42 of 55 Best Attractions in Wisconsin Dells

Theme park: This is not Cedar Point or Universal Studios by any means, but it's still a step up from some of the other smaller Wisconsin parks (Bay Beach, etc). However, be warned - all the coasters are wooden and they can be INTENSE. For some, this is a perk.
However, I am now realizing my days riding Hades 360 are behind me thanks to a 40 year old body with some chronic neck/back problems. It is an INTENSE coaster - I loved it back in my younger days. An insane hill, a pitch black tunnel, and a corkscrew. However, the whiplash is insane, and for the first time I felt myself facing my own mortality while riding it as I started to worry I might seriously injure myself on it. I was sore for two days afterwards. (For what it's worth, my 10 year old, who was getting his first taste of real coasters, said that he experienced "inner peace" and that it was one of the best experiences of his life, hahaha.)
The other coasters are also a bit jerky, but not to that extent.
The go-kart tracks are also quite fun, with several long tracks with some fun features. That said, the Trojan Horse track does NOT actually go up into the horse, which is a bit of a bummer.
Water Park: We were disappointed to see that the indoor park is closed in the summer, as I really wanted to soak in the hot tub. For me that was the biggest downside - the water was COLD and the outdoor parks do not have any hot tub features. However, my kids LOVED the huge wave pool (which was very intense), and we all had a lot of fun on the various slides (although the lines could get quite long). We also tried out the lazy river and my kids enjoyed the kids' play area (although one of them wasn't so fond of the big bucket).
The indoor Medusa Slidewheel is open and we all agreed it was one of the best parts of the entire park, and may be one of the best water slides I've ridden. It gets a bonus point for having heated water! But it is a really interesting dynamic, and we got some good airtime, and I loved the pitch black slide at the end, but I never felt jerked around or like I was going to flip/fall out. We got there early and were able to ride it twice. The small indoor area that they keep open (a small pool and a kids area) is nice in that it is heated, but most of the fun to be had is outside.
The food is not great - we ate at the Hades BBQ and it was pretty average. Not many choices, mostly heavily fried stuff, mediocre pizza, etc. I DID very much enjoy the slushies/drinks in the water park, and it did look like the water park area had some better food choices (my husband got a gyro).
So, while this is not on the level of a more high end park, we did have a good time with our kids, and it was a great chance to introduce them to bigger coasters now that they are ready for that, and getting them ready to be able to handle Cedar Point.

I will not be coming back to Mt. Olympus! This hotel is the worse I have ever stayed. Check in process was a joke. I had lost my card that I reserved the room under instead of changing the card number in the system they refunded me the money then recharged the room under my new card number. Then to go check out they offered the option to use a different card number. No staff in hotel. The noise level is very loud that my young kids could not sleep. Called and complained 3xs for them to do something. Room next to us was smoking weed. kids running up and down the hall knocking on doors. Though out the night. Staff was vacuuming the hallway in the middle of the night. Doors to the building were broken.( didn't even lock) Hair in shower. The beds (everytime you moved the squeaked) and pillows were the worse I ever had to deal with. The bunk bed had a 3in mattress on it. ( it felt like the kids were sleeping on a hard board on the bottom.) Found dead bugs in the room. The bathroom- shower was not hot. The toilet had to be flushed 2x to get everything down. Plus the toilet is made for a 4 year old child.
The pool area is over crowded, not enough tubes. Tubes were half flat. Cold inside the pool area water not warm for my young kids. Pool staff just shoved you out of the way. One kid PUKED on the ship slide they shut it down to clean it up then reopened the slide back up. It was only shut down for maybe a half hour.
When I called and brought up my concerns I was told you can come and get a refund and check out for the one night. Remind you we had a 2 night stay.
So please save your time and stress. Spend the extra money to stay someplace else. We will not be returning and I will not recommend anyone to go there.

Staff was not friendly at all!!
I went for one water slide. I lost little balance and my mounting pad fell down. I could not return myself back and hit my chin with slide. Now I have stitches there!!! If I fall down on slide and hot my head then I will be dead I think. The lady was watching me but she didn’t move from her place to help me...rediculous !!!!!
Dear staff!! We know it’s our responsibility to take care of ourselves. Please help people when they are in need. Don’t follow policies like dumb. I will never go again !!!

We had an absolute blast! There is something for everyone. We stayed in building #1, which is located closest to the water park (no coffee maker in room fyi)

Mount Olympus should be ashamed at their accommodations for the price of a stay almost $900 for 3 nights.
You have how many buildings and passing you sell but can update rooms.
The bed/ mattresses are atrocious. Huge divots in the mattress. Just spent our second night here and couldn't sleep because my body hurts so bad. Its made it so I can't enjoy the rest of the trip because I hurt and didn't sleep. Seriously I took a nap in my car and thinking about sleeping in it for our last night here.
The hotel room specifically the bathroom smells of mold. We refused to shower. The towels have long black hairs on them. And there are red mystery splatters on the wall in the bathroom.
My kid has reactive airway disease and starting getting his allergy cough the night we came.
There all no towels to be found at the water park either.
We will never return.

My visit was much better than the first time I stayed here. I was unable to deal with the arcade or the other indoor activities because of construction at the time. We spent our time at the outdoor waterpark, but I only stayed in the water for a few minutes...it was cold as ice again! The staff was much better than the people from my first visit, and the theme park was good. I felt better about this resort after I ended the vacation.

To start, the check-in process was lengthy. Be sure to google the address provided with check-in, as it is not located anywhere near the hotel/motels.
The room was dirty, with food on the walls, popcorn in my kid's bed, 6 towels for 5 people for 3 days and when I called for more, I never received them.
The first night we stayed, we barely slept. There was a group congregated outside of our window drinking and smoking (not just cigarettes), and yelling profanities for my young kids to easily hear. When I called the front desk, they said they would address. That was at 11pm, the party went on until just after 2am. We also had an intoxicated person trying to use their key card on our door for over 10 minutes. I called security but there was no response. We additionally listened to people running and forth both on our floor and the floor above well into the early morning hours.
The waterpark was terribly overcrowded.... they do not have enough outdoor waterpark activities to support the number of passes that you are supplying with the hotels. Perhaps this is better when the indoor water park is also open? But it was not when we were there.

Here’s just a few things to know before you go :
-If you stay at the hotel on some big discounted rate, you’ll end up paying an additional resort fee $39+ & +$10 parking fee. The advantages is you get waterpark passes to get in. If you HAVE 4+ people it really pays to BOOK at their resort, just to get the Tixs. (Inside tip: just because you book at the resort-doesn’t mean you have to stay there, after seeing some of their rooms I don’t think it would be my first choice. But to book the room and get the waterpark passes would be worth it if you have 4+people .) You get all the water passes and availability into other parks and you get extra days out of it. Even after staying at another resort, it’s almost worth it to book the hotel room to get all the extra waterpark passes.
-If you book your tickets online ahead of time you can get a $5 discount, PP
- if you’re dropping somebody off, they make you pay $40 to drive through their BIG parking lot, and they tell you that at the exit you’ll get the money refunded. NOTE: There is nobody sitting there at the end to give the money back. You have to park; go up to the admissions window, they summons a supervisor and you wait 10 to 20 minutes. Once a supervisor gets back they drill you … only to tell you that you’ll get your $40 parking fee back in 3 to 5 days!
-DROP OFF TIP! If you’re dropping off, you can drop people off at the white upside down house. There’s an entrance (open area); walk across the parking lot.
Waiting a half an hour, to get your $40 back is kind of BS#%*! 🤨
-Hey management, maybe you should train your people at the parking attendant gate to give the real truth about getting fee back using a ‘drop off’.
- As for the park itself, I have no real comment. Basic opinion. It’s nothing more than “Disney operation“ . .

Great place and great service. I have been staying at this resort for a few times, every time it’s an amazing experience, the kids love it !!!

There are like three hotels really close to mount Olympus water & theme park and they give a discount.
Plus the rooms have REALLY cool wallpapers like- oops- I let you find out by yourself.
And there is no breakfast at the hotel but are lots of fast food resturants south of the water park.

Outrageous parking fee! When you pull into the lot you don't know that there is a parking fee or what the fee is until you arrive at the toll booth. We stopped by just to do some Go Karting only to be corralled into a line for a parking fee. What a joke. In a far far, far time ago, you used to be able to just pull in and go and pat for what you wanted to use instead of another user fee after user fee

We had a family of 15 in 5 different rooms which we were able to get right next to each other which was really great! The rooms were clean and bunk beds were really cool! My biggest gripe is nothing opens until 10am. We had children in our group (as I'm sure most people do that stay here) that wake up at a normal time and had to sit around for HOURS before we could even get a coffee or something to eat from the cafe. This also means kids are running around rooms restless because there's nothing to do, the room above us was also a large family with kids and they were stomping around all morning which I can't blame them since there's really no where to go to let out some energy. Everything else was great but I just wish things would open even an hour earlier!

My family I went to mount olympus for a week and enjoyed about stay. We stay at their hotel and it was clean, we had an issue with our remote not working and the maintenance guy came right away and fixed the issue for us. The outdoor water park the kids all loved and also the rides that were included with our stay. I wish more of the indoor water park was open but it’s under maintenance at the moment but their is still a lot to do outside.

They said they were going to upgrade our room and it was a downgrade... The beds for 25 years old, and the people upstairs kept us up all night, . The water park was freezing cold inside... They're a lot of different water parks to go in Wisconsin dells do not go to this one. The management just told me hopefully next time you're experience will be better, seriously I would never go back there ever! They allowed their employees to blatantly lie to your face! They could have cared less that it was an awful experience!!!!

We had a great time on roller coasters and go Karts. The coasters are wooden and a bit jerky so be careful if you have back issues. It is hard to get a family through the park; there are few restrooms and the ones they have desperately need updating and cleaning. The set-up is awkward and makes for difficulty entertaining the whole family simultaneously.

To start with, the room was not as we were led to believe. We a room with a queen bed and double bunk. When booking the room, the pictures showed a room with a separate “cubby” where the bunks were. That was not the case in our room. It was a small room with the bunk beds directly next to the queen bed with no separation.
The room did not have any carpeting which made the room seem “cheap” and cold. There was ice melt on the floor in the entryway before we even arrived. The room seemed very “dated” and neglected. It was very small as well. There were very few outlets in convenient locations for charging phones, headphones, etc.
There was no table in the room. Just a wood “shelf” that looked handmade and 2 chairs. For a room with a queen bed and bunk needs I would assume there would be seating for at least 4 people since it seems to be designed for families. There was a mini fridge and very old microwave but no other amenities.
The queen bed we slept in was incredibly uncomfortable. So much so that had the floor been carpeted I think I would have slept on the floor instead.
The shower in the bathroom had the hot and cold water reversed. We spent some time with the water running on “hot” only to find out it stayed cold until we switched it to the “cold” setting.
The walls and floors and extremely thin. We could hear every step the people in the room above us took. They were up past midnight moving things around and pounding and we could not sleep. It was incredibly disruptive and annoying.
Now on to the indoor water park. First, I want to talk about the parking situation. If you are not staying at the hotel attached to the water park they make you park in this back parking lot that is a very long walk to the water park. Since we went in the winter this made it even worse. There was no shuttle or indoor walkway or anything. There wasn’t even a sidewalk leading to the entrance we had to walk on the road, which was not plowed very well or salted by the way. It felt like because we didn’t spend the extra money for a room attached to the water park we were thrown to the back with little regard for us.
We enjoyed our time at the water park and made the most of it but there isn’t much to do. There are 2 slides and a lazy river and that’s it. There is the “Medusa” attraction which was really fun the first time and then unimpressive subsequent times after that. After about 4 hours there we found ourselves pretty bored and ready to leave already.
The bathroom/changing room was FREEZING! The floors felt like walking on ice. I was afraid I might get hypothermia just using the restroom. In fact, the whole indoor water park itself was pretty chilly if you got out of the water and were wet. Our first day there the water was cold too. The second day the lazy river water was warm, but the pool water was freezing cold.
The one positive we have is the wristbands. We like that the wristbands were used as room keys and you could use the wristband to charge stuff to your room like food.

Price was high for sub service. Theme park has grown and no management offices on site at main park. Place needs huge improvement. I felt better off going to the Wilderness. Will never return

Took my son, his wife and granddaughters there as their Christmas present. We all had a good time swimming, playing games and going on rides at the indoor theme park and enjoyed the lights and 3 walk through attractions

I would have security patrol this building ,we stayed in hotel Rome . This place is a free-for-all there are kids bouncing balls in the foyer playing volleyball down there and kicking soccer balls there are kids wandering the hallways going from room to room with plates of food I feel this is a storage for Sanctuary people because they are running the Halls all night . this place is not good to stay especially if you want to sleep. There are people sitting on the staircases leading into the building all night. There was one teenage boy I seen several times shaking door knobs on hotel rooms. it appeared he was trying to see if the doors were not closed all the way so he could steal ,this is not a good place this is not what I remember Wisconsin Dells was all about ,to me it looks like a sanctuary for immigrants to be stored in .very dirty. It looked like somebody shaved and left the hair all over the floor in our room. And the toilet was broke and it ran all night. I asked for a bath mat and they said they don't have them, that is how cheap this place is. We will not be staying here ever again and I do not recommend this for anyone who wants to have a nice vacation.

Deceptive & false advertising. You don't get 50% off when booking. The $4600 charges were not reversed. The 4 bedroom house was old, dishes were dirty. Broken blinds. Thin linen. No broom or mop. Indoor Waterpark & theme park was closed. Supervisor tried to make it seem like I not called or complained until day before check out. We left one day early & received $1500 back. Mamangement never responded to emails nor called to mitigate. 3 Rollercoasters. Waterpark average. Definitely not worth the money

Do NOT stay in a Mt. Olympus "hotel", the check in building is so decieveing from what you actually get for a "hotel room"
We were in building 22 which was miles away from the check in building, and a 5-7 min drive (not walk) from the actual water park. I will not point form explain the issues we had with all aspects of the hotel room, indoor water park and indoor "amusement park".
Hotel Room:
-There is no staff onsite of any hotel buildings.
-Hotel buildings are from the 60's and not at all updated.
- Thin doors and walls, makes for noise to carry lots
-floors seemed clean but because of how told everything was it felt very dirty.
-Bedding is as old as the rooms.
-Mattress on the bunk beds are plastic covered, which makes fitted sheets slip off.
-Three night stay, not once did we see a housekeepers, no garbage collected, beds not made up, and no extra towels supplied.
- dust on all fans and baseboard heaters,
-corner of rooms are filled with crumbs and dirt
- no hooks in bathroom to hang bathing suits or towels
- no hand towels, only old large towels and old face clothes
-no coffee or coffee maker
-previous guests water bottle under bunkbed
-hallways and stairs are carpeted and look as though they have never seen a vacuum.
-entering the building a key is required but our 5yr old was able to open the door without a key multiple times.
-fire alarm looked as though it had been pulled and never locked in again.
- glass broken outside and not cleaned up.
Indoor "Theme park"
-four rides available to children, all very old rides. airplanes, teacups, swings and bumper cars. All of which were too young for our 10yr old. The golf was included in the wrist bands so the 10yr old golfed with her dad.
The remainder of the theme park was arcade games which you load a card for and swipe to play, loading the card costs money of course but the tickets didn't come out in any of the machines. They all said "tickets owing ##" but nothing came out.
-Total money grab!!
- If you wanted to get a table or bench to rest you had to always be watching for someone to leave and run to get a spot. All of the other space is reserved for seating only if you pay $100+ to sit at a table. There were MANY open spots because no one wanted to pay to sit down at an already over priced "resort".
Indoor Water Park
-very busy
-no where to sit, unless AGAIN you purchase a "cabana" which costs over $100.
-It was a battle to get a chair.
-Most guests were putting their items on the dirty, wet floors and sitting on small towels that the resort supplies.
-Food is available to purchase, but you will eat standing up because they have no tables to eat at.
-about 20 tables are available in an upper loft type thing, all of those tables were taken by early morning so there was no way if you went around 10am that you would get one. The loft is above most of the water park, you have no visual of your children if you are up there.
-boots and outdoor shoes are allowed in the entire water park. I saw a man standing in his rubber boots right at the pools edge, by the end of the day we were walking in bare feet through muddy and outdoor sidewalk salt water.
-Inner tubes for the lazy river and green waterslide were only half full with air. My daughter and I went down the tube slide once, because of the half inflated tube we hit the water and flipped off, she was too scared to go on any other large slides after that.
-Waiting in line for a half full tube inorder float down the lazy river was a long wait.
-Lockers to store your items are very small, and they cost $15 each. We had to get three lockers because we had our winter boots and five family members worth of clothing.
-Bathroom floors are soaking wet, I didn't see any bathroom attendants or staff to clean. Guests were standing on towels in the bathroom stalls to change and leaving the towels at the toilets base. The towels piled up through the day. It was gross!
-Hair and bandaids in the pool- somewhat normal for a water park, but still pretty gross to see. Much of that also piled up through the day and no one cleaned it.
We were able to get the 50% off deal in Sept which seems to be the thing Mt Olympus does most winter months. I was excited to bring our family on this trip for their Christmas gift. Something came up and we did have to move our arrival date a few days. In order to move our date we had to pay the other 50% that we got off of the stay, so we ended up paying full price in the end. When checking in I had asked to have a room in the main building if one was available or in a building closer to the park. If we wanted to do that we would have to pay $500 extra. I said no thanks. Being Canadian with the exchange this trip was WAY overpriced for what we got. If there is a way you can stay in a local, comfortable, clean hotel room and visit the water parks and experiences on a separate budget I would suggest doing that!
Off site of Mt Olympus was a great experience, our kids had lots of fun with Top Secret, Tommy Bartlett Observatory, Many fun places to eat, our favourites were IHOP and Moose Jaw. Moose Jaw has the cutest delivery cars as well, but we dined in and really enjoyed our meals. We went to the outlet mall and that was nice, it is an open air mall so bring a jacket when you go if its winter time.
Many restaurants and places are only open in the spring and summer months, but that didn't affect the fun we were able to have off site of Olympus.

We hadn't been back to Mt. O in several years cause my kids were too little but we decided to visit with the hotel and park deal now that they're older. I expected the worst being the middle of summer, it was packed mind you and we didn't get to do the lazy river cause it was elbow to elbow crowded, but the old wave pool had open seats and my kids loved it. The 80's /90's music they played was awesome and loud enough to hear, not like some parks that barely have the volume up. There was also a food/drink shack right behind us to get beer, snacks, etc. Lines were long for slides but that's not the parks fault. Our hotel room was only across the street so that was cool, it was big enough but we did have some ants which my wife wasn't happy about. I loved that you get an extra day on checkout, we did coasters and go karts which I never did before there. Fond memories of the Dells as a kid so it's always a treat getting away up north to see the area again in the summer. Plenty of restaurants and things to do. Glad we went.

We were just at the park last week. Some good, some bad. What was open at the park was good. The indoor parks were closed due to Covid which I get. They didn't have the water slides on the hill open which was disappointing.
The room situation was horrible. First off they tried to stick in the old run down building where you check-in (building 39). You can't even walk to the park from there. So I called and the put us in building 29A which was by the park. it was inconvenient to have to move rooms. When they say a 2 to 5 minutes from the park, building 39 is not. The room we got was very basic and borderline ghetto. You could hear everyone. People were partying, smoking pot in the lot. The sink was stopped up. The AC had to be at 61 degrees or it would not work. Maintenance was no help. First time going here and not sure I would again.

There are only a handful of water slides currently open. Hardly anything for the 1000s of people that pay admission. The unaccompanied minors ruin the fun. Line jumpers are a huge problem not dealt with at all in the park. The "Ghetto" Noah's Ark of Wisconsin Dells. Indoor Theme park NOT OPEN... Indoor waterpark ONLY consists of a pool area and Medusa.
Storms in the area but lifeguards do not care. No access to radar...
Highlights
Medusa Slidewheel- other being a engineering feat pretty tame. Not a fan of waiting a hour+ in a super humid heat index of 120° sweating. A 4 out of 10
River of Troy- fast lazy river. The lifeguards do not enforce having to use a tube...the river is log jammed with so many tubes making it a safety risk as lifegaurds are not "visually scanning" .children not following the rules ruin the experience as you mow over them and they do stupid behavior and tumble in the current. We removed so many empty tunes and was a more fun experience...7 out 10.
Triton's Fury- fun but the wait times for tubes are why there is actually a line and wait here...inefficient. Look around at the top midway and notice the filth of the water areas... big gobs of hair etc. Children have no respect in line and was hit a couple times and laughed at in a different language, parental units nowhere to be found. 5 out of 10
POSEIDON’S rage- Fun and challenging. Those that know how to swim and take waves will have fun. Will get knocked around if bouy line is packed. Meh, 6 out of 10
Dephi- just a pool 2 out of 10
-Theme park attractions-
Go Karts- WAS having a absolute blast until a child going mach jesus violently slammed into me and the row of 3 others parked at the end sending the front car ahead at least 4 feet...Child kept on gas. Staff could care less did not intervene. Child was not removed after the 3rd time bumping and continued to press the gas. Was laughing that she hit me... Again a unaccompanied minor. I did not realize that my glasses were knocked off my head after the first violent hit. we went back 10 minutes later and the staff must have found them all broken. Thanks $72 down the drain. Staff gave hardly a remedy never asked if I was injured totally a -5 out of 10. Thankfully this was at the end of our visit.
The park is very spaced out and very hilly. Seen several people taking a "breather" on The entrance/exit elevation.
Loose Gravel and garbage on walkways made walking difficult.
My review probably won't matter.

Had a good experience considering we went in with low expectations after reading the reviews. There were no lines upon check-in and the person we worked with was able to accommodate moving us to a building closer to Water Park (Bldg #8). Stay in a building close to the Water Park so you can walk rather than having to drive and park. Parking is included if you're a guest.
Overall, our room was clean and had the basics, nothing fancy. Furniture looked like it was homemade, no headboards but it was fine. There were no issues with bathroom leaks/plumbing or bed bugs. TV is very small and the AC is very loud and also very strong (similar to other reviews I read). We had no issues with noise or hearing our neighbors through the walls. The towels they give you are very thin, almost like hospital towels but we did bring our own. We also brought our own pillows and sheets.
The Water Park and Amusement Park were great! Kids really enjoyed and were there from open to close. We also went stayed at Kalahari and Mt Olympus was better for the older kids in our group.
We rented a cabana the day before we went to the Park which was almost 50% cheaper than what our friends paid booking in advance. They were also a bit cheaper the day of if you want to risk it.
Kids enjoyed the slides and were able to get Icarus and Medusa done right when the park opened to beat the long lines.
The food is a bit pricey. Pizza was almost $30 and beers were $9. We were able to bring in our own water and some snacks which helped with costs.

My daughter was at the water park for a class trip and left/lost her glasses. The online form to fill out was easy. I was contacted this morning and they are mailing her glasses back. Excellent customer service and very happy Mom. Thank you!

Indoor waterpark was crowded due to cool and rainy weather. Slide lines ran very slow, which we figured was due to safety rules. When it warmed up a bit, we went to the outdoor waterpark. There were vitually no lines, so we thought we would try one of the family raft rides. There were maybe five people in front of us, and the ride operator couldn’t figure out how to efficiently run the ride…hit the button to bring a raft to the top…look at the line…load the raft….wait about five minutes and repeat the whole thing. After waiting about 15 minutes we gave up. Figured we would ride the same type rides at Noah’s Ark where they can efficiently load their rafts and get people through lines. The roller coaster and go-karts were fun.

This was a case of total misrepresentation, Mt. Olympus is not a resort, but, a mish mash of old worn out hotels throughout the older part of the “Dell’s” strip with a matching coat of paint. The room we where given was small, unattractive, out-of-date and completely over priced. We did not stay, but chose to drive 4 hours home rather than stay in this “rat-trap”. I demanded our money back and will never book with organization again. CONSUMER BEWARE !!

I was in building ten and the room was very small but at the water park I liked the slides and was pretty fun. Also I liked the ride and it was really fun and I am going there again on winter to go in the indoor theme park.

The smell of pot nearly knocked us over when we walked into the bankrupt hotel building that is now Mt. Olympus building #10.
This sounds like the opening line to a dime store novel but in actuality this was the beginning of my family vacation at meth lab Mount Olympus.
I would recommend staying somewhere else.
Anywhere else..

Our stay was very disappointing needless to say. The owner of Mt Olympus Water & Theme park has bought up a lot of the smaller hotels, should be able to provide more than the information below. We would have been better off stay somewhere else for the amount we paid to stay there.
1. Did not live up to the term resort
2. Website was misleading as to the distance walking.
3. Room was totally bare bones: 2 beds with dead boards painted on wall; no easy chair/floor lamp/coffee pot.
4. A small free standing refrigerator with microwave and ice bucket on top. The ice bucket did have a lid. When checked was informed by staff/front desk we don’t provide it.
5. No bath mat or hand towels. When asked was informed by staff/front desk we don’t provide them.
6. Bed consisted of bed linen and bed spread.
7. No cleanex was n the room.

I really enjoyed the outdoor water park, but I was disappointed that the entrance is not handicap friendly. I use a walker due to having osteoarthritis in both knees. Those hills are difficult. I am a very determined person, and I made the walk, but it was difficult. Is there another entrance that is handicap friendly? I did not stay in a room at Mount Olympus.

We stayed at a hotel that gave us free admission to Noah’s Ark Waterpark, but we had extra time and so we thought for $10 a person online, why not try Mt Olympus? It was a good purchase.
We heard terrible things about the Mt Olympus hotels from others we met on this trip. We heard they were dirty, no pools at the sites, and some were a long distance from the park. We didn’t stay in one of the hotels, but if this many people told me about their disappointing stay, it’s noteworthy.
We bought the $10 admission to the outdoor parks online. We knew the indoor facilities were closed and outdoor entertainment was limited, as some features are still closed. Parking said it would be $25 on the sign, but no one was at the toll booths, so parking was free! We rode rollercoasters, go karts, and there were water rides too.
I was disappointed that although there’s a prerecorded message for the go karts about no bumping or you wouldn’t be allowed to ride, nothing was done to enforce this. At the end of one go kart ride, the young boy behind me came into the chute and hit me at full speed, which caused a chain reaction. It was bad and nothing was done. I was surprised to see this happen at the other tracks as well. This really is a danger.
Overall, this wasn’t a great park, but definitely worth the cheap entertainment for a few hours for our family.

We have stayed at Mt. Olympus before and have enjoyed it but this time we went for spring break and were so disappointed we wouldn't waste our money coming back. With covid and the fact the own so much of the dells you would think they would represent the Dells and take pride in what they have. But instead it was disappointment after disappointment. The pools looked dirty and were very cold, garbage on the floor and the bathrooms were gross. We stayed in building 10 and were also disappointed. We had to take the phone off the hook because people were calling the room multiple time even around 11 pm then hanging up, you could hear people yelling and running down the halls all night long. They had no top cover blankets on the bed.

They need more restrooms. We had to go way into the park to find one. The coasters are kind of neat but brace yourself for lots of head-jerking and whiplash. Some rides only had one worker. We got free glasses of water at one of the bars/restaurants-maybe all of them offer free water. $30 to park seems really excessive. Go carts were fun!

I’ve been to Wisconsin Dells many times but always avoided staying at the mt Olympus resort. This time I thought why not give it a shot. Big mistake. Our room was horrible. Constant loud banging from above us so bad we couldn’t sleep. Drug deals in the hallways, people fighting over money in the parking lot, and a constant smell of marijuana in our room. Our beds only had 1 blanket on each of them so we froze. Not the family trip I wanted for my kids.
My suggestion is to stop focusing on buying up every broken down hotel in town to turn it into part of your “resort” and start making the ones you do have into classier places to stay.
It would be great if there were a option to have a pool and hot tub at your hotel and use the water park/theme park. We got tired of being at the park after a couple hours and went back to the hotel but with nothing to do there…..

We go to the dells every year and this was the WORST experience we ever had. Mt Olympus was extremely dirty and the management does nothing to assist you. We had issues with the people across the Hall smoking pot (Heavily) and it was affecting our 4 kids (all under 5) i called the front desk several times. They were banging HARD on our door all night waking the kids up. The front desk once again did nothing, except say you can change rooms...They wanted us to move 4 sleeping kids in the middle of the night vs taking care of the unruly people across the hall. They would do nothing about it. We felt unsafe here and concerns were expressed and they just didn't care. A child pooped in the pool we notified them and they just shrugged and walked away. So needless to say our kids didn't even get to utilize the indoor water park. I demanded money back for all the terrible experiences and they said nope. I said i would leave terrible reviews everywhere they said ok. Rating this hotel a 1 is high i would never recommend anyone to come here. The wilderness, Great Wolf, and Kalahari are 100 times better.

This place is way overrated! Low end of the available indoor water parks. Almost felt unclean or dirty in places. Poor changing facilities at best.

Online they had a deal for entry tickets of $5 plus fee and taxes it ended up being around 47.00 for 4 people. However, parking cost $30. Unable to bring in snacks of any kind and not many option for just a snack type option to purchase when you have littles. However, our kiddo had a great time playing in the pool, splash pad and water slides, riding the train and racing Go-karts. We went on a Monday so it was light crowd from what we saw on the weekends.

We stayed at the vue hotel and grandkids (18 months and 7) wanted to try big water park. We tried Kalahari they wanted over $400 for a day pass and this was at 1 pm. So we tried wilderness water park and they lied to us they wanted us to do a 2 hour tour. so we finally went here and for $25 a day it wasn’t bad. We did go on a cloudy day. We never stayed at the hotel. Water park was nice for us.

I tried to purchase a ticket for my niece as a gift to join friends at Mr. Olympus. The online site wasn't working so I called for help. A customer service rep helped purchase the ticket via the phone call. The ticket was charged to my account, and no ticket arrived. I called for help and was told to wait, the tickets would come soon. After more calls and still no ticket (45 minutes on hold and calling back because I kept getting put on hold) I finally had a manager get on the call. She informed me that the person who took my order put in the wrong spelling of my name even though I spell it with the "a as in apple" technique. (Also, my cc was charged so the mistake couldn't have been too dire). She fixed it and the ticket could now be sent. I explained that at this point, it was too late... my niece's ride already left for the day. I knew my niece wasn't going to be able to get back to the Dells so since the mistake was on their end, felt it was appropriate and right to own the mistake and refund my $50. The manager explained they don't do refunds. I expressed that this mistake was on their end and me being told to wait early in the process resulted in me paying $50 for their error. I promised a review of this experience. SO - I cannot speak about the waterpark as we never made it that far. I can speak to the customer service - it gets a "one star" and that is only because I think being a customer service rep for a company that has policies like this would be an awful job and even though it took a very, very long time to actually talk to a person, they were cordial. The outcome, however, was not OK. Evidently, this the Wis. Dells Mount Olympus is a that is OK making a mistake and not be accountable once they have your cc number.

We originally booked in march our yearly (missed for a couple of years due to life and covid) WI Dells trip for August at Mt Olympus and the night before we are due to leave I decided to check the website for any precautions that may still be in effect due to covid that we needed to be aware of. What i found was that half of the park was closed due to ....not covid surprisingly but to renovations! the website (in small letters) not on the reservation page but about four or five clicks in under waterparks, indoor, outdoor, does it state, in small font i might add again, the water park is closed due to renovations from May to September. I am in awe since i booked in March i must have missed an email they had to have sent informing me of this since it did not mention any type of closure when i booked in March and i looked every where on the site specifically because of the year we have all gone through. I frantically checked my email all the back to when i booked the reservation and nothing!!!! Now we have a total of 7 people going and that price tag was not small! I then checked reviews and found that most people who have went there in the last 2 months have left very poor reviews of things not working, staff not working. rooms terrible. I immediately called and was put on hold for about 20 min. I hung up and booked over at Wilderness Resort which was the best decision because my family had a blast. We drove by Mt Olympus as we were leaving to come home at 7pm at night and there were no water rides on, no slides working nothing! The only movement was the out door go carts at the horse statue in back. I am SOOOOOO glad we booked somewhere else and actually sad that our usual spot disappointed so much. I guess all good things come to an end and better things happen

I went here for a family birthday party. I was not in charge of the location and so I didn’t look at the reviews prior to arrival. The Dec 2022 reviews are very accurate for my experience as well. I would add that the locker rooms are very small to shower which was just spigots on the walls. There was a boy with his mother actually sitting on the floor of the shower area watching the girls shower. There is no area for mothers to bring male children. There is no attendant to clean the pile of old towels off of the floors. The new Medusa slide was fun and those rafts were inflated. There was a 60-minute wait per ride for Medusa. Long wait for flat tubes on the lazy river.
I went with 3 families and didn’t realize that we would be in old buildings that were miles apart with no possibility of being by each other. The rooms basically have old towels, fridge, and microwave.

We visited the indoor part only in October. The water park was fun but smaller then i had expected. They had lots of lifeguards and they were doing all their jobs well. You can stay at a connected hotel for free entry to both the water and amusement park (indoor). If in the area and the weather is crappy its definately a fun way to entertain the kids.

Was not clean, people running in halls all hours of the night, did not limit amount of people in pools at one time and did not enforce face masks at all

Overall a very good stay! Just know that Hotel Rome is noisy and easy the hear walking in the room above and people in the next room and hallway through the walls. But worth it since you can walk right to the park in less than 5 minutes. Also there is a cafe in the hotel and also a small coffee place. They made a good mocha with almond milk! The water park itself was so much fun! Lines were not too long. Poseidon's rage was crazy and the wave knocked me off my feet in below knee water, 😆! Saw the owner checking in on the park almost daily, which was very cool to see!

am writing this review to share the unacceptable and discriminatory experience I had at this water park. What was supposed to be a fun-filled day with my children quickly turned into a distressing and humiliating ordeal.
My children and I arrived at the park around 10:30 AM. The park was already getting busy, and my children were excited to start playing. I found a shaded table with four chairs, where I planned to sit with my newborn while my older children played. There were no towels, bags, or any personal items to indicate that the table was occupied.
As I was feeding my newborn, a man and his wife approached me, claiming the table was theirs. I immediately apologized, explaining that I was unaware the table was taken. I politely offered to use just one chair so my children would know where to find me, as the area was crowded and seating was limited. Unfortunately, the couple became increasingly aggressive and loudly demanded that I leave immediately.
Feeling unsafe and hoping for a peaceful resolution, I asked the man to contact park security. I believed security would mediate fairly, but to my shock, the security staff approached me with hostility. Without asking for my side of the story, they immediately ordered me to move. I was still feeding my newborn when the security guard pointed to another table (where a family with my same skin tone was sitting) and told me to “go sit with them.” I was appalled by this targeted, discriminatory behavior.
When I asked for the security guard’s name to file a formal complaint, he refused to provide his last name and falsely accused me of recording him. He then threatened to trespass me if I did not leave the park immediately.
Desperate for help, I contacted the park’s corporate office, hoping for a reasonable solution, but they dismissed me and told me to leave as well.
I left the park with my children feeling humiliated, unsafe, and completely unheard — simply because a family did not want to share space with “my kind.”
I will never return to this park and I refuse to let this incident be ignored. No family should have to experience what mine did. I am submitting this formal complaint to ensure that management, corporate leadership, and potential future guests are aware of the discriminatory practices occurring here.

Exellent service , best rooms everything we needed was there. Close to the indoor water park. Nice experience. Will go
Back again.

Here's the deal, if you want more than just water fun, yes Mt. Olympus has that. If you want real water park fun, go to Noah's Ark. There are better options for little kids and overall it is less expensive and the lines move faster. There are very few outdoor water rides at mount Olympus. Noah's Ark also has veteran's discounts (Mt. Olympus does not). Many of the hotels in the dells offer free or discount tickets for Noah's Ark. Mt. Olympus will give you a room for $60 then tack on $300 in fees for one night (super deceptive marketing).
At Mt Olympus you immediately get hit up with $25 for parking, then your ticket prices, then if you need a locker it's $15/locker which fit a purse and two towels at most. Then there are certain premium rides that cost more money once inside. The Rollercoasters are fun, but if you have any issues with your neck or back be prepared to be shaken and jarred to the point of pain. The coasters are wooden and not smooth rides by any stretch. Food is crazy expensive in the park and you are not allowed to bring in carry-ins. The food selection is also poor. Finally, there is ZERO shade available at the water park unless you spend extra for a cabana. There are some picnic tables with umbrellas, but good luck snagging one of them.
All in all, I've preferred Noah's Ark for the value, fun, amenities and cleanliness.

Everything was really great here. I also like the gyro place, the gyro and fries I had were great. Also the Chinese girl I had asked if the mochi was any good and the girl was super pretty I wish I got her snap. So if she reads this hello I’m Nathan.

We did not stay in the resort, but came in for a day in the park. The day rate for walk in at $20 per person for both water and theme park was a nice surprise and a good deal. Parking is $25 and the lockers are SUPER SMALL so we needed 2 - at $12 each. All other pricing (snacks, etc) are as expected. We had a GREAT TIME - my son loves the water side, so he and I were there, while my daughter and husband went on the coasters. Wonderful to be able to split up like that and still be in the same park. Also appreciated the rides for the smaller kids - go karts they could drive, small coaster. Nice for my son who doesn't meet height requirements for the bigger stuff. The parks seemed well staffed and clean... one suggestion - the locker rentals - she seemed to rent all the lockers in one section .... spreading it out would lessen the jam of people waiting to access their locker while someone else was using one. The park was not crowded (had rained earlier) so it did not need to be like that.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! First off its a scam with 50% off room rate. The room IS half off but you get charged an additional $84 per night "resort fee". 2nd you have no idea where your room will be. Site claims 5 min away. That is not walking. That is get in your car, try to go out on main road, and park far away. Indoor water park closed. Half out outdoor slides and wave pool closed. Stay in a regular hotel. You can still go to water park/roller coasters for only $10 per person.

We bought day passes because we wanted to ride roller coasters and go carts. Parking cost was ridiculous. We only rode Hades and then no other coasters as everyone in our group (5 people under 46yo) that rode it had neck or back pain afterward and didn’t want to get on any other coasters.
We then went for the go carts, which have turned into a free for all of kids who are too short to be riding alone- driving carts alone. And on a couple of the tracks this resulted in the kids coming in hot at the end and slamming into all the cars in front of them. At no point did the employees kick anyone out or tell them to knock it off.
Disappointed that the Trojan horse cart track has been permanently walled off so that you can’t drive up the horse anymore. A couple of the other tracks were so rough that it felt like the cart was going to shake apart before you could get to the end of the race.
Temp was in the 90s while we were there so bought water and Gatorade several times, which cost a small fortune with how much they charge for it.
We were last at Mt. Olympus in 2013, and it has definitely gone downhill since then in the way it’s managed and the employees who give zero F’s.
Definitely wouldn’t spend the money to go here again.

So we came here during November, and it was still totally fun!
All of the park and parking lot is free to hotel guests (2 indoor and 2 outdoor parks, plus events), but you can only utilize what's open per season for obvious reasons.
Remember to keep your wristbands on the entire day you're there (they're really sturdy), and put your parking permit where it's always visible, so as not to get ticketed or towed.
The indoor parks are past the Hotel Lobby, coming from the rooms.
It's kind of hard to explain how to get there, because I'm still confused by it 🙃
It's kind of confusing at first, especially if you're on any floor above the first.
There isn't a whole lot of rides in any section, but it's still loads of fun.
Lots of stairs to the top of the big rides, so if you have arthritis or any kind of disabilities that make it hard to go up a few flights of stairs, you may want to avoid them.
My husband has arthritis and asthma, and he was able to go up all of them, it just took a while.
Medusa's SlideWheel is THE best ride ever, besides the funnel rides, and the rides where you keep sliding in circles in the teacup sections before it finally lets you out.
I'd totally recommend to try this ride at least once. It can get you nauseous though, so don't eat first, and don't ride if you have any health issues that would be worsened by being kind of tossed and turned, or riding in the dark for part of the ride.
My 5 year old was able to ride this and he had a blast.
The lazy river was nice. Was kind of quick to get around, but still relaxing. You can go around more than once if it's not packed.
The adult-only hot tub was really hot and relaxing, except there were kids in it and no one was stopping them.
So I guess us adults don't really get something just to ourselves to get a break from the splashing, jumping, and yelling 😞
Still enjoyed it though.
The two other big slides were really fun.
I prefer the open one, because I have claustrophobia lol, but the enclosed was still fun.
They had tons of floats, and not very many riders on any of the rides.
None of the rides had long waits, maybe 20 min tops our first night for Medusa, and about 5 min each the second day on any ride.
They had plenty of various-sized life jackets, and tons of lockers to rent.
They do also offer pool towels if you're afraid to take your own and leave around.
Plenty of lifeguards, but there is nothing too deep for kids, especially if they are good swimmers and/or have on lifejackets.
I can't remember if the bathrooms are clean, and I don't have pictures to remind me. I only take pics when there's no other people inside.
They don't offer any food in here so eat before you arrive.
If you go too late, there aren't many chairs left, so decide a good time to arrive, so you don't have your stuff on the ground getting soaked.
You leave out from the water park, and go outside to the building across the way (less than 5 minutes).
From the outside it looks like a real building, but on the inside, it looks like a big outdoor tent. It's very warm though.
Now for the dry indoor park, they have rides, games and a restaurant.
I really wanted to try the soccer pool as I've never done that before.
It was sooo much fun.
Basically, you kick around soccer balls that look like pool table balls; play just like you would real pool just lightly kicking instead of shooting.
They need to replace one of the "cue balls" as it's really raggedy, but little kids don't care about looks like that.
They have bumper cars, bowling, a teacup ride, an airplane ride, a small swing that can hold adults, and a trolley ride that goes in a circle up in the air.
They had putt putt, and lots of arcade games, but I wouldn't recommend the claw machines, (except the ones for babies) as they were harder than usual to win.
Can't speak on the food, since we didn't buy or eat any.
They also had a Christmas scene where you can take photos, and pics with Santa.

I reserved two rooms for seven nights for June 2025 on Expedia. The total was to be $1878 for both rooms with a $1200 deposit and the balance due on arrival. After confirmation of the reservations Mt Olympus kept sending me emails stating that there was a problem with my Credit Card and that i needed to verify my billing address. As requested I sent that information by email. A few hours later I received another email asking me to call them. Once again they said that they needed to verify my billing address. because they only had the info for one room. Once again I gave it to them and was told I would receive verification in a few minutes. They sent me two QR codes for "Quick Check-in". Those codes took me to some place for an autopart. I went on my Credit card site and they charged me over $1200 twice. I was able to cancel the reservation on Expedia and both charges were removed, however this place is either crooked or so inept that they can not handle reservations for two rooms. Very concerning to say the least.

OMG! What a shocking place. Majority of staff were utterly useless, and lied to us. Did find 2 good ones all day. Did not feel safe on the rides. Hotel was appalling, told to go to one building, and the room number would be emailed. Nope 8pm at night no email/message. Called them and then we're told you are in wrong building. They expected us to then travel 1.5/2 miles. Totally unfriendly reception staff apart from 1 lady. Experienced the worst customer service for a long, long time. Stay well clear, don't waste your hard earned cash.

I was a very excellent time for me the lady in the two kids plan on going back was awesome where taking the grandkids on our next visit

My husband and I took 3 of our grandkids for a two night stay. We enjoyed the many rides and activities. On our second night our neighbors were playing VERY loud music. The first time we called the front desk was 10:30 pm. Our last and 5th call to the front desk was 1:30 am. When security went to the neighboring room he had to shout and knock on the door 4 times before he could be heard over the music. The person who answered the door was angry and asked for the room number of whom keeps complaining. Unfortunately the security officer gave it to her.
When we returned home I called customer service. We asked for a refund for our second night room rate (not the resort fees). We were told no refund because nothing had been documented regarding our calls to the front desk. Also, they have a no refund. When I asked the Manager (Maria) to talk to her boss she refused. They offered us free day passes to the park. Maria said the don’t refund rooms. So disappointing. I don’t know what we’re going to do with free passes. We won’t go back.

STAY AWAY from the “resort” - I’d stay somewhere else and go to the park (maybe) if you want. The park is probably good for kids over 8 or so. The actual rooms are fine, but there’s no noise cancellation and no staff around to so when people are yelling and playing music till 2am you get to enjoy that also. Staff WILL NOT enter your room during your stay, which I guess could be fine as I dont need clean sheets everyday, but kind of defeats the whole purpose of staying in a hotel vs airBNB. The website advertises that you can either stay within a 2 min walk or a 3-5 min walk depending on the building, but some of the buildings are more that 1/2 mile away from park entrance, so you end up driving and parking is quite a hike. The hours on website not correct. Supposed to be open till 10pm on friday/saturday, but whole park was closed by 7pm. There’s a small indoor kiddie pool, but the indoor water park is closed. Staff are not knowledgeable/helpful. All in all a very disappointing stay.

This was an absolutely terrible experience. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. My husband and I are very laid back people. We booked a 2 night stay for ourselves and 6 and 3 year old sons. We were put in an outlier building which was just right across from the Waterpark, but the parking was horribly marked. We drove way around before finding a spot. The first day we went, Fri, later afternoon was very busy but could still find a place to sit with feet in the pool. Line wasn't horrible to get a tube. Saturday was every parent's nightmare. STANDING ROOM ONLY IN ALL POOLS. No joke, literally. No room to move. No place our 6 year old could even jump in a pool Our 3 year old could barely move. There's absolutely no way it is safe. From check in to the time we left nothing great to stay about the staff. No one seemed to care what was happening. The food stand at the indoor water park was fine, but at one point I tried to get a water and the girl couldn't get my wristband to scan. She kept telling me it would not work like it was my fault and I was SOL. When I was about to walk away she giggled and said nevermind and realized it was on her end. Again, I am laid back and wouldn't have cared about a simple mistake but the attitude was just frustrating. Saturday though, zero room for anyone to even move. Was hard to even think, talk, or try to make a plan for what to do. Make sure you get a locker but go for one upstairs where there's "less" people and chaos. Even upstairs we had to sit on the floor up against a wall to eat the snack we got. The room itself wasn't horrible. It was nothing special but no complaints other than the walls were paper thin and a woman and her friends came in at 3am drunk and screaming. It woke my 3 year old up and scared him. One of them had lost their key (and you can't just go to the front desk and get a new one with this set up) so she banged and banged and banged loud trying to get her roommate to awake. Someone came out of their room to shush her and she screamed at them. I get this is out of the control of the hotel, but just noting to set the vibe of the whole trip.
Today is Saturday still and right now we are going to drive the 2 hours home and go to a smaller Waterpark 45min from our house that's $8/day and our kid can at least jump in the pool. We are out the money but don't even care at this point. Will never return.

I've seen a lot of negative comments really for me the experience was very nice, all clean, lots of fun in the
Water park very nice places for many pictures and receiving the year there was great

There was graffiti in our room, something fuzzy in the sink and no one touched the carpet without something on their feet. They will tell you rooms have queen size beds, but they are fulls. The wait times at the park are hefty because they are understaffed or just inefficiently run. I would definitely choose to go somewhere else.

Booked this many months ago but they never stated that the indoor water park is closed, arcade area closed, many water slides are closed, practically a third of the entire park is closed yet I am charged full price. No discount offered. Credit only. Not a good solution when you live 400 miles away. Room is non smoking but someone definitely smoked in it. Overall, I agree with many reviewers, the hotels are not worth it. The park themselves are ok. So much is closed, cannot give an adequate evaluation. One thing for sure, don’t pay up front.

I would definitely NOT recommend staying here after our recent visit. We stayed with the 50% off deal thinking it would be okay accommodations. However, it was a bit of a drive to the building we stayed at and they don't necessarily make that well known as to how far away your building will be. Upon arrival we were disappointed by how sketchy the building looked but our rooms were decent so we stayed. The waterpark was alright but not a lot of indoor things to do. No food allowed in and the food is EXPENSIVE! Not a lot of seating either. The first night we stayed the fire alarms woke up all three of my kids at 11pm and went off for about 15 minutes - it turns out it was from people smoking weed, which happened to be a very common occurrence all weekend. As we left the hotel the next morning, my brother in law had to put out a fire that someone had started in a bucket outside of the door from a cigarette butt. The next night we ended up having to talk to cops because we heard what many thought was a gun shot in the parking lot behind our building. It turned out to be people shooting off firecrackers in the parking lot and hopping in a car to getaway. The crowd of people was definitely not respectful, many employees seemed annoyed when anyone asked for help and parking to and from the hotel was SO far from the main entrance. Also to get to the waterpark was quite a walk through the ENTIRE hotel and lobby and the outdoor waterpark was even further. If you have little kids I would definitely recommend a stroller, although then you have to wait in the elevator line. Overall, I would not consider this the most safe place to visit nor will we return. :(

Day 1 check in was super fast and easy . Service was great. Got to room was very clean. We asked for extra blankets and they came immediately with them. The building was very quiet and water park was super fun.

Worst experience ever. Among other small things wrong with our room….stains on the couch and bed……..We had a blood stain and huge clump of hair clearly visible on one of our beds, all they did was come change the sheets and when we called later to complain because we paid almost $700 for our kids birthday weekend to stay here we were told “what do you want we fixed the problem” my son was so appalled and weirded out he wouldn’t sleep in the bed and is sleeping in a chair sitting up. The fact that was even there makes it seem as if the rooms aren’t fully checked and cleaned and the fact that they were so dismissive about it, about blood in our bed which is so disgusting, no partial refund or move to a new room……horrible customer service.

I had not gone since 2011, so I thought, let me try this waterpark. Well, now I remember why I had not gone. The tickets were cheap(Parking is not ), but what you pay for is what you get. First - the parking fee - come on!!! Then limited hours in certain areas of the park or they were closed (indoor waterpark). The final straw was the inexcusable way my medication was treated. In one of the limited hours areas, my medication (1000 cost) in my medical bag was scooped up and thrown in a garbage bag of lost and found. I was given 2 different lost and found areas (and if you know this park, it is miles from one another) and finally after an hour of looking and angry verbal conversation, it was located in the original same place all locked up. So, after going through much clothing, towels, and bags, I found my medicine and just in time. So, after that, there was not ONE good thing to say about Mt. Olympus.

When you go make sure the indoor water park is open. When I made my reservation they were. When we got there ALL indoor water park and rides was closed and half the water slides in the outdoor park was closed.

Stayed on property to get in for free. Just be aware of the outrageous resort fee. The hotel experience will depend on which one you "get to" stay in; we saw up to 40 motels were bought up by them, so your experience will vary. (In fact, this is very telling that the owner makes his money off the hotel/motels and not the park...the park is designed to be super low maintenance and the rides/attractions themselves are in rough shape.)
Since we went in the end of the summer period, I think we got lucky and got a decent motel, (building 3, if I remember correctly) and while it was old and needed some maintenance, it did have easy parking (right outside our door!) and a fridge and microwave. If you're staying in the area, just consider doing one night at their motels to get your admission to the water park, and then moving to a nicer hotel that actually is worth the price.
For the park itself, Medusa's slidewheel was very cool to experience the first time! Very innovative! The cool factor decreases each time you go, but still something to experience. We did it first thing in the morning and there was no line. Then we moved outside and Zeus's family raft slides were a LOT of fun...some of the best I've been on.
But the coasters were a WHOLE other story. Hades 360 was so rough, that I thought I was going to have a lasting injury from it. Dropping into the pitch black tunnel was very neat, and I haven't seen it executed on such a level before, but my neck bouncing on my spine was so crazy. I have been on hundreds of coasters and LOVE rollercoasters, but this one was a "one and done". I don't know if I'll ever ride this again, just because of the intense forces it inflicted on me. I can imagine it was a wonderful coaster when it originally opened and when it was re-profiled, but the lack of maintenance and upkeep shows. Also, the fact they can't send trains unless completely full is hilarious... the operator asked anyone from our train that was getting off it they wanted to re-ride, so they could send the next train and NOBODY wanted to re-ride, because it was so rough. They have signs saying it is "running more intense today" but those are permanent signs... apparently intense = rough, per Mt. Olympus.
Zeus is fun, still a little rough but totally bearable, as well as the other wooden ones.
And the go carts, while nice that they were included, were kind of lame. Very old cars, and as everyone has already said, it was sad not being able to go up in the park icon, the trojan horse, at the front of the park.
The indoor "theme park" was closed when we went, so didn't get to experience that. Though from what've seen, we didn't miss much.
All in all, mostly go for the water park, avoid Hades unless you are super young/resilient, or really want to experience it (which was me), but beware you may regret it.

The water was freezing, my kids could not even enjoy it. It said the indoor ship was open inside online but it was in fact closed. The indoor amusement park was also closed. They charged 40.00 for parking.

I brought a group of newly graduated high school students to this resort for their senior class trip. (May31-June 2, 2021) Pros: The check in process with the QR code is easy and convenient. Housekeeping being about to text us when our rooms were ready is great as well. The manager on duty was very patient and worked with me to solve a problem with a credit card on file. Unbeknownst to me or the travel agent that worked with this company, half of the attractions were closed. CLOSED!!!! We had no knowledge that the indoor waterpark, indoor theme park or half of the outdoor waterpark would be closed. This resort was the entire reason of picking the Dells. If we had known the park was not going to fully functional we would not have spent these kids' hard earned money on this resort. The business practices of not telling your customers that the indoor parks were closed are wrong at best and even come close to fraud. When we also found out that the upper water park was closed, I couldn't believe it! This company should be ashamed to steal money from people when you are not upfront with the closure of your attractions.
This group of seniors lost so much due to the pandemic that this last disappointment felt that another punch to the gut. I hope this company is happy with the money they made while handing another disappointment to these kids. The rooms where fine but not fancy at all. I would not stay here again with a group or with my family, stay somewhere else in the Dells!

Where do I begin? The hotel room was not up to par with the resort. We were in building 24. If they are going to just buy hotels left and right, they need to be at the same standards. This building had the cheapest mattress ever (and squeaky), loud guests, and even more annoying, LOUD cleaning crew with loud walkie talkies going off at 11 pm at night right outside our door, we found dead roaches in the hallway, the bathroom ceiling and slip grips in the tub were extremely dirty and gross, water damage on the bottom of counters, the tile floor was disgusting. The main door had a gap all the way around which let in light and sound from the hallway, the blankets were very thin, and the handicap ramp was closed for 2 of our 3-day stay. Now the park: The Indoor theme park was closed for the summer (why?!) and it's on the other end from the entrance, you should have something at the main entrance that lets you know what is open and what is closed so you don't walk 3/4 of a mile to get there and find out. The main entrance needs to be redesigned. It's a STEEP hill down from the entrance to the first set of rides. I saw so many people with strollers, or wheelchairs struggling not to zoom down the hill, then extremely difficult for those same people to get back UP the steep hill to leave the park. The entrance really should be moved from being on one side of the park to a more central location.

We bought a day pass and didn’t stay in their hotel due to a lot of negative reviews. Parking was $40!!! and I feel that’s a ridiculous price for a parking fee! $10 or $15 would be reasonable but $40???!!! 😳
We still went because we drove all the way from Canada just so my son can enjoy and experience the WaterPark. He loved the rides and go karts. He enjoyed the wave pool too, the lazy River and the other kiddie slides… however, he complained that the water was very cold and I agree with him. I didn’t go swimming but dipped my feet in the water and it was cold.
It was a fun place but if you’ll consider visiting Mt. Olympus, have lots of 💵💵💵
They don’t allow outside foods so you have to buy their foods and it’s expensive too! For a bottle of water, it’s like $4+
I recommend it to others as it’s fun for the kids but for me to visit it again, NO.

This was our family's first trip to Wisconsin Dells and overall our experience at Mount Olympus was good. Our two older children (7 and 4) absolutely loved the waterpark and rides and we spent a good deal of our trip at the parks.
I feel the facilities are clean and well kept and the staff is friendly. We did reserve a cabana ($213) since we have a young nursing child and wanted to make sure he and mom were comfortable. Having a location outside of the Sun was great, but the cabana floor was very dirty from old spilled drinks and the chair and couch cushions were dirty under the towels used to cover them.

We left on a Sunday at 2pm, after my daughter got off work. We drove three hours and arrived shortly before 5pm. The online site said all the attractions closed at 7pm that day, so we expected to have a couple hours of play time after we arrived. The weather was cool - only 60 degrees and called for rain on both of the days we were staying there. We have been to Mt. Olympus multiple times in the past (pre-pandemic) and I knew there was a nice indoor water park, so I did not reschedule our trip and planned for the kids to just hang out in the indoor water park. After checking in, I was told everything closed at 5pm that day. I explained that the site showed it closed at 7pm. She said that they had the right to change things due to the weather, but that everything would be open again the next day at 10am. I thought the point of having an "indoor water park" was so that it didn't need to close due to the weather?? So now it's 5pm, and I have 4 teens with me and nothing for them to do. The next morning, the kids were all excited, we got ready, got to the water park about 10:15am... and the entire indoor water park was closed and under construction. No where on the site or when I was checking in, was I told about this. If I would have been, we would have left and gone to another water park in the area! They added on to the original indoor water park, and the only thing available was a pool, a toddler size splash pad, and the Medusa Spin Wheel... that's it! There was no where near enough seating either. My kids ended up going to the outside water park in the drizzling rain in 58 degree weather for something to do. They were all cold, crabby, and upset. My 2 daughter's had talked up how great Mt. Olympus was to their 2 friends that we brought with us, only for this to be a total disappointment. We could look thru the window and see the indoor water park that was closed down. Their friends looked thru the window and were like oh now that would have been cool. I could have gone to a hotel 15 mins from my house if I wanted just a room with just a pool, instead of driving 3 hours each way, especially with the price of gas right now. I reached out to their customer service and they only wanted to give me 20% off another stay. I want to be refunded for my stay or given another free night since we DEFINTELY did not get what we paid for! View the pics I took of their "indoor water park" and see for yourself.

The hotel was honestly pretty dirty. The room next to ours had roaches. Luckily there was no evidence of them being in ours. Someone dropped an egg on the ground in the lobby one night and it sat there well into the following afternoon. The waterpark was okay and the indoor amusement park was kind of lame according to my 9 year old daughter. The arcade was decent. Unfortunately the outdoor amusement park wasn't open during our stay.

First trip to Mt Olympus & we loved it!! My husband lost his wallet on a ride & thankfully, they found it when they walked the tracks the next morning & we got it back! 10/10 stars for that!!!
Lots of walking!! Wear good shoes, especially from the parking lot to the waterpark area.
The waterpark does a fantastic job of providing lots of chairs & loungers. Its quite spread out so that’s nice. My kids loved all the go-karts. The lines for the roller coasters & go-karts were fine, nothing crazy. The racing slides at the waterpark were the only ones I saw with 60 minute wait times.
No outside food or drink is allowed, which is fine, they have quite the variety of food to choose from. But it is expensive. A grilled chicken sandwich served with side of fries & a container of fresh fruit was over $20.
The only reason why I gave it 4/5 is only Medusa’s Wheel & a small pool are the only indoor waterpark things open & the indoor themepark was also closed. I wish that would’ve been stated better on the website. But what was open, was great!!!

Overall our experience was good. After reading all the previous reviews we were expecting the worst. We knew the accommodations weren’t going to be anything special but it served its purpose. I booked a themed room and was placed in building 4. We knew there wasn’t a coffee maker so we brought a kettle. It was located near the main waterpark entrance, which was good.
The park itself was clean, we got there at 10am and by 10:30 the kids had already banged off Icarus and Medusa along with a cpl other slides. We travelled with friends and booked a few cabanas which was convenient to serve as a home base for the kids to nap and eat
We wanted to cancel our last night stay because of the weather and we were credited the night which we could use at the gift shop which was nice of them, no hassle whatsoever, the staff I interacted with were all professional and helpful

Not worth the money! First we got there and couldn't find the check in lobby, come to find out it's about a mile or two down the road, secondly they put us in a room in building 10 which was another mile or two away from the actual resort. The ONLY good thing was when we contacted them because our room was nasty with gross smells, sticky floors and felt all around dirty they did upgrade us to a room in building one without any hassle - though it did cost us more. When we got to the second room it was okay at best, but definitely NOT worth what we ended up paying. We went to the theme park and the inside theme park was closed half of the I side water park was closed. While there we decided to switch hotels for our second night and we were informed they wouldn't refund us and instead would hold our money for 5 years for a future visit. At this point we no longer cared and just wanted our kids to have a good time. I don't recommend this location find a different hotel and hit up Noah's Ark water park it's 100 times better

First, you don't deliver what you offer. Upon check-in, I signed an agreement that smoking is prohibited in the rooms. However, my next-door neighbors in room 20618, Building #4, were smoking all night. I called the front desk, but they were not helpful. The people in room 20618, Building #4, were noisy until 2 AM. I had to intervene to keep them quiet.
My little daughter and wife were affected by the smoke and had sore throats. My room, 20617 in Building #4, was dirty with lots of hair in the bathroom, and the sheets were falling apart. Our check-out time was supposed to be June 30, but we checked out a day early because we couldn't endure the same issues as the night before. Your management is very irresponsible and didn't help at all.

My Olympus offered a wide range of activities for a timid 12 year old to a daring 16 year old. Water slides, wave pool, and a lazy river, along with amusements all included with the entrance fee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this venue for the entire family.

I should have read the other reviews! We booked 4 rooms which were suppose to be adjoining--but none of the rooms joined. Half of our group traveled 3 1/2 hours to get there, only to find that we had rooms in a mediocre 3-star hotel. Our room was dirty (stained lampshades & carpeting, hair in the tub, etc.) It looks like Mt Olympus bought most of the small (& old) "mom-and-pop" hotels throughout town. Yet all these hotels were to use just one waterpark. They were also selling day passes to non-hotel guests. As a result, the waterpark was practically shoulder-to-shoulder standing room only. It took us 15 minutes to find a place to put our things on the floor (all the tables were being used and small lockers were $15/day). We finally got to the kiddie pool, only to have another little toddler throw up next to our granddaughter. Many kids just kept playing in the floating puke! I brought this to the attention of one of the staff members and they just smiled at me like I was being a pain. No one seemed to care. Our entire group packed up and left without even using the waterpark. A very disappointing experience.

Their indoor waterpark is under construction for second season .... For our stay last year @ Labor Day weekend we choose Mt Olympus because of our kids. lts was cold and rainy at the time of the booking there was no info about closed indoor water park. l went back this year called them and was told same thing closed for construction.

OK, just what do you expect from a water park that also has roller coasters and go karts? The water slides were adequate although waiting time is very long making the best ones almost inaccessible, especially for the indoor "Medusa." Seems like the interval between tubers could be shortened to speed up the entire process without sacrificing safety. The Poseidon Rage is a unique attraction with a huge "tidal wave" released at intervals and the 'lazy river' is faster than other we've been on. Staff operating the different 'rides' seemed very lackadaisical and must be trained to go slow. Pretty standard water park in other ways. Only rode one roller coaster and it about beat us up. Go karts are governed to go slow. The food venues and locker storage are convenient and well kept. Lots and lots of reclining chairs for everyone and some great "kiddie" areas. Parking cost is a definite negative, a real rip-off.

This is false advertisement at its finest. Regret picking this one to stay at. Half the parks are closed, several of the rides in the theme park cost extra even though it says everything included. Very expensive for what you get. Not to mention the rooms are filthy. The staff at the desk have no clue what’s happening and simply answer with I don’t know. Very surprised it’s still in business. Definitely would not stay here ever again.

Buildings in the off site area are very sketchy looking.
I paid extra to "upgrade"to the main hotel. We still had to walk outside and thru parking lot to get to the indoor attractions. Only 2 go karts open and 2 coasters .
I noticed tonight that an additional $136 was charged to my card. I called front desk and was told they saw no charges and to just wait it out. Unacceptable answer.
I only used my card 2 other places onsite. One charge is accurate and the other for 16.00 doesn't show. Hmmm is that the mysterious $136????
This was definitely not worth the 290 I paid for 2 nights when I had to spend almost 200 more doing other activities in the area.

I will start off by saying I was so excited to bring my husband here because I have been to this exact resort 3 other times & loved it, but I can honestly say I will probably never stay again. Our hotel room was DIRTY, spider webs in the windows, dirt & mold in the corners of the bathroom, our feet got dirty from walking on the floors, we had a CONSTANT smell of marijuana in our room. There was so much noise coming from the hall & above our room that a goods night rest really was impossible. The beds & bedding were also very uncomfortable, thank god I had a $4 Walmart blanket in my car. We booked our room at 50% off but no where in the booking process did the website say that they were doing 50% off because they would only have 2 rides open at the theme park… this was a major disappointment as we really planned to spend hours there but instead had to find other things around the Dells to do. (You can get day passes to the theme park for $10 so the price of the room is outrageous when you factor that in & the condition of our room) The workers were not friendly either.. had a worker freak out because I wanted to wear my prescription glasses on a roller coaster. She stated it was on the sign that I could not wear my glasses, which simply isn’t true & the night before I was allowed to wear them..? We also asked a worker about the hours of the park for Saturday & she couldn’t tell us, which I found very odd. Overall our weekend getaway to the Dells was honestly a major disappointment simply because we chose Mt Olympus to stay at :/ you can definitely stay other places for cheaper & save money to do other stuff around the Dells that you have to pay for anyways since 85% of Mt Olympus is closed.

Mt. Olympus does a great job of advertising but unfortunately buyer be aware. I was really looking forward to staying but never again. Wilderness is much better.

I cannot even rate this hotel as a 1. Please do not stay at this waterpark/hotel. We received a full refund as part of the reservation process. I booked 2 rooms as part of a Christmas gift for my children. They advertised these amazing hotel rates and cannot accommodate everyone! When I booked the rooms, I paid for them using my credit card. I told the woman I would be purchasing the rooms using my credit card and I would not be coming along to the waterpark/hotel. The morning of the reservation, I received a text stating that I needed to bring my credit card and ID upon arrival. I immediately called the hotel to let them know that I wasn't coming with and that my family was already on their way to the hotel. The agent was very rude, stating that this information was in my receipt. I told her that I live two hours away! She didn't care. I asked about any kind of Credit Card Authorization policy that they might have. She said that THEY DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT! So, I got in my car and drove 2 hours to check my adult children and their families in!!
Apparently, there is a separate hotel to check in at and I had no idea where it was.
When I drove down the main street in WI Dells, it looks like Mt. Olympus has bought the majority of the hotels on the strip and put their label on them. So when you want to stay there, you have no idea what hotel you will be staying in. In any case, you have to drive a distance to get to the water park, and then try to find a parking spot within a mile. When I finally found the "check in" hotel, I walked in and it had a horrible odor. My granddaughter had to use the bathroom and when we walked into it, an employee was dumping some kind of dirty liquid in the sink. When I spoke with the manager about my situation, she didn't care. She stood there with a blank face. We booked adjoining rooms. When I asked if the rooms were adjoining, as in... a door opening between them, she said no. I said to the manager... "Gee I bet you get a lot of people in here who book rooms for someone else and have this confusion, don't you"? And she said yes, we do. Perhaps you might want to sit down with your employees as far as customer service. This manager was very rude. I spoke with two other families outside of the building who were having major reservation issues of other sorts as well! Mr. Laskaris, please look at some of these reviews and take this information back to the drawing board. If this continues, as a result, Wisconsin Dells will no longer be known for its attractions, just the disappoint with our families. After this frustrating two hour trip, not to mention the frustration with my family and their children, we asked for a refund. My family immediately booked a room at a very well known park in the Dells. When they checked in, they told them about the experience at Mt. Olympus. Immediately, they were given free arcade tokens, extra waterpark passes, and dinner. Now that is what I call customer service. Please think twic before you stay here. You will regret it.

AVOID! UNSAFE rides on roller coasters/ water slide!! After a VERY physically rough ride on Zeus roller coaster… Got stuck/locked in seat at end of ride and staff had no idea how resolve this. Majority of riders exiting the ride complained of how much their necks and back hurt vs commenting on how fun/ scary the experience was. I’m all for speed and G forces but if you just want to bash up your body- run your car into a concrete wall.
Parking $35, lockers #10, lines 1+ hours per water slide/ roller coaster even at end of season. Minimally/ inhospitably staffed, poor signage, lack of maps. Corralled by fences like a herd of cattle.
No available chairs to sit in, dirty, we are a physically fit couple and still sore a d bruised from our visit.

My son's cell phone dropped out of his pocket on the Hade the Roller coaster. He noticed it shortly after getting off the ride. Went back and asked one of the workers and they said they didn't find anything. We went to Lost and Found filled out a form and was told to check back before 6. We did...nothing turned in. We returned the following am and went again to the Lost and Found to check. Again, nothing was turned in. I emailed Mt Olympus Lost and found and had no response. I then also called and spoke with someone and told them about the situation; I requested a phone call again nothing. When we returned my son's credit card was used....phone was stolen...possibly a Mt. Olympus staff member.

Not enough space to list all complaints but we biggest complaint we caught 6 cockroaches in our room. No response from customer service after multiple attempts to call and had to drive to check in area TWICE to talk to manager that couldn’t help us. Never received free tickets for Halloween activities at check in like stated on website. Was supposed to be a family vacation but they ruined it with poor customer support and unclean facilities. Very disappointed and disgusted. Purchased 4 rooms and regret every penny spent.

Thank you for allowing our review. The “resort” was barely even that. Clearly the owner has bought all the old motels in the strip. The room was musty, dimly lit, mildew on the bathroom ceiling, the shower hardly drained and the tub was stained like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The floors within the room turned my kids socks and feet black from lack of properly being cleaned. The WiFi worked maybe 10% of the time. There was a slit under our door where light was coming in and on the second day we came back to very large ants with wings ALL over our room. My kids were terrified and wouldn’t get off their beds. We had to call security on the night of July 4th due extremely inconsiderate people shooting fireworks inches away from our windows, we could hear debris hitting the roof and cars in the parking lot. On July 5th after the ant incident we were moved rooms. The room was better however, due to the paper thin walls my entire family heard our neighbors “enjoying” themselves ALL NIGHT LONG. My Olympus is hardly a resort. The owner seems to have had to try to get too big too fast and the quality of this place is 2 star. He should have put more money into his business rather than build a mansion on an island on the lake nearby.
Finally, the indoor water and amusement parks being closed was never stated on the advertising of Mt Olympus. UNLESS, you see the extremely fine print on the campus map you get when you check in. You aren’t ever told that information before hand. When it rained there was nothing for our kids to do and had the indoor parks been open like we had assumed they would be then our kids could have enjoyed their day much more. My Olympus’s site is misleading and false advertises. I will not recommend Mt Olympus to anyone nor will we ever return.

over crowded, dirty pool, dirty hot tub , no supervision. people in water with bandages and open wounds how does management allow this to happen? please fix clean up your park ! thank you. hotel rooms very small .
will never be back again!

Came here for my birthday this weekend, and was so disappointed I will never be coming back here. When I arrived at my room for check in, there was full garbage bags outside of my hotel room. When we got inside of the water park, it was so packed, I couldn’t even move or enjoy myself without being hit by someone else. The water park was so over crowded, I was literally being pushed down by other people. I went to get a drink at the bar before 10 p.m. on my birthday night and I was informed they were closed. What bar closes before 10? I saw many other people just as upset as I was, wondering why we paid $400 a night for this? You are better off going to the wilderness or kalahari. I have come here many times before and it used to be a family favorite but I will sadly not be returning and will be going to a more professional hotel, for the same price. I really thought I was going to enjoy my birthday at mt Olympus, but I wish that I had just booked the Kalahari, like I originally wanted too. I will be making sure to let my family and friends know not to book this hotel if they actually want to enjoy themselves! I can’t believe I paid $400 for ONE NIGHT and it felt no different than a motel like pink flamingo, and just buying a day pass for the water park at mt Olympus. What a shame!

I didn't want to leave yet again another bad review but I wish I would have read them before our visit. We checked in last night at 4:15pm, was very disappointed that the indoor park was closed as we didn't see that on the web page till we click on details on your web page, then thought the kids would be able to enjoy swimming since your brochure lists extended hours for water park and they didn't even get to swim for an hour because it closed at 6pm. Half of the rides were closed and after being up all night due to people running the halls and banging on our door all night we left at 6am this morning, definitely not worth our money to come back and do it again.
(Let's not forget to mention the smell of Marijuana the minute you walk into the building)

Booking was very easy. Everything was explained simply on the website. I was a little scared of checking in on some people saying they booked and we're not aware they wouldn't be staying on property. I did scroll to the bottom of the booking page for a zero minute walk to the water park. Obviously… That means you are staying at the building that's attached to the water park. That's why we paid more. Having three small children that was the only option for us. Upon booking it does state how many minutes away you are from the main building. We stayed for one night in late February. Checking was easy. No one was even in line, even though that line was intimidating if it would've been full. Didn't like being haggled by timeshare people on the way out. I did pay extra for early check-in. On the website it stated we can use the water park at 10:30. It didn't state anything about not being able to check into our room until 2 o'clock… And that's considered the early check-in opposed to 4 o'clock. The website says nothing about that. No big deal. It should just say it. They texted us around 130 to tell us our room is ready. We get to the room and it is perfect. Spacious. The kids love the bunks! It was nice the bottom one was close to the floor for my little littlest. Rooms had laminate floors which were very nice and felt very clean. I'm sure it's a lot easier for the maid to clean up hardwood instead of carpet
We head over to the waterpark and it is ABSOLUTELY PACKED. Not one single chair or even a table. We had to put our stuff on the floor. There should be a separate section for people who are staying at the hotel. This brings me to my next point, I didn't realize that people from surrounding hotels could get water park passes for five dollars. This may sound good to the hotel, but it is not good for the people that are staying there. If Mt Olympus ever wants to become a wilderness, or a great wolf, they need to up the price of that or not allow it at all.. honestly, it makes it miserable for everyone staying at the hotel. I honestly felt bad for all the What are you being so bad for all the lifeguards, because they had to reprimand children constantly for going down the slide, headfirst, in groups of five, skipping all the other kids. Parents… Of course, nowhere in sight. We left to pick up some food and upon coming back, there was no parking spaces. I know Mount Olympus does have specified spots for peaceful staying at the hotel. But they should change that to go alongside the building and not in the first half closest to the water park. It should be alongside that building. Other than that. We had a great time. We woke up early Monday morning, went to the waterpark. There was about a 80% less people there. I know this was a weekday now. But it was a completely different experience. Medusa slide wheel was absolutely amazing! One thing about that was their adjust the minimum weight limit, depending on who is there. When we got there on Sunday the minimum weight was 331. But on Monday when it was less congested, they changed it to 225 or something like that. Not exactly fair. If you are a mother going there with her two children and you do not weigh 331. They forced us to ride with two strange men.. or, our alternative was to leave the line. we begrudgingly left the line. And I thought the rule was 331 and that was that, until I got there the next day and they took that sticker off and underneath was the lower weight limit.... hmm ??? Overall, we did have a great time. If they did these couple suggestions, it would make a much more pleasant experience for everyone staying in the hotel.. :)
1. Specify at time of booking early check-in is at 2 o'clock, not to 1030.
2. In order to become a more high end resort, stop selling water passes for five dollars each. It makes it miserable for anyone staying at the hotel.
3. have specified areas for hotel guests inside the waterpark to put their things.
4. Move some of the parking signs specified for guests to be along side the building by door 1E
5. Don't adjust minimum weight limit on medusa's slide wheel dependent on how many people are at the waterpark

The stay was great! Came with a service dog. Off site stay was within walking distance to the water park/indoor theme park. Area was great for walking the dog and 6yr old. The parks are always fun. And very affordable. Thank you for making our spring break a success!!

We were able to get our tickets online, which we felt was great. HOWEVER, when we arrived, there was a $25 parking fee. Holy Cow! We felt the parking fee was ridiculous. The park isn't all that great. Spend the extra and go across the street to the bigger better water park.

Minus the Summer heat and the crowds, this place is a great time. Lots of food, fun and rides for all ages. Prices were your normal theme park prices. Little more shade and seating along the walk way would be great though. It gets pretty hot out there and with crowds it could become unpleasant.

The worst hotel stay of my and my family's life!! No ventilation in the room. Therefore, bathroom was always "wet", moisture on the walls and floor made the bathroom hazardous to enter. Breeding ground for mold! We had to use the dirty towels as floor mats. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall so paying extra for a themed room was a waste of money. Towels had previous guests hair coiled in its thread. When we wanted to call to get clean towels we realized our room phone wasn't even connected. No dial tone and it had no power cord. We decided to use our own towels.
After returning from the Waterpark we had to lay out our clothes for them to get dry because the dryer on our floor was "out of order". Needless to say our clothes never became completely dry because of the constant moisture in the room. We didn't even have drawers to unpack our clothing which made it difficult to separate our dirty clothes from the clean during our stay.
The hallways always smelled like cigarettes and Marijuana. We felt like we were staying in the ghetto. I could go on and on with all the horrible details about our stay but I just want to forget that terrible time. I am NEVER staying at a Mt. Olympus "resort" again.

3/4 of the park wasn't open. When I called a couple days prior to get theme park and waterpark tickets, I asked about the indoor park and the theme park specifically. When we arrived, rode 3 roller coasters, drove 2 go carts, walked in 2 wading pools that were freezing cold. We then went to go in the indoor part, which apparently only includes one water slide at this time. We inquired at one of the quick food places (no real restaurant) and they informed me that there was nothing else until 2024. We saw everything in the park (payed way too much for entry and parking) in 3 hours and left. Not enough seating definitely and was not enjoyable. Probably a good value if your tickets are included with hotel but I would recommend staying somewhere with a real indoor waterpark and an outdoor pool for the best value!

I did not feel like the owner of Mt Olympus cares what anyone thinks about his motels, etc. Actually felt like a sucker. We stayed at one of the Mt Olympus buildings directly across from the park over Labor Day Weekend 2021. $180 per night. A fair price for what we got would be like $45. Two night stay. Building 30. We were brave enough to go on Haydes 360, but not brave enough to put our bare feet in the shower due to the filthy looking old non-slip bathtub strips. The shower head looked 20 years old. The bathroom door on the inside was still the raw wood look door from the 50"s or 60"s (maybe earlier). Anyway it looked like someone's crack pipe exploded and burned the door. I guess they can't afford to repaint a door , replace a shower head and replace tub strips? Wallpaper peeling in a few areas. Two dead bugs on the wall. Big dirt area on the ceiling. Part of the baseboard that separates the sink vanity and the =little fridge area looked kicked in and crumbling. The carpet was some old brown stuff and had a little dried food on it. It did not feel clean on bare feet so I avoided being barefoot as much as possible. No coffee maker. How cheap can you be? Had to go elsewhere to get coffee.
Mt Olympus....you have the money for these small changes! Give people what they pay for!
I say avoid, avoid, avoid. Until the owner of these crap motels wises up he's eventually going down. Might be a good thing!

Way better then previous reviews led me to expect. Made sure we upgraded-for $39 for 2 nights-to main hotel bldg 1.
Rooms were nice and big. only problem was with our daughters room mattresses were really bad-felt like broken springs they were supposed to come change out mattress but never did. Kids had fun at indoor water park-not very big but not crowded. And indoor theme park and mini golf- 4or 5 small rides and bumber carswere great-and no lines!!Outside 2 rollercoaster and go carts still going. For the low off season price had a lot of fun.

The last couple hours of our stay were disappointing at every turn! Only 1 tiny track our son could do go karts on and only 2 cars were running. Roller coaster for youngest son was not available. Funnel cake and ice cream stand didnt have funnel cakes OR ice cream! Gift shop at the exit watches us shop then said they’d already closed down the register so we couldn’t purchase anything at 7:54 (park closed at 8:00). It was very disappointing and will not be my park of choice on any return visits to Wisconsin Dells.

Had a hood time. Spent a couple days here. Lines short. Staff can be rude at times. Saturday its so crowded cant move.

Great experience combining water fun with rides. Clean and friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Perfect for a day with the family of varied interest in thrill rides.

Will never go to Mount Olympus again. I thought I was getting a steal but really, they were stilling from me. As soon as you walk into the arcade it smells like pee. Once you walk through its dirty. I literally gaged because of how filthy the elevator was. Just bringing it up makes me gag. When you go into the park its smells like Chlorine and it gives you a migraine. The room was decent atleast. It was like I basically paid alot of money for a hotel room. The hotel was nasty too and I was scared to go in the room. I was quickly relieved at least. Not worth the money. I wish I wouldve went to Kalahari and paid the extra money

First of all, the price! The price of the room should include the indoor and outdoor activities. Mine did not! I was charged an extra $107.00 as an attraction fee, Why? I used to love staying here. What's up with all these buildings, and needing to drive out of your way to pay and get your keys from a whole different place, talk about inconvenant! Also, we had people that were not staying at our building parking in the spaces of the ones who were staying here, including my own! My sister did call to make a complaint but was ignored. The bathroom has no ventilation, and very little hot water. Also NO coffee pot. Out in the outdoor swimming area there were Many women wearing bathing suit tops that barely covered their nipples! REALLY, in Front of multiple children!! The room was decent, but small for the price. I will NOT recommend to family or friends.

This has been the WORST trip I've ever taken with my kids. The pool was EXTREMELY overcrowded. The life guards are damn near no where to be seen. They food is extremely over priced and i will never take my kids back here.
The simple fact they allow for that many people to be in the pool area is outrageous. I understand that they CAN fill the pool that full, it does not mean they SHOULD. They should have a limit of how many people are allowed for safety reasons. I watched a child, get trapped between a pole and the water current and get trapped under water on one of the children's slides. And no life guard was there to assist the child. The parent ended up realizing it longer than she should have, and rescued the child. But the amount of stress this trip causes my family and I was not worth it.
The rooms are NOT nice unless you pay for the bunk rooms. They smell like cheap cigarettes and weed. You can smell the couch the minute you walk into the room. For the amount we were required to pay, I will NEVER recommend staying here again. They need to fix their facility and rules. It's just a dangerous environment and im surprised someone hasn't died from it yet.

Food, drinks, and snacks overpriced as usual for these places. No recycling of anything there. The water slides has a good amount and choices. The wave pool was a big wave that knocks you over. I preferred the two wave pools at Noah’s Ark. I saw elderly people struggling with all the steep hills they have. If you aren’t in good shape the hills are going to be a challenge.

This was a horrible experience! The “resort rooms” is a small motel room that they bought out that you have to drive or walk 1-2 miles to get to the attractions. The website says the indoor water park is open year around but doesn’t say it’s the new “expansion” of it only. The indoor theme park is closed half of the year which sucks when you have little kids and it’s raining. The outdoor water is freezing cold, my kids couldn’t even walk through it. It’s like going into a lake in October.

This place has lots of accidents it has a great wave pool ... It's cleanish... Staff is poorly trained many of the rides were shut down.... The rooms are poorly maintained especially in the outlying buildings... Restaurants are clean...... They have some great rides maintenance is an issue

20 years ago or so my parents took us here when it was treasure island. I wanted to bring my husband and daughter back. The toilet in our room was leaking (from the ring, gross sewer) there was mold all along the mini fridge, the floor in our room was sticky. The sheets (thank God) were the only clean thing. (I always bring my own cleaning stuff to hotels, so I disinfected EVERYTHING) We were 6 plus hours from home or we would have left immediately. It was dirt cheap so we just said we learned our lesson. We went to the water park only to find out the outside was closed for “weather”- but it was beautiful out. The bathrooms were not clean, the indoor areas were dirty, and overcrowded. The water was so cold my 2 year old didn’t want to even get in the water. It was so crowded. We ended up going to do things around town. I was disappointed to see that Mt. Olympus had overtaken the entire “strip”. All other mom and pop hotels were gone. There was no nostalgia to be found. Save your money for a nicer hotel, and other activities.

The room was so gross 🤮 the bathrooms was smelling. The checking building was very complicated to found it . The checking line was joke . I feel like I was went to DMV department. Our whole family feels very uncomfortable and ruined our vacation time. We like to switch to different hotel . They won’t have you refund only credit to use in 5 years . This business only want to one time business they don’t care about their reputation and customers voice.

We just came for a family vacation over spring break. We ended up staying in the 16b building which was a nightmare the whole weekend the building smelled strongly of marijuana at one point it was so bad our room even stunk from it. Their are people running around and slamming doors all hours of the night. The parking lot has people all over the place parking every which way. On the positive side we did enjoy the water & theme park very family friendly with a lot to do. I will not recommend anyone stay at a Mt. Olympus building definitely not worth the money spent if we come back we will be staying elsewhere.

We read all of the poor reviews, so we set our expectations rock-bottom, and because of that we ended up okay. The place is tough, the go-karts are slow and boring and some barely work, the tubes are underinflated, a lot of the good attractions are closed, and the whole place is dirty.
Also, parking is $25, and there is a $5 fee for every ticket you buy online. So they are finding a way to squeeze money out of you, even with the cheap ticket prices.
But - if it's a nice day and you have young kids, you can entertain them for half a day at the water park for under $100. If you set your expectations low and accept that you get what you pay for - it's not so bad.

Oof do not recommend. We were excited to ride all the roller coasters and started with hades 360 because everyone says it’s the best but after the first drop things went downhill metaphorically. The speed is fine but in the tunnels it is so bumpy it felt like being awake for your own surgery with no painkillers it was so painful. You go 70mph over the least maintained part of the track. All my friends either had bad pain in their neck or back and it ruined the rest of the day for us. If you want to feel like Vecna is breaking your bones one by one then ride hades 360.

Love the parks. The food was expensive.A bottle of water costs $3.75. They had water slide ads different ride. Not enough kids rides.

I'll start out with the biggest secret about Mt Olympus. It's not on their website, not in the FAQs, and even Google cannot seem to find information that is less than 6 years old. If you aren't staying at the resort, PARKING IS $40.00 PER CAR.
Hades 360 is a must ride. In the dark, under the parking lot followed by an inversion is insane. Then back under the lot to the station, fast the entire way. It is dark for nearly 8 seconds each way, not space mountain dark, but PITCH BLACK cannot see a hand in front of your face dark.
After that we had to take a break so did some go carts. They really need to put some fans in the go kart barns, the fumes are horrible. The carts are not too fast, even keeping the pedal to the floor you couldn't lose traction around a corner. But still fun to race.
Zeus is a good out and back roller coaster, fairly timid but fun, and the least rough.
Cyclops is like being in a fight with Deadpool and Wolverine, and they are both killing you at the same time and and you're coming back to life for another hit...over...and over...and over...
Pegasus coaster was smallest of the bunch, almost a junior coaster, but quite rough. Gets young riders accustomed to being abused by the other coasters here.
Sun and mid 80s felt hot so we moved to the Waterpark area, got a locker for $15 that held our shoes and phones.
The line for the highest slide was more than and hour, as was the line for the rotating slide, so we opted for the more "normal" slides and had about 10 minute waits. We did a couple laps on the river of Troy, which is by no means "lazy" it moved fairly fast. No waterfalls or features to get you wet while floating in a tube so you either have to dunk yourself or stop at the loading area to get sprayed.
The 2 wave pools are different. The first we tried had a huge wave every 2 minutes. Was fun until someone inadvertently kicks you in the head because it was crowded and you have no control when the wave hits.
The second wave pool is an older wave action pool and filled with tubes, where you just kind of bob up and down. Not enough power in the waves to move the tube. Just bob.
Food and drinks were expensive, as theme parks are.
Having done all we wanted to do, we ended up leaving after about 4 hours.

I seen someone who was 6’2 300 pounds on the mini swing without a kid but my brother and I tried to go on and the worker wouldn’t allow us. Even though I am 5’2 115 and he is 6 foot and only 170 pounds. We couldn’t go with or without each other.

Horrible, rude, complete waste of money. Front desk lying about what is open. Room outdated, people smoking cigarettes. People renovating at 630 am waking whole floor. The water park was packed with no where to sit. Asked for refund got attitude. Plan of having entire family putting up review. Want money back. Very bad place

Dirty lobby and elevator. There were no luggage carts and no staff to ask for help. When we called customer service we got hung up on 13 times and transfered several more and finally after an almost 2 hour wait for help to get in or to get cart. It was 2 an by that point. We paid an upgrade fee for first floor to accommodate due to a disabled person and was promised first floor, we go to check in and was given 3rd floor. There was no coffee pot, our room was filthy dirty, extremely rude customer service reps and staff all over. We were woken up at 3 am just after getting settled by a staff handing out TV remotes going door to door , which we never requested. Finally the next day after an hour of talking 2- 3 different managers, whom of which were no help and literally were talking over us and making stuff up and not listening to what we were saying we finally got refunded and a half hearted apology. We left and booked at ChulaVista, which was a 5 star resort compared to Mt Olympus and a portion of the price. We spent $600 at Mt Olympus for 2 nights and what we got was horrible! We would NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

We came with a 2 year-old and a 4 year-old and had a great time. I feel like if you are headed there in the summer, when you should be experiencing water parks outdoors anyways, you can't beat this price! We camped at Rocky Arbor, and then spent the day at Mt. Olympus & Theme Park. If you're traveling with toddlers, I recommend getting there at 10 am when they open, and then immediately cut through the wave pool area (Poseidon's Rage) to the right, just after entry and head straight to The Great Pool of Delphi. Toddler Oasis! Get yourself a margarita at Zorba's Bar & Grill and Family Fries. Toddlers can ride the Kiddie Train, Kiddie Swing with an adult, Kiddie Bi-Plane, and Balloon Ride. We experienced no lines on a beautiful, warm day in June.

Amazing family trip fun trip for everyone loved all the family fun activities and water park activities the lazy river is my favorite the Medusa is my husband and kids favorite my grandson loves the ride’s very kid friendly indoor amusement park

We have been going to Mt. Olympus every year for over a decade. Basically my kids have grown uo there. Hands down it is always the best experience. We have gone in all the different seasons of the year and have not been bored or disappointed at all. I have even suggested to friends how great it is and they have gone with great experiences. Thank you Mt. Olympus for all the family memories!

Total waste of money this year!! We have come to Mount Olympus numerous times and the last couple times have been mediocre at best. Last time our room was crappy & had security banging on stuff all night and standing outside our room talking on the phone.
This year there were dirty towels left in our room, all indoor water park stuff was shut down & all the upper water park is shut down. NO WHERE does it say on the website or when making reservations does it say 1/2 the water rides are shut down. Rained one day & we waited for it to stop…ride attendants then told us they were closing the park even though the rain stopped & sun was coming out. The majority left the park due to staff saying they were closing, 20 minutes later driving by they opened back up some rides. REALLY?!?!?!
Such limited water stuff we ended up buying tickets to go to a different water park instead & HAD A BLAST AT NOAH’S ARK. Next time we will avoid Mount Olympus. It seems like they are more interested in expanding the # of rooms versus actually caring about the customers & making sure what they already have is clean & running so their customers can use it. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY AT THIS TIME!!

When booking the hotel and water park, we told them we were coming by train. Put us in a hotel too far. Changes room the. 2nd floor motel no elevator.

Have been going here for a couple decades and it was fun with some issues.
Pros
Went on T & W (June 2023) so lines not more than 30 minutes on Medusa & less on outdoor slides. Awesome outdoor waterslides if you get lucky with weather.
Parking with room on both days since parking w/o hotel is $30 and ridiculous!!
Find the water fountains (usually near bathrooms and one by P. Rage), cold water! Since they don't even list price of drinks at the bar huts can't imagine what they cost.
Satellite hotel rooms sufficient for an overnight (building 7). Had 4 kids 12-16, didn't spend much time or even use the shower (very small bathroom) but no complaints.
Kids had a blast on the roller coasters.
Cons
With new check in location there is no personnel in Hotel Rome. The bartender couldn't tell me where lost and found was. I left key in room and had to drive a couple miles to get a new key.
New things may be coming but indoor amusement park totally closed down and old indoor waterpark can be seen, not torn down yet but not operable. Only thing indoors is new slide which could have long wait on weekends and large family area pool. Our first day there it rained, we paid $190 to play indoor at Kalahari since too cold for outdoor slides and nothing to do indoors. Went on Medusa night one with rain but no other indoor waterslides. Day two we had beautiful weather but room was $170 and should have indoor options also.
There used to be 3-4 slides on back hill which have been removed, nothing in its place but less outdoor water rides.
Lost and Found not well marked, staff doesn't know where it is after asking 5 or more people. A joke since 30 minutes after leaving item at closed indoor waterpark it was nowhere to be found. Assume someone else has it now but if it went to L & F it would have been there right after closing.
I never eat at the park, we go to car for snacks or out for meal. A cheese pizza was $27 and $31 for one topping.....wonder how it tastes?
I will spend more next time to get a place with kitchen (Wilderness), went to Paul Bunyan's for breakfast - NOT worth it! $100 before tip, $20 for 12 y/o that ate mostly pancakes and adult who didn't eat $20 worth of breakfast food either, IHOP across the street.

Got a great deal on daily tickets and went on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. It wasn't too crowded and we all had a wonderful time! All the rides were up and the slides and wave pool were fun.

It took a bit of research but this was a good water/theme park. Non hotel guests enter at the theme park end. Tickets can be found quite cheap, but you have to pay a lot for parking and a locker. The locker system was slick though. The longest lines were after lunch until mid afternoon. The Medusa wheel was worth the wait, but the lazy river was too fast and stressful. The inner tube system is not explained at all. Staff were friendly but hardly any spoke English and didn't seem to know what was going on. No outside food and drink, but most people snuck stuff in. Hilly terrain and lots of walking. Doable in one day but it'll be a long one depending on the rides and slides you want. Nice there is a relaxing and cold pool of Delphi for a break.

Hotel:
We stayed at hotel#39. When the website said 2-5 minutes from water park- I didn’t realize it was driving time. Thought it meant walking! It’s far from the hotel and you will need to drive there. It’s a hassle for us with two kids. After the park, you just want to be able to walk to your room not drive. Room was old and needs cleaning. There were stuff on the floor that needed vacuuming. The air was stuffy and humid. It felt like a shady motel for us.
Water park:
Expect long lines for the attractions like the slides and rides. Wave pool was a hit with my kids. I loved the lazy River but it was hard to get a floaty. People like to hog it even when they don’t use it.
The service: I do appreciate the staff at the park and hotels. They do the best they can and I can say they need to get paid more for what they do.

Lower pricing lodging sucked super noisy all night long in hotel need more stuff for middle age kids not just 12 and under and cleaning in rooms bad

The theme park was nice and has lots of go carts and several roller coaster rides as well as kidding rides. The water park was very big with alot of things to do and the Medusa water slide was really neat, the wave pool was the biggest waves I've ever experienced the kids spent hoirs in there- seemed to be no maximum amount of people. and there were alot of people in the whole water park, I would say go early. The parking fees cost $35 which is the most I've ever paid to park lol.

Make sure you pay close attention to where the room you are reserving is located. At the theme park there were a lot of unsupervised unruly kids. I asked them not to kick the pool soccer balls over the wall as myself and other adults were sitting there, of course a soccer ball goes whizzing by almost hitting me. All of a sudden 5 angry ghetto ‘mothers’ appear out of nowhere harassing us! Thankfully the manager showed up and kicked these disgraceful people out of the place and handled the situation very well.

Everything was as expected for my stay at the hotel. The problem was getting my son’s baby blanket that was left in our room by mistake. First off they don’t have a normal lost and found like normal hotels. I first went to building one which we stayed in on a Saturday and checked out on a Sunday. The lady at the store informed me that I would have to go to the main building on the frontage road at least
5-10min away from building one. Then comes the next issue. The language barrier. Just assisting me with needed information to fill it a form online for my lost baby blanket. I’m not sure they understand the seriousness of a child’s baby blanket. I also don’t live in Wisconsin Dells so I had to travel from Madison to basically wait for a call or email about my lost item. I couldn’t speak with a manager to speed the process up so I don’t have to wait for nothing or go home and have to drive right back. A child’s baby blanket can be a parents saving grace and without it a child could go into meltdown mode. Then a soda machine took the $3.75 off of my card but the machine in between building one and two didn’t not dispense the water I really needed after all of the running around. Who am supposed to talk to about that? The supposed concierge at the main building couldn’t understand what I was saying. So there’s more wasted time and money and all I need is a simple baby blanket that could have stayed in or near the building I stayed. I know for a fact we are not the only family to accidentally leave something behind.

Medusa was the favorite ride for our group. The wait was not terrible, but other than the pool/splash area, nothing else was open at the indoor park. The waits were not terrible outside either; the most we waited was an hour for the “bigger” slides. Great value since it as included with our stay. Easy walk back & forth; we went back to the room for lunch.

I certainly wish I would have read the reviews of this resort BEFORE ever wasting my money on it! We booked a room for 6 occupants for 2 nights. We drove 5 hours one way to get there. When checking in, there is a long counter with at least 15 computers for employees to check guests in. There were a total of 5 employees checking guests in at that time. After registering and getting our room keys, there is another counter by the exit doors with 3 people trying to sell you even more "deals." I'm SO glad we didn't fall for any of these so-called deals they were trying to sell! I had booked the hotel stay on your website which reads "Book Now - Pay Now" this way you only pay half-price of $124.99 per day for a total of $249.98. I did just that. Booked right then and chose the "PAY NOW" option. I was immediately charged the FULL price on my credit card of $437.72. Our room was dirty, the beds uncomfortable. As I stated, I booked the room with 6 guests staying in it. There were 4 bath towels, 4 wash clothes, NO hand towels, no Kleenex, 2 shampoos and 2 soaps, no towel for the floor when you get out of the shower. We call the front desk twice about the lack of towels. The first call, we were told they would send some right up. When they didn't arrive after 30 minutes, we called again and were told due to COVID, they don't bring you extra anything while you are occupying the room. If that's truly the case, then why were there NOT enough towels and wash cloths provided BEFORE we occupied the room?! The whole inside of the hotel smelled. If it didn't just smell dirty, then it smelled from other guests smoking pot in the rooms as well as in their cars in the parking lot. The housekeeping staff is very unfriendly and not trained in the hospitality business whatsoever! We were waiting for the elevator for quite a while. When the doors finally opened, there was a housekeeping staff member inside who rolled her eyes and pushed the button to close the doors. The last horrible experience was the power going out at approximately 4:30 a.m. for about an hour. With no power you are stuck in your room because your keys won't work with no power. When we called the front desk, the female who answered the phone was very rude and said, "We know and we're working on it," and basically hung up on me. ALL of your employees need to go through some kind of or more training in hospitality because it's obvious they are just there for a paycheck. Not everyone in the whole building needs to listen to their walkie-talkies either at all times of the day and night. I didn't see or hear one of your employees throughout our stay that actually spoke or bothered to look at any of the guests. I read many of the reviews, all be it, much too late. It's sad that you offer such below standards accommodations at your 30 building resort, have a NO REFUNDS policy, charge full price when you advertise a deal of "Book Now Pay Now" for a half the cost ad and then charge the FULL price knowing what are people going to do? They're not getting a refund if they don't like the bait and switch that was just pulled on them. Your company should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau for your shady pricing practices. I would not recommend Mt. Olympus Resorts to ANYONE planning to come to the area. I would advise them to stay ANYWHERE but in your resort hotels. We didn't have to ride the Hades 360 to truly go to hell and back. We all experienced this by staying in building #10 of your "resort." Too bad your company doesn't have a person dedicated to making a personal phone call to all of the disappointed guests instead of your standardized responses I have read in your reviews. No one is getting their money back for the terrible waste of time from booking with your resort. I hope everyone reads reviews on this website BEFORE they decide to throw their money away on it and adding to your bottom line profits.

We stayed at another resort but spent a day at Mt. Olympus and boy, was it fun!
Cons:
- indoor waterpark is fairly small
- no deep pool for full-swimming outside.
Pros:
- Outdoor waterpark is fantastic.
- Medusa rotating waterslide- our favourite! So much fun!
- We rented a cabana and it was so worth it. Lovely experience and great way to have a nice spot to relax between rides.
- Clean
- Tons to do! The theme park had A LOT of rides. We only did the Zeus rollercoaster (omg, not for the faint of heart and it was super intense- maybe a little too intense!) and the Trojan go-karts which were a blast.
- Lots of food options
- While it got packed, nothing ever felt overwhelming or crowded. They do a good job of spacing things out and giving everyone plenty of room to enjoy everything here.
Tips:
- Do rent a cabana if you want to spend the day there. We got one by the Delphi pool and while it was on the opposite side of the waterpark and resulted in a lot of trekking, it was really a nice spot and made the day feel special.
- Be prepared for lots of walking. I hit about 17,000 steps that day. This is a good thing if you enjoy staying active on vacation, but also a head's up if you aren't a walker or have mobility issues.
- Get there early. We were one of the first five families through the door at 10 and it was so nice to get started on the day without big lineups. By mid-day it was packed, so being there at 9:30/45 to get in through the gates was worth it imho.
- They don't allow outside food/water, and they check at the gate.

Old school wooden roller coasters and lots of go kart tracks to pick from. Go karts are all the same just different types of tracks. Coasters are worth the short waits. We went in the middle of the week so it was not real busy. Water park is average if not a bit dated. The newest Medusa rotating slide is an absolute blast. Do not miss it, the wait is not as long as it seems. Average food and bathrooms were fairly clean. For $25 fee to get in I would recommend it.

The good: Our room was clean. The a/c worked great. The water and theme park are both a blast. Icarus was a rush! Medusa is laugh out loud fun. And I love that our wristbands served also as room keys. You never have to fish in your pocket for a keycard. It’s always right there.
The not so good: A sign in our room says staff “will not enter your room” during your stay. Okay, we figured, we can live without maid service for a 2-night stay. Only, someone DID enter our room. And left a pile of towels, new sheets and blankets folded up in a stack ON TOP OF our existing, unmade sheets and blankets.
Why would you enter our room just to dump off new linens?
There are no “do not disturb” signs at all. The chain lock on our door was busted. And now someone is coming in our room, but not cleaning or servicing the room at all. Very odd and disconcerting.

We stayed in Building 10, an off-site location that looks like a remodeled apartment building. Doors to outside don’t actually lock, so don’t worry about getting your key card out to get inside. Inside, was dark and looked almost abandoned. Lots of areas closed off, no front desk, and the two employees I did see were surely a figment of my imagination.
Inside the hotel room was nice at first glance, but there’s no coffee pot, no comforters (you get thin sheets to sleep with), headboards are painted on the walls, and no dressers to unpack your things into. Don’t bother calling to request a coffee pot, they only give those to higher end rooms.
Also for some reason there’s a party going on a couple doors down and no one seems to care?? Not as in a birthday party for a child, but an honest to god frat party. Running out to my car, the hallway smells like weed and there’s music blasting, and people running up and down the hall.
Moving on to the water park~~
The indoor water park so cold my son was visibly shivering. My daughter decided to hop out of the tube after getting off the slide and immediately got swept up in the current. I had to haul ass to get her before she went under while the lifeguard merely held out her flotation device. Although she did help me get her out of the water (which I’m thankful for) she immediately left after that.
I come to The Dells every year for vacation...but most definitely wouldn’t come back to Mount Olympus. Officially marking it off my list.

Went over the weekend and the kids had a blast riding the medussa spinning wheel. Planning another getaway for the summer.

AMAZING! but can you guys change the time more later in the summer like around 9 pm, and food was expensive and not really good, need to improve on that on god. again I went in aug sorry for writing this late.

By far, one of the worst experiences I’ve experienced in my entire life. They respond back acting like they give a damn when honestly they don’t. They know this is an ongoing thing here i am sure. A lot of drunks and imbeciles adults and teenagers running up and down the hallway. No one is there to protect or regulate the situation unless you call law enforcement. I can see why the main check in wasn’t near the hotel because they would have a lot of complaints and probably have to refund a lot of people. The smell of marijuana runs through the entire hotel. My family and I left within 3 hours of being there. They can keep the money. They need it more than I do.

Horrible! The room was okay! Over half of the water park was closed. The theme park was packed and people were smoking pot! I was not informed that water park and theme park over half of it was closed. There was no staff except the cleaners. The building was never locked.

We went there on the first day of Sep, if you don't stay in their resort, you need to pay $35 parking fee which is more expensive than the them park ticket. I think the parking fee is too expensive. Sep 1st is not a public holiday, so should be less busy than weekends, but we still need to wait for at least 45 minutes for one of the water slides that using big tube. We tried out all the waterslides, and all the roller coasters, the roller coasters didn't have good protection for your head and neck, even the one rotate/twist 360 degree, it didn't have a head and neck protector, your neck may feel pain after riding on their roller coaster, it has a potential to hurt your neck, be careful. There is not much to play in the outdoor theme park, it's either roller coasters or go-kart, some go-kart route is very bumpy, and my right upper leg is hurt because I need to press very hard to the petal to move the go-kart. For the water park, they didn't provide towels for you, you have to bring your own. The water in the outdoor park is icy cold even with sunshine, so it will be even more cold if on a cloudy day.

It started off… Check in was basic with VERY little information provided. All the rooms are spread amongst a MILE along the main road. It’s not one big property. The room is very out dated. Painted on bed frames, weird smell in the hallway, door practically made out of 1-2 in plywood, and overall didn’t feel very safe! The waterpark was PACKED and I mean PACKED, over crowded. The lines for basically every single slide were over 1 1/2 mid day. Wave pools left very little room to move and play. There were no seats available and to get towels you had to walk across the whole park! Overall it was very disappointing and not what we had hoped for.

We reserved a month ahead and asked to be in the same motel. We get there and they have us all in different motels. We are three families wanting to be together. The manager puts us in a motel the farthest away possible. We have one person in a wheelchair and the room is all the way around from the front entrance. Wheelchair has a horrible time getting in the bathroom and got stuck once. Room doors won't open and we all had to have maintenance repair our doors. We were told the motels had a pool and hot tub and that was a lie. The cost to stay here was outrageous/crap for what you pay.

Mt Olympus had a 2 day special going for $69 a night back in January, and now I know why. The rooms are less than average and they put our 5 families in 3 different buildings. We tried to get closer together, but all they could do was 2 separate places. You have to drive your car to the water park. Which the Water Park is fun but small and low budget. It was fine because the weather wasn't to bad late February and we did have a pool in our building #39, so we could enjoy that later on into the evening. That pool didn't open until 11:00 am. The Water Park in the different Location opens at 10:00am.
towels were free, lazy river, water slides, hot tubs, kiddie pools, lots of slides
they did have concessions with snacks and drinks (alcohol too).
they have lockers to store your things, cc needed to use.

So for one the rooms Me and my family stayed in was not connected to the actual water park. I had to drive 2 miles up the road to get there. Only to find out the indoor water park is closed. They do not tell you any of this ahead of time as well. The 2nd day it rained for half the morning if we weren't by the indoor pool I probably would have had a mutiny on my hands. But the worse part is the mountain of an exit they have. After climbing stairs walking back and forth through that entire park and at the end of the day I have to climb a mountain to exit😐. It was ok but we definitely will not return.

I was very pleased with the front desk and housekeeping staff for making sure every need was met. My room was walking distance from to Noah’sArk and surrounding attractions, restuarants and shops. My family had a vlast and was able to unwine and relax.

My family chose Mount Olympus for a day of fun on our family vacation to Wisconsin Dells. One of my children wanted to ride go-carts and I was interested in the large wave pool I had seen reviews about on YouTube.
First, there were five different go-cart areas. All had the same go-carts. I would not recommend this park for the simple fact that about half of the people riding the go-carts cannot stop in time and wind up smashing into the back of other people in go-carts. The park says that drivers are responsible if they hit and injure others, but I did not see where the park was holding anyone accountable or doing anything about it when drivers rammed right into other go-cart riders. I felt unsafe and could not wait to get done with my go-cart ride because a kid rammed right into me. There is no padding around the cars. It is metal in contact with metal.
Second, I could not wait to try the large wave pool at Mount Olympus. To my surprise, I did not like this wave pool. The wave pushed me over so fiercely that I was afraid I was going to hit heads with others. I could not stand up on two feet. I felt a total loss of control. The water is cold, even on the 80 degree day.
My kids did enjoy the roller coasters, but Hades was closed when we first got there, then opened later on. Staff was working on the tracks when we got there.
We did find a table with shade and enjoyed a nice break.

Our first visit to Mt Olympus was a success! Our kids had so much fun and there was a great variety of attractions for younger children to enjoy. The only negative we can think of is check in was very confusing. We stayed at Hotel Rome and did not pay attention to the address for checking in. We drove to Hotel Rome only to find out we had to drive to an entirely different/obscure location. We wasted @ 30 minutes trying to find where to check in. All in all we feel the money spent was a good value. Thank you for an enjoyable family experience!

Although a cloudy n overcast day, we made the best of it. Water was a little chilly, but meant less people. We had gotten free outdoor Waterpark passes and decided to then rent a cabana - about $100. Made for a great hang spot throughout the day. Enjoyed some snacks and plenty of water

Also horrible. i left a review on the hotel itself being horrible. we first went to the indoor water park because it was 8:00pm and everything outdoor was closed. we walked in and it was packed. the floor was disgusting with mystery substances all over the floor *for instance someone’s wig and bikini bottom were on the floor the entire time just sitting there*, people meandering around aimlessly, and no place to sit or put our stuff down. the water was also disgusting inside. the next day we went back because we thought the outdoor park would be better. and maybe because we came in early may it wasn’t as good as we should’ve experienced but it wasn’t good at all. the only things that were open were poseidon’s wave. which i will give it to them that was fun. the water slides were all closed, and the theme park was half-open. none of the stores or gift shops were open outside either. the lazy river was open though but it was disgusting and you could never find a tube to float in. it was almost like there was a tube shortage. there was trash floating bugs everywhere in the pool. when we went to shower in the public showers we just skipped it and didn’t shower because of how disgusting it was as well. a lady was fully naked and holding the wet towel bin to cover her private parts and everyone who had towels to put in had to come close to her. on top of that there was only one place in the entire park to get towels! Also extremely crowed and had a very strong aroma of marijuana. the ground was not as gross as the inside but was still disgusting. the only good thing that came out of this resort is that the staff on site at the theme parks were all extremely pleasant and nice.

Hotel was more like a motel worn out and a mile from the water park. Bedding was very used, pillows flat with dingy pillow cases. The adjoining room door had screws all the way around it. No shower curtain this place genuinely reminded me of a housing project. Water park was way over crowded and geared for kids. Had to wait in line to get in the hot tub. The included amusement park was free to get into then you pay separately for everything you wanna do inside. Food and drink inside was insanely high for microwave level.

Mt. Olympus is terrible! Trust me! They get zero stars. Do not stay there!!!!. The indoor water parks are closed during the summer. The website posts tons of pictures of its indoor water parks, slides but when you get there, they are closed and the outdoor park says it's open until 9pm but actually closes at 6pm. If you complain, they will do nothing. We had no internet in our room shortly after arriving. We called front desk. They did nothing. They will actually ignore your calls. I have no idea how this place is even business with this type of service. Unsuspecting nieve consumers, getting ripped off. Don't be a victim.

We stayed in building 10 during the winter months and our room seemed out of date. We had a shower faucet that leaked towards thr wall and the floor was bubbly in some areas. On the first night there was numerous guests being overly obnoxious in the halls near our door, a few doors down there was a disturbance that had our children asking what was going on. This is not necessarily something the hotel can control but did effect our overall experience. Our room was fairly clean, one spot on the floor near the wall with some sort of spill stain (possibly missed with the mop). The matteress on the top bunk was too "springy" for anyone to sleep on. We did enjoy the arcade as well as indoor waterpark. The waterpark seemed fine for our 5yr old however our 11 and 12 yr old were bored after awhile. The indoor waterpark is no longer thrilling for our family. As far as the indoor themepark section it was refreshing to see a new set up that consistes of more arcade games, mini golf, multiepul "fair" style rides. There was also a bar and grill. Overall we probably will not be sleeping at Mt.Olympus anymore but will do the outdoor water park when in season.

Mt. Olympus hotel and water park are awful, this was a horrible experience for my family. They offer a deal with a discount if you pay in advance - it’s non refundable- this is a scam because they want to rip you off- what they don’t tell you is that at the water park 11 of the 14 slides are closed- the indoor water park is closed and the indoor amusement park is closed. The accommodations are absolutely disgusting- old and dilapidated as was the water park. Our stay for one afternoon and night was $644 - we are so disappointed in our experience. We work so hard for our money and feel robbed after this.

We were not hotel guests, so I can only speak about the waterpark itself. Be prepared to walk, a lot, just to get into the park. The walk isn't too bad on your way in. It's still going to be a PITA for those who have bad knees, in a wheel chair, parent's with strollers, etc... You have to climb that same hill when you're ready to leave for the day.
The lazy river was anything but lazy. It moves fast. They should rename it to the Crazy River. There are too many people who are horsing around and riding three wide, which causes a game of bumper tubes the entire time. I tried to keep up with my daughter, but she'd get flung so far in front of me. I had to exit the river, then go against the current while pushing other guests out of the way just to get her to safety. She was freaking out because so many people were throwing innertubes around while she was trying to exit. Another little girl was yelling for help to get out, so I pulled her out too and helped her get to her mom.
Medusa's Slidewheel is worth the wait. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon and only had to wait about 40 minutes to get on the ride. There were a few people trying to line jump. They were called out by other guests.
Poseidon's Rage (wave pool with very high waves) was pretty cool, but my daughter didn't like how strong the waves were even in the shallow end. We went to the calmer wave pool for her to enjoy swimming.
Big lockers cost $30. I feel that's too much money, but I'd rather pay $30 than have my belongings stolen. I saw plenty of people leave their beach bags on their lounge chairs all day. Maybe it's fine to leave your stuff out and unattended, but I didn't feel like taking that risk.
Overall, we enjoyed the park. There were just a few annoyances, but it's hard to control so many people and the lifeguards can only do so much.

Mt. Olympus has really gone down hill. The indoor Waterpark was overcrowded and not to mention they took 2 water slides out. So they only have 2 slides now. When booking my room stated it was 0-1 min walk to the park when it really takes 10-15min going up and down stairs or elevators to get there. There is zero Covid restrictions here. There was just tons of trashy people walking around, and many people smoking weed, so the parking lot, outdoor and indoor theme parks just reeked. Way overpriced to swim in a terrible overcrowded Waterpark with trashy people. Won't ve going back.

STOLEN FROM LUGGAGE ZIPPER POCKET - Brand New in Package with Tags - Navy Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Deep Water Swim Tights $59.00
Not to mention requested and approved adjoining rooms and the request was not honored and not mentioned at check in, Then to top it off room were dirty.

No room poolside to even sit, no tables, dirty, and then charge 15 dollars for a locker to experience nothing but crowded filth? Horrible place, we will go back to the wilderness Beats this place hands down

It's mediocre. Heres the good and the bad:
-They have roller coasters and water slides and wave pool all in one park, so you don't have to leave and go to another. You can go from ride to ride if you want to.
-Their Hades ride, that goes under the parking lot, is awesome!
-Their wave pool is interesting - it's pretty shallow, it has ONE BIG WAVE that comes about every 3 minutes. It knocks a full adult on their back. BUT the water is very cold, and there's no other options... they don't do a series of medium waves in repetition like other parks, only the giant wave, and then nothing for a while, then another giant wave.
-If you stay at the hotel, they give you "free tickets" to the theme park, but then charge a "resort fee" that is more expensive than if you had just separately bought theme park tickets.
-The park requires $20 parking if you are not a hotel guest.
-The ride lines are very fast in the morning if you arrive when they open.
-They will make you throw away your $6 starbucks you just bought on the way over, they don't allow any carry in beverages or food at all.
-It seems like they go days at a time without cleaning the restrooms. In a wet water park, this is nasty.
-They CLOSE THE INDOOR WATERPARK and don't tell you on their website that it's closed for the season - all summer, until the outdoor water park closes again. So, don't make the error of thinking you get indoor and outdoor and theme park - you don't!!! We complained to the front desk and received partial refunds as a result.
-They do not provide any towels for resort guests - only if you use the indoor park (which was closed) do they provide them. And they have signs in the hotel rooms at the resort telling you NOT to take hotel towels to the water park. So.... of course, they sell them for a high price in their gift shops. BRING TOWELS.
-Staff is kind. We had a person with obvious mental disabilities in our group and staff went out of their way to be engaging, kind, and talkative with him, particularly when they could tell the rest of us were preoccupied with paying for something or coordinating who was going where. We really appreciated the staff taking that extra step. If Mount Olympus reads this, it was particularly the employee that has a scar on his neck from a brain surgery. We ended up talking with him a bit and he was just SO helpful to us. Thank you!

I think this was one of the worst experiences of my life. This isn’t even a hotel. They have a million buildings and no way to reach any of them. If you didn’t rent a car you will be screwed. They have no restaurants besides pizza in any building. The beds are terrible. The pillows are terrible. The sheets are terrible. The bathrooms are terrible. The water park is small. Just terrible experience

We went here right before the 4th of July and had a great time. We stayed at Hotel Rome which was perfect to walk right out to the car and the park. I was nervous because of the reviews but our room was clean and the park was fun! We had a blast. We’re already planning our next trip!

We stayed at Mt. Olympus from Friday, 8/16 through Sunday, 8/18.
Check-in seemed smooth at first. A very friendly gentleman checked me in for our two reserved rooms, gave me the wristbands (used for room access and charging to the room), and explained that I’d receive a text with our room numbers by 4 p.m. Since we had arrived early to use the waterpark, this sounded fine.
The problems began that afternoon. When I tried to use my wristband to make a purchase at the waterpark, I was told it wasn’t registered. The wristbands for the other room worked, but mine did not. After 4 p.m., I only received one text with a room number, not both. When I called, I was told the second text would come soon—and only then would the wristbands work. When the second text eventually came, none of the wristbands for that room worked.
After another call, I was told only one wristband could be activated over the phone and the rest required us to return to the off-site check-in. So, I brought my whole family back. By the time we got to the room at 9 p.m., the bands still didn’t work. I called again, and someone came around 9:10 to let us in. He said new wristbands would be brought to us, but by 10 p.m., no one had arrived. When I called again, I was told the problem wasn’t the wristbands at all, but the door lock—and maintenance could fix it either that night or in the morning. Since it was late and my kids needed to sleep, we chose the morning option.
Meanwhile, at 11 p.m., the hallway was full of at least a dozen children running, yelling, and playing. Quiet hours were posted as starting at 10 p.m. A neighbor told us this had been going on since Wednesday. She had already called security, but no one ever came. When someone from our group asked the kids to quiet down, they pretended to shoot us with squirt guns, and their parents actually called security on us. Still, no staff ever showed up. At this point, between the room issues and lack of support with the disruptive guests, the stay was very frustrating.
The next morning, I called again to explain everything and requested a manager. I also asked to be moved to new rooms, which we were granted, along with a “late check-out” for the first rooms (meaning we had to be out by 1 p.m.). We then had to go back to the off-site check-in again to get new wristbands. The second set of rooms weren’t ready until about 1:30, so we had to load everything into the cars in the meantime.
Fortunately, the new rooms in Hotel Rome (on property) were much nicer than the first ones. The beds were more comfortable, the rooms were more updated, and overall the stay improved from that point on. In contrast, the first rooms had an ancient refrigerator, uncomfortable creaky beds, and “headboards” that were just painted on the wall.
The kids enjoyed the waterpark and theme park, but the first 24 hours were very discouraging. With over 1,700 rooms on the property, it seems they don’t feel the need to go above and beyond when problems arise—because there are plenty of other guests to fill the rooms.
For that reason, I can only give this stay 2 stars.

awesome for the price you get rollercoasters go karts and a water park for 30 bucks fantastic value
not the biggest place but not to be missed if in the dells

We went there in winter, so only the indoor park is opened, The indoor water park only have a lazy river, one slide with tube and one without tube, and the new slidewheel ride, less than what I expect, there are 2 pool area for kids to play. If you go in weekday, less people, then no need to wait for the slides, but if you go on weekends, there are much more people, people need to wait for the tube, wait for the whirl pool, wait for the slides. But as there are not much to play, I think 2 hours would be pretty enough, but if you need to wait, then may need to 2 more hours for the waiting time. For the indoor theme park, only has 5 rides, some are just for kids, some are ok for adults, too. There are other things, but most of them need to pay extra money, e.g. the rock climbing, the bowling, the only "free" (or ticket included) things are the 5 rides, and the kids golf. Not much people in the indoor theme park, so you no need to wait for long time even in weekend. 1 hour will be pretty enough for the indoor theme park. So I think no need to to stay in the resort hotel, as you can finish both indoor water and theme park within one day. But if you stay there, you will get free tickets to go skiing or tubing in the Christmas mountain, which may be an attraction for you to stay there. If you have ski gear, the free lift tickets may be good for you, otherwise you have to pay the rental, while for tubing, the tickets include everything you need for tubing, no extra need to pay, but just 2 hours of tubing.
for the hotel, no matter where you book, you need to go to main check-in to check it first, if you book the site far from the waterpark, you need to drive a few minutes there. for check out, you just need to leave the key card in the room, there is a specific place to put those key cards.

Hades 360 was amazing! It has been upgraded since our last visit.
Recommend, RECOMMEND, RECommENd!!!
Mt. Olympus is a must stop for families, really anyone! Water rides, plus theme park gives you a nice break between the 2.

I reviewed the hotel separately from this but we did stay at Rome. The indoor water park is just average. The one amazing thing is the new Medusa Slide which is incredible. Other than that - two water slides for adults/older kids, a small kiddie area with a couple small slides for those under 7, a couple of pools, a hot tub (which was not hot just warm) and a lazy river - which was crazy shallow that your knees might hit the bottom and no cool features like water falls, etc). The food is so crazy expensive that we just timed it to get hungry and then leave to eat elsewhere - $7 for a small dip n dots ice cream which is worth about $3 for 50 cents worth of ice cream. A tube of sugar candy is $7. A can of beer was $9. Unreal. If you are at the attached hotel you have to walk through. skywalk and then through a door and down steps to access the park. Not super convenient so I can only imagine how frustrating it is for those not staying the the attached building. There are also not very many seats. Most of the seats and tables are on an upper level. They have like 6 -8 areas with pay extra better seating all blocked off and reserved for those who wish to pay extra. Not one of them were in use as the typical guest that visits this park is not going to pay for that. Huge waste of space and a slap in the face to guests who would like to sit near the water park floor and watch the their kids. Staff was ok and lifeguards were attentive. I'll never go back to this place.

The indoor attractions are all closed but it does not reflect it online. The room and service are awful. Next door they have a sub woofer stereo from home blaring it all night and after calling and complaining several times security did nothing. I asked for a different room but nothing was done about that either. Water park is overcrowded etc.

went here on the 5th,6th and 7th of August 2022. the room was dirty when we got there, stuff on the carpetsaturday the 6th we asked for fresh towels, and for them to leave a vacuum (since they did not do housekeeping till after guests leave) while we went to the park. several hours later(more than 5) when we got back nothing had been done, had to call the office AGAIN and within 5 minutes we had our towels and they dropped off a vacuum. we then left to eat,and when we came back there was ANOTHER vacuum and more towels left. was extremely dissappionted to find that ALL the indoor attractions(water AND amusement) were NOT operating, the entire time we were there and absolutely NOTHING stating this on thier website.

Small size limits for the childrens rides. My 3 year old couldn’t do anything cuz of size and she’s 33” tall. Even though she just did equivalent rides at Knuckleheads. Indoor park was closed and they don’t tell you ahead of time. Large slides had long long lines and there was far too long in between riders. Probably 2 minutes between each tube that came down and when there are 10” people in line…. The wait times they advertise on the slides we’re just a fraction. Our 30 minute wait time was actually 75 minutes. A lot of the attractions aren’t included in the admittance fees. Food was overpriced and not good. Do yourselves a favor and pay the extra bucks to go to Noah’s Ark.

The $10 tickets sucked us in and we thought we'd give it a shot. Of course there is additionally the $5 fee per ticket for online purchases as well, so beware of that. On the plus side they didn't have enough staff to charge us $25 for parking.
The rollercoasters seem poorly maintained, like maybe bare minimum required maintenance.
The park was dirty, gum stuck everywhere, it was just gross.
While we were waiting in line for the go karts not once, but twice, we witnessed people come flying in and slam into other go karts that were already parked. While listening to the repeated announcements that the park doesn't take responsibility for injures. (I made sure we cam in last so that we wouldn't get slammed into when it was our turn to ride.
That should be immediate ejection from the park it's dangerous and reckless. There weren't enough employees to handle these sorts of incidents, nor are they probably paid enough to care anyway.

We took our three oldest granddaughters to Mount Olympus April 16th to 18th. The event was a choice of one granddaughters birthday wish. My wife booked the trip, we were told the hotel was an easy walk to the indoor water park. True if the weather was perfect and you like to carry all of your gear all day. We were assigned to building 10. Once we arrived a the hotel the disappointment started. The building looks rundown and is, both the exterior and interior. The secure building door lock were not functioning (reading previous reviews, they haven't been working for months). The parking lot was dirty with trash all over, only to find out it appears nightly the hotel guests like to clean their cars, dumping their trash in the parking lot. The room was dull, warn, noisy and overall below average. Once we got settled the kids immediately wanted to go swimming. Get to the pool and then real disappointment sets in. The pool was soo over crowded, it was unbelievable. No place to swim, sit or enjoy any element of it. The pools were so full you would have to swim standing up! The lazy river didn't have enough tubes (shared with the slides). Only exacerbated by the many people who just grabbed a tube and kept it for their personal use (not one employee made any attempt to put them all in use). Only swam for an hour. Kids were disappointed (See the common theme?). On departing, the police were there resolving a dispute, again not a feeling of a safe and welcoming environment. The nights at the hotel were filled with noise, music blasting in the parking lots and total disregard for fellow guests. the first night we went back to the hotel, there were many staff arguing with guests in the hallway. Ultimately the kids did get about an hour and a half of swimming in when the water park opened before it became over crowded. I don't believe we ran into any staff who seemed to care or appreciate the customer service jobs they occupy anywhere in the park. Clearly a poorly run organization who spends more time on their false advertising than delivering on the product they claim to provide. My oldest granddaughter also wanted her birthday party there. This was canceled immediately. There is no way any of our $$$ will ever go to Mount Olympus again!!! Find someone who want to earn your hard earned $$$$

As a flight attendant I am blessed/spoiled with hotels and resorts. Being from Wisconsin I am always biased for my state and tell people to visit. I used to work in the Dells, and enjoy what it has. I just wish the resort was a little more open than when I visited. Half of the rides /water attractions were closed. I want to chalk it up to COVID. However, why is the other half open? Thankfully I didn’t feel too cheated. I did enjoy the rides that were open. The hotel can use some updating. My room had no shower curtain and didn’t have minor things I have come to take for granted (bath mat, tissue) I will say it would be a great value when everything is open, and I imagine staffed to follow up on these minor things. I want to support them, but I think I will wait until next season before I come back to feel like I got my value. Pro tip advice to hotel, offer looping shuttles. It would do wonders for the area. It would boost your liquor sales as nobody would be worried about driving.

Drove 4.5 hours rooms were not clean very noisy all three nights we were there. Very over crowded water park when someone bullied our spots as we took a dip in the pool took our chairs dug threw our stuff I was very upset with the pool security as they treated us like we were not important. We sat in these spots 11am - 7pm as we celebrated our grandsons 7th bday. Our stuff was there I would have given these people a chair if they had asked but to take over our chairs and stuff and the staff disregarded everything I said and wanted to move us?? Why would you not move the bullies who took over grandparents chairs and items? Just terrible situation. Sad we couldn't feel as our clothing and towels we brought aren't safe as we try to enjoy an over crowded area. Would never recommend this facility to anyone....

There were not a lot of people which was nice but it was a bit of a bummer that most rides were closed. I do appreciate that both the indoor water park and theme parks were perfect for the kids and cool weather.

We just arrived for a Mon - Thur stay & realized the website did not make anything clear at all. We didn’t know that there were several buildings to stay in & most of them are actually motels (not hotels). Also they were old & cheaply decorated. There were crumbs under the mattresses of the bunk beds (disgusting)! Getting around the park is a feat as well, directions on where to go & park your car are soooo confusing, be prepared to do a lot of walking! Also, we found out when we got here that the indoor water park is closed for renovations. When I looked at the attractions list it said open this summer. But another spot says closed, open September… that is NOT this summer. Very disappointed & we haven’t even stayed one night yet!

Look its Wi Dells so its always busy but the kids had a great time, we felt safe and it was a good deal! What more can you ask for! In addition, The life guards were attentive, the staff were friendly, room was clean, and food was good.
Yes, we had to drive from room to park but honestly no big deal. The indoor water park was a bit cold for toddlers but its Winter in Wisconsin still they give you free towels to use.

My family and I have been going here for the last ten years. But this year and last have been the worst experience we have ever experienced before I thought last year was our worst but year was right up there with last year. First thing was that I was lied to again about the free day passes i received last year for our horrible experience we had. I was told when I called on Saturday July 6th 2024 from the supervisor customer service representative that my parking fee would be waived and I would not have to paid the 40 dollars to just go and get my day passes But I had to pay that and then when I called and talked to a supposedly customer service representative there was nothing she could do for me because it was out of her hands. I think charging 40 dollars to park is ridiculous. The another reason I give this place a low rating is that I have a service dog and I was told I can’t bring him there because he is not allowed so I paid over a hundred dollars to have him boarded. I was there a for a family vacation with my mom as she is over the age of 80 but she loves to see her grand children having fun and seeing her whole family together. But the last couple of years have been a nightmare with all the lies and misinformation I have been given and we need first aid and they never showed up for us. So my brother ended up bring my nephew to the emergency room himself to be told the he has a concussion from a go cart accident that he experienced on the ride. So I really think you should have more first aid people or better ride operators when accident happened. So my nephew vacation was over on the first day we were there. This was the WORST vacation my family and I have ever experienced there.

This is legitimately the motel 4.5 of the dells.
The new waterside is horrendous.. I'm not the type for motion sickness, but after being rocked 16 times, then sent down a black tunnel for too long of a time, it's finally over. If you're lucky, you're not wearing vomit from anyone on your tube.
We had 2 reservations back to back, and they couldn't combine them. They had us come back and get new room keys on the day of the reservation change, we asked if we needed new bracelets and were told no.
Now fast forward to 1130 at night when someone is knocking on our door and waking our family us all up, telling us that the room is supposed to be empty.
After clearing it up, and trying to fall back asleep, 20 minutes later the phone rings to tell us that they had some mistake in their system, someone screwed up, or whatever. I was done listening, as I was already mad at being woke up over something I tried to ensure wouldn't happen, well before it happened.
There are much better times than 1130 at night, talking about how the room should be empty, where everyone in the hall can hear, because the hotel system and policies made a mistake.
The indoor waterpark rides are cold water. Perhaps this is to lower the cost to heat the water in an effort to offset their new expansion. Cols to the point of shivering cold. The lifeguards are sleeping while watching from their chairs, I had to warn one that he was going to fall out of his chair if he wasn't careful.
All in all, this place is OK for one night, not the 5 I wasted thinking it was going to be better after the renovation.

Great time, just would have liked to have more guidance and information for how the process works and what is included and not included etc.

They were running an on-line special - 4 tickets for 20 dollars, plus 20 dollars per car for parking. Our first time there we got there at 10:00 and left- dragging the kids because they wanted to stay - at 7:30. With those prices it’s a little hard to complain about anything!

I I've been here two other times and had a great time .not this one and we've only been here three hours. Check in is 3 miles away, room smells like its in a damp dark basement, stairs to our entrance aren't kid friendly and people smoking at the entrance so have to walk my grandsons through smoke together in.'m trying to take a bath but having to hold down the plug with my foot. No notification when booking that indoor water park is closed. Even though its listed in the hours, a courtesy to guests would to advise them at booking. Beds are like the cheapest mattress available AND blanket feels like its made of sandpaper. Came for my grandsons birthday otherwise I'd probably pack up and leave. Hoping for a better day tomorrow than tonihht has been. Also the continuous ads stating offer expires at midnight ought to be false advertising especially with not mentioning half the park is closed. Nothing at all open for my three year old grandson. Can’t even explain my disappointment. Used to be so nice.

Had an amazing time with the family the resort is top notch and an excellent and for your buck. The kids (8 and 12) thoroughly enjoyed the rides. We didn’t even get to the water park. Definitely plan on spending a couple days there. Will be back. Thanks Nick!!

Visited after a stay in a house just outside the Dells. Booked 1 night with early check which was nice but moved us to a property away from the park which was a 20 minute walk.
Friday the park was great the lines weren’t that bad. 14B and 13G both had a great time riding the coasters in The AM and then slides, the wave pool and even a big bucket. It felt safe letting them roam.
Saturday morning we got there early and they managed to get on the rides they wanted to do but by 11 it was getting very crowded. We left and the number of people still coming in was amazing.
We’ll be back but not on a weekend.

Only the outdoor parks were open. Not what I paid for. Building Number 10 was nothing more than a college dorm room accommodations. Beds were uncomfortable, not even a coffee pot in the room, no breakfast offerings, shower screeched and popped while in use, room not very clean. And....this building had no security on its entrance doors. I don't know how you can call yourself a "Resort"!

The water park and theme park are nice. Here’s the issues. Rooms are 1/5. Customer service is 0/5. Our reservation made in April was lost. Rebooked, ensured no extra charge. Then as we booked a cabana once again you can see the reservation number and charge to credit card but yet they can’t find it in their system. Continuous waits for this to be fixed by a supervisor who doesn’t get on the phone. Very frustrating. My advice… stay somewhere else.

Visited last weekend and I was really disappointed. I have been there several times before and usually enjoy myself. Mt. Olympus has really gone down hill in the last 5 years and the park staff don't seem to follow their own rules or care about the safety of the visitors.
$30 just to park?!? This is insane.
So many people bumping into others on the go karts and no ride operator said anything to them and they definitely didn't lose their driving privileges like the announcement said over and over. Some people got bumped 15-20 feet past the starting cone! Definitely not a soft tap and someone who should be driving. Surprised nobody was seriously hurt.
Hades ride operators were so slow to load. It took anywhere from 3 -15 minutes to load and send the next train. We waited about 75 minutes the first time and over an hour the second time. People were yelling at others who were line jumping and 6 security people came and didn't do anything. While they waited for security the ride wasn't going.
Many e-cigarette and Marijuana smokers in line at a smoke free park. I even saw one smoking while waiting in a go kart. My kids and others shouldn't have to smell that.
Wristbands are pointless. With waterpark only and all the different colors, the staff don't seem to know who should be in the park or even on a ride. One kid commented that he finally got caught with his waterpark only pass. Another group of kids didn't even have a wristband on and were trying to ride a rollercoaster and refused to get off.
The waterpark is now terrible. They took out all the slides on the far side of the park. The inside waterpark was not open except for a kiddie pool and Medusa's wheel. The outside waterpark was packed and there were only 3 waterslides for bigger kids. Other than that it was a bunch of pools (lazy river, wave pools, pool) and a kid area.
I don't think we will be going back. It used to be fun but not anymore.

There are a lot of mixed reviews on this place. First of all I will say that overall, my family had an awesome time. The waterpark is incredible. The theme park is pretty decent too. But the website is misleading and you’re not exactly staying at a 5 star resort. Here’s what you need to know up front:
1) This is not a “resort”. There’s the Hotel Rome aka Building 1 which is right next to the water park. This is the option you get when you select rooms 0-1 minutes from the park.
The rest of the buildings (2-5 min from park option) are literally just old motels and hotels all the way up the street. Mt Olympus bought them and stuck a statue of a Greek god out front. Some are walking distance from the park, some are a 5 minute drive away. You don’t know which building you’ll be in until you check in (and pay up front). If you choose this option you’re best off taking a drive past the theme park just to check out where the buildings are and request one that looks decent and is close to the park. We were originally in building 4 which was a motel room. It was close to the park, clean but sparse and not really where we wanted to spend our 5 day vacation. We moved to Hotel Rome which was nicer. Even still, the rooms are sparse and the beds are not super comfortable. But it’s clean, spacious and close to the park.
2) Park hours vary, and the indoor parks are not open during the summer. We originally thought we’d have two theme parks and two water parks to choose from. The indoor theme park was completely closed but a small part of the indoor water park (kiddie pool and splash pad, plus the rotating water slide) was open. It really didn’t matter because the outdoor parks were awesome and enough to keep us occupied. Check the website for park hours.
3) Avoid peak times. Thankfully we went during the week and it was pretty calm. But I can imagine that when 30 buildings’ worth of people are packed into the park it gets nuts.
4) Waterpark is amazing. 10/10. Theme park is good, but mostly Go karts and wooden roller coasters. If that’s not your cup of tea you may not get a lot out of it.
Overall: for the price we paid this was an awesome time and amazing value. If the park invested a bit in the accommodations it would be top notch.

The water park was so crowded it was impossible to enjoy. The lazy river was so crowded that the tubes were piling up on top of others. There was no seating available anywhere.
Our room was in building 16. It was clean but the it was more comparable to staying at a Motel 6 then a waterpark resort .
Out of 22 years of taking our children on family vacations this the first time I have ever written a bad review about a place. Total waste of time and money. We will never come back here again.

We were so excited to come to the resort however, the filth, lack of basic safety policies, the nickel and diming, and the empty promises made this the trip from hell. I talked to staff, sent and email and followed up with post but was ignored. Listen to the reviews and avoid this resort at all costs.

We’ll worth the $5 we paid for the day
Someone definitely needs to supervise the adult hot tub, because there was probably 15 kids to three adults

The water park was amazing but HADES 360 and Zuess are one of the worst rides I have EVER been on. It shakes your head so much to the point that when you get off you have a huge headache, and it’s just an overall horrible experience. The ride wasn’t smooth at all, just felt like my neck was gonna snap.

This waterpark (as are all waterparks) are nothing but cesspools of filth and bacteria and I wouldn't even dip my big toe in any of them. They are also over run by unsupervised juveniles. My advice: don't waste your time or money. It's definitely not worth it.

Just go to one of the other actual inclusive resorts around here.
From start to finish it was a poor experience! I wasnt aware mt olympis bought all the surrounding hotels so when you book you have no clue which hotel you will get. Theres no on site management for all these hotels and they are not very nice. Ours seemed okay but once the deoderizer they use wore off it smelled bad. The 11pm quiet time is not existent since theres noone to help. Owning so many buildings added that many more people to the park so its just a mess. There was only one building to get towels. Upon check in they gave no information. Fire alarm went off at 7am forcing me to carrying my small children out just for no firetrucks or communication on to what was happening which was a very weird feeling. It felt unsafe from the get go. Its obvious its all about booking and money and not about customer experience. I wish i wouldve read reviews before booking because i wouldve booked else where. The theme park itself was fine except the hills and odd layout that you kinda have to figure out yourself. It was just a very unpleasant experience. Im happy my children are small and are happy with any water but definitely choosing more wisely next time.

Worst experience ever. I been vacationing in the dells for past 40 yrs with family. First off the water park and amusement park is trash. It's always completely over crowded and SUPER GHETTO. they bought out all the family run motels up and down the strip and turned then into building numbers. And then tore out all the pools that were at them motels . Why u ask. So they force u to go to there main water park. Who wants to have to drive and pack up to go swimming. Sometimes u want to just go for a swim at the place u staying and also so it's not over crowded and also to have family pool time. U can't with them. Owners. Have a super huge mansion on lake delton, that looks ridiculous on a small lake . They just want to show off there money. Little do people know. They lease alot of there properties and such. That Greek family is very snobby and they think they own the dells. I highly recommend yo anyone. Don't waste ur family vacation with them. And don't give them a dime of ur money. Go to aloha Beach on lake delton. Or spring brooks resort. Or Cliffside hotel . Better experience and u know ur money is going to the right things. Mt Olympus is a F grade. They needed investors. That who gave them the money. He started with a hamburger shop. He didn't have no.money.

We went to the dells this past weekend for a friend's birthday. We booked our rooms in January at 50% off, nothing on the website said 2-5 min away from anything, look 1 week prior to going and it says 2-5min away. Called to get into the 'main building' as my son is small and i didn't want him out in the cold. they charged me 165.00 extra to stay at hotel Rome. Place was a rundown disgusting dirty place. Hotel hallways smelled of weed and cigarette, kids and adults running up and down the hall all night long walls are paper thin. my 6-year-old did not sleep we did not sleep. big gap in doors, shower did not drain. i can't believe i paid close to $500 for this place. Friday night my son ended up getting sick, puked all over the bed- NO room service in till 8am!!!! no change of sheets no help. big unloading truck was unloading at 11pm outside of our window. then it snowed so a plow truck started at 4am. when i say no sleep i say no sleep. we went to the water park during the day- white trash of America it was like walking into a Walmart with no clothes on. my son had fun at the park and the arcade area. we ended up leaving Saturday at 4pm- i was not spending another night at that place- even though i paid for Saturday night. If I would have read the reviews prior to staying here I would have never stayed here I would have booked another resort. I booked because my friends were staying for her party. BELIEVE the other reviews. DONT book this hotel. I have never been so tired and so disappointed in my life. THEY don't tell you- you could end up at some old motel on the strip. probably isn't much better than hotel rome. save the money and use that think of that 500 to great wolfe lodge or kalahari resort at least then you would sleep

I rode Hades--a wooden coaster that does a 360 corkscrew and includes tunnels. I joked I went to hell and back in 90 seconds. It's definitely a thrill. I wasn't a fan of the $25 parking charge. Buy tickets online--they are cheaper than at the gate. My husband and grandkids had fun at the waterpark, too. The amusement park has 4 wooden coasters. (Pegasus is a big wooden coaster that is a bit tamer--perfect for the 8-year-old grandson.), a children's coast, several go-kart tracks, a few kiddie/family rides, and the outdoor waterpark area.

Do not go on Poseidon's rage! My brother got swept away by the waves and hit his head on the drain. It still hurts to this day. Any other rides are ok that I know of.

Great place to get away with the family. Definitely tons of activities you can do. I would recommend this place for a little vacation.

I visited this theme park for the first time with my family as the end of July. It was a fun experience as the weather was perfect to enjoy the lazy river, water slides and wave pool. My husband enjoyed the go carts and my daughter loved the roller coasters. Plenty of options for food and drinks. Lockers to lock up your items, $15 for a small and $30 for a larger locker. The lazy river has a fast and strong current, I would not say it’s a lazy river, it’s a fun river and fills up fast. The wave pool has one LARGE wave that goes every 2 minutes.

Don’t go if you want to sleep. The people above us ran around for 3 hours starting at midnight. We tried to call the front desk from our room multiple times and kept getting a busy signal. We had to call the 800 number just to speak to someone. And when we finally did they said they would send security over. Well I guess they didn’t because they were noisy the entire time we were trying to sleep.

We’re on our 2nd night here currently on 7/20/21 but this has been the WORST experience at any resort we’ve ever stayed at and we travel A LOT!
1. FYI indoor water park and amusement park are currently closed so unless you look VERY carefully at the small print before booking with their “50%” off be aware of that because this is a resort that’s also open to the public so it’s super crowded and long lines and very crowded!
2. We booked a cabana for the two whole days being here with another family we came with and unless you use a computer to book (not a phone) they don’t allow to add another person to be able to check in besides the only one that booked it. Wow was that a hassle even though I went and spoke with them the night before and they told me to call the front desk to add a person so I did call the front desk and got the go ahead to let them check in for me since they were going to be there before us. Well because who I spoke with at the front desk didn’t enter that into the notes they made it a huge deal and wouldn’t let them into the cabana (these cost between $250 and $290 a day!) so not worth it! Also our cabana was dirty and the only one without the 6 towels (which also doesn’t make sense when you can have up to 8 in each cabana) and then argued with us that they were there (I had to tell her look at our cabana, do you see ANY of your towels because we’re not about trying to even want or steal them!) She came back with 4 towels and said I can only give you 4 since there were already 6 here. She had been there since the other family with us checked in and we were the earliest family there so how could she not see this? I had to tell her to stop arguing with me because she has no place to do so and none of us were drinking so they had absolutely no excuses to argue with us! They absolutely like to argue with you so there’s another FYI so definitely NOT customer service friendly!! I mean why would they not want to argue when you’ll get charged an extra $20 per towel 🤦🏼♀️
3. Do NOT get a room in a high traffic area or below 3rd floor if you want to get any sleep. We had to call twice the first night at 3am due to thumping and running from the room above us and again now once so far tonight at 11pm. In all honestly I WILL NEVER stay at this place again!! Rant over..

Might not have been anything they could have done about it, but because of staffing several things were closed. We were told only two coasters could be open per day and three go cart tracks were closed both days we were there. Water park same way only about half the attractions were open. Might be better next week when they are “in season” but we paid the same for all attractions and only got half.

This is the worst place to go with your family. We are currently staying here and immediately regretted this decision and want to leave but already paid for our stay! This place is not worth what they charge. The rooms are gross trashy and run down, they offer nothing. The bunk beds are dangerous for small kids and they don’t even offer a continental breakfast. How is this even considered a “resort”?!!! Also, it is inconvenient to come here and have to drive to the indoor water park it should be connected to the resort. I feel like my family is staying in a sketchy rundown HO’tel. People are rude, noisy, loud and inconsiderate. I will never come back here again.

This is a waste of money. Lines are too long. The wooden roller coasters are sooooo rough. Take in the natural landscape around the Dells or rent kayaks. The water parks are a tourist trap and too expensive. We stayed at Mt. Olympus off-site hotel with our package. It was dirty and gross. Never again.

We got a room with 3 queen beds in 2 different roo. with Tvs for both rooms, the website map also makes it look like you are in an actual resort, it is not. We were a mile from the entrance. The park isn't terrible but the better value would be to rent a room anywhere else and buy day passes. Not saying it was false advertising.... but it was, nothing was what we were shown on the website.

this was a very first time to the Dells as a family trip I really wished I would of picked a different resort to stay. As beautiful as the website adversities this establishment this I would not recommend this to anyone. upon arrival when we found the building, we were staying in upon trying to check in what looked like the arcade side of the resort I was rudely told by a cafe employer to go to building 39 as if I knew where this was and rolled her eyes while saying it(awkward). it was the lovely caring front desk clerk from the Odessey not affiliated with the resort who was courteous enough to not only give directions to get there but also the exact address we needed to go check in with. the amusement park was not open they only have the indoor theme park open until 0400 and the medusa slide that we were really excited to us was under maintenance. This was highly disappointing as this was not told nor advertised to us when booking the reservation. Had I known it was very limited and undergoing constructional changes I would book elsewhere and tried them when everything was open and running. Just remember you get what you pay for booking with this facility. I only recommend better communication for first time ever visitors to avoid disappointments.

This place boasts of 44 water slides but half the water park was gated off and not counting the kid splash pad ones I only counted 6 slides to choose from. The theme park is also fairly small. Lots of go kart tracks but they all seemed repetitive. The Trojan horse one had going through and up the actual horse closed off for some reason. Food and drinks were good but definitely priced for a theme park. None of the workers seemed happy.

$40 Parking cost is insane, $48 for a frozen pepperoni pizza and plain hamburger, go karts and getting worn out, but the coasters are good. Get cheap tickets in December but plan on dropping big bucks once trapped inside.

The water park was great the kids had a ball. The hotel room was very clean the staff at the main office was very nice and professional. I am definitely making another trip. Oh and our room was exactly across from the water park so that was definitely a bonus. Only thing for me was the long wait for the room to be ready but not a big deal. Trip was amazing.

Open the indoor places! With everyone packed together outside, the fight against COVID is pointless. When things are closed off it funnels people into close spaces. If the goal is to protect people and space them out, open the indoor attractions. Overall a pretty meh experience. With online tickets costing $10 and parking costing $25. This place is not worth the $35 for the amount of things one can do. Some fun rides but still not much to do other than like 4 coasters and go-karts. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families until the 2022 summer. Hopefully this place will have cleaned up its act and actually made it back into a place where people want to be.

For a day trip -- can't beat it. All the outdoor water rides, pools, and go-karts were open. All but one roller coaster open. $10 per ticket on-line ($7 at Christmas Mtn). Perfect park for teens and little kids. Great mix of water and non-water fun for teens, and the scaled down fun at the pools are great for little kids. Giant wave pool is a hoot. Downside: parking was $25! I understand the indoor water park was closed. Beautiful day outside -- no need for the indoor park.

Extremely happy with visit. Lines were short. Kids played hard all day and had a blast. Great deal. Food was good and price was average

I mainly visited Mt Olympus to checkout their roller coaster collection. I got a $5 admission deal online, which is a decent value for the attraction. They do seem to want to nickel and dime you otherwise. For instance, the $30 parking fee is offensive. If you can avoid this, I would try. I saw some folks parking in the free lots by Top Secret and Ghost Outpost and walking over. And honestly, the disinterested employees probably wouldn't care if you told them you wanted to exit and just parked instead. Pegasus was closed when I visited, so I rode three of the four wooden coasters that they have. Hades 360 is the best of them and probably one of the most intense roller coasters I have ever ridden - for better or worse. If they could find a way of smoothing the track out some, this would probably be one of the better wooden coasters in the country. However, you have to weigh out the pain you receive from half the ride vs the chaotic fun you get from the other. I ultimately enjoyed it, but some may just get a severe headache. Zeus is fun and a much smoother attraction, but nothing to write home about. Cyclops is fairly short and not terribly noteworthy. All of the wooden coasters had one train operating and, in some cases, had only one employee operating the entire ride. This made for longer than necessary waits and made the park look like a pretty shoddy operation. The go kart tracks are all pretty slow and the one that goes through the Trojan horse has a permanent detour so you cannot go through the Trojan horse. The water slides look decent, but appeared to have poor operation and massive lines as well. Overall, this park has fun attractions, but seems to be trying to run on a shoestring operating budget. This makes for a below average park experience. I would not be surprised if there was a history of safety incidents here because of it. For waterpark fans, I'd go with Noah's Ark instead. For roller coaster fans, it's worth checking out Hades and Zeus if you can find a deal on tickets and avoid the offensive parking charge. There's good and bad here, but they need to put more effort into the operation for me to fully recommend this one.

Horrible two-night stay. The water didn’t turn on in the bathroom, so no shower. Maintenance said they would come within 15 minutes, but didn’t. They ended up giving us a small refund that didn’t even cover a night. Room smelled like mold (couldn’t have been cleaned well without water). Parks not worth it. You’d be better off camping.

I cannot comment on the rooms or hotel, as we only purchased day passes for the park in July of 2022 and June of 2023. Weekends are obviously rough, long lines etc. Overall the park and waterpark are nice, wish there was a better assortment of amusement park rides. Wave pool is really strong. Indoor section leaves something to be desired though. They don't really advertise that you have to stand at the end of a slide to grab a raft from someone getting office before you go up and get in line for a slide. Passes on sale for 20/pp so good value for what you get.

Lord, I don't even know where to begin. Let me start by saying any part of the trip where we spent time in the "resort" or park was an absolute nightmare. This was our first time visiting the Dells. In order to keep things PG, let’s just say we were hoodwinked. Unlike other reviewers, we knew the indoor water park was closed ahead of our visit, so that was not a surprise for us. We thought there were enough outdoor rides to take advantage of the "discounted" rates though, and unfortunately booked the stay.
The check in site is located miles away from your room. The 30+ resort buildings are scattered throughout the main drag. Some look really scary, and are true motel-style properties. The building we were assigned was a cross between a creepy youth hostel, insane asylum, and the movie Vacancy. There were no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'm shocked parents were brave enough to let their kids out of their sight... but that they did. It was a true Lord of the Flies scenario... Kids ran through the hallways, knocking on doors & running away as late as 11pm. Don't count on sleeping in either. The precious angels in the room above us provided daily wake up calls at 6am by running & jumping off of the beds. Also, don't expect anything to be in the room except bare necessities. Tissues are not provided, and neither are dressers. However, if you are a fan of The Office you might get a laugh at the TV... a'la tiny plasma screen with an articulating mount.
Regarding the attractions, don't be fooled into thinking "the bigger the better". The actual park had potential, but the layout is terrible. It's not circular. It runs along the road, so things are more spread out than necessary. The employees look soooo miserable too. And some rules are bazaar. We were told by one lifeguard we couldn’t bring the waterproof GoPro into the pool for fear the plastic case might shatter... yet you’re able to go down slides wearing sunGLASSes? Ugh - insert eyeroll here.
More importantly, the clientele leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't - and didn’t - let my family out of my sight. Instead of proof of vaccination, I feel like people get a discount there if a family member spent time in jail. Could be a little harsh, but I go with my gut.
Case in point, sadly, we learned the hard way there are still terrible people in the world... and they are highly concentrated at Mt. Olympus. My 10 year old son received a concussion and whiplash on a go kart ride after a driver spun out. Everyone stopped except one man - AKA piece of garbage. He proceeded to keep his foot on the gas & rammed into the back of my son's car. As they left their cars and my son was hysterically crying and holding his head, the garbage man proceeded to walk by looking at him and laughing. I know there's a special place in hell for people like that... knowing this will help me sleep better as my son goes through his recovery.
Quite honestly I couldn't imagine any sane person would stay here once they have experienced it. This has gone onto the No, No, Never Again list for my family. Now, all I can hope for is that my review prevents families from pushing that “book now” button at Mount Olympus "Resort" - or park.

I went and stayed at the bunk house cabins we spent 300$ for 2 days only to wns up sleeping in a literal shed and you had to walk a mile to the bathrooms one pro showers gave amazing water pressure con due to covid everything is closed only 5 slides open 3 of which were kid slides all the cool slides and the indoor park were closed overall horrible experience I dont recommend going again until covids over.

Park needs major repairs and cleaning. Numerous complaints from our visit today... All of the old water slides that used to be at the back of the park are gone, the go karts no longer go through the Trojan horse, the indoor theme park was closed. Won't be returning any time soon. If you want a theme park, go to Great America. If you want a water park, go to Noah's Ark.

Booking was confusing, no one who spoke clear English was able to assist. Not friendly or helpful on phone. Be prepared to not be in short walking distance from water/amusement park unless in buildings 3-5, however no info to choose this when booking. Room is beds pushed against wall with painted on head boards. Few outlets. Towels & bedding scratchy - towels are the worst, some almost see through. No service to room unless request, few amenities. Hard wood floors, no door mat to wipe feet, by end of day 2 floor had grit from outside. Motel style rooms that open to outside unless stay in Rome rooms. Parks were nice but rooms over priced. Better to stay nearby & pay for park passes if want to visit.

Loud at the hotel. People throwing bottles. I had to call the front office 3 times. No wi fi. Doesn’t work!!

Rides and go carts were fun and it was an affordable price at only $25 per person. They do charge a lot for food and parking but, if you tell them you are gluten free you can bring in your on food. There was one go cart track that makes it look like you go through a Trojan horse when you actually don’t because it is blocked off by a concrete baracade. Over all though, it would be a good place to spend an afternoon

stay away!!!! we have been here multiple times over the past 10 years.. mediocre at best!! however, this time there was 107 dollar service fee!!!! 40% of my room total! not to mention the room was dirty and nasty! The entire building smelt like mold.. the bathroom had hair all over it. the sheets were stained (clean, but stained) very nasty looking. For the amount they charge for matinence fees that is just disgusting to walk in a room like that! The state needs to be contacted and this place needs to be shut down until it fixes its code violations! my family will never ever come to this trash service they call a buisiness ever again!!! I was nice when i left a 1 star rating.. sadly i couldnt give it less! Do your family a favor and stay away!!!

I come to the Dells every year and spend A lot of money at Mt. Olympus it last year 4th of July took the cake. Yes we were in the middle of COVID but the things that happened had nothing to do with COVID. Employees walking around asking for cigarette and alcohol from us, broken glass everywhere in the parking lot, no parking at main build which is what we paid for because I had 2 disabled people with me and management told me to park down the road in another lot and walk. All while cars were parked there without parking passes. I spoke with the manager of guest services and he said pick a day when you want to come back and we will make it right. Well almost a year later he has dodged and ignored my calls and has refused to comp us a future stay as promised. Absolutely horrified with their business ethics h and when I called to ask what was open and what wasn’t they lied completely saying the whole park was open which it wasn’t. Hopefully the lying manager can see this and would like to finally call me back. People don’t like spending thousands of dollars and get horrifying service!!!!!

Wasn't a bad place to visit but would of been nice to know that most of the water park was shut down. If not staying at the hotel I recommend checking online for sales on the day pass, ours was half the price.

Spent an afternoon with hopes of family fun. Kids mostly enjoyed themselves. Lines were long even though the park wasn't that full. Water in the wave pools/lazy river felt close to freezing, so much so it wasn't worth getting into them. I can understand having colder water, but you shouldn't turn blue.
Other reviews on the park about the high costs are accurate. Parking is $30 per car ... jaw dropping. I think visitors would be happy to pay $10-$20 per person and not have sticker shock when they try to park their cars.
I find it interesting that each review gets a response from Mt Olympus, but they never address the cost of parking, which is mentioned in a majority of their reviews. Maybe they really don't care about the feedback? I can think of better things to do in the Dells.

Fun park, less friendly than Noah's Ark in my opinion. Parking is $40 and park tickets $50. Very difficult to find coupons to save money. A family of 5 pays over $300 for a visit before paying for food, or extras. Just hard to budget for everything right now with all costs rising. Bathrooms here are always wet unlike some of the other parks, set up to get to slides are a little bit weird.. Several gates closed making you walk around more. Concrete here is very hot, no place at the slides to put shoes, no soaker hoses on concrete. Small things that just add up. Food is more affordable here. Reasonable for a waterpark. Only visited the outdoor park so I can't speak for the indoor aspect. This is a must visit in the Dells

I'm from Indiana and this is my 2nd trip to Mt. Olympus. The 1st time I stay in the villages on the main property and it was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but a good stay. This time I had purchased tickets online 4 for $20. There was a $25 parking fee for the car which I was ok with. I didn't know the indoor attractions were closed and yes there was a good amount of outdoor attractions closed. There is still a TON of stuff to do. The outdoor rides were all open and so was the large wave pool. There were 2 slide areas open and kids pool the went up to a max of 3feet. This place is a deal and a steal. A lot of the other waterparks in the area offer the same types of attractions at 10times the cost. If you want to offer the kids a good time come here. The food was even a reasonable price and hot and fresh. I had 2 cocktails at about $11 each, a chicken tender basket and a pizza slice, dipping dots, and locker rental all for about $60. Next time I'm bringing everyone especially when they are fully open and staying on the grounds. I think my cousin spent about $60 as well so for 4 ppl and 6 hours of fun and food less than $200 :)

The water park is overpacked with all the people staying at the Mt. Olympus hotels that have admission to the parks included in their stay. Feel sorry for the other people paying to come to an overcrowded park. Not enough water slides and other things to do in the water park. The Theme park is poorly maintained. Hades 360 is the worst brain jostling coaster I’ve ever ridden. Others with me said ‘Never again!’ Pegasus is a beginners coaster and Cyclops is ok, but not impressive. Zeus was down all 4 days we were there. All coasters only have one train running and the ride ops are in no hurry to dispatch trains. Coasters are very neglected, need some focus on them to improve their ride experience. An additional train on each coaster would help big time. While the 5 different go cart rides were fun, almost every time there were 1-3 crashes in the unload station when inexperienced drivers hit the gas instead of the brake and crashed hard into people sitting there after the race was finished waiting for everybody to come in and park. Nothing was done to those people by the ride ops. If you enjoy people freely smoking in a ‘No smoking’ park and freely breaking the ‘No line cutting’ policy, the ‘no holding place in line for people to catch up to you’ policy. and the ‘if you get out of line you go to the back of the line’ policy , this is the place to be. The little security they have is young and afraid to do anything when notified of policy breakers. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT MT. OLYMPUS!!!!!

We bought tickets cheap ahead of time. For the prices I paid it was really a lot of fun. Hades 360 was very fast and very rough. Actually painful. My granddaughter loved it though. We didn't even bother riding the others. I didn't want to go home permanently injured lol. The go carts are terrible. They're all run down and terribly slow. One person can barely fit in one leg alone two. Now the water park is great. The wave pool is so much fun. My granddaughter and daughter loved the big wave coming at them. At was insane. We also rode some good slides. The food choices were above average as well. I would Definately do the water park again.

Do not stay at the hotels they're filthy. Besides being unclean there is also mold and roaches
When we reached to staff no one ever came or did anything about it. Plus the sheets had hair on them and stains on the pillowcase.

Please!!!!!!!! If I can keep one person from staying here I will be happy!!! I have stayed in nicer hotels on 8 mile in Detroit. The first dive hotel was 7A which stunk like mold so bad I called the lobby and requested a move within two minutes of being in there. They moved us to 10 which was not much better but didn’t stink.
Loud! Kids running around at 2 AM screaming. Expensive!! The Wilderness Lodge down the road is gorgeous, we went to check out the take flight ride there and were so jealous of that place, and it would have been 500$ cheaper to stay there 😱
Admission to the park is cheap, only 10$ so I advise staying anywhere else and just doing a day pass.
The park is way over crowded and when I asked why the slides were not open I was told it was due to short staffing.
While on the duck boat tour I did get to see the owner of Mt. Olympus hotels/parks house...impressive! Maybe he should stay one night in 7 A and see how he should spend some of his money!
GO ANYWHERE ELSE

My family of four had a great time at the rides and the water park. The water was colder than we thought it would be, so maybe check common temperatures before you travel? Maybe the water is warmer towards August?
The indoor water park was closed f(or renovations till Summer 2022), but we didn't know that before planning. We might have picked something else.

I felt like I was staying in a 1 star motel. No amenities. I slept so bad on their springy bed. First motel I’ve ever been to that didn’t offer a box of tissues. I had to run to Walgreens to get tissues. The rooms were dirty. Had to wipe down the walls with my clorox wipes. And the indoor pool area was horrifying. It was so small and packed. There was nowhere to sit. I had to sit on the floor. The photos are so deceiving. I picked this place based on the photos but when I actually got there I just felt this huge disappointment and really regretted that I already paid for three nights in advance. Made a huge mistake in picking this place for my kids but at least I’m a good actress and can put on a smiley face for them. Will just be using the hotel as a sleeping base and will do other things in the area.

We weren't a fan. The water park and theme park were both far smaller than I expected. The water park had more than the other. It was far too crowded. The theme park only had coasters and go karts for the most part. The bathrooms weren't kept up. I don't care to come back. Their parking layouts and getting out are horrible. The theming is all I had going for it. Security is horrible, too.

I brought my children, ages 13 & 14, for a little weekend getaway. They had a blast at the Waterpark and the indoor amusement park/arcade. There wasn't quite as much for the older kids at the indoor park, but enough to keep them entertained for a couple hours. The rooms (at least the building we were in) were mediocre. It was more of a slighty-improved motel room. Carpet was frayed and starting to come up in some places and I'm pretty sure there was no padding underneath. Everything looked old/used. The beds were not soft at all.. Definitely needs a room refresh! Everything was clean though. The main door into the building was unlocked, so that felt unsafe. I made sure the door was deadbolted and the upper door safety lock on as well. Overall, kids had a good time.

The good: park is very clean and has everything you’d need. Slides and rides are all really cool.
The bad: you’ll wait 1 to 2 hours for any large slide or big ride. Expect to do only a handful of slides or rides if you stay all day.
Also, they check all bags upon entry and will make you throw away any food — the food in the park itself is below average quality and extremely overpriced.
There is at least one ride in the theme park that cost extra, after we were told at the gate the wristband was all-access.
To give you an idea of price, for a family of 6, we spent $320 on day passes, $40 for parking, and around $100 on food and water.

Visited in December 2024. Very dirty water park. Unsanitary conditions.
Showers are not clean. Floors there are slippery as ice and covered with all sorts of nasty stuff such as hair, spilled shampoo, empty shampoo bottles, used towels, etc.
People are allowed to enter pool area in dirty street shoes, therefore places with high traffic covered with a mixture of mud with water. Visitors to the water park are forced to literally knead the mud with their bare feet because of this. Due to all of the above floors in the water park are slimy. Now think what is in that water in pools where you and your kids will swim. So disgusting.
The lack of understanding of basic hygiene rules among people is shocking, of course, but why the park doesn’t take care about cleanliness of their facilities is unclear.
There are also questions regarding the temperature of the water in the pools. It is very cold, which makes it very uncomfortable to stay in the pool for a long time. It was especially unpleasant to feel a stream of ice water in my back while sitting in the jacuzzi. Administration of the park should consider adjusting the water temperature in accordance with the season.
Overall I do not recommend this place.

I stayed at Mt. Olympus Wisc Dells for 3 nights and 4 days from June 11 to June 14th 2021. It was the worst experience of any Wiscinsin Dells Resort.
BAIT & SWITCH 100% NOTHING like the website or pictures.. Before I even seen the room I knew, If I cancelled I could NOT get a refund so I was stuck and they knew it..
When I asked to be moved because I had 2 disabled people with me because I wasn't happy with the distance to walk to the water park, I was told it would cost me 1000.00 more to upgrade or be moved. This was even before I seen the room. The water park was almost 2 miles 1.9 miles from the room everything is out of the way. You must drive everywhere.
It was the worst experience of any Wiscinsin Dells Resort. The bed was a queen for three people. The bed was about 14 years old or older so broken down you could feel the coils. I had to go purchase an air mattress. The room was very small with a bed and two chairs. The bathroom was a standup shower no tub, stained and dirty shower curtian. One role of toilet paper no tissue and no extra pillows or blankets.
The SO CALLED themed room which cost more had a painting of a beach front painted on the wall with a headboard painted ontop of that. The room was dirty, windows dirty, curtains were dusty and smelled like old stale cigarettes, and screens broken.
This is NO resort it is a bunch of brokedown old hotels painted the same and very outdated dirty and disgusting. The pool inside building #25 was closed windows blacked out.
There is no swimmining after the park closes. Very disappointing nothing for children to do after 7 p.m. or before 10 a.m. because the water park does NOT open until 10 and closes at 7p.m, as does the amusement park, which I believe is open until 8 p.m.
The inside pool located with in the gates of the water park is closed (under construction). The gameroom for kids is closed. They do have one in the lobby of the attached hotel but not worth visiting.
There are 39 builings spread over a distance of two miles good luck finding your building and your room if you have never stayed here..
The water park was so crowded because they sell outside tickets online for 10.00 a day or at the games, so you have all the surrounding hotels using the parks.
The lifeguards do nothing to control people in the water. I have a disabled child and she was pushed many times going up stairs knocked out of her tube in the lazy river she was scared to even go to the river if to many people were in there. My mother 74 years old was caught in between a bunch of teenagers rough housing in the so called lazy river throwing the tubes pushing people out of tubes and fighting with each other. She was bruised and injured during this and did not even go back into the water again. Nothing was done to keep people safe and children under some type of control
Not to mention: No security in the building where I stayed, someone kept propping the door open and the door jam to my room was broken had been kicked in before and did not close securely. Topping that was Kids running all night above our heads and Noone did anything.
I would NOT recommend this SO CALLED resort to anyone ever.
I couldn't post this without picking a star. I tried to give a zero but had to pick.

Bait & switch! Bought indoor water park tickets. 90% of the indoor park was closed. No where does it state that ! They refuse to refund the money! Plus the small area that was opened had 1000's of people....definately dangerous! Will never go there again! Buyer beware!

This resort has been disappointing overall. We knew we would be in a separate building, but it was unclear from our booking that the actual water park would be well over a mile away- and as other have said, the parking situation is ridiculously lacking.
Upon arriving at the water park, the signage is unclear and we we had to spend several minutes searching for the entrance (which had a sign pointed in the opposite direction than we needed to go.) Then, to safely store your wallet/keys, they want $15 for a rental lock. There weren’t lockers available anyway, so the point was moot.
When we checked in, our room had a TV that needed to be reprogrammed (a staff em ever had to come fix it,) and the phone line has been literally cut. It’s completely non functional. There are no carts to help you bring things into your room, and the walls are PAPER thin. There were children, and ADULTS, racing down the hallways and hollering until after 1AM. It’s a small thing, but for a water park, there’s also very few places to hang wet towels and swim suits. With my wife and I, and 3 kids in a room with 2 bunk beds. There’s a small coat rack with a few bars, 1 hook on the bathroom door and a small rack the clean towels rest on. The room is also missing basic amenities we have come to expect of other motels, like a coffee maker, and adequate plugs.
The staff have also been rude. We left our wristbands in our room (they are label as use for concessions, it’s not clear you need them to enter the park.) When we arrived, at first, the young woman guarding the door said too bad, we’d have to drive back to our room (over a mile away, and again- terrible parking.). She claimed she couldn’t help us. When we asked about replacing them, She said we had to go to the check in (a separate building,) and when asked where that was, she just stated it was in building 39- no help to folks here their first day- in the dark. She finally relented and replaced our wrist bands from the stack she had at her computer. She implied we may be charged for them. At no point did she try to look up our reservation, or offer to be helpful in anyway. When I called the front desk to ask if they were charging us, the first call I was hung up on. The second call, they assured me I had not been charged, but did not check our reservation.
The pool area is fine, but cold, we probably won’t stay here again.
On our second and final night, without warning, they closed the pool 20 minutes early. My kids were really disappointed and when we called the front desk they had no explanation. When I emailed, the response was that we could just come back the day we check out for free. They don't have changing rooms (only bathrooms that we could find) so with a 4 hour drive home, this wasn't feasible.

Easy check in. The staff worked hard to keep the attractions working. Need better directional signage in park.

Check in process went smoothly and we were able to check into our room before check in time because it was cleaned in a timely manner which was nice. Room was dated, carpets dirty, beds not the greatest. Lacked certain amenities such as tissue, conditioner, lotion and no bath mats. Indoor park is closed and the first 2 days we were there the weather was not comfortable for outdoor swimming so we did utilize the outdoor theme park for a bit and then went to little country bumpkin farm and petting zoo which I highly recommend for younger children, even out older children enjoyed it. Second day we bought day passes to Kalahari indoor water park and spent the day over there. Upon our third day the weather was still not ideal but we decided to use water park anyways which was PACKED. We didn't even attempt to go on any water slides or we would be standing in line for an hour to enjoy maybe 30 seconds of fun and then go and stand in line for another hour at all the other slides. Half of the outdoor park is closed so I'm assuming that's why it's so packed and busy. Not really worth the money.

Steer clear of this property! This is a bait and switch hotel. After numerous emails back and forth, they refuse to credit the one night we did not stay. When you check in you check in at a "center" which resembles the airport check-in. Mount Olympus has bought up all the properties on the strip and you don't know which property you will be at until you arrive. We were at building 21, which was a long ways away from the water and theme park. Not only was it not a walkable distance, but we had to turn right to go down a distance in order to turn around and go in the right direction. I have added pictures of what we reserved vs what we received. The unit we were in was dirty. The carpet in the hallway looked like it is the original carpet. There is no lobby in each building. No coffee maker, no frills whatsoever. The wi-fi was so bad the tv continually buffered. There was hardly any light in the room and the air conditioning unit was loud! Every time it turned on there was a huge clunk! We thought the thing was going to fall off the wall at some point. The hotel did "upgrade" us to Hotel Rome for the second night, however, the "special parking" we were supposed to have was full. After driving around for 10 minutes looking for a spot we decided to just leave. We went to another hotel in downtown and it was a fabulous place. Save your money! Go elsewhere and purchase tickets to the parks. You won't regret it. I regret not reading the reviews for this hotel.

Insanely over priced, over crowded, and quite lame. It’s like a severely downgraded version of 6 flags for the same price. We only went for the Trojan horse go carts, but it’s not in operation and apparently hasn’t been for years - the track is cement barricaded-off. It’s like a giant bait and switch advertisement at the front of the park. We paid $160, between tickets and parking (for a family of 4) just to enter, and our kids were too small for nearly all the rides. The water park was grossly over crowded, then we left.. to never return. The part that’s most sickening is with as expensive it is, the entire staff is international visa interns that they pay next to nothing to sponsor them. All that money you’re paying is for the person living in the garish white mansion on Lake Delton.

We love out stay here! We will surely go back. The staffs ate friendly and approachable and we truly enjoyed our stay we love it here

This was a picture taken in 2019 where my daughter is next to some goats. I didn't remember them even having goats until I saw this picture that I believe to be pretty awesome.🐐❤️ I went again this year and didn't see any goats. But I did see they've been remodeling and putting new attractions.

Let’s just say save your money and go to Disney! ALL the terrible reviews are correct! I wish I would have read them prior to going because I would NOT have gone! Nasty nasty nasty AND very dangerous, safety is a zero priority and people left to do what ever they want. Don’t go!

If your only interest is in entertaining your children, then you will like this place. Room was clean but so tiny it was more like an army barrack. No place to hang clothing, no table and chairs just beds. small refrigerator and a TV stand. Customer service was not great. They were unwilling to accommodate a child with special needs without charging extra. It was difficult to find check in given multiple buildings all over town with no clear direction. Kids enjoyed all the pools and amusement park which is why people go there.

Well I have waited a couple days too try and summarize our stay. First of all, most of the staff was very helpful. But the shady advertising on the website is why I’m giving a 1 star review. We have four small kids and the main reason I booked this resort was for the indoor water park, which I didn’t see any mention of, or warning to, that the indoor one would be closed for the season. If I had known that I would have booked elsewhere because the weather was nice but not nice enough to be swimming outside. Another reason to look elsewhere for a room would be if you don’t like the smell of weed. We stayed in building 10 and the stink of weed was intense to say the least. And then there were the small things like arguing neighbors at 530 Sunday morning, double charged for more day passes to the park, dirty floors, a couple staff making out in the elevator holding the door closed. But whatever. I guess I have wasted $700+ on worse things. I also tried contacting a manager today before writing this but no one was around I guess.

Had such a great time. Glad we went early and rode medusa first, glad we did. It is the best tube waterslide in the country. There are so many others. Two wave pools, one gives you the standard waves like most parks then the other is a white cap surge of a wave every 2 minutes. Parking is horrible if you want to visit for the day and not stay at the resort, unless you are only riding the coasters. But for the price it is an ALL DAY park. plenty of places to sit and relax between rides and water.

Our experience at Mount Olympus was less than satisfactory. Despite booking a stay there after seeing an advertisement promising newly renovated rooms, the reality was quite different. The room we were assigned was certainly not newly renovated. Upon entering, we were hit with an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of urine. The floors were damp and appeared unclean. We had to ventilate the room by opening the window due to the smell. Concerned for our son's hygiene, we advised him against walking barefoot on the floor. In an attempt to deal with the situation, my wife approached the front desk to request a different room. However, the alternative room provided was situated even further from the water park. Disappointed with the conditions and service, we opted to switch to another hotel. Shockingly, we were not refunded for our unsatisfactory stay, instead, being charged for the subpar room.

Our time at Mt Olympus was amazing! I have heard many negative reviews about staying at the villages but I was very impressed with everything!
1st- you go check in at the main building. This was very organized and the line moved very quickly and the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable.
2nd- the hotel room was clean and had no issues there.
3rd-our time at the park was amazing. Plenty of seating. And the lines werent too long for anything. Friendly staff.
4th- prices were reasonable for food and other items.
Want to go back very soon!

The hotel was dated, the beds were super uncomfortable, there was not even a coffee pot or hair dryer, and the walls were so thin we actually considered calling our vacation short due to 3 crabby kids who couldn't sleep due to the continuous and excessive noise from above us till almost midnight not to mention the smell of pot wafting through the hallways.
The Waterpark was Ok for my youngest, but had 3 slide and they were all big leaving nothing for the child who didn't want huge but was roo big for the kiddie section. Thankfully we were able to find some things around town to enjoy, but we will not return to a MT olympus hotel.

Rained first day and the indoor park was closed. the rooms were disgusting and too expensive, the lady when i book said we'd get free breakfast for the kids and have a pool in hotel and fitness center. none of that was true. there wasn't even a lobby there!! when i asked them if i got lied to and scammed, they replied yes I am sorry. Never waste money here, it smells there are dirty diapers everywhere and it's just gross!!

This review is about the waterpark and theme park only. I wrote a separate review for the accommodations.
First, the park really is amazingly big, I had no idea. It was my first time there. The pools are huge, and crowding was not a problem at all (at least on M, T, and W). I have COVID concerns, as I have underlying conditions, so I was happy I had plenty of room to move.
However, my daughter said the roller coasters were rough, so I decided not to ride them. I went for the go-carts instead. There is only one big problem with the go-carts, and that is when the ride is over and people are entering the carport, some people think it's cute to ram, at full speed, right into the people who are stopped. They do it on purpose, and the park employees do their best to slow them down. They are ignored. I'm 51. Someone rammed into me so hard, I ended up hurt. I didn't go on any more rides the rest of the day, because I didn't feel good. (This happened about 1 pm.) I didn't tell anyone, as I didn't notice it until later, when I went to eat. It hurt to swallow, and I took ibuprofen the rest of the evening, due to pain in my neck and shoulders. The next day, the pain was pretty much gone and I was able to swallow my breakfast without pain, as I expected. However, someone is going to get really hurt on these things, and they need to do something about it. The employee was angry at the person who rammed into me, but what can one employee really do? I've never, ever ridden on go-karts that don't have an automatic braking system that slows all karts down as they come to the end of the ride. I can't imagine why they don't have those here. Relying on people to do the right thing and brake upon entering the carport does not work.
Other than that, we had a pretty good time. The pools were amazing, we enjoyed visiting the shops, munching on chips and cheese and having a drink. We'll probably be back, but I won't be going on the go-carts. I don't want to end up with an injury that requires more than ibuprofen to fix it.

Great experience, Staff is helpful, water is great, my family and i enjoyed this trip very much. Would definitely recommend.

Booked this “resort” because of their online reviews. I have no clue how they have such a high rating because this place was disgusting! We came here for spring break, and the main entrance was a disaster. The room was the most disgusting hotel room I’ve ever been in. This doesn’t have a water park — there are two underrated slides. We stayed ONE HOUR before checking out and getting a full refund! Went to Great Wolf Lodge where we should have booked to begin with. **DO NOT GO HERE!!** No clue how this place has good online reviews. I cannot express how horrible of an experience we had — and hope this helps anyone who isn’t from here that is relying on reviews to dictate their trip/experience. Such a disappointment.

They take great care of their facilities and their visitors. We had a great time in a safe environment meant for the whole family. We enjoyed a whole day of fun, food and family. Thank you!

We visited on a Sunday mid-December for just the day. We were there to see my 21 year old neice and her boyfriend who were visiting for Christmas, and my brother and 19 year old nephew who live in Milwaukee. As 50-something’s who are not fans of screaming kids and crowds, we were skeptical, but found it to be a fun day out of the cold. The kids enjoyed everything, and so did we! I especially enjoyed the hot tub :-) Yes it is loud and wet and the food choices are not impressive - but perfect for kids.
We paid zero for parking. We just drove in and parked and nobody was asking for payment for anything, so I don’t know if it is just because it is off-season or what but that was nice. They do charge for towels, so keep that in mind. There are not really changing rooms, just bathrooms. So, be aware! Bring shoes to walk in the bathroom with I’d say. Kinda gross there but we had thought of this.
We had never been to the Dells before and peeked around as we drove through town - it looked like a lot of fun things to do! Might even visit again in the future and look at some other things to do when it is nicer out. In the end, we’d go again once a year maybe, to see my nephew have fun on the slides and have some fun family time.

Waterpark is fine but water and indoor temperature is cold. Kids did the climbing wall with no safety instructions at all. Hotel is a nightmare! Fire alarm went off one night, shower water was not warm at all, heater in the room did not work, room was 60 degrees! Blankets were paper thin, kids playing football in the hallway at midnight. Room was visibly dirty upon arrival, asked for room supplies which we never received. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This place is dingy and disgusting looking. The window is so fifty you can barely see out of it. The TV is so small and that's ashame we paid all this money for this room to look at this TV not to mention the remote control has no back on it. They only gave us 2 rolls of tisses it's 7 of us in this nasty looking room. I'm so disappointed and ready to go. I feel like y'all are bias towards us when it comes to these TV, install cameras if you think someone will steal these small I can't hardly see televisions!!!!

Was charge 105.68 twice trying to a refund and there trying to convince me and my bank that it’s pending when clearly my end says posted and my bank confirms that there telling me wait 2-5 business days and call them back just blew

This place has cockroaches, they offered a refund of one night, not including the resort fees. The rooms were old & outdated. The beds are mats. Don’t waste your money here !

There is nothing on their Home page or reservation page to inform the consumer that their indoor water park is closed, only a small statement under "park hours". My daughter has Sickle Cell Anemia and can only swim in an indoor heated pool. The water in the outside pool was freezing. Such a huge disappointment and a waste of money. Two weeks later and still no reply from the Management.

My family and I have been attending Mt. Olympus for approximately 10 years straight now. Every June when school gets out we plan our trip. We’ve had good and bad years with accommodations and experiences. Overall, our stays have been positive. Thank you Mt. Olympus!

It was horrible. The rudeness was non stop! The pools were filthy and over crowded. You can't sleep.

We stayed at the Chula vista this year and they did not have enough out door entertainment or a large enough waterpark for our group so we paid to spend the day at the Mt olympus theme and water park instead. It was a great choice and our yearly trip will definitely be booked at Mt Olympus again.

Do let people know that your indoor park area is closed before you promote 50%off rooms! Also a good part of the park which is the slides for smaller kids were closed as well! Paid 1000 dollars in advance with no money back and if we did not book and pay the suite it would be 2000 dollars which would have been better cause even though we traveled 3 hrs we would have had those 1000 dollars to go elsewhere!

We got there at 5:37pm They change our room from building 1 to 23 and gave us the wrong key card and seem to be a very small area. So we have to go all the way back to the check in get another that was at 542pm. So we went to that room and saw it wasn't what I paid for as well. It's was 2 queen size beds for 5 ppl. We paid for one queen and a bunk bed. So at 7:12pm they finally gave us another room. I ask if someone can bring our cards because we were tired of loading kids and stuff up. So we sat in the hall for 45 mins because by 8pm someone came in to let us in the 3rd room. I call customer service and ask her if we could get another night due to the fact of their employees screw up and how we sat outside of a hall way waiting. All she said was that she would give us 20 percent off for the next night if we stay there. I try to explain that we came to enjoy our night there as well and by the time we settle in place was close and my kids haven't ate dinner yet. She said we were upsetting her, but how about you got though what we been though. Driving 3 hours to just go to bed.. she said she wouldn't give us another room again and that our times and money wasted was her fault nor would help us out even with food... worst experience ever.

I don’t have any reviews for the waterpark itself because we came during the time or it was not that busy so I did not notice how horrible it could be if there was twice as many people. Mount Olympus has purchased damn near every motel nearby so you can imagine if every room was filled how busy the waterpark would be! My review is about the room that we were in building one at the main Mount Olympus area. These rooms really need to be updated. We have the standard double queen room and by that I mean, we got two queen beds, a bathroom and a television… There was not even a box of Kleenex in this room, there were no USB ports anywhere to be found. There was not a piece of paper or a pen so I could write down something. I called the front desk to see about getting a USB port. They were horrible on the phone not helpful at all, I will never be back and I was bringing our family next year up to the Dell’s and we will not be staying at this resort , they really need to get their act together updating these rooms because I feel like I went back to the dark ages. They should be ashamed! Instead of building 145 foot waterslide maybe they should’ve been updating the rooms!

This place used to advertise 4 parks for the price of one and now you only get the outdoor parks. While the go carts and the roller coasters are fun be prepared for really long wait times for the roller coasters as they only run 1 train on each coaster when they could easily run 2. The new waterslide is pretty fun however it is disappointing that they close the rest of the indoor park down during the summer as they used to keep it open all year around and unlike what other reviewers say it does state it on their web site. As far as the outdoor water park goes the big wave pool is amazing and the slides are really fun. However is is disappointing to see they demolished the upper water park which got rid of over half of their outdoor water slides making for extremely long lines on the few out door slides they have left. One other disapproving thing about the outdoor water park is if you go on one of the slides that used the big 4 person rafts be prepared to wait as they don't have nearly enough rafts. We go to Noah's Ark at least once a year and on their slides that take the big rafts the conveyor is constantly stopping because they have so many rafts. At Mt. Olympus they have so few that you are constantly waiting for tubes to come to the top and the lines take forever. This park isn't bad but be prepared to wait in lines that take twice as long to go through than any other park. The only lines that move at a good pace are the go carts as they have a good system for that.

This was so much fun! Half the park was closed due to pandemic but it was still worth the trip. We spent so much time at the wave pool! The park was very clean. Something for everyone.

I will begin with the check in process, which was very smooth, and coherent with COVID guidelines. There were shields and masks worn, and I appreciated the ability to check in "off-site" as I felt this was a great way to have crowd control and prevent crowding in a busy lobby with hundreds of people checking in. Almost right away though our family was disappointed when the "gimmick" of "Tubing, Skiing & Snowboarding Included Free with your Stay!" which was just that...a gimmick. We wanted to book our time right away for family tubing, and were given passes to do so on our phones, to find that the entire weekend was booked for any outdoor family activities. This was highly disappointing as we have 4 kids ALL excited to do this part of the included activities with our stay. Not to mention the additional luggage we had to participate in these activities that we should have just left at home. After completing check in and being bummed about Christmas Mountain, a very friendly time share sales person was kind enough to offer us tubing...SHE could get us in this weekend AND throw in a bunch of free things for committing to a time share......again, nice ploy Mt.Olympus.
After getting back in our vehicle to drive to our "resort room" (which was boasted as being 2-5 minutes from the park), we drive past the indoor waterpark to an off-site building. An old motel/hotel that was very obviously run down and now a Mt Olympus property, which they slapped a sign on and called "Mt.Olympus Building 21". I am then realizing that this 2-5 minutes advertised on the website is actually a DRIVE, where as we were tricked into thinking this would be a walk from our room....like a RESORT, such as ALL OF THE OTHER BIG NAME "RESORTS" IN THE WISCONSIN DELLS (ex. Great Wolf, Kalahari, Wilderness).
Upon entering the hotel/motel, off site property, it is very clear there is barely any staff on site. It smells the instant you walk in, the carpet is old and run down, and I can tell right away this is not going to be the pleasant and exciting family "resort" vacation we had hoped for. Entering our room, it met my expectations..... dirty. We had to clean the counters and wipe everything down before we could even sit any of our luggage down. I wanted to call the "front desk" if there even was one, and our room phone wasn't even working. The beds were 20+ years old with springs that jabbed into my back and made a creaking noise with every move, the mattresses on the so-called bunks were plywood with a thin camping mattress made of plastic which a sheet wouldn't even stay on. The towels in the bathroom were old, thin and stained. The floors were dirty with confetti from the last stay I assume. I was appalled, but tried to make the best of this for our children. My husband and I decided to walk to the actual lobby of the hotel, to ask for fresh towels, extra blankets (as the beds had NO comforters and only a thin sheet and blanket), and extra pillows, as two of them were completely flat like a pancake. Not surprised, but there is NO LOBBY. There is no phone to even call someone to come to this property. Back in our room, the phone number on the back of the door is disconnected, and when we contacted the phone number on the "fast check out", it kept playing in a loop. This is completely unacceptable. In the evening, the lack of staff is apparent, as there is absolutely no control over what is happening in this so-called resort. Kids screaming and running up and down the halls at all hours of the night. The hotel may as well have just been an unsupervised frat house/day care.
Again, trying to make the best of this for our excited family, we decide to go to the indoor water park. My expectations have significantly declined at this point, but I am trying to find the silver lining in all of this, and expecting a really nice and relaxing time at the park. There we NO cars in our hotel/motel parking lot, so we assumed that at least Mt Olympus was potentially adherent to COVID safety protocols among this pandemic, and capacity will be lessened. This couldn't have been more wrong. On our "2-5 minutes" from the park drive, I realize that Mt Olympus has actually bought up most of the "strip" and now has MANY buildings, which were beginning to fill up as the day went on. And now I see on their website...they boast 1600+ rooms, and I have a very good feeling that they do NOT care to limit anything as they advertise their "50% off rate resort rooms", with EVERYTHING included....which by the way is tubing, skiing, snowboarding, indoor theme park, indoor waterpark....again, good gimmick when you cannot participate in HALF of those FREE amenities.
Back to our waterpark experience......the place was absolutely OVER capacity. There was not a seat ANYWHERE, and there was NO one wearing masks and NO one enforcing this either. Kids were running around like crazy, barley a lifeguard or responsible employee in site. While spending time in the park we experienced watching a fight break out, as well as 1 of my children cut their finger, and another sliced their heel due to poor upkeep with the maintenance of the pools and attractions inside the park. You can absolutely tell that there has been no cleaning nor upkeep of this facility. I would be curious to know when the last time this place has been inspected and by whom.
After reading multiple reviews while laying wide awake the first night in our "resort room" due to noise, screaming, bouncing balls, etc, I truly do not understand how you have not done anything to resolve these issues. I am not the only person to report on the negligence and deceit going on with this so-called Wisconsin Dells resort. It has such potential to be an amazing place, but all of the above things that I mentioned are eventually going to catch up with this resort and put it under. The number of complaints is absurd, and the lack of the expected experience due to false advertising is incredible. Mt.Olympus cannot be reputable based on all of these poor experiences, and I would not even want to imagine what this place is like during the summer. months. I would hope they take care of the outdoor theme park better than they take care of their "resort rooms", their patrons, guests and customers, indoor park, and facilities.
I am requesting a full refund due to a terrible and very falsely advertised family vacation that one would expect from the website and promotional emails. I have continued to this day to receive emails boasting of all that is included with this "Water and Theme park resort" which is absolutely false. This place needs a deep cleaning, a better trained staff and a completely better overall Dells experience. If I would have known ANY of this prior, I would have NEVER taken my family here, and we would have spent the additional money to book elsewhere and have the "resort experience" we thought we were getting by booking with your company.

Never ever will I stay at the resort hotel offsite location ..it was definitely not worth the money.

OMG I had a BAD time there First 20 bucks to Park & the staff Member has a bad way of feeling us welcome Same with the ticket Person ALL BAD STAFF

The room was large, but just didn't feel cozy and was definitely a bare bones hotel room without any extras. It worked for a one-night stay, for sure, but for the price, I would've liked something a little more. The other patrons were also not the most respectful; shouting outside our room and slamming doors at midnight. Kids allowed to run without supervision near the hotel rooms, again making a lot of noise at midnight.
The entire resort is HUGE! It's quite expansive, so you'll likely have to drive from the check-in building to your room and to the park. The theme park doesn't have a huge number or variety of rides; lots of go karts and roller coasters, but perfect for kids who want to do a little of that stuff without spending their entire day at a theme park. The water park had a lot of attractions, and though it was very busy, it was still enjoyable. Because the public (not just resort guests) can visit the parks, it does make it even busier than other resorts in the Dells. The lines for some of the water slides had a 90+ minute wait, so we ended up skipping quite a few of those because of the time we had available to play. If you are considering buying tickets just for the theme park and staying elsewhere, I would strongly suggest you just stay at this resort. The cost of a room (which includes your admission to the parks) is cheaper in most cases than the cost of tickets + the parking fee of $30/vehicle. You get 2 full days at the park for a one-night stay at the hotel (the day of check-in and the day of check-out). Though you can't bring coolers into the park, you can bring your own water bottle and there is food available that isn't too pricey. You could always just leave the cooler in your car, eat in the parking lot and come back into the park when you're done. Because there are so many people, I would also recommend renting one of their on-site lockers. I believe most people are there just to have a good time, but you never know when an opportunist might take a chance at the cell phone you left unattended. We had a great time and would absolutely consider staying here again in the future.

We just left Mt. Olympus waterpark & we read reviews minutes before we checked in to Hotel Rome. We usually stay at Wilderness Resort but we wanted to try something new. Mt. OLYMPUS was cheaper & the rotating water slide attracted us to this place. My first impression walking in was that it seemed a little dated & carpets were messy. We took the stairs the whole stay because the elevator looked tiny & a little dirty. I will say the rooms were very clean & I liked the fact that they weren't carpeted. The staff were friendly & we loved the Night of Lights walk through :& how little uo the park was even after Christmas. They had a New Year's party at the indoor theme park which the kids loved with DJ and what a balloon drop & party it was! Thar was fun. Kids loved the indoor slides & overall we were satisfied but I feel the BAD reviews about this resort would make people not even try it out. Although it was packed . I would recommend more attention to carpets in hallways & rugs & clean up that elevator because first impressions are everything. I know it's hard with that many people to keep everything tidy but carpets clean are everything. Also at that indoor theme park the heat could be turned down a little. It was way too warm in there. Stuffy air.
Overall we were satisfied

We have stayed here in the past with family, and it has been a great experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case when we went with our family from July 30th to August 3rd. We booked cabins, just as we have in the past. This was a multi-family event, like it has been in the past. We all requested that our cabins be next to each other, which was never an issue in the past, when we called in and they said it would be fine. When we arrived, our cabins were nowhere near each other. When we called the front desk, they were very rude and unwilling to accommodate us, despite the fact that most of the cabins were unoccupied and it would have been easy to resolve the issue. Our first set of bracelets worked to get us into the room, and then all of a sudden, they stopped working. When we called them about that, they wanted us to drive back to the front desk to get new ones, to which we said No, you need to bring us new ones, as our keys to the vehicle were in the room. It took them almost an hour to bring us new bracelets, as we were sitting outside the cabin waiting on them. After we got the new bracelets, only two of them were able to charge to the room at the park. When the others tried to charge the people at the park would tell them "your not checked in" which is dumb because you only get the bracelets if you are checked in. We stayed in the cabins with a bathroom, ours was not cleaned well, it had cob webs everywhere, dust and dirt all along the baseboards. We are very disappointed, would not recommend to anyone at this point and probably will find a new place to stay going forward.
The park was ok for the most part. The times online that it says the water park closes are not accurate, as it closes an hour earlier than stated online. Additionally, rides and go-karts were closing before their allotted hours, and the lines weren't even long for some of them.
For the price you pay to stay and go there, the experience was definitely not worth it.

Kids had a great time! The park was very clean. All rides were open. Attentive staff and lifeguards. The food was reasonably priced too.

We (my 13 and 17 year old teens and myself) came for the water park and rides. I expected to enjoy the water park all Friday and the rides all of Saturday.
We lasted about 4 hours each day (arriving at opening, 10am). It didn’t live up to the hype.
I purchased discounted tickets online ahead of time ($25 each). Friday I paid $15 to park, and Saturday it was $28 (yes, it cost more to park than enter!). We grabbed lunch Friday: a chicken finger basket, a burger basket, and nachos, with two sodas, cost $57.
Lines weren’t too long and it was clean. But it’s a day, max, for everything. And it is expensive!

We purchased tickets to the theme park which were advertised for $6 a ticket. We checked the day of going to see if any rides were closed and nothing was noted being closed on their website. When we got there the only attraction open out side was the Hermès Go carts. Not a single roller coaster was running. I called to see why this was and I was laughed at and told that was the only ride management chose to open. I had a very disappointed child and spent $18 for three people to ride go carts. Everything was also in very poor repair. Very bad experience especially being laughed at by customer service. We will never be back!

I decided to take my family to the dells for spring break our room was ok. But it smelled like marijuana through the halls. I had my two young kids as well as my grandson with so it was not ok. The beds were very uncomfortable. The indoor water park was packed and disappointing. Not worth the amount of money I paid out for the room. There were people in the hallways all hours of the night and banging all night. The theme park was ok but I would not recommend the water park to anyone to many people. The one pool that was warm was over packed the other pool was ice cold I won't be going back.. only 2 waterslides which were not worth the stay.

First of all, half of the outdoor attractions were closed and all of the indoor attractions were closed (COVID). Parking is atrocious for handicap accessible and accessibility in the parks, you had to hike up and down a steep hill to get to the water park the first day because the water park parking entrance was closed. The Pool of Delphi was AMAZING! Atlantis was fun with the water slides. BEWARE OF POSEIDON'S RAGE!!! We didn't go very far into that wave pool, like less than knee deep, and the wave flew all of my family back on our backs, and I sprained my knee pretty bad! (I don't know what I did to anger Poseidon, but he really took his rage out on me! lol) The wave was a lot higher than 9 feet! It was hitting the lifeguard tower! Be forewarned in the water parks, the water is very chilly, they do not heat the water in the pools and slides.

Great park with water rides and roller coasters. Some things were closed down. Only complaint was room was off site.

What is up with that giant hill you have to walk up and down to get in and out??? Something needs to be done about that! Some people can't do that!

Do not stay at hotel buy the day pass. We booked with hotel to be sure it was handicap room and near waterpark. Checkin to room building is 10 min offsite first room is not handicapped and have to start over at offsite check-in to start over for correct room. Get new room unload again with no cart and go to waterpark to find all in and outdoor pools close at 7pm which we hoped a normal pool would still be open so we go to go carts. Then go to hotel to sleep and find that they open doors across the hall and they start laundry in an industrial laundromat and I ask twice to close doors and nope they keep them open. Call front desk to get told they can send security to talk to me I said no make them stop talking and bringing in carts quiet time started at 10 pm the noise went on until 1 am. I went to check-in bldg offsite in morning to get 40 bucks for my stay to use at park. I said it is $375 a night to sleep here and we can’t sleep as you are carting cleaning carts in all night. No answer to that. She said this is all I can do. Stay away from hotel waterpark is ok just not enough restrooms in park.

Rides were super fun especially the water park rides. The coasters are great but I wouldn't go on the smaller ones (shakes you very aggressively).
Costs as usual on anything in the park is a bit absurd. Went to hades bbq and tried to get bbq pork fries was told the price for a roughly 3in by 5in basket was 16.50$. The sign read 11.50$ employee there failed to understand I was asking why the prices were different.

Water park was great. Lots of water slides for all likes, small for the littles, all the way up to adult fun! A large wave pool and a smaller one. A lazy river and a faster river. Indoor and outdoor fun. Lots to do. I would recommend the day pass, get there early and spend all day. They do have a parking lot closer to the water park, it's a bit difficult to get to (go between Mt Olypmus hotel main building and Rome hotel, follow the road behind and around). Lots of walking involved so wear water shoes, pavement can be hot. 10/10 recommend

Besides only having about 6 outdoor water rides and the indoor being closed the staff could give two cents about anything.
First we were let in without them really checking our babes. We even missed the wrist band area and walked right in never showing our tickets. We only noticed ourselves and went back for them, but no one checked on any rides.
Secondly we had the worst experience on the go karts that left five of my family members injured. There were two teens that were pushing the gas even before they let us out and staff said nothing. Then near the end I saw the two teens stopped at the top of the hill smiling at each other like they were going to do something. I told the staff on the way down and they did nothings. As we parked the two teens came barreling down and hit the row of cars so hard the entire wait line started yelling at them. The staff did nothing. My 67 year old mother went up and told them they hurt her neck and they laughed at her. My cop brother confronted them about his young daughter, they laughed. We told the staff, they did nothing. We went all over the park asking for help and no one knew how to handle it at all. We saw those boys multiple times throughout the day going on rides and making faces at us as we passed by with small children. The staff here are awful.

I know Covid wreaked hell on the travel business. I further understand that everyone is hurting for employees. I get it. I also get that to make the most money, a Hotel Tycoon sees the value in taking old run-down hotels and branding them with the company name. But, those old run-down "hotels" AKA buildings without staff with "resort-themed rooms, because there is a picture of your branding on the wall" Are not what most people want to stay in when on vacation. When an 8-year-old child, who never gets to stay in a hotel is disappointed in the sleeping quarters, you know you have been bamboozled. Please do not advertise as a "resort themed room". Please be honest and say "you will be in a no-frills room with a bed, no dresser or tv large enough to see from your bed, and no staff to assist you. Explain that it is a bare bottom place to stay for someone who is not expecting luxury and just wants to sleep. That would be pretty honest. And please be upfront and tell people when they are booking that not all attractions are open. You can dress it up by saying "you will still have plenty of fun on rides such as our roller coasters and wave pools." Mt. Olympus will make more money with less attrition if they are honest. Mt. Olympus will make less money for being dishonest because there will be high attrition. Social Media can destroy a business. You want high retention, not high attrition. The outdoor parks are great on hot days. Next time I will just buy a park ticket. I hope you take feedback into consideration and change things. I want Mount Olympus to do well.

Horrible!! Half the water park is closed. If you have children over age 5 do NOT visit this park. We paid WAY too much money for my teenagers to do 3 water slides and be bored. Zero stars!!

Would be a great place for 7 to 12 year Olds. My 3 year old could do 2 things. Our teenage nephews didn't like much. I think a lot of our issues were due to under staffing. The lazy river was chaos people jumping in and out of the walls keeping "their" tubes...atleast half the tubes were out on the shores of the lazy river... their Cabanas that were extremely pricey didn't even come with water or snacks something that should be free. For the number two ranked park in town it was a huge let down. We are from StL and the two big water parks in town ragging rivers and six flags are in every way superior.

First off they say to check the website hours to see what is open in the park on which days but they don’t actually tell you what is open just “limited outdoor attractions”. Limited outdoor attractions meaning one roller coaster, not Hades or Zeus, and one go-kart track which is the Trojan horse but you can no longer go through the horse. I’ve been here around 10-12 times and it’s progressively getting worse. My memories as a kid are tainted since they’ve gotten so big and don’t care about the guest experience. The new slide at the indoor water park is fun and worth going to, that was the one saving grace to the trip.
Also they bought up all these hotels but you can’t pick which hotel you get to stay in. I wouldn’t stay at Mt. Olympus again unless I get to stay at the hotel attached to the water park. The offsite hotels are ok but no elevator and just a pain to travel back and forth especially with young kids. They should let you pay more to get the hotel you want.
Truly deserves 1 Star
Trip Advice? Stay somewhere else. I'm so upset as regardless of the numerous customer complaints on here being "taken into consideration for future," it's clear that NOTHING has been done. My family is currently on night two after trying to celebrate my oldest son's birthday this weekend. What a waste! I was told by two employees before coming here that there was a fitness room. After arriving to our grubby, insecure (open doors) facility, we find out it's not at our building. They find it closer to the waterpark and are told they don't have the right bracelet! Besides having an unclean room [dead flies on ground and nail clippings on night stand- Gross! (we were told there were no other rooms with our room arrangement left)] and talking to multiple agents on the phone that obviously hadn't written ANYTHING down, we were still trying to make the best of the situation. I knew AFTER the booking (50% off ending gimmick) that the indoor park was closed due to renovations, but nowhere did it say anything about the outdoor park having only half of its rides/attractions open as well. I had to find that out after arriving. Maybe, instead of worrying about expanding their dive hotel/motel chain, they could invest in a quality place with qualified employees that actually care about their patrons. One thing that would go a long way is customer service and a FREE shuttle from your properties to the parks. All in all, as it stands, it's clear that Mount Olympus does not care about its customers and just wants to keep diving as many people through the door as it can. As I sit here using my own data up (no wifi which is also falsely advertised), I can hear a band and huge ruckus going on like I'm right next to it. It's 11PM and I'm just so disappointed...
