Beautiful and historic

By jaydab22 |

It's really just a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the spring fed river. If you look close on the far bank you can find some of the springs.

Nice Park

By 314mathews |

We were excited to find a public swimming pool for an inexpensive price. We paid $5 for adults and $3 for children to swim in the Olympic size pool, Kid pool with slide and fountain and spring pool with zipline and rope swing. However, when we got in, we were very disappointed to find that the 2 pools were closed for the day and the spring pool was very crowded. The pool is good for strong swimmers. The ground is slimy and the water is mucky. Kids were catching crayfish in the waters. Looked like people were having a good time, but we were disappointed.

Not bad even in winter

By kmsmolen |

Nice walking paths, ducks and geese and squirrels. Little train ride for kids. The springs are amazing -- very large crystal clear water flow. The founders tree is immense. Lots of historical information, and arborist tree labels.

Walking worries away

By Debi S |

Landa Park is perfect whether you're feeding ducks and squirrels, taking a dip in the wading pool or walking your worries away.

Early morning hike

By Bt119DP |

We headed to Landa Park early after reading the reviews online. We were not disappointed. The trail walk is a beautiful rocky path heading upwards on a 2 mile route (approx). We saw several deer and got some get pictures. The park has lots of picnic tables and playground areas if you require these facilities. Well worth a visit.

Big park in a small package

By Stephanlee1 |

My kid came in with her fiance so it was time to take her to one of the parks we had visited when I was and she was a kid. We had a nice little group going of four adults to check the place.

The park has a regular swimming pool, a natural pool using the existing river as a water park, a kiddie train, many picnic tables, playground and more. Surrounding the area is what I believe to be fresh cool spring fed rivers that many people were enjoying to beat the heat. The water was crystal clear. The "lakeside" of this river has the option for paddle boats.

This is a great place to take your family

Beautiful!

By Michael E |

A nice step out of the traffic. The cool waters moving about; green grass and bushes, nicely manicured. Just a nice stop for the afternoon.

Nice outing

By Anna B |

Really nice hiking, not too difficult for all ages! Pretty park for families!! Busy place but plenty of room for everyone

Wow!

By marksK6892GI |

We're originally from CO and all I can say is this park is fantastic! So much to do with tons of trees and structures to shade from the hot afternoon sun. The lake is beautiful leaving this a must see when in New Braunfels...or even San Antonio!

Beautiful park!

By BoiseBeaker |

What a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon (or any afternoon). We took our grandchildren (and adult children) on the train around the park. It's just good old fashioned fun! Take a swimsuit because there are several places to get in and enjoy the clean/clear natural spring waters. Pack a picnic if you want, there's plenty of places to enjoy the park AND EAT.

Lovely

By Caltrac15 |

What a nice little oasis in this pretty city. Lots of amenities, walking paths, a little train, the river and paddle boats. There are ducks and geese and a wading pool for the kids. Book a picnic table in advance on the weekends because it’s crazy busy. There is a really nice 2 mile hike up the dry Comal riverbed. A great place for an outing, dog walk and a picnic.

NATURAL SPRING WATER!

By NewBraunfelsHeck |

Love this little park. Full of life, animals and humans. AND FREE natural spring water. This is the place to bring little ones, they have a public pool, a train ride and places to picnic.

Beautiful Park

By Brantley D |

Located in central New Braunfels on a river that begins and ends in the city limits. Spring fed crystal clear water. Good picnic area and the tubing is spectacular.

Jealous

By siracides3321 |

Landa Park💙 One of the best parks I've been to. Lots to see and do. The huge trees are beautiful. I would recommend spending the whole day there. Do the swimming area and pool. There's picnic tables under the trees, water slides for the small kids, playground, river pool with activities such as rope swing for older kids and regular swimming pool. The price to go in is great. After they close go out to enjoy the rest of the park and ride the train. Sit and take in the beautiful scenery or walk along the trails. Wish we had had more time to explore it. I'm so jealous of the people who live close enough to visit this park more often. My kids loved it.

Fun Family Park

By Way2Go |

This was a neat natural spring water park. They have kiddie pool, Olympic sized pool, and even a huge river pool that is constantly flowing through but it's so clean and cold. To have access to those facilities, the price is pretty good. For kids, $7 per and for adults, it's $8 (weekend prices and during the weekday it's a dollar less per person). Bunch of trees as you would have shades everywhere. Includes awesome long wet willie slide, jump rope, a cool big white island in the middle of the river pool. You bring ice chest for picnic time or u can use the grill within walking distance with a small pavilion. It's a great place to do family gatherings. They even have a cool small train that is around the area where you can purchase tickets to ride it. They also have paddle boat you can ride too. Check it for yourself and you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful Park

By julie72marie |

Landa Park is a beautiful park with its fresh water under ground springs, wild life consisting of deer, ducks, squirrels and more. Paddle boat rides and a train that takes you around the entire park (recommend this when it is to warm to walk). They sale feed to feed the animals along with refreshing snacks to cool off the humans too.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

By JulietM3331BW |

One of my all time favorite parks! Great to feed the ducks or go for a stroll, and to take kids to their amazing playgrounds.

Little piece of heaven

By Kimberly A G |

We were here for the Wurstfest Craft Beer Festival. What a lovely place! We strolled around under the shade of pecan trees, enjoying the view. Lots of picnic tables and places to rest, wide paths so there is room for everyone. The water trickles by and is so relaxing to watch. Can't wait to come back this summer!

Wonderful!

By Rita H |

This park is a treasure! Beautiful OLD Oak trees. Clear gurgling streams that are spring fed. This place is not just a Texas treasure but a national treasure. For children there is a train to ride and places to play and wade. Great for a picnic.

Quiet

By Susan C |

Relaxing paths in great park. Origin of Comal River very interesting from aquifer. Picnic tables, some sheltered. Evening brings tons of deer. Recommended.

The Park Where Nature Comes to You

By Dean S |

This was a fun park to visit to see animals. This area of New Braunfels is chock full of deer. Herds of them hang around in the neighborhoods near the river, so you're almost guaranteed to see some up close as you drive into the park.

When you get to the park you will see lots of different birds. We also saw at least two different varieties of squirrel. They are almost fearless and will let you get quite close to them.

The water in the river here is crystal clear, so if you take a paddle boat you can see all of the underwater fauna quite clearly. There is also a swimming area in the river here, but we didn't go swimming. The water was a pleasant temperature.

bird view

By jonathamstreeve |

this is nice place who like to see birds and stay quite. i think this place also good for nature lovers

Great Park!

By Amanda F |

Updated playgrounds and lots of shade. This park is where I went as a child and it holds so many memories. Definitely a nice park to visit!

Loved it!

By chirach82 |

Beautiful and peaceful! Take the train ride around the park, it is fun and just enjoyable. Brought back memories of a child. Everyone will enjoy!

Fun and FREE

By Katherine F |

This park is simple and beautiful. A peaceful lake, beautiful heritage oak trees, fun things for the Kids to climb and play on! There are also opportunities to splash around in the Comal Springs. You can ride a train through the park, ride paddleboats around the pond, or catch a round of mini-golf for an fee.

Ride the Little Train

By Diane B |

You don't have to walk the whole time spend the $3 and ride the train, it gives you a good overview of the park. Lots of stuff going on the Saturday that we came through.

Do not miss these three things here!

By Lacey C |

Don't miss the mouth of the Comal River! It is located at the west side and there are signs. So cool to see it coming out of the stone here! The historic tree is also not to be missed as it has an incredible story (I won't spoil it for you here). It stands in the middle of the west park so it's easy to find. Also on that side is the wonderful pond. We saw Egyptian geese, Canadian geese, American Comorant, Loons and Vultures. Just a beautiful place to visit!

Spent the day at Landa Park with my grandchildren

By Stacy B |

We rode the train, played in the park and watched the ducks. We had a great time. There was alot of people at the park but was able to participate in everything with now crowding.

Sunday outing

By Sharon W |

Great park. Relaxing environment. Walking trail. Comal river and fun train ride thru the park. Bring a lunch. Play on swings and enjoy.

Hundreds of Squirrels

By Texoma Family |

Huge, beautiful trees. Squirrels are friendly and stand on their hind legs begging for food as the train passes by. Didn’t see any deer at the park. Three play areas with different levels of difficulty.

Fun for Everyone

By Nancy S |

Beautiful large park with train ride for youngsters and plenty of equipment for old and young to play on. The deer do roam and there are ducks. Part of it has the Comal streaming thru. The most beautiful sight for me was a group of folks practicing some sort of graceful Asian movements...not sure what it was called but great to see.

Cold Water Retreat

By sisi123 |

Although we didn’t have a lot of time here, it was a lovely retreat from the hot weather. As I am told, this is a cold, spring fed area. The water is crystal clear and cold. The area we went to had an eco area, with all kinds of habitat and a cold pond where you could swim. This area was free.

Fun

By Brandy B |

It was fun for about an hour and then we were done. A good experience to say we went and rode the slide. Definitely worth the $5 a person

Deer everywhere

By Jeff D |

Go late in the afternoon and watch the deer emerge from the river bottom. Nice little park for the locals.

Large and peaceful

By bryanjohnson2016 |

Landa park is large and spread out. It has playgrounds for kids of all ages, fishing, hiking, swimming pools, wildlife and a really cool train to ride.

Lots of ducks!

By NHjo |

Took a short walk through the park -- nice landscaping, river, walking trails, and lots of ducks! It's a serene, lovely park.

Cool park and springs

By gustav2011 |

Really cool park and natural springs. There are a lot of amenities and sitting areas along with trails.

Took me by surprise

By Barbara S |

Wow! I was surprised to find this great park. So many natural springs and water. We were only there a few hours so did not get to take advantage of all the park has to offer. I did get to put my feet in the wading pool, see the Founder's Oak and check out the dance slab where the band would sit in the tree and play for the people dancing below. Will definately be going back on a future visit.

Pretty Park

By jcarolgentry |

Has great walking areas. Large playground. Swimming pool, wading pool. Lots of ducks, swans. Very pleasant area.

Beautiful Park !

By Anu91 |

I can now see why this park has sooo many awesome reviews. Landa Park is definitely a gem. In our 3 day stay in New Braunfels, we were at the park twice and for 3+ hours.
The kiddie train was a hit with our 4 yr old, so were the paddle boats and feeding the geese/duck/birds.
The childrens playground is huge and clean with lots of picnic tables around. It is a pet friendly park and you have to watch out to not step into surprises (when people don't pick up after their pets ) That was my only little complaint. Other than that, this park is fabulous.
Spring had not sprung when we were visiting but a few plants were bloomng (wisterias) and its not hard to see how gorgeous spring would be at Landa Park.
Definitely planning a visit soon.

Beautiful park

By Moved2Texas |

I had heard about Landa Park but never visited. I didn’t realize what I was missing. What a beautiful park! I was greeted with people fishing, children playing on the playground equipment and folks out enjoying the outdoors and taking walks.

Sadly the tiny train was not running that day, but I did see the train itself.

Large, beautiful park!

By Sheryl E |

Huge park with water features, picnic areas, walking trails and more. Would recommend good quality shoes for some trails which contain a lot of exposed tree roots and rocks--definitely not conducive for strollers, wheelchairs or walkers, but kids and dogs would love it!

A great afternoon

By hottoddy88 |

Take time to stop by this park and walk around. Spend the three bucks per person and enjoy some time on the paddle boats. The staff there was super friendly. A quick stroll through he park and you will encounter abundant wildlife. Be sure and take the littlest for a train ride through the park as well.

Quaint Park

By Beth G |

Great park! Lots to do; playgrounds, trails, train. Plenty of parking. Nice spot to take pictures. Easy to get to.

Huge tree-covered grounds on the Comal River

By Hollis D |

There can't possibly be a better-maintained public park anwhere. The day after July 4th crowds of hundreds, there is not a trace of litter or abuse. Throngs come from out of town to enjoy the river and see the fireworks. Dozens of picnic table, group pavilions, boat rental, Olympic swimming pool, moderately good parking except on holidays, gorgeous water.. Wurstfest at end of October.

My Favorite Place

By Rachel W |

I always loved Landa Park growing up, but now that I’m a mom of two kids, I love it even more. The improvements they’ve made over the years have substantially improved what was already a stellar park.

The scenery here is not matched anywhere else. They have several playgrounds, each dedicated to a particular age group. They have swings for adults, babies, and even children with disabilities. They have ducks and geese and fish that you can feed and observe. They have a train that you can ride all over the park. They have paddle boats. They have an aquatics complex where you can choose between a spring fed pool or an Olympic sized pool, both with fun features. Landa Park also offers camps and classes and toddler days out!

You will never believe all the things you can do here. Don’t just come and sit on a bench and wait for the play date to be over. Go into the park office and get a brochure. You will be shocked to see what’s available to do!

This is my favorite place on earth. If you give it a chance, I bet it will be yours, too.

Great spot for Doggie dip day!

By Moved2Texas |

We visited Landa Park on Easter weekend when they had "Doggie Dip Day" when dogs were allowed to swim in the river. There was a special spot for them to swim and all pups had a great time. Landa Park is a beautiful spot with shelter areas for rent, as swimming pool and spots to fish and play. They also have a great train that will take you on a tour of the park. It was a beautiful day and all had a good time enjoying Easter day at the park!

A Beautiful, Fun Place

By Debra B |

This is such a great place for kids! They have recently redone the beautiful spring fed wading area. Besides the wading the little ones can feed the ducks or use nets to catch minnows. There is a great antique miniature train that kids of all ages love. There are several different playgrounds for kids of different ages, and tons of picnic tables in shady places. There’s a city pool, paddle boats to rent, and miniature golf. For adults there is a full sized golf course. There are also hiking trails.

what a park!

By seattleutahmom |

even in barren December this was beautiful with ducks to feed and beautiful water and wide places to play. definitely worth the drive!

Keep in mind on Mondays the spring fed pool is only one open and if u bring a pet have the vaccination papers to get into pool area. There were 2 slides down so our 8 yr old did the Kidda slide and enjoyed it. Train ride was nice. Area for paddle boats full of grass so we backed out on that one. Overall a nice experience

Beautiful and peaceful

By Angel K |

Landa Park is a great place to sit and take in nature's beauty either solo, with a four legged fur ball, or family and friends.

What a surprise

By imchamal |

We've recently moved into New Braunfels and have only visited Landa Park once and enjoyed our time there. There's a ton of stuff to do for the whole family. We're looking forward to exploring the park and many hiking trails in the future. Also a great place if you just need a little break in the middle of your day. Also this is where the town of New Braunfels was started!

Kids love this park

By Safari626083 |

I take the grand kids here on a regular basis. They love the little train and the play grounds. Landa lake and the Comal river flowing through the park are special.Warning! It gets overcrowded on weekends!

Great park for kids and dog walking

By Sheila W |

We've lived here two years and love this park. Often times we go in the evening when it's cooler. We love walking with the kids and dog all around the park, especially by the water areas. We usually end at the playground and when it gets dark the kids love to see the fireflies!

Very nice park.

By Michele G |

Get out and look for the various starting points for the springs. Great clear water. They have a wading pool too so bring a swimsuit for the kiddo's. The train is only open on the weekends now.

The most beautiful park

By Spary09 |

Landa Park was founded and dedicated by Henry Landa. It's a beautiful old park with lots of history. Picnic tables, playgrounds, covered areas, trains, fishing, pools, shade, TAKE ME NOW. Most notable feature of the park is that it is fed by the natural springs. You can walk to "panther canyon" and see where they come right out of the rock. It's shaded, water is 72 all year round. Some spots you can get in but stay OUT of the restricted areas. They are sensitive and must be respected. You can rent paddle boats which is a blast. There is also a train at the main station fun for all ages. They have a spring fed pool that I highly recommend. It's an experience like no other. Remember to pick up your trash. Yes, you can call to reserve tables for large parties. Great place for an afternoon cookout and bring lawn chairs and find some shade along the bank of the river. Best afternoon you'll ever have. Recommended areas are in back of park busy area in front.

Best park in Comal or Hays County

By Tori V |

This is a beautiful park with many mature trees, shade areas, playgrounds, and water throughout. The train is a must! Sometimes we just go to drive through. Great for little kids and birthday parties

Absolutely beautiful!!

By duckysimons |

Wow, this park is a real treasure! A friend recommended I check it out. There are squirrels that will walk right up to you. I saw paddle boats in a pond nearby. The park is walking friendly and just beautiful!

beautiful

By michaelmZ1994ZK |

its a park like no other, play grounds, paddle boats, ducks, squirrels, tables for bbq or picnics, or just bring a blanket. Lots of shade.

Nice park

By Missgolddolly |

Park is much nicer than most city parks. Huge play ground areas with padded area. Kids loved that it had so many options and playground equipment and was not in pea gravel or wood chips.

Colorful Tubes!

By stoogeg3 |

The river in the park is filled with a plethora of tubes, rafts, paddle boats and families wading in the water. The smell of the grills cooking hamburgers, brats, hot dogs and steak waves throughout the park. It's a great family park to spend the day.

Lovely green, lots of places to picnic

By trymahjong |

We saw deer and most of the tourists that visit new braunfels ---it was crowded on a Sunday. But so lovely and green with ducks and squirrels, calm water quaint bridges.

Vacation

By Tammy P |

We arrived early for Schlitterbahn so we drove around and ran across this wonderful park. We got out and walked around. Would love to go back to enjoy more of it!

The Beauty Spot of Texas

By DRM1954 |

What a wonderful place to take family, especially grandchildren to play and enjoy the outdoors. Riding on the miniature train, paddle boats, playing on the playground or just a leisurely stroll among the historic grand oak trees and the arboretum are part of the great family experience. Landa Park is home to the Comal Springs (Las Fontanas) which is a beautiful example of nature's fountains. All of this and more are waiting for visitors to beautiful Landa Park, heart of the "Beauty Spot of Texas."

a nice way to spend a Sunday

By yrret02 |

bring your camera..lots of bird all around and turtles...be careful I step on a nest of free ants..two weeks later and it still itches

Great hiking! Great bird watching!

By LittlePaint |

A salesperson at a store I wandered into suggested that I stop at Landa Park. I was glad I had some extra time and decided to do so.

I greatly enjoyed the Panther Canyon Nature Trail. It wasn't terribly long, but it was long enough to immerse in the nature and the natural beauty.

Then I decided to wander over to the pond. The variety of waterfowl was surprising. Not something I anticipated, at all. Especially the Moscovey ducks and Egyptian geese. Also the yellow crowned night heron.

I went back early the next morning as the birds were just starting you wake up.

A don't miss attraction.

A couple of words of caution... Some of the roads to get to the park have 11' 8" underpasses. There are ways around, but be observant.

Also, parking is mainly diagonal, head-in and there's no oversized vehicle parking area. If it's not crowded, the parking lot by the kiddie train might have enough parking spaces to park parallel across several.

Kids Delight

By Lou R |

Beautiful park by the banks of the Comal River with a lot of attractions and things to do. Lots of areas and picnic tables and pavilions to have family gathering. Fishing and tubing and a mini train that goes around the entire park. Great way to spend a day outside.

Love this park

By Robin F |

Great park for family, pets, couples. Big park with lots do do. Beautiful water. Picninc tables, train for the kids.

Beautiful park - great for kids, families, or just chilling.

By Sheryle G |

Landa Park is one of the most beautiful parks you will ever find. The river winds through the park and is lined with tall Cypress trees. There is plenty of parking and places for grilling and picnicking. A children's train runs through the park and kids can enjoy feeding the baby ducks and squirrels which are everywhere. There is also a miniature golf place at one of the ends of the park. Very safe and family-friendly place.

My Favorite Place

By P5_Crazy_Train |

This is probably my favorite place in all of Texas. It’s just so beautiful and peaceful (when the crowds aren’t there) and it’s just a small slice of paradise. It’s no wonder the Germans saw this area and decided to stay more than a century ago! This isn’t a touristy kind of place, but more of a hometown, local spot. I just love it here.

Nice day to walk the park

By Brittany |

Pretty cool to see a few Scuba Divers out in the water at Landa Park. There were ducks and squirrels out and about.

Children cannot visit this place enough

By AlexBOtaku |

My daughter, niece, and nephews cannot get enough of this park. The train ride is by far the most popular attraction, however they also enjoy feeding the ducks and geese. It's a beautiful, well kept park to enjoy time with family. Inside the park is plenty of space for barbecuing, a pool, and sand volley ball court.

City park with everything!

By E R L |

Picnic tables, flowing springs, places to play, park-sized train for the kids to ride, golf course...

Huge Park in New Braunfels

By Michael E |

Perfect for family or friends and can accommodate any size gathering. The river runs right through the park. It is so beautiful, and there is so many things to do there.

Nice surprise

By sooners0 |

Went to the park on a day with no activities planned. Was surprisingly busy - and now understand why.... It's a beautiful space with lots of laid back options for hanging out with the family.

Wonderful feeling

By Caroline J |

This park is large, beautiful, serene. It is a place to feel at Peace with yourself and with the world. Lovely, ALIVE waters.

Nice to visit with kids

Nice family park, plenty of activities to keep busy. No charge for the park, there is a small fee for other activities like paddle boats, train ride, etc.

Beautiful Place

By Wes B |

Landa park is a highlight of New Braunfels. Such a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. It's a great spot for a picnic.

Wurstfest!

By packedmule |

This is my second time to attend Wurstfest! It it is a fun, but crowded festival. It was chilly this past weekend, but we we're prepared. There were more seating and tables which was helpful. It is fun to see how everyone dresses up and is enjoying the German food and beer. I would recommend checking it out!

Great place to meander rgrough

By Mel J |

Wonderful and picturesque place to spend some time on a sunny day. Beautiful bridges over the river and walk beside it. And the trees are unbelievable.

Beautiful Park

By Juanito1988 |

Visited for Spring Break 2017, it is a beautiful park with crystal clear water, we rode the mini train around the park which goes all around the park in a figure"8" way. Only wish we could've been there early enough to have been able to ride the pedal boats, we weren't able because we were there on a schedule and there was quite a long wait to be able to get on them. It would have also been fun to go fishing.

What a little Paradise

By SeanandLarue |

I decided to take a quick day trip up to New Braunsfels and take a look around as a possible town for us to relocate as my job has brought me to Texas, I must say I’m glad I did. I stopped in to Landa Park and took a walk around the park is amazing very well kept and clean with amazing Oak trees, wildlife and lots to see playgrounds for kids also wadding pools fed by Natural Springs from Comal Springs, the water is so clear just an amazing little paradise! Great for family picnics and just to relax and have a family outing or to take in the beauty it shares, a must stop they also have a small train that is only $3 a person if you don’t feel like walking and they have a pool area that has a natural spring pool or Olympic size swimming pool to cool off in the summer heat...

Putt putt

By Adventure590269 |

Had a great time at the cute little putt putt course at the park. We played at night, and it was really pretty! Also, it did not break the bank!

Pretty

By Secret Garden Koh Rong |

A pretty place to hang out with very self-confident ducks, geese and squirrels. Check out the source of the springs.

Almost more deer than people

By jljablackwell |

Absolutely beautiful park. This is where the Comal River starts. You can walk right up to the springs and see the water come out of the ground. Great paths and bridges and clear spring water flowing at a brisk speed. Lots of wildlife you are not allowed to feed. Great trees. Nice train ride and paddle boats. Swimming pools and tubing. The website does not due it justice.

Nice Walking

By Dean S |

This is a great place for walking. Paved paths with the Comal River winding through the park. Some elevation changes but nothing severe. Very pleasant scenery

Beautiful City Park

By Janet E |

Great place to go for a walk and check out the springs feeding the Comal, see the ducks/birds, and ride the paddle boats. Great swimming pool, and train ride for the kids on the weekends. Live music some evenings during the summer with dance pad.

Relaxing

By fabisaucedo |

This park is a must stop for families with little children. Easy to park and not too crowded. We went on train ride for $3 each person and you can buy duck food to feed ducks.

Lots to do

By travelfam4045 |

You could spend a day here and not spend too much money. They have updated the mini golf. The aquatic center is something you should go when visiting here.

Stumbled on a gem here! Great stop during our visit!

By 861laylac |

Unplanned stop but the wading pool was cold & refreshing. Beautiful nature. Fun playground. Fun train tour. We encountered a family of deer. What a great park!

Peaceful!

By Scott K |

With deer roaming, water fowl, and the beautiful Comal River what is not to love? Great way to spend a night or a day! Find your way upstream if the shortest longest river in New Braunfels to the Comal Spring!

Beautiful little park

By Sandra S |

This park is located right on the Guadalupe River and is very scenic. Ducks abound. There's a fun little choo-choo train that takes you around the park and back again. There are canoe a paddle boat rentals, a spring fed pool, tennis courts, mini putt-putt, playgrounds and places to bar-b-que. I love this park. During summertime it can be very hot and sometimes crowded.

Great place to hang out with family!

By Plan_1st |

Visited New Braunfels for a long weekend, since it is a short 2 hour drive from where we live. Read reviews about this park, and looked forward to it, but it really is a hidden treasure you have to see. We fed ducks, rode the train, had some lunch, and spent close to an entire hour checking out the small fish and crawdads in the river. My sons LOVED this place -- I wasn't sure they would since they are not LITTLE kids anymore (12 and 9). We hated to leave and we will definitely come back. The only thing we didn't see was a basketball goal, but next time we will be prepared to stay a lot longer, since I would like to walk the entire park. If you are thinking about coming here -- DO IT!! You won't regret it.

Perfect Spot

By santamonica1234 |

Playgrounds are great, there are 3? Different ones, my children had a blast! We spent time after feeding the ducks, and walking around, beautiful park!

Super cute / pretty park

By jillschoenberg |

If you are close stop by for a quick stroll through the area. Very well maintained and peaceful surroundings

Awesome Park

By Michael E |

This is a great park with lots of places to have a picnic and for children of all ages to play. They even have an area where children can swim and an aquatic center that is reasonable in pricing. They have a train that is great for young children. The only problem I have seen is parking. During the busy times the park is packed it will be hard to find a parking spot so if there is a large event going on get there early or you might have to park far away.

Beautiful Park with walking paths, lots of shade and activities

By J L |

This Park will always be special to our family. Our kids grew up playing on the playgrounds, swimming in the pools and spring fed pool, taking walks, concerts in the Park in the summer and lot of parties as kids and the highlight for kids is riding the park train! It is a hidden treasure in New Braunfels in my opinion. My only issue is that as the town grows, the park is becoming more popular and parking is very limited on weekends and holiday's. The city is doing it's best in opening other parks in the area but Landa Park is the original and most beautiful so generations of families have visited it and still visit it year after year. But there is a definite need for additional parking in the summer.

The Comal River runs through this beautiful park that offers train rides ($3), paddle boats, swimming pool, playgrounds, picnic tables, ice cream stand, and free concerts (check park schedule). There was a wonderful breeze & lots of shade on the first day of Summer!

Home Sweet Home!

I love Landa Park. New Braunfels is my home town and I always go to Landa Park to spend the day with family and enjoy fishing around the park.

Shady Grove

By Tom H |

Great place to take the kids a let them run off some energy. Cool shady places to relax and right next to the river. Park and playground are really well kept and beautiful. Can't think of a better way to spend time.

The best park ever

By Lori G |

What a delight this park is! There's tons of people walking dogs, pushing strollers, jogging, etc and yet it's peaceful and there's plenty of space. There's a great hiking trail, a path that goes all around the park and water area, playgrounds, swimming pool, riding train, deer, etc. Do not miss going to this park when in the area. If I lived there, I'd go everyday!

Romantic

By Maine_Girl_25_Years |

I went here and had the best date. We could walk and talk and see all the great view and sites. It was very clean and inviting. This is a place that we will come back to all the time.

Relaxing and Peaceful

By Minlly |

Huge park with plenty of benches and tables. Very abundant wildlife that are not too fearful of people. Enjoyed the nice, quiet atmosphere while listening to the frogs and feeding the ducks.

A beautiful gem of a park in the Texas Hill Country

By Andrew C |

Landa Park, for someone who grew up in New Braunfels, this is the standard against which all other parks will be measured. Full of great, tall cedar trees, the Comal river comes through and is a great compliment to the park. Multiple playgounds and walking/hiking trails mean something for everyone. Special treat if you get to ride the train around the park.

Enjoy a relaxing time in Landa Park!

Fun for the family

By James H |

Tubing the Comal is a fun way to spend half a day when you're in New Braunfels. There are 3 "Chutes" on the river to move things along and provide some excitement. The float is safe for all ages as long as they can swim.

Great Park, Family Friendly

By ThatBigGuy |

My bride did a maternity shoot here for friends of ours. We brought along the Sonbun.

There is plenty of places to hang out, from picnic tables and playgrounds, to butterfly garden benches, to quiet corners near spring fed creeks on green grass.

There will be pockets of people blasting music, and kids on the playground don't quite have the same respect for others as they used to, but you'll always be able to find a quiet corner to get away from the urban life.

Lovely Park

By wat3v3r |

Landa Park was a lovely surprise! Parking was tight in front of the park so we parked by the Landa Recreation Center a couple of blocks away (lots of parking spots there). The view of a flowing river from where we parked led us to the entrance. Walking into the park, there were a lot of picnic tables, benches, and grills. The trees gave enough shade but some brought their own tents. We were really just wandering around enjoying the nice spring weather when we found the paddle boat area. Of course we had to do it! There was about a 30-minute wait, but with the beautiful view and cool air, we did not mind the wait at all. The paddle boat is $3 per person, with a maximum of 4 people per boat (although I saw a couple of boats that had more than 4 when it had little kids in the count.) The "ride" is 30 minutes long although I didn't see anyone have a timer. The river was clear, the ducks were friendly, and if I wasn't scared of what may lie under the river "grass" on the bottom of the river, I probably would've hung my feet off the side of the paddle boat. There was more park to explore but we had to be somewhere at a certain time so we had to leave. We will go back, this time prepared for a picnic and a longer visit!

Visting with my nephews

By Janice S |

My nephews love going to Landa Park because of the wonderful trails and all the wildlife there. We also enjoy walking on the trail going deep into the woods.

Nice park for a walk

By WanderingFool47 |

We visited New Braunfels recently, and had a couple of hours to kill in the afternoon. After doing an online search for area parks, we decided to check out Landa Park. We were glad we did.

This is quite a large park. A trail winds throughout, often running alongside the river there and offering lovely views. Numerous water fowl come close hoping to be fed - we saw some ducks with 5 babies following behind! There's a wading area (the water is quite cold!) and ballfields, and plenty of places for picnics. Very nice, and clean.

Sunday morning

By Dure_tx |

Wonderful family park. Lots to do including walking trails, playground areas, pavilions, wading pools, train rides, lots if ducks, squirrels and deer, swimming pools and more! We spent 3 hrs with a 2 and 5 yr old and only did a small fraction of all the available activities! It's so beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely add this to our list of fun things to do!

One of the best

By Willd1968 |

An absolute wonderful park. Playgrounds, walking trails, picnic areas, wading pool, and an abundance of wildlife.

Good time to watch others

By El1Lobo |

Nice to be able just to sit on a bench and watch tubers or joggers, The park tables require reservations during certain times and could use so updating.

Fun place to walk and watch ducks and ducklings

By Darshan1 |

We went on a weekday and there was ample parking. Walked on some short trails along the water and saw a large number of wood ducks including several mothers with tiny ducklings. Also saw an ibis and some cormorants, so overall it was a nice place to bird watch.

Dreamy Lazy Days

By Rhonda W |

Picture children on swings, a small train that meanders through the trees and streets of the park. Ponds and river streams sparkle with geese and ducks floating aimlessly while the picnics are being consumed by families and lovers. If you are lucky enough to be early enough on 4th of July you can watch the fabulous fireworks display to the sounds of patriotic songs. An Olympic size swimming pool is available, but the river pool is much more fun with its swing over the water. It is what you dream of when you think of days gone by!

Great stop....

By Sarah P |

We decided to check this place out based on TripAdvisor....so glad we did. We road the train around the park. Great afternoon trip with beautiful scenery. It was very busy!!!!!

Fun place!

By BA R |

Plenty to do with kids and families. A great place to have a birthday party or picnic. There are grills and piñata hooks for parties. The pool is also a great attraction to visit.

Nice well kept city park

By Homer W |

Nice one hour walk. Some bird spotting, interesting plants and trees, labeled for identification. Water in lakes and streams is crystal clear, saw some fish. Canyon trail had been closed for some time. There is no welcome center, but the train engineer gave us a nice map. The train ride was OK but cramped seating for adults, and no views that you wouldn't see on a walk.. $25 "Picnic Space" fee is ridiculous. It is in the fine print of rules and handouts. Applies to all non-residents "in season " which is not defined, and it "includes but is not limited to tables, chairs, blankets and/or canopies". The nearby restaurants were closed, but we found a good lunch reasonably priced at the Union Station Diner on San Antonio Street.

Nice family park

By Corpuz |

We actually went there for the train ride for my daughter but we're surprised to see how big the park is. The water is so clear that some kids actually were swimming in some parts of the park. There's also lots of families that do picnics. If you're going to ride the train bring cash, they only accept cash.

Great Walking Place

By jordaneshbaugh |

When I lived in New Braunfels I loved bringing my dog here! So many sights and smells for her. Also there were different paths we could take.

Beautiful park

By Lou Garou |

This is a beautiful park with picand barbecuing facilities next to a river ideal for tubing and scuba diving. The water temp is about 75 degrees Fahrenheit year round . Spring fed and very clear.

Must come back!

By jayares2015 |

I found this park by accident while trying to entertain the kids for a few hours. I wish I had found it sooner in the day because we weren't able to stay long. There's a large pool and playground and someone told me it was only $2 to get in for both. We rode the little train that boards outside of the pool/playground area and travels around the park and pond. The cost is $3/each. The kids - age 9 and 2 1/2 - loved it and I enjoyed watching them enjoy it! Lots of ducks too. All kinds of people picnicking and grilling and celebrating birthdays. What a beautiful partk!

Wonderful Local Park

By TXFROMWI |

Watch out for the deer - lots of deer on local roads and in the park.

Large and well kempt local park. All the water access here is flow through river fed water - very clean and cool. Access to the wading "pool" is free, access to the main pool charges a fee.

We were there in mid-afternoon, the worst time of day for bird watching, but still saw several water species from so close we could ID without binoculars. This may be an excellent birding spot at the right time of day - good mixed habitat and lots of edge.

One negative - locals drive through the main park road MUCH too quickly - watch out!

We recommend and would most certainly would return.

Unique Park

By Susy S |

This is a really unusual park. A must see. They have a train that goes thru the park, you can swim or play in very clear water, there is putt putt many playgrounds and a big lake and swimming pool. I didn't make it there this trip in December but have been there many times and always go back. You never know why kind of animals you may see. There are a lot of deer out there.

Great family spot

By 511elaine |

I have been going here for years. It is a great spot for the whole family. If you go, be sure and ride the train!

Quaint

By 17rbward |

Nice place. 3 playgrounds, depending on the age of the children. Nice little train ride. $3.00 will keep you and the little one(s) occupied for a good 1/2 hour. Nothing special, but, the kids love it. They have a little water park, but, didn't have time to check it out.

Great place for families

By sharonpowellormsby |

Lots of room for parties, playgrounds, trails to walk, run, or hike. Plenty of ducks who like to be fed. Paddle boats available to be rented during the summer. A very clean, beautifully kept up park with lots of trees graced with the normally tranquil Comal River running through it.

Grandchildren outing

By dpbustos56 |

We had our grandchildren and decided to go to Landa Park. Our park is beautiful. We went on a train ride followed by the kids playing on the playground. What I love is that they have play areas for different age groups so everyone had a great time.

Beautiful Park

By msvikki04 |

We spent an afternoon at the park and had a great time. The train ride was adorable and the scenery was gorgeous!

Beautiful City Park

By Tom B |

I love Landa park. It is one of the reasons I moved to New Braunfels. There are 2 swimming pools, one with spring fed Comal River water which is ice cold in the summer heat. There is a train ride available for the kids that runs the perimeter of the park. There is a free wading area for the kiddos, again with ice cold spring water, and bring along some bread to feed the ducks. If you are lucky there will be some Wood Ducks 🦆 which have beautiful coloring. Bring along a piece of chicken and some string and go crawfishing and finally the trees. The founders oak from 1703 is there and tons of mature pecan trees which drop free nuts in the fall. Lots of shade and free concerts every Thursday night in summer and free fireworks on July 4th. See all Landa park has to offer? That's why I love it!

Great family walk

By Marilu S |

This is a great park for the whole family with lots a history. Bring a lunch and enjoy a quiet afternoon. I would recommend to bring extra clothes for young kids because they are able the get in the water.

Winter walk

By diankamac |

We walked in Landa Park in January this year. The weather was great, the park is clean and beautiful.

Crystal clear water

By kay k |

Streams flow from several springs in this well kept park. Lovely walking paths along the water's edge. Deer, ducks, geese, and other birds are abundant. Peaceful spot for a stroll.

Beautiful park

By Debbie N |

This park has the best walking trails, wildlife, fishing, pavilions, and picnic areas! So many trees that provide so much shade! Great place to get some exercise, walk your dog, kids or just sit and enjoy the beauty. Can't say enough about this place!!

The Heart of New Braunfels

By CHAS S |

Landa park is a great place for families. With the fresh spring and clear water the city has just kept improving the experience over the last 32 years since we lived here. The new boardwalk and wading area is great. There is a lot of parking, and the shade trees are beautiful. It is not commercialized like the town has become. Just watch out for the ducks and deer, they may want to eat your picnic.

Get out and enjoy

By Dave B |

Great place to walk around, be by the water, have a picnic, take a train ride, let the kids run and play. Nice playground as well (though we did not use it)

Lovely park - especially during Wurstfest

By Zamigaos |

We got to know this park while attending Wurstfest and if you have never been there for the festival, you must go. It's a 10-day salute to sausage! Tons of food, beer, three stages of polka music, crafts, and all set in the beauty of this wonderful park. The Comal River runs through it with a small RV park on one side. The river area is a great place to sit and enjoy a beer and people watch. But, you must also come when there are no activities going on...it's beautiful with the ducks and deer and just such a lovely setting. Proust!

Beautiful blonde hair and mesquite smoke!

By Pepppertrout |

I had my wedding reception here!

My beautiful TEXAS bride was a beauty queen and it was in this park, in the shadow of the monument to her German pioneers and homesteaders, that we celebrated our marriage supper in July, 1997. Twenty fun, love-filled years ago. Long Live Landa Park! And may the memory of the mesquite smoked chicken we ate remain vivid!

Great park

By Grant |

Great local park with the natural spring. Take off your shoes and step in the water. Or relax playing or renting paddle boats or riding the train.

Quick Trip

By TXAGATOR |

I'm just kidding! It is wonderful and being the good german town, we love to share, Oh! just kidding again! Seriously, if you have youngsters, they will love the train!

Huge park

By Brown skinned family |

The park is huge plan for a day family picnic. There are several bench table bbq pits, the paddle boats and train only Accepts CASH like $3 per person per attraction. Several Playgrounds for the kids. Hiking trails and historic stopping points. I even saw some wading lakes.

love the park! however, most amenities offered were closed. This is the 4th of July, mind u.

By tresh72 |

My family and I decided last minute to visit this park. We found a pretty good spot, access to everything, however, most if these areas were closed! It was hard to explain to my 6 year old you can't get in the water!!. Upon leaving home I decided instead of cooking on the grill provided at the park I would bring the tiny one I use only for the Beach. I was told by the park ranger that I was not to use it in the property. That was fine, Thank goodness we packed fruit and other snacks. About an hour later another ranger approached my family and said even though we weren't using the small grill, it could not be in site... mind you we parked over a half mile away... Ok so we decided to leave. My wife walked the half mile to retrieve our vehicle, simply because our grill could not be present. I offered to simply cover it with a towel. Wasn't good enough!!! WOW

Lands Park

By joe e |

Going to Lands Park brings back memories of the time that I went there as a kid

The close proximity to Canyon Lake is also a plus even in the wintertime

Don’t forget to go to Stinky Fall which is what we called the river portion where we would float down the river in the summer time

Beautiful park with lots of nature views

By Kelly B |

This park was so amazing ! I took my grand daughters there to feed the ducks tho we ending up feeding the squirrels too. We actually had a squirrel nearly eating right out of our bag of granola . This park has beautiful spots for photo taking , playgrounds, and we even seen deer feeding in the park. All in all this was one of the best parks we have been to in years !

A beautiful park worth the visit!

By JDL |

Landa Park is a wonderful gem located in New Braunfels, Texas. It is great for families with kids of all ages. My wife and I took five nieces to play Putt-Putt golf there and it was loads of fun. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, they were only accepting credit cards as payment. However, we were only prepared to pay cash. Upon hearing this, the cashier said we could play for free, so that we didn't have to make the trek back to the car to retrieve the credit card. Very accommodating. Landa Park also has a miniature train that costs just $3 per person and lasts 10-12 minutes. It meanders throughout the park and along the different waterways and is very relaxing. Lots of ducks, geese, and squirrels to observe. There are numerous playgrounds dotted throughout the park so there is plenty of space to play. The waterway is spring-fed and eventually forms the Comal River, which happens to be the shortest river in Texas. It only flows for three miles before joining the Guadalupe River. This river is also used to fill the swimming area making it a spring-fed pool. There are slides and paddle boats available. Also on premises is a regular swimming pool and an 18-hole golf course. You can't go wrong by visiting here!

Love this place.

By Jeff P |

We go here regularly. The food is fantastic and the service has been very satisfying. It's nestled in a nice quiet part of Gruene and close walk to Gruene Hall. I have never had a meal that I was not pleased with here.

Great park in the city

By Robert M |

One of the most awesome parks within New Braunfels. Lots of things to do and always feel safe. The trails are nice and viewing the birds & wildlife is always enjoyable. They have a train that runs thru it that the kids and young parents love. Also a pretty nice pool and water feature. Definitely a place to come and have a picnic. I often bring a lunch here to enjoy it.

Beautiful park

By Danyalle S |

This is one of the best parks we have ever been to. Plenty to do and see. The train ride was a hit with the kids and we saw deer just laying around on our ride. There is plenty of shade and restrooms around the park and the playground is amazing. There were multiple play areas and two swing areas. There are grills and picnic tables or benches all around. Great place to visit.

Along Comal River

By ConnieSue |

Beautiful park that has lots of activities. Train ride around the park , walking, biking ( paddle boats when opened ) plenty of ducks, baby ducks, birds an ice cream place . Huge park , beautiful 300 year old tree that they had to build brick support to keep the branches up. They have a huge swimming pool, playgrounds, and lots of sand volleyball courts. I would go back with a picnic lunch and spend the day .

Great 4th of July

By Ron M |

My two kids and I decided to do something a little different for the 4th of July and I suggested going up to New Braunfels for lunch and a fireworks display. We got to the park a few hours early. As we sat in the parking lot, it started getting more full and a constant flow of people headed onto the golf course. We decided to head onto the golf course and were delighted with the large, open areas set aside for viewing the fireworks. We set up our chairs on one of the fairways and set out to enjoy the evening. There were kids and families all around, playing games and just enjoying themselves on a nice, breezy evening. The time passed quickly and soon it was time for the fireworks to begin. There was a small glitch in the beginning, but turned out to be a very nice show in a great location. I can see returning again to enjoy the these festivities. Those who run the golf course at Landa Park were very generous to offer their area for viewing. Beautiful grounds for a great event.

Great

By Sheila D |

Very relaxing and enjoyable place to visit. Very well maintained. Loved seeing the wildlife on the golf couse.

Toobing

By Trixie S |

Many places to rent a toob also comes with a shuttle to get you back however you must pat again to float the river each time. It gets really crowded near the shoots I would recommend small kids and people who are not strong swimmers to have a life jacket water currents at the end of the shoot are super strong and toob may flip takes about 45 to a hour and half depending on how many people are there to get through it all the park has many areas to cook out or just bask in the sun

Always Beautiful

By jeamon |

This is one of the best parks I've been to in the world. It has plenty of seating, places to get in the water, pedal boats, a swimming pool, a tiny train for kids, playgrounds, a hiking canyon, and many, many beautiful trees.

Park

By gloriamarvin |

Beautiful with all the wild life, ponds, meandering river and plant life. We went daily to walk and drink in the beauty.

Beautiful park. Love to visit and watch the birds around the water.

By marilynjburton |

Founders' Oak is one of the reason to visit this park. Enormous tree with historical significance. The water running in and around the park is crystal clear and boasts several varies of ducks and geese as well as other water fowl. Beautiful landscapes so bring your camera. The park has several play areas with soft "child-proof" surfaces to walk on. The play areas have swings, slides, rock walls, and several more outdoor play features. There are signs to help you with the appropriate age for each one, but I think they were being overly cautious when assigning the age ranges. There is a train ride that you can take which takes you around the park. Suitable for children and adults. Loads of parking at several places throughout the park. There is a snack bar area by the train station too. Restrooms are also available. In the summer, you can rent paddle boats which makes the park fun for all ages, including teen-agers.

Playtime

By jaimewinchester1 |

What a great park to take the kids. Very safe and well landscaped. There are lots of options. You can ride the train, take peddle boats out on the lake, feed the ducks, swim in the spring fed pool or the regular pool. This place is great for family picnics.

"DOWN MEMORY LANE"

By judygandy |

We took a side excursion through the park which is built on the pristine Comal River. We had visited this park many times with our 2 year old 36 years ago while living here! The "Founder's Oak Tree" is still there along with the train, and other amenities! Aaaaawwww! SO many memories! Such a BEAUTIFUL PARK and a safe place for families!

Good place to enjoy nature

By ClareScottsdale |

We were visiting from Arizona and though the weather was cool it still was a nice place to visit. We walked around and enjoyed nature! We read about the history of Landa Park and thank you for New Braunfels for offering this lovely park to everyone.

Great park

By Coastal298664 |

Beautiful park and really enjoyed seeing all the animals especially the deer roaming around and the beautiful water.

Great little train, paddleboats and lots of play areas for kids

By Patti M |

Landa Park has a decent amount of shade and fun things to do for the kids to burn off steam. There are paddleboats ($3/person) and train rides ($3/person) and options to feed the ducks. Kids had a blast. You can also go swimming in the chlorine aquatic pool and also swim in the cooler pond that has a slide.

Spring Fed Fun

By haygirl16 |

The water was cold, the swings were a blast, and the slides can't be beat. The entrance price to the aquatic center is inexpensive and a great way to spend the day. I would come here again and again.

Fun for all ages

By cybernova |

This park is one of the more prettiest spring fed parks. The ducks and wildlife add alot for those who enjoy a little nature. The playground is accommodating for all age levels. The picnic areas are many to choose from. The trees in this park provide alot of shade for large groups and family gatherings. During events like 4th of July, wurts fest this park provides room and parking for family to experience their good times. There is also a small train that goes through out the entire park which provides fun for all ages.

A good place to walk

By Marcus J |

Shade-trees, riverside walking paths, and little areas for picnics or gatherings characterize this charming park near the middle of New Braunfels. Only thing to watch out for -- sometimes the local flocks of black-headed vultures mob the trash cans.

Ultimate Relaxation.

Landa Park offers relaxing picnic facilities under the shade of giant, ancient oak trees. Walk or jog on the parks special trails including the William and Dolores Schumann Arboretum tour with over 50 species of trees. Ride a miniature train that chugs around the park along and over the Comal river or take an excursion on a paddle boat rental. You can enjoy a round of miniature golf or relax at the playground. There is not a more special place to enjoy the outdoors on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Wurstfest

By nana1003 |

First weekend. Crowded but not too bad. Bring cash because they don't take cards ( my only real complaint). Lots of music in several different tents. Brats were amazing as was the Potato pancakes sold by Rotary club. Lots of great German stuff for sale. Being down by the river keeps you a lite cooler when it's 85 degrees. Lots of friendly staff around. See how high you can stack your beer cups!!!

Love this park!

By Nancy R |

Whether looking for a swim, fishing, paddle boat rental, train ride or going for a picnic, this is the best park ever. The Comal River runs through park and lots of shade. Tubing is just up the road too.

Beautiful Landa Park

Took my grandchildren today just like I took their parents when they were little, to the best city park in the state. There is so much to see and do here for all ages, train rides, swimming pools, golf, putt putt, playgrounds and walking trails, all in an incredibly beautiful natural setting among the largest natural springs in the state. A must see for any first time visitor.

We rented a pavillion for the day for our crew of 25 people of all ages - near the playground. The playground had levels for all ages from infants to 12 year olds. We went to the wading pool, climbed trees, rode the train, and cooked hot dogs. The ducks, squirrels, and jackdaws kept us entertained. We were going to the pool when it rained - but even the rain was fun. It was a wonderful.

A great park for walks, to relax in, to see concerts

By ilovcavs |

We live close to Landa Park and so enjoy taking our dogs for their walks here. Just a quiet peaceful park, but does fill up quickly as we aren't the only ones in town that loves to come here.

Many wonderful hours spent in this park

By Annetta A |

This park has a little of everything from the children's train, golf course, lake, paddle boats, swimming pool(s) playground equipment, beautiful scenery to the activities that take place such as family/friends/church gatherings to races and picnics. We always enjoyed seeing the fireworks displays on the fourth of July.

Great place for kids

By kotam32 |

We searched for the top things to do with kids in New Braunfels and Landa Park came up. My kids loved the train which was only $3/rider. My daughter loved it so much she went back for another trip. It weaves through the park, highlighting all the areas. We tried to rent the paddle boats but it was an hour wait. There were three separate playground areas for the kids. Plenty of space for my son to start a pick up soccer game. Although we didn’t use them there were several pavilions to rent with grills. There is an aquatic complex that would be great during the summer. One of the pools is even spring fed. It the perfect place for my two kids to get outside and play after being in the car all day.

Nice park for the family

By Lfamily83 |

We were looking for a place to spend some hours before we went to the Stars and Stripes drive-in theatre also in New Braunfels. This is a nicely laid out park. It has a pool, a paddleboat, and lake, a train, and plenty of playgrounds for the kids to play. It must be very popular because it was packed with families and just people celebrating birthdays. As a parent, I am constantly looking for places where we can spend some quality time with the kids and not have them bored off their minds. This place definitely did the job. Kids spent about 4 hours there and did not want to leave.

Lovely

By bjones2585 |

Another TripAdvisor find... We swung by midday and while it was definitely Texas hot, there was plenty of shade and we dipped our feet in the water to cool down. Wish there were some places for adults to swim... We noticed there was a wading pool and train for the kiddos. There were paddle boats too but it was too hot for us.

Seeing the founders tree was really cool and the river was gorgeous to walk along. Facilities on site for restrooms and picnicking will definitely be back when we are in the area. We even caught some rare Pokémon 😊

Great Park

By Neva A |

Nice large park with play areas for kids of all ages, also has a beautiful wading pool area of the natural river around the corner from the play areas.

Excellent park

By Stormy G |

Lots to do! Beware the spring fed portion of park is closed on TUESDAY! We traveled from Houston & that was a bummer. The Park itself is beautiful, large & full of kid friendly playgrounds, train rides, swimming etc. Walk a short way down & there is a fantastic mini golf course. My son loved it so much he wanted to go back the next day. You can bring your own food/drinks & the spring water feels great!

Lovely ponds for ducks, people and a stream flowing by with huge live oak trees .

By BayCity-MichTraveler |

There is much to see and do.. a cooling walk around the ponds with the ancient trees as your umbrella. It is a place where people and nature meet in a friendly atmosphere.. Children and adults enjoy the beauty and cool ponds and streams.. I love it there.

So beautiful!

By Helen V |

Landa Park is a wonderful weekend destination for a picnic or just a lazy day in the sun. There is a swimming pool, children's train, and other attractions that make this a great place to wind down.

I love this park! History, beauty, and fun! Updated and clean. Visit this park anytime you can and hopefully the train is running too. Worth the visit any time if the year!!!

Family fun

By torino7788564 |

This park offers many areas of activity, playfrounds for young children to older children. There are 2 swimming areas one is free and the other is bigger for some cooling down. The train ride is a great experience for young and old, it goes through the whole park. Plenty of shade and picnic areas, the single areas are free and the bigger areas can be rented. Overall it is a great place to hang out with family.

Don’t dare let your feet touch the water

By lhcritter1974 |

On a hot July day I was walking my dog and sat down by the creek and let my feet cool off and cool down before continuing. I then took my hand and put cool water on my shoulders and was about to get up when some young worker told me I couldn’t touch the water. You’re telling me I can’t put my feet in the water? No you can’t she said. I got up and left and never going back. At 64 I have cooled my feet in many creeks so I will find a nice place I can.

What a beautiful park, best in mid Texas.

By Thomas W |

Went walking around the park. Last time We were there was over 10 years ago. What an improvement. And, they are making sure it stays that way by providing paths so people do not have to trample the vegetation.

Great for all ages

By Ginger J |

This park is a great place for all ages! We had a family reunion there which had room for all of us easily, plus there are different playgrounds and walking paths. A beautiful place to visit. You won't be disappointed.

Nice park

By Katie T |

We’re not from the area, but we needed something to do with the kids. My sister in law recommended Landa Park. It was a warm afternoon so we headed there. The kids had fun in the natural springs area. My son probably liked it the most, trying to catch the minnows. We didn’t do much of anything else, but it looked like a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Love

By Kaila Bohannon |

Love, love, love this place. As a resident, I enjoy coming here frequently in the evenings and taking a nice stroll with the ducks.

Great park in centre of New Braunfels

By TABristolUK |

Wow wish we had parks like this in the UK so many aspects to it from a little train (though this was closed in the winter) lakes, ponds, lots of BBQ areas, access to the Panther canyon trail and of course the all important river access. You can walk or drive on to the connected Prince Sols park which offers tubing options down on the river.

Wonderful location for a walk and small hiking trail.

By KrystynaJab |

This place is great for a day out with the family. You can spend hours there. The little train takes you for a quick ride around Landa Park. It is such a beautiful place,Comal Springs that runs thru the park, and you can feed the ducks'

Perfect way to stretch your legs and see a little local life between SAT and AUstin.

By Alicedc |

Perfect stop on the drive between San Antonio and Austin. On a recent trip we stopped to get in some steps and fresh air. I randomly picked this park which led to a delightful walk, adorable mini train ride, beautiful arboretum and some local historical info. Met some nice people who encouraged a visit to
New Braunfels and Gruene both of which were great.

Great place for photography!

By Tamandra M |

This is my absolute favorite location for my photography sessions! I can let my children play on the awesome playgrounds while doing my work. The whole park is just beautiful! There's, fishing, swimming, playgrounds, train rides, wild life, pavillions, basketball court, etc.... Everything you need for a great day out with the family...minus the picnic 😊

Great Local Park

By Brandon B |

Landa Park is unique in that it has hiking trails, the headwaters of the Comal River, a swimming area, train, and mini golf for a small fee, and lots of trees and wildlife. I counted 30 deer one night right at dusk, just hanging around the park!

This is a great place for Wurstfest festival. We’ve gone every year for several years. Sometimes we’ve had small children with us. There’s a little bit for all ages. Lots of fun and great food and drink.

Went to see the birds.

By Susan G |

This park is on the TX birding maps and we weren't disappointed. Saw wood ducks. Went to this park a few years ago too in the spring time. Great place for families to see nature and let the kids explore.

Love this Park. Everything you can possibly want is here
Playsets, walking path, Pavillions, bar b q puts, swimming, fishing and a fun little train to ride!
Beautiful huge Park! A must go and enjoy!

Gorgeous park for walking, relaxing, & enjoying the beautiful Comal River!

By Dawn N |

This is a great park on the gorgeous Comal River - which is a short, narrow river, but a gorgeous blue color with beautiful trees that is a scenic backdrop for a lovely walk. Bring your walking shoes and set off on a nice walk, or throw a frisbee on the grass, walk your dog, fly a kite - there is plenty of room here! You can even see the slides of Schlitterbahn across the fields as it is only a few feet away. Some of the prettiest trees are located in this park with so many squirrels and geese, you could spend all day just watching them play. Very peaceful and relaxing place.

Visitor Beware

By Keely H |

This park was selected as a more accessible location between Houston, San Antonio & Austin. Our family decided to meet there to share Easter. Imagine our great surprises when we were approached by park rangers asking us for a “$25.00 picnic table fee”. At first I thought we were being scammed, but alas, after requesting to see I’d, it was for real. If there were signs, no one in our group saw them. Never in my life have I had this experience, pay when you enter a park, yes. But, never approached after getting settled. Visitor beware!!

great fun

By Leslie M |

Landa park is a great family place. The water is freezing and amazing all at the same time. Take lots of water! and sunscreen!!! A great place to visit and enjoy with the entire family

Fun and relax trip

By Stephanie |

We came in the Christmas time, Park was clean and quiet, maybe cold so not too much people. Walk along the river, it’s a nice walk. It was a fun trip, only sad thing is the train station and the boat closed. So will come back the take a boat trip in spring.

By Marilyn D |

Nice park to visit, very relaxing place. We just sat and watched the water and fish, turtles, and ducks

A Cheap Visit and Fun!

By RICHRT |

This place will bring back your childhood if you just get in there and play! Very inexpensive and a "just plain enjoyable place". I have pics to prove it too! The cost is cheap, $3 for paddle boating for 30 minutes and $3 for a train ride.

Great playgrounds

By kellzforealz |

I like to walk around this park often. Lots of shady paths and different playgrounds for the kids. Tons of picnic tables and parking spots. Not an easy sidewalk to run on (in my opinion) because it’s but great for power walks. There are also bathrooms located throughout the park which is a must. During the summer, bring cash (yes cash only) because they have paddle boating available and a little train ride that takes you all around the park.

Nice family park

By Nebali |

Large shady park good for families, particularly families with small children. Multiple playgrounds providing for a good variety for little children. Plenty of room to throw a frisbee or football around depending on the size of the crowds and plenty of tables for picnic lunches. Coming during the weekday is probably best if you want to avoid crowds. There is lovely train that runs the perimeter of the park. ($3 per person). If you kids like the water, there is a shallow wading area and the Landa Park Aquatic complex. You can also rent paddle boats. There are a good number of ducks that are often present at the park if you want to bring bread to feed them. If you like to hike there is a decent hiking trail along Panther canyon but it is not very long. A small mini golf park is nearby. You want to bring your own food and drinks - there is a limited variety of snacks and drinks at the Train concession but not very many places in the immediate vicinities to buy food. Bathroom facilities are adequate. Overall, a wonderful park with lots of variety!

Nice

By Jayme K |

Stopped here for a pic is while day-tripping around Canyon Lake. The park is large and offers several attraction for families. The resident ducks leave lots of reminders around so beware of that.
Enjoyable, shady place on the Comal River.

Landa Park

By Stephen B |

I live above Landa Park. Great place for all ages. Walking path and a wading pool for the kids. Also a playground. Lots of water fowl of all kinds. White tail deer around in the morning and evening. They like to be fed and are not to timid if you are patient. Barbecue grills and picnic tables available. Very popular and busy on the weekends.

Landa park

By Sabrina S |

One of our family's favorite places to walk around in. The scenery and wildlife are excellent. It's such a relaxing and fun place to visit.

Kids loved the train

By YupWeAteThere |

We went for the train ride and found much more. Nice ride around the park to see the grounds. Playground areas were also nice and well maintained.

Great park to take visitors!

By danmurphy90 |

This park is the best maintained park anywhere. We live in San Antonio and always take out of town visitors there because it is a great place to see deer up close and personal as well as nice safe place to walk.

Family outing

By Shar49 |

Need to get away from house? This is a wonderful outdoors location. Lot of birds to watch and slow river running through it. Very quite and friendly folks walking around the river bank.

My family grew up at Landa Park

By Rachael B |

Landa Park has and will always be an amazing place to enjoy the outdoors and wildlife. My kids are all grown up now but we still enjoy taking strolls through this beautiful park. Lots of ducks, geese, squirrels, fishing, shade, picnic areas, etc. The train is also a must for all ages.

So much to do!

By DWD |

We started the morning at the mini golf course in the shade of the gorgeous oak and pecan trees. Rode the train around the park, then hiked the 2.4 mile trail in Panther Canyon(easy trail). The spring feed pool was fun for the whole family. Exhausted after a full day. Most activities are only $3/person. Lots of picnic tables to have lunch. Can’t ask for a better day!

Landa Park... Great place to enjoy time with family and friends!

By mrzambr |

Landa Park in New Braunfels has an enjoyment for those who enjoy the outdoors. Just to name a few things... enjoy a ride on the train throughout the park, paddle boat, kid's play ground, volleyball, enjoy a workout with either walking or running through the cemented ground through out the park, minture golf, and watching either duck's or deer that roam around freely!

An affordable outing

By Ellena A |

My kids are 4.5 years old and 7 years old, both active boys. I don't feel comfortable bringing them to toob the Comal yet! I want them to be strong enough to swim in the river and after the rapids it gets a little boring for me😂

First you will want to bring a cooler with water, snacks and food! The train is $3 per person but the cashier only accepts cash. They sale snacks and duck food too, all reasonable priced.

We took the train first, which will help you plan your stay at the park. It's like taking tour of the park!

We parked out car at the train station and walked up the path to the comal springs wading pool for kids. Bring river or water shoes because there are rocks at the bottom of the wading pool. The water is clean, clear and very cold! The water is about 68 degrees in temperature and about 3 feet deep. Bring floats and other water toys.

At the park, there's the paddle boats which are reasonably priced. There's the aquatic center where you can swim in another spring or use the pool. It's $4 for adults, I forgot the price for the kids. You can take a cooler in but they don't allow the cheap arm floats. We didn't get to do this activity because we were at the wading pool. We are saving this for next time.

There are jungle gyms and swings on the other side of the park. Every activity in the park is spread out, so be prepared to walk or you can drive your car and look for parking.

We will definitely return to this park! It was worth the drive from Houston!

Wonderful park

By Jmboze1 |

This park has big, beautiful shade trees, great playground for the kids with protective matting so they don't get hurt if they fall. There is also a pond for little paddle boat rides, and lots of ducks in the pond. A huge swimming pool, a sand volleyball court, and best of all, a little train that you can ride around the park in for a few dollars. They have really cleaned the water portion of the park. My grandson begs to go here every day. You can also rent space for birthday parties. Nice and clean. Family friendly.

BEWARE! THEY WILL TICKET YOU EVEN IF YOU HAVE A HANDICAP PLACARD!

By Dr M |

This is the first place we've ever been IN THE WORLD where they will ticket you even though you have a handicap placard displayed on your vehicle while parked (even for a short period of time) at a city-owned metered parking space. The fine is almost $70. This is ridiculous, and I don't even know how this is legal. Could this be a possible violation of the ADA as well? I hope some legal authorities look into this SCAM.

Interesting park

By Jeanette K |

Nice walking path alomg Comal River - interesting springs in limestone at entrance to river. Abundance of ducks, geese and friendly squirrels. The arboretum with labelled trees was excellent. Enjoyed seeing large, old oak tree.

Watch for Ducks...

By BayPro44 |

In this park the ducks rule and they have the right of way. Been going to this park for 40 years, great setting and atmosphere.

Beautiful park

By Danitexan |

We love visiting the park but bring cash for the train and the paddle boats. It is a busy park but beautiful.

A great place to walk the trails

By John C |

We were heading back to Gruene Mansion Inn after dinner at the Alpine Haus Restaurant and decided to stop for a walk. The springs were beautiful and the park was full of families have fun together.

Great park with lots to do!

By Amy W |

We love Landa Park! There are several playgrounds for kids to play on, there is a wading pool area that's free, and you can fish, ride paddle boats (for $3 a person), picnic, use the aquatic center (with a small admission fee), and my boys' favorite- ride the train for $3 each. My only complaints are that bathrooms are not always clean, and they only take cash for the train. But it's definitely a fun place to take the family without spending a ton of money!

Spring is clear and so so clean

By annielina |

Quiet place for deer to run around and nice peaceful hike, friendly staff and clean facility. No issues for parking

Some quiet, some family area, and near Schlitterbahn

By Rob19321 |

Very cool if you like natural springs... but they watch closely and you aren't allowed to even dip your toes in.

We got caught.

Awesome Park!

By kyraconor13 |

This park is huge! A must do if you have children (or if you're a kid at heart). They have a train that goes from one end of the park to the other end ($3), then some awesome trails. The Panther Trail was an easy hike and so peaceful!

By LoneStarrGirl |

Beautiful park and the train ride was short but sweet. Deer hanging around people. Picnic area, very nice scenic park.

Great place to swim except for no decent food on the premises

By Grace-filled Patriot |

We love the slides, rope swings and kids area, but why no food (other than unreliable vending machines?

Wonderful Landa Park!

By bharkins814 |

I have taken my grandson there as well as my own two sons and nephew when they were little. So, so many wonderful memories! One of the best city parks in the state (The BEST in my opinion.), and maybe the country. Although the park now has a charge for parking, the park is still free except for rides, food, and the pool. It is clean and bright and light, but shady in many places, and fun. Lots of ducks and the river runs through the park, and there is abundant free of charge playground equipment and soft-landing pads. You can reserve a pavilion or a table for family events or kids' b'day parties. And the train is the best part of the whole park! Just love it!! For many decades, it had the same conductor, with lots of memories to share. There is food to purchase and there are clean restrooms and friendly staff. TWO swimming pools: One is a regular large pool and the other is a huge spring-fed pool. (That means COLD but refreshing on a hot summer day!) The park has a free fire-works display on Independence Day as well. This park is also a wonderful place to walk and get exercise in pretty weather. Can you fish in the river?? Hmm, not sure what the current rule is on that: You'd have to ask the park security. Have fun at the park!!

A must visit place - Comal springs and Landa Park

By CrankyOldGuy |

I first visited the springs here about 45 years ago. The cold clear water still runs in the thousands of gallons per minute. We normally have visited during the months when school kids are in school and the park is quite peaceful. On the weekends when school is out it is very crowded. We prefer the more peaceful times for our visits.
Make sure you bring your young children. There is a wading pool of cold spring water that is very shallow and not swift. The children love it.
Besides the springs, there are other things to do and see as well.
Over the years I have read some about the history of the springs and the park. If you have time to read about the history of Comal Springs before your visit you will end up thinking about what a resource this spring was to the Indians and explorers who first used it. And it still runs cold and clear today.

Oh Deer!

By Moved2Texas |

We visited Landa Park at dusk and I saw a different park than the one I had seen previously. There were deer everywhere!
Does, bucks and even fawns mingled with people out for an evening walk or packing up from a long day picnicking at the park. The setting sun cast long shadows over the grass and the spring water flows, organized into a liquid strip called the Comal River. It was a beautiful moment at a wonderful park.

Summertime!

By Mefleet |

Every family should visit Landa Park while in New Braunfels. The wading pool, Olympic size swimming pool and the clear spring fed pool offer hours of fun for every member of your family. Shade trees and picnic tables, a child's train ride, ducks, paddle boats...it's all there for an afternoon of summer fun!

Wonderful place to spend the day!

By Steffenserves |

Really nice park. It is obvious that the city puts a lot of time and money into their park. Highly recommend!

You've got to see Landa Park.

By Becky B |

Landa Park is beautiful, interesting & a great place to take your family. Be sure to take bread to feed the ducks!

Wonderful Park

By Janet K |

We visited Landa Park on Thursday and had a wonderful time. The river/lake is beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained. This would be a great place for a picnic. We also hiked the Panther Canyon Trail. This is a short, easy hike that is worth the trip. Wear sturdy shoes because it is rocky in a few places.

Awesome family park

By Sara P |

Play areas for young kids, interesting history, live music on the dance pad, a great trail to hike, swimming areas, picnic tables, grills and areas to reserve for birthdays. There's really not more you could want in a fun, neighborhood park for the family.

I remember coming here as a child to hear live music with my father on the dance pad, and catching crawfish with my brother. I had my high school graduation party under one of the pavilions 13 year ago, now that I'm back in the area my kids love playing with friends on any of the 3 playscapes. Things can get a little crazy when there are a lot of large parties going on, or just a lot of older kids, but mostly it's a good time.

very clean park

By vickiepingo |

Very clean and well kept up park. There are areas for kids to play and areas that did not have many kids. Ducks and deer everywhere.

Favorite Park in the world!

By Bill Braun |

When we lived in New Braunfels, we often visited Landa Park because it is so beautiful! The water just comes right out of the rocks. When visiting in March, Landa was at the top of our list of places to go.

Nature blended with crystal clear springs

By Helmer A |

It’s hard to find the nature blend of this park anywhere. The combination of the clear waters of the springs, the colors of the underwater gardens ,old cypresses , giant oak trees , ducks ,gueese, squirrels . Makes Landa a unique jewel.

Nice weekday thing to get out of the house

By SuziVonnQ |

Needed to get out of the house with the hubby & 3 year old that were driving me nuts!!! lol 😁We all needed some fresh air & a small front came through that made this darn Texas humidity go away!!
Explored around to areas that my spouse had never been to before even though he grew up here. They are constantly working on the park with improvements such as planting more tress to help with erosion (that day) or keeping up with pedestrian walkways & such. This park has a big feel to it since there are so many different options to do or see. This photos are from the north part where the Comal Springs headwaters are and Landa lake.

Great park with paved walking trails (Panther Canyon with great hiking trails through wooded areas is here as well). Paddle boats are available during the season, take a train ride through the park, fish in the lake, stroll along the Comal river or go play putt putt. Lots and of play areas for the kiddos and plenty of areas for an afternoon picnic or bbq.

A must-see in New Braunfels

By Paula L |

This park is beautiful and relaxing, even if you just want to sit on a bench and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the park and the Comal River. But there's much more to enjoy - great playgrounds for the kids, an adorable train that winds through the park, paddle boats, a spring fed pool, as well as historical Founder's Oak tree and the largest springs in Texas. Bring a picnic, spend the day. A must-see in New Braunfels!

Cannot express my love for this natural wonder. Please read the historical markers when visiting the park and see the fresh crystal clear water trickling out of the spring. There are perfect little wading pools to swim for the littles. Please protect and respect this beautiful place by not littering and being kind to wildlife. Pack a picnic and enjoy the beauty.

Nature lover's must see

By carrot9936 |

Beautiful park. Crystal clear water & there is a small area you can swim in. Lots of ducks & wildlife to feed. There is a train you can ride for $3.00 that goes around the park. You can buy duck feed for a $1 a bag there. The ride is about 15 mins. Be sure to go to the Founders Tree. It's amazing with a trunk over 17' wide.

Great fun for the whole family.

Very clean, bathrooms available, train ride is sweet. Bring the family for a day of relaxing fun in the shady park! Take a hike, dip yourself in the shallow cool water, or just play together in beautiful New Braunfels park! Plus it's all free! (Except the train)

Beautiful Area for a Walk

By Ron L |

Great area for a walk. Deer wondering around park. Clear lake. It is a large park. We only had the opportunity to see part of area.

Beautiful Park at the Headwaters of the Comal River

By Cazzintexas |

This park has so many different personalities, there is something for everyone. There is plenty of recreation for the kiddos - paddle boats, miniature train, mini-golf, swings and slides, a wading pool...and more! The park is focusing on the environment and discourages impacting the pristine and clean waters of the Comal river. The arboretum has signs up to help you determine what type of plant species and animal life are currently present. The headwaters of the Comal are a great place to catch the crystal clear and clean water as it bubbles up from the ground. The ducks and geese are a source of entertainment as are the red squirrels and deer who also frequent the park.
There are numerous picnic tables all over the property so it is a great place to go to enjoy!
.

With in laws in town, we decided to drive around and show them this gem.....quiet, clean, and fun! Wading pool and park were fun. Patrol officers in area made us feel safer even though we already did.

Great park in NB/TX

By DiamondDoug44 |

This is a great park with a massive tree canopy.

We saw deer roaming the golf course.

They have a train for the little kids and the awesome Comal River runs straight through this park.

Beautiful park

The park is very large! There is a playscape area, beautiful trees, large open areas, Comal River running through it, covered picnic areas, just a great park! Nice place to take the kids or go for a nice walk.

Landa Park in New Braunfels

By Rebecca R |

Landa Park is located in New Braunfels, on the edge of the Texas Hill Country. The crystal clear Comal River runs through the 51-acre Park, and is home to many types of water fowl, including ducks and geese. Shaded by ancient live oak trees, Landa Park features walking paths, a golf course, a putt-putt course and a miniature train that will thrill any child. You will likely see deer hanging about the park, but please don’t feed them or the water fowl. It is against the local laws. Landa Park also features an arboretum, with lovely trees and plants coloring the site. You can walk, jog, splash in the wading pool, ride the train or just visit with friends. Dogs are welcome, on leash.

Feeding the ducks is so relaxing

Sitting by the water, watching the water and the ducks is so relaxing. Looking for a quiet spot try by the gazebo, it's real peaceful and quiet.

Camping on the San Marcos

By sherylmock |

This is a nice little Rv camp. We camped right on the lovely San Marco river. The river is a beautiful crystal blue, and you can see fish swimming in the bottom. There is a train nearby, and I thought that was going to keep me from getting rest, but it did not!!

This park is centrally located in New Braunfels, easy to drive through and very well kept. The trees along the river are beautiful and the ducks and geese help make this a lovely scene

Great place for a walk and to people watch.

This is a beautiful park. Great background for family photos, too. Only 30 minutes from Downtown SA. Must check out this park for the whole family or romantic date. We have been here several times over the years, we love it so much.

Always a pleasant stop even in the heat of Summer

By CaptainSPI |

This is a popular park for the locals and for visitors. This park has it all, huge oak trees, springs, boats, a train ride, mini-golf, picnic areas and lots of waterways and walk ways. I especially enjoy walking along the source of all the springs that feed into the Comal river. The water is glacier-stream clear and able to wash away the stress of the day. Towards evening, the deer are everywhere, so drive carefully and enjoy the scenery. Make time for a visit here when in New Braunfels!

Historic and Family Friendly

Landa Park has long been a favorite of our family. It has been upgraded in recent years with better walking paths and signage. The crystal clear spring gushing out of the hillside is just amazing. Follow the beautiful water as it winds through the park into a small lake and wonderful natural swimming pool. A must see for families. Take the little train ride through the park too.

Nice Little Park.
