I come here all the time, it does change around and they hold beautiful orchid show and more. This place has a very nice restaurant on the premises and hold tours. I did purchase a year round pass, because I believe they have much to offer throughout the year. You can take beautiful walks throughout the gardens and long walks around the ponds. members also get to enter an hour earlier.

This place is a treasure! A great place to learn about the world and plants around us. Do not miss this!

The Naples Botanical garden needs no recommendation from me. It’s fabulous. Not the largest I have visited but interesting and varied. Parking is close by and easy and overall a well run facility.

The NBG is worth seeing if you are visiting Naples in Florida. It is somewhat small compared to many other Botanical Gardens but well maintained and full of colors. Many artists find it to be a perfect place to paint the colors of Florida.

The Botanical Gardens are an amazing place to spend some time, walking around, and enjoying the beauty that Mother Nature offers.

I took my parents to these beautiful gardens when they came to visit and my dad, that loves all flowers and plants and he's a gardener himself, was in awe of the gorgeous orchids. The whole place is amazing and well taken care of.

It's a very good botanical garden with good selection of plants and well maintained grounds. There was a small Frida Kahlo exhibit there when we visited.

We love going to the Botanical Garden, especially with our children. They love exploring the paths and grabbing a snack or meal in the restaurant before we head out. It is well worth the money and the time!

The Garden is celebrating it's 10th anniversary and had just reopened this week after closing for Covid-19. I had visited the Garden just after it opened and although the potential was evident then, It is spectular now. Not all areas are open and the parts are one way to afford separation. Allow a couple of hours and don't miss the outdoor restaurant and gift shop

We spent a relaxing morning walking through the gardens and around the lake. They have a beautiful section with orchids that was very pretty. They did have timed entry so buy your tickets ahead of time, although we were able to purchase on our phone when we got there and only had to wait 15 minutes.

On a very pleasant late November Sunday,I spent a delightful day savoring the fine plants and ambience of the Naples Botanical Garden.Due to the Corona Virus in Naples ,a few parts of the garden were closed. It had an impressive collection of plants associated with the African country of Madagascar such as;Alluaudia(a source of food for lemurs),Madagascar Palm Tree, and the Baobab Tree, among others.I especially relished the Brazilian Garden which featured Santa Cruz Water Lilies and a delightful mosaic by Roberto Burle Marx,a very prominent Brazilian Landscape Architect.I liked its collection of orchids very much.
At this time, there is a fine group of works by Steve Tobin,an American Contemporary Artist.I especially liked Tobin's"Head in the Clouds","Bamboo',and "Steel Root"..
I walked around its nature trails featuring Florida plants and I liked the way the staff has organized this botanical garden. The Fogg Cafe on its premises has a special charm and great views of the garden's beautiful grounds.

My wife and I spent a few hours walking around the gardens and were impressed by the variety of flora, the architecture, sculptures and food.

He visited Naples Botanic Garden with friends and decided to take a tour. Our host was Lillie and we were very lucky to have her. She was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly, and very patient. It was a pure pleasure to listen to her. Thank you very much Lillie!

Love the garden, especially on dog days.
Only wish they wouldn’t glorify communists like Frida Kahlo😒

This was our second visit to the Garden. Our first visit was fabulous! Bought our tickets online for a Sunday visit. We had a nice lunch at the Fogg Cafe after we walked the beautiful gardens. There were many people visiting with their dogs, even after the lunch hour, well into the late afternoon.
Today we wanted to go see the Clyde Butcher photo exhibit and decided to take our 13 year old 9 lb little old dog in his stroller. We stood in line to purchase a membership with a lovely girl who said nothing about it being after the time we were allowed to enter with our dog. After we purchased our membership, we turned to corner to enter the garden and a woman came out of her booth to tell us we aren’t allowed to enter with our dog after 11AM on Sundays. There was another couple in line next to us with a big black lab on a leash who I said had their dog with them and were also purchasing tickets to enter. The woman insisted we could not go in and she said “Well, they’re not in yet”, I guess meaning she was planning on stopping them as well. Now who lets people buy tickets knowing they have their dog with them and then proceed to tell them they cannot enter after they buy their tickets.
That was a horrible thing to allow patrons to stand in line and purchase tickets as she watched us do and then stop us to tell us we couldn’t enter with our dog. We will be contacting management to let them know this was an extremely unprofessional way to treat patrons.
After we got back out to our car, we waited to see if the other couple with the black lab were also told they couldn’t bring their dog in. We waited a good ten minutes and did not see them leaving the Garden. So, I’m not sure what the problem was with us in particular, but as far as we know, the other patrons were not being stopped after purchasing tickets/membership from entering with their dog.

We loved it. The sophistication of the layout and the sheer beauty made this an amazing place to spend 2 hours. Great placement of shade and rest benches.

A garden for the whole family! Our grandsons love the children’s area so much we can sit watch them enjoy the fountain run through the water time.

We enjoyed our trip to the botanical garden although it rained heavy at times. There was quite a variety of flowers including orchids.

Plants and trees were well cared for and overall presented well. All the trees and major shrubs were labeled. But, only a few of the smaller plants, flowers, and such were labeled. I felt like the gardens really missed their mark on labeling.
There's no interactive map or app to follow around the gardens. The large maps are posted in about 6 places on the 170-acre site. It is very easy to get lost or sidetracked while looking at the gardens - needs better signage delineating how to get around & back out

Visited with family and we had a good time. We were there for about 2 hours. In the beginning, we had made a right turn, which initially had me worried because alot of the trails to the right were undergoing restoration so it did not feel like there was much to see. Some of those paths are just sand so they can be difficult to walk or to take someone in a wheelchair. As you go around the lake, again, not much to see except the wetlands (there was a gator in the lake and two bird towers you can view from about 50 yards away). I feel like there could be more placards to read; I think there might've been an app to download the audiotour but we didn't do that. One thing that I did think was cool is that they had a number you could text a question to and they would reply with an answer. Everything closer to the entrance as filled with plenty more interesting flowers and plants, although my family and I wondered if they just leave most of the plants to grow on their own once planted because there were some areas that looked overgrown, unkept, or the plants were dying. It might have been because it's nearing summer and the plants need rain / water. Perhaps next time we should visit in the wintertime. There is a cafe and small museum as well. The gift shop is full of super cute things!!! Overall, I still had a good time, but will try again during winter to see if things are different!

Beautiful even in February. Large, lovely place to wander around. Nice variety of plants, trees and flowers...even an area of herbs.

The gardens are beautiful and incredibly well designed. The varieties of plants are amazing. Allow 2-4 hours to see everything.

Stopped on a whim and so glad we did. Gardens and exhibits were beautiful
Lucky to have Adrienne as our guide through the Mexican Plants tour. She was amazing. Highly recommend

The Naples Botanical Garden is beautiful!!!! Definitely recommend going here. There is a nice path for a scenic walk around the lake. There are so many beautiful plants and flowers.

We went for the Johnsonville Festival of Lights. Very beautiful to see all the plants lit up in different colors. Lots and lots of lights. The reserved time slots help to make this a very enjoyable experience. The only drawback is the price, $34.50 is little hefty for type of presentation.
.

Beautiful gardens. The walking tour is a great way to se the garden. Highly recommend spending a couple of hours here. The hydration stations are a nice touch.

We walked into the Garden and were awed by a wall of flowers. This is the only place we were awed. We walked and walked and saw nothing but wild unmaintained growth. When we approached the ticket agents to tell them how dissatisfied we were, they blamed the hurricane. If the hurricane is the reason for it looking so colourless and pitiful, close the garden and clean it up. There are better Botanical Gardens throughout Naples just in front of peoples homes. Don't waste your money.

Our first experience for the Winter Lights was incredible. We enjoyed it so much we decided to become year round members.

I go to gardens across the world. While I am glad I went once, I would not return for a few years, to give them time to improve. Some benches along the lakeside are one improvement I would hope for eventually.
This is a fine beginning, though, so lower your expectations and enjoy the few hours. It has lots of local greenery, bromeliads and cacti. and little special, except one massive sculpture created of willow branches and their lovely water-lily garden. While they may do excellent educational programs, we were there for photography of their flowers and wild birds, mainly. There were not many, though they were working hard with many volunteers and several reclamation projects to improve what they have. Most of the other people were there to walk their dogs along the lakeside. Their bird tower is a wheel-chair-accessible observation point. Actually, I saw more wild birds along the busy roads in the water ponds between the access points on the circuit there and back. Of course, it is impossible to stop to photograph those.

Even if you are not into gardening, this place is absolutely stunning! The grounds are immaculate and very well laid out. The walkways are stunning.
We went early in the morning, but it was hot and humid. I think if you are here in the Winter, you could easily spend the entire day. It's very peaceful and quiet. Most of the plants are labeled, so you know what you are looking at. There are great sections: Japanese gardens, native Florida, water, succulents.

The Gardens are beautiful! Stepping off the busy streets of Naples into this garden makes you feel you have been transported to a scene from Alice in Wonderland. The garden is very well maintained and staff/volunteers are very friendly and helpful. They seem to have many events year round worth checking out. We enjoyed walking through the gardens and plan on going back.

Magical nites at the Botanical Gardens, lovely! The holiday light show is so very nice. Highly recommended! This is great for young and old. Very nice walking paths taking you thru gardens with plants and trees from various parts of the world. The orchid in bloom were spectacular. A great activity, highly recommended any time including during covid!

Most beautiful gardens......I could have stayed all day ..... cannot wait to go back!!!!! Highly recommend......give yourself lotsa meandering time!!!

It was reasonably priced, and very well done for being only 10 years old. There was a small butterfly enclosure and a great space for young children. I wish that I was hungry, I saw some peoples food at the cafe, it looked very nice. My wife and I walked the outside loop which was about 1.5 miles some on paths and about a mile on the paved pathway. There was a nice tower that gave you a nice view of the wetlands/water and wildlife halfway through the loop. If I lived there I would be a member and use it for a place to walk, we spent about two hours there.

One of the most gorgeous gardens I’ve been to in a long time. Definitely worth checking them out! We went first thing in the morning when it wasn’t too hot - I would go again next time I’m town.

We have an annual membership. I'm not a "flower guy", but always manage to enjoy my time here with my wife. The place is stunningly gorgeous and the big shocker.......the food is outstanding!!! We like to come on the weekends for brunch/lunch. Always outstanding culinary offerings. Not to heavy and priced right.

I like visiting gardens when I travel. I used to manage a garden center in San Diego, took care of indoor plants at a major mall in Minnesota, and taught edible wild plants classes at a community school in Minnesota, so I love plants.
I already visited a few gardens on this trip, and given the reviews and what I saw online, I was eagerly anticipating this garden.
But the reality turned out different from what I expected. We got there about 8:30 a.m., and saw someone in the ticket kiosk, but was informed that only members can visit from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., and the general public is allowed in at 9:00. Fair enough. The stroll up to the window was a generous display of tropical and sub-tropical plants, so that was wonderful for me. I was all ready to return at 9:00. It looked exciting from a "plant person's" perspective.
And then my arms and face started to itch and I got large welts from the mosquito bites. I hadn't seen mosquitoes until we were heading back to the car. I was in misery. I rubbed cortisone cream on them. It sort of helped. Yet, I itched off and on for about a week from the bites, not to mention the worry of possible tropical diseases.
I am not oblivious to mosquitoes. I grew up in Minnesota. So my wife and I went out to get some DEET product, but could only find a "natural" mosquito control in the surrounding area, which it turned out I was allergic to the smell of.
We had the time to go back, but by this time, without the DEET product, I balked at returning. I did not feel like getting "chewed up" by mosquitoes again, no matter how good the garden was. If the entrance was any indicator, it looked like a great garden. So, call me disappointed. I wanted to see the garden, but not at the cost of feeding mosquitoes. So, if you go, bring a good mosquito spray. Then it might be a pleasant experience for you.

My wife and I have been to botanical gardens all across America and this is one of the best. She loves orchids and this has the most, by leaps and bounds. It's pretty pricey at $20 a person. Personally the "artist" that has his designs scattered throughout the gardens has less talent than my seven year old. I love art and design some myself, but you really need to branch out. (Pun intended).

Visiting the Botanical Gardens was the highlight of our first visit to Naples and Marco Island. We arrived at 9 am, when the garden opens to non members, highly advised as it is virtually empty then and cooler as well. We signed up for the 9:30 and 10:30 tours. There were only 6 of us at 9:30, and about 14 at the 10:30 tour. The 11:30 tour that we passed as we were browsing on our own looked like it had about 20 guests. Both tour guides were interesting and informative. One tour gave a historical perspective of the gardens, the other discussed most valuable plants.

Beautiful park; we took a guided tour of a few of the gardens within; certainly not all of them. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke well, and we learned a lot. The gardens were gorgeous, and interesting. I would go at least once.

Made our way there due to their event to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Not only was the event great (music, altars, food), but walking the gardens was awesome. The paths wind around, the greenery lush, benches provided so you can rest and enjoy the calm and serenity. Definitely will return to enjoy one of. The tours or educational offerings.

A very nice garden. It's on the smaller size so that was nice on a hot day. Much of it was shady. There are many varieties of gardens, with nice walking paths, lots of statues. Stopped in the Fogg Cafe for a cool drink and some awesome Key Lime cookies! Worth the stop.

The garden post-Covid was a massive disappointment. The kids play area has been completely removed. That was 90% of what we had come for. The other 10% is about the same as before in terms of satisfaction.

So much to see! We enjoyed the variety of displays and got some inspiration for our own gardens. This a beautiful place to visit again and again.

We spent a few hours visiting, we took a guided tour at 3pm, and our guide was fantastic.
Lots of places to rest and a good restaurant.
We particularly enjoyed walking around the lake (one mile walk).
It’s well worth a visit.

We had a lovely walk through the Naples Botanical Gardens on a Wednesday night when they open up until after Sunset

What a great way to spend your afternoon or evening! The setting was exquisite, and the many areas were diverse as well as interesting. Definitely worth a visit!

Prepare to be blown away by the magnificence of God’s creation! The Orchid Garden was my absolute favorite. It has inspired me to try raising them! Naples Botanical Gardens is not to be missed! The Children’s Garden is currently closed and you must schedule visits to ensure small numbers of visitors.

We were so disappointed in the Christmas Lights display. The creepy statues were over the top. We would have expected a more Christmasy feel! White lights, christmas carols, a nativity?

Four of us spent four or so hours at the Garden the other day. The Garden was simply beautiful with well thought out paths and an excellent Audi on tour on your phone included in the entrance price. It also had a number of different sections reflecting habitats in the area. Cannot recommend enough.

In the heart of Naples, Florida, lies a verdant oasis that will delight nature lovers and horticulture enthusiasts alike – the Naples Botanical Garden. This 170-acre paradise is a true feast for the senses, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
As you wander through the meticulously manicured gardens, you'll be surrounded by a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and exotic plant life from around the world. The Brazilian Garden is a particular standout, boasting a diverse collection of tropical flora, including towering palm trees and cascading waterfalls that transport you to the lush rainforests of South America.
The Garden's team of expert horticulturists has curated a remarkable array of themed gardens, each with its own unique charm and appeal. The Asian Garden showcases the serene beauty of Japanese and Chinese landscaping, complete with a tranquil koi pond and traditional pagodas. Meanwhile, the Caribbean Garden bursts with the vivid hues and lush foliage reminiscent of island paradises.
But the Naples Botanical Garden isn't just a visual delight; it's also an educational experience. Guided tours and interactive exhibits provide fascinating insights into the world of plants, conservation efforts, and sustainable gardening practices. Children, in particular, will love the hands-on activities and the butterfly house, where they can witness these delicate creatures up close.
Beyond the gardens themselves, the Naples Botanical Garden offers a range of amenities to enhance your visit. The on-site restaurant, Fogg Café, serves up delectable farm-to-table cuisine in a charming outdoor setting, while the Garden Store is a treasure trove of unique gifts and gardening supplies.
Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or simply seeking a peaceful escape, the Naples Botanical Garden is a must-visit destination. With its breathtaking beauty, educational offerings, and commitment to sustainability, it's a true gem in the heart of Southwest Florida.

I went for a night lighting show at the Botanical Garden with friends. A very agreeable surprise. The trees were all illuminated and beautiful.

The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the peace of the gardens. A great place to take pictures. A good variety of plants, trees and gorgeous flowers. Wonderful gift shop as well.

The Garden is a Naples gem! A must see! It's a serene place to take a walk, sit and relax and learn. Staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly and helpful. We love taking friends and family as no one is ever disappointed. The Fogg Cafe has delicious food and the Berger Garden Shop has some unique gifts for someone special, including yourself.

Came specifically for the Night Light event as a safe outdoor activity to do with our family. Nice to see that there were many customers who wore masks (even though city ordinance for Naples does not require masks) as a COVID-19 precuation.
The variety of lights were phenomenal. The violinist was great, added a festive ambience to our walk through the garden. Our 2 favorites were the orchid area, and the Christmas tress made with different plants that were sprinkled throughout the gardens.
It was less Chrismassy that we expected. Maybe all holidays could be celebrate by having each area designated to a holiday (Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, etc). Also would like to have seen more names tags for some of the exotic plants we saw.
I got an annual membership to ensure I could buy tickets to this event as it has been hard to find outdoor family-oriented activities for our family to do in these pandemic times.

This botanical garden is beautiful. I really enjoyed walking through all the gardens. Very well maintained, nice places to sit with lovely views, and a great place for food as well. I had ceviche and it was very good! Would definitely go back when in Naples again.

I wasn’t sure it would be worth our while to drive all the way from Sarasota to visit these gardens, but it certainly was! First, I felt we were tropical forest bathing as we entered the gardens through the lush jungly foliage. Then we went on a little upland hike and from there on to a walk around the lake. Next we visited the myriad gardens landscaped according to specific themes such as Asian, Brazilian, Caribbean etc. Finally we ate at the generously spaced outdoor café and were delighted with the delicious, fresh food. Definitely worth visiting again.

My family and I have been coming to the Holiday lights at the Botanical Gardens for eight years. We love the variety of lights and the imagination put into showing off the garden in a holiday spirit.
Unfortunately, that all ended this year. Instead of the diversity of lights of vision the garden is amass in boring redundancy. The lighting consists almost exclusively of colored spotlights stuck in and around the trees and bushes. After the first 100 feet you have seen it all. In the past we would spend hours walking around. This year we were through it all in 20 minutes. If you want to enjoy the effect, shine a colored flashlight around your yard and save the $30 ticket price.

My wife and I were in the Naples area (south Florida) and we found the Naples Botanical Gardens. This is beautiful place for anyone, especially a "gardener". It is located in the southern section of Naples County and it includes about a 170 acres which has been developed into a stunning gardens. Actually there are many separate gardens to focus on a particular type of flowers. There is also a focus on the areas in the southern hemisphere, like the areas like Brazil and other places in Central America.
I enclosed some photos to give you a hint of the beauty. Here are some of the points that I want you to know:
1. There is a tour which is very good because the place is very large.
2. Don't forget the butterfly enclosure.
3,.The Orchid area is amazing.
Very nice place for lunch and the gift shop is just full of unique items.
I was amazed that they are planting Orchids in trees and it is working. They find a tree with an open area among the limbs and just plant a orchid. With the weather in Naples it grows. Among the photos that I attached there is one example of an orchid growing in the limbs of a tree. Very Cool !!!!!!
Especially for gardeners, this is an amazing place !

Enjoyed my 3 hours walking among the various gardens and lakes. Great variety and beautiful photo opportunities abound. Orchids alone are worth the trip.

You have to use masks, social distancing etc here... but the gardens were beautiful to see and they were well kept. Worth the price of admission

Loved these gardens. Impressive Frida Kahlo exhibit that displayed many of the plants and animals that appeared in her paintings. Beautiful display and the walk around the lake was spectacular. So many things to see, I need to go back so I can take it all in again!

Beautiful & fun for children as well as adults. Something different around every corner of the garden. Nice restaurant & gift shop.

Spent about 2.5 hours exploring the various parts of the gardens. We were there when it opened in the AM so we had no issues with crowds. We enjoyed the wildlife just as much as we enjoyed the plants. If you are thirsty - fountain drinks are $2 with free refills - not too bad a price.
We highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

The gardens are beautiful, well kept. Volunteers are available throughout the park for questions or information. Self paced, walk at your own speed. Very enjoyable. We stayed about 2.5 hours.
Go to FOGG Cafe if you can do so. Enjoy a drink and delicious food.
If you love fries, be sure to try them there. They were outstanding!

The Botanical Gardens were magnificent..The Oldest House was wonderful and gave one a feel for what the early town was like.
Lovely manicured grounds around town.Lovely trees and flowers.Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good walking areas, lovely variety , real loved the Asian garden and the day of the dead statues. Be sure to check it out

Probably the best botanical garden I've been to. Lots of room to walk and has everything you think would be part of Florida's environment. Great gift shop and food place. It has wonderful throughout the year as well. Will become a member.

In town for an extended stay, we paid admission once. At the end of our visit we decided to purchase a Family & Friends membership. Our original admission was credited toward the membership cost. The gardens are beautiful, and they have great free guided tours, audio tours, activities for children, many special events and a nice cafe. We have brought friends and family who have also enjoyed it.

Loved loved loved these gardens. We went off the beaten path (around the lake, not one of the official gardens) and spotted a tortoise! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Gardens area had lots of shade. Absolutely stunning.

Went to see Johnsonville Lights show for Christmas. One problem, this show featuring during Christmas season is nondenominational meaning it has nothing to do with Christmas. They have wonderful music - no Christmas music. The place has gone completely woke. Brought our 3 year old and got her excited about the ‘Christmas’ light show. What a disaster. Falsely advertised as far as I’m concerned. .

Great place to visit great botanical exhibits.Very calming place and great to walk or explore. Cool visit.

This is an excellent tropical garden with some succulent plants and cactus as well.
It was not completely clear but the garden was designed by or inspired by Roberto Burle Marx who is the best known Landscape Architect and Artist from Brazil. A huge ceramic art piece by Burle Marx dominates the park with a large reflecting pool in front of it. There are all sorts of interesting gardens from around the world and I found this to be a great visit. If you are in the area be sure not to miss this. Also read up on R. Burle Marx and his magnificent life in Rio de Janeiro.

Botanical garden is the best place to visit in Naples. I always have fun going there. The only disappointment this year was the store manager at the gift shop. She was rude towards me and she was rude towards the customers and also She was rude to one of her employees. Otherwise Botanical garden it’s always the best place in Naples.

Wow. What an absolute treat this garden was. We arrived just before 11 and joined a tour. Mary Helen walked us through the Caribbean and Florida gardens, explaining how the site was created and how each section represented different flora along with the stylistic touches of a different designer. If you prefer, you can guide yourself through the garden using QR codes or texting questions to a phone number provided throughout the park. It’s gorgeous and you’ll probably need at least 3 hours to do it justice. And don’t miss eating at Fogg cafe or the orchid garden just before the exit.

This place looked like it had a lot of potential. Maybe March isn’t the best time to go. It was kind of just blah. For $25 a person, I expected more.

Amazing display of unique and rare plants. This is a huge garden to visit, with so much to take in. Amazing water gardens, orchid gardens, sculptures, a gift shop and a cafe- you can certainly spend the better part of a day at the Naples Botanical Gardens. The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, with a wide selection of baked goods, coffees, sandwiches and salads.

I can't believe people describe this as a special experience. Maybe we had high expectations, having seen the China Lights exhibit at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Milwaukee. There was nothing special about this one. I grew up in Buffalo New York and there were many light displays that are better there on private homes near the airport. Plus, it was hard to follow the paths at night and there was nothing different about the experience other than a few colored flood lights. We felt that the only positive was that the usurious $36 admission fee per person was a charitable donation to the Garden.

This is my second time visiting. On this second visit, I was with my family and three teenagers.
The garden is very beautiful, as others will attest.
My 3-star rating is because all the side trails off the main trail are closed, so you cannot see much of the park. Thinking of seeing the orchids up-close? Nope. Or many other plants and flowers that aren’t viewable from the main, paved path.
Don’t bother making the longer walk to the bird tower. You’ll walk through the heat and humidity only to find it’s closed, too.
That would be okay if the admission were discounted accordingly, but it’s not. I paid $100 (no student discounts either!) as non-Lee County residents. Overall, I think the value proposition is off given how much we couldn’t see. They should be selling tickets at half-off.
If you pay full price, consider 50% of your cost the price of admission, and the other 50% a gift to the institution.

This was our first trip to Naples Botanic Garden. At registration, Tracy was most helpful and super friendly. We took a tour with host Lillie. She was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about plants. It was a pure pleasure to take a walk there with her guidance. They also have a nice gift shop. The garden is very compact and well laid out with many interesting specimens- again, very easy to see and enjoy. It is also well maintained, with many nice places to sit with lovely views, and a great place for food as well. The bathrooms are air-conditioned and clean. We plan to visit again to see the lights in the garden at Christmas! TIP: Don't forget your sun cream.

The entrance fee was $25 per person and I was surprised to see very few flowers. The weather in Naples is so good and I was hoping to see a very colorful garden. One can walk through the garden at a decent pace within an hour.
The orchids were the highlight of the visit.

This was our third year for this annual event. A nice show this year but nothing like in the previous years. The lights didn't have the piazza as in the past. There seem to be few lights. And there was no live entertainers just piped in music throughout the venue.
What was missing was a circular light display off the water akin to fireworks going off.
My wife and I will probably go again next year. Hopefully their budget? provides a show we're use to.

The gardens are beautifully landscaped and has a good array of international botanical specimens. It's a little too hot end of April for both the flowers and visitors. Probably early morning visits are better.
There is however, lots of shade trees and a cool breeze that comes now and then. There is a cafe and the restroom facilities are very good.

Beautiful variety & well kept. A pleasant stroll & scooter ride. Must see the Paul Arsenault gallery inside too. All it needs(since it already has other religious gardens) is a “Garden at Gethsemane” section.

Very beautiful garden with a lot of different plants divided in specific area. Lot of colors and quite area, well organized. Staff friendly.

Really impressed with the Naples Botanical Gardens! The sculptures, variety of plants and flowers, the spectacular water lillys--everything so very well maintained and clearly marked---it was a beautiful way to spend a beautiful morning.

Naples Botanical Gardens has a wonderful peaceful vibe. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, sculptures of Frida Kahlo have been dispersed around the gardens. They make the garden experience even more interesting and rewarding.. Any lover of Frida Kahlo or Diego Rivera would appreciate seeing the sculptures while visiting the gardens.

The Asian Garden and the variety of orchids really impressed us on this return-visit. The entrance-area and overall ambiance continues to be improved in this already-beautiful garden.
Heavily-shaded walkways helped us "survive" a hot, muggy morning-- it is tranquil with many trails. Water features are beautiful. A group of artists were fun to watch, as they individually captured our Florida landscapes.
TIP: We turned "left" on this visit; on previous visits, the "right" portion of the gardens (as we recall) were less shaded.
The gift shop is very nice, the restaurant is good. We highly recommend all nature- lovers visit!!

The botanical garden is absolutely worth checking out. It’s not my favorite Botanical Garden, but definitely was a highlight for my little weekend get away. Be mindful that some areas have significant mosquitoes…. I will say the Asian Garden, may have been the best I’ve ever seen.

While the property is filled with bushes and trees it is really missing flowers. There were only a few small areas with flowers. I'm not sure if it is because they wouldn't hold up in the Florida sun or if the gardens just decided against it. To me, the bushes and trees just blended together after a while. And the photography on exhibit was flat out boring. Just a few large photos and a bio movie running.

This was a wonderful experience. Even in January there was lots to enjoy, photograph and marvel over. The plants are well marked and the master gardeners were really ready to answer questions.
The willow structure was fantastic I included a photo.
The restaurant was also great . Great selection of food, huge portions so think about sharing. We were overdosed with all the amazing plants and need a coffee. There are also numerous Orchids throughout the site besides the ones featured on the Orchid area.

Lovely, extensive garden, enjoyed a leisurely amble around. It has such a variety of trees and plants, it was the first place we went. Wonderful gift shop, made use of it!

Superb botanical gardens with various zones and styles. The gardens are accessible and beautifully maintained. There are some stunning water areas as well as some wildlife/wetland areas. A great days out and a gem of a place for photographers. Great gift shop and a nice cafe complete the visit. Tours are facilitated using the phone app via a QR code.

Quick summary: delightful botanical garden of a manageable size. Nice cafe on the grounds.
We came to see the special exhibit of Clyde Butcher photographs in the exhibition pavilion, and stayed to tour the grounds. The grounds have well-organized areas of a variety of tropical plants, many labeled, based on plant types or geographical region, of a variety of tropical plants. We especially enjoyed seeing the orchids, and learning about the different types of palm trees. There are also a number of open air tiki pavilions and benches for sitting and enjoying the beautiful plantings.
The Clyde Bucher show was excellent, not only for the photographs, but also the explanation of the ecosystems of the Everglades. Very enjoyable and informative.
There is a good on-site cafe with a variety of lunch items, salads, pastries, ice area, etc. Many shaded outdoor tables make for a lovely lunch or snack.
The gift shop is good, but I was a bit disappointed that there weren't more books with titles like "The Trees of Florida" (I would love to learn more about the different palms) or "Flowers of Florida" (or the Gulf states?) I can look to online sources, but would have preferred to support this gift shop.
Clean rest rooms. Always check out the exhibit - I'm sure they'll have other interesting topics.
Due diligence: while I enjoyed the labels for the various plats and trees, a few more would have been better.
This is such a pleasant place that if I lived in the area, I'd buy a membership ($80.) Since admittance is $20, it would pay for itself if I brought a friend just two times for a delightful lunch in the garden cafe, or just to come read under a tiki hut.

I am NOT a flower guy so to speak but I have to tell you this place is really impressive. It's well organized and always talk about it when people ask me what should I do in Naples Florida. This is always one of my items on a must see list.

The trials were well manicured and the landscape designs and tropical plants and orchids were magnificent.

It is the most beautiful botanical garden I have ever been to. It was easy to find & easy to park. The entrance is even lovely. The layout of the gardens is so well done. I found the labeling in the gardens easy to read. The various areas were labeled well. The paths were well done, and there were numerous sitting areas. I do feel a few more are needed on the south side back where the new construction is going on. There were numerous water fountains. We went on a heat advisory day, so water & shady rest spots were appreciated. The gardens were simply spectacular. If I lived closer, I truly believe I would be there constantly. Also, a huge plus was the Café. The service & food was wonderful. We were delighted! They do have a store that actually had plants you could purchase and a wonderful variety of nature & gardens related merchandise. I was so delighted to find a perfect gift for a friend. Well worth the visit and a huge Bravo to the Gardens!

Very relaxed and peaceful place for a walk. It displays a great variety of flowers from all over the world. It was a fantastic way to start our day off

The most beautiful garden in Southwest Florida. the food is wonderful, prepared fresh. The lights in the garden at Christmas is a must see they have music and bar station throughout the garden. I have a membership bring your camera. There’s some beautiful flowers and trees in bloom that you will enjoy and want to take photos of each one
Paved walkways and scenic overlook tower
It’s magnificent the layout of gardens is well planned. They always exhibit artwork as well from different artist, so you’ll enjoy that as well

Wonderful views, beautiful landscapes and its plants and flowers was actually a most pleasant sight to have a good family time and connect with the environment

Wonderful self guided tour. So much in bloom. Highly recommend visiting the gardens. The hanging jade was amazing

loved our trip to the gardens and saw so many beautiful plants and the orchids were amazing! bring along some bug spray depending on the season you are visiting

Enjoyed the gardens very much. The Orchid garden is like no other - spectacular. The musical swing was so unique & fun! The gift shop had some cool & unique finds. Nesting Osprey are always a worthy site to see.
My Take-aways: Non-Floridians should keep in mind that this is Florida & we are a green state with lush tropical vibes to enjoy all year round. This is not your 100% "flowers blooming" scene that one might expect from a botanical garden.
The cafe was closed because of an AC issue, which was problematic - I had planned on my 1st meal of the day there. No snacks to tide me over. The grounds were very clea, but in several areas felt under-maintained/run down.
I had been looking forward to visiting for years now but had managed to be in the area during their seasonal closing. All in all, I enjoyed my visit but was under-wow'd.

My first trip to Naples Botanical Gardens revealed some beautiful structures, mosaics and water features. I go to Botanical Gardens to wander, explore and learn. I wish the signage offered information about each garden and that the plants and trees were more inventive and unusual. I also wish there were more Florida native plantings, which would bring in some pollinators and butterflies.

If you are in the Naples/Marco Island area and have any interest in gardening or nature I would highly recommend a visit to this gem of a place! Really inspiring and immaculately maintained garden displays and enthusiastic, helpful staff and volunteers. We came back with lots of ideas, although I'm not sure we could transplant too much to the Lancashire Hills :-)

I don't know if they call it a holiday light show or a Christmas light show , but there was nothing holiday or Christmas about it . Just purple and pink light s everywhere .
If you saw the first 50 feet you saw the whole show . I would think at this time of year there might be some green and red lights . Maybe even a Santa Claus or an elf ? Instead they had some kind of Mexican "death"figures . Strange . And a waste of money because too dark to even see the gardens . Take a walk downtown for free and a better light show .

Wished I had visited on earlier trips to Naples.
This botanical garden ranks with any I have visited worldwide. Very impressive display. With the flu season the pathways were a little confusing as they route the traffic. But definitely worth the effort. Make sure to buy tickets online. No sales here.

interesting garden, but for Floridians you will see the same things that you are seeing every days, you will see a lot of orchids, some "Japanese" gardens, nénuphars...
Price is high for the "quality" of this garden...($70 for 4 peoples with one young)

Excellent garden and very good cafeteria. The only thing I didn't like was that a lot of people were not wearing masks, while it was pretty crowded, but that's a Florida thing I guess.

This place is huge! We wandered to the various gardens and admired all the flowers. The art installation of roots was very interesting as well. Sunday is also a day that locals can bring their dogs, so we enjoyed seeing plenty of dogs and their owners enjoying the gardens.

Visited here today for the first time. Upon arrival there was ample parking in their lot. Greeted by staff and only had to pay 1/2 price since I am a Lee county resident. So that was a pleasant surprise. Restrooms were clean and updated. I toured around the property taking photos and simply enjoying the peaceful environment. My favorite area was the Asian themed area. They had a food area but did not sample any food there, but it seemed very nice. They also have a nice gift shop. Plan to visit again!

We have gone every Christmas for years to enjoy the gardens and lights. The glass sculptures in 2018 were amazing!

This was our last destination on this first trip to Florida. And it was well worth the two hours drive south!! The water lily ponds (three of them) were absolutely stunning, despite it being a bit early in the season to have a fully blossoming pond. The settings with the palm trees and the different types of water lilies made for some stunning views (and lovely photos!). We walked around the lake trail, enjoying some wildlife here and there. The Japanese Gardens were stunning. The Florida Gardens were enjoyable too. There are also areas for sitting to take it all in, areas to play (both adults and children). And the Fogg Cafe was delightful with its patio overlooking a water lily pond; the food was pretty good too!

I'm a member of the garden and do Tai Chi there every week. The gardens are beautiful and the perfect setting for Tai Chi. Karen McNeil is an excellent teacher!

Naples Botanical Garden is absolutely stunning. I have been to many public gardens in Florida, and this one is by far the best.

Beautiful Naples Botanical Gardens come to life in this Christmas light display!
We came as a three-generational family and we all enjoyed it. Our one year old was fascinated by the lights. The route through the Garden was interesting and easy to follow. There was a color scheme through the path and it all looked marvelous.
The drinks were offered for an additional fee. It was difficult to walk with a drink and a mask on but that is the pandemic reality.
The >>Star of Bethlehem<< , a unique astronomical phenomenon was guiding all the visitors today. There was a restaurant with outdoor seating on our way. Our walk ended in the nice gift store.
Highly recommended event handicapped-accessible.

We've now been there twice. First time it was near close so we walked around the peaceful and lovely main lake before we were taken out. We resolved to come back, and I am glad we did. We were able to get more experiences, see more of the gorgeous flowers, see things on the side trails, and it was all amazing. The thing that stood out the most though was Juniper! We had a tour "Orchids and epiphytes." The tour guide named Juniper was fantastic, funny, patient, communicative, and not just on the tour, when we ran into her later, not only did she remember us but she talked with us and told us all about different upcoming events, and gave more information on the park itself. It was refreshing to be so cared about and informed. We became members that day due to her amazing work. She is a pure joy, the park is spectacular, and if I could have a six star rating, I'd give it. I signed up for Tripadvisor just to make sure people could know about how great this place is.

Not overly huge. But great environment and scenery. Great walking paths. Cool to see some alligators so keep an eye out

Beautiful place. Handicap friendly. Great food. We will go back again during our vacation. Purchased an annual membership even though we are only here a month.

This spot is a must see in Naples. It’s absolutely beautiful with lush gardens and great trails. Many amenities. Clean bathrooms. Loved it.

We went for the Christmas time light show. It was ok. I would improve things a bit with different "christmasy" colors. A lot of the same colors around the park. Due to COVID we had to wear masks even though we were outdoors. I understand this at the same time they were VERY strict about it. They did offer beverages and they had a wonderful gift shop. For myself, it was a bit higher priced than what was offered. But it for sure was something fun to do. Would love to come back during the daylight and when things are back to normal.

WOW! I had not been here for several years and was amazed at how it has since been rebuilt and expanded. This visit was for the Christmas display with live music, colored lights galore, and a really helpful staff throughout the park-like garden. It was superb in every respect. My wife and I visit many botanical gardens as we travel, but this is close to home and well worthy of our interest and attention. We will surely return.

Although we live locally, this was our first visit- on a 90° plus day! The heat probably deterred some visitors, but, our experience was very pleasant. The Garden is easy to find, parking is free and close to the entrance, and all facilities and gardens are marked by good signage. We enjoyed the special exhibit, the Frida Kahlo garden, as well as the permanent gardens. We joined a 45 minute free highlights tour, led by a knowledgeable docent. The walking tour is on flat boardwalks or pathways- very easy. Garden is very compact and well laid out with many interesting specimens- again, very easy to see and enjoy. Bathrooms are air conditioned and clean. On-site restaurant was a treat! 2 hours at the Gardens on a hot day plus an hour for a leisurely lunch, indoors or out, was about right. Note, in summer the gardens and restaurant close at 2.

This may be our most favorite botanical garden, and we've been to many. We like it more than Longwood, Vizcaya, NYBG, Desert Botanical Garden, US Botanic Garden, SFBG, and Chicago BG. Beautifully manicured yet the garden still feels natural. Love the attention to detail in every exhibit. This is a must-see if you are in Naples.

World class botanical gardens with loads of beautiful and unusual plants, trees and flowers. Beautifully designed gardens and water features. Nice cafe onsite as well with excellent food and refreshment options!

Fun and beautiful, absolutely the most orchids I have ever seen, have to be able to walk, lots of walking!

Beautiful and a garden that thrills even if in the past they don’t. Fantastic with it’s wild parts and zen qualities . There are concerts on certain days which you should check on as they are quite nice We lucked into this one. We also had a delicious lunch there . The food there is always excellent. A Naples treasure!

We especially liked the orchid garden.
Different garden and landscape schemes, from Asian to English to local landscape
Well worth the trip

Beautiful gardens to wander around, and the lake walk is well with the stroll! Lots of dog walkers use the lake walk before 11:30 - all we met were lovely dogs all on lead. The gardens were gorgeous - imaginatively done with the most beautiful plants - loved the orchid garden ! Cafe and restrooms nice , clean and welcoming after a good wander! Nice souvenir shop as you exit! Definitely worth a visit, we loved it!

I visit the Botanical Garden every time I'm in Naples. It is a gem. Visitors who are staying for several weeks can get an individual pass that allows unlimited entries and admission for one guest each visit. A full family pass allows for more free guest admissions. The cafeteria offer a variety of interesting, delicious moderately priced options and shaded outdoor seating. Soups and salads are especially good. A great place for a long walk and a chance to meet interesting people. Don't pass up the beautiful orchid collection.

We visited the Naples Botanical Garden (NBG) this week. It has been about two years since our last visit. We took the tour and visited the Orchid Garden & of course the gift shop.
On our list visit, the guide for our tour told us that the NBG had received about 2000 orchids as a donation. The plan was to distribute the orchids around the gardens in trees and into the current Orchid Garden. We questioned how can you plan Orchids in the trees. The response was that the weather in the NBG in south Naples would support the growth of the orchids.
I am here to tell you that it is working. There are orchids were in trees around the gardens. The Orchid Garden has been filled and the area outside of the Orchid Garden and the Gift Shop has extensive Orchids. They also sell Orchids in the gift Shop.
If you like Orchids, they are in bloom at the NBG !!!

Most inspiring place! You must visit when you are in Naples . Beautiful place to be inspired and transport your mind to other places. Bravo to staff who take care the beautiful garden .

Took my Aunt & Uncle here, they really enjoyed the variety of flora. Fair pricing, the grounds were spacious and well cultivated. Make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen! It can be a bit crowded but great fun for family trips!

So glad I came!! An abundance of flowers to delight the eyes. I took the 11:00 pollinators tour and it was well worth it. Then roamed longer with my camera. Lots to find interest in. Even though I was visiting midday there were plenty of shady spots to cool off. Looking forward to returning!

My first visit and it was simply awesome, just loved it! However, I thought the exhibit was dreadful. Could not look more out of place. I understand the “roots”connection, but they look like big aliens have landed. I was not alone, every comment I heard was the same opinion as mine. I had heard over the last few years of some really outstanding exhibits so I was sad this is what I got to see. I will go back but I’ll wait for a new exhibit.

Wow, this place is beautiful, but you better bring bug spray because the mosquitoes were terrible!! We unfortunately forgot to bring ours with us and boy, did we regret that! We got absolutely swarmed by them- so bad that we basically had to run through it so the mosquitos couldn’t land on us. The grounds were gorgeous with a wide variety of plants and flowers - we even saw 2 different species of snakes on our path. Don’t forget to check their hours before you go because in the summer they close at 2pm. Overall, a nice, scenic place with lots of paths to explore, but please don’t make the same mistake we made- BRING BUG SPRAY!!

There is nothing better than walking through a beautiful Botanical Garden spectacularly lit for the holiday season in Florida. This was our first visit, and we all agreed that we would like to return to see the garden during the daylight hours.

We finally got to visit during the Holiday Light Show. What a treat! It was beautiful. The harden was illuminated with holiday lights and live music. It was a great night.

We fell in love with Naples Botanical Gardens, as it's one of the best and one of our favorite gardens. From the time we stepped inside the gardens until we left, we saw nothing but a beautiful setting in which we could pass a couple of hours. Everything from the trees, plants, water features, art deco, and nature, was absolutely beautiful. The gardens were pristine and we'll manicured.

This place was better than expected. We had been to a few botanical gardens, but none were as nice as the one in Naples. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, very clean and so much to see. It took us a couple hours to get through the gardens, but we could have taken much longer. There are nice paths and walkways throughout, the signage is good. I would recommend checking out the Naples Botanical Garden if you like this type of thing.

This is so much more than gardens. There is a natural area beyond the gardens that includes restored water habitats. We randomly took the earliest tour available the day we visited and it just happened to cover the natural areas. We learned a lot and would probably have missed this part of the park entirely if we hadn't taken the tour. Different tours are offered at different times of day, and I am sure they are all informative, no matter what part of the gardens are covered. The display gardens are also lovely. Don't miss the orchids!

This park was created and maintained with a lot of love for the nature around us. And we felt this love at each corner. It was enjoyable trip!

Beautiful landscape with trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers. Expansive grounds for a long and leisurely walk. It worth the experience. Great children's area too.

I have been a regular here ever since it opened and it has developed into a world-class garden. Nice focus on SW FL ecology, with special set asides for orchids, water lilies, palms, etc.

Very nice botanical garden. Especially the part that is close to the entrance/exit. The loop trail around the lakes is not as exciting, you can skip it. Not much to see there, unless you want to walk more.

We enjoyed The Orchid Society's exhibit. Just fabulous!!! Never saw so many beautiful and varied orchids with their contest ribbons.
We also loved having lunch outdoors in the Fogg Cafe. It makes a very good Cuban sandwich, as well as delicious salads.
The various garden displays are well worth multiple trips.

I l love the botanical Gardens. We always try and visit it when we’re here but obviously haven’t visited it since the last hurricane.
You can clearly see the damage at the hurricane has done to the plants and trees however that didn’t spoil what is a fantastic place in Naples.
There’s still plenty to see, and it’s still brings a smile to your face when you see the new growth that’s coming through definitely worth a visit .

Great Small Town Zoo. It has Lions, Tigers, Panthers, Giraffes, Primates, Snakes-and more. They are adding more exhibits soon.

I honestly do not how I have never visited prior to today in the 18 years I have been coming to Naples. This is certainly not a "touristy" thing to do. It is a beautiful place that is well designed. There is so much to see from the Orchid garden (highly recommend that) to the Asian garden, Caribbean, Florida, Succulent (my favorite), Water gardens and so much more. There is quite a bit of walking especially if you walk the lake path. Expect to spend 2 hours+ to see everything. The Holiday light show is not to be missed from what I understand and we will be back.

Great way to spend an afternoon. The variety of plants from around the world was excellent. Highly recommend!

Beatutiful gardens with interesting variety. And of course the orchids. Also love the more natural walk around the lake. Bring a hat! And lots of sunscreen. Nice restaurant and fun gift shop!

The NBG is small but a nice place to visit and peaceful. The orchid show was there the day we went and there were many beautiful varieties and arrangements.

We bought a membership and didn't use it a lot but the few times we did go, were so impressed by the beauty and thoughtfulness of the displays and plantings. Highly recommend.

Visited in the morning on a Friday. Entrance fee for adults is $27. No paper maps. You scan a code and follow the paths. Recommend wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes. We walked about 6000 steps stopping to sit in the peaceful areas that had benches. The trees, plants etc were labeled and we did get to see a few birds, a turtle and a few mosquitos. Bring spray and keep the temperature in mind. The mosquitos were around the water on one of the paths. Had some unusual specimens which made it interesting. The only reason I rated a 4 instead of 5 was because the map was not easy to understand. Either way the gardens were beautiful and I would recommend visiting although I personally would not go during rainy season or when the temperature is higher.

Really enjoyed my visit. Everything is beautiful, and oh my gosh, the food at the restaurant on the grounds is exceptional. I had a chicken mango salad, chocolate croissant and a glass of cold sparkling Prosecco!

On visiting Naples for a beach vacation, the soon to be hurricane Sally left some rain on Monday the 14th, so we visited the gardens in the morning. Pretty empty, nice staff on entry and when we had questions. Enjoyed the variety of Caribbean, Brazilian, Asian, American gardens. Hot, humid, a hint of rain, and it was a nice visit. Would have been better if the store was open more frequently (closed during our visit) and if many of the side paths were open.
We did the entire walk around the lake to see some additional scenery and it was an easy walk.

I’m not a huge botanical fanatic but my wife, grown daughter, and elderly aunt are so we went. I have to say I was impressed. The place must be flush with money because everything was really first class, clean, and very well designed. Plus the cafe had beer. Oh and the plants/flowers/trees were pretty spectacular.

I loved this garden. The flowers and palms were lovely. Most of the paths they the garden were shaded. Making it comfortable to visit during the middle of the afternoon. The cafe and gift shop were also excellent. We really enjoyed this day trip.

Surprised local AAA BOOK DID NOT mention the garden. Great garden and wise paths accommodate to accommodate handicapped.

If you’re driving from Miami to the West Coast of Florida, this is a great stop on the way.
You can spend a couple of hours walking around the grounds with or without a guide.
There is also a simple eatery for a quick lunch.

And to add to the beauty of the plants and water features, the restaurant served the best french fries we have ever eaten!

We highly recommend touring these gardens. The variety is outstanding. There are plenty of shaded areas to keep you out of the intense summer sun. And if you like photography, there are plenty of worthy subjects.

Third visit in 2 months! Can’t say enough about the beauty of this place, the informative and fun tours with terrific guides, the variety of gardens with global themes, the gorgeous floral gardens, and a great staff. The cafe on site is delicious with healthy options prepared with fresh ingredients. A must see and you’ll be back!

Christmas lights in the Garden were beautiful. Nice walk around to view them. The only draw back was the choice of food and prices in the cafe. Eat beore you go.

Had a fantastic time. Perfect way to enjoy beautiful surroundings in the toasty Florida sun. Very nicely laid out and easy to navigate. Had a combination of many variety of plants, trees and flowers from many different parts of the world. Bathrooms were spotless. Amazing pond(s) with beautiful lily pads residing within. Photo ops galore. Art Gallery was a bit small, but very well done with lovely pieces of art available for purchase from private artists.
A wonderful volunteer gave me a quick run-down of the different parts of the gardens I could anticipate exploring and they spent a few minutes telling me about the history and origins of the gardens. So nice of them to take a moment to share and give my visit a warm touch.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and it was nice to do something different besides the beach, shopping, and boat tours. Those things are all fine and well, but visiting the Naples Botanical Gardens made me feel like I was transported to a different place of well being.

This is an amazing place that you have to visit. Make sure you take the guided tour, which is included in the admission price. While not included in the tour, also go to the orchid garden it is magnificent

Incredible tropical gardens, beautiful and well-maintained.. We liked it so much that we bought memberships. Restaurant is decent now, it was better in pre-pandemic times. Recommended.

These gardens are beautiful and full of so many interesting plants and trees. I liked the fact that you could go on a guided walk or take a self guided tour. There are signs throughout the gardens that link to audio recordings giving you additional information about what you are seeing. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and while there were people in the gardens it was not overcrowded and was very peaceful. The gardens are each unique and it was fun to compare the differences. So many types of palms! We also ate in the cafe - the service was on the slow side but the food was good for the price. Definitely would come back to spend some more time.

Positively beautiful. I’ve never seen so many gorgeous colors or varieties of plants, flowers and trees. The birds nesting were also a welcomed site. I spotted a Floridian bird I had never seen before, perched on a tree limb in a pond. Very unique, very pretty.

We’ve been members for many years since moving to SWFL, we are fans of gardens and arboretums as my wife worked for one on Long Island. There is more money being pumped into the gardens and it shows. Beautiful exhibits on a seasonal basis. And now the weather gets cooler and the snowbirds come down it gets busy. Sunday mornings dogs are allowed in. Children’s area still closed. Go enjoy

Naples Botanical Garden is a beautiful gem in Southwest Florida. There are many different parts of the gardens that showcase all kinds of local flowers, trees, nature, etc. You can choose to walk the entire park or just do part of the trails. They offer a yearly membership with outstanding events throughout the year. My favorite is the night lights during December in which the gardens are beautifully lit and there is different live music all around the gardens.

its such a beautiful garden to visit with the family. the collection of flowers and trees its amazing.

We spent six hours on our visit and could have stayed even longer but the sun was setting. A "must see" whenever we visit Naples again.

I’ve been to a lot of gardens around the world and this one is a gem. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff, good technology for your info on smart phones as you walk around, well maintained grounds and beautiful views. There is a good variety of exhibits and different walks depending on your interests. We also enjoyed the visual arts exhibit on the visiting sculptor and had a yummy healthy lunch in the cafe.

This is an absolutely beautiful Botanical Garden, and they are constantly expanding. We went over Father's Day Weekend and surprisingly Father's Day was Open and Free to the Public! This Botanical garden is on the ocean and has one of the most beautiful flowering lily pad gardens. Something different is always blooming. Also a good place to pack a lunch or take a short hike. Restrooms and a cafe are also available on-site.

Relaxing walkable place with food and drink available. Also special event schedule. Friendly knowledgeable staff..

We definitely could have stayed hours here, but picked an early morning before temps got too warm. So beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Worth the time and effort to get there and the entrance fee is very fair.

This garden is breathtaking. The specialty tours put everything in perspective. With so much to do in Naples, this is a must.

My wife and I spent over 3 hours walking the gardens and still feel like we could have continued. The orchids, the water gardens and the beautiful landscapes make for amazing photography opportunities as well as inspiration for artists. The place is very well maintained and paths are easy to get around on. The cage was a great place to stop and have some delicious French fries (one order was big enough for both of us to share) and refreshing drinks. If you are a flower and plant enthusiast or just love to appreciate nature, the Naples Botanical garden is recommended!

5/5 for what we saw in 90 minutes, including the 1-mile walk around the lake.
2/5 for having 50% of it closed off because...?
0/5 for having NO RESTROOMS except 2 family restrooms open. They said it is so they can keep them clean and make sure too many people are not inside. HOWEVER, there are long lines of people who have traveled an hour or more waiting outside in congregated lines. Once in, the restrooms are filthy and poorly stocked. Toilet paper must be used with watered down sanitizer to clean the potty-speckled toilets and handles. No paper towels. No hot water.
Here is an idea: actually open the restrooms with signs that say "2 people maximum". Then actually clean the restrooms. You will also prevent people with little boys from urinating around the lake.

The Naples Botanical Garden was simply stunning! We came during the evening for the holiday light show and had a truly enchanting evening. The colored lights illuminated the plants and natural life beautifully and I definitely recommend a trip to this stunning place during your trip to Naples.

We enjoyed the afternoon at the garden! We liked walking around the different sections of the garden. The cafe had a nice selection of food. The gift shop
had some pretty nice gifts to pick from.
We took the air-conditioning garden tour cart. The cart was great but the tour
was not worth the price! They gave you headsets so you could listen to the
Information about the garden area. I don’t want to see maintenance area’s.
We hoped to hear about the plants.

My husband & I really enjoyed strolling through the beautiful Naples Botanical Garden this past January. We also enjoyed the tour with a very informative guide. The weather was perfect that day for exploring the Garden.

The garden is absolutely gorgeous. The space is fully utilized and meticulously maintained. There is SO MUCH to see here making the admission cost ($25) worth every cent to keep this place around for generations to come. Ample parking; easy in and easy out. Recommend getting the free garden map to help navigate the vast space and not miss any of the different areas. I particularly loved the Asian and Brazilian gardens. There are plenty of spots to rest in and out of the shade. Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours to meander. There are water fountains all around the gardens for humans and pups! Dog walking is allowed only at top of the day. I was shocked how many people were here compared to the many other botanical gardens I’ve been to, so don’t expect to share this space alone. The paths are paved mostly, some short gravel paths like through the succulent garden, other areas are easy walking grass, and a narrow wooden boardwalk near the ghost orchids.

Don’t bother with a family pass, it’s a complete waste of money. My family and I wanted to have photos taken at the garden after our small intimate wedding ceremony and the garden has denied us entry. They said they only allow “other” photo shoots… apparently if we are dressed for a wedding we are not allowed to enter - even though the entire group is immediate family (aside from a photographer). Extremely disappointed with such a ridiculous policy! We were more than happy to pay extra for the added adults but they still said “no” because a photographer would be onsite. It’s sad we can’t enjoy photos from our special day at the garden we support and contribute to.

Bring your walking shoes, there is a lot to see and it’s so gorgeous you won’t want to miss any of it. There are a few garden areas that feature plants from different tropical areas. We learned that The Naples Botanical Gardens work to help preserve endangered plants from around the world so besides gaining access for the day, we felt that our entrance fee helped in a small way to allow the gardens to do that important work. There were so many rare plants and the ability to text a question to one of the resident gardeners, which really gave us a deeper dive into learning a little about what we were seeing. More than once as we passed someone working, we were given a tip about what not to miss. One gal simply said “look up” and made our whole visit! The tree we were walking under was in bloom with ridiculously gorgeous coral blooms so big that they almost looked fake; we would have missed it had she not taken a moment to assure we didn’t. The orchid garden is alone worth the price of admission, make sure you save time to truly enjoy it. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the Fogg Cafe. We purchased a membership as much for the ability to go enjoy the cafe again and again as for the gardens!

We enjoyed the wide array of beautiful blooms and trees at the garden, which gets an a+ for social distancing measures. The rare palms are incredible, as well as the orchids and bromeliads. The Brazilian garden is drool-worthy! Don’t miss the enticing restaurant and well-stocked gift shop.

February is a beautiful time to visit — so many lovely plants and so few bugs. The orchid exhibit and the water lily ponds were amazing, but the highlight was hearing about some of the plants during a tour by Kaitlyn — DEFINITELY made the visit (only offered certain times of day but included in the admission price)

Spectacular gardens! They have rebounded beautifully after significant hurricane damage to the canopy trees. It’s wonderful to see the gardens looking lush and healthy! There are curated tours at certain times of the day… we chose to leisurely self tour. There are lights for evening walks as well . Easy walking trails … wheel chair accessible too! A great learning experience for the entire family.

Arrive before 11 for the banana bread, I hear it's the best. Attending the gardens during December you may want to go both in the day and at night for the garden light show. The gator near the plumeria, I've named him Wally. You can't see it all in one walk, get lost..saunter slowly and bring that zoom in lens!

You could tell that the folks have put a lot of time and effort into plantings, arrangements of flora, but unfortunately not a lot of stuff is blooming in January. Was still worth the visit. It's definitely one of the better visitor sites in Naples.

This garden is easily accessible to anyone. It is compact and easy to get around. It consists of small themed gardens that interconnect with one another. There is a nice cafe offering both indoor and outdoor dining.

I went here with my husband and daughter. All three of us really enjoyed meandering through the various gardens, using the map they provided us at entrance. It was a bit pricy, which I wish it wasn't because many people can't afford to visit at this price, but if you can afford it, it is a lovely place to go see very pretty tropical plant gardens. Not as many blooming flowers, but it has many tropical trees, bushes and plants, organized in various themed areas... succulents, Asian , etc. We spent about 2.5 hours and really enjoyed it and saw all the displays. You can sign up for a tour if you desire, but we were fine walking through the gardens on our own. I loved the privacy and peacefulness of walking through the gardens. It is not that big, so you can definitely walk at a slow pace and take everything in at your own pace. I suggest trying to go early, when it has less people and it's cooler. There was a place to buy food, as well as restrooms. Great visit - great place to take friends. I did find a $5.00 coupon in one of the local travel books you can pick up, so check it out!

Plan to spend a few hours at this gorgeous well maintained Botanical Garden! We started our day with a delicious breakfast eating al fresco at the Fogg Cafe. There is so much to see and explore with many areas to sit and relax and take in all the beauty that surrounds you. Highly recommend! Will return next year during the Holiday Lights tours.

This is a great place to get away from crowds and reconnect with nature. There are plenty of sculptures, and little places to sit and reflect. So many small gardens and great viewing areas. Lots of birds, gators and other wildlife can be see throughout the park.

Excellent walk through along trails and walkways. Plenty of room. Very nice shop. Plenty of parking at the south side of town. Easy access for all. Allow at least 1.5 hours. Plenty of benches and rest areas

Very excellent botanical garden. Be sure to use a map or you will miss a lot! We asked a couple how long it takes to go through it and they said about 45 minutes. We took 3 hours and sort of rushed ourselves at the end as we had to leave to make another appointment. There are lots of little “surprise” areas that aren’t on the map - be sure to look closely! In one area, in a raised bed, it’s a visual and aural experience - basil, mint, etc - near there was also a sweet, dessert smelling white-flowered bush that that captured our senses. There are so many paths, though, that it’s easy to get sort of “lost” and not know where you are or where you’ve been - it would be helpful to have better navigation on the path of some sort - like a red path section for one area, and a blue path section for another, and so on - or maybe an app that takes you through it and that could have all kinds of other useful things integrated into it.

Love the garden and have been members for a number of years. Staff are great and did amazing job for Lights In The Garden.
My rating was for the light show, which was disappointing compared with previous years. Very repetitive and no real surprises compared with last year. We still enjoyed it but not as special as in previous years.

You won't believe that the Naples Botanical Garden is only ten years old! Rated the best young botanical garden in the nation, it features stunning collections from the subtropical latitudes shared by southern Florida: Caribbean, Brazil, and Southeast Asia. The Gardens also include a 100 acre preserve of local flora, including a birding tower, home to native animals and birds as well as plants.

The Naples Botanical Gardens are extensive, with gardens featuring plants from many parts of the world. The sculptures are spectacular. In addition the food at the restaurant is actually good!

Very relaxing and informative. We were able to walk around and look at our own pace. Plenty of places to sit and take time to rest. Even the heat couldn't ruin our day! Lots of plants blooming all the way throughout the gardens.

Well worth the admission price. Beautiful gardens, friendly staff, clean facilities and a lovely cafe for lunch. There special exhibits are always great. Parking was ample and close to the entrance. We spent 2 hours but you could spend more.

Well planned and laid out botanical garden, focused on plants from the tropics and subtropics. Laid out by general area (Caribbean, Florida, Brazil, Asia) with appropriate landscaping and ornamentation. Easy to park and walk through. Of special interest is the Christmas light tour.

It’s a relaxing place for a walk. There are a number if special gardens devoted to plants from a particular region. I felt the experience would have been better if there had been more descriptive placards and signs.

This place is magical. Love to go weekly. Thank you Botanical Gardens!! Looking forward to our next visit.

The admission price ($25) is exorbitant for what it was. Although the grounds were pretty there were very few flowers and mostly tropical plants. I never saw a botanical garden like this before.

We love the gardens and the special displays they bring in. We attended the Johnsonville Night Lights with out of town guests.. All of us, adults and teens, enjoyed the beautiful lights. it was unlike anything we've ever seen at Christmas time. I highly recommend attending this event to residents and visiting guests.

We live in Naples and one of the special treats for us is the Botanical Gardens. I Love taking Guests to such a Beautiful place. The nicest part of the Gardens is the ever-changing array of plants. Each visit displays a new experience.

Definitely a must visit for the garden lover. Beautiful garden with variety of tropical plants. We did the free guided tour and he was amazing, very knowledgeable. Nice place to go on a hot day. We enjoyed the special exhibit of Ikebana ,the art of flower arranging .

Beautiful grounds. Several different types of gardens to explore. The shop has some interesting items for sale. Delicious lunch at their cafe..

A must-see for anyone visiting Naples. You will need at least 3 hours to really see all of it. I would recommend you sign up for the free educational tours. They are great.

Absolute paradise for plant lovers! These gardens exceeded my expectations, plant nerd that I am. (Thank you, Grandma!) We were lucky enough to be there for the Water Lily competition so that was a plus. The gardens are well thought out and so many species of the most beautiful Orchids and Water Lilies as well as other tropical plants, trees and flowers. The Willow Sculpture is as fascinating as it is whimsical - a delight for all! There is a nature trail which we did not brave as it was quite soggy due to the recent heavy rains, but nice to know it is there as it serves the wildlife and surrounding ecosystem.

We’ve had such wonderful weather recently, it’s perfect for spending the day taking in the beauty of the Naples Botanical Gardens. Whether you live in SWFL or you’re planning to visit, you must plan a day here!
Their daily tours are a perfect way to get to know the Gardens if you’ve never been. They are 45 minutes long and leave on the hour. 🌸
Or just set off on your own and take your time in each area. Our favorites are the LaGrippe Orchid & Lea Asian Gardens, but really, there is beauty everywhere you look. 🌺 Keep a look out for the Cousin It Palm, that was a favorite of ours too 😁
Catch the Musical Swings before they leave on April 20th! You will instantly remember how much fun it is to be on a swing!
❗️Don’t worry about planning your visit around lunch, they have a great restaurant there! Fogg Café is open all day and has fabulous food! And you can always stop in again to get little gelato before you head home. 🍨

My husband and I visited the Botanical Gardens for the Christmas light display. It was a beautiful evening. They have refreshments available and plenty of guides to help you through the exhibit. The lights are very well done. The tickets are a little pricey but it makes for a festive evening!

The Botanical gardens was having a Ikebana exhibit. Ikebana is the Japanese practice of flower arrangement, part art and science. My wife and I took the opportunity to be Bontanical garden members. There many many beautiful displays of floral arrangements and designs. A feast for the eyes. We also listen to a lecture and demonstration of a tea ceremony. Please see the pictures of the lovely flowers.

It's a pricey entrance fee ($20 for an adult) but I spent two hours walking through nature. It's a beautiful series of gardens but in summertime it's HOT. Bring water with you!

I visited this garden in 2014,this visit in 2021 showed some decline.I thought the gardens looked run down not as well kept as before, maybe Covid had an impact. There were still some nice areas however. There was a great exhibit of Clyde Butcher, pictures were amazing.

I absolutely loved this place!!! Very peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The tropical vegetation is stunning. I loved seeing all the different colored orchids and learning about all the different plants, flowers and tropical fruits. Will definitely visit again!

Wonderful exhibits and information. Take your time to meander through and enjoy your day. Relaxing and informative.

We love the botanical gardens! It’s a wonderful place to explore exotic plants and flowers from Florida, the Caribbean and various parts of Asia. We needed a break from the beach and this was perfect. Keep in mind, they close at 2 pm (when we visited) and it takes about 1.5 hours to see.

What a stunning garden! And so extensive! Beautifully maintained and species are well marked. The audio guide is very nice but the actual stops for the guide should be marked on the map. We had a wonderful time!

Met up with some friends. Gardens are now in great shape after Hurrican Ian clean-up. Pleasant walk. Cafe on site. Members can bring 2 guests for free.

We enjoyed our time in the various areas of the Gardens. Loved seeing the lily pads and the orchids!!!! There were lots of palm trees, too. Such a peaceful place to spend some time.

Outstanding spot to enjoy on a beautiful day. Walk through and explore the vast acres of beautiful gardens and water features. We will definitely return and become members on our next visit.

I absolutely love coming here. Different things are in bloom each time we come, with different art on display. We love the butterfly house too. We became members after our first visit!

I was near the area showing homes to my buyers and decided to take my first trip to Naples Botanical Gardens since relocating to the area. I didn't realize how big it really was. Unfortunately I got there a few hours prior to closing but look forward to coming back with my family. I am sure my kids will have the best time. This place is truly beautiful and as asset to Naples and Southwest Florida.

Make sure to take the guided tour. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Always ready to answers questions. So relaxing and serene. A definite recommend!

We toured before it was closed for Covad 19. A beautiful assortment of plants in a well laid out garden.

Membership is well worth the price. Enjoy all seasons and hospitality. Have unique experiences. Enjoyed watercolor and and nature journaling class. Would highly recommend joining the Naples Botanical Garden.

Wonderful stroll through a beautiful place. In all took about 2 1/2 hours to do. Took our time to see everything there was. But over all great place to see if in Naples.

Beautiful, peaceful gardens with plenty of walking space. A great place to spend time with your family. I loved all of the lush, green plants native to this area - the lily and lotus ponds were an exquisite hightlight. The only downside were the mosquitos in the hot July weather.

This garden is beautiful and much bigger than expected! I did not think my husband and I would spend more than 30 minutes here, but we ending up spending several hours! There were so many different gardens and plants that it kept us interested. There was also a local artist featured in the event room while we were there, which was an added bonus.
We were originally going to pass on this activity because of the cost, but we are Bank of America card holders which gets us in free to select museums on the first full weekend of every month. And the Naples Botanical Garden is on their list! Highly recommend looking into Bank of America's Museum's On Us program if you are a card holder.

Whatever you do, stop by the Naples Botanical Gardens and view these spectacular Gardens. There is so much to see, like water gardens, beautiful flowers and trees, and bridges over ponds to pergolas and gazebos, and so much more. You can walk around the lake and see some of the most awesome bird species too.

What a lovely, wonderful and well groomed place… If you love plants ypu should visit Naples Botanical Garden!

Very much fun worth going to see the holiday lighting with friends. There is a restaurant that serves good food.

Two years ago we moved to Naples and the first time we visited The Botanical Gardens I was so impressed for the beauty of this place that we became members.
The gardens are beautiful and everything is well organized which make the visit a pleasure.
During the year they have different cultural events. Last year, we took visiting friends to see the work of Mexican artist Freda Kala, they loved it.
Also during Christmas, the gardens are fully illuminated , plus they have music and drinks to make your visit an amazing experience.
I highly recommend this place when you visit Naples.

This was our second visit to the Naples Botanical Garden, this time with our son and DIL and our 2 grandchildren. There was a Frida Kahlo themed exhibit scattered through the park. This mostly included sculptures and other educational information related to Frida. Additionally, there were a couple stations set up specifically for children to enhance their interest in the garden and offer learning opportunities. The girls were able to make a small craft (pinwheels), given little journals to sketch plants or art of their interest (they both did) and an activity pack which they could take home. Their attention was maintained throughout the garden despite the high heat and high humidity. The garden is well maintained and well marked. We were able to visit each specific area and the way the Frida Kahlo pieces were scattered through the garden made it all the more fun! This is definitely a place to come again and again! Also they have an excellent gift shop.

This is a beautiful botanical gardens, not far out of the main area of Naples.
The grounds are very well kept, so many different plants and areas of the gardens. A lovely pond with a trail around. Lots of opportunities to walk on trails.
The variety of species was great.
There wasn’t a ton of info around the gardens about the different plants but there seemed to be many volunteers around who looked more than willing to chat if needed.
We spent about 3 hours there, ending our visit with a cold drink from the cafe, sitting by one of the beautiful ponds and then a quick tour in their garden shop which had lots of cute things to browse if people are into that sort of thing!
Definitely recommend and ignore any negative reviews !

Beautiful gardens and a nice gift shop. I go every year. This year I was able to go for the garden show. I wish I wasn’t flying because I would have picked up a few orchids for gifts.

We have been to the garden 3 times in a year and have been delighted each time. The December evening lighted plants were lovely. During the daylight there is an audio tour you can follow if you want to ID the plants you see. There are several types of gardens to see, a water garden, an Asian garden and a wild and crazy art exhibit made of branches you can walk through.

Beautiful gardens with lots of areas to escape into the shade. Wonderful place to go for a walk and very nice gift shop. Make sure to wear mosquito repellent if you go in the morning!

This is an incredible experience! Lovingly cared for grounds. Everything is beautifully arranged, well established, labeled well. I love the way each individual area is true the country of origin! A must see!

Our first visit to the Botanical Gardens was a great experience. Beautiful walking trails, and the Asian Gardens were particularly spectacular. Our favorite spot in the gardens was the "Circle of Friends" sculpture. Highly recommended!!

We spent nearly 2 hours exploring the gardens. They were nicely maintained and a nice variety. We also enjoyed the special photography display. Masks were not required outside in the gardens - which made for a more pleasant day since we have been vaccinated.

One of the most Incredible gardens I’ve ever been to. Extremely knowledgeable staff, even the visitor service ladies knew plants. Gorgeous gardens, friendly welcoming staff, great educational tours, and a fantastic cafe.

This place is absolutely exquisite. You can’t turn your head without seeing something incredibly gorgeous! Must see!

The Naples Botanical Garden was just beautiful. The design of the themed gardens was a wonderful way to explore a series of environments. Water was present throughout the gardens and provided so many photographic opportunities. The orchids were varied and beautiful. The musical swings were so fun! The gift shop was well stocked and contained a beautiful variety of tasteful items. Parking was easy.
The whole visit was a wonderful experience that we are sure to repeat the next time we are in Naples. We definitely recommend the Gardens.

It was so great to see them open since the last time I tried to go they were recovering from the hurricane. The trails were well groomed and marked well. Displays were gorgeous..definitely go during Orchid and Water Lily season.

Positive - The garden is beautiful, peaceful and well maintained.
Negative - Naples Botanical Garden was so much better for children before 2020. They had an amazing Children's Garden with a splash pad, watering can to help with the plants, rope bridge, tree house, cool blue toilet, stepping stones, chalk, and a sand area to play in. None of that is there anymore.
It is still a nice play to visit, but definitely a disappointment for children. We had annual passes, but now it isn't worth the money if you have children. It was a great place to visit for grownups and children.
If they bring the Children's garden back to life, we will definitely return.

What a great Botanic gardens. Am amazing array of different plants and habitats. A great orchid display and so many fascinating trees. You can walk sort or longer routes and a lovely place for an afternoon walk.
The cafe is outstanding with excellent and good value food.
Worth joining as a member if you are able to go frequently which you will want to.

My husband and I visited on Memorial Day after our morning plans finished earlier than expected and arrived at about 11am. Since it was just the two of us, we were more spontaneous about our visit planning only: 1) sunscreen, 2) hats, 3) footwear for walking distances, and 4) bottled water. If you are traveling in a group, with young children or older adults in need of assistance, you may want to prepare in advance using the website to make note of restrooms, areas that are full sun vs shade, which trails are unpaved vs paved, water stations, etc. The option to self guide or sign up to join a tour is a nice way to appeal to all guests. We opted to self guide since we had plans at 1:30pm. The map was sufficient and clearly designated the areas throughout this amazing paradise. Everything throughout the facility was well marked. The plants, trees and flowers were as vibrant and breathtaking as they were well cared for. We enjoyed the various themed areas; the ponds with the lily pads and flowers were our favorite and so serene. Advice: you may consider skipping the Uplands trail if you are with someone using a wheelchair, traveling with small children or not so steady on your feet since it is an unpaved, pine needle path and much of what you will see is "restoration in progress". My husband and I enjoyed the trail but it is not for everyone. We spent a little under 2 hours in the Botanical Gardens, enjoying the visual aspects more than anything. A 2.5-3 hour visit ensures you see everything and enjoy the majority of educational info provided along the way.

We have visited botanical gardens in many parts of the world. This garden is quite small, so we only spend a short time there. $80 is a pretty high price for that. The different gardens are laid out relatively simply. There is simply no “aha” moment. But what really annoyed us is the fact that the park itself claims to have one of the largest orchid exhibitions in the world. That really is an absolute joke. Every hardware store in Germany has a larger selection. I don’t understand why superlatives have to be used so often in America. I would even go so far as to say that every other state in the USA has a larger orchid collection. Every amateur gardener probably has more specimens to offer. In short: we left after an hour, more than disappointed.

2 people came to 50.00. Place is well kept. Bathrooms are clean. We had a rice crispy treat at the Cafe that was the bomb! Yum
Bring walking shoes
Very pretty would recommend

Naples Botanical Garden is a gem! There are countless varieties of flowers, shrubs, and trees set in exquisite and diverse gardens spread across acres and acres. The orchid garden is especially stunning. The facilities are top-notch including a lovely gift shop and wonderful walk up cafe. Every staff member we have encountered on multiple visits has been warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Naples Botanical Garden is one of the most amazing places in Naples! It’s absolutely beautiful and a must see if you are in the area.

We chose to occupy our morning by taking a stroll through the Naples Botanical Gardens. I though the $20.00 entrance fee was abit steep, but we still went in. The “Root Sculpture” displays placed throughout are quite creative and interesting. I loved the lily pads water gardens the best...so calming and beautiful. I did find that that not a lot was in bloom throughout the garden which was abit of a disappointment. More greenery than color at this time of the year. I thought that to be odd since so much is in bloom on the east coast of Florida.

This is kind of a deceptive maneuver bu the boatnical gardens. Call it night lights, but using the word lights and scheduling this event in Christmas season, and most visitors pay a premium on normal admission expecting like other venues around the country at this time of year, a light show will be Christmas themed. The event is anything but Christmas related, and although the lights are pretty, after about 100 feet of it, its completely more of the same with colored lights illuminating plants and trees. There was a singer, who appeared to be singing to a karaoke machine, and whose someone you would find in an almost empty saloon, spewing out songs to 70s pop classics. All that was missing was the stench of stale beer and pretzel crumbs on the bar.
We live the botanical garden but this was a waste of time. The only plausible explanation for this travesty is a generous patron and board member offended by a Christmas themed event. The lights were also so overwhelming that it could give an epilectic a seizure or migraines.
Stay home or go to a 3rd rate bar. At least for 37 bucks you can have a few beers and peanuts.
I gave this two stars because i love the botanical gardens, else I'd give this zero and demand a refund

Naples Botanical Gardens continues to amaze my friends and me. We’ve been going for annual visits for quite some time now. We felt very COVID safe as admissions were spaced and limited. All staff were wearing masks. The garden has plenty of space to roam around and enjoy all the native and exotic plantings. The orchid garden glows with color and character. I can highly recommend this as a place to visit now and again and again!

Most stunning botanical gardens I’ve ever seen. Beautiful gardens divided into 5 separate gardens. Lots of wildlife and displays. Must see for all ages.

If you love gardens and conservation, this is the place for you. We loved every aspect. There is so very much to see that you can't really do everything in one visit. Most people go through more superficially in a couple of hours. We took 4 hours and only quit because we were overloaded and hot. The cafe there is also wonderful. We had a very excellent brunch.

What beautiful gardens! Arrive in the morning to sign up for the walking tours as they fill up fast. Take any that are available even if you think you are not interested in the subject. The docents are wonderful and will make any subject interesting! We did "History of the Gardens" and "Epiphytes and Orchids". We didn't even know what epiphytes were (air plants like Spanish Moss) but ended up buying one before we left the gardens. There is also a very tasty cafe with interesting selections. If you eat lunch there, plan on spending 3-4 hours at the gardens.

We visited the Naples Botanical Garden during Spring Break 2022 with our 3 boys, ages 10, 13, and 15. Our entire family loved this experience and I was impressed by just how much our kids enjoyed it too. Not only are the plants colorful and eye-catching, but they are so unique and interesting - conversation starters for sure! We loved the different areas of the gardens - Water, Caribbean, Asian, Orchid, etc. It felt good to be outside, enjoying the fresh air, among such a beautiful atmosphere that we wouldn't necessarily experience anywhere else. Naples Botanical Garden is well suited for adults, older adults, and couples, as well as for families with tweens and teens. Bring a Smartphone or camera - many awesome photo ops here! (If it's too hot, or if you're short on time, skip the 1 mile Lake Trail.)

Everything was wonderful....honestly I can't say much more than to give it a 100%
Just being there calmed us down from all the crazy traffic up the street

We spent a lovely 2-3 hours visiting, and enjoying the various gardens. It is well organized, well-maintained, beautiful water features - ponds, fountains. The Brazilian garden was our favorite, but the Florida, Asian, and other gardens were also superb. We were able to socially distance. Be sure to make a reservation in advance.

Beautiful gardens. Loved the orchids. They smelled heavenly.
Every area was worth walking around. The sculptures were cool especially the twisted sticks and the animal friends.
The entrance fee was a bit much though .

This is a large area divided into many interesting and varied gardens. At present there is a Frida Kharlo exhibition with a reconstruction of her Casa Azul with plants and flowers that she would have known. There is a lovely orchid garden. This is family friendly, offering a free kids pack. Garden yours are available. There is a good restaurant. It is pricey at $25 for adults, children under 3 are free, but you can spend all day there. Plenty of parking.

We so missed the gardens when they were closed due to the pandemic. But they're open again and as usual, it's a wonderful experience to view all the beautiful gardens. So glad this is only 15 minutes from my home.

The Naples Botanical Garden may not be real big but is definitely beautiful, thoughtfully created and a lovely place to spend a few hours.

Beautiful experience, walking and enjoying the greenery!! Butterfly garden is wonderful and the lunch options were great! Lego display was amazing!

Incredible collection of orchids on view. Fun special installments (Alice in Wonderland was a feature during our 2nd visit). Plentiful cacti and succulent variations. Comfortable temperatures even on the hottest days due to foliage cover. A great way to spend a few hours. great gift shop too. We’ve been multiple times.

You'll love how they've blended water features, art, and cool structures right into the garden. Perfect for a chill walk, taking pics, or just finding a quiet spot to relax

Gardens are only open until 2pm but they charge admission for a full day. At mid day we were required to leave.
A friend is a member but complains that is virtually impossible to get there due to the early mid day closing.
These Gardens are only open 5 hours a day and closed 19 hours a day. They still expect full admission price to be paid for both non-members and members. It is hard to get to the Gardens with such little time they are open.

We went for Christmas. It was gorgeous and they had a great live band. Very Zen like place. Want to go during the day. 170 acres of unspoiled jungle.

There is lots to do and see here, but the tickets are $20/person. Besides the actual gardens, the surrounding trails are pretty uneventful.

We visited the holiday lights at the Botanical Gardens in Dec, 2020, and it was really beautiful. We had heard about it in previous years, but finally decided to go this year, and it was really worth the effort. Every tree and plant with lit up some way, and the combination of lights everywhere was such spectacular. We loved it, and can't wait to see it again next year!

We spent two hours here having a nice leisurely walk around the gardens to see the various exhibits and greenery. Lots to see and worth a trip there!

This has to be one of the most superior botanical gardens in the Southern United States. I went with my family in early January when the Christmas decorations were still up and towards closing, the Garden lit up some of the exotic trees. Bigger than I thought, I'm glad I didn't miss this opportunity to explore this tropical paradise. So much to photograph and admire, blooming water plants, and trees and flowers from all over the world. I walked the entire path around Lake Tupke, attracting a large variety of wading birds and also providing good views of ospreys and egrets. Not to be missed is the White Birding Tower which provided extensive wildlife habitat. This garden is not to be missed while you are in the Naples area. Before you exit, make sure you see some magnificent orchids, which was one of my favorite sights here. In the giftshop I was a little surprised that no brochure or book was available on the Botanical Gardens. Just a minor point and well worth the price of admission.

It was plethora of orchids on display. Many many varieties of orchids to enjoy. My wife even purchased one for our home. There were guides providing information and demonstrations. Please see the attached pictures.

The gardens are well manicured and have a nice variety. I particularly enjoyed the water gardens, so many water Lillies and Lilly pads.

A beautiful gem! Flora and fauna- exquisite. A wonderful way to spend a cool spring morning walking and enjoying all the beauty of sw Florida.

Amiable botanical garden with, at the moment, various monumental 'root' sculptures scattered throughout as well as several touches of whimsy. Many different garden 'rooms' and a substantial length walking trail for solitude. I visited in the later afternoon, and midway through the exploration workers were driving around turning on the Christmas lights display. As dusk approaches early now, you essentially got the Xmas light show effect without spending the Xmas dollars. At full price I would have been a little let down (I live near gardens that go all out for Christmas and decorate with lots of animated lighting displays including sequential light birds in flight, etc.) but as an added unexpected bonus it was a nice surprise and added dimension.

Well worth a visit to this wonderful garden. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Plan your visit today!

Beautiful! What a lovely place to spend an afternoon. I joined with an annual membership, and can't wait to see the winter Night Lights.

My wife and I had enjoyed these lights so much we went again. A beautiful display of white, red, blue and green lights. Words cannot describe this beautiful place. Please look at the attached photos to get a feel of the beauty of the gardens. You can purchase beer and wine by the glass. Hot dogs and other munchies are also available.
My wife and I have decided to make this a yearly tradition.

Spectacular garden! I have been there several times and I must say, each time is a brand new experience. Something new is blooming, it is day or night, Music sometimes is playing, Or I see some thing I’ve never seen before. The gardens are absolutely beautiful it is well laid out and easy to get around. A relaxing way to see God‘s natural beauty.

the relaxed pace of observing the beauty of this Garden. Lots of different types of trees, shrubs, flowers gardens from local to other parts of the world. There were many types of orchids and they were beautiful!

Next to a walk on the Gulf Coastline, coming to the Naples Botanical Gardens is transformative. It is the most wonderful vacation you can take in nature; the plants and ponds are exquisitely laid out with vegetation and beautiful flowers appear wherever you look. When you walk around the lake, it is so pristine and untouched, you can imagine what it was like before civilization arrived and made its mark. Nature is so healing and calming and wherever you are in the Gardens, you can tap into that fundamental beauty and feel truly connected to Nature. It is a treat for all the senses!

Gorgeous! Beautifully done and so full of flowers, bushes, ponds and waterfalls. Four of us enjoyed every moment and took many pictures.

This place is so beautiful! If you are visiting Naples make sure to add this to your list of things to do! We were here on a Sunday and it wasn’t crowded. We also enjoyed the Clyde Butcher exhibit. Many of the plants are labeled and one can go on your phone for more details.

One of the to do on our roadtrip to Naples. I love visiting Botanical gardens worldwide, now that I'm stuck here in the USA exploring places closer to home, this seemed like a great way to spend our last few hours in Naples. Mask were required, but you are allowed to take it off once there aren't others around. The tickets are timed because well covid -so less folks allowed. The paths some are closed off. We spent just under two hours there roaming, taking pictures, learning about the plants. I'm usually excited to see the Japanese gardens, here they have a Chinese garden that is just okay. I perhaps thought there would be bonsai trees. My friend thought more could be done with the Chinese garden. My favorite is the Brazilian section. Loved the orchids as well.
BONUS- I got to take a tree/scrub home as part of their community initiative program.

Very nice place to visit, i would recommend going as early as possible, it does have some shade but many open areas as well, so many plants and critters, the garden design is impressive and the staff is amazing, do the tours it worth it for sure, all in all we spent 2 hours there, it cost $25 pp which is little bit much but worth it, dont forget your sun cream abd your bug spray and your bottle of water.

Went for the day and left in one hour. Poor to non existent signage left us walking in circles and not knowing what we were looking at.

What a lovely botanical garden - so well laid out - beautifully done. The Orchid garden was especially interesting and informative. Take a walk all around the lake and see lots of wildlife - see the birding area as well.
A MUST SEE when in Naples.

What a beautiful place this is. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend if you are in Naples. Admission includes an hour long guided tour which was very informative and well narrated. The cafe serves a wide variety of quickly prepared food which we enjoyed outside overlooking the gardens. Everything is well manicured and carefully tended. There are many pieces of art nestled in the gardens.

We went to this park after the failure due to cancellation of a tour contracted with Trypadvisor. We had to look for an alternative and we went on our own to the botanical park and it was an spectacular visit.

I love walking around this green space like no other in Naples. The Orchid section is a peaceful perfect corner in the garden. I loved that I was able to bring in my puppy for a stroll in the garden. Magnificent place.

We spent almost 3 hours there walking a little over 2 miles covering each of the areas. Very impressive entry and a few blooming areas.

Honored to spend the day with some beautiful flowers, both the garden-variety and girlfriend variety. A magical place. Plan on at least spending 2 1/2 ++ hours at the gardens. The Fogg café is amazing, very clean and “covid” friendly. Excellent variety of healthy meals using local ingredients. The chopped salad and the watermelon salad are off the chart!! Indulge yourself with the hand cut fries... Parking is free but you have to schedule your tickets online ahead of time for entry as they are timed now. These gardens are not a part of the American Horticultural Society, so you cannot use your membership to gain reciprocal access —- but you can get a discount if you are a member. Just ask. Extremely friendly/accessible. This place is enormous, but if you have trouble walking too much, they have electric scooter chairs to use. Right now you will need to purchase or reserve your tickets before you arrive at the Garden because of Covid protocols. So, here’s the cool thing - dog walking days are Sundays and Tuesdays from 9 -11am.

Can't wait for the garden to be open, it is most calming and beautiful place in the world. So glad to have one in Naples
No music
The lights were beautiful but they were not playing Christmas music. Took away from the event. Not sure I would return.
