One star $575.00 for the room when u check out $24.00 facilities fee u got to be kidding never going back Mohegan sun is worse than a Ponzi scheme Dover I’m coming back

This was probably our 6th visit here over the last few years, this time with our 2 young children. Stayed in the luxury sky suite, Room 2964 and OMG....this was breathtakingly beautiful, like a big apartment! We had stayed in the same type of room last visit, but this particular room number and location was SO much better and laid out differently. On our first night, there was a situation with housekeeping not following through with a request from 3 hours prior. I’m gonna spare the details, other than to say I was livid at the situation and Tracy, housekeeping manager, kept her cool and remained professional throughout. Epitome of good customer service! She took care of the situation and then it was a non-issue on our end. This stay was overall pleasant, other than my daughter and I got sick starting the second day and remained pretty miserable until we left. Otherwise would have spent and enjoyed more, but surely again next time!
Overall, this facility is family-friendly and top notch customer service. The Luxury Sky Suite is well worth the splurge! I’m adding pics to justify. Make sure to request room 2964 or similar space/view. I guarantee it.

I have great kids for they treated my wife and I to a weekend at Mohegan Sun for my 60th birthday. We were excited and looking forward to the first getaway weekend since Covid started. During the ride on Friday, there was a lot of stop and go traffic.
Getting stuck in traffic causes more stress and we did not need that now. We arrived and parked our car in the free garage. Plenty of parking, but busy. We entered and waited on line to check in. There was a delay since my daughter made the reservation and as explained to us, "we did not have the authorization to check in". It was hard to hear staff as the partition, their mask, and the background noise blocked the conversation. We called our daughter who in turn called the front desk and authorized our check in. It seemed as an unnecessary hassle to be delayed like this but this is how they operate. This is our first time here and we were offered a low floor or a high floor which had a view. We were undecided and a high floor was given on the 25th. The elevator worked by scanning the room key. The express elevator was very fast and quiet. Upon entering our spacious room with king size bed, we observed it was clean, lights and a/c was on and there were strips of scotch tap on the upper wall at the window. Probably it was used to hang up decorations from the last occupant. The view was the parking garage and some of the waterway behind the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the refrigerator worked very well. The shower was an issue as I could not get a comfortable stream going. It was a muti-function head but as the faucet was turned to hot water, the pressure of the emitting water was much stronger and could not be controlled with the shower head. It seemed like a waste of water. In the casino, I was amazed by the updated slot machines. Tall, colorful machines, some with a cushion seat for two. A big change from the old time slots. We signed up for our Momentum Players card. I placed it within three different slots and it did not work. My wife's card worked fine. I went back to the Player's Club and received another card. I placed it in a different slot machine, and again it did not work. I gave up. I walked around looking for a Blackjack table and there was $15, $25, and $100 tables. I did find a computer Blackjack game and gave it a shot. It appeared that I beat the dealer, but my winnings were not posted. I lost to the dealer and there was a deduction. I beat the dealer again, and again there was no posting of a win. I cashed out and walked away. Happy to say that we did win some money at the slots and cashed out. Played more slots and lost. Plenty of restaurants to eat at since the hotels buffet restaurant was still closed due to Covid. Also there is no housekeeping during the stay due to Covid. Any issues, one can call housekeeping. We did see Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons which was great. He could still sing at 87 years old. The younger Four Seasons and the band were terrific. It was a good experience overall, and a great gift from my kids.

Visited the Mohegan Sun for a few hours. We ate breakfast at The Hash House which is a sit down restaurant on site. It was very good amd we left full. Then on to play some slots. The casino was nice, clean and spacing was respected. The decor and ambiance is like being in a forest.
We did not hit it big but we played for a while. I will be bringing my parents in the fall.
If you enjoy casinos then this is a nice one to visit.

Hotel suite was large with plenty of room we stayed in the Sky Tower Sky Suite 1 King with Sofa bed very large bathroom with whirlpool tub and big shower, walk in closet, and a half bathroom by the entry. There was also a table with 4 chairs in the living room, electric fireplace and 37" flat screen TV. Note upon check out they charged us $18.00 per night ( Facility/Resort Fee) & the room fee for the 2nd night. In room on demand movie selection was great ($21.26) per movie. Indoor pool is on the 3rd floor, pool area was clean and not crowded. Gym is located across from the indoor pool. Nice place to get away, just wish being we were first time guests when we checked in staff would have told us about the Momentum card that is needed to play casino games and get discounts on your Birthday or on Wednesdays 55 & over promotion. Sign up for a Momentum card at any players club booth is my tip for time travelers. We found a booth with a short line and the staff was very helpful.

Clean environment with lots to do. Good food, shops and plenty of machines and tables to play. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The Casino looked really nice, very well constructed and beautiful structures. Loaded with different restaurants and night clubs. Most of them are No cover charge. Dress code enforced so be aware. Drinks aren't too expensive, about $11 for a cocktail. The gambling areas were designed very well, you have smoking and non smoking areas. The only reason why I didn't give excellence vote is because the prices for the tables should be lower. Most minimums were $25. I believe you can get more customers by lowering the prices of gambling tables. Parking is free and casino is safe.

So much to do at this exciting hub of excitement. We went for the WNBA finals series featuring the Sun and the Mystics. Great arena with good seats for all. We ate at Geno's Steakhouse before we went to the game. There are plenty of restaurants from the Tuscany fullservice scene to Food Court venues. Whoever believes that food shopping is boring should try the Mohegan Sun. ,

We visited the casino briefly before an event at the arena and it’s a very odd experience.
It’s huge and no expense has been spared in putting it together - the themed rooms look incredible.
As mentioned the casino is huge! It takes ages to get from one side to the other, meanwhile you’ll be inhaling lots of delightful second-hand smoke! There are nonsmoking areas, but they border onto the smoking areas, so it spills over.
There are innumerable slot machines, however the smallest bills they accept are $5 bills. Three pulls and it’s gone.
After you’ve put your money in, and you need to get more, you get stung $6 dollars to take out more - a bit ridiculous really!
Great place to go if you have rolls of dollars you need to get away and thousands of cigarettes to smoke, but otherwise don’t make plans to go!

We will usually go to the buffet prior to the Lacrosse game, then we had over to the game for some excellent fun! Then typically after it’s always fun to stop in and get a dessert from the famous Carlos Bakery!

Absolutely gorgeous the casino is breathtaking did some shopping perfect selection of stores did some gaming didn’t win but the experience was amazing

Great place to stay for a few days. Great restaurants, a few cool bars, some nice shopping. Only downfall is the rooms can be over priced on some nights.

I travel to roughly 10 - 20 casinos every year and Mohegan Sun is clearly the best, especially if you're diligent and take advantage of all the comps they offer. Great entertainment with the arena and the Wolf Den, wide variety of restaurants and clubs, very comfortable rooms (and reasonable, provided you use your player's card every time you gamble). Dealers are more friendly than most. There are also quite a few attractions nearby. A lot of bang for your buck (gamble responsibly!).

I go to Mohegan with a big group of friends once or twice a year. It is always a fun experience. I personally go just for a good time, enjoying the bars, nightclubs, food and music. I only gamble a little and usually cheer on friends who actually know how to gamble. In our group we have people who gamble and people who are just going for a fun time. Mohegan is NOT just a casino. It is also a place full of exciting events and things to do. They have a few night clubs that are FREE (the drinks are not!). The have live music on the weekends and they have endless restaurants to choose from. **I do recommend making reservations far in advance! This is a popular spot and the restaurants are always full. The facility is BEAUTIFUL! if you have never been to Mohegan you many be awestruck when you first walk around! They have waterfalls, bridges, a skybar etc. The casino layout is a little confusing. They have signs that are fairly helpful, if you want a map of the facility they have a costumer help desk where you can pick up a map, or just use your phone. I personally do not mind the confusing layout of the faculty, to me it makes it more fun to explore and walk around. ***I would make sure you have a group chat with your group, the group is bound to be separated at some point, keep track of your crew!
If you are NOT staying at the hotel connected to the casino, many surounding hotel's have shuttles that will bring you to and from the casino. This is GREAT, BUT again a warning! ***If you are a night owl and plan to stay out until 2AM, the shuttles are FULL by the end of the night. You can always order a Uber but it will be very expensive. Plan ahead! Again this is a hot spot so plan for the free things to be popular!
I recommend, this for people going with friends in their 20's - 30's. Anyone under 21 is not allowed in the casino areas. They check for ID's so teens be warned! I would not recommend this for families with young children unless you are going to see a show and not use the casino.
Over all Mohegan is a very fun experience, there is lots to do, they have a fun night life scene and of course there is always gambling .

took the Mohegan Sun bus from Norwalk CT...interesting experience for someone not in to gambling! Free drinks at the bar for 3 of us in return for taking our time playing $10 on a bar top fruit machine...vouchers towards meals and other gambling...ate in the buffet where selection was amazing, food was good not great but unlimited quantities, good service in the bars and buffet in fact throughout the complex...interesting and good value day out!

I was excited to get a great deal through Tripadvisor for the New Earth Tower! I then became nervous after reading reviews. I was satisfied with my stay. The rooms were just as nice as the the Sky Tower. The pool area was very disappointing and there was no jacuzzi. We were prepared to walk over to the other pool. There was a walkway separate from the casino so this was not a big deal. If you have trouble getting around I would not stay at the Earth. You do a have a longer distance to walk to the pool and the casino. The other reviews are correct about the staff. We were never greeted. They actually looked away form us. Very unfriendly. I like to feel excited about our stay like it was a min vacation but the staff was a downer. The only friendly staff was the person who checked us in and the valet who delivered the car. The original valet, who parked for us did not have a friendly greeting either. I would only go back tot the Earth Tower if I had a great deal. If yu are paying regular price stay at the original.

We came for the first time to spend the night last Sunday night. From beginning to end, we had a wonderful experience. We stayed at the Earth Tower. A beautiful room. We arrived early and they let us check in. We got room service the next morning and it was delicious. The casino, restaurants and bars are great. We had $3 tap beers and appetizers at Bow and Arrow Sports Bar. We walked around a lot and gambled a lot... didn't win, but it was fun!

I've always loved looking around at their beautiful decorations, here. However, returning as an adult, I'm significantly less impressed. For a gambler, you're treated much better and have far more options at Foxwoods.

such a beautiful place. everything. even if you do not gamble which i don't this is a place to visit. there are beautiful lights, there are water falls the rest. the shops everything is great. it's a must

People are right about the Sun being cheap. I missed a concert because my friend had Covid, and they deducted like $30 from my points. Now when I play, I get nothing. I’ve been in debt points for almost a year now. I talked to customer service three times and they won’t put my points back in - stinks.

We have traveled to Mohegan twice this month. The first time we stayed in Sky tower 16th floor the second at Aspire 32nd floor. Aspire rooms are actually the top floors of the Sky tower.
Valet- Sky and Aspire check-in valet was excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Check out valet, sky tower was much quicker and efficient.
check in- Sky tower check in was much easier and quicker. We waited a very long time to check in at Aspire due to lack of staff members at the front desk and guests with issues in front of us. We were offered champagne and/or other beverages at check in when staying at Aspire.
rooms- the room we had both times looked exactly the same. The bed at Aspire was heavenly vs your typical hotel bed in the Sky tower. Aspire offers a private elevator to the top level floor so you don't have to do many stops up and down. The bathroom products at Aspire are upgrade to L,Occitane which I love. Aspire has turndown service as well as a butler however, we did not utilize the butler. Aspire offers a private dining area called thirty-three with top shelf alcohol complimentary but we did not visit there either.View for both rooms overlooked the parking garage.
We are returning in September to attend a concert and have booked the Sky tower again as I do not feel the Aspire rooms are worth paying extra for.

The hotel is very nice, rooms spacious and clean. The arena is a great place to see a concert, not a bad seat in it. All this is ruined by the smoke levels in the entire facility. Supposedly certain areas are smoke free, but there is no enforcement of that, and no segregation from smoking areas. It permeates the whole facility and is nauseating. I’ve been there 3 times and gotten physically sick from the smoke all three times. I’m done with Mohegan Sun.

Play at your own risk. Using your card is pointless! I always bring a minimum of $5000. But your card won't be read. I played $4000 of my money and lost. I'm an Ascend player and asked Lauren (Host) for a comp and she denied me and said I only lost $500? What a joke. I've had this happen to me at this casino multiple times. The card readers don't work or they have deceptive practices.
There is zero level of customer service! They also take your momentum credits at their leisure and make up reasons they did it. It's always against you, the customer. According to them the customer is always wrong and they are always right. Terrible, terrible, casino! I won't be putting any more money in! Foxwoods is closer, you win more, and you get treated much, much better!!!!!

Excellent service and attention to detail. Easy check in and out. Rooms were well equipped. Free valet is a plus. Once you park your car you don't have to leave

This was a surprise trip for our anniversary, and our first visit to Mohegan Sun. Our primary reason was to see The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan in the arena. The hotel accommodations were very nice, as well as the casinos.

We made our way to a night at Mohegan Sun from the American Wharf Marina by shuttle. We enjoyed a great night with dining, gambling and drinks.

When we arrived very early in the day at this beautiful property, our car was valeted, our bags were sent to our room, and our room was already ready! Clean, spacious, just awesome! Staff was wonderful and super helpful! We were in town for The Warren's Seekers of the Supernatural Paracon, being held in the Convention Center there, and the space was terrific! Lots of vendors, celebrities and photo ops! We loved the casino too! Can't wait to go back again!

Beautiful place. Lot of restaurants to choose from. Shopping, Spa, shows available. Rooms are a nice size and always clean.

Two weeks, my husband and I stayed at the Mohegan Sun Sky Tower. It was absolutely beautiful! We had a room that overlooked the water. The view was spectacular. We arrived on Friday night. Although the room was awesome, When I woke up on Saturday morning, I realized there was a problem in the room and needed that needed to be addressed immediately. I called the front desk and spoke to Kevin. He was attentive, calm, and professional. Although I was upset, he deescalated the situation because of his calm demeanor. I would be remiss if I did not state that KEVIN was simply amazing! He sent a supervisor, Gia, upstairs to assess nether situation. She was also professional. After a thorough investigation, Kevin called the room and informed me that he would move us to another room. He

If I could give less i would. You will always end up being a loser. At the slots it's a scam. You may win a little, but will just put it back. Plus you have to pay taxes when you win at slots, even though you may end up losing much more money by the end of the year. So you lose twice.
There are groups of people who watch you play the slots, and after you have put lots of money in the machine, they put in a few dollars and win your money.
Mohegan sun does not care about patrons.the workers are nasty. The so called security are idiots. I had two jackets stolen there and the security made no attempt to help. They pick on old ldies for imaginary problems, but let the thieves go, as long as it's only your money or possessions. This treatment has been experienced by lots of people.
The hosts will act friendly as long as you are spending lots of money. The minute you spend less they turn on you
No matter what, it's all about taking you for as.much as possible. MONEY is all. You can not leave ahead, it's all fixed so you will lose if you keep coming back.
They play you with cheap gifts, lights and music. It is very easy to become ADDICTED!!!!!
So enjoy yourself in some other way. It will save you problems and money. MOHEGAN SUN SUCKS.

Very nice casino, recently renovated hotel rooms. Very frequent comps for nights, so I never have to pay when staying at the hotel. The payouts are very reasonable and actually better than vegas payouts. Most table minimums are $25 which is quite nice. The food bar in the high limits is free/super cheap to eat, and very easy to play, take a short break to eat, then come back to your table.
The hosts are wonderful and usually helps me secure event tickets/rooms, but I have an issue with some of the dealers. -1 start for some of the dealers attitudes. Sometimes they would complain about you not giving any tips and would try to verbally pressure you into giving tips. IMO this should be up to how I feel and not how they feel.

We go for a night away twice a year. It is an awesome time for slots, poker, table games, or just to drink & take in the atmosphere. Good for beginner or experiences gamblers, with dealers who are happy to help you learn a new game. Staff is always friendly. It is a big casino, & easy to get confused if it is your first time there, so it's good to have someone with you who knows their way around. Nice shopping, good food selection & overall a great time every time we go

This Thanksgiving, my husband and I decided to mix things up a bit after our festive dinner, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to visit the stunning Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino! While we usually make the trip to the Pennsylvania location, this gem is much closer to home and an impressive three times larger!
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel’s gorgeous architecture and design. Even though it's been around for years, it feels fresh and impeccably maintained, making it a true delight to explore.
We were thrilled to discover a plethora of dining options during our stay! We had the pleasure of dining at The Hash, Tao, Lansdowne, and Frank Pepe. Let me tell you, breakfast at The Hash was absolutely phenomenal, with portion sizes that could easily feed a small army!
Tao was a visual feast, boasting stunning Asian-themed decor that stole my heart. It’s an upscale experience, so I highly recommend dressing up for this special occasion—the food was simply divine!
Lansdowne, an inviting Irish restaurant, captured our hearts with its charming atmosphere and delightful dishes. While the drinks could use a little tweaking, the food was nothing short of delicious.
To top it all off, the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we cherished every moment of our visit. It’s truly a wonderful place to eat, shop, and indulge. We can’t recommend this destination enough—it's an experience you won’t want to miss!

This past July I won the grand in high rollers, after losing my shirt from January 2021, since then I’ve been there about a dozen times and continue to lose my money, I’m sure they know who I am and makes sure I don’t win any grand or hand pays, I feel very discouraged cause Mohegan was my best casino, they do the same thing to my husband, don’t tell me they don’t do something so certain ppl can’t win, BULL

From the moment we parked the car for the valet, I knew there was something unique about this resort. The bellman and valet literally rushed over to the car to help us with our belongings and could not have been nicer. The second thing that struck me was the scent when walking in... it was a like a clean soap (my wife says bananas)... who knows, but it was nice... refreshing. The immaculate backdrop of the hotel matched the scent. Nothing was out of place and the ornamental fixtures and incredible displays Mohegan presents to you as you enter truly makes you feel like you've stepped into another world. They truly pay attention to detail. This theme carried over to check-in and with the rest of the hospitality staff. We stayed in the Cove suite which had incredible view of the The Thames River 12 stories down. The suite was extremely large and was exactly what you would expect from a 4-star property. The furnishings were exquisite and reminded me of only the finest hotels that exist in America... including the Ritz. They were always quick to help out no matter how incidental. My kids enjoyed the giant pool and the kid provided games and entertainment directly located under the sky hotel lobby area. There were too many restaurants to name, but I especially enjoyed eating at Michael Jordan's steak house. We had fun as a family touring the property, eating and visiting the retail shops during the day while I got to gamble at night. I can truly say this was an adventure that proved to be exciting as it was rewarding. I will definitely go back and I give kudos to Mr. Hamilton and his team for making it memorable.

We enjoyed a beautiful room that felt exceptionally clean and decorated modern.
Individual room climate controls, lots of charging portals, a tablet and wide screen television made the room very welcoming and comfortable.

Better than a Las Vegas casino. Been to many casinos and Mohegan Casino comes out on top. So much activity.

Our first Time at Mohegan Sun. Easy to park and puts you right in the heart of the entertainment. Great flow to the entire facility. Loved it and definitely will be back to see shows and enjoy the Amenities. Roof top Fridays is very cool, great place to meet and mingle

Mohegan Sun is a nice casino ans lots of amenities are available. But this is no Vegas. If you party too much they refuse you alcohol even when nothing is the matter. Furthermore it can be pricy, if you don't pay attention. The surroundings are nice, such as the town of Mystic and the restaurants are great. Foxwoods probably the nicest and a more festive place.

This casino was very nice and very well laid out. I liked how they had a lot of signage and directories throughout the casino, so that way it was not too easy to get lost. I also really enjoyed the slot machines they had and how many different rooms and casino floors they have. There were a lot of nice stores and restaurants available as well! Definitely a great place to stop to when on vacation in the area!

This is a beautiful Casino, it's just breathtaking every part of it, that alone was good reason to go and visit, we enjoyed the many slot machines and the restaurants were great, service was amazing, we went to see the "Game of Thrones Concert" and it was amazing, we had such a good time.

I’ve played at Mohegan many times over the years . I live in VT so we make a casino trip a few times a year. I have also played at Foxwoods, Vegas and Florida casinos. Mohegan Sun is by far the worst paying casino. I have consistently walked out broke. I am a pretty savvy player and have good gaming strategies. I also notice that the waitresses are nowhere to be found. I spent seven hours at Mohegan last Friday and never was offered a drink, not once!

the worst casino in america winning percantage is a complete lie. i will never be using this casino again STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

The Mohegan Sun is approximately 14 mins away from the Foxwoods resort so I was thrilled to visit them both during my one week mini vacation. I must say I had a wonderful time during my 2 days stay at the Mohegan Sun, it was short but sweet. However the casino payouts are very small, that's definitely the only thing I don't like at all, but the overall place is astonishing. Mask is required, each store has sanitizers and social distancing is enforced, after months of being home it feels great to be able to get out the house again, please wear your mask, have your santiziters and make the best of the current situation. Please Note the pic uploaded is from my visit in January 2020.. The pictures I took when I visited last month (June 2020) are on my laptop which I don't have access to right now.

We didn't gamble, but came to eat @ the buffet. We enjoyed the many, many choices, including seafood. I think kids would enjoy all the choices! There are many places to sit & we didn't have a long wait. I was impressed with the beautiful décor, keeping in line with the American Indian heritage. There are a lot of stores for window shopping & many other dining options, including Bobby Flay's place. There is an arcade for youngsters to stay busy, while parents rest a bit. Also, there is a beautiful Dale Chihuly sculpture in the lobby. If you are not familiar with his works, do yourself a favor & google him!

Absolute worst experience ever. I can't believe the gambling commission says that they return 95% in slot play. I lost $1200 on one machine and never got back the 95%. Stay far away from this casino or you will lose everything you went in with. I will never return. Thanks for nothing.

It is a casino but it is different. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are simply gorgeous. they have a great spa, and indoor and outdoor pool, beautiful patio and great hot tub. You can get your hair cut or go to a great beauty parlor. A great variety of stores and shops. Many great restaurants although I really love Summer shack for seafood, and Michael Jordans for beef. Frank Pepes for Pizza! For the most part the gambling is fun, but the tables are much more expensive on the weekends. Table games can be crowded on the weekends. Just get up a little early to gamble on the weekends. They will grandfather you in at a table which does not happen at all casinos. I play a lot of roulette and those tables are spread out throughout the facility. Check in is easy and the staff is nice. Generally younger staff behind the desk. I am not a big time gambler, but have been to AC, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania, and Foxwoods. this by far the best. It is on an Indian Reservation and the comps are generous!

We went to Mohegan Sun to see the Journey concert. We had not been to Mohegan Sun in 13 years and the casino is absolutly incedible. Restaurants galore, stores, cool bars, and the size is incredible. The concert venue is fantastic, not a bad seat in the house. It was easy to grab food and drinks before and during the concert. I definitely will be returning in the near future for a concert or just to gamble and enjoy ourselves.

Love to go to Mohegan Sun casino. There is so much to do there that you can't get bored. You can gamble, shop, eat at great restaurants and see great shows.

This was a good day with family and friends the service was good and the staff was curtious. My family and friends were pleased with their trip especially where they traveled so far.

Great atmosphere! Great shops, lots of restaurants and plenty to do even if you don’t gamble. The place is beautiful.

Our first visit here with our 2 grown children & our sons girlfriend. Booked 2 rooms. The booking, valet & check-in process went quickly & smoothly. The rooms were very nice, comfortable & had good amenities. The buffet is a waiting nightmare. Decided to forego it. Got a quick bite and headed towards the gaming floors. Found the Casino brightly lit, plenty of colorful slot machines & tables. As we don't smoke we headed to what was suppose to be the non-smoking area. Unfortunately you have to navigate thru the smoking area to get to it. Then we found people all around us in the non-smoking area puffing away on cigarettes & cigars. Apparently they don't police this sort of thing. Im all for smokers rights but to me, there has to be a better way to separate them or enforce the rules. It just is annoying to have smoking all around you when your trying to gamble. Maybe 1 casino should be smoking and 1 non-smoking & be firm in those rules. Overall is was just ok. Nice place with (in my humble opinion) a big problem.

Went to Mohegan sun for a concert. We ended up at Jaspers for dinner. Food was served fast and hot. Went to concert and then hung around a while and had some fun. We actually played the slots together and ended up winning some of Mohegan money. Would go back again if the right concert was appearing.

We just went to the Casino for the Terrificon Event that was held in the exhibit hall. The hall it self is very well laid out. The driveway and parking areas were easy to find and convienent to the exhibit hall. If you go to an event there at the hall go to the Winter Garage as that is the closest to the hall. The staff at the venue was very helpful. After the event we took a tour of the casino and enjoyed the shops and variety of food venues available. We will likely go back there for future events.

Room was neat and smoke-free! Great features like in-room iPad for temp control, TV and more. Very good security system; room card needed to get to elevator, to USE elevator and of course to get in room. Good restaurants on-site and very clean environment. Had fun!

Just moved here and decided to take a bus trip from our development. We were issued a buffet coupon and 2 $10.00 bet coupons Went to the buffet which I found good except for one big problem. I was getting a desert marked sugar free and the person behind the counter told me it wasn’t sugar free and it was miss labeled good things she overheard me talking to my wife. As a diabetic this would have caused me major problems. 30 minutes later it was still marked wrong and no one would do anything about it. My next problem was s I play let it ride they wouldn’t accept thr free play coupons which I can’t understand as it would be used as the first bet or as a match play. As it was I still spent 4 hours at the table and my wife played $.50 slots all that time. One other problem I found was there was so few tables open it was hard to find one and no one seemed to be knowledgeable about the casino layout.

Mohegan Sina Casino and Arena has match to offer. There is many restaurants for every budget to enjoy before or after a show as well an awesome gaming experience for those who have money to gamble. The casino is inviting and clean. There is an abundance of parking both in parking lots and in the garages. I enjoyed seeing a show and ate at Bobby’s Burgers located by the winter casino and entrance. The Mohegans just added a huge expo center and have many new ventures in the works including bowling ally and additional restaurants. The mall had several closed stores as they lost several tenants due to the poor retail economy. They have new Tenants coming soon per their reports.

We visited Mohegan Sun, and had dinner on two nights. Food was great. We attended the Barrett-JACKSON Collector Car Auction. We had a great time looking at all the classic cars and watching the auction. While playing at the tables, we were able to listen the the Wolf’s Den shows. The food court was convenient. We had a great time.

The visit to Mohegan Sun included a dinner and comedy show as well as some gambling. There are many choices as food goes and the comedy show was pretty good. The Casino is very nice and offers a range of table games and slots. If you like shopping they have that too. Would recommend a visit if you haven't been there.

I'm not a gambler but Vegas is one of my favorite cities because of the restaurants, shows, thematic resorts and the shopping. Mohegan Sun does this well, with the theme being the Earth. I was there for a trade show, which they do very good job with. When not working I enjoyed walking around to take in the sights and to experience the above mentioned entertainment aspects of the resort. Overall, I had an excellent time as a non-gambler.

We went for a concert with some friends and had a great time. The staff couldn’t have been nicer..... another concert goer behind us had a little too much to drink that night and needed medical assistance. The staff was super quick to relocate us as we couldn’t sit in our seats while they tended to her. My only complaint with Mohegan itself was the smoking 😬. There are so few smoke free areas.... the one we went Into was surrounded by smokers. In this day and age, I just feel like that needs to be better....

Wonderful casino with easy access to food and shops. Highly recommend. Free parking. Highly recommend going to Mohegan Native museum, which is free and just a couple of minutes away. Small museum with free guides and wonderful historic talk..free!

Saw a show at MS. We had floor seats. Great view. The first balcony would be OK but the 2nd level is very high and looked steep. It would have been very disorienting for me. Be aware when buying tickets. Attendants were all very pleasant and accommodating.

My wife and I had an enjoyable experience visiting Mohegan Sun. The hotel has great ambiance and the rooms were above average. We spent Valentines Day dining at Todd Englishes Tuscany restaurant. We dined outside under the mesmerizing waterfall and enjoyed the pleasure of a fine restaurant which had a magnificent wait staff.
The hotel offers some great high class restaurants backed by renowned chefs Bobby Flay and Gasper White. It also offers lower and mid priced dining venues. The shops range from high to moderate class including Coach and Yankee Candle. The hotel offers a spectacular casino and an excellent area featuring top notch entertainment. A visit to the Mohegan has a lot to offer for a daytime visit or overnight stay.

Really wonderful to go into casino and breathe! No smoke area. Very beautiful interiors and pleasant atmosphere. Lots of food choices.

We're frequent guests of Mohegan Sun and have stayed in the hotel several times. My husband had wanted to try the new sportsbook on Sunday. we got bar stool seats for $100 each and nothing was included. The $100 per person charge is to rent the seat only. We misunderstood what was included which was not Mohegan Sun's fault. We were disappointed but made the most of it. We had planned on being there all day to watch the games. By the end of the day we had spent another $200 on food and drinks, so now we are at $400 total for the day. Around 4pm or so people started leaving and some seats opened up. People walked right in and took a seat. When we checked in at noon, we were given a bracelet and told we needed to wear them in order to leave and come back. These gentlemen next to us just came in, sat and were served drinks etc with no bracelets or reservations of seats. I heard thier waitress tell them they could stay. At this time, our original waitress had left for the day and we hardly saw our new waitress. Meanwhile the guys who walked right in, were served by a different waitress immediately. At this point we are highly annoyed. We paided $200 for our seats and these guests were allowed to come right in for free. We will never pay for seats again since they allow anyone to walk in. Our first waitress was great but our 2nd waitress could not be bothered to come to us and was busy helping another table most of the time. So on top ofpaying for our seats, service was terrible and it was not supre busy. My advice is to not rent a sent and show up for the later games. You'll get a free seat and will be served food and srinks and it will save you some money.

This was my husband and I second stay at the Mohegan Sun and once again we had a great time. We stayed in the Earth Tower hotel on the 12th floor. The room along with everything else was perfect.
We have visited many casinos and this is the best one outside of Las Vegas.
We will definetely go back agin next year.

My husband and I had tickets to see Peter Frampton at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Sept. 2, so we decided to splurge and spend the night. Reserved a Horizon King Suite in the new(ish) Earth Tower. It was clean and spacious, with a pretty view of the river and surrounding area. Check in was easy and the staff was pleasant. The only drawback to check-in is that you have to walk all the way to the Sky Tower check-in - there is a concierge desk in the Earth Tower lobby, but no check-in capability. I mention this for anyone who has mobility issues.
Security is good in the Earth Tower. There is 24/7 security by the elevators, and you have to show your room key to get access. Then, once in the elevator you need to swipe your room key before the elevator will move. Makes you feel safe.
Other reviewers here noted that sound travels in the Earth Tower rooms. I have to say that the walls don't seem as well insulated as those in the Sky Tower. We were at the end of the hallway, but could hear our neighbors talking and could hear their TV, as well. Luckily they were not noisy folks, they were just speaking normally. By comparison, when we stayed in a regular room in the Sky Tower a few years ago, the room was so quiet.
We hit the casino for a bit before and after the show. I did really well on some of the slot machines - got some nice bonus rounds. Even though the place was mobbed you could always find a machine.
The show itself was fantastic - very emotional at times, because Frampton is on his farewell tour due to health issues. It was one we'll always remember, both for the quality of the show and for the nosebleed seats we had! The upper areas are so steeply inclined, and there are short series of maze-like steps. Again, anyone with mobility issues would find this very difficult. Once we got to our seats it was immediately evident that we were staying put for the whole show - accessibility is not a hallmark of this area! If we ever go to another show at the Arena we will make sure we have seats on the ground level, or at most the next level up.
Security was thorough getting in to the show, very comforting in these times! Exiting the Arena was a bit crazy, because there is a huge, long concourse which has merchandise and food booths; so people were stopping and creating "traffic jams." I would suggest having a defined avenue for people exiting the arena with ample spaces alongside for those who want to stop at the booths.
We had a midnight snack at Johnny Rockets (open 24 hours) - service was good and food was tasty. Breakfast the next morning was at the Seasons Buffet - a nice selection of items.
We would definitely go back, keeping in mind what we learned from this visit to make our stay that much better.

This casino has become horrible greedy. Table games start at $25 and those are even hard to find. I loved playing craps but won’t consider at these minimums. Slots are awful - saw no one winning the last two times we visited.
Save your money and try a different place. Mohegan needs to go backwards in time a couple years and make it an enjoyable place for the average person again.

When compared to another casino like Foxwoods this casino appears dated with limited food and shopping options. Wasn’t very busy on a Sunday night. No large payouts from machines seen happening.
Was there for concert. Arena was ok. Seats small and uncomfortable and positioned oddly. Had to keep head turned to the left to face the stage.

It is so organized and well run,but I was Stunned to find people smoking while gambling. The staff was nice and gave us an overview. There is a wide.variety of shops and restaurants

This resort has a hotel, restaurants, shops, and casinos. I like gambling with slot machines for fun.

Mostly go for the gambling but I have gone to a couple of concerts there with friends. Great atmosphere.

It was our first time staying at Mohegan Sun and we very much enjoyed our stay. The room was neat, clean and comfortable. The extra security of the elevators not traveling to floors without a room key was a nice perk. Checking in and out was quick and easy, and the valet parking was right on top of things. One thing that we really liked was the addition outlets in the rooms , which always seem to be in short supply and the reading lights over the beds. A very good first experience

After a long day of travel from PA, my husband and I went from the RV parking lot to the casino to play for a few hours and have dinner. At around 9pm we were very tired and decided to return to our travel trailer. We waited for over an hour in the hotel lobby and the shuttle did not pass by there even once. We could have walked the half mile if I was not disabled! I made 3 phone calls to customer service and I was assured each time that the shuttle would be there shortly, because they made their "rounds" every 20 minutes. We sat through at least 3 "rounds" of 20 minutes. This ruined our experience at the casino. The driver of the bus asked if he could offer us "make it right" coupons, but we declined because we have decided that we will not return to Mohegan sun. I gave them a 2 star because our meal at the Michael Jordan Sports bar was very good and because we won a little money.

Very clean casino. Room was well equipped and clean. Employees very friendly. Would definitely go again for an overnight stay.

Despite Mohegan Sun not being the closest casino to home anymore, I chose to make the extra drive each time because it's consistently the best casino in the area in terms of the total package. I've stayed at just about every type of room at Mohegan, and just recently tried their new Aspire rooms for the first time. While the regular rooms in the Sky Tower are very good, the Aspire rooms really elevate the experience with the private valet and check-in. Also, having access to the Thirty Three lounge is a nice perk. I spend most of my time on the gaming tables, so being able to take a break away from all of the action and grab a quick bite with a view is a nice bonus. I did not use the "butler" service, but they called my room to let me know they were available. I usually use free room offers when I go, but I would definitely pay the extra for the Aspire rooms as avoiding the chaos of the Sunday morning valet exodus is worth it in itself.
Aside from the hotel, I like Mohegan because I find their rewards to be very fair and I get a lot in return for the money I spend in the casino. There is plenty to do aside from gambling, and a huge range of restaurant selections. In general, I find the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. My only critique is they could use more drink staff in the pit behind the Wolf Den.

This is a good place to visit with your wife for a evening of some fun good places to eat and shop but pretty expensive plenty of slot machines and crap tables and poker tables. The only problem can be trying to find beverages to drink while your playing the slot machines I guess there cutting back on there help. To have real fun here is to go in knowing your going to loose your money so you don't go home disappointed just to have a good time and a night out.

Rooms are stunning! Spotless, immaculate, roomy, modern. A great nights sleep. The casinos are top notch, I,especially love the Bow and Arrow bar. Nice selection of draft beer. Lots of stores, restaurants, etc., and the decor is stunning!

The restaurants and gambling facilities were excellant. The hotel rooms were spotless. Kudos to all the staff no matter what the venue was.

Stayed one night for a large meeting. The room was very functional and quiet. The bathroom and bedroom were well appointed without being overdone.

We used the Spa for some pampering. Staff friendly, service top notch, price not cheap but we fell it was a good value. We would return.
We also used the pool and whirlpool. Plenty of seating. Whirlpool not over chlorinated. Pool dominated by children (late afternoon). They have an adult only time 6:30 to 8:30 AM. Nothing after that, not even a half hour mid day or evening. Service at the pool bar was perfunctional, neither friendly or unfriendly,. (3 star = ok we guess). Probably wouldn't return to pool.
Used valet. A good value but they're so busy we had to wait Everytime. (sigh). Great value though. Just hate to wait.
We did plenty of shopping. Some shops friendly and a good value. Some no so much. Not Monhegan employee's so the inconsistent service is not surprising. A couple of standilouts:. Denali Great items decent sales, cashier's need more training,. Managers not especially responsive. The other one. The Country Store. Lots of interesting items,. Great sales and the staff, though v young we're friendly and responsive. We would return to spend more time browsing the v interesting foods, and small items.
Overall, a very good 1 night stay.5 stars except for the pool service and the valet wait time(s).

At Mohegan Sun it is about more than just gambling.
The decore is stunning. The sky casino is light and airy with a glass mountain in the center and has a bar at the top.. The earth casino is loaded with rustic wood. In the center is a stage where they put on free shows.
For you dining pleasure there is everything from Steaks to Italian to Pizzas to Burgers and everything in between.
The hotel is a towering 36 story structure with magnificent rooms. There is a spa and pool afilliated with the hotel.

The hotel and its rooms are modern, clean and very stylish. Everything is close by including the casinos, shops and restaurants. There is a stunning Chihuly glass sculpture having 2500 glass pieces and weighing 10,000 lbs which is just beautiful.

Average Smokey, tables and slots 🎰 didn’t pay out and food in buffet terrible . High priced rooms no perks won’t return will go to Encore next time.

I've been going to Mohegan Sun for several years and love it. It's clean and safe whether you travel alone or with your friends or family.
There are plenty of slot machines although it gets pretty packed on a Saturday evening. I don't stay in Mohegan to sleep because the rooms are very expensive especially on the weekend, there are hotels about a mile away that are very reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend going to Mohegan for playing slots and some shopping since there are several outlets on your way to the casino and at Foxwoods which is only a miles away.
Mohegan is MUCH better than going to Atlantic City if you like a quiet and clean atmosphere. Most people are older so you don't see the craziness. Only better place to gamble is Las Vegas so if you're looking for a nice place a few hours drive then Mohegan is the place to go.

I didn’t see many ppl cashing in their “winning tickets”! Their machines do not seem to pay out often. I have found some of the staff members are great, but many more are NOT!! Rude. Unhappy. Miserable. Think they should change professions.

My son and I stopped in the Casino for a few hours of playing the slots and just looking around. The place is huge and is decorated beautifully. There are indoor waterfalls and beautiful glass sculptures. We were there around midnight so most of the stores were closed, but we had a great time even though we lost some money.

Beautiful well appointed casinos. Great restaurants and shops. Exciting experience for all. Different venues in each seperate casino. Smoke free section.

IMHO Mohegan is the best casino around based on overall appearance and decor which speaks very well of our Native American Indians. Warm colors and hues throughout and a well layed out casino floor not to mention the sun arena which there is no bad seat in that entire venue.

Fun casino that literally offers everything except a full service sports book, which I assume is coming soon. (You can bet on horses). I love the restaurants, great steaks and seafood and Italian options. The offer authentic Asian cuisine too, but I personally don't enjoy that has much :). Their buffets are very very good, their food court is high quality stuff, they have the best pizza chain in CT in house, and overall just a ton of dining options. Their hotel rooms are clean and well appointed, most have great views. I've been there a ton of times.

Even if you don't gamble, which I don't, it is a wonderful experience. So much to do. Live music, great food, shops, museums, night clubs, people watching, and more. If you do gamble they offer all the games in a truly beautiful setting tinged with Mohegan heritage.

The hotel room was clean and spacious. Room service was delivered on time and the quality of the food was great. The first delivery person was friendly, but the second one backed up against the wall and said she couldn't come in (which is understandable) and pointed at the bill to sign. It was a bit much. The food at Frank Pepe and Sol Toro was delicious.
There were lots of new machines, but I noticed a new trend. People who were playing the newest popular machines were holding their machines for up to ten minutes. If someone needs to use the bathroom, that is one thing, but people were leaving the chair tilted and went to go get meals and bring them back to the machine. Some made a big show of doing it while others were clearly waiting to play. I saw a couple playing on the same machines for over four hours. It is their right to play that long, but not to go get food and be gone so long and expect the machine to be out of use for others.

Variety of options for fun, food, drink and gambling. Many Entertainment and shopping options. Easy to navigate the whole complex. Lots of parking options. If going for a big show go early.

If you want to go to an exciting place this is it . The rooms are exquisite, clean and comfortable every request is quickly attended to.
Room service is delicious and available 24 hours. After spending an evening of casino life or one of many concerts . Your room will be welcoming to you . They are quiet so sleep is never disturbed. Mini fridge and coffee makers in every room . I love this place and treat myself to a stay every month I'd give it 5 stars !!!

July 2021
Absolutely breathtaking beauty inside with so much color and earthy feel, you really enjoy just being there. We're not big into casinos but we did come here twice for a few hours while on a mini-vacation staying at a nearby hotel, and played some slot machines and ate at a couple restaurants, of which there are many to choose. MJ23 Sports Bar was exceptional. I've only been to a few casinos in the past but I have to say this one is different. The design is really something special, it's almost like you're stepping inside a big work of art.

Had scheduled 6 months in advance a stay for my girlfriends 21st birthday, had spent over $1500 for one night in their new aspire executive room suites. Was ecstatic and highly anticipated for this event I had planned out, the day comes for this surprise birthday and I drive there ahead of time to check in. The experience for aspire was wonderful, private hotel car valet from the other hotels, private aspire check in and very polite staff who bend the knee at you’re desire. Upon arriving to my room at check out it had looked NOTHING, like the room I seen in the pictures. I had seen a very large room with plenty of space and a bar area and expected the whole package. To my surprise upon entering the room it was nothing more then a remodeled Sky Tower Luxury Sky Suite which I’ve stayed in before and was a lot cheaper then the room I stayed in. I love the aspire experience and everything that comes with it but I was so very disappointed for the room type I was given for the price with no type of reasonable accommodations offered. The difference is drastic in space and quality, the only good thing about the room I received was the entertainment system, the small gifts we received (candy, dream catcher, and etc.) and the option to attend the Thirty Three lounge. Unfortunately I can’t say I will be wanting to risk my money for a overpriced aspire room again. You’ll find below the pictures of what they promised which is what I didn’t get at all.

Went to see Journey in the concert hall. We were fortunate to be in the center even though we were way up. But being across from the stage was great. Can’t imagine floor seating was better. Play/lost at the casino😖but it was a good night.

Stopped in several times over an extended weekend trip to the area. Did some gambling and made our regular donation. There is plenty to do if you do not want to gamble - shopping and eating will keep you busy. The entire facility was very clean. I felt the smoking sections did not have enough ashtrays
There was one entire casino that was closed down for renovations - very disappointing. Also there were other areas throughout the facility that were roped off for install of new equipment.
With that said we always found machines

Guys this is the worst payout in the country, I have been to many casinos... they will not give you comps they won't give you much for loads of money you will lose there. I promise you dont go there you will not win ! The games are set at 82% tops !

We gambled, ate dinner, shopped and people watched. It really is a great spot to hang out for a dreary winter day! The fountains are gorgeous. The decor is fantastic. The shopping is great- lots of interesting high end and middle of the road stores. There is a huge selection of restaurants to choose from. The one huge negative for me is that the casino allows smoking- YUCK! We enjoyed our time there and will return.

Casino was too good enjoyed the game of black jack and roulette. Not very crowded and a must visit in case you love betting/gambling...even if not still one must try once. Mine was a first time experience and would love to go again.

Many penny slot machines and tables to choose from. It was busy at weekend. Buffet was good. Various entertainment were scheduled for Mohegan Sun Arena and Wolf Den.

We visited Mohegan Sun for two nights. We saw 3 shows, a comedy/magic act and visited the auto show. Suzi, the Earth concierge helped us on a few occasions, and helped make this a wonderful weekend visit.

The walk from the parking garage to the game through the casinos is like being in a smoky bar room. I wish they would do something about the quality of the air. The smoke free part of the casino is useless . . .it's just as bad. It's too bad because besides that, the casinos are a fun place. I'm always impressed with how well it's kept up.

I’ve been going to Mohegan Sun for many years and I have always enjoyed my visits there. It’s certainly not Las Vegas but they have a great selection of slots and restaurants. I’ve stayed at the hotel and totally enjoyed it. I’ve eaten at their expensive restaurants and their inexpensive restaurants and enjoyed them. If you go to any casino expecting to win it can be a real letdown when you don’t win but it’s a casino for god’s sake. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

Nice casino, but it's a bit dull, and it's very easy to get lost, and it's very dim. I know casinos are dim, but this one is VERY dim.

What a bust! We came down to Mohegan Sun for a fun girls weekend and we were done with the casino by 11! While it’s very pretty inside, it’s just not as fun as Foxwoods. We were there for approximately six hours (playing continuously) and not one cocktail waitress came by and it wasn’t a crazy crowded night. We also couldn’t find any electronic tables like Foxwoods has. After getting bored with same slot machines, we left at 11, which was not the wild girls night out we were expecting. I definitely will be skipping Mohegan Sun next time!

Always love visiting Mohegan Sun. This visit was for a business conference in the Cabaret Room. As always they do a great job with the accommodations and the food. My room was huge and spotless. A lot of shops if you don’t gamble. Much prefer Mohegan Sun over Foxwoods.

I've stayed at casino hotels all across the USA--atlantic city, las vegas, etc. Mohegan Sun has absolutely the best housekeeping service anywhere. Everything in the room is always perfect and finished on time. The Arena is nice too!

We have come here many times with and without the kids and it’s always a good time. There are many restaurants and shops as well as a kids arcade and arenas for shows. Tons of fun things for everyone to do or just walk around n take in the scene n play some slots!!

...but they would not exist if they were not taking your money.
...and they certainly take a lot of money from a lot of people.
...and there are 6500 security cameras that are continuously recording everything imaginable. Well, not everything, as there are places like inside bathrooms that are not monitored. But, the security room is tied into a network with other casinos around the world that alerts each other of known cheaters and scammers that attempt to make a living, taking casino money illegally.
…and there are two 3,600 square foot penthouse suites on the top floor of the Sky Tower, that are really, really cool.
...and the wall sections of the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby are covered in sections of authentic birch bark panels, while the ceiling sections are fake...… but they look really real.
If there ever was a behind the scenes tour of the casino complex, you might be able to learn about this stuff, and more, like the existence of a 'Great Wall' in the arena back stage where performers doodle on the walls and columns.

We went to Slime Bash 5 on Sunday. It was $20 for each ticket, then another $35 to buy the tokens. But they ran out of paint and other necessary parts of the activities. The slime my daughter made was not the right consistency and we had to throw it out. The lines were crazy long, spent the whole time in line. It was totally NOT worth it. I have nothing bad to say about Mohegan Sun, just that they should never book this event again! Huge waste of money.

Wow. Used to be amazing. 4 of us lost 10k in 4 hours. Nothing as usual. 5 trips in row. Nothing. Terrible. $25 spin bonus won $17. Only bonus of the night. Wow

Went to this casino to just give it a try. It was ok - nothing special for me. Sure it would be nice to go for a show - but just for slots - really wasn't that great. Place is very nice though

This is my favorite casino in the area. Great slots and gaming tables. Clean without being over the top. Great restaurants and shopping so there is something for everyone.

Excellent service and rooms. The area is stunning. All the facilities are excellent. The concierge Joyce went above and beyond to help me with some packages I was waiting for from Amazon.

One disappointed, twice disappointed, third time disappointed. Not inclined to return. The Smoke is disgusting—the ventilation obviously is substandard. Kudos to MGM Springfield for being 100% smokefree 👏 Mohegan should take one entire section and make it smokefree—the players will come! The “smokefree” sections are a joke and one is becoming obsolete for only tables. The slots are extremely tight unless you are playing max bet.

I'm a frequent visitor, and I've got to say some of the drink waitresses are straight bit..es. More than twice in the Sky casino, near the promo area, I've played for over a half hour with no one offering drinks unlike Foxwoods. So one finally comes, but is rapidly walking past. I said excuse me, and she blew me off. So I walked in front of her and asked, politely, if she had a beer. She threw her hand in the air and started babbling that she was serving other people and walked away. I wanted to cause a scene so bad, but had to walk away. Don't count on complementary drinks at Mohegan.

Restaurants, entertainment, shopping, spa and casinos all in a rural setting that can be surprisingly relaxing if that’s what you want.

Went to play a little bit, but slot play areas are very dark & dreary and very silent... not the vibrant, exuberant, exciting fun that was anticipated

The last two times we have gone to Mohegan my husband and I were treated with disrespect at the craps table and the roulette tables. On the craps table an employee took my husbands bet down and then she denied it and the lady "boss" told my husband to watch his own bets. Last Saturday night at the roulette table an employee totally disrespected me and told me I didn't have the minimum $15 bet down. I said "yes, I do!" Count it! Then he started being rude! Really?! What gives employees the right to treat customers like that?! Plus, we get way more for our money at Foxwoods for our play time. Also, charging people $14 to get into the camping show when you are charging vendors $20K plus to rent space. Why not make it free for people?

We lost money , however we still had fun very crowded nice restaurants and shops friendly staff , easy parking , would recommend

I'm not a gambler, so I have no opinion on the gambling facilities, but there is abundant alternative entertainment on offer. Some excellent musical artists have concerts here, so it's well worth staying overnight to see a concert.
My major complaint is the valet parking. I had to wait over 80 minutes for my car to be retrieved, due to the incredible number of people waiting in line. Forget about using the valet service, and self park. Then you don't have to worry about missing your flight

Had a great time here for a quick getaway with my husband . He gambles more then me but there was so many other things to do . Great food bands and entrainment

This year was our choice to spend Thanksgiving at the casino
Mohegan is our favorite for the environment, all the restaurants, shops and for sure for the free shows at the Wolf Den
Always a good place to have fun!!!!!

We were in the area for a very short stay and popped in on Monday Night/Tuesday Morning. I was hoping to play a few quick games and get a drink to celebrate my husband's birthday but was not aware that they stop serving alcohol at a certain time (my bad). We did play a few games and headed back to the hotel which was probably a better idea. I was surprised at how empty the place was and the cigarette smoke was a bit much.

From gaming, eating, events and shopping, Mohegan Sun has it all! So easy to find your way around and staff is super friendly and courteous!

I used to be a big fan of Mohegan Sun, either stayed at their hotel or a surrounding one, or made several day trip several times a year. The hotel is great, you feel like you are staying in a big city where you can just walk out your door and find restaurants, shops, and entertainment within walking distance. Unfortunately, I noticed on my last visit all my favorite dollar slots were downgraded, the minimum bets were raised and the Wheel of Fortune machines have "free spins" on some spaces on the wheels instead of dollar amounts. I feel Mohegan Sun priced the middle class patron out of the casino, unless they want to play .30 cents a spin on a penny machine and waste their time playing without getting a shot at the big jackpot which requires maximum bets. I used to look forward to my visits before the slots were downgraded, but now I probably won't return, very disappointing to say the least.

We prefer Mohegan Sun to Foxwoods and even to all of the other casinos we've visited over the years. The air is cleaner at Mohegan and it has a cozier feel than Foxwoods. I play the slots and my husband plays Black Jack or slots. I find the slot machines to have a better variety of interesting slots to play than Foxwoods. Foxwoods is nice; I just think Mohegan has a more interesting feel and layout. I hope a new Mohegan Sun is soon to exist in northern Connecticut where it will be more convenient for us to visit.

We stayed for three nights and were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The casino is huge with plenty of slot machines. My husband was quite happy with the poker room. Since he has mobility issues I really appreciate that I was able to reserve a scooter for him. The thing that impressed me the most was how genuinely friendly and helpful all the employees were. Everyone, from our arrival at the hotel valet, check-in and dining in the various restaurant made us feel welcome. Prior to the pandemic we would go to Vegas two or three times a year but this trip we decided to stay closer to home and I’m glad we did.

A fun atmosphere. Not a gambler but for me it was a good getaway to enjoy shops, restaurants, etc while friends hit the machines. Definitely on my list to visit as often as possible to get away without having to fly.

Unexpected surprise to find a huge ,beautiful casino with beautiful spaces including indoor waterfalls, so many places to dine with options so plentiful I wish we were staying longer. As with all casinos the only downside is that all casinos continue to be smokers paradise & sometimes this really annoyed & bothered me.

Went for a concert, but hoped to hang out with friends after. Unfortunately, most bars closed by midnight. Had also hoped to walk around and explore, maybe try some slots, but the cigarette (and cigars - YUCK!) smoke was unavoidable. I was coughing all the way to the arena from the parking lot just on the walkways. There was no way I was going near the gaming areas (assume they were worse). Very disappointed since I'd been wanting to visit for years. I definitely won't be going back unless they get rid of indoor smoking.

We live about an hour away and visit about twice a year. We always have a fun time simply walking through the gorgeous facility, shopping and dining. We play a few games and there are plenty of them---but its just a nice diversion, something different. Lots of great dining options, valet parking, great day or night out.

I am a “Soar” level player of their “Momentum” players club. It is the top level and not easy to attain. Unfortunately there is little or no reason to try to renew your player status. There are no concerts and thus no comp tickets. The VIP Check in area, “Aspire” only recently reopened and the hors d'oeuvres and champagne offered at check in are gone (supposedly because of COVID yet they give you drinks on the gaming floor). Apparently serving in the VIP lounge is a danger but on the gaming floor it is ok.
The higher end “Aspire” rooms on the upper floors are still closed yet the hotel has been sold out on more than one occasion.
The valet parking is still closed, supposedly due to COVID. Yet a recent trip to visit someone at Hartford Hospital revealed that their valet is open! The resort doesn’t do it but the hospital does. Go figure.
All of their VIP lounges are closed except one and that is only for Soar members. I managed to get a table once in five visits because the line was almost an hour long. I saved myself money waiting in line.
The lines at the casino cages are also far too long. HINT: Any Vegas casino manager will tell you that people waiting in lines aren’t losing money. Look at a line of 25 high level players and think about how much money they could be wagering instead just standing there. The same can be said of the long lines at the cages. There is no revenue to be had from people waiting in line.
Let’s face it, casinos are there to entertain you. They aren’t designed to give you money. The perks and the entertainment make it worthwhile. Yet even the gaming is different. You don’t get the same amount of play with your money. The sound of jackpots are few and far in between. I only play video poker, perhaps it is just those machines?
The perks are gone, the concerts are gone. The gaming isn’t fun. You may as well throw your money on the floor.

I'm now at Ascend level and in thinking I was going to get every ticket to every event and free rooms any night and a host. Think again!! You get less offers than being at the core level (lowest)... I have a few friends at core level who get calls from a host and say hey if you need anything give me call at there phone number. I've tried reaching out to a host at Ascend level and have been given an attitude about anything I ask for!! The point structure is a scheme!!!!

I enjoy casinos and have been to many, but Mohegan Sun looks, feels, sounds and tastes very different. Yes, it's clean, not smoky, and has good food but most of all it has a general happy feeling. Often both casino patrons and workers have a bit of a "zombie on vacation" vibe which can be a bit depressing. Everyone I encountered at Mohegan Sun seemed generally happy to be there. The staff were helpful and very good natured. We were originally assigned a room on the first floor but upon arriving at the front the desk and requesting a better room, we were immediately given a room with a nicer view on the 10th floor. The person who helped us at check in was fantastic. I wish I could remember her name. All the food we had during our 3 day stay was not only surprisingly tasty but also reasonably priced. The casino area is enormous. Slot machines are fun. Dealers at the tables were nice. All around it was definitely better than my last trip to Vegas. Of course Las Vegas is in a category of its own, but if you want a short casino getaway that's close to NYC, Mohegan Sun can't be beat.

Amazing casino, excellent hotel, great experience, shops and endless restaurant options, I highly recommend it!

Large very clean modern rooms...wonderful staff...great food ...Casino largest in east coast with open tables and friendly dealers

We didn’t gamble but we had an amazing time walking around and taking in the beautiful sites. Place was mobbed but they handled it well.

Rod Stewart was Fantastic and the Venue is a great size. I’ve been to several concerts and events here and there doesn’t seem to be a bad seat! I highly recommend seeing a concert here!

If you want to play the new games you’re going to have to play in a smoke filled room. There are non-smoking areas but this is where all the old machines go to die, Good luck getting a drink . Very unpleasant day at the casino. Definitely wasn’t worth the trip. Things sure have changed.

Always a pleasure to stay at Mohegan Sun. I would definitely recommend you to choose Sky Tower over Earth. Having stayed at both Sky wins it hands down.

Restaurants, shops and so many machines. A bit large and easy to get lost at first, but overall a fun experience.

It’s a casino. It’s smoky, loud, and people look like garbage. If you’re going for a show or some other activity, great. If not, then all there is to do is gamble.

This is our third stay at the Sky Tower over the past 10 years. The hotel is starting to show its age with wear and tear in the rooms and facilities. I booked the “Family Fun” package for Spring Break which came with a $50 dining and $50 arcade credit. On its face, it seems like a good deal but the. When you check out you are charged a $40 resort fee and very high CT lodging taxes & fees. The POOL WAS CLOSED during g our e tire stay due to mechanical issues. It closed about an hour before we arrived and we waited and waited for it to open until we finally asked the maintenance workers who confirmed it would be closed for the rest of the day. We tried to use the smaller pool in the Earth Tower hotel but it was CROWDED. A family leaving the pool saw us and said “it smells like a toilet in there, don’t bother.” Having the main pool out of commission during spring break when you advertise a “Family Fun” package is inexcusable.

We traveled over 400 miles to visit and see a show. We stayed overnight after the show. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The room was clean and neat, over priced, but convenient for sure. We used the valet parking system which was very efficient. When we were there the place was crazy busy, but fun. I suggest you plan your time, especially around meals as it could take quite a bit of time to find a place to dine and stand in lines. otherwise I think you'll enjoy the experience. If you do gamble , get yourself a "player card", so you can earn some points. If its your first time gettng a card ,ask for some free play money, we each got $10.each
If you plan not to return , use the points anywhere before you leave. We bought a couple bags of coffee with our points at Dunkin located inside the casino before we left.

The poor rating is strictly about my craps table experience. The hotel is great, restaurants and food options very good, plenty of slots and what appears to be a significant variety. But an absolute terrible place for craps players. I didn't always feel that way, used to love this house, but they've changed over the years. Craps tables are almost always a $ 25 minimum, and that takes the fun out of the game. It's nothing but a money grab for them. Compound that by the fact that they don't comp craps very well. I get so much more comp at every other casino in the region. So, as far as playing craps is concerned, go somewhere else. I am

Great hotel with great service & a lot of amenities beside the casino. From the moment we arrived until we left the service was excellent. My kids enjoyed the hotel & the restaurant.

Nice hotel with a lot of amenities, shopping and restaurants. It was nice upon check-in the friendly staff member at the front desk offered us cold water bottles- a simple gesture yet much appreciated!
Our room was large, nicely appointed and overlooked a cove. The bathroom could have a up to date shower, rather than a bathtub/shower.
Kudos to housekeeping the hotel/casino and rooms were spotless!

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have endured. I am writing this review at 11:00 at night and I want to go to sleep, but I can't because there is so much people noise coming through my air vent. It looks like it is an air return vent that connects different rooms. I can literally hear what other people are saying. Not to mention the walls are thin as well because I can hear very clearly what is going on in the room next door as well. I called the front desk and they said the only thing they could do was to send security to try and find where the noise was going from, but that was an hour ago and no one has come.
I have to mention too that I have had a hard time walking around the lobby and restaurant area, not to mention the casino area, because of the stench of cigarette smoke. It totally hit me in the face as soon as I walked in the front door. Luckily my room doesn't smell, but I can't stand being in any of the public areas because of the stench. I was here for a business conference and I will be recommending to the event organizers to never return here again. I certainly won't ever come back.

We have been coming here for many years. It is a nice getaway once in a while.
There are many shops and restaurants. We do think the restaurant quality has gone down in places like Tuscany and Michael Jordan. This time we tried Soltoro which was not great. You cannot go wrong with Frank Pepe and Johnny Rockets, albeit not fine dining.
The shops are generally overpriced.
The casino also needs a facelift. The slots are outdated.
The hotel is very nice. This time we stayed in the Earth Tower and had a decent room with a lovely view.
If you are lucky, you can score concert tickets and spend a nice evening.

We had a room in Sky the room was amazing. Cleaning staff was great we asked for decaf coffee and they brought them right over. The casino staff was great. The restaurants are amazing. Only problem we had was hot tub was closed seems it closes a lot last theee times we went but we enjoyed the pool. I highly recommend

June of 2019, Rode the SE Jet out of Orient Point NY. Arrive in Conn to be transported by bus (included In trip price ) to Casino. Double Decker Bus with limited seating below. No consideration for handicapped accommodating. Instead of allowing handicapped persons lower level seating it is first come first seated. Maneuvering the twisted narrow stairway is near impossible. What happened to accommodate the handicapped. The bus driver is not responsive to these needs. It is a sad thing if you arrive and can not manage to be seated. This should not be happening in this day and age. The NON SMOKING area once you arrive at the casino, is so limited. This huge casino has barely zoned off enough area to make non smokers able to enjoy the fun wit more machines made available.. These 2 failures need to be addressed if returning is on my list. Will try Foxwoods next time.

Mohegan Sun was No. 1 casino in US, they make lot of changes to blackjack rules recently, they really screw up this time. It is a big mistake and their business are hurting.
I just came back from the Mohegan today, there were so many empty blackjack tables on Sunday, normally in the past you never able to find blackjack table to play on Sunday.
They just opened a new 10 dollar blackjack pit , they also cut the blackjack payout to 6 to 5, it was 3 to 2 in the past, the march the dealer play was 4 to 1 pay out, now it is only 1 to 3., only the fools will play on 10 blackjack tables. They also using 8 decks of cards instead of 6 decks, dealer will hit on soft 17, not stay on hard 17. All these changes are benefit to the house and bad for the players, they thought they will make more money for the casino, as a result, they scared lot of good and loyal players away from their casino, now Mohegan have many empty blackjack tables all days, Mohegan really screw up this time, especially, MGM will be opened on August 24, these changes will be benefited to MGM. It is hard to believe, Mohegan turns was the best casino and they turned it upside down. Now their loyal customers are so disappointed They may go somewhere else or to new MGM to play and never come back to Mohegan again.

Always have a good time playing slots here. Lots of eating options and live music. Rooms are spacious. Pool area good with lots of room

Nice casino, lots of bars and restaurants and shopping. Bars close at 1 A.M. right when things usually start getting fun.

This place is beautifully decorated in Indian style. Huge place. Lots of shops and eateries. Just take your wallet with you. Kinda pricey.

It was hard to find anything in this place. Trying to find a place to eat. 2 employees sent us the wrong way. They need more map and place them at the entrances not in the middle of casino when someone is ready lost

On a day trip to Mohegan Sun we entered the casino. I went to the video poker machines. First of all, they are few and far between. Second they don’t pay. Third, they are from atleast 10 yrs ago. I frequent Atlantic City casinos and always play video poker. Haven’t seen machines as old as the ones they have at Mohegan Sun. Next trip we go to Foxwoods. Atleast I know they have a nice selection of machines that are up to date and “looser” than the ones at Mohegan Sun.

My spouse and I just did a walk through when visiting the area. The artwork throughout the casino is spectacular. You can tell how much detail went into the place. Cant comment on anything else here, but would think it is worth a stop while your in the area. We were glad we did.

Take your money and burn it. You’ll get more enjoyment then going to Mohegan sun. Slot machines are beyond tight. Read the reviews. The casino is horrible. Tightest slots around. I was a soar member, not anymore. Can’t win a a dollar. Go to Foxwoods, least they give a little unlike Mohegan. Don’t worry they will tell you “fair” gaming. That’s all BS. Deposit and no matter what you play, or when you play, the outcome is the same. Right to 0.00 dollars. Mohegan it’s your loss. Your greed got the best of you.

On a positive note, it is very clean and the staff friendly. Thumbs up for that.
There are smoking and non-smoking sections to accommodate everyone. No shortage of slot machines. I think they have every one you can imagine!
Turns offs: parking was an absolute nightmare. Literally took 45 minutes!
Once inside, it is very easy to get lost. Signs exist but... unless you’ve been there before you have no idea what each named area really is. For example “winter entrance”.. entrance to what? The casino? Garage? Food court? Shopping? There’s no way to know. Thankfully, the staff is very helpful.
Me and my fellow travelers found it concerning that there was an abundant amount of very young looking girls (under 21) walking around wearing next to nothing. Threw up some red flags for us.
Another turn off for some of us was the children in the casino (not in gambling areas). I understand people have children and take them on vacation, however, it kills the mood for adults gambling when you can here babies crying and little ones fighting (right outside gaming areas) at midnight.

We had fun here. Lots of restaurants and shops to try. The casino is very large with a good selection to choose from. Cocktail service was good. The machines were very tight, but that happens wherever you go. We had a lot of fun in spite of that.

Had a ball with my adult daughter. Loved the penny machines. The band that was playing was good. Overall enjoyed Mohegan Sun. I hope to return soon.

This was, by far, one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. From the check-in process, which was seamless, to the bellman who brought up our luggage and made us feel welcome, to the amazing restaurants -- you cannot go wrong staying here. It's vast, so bring your walking shoes. And, if you like to swim, you'll love the Sky Tower pool, it was huge, clean, and had a bar with great service. Not something you often see at an indoor pool. The stay was, in a word, amazing!

Atmosphere isn't what it used to be. They once had sixteen craps tables. Now, only seven, plus one stadium craps table. Got there 11:30 AM on Saturday. Only five tables were open. Table min was still $10 at my table, but at noon they changed it to $15, and $25 at 1PM. They grandfathered players in for their original bet minimum, so I remained at $10. I would not play $25 min. No young players at that min. Also played the stadium craps game, with a $5 min. Real craps table, with player shooting. Not a bubble craps game. . Winning day, but not returning any time soon.

Mohegan Sun is a fast place of various casinos with different themes i.e. summer, winter, spring fall etc. Restaurants are plentiful and modestly priced.. try Don pepe Piza for a greta pie and price.Room s are pricy but well done ins all aspects

We did the 2 day stay tho,g, but at the Hampton Inn, has free shuttle. This casino is beautiful, well designed, and clean....BUT, the smoking is terrible. Both the wife and I tried to stay in non smoking areas, nut it is everywhere. We woke up with sore throats this morning and our clothes stink. Love the place, nut we cannot come back until they decide non smokers are as important as smokers. Too bad they don't keep up with the times, they are a changing.

I had a conference to attend at nearby Foxwoods, and chose to stay at Mohegan instead given my preference and familiarity to it. I havent stayed overnight at Mohegan in about 15 years so it was a good opportunity to do so. I got a great rate on a Thursday night for a suite in the Sky Tower and the room didnt disappoint. It was a nice suite with 2 good sized rooms. Plus a great view with nice amenities. Big bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in shower. And a really good night sleep which is rare for me when I travel as the bed and pillows were so comfortable.
I was little surprised to see how few tables they had open especially ones with normal minimums. What few roulette and blackjack tables they did have open were packed. I havent visited on a weeknight in a long time so who knows if this is typical.
After visiting Foxwoods the next day for my conference, it reminded me why I prefer Mohegan over it. Ambience is better and its just easier to find your way around. Parking garage for the hotel is pretty far off. The ones to casino are definitely closer.
As this conference is an annual one, I will look forward to staying here again

This was our first visit since the pandemic hit. So happy that it is now smoke free!! Hoping as time goes on the bars & restaurants will open earlier in the day. We were disappointed the buffet was closed & were told it is closed permanently. I hope you can bring that & the birthday promotions back!

Stayed here for the first time overnight during the week. It was great because it wasn't too crowded and there's a good chance that the slot machine you want to sit at will be available. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy and I loved the pillows. Great shower products. The only downside was that the neighbors were noisy but other than that it was a pleasant stay and I will definitely stay again

Great place for an overnight visit while seeing an attraction. Hotel is large and the complex has numerous shops, dining, and gambling options. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Staff is very efficient.

20 minutes from road to parking lot. Whatever they are doing they are doing it wrong!!
A total distegard for the fuest experience. If I could have turned around before the lot. I would have.

My wife received $100 off room with show tickets, Outstanding service at check-in, very cleaned room, where I needed to be.
to easy excess to casino, ETC

Mohegan Sun is all that they say it is. There’s something for everyone. It’s clean, decadent, enormous with many outlets for fun. There are many places to enjoy good food. Dancing was enjoyable. Concerts were amazing and this venue picks up great talent weekly. This is a good place to visit a few times. It’s perfect for a friends trip.

Great night out...food, shopping and fun all under one roof. Easy parking...plenty of hoteloptions!!!!

Despite gambling over $5,000 across two days at Mohegan Sun, I did not receive the recognition or VIP service a patron of my worth should expect. Casino staff seemed to turn a blind eye to my significant play. For a resort of your caliber, this lack of attention to high rollers is unacceptable. I anticipated much better hospitality.

We went to the Wolf Den for entertainment and it was great. The band was super! John Cafferty and Beaver Brown Band sounded amazing!

Stayed May 30. Wensday . Booked a suite for $259.00 . I played over 5 hrs, lost around $6;000, playing craps. When we checked out, went to VIP , to get room comped. The girl at the desk , called a hostess ( she couldn’t even bother to come out of office) Her answer , NO, NO ! I lost $6,000 ! Like I said before cheap, cheap ! I can’t Wait for MGM to open in Springfield! August 24,2018 ! Bye Mohegan !

Had a great time playing poker for my birthday and won a slash the pot $100 gift card and split a high hand pot with straight flush to the six! My players card got bumped up so VIP room for great drinks and food! Room for the 2 nights was comped so all and all an outstanding time had at the Mohegan Sun Casino!

We went to Mohegan Sun for part of our afternoon. The casino is very nice and pleasing to the eye. Not big gamblers but there are plenty of shops and things to see. Great place if you are a people watcher.

Love when I walked into the casino area and saw the design of the casino. There are stores and restaurants. It's a nice place to visit.

I wish I could rate the spa and hotel separately because they would get 5 Stars. We stayed in the Sky Tower 28th floor and had an amazing view of the Thames River. The room was comfortable although a bit humid-feeling (the bed linens and carpet felt damp and when the thermostat was set about 70, it actually turned on the heat). We weren't in the room for more than sleeping so it didn't matter to us. The spa was A-MA-ZING. I had an excellent massage and we booked services on our departure day so had full use of the showers, steam and sauna and jacuzzi all day. Which brings us to the pool....It is an indoor solarium and even with the glass doors fully opened to outside, it just is not a comfortable or luxurious area to lounge for the day. You literally bake on the terrace and then to cool off, you go inside to the pool where there are a ton of splashing kids (think Holiday Inn). I wish there was a more resort-like atmosphere and maybe a separate adult-only pool. The service is slow with inexperienced summer staff, the food and drinks just OK and very pricey. The mojitos are the best drink we had - highly recommend. We did see many people bringing their own food to the pool area so they do not prohibit outside food like other places. Overall, it was a great weekend to celebrate a special occasion, just wish the pool was on the same level as the rest of the place.

The Mohegan Sun is not your run of the mill Casino. The resort complex offers a bit of everything. The Casino areas are imaginative, the slot machine areas are spacious & clean. There are many options for food & beverage including a Pepe's Pizzeria with a custom oven so it tastes just like the legendary New Haven Ct pizza. The rooms prices are very high if you do not have the house player's card. There are some very nice, clean hotels nearby if you would rather spend your disposable income on some gambling or shopping.

On December 30 my family and I were attending the Cirque du Soleil at the arena my wife had great difficulty getting to her seat which is on the upper level my daughter approached and employee and explained the problem .Within minutes we were given two seats on a lower level so we can enjoy your show .I would really like to thank Danielle for all the help she did and also kudos to security for policing people that were using their cell phones During the performance

Was pleasantly surprised at our stay compared to visiting Foxwoods. Mohegan is fully open, vibrant, and clean. There are wipes everywhere, partitions for games, and tons of staff around working and cleaning. It was a nice experience after being away from a casino for such a long time. Ate at a few locations on the property and they were fantastic. Couldn't get a reservation for TAO but hopefully one day in the future.

We went for a quick trip 2 nights. I would say one night is enough as you run out of things to do if your not huge into gambling. Great experience and its to see, in a small area.

I have to say I have not been to this casino in a long time. If you avoid the five dollar tables and focus on shows, restaurants, higher stakes gambling and shows-this place is a straight “A”. Saw Tim McGraw, had dinner at Ballo, nice cocktails, hotel was new and clean on floor 29. They even sent me a cake when I mentioned at. Heck in it was my birthday!

We stopped in Mohegan while travelling around Connecticut. This time what really hit us was that even in the non smoking section, the smoke smell was very powerful. The machines seemed a lot more stingy than last time too. Maybe we are just used to the casinos in Massachusetts that are smoke free. I think next time we will try Foxwoods.

I visited the Mohegan Sun Casino recently to see a show in the arena. I spent a couple of hours walking around and was impressed at the number of non gambling things to do. There are a ton of restaurants and places to shop. There seems to be something for everyone. I did spend some time gambling prior to the show. I enjoyed the Race Book and the table games in the casino. The hotel is huge and the rooms were just incredible with all the amenities. I will be returning soon.

The tribe spared no expense in building this casino with the latest slot machines, restaurants and decor. The challenge is that they have many more slots than Las Vegas casinos, and the tables are hard to find. The lights are so low in the Earth casino that you felt like you are under the Earth!
TIP: Great if you like gambling, but there is nothing else around but the casino and hotel.

The hotel is always clean and great-
I had an awful experience at the Hash House and this brought up the fact that the resort is a Sovereign Nation- not under any jurisdiction for any health or safety regulations. The restaurants are not inspected by the Health Department- there are no cleanliness ratings posted. The restaurant employees are not properly trained in professional food service protocols. There appears to be zero accountability for any issue you may experience.
An assistant manager at Hash House served our food and one of the orders was delivered with bacon instead of turkey sausage as ordered- when I pointed this error out to the server- an assistant manager- he reached on to my wife’s plate with greasy dirty clear gloves on and removed the bacon????
I believe to return to the kitchen and serve it to someone else- then he expected her to eat her meal off this contaminated plate?? When I pointed out how disgusting that was I had to demand another plate for my wife. I have never seen anything like this is my 56 years of life. The manager seems to think this is proper food handling? YUK- never eat there again.
I was offered an apology- which I accept- and a gift certificate- which I denied- I would never go to Hash House again and I believe the entire casino has questionable practice as my complaint was not handled with the seriousness it should command considering the COVID environment we are all dealing with.
In my experience- normal protocol would have been to return the entire plate to the kitchen to correct- or
Simply bring out the item that was in error- on a separate plate, which then would have allowed my wife to enjoy her eggs while it was corrected.
The bacon could be discarded later. He removed it to return to the kitchen. I cannot conceive another reson.
I cannot understand why touching her food was necessary.
Let me say that this WAS one of our favorite places to eat in the casino- had my birthday dinner there just a few months ago.

We spent our Thansgiving mini vacation at Mohegan Sun Casino resort. We had such a great time. Kids friendly.

It's not a good way to treat people who are honest and above the line...I have never been treated this way in my life! I left another review about this but not sure it will be shut down from the leverage of casino marketing.!

This place is a must see. One of the most beautiful casinos I think I have seen. Starts with the beautiful view as you drive up to it. The building is gorgeous. Plenty of parking. Lots of shopping and great restaurants. It’s a great venue for shows and sports too. Don’t be afraid to come if you don’t like casinos. Some shop and eat. Absolutely beautiful.

We went here for the first time in a few years and stayed in the Sky Tower. The room was very nice, clean, with no issues at all. Most restaurants and stores were open. There were a lot of new slots we weren't crazy about. But...left with a deuce and had a good time. Recommended!

This place is gorgeous and a bit awe inspiring if you are not focused on the stores and casinos. There is very spiritual artwork all around. The designer did a great job of connecting the buildings to natural elements. Got a bit caught up in all that, with the flowing rivers and waterfalls. Loved my first visit. Looking forward to going back

It is an amazing, fun venue - my absolute favorite casino. Love going there every time. The food is also really good. Highly recommended.

Casino overall was great. By the time I left the casino, I smelt like a pack of cigarettes. This place has great restaurants & shops though.

lots of casino games and every slot game there is. lots of places to eat.lots of shows to watch.. lots of places to shop.

Whether you want to gamble, go to a concert or just get a dinner, Mohegan Sun has it all. Greeat night out with friends for a concert venue!

Very nice casino, I have never come here and lost my shirt so to speak. I always have a good time in this relaxed environment.

Gambled and had dinner. If you enjoy casinos and gambling then Mohegan Sun is a very nice place to go.

So, we were looking for a map. Well, first off, we were looking for the restaurant we wanted to eat tonight. But the place is a circuitous maze with no rhyme or reason, and the layout seems only be created to have people walk by as much gambling as possible. Being that we are here for a convention, and our feet were hurting, we were over walking in circles.
We asked one of the shops for a map. They didn’t have any. They said you had to go to the Player Club. They definitely had on there. So, we tromp on over there, back tracking our step halfway across the casino. We asked for a map. They hand us a mask. We spell out m-a-p. Oh no, we don’t have those. You have to go to guest services. Guest service, which was only a few steps away from the store that sent us on our wild goose chase.
We go into the guest services and the ponytailed kid behind the counter asked us what we need. I said I wanted to complain about the rigamarole we’ve been on. The kid cut me off and offered to call a supervisor. Honestly, I didn’t think I needed to speak to a supervisor, but if this kid didn’t want to listen to me, fine, shove me off on a supervisor.
The call to the supervisor was a bit of comedy. Ponytail gave the job to call a supervisor to the other service rep. I guess that was another job that was beneath him. The poor guy had to practically beg a supervisor to come over.
Finally, two people show up. When we told them what happened, they had a fake look of concern on their faces, nodding every couple seconds, but you can tell the didn’t really care at all. So, I strung it out. My complaining for as long as I could. If they didn’t want to be there at all, the only way I would get anything out of the experience was to make them stay there longer than they should.
To sum up, Mohegan Sun gives bad customer service. Maybe if we were whales they might have cared a little, but since we weren’t they couldn’t have been bothered. Too bad. I was looking to drop some money in the casino tonight. Now I don’t have to.

Mohegan Sun is an impressive property. The facility is beautiful, the staff is great, it is a wonderful experience.
Don't smoke in your room. I normally smoke in hotel room!s, but Mohegan Sun has a system that immediately alerts them when you smoke. Unlike many hotels they will not let you off. If you smoke in your room you pay!
I like it so much that I'll go back and go outside to smoke

Mohegan Sun Winefest 2023
We were so disappointed by the winefest show this year! The price was raised to $150 a ticket. They said small bites were included and larger portioned items could be purchased.
This went terribly wrong. The line for free bites were together with purchasing food lines. Lines were very long and free bites were exactly that super small and not worth waiting on line for. One food vendor gave you a crumb of cornbread after waiting on a 20 person line. Some food venders were running out of food.
There were not that many food vendors and the lines were crazy. Lines for food sold were super long and some items were up to $15-$20 dollars a portion. This is so different from pre COVID shows
My husband and I left hungry
Also the quality of the Wine vendors were definitely not as good as past years. I usually leave with pictures of Wine Labels I want to purchase. This year I left with no pictures, not one.
There were not enough chairs for food demonstrations watching
Hopefully next year they will get rid of free bites and lower ticket prices.

Couple hours from NYC, it's ideal for a weekend getaway .
The rooms are clean, beautifully maintained and the beds are super comfortable (lol)
We lucked out that there was a Live Comedy show the night we were there, so much fun. Tix were $10.
We ordered room service for Breakfast, so we didn't have rush for checkout
Definitely and enjoyable trip

I was really struck by how great this casino was. it was extremely clean and rates up there with any casino that I've been to in Las Vegas. A nice amount of shopping, and the food at the buffet was well worth the time and money.

Awful place
Very rude food and beverage boss on her high horse taking drinks away from people not even buzzed while drunks walk around falling over. Lady was on a power trip

This is the most famous casino resort in Connecticut state. There are 3 casinos in total based on different themes. There are good number of restaurants and shops. Has ample parking space. There are good number of slot machines.

Something different to visit and see and do which their was plenty ofthe people we met along thew way were very helpfull.

We love Mohegan Sun! It's such a great escape from reality.
It's beautiful and well kept. Now during the pandemic, it is immaculate.
There are dispensers with wipes and hand sanitizer everywhere.
The room was really nice and there are so many great restaurants.
We went in July and will be going back in September.

This was a quick Valentines Day overnight date. Had a great time Dined at Bobby Flays . Didn't win this time. However, we will definitely return.

I am not happy that I have written this review about a security person at the Four tops temptation concert. We were asked is we would like to be on the stage to sing with them. I and a long of other partons went to the stage. this person at the front of the stage yelled at me to go back to my seat. I told him that we were told we could be chosen to go on stage. Your security person YELLED in my face "GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT" Other people came up to me as I was going to my seat " please go back to your seat". So all of us who thought we might have been able to sing with the temptations went back to our seats. If the performers were not going to choice people from this audience they should never have offer that opputunity. But your employee had no right to treat me to shout in my face. I spoke to someone who he told me might correct his behavior but that person had me wait for someone else who was going to review the video. A simply sorry that our employee was unprofessional would have enough But clearly he is more important than a patron. will not post my experience on social media. But rest assured my family will know about my and my friend will know about how you and your company handled my situation. This man was very aggressive and I actually said to another security person who asked me to please go back to my seat that this other person needs to take lessons from her. Again I realize that as a company I mean little to you. But this man need to be looked as. Ellen Jettt

I have visited a few times and there is always something to do! Lots of restaurants, shops and gambling. Great place.

Not a long review just a few words we live in Long Island and usually go to Atlantic City and wanting to try something else we went to Mohegan which is about the same travel time and wow this place is big and staying one night if you are a first time visitor will take you a day to figure out where everything is.The hotel is clean and well maintained and employees were friendly and helpful although for us the signage was good I looked several times for security or employees to ask for directions and could not find anyone to ask but we figured it out thus walking six miles our first day although not all inside the hotel casino the rest was the parking garage.(make sure to take a picture of the parking garage location when you park your car) On the way home I asked my wife would you go back to the Mohegan Sun and she said yes and I agree.

Very clean and friendly casino. Everything you need in one area. And very close too the casino is a great "high-end" outlet mall!!!!!

Nice rooms and well decorated. They were comfortable.well located. The front desk was friendly and helpful. if you want to visit the casino then I recommend you stay at their hotel. Expensive if not comped.

Always a great time. Love Mohegan lots to do and see. Clean nice everyone is friendly helpful. Hotel rooms are awesome big comfortable

After years of visiting Atlantic City for years we decided to visit and stay for the night at Mohegan sun. Check in was fast and smooth even for a Friday night. Room was spotless. Casino floor is huge with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Definitely won us over. On a side note, if you’re traveling from Long Island I highly recommend taking the orient point ferry to New London, the casino was only about a fifteen minute drive

Always a great time at the Sun. Minus that the electronic roulette machine crashed and of course I got kicked out of my spot not once but twice!! Guess money saved.. payouts are so so, it's a casino..

The worst play ever the casino in ct and pa will never play with them again they don't make it fun there just greedy facial features deside who win I don't know who's worst Mohegan or Hard rock

2 room suite for a few nights. Large living room, separate bedroom, 2 baths, keurig, fridge. Large soaking tub in one bath. If you get a chance, check it out.

We all like the fact that it's not too big and not too small and there is some shopping and very good restaurants. Everyone was very friendly and the room was neat and clean.

Stayed in the Sky tower. The room was beautiful, modern amd clean. The shower was perfect and the bed was fabulous. Cleanliness is obviously a priority for this hotel.
There is a variety of restaurants for all tastes and cravings.
Two casinos to choose from with a sting of shops in between. Loved the ambiance of then entire site. Patrons taking pictures of the decor was a common sight.
We dined at MJ23, the Michael Jordan Sports Bar. The wings were perfect and the nachos were easily among the best I've ever had. Our waiter was very attentive and the manager even stopped by our table to check in. We will return for wings and nachos. Be aware....the nachos can feed 4. We only put a small dent in the tray of nachos
Fady was our dealer for Caribbean Stud and he was fantastic. Best dealer ever! Very personable. We also enjoyed the National Lampoons Christmas Vacation slot.
My only complaint is that they told me I couldn't stand behind my fiance on Saturday but it was allowed on Friday night. Their rules are not consistent. I should be allowed to stand with my guy especially since only 3 can play at a table and players are spaced out.
Also one other thing missing was upbeat music. There is one section at Foxwoods that plays dance/Pop fin music at all times. I was missing that at Mohegan sun.
We would stay in this hotel again. If you are bringing the kids, there is a bowling alley and an arcade.

I have only been to Mohegan Sun twice and both times were for the Party on the Rooftop concert, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I would only recommend Mohegan Sun for this event. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I do not like anything else about Mohegan Sun. The layout is very confusing. I swear we were walking around in circles trying to find a specific restaurant. We finally found Margaritaville and it was not worth the aggravation! We’ve been to another Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and this one gives the chain a bad name. I’m really surprised with Foxwoods right down the street that Mohegan Sun has lasted as long as it has. It doesn’t even compare to Foxwoods.

We stayed at the Sky tower for two nights for a little family getaway. We enjoyed a show at the arena, ate lots of food, played at the cyber quest, and enjoyed the pool. We didn’t even gamble at all. My seven year old really enjoyed the cyber quest area. There were fun games and virtual reality. It is a bit pricey, but everything there is. One kid there won a PlayStation game console and amazon gift card at one of the games! The pool area in the Sky tower is very nice and has a bar where you can also order food.

I was there for the first time. Very good parking space. Very beautiful inside and very clean. Shops, casino, food court are there.

Went on a Saturday from 4-7 it was extremely crowded and what worries me was I did not see one security guard. It’s a standard casino with gaming, shops, and food. I like coming here once in awhile, but I wouldn’t come frequently.

Used to come here all the time when I had family in the area..... My husband and I decided to come up for our anniversary and it still is a really nice to place to come too and have a couple of drinks. Especially the Krispy Kreme with all the fresh donuts 🤤

Every year they have tribute bands on the rooftop deck over the parking garage. Bands are average. beer is cheap. Nice touch with gas firepits etc. We saw the Fleetwood Mac tribute band and had a blast.

Hotel very nice ,Staff excellent, Food great, shopping a bit expensive for the quality but still good, conference amenities were great, Casino was lively with entertainment, ambiance, and excitement. I especially loved Micheal Jordan's restaurant...great atmosphere and the ice cream shops were very nice.

There is quite a bit for the kids to do. The place is very clean. I did not win anything and i didn't get the 25 shop credit i was supposed to however. And there was a creepy dude incident at the pool...

Always a nice visit.
The place is getting run down with traffic.
Shops are small and specialty with very little foot traffic. Slots were slow.
Maybe I should learn how to gamble.

We went to Mohegan Sun, and really were surprised at how large it is. This is a place you need to spend time (and money) at! So much to do aside from the casino, a variety of shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. My only regret is that we did not stay overnight...next time!

We ate at the Hash House in this casino and then just walked around. SO many nice restaurants to chose from. Plus during the summer they give away FREE T-shirts on Friday mornings only but you need a player's card and your driver's license.

Three of us had lunch at the Irish Pub on the second floor of the casino. It was really good. I had the chili and my wife had the fish and chips and our friend had a cob salad. My dish was the only reasonable sized one. My wife and our friend's dishes were huge. And they were all good.

Parking is free which makes a huge difference to our casino going. Todd English's Tuscany had wonderful food. There are shops that allow for browsing. The concert stadium is enormous, but well coordinated. The place seemed clean and the staff was friendly. This seems like a place to get lost for a little bit.

Our room was immaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable.
The woman who checked us in was pleasant and efficient.
The hotel was a lovely place to stay for a quick getaway.

We like to go for a couple of days every so often. We always have a nice time. It is very clean, hotel rooms are nice and staff is friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!

The thing I appreciate about Mohegan Sun is that there's a lot more to do here than simply gambling. Yes, the gambling aspect of the casino is the primary attraction, but there are plenty of other things: fine dining (yes, really!), plenty of shopping, and an incredibly large arena for a variety of hot shows - I've seen Lady Gaga, Chris Rock, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra all perform here over the years. There's a lot of free parking available to encourage you to stay for as long as possible. I'll add that if you are sensitive to flashing lights or smoke (smoking's allowed here), then you should be mindful of how much time you spend here.

What a great place! Considering I had no idea it existed, I was completely surprised when it was recommended to me while I was in town on business.
Lots of good food. Clean, beautiful facilities. Shopping, etc, etc.
Parking was simple...just make sure you remember where you park and how to get back to that garage.
I walked out with more than I went in with, so it is a win, right?
Main downside? Smoke, but that comes with the territory, I guess.

My wife and I visited for the first time for the Whiskey Union. The event was fantastic and well worth the $50 admission.
The hotel, shops, restaurants, and everything about Mohegan Sun were as nice as anything we've seen in a casino, to include Las Vagas. There was a giant flaw, though, availability of table games. Despite multiple events on a Saturday night, they did not have all tables open. And on Saturday morning there were almost no tables open.
I actually question if they have enough tables at all to accommodate the volume of people the place has. We were so turned off by the fact that we could not get on a blackjack or craps table that I doubt we'd ever return, despite being blown away by how beautiful everything was.

If I could give no stars I would. Ummm c
MSc cruise give away stand in line for 4 hours and have to leave with nothing because the line is still to long!

The Seasons - buffet restaurant offers a wide variety of food. Seafood is good. Their steak is tender.
Then proceeded with slot machines. There is a non-smoking area so you can enjoy your game.

Just spend the weekend here for my husbands birthday! We loved sitting at the bar and playing poker and drinking. All bartenders were perfect. We ate at comix roadhouse and Soltoro. We saw Godsmack on Sunday which was amazing! Unfortunately we lost quite a bit of money gambling but that’s the risk you take. We’ve had better experiences of winning at Foxwoods. Overall this casino is easier to navigate and is more clean than Foxwoods. It has better food options than Foxwoods as well. We’ve never won any money at Mohegan Sun though!

Was here for my birthday, stayed 2 nights nov 15th and 16th, upgraded to a suite very nice. Diner at Tuscany with friends all good, no luck with the slots, but hubby did 😁. Had drinks at the pool bar, very quiet, nice to relax and away from the casino, 2nd night ate diner at summer shack service was good , but food so so, also had breakfast at hash a go go very good.
We will be back

The Mohegan Sun is a beautiful casino with many great restaurant choices and entertainment options for those not interested in gaming. The cigarette smoke does permeate though.

Nice casino, lots of restaurants, clean, outdoor areas, lots of restrooms. MACHINES ARE TIGHT. Played a long time night and in the morning. Just take your money and have a nice dinner, drinks and watch a band.

We visit Mohegan every six weeks or so. Rooms are clean and updated. Casinos are non smoking. Nice restaurants and shops. They have a good flow in this location. Play casinos, eat in the restaurants and shop in the stores, all easy access off the lobby! Enjoy

I love Mohegan Sun but I just can’t visit anymore. The smoke is overpowering even in the smoke free areas. Also, the awesome nightclub Mist is now gone and even if a slot machine is 1 cents, the minimum bet is at least 20 cents. Cyber Quest games were expensive and $50 lasted 30 minutes. Seasons buffet is pretty good. They sometimes give free tickets to events which is very much appreciated. I would go more often but the smoke is now just too much!

Was there for a concert to see Duran Duran. We were nervous about traffic, parking and getting where we needed to be. We got there at 500 in the evening. We scored a parking spot right next to the elevator. We walked around the casino people watching and killing time. We ate at the Irish Pub and then got to go in for the concert. It was amazing venue with not a bad seat in the house! After the concert we headed to the exit and there was no traffic on the way out. Not a gambling group of people but it was a fun night out.

It is fun and many good things to do along with the games and slots. The stores are a little pricey. Very clean and the staff is very helpful.

A place that is so clean as I’ve worked in a family owned Restaurant. I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as Mohegan there well deserved and you always feel safe there because they have everything one can ask for............

If you enjoy occasional casino visiting and you are traveling from eastern Long Island and don't want the uncomfortable trek to Atlantic City hop on the Cross Sound Ferry for a comfortable trip to New London and a short 20 minute drive to the Mohegan Sun.

This was my third time staying at Mohegan Sun for a concert. The staff was great- I definitely appreciated the cold water at check in on such a hot day. The room was spacious and had great bath products.

This place has the worst pay out in the country. I've been to multiple I am multipl Casinos and this has to be the worst layout I have ever seen it is completely confusing to everyone I who 1st visits They seem to only be intrested in taking your money I advice U to go To any other casino.

We just went to the Mohegan Sun and expected to play some time in the "smoke free" areas. The smoke free areas are adjacent to the areas where smoke is allowed and as a result there are no real smoke free areas. It could be called "slightly less smoke" area. The tables are pretty fun but if you want to die from smoke inhalation this is the place!
I wish there was a completely separate building where families can come and play without any smoke. That would be a great idea.

I would never stay there again. Horrible service. I am a high roller in Vegas and I get treated there with VIP Service.

Went with a group of ladies, and we not only had a great time, we felt very safe and comfortable letting loose even into the morning hours. Mohegan Sun is clean, and the focus is definitely on visitors enjoying themselves. We encountered excellent customer service on the casino floor, in the Arena, and in the restaurants and clubs we visited. It may not be as big as Foxwoods, but I’d rather be in a smaller venue that focuses on visitor satisfaction and safety. I think it’s a perfect place for a night out if you’re looking for dinner, entertainment, and gambling!

I love Mohegan Sun environment, but I play slots especially Buffalo games, they gave you free games, but you can get 1000 free games at 4 dollars a play and yet win 200 dollars, I find that ridiculous then you hear of the guy who plays 5 dollars and win 400000 dollars , yes it is game of chance but the machines are set to make you lose no matter if you win 1000 free spins at 4 .50 a spin

This was my 2nd trip to Mohegan sun in 5 months.
My son likes to gamble.
We went to spend time instead of watching TV.
Craps interests me but this trip the tables were choppy. There were no enthusiastic players.
I only like to be in the smoke-free sections. There is only 1.
Personnel I encountered were always helpful and friendly.
Gaming people never look happy to me.
We dined at the seafood restaurant.
Good oysters.
I like the architecture of the place.
But it is a casino built to separate you from your money.
Nice place. May go again.

It's like a Vegas hotel only it's in Connecticut. It has lots of good restaurant choices inside. Probably the most I ever saw for a casino that is not in Vegas. And free parking is always a plus.

This is a very beautiful property with many great restaurants and activities as well as shows he even has a bowling alley in a huge game room there’s so much to do you could not possibly do it all.
However when it comes to the casino the smoke and the filtration system is so aggressively bad that you just can’t breathe if you are non-smoker
This issue really needs to be addressed before I would be able to come back and visit again. Really such a shame.
I do love the buffet restaurant though!

This may not look as a typical review, as we have not visited the casino nor gambled there - we have simply enjoyed looking at it by strolling nearby. Casino complex looks good and make the surrounding area look more attractive.

We went to watch a basketball tournament but you can't help but enjoy the overall atmosphere of the place - I have never seen anything like it !
Plenty on options for eating and drinking - even for shopping.
Then there is of course the gambling in that is for you - all tastes catered for !

It’s like a Vegas Hotel without having to travel all the way there. It has plenty of restaurants and shops and plenty to do. Lots of gaming choices as well. Skytower hotel was amazing super clean and quiet.

On our way to Boston from Philadelphia, we spent a night in Mohegan Sun at the sky tower, it was a beautiful leisurely drive all the way to Mohegan Sun, Valet attendant were very attentive, check in was smooth and fast, even if I chekd in wt a trainee, it was quick, the resort is clean, the rooms, bathrooms, hallways very nice, reminds me on Wynn Las Vegas and Macau, nothing bad to say about the room and the layout of the hotel, they even have a 24 hour johnny rockets in the casino floor, just a suggestion, though I know this restaurant is a concessionnaire, management should at least remind Phantasia staff to be more courteous and polite, to clean the tables more thoroughly, even the in house bottled waster which is free was being charged, of course this restaurant it being inside the establishment also represents the management of the resort, overall, i would definitely come back to stay here

This was my second business trip to Mohegan Sun. I stayed in the Sky Tower again. The rooms were VERY clean, spacious and a pleasure to stay in. The rooms are not cheap here even on a weekday but I don't mind paying a little bit extra for a clean and well kept room. Check in was simple and easy. The only downside was that only one of the self check kiosks was working.
My summit was held in the Sky Convention Center and we took up most of the rooms. It was an incredible and impressive facility. The staff at Mohegan was top notch and just as incredible. It is amazing what they are capable of doing here.
You cannot go wrong at this facility. There is gaming, restaurants, or bars for everyone. I definitely recommend this facility for large business gatherings!

The place was well organized for the event. It was easy to get to and out of. There was lots of free parking.

Always a good time. Staff are great. Easy to find seating. Consession stands are typical venue prices and options.

I go to the Mohegan sun every few weeks. Very friendly staff & good choice in game play. When I vivit I usually play slots & have a bite to eat.

First time there and was shocked at how massive it is. Also had no idea the amount of stores an restaurants that were available. Very pleasantly pleased because I did not go to gamble and that was not an issue at all.

My first time to Mohegan was great. There's a lot to take in, a ton of food choices, and I hope one day to get back down and take it all in on my time.

I visited Mohegan in July 2021, I stayed away for 2 days on 2 seperate occasions. However during my visits I noticed the pit bosses would come over and stare at me when I was winning, it made me feel uncomfortable especially being a person of color. If they cannot accept that sometimes ppl win and are chasing every penny they should get out the business

We were staying in New London with family, but came out to Mohegan Sun and coincidentally the Barrett-Jackson car auctions were going on while we were there. The place is huge, and liked seeing all the shops and restaurants. The display cars were nice to look at and enjoyed my time there.

I have been trying to call this place for 3 days . They do not answer any of their extensions . Are they open or in business? Thinking about staying here this month but if they can't answer any phone lines , do they have enough employees to run a hotel.

If you are thinking this place is anything comparable to any Las Vegas Casino...think again. Everything is so spread out, just to get to one of two casinos was over 2000 steps on my watch. Then god forbid, you are at a table and want to eat because you will be walking again, and again. Everything is meant to have you shopping at some of the crappiest and overpriced stores. THERE IS NO SIGNAGE ANYWHERE! On 3 different occasions we asked for directions from staff and were sent, it turns out, in the opposite direction. First and last time there! I will say the dealers at the tables were very pleasant, but even on a Monday, tables were $25. We got to a Let it Ride table at 9 a.m. and it was $10, so we were grandfathered in at the rate, however, all the tables quickly jumped to $15 and $25 but early afternoon

Well I'm from Maine so all I've seen for a casino is Oxford Casino so this place was amazing for me. Granted, myself and the two other people I went with all lost, we had a blast. The dealers were really friendly which I wasn't really expecting. Some of the slots are so huge and exciting! I love that they have tables with smaller minimum bets. Played a lot of $10 blackjack but also tried out a $25 table. All of the employees I came in contact with were really awesome we talked with one dude for 15 minutes. Also you can smoke inside at designated areas!! Never experienced that so it really blew my mind. Not only is the casino huge and magnificent but there are shopping stores all throughout it! As well as food! Everywhere! Chick-a-filet, ice cream, sushi, bobbly flay restaurant, Michael Jordan sports pub, such an awesome place honestly. I wish I could go back every weekend. A++ visit

Folks, We highly recommended not to go to Mohegan Sun because they didn't give us enough payout! My wife and I went online and got the financial statement for Mohegan Sun from March to July 2019. Guess what their revenue went down this year.

Occasionally stay overnight but visit the casino almost monthly. Plenty of good places to eat and the always clean and friendly. No need to go anywhere else.

The casino complex is huge and gorgeous. Lots of places to eat and shop. The poker room is good. The staff is solid and the drinks are free.

We like to go to casinos for the variety of live table games as well as slots. Mohegan has plenty of each though we were there on a Sunday afternoon and couldn't find a roulette table under $25. Needless to say we payed slots.

Always a fun trip. Great place to go solo, with the family or as a group. There’s lots to do for all ages. The arcade is great and there is a kids care center located inside.

We saw this deal on Groupon and thought it would be fun for my friends birthday! It is fabulous ! We had a great view of the river. The private Butler was awesome and left us cake! Had I known I would not have had dessert. My friends were giving champagne on arrival however I was not. The food in the private area was good however I was not able to eat much due to food allergies and when I mentioned this to them and asked what was in the food, they didn't offer to make me anything etc. They had sandwiches which is fine however I was under the impression that it was more high end dining not a buffet. The wine selection was fabulous and they even have private gambling area which alone makes it a nice treat. They could have used another server to keep up with everyone although service was fine. I had to leave in the am before my friends and I was greeted warmly by everyone given a water and oj and grab a muffin for the ride! The valet service and other service was excellent. It said 3 daily meals however we only made it to 2. The arrival gift is very nice however you might be fighting over it if you not a couple :)

We are from NYS. What an absolute beautiful casino! We have a few Upstate near us but nothing can compare to this. I felt safe, and at times in a whole other world. Didn't play but we walked away and grabbed some eats at different locations. Just beautiful.

My mom and I drove up from VA to check out this casino, and Foxwoods. We went to Mohegan Sun the first night and loved it. After checking out Foxwoods the next day, we decided that Mohegan Sun was better, and went back for the rest of our trip. It was large with three casinos in one. It wasn't overcrowded, so we were able to go to any slot machine we wanted. We would definitely come back to this one.

Conference Hall is large for exhibits and many rooms for classes. Plenty of restrooms and space outside largest function halls to mingle. Many different places to eat with a range of prices to please everyone in your organization if not offering food.
If you are having catering done by them expect topnotch food and service. Looks like it would make a great wedding venue also.

We were lucky enough to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary at the Aspire Level of Mohegan Sun and it was heaven ! From the moment you check in with designated check-in area and valet until you check out, you feel like royalty. We received a call a few days before arrival from the Concierge asking what special requests we might have including dinner reservations, etc. and she set the tone for the entire experience. The lovely woman that checked us in was so gracious as was the "bellwoman". Our room had a view that could compare to no other and it was immaculate and spacious. Thirty-Three, the complimentary hospitality lounge that services the Aspire rooms is absolutely wonderful and the staff at Thirty-Three go out of there way to make your stay memorable. Thanks to Mohegan Sun and Aspire, we had the best 40th anniversary possible. I would also like to say that Mohegan Sun is in itself a wonderful, clean venue with many restaurants, stores and entertainment venues.

Nice place, fairly close by, always clean with friendly people who work there. Plenty of gambling options, shopping, and dining places as well. Too bad I never win though!

Mohegan Sun is a world-class facility with wonderful restaurants and places to shop. The entertainment and sports events are top-shelf. However, don't expect to win much (if any) on the slot games. The machines are extremely tight and from what I've heard from others, the payouts are among the lowest in the business. While we'll still visit for dinner at places like Pepe's Pizzas, we're saving our money for the new MGM in Springfield.

There are so many things we looked to list here. I only wish we lived closer. Atlantic City is near our house, but can't compare.

Was going to plan a trip to Mohegan Sun until I read that smoking is allowed on the gaming floors. No way, based on prior experience in smoking casinos. the areas are dirty, smoky and disgusting. Would rather travel to another casino where smoking is not allowed on the gaming floors. It also is not fair to the workers that have to be there and be held hostage by smokers and their filthy habit.

Room was lovely and clean. Staff was friendly, professional and hospitable. However, on the second day of our stay we were out all day. Upon our return to the room, we were surprised to see that the maid had not been in. I called the front desk to see when she could be expected, and was dismayed to learn that multiple night guests did not receive housekeeping services. I was outraged, and would not have stayed for two nights had I been aware of this policy. I was told a supervisor would contact me, but this did not happen. Poor service from such an expensive, supposedly high quality hotel!

Attended a work retreat. My room was clean and had great natural light. The pillows were super comfortable. My room was in Aspire tower and very quiet. It was terrific to have access to the restaurants on site—Michael Jordan Steakhouse had fantastic martinis. The bartender at Tom’s Watch Bar was very friendly and helpful. She made a terrific lavender lemon drop martini. We also liked the dumplings and shumai at Phantasia which closes late night.

Ive been going to casinos (mostly in Atlantic city) for almost 30years, and I had no idea a hotel/ casino could be this wonderful! The check in process was perfect, you can check in the morning of your stay via the email they send you. When i got to the hotel, i just scanned the bar code from the email that confirmed my room was ready and the machine spit out our keys. Seamless. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the ‘clean’. It was one of the cleanest, most well organized hotels ive ever been in. We stayed in a sky suite and the room was impeccable. Large, clean, well appointed. It had a sofabed, another sofa, table and chairs, chaise, king size bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 flat screen tvs, refrigerator, mini bar and a great view. My daughter is disabled and there was plenty of room for her wheelchair and supplies. To be honest, I haven’t been this pleased with a hotel stay in a while. There are 2 huge casinos with alot of fun slots, which were a little tight, but we had a good time regardless. Buffet was great, lots of variety. Food court area had lots of great lunch spots. This place is huge, so be prepared for alot of walking. My daughter loves going for ‘walks’ so this worked out really well for us. My teen son loved the pool in the skytower. Theres even an arcade for the kids. Really nice place and i definitely plan to return soon.

I came to see what people have been talking about. It felt like I was entering an airport with the large well-marked highway directing travelers to various parts of the resort. I chose one of three multi-story parking garages and easily found a place to park. The signs clearly marked the way to the entrance and included a sign to be photographed so I could remember where I parked. Everything inside was quite spacious with Indian-themed decorations throughout. It did have an ever-present cigarette smell, but wasn't overpowering or visible as in other places. I just kept walking and found the shopping & restaurant area as well as numerous other casino areas. I became quite overwhelmed until I finally found a map directory so I could understand how it was laid out. It seemed like everyone else knew where they were going. I noted many signs pointing to areas that I want to explore next time (I prefer the card games to computerized screens). I imagine it can get quite crowded and fear quite smokey, as well. It was all accessible and toilets were well-dispersed. I spent no money & enjoyed lots of fascinating walking. The variety of bars & restaurants was overwhelming; I now understand why people stay in the adjacent hotel.
Not a good place for non-smokers
The problem with the casino, besides losing your money, is that it's a refuge for smokers. Even though the casino has massive air handlers, the pall of cigarette smoke is unbearable if the casino is at all busy. Sure there's a non-smoking casino but by the time you walk through the smoking part to get there, you'll reek of cigarette smoke anyway.
