Setting is inside an old oil change garage so when weather is nice bays are open and it's like being outside but undercover. And there is an undercover outside as well.
Need to unwind? The Atmosphere is lively with yard games for the kids as well as the adults. Live music (early) most nights. Lots to do or just sit and people watch. The brews are very good and lots of guest taps in addition to their own brews so there is something for everyone. They also offer homemade Sangrias as well as a cider or 2 for those non beer drinkers. The BBQ food truck is some of the best I've ever has and made on location. Carrabba's is also just up the road and they provide menus and deliver. Various other foods on different nights. If you haven't been here or are just visiting, this is the Go-To Place!

Stopped to check out the new brew establishment, and was not disappointed. Tomorrow is the "official" grand opening (Nov. 21st). Craft beers, wine, food trucks, and a great indoor/outdoor seating area will provide both young & old, a place to unwind, relax, and have fun. Unique decor, with a friendly staff, always ready to assist. Cash or credit. Singles, couples or groups will enjoy Marker 48. Hope this helps for your first visit.

Great house brews with tons of guest taps!! All pet friendly which is a huge plus!! The décor is great as well as outdoor areas!! Selection of merchandise is good but I'd suggest something along the lines of buy a shirt and get $1 off each beer purchased... ?? ...

This place is awesome. I love craft beers. And their are so many to choose from. I started of with the Poppa Chula I think it was called. A stout type beer aged with plantains and poblano peppers. Very smooth with a spicy kick on the finish. My girl had the white blueberry Sangria. It was amazing. So fresh and light and not overly sweet. I cant wait to try some of their IPAs. Unfortunately they were tapped out that night. Lol. I also cant wait to try BarbieCue food truck next time. We waited too long last time. Overall this place is awesome. Definately be going back.

Wonderful People

This was my second trip To Marker 48, the employees treated my wife and I very well. Very good beer. I would recommend if you are looking for good beer.

By Mike H |

We arrived here unknowing what to expect, when we entered the place was different to what we thought. Nice and roomy we were greeted by two ladies from behind the bar and we asked what beers they sold of which they show us a long list of beers their own and guest beers I am originally from the UK and my brother who was with me wanted to try what the USA had to offer. So we decided to try 2 flights of beer which is 4 small glasses of any of the house beers you would like to taste so we managed to try 8 different types in all, which is a very good idea to find the ones you prefer, of which we did both being of Belgium origin. The place was very clean and the staff very friendly. We did not try any of the food maybe next. Great place to visit they also do a tour of the brewery.

Beer tasting time

By clpjr2000 |

Cool environment that is clean and fun drinking environment. Large tap selection of a wide range of beer styles. I tried 8 different kinds with 5 very good, 1 ok and 1 I didn't like. A really great stop to sample with a few guest options. I tried the mead and it was very good. Sun coast trail, bonfire brown, Edinburgh, weeki weisse, mermaid's milk, Putin it down, meet the heat and blueberry hill are what I tried. A definite stop and worth repeat visits. 8.50 for a flight of 4 is worth it.

Great place for a beer

By Tropical_Sunrise_1 |

It's always good to see a microbrew survive that has good our better beer. This is one, almost the only one for miles. I didn't try the good that actually comes from an on-site food truck, but heard it was excellent.

Great atmosphere and beer

By Tinkvasi |

This place is tucked away in a strange area of town where you have to weave through the parking lot in a strange way to get to it. But once you get there you are rewarded with a lovely tasting brewery. Outside is a food truck. We did not partake of the food truck because we just had dinner elsewhere. However inside there was delicious beer to be had and pleasant and accommodating staff. It felt very comfortable to be there. And it seems like a fun place to hang out!

Great local brewery

By Megan W |

We love the beer here, the new distillery section offers a nice change if you aren't in the mood for beer. The staff is always friendly. Food trucks usually offer some great options, but love the option to order out or bring your own food if needed. Also, love that they are very dog and family friendly. Especially like that they expect dog owners to keep dogs on a leash and have well behaved animals. (We do.)

By Gerard W |

Take a tour most Saturdays at 2, 3:30 or 5. The tour guide is one hot dude. Tours are $8.50, includes a free drink and a glass to take home.

By RoyalC1941 |

We loved the beer, atmosphere, outdoor area, games, service, etc. We stopped in for a quick drink, ended up ordering two flights and buying 2 shirts. When we return, we'll make sure to spend our Saturday night here!

By Vin B |

OMG the beers they serve is so good. This place is nice and friendly staff. I like the cold strip they have along the entire length of the bar so you can put your glass on it and keep it cold. Never seen that before. Had a mead from a different brewery which was great. Had one beer from Marker 48 brew which was fantastic. Raspberry spicy so good. They do have people serving food outside so you can get a pizza or some BBQ from a food truck.

By wjxw1 |

Went there with family on a Saturday evening. Our hostess knows the guy that was cooking the pizzas out front. It's just like the reviews describe. Old auto shop turned brewery but it's definitely clean, painted etc. Inside are the long stand-up banquet style tables but nice ones made of wood. Outside is a fenced in area with Astro turf, yard games, picnic furniture, lawn furniture, various odd decorations and a little stage. I guess sometimes they have a DJ and sometimes a band. They had a country cover band playing the night we were there, a little loud for the space and I hate country music but I still enjoyed the fact that it was live and they were a good band. I tried a couple of the house beers and enjoyed them. As you come in there are food vendors, there was a barbecue food truck that looked good and the guy I kinda know with a tent and a makeshift brick oven doing pizzas. We had several, they were good for thin crust. I wouldn't take real little kids but there were several families. Pretty neat local business. Seemed like a laid back crowd. If they had a rock band I would have gave a five. Definitely worth checking out.

Good Beer, Bands, and Pet friendly

By Jim D |

We went to Marker 48 to listen to a band called Cottondale Swam play. Being our first visit we weren't sure what the place was about. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The brewery has two areas, one inside and the other outside. The inside has tables to hang out and relax, and/or watch sports. Almost forgot they also have an inside bar area to get adult beverages:). The outside has a stage and a AirStream type camper as the outside adult beverage purchasing area:). There is also corn hole games and ping pong for kids ofall ages. The outside area is covered with astro turf supposedly from LSU stadium, we won't hold that against them:). The large array of craft beverages and awesome atmosphere will bring us back again for sure. So pack up your kids and dogs and go on out and enjoy.

Great Friendly Service!

By momtks |

This is a typical brewing company that has a fun karaoke night! Check when it is! The outside area is neat but on a cold night not enough heaters!!! It was really cold. Food is done by food trucks and is good. The people behind the bar really treat you like they are happy you are there!

Must experience

By Renee |

Wonderful brewery. Great atmosphere in and out and clientele was very helpful. Also enjoyed the food truck of the day Belgium Waffles “no

By RhotanVonRhotan |

Stopped in on a friend's recomendation- very good. The inside is cooly decorated in the hipster brewery style and there is an outdoor beer garden with a really cool Airstream camper. No food in the brewery but the have a food truck outside- BarbieCue! very good. In order, I tried the Sour- actually really crisp and refreshing, don't let the name "sour" you on it! hah! then the Tortoise Portoise, porter- nice and coffee-like yet still light in body, finally the Mermaids Milk Stout- really rich and malty- top notch. and do have the BarbieCue- it went really well with the porter

By RoseCambridge |

Found this after asking someone where we could get something to eat and drink. What a gem. Really friendly service and great beer. We sat outside and there was table tennis and other games, and later live music. We asked if we could get something to eat and were told there was a mobile bbq outside and they would take orders, prepare the food and bring it in. We had the ribs to share and glad we did. They were big. Would definitely go here again when in the area.

By RLDona |

While evacuating to the west coast to escape Hurricane Matthew, we decided to try Marker 48 Brewery. What a great place!!
Great beer, unique atmosphere, and food trucks!
It looks like it used to be an oil change place because of the big windows where the garage doors had been. The pit to work under the cars have been covered with heavy glass so you can see the beer kegs stored below. There is a really nice outside area in the back with tables and chairs, and an airstream trailer that looks like they serve beer out if sometimes. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get to go out there.
There were 2 food trucks there on a Thursday night. We like visiting craft breweries, but many of them do not serve food. Having food trucks come in is a great way to encourage people to stay longer!
Would definitely recommend and would revisit when in the area!!

Beer and Barbecue

By WdotDave |

Great micro brewery beers made on site. Food trucks next door.
We went on Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy. Kid and dog friendly.

By Sue H |

Marker 48 was a great stop for a cold beer on a hot day!
Very friendly and informative staff.
Many samples available to try.
Will tell our friends about this place :)
The downside....leashed dogs were allowed. Seemed a bit odd to us.

Beer snob in Hernando county

By Austin B |

Market 48 is a great place. They have something for everyone. I’m an “IPA” guy and the pine island is right up there. The lobster event that my wife and I attended was top notch and Marker 48 is always doing good for the community. Always a BBQ and Pizza food truck here and specialty ones on diff occasions. Great place with great food and beer. One of the bright spots on a dismal Hernando county restaurant/bar scene.

Did someone say beer .......

By FLworldwanderer |

If you're looking for a change in watering holes, and a fun place to hang out, Marker 48 could be this place. A place for all ages, sample several delicious craft beers, and meet new friends. This past week we enjoyed the "dog races." Yes, real dogs, racing side-by-side, a great charitable event. Fun had by all. Stop by and see for yourself, and bring friends to share the enjoyment. Hope this helps with your first visit.

By R-Knee626 |

One of my biggest complaints of tasting rooms is the attitude (bad)of the bartenders. Maybe because we go early in the day and they aren't awake.
I will say that this place is the exception...all 3 working were all helpful and even waved when we were leaving....room was very nice and beer was reasonably priced

By Timber3769 |

My husband and I visit northern CA (San Francisco area) quite often & our son-in-law loves to take us to some of the local craft breweries. They are very popular there and there are a lot. When we saw this place mentioned we decided to check it out so we could take family & friends who visit. We were not expecting much. Imagine our surprise when we found ourselves back in CA or at least in a place that reminded us very much of some of the craft breweries we had visited there. The owner has taken an old oil changing place and turned it into this bar. It's very imaginatively done up. You can see where the people stood below the floor to change the car oil (glass over the opening & you can see the barrels down below). There is an outside area with games to play (for kids & adults) and quite a bit of seating. Big, long tables inside with board games to play if interested also. We enjoyed the 2 beers we tried. The make most of the beer right there but the do also bring in craft beers from other mostly local Brewers. They do not serve food, BUT there is a food truck right out the door & you order there and bring the food in. My husband & I did not eat there but took dinner home. It was great. It is called BarbieCue, bright red truck, very nice. Food was excellent. We had the ribs, beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw & corn bread. All was very good - some of the best barbecue we've had by far. While it is almost an hour drive for us to get there, we will definitely be back. We may even bring friends & family at times. If you are into the craft beers & looking for a cute, fun place to go Marker 48 Brewing is the place. Don't you just love those good surprises?!?

Very cool place

By Stanley A |

Visited with a large car fanatics group and even thou I am not a big beer drinker I had to tried some of their beer.
Wow, I was very impressed. So much that I bought several six packs (four in this case) to take home to share.
Will come back for sure.

By Cindy M |

Love that this place is dog friendly. Can't get much better than having a great craft beer, or in my case a great cider, and able to do this with my best furry friend!
Super selection on tap, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and food trucks with great food in the parking lot!

By Golfzilla |

Great use of a former auto repair shop. Transformed into a large space with fun decor.
Great selection of locally brewed beers, we sampled a very good porter and an IPA.
Thanks to my buddies who brought us for lunch here. You pick some food from an outside food truck (Barbie Cue) with barbecue beef, pork and salads selection and they deliver it inside the brewery. Nice!!

Great Selection and Spot to Hang Out

By Stacie M |

My husband is the beer drinker, so we like to find a brewery or 2 while on vacation. I was happy to find out that Marker 48 had options for non-beet drinkers, so that’s definitely a plus! Cute hangout spot, indoors and out, and dog friendly. We enjoyed our visit!

By Don_K_12_12 |

Great selection of beers and awesome cold bar to drink at. It was so cool to have the freezing cold brass strip running the length of the bar to set you glass on which kept you beer cold to the very end. And the amenity of having the food trucks outside deliver your food to the bar made it even more enjoyable.
And the staff went out of their way to make sure we foiund a brew that we liked and their service was excellent.

By Angela B |

Marker 48 is a local brewery in a small town that has a big personality! Between the cool atmosphere they created out of an old garage, and the relaxing outside patio that is kid and dog friendly, this is the place to be! The craft beer they serve is unique and delicious. Great selection. Their live music always sets the mood and their "Tap for a Cause" event brews a special beer that benefits a local non-profit every month. They provide a selection of fun card games and also have fire pits under the streamed lights on the grass patio. The BubblyBar is something new and fun! The owners have truly brought something special to Hernando!

By Mindy15 |

Local brewery. I was there on opening day. Met the nicest bartenders. They are knowledge about the different beers. And eager to talk about the beer. Marker 48 is committed to the community. Making donations and having fund raisers. Also promoting other craft beers. Inside bar is welcoming. Outside area is my favorite. Music, firepits, and lots of seating. There is a food truck and pizza.

By AnitaS484 |

Very cool building rehabbed from a former garage. They even have an underground private party room in the former oil pit. Plenty of room inside for enjoying their own brews and several regional microbrews. There is also a spacious outdoor beer garden with games like corn hole and ping pong. Live music on the weekends. You are able to bring your own food in or patronize any of the food trucks that visit.

We were offered samples of the types of beers we liked and had a glass of BREWnited blossom ale which is a brown ale brewed with orange blossom honey. Very tasty and 50% of the proceeds from this beer will go to the United Way of Hernando County through the entire month of February. Pretty cool.

The best part about Marker 48 (well besides the awesome beer) is they are pet friendly! Can't wait to return with one of our dogs. The whole experience is wonderful, I would highly recommend if you enjoy quality beer.

Always Amazing!

By Ed H |

Love this place! Friendly folks serve up a choice for almost any beer taste. Large taproom and outdoor stage/seating for events.

By Darlene F |

Marker 48 has an inviting atmosphere! Many choices of drinks - so many, I tried a flight. Loved Aunt TTs and the Mermaids Milk! The outside area with astro turf, fire pits, and live music was great. Indoor atmosphere was also fun. They do not technically serve food. However, you are surrounded by great food trucks with quality choices. The merchandise is also attractive. An added bonus for local, the place is dog friendly.

By Linn P |

The cold bar is very impressive, your drink can NEVER get warm, awesome! Wait staff are also awesome, they never let your beer run dry!

By NLC67 |

Nice friendly place. The staff is polite and helpful and eager to help you make a delicious choice. There's both an indoor and an outdoor area to enjoy your beverage. It's kind of like having a back yard party with your friends. Very reasonable ,too.

By jeffcW6361TW |

Great beer, some very nice people there and great set up. Beer garden looks nice and did I mention they have great beer. They also have Florida craft beer from other brewery.
Well done

By PHILIP and JULI... P |

Went to Marker 48 for the first time, and we discovered a gem. Everyone there was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to make our experience an excellent one. They did just that! What a great place to hang out in the afternoon - terrific outdoor area with an assortment of activities. Inside, an innovative idea for keeping your brew icy cold at the bar (you'll have to check it out), and plenty of room for parties, or just socializing. If you're ever in the area, don't miss this!

A great surprise! Excellent crafter beer

By World Traveler |

Interested in quality crafted beer? Look no further. Marker 48 Brewing is an excellent place to quench your taste buds. Their variety of crafted beers offers a full spectrum. While it's a self-service place, the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere has a unique rustic flare with a spacious beer garden outback. It offers tall barrel tables under bright red umbrellas to protect you from the hot Florida sun or a tent with comfortable coaches for larger groups. Oh did I mention the restored wagon bus that sits 4-6 people? It's such a neat place. Let's not forget the artwork display for your viewing pleasure. There's always a corner for you to enjoy your beer while listening to the tunes of a live band or jazz player and the opportunity to order delicious items from the food truck.

Hreat atmosphere, live music and craft beers

By bcasey1 |

Stopped here for a quick drink and ended up staying for a couple hours. It was a beautiful eve so we sat outside and enjoyed the live music. When we got hungry we walked out the front door and got pizzas which were pretty good. Tables with the fireplaces added a nice warmth, but I made the mistake of placing my beer on the ledge and it got hot , so I will have to think that through next time. We each ordered a different craft brew and took sips to try them all. Some better than others, but if course that's just a personal preference .nuce ambiance both inside and out.

Marker 48

By rjfla95 |

Marker 48 is a great brewery set inside and old car repair shop. The building was transformed and remodeled to be bar and brewery. The brewery features tables and chairs as well as high tables and stools. Outside you can enjoy the "yard" with tables and chairs and even a small stage for entertainment. Inside, there is a collection of games to choose from that may be played at any table for your entertainment. For food, Marker 48 has the Barbie Q truck located just outside featuring BBQ favorites such as brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs and more. Also there is a private room you can rent out underneath the bar for parties or events!

Terrific craft beer in a beer wasteland

By Jonathan C |

I discovered Marker 48 a couple of years ago on a visit to see Dad, and it has been a staple of every visit since then. In the craft beer wasteland that is Hernando County, it wouldn't take much to constitute a beer oasis. Thankfully, Marker 48 does not accept that low bar. As a veteran of many beer festivals, I can say with some experience that Marker 48 is putting out a wonderfully diverse, consistently above average selection of craft brews. I smile every time I discover yet another Hernando restaurant that carries Mermaid Milk Stout. But Marker 48 does as well with lighter brews, and coming from someone who gravitates toward higher gravity, that's high praise.

The food trucks are generally adequate, rending towards mediocre, though Barbiecue is reputed to be excellent. (I wouldn't know; they've been either closed or out of food every single visit to Marker 48. Guys, with that much demand, don't you think you should increase your hours and capacity?)

But seriously, you don't to to Marker 48 for food, you go for amazing craft beer. And they never disappoint. This will likely be my last visit to Marker 48, as we've moved my Dad north, so I'll wax poetic as I enjoy one last Molicious.

If you're a beer lover stuck in Hernando County, don't miss this place.

By Pete P |

The beer is amazing. Staff are friendly. Games, food trucks on site. Did I say amazing beer? Dog and kid friendly. Beautiful tasting room and beer garden. All the beer is brewed on site. Such a great place

Great night out; unique brews

By pinkyknowsnaples |

Best of Brooksville in my opinion . Great place to meet friends for a brew. Original and unique beers on tap. Wine is also available. Food trucks outside. Barbie Que was yummy. Indoor and outdoor sitting area. Can bring your pets. Live band on some nights. Check it out #PinkyKnowsNaples

By Nthomas177 |

Not a beer drinker, but went with my husband. Very casual. Friendly staff. Nice selection of beers to choose from. Limited wine selection from local vineyard only. Great food truck in the parking lot. Will bring to food to you in the bar.

Great beer, great people and a great atmosphere

By midcarp |

Marker 48 brews great beer but that is not what makes them special. Lots of craft breweries can make good beer, what sets Marker apart is the great friendly atmosphere that they have. All of the people who work here are very nice and caring. It is very family and dog friendly. It often has live music. They don’t serve food, but Barbiecue, a food truck is always here and they deliver into the brewery. They often have a variety of really good food trucks on site. This is my favorite place in Hernando County, Florida

Great drinks .. Selective mask enforcement/Can’t be loud ...

By Jessica R |

My husband and I generally love this place ... the Tasty AF beverage is amazing so is the banana bread .. however I noticed there was selective mask enforcement. Some people didn’t wear mask to go up and order and that was ok . However my husband goes up and was asked to . If you’re gonna enforce do it on everyone . Also there was live music and our table was singing along to music and my husband and our table was asked to quiet down because you could hear us all the way outside ?? First of all it’s a bar , 2nd of all you have live music and music playing in between .. but we can’t sing loud or my husband was loud? My husband was blown up in Iraq a couple of times .. his hearing is not the best . He comes to a bar to have a good time and he’s told he’s loud and for our table to quiet down ??? Quite disappointed . Didn’t catch staff members name . She has shoulder length curly hair , has the winged eyeliner , and had a black mask with daisies . There are ways to approach situations ... and you never know if you have a soldier , who can’t hear just having a good time !

Great location

By Florida Shenanigans |

The business is a very good experience. The only thing I have negative to say is the hours of operation.

By Jonathan S |

My wife and I have been to this local watering hole a few times since it opened. I love how the community has embraced it. The place is truly unique and the decor is spot on. I also love how the owners have given back to the community. With all that being said, I just don't think their beers are that good.

By Mary C |

Great staff. Beer and wine very good. Food trucks available for dining. Very casual and clean. Refreshing stop.

By alozam |

My friends and I went for the first running of the weenies. We had a few beers had some food and watch the dogs race. This was all done for the Humane Society. The beers were cold and very tasty many to choose from. The barbecue food truck was excellent some of the best barbecue I've had in a long time. I got a huge portion and I didn't get ripped off. My friends went to another food truck and bought the sausages they got ripped off. $8.95 for a hotdog is a little pricey. I would go back just for the barbecue. The dog races were a lot of fun they gave very nice trophies to the winners I will go back for the beer and barbecue again highly recommend it.

Great place with nice staff

By momoffivekiddos |

We had a great afternoon here hanging with some friends we hadn't seen in a long time. We didn't feel rushed and were able to sit for a few hours and sample the different beers the staff was really nice and friendly and it was cool to hear about how the beer was made and the flavors developed. We liked that they had a food truck and someone mentioned we could have food from other restaurants delivered here if we wanted. We ate at the food truck and it was yummy. Thanks for bringing such a great place to the area.

By Jo-Anne P |

Even if you are not a beer aficionado, you will enjoy trying the great array of offerings in craft beer, local wines and sangria. The space is wonderfully decorated (you'd never guess it was once a lowly oil change garage) with fun things to look at everywhere (and think, why didn't I think of doing that?). You can hang in the beer garden and play ping pong or giant jenga, sit by the outdoor fire, listen to music, or have a private party under it all. If you get hungry, there are food trucks located outside. We had the Barbiecue ribs, which you can order from inside the pub and have delivered to your seat. Delicious!

By 8ric |

Cool servers, awesome venue, solid brewed craft beer and an awesome covered outside seating area makes this place a great hangout.

The ambiance here is very welcoming and friendly. The building has the appearance of a small warehouse (touted as being 6000 sg/ft)with huge ceilings and plenty of open air space. No way you will feel cramped or crowded here. They have four huge garage doors that when open open (during cooler weather months) makes for a very nice atmosphere.Among guest taps, they had about 16 beer varieties of their own on tap. We tried them all and from top to bottom I'd give them an above average over all their beers.

By Amy R |

This place is a former oil change place. So cool that they refurbished it into a brewery. As you sit at the tall table, you are able to look down and see the barrels where they used to stand to drain your oil. Tried several beers, but my favorite by far is the dark chocolatey stout. They have lots of choices for everyone's tastes. There were also 2 food trucks so we tried both. The quesdilla was delicious and the BBQ pork was tender and flavorful.

By Jay F |

Make a point to stop at this brewery on Cortez Blvd in Spring Hill every time we travel to Homosassa or Crystal River areas. Great, spacious venue with food trucks. The tasting area is huge and the beers are amazing!! We had the Pine Island IPA and the "Molicious" Imperial Brown...both we so good, we had another. Although traffic is hectic on Cortez, well worth the effort!! Victor, the beertender, will take care of you!!!

By urbagurba |

first off their beers; they always have something for everybody- even if you drink that budweiser goats piss strained thru a smelly sock crap...cream ales, reds ,stouts, porters, hefe etc.their beers are of the highest quality- all done extremely well.... second of all- the brewery is an amazing place to relax, chill, and have a pint or 2 . they have a beer garden for when the weather is good.plenty of space, german beer hall type seating, and an amazing bar- with a built in beer chiller. definitely the best place in the area to quaff an amazing array of beers of the highest quality

By DalovelyDamanda |

Loved the laid back atmosphere! The fire pits...the outdoor/indoor areas. They had games and live music. Beer samples were helpful. Very enjoyable! A bit crowded but nice.

Regular visit

By Chris B |

Marker 48 has been my go-to place for almost 2 years. My wife and I have each celebrated our birthdays there. We attend so often that half the staff know us by name.

We recently we there for their annual Darker 48 Haunted House. I haven’t been to one in years and when I went here, I couldn’t believe how incredibly official it was. Practically Hollywood style. We meet friends and family on a regular basis.

A big positive about this place is the regularly changing craft beer and food trucks. Absolutely incredible place.

Fantastic Brewpub

By Greg S |

Converted car service garage, very cool concept for the inside. High tables with comfortable stools, allowing patrons to configure as needed for their group. Wide selection of craft beer made on site, with a beer list for every table. I found the IPA's to be hoppy and zesty, but I preferred the normal alcohol level one. Staff is very accomodating.

By Greg P |

Nice place to stop with a very unique environment. The craft beers were diverse and very tasty. The staff were friendly and informative. Prices were also very reasonable for the fine selections they had. For the non beer drinkers they also had a selection of Sangrias to choose from. Food cart outside or you can bring in your own munchies. I would recommend and would not hesitate to return to this brewery.

Great Brewery with Big Selection

By JStatler71 |

Really enjoyed my visit here. They have a great selection of beers, from stouts to IPAs. A tasting flight of 4 is about $8, and my pint of hefeweizen was $4.50 - reasonable for a craft beer. Nice atmosphere, very friendly service, good selection of tasty beers - definitely worth a visit.

By Lindsay C |

We have been here a few times but we love the lineup they have right now. 4 good iPas on draft. We came over the summer and I don't remember them having any. Fun atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Live music most nights, lots of games and fun. They were entertaining a party tonight while we were there which seemed like a fun spot for a birthday. Brooksville was in need of a place like this!

By Jean M |

So many events and fundraisers. This new place has it all. Great service. Very clean. A fun place for any age group. Best thing to do is follow them on their website. Something new every week. Best selection of beers. Hernando county is lucky to have them.

Cozy and fun

By MilitaryMama4 |

Had a meeting in the spacious basement, lots of food truck choices outside. Can't beat the choices of beverages and the friendly staff.

First one locally

By MS34609 |

First brewery of its kind locally. A little pricey and tends to get overcrowded resulting in slow service - but it is one of its kind so I guess that is to be expected. Good place to check out during the day if you can, before the crowds start.

By qtpie73 |

We went there for our first time and loved it. Just a really meet place. We will be back and looking forward to the fall breeze!

First Time at Brewery and it was awesome!!!!!

By Tricia H |

Great beer and food. There was a food truck right outside the Brewery with amazing BBQ. The staff in the Brewery were super nice. Can't wait to take the entire family.

One of a Kind in Hernando County “ Must Visit”

This is a working Micro Brewery and I love the place. It has a rustic laid back decor. It’s built in an old oil change garage. For a taste of Hernando County this place is a must visit. Inside and outside seating and dog friendly. Food wagons outside and you can eat in but this place is beer only and well worth a visit.

We have been wanting to try this brewery for a while. We decided to give it a try. My sangria was very refreshing. A little tart but fresh with fruit. The beer samplers were a good way to try various flavors.

There was live music that was exceptional. Food choices began with pizza made jn house. Other options were food trucks in the parking lot. Barbie questions a BBQ truck that had great pork, chicken and beef options . Next Texas Roadhouse was there with their famous options.

There is an obvious mixture of age groups having a great time.

If you want a fun time, good food and drinks give Marker 48 a try.

Great atmosphere, fantastic decor, the selections are terrific and change often. Really like what they did with the place. We really like that they are local folks doing good in the neighborhood.

We were driving through the area and this brewhouse caught our eye. So glad we turned around. This place is amazing. We ordered a couple of flights so we could try several local flavors. The staff is knowledgeable and very hospitable. They had a food vendor out front so we could order lunch. They have board games, televisions, and an outside patio area to enjoy your company and your beer. Quite a place to see and check out if you're remotely close. Really enjoyed our visit.

Best atmosphere of all the breweries we've visited, and we visit many. It's a repurposed auto garage. There were a decent assortment of beers they brew and some guest taps. It's all draft and they sell growlers also. You can purchase a 4 taste flight for $8.50. We enjoyed the red ale and thought the mo say it pale ale was exceptional. But craft beer is a personal experience so sample some. The service was excellent, could not have been better.

Many choices for beer plus a house Sangria. Couple the food from Barbiecue and you can not go wrong. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is the first time here as a date night and it was awesome! I love the big open tables so you could mingle with other people. The draft beer choices were good. A little for everyone. They even had boards games you could play too. Over all this is a great place. The pizza outside was delicious!

If you like beer, try theirs @ Marker 48. Unique experience and I'll return, discovered they're closed on Mondays. :(

By craigp800 |

The craft beer choices were great. They also had craft wine and Meade produced locally. The are a beer garden and have games and fire Pitts outside. Really cool

Long overdue for this amazing venue. My boyfriend and I are "regulars" since the first day of Marker 48's soft opening last November. Can't say enough about the staff and management. The beers are amazing, especially local brews, love the sangria but most of all the staff. I have never felt more like family in any other establishment in my entire life. I admire all the fundraisers within the community held for a variety of causes. I could go on & on but also don't want to forget the Barbie Cue food truck always on the premises as well as a variety of other food trucks & live entertainment on the weekends. The cooler weather is coming and look forward to spending time in The Beer Garden. We are hooked. Debbie & Joe

Afternoon Stop

Unique little place. Bartender was very friendly, as were the people we met. The guys tried flights of beers, which they enjoyed. And I found a raspberry cider to die for. Would definitely go back. They have outdoor seating and have live music.

Great vibe and beer

One of those places where you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The converted garage has been outfitted in warm, wood walls and to a person the staff welcomes you in to enjoy one of their dozen or more beers. Mo brews something for everyone and everything we had was delicious- We're IPA fans and settled in with his Mo Say It. Out back is a comfortable seating area that's like a mini-vacation in itself. Well worth a stop!

By Sharony S |

This is an easy going, fun atmosphere!
They don't really have servers, you just go up to the bar to get your drinks.
You can bring outside food in or order from the food trucks they have.
There's a nice outside lawn area with tables set up and a stage.
They have a basement area you can reserve. We were here for a fantasy football draft and was able to utilize that area on an otherwise busy life.
Parking is a bit crazy but just park wherever you can find a spot.
They have craft beers and a wine selection. Good stuff!

Lots of good beer.

By dougriley |

Not exactly beautiful or romantic. But there was music and an outdoor area with lots of room for fun and games. Definitely a great selection of beer and the staff serving it up was great.

Great food, fun atmosphere, awesome beer.

By Sean O |

I visited this place for a business get together. Food was great! Games are readily available. Fun atmosphere with great tasting craft beer.

By GlassHalfFull13 |

I am a bit lukewarm about craft beers. That being said, these guys have a great business model. The beer was tasty and cold, the beer service was terrific and the prices were typical craft brewery range.

My favorite part of the experience was the food trucks (See review of BarbieCue) in the parking lot. The second truck was setting up as we were off to the movies, so we will maybe try it next time. Hot dogs and sandwiches.

Games on the tables available for your entertainment were a nice touch.

We will be back.

Great little brewery in Brooksville/Spring Hill area. Excellent service from Victor and very good beers. The Mud River, barrel-aged imperial brewed with Blueberries, Vanilla and Graham Crackers was excellent. There IPA'S and Sours were also very good. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

Wonderful, our #161...

Marker 48 is terrific. Great old oil change/reclamation building decorated currently for Halloween. Had so much fun with Nancy at the beer bar too! I think we sampled everything they have! You can't miss this one for sure!! What a great stop on our ongoing beer tour... We'll be back! Say hello to Nancy for us!

Surprising

By Sam |

Recommended by friends. Located along a major east west corridor in central Florida in a commercial industrial area. Large seating areas indoors and out. Large selection of craft beers, and wines. They even have Mead. Food may be brought in, delivered or purchased from food trucks located outside. Friendly knowledgeable staff. You will not get commercially brewed beers here; these are crafted, flavored IPAS, ales, wheat brews
etc. Go in prepared for a new tasting experience. Anything you like can be taken home in a refillable growler.

Unique and fun place

By Stan D |

Great place to sample a huge selection of micro brews. Also a nice selection of Florida wines available. Inside and outside seating with entertainment on certain nights.

By Connie S |

One could only guess, unless you ask, the number of beers and wines they have. We were given numerous samples of beers and wines to sample. Food is from a food truck outside or you may bring whatever food you desire to eat with you. Unique experience.

Good beer, good vibe,good food

By Laura L |

We stop here often. They brew interesting beers. It’s dog friendly and there is a food truck,BarbieCue, that serves really good BBQ.

First Time 48

By KenDehon |

Went scolloping and drove by Marker 48 Brewing the first evening afterwards and noticed all the cars and a sign saying Barbies BBQ. We had already eaten and were tired. Next day we made it a point to go straight there after showering and what a great choice. One of the best IPA's I've ever had. The place was large as brewery's go and No TVs. They had music outside in a real nice lawn area enclosed. They are dog friendly and everyone seems to really like working there. The manager came over and spent some time with us and she was sincerely nice. Two Food trucks, one BBQ the other Tacos. We tried both and both excellent. Barbies BBQ was my favorite. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Awesome Brewery

By RTRUAMom |

Love to try new breweries on our travels. This place has an awesome selection of IPAs and I had a pineapple hard cider. It was very good. Awesome live music and watched the Jags beat Pittsburgh to round out a perfect afternoon. The Got Lobstah food truck was also there and their Lobster rolls are simply the best ever!

By Mark Y |

Not quite sure what they were thinking with this business concept. First of all let me compliment them on the transformation of the muffler shop and quick oil change. The décor looks great. A bit noisy and in need of big screen TV's that are on. As an individual who enjoys many different types of beers from a complex Chimay to a simple Shock Top these brews in my opinion are atypical of a home brew. Worth a try but noting to keep you coming back for more. Not quite sure what they were thinking by not having food service in house... How about trying to serve cheese, crackers and nut platters to go with the beverages. It is not convenient to go outside to deal with a vendor. The barbecue truck was out of food and everything was served cold. In case you were wondering this is not good. With all the patrons bringing in fast food, pizza to their own brown bagged meal, I felt like I was at a backyard party gone wild. Overall worth the initial visit but I would suggest bringing in some higher end successful brews that have flavors that can be appreciated. You need to figure a way to offer table service with snacks and or something to nosh on other than simply drinking beer. And by the way it is beyond tacky to have people bring in bags of fast food to sit and have a beer. Will not return unless they get their house in order.

Stop here for beer!

By Richard D |

Hidden Microbrewery Gem! Traveling back from Tampa we detoured just a bit to check out this brewery… a great selection of beers and a fun setting with live music, inside and outside seating… food trucks too.

Great hangout

By Paula R |

Great place to stop in and hang out with friends. Comfortable atmosphere with inside seating and outside yard seating. Board games, corn hole, ping pong, and other activities on different nights such as live music and karaoke, along with food trucks keep it lively and entertaining. Large variety of beer flavors, but since I don't drink beer, I can only comment on the sangrias which I really enjoy. Definitely check it out.

Wow

By Susan S |

Finally was able to find to go .in not a beer drinker and they let me try them all just about my friend found what she liked but not me so I went to wine...wow the wine was so good and refreshing..loved the atmosphere everyone was friendly I will diffenetly be back but next time I will also eat there..Nina Cachina was there making pizza and Barbie Q food truck a long line there..had to get home so didn't get to hear much of the band but they sounded good

What a delightful place!

By kansasrfl |

This has to be one of the most unique beer gardens I've found in Florida. It doesn't seem so big from the outside but there is plenty of space inside. There is a large outdoor area and the night we were there they had a great band playing. If you're looking for unique craft beers, this is the place. Who would think that a blueberry beer would be so good. Great food and great people taking care of you. I'll be back.

By 249seano |

I visited this place with the company I work for. I enjoyed the time I spent there. They have a great selection of drinks and there is a BBQ truck outside for you to get some really good food from. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone I meet or know.

By Sbs724 |

Spring Hill/Brooksville area is lacking good local businesses..It is all chain restaurant and stores. My husband is a beer drinker and I am a wine drinker both of us enjoyed it.. The dry wine is a limited selection. But I love that all they offer is from Florida. It is clean has a good atmosphere it is even kid friendly. There is no food, but you can bring your own or get bbq from the truck outside..My suggestion would be for them to connect with some businesses to order takeout/delivery. That way that once customers get the beer munchies they can have a selection of takeout menus order out from some of the restaurants and have it delivered there.. Many beer gardens have this option.

By nsiefert |

Service and Atmosphere were fantastic and the craft beers are the BEST! Wish they had in-house food though as I am sure it would be as great as the beer!

By oliver w |

Popped in to buy local beer whilst passing through. Came away with a couple of crowlers and a growler. Great beer, knowledgeable and helpful staff, if I was local it have a new local.

Always enjoy our time at Marker 48. love that you can bring your well behaved dog. Great beer and fun trying new flavors. Absolutely love when the Lobster truck is there!

Great beer selection

By tylaburg |

love this place, very laid back atmosphere and the beer selection is awesome. love the stout and food trucks outside that serve great food.

By Karl |

We were just driving by, and spotted the sign and building. Stephanie was our friendly and attentive barkeep. She was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions.

A little pricey for flights of 4 (@$8.50), but we sampled 12 different craft beers. Also had the "Best 'Dang' Cuban Sandwich", from the Gino's food tent, outside. Excellent!

This place has only been open for less than a year, but they're making their mark. Definitely worth a stop.

Worth the visit...

By Juhlig |

One of the best Breweries anywhere, hands down. great Atmosphere, music and most importantly BEER! Saw someone give a bad review of Chelsey, don't know what was wrong with him, but she is one of the most pleasant servers of any Brewery I have been to and I travel all over the U.S. to breweries. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Bay Area!

By momoffivekiddos |

A nice asset to the area. Wish that they served food. They do allow food to be brought in and do have food trucks here usually so that is a good thing. The decor is cool and there are lots of different beer choices. The staff has been friendly and helpful.

By Monica C |

We were visiting some friends in Spring Hill for the weekend and needed to kill time after visiting Weeki Wachee Springs. We did a quick Yelp search, and not being the Applebees type, had a hard time finding anything that appealed to us, until we decided to try this spot! We LOVED it! I had a flight and my boyfriend had two beers after asking for a few samples to help him make his selection. The inside of the bar is super cool and is just a funky fun space. The bartenders were nice and helpful. The outdoor area is where it's at though. We visited in August and it was hot and steamy, but the outdoor patio had shade and games, so we headed out there. There were a variety of seating options, adirondack chairs, or regular tables and chairs. We did some lounging, and then hit the giant jenga and cornhole before ordering some AMAZING mac n' cheese from the food truck just outside the fence (Barbie Cue, I think). The prices were fair and the vibe was great. I definitely recommend stopping in!

wide variety of IPA

By fatherofmo |

wide selection of beer to choose from, if you are not sure which one to choose the bar tender will help with samples. Copper strip on bar that keeps your drink nice and cold

Interesting Place

By stormcloud55 |

I had a Markers 48 beer on-tap at the NJoy Spirits Distillery tour and it was phenomenal. So, we stopped at Markers 48 for another brew and a bite to eat not realizing they don’t serve food! Apparently the food trucks show up at 5 (we arrived at 3). They did mention you can bring in your own food and there is nice outdoor seating with tables. We’ll keep that in mind for our next visit.

By drewsu |

Visited on Wednesday took a flight sampler and enjoyed the milk stout, pine island ipa, and very intrigued with the blond coffee stout which has to be tried to be believed! Very knowledgeable staff and friendly. Pets are welcome and they have visitor beers on tap ad well. They do not serve food, but you can bring in food from other establishments. Pricing was very reasonable with happy hour discounts on top of that. A very good time. Will absolutely visit again.

Our family is visiting on vacation in Weeki Wachee and we loved this place! The atmosphere is my absolute favorite! The Beer is great! Fun music and games! Pet Friendly! Awesome setup! Would definitely be back again if we were locals.

By Paula T |

Great selection of beer and food trucks on premises. Out door beer garden. We took our dog and had a great time!

By Wemo |

Fantastic new brewery with a beer garden and food trucks now finally open. Although the grand opening is November 21st, they opened last weekend.

Be sure to try the Mermaid Stout and the Pine Island IPA! Excellent!! They have guest taps too, but why bother...

Be sure not to park in the Tire Kingdom parking lot next door unless you want to get towed and walk home.....

My husband and I love to come to Marker 48 brewery.. Everyone is so friendly, great beer and big-screen TV for the game. Wonderful outside venue too.

stopped for a visit/beer

By Bob A |

Stopped in for a cold beer in the afternoon on Saturday, March 16th. I choose their Mermaid's Milk. It was a very tasty Stout, actually quite good. The problem with it was; the beer was not even close to cold, I would all it cool at most. Along with that, the bartender (an older women) was very slow, almost painfully slow. So I order, and a couple come up to the bar, and the women orders a Mermaid's Milk as well. So the bartender brings over 1 Mermaid's Milk, and whatever beer her male friend ordered, and gives them both the them. Well, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. So now I speak up, "Am I invisible"... Can I please have my Mermaid's milk that I ordered 7 minutes ago? WTF...No, I would not recommend this place, nor would I ever go back again, even if the overpriced ($6.50) for a pour of 3/4 a pint, was free.

Beer and wine were OK and pricey but Pets on the Tables was disgusting

By Hank132S |

We have been going to Marker 48 since shortly after it opened. The craft beer selection is pretty good but $5.50 for a glass is a bit high. Wine selection less so but much more expensive. They do have food vendors around the establishment and I see a lot of people buying food from them. I have not nor will I in the future. I draw the line a sitting pet animals on the tables where customers re to sit and drink or eat. On the floor is ok but not the table.

By Cassandra C |

We enjoy coming to marker 48 with our Lab. My favorites are the sangrias. The beer is great too. Fun atmosphere and great food!

By lovetotravel0075 |

Wow met friends there last Friday and we were pleasantly surprised. Nice décor and food trucks outside establishment. Cold Beer and Barbie Que with great food and Texas Roadhouse with great steak sliders. Nice long tables for groups. The outside area welcomes dogs and they have picnic tables and heaters for chilly evenings. Nice and clean with very friendly employees.

By Eric M |

Very clean very good and cold beer
The sampler is called a flight and is very reasonable for four of there own
Brew the place was an oil change shop previous and now just a very nice feel as a brewery

Great get together spot with a large selection

By Derek W |

Marker 48 is a gem in disguise in Brooksville, Florida. They have a large selection of fresh brewed beers, sangria, and local cider with a hometown attitude and absolutely friendly staff. I loved coming out here after work for a few beers and good company.

Great beer and a great place to visit

By Vizzo |

Stopped here and sat outside, lots of space there. Tried a couple flights of their beer, all very good. We had a couple of flights, they have a wide variety of beer, something for everyone. IPA`s, sours, cream ales, they had a great red called Red Right Return. On the day that’s we went they had a wonderful food truck with cheese steaks.

We liked that they had a good truck and someone mentioned we could have food from other restaurants delivered here if we wanted. We ate at the food truck and it was yummy. Thanks for bringing such a great place to the area.

Business Night

By Kimberly S |

Although this is a rustic motif craft brewery, the volume is entirely too loud. You are unable to have a conversation with the person sitting beside you without yelling. Beverages are tasty. Big drawback for me is only ONE unisex bathroom.
