Nice square to sit and people watch, find some little trinkets for home and take some photo ops. Basically a place to park yourself and rest your feet. Worth a see.

Beautiful sunsets by the water. Bars everywhere. Entertainment galore. Artist and art galleries abound. Throngs of people.

Always entertaining at sunset! If you don't go to Mallory Square for sunset, you haven't been to Key West!

Our first visit here and the area was nice with a mixture of places and people to see and do. It was a fairly quite tune when we went but it was pleasant

street performer, cruise ship viewing, local shopping; good spot to rest esp. after walking around in the afternoon sun.

Beautiful sunset
Fun place to people watch and see the sunset
Lots of entertainment
Come early gets crowded

The sunset itself was beautiful. Was very disappointed in the lack of performers, entertainment and vendors. Many years ago, the time leading up to sunset was such an interesting and fun atmosphere. Sadly the Mallory Square Sunset "event" is no longer an "event".

We just walked around and enjoyed the sites of the people, birds and the sun and breeze. It is such a delightful place to just relax and enjoy what being on a key west vacation should be "sun & fun" We grabbed a Kermits white chocolate key lime pie and just walked around it was great

Not like it was years ago as far as the vibe, a little more generic and commercialized but the sunset and view are exactly the same as they were years ago. Nice place to bring the kids and fam for something to do.

Lovely sunsets, I can see why it is famous for this. It gets busy at sunset, so get there 30 minutes or earlier if want chance to find a seat on the cement blocks. Best views. Snack vendors and souvenirs available.

Great place for seeing sunset but bring your full cocktail and get there early. It’s an easy walk if you near Duval street!

Love this place for sunset! So many cool street vendors and shops open to walk around in. The physic in the white tent is worth every single penny. She is spot on and has a voice so soft and angelic.

This is the go-to place for sunsets in Key West and it didn't disappoint. Lots of people and action going on. Get there early to get a spot or you will have to stand behind others to get good pics.

Took my now husband here for the first time with my parents. They always have some sort of food vendors and craft vendors at night. It's great to watch the sunset when a ship is not in port. Heaved it and we got great pictures!

The sunset was good just clouds restricted seeing the actual sunset. There were only 2 street entertainers and 6-8 venders selling their wares. Somewhat disappointed

Wow! We loved Mallory Square. Entertainment, food, drinks, ocean, and people watching. Its the hot spot for families to watch the sunset in the evening. There is plenty of room to walk around and take pictures. This is a must do for an evening in Key West.

Still a lot of entertainers working for tips but a bit less special since Cat Man retired, or rather his cats did. A fun transition from daytime activity to nightlife.

This is prime sunset viewing location. There are vendors and street performers about an hour before you to an hour after.
While there is a lot to take in, it is very crowded and you definitely need to keep an eye on your kids and teens. Nearby I saw a young guy approach two teen girls and give them a drink then walk away. He then went back to another guy who had other drinks to “hand out”. There was a girl hanging out in the El Meson De Pepe restrooms and was following people in and out of the ladies room. It was very creepy.

Be sure to go for the sunset celebration. There is something special about so many people standing together to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. There was an entertainer in the Square at night who was fun to watch. We also grabbed an ice cream to top off the evening. It is a great way to wind down at the end of the day.

A great place to see the sunset along with the crowds of people visiting Key West. There are also shops and entertainment. We saw Jase doing his tricks on a unicycle. Plus the sunset was fun. Sadly it went behind a cloud but we still enjoyed it and people watching.

My review might be a bit off due to we visited the area during a rainstorm. We didn't get to see the sunset, none of the street performers were out, and none of the street vendors were there. It was pretty much an empty square. We still did the aquarium and treasure museum but most of what makes this area what it is hyped for is not available during rainy days.

Busy, lots of street musicians and attractions. Come early to get a good seat along the sea wall. Many restaurants nearby.

Bern many a time over the years and enjoyed the atmosphere, the street vendors and the various performing artists. Not much happening last night apart from the amazing sunset, hopefully it comes back to pre-covid levels.

What a beautiful spot to see the sunset. Such a fun experience. I didn’t watch much of the acts that was also going on. I couldn’t get over the sunset.

Get to Mallory Square a couple hours earlier than the sunset if you want to find a seat or see the sunset at all - it seems to disappear earlier than "scheduled" :) We finally made it in time and the sunset itself was absolutely worth it.

It's a great tradition that I hope lasts forever. Plenty of entertainment and sunset. Not too many vendors though such as food, crafts, etc. as I'd like.

It was nice but it was less fun and entertaining (less performers and less shopping stalls) than in past years.

Best place to view the sunset and lots of drink options. Always a favorite every time I've been to Key West. Enjoy!

A trip to Key West for us, always includes a visit to Mallory Square, where we enjoy the beautiful sunsets, and all the entertaining street performers. Our last trip to Mallory Square though, included the unfortunate experience of wasting 20 minutes watching the very unfunny and unentertaining trick (singular) of a magician named Gazzo. He spent his whole act insulting the crowd, and milking out a single card trick. Then when he was done, he actually got offended if he wasn’t tipped, or even if he just felt it wasn’t a large enough tip! I’ve never witnessed a less professional performer! Hopefully Mallory Square can make this hack disappear!

Enjoyable place to watch the sunset around Tank Island and the local performers ply their trade. Fun times

A great place to see the sunset as long as you don't mind sharing that with thousands of others. Make sure there is no cruise ship at the harbor to block your view.

Really, a must-see at Key West. It is a grand site from which to view the sunset and the performers are entertaining. It can be crowded.

A must do while visiting Key West! So much to do and see. Shopping and Dining is a gift. Something for everyone! Enjoy!!

It sounds incredible but it really is the most beautiful sunset in the world as everyone says, it will be the atmosphere of waiting, it will be the many people gathered.... but something magical is really there!

You can spend a day here shopping and going to museums. I was not able to check everything out so I will definitely be back. I did have the chance to try a Cuban coffee which I highly recommend.

I visited Mallory Square with my family during our recent trip to the Keys. We spent the hour before the sunset in the square. It was quite busy and there were a lot of people in the Square. It gave the place a lot of energy. There are also vendors and performers in the square in the hour or so before sunset. Do be aware that after the sunset the traffic leaving Key West gets pretty heavy.
The sunset was really pretty. There were lots of colors and the sail boats on the horizon really added to the view. We enjoyed watching the sunset in Mallory Square.

Wonderful place to hang out, have a drink, eat, meet new people, (which we did), watch a beautiful sunset! Lots of activity down there and lots to do. Can get crowded early, so be sure to get there, I would say, by mid afternoon

Every time I come to Key West I have to come to Mallory Square to celebrate the sunset. In the past, the crowd always applauded when the sun goes down. Not last night - but still a pretty sunset.

The sunset is spectacular with lots of schooners for pictures, some quaint little side shows, performers and artwork to browse. Had a blast! Tried some conch fritters and loved them, by the way don't pronounce it wrong like I did, think konk fritters. Oops, tourist mistakes.

Go to see the performers as much as the watchers while you decide where to eat. Lots of photo opportunities.

Enjoy the scenery but ensure that there are no cruise ships in port if so the view is limited also find parking alternatives by ride share or taxis

beautiful sunset as I remember from past visits but not as many vendors or activities that I remember from past visits

The sunset was the best. Only 2 street performers and a handful of vendors. It was nice walk for the doggies but not a must do for us.

What can I say? Everyone knows that Key West sunsets are amazing! It is also fun to watch the fish grab scrapes from the fishing boat crews.

We always enjoy Mallory Square. We were able to sit in the evening and enjoy watching the Schooner Warf Boat Christmas Parade. The boats were beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and it was fun to see all of the different decorations. There are of course the usual jewelry and other craft vendors and musicians, but hey it is a part of the atmosphere.

Entertaining and beautiful experience to have with young children. Live music every night and entertainers keeping your little ones occupied. Not a lot of people when we traveled April 11-16 and it was great to walk around in the morning with hardly anyone around and as well as after sunset.

Lots of great shops, food, plenty of museums. It is walkable and friendly and I highly recommend it for everyone!

Definitely a must if you ever go to Key West!!! The sunset celebration is full of laughs and all around good vibes!

Large crowds gather to watch the sunset. There were only a few entertainers the evening we went. Nice souvenir shops during the day.

Visited during the off season (and after a hurricane). Walked right up for a great view, enjoyed live music and a rum runner from the bar close to Opal’s Bistro.

Fun place to watch people, see the nice sunset and do a little browsing in the shops. It's crowded when the cruise ships are in port, but the rest of the time, you can wander easily around.

I was back on Key West after 15 years to find out that the hotel prices have increased ridiculously, that the inner city is infested with immoral curb side valet parking services for exorbitant prices, that’s it’s to crowded and that it has transformed from a cosy, liberal town to a sort of luna park. Not my piece of cake.

This is a fun place to take in the beautiful Key West sunset and watch some street performers with quirky talents. A guy was riding a tall unicycle and juggling while we were there. It's all very laid back; there's a small cement wall where you can have a seat. Also food for sale like hot dogs and fresh coconuts. Everyone should come at least once. Our hotel was next door, so we just strolled over, but there is a small paid parking lot if you need it.

Beautiful place to spend several hours with lots to do including the boardwalk around the ocean walls.. the parking lot beside the port is a great starting point!! I’d recommend the museums, aquarium and shops!!

We’d seen reviews saying how wonderful the sunset experience was here because of all the street performers, etc., so we went. (4 adults - 2 couples.) We noticed the day before we planned to go that the closest parking lot was full by 4:30 for a 7:50 sunset, so we went at 4:00pm, because I couldn’t walk very far, especially carrying my folding chair. When we arrived, we were the only ones there, and the street performers started setting up around 5:30 or 6:00pm. The evening started off with a bagpiper, which I’m a fan of, but it seemed out of place in Key West. He also seemed a bit off key. Then the various jugglers, unicyclist, and whip-cracker, tarot reader and psychic set up. (We joked that the psychic set up near the tarot reader to predict what the cards would be.) The performers did very little of their “act” and instead talked about doing it about 70% of the time. This was Easter weekend, so maybe too early in the season for the best performers. Then the sun set. It was nice, but looked like any other sunset I’ve ever seen with a good clear horizon. And we had to be in a big crowd to see it. The places around to eat were slim, so that certainly wasn’t a draw. There were decent, but not wonderful, public restrooms - about what you’d expect at a busy city park. I suspect there are many other places on the island that are better for sunset-watching than this.

Very fun and entertaining for all ages. Can watch the sunset and all the shows for free. Very cool place to visit and if we are in Key West again, we will be back.

It was cloudy and a gloomy but the acts were fun and the atmosphere was eccentric. We will do this again !!

This is the place to watch the beautiful Key West sunsets. Plenty of street entertainment and good restaurants.Salsa music at a Cuban restaurant was an extra bonus.

Such a relaxing way to unwind after a day at the beach. Always a great time! The performers never disappoint.

Waaay too many people to even get a view of the sunset. Everyone standing up and holding up their phones to film the sunset? Not my kind of sunset...seen too many nice ones on a beach to stay for this. Saw a couple entertainers, jugglers etc but walked away to find a less crowded spot. Have been here many times in the past when it was not as busy so I felt I didn't miss anything. First timers, go early to get a spot I guess.

Love Mallory Square every time that I visit! So many people hanging out watching the sunset, street performers and all kinds of great stuff!

Love coming to Mallory Square for the sunset and just watching the different acts , food and people watching

After years of Key West being on my bucket list I was excited to finally visit. Mallory square was on the top of every list I could find as a must do… with people raving about the performers. The sunset was pretty but there aren’t any performers. I’m not sure what happened but this is NOT a “sunset celebration”. We kept waiting for something to happen but there was only one sad/aggressive performer that honestly made me feel uncomfortable.
Disappointing.
Grab a drink and watch the sun elsewhere.

You can go to Mallory Square through Harbor Walk. It is nice place for watching sunset. very safe and clean.

Fun time seeing the sunset with a group of people. Drinks, hot dogs, fun! We had a few clouds near the horizon but the experience was well worth it!

This is the place to go for sunsets in Key West. It has a small pay to park parking lot so get here early if you need a space. The views are fantastic whether you see a great sunset or not. The area is kept fairly clean and there are public restrooms in the area.

If you go to Key West, you Must Do Mallory Square. It's not an option. It's required. It's too much fun to miss.
That said, it's not especially magical. Or compelling. I don't need to do it again. Depending on the weather, you get a very nice sunset. You can sit and hope to see the mythical Green Flash. The sunset-cruise sailboats, backdropped by the sunset, are always beautiful.
But the magic of Mallory Square is repeated in almost every tourist destination--wherever the ubiquitous street performers perform, wherever jugglers juggle, wherever buskers busk.
Have fun. It's really a terrific event. It's repeated every single night. And the people-watching can't be beat.
Hints? Just the obvious ones: Hang onto your wallet. And don't park in an illegal parking spot. And if you *do* park in an illegal spot, don't be surprised if your car isn't there when you go back. (Hint #2: It wasn't stolen.)
Hope this helps!

This is the location where everyone comes to celebrate the sunset in Key West. It was fun on my past visits as the square had a multitude of street performers… everything from fire eaters & wire walkers to musicians.. on this occasion, I witnessed only one guitar player.. very disappointed! Considering there are thousands of visitors that are there to enjoy the festivities & sunset, it didn’t make any sense!

One of the best places to catch the sunset! My wife and I walked up like 30 minutes before sunset and were able to get a good spot. If there’s too many people here you can walk down the boardwalk for 5 minutes and get another good view, tons of space to get a good view of the sunset. They have street performers and a bunch of gift shops so it’s a great place for a walk.

This is a place to see sunsets and acts. The acts are few because KW does not have affordable rentals for workers.

My daughter and I were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset from Mallory Square. We also enjoyed the street entertainment and vendors. A fun evening!

Fun at the 1/2 marathon and a 70th birthday. Mallory Sq. is beautiful. Had dinner, drinks, and sunset. Nirvana.

Nice view of sunset. Great atmosphere, clean and safe. It was easy to walk there and go to nearby restaurants for dinner

Something fun to do in the evening. Just going down to watch them sunset. It doesn't seem like much but it is an experience. Many things to see and do. Just relax and enjoy with friends and family.

It's a tradition to watch the sunset from Mallory Square and people SHOW UP!! The place got packed, quickly so grab a seat and enjoy the show. I'm a people watcher so I was able to sort of stand back and watch the crowd. Seats are limited as everyone crowds for a seat along the pier, which is the best view. But it's worth it. The sky was filled with every color of the rainbow and a sailboat or the occasional pirate ship would sail by for the best photo opportunity to take home and remember this day. There were all kinds of street vendors selling crafts, drinks, snacks, doing magic tricks or playing instruments to keep us entertained, as if the amazing sunset wasn't enough!

A great sunset. To top off a day of distraction and getting to know the charming city of Key West to the fullest

So you go to Mallory Square for the sunset festival only to discover that the daily cruise ships BLOCK 95% of the view of the sunset. Yes it’s that stupid. It isn’t just a tourist trap, it’s entirely completely a tourist trap.

The place to be for a Key West sunset. There is so much going on in Mallory Square for the sunset celebration each and every night. Street performers, vendors, and mother nature’s spectacular performance. Do not visit Key West without at least one sunset in Mallory Square!

Located near the cruise terminal, this is an awesome place to relax or hang out in. Very clean, nearby restrooms. Highly recommended!

Be sure and enjoy the sunset AND the street performers! Very funny and extremely talented people. Tip Tip Tip

Perfect place to experience sunset with a crowd. Get there at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want a closer view. The street performers are fun to watch and you can bring a drink from Duval street if you want. We Took an Uber to Duval Street and spent the afternoon and this was the end of the day for us.

One of the perfect places to see a sunset is Mallory Square. A place that is very busy after 5:00pm, small street businesses full of flavor and colours. In addition, there are a variety of art shows and entertainment.

...the square is especially crowded when cruise ships arrive. For that reason, I find the prices of clothing and souvenirs to be a over priced. You can find better deals along Duval St if you take the time to walk away from the square. I visited during the day and the evening. There is free entertainment (like juggling acts, musicians, etc) and it is the perfect place to watch a sunset.

Went to Shipwreck museum and the Aquarium. Very interesting history with both. If you buy both you get a deal.

Besides the spectacular sunsets(make sure to have your cameras!), the street entertainers are fun and quite entertaining! If you are lucky enough, which we were, 1 of the many sailboats that are out, will pass in front of the sun as it's setting, which makes for SPECTACULAR pictures!

A great place to watch cruise ships arrive, if they let them in, the sunsets are awesome and watching people is always a great place to do it.

Beautiful location with amazing sunset experience. Plenty to do - eat, watch the sunset, people watch, enjoy street entertainers.

Lots of vendors selling merchandise and food and drinks also plenty of entertainment and beautiful sunset,

Visited Mallory Square to wave goodbye to the sunset is a part of the Key West experience. The iguanas and chickens were nice to see walking around. But the crafters and other vendors will have wares that can be bought as well as the street performers add to the experience.

We did the obligatory sunset in Mallory Sq while visiting Key West. It's probably the most overdone thing there but the sunset was beautiful. There were a variety of vendors and street performers in the area before and after the sunset.

Dusk gathers hundreds of people in Mallory Square, which is one of the hottest areas in Key West. The name is quite appropriate because there, sunset is truly a celebration

What a happy place! Every (nice) evening there are jugglers, magicians, vendors, and lots of happy people celebrating the beautiful end to a beautiful day. Very family-friendly... loved seeing all of the laughing children.

Action packed square. Plenty of good shopping, restaurants, and things to do. Every evening there is a sunset celebration with street performers.

Based on prior reviews, we went early and snagged a seat at the Opal Key restaurant with a view. There is also an upstairs seating area, but we were hungry and opted for the waterfront dining. Service was excellent, and food and drinks were fantastic. They timed the food service until right after sunset so as not to disturb our viewing. Wonderful experience!

Mallory Square is known for its sunset celebration, offering beautiful views as the sunsets. Many people gather to watch the sunset, so arrive within a reasonable time as it does get crowded

Barry M said it all about Mallory Square. So sad after 32 year tradition of coming to Keywest, first time grandkids in tow. Very little for kids to do so Sunset at Mallory was going to be a highlight....wrong. I did find out Catman retired, he was the best. I feel sorry for anyone looking forward to going there, NO VIBE.

This is not usually a place I would enjoy, maybe because it’s not quite the busy season, so it was quite manageable. Came here twice for the sunset (get there early if there are clouds on the horizon as you won’t see the sunset over the water but a little earlier when it goes behind the clouds). Lots of people gather and some push up to the front of the railing, but I stool back a little from the crowds and got beautiful photos over their heads. It clears out quickly and is a calm place to relax and people watch.

Stop here to catch the sunset like everyone else! The square is right along the water and there are plenty of spots to sit and watch the sunset. It does get busy so if you want a front row view, get there at least 35 minutes before the sunset to claim your spot. They have local vendors selling tourist items and hotdogs also street performers are there too.

Great atmosphere, lots of shops and things to see. The sunset over the water was wonderful. Merchants were friendly.

Enjoyed the sunset celebration and all the street and food vendors... what a way to celebrate the sunset.... It was breath taking

We parked here in a city lot for $6ph, plus a $1.20 fee. Put your tag number in and they take credit cards. Walk to the water and this is where the sun goes down, but the rest of the day there are shops, stores and fun things to do - you can also buy trolley ride on tour tickets here!

This place comes alive as the sun sets, around 7:30. People collect, street entertainment, souvenirs, and a conch horn indicates sunset is over. Arrive early to secure a seat on the sea wall.

Lots of good restaurants and bars in the area. Great place for a sunset just as long as it isn't Spring Break

We always go to Mallory square to watch the amazing sunsets. It’s always a great party. Food vendors and entertaining is always amazing.

Mallory Square is a true gem in Key West! The nightly sunset celebrations are a must-see. And the stunning sunset itself created an unforgettable atmosphere for us. If you're visiting, make sure not to miss it!

This area is perfect for people watching and shopping. Food options are everywhere along with bars. Lots of parking available. This is the place to visit when in Key West

Wonderful view of the world famous Key West sunset but the area is understandably overcrowded .... reduces your view and ability to get a good keep sake photograph.

Picturesque and quirky. Lots of variety but the best part is the sunset with hundreds of other people! Fun ambiance. Worth doing!

We walked down to the square and not much has changed since our last visit about 10 years ago. Good for walking and people watching.

It's simply the most important thing to do when coming to this town. Head over to Mallory Square at least 30 minutes before sunset, sit on the little wall looking over the sea and west (of course!). Then wait to be inspired and enthralled with the daily show that follows. We were particularly lucky. Not a cloud in the sky.
On the evening we were there we only had one busker close by who was strumming some pleasant music. All fantastic. There's nothing more to say...

We got the last parking spot (pay by 30 minutes at machine with credit), and enjoyed great Cuban food (empanadas!) and live music. Sunset was beautiful. Many people and performers

Great area to watch the sunset, cruise ships, and people. Awesome food and shopping spot. Fun vendors and great views. Love it here

If you want to see the prettiest sunsets on Key West, this is the place to be. You will also experience local talent, crafts people and some unique food.

We were here for the races, so it was pretty busy, but we did enjoy what we came for. Many vendors, extreme prices, but depending on what you like, and want to see, it's probably there.

Such a special place, great vibe, street vendors, spectacular sunset views, good festivals are held here so check during your trip

The big draw here is the sunset. Though very nice, I've seen better. The quirkiness of the characters around the area - the physics, tarot card readers, performers - does make for a very interesting evening of people watching.

This is a Must Visit place on the island, the westernmost point. While it has served as a dock and connection to the water for 200 years, it is also the best place on the island to see the sun setting into the Gulf of Mexico and every night will provide you the chance to see it. Again, you can visit anytime but you will really want to see at sunset.
We visited on our first evening after dinner just before sunset. While there is a carnival happening in the square before sunset, we were really here to see the sunset. The colors and the way the sun sinks into the water make this a great place to see a sunset, best on the key. The next day we had the chance to see the square from the water on our ferry ride to and from Dry Tortugas. However, the best way to see the square is at sunset. It is magical.

Free entertainment with a beautiful backdrop. Come an hour before the sun sets, grab a beverage and watch the show. Bring a few dollars for tip money.

Mallory Square is unique to Key West in that it is a gathering spot in which to view the sunset, with street performers, food carts and vendors. Every evening people, mostly tourists, congregate to watch the sunset. Of course, there are other viewing spots, in Luda to sea, but this has become a Key West tradition. Worth doing maybe once!

A great place for watching the sun set and enjoy seeing people from all over. My wife and I enjoyed drinks, music and sunsets from the nearby Sunset Pier.

In addition to being a site to watch a beautiful sunset this location gives an insight to visitors on typical life in Key West. Due to its popularity the number of tourists far outweigh the local population.
Munir D.

Fun end to a day of enjoying Key West! Beautiful sunsets with performers doing their thing along the brick square. Great place to take pictures with sailboats on the horizon of sunset.

I had researched this Square and hoped that there was more to see such as street performers, vendors etc. but there weren't but a few. Never the less, the sunset was gorgeous and was packed with people!

Location is great as it’s near restaurants and the water, but would like to see different items for sale. Seems like every shop had the same things and all charged different prices for the exact same item. Would like to see more local items.

The entertainment is eclectic and fun! The snow cones are yummy, especially when it’s hot. The view with water/sail boats is serene. And if you walk to the pier and find a seat for the sunsets you’ll be forever in love with the view and the beauty of God’s art work. You can get award worthy photos of the sunsets and soak in the calming and soul soothing atmosphere. Mallory Square is a “must do” while in Key West.

Definitly a must, make sure to grab a seat at the pier as it does get very busy!
Very nice athmosphere with shows and lots of little stalls with souveniers.
Maybe try and get a drink by one of the cafes overlooking the ocean...

Mallory Square is a cool place to be lots of folks like to grab a front row seat to the sunset although no view is a bad view from Key West.

We went to Mallory Square with the crowds to see the sunset over Sunset Key, since it seemed like a thing we had to do. To be honest - it wasn't all that special. There were some generic street performers as the sun went down and sidewalk carts where we picked up some ice cream. Go if you must, but I had more fun up on Duval Street listening to music.

Really nice place to see the sunset. Beautiful, lots of people, restaurants and shops right there. It's a cool place.

Mallory square is always fun , you get free street shows , so your being entertain just before the sun go down.

Mallory Square delivers on the Trip Advisor tip. We went there and enjoyed the restaurants, shopping, and perusing the harbor, and just enjoyed the whole experience of being in Key West. So much to do in the Mallory Square area. Very friendly people and easy access for all pedestrians. Wish we could be there more often.

The evening sunset views were spectacular! So great that every night is beautiful, but different. So worth getting the opportunity to do this.

Lovely view of sunset. A bit crowded. Lots of vendors. Parking can be a challenge so plan ahead. Walk or bike if you are able.

Obviously the sunset is the main attraction in Mallory square. The “celebration” is not much to be excited about. The local vendors were not that great.

The entertainers are dwindling and it's not like it used to be for the sunset celebration. It's still a great experience but not quite as rowdy and upbeat as in the past. Get there EARLY to get a decent spot to view the sunset otherwise you'll be looking at the back of people's heads.

For a ‘must go to’ place I can’t see why. Seen far better sunsets along the Keys than here and not a lot else to see. Could have saved my blistered feet the extra steps and been far happier!

Did the Mallory Square Sunset 23 years ago. The crowd was very pleasantI and excited as I was to watch the sun go below the horizon. We all cheered again when it slipped back into the ocean. It was great. The square is diffent than before. Much nicer friendlier and as always relaxed. You can't go all that way and not watch the sunset at least once.

No doubt about it, you must go here to see the performers at sunset. Quiet during the day and hopping at sunset. Do not miss this one.

Great view of the gorgeous sunset on the edge of the water! This is the perfect place in Key West to view the sunset and watch the boats coming and going from the island.

Here you can enjoy a great atmosphere and, above all, the sunset. Whether this place is really the most beautiful for the sunset in Key West is something everyone has to decide for themselves. A stroll through the area is definitely worth it.

A must do in Key West. Arrive an hour and a half or so before sunset to enjoy the entertainers then a breath taking sunset. Don’t be late or you’ll miss it.

We arrived at sun set to see the show and there was only 2 performers there.
Also they were not good at all. We haven't been there for a few years and will probably never go back. We were very disappointed and so were are guest and kids

The place was packed, you could barely get a spot to see the sunset. We avoided it at sunset after the first day. Some fun vendors set up there if you want to buy some local stuff.

Great place to view the sunset, walk around, buy things, and EAT! There are a lot of street performers and artists selling their work. There are lots of vendors selling all kinds of food. Everyone gathers around close to sunset time to get an amazing shot of the sunset. Cool little spot to walk around and chill.

It was great many years ago and went down the last couple trips. This year was far better so hope it keeps going.

This is a must if you visit Key West. Being by the water, looking at the boats and birds while experiencing a marvellous sunset!!!

We came here one of the nights of our trip just because everyone raved about it. This was a beautiful place for a sunset, but is overrated - it is crowded, there weren't as many entertainers as expected, parking is difficult, and the sunset is actually blocked by Sunset Key. If you want a better sunset, drive up to Seven Mile bridge and you'll have absolutely glorious views without the crowds (just arrive early for parking).

The perfect place to discover the sunset of the Keys. The show is beautiful but watch out for the crowd that rushes from the end of the day.

Parking is crazy expensive. Stunt show guy made inappropriate comments for kids. Bathrooms were the most disgusting I've ever seen.

The view is lovely if you’re early. If not, you’ll find yourself in a crowd of hundreds of people all vying for the best picture angle. If successful, the view is worth it, but if you’re with kids or a large group, maybe try to be a few hours early or have someone or a group save places for everyone.

There are a lot of people here for a festive time, but for a great sun set, take a picnic and go to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park.

Mallory Square an hour before sunset is a must! The street performers were exciting and friendly. The sunset......the pictures don't do it justice.

Not what it used to be. Pre covid this was a buzz of energy and creative street performers. We went in a Sunday and saw two very mediocre artists who were more bitter than anything else. Could be the times and I get that! I was nostalgic for the old days as I am sure they are too!
The crowds were more about drinking than the sunset and experience. It was sad to see the shift. It was such a cool creative space at one point.

What a great time with the entertainment at Mallory Square! Great evening! We went here after our Sunset Cruise.

Sunset party every night. Street entertainers. Lots of food and drink trucks. Walk down, or if your hotel is too far there is a parking garage nearby for &5/hr. Exit to garage gets busy right after sunset.
Some restaurants and shops are nearby too. I loved the square with busts of the people who have made Ket West what it is. The square is in fact named after one of those women. See if you can find her in this area.

Always a great place for entertainment and views of the sunset. New vendors have unique pieces of art and skills. Always a good revisit for the regular street acts too

The night we visited Mallory Square the sunset wasn’t as spectacular but we enjoyed visiting the area. The number of people really builds until the sun goes down and while it was crowded it didn’t feel obnoxious or uncomfortable. Once the sun completely disappeared many people started clapping. It’s not something I would do every night in Key West but I am glad we got to experience it.

Plenty of shops and bars and places to eat.
A lot of history in this area of Key West and they say the Sunsets are very nice but it was cloudy so I will have to revisit soon

So much going on at Mallory Square. A definite must visit for first time in KW. Lots of artists and beautiful views

near sunset ... Ocean boats sailing, art on display, short shows to see. all at a cost of nothing unless u want a souvenir or something to eat or drink

Sunset is the time to go, everyone will tell you that, and it is true. It is beautiful and people watching is fun. There are street performers and vendors and a basic air of a street fair every night. Enjoying a rum drink while the sun goes down is part of the spirit of Key West.

Best place to see the best sunsets, even when crowded, it was worth the trip~
Great shopping in the area.

If you like to be in crowded, loud areas to celebrate the sun setting this place is your spot. To me, it was a let down. There are many other beautiful and creative spots to see sunsets in Key West.

If you are planning to visit Mallory square, go at sunset. There are several vendors set up and the sunsets over the water are beautiful.

A tradition for us is to go to Mallory Square to view the beautiful Key West sunset at least once during our time there.
Go at least an hour (or more) to view and enjoy the performers/vendors before finding a good seat for viewing. This location get crazy busy closer to sunset every night of the week!!!!!!!

Gerat place to watch the sunset in our southern most state. Street entertainers extraordinaire. Watch for the colorful roosters and don't be surprised to have a wake up call from them. Lots of sunset cruise boats passing by. SteveCindy USA

Mallory Square is an interesting place. About an hour before sunset, there are vendors, artists, and entertainers that really detract from the sunset experience. We moved south along the water to avoid these and still be able to watch the sunset.

of course ,it was Sunday ,busy and crowded ,the weather was wonderful ,had wonderful time with the family and the kids

the sunset in Mallory Square is the most gorgeous sunset i have ever seen in my whole life. A lot of people go there to see it every night. I go at least twice while in Key west, leaves you feeling in awe it is so breath taking!

Enjoy the sunset here and have fun waiting for it… lots of entertainment on the square; magician’s, card hustlers, music and food! Just a fun time!

A great distraction while waiting for the sun to set. Lots of street performers, magicians, fire juggling, artists. Great place to have a drink a stroll around while the sun is setting.

Entertaining, vendors were a tad overpriced… the street preformed were amusing. Of course the sunset was spectacular

Worth doing at least once. The area is festive & fun with street performers & tourists. The people watching is great & the party barges cruising by is entertaining as well. The view of the sunset is nice but get there early if you want a seat on the sea wall.

Mallory Square was exceptional. The sunsets were beautiful and the gathering of everyone at the pier left me speechless.

We came to the square to watch the sunset and see the festivities. There were performers, vendors and just a bunch of people to all watch the sunset. a good time and a beautiful sunset.

We visited Mallory Square for the sunset festival. First of all be aware that it really doesn’t start setting up until 5 PM. The area around the Square is dirty and depressing. We didn’t even hang around for the sunset, because we just wanted to get out of the area.

Fun place filled with street performers, but the #1 star is the sunset, grab a drink and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to watch the sunset. Local entertainment and desserts. Definitely a place to visit whilst in Key West.

Come her every evening to check out the sunset. Street performers, shops, and people watching galore.

We went right at dusk before sunset! I can't tell you how happy my friends and I were to have experienced such a beautiful sunset! What an experience!

Be sure to be there by sunset so you will see it all, not very big and a little hard to find but that is a good thing.

Only two street performers and a couple of food carts. Probably nicer for viewing the sunset, but less interesting in general.

If you like to shop, if you like to eat, if you like to relax, you will enjoy walking Mallory Square at the end of Duval Street in Key West. The area is very clean (except for street repairs) and I felt very safe in this area even when alone.

Check what time the sunset is when you are there and head to the square half an hour before for the best location to admire and take fantastic sunset photos
In 10 minutes you will see the sun go down quickly on the horizon
Entertainment

Lots of good food and bars. Lived the ambiance. Roosters everywhere. I loved the art. Walkable. Empty when cruise ships not in port

It's a must do when in Key West! We made sure to schedule our dinner before sunset. We took some great pictures and met some great people. Don't miss it!!

Visited in the evening. It was okay, nothing else to do with younger kids really. Mix of dumpy tshirt shops, higher end stores, skanky lingerie shops and ice cream stands. Nothing special.

Mallory Square is of course a spectacular attraction at any sunset and accordingly always full. You should definitely go there already at 17:00 and find a place in the bars or on the quay.

Amusing people to watch! Beautiful sunsets, clean, safe and did I mention very entertaining? Stop by around sunset if the opportunity presents itself!

The sunset is unforgettable! There are street artists who cheer up the wait and you can cool off with great sales in nearby kiosks

We have been to Key West many times, but not for a few years. No one should miss the sunset at Mallory Square. Grab some conch fritters, settle yourself on the sea wall, and watch the big yellow sun dip below the horizon. The sight always has enthralled me and always will.

Quaint place with shops and historic houses. It was hot and humid the streets were quiet. We stopped in a few of the old shops and bars. I was not impressed.

We really enjoyed this place. So much to do and see. Close to many museums, bathrooms, restaurants, souvenir shops and ocean view...it was a great experience

As someone who lives on the west coast of Florida, seeing sunsets is nothing new - but it’s still with stopping in Mallory Square to people watch and see the performers.

The sunsets from Mallory Square are fantastic but also interesting are the street performers. We especially enjoyed the sword/knives juggler.

I guess everyone has to go there once, but 5 minutes was more than enough for me.
It’s like a mini Times Square w water views. Crowds, street performers, drunk people….
The sunset was hard to see with 100s of people there. And getting a picture without strangers in it was impossible.
The boardwalk in front of the USCGC Ingham has the same view without any crowds. Fort Zachary has the same view from a slightly different angle and no crowds either.

Mallory square is full of interesting shops.
It is well laid out and picturesque too.
It is also the starting and end point of the trolley bus tour.

We Love Key West. We always spend time in Mallory Squre each visit. The Musicians, the Atmosphere, The Sunset Views, and of course, Ice Cold Beers.

Jesse Mock, slight of hand Magician was astounding!
Ya hear that Penn & Teller..? Ge this guy on Fool Us and be fooled.

Beat shopping area in Key West. We jumped on the Conch Train from here. I would definitely recommend this as a visit for the area.

Much needed getaway. Great conversations and great tour guides . Many things to see and 4 days was plenty. We wished that we had rented Golf cart

You have to stop by Mallory Square for the sunset celebration at least once during your trip. Festive atmosphere with pop up food and drink. It was crowded but not too bad. We were able to sit on the wall along the water and get a great view and great pictures.

The square is filled with great entertainment and shops. The boardwalk is fun anytime of the day. Many good restaurants to choose from. Lovely!

Went on April 25 to watch the Conch Republic boat parade. So fun! Area was a bit crowded, but actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Wonderful sunset with the variety of old vessels.

Of course one comes for the sunset, but the "freshly made while you watch/wait " Guacamole wasn't too bad either as an accompaniment. Lines form though, and making Guacamole from scratch does take some time, so start thinking about it well before, or after, sunset - although I noticed that there were no lines at all "during"!

It gets very crowded so get there early & claim a spot as best you can. Highly recommend a visit to the coconut guy, make sure you have some napkins or a wet paper towel it gets sticky. Nothing better than drinking direct from a fresh coconut.

Planned and waited for sunset and "festival". Way over
related. Sunset was not better than many especially those on West Coast of US. Festival was non-starter and only a few craft sellers and local street performers. Wish I had no wasted time here.

We began our first nigh in Key West with island beverages in Mallory Square, delighting in the sunset and relaxing immediately into the "vibe." We loved Conch Republic Seafood Restaurants and the lovely shops there as well.

You've made the long trip over all the bridges, beautiful blue waters, to KW!!
Time for a beautiful, majestic reward SUNSET!

Beautiful sunset at Mallory square. We sat on the pier to view. It gets crowed so I'd advise going early to get your perfect spot. They serve drinks and food at the pier

Lots of people have already reviewed sunset at Mallory Square.... so I will just add 2 things that I noticed.
1. The spots to sit along the edge of the pier fill up very early. If you want to sit down, you'll have to get there more than an hour before sunset. We didn't find a spot right along the edge at the square, so we walked across the bridge and found a standing spot along the railing in front of the restaurant that is there.
2. It is hard to come by drinks while you're standing out waiting for the sunset, so I would make sure you bring one with you or grab one before you secure your spot. ;)

Absolutely beautiful. We went just before sunset. We saw performers doing whatever they do. Boats all over. We stood on a walking bridge to watch the sunset, when we thought the sun was down (behind a key) we went to look for ice cream. We found the perfect spot to watch the rest of sunset.

Fun time. Lots to do. Gorgeous sunsets there. The roosters are nice to see wandering around the town streets. The acrobat’s also do a lot of activities that are entertaining.

We attended the Sunset Celebration and it was a lot of fun. The weather was cool so there wasn't a big crowd in attendance. Still, there was great food, drinks, music, and entertainment. Would highly recommend!

It was about what I expected…very honky tonky . It was a bucket list item and I’m glad I got to see it. Some beautiful areas but in season very crowded. I doubt I would go back but if I did would take a boat instead of the drive. While the drive was pretty it was tedious and took 6 hours with traffic from Naples.

This nightly ritual is a must do while in Key West. Everyone gathers to enjoy entertainment by local street performers as the sun is setting on another beautiful day in Key West. There are vendors selling drinks and local artists with items for sale. Very fun way to start your evening!

Entertainers included jugglers and throwing firesticks, artists selling photos and paintings, a few vendors selling smoothies, etc.,

Always great sunset weather permitting love the festivities and the shopping and venders and food.We have been lucky to see this beautiful place serveral times and will continue to visit .Will always enjoy the area and entertainment.

A great place to see a Key West sunset. Luis, a local painter, shows his art in the square. We purchased two perfect small pieces of art to remember our visit.

Mallory Square is an awesome location to people watch and enjoy street performers; there is a website that is dedicated to showing you the history, and to present the current street performers. The important thing is the schedule, as they do not perform everyday.

Fun to see the street performers but the sunset was blocked by Sunset Key. Somewhat crowded, but still is a bucket list place to experience. Better sunsets at Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach or the navy pier 1/4 west of Mallory Square.

We went to Mallory Square several nights to catch some local performers and to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. There was always something happening in the square, on the water and in the sky. The square gave us one of Key West’s many vibrant experiences. One should go there at least for one sunset.

Went for the shipwreck museum, but the square itself was nothing special, the shops were mainly the same old tourist type a couple of more unusual and that was it.
Not a lot for food options, no food quarter and loads of roadworks going on.
Appears the only reason for fame is take a sunset picture with 100s of other people
No thanks

You have to come here to catch the famous Key West sunset! Arrive early to see the street performer shows. Fabulous entertainers and a wonderful sunset! GetSome!!

If it is hot the cement is hot to sit on and after all day in the sun makes it hard to sit on hot cement. Better sunsets at Ft. Zachary and there are places to sit. Fee entertainment is good, there was performer that was racially degrading so we refused to listen to his sarcasm. Fun to do.

We enjoyed the shopping experience, and of course, the sunset. However, some of the vendors were pushy and the crowds require that you arrive early if you want to see the sunset unobstructed. It is a must as part of the Key West experience, but likely not the best spot to actually see the sunset.

Don't miss it! This was a very fun event on the waterfront! Enjoyed the entertainment, the sunset, ocean view, and vendors! A lot of fun

So cool and beautiful! We went at noon so no sunset for us, but wow the view and atmosphere is amazing! The market was an added bonus we did t expect and found some good stuff there! We had kids but I hear the night life is amazing…next time!

Love visiting Mallory square for sunset at least once on each trip to Key West. Get there early and enjoy the street performers. Lots of people there in a festive atmosphere.

A lovely place to shop, grab a bite to eat or watch the sunset. From novelty gifts, and souvenirs to beautifully handcrafted goods, Mallory Square offers something for everyone in one vibrant and majestic setting. Lovely atmosphere.

Nice entertainment. Enjoyed the water. Music was good. Very good vibe at mallory. Enjoyed the tight rope act. Great day in Keywest!

I was not impressed with Mallory Square at all, not much but trinket stores and sub-par food options

Mallory square is a nice area on the water. They had some artists and others selling stuff. It wasn’t much though. The main thing that Mallory Square is known for is that it is a good place to watch the sunset. There are many places to watch a sunset but this is the biggest area. We went there several times during our visit and there just wasn’t much going on.

Went there like the rest of the world to see the sunset which was very crowded, get there at noon for the best wait for it pic. Street Performers were added attraction, all in all just do it!

Just walking around checking here checking there....cute place to capture a few tourists photos and enjoying feeding chickens

This is just a tourist trap mall for the Cruise ships. Everything was way over priced and nothing good I personal wouldn't bother

had a great time watching the sunset. Would highly recommend Sloppy Joes for food and libations........

This is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Super fun street performers, cute market, and walking distance to the action of downtown.

Mallory Square has an amazing variety of offerings. The street-performers are hilarious and the musicians dotted around the area give such a welcoming ambiance. The water views are hypnotizing. The vendors offer food, jewelry, fortune tellers, and art.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Was hoping for a great sunset but the island off the coast kinda steals it as you can't see the sun go down into the water, that was a bummer. Fun atmosphere, street performers, the usual vendors, crowds, etc

Was not as promoted. Entertainment was not as good as we expected. Not worth the hype of sunset. Grab some drinks somewhere and enjoy sunset. Even better option is take a sunset sail or boat ride.

Everyone must experience this sunset ritual at least once in their life. The atmosphere is unique. Get there about 1 hour before the actual sunset. Good luck with parking. The prices are insane!!

KEY WEST - Meeting point in the late afternoon...a little crowded and full of vendors, but the view is beautiful at dusk. There are usually shows around on the weekends.

The sunset was incredible. The street performers and vendors added to the experience. Close by parking can be challenging but this is worth the walk

Great for sunset watchers, You can't help but enjoy the Mallory Square vibe. The street performers entertain all ages.

We went to Mallory Square for the sunsets. They were good, don't get me wrong, but I could have done without all the people. It was crowded and loud.

We came here twice out of the four nights we were on the island. It was definitely a nice place to see the sunset. There was a long stretch of concrete for people to sit along. The breeze was nice. It was quite relaxing to wait for the sunset while watching the people on the square and the boats on the water. There were also performers and street vendors. I wish there were more though. I remember at least a few vendors selling paintings, shells with names, and jewelry. There were also vendors selling conch fritters, hotdogs, popcorn, and snow cones. There were 2 performers - a juggler "on wheels" and a musician (that's it). And there was also a preacher speaking on salvation. Farther away from the water but still on the square was a souvenir shop selling shirts, mugs, ornaments, magnets, etc. I was looking for a rooster shirt and found one there for $11. I also purchased a simple rooster mug. The souvenirs were reasonably priced. Next to the shop was a bar with a band playing Salsa and "Santana like" music. Parking was like everywhere else... expensive ($5 per hour)!

Beautiful little area with shops for tourists. We hit up the Shell warehouse and went to the aquarium.

Sunset was absolutely best I have ever seen. The shops are very nice and the boats and condo's were stunning! Don't forget the ice cream shop!

A variety of street performers, local artist and musicians make this sunset location a favorite. Go early it can get crowded. Make a reservation at the waterfront restaurants to enjoy a special treat.

Fantastic Sunset, and some very colorful street performers. Kevin was one of the best performers, Adult jokes but still kid friendly. A must to go to at Sunset in Key West.

Nice sunset. Crowded. Street vendors and performers. It seems like a ‘must go’ once. Lots of fish and a nearby restaurant. Good people watching!

We got there early and waited quite a long time to see two underwhelming acts. All the touristy shops and restaurants at Mallory Square can be found elsewhere on Duval Street. As for the sunset, it was not even close to being one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. If I were to go to Key West again, I would skip this whole area.

A beautiful, must see location when visiting Key West! The sunsets each night were breathtaking and so was the overall feeling of Mallory Square with so much to see and do

So much to see! Be sure to stick around after sunset, as most of the vendors and acts are just getting started at that time. Stroll around and enjoy the fun.

Was great experience, just very crowded. In order to see the sunset had to ignore all the cameras up in front of you

Lots of shopping. Not crowded. Beautiful views. Live music everywhere. Safe must see sunsets. It is the place to be. Parking is a bit hard but there is a little known public parking ramp literally right in the heart of it. We parked in the ramp 3 times and walked everywhere.

This is a great place to gather amongst all the other tourists to see the sunset. The square has restaurants and street entertainers and is worth a visit.

You have to visit Mallory Square for sunset at least once if you visit Key West. There are tons of great shops nearby, the food is incredible and the performers are some of the best we've seen. Find the Conch food truck by the aquarium for the best fritters on the island.

Great place to watch the sunset, but find a spot early as it is very crowded. There weren't as many street performers as I was expecting but the ones who were there were very talented and entertaining.

Mallory square is beautiful place to be at sunset! The water and the view is just beautiful! Cool people all around there! They have food and drinks, music, and jewelry plus good vibes! Key West is such an amazing place!

Beautiful location to listen to music and watch the sunset, Mallory Square shopping close by as well- can start to walk the historic seaport from here as well.

You can’t visit Key West without going to Mallory Square to see a sunset. Breathtaking!
Live bands and drinks and beautiful sunsets- what more could you ask for!

Full of interesting people and performers. Had some of the best conch fritters from the food stand there! The sauce was amazing and when we had to go to an atm for cash he gave us the fresh fritter first! Wonderful place for the sunset and people watching.

Got there a little early so we enjoyed dinner and drinks at the cuban restaurant adjacent to the square. GREAT FOOD! Spectacular sunset...don't miss this in Key West!

In the many travel guides seen that you have to watch the sunset here. So I did this twice. Funny, about half an hour before the moment it gets busier and busier. But what an experience this is, beautiful!! First time suffering from some clouds, then the weather was better and absolutely a must see when you are in Key West

We only made it to Mallory Square for the sunset celebration one night and we were so glad we did. We got there an hour or so early just to get good seating down by the sea wall and were glad we did. The sunset was obviously beautiful, but it was a really fun vibe down there, too. We enjoyed chatting with the people seated around us and the live music was awesome. There were lots of vendors and food stalls--very much a carnival vibe. I'd highly recommend it as a must do in Key West--we only wish we had gotten there more than once!

This is a great area for a lot of adventures. Restaurants, museums, shopping, beautiful water views.

The square itself is not that special, but the sunset view is totally Key West!!! Nightime parking is difficult, but daytime you can find a spot no problem.

All that is great about Key West is in this square. Really just an open public space that is enjoyed by all, especially during the time before the sunset. The street entertainers are wonderful and do make sure to give them a generous tip as they are exceptionally good at the craft and keep kids and adults entertained. Then, just observe and soak in nature's beautiful show at sunset in all shades of orange, red, yellow and more. This is the essence of Key West.

As recommended, it was a lovely place to see the sunset. The street performers were very entertaining.

There is not a better place on Key West to view the awesome specter of the setting sun over the ocean. We had a table right on the ocean rail and ordered drinks and a couple of sandwiches to share. It was worth the price to have an uninterrupted view.

We got here at a good time. We came with everyone else for the sunset. Thankfully, we stood a bit farther down do it was less crowded and a great spot.

Other than the view that’s about it. Two ice creams single scoop in a cup $14. Jesus, people need locking up for those prices. Exploitation of customers won’t get them them to come back or speak highly of places

Very nice shops and bar/grill. Close to Duval St and other historical sites. Trolly bus stops at this location

Quite a touristy spot with so-so busking entertainment at sunset. Some of the performers have been there for decades. Time for some new acts!

Why would anyone visit Key West and not visit Mallory Square for a sunset or two. There's plenty to do and see while waiting on the sun to set and the sunset itself is well worth the wait.

We went to see the street performers. Some very talented and entertaining performers there. Totally recommend. It’s a once in a lifetime experience!!!

Nothing to see except tourists... it's a place with a view of the water, unless a luxury cruiser is in the harbour right now... then there's nothing to see

While staying in Key West for a week we visited Mallory Square multiple times leading up to and through sunset. Lots of people, entertainers, some beverage vendors, music, and a clear view of the lovely sunsets. Yes, you can see the sunset from other places, but the ambiance in Mallory Square makes watching the sunset there extra special.

Great views of the sunsets, live street performers are unique and entertaining. Not very crowded on weekdays. Lots of things to do and see.

This square, which overlooks the sea, is captivating for the varied humanity that crowds it at sunset: couples, friends, groups, families, as well as jugglers, street musicians, portrait artists, various vendors. The sunset is a beautiful sight, to be enjoyed in joy. From here the alleys branch off with clubs with live music, mainly Cuban.

good selection of items, but the rudest non customer oriented employees....no expression...could care less we were there... in and out... do not recommend unless you enjoy being treated as trash

It was a great way to enjoy the sunset when we were in Key West. There were fun little shops and nice restaurants around here as well.

The entertainment offered at Mallory Square along with the beautiful sunset makes this a priority to do at least one night you are at Key West.

Love Mallory Square! This place is awesome, rich in history, one of the best views and great for the sunsets! Saw people enjoying fishing, great for shopping, eating ice cream, people watching and enjoying the sunset. The street performers in the evenings at "Celebration at Sunset" are fantastic, such a great experience!

It's famous for viewing the sunset, there are numerous local sellers and acts vying for attention and tips. Can get crowded, but glad I did it once.

A very nice place to watch the sunset with a few of your new Key West neighbors. Lots of street entertainers and pop up souvenir merchants.
We found second deck front row seats for drinks and food at the Opal Key Resort “Sunset Deck”. What a view and an excellent experience. (If you want front row upper deck seats- get there early).

Best sunset in America! Fun to be a part of the crowd and to see the street venders. Always a fun time and doesn't cost a penny to enjoy.

Mallory Square Sunset - the most important must-do in Key West. Beautiful sunsets, wonderful street entertainers and vendors. If you do nothing else, you must witness a sunset from Mallory Square.

Mallory Square has a lively atmosphere for the sunset festival. The one street performer that I saw was entertaining and funny. Juggling act was fun.

A lot of waiting around in the heat for things to happen and we almost left, but one act finally started and he was very entertaining and funny! My fiance got pulled into the act to help out, so we stayed til the end and then got out of the heat.

So much to see and do, We ate at the Cuban restaurant thats right at Mallory Square and we also ate at the Spicy Frog, great food and drinks and also great music

don't miss the views of these sunsets and the beautiful sailboats
lots of activity on the square not to be missed

Fun tourist shopping. Sad that many small nice shops have had to close. There were Cigar stores and small vendors, art jewelry, Cuban coffee shops, fun t's, art galleries!

Mallory Square is a top location in the world to view a gorgeous sunset!! Been here many times but always have to come see a couple sunsets here. Lively crowd. Amazing boats. Cool street performers!!!

Tourist shops open by day, Not so much at night. Key West Brewery and restaurants abound. Fun to visit

This is one of those obligatory places to visit when in Key West and rightly so, the view of Sunset Key and the waters around this part of the island is beautiful.
Come in the evening and enjoy the show - several performers doing various acts.
It's a touristy thing to do, but worth it and a "must see" when in town!

This is a place for everyone to gather and enjoy life. If you are into people watching, this is the place to be, there are street performers, pop up bars, and people from everywhere. Great place to watch sunset and just hang out for a while before going for your happy hour drink (I know, in KW, happy hour is all day)
Perfect for the cruise ship people
It was ok, obviously very touristy and perfect for the cruise ship customers.
Lots of little gift shops
