We loved this stadium. We attended a Colt's game. If you go be aware of the new security measures in reference to purses, etc. It was well staffed, great service, safe and clean and bright.

By CRMays |

We visit Lucas Oil Stadium a lot during the year because we attend and enjoy going to events. We are always pleased at Lucas Oil Stadium. When the weather permits and the retractable roof can be opened, it is really amazing. We were last the for the Big 10 game and had a great time.

By Penny M |

Pretty cool stadium from the moment you get in. Clean and easy to navigate around. We sat in Section 410 and even though we were the away team the fans were friendly .
They had a lot of activities happening in and around the stadium before the game. Enjoyed the dome stadium. Buffalo is outside and when it’s snowing cold and windy you wish you were inside.

By hhsup |

Attended a game at Lucas Oil Stadium and can say without hesitation that this is one of the nicest football facilities I’ve been to. The staff is very friendly, and the food is great with nice choices.
In addition, the restrooms are clean and convenient...a big plus. Can definitely recommend that you get to Lucas Oil Stadium whenever you get a chance.

By rwurbina |

The stadium is very modern. I found super convenient the stadium is downtown and close to a lot of hotels

By Irvin A |

Parking directions were vague and ticket information was non existent when you drove by. We went to the souvenir store first and were directed to a ticket window outside at the other end of the stadium. After purchasing our tickets we were directed back to the souvenir store for entry. The tour was exceptional and the guide was knowledgeable and informative. We were guided to every place a tourist would want to see. Offering tickets at the souvenir stand and better parking directions would benefit your guests greatly.

I've been to concerts & Colts games at Lucas Oil and it's just a great stadium. Restrooms are easy to find, variety of food & drink options (though over-priced), seats could be more spacious, but it is a stadium. Love that the roof can be opened during nicer weather or closed for inclement weather. And the big window is really a nice touch.

By James S |

Was here for the Big 10 football playoff. The stadium is easily accessible, clean and has comfortable seating. It seems like the viewing would be great from anywhere in the stadium.

My husband is a Colts fan and I surprised him with tickets for us to watch the Raiders vs Colts game. Nothing but great things to say. Everyone on the staff was approachable, friendly and helpful. This was our first NFL experience and the staff helped to make it a memorable one. All areas were well maintained and CLEAN!!! We are already making plans to come back next season.

By hctravelers |

It’s great to have a stadium with a retractable roof, so you can use come rain or shine. Easy to find seats. Vendors selling food and drinks inside, but it is expensive. You will need cash at most places. Centrally located in downtown Indianapolis with a ton of parking close by. Restaurants and hotels are within walking distance.

By sabrinad652 |

We visit for Band competitions but all is well. Staff on outside seem a bit nonchalant but hopefully they are better for NFL events. Overall nice stadium and field is great for marching bands. It's in walking distance of a ton of hotels, so I would avoid wasting time on parking. Take an uber or walk.

If you have the time, take the behind the scenes tour of this stadium. You don’t have to be a Colts fan, because this tour would interest anyone..learn about how the stadium was built, see Peyton Manning’s statue, visit the locker room, go on the field...this is well worth the price of admission. Easy parking too.

By ParTcake |

We lived in Indianapolis when the Colts arrived and attended many games at the old stadium. Lucas Stadium looks so huge from the street side and we wanted to see the inside. When you attend games you are fighting the crowds so you cannot apreciate the stadium's finer points. The tour takes you from top to bottom and the locker room.
Seeing the mechanics up close is super.

Sat in the visitors side cir rounded by Indy fans to watch a game. What a great view and enjoyed the hospitality of all around us. Bathrooms are clean and close and facilities are nearby for whatever you need. Go here to watch a game whether you are a Colt fan or not.

By earth2joel |

Nice spacious boxes, 3 TVs to keep up on the other games. We had the Colts game for the people eating on one, the Red Zone on another, and a separate game on the third for the out of towners. The staff is courteous and friendly. The food was better than expected for a catered suite. Our host opted for the top shelf liquor, much appreciated. They even had a masseuse offering a shoulder and neck, chair massage. After the 2 hour drive to the stadium, it was fantastic. Really well run operation combined with Hoosier hospitality. If you get the chance, do go.

Yes this is the home of the Indianapolis Colts that I'm having a too good of a season right now but this place is amazing some of the artwork the size the people is very well put together

By go4fans |

The stadium is very cool. Live bands played in 2 different area. The corridors are roomy and a lot of fun things to look at. However, the food is not very interesting. They have one booth we felt was above average and a must eat- there was home made pretzels. AMAZING! This was a preseason football game so I can’t say the game was the best but fun to see the season about to start.

By Becky P |

We went to the stadium to watch the Bengals Colts game. The staff were phenomenal!! We loved every floor it was very clean and food was great. Our team pulled off the win sorry Colts you played a great game and the stadium is spectacular!!

By kimberly k |

It fits well with the other architecture in the area. Hotels are directly across the street and parking lots ample.

By KurtSchulte |

My wife and I visited the stadium for the Big 10 Championship. It was overwhelming at first and was one of the best stadiums I have ever been at.

There are great restaurants and plenty of beverage stands!

By Mark |

The stadium is just a half-mile or so off of downtown so if you visit, it is easily walkable and worth seeing. It was off-season when we went, but we were able to walk around the building and see the sites. There are a lot of homeless people nearby, but we did not feel unsafe walking around during the day.

By JL2z |

A little difficult finding where you get the tickets for the tour. Then you walk to the opposite end of the stadium to start the tour. The roof was open on a very nice day so great pictures. From the Colts locker room up to the press box and on the field. Very informative guide.

By tlreimer |

We were here last Saturday for the motocross race. Parking is a bit tricky but we did find a place. 20$ was about the cheapest to park. Facility was really nice and easy access or food, vendors, bathrooms, etc.

By refworm |

We absolutely loved attending BOA here at Lucas Oil Stadium. The facility was very clean and efficiently run. The crowds were huge but the Lucas Oil staff handled everything very well and things went off without a hitch.

By Itzme1129 |

I honestly think there isn't a bad seat in the house! Just a beautiful facility in walking distance to hotels and convention center. Big screens, lighting, seating....all incredible. Lots to see at this gem. Prices for football games at the stadium were in line with any other stadium. Highly encourage anyone to see this stadium!

By JBH |

Beautiful stadium! Very much a “refinery” “Power Station” feel. Architecture is stunning. If you get the nose bleed tickets the elevator to the very top can be intimidating so if you get the spins over heights be forewarned. 🤣

By Jacob H |

Very Hoosier feel building and very large. Have watched football games and also concerts (Jim Irsay Collection)

By Rob S |

Buyer beware. Obstructed view added on after tickets were purchased. BS. No obstructions listed or projected. Drove 10 hours to be disappointed. Money grab. Something should be fine to stop this from happening.

By tlane1969 |

Great venue, excellent seats and great access to everything. Understand the they do not hold concerts in Lucas but they have same great football!!

By Slot King Dream |

This place is huge I love going here when the Colts are playing win or lose is always a good atmosphere fun friendly Place service on getting your food is always on point if you ever have a chance to watch a GameStop in you would enjoy it

By Shawn Maloney |

Great hotel stadium was really nice and downtown area felt safe. Restaurants very good food for the price

By Vondy C |

We visited for the motocross show. The stadium was very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We recently visited a venue in Dayton, Ohio and the seats were very uncomfortable and parking was a disaster. Not here! It was smooth from the time we purchased the ticket until we left the arena. Thank you!

By LostInTime |

I went here for the Motley Crue concert. The sight lines were all good. The sound was good. Getting in was rough. They didn’t handle the crowd well. Nearly everyone missed the first band. The concessions were fine. There are nearby hotels.

By Desiderata90 |

Great place to see a football game, as well as a concert. The food is a little expensive, but that seems to be true everywhere. The building is unique and the new Manning statute is wonderful.

By Rick47172 |

Great venue. Lots of food choices. Handicap friendly. Bourbon, beer, wine. Plenty of different food choices. Place to sit and eat. Gift shops. Staff helpful and friendly. Clean restrooms.

By Tom F |

Had a great time. Love the north end zone seats. Had a bit of a problem with some intoxicated people behind us toward the end of the game but that happens everywhere.

By pegtmd |

Access is really easy in this centrally located stadium. There is lots of nearby parking, and many hotels in the vicinity. Seats are all chairback seats. Lots of great concessions, people are very friendly.

By Tracey O |

This place is kind of small compared to some stadiums Ive been in. Not a bad seat in the building. If you have nosebleeds be prepared to walk up ramps a very long way. Club level is nice with comfy seats. The higher up seats are the typical hard ones. Parking isnt easy. Go early.

By Slockwood |

Awesome!! Cannot wait to go again....next time cleveland plays there!! Stadium was nice and clean, staff was great, limes were short. Great experience.
Lol

By Tom R |

Games here are always fun and entertaining. They go all out as far as the stadium experience goes, pyrotechnics and confetti included. Lots of parking and food/drinks at the stadium and around the stadium. Easy to get in and out.

By Sandra B |

This was our first experience at the Lucas Oil Stadium and it was great. The stadium is small enough I think every seat is good. For a stadium it was very clean. Being able to use the skywalks and convention center to get downtown is a plus on such a cold weekend.

By Sabrina Hart |

Went for the Big 10 Championship game in December 2017, and the energy of the stadium was great! The venue is very well maintained and there were plenty of food stands. They also sell probably the best burger I’ve ever bought at a stadium - I was blown away that it was so good, as I expected pretty mundane stadium type food. The view from our seats was spectacular - we had terrace level seats on the 40 yard line. For the big events, they managed traffic really well, making getting back on the highway a breeze when the event was over.

By T S |

We have been to several stadiums around the league and Lucas Oil was one of the best we have visited. Great food selections and easy access from the JW Marriott by walking through the convention center.

By Chuck L |

Impressive facility! Saw the locker room, press box, great view of the field naturally. Tour guides mad navigating the stadium easy.

By Lori G |

We came down for the State Robotics Competition my son was competing in with his elementary team. We had been in the building for a game several years ago, but had never been to this competition before. We were very impressed with the entire venue. It was very clean, had friendly, helpful service, and good food options, The kids and adults felt welcomed and truly awarded for their accomplishments. We were amazed and thrilled by the ease of parking and entering with no additional cost to families! It was a really special day for my son, and a proud parent moment to be hosted and welcomed at Lucas Oil Stadium!

By Scenic15974072642 |

Staff was very helpful and friendly! Clean bathroom! Good experience! Would go back for another concert!!!!!!!!!!!!

By simpleman66 |

Wow what a stadium. The facilities are amazing, every seat is a great seat. The Jumbotron are amazing. Great staff! Expensive as all other stadiums but excellent!

By Chuck J |

Stopped in to have air conditioner checked. Posted on the wall was 2 services for AC Yet was told of 2 different services but when the mechanic came after a preliminary check - filters were in need of replacement and to check my AC there was only one service ....... the highest cost. While I sat there I listened as different mechanics gave preliminary talks to other customers. All of which got the shuffle in prices. Fast talk procedure to get more of your money. Will not return nor recommend.
Lucas oil centers are not recommended.

By Steve M |

While our seats were way up there, we enjoyed the colts victory. Long way up alot of stairs for sure. A 70 dollar ticket with about 20.00 extra fees. All of this makes it about 100.00 each. No food or drink. Was fun but makes it hard for alot of people to attend.

By kntcole |

We went September 16, 2023 for the University of Louisville versus the Indiana Hoosiers college football game. We had great zone seats. Everybody around us was cool. The Place was a great parking was not that bad. We were walk a little ways and was easy in an easy outwouldn’t hesitate to go back

By KMB_GA |

Visited for the CFP game Georgia vs. Alabama. The stadium was clean and had decent views even from the nosebleed seats - minus some unfortunate puking in a bathroom or two from drunk fans. Only major complaint was it was very dark in the higher sections. It didn’t stop you from seeing the game, but you couldn’t see people seated next to you overly well. Easily to get around; seats were easy to find. Fun experience; I’m sure its great when the Colts are in town too.

By PrpleAce |

No cash accepted at consession stands is really a burden- you can’t send kids with cash to grab a hot dog and soda- the auto- tipping screen are absolutely annoying. Bathroom lives too long and they don’t should ample replays on their giant screens during the the colts game- nice people though and tickets are reasonable in price,

By Sarsprdoc |

Stadium is ok but lacks the neighborhood and history of Packer Land. Better than Detroit or New York FB stadiums.

By Tom Schneider |

The conference I attended at the convention center had a closing celebration event at the stadium. Most I talked to agree with me that it was not too good. Very hot as if the AC was off. Food was mediocre. Staff was mostly good however some were not very friendly at all.

By MattManDo |

I was pleased to find out that Indy Eleven FC were now playing their games at the Lucas Oil Stadium. I had always wanted to see Indy play and what a bonus, they were playing at the Lucas Oil Stadium. The Stadium is amazing. Holds about 67,000. It is very easier to get into and very easy to walk around the stadium to find your seating area. There is a massive foyer entrance when I got through the main gates. This area has refreshment areas, memorabilia for sale and entertainment. It is a truly awesome stadium. The roof was open as the game kicked off at 8:00pm and it was still 85F.
My only complaint was the standard of football. Indy Eleven are not the best and as they are in the top have of the league, I am guessing the standard of the other teams is not that great either. I would bet that one of our English League Two teams (old 4th Division) would wipe the floor with them.
Still. It was well worth going as the stadium is stunning.

By Gus D |

Went for Morgan Wallen concert. The sound was so so bad. For the amazing line up, was one of my least favorite shows ever. Disappointing. Been for football and that’s amazing. Concert-will not do another one, especially for the cost for this show. Truly disappointing.

By tencatdaddy |

The stadium sits on a rise w/ stairs leading to the doors so why are over half the stairs closed? especially w/ thousands trying to get into the place and out of the cold? The people at the gates were very nice but the concourses are way, way too narrow for the number of people attending games and I have never seen smaller restrooms in a stadium in my life. Lines for restrooms and concessions were so intermingled in the narrow concourses you did not know which was which and all of the lines were extremely long due to lack of restroom facilities and slow concessions.

When leaving instead of being able to walk in the climate-controlled stadium to our exit gate the concourse was roped off and we were forced to take the extremely crowded fire escape stairs directly into freezing temperatures.

I really think that whoever designed this place really had no clue as to how to handle as many folks as the place seats.

By SBiggie |

Great for all weather, make sure you check handbag regulations before you go, they are not allowed!!

By Jim T |

We came to Indianapolis to see the colts and Bills play. I was amazed at what a good job the city had done with the building. I wish our stadium was half as nice. Hopefully someday it will. Overall great job.

By Joanne K |

This is a really nice stadium. The bathrooms were generally clean for a sporting event. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did not get any concessions.

By JB-KT |

This stadium is very impressive! The tour is low cost and a great 'behind-the-scenes' opportunity to see the full stadium. It really is an incredible stadium - the size, the new features, the views. Great!

By vette1975@gmail.com |

100% chance of fun! Did a colts game this year with the family and had a great time in the stadium and before tailgating. Make sure you go early to enjoy the pregame fun.

By lovetheUSA76 |

The seats here are padded. I read a review somewhere saying that people need to bring a seat cushion, so I bought one and brought it in. Whoops.

At this event, they only let people in thorough the East gate. This was very inconvenient for me because of where I parked.

Leave yourself lots of extra time to try to find your seat if you've never been here. I found the seating signs and arrangement difficult to understand, and from other people's comments, I wasn't alone.

Other than that, I guess it's a typical stadium. Bring a coat or sweater because the air conditioning is cold.

By jillauer |

The place is huge and awesome. Great seats anywhere you sit and good food! We were there for the Big Ten Championship and will definitely go back!

By ztd1989 |

We went to our First colts game and had a great time! Our seats were in section 600 and it was the white out game and to my surprise they had shirts in our section on the seats too! We were the front row overlooking the field from end zone and loved our view. The atmosphere was a lot of fun! It’s. Little confusing though navigating the stadium in some sections but we figured it out. I will say and this is across the board at all stadiums is I hate when places do prize or shirt drops the top sections miss out. These seats are sometimes cheaper but all some wipe can afford to even get the experiences of a game. The ones lower typically have more money and don’t need the extra attention as much to enhance their time. So maybe spread the love more to the upper sections in addition. Regardless we had a blast and will return!

By AnniK_K |

This is a great place for a game - everything worked well as far as getting to & into the stadium and the atmosphere was great. Good prices at the concession stand and good signage as well. We'll probably be back.

By jason d |

What can you say? Best place to take in a football game - assuming Luck is playing! No problem with restrooms, vending, it's about the game though.

By russcox |

My wife, who is not sports fan, and I had a great experience touring Lucas Oil Stadium. The tour takes you to different levels of the stadium. You go through the areas where the broadcasts sit, coaches in their booths, and VIP areas. There is a great collection of various racing cars and other racing vehicles from the Lucas Oil racing team on the main concourse. You also get to go through the Colts dressing room. They still have Peyton Manning's locker there, and you get to walk on the field - very cool. Taking pictures is allowed. Very, very fun experience.

By Kerrie D |

Love Lucas Oil Stadium. We have been there for numerous games. They move everyone through security quickly and have plenty of gates to enter through. Beautiful facility.

By TDDunk64 |

This review should be 0 stars but chose 1 since we have to make a selection.

We have been a Season Ticket Holder since the Colts landed in Indy on the Mayflower (trucks). We've always been supportive of the facility and team and to find out a THIEF works at Lucas Oil and they don't care is disheartening at best.

Yes, my FIRST mistake was accidentally leaving my iPhone in my cup holder. However, I realized it was still in my cupholder right after I walked out the exit door. I IMMEDIATELY told the CSC person I needed to get my phone that was only about 100 feet away from the entrance. They said NO you can't go back in even though they would be able to see me and MY seat/cupholder where the iPhone was. Instead they wouldn't go get it nor would they let me. They told me to call Lucas Oil lost and found. I called LOS lost and found several times to be told: 1. Sorry we don't have anyone to go get it or check if its here or there, 2) Call back after 8p tonite 3) Call back in 2-3 days, etc. etc. Complete LACK of customer service.

This entire time my phone is pinging to my cupholder and seat until the cleaning crew came in and then it ended up LEAVING the stadium with someone (cleaning crew), went to a repair shop in Lizton past Brownsburg and the Hendricks county sheriff couldn't assist because they said they wouldn't know if the person in possession of my phone actually stole it or if it was given to them by the cleaning crew member at Lucas Oil that took it. Why even bother to take it? It's a paper weight for them and pretty crappy thing to do knowing how connected we are all to our phones with daily and work life.

Of course Lucas Oil Stadium has still done absolutely NOTHING to assist and have been way past useless in this situation. They have cameras and could tell who STOLE my phone, but did they bother to do that? Of course NOT. There was no reason this phone should have ever left the facility and the only people IN Lucas Oil Stadium when my phone began tracking/leaving the stadium was the cleaning crew.

The Colts management were helpful in trying to resolve to our satisfaction but I'm FOREVER PISSED at how POOR the Lucas Oil Stadium staff handled this. Beyond unacceptable and cost me $$$$ to get a new phone due to their lack of taking 2 minutes with or without me to go back and get my phone. Not to mention they have a thief on staff and seem to not care.

We have spent a lot of time and $$$$ at LOS and to be treated like this was NOT expected or appreciated and will NOT be forgotten.

This is a beautiful stadium! Love the layout; super clean; awesome tour as well; everyone was so nice to us; one good reason why I'm a Colts fan; love this place!

By MoMo |

Fabulous stadium with comfortable seating. Good food and liquor. Easy access! Nice team store on site if you’re a Colts fan. It actually rained game day and this stadium has a closable dome. No sitting in the rain to watch the game. Our team won! Go Raiders! Location is nice too. Downtown and walkable distance from our hotel. Overall great experience at Lucas Oil Stadium.

By HoosierWisdom |

Indy has mad a great investment in this stadium and they have done a grwat job of maintaining it and its grounds.

By Dustin H |

I've seen the colts play here several times as well as attended concerts, Monster Jam, NCAA basketball, and Motocross. All unique and enjoyable in their own rights. Such a great venue and always so clean

By Matt |

We went to watch the game against the Browns. Although I'm a Packers fan, I did enjoy the stadium (very impressive). Great atmosphere.
One of the better stadiums I have been to for sure.

By 671perlan |

We went to Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday for a 5k run. Right before the run was suppose to start we had a horrible storm with lightening and thunder and lots of rain. So for safety reasons the race became a walk from the front inside to behind the bleachers thru the tunnels where the football players come thru. We had the honor of being on the 50 yard line and take pictures. Even Blue, the mascot, was there. We got to take our shoes off and feel the new turf in which it was recently put on. We left by 11:00 am to the mall. We came back at 3:00 to talegate. We saw the guy from the commercial "Dilly Dilly", some Colts cheerleaders and an awesome band. By 4:00 we were ready for the Colts and 49ers game. What a day we had. It's a beautiful stadium.

By MsTaylor |

I visited it during a business trip. It’s a very cool place and I would like to have spent longer around the place.

By Joe F |

A great facility. I have watched both football and basketball there numerous times. Easy to get to, good concessions, great seating for football and a fun experience.

By DonG567 |

Went to Colts Bengals game. First time in the stadium. Nice facility, clean, food and drink was a little pricey. Within walking distance to many restaurants. Mostly rap music played loud at pregame and during breaks. Mix it up with rock and roll, R&B, country etc.

By Ashley B |

I was in the stadium for a convention - and was able to walk around in between sessions.

They have gone all out on the decor - one of the best I’ve seen in terms of memorabilia from all aspects on Indianapolis history. Very clean and spacious with comfy seating!

By Brenda H |

Good layout, great downtown location. Next door to Lucas oil convention center. Ample parking. Interesting decor.

By Courty |

Lucas Oil Stadium is impressive! Everything ran smoothly from entry to concessions during this record breaking show. There were adequate restrooms since they brought in loads of port-a-potties for the floor patrons. I was impressed. My husband doesn’t like usual concession food but they had a pot roast sandwich which he said was excellent and tender and I was able to get a freshly baked and delish pizza. They also converted several of the men’s rooms on the main concourse to women’s which was helpful. The staff were all friendly and courteous. The stadium itself was really neatly designed and we loved the large windows at the southwest side. The a/c worked amazingly well and we were comfortable for the whole concert. It was an amazing and most excellent experience!

By Dave F |

Went to the Broncos vs. Colts game (as a Bronco fan!) Beautiful stadium, very easy to find your way around. Very clean and friendly staff. Had several people offer to help us find our way around. Food and drink prices were affordable and good quality too. Overall a great experience (even though our team lost!)

By Byron J |

I have watched Colts football games, Indy Eleven soccer games and attended conventions that use Lucas Oil Stadium. The facility is very nice and great for the many things it is used for.

By doyle l |

Make sure you scope out the parking situation before you travel to the stadium. Other than that it’s a great stadium, comfy seating, clean facilities and awesome staff! Shout out to Miguel!

By mateob1977 |

Love watching the Indy 11 here. Great atmosphere and great time. Never have to worry about bad weather.

By Michael R |

For the 4th year in a row, we have gone to watch the Titans play the Colts. This stadium has great character. It was cold this time so the roof and giant window were closed. But when they are open, the view is amazing. And the Colt fans are among the friendliest in the NFL. It's one stadium that you can take your children and have a great time!

By Diana J |

We were there for the Alan Jackson concert. It was great. Lots of steps for handicapped people. I'm not handicapped but I'm a senior and it was rough for me to climb those steps. Everything seemed expensive. Bathrooms were clean. Parking garage was close and seemed safe.

By Greg D |

I have been to Lucas Oil Stadium about 20 times for games. I have sat all over the stadium and never had a bad seat. It has always been easy in and easy out. No lines that are really long. Lots of different food and drinks to choose from and a great overall game day experience.

By axj23 |

I’ve never been to another football stadium other than my hometown and it was so neat!! Loved that the top closes and opens. Because we freeze at our games haha. The seats were nice and it was very clean.

By 88FFG93OSU |

When to the Drum Corps International (DCI) Finals here in this stadium. I expected the sound to be poor given this is an indoor stadium. It was obviously not DCI's first time here as the sound was great. What a nice venue. Easy to get to and an amazing piece of civil engineering.

The staff at the venue was very friendly and a credit to Lucas Oil Stadium. Very helpful.

I don’t know how this place is for football, but for high-level competitive marching, it was pretty darn nice!

By strykeops |

This facility makes me wish I was a Colts Fan! What a fabulous venue in Indy, and all of its surrounding scene. The entrance, the exit, the underground backstage facilities, the staff on site, the ease and convenience of getting around the facility. Its just a joy to come here year after year and know that it will be the easiest facility to deal with after the challenges of a grueling summer show schedule, and sometimes NOT SO friendly facilities when moving large amounts of people and props for our show. Kudos to the Management and Staff of this extraordinary facility.

By Dan21021 |

Never again. The stadium is nice, good sight lines, comfortable seats and a great game (big10 championship game). It was horrible getting in though. We got there at 6:30 for an 8 pm game. We were probably in the front 25% of the line and it took over an hour to get in. I have never seen such inept planning and security at an event. People were yelling and screaming at security by the time we were about to get in and they called in police to watch over the crowd because they were starting to move and knock over barricades. Security just stood there with there hands in their pockets( literally) and smiled as people yelled at them to do something. 2 of 4 security personnel were doing nothing and they only had two baskets to hold peoples items as they went through the metal detectors which made people have to wait for the basket to come back before they could walk through. I have been to ford field in Detroit, the Bengals stadium, Browns stadium and Arrowhead in KC and I have never waited more than 10 minutes to get in, except for Detroit which was a little slower, but more than an hour is unacceptable and I will never go through that again.

By Lem0ine |

Great venue for the BigTen championship game. $15 parking, 10 minute walk from the stadium on a cold night. Area restaurants were busy, so had the stadium grilled chicken basket (so-so). The end zone carpet came loose during the Buckeye goal line stand (a break for Wisconsin), several minutes game delay to repair. Grass would be better!!!!
Big win for the OSU boys.

By grumpypuffin |

Got a chance to go inside stadium and I was very impressed. The natural light was great. The beautiful concourses really gave the stadium a good feel.

By tjwilson |

Traveling to Indianapolis for the first time for this event, I can see why DCI has made this stadium an essentially permanent location for the World Championships. The stadium has excellent sight views from every angle. Concessions were available with typical stadium fare. Walk to a different concession and you will see a different menu of offerings. Parking is available on the south side for only $10 for the day for this event. I would love to see a Colts game here.

By Sara G |

This place is huge! Very expensive- $3.25 per bottle of water! Outrageous. Everything is expensive. Bathrooms were fairly clean! Has tables to sit in hallways, nice!

By Baileybasset |

We happened to walk by the stadium and decided to see if a tour was available. The guide took us through the entire stadium including the press/media areas, the team locker room and walking on the field. The guide was informative, but we got the feeling he wasn't happy about doing a tour that day. The stadium is beautiful and would be a great place to view a game. We are not fans of the Colts, but thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

By Aaron |

Have been here now for three NFL games and a Monster Jam show as well as a tour. You get great views everywhere in the stadium and with it having a roof can be used all year around. The stadium has a lot of racecar memorabilia around too which really let you know you're in Indianapolis.

The tour is great for the small price and they run quite regularly too. I think it was $10 and you get to see a lot, locker room included.

Only problem is that it can feel like it takes forever to walk around it. I get it, it's a huge stadium and one of the best in the NFL but it can take a long time to get around so wouldn't try meet friends from another area at half-time or anything, will take you the whole of half-time to get there.

Lucas Oil Stadium might not be as safe as you think, during production I personally built the riser cages, at the time I had built approximately 800 of them, at that stage it was discovered that structural steel was accidentally left out due to a blueprint flaw, each cage was approximately 9 to 60 feet in length, there was supposed to be steel rebar kind of shaped like a lightning bolt approximately every 2 feet across the cages for reinforcement, it was left out and the rebar was thrown in a metal dumpster for scrap to cover it up.

My husband and I drove to Indianapolis Indiana to the Lucas Oil Stadium to watch West Lafayette High School from West Lafayette Indiana to play high school state football championship. We bought tickets at the stadium and no trouble getting tickets. The parking was great also, because we had to have handicap parking because of my husbands disability. We paid $10.00 for parking next to the stadium and that was a plus and well worth the $10.00. We sat in the designated area seats for people with wheel chairs. Had a good time and the stadium is awesome. A beautiful place. If you have not ben there please go it is well worth the time and money.

With so many cookie cutter stadium designs in the league, Lucas Oil Stadium is welcomed change. One of the best looking stadiums I have seen to date.

By roadrunner1af |

I've been to several NFL stadiums in my life. I'm a retired veteran and love visiting a stadium when I'm in that city. So I just had to go see the Peyton Manning Statue. I wanted to take a tour but the man in the store said they are only given M-F and I was there on a Sat. I guess I'll just need to attend a game the next time I'm in town.

We came here for a convention and this was one of the facilities being used, inside and outside. It was my first time here and first time at an NFL stadium. I will say that it was quite impressive. The stadium was very well maintained. They have numerous local sports things to look at inside. As far as the set up for the convention, there was obviously ample space for many many booths and displays to fit in. The facility was more than able to accommodate a very large amount of people. It was a good experience and neat to see an NFL stadium. Several people in my group are big football fans and have been to numerous stadiums in the past and they said this was one of the better stadiums they've seen.

I had the pleasure of attending the stadium for the fist time for the DCI World Championships for the first time. I have done a number of reviews, but never on a stadium, so this is unique for me. My observations are based on a special event, and not a football game, however I feel they are relevant.

I found the stadium difficult to navigate, for several reasons. First of all, the concouse area was difficult to navigate. As a stranger to the stadium, I did not find the signage helpful. Following the overhead signs to the seats, i found myself on the far side of my seat, and went back down to go to the next entry point. When I went up, the staff member asked if I needed help. I didn't think I did, but showed her my ticket, and she directed me to my first entry point. I politely thanked her, and did as she suggested. Once I got to my seat, i decided to try and exit the route that inward told wad not the best. I politely told the person there that I was disappointed that she had referred me to the other entry point. She had no response.

I also found the concourse area VERY crowded, with little help from staff. Granted The area was more congested, as Corps had their merchandise booths set up. Kudos to the eldetly gentleman who was near the area near the Vanguard store for trying to get crowds through that area. He was very vocal, and trying to do his best, but to little avail.

Although I'm sure the stadium is ADA Compliant, I found the number of small flights of stairs annoying. Thete were ADA Ramps, but again annoying.

As for the stadium itself, I was kind of surprised by the lack of large video screens. Granted they were sufficient for this event, but I wonder about for football.

Lastly, It was nice to be in a climate controlled dome, but several times i felt a chill in the air. I looked around, and didn't see any air ducts, so I guess it must have been some upper level circulation?

All in all, it was an average experience. Nothing too great, nothing too bad. As such, my neutral rating.

We made the trek from Cincinnati to the Indy Eleven game at Lucas Oil Stadium against the FC Cincinnati. Great place to watch soccer, indoors. Nice place, good seats, and a dedicated visitor section. I will come back. We stayed nearby at the JW Marriott, skywalk over.

By MLSpuds |

West and North gates were closed even though the West gate was right outside our seating area. Forced us to the East gate which meant a walk all the way around the stadium (I know, it didn't kill us) but it was a longer walk on top of from the hotel. There was a band playing in the front and some sidewalk closure which forced us and a lot of others into the road in order to get to the entry gate. Not cool and dangerous. Then, we found out why they sent us to the East, so we would have to walk through all the vendors selling stuff. That would be fine except It backed up the entire hallway all the way around and almost made us late for the performance we came to see. Terrible people management! I'd have to say the wayfinding in the stadium leaves a lot to be desired as well. Being the first time there, it was a chore to find our section with inconsistent signage.

Love seeing the Colts play here and was a true treat when my boys were still in high school the HSE football team got to play some games on the field at Lucas Oil.

By Jim C |

My goal is to visit as many NFL stadiums as possible. This one is drivable from North Carolina so I took advantage on my birthday weekend to check it out. While I did sit up high the sightlines were clear my view was unobstructed the stadium is clean well lit and easy to navigate. Parking was nearby several options are offered I found the rate to be reasonable in the walk to the stadium from the venue I chose was easy.

7 and 10 year olds. First time! Colts versus Broncos. Opening minutes of the game. Hope the colts win!

By davidforrest2018 |

Hopefully your team makes it to the Big Ten Championship game and you get to watch them play here. Great atmosphere. Seats were awesome and it was a good time.

By MEWEHR1977 |

This is a beautiful stadium for watching the colts play to concerts. The roof retracts allowing fresh air in. Located in the middle of downtown, it’s a great location.

By Sarsprdoc |

Security entry not too difficult but they have clear bag policy. Signs are a little confusing for seating but no unobstructed views and leg room was good in section 235. Wish their big screens showed less advertising and had closer look at field action

By Brandon |

Lucas Oil is massive. There are tons of food choices and drink stands. There was a stage with live music before the game. They passed out free Colts hats while everyone walked in. It was a great time and even better when we got to see our team win!

By Scott B |

Watched the Colts/Dolphins game, and my rating is not based on the game. The stadium was large and roomy, not overly loud which really surprised me. They had the "window" open on one end of the stadium, but not the roof when we visited.

The beer available was very limited, only Bud Light and their related brands. No specialty micro beers at all. Food options were very basic... burger, hot dogs, popcorn, etc and prices were fair for a stadium. They do not accept cash at the vending areas or the people serving in the aisles.

The stadium was clean in all areas, including bathrooms. The lines for food and restrooms were not long. The steps getting to seats were somewhat steep (especially when we were in the very top row).

Our 5th Visit to this Magnificent Facility to attend. Drum Corps International World Drum an Bugle Corps Championships. Located near the Downtowm area of Indy, easy walk from. All Downtown Hotels. Not a Bad seat in the House and all Seats are padded Seat-backs. Plenty of room outside the Stadium for Restrooms and Eating Venues, Plenty off Parking around the Stadium. I rate this Stadium with the best in the United States

By d828 |

Great venue for football game, albeit NFL expensive. Good food and drinks options. Enjoy great views and big screen software replays.

By IlliniDLM |

Wasn't aware that you can take a tour of the Colts' House/Lucas Oil Stadium until recently. My husband took me and our 11 year-old Grandson o a tour of this facility. Inexpensive and you get to go into the Press Area and the Colts' Locker Room. Enter through the Gift Shop and you have a Grand Tour. Yu even get to walk onto the field. This place hosts other events, and the guide gives a great review of all the Hoosier State does to promote this area. Well worth taking the tour whether you are local or out of state. Got wonderful pictures and a very intelligent rundown on how this stadium is a conference site and a working part of Indianapolis.

By Jennifer M |

We saw a preseason NFL football game. The ease of getting into the stadium and navigation around the stadium was the best of all venues I’ve been in lately. Lots of food options but is cashless.

By Geronimo2101 |

Awesome stadium, staff very kind and helpful if you needed, Colts vs Texans , great game with a home victory

By MoMo |

Second time at this stadium for a Colts vs. Raiders game . Raiders fan here. Although we got blew out it was a great time. Stadium is 10/10. Comfortable seats , great staff and delicious foods. Cleanliness of bathroom was also 5 Star.

By cheese46 |

This place is amazing from the layout to the sound system. Our seats were the cheap seats but you could still see everything just fine. If only there was an easier way to leave, traffic got pretty backed up

By GunNut37086 |

This stadium is clean, well maintained, well staffed, and is in a great location. The lighting is exemplary around the stadium and the big screens were easy to see. The accoustics were better than expected, especially for a Supercross race. We could actually hear the loud speakers for a change. And since sometimes it's the little things that set a venue apart...this stadium has the best food court I've ever seen! I will go back every year to watch a race at Lucas Oil Stadium

By Virginia C |

We needed a place that wasn't to crowded during GenCon to go sit and cool off. This was the place to go. Lots of seating, nice and cool. Concession stand and the Colts gift store were open. Nice clean stadium. Will be hanging out there again this year!!

By JenDo1014 |

We have seen the Colts play here- which was amazing. We also have seen the BMX racing here and the Big Ten Final games as well. Love this facility- always clean and am always in awe of the building itself!

By Felipe O |

I don't know how to explain this place... Is incredible and huge! Once you get in, it overwhelms you. It has all you need in order to have a great experience and enjoy a Colts game.

By eskswach |

Friendly staff
Great location
Big bathrooms - should have made some of the men’s into women’s for our conference since 80% of BB coaches are women that attend this annual conference.

And offer more healthy food options - cater to the audience

By Retiredtraveler |

Lucas is always a great venue to visit. Although the food is expensive the venue is easily entered (even with security checks) and we actually got a pass out to go eat dinner in between the pit pass time and the show time. It always seems to run efficiently.

By Deborah D |

Very nice stadium. Great seats. Very clean and well maintained. Near interstate, easy drive and lots of parking.

By Donald D |

Great tour. Definitely worth the cost of admission. As a big packer fan it was interesting seeing an indoor stadium with a retractable roof.

By Mike J |

I really loved touring the Lucas Oil Stadium. The tour is well worth the money. We got to see many areas that fans do not normally get to see. I highly recommend this tour, especially to any Colts fan. I visited a few days before their came with the Falcons in September 2019.

By jimmie_d_reid |

I've been to Lucas Oil for many events; football, concerts, and stadium tours. Lucas Oil is very large and up to date. For sporting events, especially Colts games the atmosphere is awesome!

By RollTideRollAZ |

Near downtown and other attractions like the zoo etc. Home of the Indy Colts and other concerts. Tours available or take free photos outside.

By Jacob H |

Multiple visits for football games and concerts. Very nice when they open retractable roof for events on a nice day.

By JH3 |

Lucas Oil Stadium might be the best place to watch a sporting event. I’ve been to a Colts game and also the Big Ten Championship game here in the past year and it is fantastic. Not a bad seat in the dome and a great family atmosphere!

By Mark Barnes |

We had such a great time at the colts game. I absolutely love the inside of the stadium. With the glass wall it has a hinkle feel. We also brought our daughter here for the Taylor swift concert. Good time but sound for concerts is ok. The one negative is depending the time of the game and the roof is open the sun can be blinding for a little bit.

By Prego51 |

Came down for the Big Ten Championship. I bought tickets in the club section-well worth it. The seats were amazing and the food exceptional and fairly priced!!

By Eldonna R |

Great facility. Very impressive. Comfortable seating and good view from so many areas there. Many food options, fantastic 2 story Colts gift shop as well as several small shops throughout the stadium.
They offer tours as well that give you an opportunity to go on the field and into the locker room!

By mlotto7 |

My friend and I have been to a handful of NFL stadiums/venues on both East and West Coast, and Lucas Oil Stadium was our favorite. The atmosphere, layout, experience, service, game experience - all were excellent. We really enjoyed our time and fellow fans.

The stadium is near the heart of the city (which is unique) but traffic flow was OK getting to the stadium. We entered right away, quick through security and ticketing. Even the restrooms were little-to-no wait for an apparent sellout game vs Tampa Bay.

We enjoyed a large lunch of pork loin sandwiches and salad for only $12. This was a true and genuine meal that we felt would have been closer to $20 (or more) at any other stadium.

We really enjoyed our experience and this stadium.

By Doug E |

Took my wife to see the Colts play the Bears. Loved the field size American Flag. And the mention of the American Legion Family helping to unfurl it.

By Khal3d81 |

I finally made it to see my Colts play at home vs the Broncos, traveled from Kuwait to watch the game & let me tell you, the stadium exceeded my expectations, extremely well organized, signs were clear and the vibe was just epic!
Best part about it, is that we beat the Broncos!!!

Sat in 138 section which had a club access, shorter food lines, cleaner bathrooms etc.

By Sea the World |

Very nice stadium. Easy entry and easy to get around. Staff were friendly. Would definitely go back for a game here. Website makes it easy to purchase tickets. The only thing we couldn’t find was the time the gates opened.... Had to call.

By Ksmith1994 |

It was a fun fun fun experience. I had floor tickets to see the reputation tour. It was so much better than when I was at Ohio stadium in July. The place is Ac’d and was nice and cool even with all the people there for the concert. I traveled from Columbus but it wasn’t that bad of drive to get here. I had a great time, I got closeups of Taylor Swift and my friend nick just sat and chilled and had a great time too. Did I tell you it was sold out as well. Everyone in the stands and on the floor had such a great time. The sound during the concert was perfect and the pyromaniacs with it was super cool and definitely made it entertaining. Taylor Swift is a great entertainer and I would suggest her concerts to anyone. The tickets to this stadium tour was very inexpensive as well. I was very pleased. It was walkable from our hotel so it made it very convenient.

Great place to have the Monster trucks. Great seats as well. Love this stadium.. We attend this event every year.

By ideal21 |

Every year we go to an NFL game in a different stadium. This was our 6th stadium and it was by far the best stadium yet! The layout, the race cars everywhere, the seating , everything was phenomenal. While we were cheering on the Bills who lost miserably, we still had a great time. The fans were respectful and our seats were great even though we were up in the 600s. Parking was easy and It was a great day!

By Jaime G |

So glad we were able to attend an actual event. Seating pods kept people separated. People were respectful and followed rules. I think everyone was glad to see live racing. Facility was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

By harleyboater |

I don't think there is a bad seat . It's the third time there and always can see well anywhere. The popcorn and pretzels weren't very good . Be sure to go to guest services first time they give out free things. If you don't want to wait in line take the side door but many stairs there. Lots of food stands and plenty of bathrooms.

By Audrey |

Of all the games and concerts we've seen here, there's never been a bad seat. Even upper level 600's offer a great view, but be prepared to walk some steep steps after the escalators to get there! There are bathrooms offered at every section of every level so we've never had to wait long in line. Beer, food, and gift shop stands are also readily available on every floor. Parking is kind of a pain. Be prepared to pay about $25 for the closer lots. We usually find a $15 lot by Fogo de Chao and walk about 15 minutes to the stadium. The roof of the stadium can transition between open and closed so you can enjoy summer weather or stay warm in the winter. We enjoy it. Worth checking out if you're in Indy!

Side note... there is a purse restriction so, ladies, leave your bags in the car unless they are clear. Even though there were like a million people going into the Colts game, it only took us less than 5 minutes to get all the way through security so don't panic when you see the gigantic crowd.

By nomos |

Riight in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the stadium is connected to a host of hotels networked through the convention center. This is probably more enjoyable if one were a Colts fan. Still, a fun place to tour around.

By Wheels282 |

We went to our first regular season football game and really enjoyed the whole experience from tailgating, to the Colts pregame area out front with live music, and the game itself. We were clear up in the 600's section, but could see the game really well. Also I found myself looking at the giant jumbotron a lot. During times when the game was not playing there were several different activities going on. Before we went we were not sure how well heated the stadium would be. It is heated and very comfortable. When we left we took the ramp at the North end of the stadium to go down.

By malindapennington |

The Lucas Stadium is a wonderful indoor stadium. Clean facility and great food vendors at this location. I highly recommend this facility.

By AdamK123 |

We travelled to the stadium for a Colts-Cowboys game and had a blast! The access to the stadium from the Convention Center and connected hotels is incredible! The stadium itself is better than numerous other stadiums that I have been to for NFL games.

By ross8783 |

Super cross is amazing as usual! Thanks for allowing the shows that you do. Great beer choices, food options. Love this venue.

By renee k |

Great seats and a very nice stadium. They even serve premium beer. My only complaint is a lack of good food. Indy is still trying to gain in the food quality. Sporting events are not close t what other major cities offer.

By Freedom775600 |

Lucas Oil Stadium is an outstanding venue.
Easy access.
Safe parking.
Clean from parking lot all the way through the stadium.

By Miami622 |

Lucas Oil is by far one of the best in the NFL. The concessions, food and drink options are plentiful and reasonably priced for a stadium venue. Both the staff and fans are friendly and great folks to take in a game with. The stadium itself is amazing with a retractable roof and sliding windows. Again, these features are unique compared with other sporting venues. It also sits in a great area of downtown within walking distance from most Indy hotels, attractions and bars/restaurants. I highly recommend catching a Colts game here, even if you’re rooting for the other team as I was!

By Chloe Thomas |

Lucas Oil is by far my favorite NFL stadium. I am a huge Steelers fan but still love this stadium. I am a huge fan of the fact that it is indoors and warm on cold nights! The concessions and vendors all have a wide variety to choose from. No matter where you are, you will have a good seat!

By 2babybluz |

The family went to cheer on my grandson’s high school football team to a state championship there!!! The seats are comfy, plenty of concessions and parking, easy access in and out. Big overhead monitors to watch during the game. Clean bathrooms. We had a great time. Traffic is always a nightmare around these kind of events.

By Indym0m2014 |

When they were building this stadium it seemed like a very large elephant on the Southside of Indy. It looked out of place. But.... After it was finished and I attended a game I couldn't believe how magnificent it is. It's a Must See for Indy,

By Kevin F |

Probably the nicest stadium I have ever seen. Well designed with a retractable roof and plenty of obstruction free seating. Entrance has many cars on display as well.

By Tom R |

Lucas Oil is an excellent stadium. It’s spacious, yet loud enough to keep the atmosphere. Pretty good views of the field all around. There is lots of parking options around the stadium. Hotels and the convention center are close by, as well as the river walk, zoo, baseball stadium and a outdoor concert venue.

By Amy K |

Have seen many events at Lucas Oil Stadium. Colts, college basketball Final Four, high school basketball, high school football and one concert. There is a reason the dome is one of the best stadiums in the United States! It's a must see to experience an event in the dome!

By Anwasha Proshad R |

Fortunately I had the best experience ever trying to get use that service. I ordered tickets from FootballTicket.net. In short time ,they do all arrangements. Really it was a dream for me cz I was abt to lose hope to enjoy my fav match.

By Dani S |

This stadium was awesome! So many things to do on the way into the game. The game was enjoyed by kids and adults. Very clean and restrooms clean. Can’t wait to go to our next colts game!

By RedDragon17 |

I enjoyed my time here during a conference. It was clean, felt new and was comfortable. You can take the conference center hallways to the stadium to avoid the streets and sidewalks.

By oboroguy |

Had a chance to attend a football game and found the seating wider and leg space better than most stadium venues. The food was priced high but fair considering other venues like this.

By Joseph |

Great stadium. Not much to say really. Been there 4 times and each time been great. This time we were in 500-level which is a major pain to walk up to. Felt like forever. Needed a beer after that climb.

By cp214408 |

We were able to get a great deal on a groupon for the game. We sat pretty high but had a good view. The facility was clean and they gave out several free items during the game and free gift when we walked in.

By Spirit L |

I’m not usually a huge fan of football, however this stadium is so fun and a great fit for those who love football and those who don’t. I did find it common to hear language being spoken by others that not may be suitable for all ages. Restrooms were quite clean and there is a wide array of concessions. Staff is friendly and offers help to find seats or exits. It did get very overcrowded at the end of the game and escalators were stuffed to the point that people were being shoved and tripped at the end of the escalator. Good experience in general and a little overwhelming.

By EmsdaleEd |

Great place to watch a football game. Any view is a good view. Seats are fairly comfortable and if your a visiting fan, colts fans are pretty friendly.

By Kade J |

I went to Lucas Oil Stadium multiple dates during the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo, and even though I was sitting in the nosebleeds, it was AMAZING!

By NanjingBob |

The stadium is a great improvement over the old stadium. The seats are comfortable and the view of the field is good, even from the cheap seats. Food selection is very good and surprisingly reasonable for a sports stadium. There is also a nice, albeit small, gift shop.

By Jason S |

What a great facility. We were in the facility for gencon but I can only imagine how loud this stadium gets for a game.

Overall, I hope to one day get down to see a game in the facility. Getting to play board games on an NFL football field is pretty awesome.

By Lynn R |

We were at Lucas Oil for a band competition and needed wheelchair accessibility. We contacted Lucas Oil four times to understand how we navigate a reserved seat to a handicap-accessible seat. With 17 years of requiring wheelchair accessibility, we know how most stadiums provide accessibility. However, our friends flew in for this event and have never been to Lucas Oil. We contacted Lucas Oil four times, via phone and in person, and not one of their guest service could provide a consistent or correct answer. Lucas' guest services didn't know some of the stadium was reserved seating for the BOA event; guest services placed a family with general admission tickets in the reserved seating accessibility area. Lucas guest services sat a family of five, one with a disability. They turned away our one with a disability and a guest and tried to place us in one of the worst seats in the stadium to view a band competition after paying for a premium seat. We knew our group of seven would be divided, five in our reserved seats and two in the accessible area, close to the reserved seating, because that is what most stadiums do. Lucas Oil has hosted BOA for 17 years, so how does it not have a consistent policy with trained staff? Why is it different than Colts games?

By Robert T |

Was here for DCI finals weekend, and while the staff was, for the most part friendly, they have no idea what’s going on. Even “supervisors” gave much different answers to questions and concerns.

By Melissa G |

This place is always great especially when it’s nice enough for the roof to be opened up. Home of the Colts and so much more fun things here

By courtneyb0312 |

My husband and I are ticking stadiums off the list, and this one was amazing! Clean stadium, friendly people, delicious food. It's a great atmosphere.

By Jane V |

Great place to visit, easy access, very family great. Great for all ages. Not a bad seat in the house.

By IgoPlaces |

A fabulous venue with lots of good seats, albeit many steeply pitched. I've been to both Colts v Bears and the BIG TEN championship games here. Sound system is excellent, making the vastly inferior Ohio SU band seem almost as loud as the much larger University of Wisconsin band. Lots of washrooms. Food is not very original and not especially good, a notable disappointment. The Stadium's location is south of Union Station and there are few good outside/inside venues for pre and post-game festivities in the immediate area. However, the walk from north of Union Station is short and the roads are blocked off for quick access. The festivities for the Big Ten championship game are north of Union Station in the Convention Center where each team has a designated section. Indianapolis does not have many downtown hotel rooms, so if going you will drive downtown from the city's perimeter.

By Nwilliamsnate |

Loved every minute of the football game. People were really great even to visiting fans. 7 year old with me had the time of his life.

By Nicole C |

I attended the NCAA Final Four here in 2015. It is enormous but I enjoyed watching the games there. However, we parked in a garage very close, only a couple of blocks, and it took two hours to get out of the garage following the game. I would definitely not recommend parking that close.

By L L |

Tour of the stadium included a trip to the locker room, training room, beer room, main level, and press box. It is pretty spectacular to see.

By J-from-Marysville |

My daughter and I visited during the Big Ten Championship Game. Very nice facility. Hallways are large and easy to navigate. Several nice restrooms, although long lines at halftime and after the game.

Our seats had a good view and were of a comfortable size.

Several different food selections available. But most centered on your typical ballgame fair: hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, nachos etc.

And our team won!

I would attend an event here again.

By Jon N |

This was our first visit to Lucas Oil Stadium and that place was awesome. Fairly easy to get around, lots of food stands and bathrooms. Clean, comfortable and concessions priced fairly well. We were there for Super Cross, now I want to come back for a football game to experience that.

By Kimberly K |

I thought the stadium was great! The inside was clean and the architecture was nice feature when your watching the game.

Great place to watch a football game. You can even acess thru the mall to stay warmer.
Plenty of places to get shirts and snacks.

By indyizzi |

Great facility, great amenities.
Really not a bad season in this building.
Every employee I interacted with was professional and super nice!

By C M |

It's an okay building, but kind of a plain design. I thought it was funny there used to be a sign, "The House That Peyton (Peyton Manning) Built." Since leaving the team they took it down.

By cjs |

the stadium is fun and busy. we had some beers and enjoyed people watching. of course everything was expensive but very fun

By JCL4844 |

Every worker was nice and a great place to watch a game! Restrooms were clean getting in and out of stadium was easy enough. Took a lil bit to get an uber but overall a great time!

By Shelton5765 |

The stadium is good. The view from our upper deck seats was pretty good. The seats themselves are comfortable. I will say that it was a little cold for a dome. We had a vent that blew on us. Most of the people in our area kept their coats on until game time. The concession area is good overall. The signage to get to the upper deck area is not clear. There should be something that says go to the North or South endzone areas for escalator access. That was a minor nuisance. Indy is a nice city. I'm sure it would have been fun in October or April, but it was not a great choice for a January CFB NC host. The access to restaurants didn't support the crowd. It was too cold to spend much time outdoors. It was fun, but I'd rather go to a warm weather city. The stadium was fine overall though.

By 1GiantsMSo |

Went to the 49'ers/Colts game and had a great experience. The checkpoint for security was friendly and efficient. The ticket takers were very attentive. The stadium was very clean inside and had lots of vending options available. Our seats in the 200 level were excellent for watching the game. Restrooms were nearby and clean. The sight lines were terrific for watching the game. The Colt fan prompts were entertaining. Exiting the game was also very easy.

By FrqtTrvlr14 |

Attended a game for the Big Ten Championship and it had the atmosphere of being at a bowl game. It was nice watching a game during December at comfortable a temperature indoors. The view watching the game was great, but my only complaint is when we tried getting something to eat, the area where concessions were located was too small to accommodate the crowd; they should have made the passageways wider.

By Jaime G |

Very nice facility. I wouldn’t normally rate an arena, however, after traveling last year to State Farm Stadium in Arizona last year for the same event, it seemed worth mentioning how much nicer Lucas Oil Stadium is. The facility is well laid out, easy to navigate and clean. Impressed that staff were consistently cleaning throughout the all day event. Plentiful and clean restrooms. Good variety of food, cold beer and snacks. Staff were friendly and helpful.

By Beverly B |

Absolutely a wonderful menu for any event. Parking is very convenient and concessions are amazing. I love it the most when the roof is open. Definitely a must go see the colts

By TruBluTravel |

We came for the NCAA Tournament and watched 10 games at Lucas Oil. They put two courts in the stadium with a curtain to divide them. This building is too big for basketball but it was a great experience. Everything was clean and beautiful. The only downfall is there is no public transit so everyone must drive and parking is expensive around downtown.

By sugarr893 |

Love going here for games and motocross. It's huge, loud, and exciting. They did a great job with the architect and design inside and out!

We got cheap seats on stubhub or one of the other ticket sites. $6 a ticket for he colts/broncos game. Had we gone for the game, I may have felt that we overpaid. We really went to see the stadium. However, considering the seats were on the top level in the corner, we still had a pretty good view of the game. I have heard the saying, "there isn't a bad seat in the ...". It may be true for this stadium. Also, it was very cold outside and very comfortable inside. It was a very nice stadium.

Great place for our event that had over 25,000 people in attendance. We had our opening and closing ceremonies along two general sessions here and everything was great.

Nice roomy huge stadium.Folks are just super friendly go out of their way to help you out.Must go if your into football at all. They also have concerts here.Downtown so you can make a day of it.

Visited for a Colts game, stadium was great, loved our seats and the food was awesome. My family had a great time! Will definitely be back next season.

By Pat D |

Went to the OSU vs Northwestern game on Dec 1. Stadium was amazing. This was a last minute trip. Tickets in section 510 and I was afraid seats would not be great, but we were between 10 & 20 yard line and had a perfect view of field and could see all the plays without binoculars. Amenities were great, lots of restrooms vendors and food and drinks. Parking was also great 3 block to gate EZ Park. Will definitely go again when Buckeyes play.

Beautiful stadium within walking distance of great restaurants and nightlife. You can very comfortably walk around town and feel safe.

Went for a convention. This was the site of part of a trade show. Wear good walking shoes. Be careful of step ups and Downs. They have a lot of uneven displays and cords in carpets.

This tour covers everything at Lucas Oil Stadium including the field. We were able to sit in the quarterback club seats and walk the entire field. Our tour guide Rosemary was knowledgeable and friendly.

First time at Lucas Oil. Very impressive stadium. Wasn’t much open besides vendors inside the field. Very clean facility.

By Emily B |

My Dad and I had a Wonderful time. We went to see the Colts play. Lucas Oil stadium is Huge and very nice. There is so much to see and the surrounding grounds are beautiful & very cool. This is great place e for all ages. Hint get there 4 hours early... by the time you find a parking spot and walk to the stadium & get through security and the crowds it eats up a Ton of time.

By Tammy V |

Take the museum tour. You will be glad you did. It’s interesting, even if you aren’t a football fan. Glad we stopped!

By LivingTheDreamAs4 |

Beautiful stadium that is graced with a statue of the great Peyton Manning. Irsay screwed that one up. But at least Manning was honored with a statue.

Easy access. Food choices are limited around the exterior of the stadium. Would love to catch a game as I’m sure the atmosphere is great on Sundays.

By Salima L |

It was a nice clean hotel. Located conveniently downtown. Breakfast was good. Being on the canal was nice.

By UDub Advisor |

We were recently there for our 3rd time for the Big 10 Championship Game. There is not a bad seat in the house. The views lines are great. However, the viewing of football stats and information is terrible. The down and distance was only displayed in the end zone and the player stats shown on the tiny scoreboard were unreadable. Much less than a spectator would expect in today's game. You need an upgrade

By Ace J |

Came to Lucas Oil Stadium for a sold-out college conference championship football game. The crowd movement into and out of the stadium was organized and quick. The underground ramp from the Convention Center was closed to ticketholders, however, so everyone had to go outside and cross the street. This stadium has a retractable dome, so it was comfortable inside in cold December weather with the dome closed. The theater seats were comfortable. The walk to the restrooms was short and there were no lines! Concession lines were longer, but I did not buy anything. The public address system was hard to understand. The sightlines were excellent. The scoreboards were good. Only the obnoxious mobile network camera often blocked our view of the game. But overall, this was a well-ordered and comfortable stadium.

Great place for football. I have been to several games. Clean nice. Lots of choices for food. Definitely a place to go to a game

By DKPuck |

A very neat stadium in downtown Indianapolis. We were here for the DCI World Championships. We had a great time and enjoyed walking around. Easy in and easy out.

By Wayne S |

This stadium is huge, good views from almost every seat. Lots of different events held here. Operable roof.

By Jeff T |

Four of us went to the game traveling from Zanesville Ohio. It was smooth getting into the stadium. The seats are very comfortable padded. Great views of the field. They also had a good food selection near the club level.

By TravelingFamily |

We attended the Taylor Swift concert and it was our first time in the stadium, it was amazing! Clean, huge and full of things to look at and read while you were walking to your seat. With the size of the stadium I was shocked at what great views all of the seats had.

We would definitely drive 4 hours again to attend a concert here!

By Pamela R |

We walked here from our downtown hotel. It was super quick. Went to see an Indy Eleven Soccer Game. Nice Stadium, Good concessions (even during COVID), and seats have cup holders.

By Kristie LPD |

Viewing a Colts game from Lucas Oil with the top and windows open is top notch! I would recommend to Colts fans and fans of the visiting team (as long as the Colts win!)

By Ian W |

This stadium is magnificent. Well worth a visit. Unfortunately the organised tour is not. It runs on a Friday - we went on a game weekend and it would have been good to know that we could not see the home dressing room. However, the main problem was with the guide. She knew very little and freely admitted that until her son told her the day before she had no idea of who the Colts were playing on the Sunday. She seemed to know nothing about the game. The highlights for her were seeing her boss and showing us a beer cellar at the end of the tour! We have done stadium tours before and generally there are stories about the team etc - here, nothing. Having said that we went to watch the Colts on the Sunday - awesome!

By LionOfKama |

So the first thing that strikes you about Lucas Oil Stadium is the layout. It is incredibly open, and it allows for excellent views and ease at maneuvering through to seats. You can quickly walk to your seat or take an escalator to your level without long lines.

I attended a football game here, and was shocked at the level of Hoosier hospitality. The stadium was offering food from the region of the opponent's team to make the stadium more welcoming for the opposing fans. It was a bit over the top perhaps, but a very nice touch. The crowd was excellent, and was knowledgeable about football, and got into the game, without making it uninviting for outsiders. (Read not too many drunks cussing and throwing bottles)

The drawbacks were the parking is limited nearby so you almost certainly have to walk after parking. That said, the street parking is free in Indianapolis on Sundays, even gamedays, so you can park on the street for free and walk probably less than a mile to the stadium.

The other drawback is the security line to enter. It is not efficiently run, and the people planning it should hire some efficiency experts from Disney to help.

But those are the only issues I saw. The food was good, and while higher-priced than it should be, it was the average of other stadiums I've attended. The bathrooms were numerous and remarkably clean. The seats had cup holders. It was a pretty good stadium overall.

Very nice stadium!! Connected to our hotel (Crowne Plaza) by a skywalk so we didn’t have to go out in the cold!! Stadium is very big, nicely set up, good food and drinks. Great place to see a game!!

By kcolton |

When in different cities I always try and check out the stadium's. Lucas oil stadium did not disappoint has a retractable roof, great seating areas and overall very nice stadium

By Andrew W |

Great stadium which is a family orientated place for you to visit and enjoy. Great outside as well just outside the heart of Indianapolis downtown

By Heleena W |

If you head to the west wing there is no line at all, compared to the south gate entrance. The staff on entrance are really lovely and helpful. The food stalls could offer more variety but it's usually the same at all sports stadiums. We sat in section 105, which was an amazing view of the field and game. The stadium is beautiful - especially during 26 degree weather! It was also extremely easy to exit the stadium after the game. We also loved the fact that they allow kids to play football tournaments on the field after the game!

By Terri B |

Easy in/Easy out. We stayed at hotel in walking distance, so I can’t comment on parking. Nice stadium. Clean facility. Restrooms everywhere so no long lines. Security everywhere which was comforting!

I arranged a guided tour through Lucas Oil Stadium with a group of twelve of our church members, that travel to various interesting venues each month. We arrived on a Tuesday morning and began our tour at the main gift shop. Our guide: Mr. George DeFabis, told us all about the construction, the number of concession stands and how many restrooms were housed in this huge building. Built just over ten years ago, it sits near the center of the City of Indianapolis and the huge windows provide a beautiful view of the tall buildings that form the downtown skyline. With it's retractable roof, this stadium becomes an open-air venue, but only when the skies are clear and the temperatures outside are also pleasant. This is home of the mighty Indianapolis Colts professional -- NFL -- football team, that Champions that won the Superbowl in 2007. However, Lucas Oil Stadium is only the second venue for the Colts. When they started playing in Indy, they were housed in the Hoosier Dome, then named RCA Dome. But when the Indianapolis Convention Center needed to enlarge, the RCA Dome was torn down and the new stadium was built. While on this tour, we viewed the beautiful Club Lounge, the Press Box, the various concourses that encircle the entire building, the elevators and escalators, the home team dressing room and other places only accessible while on a guided tour. The cost for a group tour varies by organization and the ages of the people. An administration fee of $ 50. is required to cover the costs, plus a small fee of between $ 5.00 to $ 10.00 for each person. Advanced reservations are quite welcome, but walk-up visitors can secure a guided tour by arriving during the weekdays, when no scheduled games or concerts are being held. For those that love sports, or those people that just need to see a state-of-the-art sports venue . . . Lucas Oil Stadium is the place to visit.

By Janice14 |

Went to a preseason game, and was impressed on how clean the stadium was. Good seats no matter where you sit. Lots of walking, and there are escalators to ride to the upper levels. Plenty of food courts and restrooms. Never had a line in the women's restrooms! Nice! Had no problem seeing the big screens for the replays, etc. Be sure to check online on the security concerns to enter the stadium, plus, they offer various family fun things to do, before and after the game. Very nice football stadium!

Saw the President & Vice President. Seating was tight but the atmosphere was GREAT!!
No need to say anything more.

By emmsyd1 |

Second year in a row for the Buckeyes at the Big Ten game. Lucas Oil is always a great host and gets folks in and out pretty quickly. You can spend a bundle on concessions quickly. Only complaint is lack of an efficient uber/lyft drop off/pick up area.

By Pastor |

Super venue! SOME of the ushers in the past were RUDE, but overall it is MUCH better now!! LOVE how they keep it COOL in the summer and warm enough in the winter! Great environment!

By jktmrose |

We first took a tour of the stadium on Friday. Our tour guide, Mike, did a great job. He was friendly and informative and we got to walk through and see the whole stadium. It was neat checking out the view from the press box way up and walking on the field. We went to the Colts-Texans game on October 20. Our seats were great (section 330) and we had a great view of the field. The atmosphere outside was amazing with lots to see and do. The stadium is very impressive. We were lucky as the roof was open for our game. There were plenty of food choices on our level. The hot dog, pretzel, and pulled pork sandwich were great (not all at once). I highly recommend Lucas Oil stadium for a great experience.

By macymooChicago |

Last night we attended the third preseason game Colts vs Bears. Colts lost, Andrew Luck announced his retirement. Despite these disappointments we were in awe of this arena. The huge front window and the roof were open. The view was breathtaking.
Then the excitement began.
A flag covering the field it was huge. Colt players came out with fire flaming and fireworks everything was a spectacle.
It was our joy to be invited to a suite which put it all over the top. Thanks Steve.
So I’ve been waiting 3 years to attend a game and see this behemoth monument to sports. I will never forget the constant thrill. Hope to do it again.

By J. Allen Davis |

Lived by this but never really wanted to see it. But did and as far as a stadium it is a great place.

By Brian K |

The 90 minute tour was really cool! My family really enjoyed going behind the scenes of the stadium. The tour guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

This tour is “must see” for anyone visiting Indy.

By bbkkll44 |

As a Bills fan this was an amazing place to watch a game. With plenty of tickets available at the stadium from Scalpers at reasonable prices. It was worth every penny. My Bills lost in a big way. However I won as a fan of the game. Thank you to the Colts organization for creating such a cool environment. Hope the Bills look at what you have done when they build a new stadium.

By breezywells05 |

Love Lucas Oil Stadium even thou the Broncos lost with 30 seconds left in the 4th Quarter. Will miss coming to the stadium since we are getting stationed in NC.

By jtr56 |

First time going to a colts game in Lucas Oil. Been many times to the RCA/ Hoosier dome. I must say what a modern marvel. Never had to go outside. Stayed at downtown Marriott and walked inside all the way to the game. Great seats. What a view. Well worth the price of admission. They quit selling alcohol at the end of three.

By s_m_daniels |

It is well lit and we felt safe at all times-important with so many people. There were plenty of photo-ops for anyone to take. The tribute to Manning, the building itself or the Indy sign. Good sports venue.

By Dave Culp |

The seating and sound system are great but their handicap accommodations need some work. Food was good but not cheap hamburger was $10 and plan on paying $20 to park. Also event i attended started at 11:30 and that is what time they opened the security gates outside with long lines of cold freezing families and wouldn't allow access to seats until 1:30 which i found odd because I'm used to NASCAR races where you can arrive early and sit in your seats for a couple hours if you want.

By Nate H |

Close to downtown with plenty of parking. Good concessions throughout the stadium. Pro shop was a little disappointing.

By Sharon L |

Love this place. Huge Screens so you don't miss a minute of the action. Great layout. Love the displays in the lobby area.

By M.Remi |

Our tour guide was very gracious- we had a slow start waiting for a wheelchair patron to join us. We were able to see the Colts locker room, the press box, some suites, the weight room as well as go down on to the field. The only negative is, unless you purchase the tix ahead of time, it takes quite a while to walk to the ticket booth, then return to the Pro Shop where the tour begins.

By Craig B |

Our family is Titans fans so it was awesome that the colts lost. The stadium was open and it was COLD. They have both the roof that opens and the end zone..,no reason to have the end zone open other than to freeze out fans...Our first time at the stadium and we assumed they would have it closed. So we had to buy the $50 colts blanket to ensure no one got frost bite. Congrats Colts...great way to sell more blankets Jim Irsay...in fact they sold out at most of the kiosks and I had bought the last one in the stadium leaving the other families to freeze... in fact there where two families that glared at me as I walked away with my purchase as they too wanted blankets...not sure if this is in your marketing plan or not Colts.. Stadium is very nice but close the darn end zone doors!!!! The wind that comes in is chilling (obviously the owners box is unaffected by the wind) and we were all wrapped together like beans in a burrito ...we might as well have been in Lambeau. The fans next to us left at halftime as they were too cold...If you are going to an event plan on the roof being open and dress accordingly or you may literally be left out in the cold.

By mcbrayer3212 |

Loved this place. It was we'll maintained and classy. Loved the race cars as you walk in the main entrance and go up the escalators. One of the best stadiums in the NFL!

By wasmith59 |

Very cool venue. I really like a football stadium that looks like a warehouse, instead of a modern UFO. Lots of close parking.

By TOB |

I went to this hall last week during the NRA annual convention to see President Trump and VP Pence speak. The stadium and seating are very comfortable even full as it was for the speeches. The secret service ran everyone through very tight screening and even with that, it was pretty quick getting screened and inside. The stadium personnel there were all polite and helpful. The available food was expensive ($5.50 for a small hot dog with nothing on it) as one would expect. Water fountains are few and far between and they won't give you tap water, it's $3.50 a small bottle.

The lighting, large jumbotron panels on wither side of the speaker were very visible and stage systems, ect., were well lighted and controlled. The only beef I had with the experience was the choice of the sound-man to put massive amounts of short decay reverb on the speaker's voice. If you are used to listening to natural reverberation in a large stadium or hall, it isn't hard to tell when it is added, and this was way over the top, to the point of taking away from the experience. I suspect even with the sound baffle curtains that were hung up high around the perimeter, there would have been ample natural reverberation to make the voice seem big without so much coloration. The low mids piled up like crazy even in the upper seats. Other than that, the stadium experience was great and so were the speakers!

By George W |

Another large NFL stadium but still has charm. Sat in several areas and still had good view of the field.

By Rob J |

Lines for drinks and food need to move very very very much quicker. I’ve wasted way too much time in line rather than watching the event. Bullcrap!

By 901AMC |

We were in town for Volleyball Nationals and wanted to tour the Colts stadium while in Indianapolis. We had no idea before we bought our tickets that 1. the field was taken up, no field goal post and so you DON’T get to go out on the field nor walk through the Colts tunnel. 2. No Air Conditioning for most of your tour so be prepared to really really sweat bad...it’s hotter inside than outside. Had we known there was no field before we bought our tickets we would have passed on taking the tour. When purchasing tickets they should let you know if there is no field (that the main thing everyone wants to see and do is walk out on the field). Since the field was closed 90% of the tour is places you can go anyway if you’re there for an event. In my opinion when you go on a tour of a stadium you want to do and see the things you can’t do on game day. The only two things we got to see that you can’t see on game day was the Colts locker room and press area. Press area was equally disappointing as well because all you see is concrete. Shame on you Lucas Oil for taking peoples hard earned money to do half ass tours. Don’t give tours if a major portion of the tour is closed.

By Dave46033 |

We were given tickets to the last season football game for the Indianapolis Colts, versus the Houston Texans in Lucas Oil Stadium and were seated in Section 240. From this vantage point, you could see all of the field without straining to see the players. The crowd was rather large, considering the Colts were not going to be in post-season games and their season was at 3-12, with only one game left. I was surprised to learn that this stadium has about 100+ places to buy food or beverages, but the prices tend to be much higher than outside this venue. The sound system is very loud, but the temperature inside is very comfortable . . . better than any other NFL stadium venue. The "snow bowl" game in Buffalo, New York was a nightmare !!! Maybe all of the northern NFL teams might think about getting domed stadiums like the one in Indianapolis . . . the site for the 2012 Superbowl.

By ssriser23 |

This is a tremendous venue to watch a sporting event, particularly a football game. The atmosphere entering the building was electric ... and the prestige is top notch. Multiple big video boards, good sound system, excellent sight lines ... was very impressed. Also multiple interactive areas within the stadium.

Only negative is the food quality which is just average. That's the only non great aspect of the place. Would definitely catch another game there.

By Denny H |

Took a group of 14 to the stadium for a tour. It was a full 90 minute plus tour almost overwhelming in scope from the press box to the locker rooms. Very interesting and both our young ladies and men enjoyed it. It would be better if one were a Colts fan. Even so we all thought it fascinating.

By rolando g |

an amzig place to play football, in mi opinion a very functional extructured stadium , a lot of food variety , many stores for souvenirs or gifts , people at the stadium its very , very nice

By Jason R |

I was in town as a reporter for the B1G championship game. I wasn’t able to get to the concourses, but if they are at all like the rest of the stadium they are nice. If you’re a reporter, you’re in for a great facility…except that you’re so high up you feel like you’re halfway to heaven. The amenities and facilities are top notch, however. I hope to get back there again sometime.

By lamlvb |

Lovely, amazing venue. Seats are comfortable, friendly employees to get you where your going. Jumbo trains so you see details when you're in nosebleed section. Suites are fabulous, well stocked.

By Fabulous5th |

We, too, toured the stadium when the field was covered. Yes, it was disappointing. We agree with another reviewer that if the field is going to be unavaible, that info should be made known in advance. It was quite warm for us also.

But we thought Warren did a fabulous job as our guide; and we were pleased overall with the tour. We found the cost to be quite reasonable and plan to go again when we make it up there next.

By Vacation_Commander |

Lucas Oil has been here for years and I can't believe this is the first time I have ever visited the stadium. Some friends and I went to a Colts game and I had a great time.
Pictures and videos on TV really don't do this justice on how beautiful it is. I enjoyed spending some time here walking around and looking at everything before the game even started.
If I lived closer to the stadium, I could really see myself going to more games here. I can't wait to come back and bring the family.

By Brayden T |

we had the best tourist she let us go on the football field, touch the football goals, lay on the training pads and walk up and down the escalators

By Shannon W |

Stadium is new. I have a bad back and it was handicap accessible. Decent price on food and alcohol. Great seats. Totally different feel with the roof open vs closed. Reasonable parking very close to gate.

By LANCE W |

Went here for National American Youth Congress (part of the UPCI). The staff was gracious and helpful. Great job making the young people of the United Pentecostal Church feel welcome and loved. We love you back :)

By Scott F |

We spent an evening here watching a private Garth Brooks concert. The building had a bit of an echo with the music, but overall they handled the sound well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The escalator to the upper deck will bother those who worry about heights, but here is a ramp option to leave. Take that option since most failed to see that exit option.

By adam r |

We try to go to winter jam every year. Lucas oil is a great venue and we always have an outstanding time. Can’t wait till this year. We’ve been to colts games monster trucks and concerts and this venue doesn’t disappoint.

By Nate080411 |

No matter what you are going to see inside the stadium, the stadium itself was very nice. It was clean, updated and the staff was welcoming. This was my first dome experience and I would say there isn't a better way to watch a game (especially in the cold months). They did a great job with the crowd control so it didn't take long to get inside the stadium and get right to a food stand. Clearly there are the standard food choices and beer choices. Overall it was a great place for a visiting team fan to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere.

By Jacob S |

We got to go on the field for the flag display. Stadium is awesome and the place is huge! Colts won so that was awesome. The seats we had were high up but a good view.

By akarp63 |

We went to see a colts football game and enjoyed the whole experience. Our stadium club seats were between the 45 and 50 yard line. Seats with cushions made for an enjoyable game. With these tickets we had access to the stadium club lounge which had above average food such as a sliced Turkey and prime rib station along with the usual pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers and salads. I think all the seats offer a good view of the game. Colts personnel were very helpful including getting my mobile tickets to work.

By domino96 |

Amazing venue- beautiful!!! The colts put on a great show! Bathroom are clean and there are plenty of them enough to not have to wait in long lines. Concession stands are pricey but not abnormal. They do have a bag size restriction so if you are a female I suggest no bag at all!

By Sandy Z |

One of my fav stadiums. Clean. The area around the stadium offers a lot OT things to do when in town

By AshDubya |

We arrived early for a football game (Go Raiders!) and parking was a breeze, very close to the stadium. We sped right through security and had time to wander around the facility. It’s a very nice, well maintained place. And the view from our seats in section 418 was awesome!!

By KMM |

We were in town for the FFA convention. We were at the stadium for the American degree awards ceremony. It was nice and clean. Lot's of clean restrooms. There was an echo.… The only problem we had, was parking. Nothing was marked. They were not ready for the kids and their parents that early on a Saturday morning!

By D T L |

This was my first Colts Football game at Lucas Oil, I had only been at the "Hoosier Dome". Was TOTALLY impressed with the architecture, seating, & views. Set-up & crowd flow was a breeze, & actually enjoyable.

By Baybug2 |

Hubby is huge Manning fan! The statue was just beautiful—-larger than life! Overall great time to see the statue without the crowd! Parking was awesome too!

By 70tmdf |

Massive, clean and well kept, just all around great experience! Our tour guide, Mike was wonderful and informative. Had a subtle sense of humor and was enjoyable. Impressive that we saw the media press box area, quarterback lounge and suite, basement where 300 kegs are stored in a walk-in cooler for games, event room and walk on the field!! Employee in the Colts gift shop was also friendly and helpful. Set aside our purchase so we did't have to carry it thru the tour. The grounds outside and everything inside are all kept up. Hard to believe this stadium is 11 years old. Many people inside cleaning something somewhere. A number of race vehicles also on display (motorcycle, tractor, boat, etc) Also interesting story on how Mr Lucas got his start. Extremely positive experience and highly recomend.

By Maltipoo16 |

The stadium was beautiful. Stopped by to see the Peyton Manning Statue. Decided to check out their team store as well. They had a great off season sale of buy two items get one item of equal or lesser value free.

By Tkepohio |

Took my wife, three boys, and my nephew to the big ten championship game, Ohio State vs Northwestern. It was my first time in the stadium and it was impressive. We sat in section 118, but the boys took over unclaimed front row seats for the entire game. It was a great experience and the Buckeyes won👍🏻, bonus! Lucas Oil Stadium is close to the highway, do it’s easy in and easy out. Lots of food to chose from, like most stadiums.

By Chuck B |

A really fun stadium with awesome fans. Plenty of food and drink stations. We split a pork tenderloin sandwich and French frys. Very tasty. It’s always nice to go to an away game and stadium when your dolphins win, which hasn’t been often this year. You have to check out the Lucas oil speedway cars on the mid level, very cool.

By Pschon |

Great location and connected via tunnel to Convention center.

Huge capacity making it wonderful to visit

By Sherry L |

This was hubby's and my first time at a professional football game and what a first it was! We had promotional seats so we were quite hight up. However, we still felt a part of everything due to the huge screens on the corners. We loved the game, and we were able to see the field very well. We loved the activities on the field and sidelines. It was almost an immersive experience. Looking forward to going again!

By royal B |

Great day at the race track. It was my first time to be there. Art and the whole team were very knowledgeable and friendly.

By Roy Z |

I travel to a lot of stadiums and this was a pleasure. The fans were super friendly and was easy to get in and to our seats. There were lots of vendors selling beer and food in the stadium, which you just don't find.

By Lynn R |

We love going to this venue for this marching band competition. It is walking distance from many hotels. These contests used to be in outdoor venues so we live the air conditioning.

By Dgouldd |

First visit to Lucas Oil Stadium to attend Drum Corps World Finals.
First the positives. Convenient cheap parking, comfy padded seats, great field views even though we were up high. Nice collection of race cars in the main lobby.
Some of the negatives. Too few concession stands open for amount of people in attendance, lack of clear signage, lack of helpful staff, dirty bathrooms.
Bottom line. Great venue to watch event however customer service needs to be improved.

By WorldTravelers1999 |

We took a tour of the stadium due to my son being a fan for 10 years or so. I was amazed by how nice this stadium is compared to other sports venues that we have visited in the past. I would recommend taking the 90 minute tour of this facility; the prices are reasonable: $7 for children/military and $10 for adults. NOTE: There are accommodations for wheel chairs and strollers.

Highly recommend!

By 407ian |

If American Football is your thing and you are in this part of the world then I highly recommend that you do the guided tour of this stadium. We got to see everything from the press box to the changing rooms and even got to walk onto the playing surface for photographs. Our guide was very informative and extremely pleasant. All in all an excellent couple of hours.

By Joseph Robba |

We merely stopped by to see the Peyton statue, but the stadium is very unique and cool looking from the street. Much different from just about any other NFL stadium I've been in.
There is some parking in front of the proshop that you can park in for up to an hour which is nice, which worked out perfectly for us as we were merely wanting to quickly stop to see Peyton and move on with our road trip.

By bruce p |

This is a nice NFL football stadium however note that it is an indoor one. I prefer the open-air ones for the real feeling of football atmosphere. However this one is nice with concourses and Decor that is second to none. Great sight lines from any seat. Easy entry smoking area in decent parking. All the people that work here are very pleasant even if you're in opposing fan. Been to most of the NFL stadiums and I would rate this one up there for only thing keeping it from the top rating would be that it's indoors. Nice Trinitron too.

By COLES ON THE GO |

I have been to 5 nfl stadiums so far and this one is breathtaking. Amazing inside and out. Even the events outside were great.

By J E |

Went for FDIC, a large fireman’s conference and the field was used for the exposition. It’s pretty big inside and also looks really cool. What I liked was that it’s actually connected, all indoors to the Indiana Convention Center, which you can walk between without going outside. The combo of the two locations provides a very large amount of convention space.

Went here for my first ever NFL game. Place was awesome inside with great atmosphere and easy to view the game from most seats. Well organized to get in and out of with little hassle given the amount of people. Colts lost but it was great nonetheless.

We attended a marching band competition recently and the venue is awesome. Modern, good food, and nice lounge facilities.

As a guard instructor, having enough space to accommodate my girls to practice is a must! Lucas oil was so accommodating and made state finals amazing! It’s always a great time!

Amazing architecture and building I was truly amazed at how big the building really was from being inside!

Since we were staying just across the street we decided to do a walking tour of the stadium. Very impressive stadium, would be amazing on game days. We got to walk pretty much everywhere including the press boxes, corporate suites and on the field. Great tour if you like football or the Colts. The statue of Peyton Manning is on the front side of the stadium.

This place just oozes with excitement and class! It makes no difference if it's an Indianapolis Colt's football game or a concert. You just can't wait to get past security and take it all in. I've been going to Lucas Oil Stadium for various events since the day it opened and I still get a rush of adrenaline just walking up to the front doors. It's a good venue for professional soccer games as well as high school football. The building is huge but you can still follow the action from the "cheap seats", or watch on the big screens. It's just AWESOME!

Stadium is very conveniently located to hotels bars and restaurants. Plenty of options to eat and drink at the stadium. All areas including restrooms were clean. Concourse areas are very wide and sears were comfortable and good views in most areas. U2 concert had amazing sound system especially for a stadium.

Was hoping to visit stadium so stopped at Pro shop and a very nice young man helped us. Sorry to say couldn't go into stadium at all.

We went to hear Trump and other speakers. The stadium was average but had poor acoustics which prompted us to cancel attending a concert there the following evening.

Went with my teenage daughter to see the Big Ten Championship game.

The stadium is easy to drive to and there seems to be plenty of parking within a few blocks walk. I parked on a street lot 3-4 blocks north and the lot never completely filled. The area seems fairly safe with plenty of dining and shopping options. There is even a mall within 3 blocks. I did not feel unsafe walking back to the car with my daughter after the game around 11:00PM.

Stadium entry is a bit slow with security. Main concorse areas are very congested. Our seats were towards the top of the stadium and by the end of the first quarter it is extermely hot. Fans would help alot just to move some air around and circulate it back lower.

Plenty of concesssions that are overpriced but that is to be expected. Bathroom lines were extermely long and the wait is easily 15-20 minutes during any time of the game.

The view of the field is fine even from the upper seating areas. Overall I think the stadium is nice but wasn't designed for the amount of people it holds, especially for sell-out crowds.

We were here for the supercross race. Parking nearby was easy (parked near Circle Center Mall). All of the food we had was good. Love coming to Indy!!
