach when you drive by like you could old days,but the beach itself is beautiful with nice restaurants, shops and a pier for fishing or just site seeing.

I have known and visited Lake Worth Beach for years but it wasn't until last year that I started hanging out on the pier. Every couple of weeks, I take a ride over there and go on to the pier with my binoculars and camera. You never know what mammals, ducks and pelagic birds you will see by or on the ocean. . If you enjoy nature photography, this place has it's ups and downs like any other place, sometimes it is slow but I have seen incredible mammals and pelagic birds and ducks on the pier. 95% of my visits, I have seen at least one magnificient frigatebird. Last month, I actually saw loggerhead sea turtles and a hammerhead shark. It was in May which is the season for loggerhead sea turtles. The local fishermen told me that there were two hammerhead sharks in the ocean and I also saw a smaller shark. November is the peak of the north to south migration season for pelagic birds and is also when I saw northern gannets, surf scoter ducks and red-breasted merganser ducks for the first time. You never know what you will see, so if you love nature, wildlife and birds as much as I do, you shouldn't just go sunbathing, check out the pier too. If you have a spotter scope, definitely bring it since some of the birds are migrating a bit far out. I got lucky on a windy day and they came closer to the pier. They charge $1.00 for you to walk on the pier. Last but not least, always respect and be courteous to the local fishermen on the pier!

Beautiful white sandy beaches, clear blue water, cooling breeze, it simply can't get any better than that!!

We have been going to this beach for years. It is a wonderful beach and the casino offers two restaurants and a shop and restroom facilities so one can stay all day and be happy! The beach has lifeguards and is posted for ocean conditions. We were just there in the area for ten days and love it!

We visited the beach a couple days in a row and loved it! The beach is clean and the water was blue and clear! We took noodles with us each day and floated in the waves. It was nice and relaxing. There are bathrooms close to the parking lot. However, on one occasion we found some undesirables lurking near them so after that, we used the buddy system to use them. There were plenty of shower stations along the parking lot, it was nice to be able to rinse the sand off. We did have to pay for parking. We had lunch and drinks at Benny's on the beach which was very convenient. When I get back to the area, I will definitely go back to this beach!

Because it is the closest to where our family live in Florida we visit this beach a few times a year. It always seems to be off season so the parking is only $5, but the facilities are nice. If it was during the season I could see where it may be a very busy beach. There are things for the children to do, which confuses me; if you're going to the beach, why do you need more than a bathroom and maybe a concession area for drinks and/or fast food items? When I was a kid we had to entertain ourselves with the sand and the waves.

We loved the view. The beach was closed due to weather. But we were able to spend one day. It was nice to walk and not be scared. You felt secure.

This beach is extensive. We sit on the southern section which is somewhat less crowded. The water is a delight. On high surf days there are surfers performing their acrobatics. There are public washrooms available and close. Benny's is on the pier and on the north side of the pier is the "casino" which houses several restaurants and shops. The beach itself is beautiful. Sand is soft and the seaweed is removed daily. If you're a beach goer, this is perfect.

My husband and I visited on Memorial Day Weekend. There were good sized crowds, but nothing too overwhelming. The beaches were clean and well patrolled by lifeguards and sheriffs. The water was extremely clear. I was impressed that I could still see my toes when standing shoulder deep. Although many signs said "No Dogs" we still saw about 5-6 dogs on the beach each day that we were there.

The beach had a beautiful view of the moon and ocean as we walked along the strip. Parking was easy and it is a nice place to go whether it's couples, or families. They have public restrooms, a play area as well as dining available. Daytime is a lot busier there but it is a pretty nice beach overall.

Not my favorite beach in Florida, and you have to pay to go. It can get expensive. There ae things to do on the beach, like Beny's, the Casino, There's a good boardwalk, and the beach itself has improved over the years. But do look out for the rocks. They are really old A1A. There's a nice art show in the gazebo on some weekends. Across the street is the Farmer's Market (seasonal). If you want to pay for parking, it's a nice afternoon. I'd rahter find a free beach, as it should be.

Lake Worth Beach is a beautiful tropical south Florida beach. They have facilities, parking, life guards. Its a fine tan sand, so bring suntan lotion, bug spray, and know when its time to come out of the sun.

I have visited this beach probably 5 times now and it is so well kept, the beach chair attendants are very nice and easy to work with. Life guards on duty and food options just steps away.

Lots of beach front - also Benny’s on the Beach restaurant is right there along w/ 3 other restaurants.
Metered parking - in season runs about $4 for 2 hours

We parked in the public parking ($1.50/hr), there is a nice small playground next to the parking lot and a restaurant over looking the water but we didn't see any beach access that resembled an ordinary beach. The access was a span of maybe 15ft with hard sand and many rocks.
Public restrooms were provided and clean.

I grew up in South Florida and went to this beach often. It was much more accessible than other South Florida beaches like Palm Beach.

From the shops to the pier, this is a good day trip. To walk the pier it cost $1.00. To fish a little more There was a band performing near the beach.

We had a good time at this beach. Nice sand. Parking not too far from the sand, and the beach is a good width: not too wide nor too narrow. There was a flag up warning about marine life hazards (jellyfish?) but we saw none. Waves are a bit intense. Only drawback was parking, at $2/hour. We had an eldely woman with us, so we rented two chairs and an umbrella for $25 for 3 hours. Not chap, but convenient. There are two nice restaurants and a casino nearby.

I spent an evening walking the beach front with my family prior to dinner. The beautiful sandcastles designs of Christmas and holiday designs. The light show and music were awesome. Kids were dancing and playing fun games. The city has done a great job in making it very family friendly. Lots of great food choices and beautiful boats to look at in the harbor. Parking in the garage is very reasonable!

Lake Worth Beach is a nice beach with some really good facilities along the boardwalk. Quality toilets and restaurants plus ample parking.

The beach is clean and we easily rented two chairs and an umbrella. At 9:30am on a weekday it was pretty empty, but by noon it was more crowded. Food, shower, sunscreen dispenser, etc. are all there.

I really like this beach as it is usually not as crowded and it is clean. Also, the length from parking to water is not as far as some places and in the summer, the hot sand in smaller area is a great thing.

Nice well maintained facilities at this beach. No rocks in the water. You can get a good pizza and ice cream at the plaza by the beach. The parking meters suck as you have to put in two dollars every time you add money otherwise the machines steal your money so don’t put one dollar only or you will lose it.

Stayed 2 weeks in lake Worth and had a great time. Visited the beach every day for at least 3 hours. The facilities are perfect - there are fresh water showers as you leave, the beach is totally litter free ( Community service servers regularly clean it up), the sea is warm and on windy days you can surf. There are life guards.....
The beach itself stretches for some miles in both directions if yr standing on the pier (where Bennys on the Beach is).......wonderful golden sands.
Go on you deserve it...go and enjoy.....Miami is a couple of hours away, so is Disney......

Lake Worth Beach is an absolute ole FL. treasure...lots of sand to hoist your beach umbrellas and blue green clear water to refresh yourself. Restaurants within walking distance offer great choices and great place to people watch . Oh..did I mention the Pier!

There are lifeguards, public restrooms and an ocean what more can you ask for! It is 2 dollars an hour to park in the public lot. You have to have coins or a credit card to park in the public lot.

We've been to this beach several times. There are chaise lounges and umbrellas available for rent. The life guards are active and surf conditions updated. It's adjacent to restaurants and stores and for sunblock, shirts, etc. There is a nearby pier and parking is available nearby also.

Parking is very close to Beach; no need to carry your stuff long distances. There is restrooms, showers and many restaurants nearby. Waves wash lots of interesting shells to shore for you to pick. Old concrete street is underwater about 30feet from beach. Very interesting spot for snorkeling. Lots of exotic fish around those rocks.

If your close to this beach and your looking for sand water and sun,there is nothing wrong with Lake Worth Beach and they have several nice eateries right there. They so do have a Beach cabana service.

Nice beach, beach lounger hire available, they do day passes which you can use throughout the different beaches too so that’s cool as it saves a little bit of money. Easily accessible from car park. Pay hourly parking 3 dollars an hour. Public toilets are ok. Nice food places, basic pizza which is the best we have ever had, or bit more up market Bennies on the Beach, less budget prices but all the same very very nice fresh food.

The Lake Worth Beach is a nice beach with lots of sand and not rocks. It has a pier which attracts fish and fisherman. There is a surf break on both sides of the pier, but the waves are most often enjoyed by windsurfers. A comfortable beach to put out a towel and catch some rays or go for a walk at the ocean's edge. The conditions of course change daily, but the water is usually pretty clear and a safe place to swim. The beach access has pay parking and does not get too crowded like some of the other local beaches including Delray Beach, Ft Lauderdale Beach, Miami Beach.

We usually drive up to the beach north of the Juno peer instead of going to our local beach, Lake a Worth. The beaches are very similar except that dogs are allowed north of the Juno Beach peer and my dog Ives nothing more than the beach. That said, we do occasionally leave the dog at home and enjoy the Lake a worth beach. You can walk for miles. The meter parking takes credit cards, but parking costs $4 for 2 hours which is a little steep.

Lake Worth is just a few miles south of Palm Beach. We chose to come here because it was not overcrowded and it had a larger parking lot. I think the parking was about $2/hour. Despite of its size, the parking lot got filled quickly by noon time.

The beach was clean and relatively peaceful comparing with places like Miami Beach. There was a small casino facing the beach and a long pier stretching into the ocean. It was a bit disappointing that you had to pay a small fee to walk on the pier. The grounds near the beach were well maintained and included necessary amenities. Overall a nice beach to visit.

A delightful beach on the side side of Palm Beach. Clean, lots of parking, lots of beach rentals, lifeguards. A nice spot to spend a few hours

town for wedding. We usually go to Gulf Coast. $2 per hour to park at meter. Venice Beach is free. We like the calmer water of Gulf, but if you like bigger waves this is for you. Restaurant, pier and beach all here. We brought cooler with our own drinks and food.

Under the bridge is my favorite place to be- shady, quiet, great view. Sand is clean. The parking is easy. Food is nearby- and above. The pier is nice to see.

Have been there twice so far this season and paid for the use of the beach chaises with the wind and shade covering. There is an eatery nearby, bathrooms nearby and paid parking nearby. Plenty of wave action here and fun to do a little body surfing or boogie-boarding. Modest crowds but plenty of room for everyone.

Nice public Beach to visit. If you need to have a nice breath of fresh air, or enjoy a nice sundown, please take the time to visit

I've been to many beaches in Florida. This one has enough sand to put down a blanket and enjoy the day. Well kept and plenty of places to grab a snack or drink

Came for a relaxing vacation from Clearwater, Florida. Never again!!! they advertise a Casino that does not exist. Parking is ridiculous to pay for 2 restaurants and to pay again to go on the Pier. Could not find a bathroom.. :( the family play ground consist of 3 pieces of equipment.
I felt like I landed in a high dollar wantabe beach....

The beach has almost entirely washed away, undoubtedly a victim of recent storms and high tides. Most likely, the state and municipality will restore the Beach but ultimately this is a futile proposition. The effect of rising sea levels from atmospheric warming cannot be denied.

This beach has it all! Love to fish? Step onto the pier and enjoy a lazy day. Plenty of parking, a restaurant (Benny's on the Beach) shops and picnic areas. Don't love swimming in the ocean? No problem enjoy a swimming pool with locker rooms to change. Plenty of shaded areas for those tendered skinned and probe to burn. Spend the day.... There's plenty to do.

First of all it is super clean and not too crowded.
It was easy to access.

The beach is so very wonderful many restaurants and shops car shows, bomb fire on the beach clean relaxing one visit you will be hooked they have a pool also picnic tables nice waves and at night the moon over the beach lighting the night very romantic

They don't clean the beach enough, too much sea weed. Too many times trash is overflowing. Need more bathrooms. All in all, decent beach.

Conveniently located to Benny's on the Beach. Great location, easy access. You must pay for parking. All beach parking is metered parking. They do not take dollar bills at those places. Cards and coins.

This beach is very nice, lots of room oceanfront, good parking availability, nice playground/picnic pavilion. Restaurants/shopping at the "casino" building. Very low key and relaxed.

the beach is beautiful, but the big down fall for this area is the parking, the wharf is wonderful, and has a couple of great places to eat.

In addition to the beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas, there are some restaurants and shops along the board walk and a nice playground for the kids.

The beach is unsuitable for swimming, there is practically a wall of seaweed in front of the water. Entrance to the pier is $1 per person, which is not much, but you pay for nothing.
Will be looking for a better beach.

My brother and I stopped at this beach while staying in Lake Worth on a short trip to pick up a car in Florida. The beach is a close walk to many hotels, and I would recommend walking as parking is hard to find. We went in April, and the beach was nearly empty. The water had large waves, and there were several people surfing nearby. We were the only ones in the water besides the surfers that evening, and we had a blast. One not of caution for families with smaller children - there is a serious undertow when the waves are big. Several times, we could feel the undertow trying to suck us out after a particularly large wave came through. As a result, we stayed around chest height without going any deeper. It was still a blast!

Visited this beach while on short vacation based on Trip Advisor reviews. While the area along the arrival route is a bit sketchy, the beach is nice. Rental beach chairs and umbrellas are available and we did rent. Tried to charge $30 for 2 hours. All we had was a $20 and he took it. (We didn't like that the prices are not made public or listed anywhere.) Seaweed was everywhere - wouldn't take much to drive a machine along beach to clean it up - kind of ruined the beach view and had to watch where you walked. No shells anywhere - a disappointment. Restrooms are very clean and convenient. Would go back again but would buy our own cheap chairs and toss them after we were done using them.

There are a few places to eat near by and also a public pool. There is a pier to walk out on and to fish off.

This is one of the better beaches, even though the parking situation might be a little difficult . If you get the ParkMobile app, you won’t have to wait in line to pay. The minimum is $6 for parking, you will pay for parking at every beach you go to anyway in South Florida. There are restrooms, restaurants, a little shop, and a wonderful pier $1 for strolling. It cost more for fishing. It’s a great place for families. The locals call it their Happy Place.

Was on a mini spring break vacation to West Palm Beach and received a recommendation for Lake Worth Beach from a relative as a nice public beach. The beach was easy to get to from I-95 and we found ample parking at 10 S. Ocean Blvd (metered parking which only takes quarters or a credit card). The beach itself is not deep with clean white sand and access to a small gift shop, a pizza place (pizza was just OK) and a pub (Mulligans) with good food and indoor / outdoor seating and take-out. You can also rent chairs and umbrellas though some may find the rentals to be a bit expensive (we paid $60 for 3 chairs and an umbrella for 3 hours). The chair / umbrella staff were helpful but close to rude at one point (don’t close your umbrella yourself – they need to close it for you!). We actually went to Lake Worth Beach 2 days in a row. Only downside was that there was A LOT of seaweed in the water.

I went to Lake Worth Beach two days in a row. Once after 5pm and another time around noon. I was near the park/casino/pier. I ate at Mamma Mia's and walked the pier observing the fisherman. It is clean, calm and quiet. Pricing for parking wasn't unreasonable. I would return.

Lake Worth offers all a great beach can offer. Plenty of sand to spread out on, if you surf, they offer a geat location for surfing. Parking can be tough on weekends. Bunch of restaurants to choice from at the beach and only minutes from downtown Lake Worth business district for additional dining and drinking options.

It was spring break and very busy but still the nicest and very beautiful beach. I want to move there.

Wedding Day was absolutely beautiful. Location! Location! Location! Early start at 8 am, after watching the sunrise. Locals were very nice. Then it was Mulligan's Beach House across the street to pull off a perfect reception.

This week, the color matched any island in the Carribean. What impressed me was how diligently the lifeguards watched swimmers. They blew the whistle any time they saw a situation which could become dangerous and spoke to the swimmers. The beach is large; clean. Big + is availability of parking in 2 large lots (metered). Boca, Delray Beach & Boynton have very limited parking.

Facing beach are restaurants, stores, ice cream, etc. A lovely day on the beach.

I go to this beach frequently. Conditions vary. Mostly its clean and I enjoy it. Often times trash and equipment not working such as the sand showers. Definitely not enough trash cans so people leave trash everywhere. They keep increasing parking fees.

Lake Worth Beach is a great beach with showers and bathrooms. There is also a pizza place, a shop that sells souvenirs and beach supplies, an ice cream shop and a restaurant. On the beach, you can rent lounges and unbrellas.
