Outstanding service from the people on the beach. I’ve lived here before but never such great service

Rented 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas with a group, the price was very fair. Marcus, the beach attendant, was very helpful and checked on us frequently, suggested attractions and clubs, and helped reposition our umbrellas as the sun moved. Big thanks to Marcus!

Boucher brothers are really good people and set us up with chairs and umbrellas great service and attentive staff.

We are staying here from CT! Richardson Dormeus has been our beach attendant and he is fantastic!! Great personality and very accommodating! He has made or stay on the beach awesome!!

Davon really nailed it on 5th st very professional, attentive and friendly great service. When i stepped out the water he was there with a change of towels!!

Beach and a good playground. Our two and four year old loved it. And it is close to the beach which makes a good combo.

wonderful parksite just along the beach & connecting to the ocean drive with lots of restaurants, bars, hotels, great architecture, partying etc. also the park is great for relaxing.

We stopped her while enjoying a road trip from Iowa to the Florida Keys and back again. We were two couples and two teen boys. We only had part of one day to explore before getting back on the road. We decided to check out this place as it was near our hotel (Chesterfield) and would give our friends (especially one who had never been to Florida) a small taste of South Beach off Ocean Drive during the day. Unfortunately, the day we had was a really windy day with sand whipping around. The boys didn't care, and we didn't really either; however, it just wasn't as nice as it would have been without all the wind. Oh well, all up to Mother Nature. Anyway, the walk way between the beach and shops was nice. They also have a small outdoor gym type of setup if that is something you would enjoy. This kind of reminded me of Muscle Beach in California, but on a much smaller scale. People watching is always fun on South Beach.We enjoyed our time here and would recommend a stop to friends and family but honestly have never not loved any part of South Beach and would recommend every beach/shop/boardwalk area we have been so far.

During our most recent vacation my wife and I spent most of our time at the beach. The weather was perfect and the service at the beach was stellar. The young gentleman that helped us with our umbrellas and chairs were polite and extremely helpful. Donovan was willing to go the extra mile to make sure our time on the beach was enjoyable. We are so thankful for the great service.

This is a lovely park to walk through, with the beach on one side and the art deco buildings on the other there is so much to see. Lots of nice trees so plenty of shade as well.

Pleasant park for an afternoon or after-dinner break.

The park is clean, lit in the evening, lots of traffic and entertainment.

The toilets are in the middle of the park and they are clean.

And above all the view of Ocean Drive whether in the evening or during the day, it’s beautiful…

What a great park right by the beach with paved bike/walking trails.There are Saturday markets, a children's play area and Citibike rentals that is just $10 for 2 hours that you can drop off at many locations in the South Beach area. The tourist info center is in the area.

Today my friends and I rented a cabana and had a FANTASTIC time. Rashied, one of the best employees that they have took great care of us and took some of the best pictures. Would recommend this experience to anyone.

Went to the beach and rent some chairs etc at 12 ST. Charles and Desiray are very helpful and made our trip here very comfortable and nice. Great people!

That was our lucky day. The day started with the powerful sun and finished the same. All day long taking the sunbath and scratching the pavement with rollerskates. That day some people served some shakes in the beach and another playing the volleyball. fantastic feeling. I'm waiting for repetition !!

A nice active place, buzzing heaps of people, outdoor fitness gyms, children's playgrounds,volleyball courts, shelters, walking and biking paths and more well laid out.

I had a great experience with Melissa she helped us out , while our stay in the Clinton hotel .. she was very sweet and had great customer service..

We had such a great time while on the beach at the park. We ended up taking pictures with some Germans, very friendly people. The weather was awesome but oh my gosh the wind was crazy. I can't wait to go back. We didn't realize the chairs were $20 each, so we just walked around.

Rasheed set us up, was more than willing to also help us with anything we needed. The views were nice, weather was perfect, and the $20 for the umbrella was the best investment ever

We wanted to go to the Ocean Drive, but we went through this beautiful park, with lots of palm trees, it is a wonderful tropical park.

Stopped by after lunch, We had a few hours before our flight to relax on the beach. The guy that was helping us with the chairs was very sweet and provided great service. We’ll definitely come back again.

Came to South beach for a girls weekend and we rented days bed. And Ray was the best. He made sure the setup was to our standard and really friendly. Next trip we coming back and asking for Ray.

We visited Lummus Park on Thanksgiving after having lunch nearby. It was a very nice day so there were quite a few people on the beach and enjoying the park. It was clean and well maintained. We'd go back.

Came to south beach for Christmas getaway and jassyeo and Nicole had great customer service!!!! They were very friendly And made our stay at the aqua hotel exceptional!!

This park is located in South Beach on Ocean Drive near 6th Avenue.
It is a beautiful area, wooded with plenty of people practicing exercises in the public appliances there.
It is a good place to walk, ride a bike and enjoy the sun. There are also some beach volei squares mounted.
I recommend visiting if you are around there.

Had a great time on the beach with a very nice umbrella and chairs provided by noah. Noah service was great and would recommend him if you are looking for a great time at the beach.

This park is between the beach and Ocean Drive, so on the walk you see everything: by day you can go to the beach and walk in the park and at night, practically in the same place walk Ocean Drive that is cutest by all the lights of hotels and restaurants. In fact, to get a good look at the lights, you should walk along the sidewalk of the park and not in front of where the bars and restaurants are.

Process to rent a cabana and chairs was pretty easy. Shout out to Richardson Dormeus for working hard to get our spot set up! Appreciate the hassle!! Thank you.

Ashley was nothing less than SPECTACULAR!!! My boyfriend and I had a minor issue with one of the guys who didnt want to set up the furniture for us upon arrrival and payment. Ashley made sure that our experience wasn’t ruined because of this. She got us situated right away and we were able to enjoy our time at the beach with no interruptions or confusion. I definitely recommend stopping by 12th Street to kick it with Ashley! She’s great and FAST!

A nice beach but often has lots of Seaweed. Otherwise a clean beach with a lot of room to find your spot to soak up the sun. There are nice amenities within a short walk such as showers, restrooms and food.

Lummus Park beach is a really great stretch of beach just off Ocean Drive. Flat sand and runs for miles. Good facilities to wash off sand.

Excellent beach and boardwalk area. There are chairs to rent. Drinks available on the beach. There's a nice bathroom area, boardwalk. Lots of people walking, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding. At this time the restaurants had spread out their seating, so there were lots of outside areas & choices of places to eat.

Bisected by the winding Beach Walk and bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and iconic Ocean Drive on the other, Lummus Park is a lovely place to run, walk or cycle. A beautiful setting.

Great park, pretty good shape, just between Ocean Drive and the beach. You can cross it when you do the walk along the beach (North-South). We had great time there, then it is just a park so nothing fancy to expect

The park was ok and was too crowded at times. There was a festival going on when I went down and will give it to the maintenance crew - they tried their best to keep the area clean and accessible for people.

Perfect for lingering and walking on the promenade. The palm trees offer shady spots, so you can also have a perfect picnic here. 🥰

Coming from New York City, combing the green grass with my bare feet was a retreat. The palm trees, and sound of birds were relaxing and it was fun to see all of the hotels and restaurants along the way.

Mariam and Ashley were the best, they told us everything we needed to know, Mariam was so helpful as well she did great 👍🏽 on her day of training. machine set us up with our bed and made sure we enjoyed ourselves

The beach is very long, sandy and all the lifeguard stations are individually colored. On the other side of the park in the Art Deco buildings are plenty of cafes, restaurants to eat. The park has restroom, volleyball courts too. Parking and traffic in the area was a giant issue.

Xcellent service from our attendant. Very courteous and helpful. Two days of friendly service made the family happy.

I loved the shopping they had in the park on the Sunday we were there in May. I am not sure if this is every Sunday or not. I purchased some very nice and unique jewelry pieces for a great price. They had things for purchase like art, cellphone cases, clothing, shoes and jewelry.

During my nighttime walk through the park to get away from the crowds on Ocean Drive I kept coming across groups of pot smokers. Besides the smell it was a quiet and safe park with periodic patrols by the police.

Early the next morning, I found the expansive beach quite empty so it made for a nice relaxing walk. Soft white sand and a clean beach was attractive. Considering the closeness to all the hotels along Ocean Drive I can see how this place could become quite packed and busy.

One other note, it was about 10 minutes of a walk to the closest public parking. Some smart families were tugging wagons filled with all their beach stuff. Definitely a good idea especially after a long day at the beach I would not want to lug it all back in my arms as well as convince the daughters to walks back on their own!

Noah from Boucher brothers was a pleasure to meet. I am from Philadelphia and came to Miami for my bday with 4 of my friends. On the beach we encountered Noah when we needed refreshments. He was so pleasure and respectful. Talking to Noah I learned he is about to graduate high school and I am so proud of him because I also have an 18yrs son whose is working and about to graduate high school. I hope when I visit the beach again and ask about Noah I would hear that he has continued on to make a different in people because he sure brought a smile on my face. Congratulations again Noah on graduating high school

The park was clean and relaxing. You can do alot of different activites and/or relax. People watching at the park is very interesting. Enjoyed the time.

Lummus Park is great park right on the beach of South beach neighborhood. It takes you from the beach to fresh green views, another lively atmosphere. You should visit if you are in South beach for it's nice spot.

This area is a great place to relax and spend part of the day. On the other hand, it’s not the safest. A lot of people smoking pot and so many people yelling at each other. It’s really not good for kids.

They gave us a Great service!!!
Prices are affordable for all day.

Has long cement boardwalk for biking, running, or strolling. Newly redone Fitness Center at 9th Street with outdoor equipment including free weights. Volleyball courts also are great fun.

Ashley was a great help, she told us everything we needed to know. She helped us out so much, WE enjoyed OUR DAY! can’t wait to come BACK, GOTTA KICK IT WITH ASHLEY.

We walked across from our hotel to the beach. We enjoyed the palm trees lining the Ocean drive and the other vintage trees in the park. There are a few benches, water fountain to wash off the sand, and a very large cennter with exercise equipments.

This park was great, lots of people just taking a stroll, rollerblading, skateboarding or working out. The park is right on South Beach which has beautiful water and sand.

The service here was exceptional... the cashier was very friendly and professional. The young man that set up everything was very informative and assisted with the set up of the equipment we rented.

This is a great park to jog along ocean drive. If you want oust stroll through here it's a great place and one can see many people either biking, jogging or walking at all hours. And right next to the ocean!!

Park full of palm trees, close to the very wide beach of Miami Beach. Pedestrian and cycle path that reaches the South Pointe in a very enjoyable context.

A great place to enjoy the view of the ocean as well as soak up the atmosphere on Ocean Drive. It is just lovely and special.

The service at the Boucher Brothers was amazing! We were here for four days from NYC and was truly impressed by the hospitality. Not to mention their cabanas are really nice! Will definitely be back!

What a nice park to sit and relax or use to access the beach. Lots of paths to use or rent a bike or just enjoy the view.

Mabye not the place I'll stay and walk after dark, but a beautiful park in the daytime. Right by the beach on Sout Beach and right beside ocean Drive. If you take the Boardwalk from a bit farther north on the Beach, you walk trough Lummus Park, and the beach area in Miami beach are beautiful from north to south.

Water was amazing, sand was super and the people were all very nice. Take the time for a casual stroll and stop in at one of the local outdoor bars for a thirst quencher.

Ashley was amaZing, she made sure she we knew everything from the rentals and to food ans water sports, dimitri was great and accomodated us just how we wanted

It was super fun and friendly , across the street is like a lgbtqia bar that does dope drag shows and have the best drinks .. you will hear their music and laugh as you enter through this part of the beach

Really enjoyed walking through this park - its nice and chilled, there are no cars its just bikes and people on roller blades.

This park seems much nicer than it was 2 years ago. It was well manicured and well lit at night. The bathrooms are well maintained . It’s ocean side with lots of palm trees. Very pretty and a good walkway.

I came to the Beach with my partner and we stop by one of the huts and Choomay talk to us was courteous quirky and informative and advise us about this wonderful bed package I will certainly come tomorrow to buy the bed.The beach attendant was alway wonderful (King).

What a beautiful stretch of beachfront is this park in Miami Beach! There’s great ocean and nice dining nearby.

Extremely nice beach with restrooms and water fountains available for free. Strongly recommend downloading the app to pay and park in the street or look for the meters. Parking garages are expensive around this area. Strongly recommend to be there EARLY around 7 am to find good parking and enjoy the beach. There is little shade to sit in once the sun starts to get hot. Lots of shops to walk around in the neighboring streets and lots of restaurants and bars in the strip in front of the beach! Definitely a go to place while in Miami!

These guys really go out of their way to make sure you and your group are well taken care of while your at the beach!!!!

Green park with not a whole lot to do.
The part is next to the beach so you get the beach activity going.
There are volleyball courts set up so it's cool to have that vibe.
The boardwalk passes through it so you get that "exercise traffic" vibe which is cool.
You'll end up visiting it because of Ocean Dr so it's ok, but the Park itself .... not a whole lot happening.

Mariam and Ashley were great and helpful , mariam was AWESOME , I HOPE she does good she was great on her training day. Machine was so helpful, he set us up 2 chairs and 1 umbrella just how we liked it. We can't wait to come back

First time at south beach and Tim was very helpful. He was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend having Tim help you with whatever you need in getting comfortable at the beach

They’ve been working out in this heat for a long time and making sure ppl weren’t just taking the items that needed to be paid for! They were ON it and again working in this extreme hotness STILL doing their jobs and such

Spent a few days on South Beach and always used the chair service from Boucher Brothers. On my last day we met Jassyel and he’s the man!! He went way above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of! He was always friendly, kept coming to check in on us, and genuinely wanted to be sure the whole beach was having a good time! Jassyel is a great member of the team!

Ashley, Marcus and Jace were wonderful with customer service and gave us a great experience on the beach. There was a bit of confusion with the number of people we had per room, but Ashley dealt with it quickly and made sure to accommodate our needs. Awesome time on South Beach!

The staff at the 8th location provided us with excellent customer service. Exact location we wanted to set up to enjoy our day as a family at the beach. Ashley & Amaan provides my family with great customer service. My family and I will definitely come back to the 8th street location because of them!

The boardwalk was fun for walking and riding bikes. The kids an I had sooo much fun. We drove down to Miami from home so we had our own chairs and umbrellas and it was such a joy!!! the water was super warm and clear and not too deep...We swam and really enjoyed ourselves

We went to this park for the SOBE seafood festival.

Every single tent had great food vendors with delicious treats for all of us.
We had amazing and fresh seafood from different great restaurants. The drinks were excellent too, my two favorites were Jack Daniel's and the chardonnay wine from WS vineyards.

They also had fun activities for kids and nice live music.

No inflatables or boogie boards allowed. Rough water, not ideal for children. Lots of seaweed too but beautiful and warm water. just wish I didn’t lose 3 days to add weather.

you can go for a walk or for a ride. There is plenty of room and some shade when the sun is too hot. It does have some homeless people sleeping around.

August is very hot hot! We went to the park but didn't stay to much. Beautiful sandy beech and a blue ocean but too hot to enjoy it during the day. You should have come early in the morning or late in the evening. The park is free.
Great park to go for a jog, people watch, lay down under a palm tree or just sit and relax. Lummus runs parallel to Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach. They have bits of sand, volleyball nets, some workout equipment, a outdoor bathroom and shower area, lots of trails, and plenty of benches.
The park is very large and stretches across almost 8 blocks between Ocean Drive and the beach.

The Lummus Park Beach is located directly across the street from the Art Deco hotels on Ocean Drive. It features volley ball nets where you can see people playing sets of volley ball everyday, a bicycle path, a walking path, and entrance onto the beach itself. You see people exercising and having fun!

Jassyel and Melissa was live and lit 🔥, they took us pictures, jassyel sat us down on our chairs! They got GREAT hospitality, Melissa was sweet when she arrived!!!

We arrived at the beach a little late in the afternoon and there weren’t anymore Cabana’s available. Jassyel was helping us setup an umbrella when he noticed a group leaving a cabana and immediately ran over to hold it for us because that is what we really wanted. He was very helpful and we were so greatful for the cabana. We stayed on the beach a few hours and really enjoyed our time. We come to Miami often for vacation and we will definitely be coming back. Jassyel was amazing, appreciated all his help.

We had a wonderful time at the Capital One Beach Bash (featuring Dave Matthews Band and also Walk the Moon) that was free to attend a few nights ago! The park was well maintained and the event was well policed. Everyone attending seemed to enjoy themselves and those that were just visiting the area during the festivities seemed to have a good time as well!

Park itself has volleyball and an outside gym, so good for people watching. Various paths take you to the beach itself. Clean and tidy.

Junior merancier, is a real respectful guy and has done his job since I've been on this beach. Couldn't ask for no one better very grown as a 17 year old graduate!! Will speak very highly of him if asked about.

Expansive park that people were taking full advantage of. Running, walking, biking, walking dogs, easy access to the beach. Very nice.

I think it's a nice park with quite a few things to see and plenty of opportunities to be active. And since South Beach's main attractions (Ocean Drive and Miami Beach?!) are just adjacent to it, you can't miss it!

Had some great accommodations with Alieana & Charles A as they helped me with a nice tent & great customer service. They made things a lot easier & worth coming to the beach.

If you've come to Miami Beach to escape winter, a walk along this promenade will really help. It's clean and well-maintained. Parallel to Ocean Drive and Collins Ave. if you want to stop for a fancy lunch or expensive drink. If you're being a bit more frugal, stop at La Playa Market and pick up your own food, find a park bench and enjoy.

This park is beautiful! The area around the park is beautifully landscaped with palm trees, outdoor showers, and a bathroom. The beach is every better. The white sand is easy to walk on and has small sea shells in it. Depending on the day the water is clear and a beautiful blue. There are umbrellas and seating available everywhere (you have to rent them) and plenty of spots for you if you just have a towel. The are many lifeguard towers. There are also a lot of trash cans. Right outside the park is Ocean Drive an Art Deco historical street lined with expensive hotels, bars, and restaurants. There is also a boardwalk that goes all the way up or down to other areas and beaches. It's great to walk on and a quick way to get around. The only down side to this park is you need to watch your stuff, as there are homeless people wandering the beach and streets.

Off the boat in Miami we spent the day at Lummus Part (the southern part of south beach) Shaun set us up with lounge bed, chairs and umbrellas - took care of all our needs as if we were celebrities AAA+++ service! We had a beautiful sunny day

It was peaceful and clean here. Lovely views, clear water that was very warm and refreshing. The walk way around the park was also kept clean.

This is such a beautiful park and beach: it's clean, feels safe and the water is gorgeous. The pathway that runs along the beach extends for miles and is a great spot for a run.

We were in Miami Beach South for 4 days. I did not expect much froma "city-beach", but we were surprised. The beach is very long (go on for many many km) and is not overcrowded, not even in the most famous part .....there is possibility to rent beach beds and umbrellas in every part of it, the water was warm and nice. Considering we are in a city, was a great beach

So many options. There are playgrounds for the kids, paths to walk, job, skate or ride bicycles on, sand volleyball courts, weight equipment, yoga classes, etc.

They've also got plenty of public restrooms and access to tons of restaurants.

All of this right next to the beautiful beach and ocean.

The beach is nice to swim land hang out. I also like to walk along the boardwalk there or go for a run.

Today could not have been more serene. The weather was perfect and the attendant, Marcus, was attentive and extremely helpful. He frequently checked on my friends and I without prompting and did not complain when we altered our request. It could not have been a more perfect day and Marcus was the cherry on top!

Always love going to this part of the beach! It's usually pretty quiet early in the mornings. This time I created some content, now the bloody used tampon on the bench could have been eliminated out of the picture, some of yall are NASTY! But I moved and found a nice spot to shoot my content! I love you South Beach!

The staff is just phenomenal, the entire team is super amazing and they are always taking care of you making sure you are doing great and taken care off during a sunny day in the beach. If you have kids there is a plaground and some benches. It feels more like a lawn than a park but it's nice to take a stroll nex to it.

We randomly ended up here after wandering off our cruise boat and jumping in a taxi. We rented a bed, umbrellas and towels and it was well worth the price. Jeffrey did an excellent job arranging our furniture near the waves. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Very thin but long park. It's a nice respite from the hotels and concrete. I'd definitely recommend an early morning or evening walk when it's not as hot. Don't miss the muscle beach/workout area! Great public space.

This beach is amazing. I spent my entire trip here at least once a day. The beach is kept very clean and orderly. During the weekends they hold market stands where artists and vendors sell cute items. I definitely recommend this beach if you are in the area.

The park is surely very well kept and looking beautiful and pristine as you pass it on the way to the beach where the sand is fine but not like the flour like sand of Clearwater. We were fortunate to be having great warm water, very clear with lots of fish near us.

As this park is located right on Ocean drive, it has lots of police near it, especially in the evening, as I noticed, when the scantily clad with string between their behinds but not forgetting their high heels, decide to come from the beach and 'pop' in the numerous bars and restaurants competing over who has more loud music.

Probably the presence of the police is what re-assures the decent people of the world.

The park itself is pleasant but not spectacular; it's really just a barrier strip between Ocean Drive and the sand, with a beach house. Great for a stroll, with the real attractions on either side of the park.

Lummus Park is a great place to go for a walk, jog, run or to ride your bike/skateboard/rollerskates. This park is well maintained and has an outside gym for the ones who love to work out. There's also some (food)festivals taken place here sometimes and for Christmas they even decorated the trees. Very lovely and worth going here.

Bryan Jazmin and Julio helped us find chairs exactly where we Webster even though it was packed. He was really kind and made sure we were comfortable.

Lots of people walking, talking, riding, skating. Winds along the beach a long way. Restaurants and hotels all along the way as well.

It goes along more than 10 blocks on Ocan Drive. A very nice lwalk.with many places to stop by under the shde of the palm trees!

We rented chairs and umbrella for the day on 14 th street. Terrell and jay helped us get set up. The were excellent. Kept checking on us we at staying across the street at crescent resort. The cost for the day was 60 dollars for
2 chairs, towels and an umbrella we have use of them till 5 pm. Very pleased. Will be back tomorrow😀

Arixis made our day at the beach such a pleasant one! When we first arrivied he was working to set up all of the chairs and umbrellas and stopped what he was doing to assist us with our questions and was very friendly. He showed us where to check in and then showed us to our chairs and then told us about the things we could do for the day. When we left for lunch and returned he greeted us and he was just genuinely happy to see us. He brought us new towels and was very happy throughout the day!

This is a great beach with lots of chair and umbrella venders. Alsosome of the best people watching anywhere and food steps away.

When I came to this beach with my friends, the worker Noah for the Boucher Brothers made my family and I have the best experience. He got us the tent we needed and made sure we had no issues while we were there. Overall if you go here, make sure Noah takes care of you and your family for the best experience!

We stayed at a nice hotel (Betsy) just in front of Lummus Park and enjoyed both the beach and the park (also for Jogging early in the mornings). Fantastic place.

First, lets talk about the park. What was a comfortable and beautiful park to relax for all ages ten years ago has been degraded by the City of Miami Beach Parks department.

Beginning about 5 years ago after a destructive hurricane, the classic wooden benches (made famous by many Hollywood productions like The Bird Cage) were replaced by uncomfortable and ugly aluminum benches. It fixed a maintenance issue but removed an icon system in a city that prides itself on preservation of historical icons. I can't be precise about the reduction in seating spaces that occured at the same time but it's definitely difficult to find a place to sit other than the ground now - an impossible task for a senior or disabled resident or visitor. During the same period, all public drinking fountains also disappeared from the park (you might find one at the lifeguard station/Art Deco visitor center..)

To their credit, this same park department DID add and enhance the park for children by upgrading and adding playground areas. Don't look for someplace for drinking water for your child at any of these locations though either..

Isn't it strange that the water fountains disappeared and pay-for-filling-your-bottle stations appeared in the park about the same time?

Now, the beach.

25 years ago, there were a few large commercial 'shows' allowed to close down 3 or 4 blocks of beach between 16th street and about 10th street. It took a few days to erect the tents and service buildings, the shows lasted 3 or 4 days, and then another week to take them down. The Wine and Food Show was the most famous. Now, that show has been cloned by innumerable like 'shows'(The City of Miami Beach can fill in the number) that inhibit access 8 or 9 blocks of this great beach for a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks EACH time (put up plus take down) throughout the peak winter tourist season. Unbelievable how a county/city that lives on tourism income allows this year after year..

To be fair, the beach isn't really 'closed'. You just have to find an entrance and exit area and push your way through the construction teams and participant crowds that block you path between Lummus Park and the surf.

Many eyesores have been allowed to flourish at famous beaches around the world - vehicles allowed to drive up and down the beach and use as a parking lot are the worst. But, the tent cities that are constantly being built, removed and built again in South Beach are right up there with the worst.

So, if you want to visit a famous and great natural beach each winter, South Beach between 16th Street and about 5th street is NOT the place you want to go..

Lummus Park is spectacular. Lots of fun things to do for everyone. Walking, bicycling, enjoying the sun ... and fun people watching! Don’t miss it!

Superb park at the southern tip of Miami Beach. This is the park that is right across Ocean Drive best known place in Miami Beach. This is where you can see people playing sports or take pictures with the colorful letters Miami Beach. A must during your visit.

Started our day with clouds and rain but finally it cleared up and made it to the beach ! I was so hungry and Charles was quick and great to help me make sure i was able to find a quick snack on the beach and walked us over to the beach snack shack he was stationed at. Beautiful park! A huge part of what made Miami Beach a fun vacation spot. There are playgrounds, a workout park, bathrooms, shower stations to remove sand, and lots of pretty palm trees. There is a nice, wide, paved path along most of the beach.

I came to 12 street, the beach attendant Charles and the cashier Ashley were amazing!!! Definitely recommend.

Jassyel gave us exceptional service. The weather was not the best but they helped us with towels and gave us information about the area. They also let us know of some things near the aqua hotel where we stayed. Thanks for making our trip better!

This has been a great beach option for our family the biggest draw back is probably finding parking but once you know your way around you get used to the public lots and you can find lots that charge by the hour instead of a flat $20 or $40. Google public parking. Once parked there is so much to see and do besides the fact that the beach is amazing. The water is warm year round. Miami residents tend to shy away in the low 70 temps saying it is too cold but if you are from a cold state it will feel amazing to you on the beach. There are a ton of places to eat in many different price points and food types just keep looking until you find one that meets your family needs. My son loves BurgerFi for the burgers and chocolate shakes.

We came to south beach for a few days and spent most of our time at the beach.
We rented an umbrella on the beach. Large blue umbrellas with Boucher brothers across the sides. It was a little windy in the afternoon but Romero came over and adjusted our umbrella so we would have no problems. I am very impressed with the service Romero provided to us, it shows he takes his job seriously and truly wants everyone he meets to have an amazing vacation. We will be back and rent an umbrella near 6th street again.

What makes this park so attractive is its location. Squeezed between Ocean Dr and the beach. It's great for walking, exercise and even for biking. Just keep in mind that any kind of electric bikes or scooters are not permitted on the park. There are multiple spaces through out the park with exercise equipment so you will see many fitness enthusiasts there. We felt safe during the day because law enforcement presence was evident at all times.

Lummus Beach was great we had a very attentive service from Rashid at Boucher Brothers! He was professional and knowledgeable! The weather was amazing.

Miami Beach has several beautiful palm filled parks along the beach boardwalk, but the one you are most likely to see and experience is Lummus for two reasons. First is its location as it is directly across vast majority of historic art-deco hotels on Ocean Ave. Second is the features in the park. In addition to the Art Deco Welcome Center, the park also hosts the Miami Beach sign where you can get a picture as we did. We visited for both on our walking historic art deco bar tour when we also got a picture with the sign.

In the seedy section of South Beach where the wolves and harlots come out to play at night in the neon lit Art Deco Historic Preservation buildings, amongst the mediocre restaurants and bars, even where you can stand at the base of the Scarface Staircase where the famous chainsaw scene was filmed at 728 Ocean Drive, I did not see anyone really using this park, aside the few runners or walkers on the serpentine concrete promenade... but then again it was hot, hot, hot...…. The water at the beach this week has not been inviting, basically a shade of yellow-brown. To find clean water you have to go south to South Pointe Park for the water to clear up, and it was beautiful down there all week long.

We walked around this area in our last day in South Beach. The view was so awesome we do not want to leave. The sand is so powdery and the waters is calling you to take a dip.

This is the centre of events during March Break. Normally there are significant crowds and Ocean Drive is closed down to allow freer circulation of pedestrians. It is a great place to people watch and visit the iconic Art Deco hotels near by. We are always impressed by the level of security provided by the Miami Police which makes everything safe for the many visitors. The beach is gorgeous for sunbathing or swimming with life guard stations scattered along the beach.

I came to the beach to relax before my flight back home and wanted To rent some equipment to relax on. Choomay made me feel so comfortable and king cared for me really nice and made sure I was ok.

We had a late flight out of the area after a cruise, so spent the morning on the beach with a couple chairs and an umbrella. Clean, white sand beach. Nice cool water with an easy surf. Great place to relax and get some sun.

Everything is well kept and access to the beach is very adequate. There services on the beach are great and the Life Guards do an exceptional job. There are plenty of showers once you're off the beach and Ocean Drive is manic! Parking can be an issue but there are plenty of public parking garages a short walk (1 or 2 short blocks, not NYC blocks!) from the beach. There's also free public transportation at various locations on Washington Avenue from 1st Street all the way up.

Noah was the best! He was super helpful with EVERYTHING. He helped fix our cabana and was very kind.

This young man made our trip to the beach so comfortable and relaxing. He set up our cabana with ease. He was attentive and very helpful with our questions. And when we asked for suggestions for local fun he confirmed some great places we had looked up before that we were unsure about, but that didn't stop him from helping other people when he needed to. When you talk about friendly customer service this is what I as a tourist look for.

Lummus Park Beach is a place to relax from the hot sun and there is a cool breeze that comes from the palm trees. The park is maintained by groundskeepers who make sure the park is well manicured and that water sprinklers keep the grass green. There is always a chance to get a spray from the water sprinklers which is a relief from the humid air.

Great guys. Very attentive. Got us extra towels. Obviously like what they do and pleasant to work with. #BoucheyBros beats going to the beach with towels and chairs.

Went to miami beach for my moms 60th birthday weekend. Spent all day at lummus park mom LOVED it, as it was her first trip to the beach. Rasheed was great to help with cabana rentals. Great time, chill spot and beach fun.

Love to walk here and do some people watching. Boutiques are a delight fill with odd staff that you wont find elsewhere.

Jeffery is great helping us setup tent and answering our questions. Tent is great for family letting us stay longer on the beach while enjoying pizza and drink on the beach comfortably.

I wanted to comw on here and help yall make this mans day cause he sure made ours..He helped us out and made our beach day awesome..we need people like him in this World S/o to Arixisgreat customer service!!

Some of the park sidewalks (most connectors) are under renovation (Feb 2019) but don't let that stop you from biking thru the park on a sunny day. Very nice! Hard to beat the people watching too!

When we visited a big chunk of the park was literally closed off for a Mango Festival. Cool you would think...but the festival had walled itself off and they were trying to charge $20 to get in. The portion of the park available was nice however and is a real plus for the area!

Yesterday me and my friends went to the beach and Jordan Gave Us Amazing Service For The Boucher Brothers. We first sat down thinking the chairs were free at first, until the gentlemen came by and explain what was to be offered. We settled for two chairs and an umbrella. Jordan kept coming back to check on us. 5 star service!

Lummus park is a narrow, but pretty long stretch of green space in south beach running parallel with the ocean and dividing it from the Ocean Dr.
It has a winding pedestrian path, an open air gym, several volleyball courts and a children playground. It's a terrific outdoor free area to relax after swimming. The only downside are the homeless sleeping around.

-very popular since it's right off Ocean Drive but it is a must do destination to check out all the cool painted lifeguard stations.

Charles was amazing so friendly he ran across the beach to check for the availability for the cabanas and the rest of the staff Ashanti and Aaliyah were amazing as well super friendly guys 7st booth you guys amazing staff super cool

This is a nice park area running adjacent to the beach. It is clean and well maintained, has plenty of seating and an exercise area. Lot's of places close by to eat and drink and the ocean just over the brow of the beach front. There was a big entertainment marqee being put up when we were there but we left before the event.

It is always nice to be able to go for a walk when we travel to Miami and the Lummus is one of the best places to do it quietly, either with your partner as is my case or with friends.

Beach was great and chairs and a towel came with our hotel. Perfect! The beach was nice and not too crowded. Weather was perfect for December and averaged in the mid-70s

Came to Lammus Park and had a wonderful time! Charles was extremely helpful and kind. We are visiting from Tennessee and were really lost. He is a great asset and seems to enjoy his job. This is my second visit and he definitely made it easier to navigate. Keep it up, Charles!

Charlie and Alex from ninth Street were very helpful for the help me set up a Bird show me weather in jetskis and kayaking and water score were located I’m totally gonna be recommending this area to my friends with family thank you.

Great place to visit and relax. I think that rental cashiers with towels and umbrellas are $60 for a full day - if heavy rain they remove them - no refund though.
