Lady Gaga Concert

By lbourinaris |

All I can say is WOW. Great area & show. Staff was excellent and moved the crowd very quickly to seats and during exiting. Clean bathrooms, liquor for sale and food but of course pricy. I was impressed with the concert and that this arena could handle all of the pyrotechnics involved.

Best Arena

By eesterley |

This is my favorite place to see concerts or fights.
Not a bad seat thou I never sit up high. I love Mohegan Sun

Great shows!

By JudyVanZilen |

Have seen many great shows here, Trace Atkins, Tony Bennett, Kenny Rogers, and a few others. No bad seats, good acoustics, plenty of concession and beer stands. Fun place.

Great concert venu

By Gregory L |

Great arena for basketball and other sporting events If you are going to a concert there are really no bad seats The floor seats are the least desirable

Doo Wop and Memories!

By tweety3380 |

We just went to the arena to see Bowzers Doo Wop Show. It was EXCELLENT!!! 3 1/2 hours long with a 15min. break. We saw sooooo many good old groups that brought back sooooo many good old memories. We sat 'on the floor' area and with the height of the stage it worked out well. Actually I looked around and most any seat is good except the closest sections on either side of the stage and the ones WAY HIGH UP. The ones in the middle and on the floor are all good and I don't think you can go wrong. They do have two very large screens on either side of the stage that show the performers close up. You can buy beverages, beer, wine and sodas and snacks just outside of the seating area. There are lots of 'ushers' to help you with your seating, etc. Its very clean and the seating is pretty comfortable.

Great location to see a show or event

By Travelbugsforlife |

Have been here for 2 concerts and 1 lacrosse game. The arena is clean and has good concession stands, and I don't think the prices are too bad. Staff is always friendly. Seating is comfortable and views are good from most seats. We did notice some of the higher up seats on the first level don't have cup holders, which is not as convenient. The other nice things about this arena is the ease of getting in and out of Mohegan, the plentiful parking and the access to so many good quality restaurants for before or after an event meals.

Favorite concert venue

By Steve |

While it's usually difficult for the average joe to score good seats to this concert venue, it's still one of my favorite spots to see a show. Typically I end up with upper tier seats when I go here, but as the arena is not all that big, even upper seats are good seats. My favorite thing about coming here is that it's attached to the casino and hotel complex at Mohegan Sun. Unlike pretty much any other venue, you can arrive early and take advantage of the many great restaurants in Mohegan Sun, then when the show is over, instead of having to head right to your car and fight the traffic leaving the show, you get to walk right back into the casino for some gaming or clubbing or shopping, then leave at your leisure.

Nice Arena

By Stephanie D |

The arena is very nice and provides good views for shows. I saw a concert here and did not have any issues with seeing the stage.

Can't beat it

By Peggy B |

Great shows, verity, something for everyone, safe clean environment , and after You can play, go to dinner, and enjoy Your friends all in one place.

Move Beyond Tour - Julianna & Derek Hough

By Cathy G |

This was a great show with a lot of talent. Both Julianna & Derek sing during the show. Derek also tap dances and plays the drums. This tour is traveling around the US for the month of May and part of June. This is there third tour and we have seen them all. If you haven't seen their show, catch it while they are still touring. Mohegan Sun does a great job with the lighting and sound.

Good Acoustics

By Greg318 |

We saw Straight No Chaser. Arena is big but you didn't feel too far away from the stage. Seats aren't terribly comfortable and they are packed in. Only one entrance and exit so took a long time to leave after the show.

Derek Hough live your

By Becky123q |

Went to see Derek Hough with my friend. He was performing at Mohegan sun arena - we liked him on tv - Dancing with the stars and World of Dance. So we decided to see his live solo tour. It was absolutely fabulous! We were very glad to have gone to see it! Although it’s a solo tour. He very much expressed how he - even with his great talent - he could not do it without his magnificent crew of Dancers. He praised them for doing such a great job! It was exciting to watch all the dancers and performances ! If you get a chance— in what ever state you live in - to see the Derek Hough Live solo tour- please do so. It was a great evening - enjoyed by everyone in the audience- they all got several standing ovations !!! It was a great time had by all!

Very surprised at how large it was

By TMC159 |

First time visit. Nice seating. Very large location very clean. Definitely worth going to a show. Very professional and friendly staff

Daughtry Concert

By donnal162 |

We enjoyed the Daughtry Concert! The venue was very open and the seating was wonderful! The opening act Sinclair was really good too!

Nickelback concert

By nckun8 |

This is a great venue. Not as big as Prudential center or Madison Square Garden which is great. Located within the Mohegan Sun complex so it's great if you are staying in hotel like I was. Acoustics were very good, better than the above mentioned venues. Prefer coming here for concerts and making a stay out if it. Would recommend staying in Aspire tower.

Great Arena!

By KKB6103 |

Saw the Game of Thrones Live concert here. Great arena! On the smaller side as far as arenas go, but that's a good thing, since every seat is pretty close to the stage. Sound was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Bathrooms were very clean and there were plenty of them. Parking was a little rough. Get there early enough so the closer parking lots or the valet aren't full.

Not Too Big, Not Too Small

By Kay Cou Kru |

Perfect size for a concert. Not a bad seat in the house! They need more bars though, and spread out more as the bars on the main level were PACKED because it was too close to,the souvenirs, concessions, etc. Workers super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent venue

By Ralph 2188 |

Just returned from watching the New England black Wolves/ New York Riptides professional Lacrosse game and had a woderful time. The Mohegan Sun Arena seats around 12,000 people and is an excellent venue for watching sporting events and concerts. Virtually every seat is a good seat and the area has a large professional staff who are very helpful to all patrons.

Bruno Mars

By Sherlonda A |

Awesome arena, smaller than some and therefore excellent views even from our seat which was not on the floor. Had seats in the section to the right of the stage and just off the floor and the seats were fantastic! Would love to go to other concerts at this venue!

It is very nice, the overall atmosphere seems less than exciting.

By Gumfork |

Really enjoyed the opportunity to shop in the attached mall. The casino's were average I guess, like I said above the atmosphere seemed like people were not excited, almost bored with being there. The wait staff was happy to see you, when they got around to you. It was clean and not overtly loud.

Great place to see a show

By Tony Spangenberg |

Small arena, not a bad seat in the house. Easy to get a drink during the show due to the small size, no lines at the bathrooms. You won't miss much if you have to step out. Great sound, great site lines. No complaints....

Great concert!

By mkchick2018 |

Took my niece to a Thomas Rhett concert. It was really great, she had a ball. The end had confetti guns shoot out which was so fun to watch. I swear Thomas Rhett had trampolines in his kicks. He was so sweet going out into the crowd and even singing happy birthday to a girl. Such a good time.

American BasketBall Tournament

By ctjustdoit |

I have seen several sporting events here. It is really a great facility. Clean, lots of bathrooms, comfortable seats, not to steep a rise. Not really any bad seats . The only downside you have to walk through the smoke filled casino to get to it so a laundry is required each time I go.

Great venue

By SUSAN L |

We get free tickets (mostly oldie concerts). You can see from practically anywhere in the arena except if you have floor seats- they you will probably have to stand the entire time. Staff is helpful getting you to your seat.

Excellent venue for a show!

By AprilsAlias |

The staff were plentiful, polite, and helpful. The seating was arranged well and it seemed that all seats had a good view of the stage. The parking was easy, free, and close. It wasn't difficult to get in our out afterwards, even with the huge crowds leaving the show. We'll definitely be back to attend another show here. We attended the Halsey concert Sept 2017 and had such a great time!

Stevie nicks and the pretender

By Riobin731 |

Live the arena. Mohegan has great venues they don't seat anyone behind stage during concerts. You can see from everywhere b

good views all around

By luv2travelworld2013 |

We won tickets from a radio station for a comedy show. We were actually in the very last row, way up high. It really didn't matter. We could hear everything. We could see him in the monitors if we wanted a bigger view. The venue is not so large you feel overwhelmed. I would love to see a concert here. It feels like you will still be a part of the action.

What an amazing place!

By Myra Conover |

We went to attend a concert at the Wolf Den, and had dinner and a great evening. Also got some Krispy Kreme donuts to take home with us. Will return to see who else is playing there.

nice.

By Kris W |

i have been to some of the shows. the arena is big, so there is plenty of seating. it is very comfortable, and clean.

The Tenors

By Martyfog |

Excellent venue to showcase ALL shows. The seating is arranged exceptional to provide an EXCELLENT VIEW. I have NOT been to a show yet where I was NOT satisfied.

Great Venue

By BusterBusBus |

Went and saw Boy George and our seats were amazing. I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. The sound was amazing. The seats were comfortable. The employees were so friendly and helped us to our seats. I can't wait to go back and see another show. This is one of the best venues I have been to in a long time.

Terrible acoustics ... a giant audio fart

By Scenic320963 |

I will never see another rock concert in this arena.

Not sure if it is the Ariana Grande audio team or the venue but the thumping base was SOOOOO overpowering that it was like a constant fog horn that drowned out the music.

Not a big but clean base sound but a muddy rumbling that that was audio garbage. It was a real shame, she sounded good but the concert was a painful mess that I could not wait to be over. I did not even say anything to my daughter because she was so excited but when my wife asked how it was she even volunteered that there was this big base sound that just vibrated and made it hard to hear the music.

The audio engineers need to sit in different spots and hear what they are presenting, can not imagine any sensible professional would have felt good about what they were putting forth.

Jason Aldean Concert

By msalonger |

Arena was great! It was super quick to get in and to leave especially after a fully packed arena with not many entrances/exits. Would definitely go back!

Large Enough!

By Reasonable50 |

Clean well run arena. Especially good for concerts. Floor seats are close and worth the coin but please be aware that they are tight. Would not recommend the floor if you are large or wide shouldered. Sit on the sides for more comfort.

A great place to see any show

By David G |

We love the Mohegan Sun Arena there is no bad seat in the entire Arena we've seen numerous shows and events there we recommended highly intimate yet very large

Great Arena

By Roy S |

One of my favorite venues to see live performances. The arena holds about 10000 people so you get the feel of a large crowd but no seats are too far away from the stage. We like to get there early and hit the casino for a little bit, then have dinner at one of the many great restaurants that are literally adjacent to the arena and then see a show. Its a great time no matter what you go there to see.

Soul 2 Soul Tour

By Debbie N |

Went to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Soul 2 Soul Tour. Great Show. We had seats which I lovingly call nosebleed seats. The view was still good. The Arena's size is just right so that every one is happy. Acoustics are good. However next time I will try to get different seats due to my fear of falling 😏

Came for a concert!

By HollyY24 |

I traveled from the Capital Region in NY to see a concert. I was 6 rows on the floor from the stage, next to the cat-walk. The acoustics were decent on the floor; I don't know about the higher seats, but it's a fairly small arena. I would recommend a floor seat if possible, especially if you're looking for better sound. Was a little disappointed when I got a drink right outside the arena for $8, paid with a $50 and got incorrect change :( just didn't go back to that vendor - she clearly wasn't good at math and shorted me quite a bit - so that was probably the most expensive drink I have ever paid for! ;)
Arena is non-smoking, but saw several people smoking weed and cigarettes a little higher up in seating - security didn't appear to be enforcing this non-smoking rule.
Will definitely be back, since it's also right inside the casino (which unfortunately smoking IS allowed), but there are neat shops to pop in and look around.

Ed Sheehan!!!

By ogerkan |

Great show at a great venue. The area is around 10,000 seats so it is a bit more "intimate". Good offerings of beers and a bar or two. Food is also served.

SYTYCD tour

By Marie H |

The person who gave us our tickets definitely did not understand the seating —especially if one is watching dancers who perform a lot on the Floor. We were given “floor” seats and it was very difficult to see their moves. Would have been better to choose any section instead of floor—poor direction from staff as we asked if we could see the stage floor and were told yes. Not true. PLEASE LAMINATE YOUR SEATING CHART TO BE WITH EVERY WORKER ASSIGNING SEATS. TIme is wasted, you are creating frustrated clients, and each transaction would go much faster and smoother by having this.

Bryan Adams

By hjbjd |

Last evening we saw a Bryan Adams concert with friends. We were seated centrally, just two rows up from the floor. In my opinion, this is a great venue. Due to the smaller size, all seats are great. Not only that, Bryan Adams was amazing!

Put your bags in the car

By TheGreekInCT |

We had to check a bag of stuff we bought when we arrived. The only issue was that where we checked it and where we had to go find it was two different places. They really should have mentioned that when they required the bag check. It was free.

Great venue for a concert

By nutmegger31 |

First time to this arena. We all agreed it's just the right size for a concert - not too big, not too small.

Concerts

By Joanne B |

We have seen many concerts this year and I have to say I have enjoyed every one. Staff is always pleasant.

Frankie Valli Concert

By Ron P |

We went to the Frankie Valli concert and had a great time. easy to get in and out and there is not a bad seat in the house.

Great arena for sports or concerts

By tullio7 |

This is just a nice place to attend a sporting event , or concert. Have seen Connecticut sun Basketball. Chicago, Frankie Valley and Tim McGraw there! There are so many places to eat inside and plenty of shops as well as gambling! The arena is clean, the staff is pretty nice and not a bad seat anywhere!

went to see a concert peter frampton

By Happiness |

we had an excellent time as alwaays . The seating is very comfortable, thr sound is excellent and the employees are very curtioous and helpful.

Fun concert

By Barbara C |

We saw country artist Jason Aldean at this venue. Nice size for a casino and more intimate than other venues we have seen the same performer at. We sat in the upper level and could easily see the stage. They had a lot of drink options within the venue and many places to eat and drink outside of the venue within the casino.

Great Jeff Dunham Concert, Arena’s Signage Horrible

By AuntieDee |

Jeff Dunham started his show (which was amazing) around 7:00 PM, doors opened at 6:30 PM which makes it difficult to go through security, get food and find seats. Everyone in lines ordering food, merchandise and drinks is crazy. We found it difficult to locate our floor seat section. Seat sections were located on walls around arena, can be a hike. Floor seats were located at a escalator with only a small sign near escalator that you can’t read because of crowds. This was our first time at Mohegan Sun Arena, hopefully next time will be better.

Great venue for shows

By Gregory L |

This is a great venue for entertainment and sports. Very cognizant of security. Ushers are extremely helpful and have never seen anything get out of hand here. Love the arena and love the shows

Great show, sound system sticks

By TTTravels |

So lucky got to see Toby Keith. Section 26, side stage. Great spot. The sound in here is not great, the music over powers the artists voice. This is my experience everytime I see a concert here from any seat. They really need to fix this

Theresa Caputo Live The Experience Show

By Nicole P |

Went to show & it was amazing. The arena seating was ok. The seats aren't that comfortable but staff are great at helping yo find your assigned seat.

Great Maranda Lambert Concert

By JohnMcko |

We saw Maranda Lambert in concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The seats were fantastic and the sound was very good.
The concession stand's prices were very reasonable compaired to other venues.

excellent venue

By missy53 |

Saw Patti Labelle here. Great arena, great sound, highly recommend. We have lousy acoustics here in Florida at the BB&T, so this was a great change.

Small intimate arena. Every seat is a good seat

By nicole_chelli |

Came for a concert on Valentines, the casino was already busy because of the holiday. We parked at the Winter Garden garage/parking lot and found that was the easiest entry for us to get to the arena. This was my first time at a concert in this arena. I was very impressed by how intimate it was and how it seemed every seat was a good seat. It was very shocking that a regular sized beverage, not even a 16 oz, was a whopping $12, which deterred us from having more than one drink. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful.

Wonderful Venue For a Concert

By Gene N |

We attended a concert here last night. And they finally got it right with respect to admitting people into the arena. Used to be you would wait in a very long line to pass security and get admitted. This time was a breeze and only took a few minutes. Not a big place but the acuostics were excellent. Easy to get out as well.

The Sun game

By Linda S |

Great games and fun to watch.we got t shirts, watched halftime activities and got refreshments . We did a lot of cheering and screaming. The girls have been really playing very well.

Long wait

By Christine S |

Went to concert last night. Supposed to start at 7. It started at 8. It seemed like a lot of people weren't there until 730 so I don't know if venue was waiting until Arena was full. Once it started there was no mention of the hour wait. . I would think twice about attending another concert there.

Florida Georgia Line Concert

By Frank C |

Venue is very nice. Really not a bad seat, even the "cheap seats" have a decent view. Sound was not overwhelming loud to the point where you child not enjoy the show.

Great Concert Venue

By Nahantman |

Our second concert here in 6 months. Bought tickets both time through Ticketmaster. With all the people, staff does smooth job with security and getting you in. Sat in section 110 both times. There's not a bad seat in the house. Sound system excellent. Plenty of vendors for beer & food. No issues at all. Enjoyed it here.

Always a good time!

By Bob4558 |

We are only about 2.5 hours away so we get to Mohegan a couple of times per year. We always enjoy the atmosphere. It's a great place to visit, excellent restaurants and good table games. The hotel rooms are great and the place is spotless.

Great sound system.

By Steve P |

Excellent lighting. John Mellencamp rocked the place and paired with Carlene Carter for the Sad Clowns and Hillbillies 2017 tour.

Great place for a concert.

By babbling50 |

This was our 1st time going to a concert at this arena. It is smaller than most places we have been to.
Wow..the layout is great and there was not a bad seat there. I am now a big fan of smaller arenas! We felt like it was just a big friendly get together!!

Every seat has a good view of the stage

By Debra S |

I saw Jason Mraz and Jeff Dunham here. The acoustics are great, the sound level is perfect (not too loud or soft), and every seat has a good view of the stage. There can be a very long line to get in which is slowed by security pat-downs and checking your purses. Smoking area and escalator needs some signage. You are personally escorted to your seat which is a nice touch.

Fire hazard

By Frank N |

Nice arena, comfortable seats, good view from anywhere
Exiting the arena is a mob scene. Security actually held people back from the escalator and stairs exiting the floor seats because the mob trying to exit back into the casino wouldn’t allow egress. Yet there was no sign of security moving people away from the arena entrance. If there is ever a problem it will turn into a disaster

Dancing with the stars tour

By Lisa D |

Clean arena. My seat was partially blocked by a pole so I had to lean to one side or mother to view the show. The seating is good , the seats in front of you are low enough that no o be blocks your view. Beware they mostly have cash only vendors

Great venue for Barrett-Jackson Car Auction!

By DAS_2009 |

The Mohegan Sun arena and supporting facilities provided a great venue for the Barrett-Jackson car auction. The parking garage next to the arena was used to store the cars going up for auction and make them accessible for visitors to walk around and get a really close look. It was great to see so many rare and exotic collector cars! The arena was comfortable and the lines of sight were quite good. The temperature was comfortable. The tents and other areas set-up around the arena provided space for many interesting exhibitors.

Kiss concert

By kathy h |

This arena has the best sound quality for concerts and all of the seats have great views.i have been to several concerts and in my opinion it's th best place to have entertainment and its very convenient to have the casino and hotels in th same complex

extremely unhappy concert goer

By David H |

The supervisor and security are screwed up at security point to go into the venue any woman or men who have wallet with chains and purses with chain straps or big buckles save your time because of my wallet that had a chain on it I was told that it could be used as a weapon and they allowed several woman in to the arena with purses with chain straps and jewelry that could be used as a weapon and that that I could either hand over my wallet or leave by the supervisor and I looked at him and said I will not hand my wallet over to a complete stranger and I said I am leaving

Great Venue

By Demian L |

Hard to get a bad seat in here. & If you buy tickets at the arena box office you save on fees! Great sound also. The only negative is the concession lines clog up the main & ONLY hallway around arena. Makes for VERY difficult moving around. (Makes no sense for such a great venue to have one of the worst fatal flaws is mind boggling.

No consistency here.

By StefJK |

Recently went to see 2 concerts. The sound was good. Sight lines were excellent. Seating was OK, as it has always been. The first concert had strict no pictures/video policy which was announced numerous times prior to the concert. I was let in and I had my tablet in my purse. Used it to finish my paperwork for the day and put it away. Concert was excellent.
One week later, same venue, same purse configuration, my tablet was confiscated and I was told that it was not allowed. I had to walk it back out to the car and leave it there.

IF the worry is recording devices, then the higher ups should be more worried about the cellphones that people carry which can and do record professional video and audio(think vlogging. Tiktok etc...)and with a few tiny discreet accessories they have the ability to get a very polished product.

Get your act together and realize that a $1000 + phone has more/better video and picture capability than a $50 tablet. AND during both shows I witnessed plenty of pictures and videos being taken and NO enforcement....

frankie vallie

By peggysorr |

went to a concert there. not my first one but first time i'm writing a review. we had floor seats which were nice but if given the choice we will always get the first upper section. i think you can see better from there. but really i'm not complaining it was great and the arena is terrific! real nice place. my fourth time there
love it

Black Wolves Lacrosse

By Nikki B |

Fun times at the Black Wolves Lacrosse games located In Mohegan Sun Arena! We love taking our teenagers to these games!

Sting Concert

By Terry O |

For an indoor revenue, it's a solid place to see a concert. We would love to have had seating down front, but what is normally the lower mezzanine area, is standing only. If you want seated viewing, your options are around the perimeter. They're comfortable, and our seats were very good, unobstructed, and as close as you can get, but not center.
Being in the same arena to hear Sting live is fantastic, and the show, including his son, Joe Sumner, was amazing. I just wish I could see them straight on, without having to look at them with a monitor.

Great arena for a concert!

By Mer1001 |

We saw pentatonix here last December and besides them being AMAZING, the Mohegan arena was awesome!
The sound, the seats and the bevies!
I don’t think there is a bad seat in the place and I would DEF return to see another show here.

Best Place To See A Concert

By Tessa1820 |

We go to many concerts. Mohegan Sun is my favorite place to go. Smaller arena, great view from most seats, the upstairs seats are great-not nosebleed, no drunk teenagers. It’s a great venue.

Best Maritime Museum

By rapplegate2016 |

Extensive collection of all aspects of ships, fishing schooners, sailing craft, and shore support, maritime art.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill- fabulous

By IP3806 |

Went to see Faith and Tim in what turned out to be a great concert. The arena is very well laid out- good sight lines from all locations. We sat on the side in section 16. It seems as though folks on the floor of the arena were standing for most if not all of the concert- our line of sight enabled us to sit for much of the time. Parking is easy and there is plenty of signage to help in moving around the casino. Plenty of concerts and sports events throughout the year which make it a great 'destination' entertainment center.

World Elvis Tribute Tour on Sunday night was Fabulous in this Huge Arena.

By Muncha_Ocala |

1st time in this Arena where all the major performances take place, WOW what a spot. I don't see how there could be a bad seat in the house! Tastefully executed this Elvis Tribute tour with film footage & audio with a FULL Orchestra that truly stole the show. Reportedly Elvis always wanted to sing with a full orchestra so now on the 40th anniversary of his death this collaboration has been created. Sound was superb, my end seat right on the left curve were terrific & all went beautifully with nice staff to usher anyone to their seat. I am truly impressed & cannot wait for my next concert venue here at this Arena. Player Club Members (Momentum) are offered FREE tickets to numerous events throughout the year - especially in the summer months. BTW: Park your own vehicle FREE in the Garages & save on the long-waiting Valet Parking Offer. Ignore the recommendations to park in Riverside or Sky & Park in Winter Garage - walk perhaps further, but then you can get out much quicker with the crowds after a performance. Another Valuable Travel HINT: Winter is also the Garage closest to the new Non-Smoking Earth Tower Hotel. Yes, you have to walk a bit down the concourse to Check-In @ the Sky Hotel Tower desk, but be prepared to walk MILES when you go to any of these Casinos!

Concert going.....

By niceone60 |

This arena is perfect size and the seating is awesome. I have been on different occasions and never had a bad seat. Sound is awesome too,

Great venue to see a concert at.

By Debbie B |

The arena holds approx. 10,000 people, there really is'nt a bad seat in the house. It's easy getting in and out. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful.

LOGIC

By Lori L |

Great event space. Great performance. No problems finding it. Our seats were awesome. Enjoyed the show!

9p start for a 8a show was ridiculous

By Richard B |

The seating was narrow and tight. It was easy to get to seats and exit. Seeing a short here was great because you can do something before and after. There also isn't a mass exit from the parking garage either.

Best venue on the East Coast

By mikefrommaine2017 |

If you want to see a concert, this is the place. Truly, there is not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are very good. The MS arena draws some of the biggest names: Bob Seger, Eagles, Kevin Hart, etc. Totally worth the price of admissions!

Concert venue for 10K

By michellegagnenh |

My niece & I saw Justin Timberlake perform at Mohegan Sun Arena a few days ago, and it was my first event at this venue. First I would highly recommend prepaying for reserved parking via Park Whiz; you’re guaranteed a spot on level 1 and don’t have to stress over finding a parking space, especially if a big-name entertainer is performing.
Second, the arena is set up well, with ample seating, snack bars, pizza, bars, and restrooms inside the arena. We happened to have VIP seats, so were close to the stage, though this performer created a stage that encompassed the entire length of the arena, so everyone had a chance to see him closer.
My ONLY criticism is the seat size. They are made for a 10 year old or a very thin adult. The seat arm handles DO pull up, so if you’re seated with someone, you can lift the divider/cup holder between you.

Great place to see a show

By bostonshovel |

We had floor seats and this was a great place to see a show. I wouldnt want to be in the balcony but all in all great venue. My only suggestion would be to allow for 2 drinks per person to cut down on having to loose your place

Arena Concert

By Chris W |

A huge place, we got to sit in section 21 for the Sarah Evan concert. It was great, not too high up that the stage was tiny and not too low that you couldnt see over peoles heads. It was a straight on view to the stage. Great acoustics and 2 big screen TVs to see the smaller details.

Uncomfortable seats, bad acoustics

By BillL64 |

Even in the lower sections the seats are uncomfortable. They are on metal risers for some reason; maybe they roll back for a prom. If someone decides to sway to the music the whole row feels it.

Uncomfortable seating, flat floor viewing, good size small arena

By chrisw7 |

Seating made for elementary children. Steel fold up chairs with thin pad. Too thin also.
With good seating this place would be ok. Hope not to go back.

Great!

By Cornwall M |

Great venue, reasonable food. Exciting WNBA game with good seats and friendly staff. Very clean. A good time.

Rick Astley @ The Arena!

By zzixor1 |

Been to Mohegan Sun Casino MANY times, first time at Arena. It was awesome, fantastic. I was awarded free tickets to the concert and I enjoyed Rick Astley from back in the 80's. You know you did too..! Remember, "Dance with somebody", "Never gonna give you up"? The concert was great, there were no bad seats in the arena. I think that would be true for most concerts, games and shows. Great concessions and beverage options. It was a nice night and being at the Mohegan was able to check in to Hotel and have a great meal too

Good space to enjoy a concert

By ldjs |

Great space for music and sports events.
Spacious, airy and clean.
The arena was full for the Train concert, but the flow was good, did not feel crowded and sound was excellent.
All seats are not equal, but all are good in terms of sound and have full view of the stage.
Very good experience.
Did not buy anything, but appeared that concessions were also operated well.
Very pleasant space, everyone enjoyed the show, will return again.

Great seats, but high prices.

By Mary M |

"There isn't a bad seat in the house" albeit true, the prices for shows here boarder on ridiculous.

I go to concerts a bit more than the average person and I don't mind paying a few more bucks for bigger names at a venue close by but I've seen some shows with tickets STARTING at $100. Shows I've seen here have always been a good time, and it makes for a good night out with some excellent bars and restaurants steps from the arena door - but, with that said it makes for a heavy hit to your wallet with ticket prices, and your night out. Sounds quality is pretty good, it's an arena so there's a tinge of echoness the higher up, but that just comes with the territory. I've passed on many shows here because I really didn't want to dip into my savings.

Amazing view & sound!

By DreamsOfMusic |

Was here last week to see Christina Aguilera and the venue was great. Uniformed ushers walked us to our seats on the floor. When Christina came out, I was amazed with the sound quality. No matter where your seats were, you could hear very well. I also felt comfort in seeing ushers and security present throughout the show, constantly looking around and under things to make sure all was ok. It was a 4 hour drive for us, but more than worth it!

Billy f’in idol and Bryan Adams

Great show, acoustics. Too long to switch out stages, 40 mins! Staff were great, sure beats Foxwoods for similar venue.

Cirque Celebration show

By Melinda A |

My family of four went here to see the Cirque Celebration show. It is a smaller arena, which I typically like. For this show they had all fold up chairs. I noticed some had cup holders, but ours did not. The rows were small as is usual in an arena, but with fold out chairs it seemed more perilous. People were actually holding on to people as they tried to scoot out so they wouldn’t fall. My husband went out to get my son a water and all the concessions were closed. If you here make sure you have food and drink before you sit down and anyone with mobility issues should sit on an aisle seat for sure.

Very good mid-size arena venue

By Connector1223 |

In July saw both U2 (from the floor), and Camila Cabello (in a seat). Incredibly small venue for U2 so that was a real treat. The seats at Camila's show seemed very tight. But the acoustics were great for both shows. Large screens to further enjoy the concert experience. Easy access to to food stands, bars, and merch stands. This is a top notch venue and a much better experience than seeing a show at one of the professional basketball venues in New York or Boston.

Great Venue

By lljjbb |

Smaller arena so great seats. Great sound as well. Easy in and out. Price is good for the venue. Very good show list to please many. Great location in casino so time to shop, have dinner and drinks and even a little gambling.

Not a bad seat in the house!

By coachkathy10 |

Mohegan is a great place to see a show - there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Plenty of concessions stands, and bathrooms everywhere. We did not eat inside the venue, but there are plenty of nice places to eat inside the casino. If you plan far enough in advance, you could have a really nice meal, and if you didn't, you could always catch a more casual bite to eat. Staying at Mohegan is pricey (in comparison, it was much cheaper to stay at a Foxwoods property and see a show than it would have been for us to stay at Mohegan for this show.) We stayed outside the property with a free, very short shuttle to the casino.

Great place for a concernt

By John M |

The smaller venue allows you to feel up close and personal. I like going to concerts there because of this and would recommend hitting a concert there.

Outstanding facility

By Marni |

Have attended a number of concerts at the arena, shows and many sports functions and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. It’s a walk to get through the casino to the arena, but parking is terrific, employees of the arena are very pleasant and incredibly helpful. Have never had a bad experience!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra Concert

By Racmos |

This was our first time here and I sincerely hope it is not our last. Received TSO tickets as a Christmas gift and were so excited.

The venue is larger than I thought it would be but totally manageable. Security was tight and for this I say 'thank you'. With all of the craziness in the world I was happy for the comfort that a quick bag check and pat-down would bring.

Beverages and snacks are available for purchase once you enter the arena. Seating is comfortable with adequate leg room. Plenty of clean restrooms.

Bob Seger

By SirVayR |

2nd time we've seen Bob Seger in recent years after waiting many years for him to appear in our area. Didn't disappoint. We had upper level seats as I had some issues with Ticketmaster, but still decent seats. Sound quality was good for Seger, but not so good for opening act (Nancy Wilson and her new band). Audience was lively and well behaved with a mix of ages...not just leftovers from the 70's (like my wife and myself). Have attended concerts here before and has been good each time.

Very Personal concert venue

By GretchenStarr |

Mohegan Sun Arena is one of my favorite places to see a concert. There really are not any bad seats in the entire place!!! It is very clean and convenient if you are staying at any of the surrounding hotels. I love the fact that you are able to leave the venue and go out to the casino floor and then come back in. I would recommend doing that when you need to use the restroom if there is an intermission, it is so much quicker. Enjoy the Show!!!

Fun experience

By FineDinerGirl |

Arrived for a Conference at the Mohegan Sun resort and as we were taking a self tour of the place came upon the Mohegan Sun Arena. Being WNBA fans, we knew beforehand that this was home court to the Connecticut Sun pro basketball team. As luck would have it there was a home game scheduled that evening so we decided to check the ticket prices. After some consideration, we decided that tickets were a little pricey for the seats we wanted so we decided to skip it. As we were walking back to our room to prepare for dinner, a lady walks up and asks if we would like free tickets to the game! We said heck yes! The tickets were $45 each and provided fantastic mid-level mid-court views. The arena is very clean and modern and though the seats seemed a little tight, they were still comfortable for the event. There are "no cameras" signs posted but lots of folks used camera phones throughout the game so I'm not sure what the signs are about. Good sports arena atmosphere with a good crowd. The cheerleaders and dancers and team mascot were very entertaining. We saw a great game that came down to a buzzer beater at the end. Good fun. I would recommend.

On top of the action

By netdefender77 |

Great venue that holds about 10,000 people. There's really not a bad seat in the place. Have seen multiple concerts, including Imagine Dragons and Motley Crue.

Barrett Jackson Auction

By David P |

Great venue for the car auction, good seats and easily accessible to the hotel. Concession stands offered a variety of options with reasonable rates.

Great venue

By Happado |

Went to a concert there and was really impressed. The seats were great, the concessions manageable and the people working there very friendly. Did not look like a bad seat in the house.

The place is small for an arena, which makes the experience more personal. But a big rocking band might be better in a larger space. For me, this was just right.

The way our was a bit crowded. Could have used more crowd control for sure on the exit.

Otherwise, a terrific place to see a concert.

Free entertainment

The Wolf Den is a free entertainment venue featuring artists from all generations. Most enjoyable. Something for everyone

Two nights, two shows

By robert l |

We saw Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on a Saturday night and Keith Urban on Sunday night. Two greaaaat shows. The Arena has excellent seating, good refreshments and good acoustics. A great place to see performances.

Good show

By btang287 |

Mohegan Sun Arena is located in Sky Casino. Sections 21 to 24 are close to the main entrance of the arena. Good seating and you will seldom be blocked by even a tall person in front of you, except seats on the ground level. No food or beverage is allowed to bring in because you can buy it inside.

Great Arena for popular acts and sports

By Bruce R |

It is a nice midsize arena of about 9,000 seats or so. Best part is that if you get your tickets for an event at the box office, no Ticketmaster fees are involved. If you are in the area, you can drop in and get your event tickets there. If only there the day of the event and wish to avoid Ticketmaster fees or scalped tickets, take a gamble, it is in a casino after all. There are two ways to score tickets and often in good seats; wait until an hour or two before the show and get "released" day of event tickets or make a new friend and get one from a person whose event partner stood them up. The first is easy, there are usually seats available the day of the event, not all are good seats so read the seating map. Too close on the sides and you do not hear the best music, to far and it is like watching ants, too close on the floor and expect to stand most of the concert. I was able to get tickets, two together, 45 minutes before the concert on the floor, so we stood but the music quality was great. My friend likes to go the "make a new friend" route. He met a concert goer who was stood up by a family member who just wanted to gamble and miss the show. He got that person's seat at face value even though they paid premium Ticketmaster prices. So, take a gamble the day of the event. If you do not get in, there are still many nice places to eat and drink and Mohegan Sun.

Great Venue

By J S |

A great venue to see a show and or basketball game. Can see from any seat, which is key. Would highly recommend.

Great venue

By ladtvtxrider |

Have been here several times for different shows, don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Staff is always friendly & welcoming. Temperatures are always comfortable. Great place to see your favorite artist or a game.

The seating is unbearably uncomfortable.

By Paula S |

We went to the Jeff Dunham show last night. He was great. We were in the stadium seats and we could see everything. The seats, however, were so uncomfortable that I am in pain today. They are so close together that it’s awkward. But the comfort level was the worst part. I won’t be able to attend another show there.

Barrett Jackson Car Auction

By Joanne M |

Went during the Barrett Jackson Car Auction for the first time. Lots of seating and when the arena is full it is very loud.

Love this place!

By Mlj04 |

Absolutely stunning, architecture designs around the whole place, love everything you can do here not just a casino but placw to eat sleep shop have fun!!

Bad Pentatonix concert

By Larry T |

I was really looking forward to this concert as I have never seen Pentatonix live no. I was very disappointed in the performance. Many issues with the sound. Also the vocals were not good. In some songs some of the vocals were actually slightly off-key

Great Venue not a bad seat in the place. Had dinner and did some gambling before and after had a great time.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Soul2Soul Concert

By Lynne S |

Fantastic venue and concert. Made a difference to be in the 5th row on the floor in front of the stage. Fans for life.

Good venue

By Karl K |

Can't say much. It's a typical arena. Seems to be clean and well run. What else could you ask for. The seem to get the mid-range acts I think due to its size. That's fine as you may get more interesting acts.

Bad for CT Sun experience

By peter g |

Writing this from the bathroom after vomitting After spending ten pregame minutes having a laser
Light show blasted in my eyes in a variety of colors. Note to staff, NOONE has a better experience because you blasted them with spotlights. Keep them on the floor.

Great variety of slot machines

We took a one night trip to nearby Mystic and drove to Mohegan Sun for some fun. This place is always clean, easily assessible. Parking free and a breeze. Lots of restaurants to choose from, gift shops, plenty of slots and free entertainment in the Wolf den

An Amazing Place

By Terry G |

This is an amazing place to see a concert! There is not a bad seat in this place as we have seen several shows here! The ticket prices for shows are reasonable when purchased at their box office. The sound system is excellent! Highly recommend!

Queen with Adam Lambert was great!

By Steambush |

Parking was easy. Maneuvering the huge casino was easy. Had a quick bite to eat in the food court. We were ushered to our seats in the arena by a polite young man. The concert was spectacular and a great tribute to Freddie Mercury, with a virtual diet by Brian May and Freddie the height of the show. Adam Lambert sang and talked with class. It was a great night!

Nice space with good sound

By rachaelf666 |

The only real failing of this venue is the location: it's inside the casino, so you have to deal with the milling-mindless masses lost in the casino maze AND the casino itself is kind of in the middle of nowhere - which is, of course, designed to get you to stay longer... kind of sucks if you just want to go to a show and then go home.

Doobie Brothers/ Steely Dan Show

By David R |

Great sound, several concessions within arena. The floor seat are good if you are close but if not get something up top. Great view of the whole stage and show from there. I was in section 107 and had a great view. I suggest making early reservations before your show so you don't have to rush to find a restaurant and rush through your dinner.

WHAT DID THE SINGER SAY?

By atexinc |

Not sure how much was because of where I was standing but could barely hear what the singer was singing for the opening act. Sound improved (slightly) for the second act and was ok for the headliner but over all disappointed with venue. Would probably choose another venue next time I have a choice.

Geno's 1000th

By davidbN4341RG |

Great time at the game. Too bad they allow smoking outside the arena. It really ruins an otherwise good time. Shopping was fun pregame and free parking was unexpected.

HORRIBLE

By demetriusTesla |

was over charged for distant room staff not friendly or helpful would not go back the medical support is lacking at this facility no doctor on site for such a large facility sick patients not offered motorized units to get around the casino

Nice venue, not too large. All seats had a good view. Great acoustics for a concert. getting in and out was very easy.

Nice local opti9n

By ttbsuziq |

Brings in good entertainment if pricey with the tickets. Nice to drive 15 minutes up the road for a good show. Most shows have had good sound. A few a little rough. Well situated seating. Nice food offerings. Staffing is friendly. Easy to navigate to get to your seat,

Seated in the nosebleeders

By Grace_K102 |

Even in the nosebleeders, the seats weren't bad. The worst part was the horn that kept going off over our head, which got old quick. Not a bad venue for college hoops, though I'm not sure what to expect for a concert, etc.

Always a fun time!

By Toni-Marie L |

I am a Mohegan sun lover! This arena is great! I have been for concerts to basketball games! I've sat on the court and in the highest seats and the views are good! Of course floor seats are better but that was all luck! Fun place for whatever occasion is going on there!

Not a bad seat in the house!

By NYI7thWoman |

Great place to see a concert! Reasonable concession pricing. Love it. Could use a few more food options, but great. Bathrooms are HUGE and the arenea is beautiful.

Best Venue I've Been To!

By Kendra D |

We saw In This Moment and Halestorm, here. Venue had great sound, was just the right size to have a great view no matter where you were sitting. Plenty of large bathrooms that were SO clean, and plenty of drink/snack locations. Definitely coming to shows here again!

Mohegan Sun Arena Concerts - Good venue, not so good crowd

By MrsKB2_11 |

I have been to several concerts at Mohegan Sun Arena - Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars.... It IS a great venue to see a concert - no matter who is playing. There is not a bad seat in the house. I love seeing concerts here. My only disappointment is with the crowd. I have found the crowd to not be as into it as other places. My guess is that Mohegan may give away seats to gamblers who only attend as it's a free show.... The shows I've seen have all been exciting, energetic and bright.... How anyone can sit through any of these concerts is beyond me. I've talked to people next to me at EACH show and they've said the same thing.... The sound is great, the view is great, the crowd? Not so much. Would I still go to a concert there? Sure. But if I can get tickets at Gillette or the Boston Garden first, I'll spend my money there.

Everyone loves Pizza

By Michael R |

Located at the bottom of the escalators leaving the earth tower.
You cannot resist getting a pizza.
The friendly staff is above average on service They seem very happy to work at this establishment . I would recommend you come and try a slice

Great Venue

By Elizabeth B |

We recently attended a concert at the area and we very pleased with Mohegan Sun Arena. The staff is wonderful and the stage is easily visible from all the seats.

Medium sized arena , simple and easy

By Bill R |

Attended a concert at the arena while staying at the hotel. Its hard to beat the convenience of just walking down the hall and into the arena. It's not particularly fancy but it is simple, easy and gets the job done. We sat in floor seats but it looks like you would have a decent view from any of the available seating. I like that it did not take forever to leave at the end of the show either. We did not try any of the food but we did have a couple drinks, which were fine. The acoustics were pretty good and the three musical acts put on a good show. I would definitely look to attend another show or sporting event at this venue. One thing that we thought was a bit odd is that we didn't see anyone selling t-shirts for the show - but perhaps we didn't look too hard, and they were really there.

Thanks Mohegan Sun

By Bryon S |

We got perfect tickets to Andy Grammer concert last night and my wife who is strictly country actually said I only knew 2 of his songs but a great performer so I was happy.

Good place for a show. Not great

By Andy B |

The arena sits 10,000 , but feels like about 7,000. Most seats are good. The sight lines are clear and the seats generally comfortable. However, this is my 3rd show where the acoustics in the upper deck aren't great.

One show was a stand up comedy show, and I could barely make out what was being said. Then I saw a Transiberian Orchestra show, and now, Bon Jovi. It seems that some of the music is focused on the center of the arena, and some doesn't really reach the upper tier. I imagine the box seats up top are even worse.

Overall good venue. Acoustics will not be great in all seats.

A bit Surprised

By williamlN2696RX |

It's not a difficult review when your seats were as good as ours were for dancing with the stars show (section 15, row D). My hearing isn't what it used to be and the audio was pretty darn loud for an event that wasn't a rock concert. Seats were comfortable, but as usual these days, not very wide for shoulder room. Staff was very friendly, polite and personable. Seemed a nice variety of intermission eats and beverages, including a nice IPA brew on tap. Restroom was clean and didn't smell like a bag of urine. Entry and exit from the venue was quick and easy. Enjoy the show...

Great concerts

By paso56 |

We love this venue and when our favorite bands play here, we always choose this place! There really isn’t a bad seat! I highly recommend it! Well organized and well run! Nice job Mohegan Sun!

Don’t waste your money here. Go to New Haven, Hartford or Springfield.

By Maureen M |

Very poor organization of the crowds waiting to get into the arena.
Because they handle many thousands of people daily, this arena should have much better ways of handling both security and routing people to their seats.
Insufficient staff at the entrances and no guidance for the mobs trying to get information to get inside. Perhaps it was bc the entrances were immediately adjacent to gambling and shopping areas.
Viewers were delayed so long at the doors that many were admitted half-an-hour after the show started.
Rude staff on top of that!
I was extremely disappointed at just about everything at this venue.

Don't go to a concert at mohegan sun unless you want nosebleed tickets

By Diane K |

I Hate this arena. I just bought godsmack tickets the minute they went on sale. All that was available were nose bleed seats because all the good seats are either scalped or sold to the casinos high rollers..My nosebleed tickets made me cry, all day. I'll never go to a show at the mohegan sun again..

Good time, few headaches.

By xdanballx |

Great arena, great concerts, great sound, great staff. The only downsides were; Both of the venues ATM’s were down, and the beer stands were cash only, causing us to have to venture back in to the casino to try to get cash. A good amount of the concession areas seemed to be closed, creating more backups during a sold out concert, and poor concourse design. Regardless, still had a great time, and likely will return for more shows!

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

By Nancy B |

We went on Yankee Trails bus to see the concert. In their brochure it said lower level seating. Wrong, there were only 2 rows high than our seats. This was false advertising by Yankee Trails, done with them.
The actual concert was excellent of what we could see. Faith sang more than Tim but their duets were beautiful. I would go again but purchase my own tickets. We enjoyed Mohegan Sun, but someone really messed up on our seats.

Perfect for WNBA

By CyndyandByron |

This arena has been home to the Connecticut Sun since its construction. It is the perfect size plus it has access to all the amenities anyone could even imagine.Parking is free in the casino garage. This venue also hosts all types of concerts as well. There is not a bad seat in the house. This past week we attended the WNBA finals. We were on highest seats behind the hoop at one end and it was still a great view!

Great Show!!

By HueyCanton |

This arena is a large venue..The show we saw was tremendous..
Our seats were close enough to see the stage and the monitor above was clear! Our night was delightful..,.

Kind of boring

By JGH61 |

Went on a Monday and Tuesday....place was kind of slow. More or less broke even, not sure if payouts are a lot less on the slot machines because they are trying to recover from covid but did not seem to be able to play as long on $20

Perfect size arena, but...

By MBC |

Saw New Kids on the Block at Mohegan Sun Arena on 7/3/19. Been there before for concerts (including previous NKOTB shows & they're amazing). Because it's a relatively small arena, no seat is a bad seat.

However, this time once show began & fans surged to their feet & started jumping & dancing, the entire section we were seated in began to move. It was scary & felt like it could give way. It was like riding a subway for 3 hours. The whole metal seating structure shook & swayed violently.
I've never felt that before at other shows in this arena. If you have motion sickness or weren't steady on your feet while surface moves, you'd be in trouble.

Another issue - saw only 1 souvenir stand set up in concourse (we walked 1/2 way around looking for another to no avail). Every other arena I've seen concerts at has many souvenir stands to lessen lines. Because there was only 1 here, it was mobbed & took forever to buy something - not to mention it was a safety hazard, clogging the whole concourse so that no one could walk by at all - the crowd was shoulder-to-shoulder in that area, no one could freely pass by.

Lastly, there's smoking allowed in casino, but not in arena. Once a show lets out & 13,000 people exit the arena, they all light up at once immediately as they're exiting the arena into the casino. For non-smokers trying to exit arena, you're immediately plunged into a cloud of thousands of fellow concertgoers smoking the second they cross from arena to casino - you cannot escape it, nor can you breathe. There has to be a better way, like not allowing 13,000 smokers to light up right at the exit doors of arena - make them move further into casino so that everyone can exit safely, quickly & without not in a smokey cloud.

Evanescence concert

By Chemorn |

Concert was great despite the uncomfortable seats. Odd arrangement of seats. Had to keep head turned to left in order to face the stage. Good security. Ushers were helpful. Lots of food and snack options within the arena. Small arena so anywhere you sit would be good seats.

Non smoker

By ybielu |

Took my mom to Mohegan Sun this week. Neither of us smoke. Found Non-smoking room. All the old machines and good luck finding a beverage person. Will never go back. AC and NY way better option for us. Foxwoods was even worse,in three hours never even saw a beverage person except for at tables. Non- smoking section old machines too. Very disappointing

The WORST Venue, don’t bother !!

By Susan M |

After purchasing performance tickets be prepared to PAY for parking on top of the cost for entry tickets. The staff are rude and the most arrogant individuals you may ever encounter.
Especially the security staff who allow some attendees to bring in bags while not allowing others to bring in smaller bags. Don’t waste your time at this venue, choose ANYWHERE else to see your favorite performers. The temperature INSIDE the building was freezing even wearing gloves and a down winter jacket ! I’ve been to 100’s of shows across multiple venues and I’ve never seen a venue as BAD as this one, NEVER again !!

Great venue

By pachecobyac |

Venue is large, spacious, clean and views are clear from every angle. Really enjoyed the time there !

Awesome place to go to a show

By Debbie P |

Mohegan Sun arena is so much more convenient than going to Boston for a show! Even though the arena accommodates a large number of people, it’s small enough to insure a great experience from any seat.

Great time on New Year's Eve

By William O |

And there is so much to do here. Shops to browse, shows to see, slots to roll, table games to play, or horses to play. Just too much to ever take in with one visit.

Uncomfortable seats

By Indie Mainer |

Our center seats were great but there was no elbow room or any place to put our food and drinks without spilling it onto ourselves or our neighbors.

Perfect First Visit

By Karen B |

My daughter and I went to the arena for the first time last night to see Bastille. We have been to dozens of venues and this is the best one we have ever attended. The staff organized the line that was building before the doors opened. When the doors opened, the staff quickly searched people, took or scanned tickets, and directed everyone to their areas. We had floor tickets and got there within 5 minutes after the doors opened. After leaving the staff were all pleasant and wished everyone a good night. Better yet, parking is free! And easy!

Intimate concert venue

By ctwhisper |

We have attended a few concerts at this arena. There isn't a bad seat in the place. Seats are small and close together. We had a large man in front of us and he looked extremely uncomfortable. They sell wine, beer and mixed drinks for $8 barefoot wine super small portions but for cash only. They sell food like pizza hot dogs, etc. The pretzels are awful. Great acoustics.

Great venue for concert !

By Randy M |

Ideal spot with so much to do, choices of dining, casinos, and on site hotels. We saw Train, O.A.R, and Natasha Bedingfield. Easy in and out, great sound. Can't wait to come back (:

Right sized for just about anything

By wmccfp |

Right sized for just about anything. Large enough so an energized crowd can create a major buzz; small enough so it's easy in, easy out. Security and ticketing very efficient.

Englebert Still Got It

By Rich334 |

Recently saw Englebert Humperdink at the Mohegan Sun Arena...it is a nice pace to see a concert and they have two big screens to help few the entertainer/stage. I was amazed that Englebert, who is 82, still doing concerts and his voice is still very good and the band behind him excellent. Really enjoyed the show...

Mediocre Tournament Experience

By MB2020 |

In for Women’s Big East tournament. Reasonably quick entrance to arena and good sight lines. Arena was clean.

Concessions are far below average, so-so hot dog (Sabretts) and Pepe’s pizza (fair but humongous lines) - no other food.

Ticketmaster and Mohegan controls the tickets and it is not an easy system. Resales were not allowed despite the fact that at all these tournaments when a team loses, many fans leave and don’t attend more games.

Only one souvenir area with a lousy selection. A Big East issue I am sure. They should be ashamed. No kids sizes. They pay lip service to growing the game but ignored the kids.

Parking on on Sunday was a mess. Two valet lots were closed and most of the spaces at the garage were taken. No staff was on site to help direct folks.

I hope they and Big East take feedback and make many changes.

Concert

By Walter tong |

Small enough venue where no matter where you sat the view of the stage was good. Upper level was a bit steep for some one that may have a walking problem but than I guess you could ask for handicap seating. Concession moved quickly.

Restaurant

By Brinda B |

Restaurant was fantastic food was served hot played a few games service was great friendly staff.the drinks are a little expensive on the floor and it takes a little long t0 get them but services and staff overall are good.

Jay Leno

By TKearns2013 |

We had tickets to see Jay Leno. The arena is small so there are really no bad seats. It was very enjoyable although the process of leaving after the show could be streamlined better.

Train concert

By Ddziejma |

Went to the Train concert at Mohegan sun great seats. The sound was great as well. Went to geno's fast break for dinner it was quick and easy with an 18 year old.

Wonderful arena

By Jennifer G |

Not a bad seat in the house and accommodating staff. Everyone was very helpful and smiling which always makes a great time better

Terrible acoustics

By mrworf |

Just attended a Brett Eldridge concert. I'm at a loss about the great ratings. Found the seats cramped and uncomfortable. Sound acoustics were pretty bad to say the least. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Never heard Brett Eldridge before, not sure what type of music he represents, Country/Heavy Metal without being great at either.

Had what should have been great seats but acoustics again were pretty bad.

Enjoyed the opening band Morgan Evans better than Eldridge.

I can't see paying $160+ dollars a seat for another concert here with such terrible acoustics and sound stage.

Took my fiancee to see the first game of the season. Neither of us had ever seen a professional lacrosse game before. AND BOTH of us were Sooooo happy that we gave it a shot. I am a huge baseball fan and have always been less than enthusiastic about lacrosse as a sport but now my opinion has changed. It was fun and exciting from start to finish. They had a dance cam, broadcasted replays of scoring plays in slow motion, had cheerleaders and even a fan contest on field. Halftime featured a drumline performance by some fairly young looking musicians who were awesome. The blackwolves won and they gave us a free fan towel. Beer selections were decent, with typical sports event pricing. Would highly recommend seeing a game!

It’s okay but nowhere near excellent.

By TB6016 |

Only a few of the concession stands were open. Only one place sold concern shirts and the two guys working there were exasperated trying to keep up with demands. People were not trusted to make it to their seats without escort from staff.

Our Favorite Concert Venue

By Judith S |

We have seen The Who, U2, Smashing Pumpkins and even a Pink Floyd Laser Show (complimentary by the casino) at this venue. It is absolutely our FAVORITE! It is smaller than most arenas so you have a more intimate experience. We felt like we were on stage when we got seating just above on the corner of the stage. Seeing The Who in this place is a memory I will treasure with my husband forever. Sshhh, our secret!!! P.S. We are 55+ and it is easy to navigate as my husband has disabilities.

good time

By Arthur S |

Anything you want or need is there. It is a place to have a good time and real good eats. To stay is real fine. Clean and very uo to date on all their properties.

No Bad Seat in the Arena

By Crystal H |

Regardless of where you sit, you will have great access to the event that you are seeing. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the guest relations staff are helpful and friendly.

Just the Right Size

By katieroc |

Saw Blondie and Elvis Costello here in July. It's a great venue for a concert. Really can't get a bad seat. Stayed in the Sky Tower so it was great not having to drive home afterward. The only thing I can say is the band drowned out Elvis Costello. Maybe bad mixing? IDK. I'd go back though

Not a bad seat in the house!!!

By cbbct |

My husband and I love seeing shows at the Mohegan Sun Arena!!! No matter if you are in the front row or the last row in the back, there isn't a bad seat in the arena! You get a good view no matter where you sit! We've seen comedy shows as well as many concerts & it's always a good time! The set up of the arena also allows artists to do many different stage set ups, which is great because you never know what to expect! They may use the normal stage; they may float in from the ceiling somewhere; they may set up a stage at the back half of the arena. I would definitely recommend seeing any show here!

Great shows and stars

By Adele J |

We have been to this arena several times over the last few years. Top entertainers play here. A few times the acoustics were distorted because it was so loud, but overall I have enjoyed all of the shows.

Great place for a hoop game!

By CoachK2525 |

Prices, concessions, and size are a great place to see a bball game!. Lobby and bathrooms can get a bit tight and access through casino and garage can be a pain (but parking is free!).

Awesome venue

By Lori B |

I loved this venue! The place is huge, the seats are typical of plastic stadium seats. I brought a self inflating cushion because I was at a three day all day event. It was great. The jumbo-tron can be seen from any point so if you are far from the stage, no worries, it's a clear view from anywhere... oh and the parking is really convenient too. Lots of space to park and nothing is extremely far from the entrance.

80's Dance party!

By smoki11 |

Went to see the Starship Band with Tayler Dayne & Billy Ocean. It was one of the best shows I have seen in a while.

Cole Swindell

By edwardh39 |

First time at this venue. Had seats near side of stage, great view. Acoustics were good and venue was not oversized. Date and I had a great time

top quality performances

By MESchooner |

At the Mohegan Sun Arena you can see top performers, the regional basketball college tournaments are really great to see at the arena. The Suns WNBA play exciting basketball and the home crowd gets into the games.

Mohegan Sun Arena

By Exptraveler2013 |

We’ve caught a few concerts in the arena recently. We love that it is not such a huge concert venue, you can sit in higher sections and still have a very decent seat. Plus there are the big screens, Downside, I don’t think the acoustics are the best. We saw Little Big Town recently and it was difficult to understand many of the words to the songs. All in all though, I still like the venue a lot. Plenty restrooms too.

Concert

By Arelis M |

I love the Mohegan Sun Arena! It’s the perfect size and you’re able to have a good view of the performance from all angles.

Awesome Godsmack show!

By GraceIshak |

Came out for a Godsmack show and it was awesome! Security was prompt and went smoothly. We sat in section 18 and had a great view. Our attendant showed us to our seats and was super helpful of other people. My only complaints was that the seats are super tight for bigger people. That and concessions were expensive and not very good.

Just for fun

By Coloradotravel2010 |

Received tickets with our room to see Lee Ann Wolmack. Received really good seats. Good concert. You have the ability to purchase food and beverages once you are in the arena.

Perfect arena

By WillW0rk2Travel |

Not too big and not too small; perfect. Sections 25 and 15 are my favorite but there really isn’t a bad seat in the house.

Large, but organized

By Sleepingbeautyanr |

Recently we aquired tickets to the Alanis Morissette concert at the arena. We were in the upper section and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to see, but the view was not bad. The seats are a bit on the small side and we had knees in our backs, but the concert was well lit, sound was good, people seemed polite. It was a nice time!

Great Arena for a concert

By Gerard D |

I attended a recent Straight No Chaser Concert here and was pleased with everything about this place. The sound quality of the show was fantastic. The arena is not too big and there isn't a bad seat in the house. There are plenty of refreshment stands throughout the concourse serving everything from alcohol to soft drinks and pretzels to pizza. Expect to pay typical event type pricing for the food and beverage. The staff I encountered were all friendly and welcoming. I will defiantly see more concerts here!

The SUN shines for everybody

By C2918RUjosea |

I particularly like the reward program, last time I a $250.00 free slot and after used, I end up with $ 620.00, not bad at all.

U2 Rocked!

By LuvtheCaribbean028 |

Not a bad seat in the arena. We have been here several times to see shows and even it you are way up in the back, you still have a good vantage point. Only 10,000 seats.

Strict and unfriendly

By Cat V |

The arena is spacious and I feel every seat had good visibility to the stage, the sound was great but the one limit per person drinks was annoying. I tried to purchase two drinks, one for me and one for my mom who was seated but I was told she had to be present no exceptions. The staff was not that friendly either. I literally was followed by security to check in my tiny go-pro camera because they did not allow it.

Game of Thrones Concert

By kyurtse |

For our anniversary we bought tickets to the Game of Throne concert, it was amazing, we took a lot of pictures and it was well worth the money we spent to drive from Virginia to go and see it.

Best Concert Venue

By Kay Cou Kru |

This was my 2nd time here. Completely different seat then last time, clear across from the stage and the view was excellent. No heads in front of me, and it was well air conditioned for the sweating I was doing from dancing in my seat! Great acoustics. I think this is the best venue I’ve ever seen a concert in. I will be back!,

Concession nightmare!

By CoachK2525 |

Comfy and great sightlines....but had to review again as def needs some upgrades as far as scoreboard and message boards...felt like watching 80s analog TVs....AND....LINES FOR CONCESSSIONS WERE HORRIBLE....not sure if staffing but lines outrageous and ran out of almost everything and knew was a sellout....PLEASE ADDRESS as want to come back for more games and events!

Large Concert Venue

By Seamoor7 |

Attended a recent Tony Bennett concert. It is a large area, and without the large TV screens the performers would be tiny to the naked eye. The acoustics were good, the seats a bit tight for leg room, and the variety of food concessions good. Overall better than average, maybe not quite very good.

Pentatonix stinks!

By MarkCoppes |

What used to be a great act failed to deliver. They came out 45 minutes late and were lifeless and too commercial. Boo !

Great Acoustics

By AnneAdrift |

Saw Smashing Pumpkins here and it was a great venue. Although the seats are a little tight, the acoustics were great and the venue is smaller so seems more intimate. The arena is very clean, from the bathrooms to the concessions to the arena itself. I can't wait to see another show here!

Great WNBA games

By redneck55 |

The grand kid and I go here to watch the Ct Sun WNBA basketball team, always have a great time . very kid friendly.

great seats for concerts

By pattie403 |

I saw a few concerts in the Area and enjoyed them. The seats were always good. The staff was helpful finding seats. You can get refreshments. Good shows.

Excellent arena for a show!

By Anthony S |

This arena is one of my favorite in the area, they always have good shows and there is never a long wait to get in. The drink prices are a little ridiculous considering they have a bar almost next door in the casino offering $2 beers.

Great venue

By murph315401 |

We saw Lady Gaga here and the venue was really nice. There really wasn't a bad seat in the place. Plenty of bathrooms and concessions. The staff was really helpful.

Nice show, really uncomfortable seats

By jgot |

Title says it all: We have been to a couple of shows. Shows were both good, sound good, video screens so you can see from a distance. But the chairs are like those horrible folding chairs you dread.

Great show

By Lmendes76 |

Venue was very nice and clean, however exiting the show was interesting... there was only one point of exit. This caused a significant amount of congestion and delay trying to exit the arena. Left people packed and shoving... a great experience up until that point really.

Venue made it right

By Bobkat |

Went to see Old Dominion yesterday what was turning out as a awful night turned out great! We were seated in Section 106 - thought our seats were good and were enjoying the opening acts. The couple behind me spilled their beer down my back. My hair and back are saturated. I stand up and turned to them waiting to hear oh gosh so sorry well nope I got yelled at from the girlfriend saying it was a freaking accident get over it. Annoyed I left to go clean myself up. On my way down I mentioned it to the usher cause I was so angry and honestly didn’t want to sit near them. He went and got Jim his manager. Jim told me to clean up and come back to him so I did. He moved us to the front row!!! Really made up for a crappy start it was a great concert at a great venue we’ll definitely be back!! THANK YOU JIM!!!

Anniversary Concert

By Guy5702 |

We attended our first concert at this venue, and the sound was excellent. We saw The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan.

Saw Florida Georgia Line there this Saturday!

By quiltyny |

Saw Florida Georgia Line Saturday night which was awesome! Although our seats were in the back of the arena, FLG set up a small intimate stage right below us and surprised everyone by singing two of their top songs right at the back, so that was simply amazing! Love the intimacy of this arena too.

Paul Anka concert

By RICHARD S |

Paul Anka was incredible. We had an issue with our tickets but got it straightened out thanks to Kathy at the box office. The arena itself is great for concerts. We have been there many times to see Ringo and also Toby Keith.

Great Show!

By Leona B |

We saw Little Big Town and it was fabulous. The lighting was a bit much for a small venue, but loved the two-stage set up. This was truly a great experience

Journey Concert

By 788BILLG |

Great venue, very close to the stage, not a bad seat in the house. Sound system not clear and lead singers Mic cut out a few times...but overall, great experience.

Sarah Evans concert

By jwoodster |

Recently attended the Sarah Evans concert at the Arena. Had great seats considering it was a free concert. She knocked it out of the park. Venue was well staffed.

The Best Shows in New England

By Wayne S |

I have seen shows at the Mohegan Sun Arena ranging from country to Jazz to Rap. In addition many older acts like Neil Diamond, and Bob Seger are on the schedule. There is not a bad seat any where in the venue.

Decent Venue with Poor Sound

By HeardItBothWays |

My husband and I bought tickets to the Rise Against "Mourning in Amerika" Tour featuring AFI at Mohegan Sun Arena. We're from NYC, but didn't want to deal with the two general admission only venues they were playing at in our area, so we thought we'd check out somewhere new and get to sit. AFI is one of our favorite bands and this was our sixth time seeing them, but it was our first time seeing Rise Against.

I tried to get lower bowl tickets at release time, but they must reserve them for casino patrons because there was almost nothing available. We purchased two tickets in the front of the upper section. The total was $115.20, which was about what I'd expect for a show with these kinds of bands. Our seats were in section 117, row A, seats 17-18.

The event staff was very friendly and helpful, directing us to our seats pretty quickly. When we took our seats, we realized there was plenty of room throughout the venue. Our section had at most 10-12 people in it the whole night. It was so empty that midway through the concert, one of the staff members gave us ticket upgrades to go down to the section beneath us. We did, but they weren't aisle seats or front of section, and someone stood in front of us so we decided to go back to our original seats for unimpeded views. The lower bowl had a bleacher-style structure, which shook as people moved to the music. It was definitely more comfortable upstairs with real seats in the balcony.

The sound quality was pretty terrible. I don't know if it was the acoustics of the venue or the quality of the audio equipment, but we could barely hear the vocals.

Overall, this isn't a bad place to see a concert, but you may not get the best audio experience. We were also disappointed that they had no tickets available in the lower sections (we even checked again in the days before), even though they clearly had plenty of available seats once we arrived.

Comedy show

By Deborah C |

Nice size Arena. They have Burgers,Hotdogs,Soda,Beer,Snacks,Ect.. . Very nice workers. Help in anyway they can.

Great time in Ariana Grande concert!

By ktyanka |

This arena is great! Staff was very helpful. The Mohegan Sun Arena in CT is the best for live music and entertainment.

Great seats anywhere

By lori71774 |

I love seeing shows at this arena. Every seat has a great view no matter where you are. The highest seats still have great views. Only complaint. The beer is very expensive.

Saw the 4 Tenors

By postingtrot3 |

We were lucky enough to have great seats. It is an enormous arena. If you sit on the ground level or on the first few tiers Your view of the stage is pretty good. Acoustics are excellent.

First Class Facility That's Intimate

By Thomas M |

I made 3 visits to the Arena. The first, a concert featuring Lindsey Stirling and Evanescence was heaven on earth and I chose a seat in line with the edge of the stage. Sightlines were excellent and the sound incredible. Second concert was Halestorm. As a metal concert, i took a higher level seat toward the back. Again, incredible sightlines, owing to the intimacy of the Arena. the 3rd event was a Connecticut Sun WNBA game and I chose first row of grandstand. Again, tremendous experience.

Sports are great

By John D |

Saw Basketball here, great venue for watching a game. It is not a huge arena so it makes pretty much every seat a good one.

Enjoy this arena

By JuddyS123 |

Not a bad seat in this arena, and the top is not too crazy high up as in some arenas. Acoustics are good also.

Sound for comedy is very bad.

By Bill |

I went to two comedy shows in a month and you can barely understand the words. I expressed this concern to the staff and they said they get it all the time and when they tell management, it falls on deaf ears. Only about 20% of the crowd is laughing at any given joke so it’s clearly a problem they don’t care enough to address. Music concerts are great before words don’t matter nearly as much. So 3 stars. No comedy!

Barrett-Jackson car auction at Mohegan Sun is very bad

By Alan N |

Attended the Barrett-Jackson car auction at Mohegan Sun and thought this was the worst venue ever!!! All parts of the auction are very spread out. You have to walk what seems like a mile to get to different locations were the cars are on display. The balcony area is very far away from the auction floor. Maybe other people find this part ok, but I thought selling recliners and mattresses at a car auction was a little odd. I will not attend any car auction at Mohegan Sun ever again.

I’ve been to Mecum car auctions at Schaumburg, IL and Harrisburg, PA. Both auctions were Great! My only advice is to bring some ear protection. The auction can be very loud.

Nice facility, nothing special but it works.

By Bill Z |

The Mohegan Sun Arena is part of the university area in Uncasville, CT. My wife and I had a chance to see Meghan Trainor and Hailee Steinfeld. Another group, Common Kings was also performing. The arena was an excellent choice for the type of concert and expected audience.

An average Friday night.

By Tom C |

I'm not a fan of the electronic roulette tables and the old school tables are always crowded. I guess that's good for the casino, but I prefer just full tables instead people constantly having to reach over to play.

Attended a concert

By KFK732 |

Great small arena to see a concert in. every seat was a good choice. felt very comfortable leaving my older teens at the concert and joining my husband on the casino floor.

Lionel Richie was fantastic, however, the Security at the arena forced me to throw away a $58 steak I couldn't finish.

By hollandsanne2 |

Ate at the Michael Jordan Steakhouse (which is great food and service) before the show. I couldn't finish my $58 steak which they graciously double wrapped for me so I could put it in my purse. However, Security made me throw it away because they don't allow you to take it in. The irony of the situation is that they serve both food and drinks inside the arena. Emailed head of security, as well as CEO and Board members. Still waiting for the courtesy of a response.

Awful

By bjdpd |

Getting into the arena is an absolutely ridiculous process. The line winds around and around. Took an hour to get in and the opening act was nearly over by the time we were seated. It’s hard to believe this arena has such an awful process for getting in.
The seats were so close together and uncomfortable. The entry process, uncomfortable seats and the fact that the show was barely an hour made this the first and last time we will go to the arena.

Great Concert Venue

By gbpack107 |

If you want to enjoy a concert in a comfortable size venue in Connecticut don't overlook this indoor arena. While its inside the Mohegan Sun it gives you wide variety of restaurants and plenty of parking.

Sebastian Maniscalco

By David-Vickie |

We came here Saturday night to see Sebastian and he was fantastic. 10,000 seat area was great. Neat clean and organized. Would definitely come here to see another show.

Ok Venue!

By Robby7 |

This venue was pretty good pretty much can see from any seat in the house! The seats of tiny and very uncomfortable maybe time for a little renovation. Refreshments are overpriced like any other arena. The staff seem to be very friendly, there was only one exit and entrance so plan on doing a little walking depending upon where you sit.overall it's a nice place.

Twenty One Pilots Concert

By 6happyhikers |

Great venue for a concert. Ample security. Needed better organization for seat patrons vs. general admission. Seemed a little chaotic. Slow going to exit the arena. Should streamline the exit process.

CT Suns Basketball

By MM8803 |

We often attend events at the Mohegan Sun Arena- usually CT Suns games. Most of the seats are comfortable. I'd recommend avoiding row "S" as there is a safety bar that limits leg room in this row. The seats in the upper level are a little wider than the seats in the lower level.

Great venue

By NYMike120 |

We have been to several concerts at Mohegan Sun. It is a great arena space with all seats having a good view as far as we can tell. The prices are very affordable and we have been comped tickets to a few shows as well. For us it's a great night out.

Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons

By Mikecarstop |

Doors opened at 7 PM for a 8 PM show. Security had the metal detector walk throughs in place and there were four machines ready for the incoming crowd. Two for people with bags, and two for no bags. The process was smooth and tickets were checked inside and we were directed to our seats. Large size arena with comfortable seats. The show did not start at 8 PM but once Frankie Valle arrived, the crowd went wild. He sang his top songs from his early days to his hits from Grease. It was a fantastic show and the Four Seasons, and the band was on cue and great. At 87 years old, Frankie can still sing, and walk onto the stage. It was a great night, and a great show.

Solid experience, professional staff

By Tuco33 |

I took my daughter to a concert and I was impressed with the crowd control, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, including the box office staff, and security, who looked like they wanted to be there. When the show ended they got the crowd out promptly and in an orderly way.

Concert

By Sarah M |

Isley Brothers were fantastic. Love the Arena. Easy access to everything. Have Culture Club tickets 11/16, cannot wait.

love the vibe

By meworldtraveller |

the atmosphere and vibe was great. very fun and great food options, great shopping area too. was so much to do even of you were not a huge gambling person. again didnt see much sanitizing of machines.

Can find some cheaper tables than Foxwoods

By macdonald23 |

It's possible to find dome cheaper tables like $5 tables for craps in the afternoon which is nice and $10 tables at night. Better than Foxwoods.

Security clearance was ridiculous.

By Cindyd56 |

First let me say the venue itself is beautiful. Our seats were good. Sound was a little loud with some distortion, but passable, and Josh Groban was amazing. The problem we had was getting in to the Arena !! We arrived at 7:20 for the 8pm concert . We were met by a huge line which wrapped around the casino. Crazy. So , ok, should be moving along quickly....not!! We inched along in line watching many people cut the line ahead of us. Once we got to the entrance at 8:30 !!!!! we saw that they were literally frisking everyone at the point of entry...then wanding all purses etc...Now, I have no problem with security procedures at any event, but if this is a new procedure, at least post something on your website that tells you to plan ahead and to expect this !! Or put a notice in front of entrance to arena which we walked by several times while at the casino that afternoon !! The arena staff working there were very very rude...when we complained to them that we ( and everyone in line with us who actually waited in line and didnt cut it) were missing the opening act because of this, she said Well you should have gotten here earlier...this is our new security thing we have to do....seriously!!!! we had been online waiting to get in for over an hour!!! Ridiculous....especially since they only started letting people in at 7pm. Again..I have no problem with security measures but at least make people aware of them so people don't have to miss the opening act...I mean ..it's Idina Menzel for crying out loud, not some no name run of the mill opening act. We were SO disappointed at that. Very poor planning and execution on the part of the Arena personnel. Once we got in things quickly improved. No thanks to them.

A great place to see a show

By m r |

A great place to see shows, almost any seat is a good spot. Nice midsized concert venue.

Not to mention the shops and restaurants at the casino

Blondie/Elvis Costello

By Brandon R |

Great show from two decade-spanning greats. High energy, great lighting, good speakers, just a good venue for an excellent double-header. Thanks for such a fun night

Foreigner concert was Awesome!

By br878 |

My husband has been wanting to see Foreigner for years so I got him tickets for his birthdday, the concert was all we hoped it would be, they are consummate performers! We stayed overnight at Earth Tower, which was really nice, had dinner at Summer Shack before concert, and grabbed some garlic parmesan wings at Game On after concert. Best night ever!

Jacob was exceptional!!!

By James T |

My girlfriend and I went to see Journey, and unfortunatly didnt have seats together. Jacob was over the top in giving us directions and trying to accomidate seating us together even though our seats were not together. He made a great night even better, thanks JACOB.....you ROCK!!!!!

Great venue.

By realtorlmh |

We go for Black wolfves games frequenly. It is very clean and the security is good. The staff are usually friendly and it is pretty easier to maneuver. We valet park in the Summer garage and its close to the entry of the arena

Casino

By Chadwyck1 |

Nice casino. Always busy. Nice change than foxwoods. Need to come more offten. It werth the trip. Planning my next trip

Tight seating

By Tanner L |

Do NOT buy lower level , row S, section 28.
There is a iron railing super close to seats. I’m 5’8” and my nephew was 6’4” and both of us couldn’t sit in our seats! So uncomfortable. He sat with legs in aisle where the steps are and he got dirty looks. I was very uncomfortable. 2 people got up and left next to us . Mohegan makes so much $ they should just take that row out !

Beautiful

By teddystouch |

Loved the room and the view of the Thames River was awsome. Casino was fine but the smoke even in the non smoking area bothered me. I knew it would though. Didn't win, but still had a good time. Service was excellent.

Perfect size

By wmccfp |

Large enough to hold 10,000 but small enough to feel intimate. Great for watching basketball and probably anything else.

Super nice staff, uncomfortable seating, terrible acoustics

By Allison M |

My first time at this arena was to see U2. The title sums it up. Pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Very unusual for bigger arenas. Seating areas are cramped and stuffy. Unless you're on an aisle, it's impossible to not be constantly bumping into people on either side of you, especially when standing up (which is normal for rock shows). Acoustics were terrible - very "boomy", and U2 has one of the top sound guys in the world so it wasn't horrible for that show. In less experienced hands, I could see it leading to muffled sound. One other thing to note - food options are extremely limited inside. I didn't have time to eat before going in, but suggest you do so if you want more than the usual junk.

Great Show! Nice venue.

By fishfry45 |

Seats were a little tight. I was sitting next to a guy who took up half of my seat and he wasn't big, just tall. But the stage felt nice and close, the lighting and effects were great and the sound was good.

Sadly the new casino effect is totally gone

By golfnut51 |

just another smoky casino with tight slots. Previous trips here were a pleasant change from other Northeast US casinos. Now the facility is just as unpleasant as other casinos.

Relatively Intimate......

By differentname |

It is not huge, and you are relatively close to the performers compared to some of the venues that are hosted in, what I call, huge caverns.

But the most fun we had today was a back stage tour and a visit to the performers 'Great Wall', where the artists leave their signatures, drawings, stencils, words of wisdom and stamps.

Great for Neil Diamond

By Shelly C |

This was the first concert I had seen here and I loved it. We were actually slightly behind the stage but it was perfect. Easy in and easy out. I wish it were a little closer.

A great place to see a show

By scott g |

Reading some of the other reviews puzzled me. I dont think some know the sound is directly produced by the bank, not the arena. A good sound crew will fix the sound. Many concerts start off iffy and end crystal clear. For me I love the friendly nature of those that work there. The ease to get in and out. The closeness of all seats. How clean everything is. I do wish they would have a food only or a drink only line though. Waits can be long to get something as they dont open all the windows. Over all I love seeing shows here. I have learned if something goes wrong, if you need something, be nice and they will take good care of you, be mean and get nothing.

Great Place for a Show

By mike l |

We went to the concert by Josh Groban and Idina Menzel. It was excellent. The acoustics of this venue are very good. You can get seats on the floor or raised rows on the side.

Couple of Concerts

By PerocCT |

Having Recently seen Josh Groban and Trans Siberian Orchestra here. Our seats where to the side in the upper area but they gave us a good view from above.

Good shows and concerts offered.

By Elizabeth B |

A very large venue with good seating throughout. Two large screens so you get a good view from anywhere. Good sound system. Clean and many food/snack/drink options/

Great sound!

By Ketana_01 |

We went there for a concert and we had a lot of fun. At the beginning we were not happy with the seats because they were way to high and I got dizzy looking down lol. The staff was very friendly and a soon we told them about the problem with our seats they offered to change it with out any problem.

It's been years since I've been there but it is a wonderful, beautiful casino.

By Jim P |

Besides all of the action that is casino gambling, the shows are awesome. Everyone plays here sooner of later.

Great sound, friendly staff. Love going to concerts in this arena! Lots of booths for shorter beverage and food lines. Easy walking through security.

Bon Jovi concert at Mohegan Sun Arena - great venue!

By Peter C |

Mohegan Sun Arena - very nice venue! Lots of vendors (food, souvenirs) & bathrooms. Only downside - just one main entrance/exit so took awhile to get out but it was orderly. Seats facing directly to stage (on mid-levels, sections 19 & 21)- there are two hanging electrical wires to right and left on center row so it’s a bit annoying to have less than 100% unobstructed view; the wires are probably there just for concerts &/or for this event as it was being taped. Would come back for another event!

Great Concert Venue

By Marylikestotravel181 |

I finally had the opportunity to attend a concert at the arena. Overall I was impressed with it. There were plenty of concession stands, rest rooms and merchandise was sold inside the arena as well. The ushers were professional. We spent the night at The Hyatt Place as the rates were much lower than staying on the property, although I would have loved to have stayed on the property. The Hyatt Place had shuttle service to and from the casino and ran until midnight and when speaking with the driver he had indicated that many people spend the night at The Hyatt Place when attending a show at the arena. Overall, a great experience.

LIonel Richie from the VERY LAST ROW and still impressed....

By Kim F |

Clean, beautiful, and great sound/tech additions to the show. Every stadium seat is a good seat. We were in the very last row and it was amazing. Could hear and see everything and everyone. Beautiful video screens behind, pleasing to eye and tons of food/drink options around.

Mohegan Sun Arena Rocks

Mohegan Sun Arena is a fantastic concert venue! At different times I’ve had floor seats to nose bleeds and regardless the sound & view of stage is great no matter what. Take in the convenience of dining & hotel accommodations on site or nearby with shuttle services it’s always a stress free enjoyable experience!

Great venue for any type of show

By John2032016 |

From concerts to sporting events this is a great venue. There isn’t a bad seat. It holds up to 10,000 people and never feels “cramped”.

10 out of 10!

By Shirley Mancini |

Saw Frankie Valli here last night and we had a great time! The lighting and sound was great. The staff, from security to ushers to lounge attendants were all pleasant and helpful. The clean bathroom was a refreshing suprise! Parked in the reserved parking, making it super easy to access the venue and easy out after the show. Keep up the great work!

Concert Venue

By BetsyC10384 |

We have been to this venue in the past and had another concert this past weekend. There really isn't a bad seat but they aren't very comfortable and there are not drink holders or anything so you have to make sure not to spill anything - because concessions are standard venue pricing ($8 beers, $3.50 for water). Sometimes the acoustics can be bad but that is more on the bands than the venue, since they are good more than bad. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bands that play in Boston usually play here and for us it's more convenient to travel here. Parking is free and there is plenty of it along with restaurants to pick from. I would recommend anyone see a concert here.

Nice concert venue

The Sun Arena is a comfortable venue for musical shows and concerts. The acoustics were very good. The seating is comfortable. Ambient temperature and air quality was very good. The venue is nicely sized with no bad seats. We would recommend attending concerts at the Sun Arena.

Great experience at Imagine Dragons concert

By TheSecretVagabond |

I took my 14-year-old daughter to see Imagine Dragons here and we had a great experience. We parked for free on the upper deck of a parking garage and made our way to the theater, which was about a 10-minute walk through the casino. The major negative of this venue for us was the amount of cigarette smoke. It even smells in the no smoking areas. Prior to the doors opening, the line was ridiculously long and snaked through smoke-covered, cavernous building. Once the doors opened, the line moved quickly. Keep your eye on which ticket-takers have shorter lines. It’s easy to go to a less crowded line and bypass the crowd. Once Inside, the merchandise line was insane. We walked around to the other side of the arena to the merch tables there: very short lines. We sat in section 21, row H. The theater is small, 10,000 seats, so there’s not a far seat in the house. When the band came to the back stage, we had a phenomenal view. You can purchase food, drinks, and alcohol. Getting out of the parking garage was not a nightmare. I’d definitely see another show here, even though I smelled like smoke. Eeeeew

Billy Idol and Bryan Adams

Wonderful venue. Excellent site lines. Safe and secure with helpful security and ushers. Excellent sound. Easy access and exit with immediate proximity from casinos and hotels. One of our favorite venues.

Sting Concert

By ErinO219 |

The arena is a good size for a concert- not quite intimate, but not really a bad seat in the house. The ushers were aggressive in checking tickets and taking us to our seats, even when I was returning after having already been seated. They then failed to stop anyone from filming the concert, which was pretty distracting. The person seated next to me filmed the entire performance. People in our section were also loud and disruptive during acoustic performances, and the ushers did nothing. It took us 15 minutes to exit because the whole arena leaves through the one set of main doors. There are exit doors lining the arena; I'm not sure why they can't open some of those doors to alleviate the traffic. Certainly not the best concert going experience.

New Years Eve

Partied here on new years eve and the atmosphere was electric. It was a lot of fun drinking, gambling, and dancing throughout the night as we rang in the new year in style

Sting Concert

Awesome venue! I cannot say anything negative about this arena. No seat is a bad seat. Perfect for a concert. (Parking on the other hand is a little confusing-we drove around in circles for 15 mins)

Needs updating.

Went to see Dancing with the Stars recently. The show was good by the optics were lousy.

Sitting on the mid level side of arena is most certainly not the best for watching a stage show.

There was a lot of glare from the lighting, the screens set up to show close ups were obstructed.

To get the best view from the first row seating in section 17, we had to lean forward and turn to our left for the entire show. Not very comfortable.

This Arena Rocks

Saw Faith Hill and Tim McGraw here on Friday Night. We sat in section 15 row F seats 9-10 which were fantastic seats. There was an opening boy band called The Shadowboxers and those kids rocked that place.Sitting that close it is deafening and hard to distinguish some of the lyrics but awesome at the same time.Tim and Faith were fantastic! Great show and I must say Faith rocked and outdid Tim in both my Gf and my eyes.BTW these pics were taken with iPhone 5 camera and no zoom

Great Show!

Derek and Julianne Hough's show "Move' was outstanding! The dancing, costumes, special effects and choreography were amazing!

Good venue for a concert

By W L |

It's a great size for a concert. It holds about 10,000 people so you can actually see the performers from any seat in the house. It's much nicer than stadium venues where the performers look like tiny unrecognizable people on the stage.
The staff is professional and pleasant too.

Smaller arean, good set up for shows

By RocklandKris |

This arena has approx 10,000 seats so you can see from most anywhere. I had seats on the floor, not too far from the stage. There was a giant bald man in front of me that made seeing difficult, not the arean's fault though.
I did go out mid way through the main act and the bars/stands were closed. I wanted a water but didn't see any place in sight.

Game of Thrones Concert

wow! What an awesome concert. The arena has a decwnt amount of seats, the acoustics are great, and plenty of security and ushers to help you.

The Worst Venue Ever!!!!

By dragonfly8646 |

This is the worst venue to view a show. The parking is atrocious. We paid $15 cash to park with no receipt needing handicapped parking only to be told none available and to exit and come back in. What a fiasco!!!! We will never be returning to this venue. We live in NJ snd Giant Stadium parking has never been such a fiasco.

bob seeger concert

By njtripdad |

went to see a show in september. great venue, seats about 10,000. i think almost any seat is good. helpful attendants, plenty of stands to get food or drink.

so much to do and see inside. place is beautiful, and people are nice

Convenient for concerts but ...

By Doc Sam |

Can't beat the location (right off the highway) and convenient parking. Prices are par for a casino but sound quality could be better. Big name acts show up often.

Great Venue

By JohnN59 |

This was our first visit to see a show at the Arena.
Every seat is a good seat as it’s not a ginormous stadium.
Viewing the acts on stage was great!
Very good acoustically as well.
It’s also very nice to have all kinds vendors for drink and food just outside.
Billy Idol & Bryan Adams both out on a fantastic show!
We’ll be scouting more shows to see here.
Great venue!

Too annoying for a seeming very nice place...

By ggary759 |

Overall impression: very clean and well kept.

Employees we encountered were pleasant.

The bad:

Arena seats were very uncomfortable. Back support was lousy. My back ached throughout the concert.

The toilets were so low I had a lot of trouble getting up, and my boyfriend had to have me get a male manager summoned to help him; he was stuck for 20 minutes. His knees are not good and it was very embarrassing for him. He's not in a wheel chair, but that wouldn't have helped him any. No handicapped toilet signs around.

Very hard time finding the food court. We came in at the "adult" garage because we're...adults. Apparently you just have to realize to "use the people under 21 years old" entrance to find food! Who knew? Gamblers don't eat? None are diabetic? We had to walk all over to finally find the food area. Why make it so hard?? Put up signs! It took us 45 confused minutes...

We were exhausted by then and not in the best frame of mind for enjoying our concert. We're not going to see the Doobies or anyone else here again.

Every seat is a good seat

We went with a group to see the Bellator Event. Restrooms are conveniently located. Beverages and food are easily accessible and a variety of choices are available right outside the Arena.

Great Concert Venue / CCR Still Rocks

By Alan S |

We saw Creedence Clearwater Revisited play here. The Mohegan Sun Arena is conveniently located in the Mohegan Sun casino complex which makes for an easy, fun-filled evening. We enjoyed dinner at Michael Jordan's Sportscafe, had ice cream for dessert at Ben & Jerry's, spent some time in the casino, and then headed to the arena for a great show by CCR. Good acoustics. Good stage lighting. Comfortable seats with all unobstructed views. Good large screens for concert enhancement. Plenty of staff on hand to get you to your proper seats quickly. Great experience. Lots of world-class entertainment is scheduled here. CCR still rocks!!!

Great Sightlines!

By Jim A |

We enjoyed Bel Biv Devoe here one evening and was impressed by the arena. Great sighlines and ample concessions so you are quickly back to your seat. Men's rooms were hard to find and seating feels rickety as it flods back, but overall and excellent experience.

Best Venue I have ever been to

By 6happyhikers |

I have been to a lot of concerts and this is by far the best venue. Staff is amazing. Every seat is spectacular. We sat 2nd row from the top and it was still great! Decent prices on concessions. Clean, large bathrooms. Can’t wait to come back!

We always go to Mohegan Sun Arena for concerts. It is a great place. There isn’t a bad seat in the place, unless you are on the floor, then that’s the best place. Great sound, big screens to see the up close. We highly recommend this arena.
