We tried out luck at the Ocean Resort Casino on our trip to Atlantic City. The casino is not too big. They have mostly video slot machines with the center for table games. It’s a nice clean casino with an easy walk around. The beverage service was fast and easy. The winning was not optimal.

I'm so glad that this property opened back up after the Revel closed only two years after being built. This is the northern most casino property on the boardwalk, very plush and I'd say probably the queen of Atlantic City. We did not stay here but we did play slots in the casino.. The slots were actually paying out some and my friend won some bonuses. My friend is the gambler and plays a lot more than me, mostly penny machines for .50 to $1.25 a spin. He actually left with more than he came in with. If he spends $80 in a casino and walks out with $20 to $50 or more than he came in with, that"s a good day. The casino is nice, same slots as you see in all the other casinos. Nothing different or unusual as far as slots, just the same old everyday run of the mill that you find in all the casinos. Just the decor and opulence is worth spending time here playing. I will definitely stop here again if I ever make it back to Atlantic City.

The best hotel casino on the Boardwalk. They spent a lot of money fixing this place up and rebuilt the beach. Love it!

The hotel itself is big and beautiful and has so many wonderful features. For example, there are beautiful quiet areas for sitting/meeting away from the noise and crowd. This seems like a little thing but it is not offered at a lot of venues and makes a big difference. The proximity to the ocean and boardwalk is great. There are outdoor seating areas with fire pits with ocean views. There are a variety of restaurants/food options. The room had a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean with floor to ceiling windows. The facility is expanse and this can create anxiety for some people. I would recommend requesting a map and setting a marker for orientation to aid in this. This is a little thing that could make a big difference to someone. Unfortunately, the facility is not well maintained. There were stains on the furniture in the room, fingerprint smudges on the windows and high touch areas. The bathroom shower had a lot of rust on the towel rack, dirt stains and smudges on the tile and dirty, scummy areas along the grout lines. Except for the rust, a little water and paper towel was able to greatly reduce this. This leads me to believe that regular basic cleaning practices are not followed. In a sitting area near the lobby, I noticed the grand floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view. However, these were also not maintained. There were stains on them which quickly diminished the view. The floors have also clearly not been waxed in some time as they were absent of a shine that is often seen in well kept places. In-between the walls and some areas were long standing dirt/dust accumulations which have not been tended to. On the ceiling in several spots were water stained areas and peeling paint.
I did find the staff very pleasant and helpful. I had an issue regarding something and asked for assistance. They were very helpful and I'd soon realized I'd made a mistake about something. Anyone I encountered was professional and helpful.
This hotel has so many wonderful features but they were hard to enjoy because of the things noted above. I had planned on staying for two nights but just could not. I couldn't help but think, if this is how things are in plain sight, what was I not seeing? In many buildings there are department supervisors who make spot checks to ensure quality. I wondered about that in this hotel because it doesn't seem like it is in place. Then I wondered which group/company owned this hotel. I wondered how this might speak to an apparent lack of accountability regarding quality assurance measures. I do know that whatever magnificence I was able to see in this venue, it is not sustained because of the those noted areas. These things are easy to correct and I hope they will be. The features of the hotel can easily make it a favorite! Until such time, I do not plan on staying again.

We have a great time. We went on a Thursday night and had a blast even if the tables were not kid to us (the sports book was). We spent time in the sports book and loved the bartenders, the great seating and willing cashiers helping us with our bets.

We did Villians and Saints for happy hour and Trivia (we won a $75 GC!).

The rooms were great and beds were AWESOME.

The only thing they are missing is some live music on Thursday nights. Nothing big, just a small band or a person playing guitar.

we stayed overnight August 15-16..everything was excellent as usual, but today we noticed that a $50 and a $10 gift card from Beacon 70 in Brick NJ was missing from our glove compartment..OK, we should not have left anything in the car that has any value, but we have been coming here for a long while, no problems until now...we will be self parking from now on instead of Valet, it is free, and we won't be leaving anything in the car...we also probably won't be staying overnight anytime soon, our last comp room was August--none in Sept or Oct...

Upgraded to black card! Beautiful room ... ocean view.. large king bed... clean and fresh! Great Resturant... American Cut and Amada .. good food and nice staff. Ate at VIP for brunch and all was good... except omelet guy snappy and rude. Machines allow you to play and win instead if just loading it with money. I felt like I could play for hour... so happy about that... free valet parking ... free play could be larger ... only $40 and ur went quickly.
My overall rate would be a 9/10! Keep up the good job Ocean Resirt!

Making rounds during our stay in AC popped in to the Ocean. The building presents as “tired” and not well maintained, all decor & customer touch areas would benefit from a deep cleaning,

It is a physically attractive casino but don't expect to be treated well. When I arrived, my driver pulled up in the wrong place. The hotel representative outside was very abrupt (not quite rude) with me. I spent a fair amount of time in the casino. This was a pleasant experience. I purchased tickets to HQ nightclub. When we arrived, we were not allowed in because we were wearing shorts. Although their website mentions it, we did not see it because it was not visible during the ticket purchase process. We were treated very rudely at the door. I emailed ticketweb for tickets for another date. They said no and are currently not returning my emails. I also sent an email to their reservations contact. Again, no response. I have spent well past the time it is worth for the cost of the tickets but I am so surprised at the lack of customer service that I do not want to give up. My first experience was really nice since I attended with someone who is fairly well-known. I won't come back even though I spend summers a few miles away in Longport.

Stayed here one night for halloween weekend and the room was super clean and spacious. Love the view with floor to ceiling windows. I would glady stay here again

We were looking to take a 3 day weekend and I was checking out Hyatt properties and found out that a Hyatt property was in Atlantic City and Its called Ocean Resort Casino. What a beautiful property and we had such a great time. Looking foward to going back again

This property has great potential & only due to the contemporary and modern look/feel is the sole reason I keep returning. However, Housekeeping & Management needs to pay close attention to cleanliness especially in these times...there's always hair in the bathrooms and one time the Sheets actually had holes in them (unacceptable). It should be noted that I always walk with a cleaning package including Disinfectant spray, liquid & wipes to sanitize and disinfectant surfaces since I don’t trust Housekeeping to efficiently carry out their jobs.

My most recent check-in, a "Non-Smoking Room" was absolutely horrendous, dirty & stink of smoke, which is a nightmare for sinus/allergy sufferers. There was actually some sort of liquid left on the countertops. Called to make a report & whoever answered was unconcerned & could care less, which is disheartening. She needs to both value her job & partake in a customer service training. After returning to Front Desk & physically requesting a room change, we encountered Lyric who was amazing, apologetic & professional but super sweet…a breath of fresh air after being so frustrated. Other than that, I had a much needed relaxing & unwinding getaway. In terms of room decor it is subtle yet charming, absolutely love the glass walk in shower, double sinks & welcome message displaying your name on the Flat Screen which is a nice & personal touch. Not to mention, beautiful & scenic views of the Boardwalk. Hopefully when I return Management will address the issues of cleaning standards & improved customer service.

We like the location of this hotel because it is at the end of the beach (north end) so it isn't as crowded right outside the hotel/casino on the boardwalk or beach. The views from the rooms are very nice due to the unique shape of the building. The restaurants are good but you have to be aware that not all are open everyday depending on the time of year.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but they are giving rooms to some very ratchet people.i guess there selling rooms cheap.the hotel itself is beautiful.but what good is it if your letting ghetto trash in.

By Alexis B |

The staff wasn’t friendly. I didn’t win anything on the machines even as a new member. Took all my money. And there was no rewards other than than just food discounts. Hard rock casino is far better in the Atlantic City area. It’s a shame Nice inside wonderful restaurant options and food. Casino slot machine games suck and they don’t let you win anything except just take all your money.

My husband and I travel from PA to The Ocean once a month. it is our get away place. We work hard to play hard, and we enjoy the time we are there. We get there Tuesday late afternoon and stay until Thursday after once a month. Lisa and Anthony Musetti

The hotel/resort is very beautiful, however our room wasn’t very updated & it was dirty upon check-in which was addressed w/ the front desk, they we’re supposed to send someone up to re-clean the room (a different room wasn’t offered nor did I request one) but they didn’t come until the next day. There was huge hair balls on the shower floor, the surfaces of dresser/night stand were filthy as well as the handles. When they came to clean the next day, the handles still weren’t cleaned.. They never brought new shampoo/conditioner at the time of the cleaning… (very small tubes, should be replaced daily esp when there is more than 1 person staying in the room). The entry area floor wasn’t cleaned either upon check-in. My feet were sticking… We had to request a coffee maker, which they sent up fairly quick. We loved that there was an outdoor hot tub in cool weather, it was our favorite part of the stay. Very relaxing! The room service was pretty good. Downstairs in the lobby they also had good food at Caffeccino .. Nice partial views of ocean. Nice fire pits outside. 24 hr store w/ necessities was a positive. We stayed here for 2 nights and than headed over to Hard Rock which I am giving 5 stars. For the money we spent on the room for 2 nights in a resort that charges $30 resort fees per night, I would have appreciated a spotless room.. :(

By Experience599948 |

This property is declining. Room was filthy. Bathroom had black mold, stains everywhere including the sheets and dust everywhere. It was even missing a chair! In addition why are we paying resort fees when limiting my access to amenities such as the pool with a time limit.
This resort has so much to offer, it is a shame that housekeeping will give this place a bad name. Send your staff over to Borgata to see what a clean room looks like upon check in.
The kicker of all of this, is despite what the management response is to our reviews, they honestly could care less about feedback. I sent an email to them upon my return and never even got a response. That speaks volumes.

We enjoyed our little getaway retreat. The hotel is huge and gorgeous. The casino was not smokey. The room was spacious and the ocean view was amazing. Unfortunately, the bed was not so comfortable. However, we were over the moon with the shower. The water temperature and pressure worked wonders, providing the soothing relaxation our tired aching backs and muscles needed. We also booked a visit to the Exhale Spa.

ocean seems to be much better than revel was. every area was very clean. casino floor easy to manage

we recently spent 3 nights at the Ocean Casino. beautiful building and as a non smoker, the casino floor was fine. We wanted to have lunch at the Sky Cafe but we sat at the bar waiting for the bartender to server us. We were the only people at the bar and sat there close to 15 minutes and the bartender only served people who walked up the bar. Completely ignored us. We left and went to Wahlburgers and had a ball, friendly, and fun staff and good food and drinks . Next visit to Ocean , and we are going back, heading right back to Wahlburgers

We have been to Ocean Resort Casino twice in the last 6 months. There is no reason to go anywhere else. The staff is super helpful, the restaurants are great, the casino is, well, a really great casino! It is adult oriented with the Burlesque bar complete with blackjack tables and scantily clad pole dancers. :-)
Can't wait to go back!

My friend and I usually stay at Harrah's Resort in the marina district. We decided to try this property out. We had a one-bedroom suite with a nice ocean view for one night. The room was clean when we checked in. The staff was very friendly and upbeat. The casino had tables and slots that were reasonable. Most other casinos were too high. We ate at the Café and our server Megan. She was amazing! Overall our experience was amazing and I will defiantly come back to this property.

By Firstcabin123 |

The rooms are spacious with lovely views. Nice touch of class to have hotel lobby/check in away from the casino floor.
The Ocean theme is repeated throughout the property, plenty of natural light in common areas and beautiful, well maintained aquariums.

We went during the week, so some of the restaurants were not open. I did enjoy the happy hour with $7 appetizers at Saints & Sinners lounge.

The Spa is nice, we booked a massage special. Be aware a gratuity is automatically added at check out. The co-ed mineral pool was relaxing and there are separate men’s and women’s lounges.

I didn’t find the slot machines to be tight, you just have to know when to walk.

Will happily return.

Excellent hotel nice restaurants places to shop great employees all around the rooms are huge big TVs nice pools and right oon the boardwalk definitely recommend this place for a great getaway specially in the summer

By Rammorales |

Great rooms, great views! Staff was fantastic! I recommend grabbing a cocktail at the main bar in the lobby and walk outside, enjoying the beautiful view.

By Neha B |

I enjoyed my stay with my 1 year old. The king room are large enough to set up his pack and play. I was apparently on the newly renovated floor (33rd). The views are great and we enjoyed access to the beach and board walk. The pool is busy with kids but we were there with our little one for small time so it was okay. But I can see how adults may not enjoy it. The dining options are great and some restaurants like Amada had amazing food. I personally didn’t like you had to cross the casino to get to any restaurant as I was with my baby and hated to walk through the smoke. But I know it’s a casino resort! Overall I will definitely be coming back!

-I stayed at this property once before when it was Revel and was excited to go back and spend a few nights away with my husband and kids and our friends. With everything going on, we expected with new restrictions in place to have some things delayed but a lot of our experience seemed to stem from the property itself being unprepared and I expected a little more from a five star property.

****We were booked on the 7th floor, however after waiting 40 plus minutes with only 3 elevators stopping on our floor with a maximum of 4 people per elevator no-one waiting was able to get on. This led the group waiting of about 20 people to find the stairs and attempt to find an exit or get help from anyone working at the property, in which we were unsuccessful. I have a one year old and a five year old so my husband had to carry the stroller while I carried the baby and had my five year old following me hysterically crying because he was scared that we were stuck. There were empty Glass beer bottles on one of the stairs and some trash on others (pictures included) and the group of us struggled to find a way out that did not lead to having to still take the elevator to the lobby. We were able to exit through what seemed like a business center in which we saw an open office with lights on hoping to ask for assistance but no-one was in the office with the door open. After about an hour or more we found our way to the casino elevators and made our way out but this was concerning to everyone trying to leave the floor of the building especially since we had little ones crying.

-Rooms appeared to only be booked in one section of the hotel causing the elevator lines to wrap through the lobby and in some cases 45 mins to wait to get on, I attempted to ask to pay to upgrade our room within the first hour or so of being there to where our friends were (where there was never a line for the elevator) or anywhere in the Resort and was told I was unable to do so because everything was sold out even though per the website I could still book a room.

-We waited outside of the pool for about 45 minutes or longer to get in and I asked a front desk member about the capacity restrictions and I was told that there was no specific number in which the pool was at capacity just that it was at the pool managers discretion because our friends and I were determining if we should continue waiting in line with our six total children.

-The Exit sign right outside of our room dangling from the ceiling

-I spoke with a very nice front desk agent the night before we checked out to inquire about a late checkout and was told that they were not allowing late check outs, I proceeded to express to him my concerns about the incident earlier that day in the stairwell and he was possibly the only employee who seemed to think it was a legitimate concern. He let me know that he added notes in the system in which he seemed to be typing for quite some time and recommended that I should check out personally in the morning. However, when I checked out in the morning I felt that when I expressed my concerns about the incident, I was just told that yes it was noted in the computer that “I was upset about the elevator” in which made me feel as though I was being brushed off. I do expect with it having been the first week open to have some complications but I felt as though with such a prestige property I would have experienced far less issues and felt more acknowledged by the staff.

-There is a resort fee of approximately 30 dollars per Night on top of the rate and taxes with not much in the resort itself being open

-I planned on booking 5 nights for my husbands 40th birthday week at the end of the month and although the property itself is beautiful I am not sure I want to have to worry about the headache we experienced again.

This place was amazing & beautiful. The casino was quite large and had a great variety of slots. Only negative was it was quite cold. That was the reason we only stayed in there about a couple of hours or so.

Huge casino. Beautiful casino. Very enormous escalators that were so high, I got dizzy looking down.

By Trandnj |

We are currently staying at this hotel/ casino

Less than 24 hours into a 4 day stay and this is what we’ve experienced thus far

1. We specifically came here because hey offered adjoining rooms . We arrived and received adjacent rooms. This doesn’t work for us because we have 3 young boys.

We complained. We were told day 2 here would be adjoining room for us. Day 2 arrived, I called down to front desk and they said you need to come down and get in line to find out status...then after waiting in line I was told nothing is available. Only at that point when I said we are leaving did they offer adjoining rooms on a diff floor.

2. At every turn the service is terrible
They had one hostess on the floor last night. We gambled 4 hours and had her come by 2x. I finally started going to the bar and buying $11 drinks for my wife and myself.

When we did get our 2 drinks they were wrong (vodka tonic instead of vodka soda)

Most everyone we have come across working here has a terrible attitude

It took 40 minutes for my wife to get the car out of valet

It took 40 minutes to get a bell hop to move our rooms

Our toast and pancakes at breakfast came w no butter by the time the waitress returned to check on us and bring the butter the food was cold

3. The pool is disgusting. Not clean ... hair and grime all over drains on the indoor section ... the outdoor pool
Is tiny for the size of the hotel and there is no view of the ocean when inside the pool...

4. The fitness center is very nice with extensive equipment

No doubt at this rate this hotel
Will go under just like Revel before it. Borgata much better service and bang for the buck.

We stayed at the Ocean for our Anniversary 7/25 and 7/26. I am not the type of person that usually leaves bad reviews but this is the truth!! When we checked in right away we noticed that the room was dirty! We figured with Covid we could understand that maybe they were short staffed or something. My wife cleaned up the room and we went to the Casino. When we got back late that night my wife found a box of condoms and a used container of KY in our nightstand! The housekeeping manager was in my room the next morning apologizing and informed me that my resort fee would be refunded and another Manager would be contacting me that day. No one has reached out to me and no credit was given for the resort fee.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Great views. Easy parking. Felt secure. Concierge stored bag before check-in. Good WiFi.

By Richard B |

Front desk staff wasn't welcoming. No hello, no smile, no additional resort information other was provided other than sign here and take your key. Fool is somehow failing to see the city is dreary and needs the business.

By Rick B |

This was Chris Christi's biggest mistake
and it still doesn't seem to have much life
even though it's right on the beach.
I think NJ still owns this white elephant.

By E-NYNY |

I can’t believe how bad this hotel has become. This is my second 4-day stay in the last two months and my room was never cleaned on both occasions. We turned on our door light to request housekeeping, spoke with the staff in the hallway and we also called to request housekeeping. No one came to clean but they were cleaning other rooms. Their room furniture also looks worse for wear. We will not stay here again.

By roverirish |

The resort was friendly and clean until you want to go to closer and saw some outdated furniture in our room. However Professionalism of the staff for outshined small setbacks.

If you're looking to get away to a quiet casino in AC on the boardwalk this is the place for you. It was beautiful but very very quiet. Unlike normal hotels the check-in lobby is on the 12th floor. Parking is free which is nice. The casino itself was not lively at all.. no typical AC behavior of yelling at the tables.. Walbergers was located in this hotel and it was good but a bit pricey for what you get. I personally would rather be on the other end of the boardwalk as there's more action on that side but again if you're looking for easy going.. this is your place..

By Mea G |

Im staying at the hotel july 12 which is a combination of my birthday and 10yr anniversary. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to my partner booking. I would have never let him book it given these horrible reviews and check in being at 6 is unheard of. We only have this one day away from our kids and our hectic work schedules. I'm hoping our room is at least clean at the very bare minimum. I'll update tomorrow when I get there

By Grim128 |

Well all I can say is just another casino in Atlantic City. I'm not sure why they couldn't just redo one of the failed ones along the boardwalk but that's there choice. I will say I did win some money there which was good. I don't know much about the place really didn't even know it was there until we drove into town. It seems they are looking for the higher class crowd but I could be wrong. It is really nice but still just another casino along the way.

My husband and I had a fabulous time. HQ pool was so relaxing drinks and a day bed adults only . Lexi and Seabass were very accommodating. Our last day we went for breakfast at 500 cafe. There was a line and when we where seated we where told they where understaffed so someone would be with us as soon as. Scarlet came right to our table smile on her face got us coffee and a mimosa right away. She knows how to do her job. She told us she was a retired police officer. Thank you scarlet for your service and thank you for being a GREAT server. If you moved to RI I will hire you in a minute.

This review will be about Ocean claiming "Voted Best Comps In AC" by Casino Magazine. We don't think that is true any more.
We were high tier players in Harrah's, Golden Nugget and Tropicana for many years and decided to try Ocean Casino when they opened up in 2018. Comps were decent the last half of 2018 and first half of 2019 then they started to get less and less even though we attained their high (Black) card for 2019. Seemed the more we gambled the less we got in comps.Example - all 3 of the casinos mentioned above were giving us from $100 to $200 FREE play (based on our play there) each day to play there along with other merchandise gifts each weekend. Our play was relatively the same when we came to Ocean and at first they gave us $50 FREE play but only one time per weekend. That was ok with us as we knew we needed to build a play history with them but it then went to $40 and now $30 even though we earned the higher tier card. The gifts are really low quality and the same gift for any level of play. Some Casinos have different levels of gifts for different levels of play. We have stayed there at least 40 weekends in a little over a year and have complained about this to higher up executives and slot hosts and have been told that "its just the way it is" or "It'll get better". NOW they just made a higher level card that you need to earn 4 times as many points to be the highest level so our high Black card is now second tier. We are planning to move on from Ocean to a more appreciative Casino.

Three families came here on a Thursday night in August (2 of the families had kids under 5yo)and arrived around 10AM hoping for an early check in. Thankfully one of the three rooms were ready so we had access to change and have the hotel keys for the pool check in. We toured the lobby area and went outside to the patio area which was cool and had great views of the ocean. We had brunch at cafe 500 but it appears they had staffing issues as it took 30
Minutes for us to be seated. Food was decent but service was slow. The rooms are very nice and the shower is large with a bench and a separate area for the toilet. We were on the 23rd flood and had a view of the beach.

We then went to the indoor/ outdoor pool which was cool. They have a small access door from inside the pool to walk to the outdoor pool. There is an overhead shower giant sprinkler that shoots down into the indoor pool that most kids enjoyed. We tried the pina coladas from the outside pool bar but for $14 a piece
They were below average and not well portioned.

We initially made reservations at American Cut steakhouse but found there wasn’t any kid meal options. We then booked Villains and Saints. The meal was average and drinks weren’t very good. Don’t order cheese pizza for kids as it was terrible.

Parking garage is huge and was $10. Overall a pleasant stay but service department for restaurants was lacking. Gaming floor was nice. No progressive games which I found odd. Drink service was fairly prompt. Would stay here again and this place certainly has potential. Look up the history of the casino from when it was Revel. Very interesting. We also ordered takeout at lobby cafe for breakfast which was good.

Would definitely come back.

I'm here at the hotel now. The plan was to get away for a few relaxing days.

First issue is I was told I could upgrade upon arrival for an additional fee, that didn't happen.

I was great Ed in the elevator and hallways with a strong smell of weed. There's garbage on the floor in the room where the vending machine is located. At the moment the room next door is blasting music so no sleep for me.

The carpet is badly stained and my non smoking room smells like cigarettes and weed. I should have went to the Borgata like I usually do for my solo travels that are meant to relax.

Never again! Poor customer service skills at front desk by Supr Larry (#000689) and very poor signage. Be prepared to do a lot of walking if your are unfamiliar with the property as we were. Apparently, they do give out maps to some guests but not all as we never received one & had to resort to using the property map on my phone. We actually checked out early & did not stay for the 3rd night we had booked. Fire pit area outside the lobby is filthy, sticky elevator floors & mold in the bathroom shower Room 2137. Pizza & cheesesteak was inedible & was tossed after a few bites. Breakfast at Cafe 500 was average but Wahlburgers was excellent. Never could find access to Boardwalk pool as access doe was closed & sign said to access pool using Exlipse pool hallway but still never found the pool, even after talking with 4 employees on how to access the Boardwalk pool. Gambling was good & I did hit over 3k. Property Is very nice but never again. Borgota is sooo much better!

10/10 would absolutely recommend! Staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! Visually absolutely STUNNING. The property itself is jam packed with entertainment, restaurants, spa, etc. There was no need to even leave the resort, we didn’t want to! From the suites to the pools & cabanas to the nightlife- from beginning to end our stay was an absolute blast. All thanks to this amazing place and their employees! I will definitely be returning sooner rather than later and I already cannot wait! Thanks so much for an amazing weekend!

Checked out the Ocean View casino for the first time. Casino is bright colorful, well laid out with good assortment of slots and table games. Lots of restaurants to chose from didn’t see any sign of a buffet. Casino staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the casino so much on our first visit that we went back. Looking forward to our next visit will definitely stay here. We felt this was one of the top casinos in the area. Observation decks outside were interesting and provided a great view.

By Jaiden |

I like it I’ve been going with my dad for a while after leaving hard rock I like how it’s right on the boardwalk and the food is amazing but the only thing is the room cast on the tv in the suites in the rooms don’t work so you can’t watch YouTube or netflix which is very disappointing since hard rock did work. even though there is an option on the tv for it we go there almost every weekend

By RPMPhilly |

I stayed there for two nights to get away to work in solitude. Not the best choice for doing so given the distractions and the noise and high energy of the entire complex. The food options were terrific and the service was just average.

Go to have a great time with friends or loved ones. Enjoy the casino. Tour the beach and boardwalk.

By Taylor C |

I had the best time here with my friends. There’s so much to do I felt overwhelmed with the amount of restaurants and shops. The nightclub was also really awesome and upscale. My room had a fantastic view of the ocean and was beyond clean. Will definitely be back again.

We decided to visit Ocean Casino Resort based on the reviews we read on Columbus weekend. Upon arrival around 6pm we were told that the room we paid for directly through the hotel’s website was not available however they still took out the extra for the incidentals and told us we would have to wait or take a room we didn’t want so we waited. We were told by the front desk clerk that they couldn’t give us an approximate time when our room would be available but took our cell# to contact us when it was. We went down to the casino/restaurant floor for about an hour still no text in regards to our room so we decided to return to front desk and spoke with another clerk who called the manager Ms Madonna and she was able to rectify the problem and got our room. The room was modern, spacious and pretty clean. Our stay was good except for the checking in issues. We ate dinner at Villain&Saint and brunch at Harpers which were both good in price, portions&service.

We book a room for two nights (comp) for my son's 21st birthday, and spent our first day in a cabana at the Poseidon Pool. This turned out to be the PERFECT choice for trying to celebrate this milestone birthday during COVID. We invited 7 others to enjoy our 10-person cabana and shared a lovely day in the sun. We preferred this to the family pool where the lines were long and there were huge crowds.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we did a quick check-in so we could receive a text when our rooms were ready. That system worked perfectly and I never had any long waits during the entire process.

The room had a small amount of wear and tear (e.g., chairs), but the bathroom was quite lovely and we had a very nice stay. Sometimes the staff didn't seem to know the answers to basic questions (when asked during the stay and on the phone before the stay) which was a little surprising... like training was lacking.

Our service person at the Cabana (Bren) was lovely and he made us feel right at home.

Based on the lovely time we had, we plan to make this an annual trip and invite friends to enjoy the Cabana with us.

Ocean casino is new and very cool, valet parking is a bit different but once inside the casino what a treat, get a casino card for a good time on the gaming floor.

We were there during the Covid 19 ......We needed to just get away for a few days...They clean everything all the time and offered Free water to all people that entered there place....went 2 many other Casino's but this place was the only place to give out Free water .....Very nice Casino and the Room we stayed in was clean....The only problem is the pools are almost impossible to go to.....You wait in line for a chance to swim because they are limiting amount of people in pool area....Pool opens at 8am and we went at 7:30 and stood in line until 8:40 before we got in....when we left for lunch they took our wrist band and we had to wait in line again for almost an hour after we returned so we could go swimming again....We got very lucky as we saw massive lines at pools because people enter and never leave....That was the whole reason we went was to swim and it was very upsetting to have to wait for ever in lines....Won't go back again in the summer and hope that the off season will be better.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and found the casino surprisingly slow with traffic. The casino itself is very nice and clean and is very spacious and accommodating w new slot machines and wait staff seemed very nice.. the issue is the slot machines are the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life for payouts.. my wife and I both put a $100 in a video poker machine at the bar playing a quarter and it was gone within 10 minutes w neither of us ever getting more then 3 of a kind.. we looked at each other in total disbelief and said wow... the machines are programmed to give you two pairs or three of a kind with nothing better... please, patrons stay away from the slot machines there!!! The tables were ok but the slot machines payouts were horrendous!

NICE clean, open floor plan, Very nice NON-Smoking area, GOOD Video Poker! Friendly Slots, had LOTS of fun here. Too bad I found it on the last day, I would have played here all week.

This is my place in AC. Easy park and multiple play. Started at Top Golf then hit the slots while sitting over the Ocean. Next to Wm Hill to watch a game and cash some tickets. Hit the Mexican food truck for best nachos in town. Been hitting AC since 84 and have found my last place.

If We had a ocean view it would be nice. Our room is just not what I expected. I came down to celebrate my Birtday which is on Halloween and was planning to stay until
Monday. Less than a day here is good enough for Me. Thanks but No Thanks.

Love staying at Ocean! Always have a great view in any room with their floor to ceiling windows! The restaurants within the hotel are great too!

My wife and I love , love , love this resort . We are frequent guests and I am a Black
cardmember . I am especially impressed with the service of the staff in the VIP area.
This past summer could not of been easy , working in tough hot conditions. I have only
one gripe I called to ask for a host , was told I would have one assigned . In all my trios
6 this summer alone., No one checked in us , called me , or actually made an effort to produce any comps. The room i gained on my own merit. We continue to go, in fact re there this weekend. I just have a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth for being ignored. Been there many times and many times after reopen .

Nonna the hotel “ supervisor “ was by far the rudest most deplorable person I have ever spoken to
Our suite that is literally 5,000$ for 4 nights ( although sitting here in the disgusting room that had peanuts all over the floor upon check in is only 1533.00 for same dates ) screamed at me was disgusting and screamed over me because the room was filthy?!!!!! Tough guy on the phone - see you at checkout though sweetheart
The ONLY REASON we stayed is due to an amazing housekeeping supervisor who apologized for the treatment I received, also my kids are highly allergic to peanuts and was so apologetic
This “ supervisor “ NONNA IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE WE WILL NEVER COME BACK
I HOPE YOUR BOSS SEES THIS AND THROWS U OUT ON YOUR DISGUSTING FACE

Beautiful room view. Customer service rep was extremely RUDE!!!! We booked this hotel mainly because of the indoor pool for our 6 yr old. NO Where online said the pool was closed. I even called to confirm the pool was opened. When we got there of course the pool was closed. When went to speak with someone about it, he was RUDE RUDE RUDE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! also, they charged my card an extra $60 and when I ask what was it for the customer rep was not nice at all. I just wanted clarification. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, only because there staff is extremely rude.

Dont see the manager Roberto at the main lobby, super unprofessional. Casino is nice and clean. Players card does not give many comps. Go to Hard Rock for better comps.

A lot of these reviews are for the hotel even though there is a separate listing for that. so be aware those reviews are skewing the rating for this attraction.

The casino looks beautiful and you can see that a lot of money was poured into it. Parts of the casino were uncomfortably cold. Maybe that's fitting since the machines are so cold too. Their comps are terrible and do not encourage you to come back. There was an awful lounge act performing when we were there and it was clashing with the decent music they were playing in the casino.

Yes. Ocean Resort Casino is pretty to look at and roomy and clean. However, cold temperatures, money getting quickly sucked up by the machines and insulting comps will keep me from visiting again.

This "casino" is a complete criminal scam. I deposited $1000 into their scam online casino, thinking my money was safe as it is supposedly regulated by the state of New Jersey. They offered a $500 deposit bonus but you had to wager $150,000 in action on their shaky, gitchy platform in order to claim it. I gambled for some time and wound up losing $50. When I tried to withdraw the remaining $950 of my deposit, the computer blocked me from doing so. When I called customer service, they said inexplicably that I forfeit all my deposit money since I didnt finish the bonus. I said that cannot be true, please check with a supervisor. Then the agent came back and said no, that was incorrect and I would be able to withdraw my remaining $950 of my deposit money. She swore to me that I would be able to withdraw my money so I allowed her to forfeit the bonus. As soon as she forfeited the bonus MY DEPOSIT MONEY THAT I NEVER LOST WAS GONE. I spent weeks trying to get the issue resolved and I was hung up on and ignored and my account was locked. Weeks later, my money is still gone. Flat out stolen. I never imagined these NJ casinos could get away with outright theft but they can. Beware! DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY INTO THIS HORRID SCAM AND THEFT OPERATION.

I’m extremely disappointed by how I was treated at Ocean Casino Resort during a bachelorette celebration this past weekend. Prior to the event, I contacted customer service to confirm the dress code and was explicitly assured that I could wear flat-soled sandals due to a medical condition that prevents me from wearing heels.

Despite this, when I arrived, I was denied entry by a bouncer who showed zero concern for the accommodation I had confirmed in advance. He was dismissive, rude, and told me to “go buy sneakers.” No reason was given—just a flat-out refusal that went against what I had been told by their own staff.

As a result, I lost the value of the ticket and transportation, and completely disrupted what was supposed to be a celebratory night for the bride and our group. The experience was humiliating and incredibly frustrating.

I’ve since tried to request a refund and was denied, despite clearly doing my due diligence. The lack of accountability is shocking, especially from a resort of this size and reputation.

After this experience, I can’t recommend it to anyone. If you have a disability or require accommodations, be warned: this resort does not take accessibility seriously.

Booked a 3 day here to enjoy the facilities and enjoy the ocean front room. The service here does not match up to their “Luxury” look. The people that work in this resort lack passion. No one smiles, everyone looks miserable, no one knows where anything or place is, and this place has me questioning about the security of the place. So many ways non guest can sneak in to use the pool or even go upstairs to any guest room with out any key. There is a “security” guard in areas that they are supposed to monitor if you are a guest or not... but like I said. They lack passion and just don’t care. The room is gorgeous but unfortunately it didn’t feel clean. We checked into the room, it just looked like they made the bed, and left clean towels. You can tell, the hotel did not mop or vacuum the guest room floors because of all the foot print stains and they definitely didn’t clean the bathroom sink area....lots of stains on the table and bathroom sink area. I understand it’s “Covid” times but if this hotel takes pride as being “high end” and “most luxurious” and charge “high end” prices....even during pandemic times... the least they can teach their staff is to put on a smile and show some fake passion. Also, I should add... when I arrived early to check, the place was practically empty... I didn’t understand why the restrooms next to the check in desk was filthy... (smelled, dirty, every toilet was gross, and some stalls with no toilet tissue)....great way to welcome guests...2 stars for the views only.

Ocean Resort Casino is the BEST Casino on the Boardwalk. It's not only a beautiful casino, it has so many delicious choices for food. The main problem is, it takes a LOT to earn points!! They need to loosen up. It's easier to earn points at Harrah's & The Borgata!!

A friend of mine and I stayed August 21 - 25. We stayed on the 45th floor, which had an excellent view. Not sure if I want to be that high again. Had a ball and we are not really gamblers. The hotel offers a lot to do. The only fault I found in our room was that the lamp shades had holes in them. Other than that, I have no complaints. Service was excellent.

The casino is lovely. The slots pay or take away as much as any casino. My objection is that I have been unable to reach any type of customer service person.

Both Golden Nugget and Hard Rock offer tier multipliers. This would be a very big incentive for me to aim for a renewal of my Prime card. The slot dollar multipllier is not worth the effort. You get 1 times the first day. If it is a 10X, you get the additional 9X the next day. For me this often amount ts to losing $300 and getting $6.50 in slot play. Hardly worth the effort.

However, the tier point multiplier would bring me back often!

The hotel was very roomy. Very spacious and not stuffy like most casinos resorts in AC. The lobby and outside promenade gave a real resort feeling and not just a hotel casino. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pillows and sheets were fresh and clean. I went there for a golf trip so I wasn't there much during the day. I also ate out at places outside of the hotel at night so I can't say much about the restaurants. But for a place to sleep and relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views, the Ocean's resort was above my expectations.

My partner and I have been going to this casino for over two years, every two weeks faithfully (Wesley J # 20371211). To be so loyal to a casino that allows their dealers and managers to disrespect you is appalling.

This past Sunday (1/28) around 2:30-3am, at the Spanish 21 table the dealer named Yolanda stated I requested to "hit" and I didn't. The table and I informed the dealer that I did not request to "hit" on my hand and the dealer Yolanda basically called me a liar. The manager Sammi was called, and I explained to her what happened and out of frustration of being called a liar, I was used profanity while expressing myself. I didn't curse at anyone directly, I just used profanity once while expressing frustration. The manager Sammi told Yolanda to burn the card and then demanded I apologize to the dealer for using profanity. I felt bad so I agreed and apologized. Sammi then demanded I say the words "I'm sorry" or the table will be shut down. She scowled me as if I was a child and I felt extremely embarrassed. She continued to threaten that the table will be shut down more than once if I did not say the words "I'm sorry". I then I said, "I'm sorry". The game continued and the dealer Yolanda threw my chips at me TWICE. This was witnessed by my partner and the other guests at the table. I called Sammi again to tell her that the dealer threw my chips at me, and the manager told me that she didn't think Yolanda would that. I asked her if she could speak to surveillance to review the tapes. Sometime later I followed up with Sammi and asked her if she got any feedback from surveillance in which she yelled at me saying "they are busy!" At that point myself, my partner, and another patron who has had an incident with this manager decided to leave.

The manager never followed up with me about the video footage and I never got an apology from this manager. The manager and dealer were extremely unprofessional. The table manager Anthony was extremely nice and helpful to me. I would like for upper management to review the video footage and follow up with me. As of today, I have not heard from anyone. Extremely disappointing experience for a loyal guest.

It was my first time staying at Ocean in July and was booked for 5 days. Overall the casino and the outdoor areas are beautiful but cleanliness of the hotel was a big disappointment. Cleanliness is extra important these days with Covid but seems Ocean is slacking. First off the room was supposed to be non smoking yet wreaked of smoke and when I asked for a different room I was told there was nothing else available. It took 2 days for the smoke odor to dissapate. The chairs and bed even smelled of it. There were food crumbs on the floor by the chairs when we arrived. The next day housekeeping never even showed up. The following day they came however that night when we came back to our room the same crumbs were still there which obviously tells me they never vacuumed. There was garbage in the halls and boxes of garbage even left by the elevators. Very sad that a beautiful resort/casino like this dropped the ball on cleanliness especially during these times. There should be more attention to cleaning here. I even took another chance and returned for another trip in September and seems not much has changed. It's back to Borgata for me!

By beachsand49 |

Not sure why more people do not stay here. I thought it was because it was on the end of the Boardwalk so not easy to get to, but you can say the same for the Borgata. The rooms were clean with a nice view of the ocean. The whole layout was nice including the pool area, where they have chairs to sit and look out at the ocean. We went in late October so the weather was like a normal fall day. The pool is outdoor/indoor. The outdoor portion was heated. Wish we brought our bathing suits. The only downside (and this is the same for other casino-hotels in Atlantic City) is that not all restaurants are open during the week in the fall and winter. Ate at Pit Boss BBQ. Very good!! Would stay here again as long as the prices are reasonable.

I received 3 free nights at Ocean Casino which my family goes to all the time because of their pool. Not even an hour into my trip, it sadly took a turn for the worse. First the bathroom smell on the 6th floor was disgusting- everything else about the room was nice. My phone got stollen an hour into being on the casino floor. There wasn’t even a 20 min gap from my last call to when I reported it. They told me they saw nothing on the camera except me putting it in my bag. I called metro to have them review the camera. Again, was told nothing was seen BUT the officer had to leave so missed five minutes. With that being a strange answer I followed up again with the officer the next day. At this point he finally stated that yes they did see someone steal my phone BUT because they couldn’t ID the person since so much time had passed, all they could do was check pawn shops out. Highly doubtful. Again when the complaint was filed it was a 20 min gap plus they could look up my card to see exactly what machine I was at. The security was one of the most unprofessional group of people I have met. To even claim they last saw it in my bag is a disgrace. As if I didn’t know there are cameras everywhere. So disappointed & super disgusted by their customer service. Just be aware because as the metro cop stated “yes, he was lurking around you”. Glad it was just a phone.

I had a 2 overnight stay at Ocean resort and the view is spectacular but the drink service that I received from Jasmine the drink server on the casino floor was outstanding. She was nice and friendly and possessed a great sense of humor. This amde my stay even more special. Jasmine is a great representative of the Ocean resort brand.

It's our 4th night here and I would have left if I wouldn't have forfeited the last night's stay. This room is disgusting, honestly. There are stains all around the floor and bed. Whoever made the bed made it in such a horrible way that we are constantly having to fix the sheets so they will cover the nasty duvet. Why can't the thing enclose the duvet completely instead of having 2 open ends of sheets? And the beds, oh God, they are really soft and my back has hurt so badly since getting here. I never get back pain after staying in a hotel, so you know it's bad. The housekeepers barely cleaned this room. The windows in the bathroom are covered in dirt and there is dirt everywhere! The people who work here are really loud in the hallways, yelling at each other across the way, with no thought to people being in the rooms and not wanting to hear their life stories. And it goes on all day, not just for a short amount of time a day. There aren't enough plugs. Things aren't plugged in, like lamps, that are difficult to plug in so we barely had light in the room. The air conditioner worked well and the shower was decent. The view was awesome as well. The best part of the place was the Wahlburgers has amazing rootbeer shakes! Also, the pool off the boardwalk in the other building was pretty good. Last thing I want to mention is when you book this hotel, it says TAXES AND FEES and gives you a number. You think the fees must be the resort fees because it doesn't give you a breakdown. Nope, it's dishonest and misleading and you find out later that you owe another $125. Surprise! I'm going to write to the attorney general about this because they shouldn't misrepresent their fees on their confirmation page by using the word "fees." We definitely will not be returning. It's so crucial to get good sleep so you can enjoy your vacation. You are going to have a hard time doing that here IMO!

I’ve stayed at Ocean 6 or 7 times this year, at least once a month since January. Absolutely love it here! Room was always clean and comfortable. Service was outstanding but haven’t tried most restaurants. Harpers breakfast can’t be beat but it’s a bit pricy. Cafe500 breakfast reasonably priced and delicious. Love the new vip lounge! Every other casino you have the casino, room or beach. Ocean has so much more, the outside seating areas, fire pits, corn hole, roof top pool, etc. Only place I’ll stay

By TravelingLL |

I am not new to staying overnight as a guest at this resort. I will start with the positive first. The bedding is extremely comfortable, nice huge bathroom which is a plus for a woman. The front desk for me was courteous and the line during my check in before 2 pm was fast and no line. I had 2 rooms but only 1 was available but I won’t make a fuss about it because I had one room ready to go.

Now the not so positive review:
I was concern the safety precautions the hotel took during this time would not go so well with department of health. One security check point is more concern with the mobile in front of them, and they ask “are you showing any signs listed on the board” now is your not truthful how does this help secure other people’s health. I notice other hotels have a walk through screen checking your temp.

When my second room was ready, minor things like the lights were on, and cleaning serviced failed to put bathroom tissue in, dust around the room etc. so what safety precautions are you really taking? For such a high priced standard hotel, why are there no coffee machines in the room? No free movie or descent channels especially for smaller children?

I would be screaming mad if I was booked on the other side of the hotel, there were lines of people and no monitoring as mention in other reviews. Food options sucks even before pandemic. There is no late check out, I believe your suppose to give at least an hour courtesy if requested in advance. Noise level of other guest is insane, once again this is a high end hotel, I’ve known others who consider the guest or at least have standards.

And yes elevators and floors were filthy, I really hope you read all negative reviews as most people are saying the same and consider some changes.

I intended to celebrate my birthday for a night getaway and was completely taken back by the lack of hospitality and stay accommodations on 2/25. The Oceans staff communication was misleading. Our room had damages and we were interrupted during our stay. We had to ask for wash clothes and were told that there was a 2 wash clothes maximum. Very disappointed during our time at Ocean.

By JMK |

First, the rooms are great - ocean view and the only casino that I know of with two sinks in the bathroom. Restaurants disappointing: we went to the Amada and the food was just disappointing (confusing to order) and American Cut - steak was dry. We also went to tZhen Bang which was good. Would like to try the Italian restaurant.

Oceans is a brand new resort right on the boardwalk. Wow what a view of the ocean. New slots and lots of room to roam around. Buffet was excellent and open at 11 am. Many resorts do not open their buffets until the afternoon so we were very happy about that. We love their loyalty program. Don't forget to sign up and if you are a member elsewhere, show them your card...it may be helpful for extra perks

Hotel has a beautiful view the rooms are decent , Slots were very tight ! no matter what your bet was. Smoking was so strong !! why cant casinos take direction from other casinos that are now non smoking . it works. I feel bad for people who work there . I won't go back,

By Antonio D |

The place is insecure. My safe wasn’t working and they stole my daughter’s debit card information the first night we were there from inside her luggage in the room at night. Two charges for $900 appeared on her account and We were informed by our card’s fraud department by the time we got home.
Also, although the place’s installations are new and modern, the service is for a 2 star hotel at best. Except for the doorman, the people we met working there are pretty clueless and not very helpful...We got 3 different answers to the same question depending on who we asked. There is no incentive for them to make your life comfortable anywhere in the hotel, except inside the casino area, which is where they want you to be spending your time and money.

By M D |

Spent hundreds, got a dribble out as usual. Then, they gave me no Freeplay next day and tell me some b-s reason. So tired of this place. Machines are tight. If you go, eat and leave. They don't appreciate people. You are just a dollar sign to them.

I am currently staying in a suite at Ocean Resort (check in 7/20). The suite is beautiful, although it took a few calls to finally get our room at 4 pm ( we arrived at 11 am and were told our room would be ready by 2 pm). We decided to come here with our two young children so we could use the pools and beach. We were not told when we booked the rooms what the situation would be with either. In order to get into the pools, you have to stand in very long lines in closed narrow hallways with about 100 people, some of which do not wear masks and most of which do not socially distance, with no ventilation. There’s no one monitoring these hallways or the people in them. After standing in line twice already for over 45 minutes, we gave up and never made it into the pools. We can only hope we don’t get Covid. These are extremely dangerous conditions that should probably be reported to the Department of Health. As for the beach, we booked this resort because they normally provide lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach. We were surprised to find that there is no such amenities now. We didn’t bother bringing beach chairs or an umbrella, so we can’t even enjoy the beach. When I called guest services about these issues, I was put on hold multiple times, and after an hour on hold was finally put in touch with a front desk manager named Nelson, who basically told me there was nothing he could do about any of these things, and essentially it is what it is. I would just warn anyone thinking of booking this hotel who is coming here to enjoy the pools or beach rather than gamble to stay away and save their money and health.

It’s great that Ocean gives free gifts and great comps. However me, my husband, family and friends who are all card holders (Black) are very upset with some of the gifts. For starters the security camera was garbage. It’s a discontinued item and doesn’t install and can't call customer support since it's discontinued. The Bluetooth Smart phone watch is only for Android users. 50% of the population use Iphone. So we made the trip to pick up these gifts for nothing besides lose money with your free play. Each time. Not once have any of us won anything with our free play. When I use my own cash without inserting my card, I win. SCAM! But I don't like not using my card because of the comps. The only thing we enjoy is the free Comp for rooms, which are really nice and the free meal in the VIP Lounge, even though there's a very limited selection of food. I think when you give out free gifts, don't give discontinued items and things that don't work. I'd rather get more free play to win jackpots.

We go to Ocean three or four times a year. We like the resort and the location at the north end of the boardwalk as it is much quieter at that end. Both my wife and I are healthcare workers and they offer a discount to healthcare workers right now. The website says present your id at check in for the discount. They would not honor it. I got sent from one person to another. After six phone calls, i figured i was wasting my time. They are focusing more on attracting the high roller and the little guy gets kicked to the curb. Was just so disappointed that no one ever seemed to care. Other than that, food was great, beach was awesome and the concert was excellent. Also disappointed that even though we were a hotel guest, still had to pay for parking.

We stayed here and were totally surprised. Book direct, Expedia screwed us up bit the rate was phenomenal @ $149 for a Thursday night. We ate at Amada, the Spanish restaurant and the service could not have been better. We went to the Casino and dropped some cash on the slots but not much to worry. We relaxed in our beautiful room and enjoyed each others company. In the morning, we awoke refreshed and toured the grounds. Decks, chairs, pools, on multiple levels and overlooking the ocean. It was unbelieveable! We chose to hang out at the club just off the Boardwalk, HQ. We sat by the pool and enjoyed appetizers and drinks. This place is without a doubt, THE BEST VALUE ON THE NEW JERSEY COAST! END OF STORY!

By LarryK541 |

I dropped my wallet there last week and had it returned to security but $800 in cash was missing! I asked them to be sure to backtrack it with their security cameras which are supposed to be everywhere to the individual who picked it up and took the money. I checked back with Security three different times and all they would tell me was that “they” are looking into it. “They” being Surveillance. I could never get a result from security who refused to question the surveillance team, as though they were some special body. Never got a final report. I don’t get it.

On our way out from the Boardwalk, decided to stop in the Ocean Resort Casino. Wish we would have stopped in earlier. Beautiful casino. Lots of new games and laid out nicely. Loved it there!

By Samantha M |

We have been wanting to come back to the resort since it re-opened, so we finally booked for my husband's birthday since we saw amazing rates. We brought our 2 kids as well (ages 10 and 6). We really enjoyed our visit. We did notice a few "wear and tear" kinds of things in our room that should have probably been maintained a little better -- one of the robe hooks was missing in the bathroom, piles of dust in the corners of the shelves, the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on. Overall it didn't detract from our stay, but attention to detail goes a long way!

Had really good pizza and AMAZING gelato from Rocco's. Seriously, the banana cream was divine. My only gripe about that was the very strong smoky smell emanating from the casino (admittedly, they were just around the corner from the restaurant). BUT this was not an issue when we visited as the Revel.

We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool, shocked at how warm it actually was for December. Very pleasant. The little aquarium near the check-in desk was a fun feature. The kids enjoyed watching the fish while I enjoyed a delicious holiday drink from cocktail bar a few steps away. Cheers!

We had a great little visit, even for December. The hotel was kid-friendly enough, but next time we visit it will likely be just the hubby and I. I definitely want to check it out "in-season". We were glad to see there were shops added to the part of the building down on the boardwalk (they were closed for the season however). Thank you for bringing back this beautiful hotel!

I gave this hotel/casino four stars because overall it's a very nice hotel. For solo travelers like me there are plenty of nooks and crannies to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casino--rocking chairs that overlook the beach, a 360-degree fish tank in the lobby, lots of comfortable seating scattered around common areas. The hotel was clean, and I felt safe pandemic-wise. However, my stay was not without issues. The housekeeping controls by the door were confusing, so one day my room was not cleaned. The casino is too smoky for my taste, and security at the entrance to the guest rooms was nonexistent--either the guard didn't bother checking for people's cards or there was no guard at all.

I asked for a room on a high floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean (the city itself is seedy, so if you're planning a visit go with the knowledge that you'll likely be spending most of your time in the hotel). Check-in was fast but very impersonal and I was not offered bell service for my bag.

The pool was closed, which meant one fewer non-gambling activity during my stay, and it would have been nice to have been offered some kind of compensation such as access to the spa. I hadn't brought workout clothes with me, but the fitness room was large with lots of equipment, so if I return to oceans I will make use of it.

There is a good variety of restaurants, some very good (Dolce, Wahlburgers), some not so good (American Cut). The food court has a nice variety of food as well if you don't want a full sit-down meal. Harper's offers a nice brunch as well.

The casino was one of the worst I've been to. Very smoky, terrible slots, and a terrible rewards program. I was there for four days and all I got was a lousy T-shirt (seriously!).

Overall, if you're going to AC and want a more upscale experience you have two choices: Borgata, which is a better hotel and casino, or Oceans, which has a much better location. You have the beach and the boardwalk, and the Hard Rock is just a short walk away.

Had a fun time during our stay in Ocean. Nice facility, but the rooms (x2) we booked needed a little upkeep. For a newer facility, the furniture in the rooms were chipped and had stains on carpet. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and clean. A few restaurants to choose from fine dining to casual. We went to villain and Saint, which had a great live band and was a nice surprise. The casino was fun with a lot of options from slots to tables. Also, walking distance to everything on the boardwalk. We liked the resort cause it was situated on the end where it wasn’t so loud and busy. Beautiful view from our rooms!

I was happy to see they take/scan everyone’s temperature upon arrival and support social distancing. The lobby is beautiful and they have several restaurants available on the premises (although a few were closed) during our visit. We had to switch rooms because the first room we were given the toilet was clogged (I’m guessing by prior guests) - yuck! The next room was clean but just average. I really expected more from this hotel. The bathroom was the best feature, to me.

I visited the hotel on August 31st 2020 for 3 nights stay on the suite. Upon arrival at 430pm i did the online check in. I had to wait till 6pm to get to my room which i think it is unacceptable when they ask you to check out at 11am sharp. The excuse was that the room is clean but need to get inspected. Everybody was wearing a mask but it was very crowded. After receiving the keys we had to wait in the elevator lobby to get to the 7th floor for 20min due to 4 people allowed per car which is understandable. The elevator and the whole ways smelled weed all the time not the ideal environment even if you have a baby. Even the room when you open the AC the smell of weed was coming out from the fan. :(...Also all the outdoor areas were smelling weed in the evening. I had to cut my vacation short from 3 nights to 1 night. I received the refund for the two nights. The room has a great view of the ocean and the room was great and spacious but it is not up to the standards concerning cleaning. I do not think the carpet or the couches were ever deep cleaned. It is a nice hotel at a great location but i think the owners try to make money out of it without making the necessary cosmetics changes for 4 star hotel. I would never go back again to this resort. Hope that helps.

I recently stayed here as a treat w/my Mom. I have comped rooms at all of the resorts in AC (as I'm sure a lot of you do) after a few times of gambling at each. I always wanted to stay at Revel and never got the opportunity so this time we made it!

Pros:
We think this is a beautiful place. The room was HUGE, two queen & comfy beds, refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of space to hang/house clothing; individual temperature control; large bathroom w/WC closet + shower stall (good water pressure.) Restaurants are good + some fast food-type places as well. BEAUTIFUL views from the pool area (indoor and outdoor pools), a few places to sit outside. It was a bit windy the day we were there so didn't stay up there long.

Cons:
It took a bit to get used to; however, to check in from the self-park you need to take an elevator to casino floor, walk to another elevator and go UP to lobby. Any give aways this time were on the MR floor which is between the casino and lobby. We couldn't check in early and leave our bags as we have other resorts (show up later to a designated spot for key pickup), so we left our bags and came back at check in time. Check in took almost an hour even though it looked like all hands on deck + there were a few people using iPads to speed up the process.

All in all, I'd love to stay there again. It is a bit of a walk on the boards to other places, but we need exercise and to look at the ocean + some time away from gambling.

Come back to reality enjoying yourself in a safe and clean facility. They really do monitor your temperature at this classy resort. Everything is seems so appealing. The restaurants are open and yummy! The cocktail waitresses are roaming the gaming floor and the slot machines are clinging. Tables are hopping too! Get back to reality and ENJOY!

If you are a big player, you better don't play at Ocean Casino AC.
Because Ocean makes it very difficult for you to collect your benefits and jackpot.
Ocean Casino will cut your benefits what you deserve to make their own profits.

I had bad experience in Ocean Casino AC.
In Sep 2021, I played slot machines at Ocean Casino AC all day long.
Total betting amount was over $10,000
Finally one and half months later Ocean Casino offered a gift, the only gift.
I picked up that gift but couldn't play on that Saturday because I had my toddler with me. with me.
On Saturday, day care doesn't open.
I am a single mom, nobody can help me to watch my toddler on weekends.
I was going to play next week during the week.
But Ocean marketing locked my card right away.
I was told that I can not make any reservations for gift any more.
I can not even use kiosk to activate 10 times same day free play or entry for free play sweepstakes.
If you think it's bad enough that card got locked because only one time the first time didn't play for special reasons without warning, then you are wrong.
It's even worse.

After I requested to unlock my card and was told marketing need to see I play first, I played as much I could.
Total betting amount was over $5000.
I thought it should be more than good enough.

But two weeks later when I went back again and requested to unlock my card,
I was told that marketing wants to see more play without telling me how much or how long.

So if you are a big player, it's better go other casinos because as I know that
no any other casinos will lock your card without warning for the first time/one time picking up gift not played.

I understand casino want to control but need to be reasonable.
Other casinos only lock cards after several times no qualified playing or unlock cards right away for the first time and explain why to warn you
or tell you clearly how many points you need to earn , how long to play to unlock you card.
Ocean can lock your card as long as they want for any their own reasons.

Ocean doesn't give you a warning doesn't give you a chance doesn't tell you how you can unlock your card.
Only thing Ocean will tell you is keeping playing( without having any benefits not even any promotions)
You just lose what you deserve.

Hopefully no one will have the same bad experience as what I had in the Ocean Casino AC.
There are plenty of other casinos in Atlantic City!

After deciding back and forth on whether we should travel for my husbands birthday we decided to take a short trip to a familiar location. We chose Ocean Resort and Casino because we knew that social distancing would not be a problem because it’s such a large property. We arrived about 10pm and everything went ok until I went to shower at 2am. I was infuriated and so disgusted about how dirty the shower was left. The shower was NEVER cleaned after the last person. There was long brown hair wrapped around the faucet, hairs on the shower floor and soap scum still on the dish in the shower. Thank God, I Lysol the shower first because that’s what made the hair stand right out! I called housekeeping to complain and ask that someone be sent to clean the room “Jameera” never apologized and responded as if it was NO big deal. She stated that a manager wasn’t available to speak with me and she put a ticket in for housekeeping but had no idea how long it would take. Yes I know what you’re saying because I said the same thing 3 minutes into my thoughts. “There’s no way, I’m staying here tonight”! There’s NO way that I could feel comfortable entrusting our health and safety for a minute longer during a Pandemic at that place. Nothing can convince me that our room was cleaned and sanitized before we arrived if the bare minimum wasn’t cared for. We checked out at almost 2:30 am tired as all hell to drive back to Queens. I was so disgusted, grossed out infuriated and appalled that my adrenaline gave me the energy I needed to get my husband and I out of danger.

The representative at the front desk on check out was professional and actually called a Manager to come out from behind closed doors to speak with us. The manager on duty was Marisol. She apologized, asked that I email her my pictures so that she could address it with housekeeping management and refunded our stay. That of course did not compensate for our 3 hour trip there and back (there’s a casino 20 minutes away from us), did not compensate for the 400+ dollars that we lost gambling (we’ve NEVER won there, so we stopped before our losses got any worst) the wasted gas money, the Toll and last but certainly not the least...ruining my husband’s birthday night!

This review will be posted and emailed to as many social forums as I can send it to because if Covid/Safety/Diseases and Germs is of any concern to you then DO NOT stay at this Resort! Do NOT trust that they have their guests safety on the top of their list!

This place is one of the worst casinos... They care more about taking your money to make the place look nice(and probably pay the $2B debt) than they care about any of their "average" patrons. I'm sure their "high-rollers" would disagree with me though.

Rooms were clean. They need to upkeep the flooring. Looks like the floor hasn't been polished since opened and do some dusting. Several of the restaurants are only open Sat and Sunday and the one Cafe in the hotel lobby is closed permanently. We had a good time and rooms are very sound proof.
It was very busy during our visit

Decided to stay at Ocean Resort after having a fantastic experience there in April. I don't know what happened from April to August but the cleanliness just wasn't what it was in April. We left a note for the maid, with a tip, requesting that they vacuum the food that was left on the carpet from the previous guests. When we returned to the room the carpet was still filthy and the tip was gone!

Just stayed at the Ocean Casino Resort this past weekend with my friends. Check-in was very quick. Got a double queen non-smoking room on the 43rd floor (4320). Very clean and an incredible bathroom. The beds are literally clouds. The view was phenomenal. The lobby is very nice, the casino is spacious and doesn’t smell like tons of smoke like the other casinos. Whalburgers is a MUST when you visit. The burgers are delicious and the S’mores Adult Frappe is so good. The nightclub HQ2AC is great, doesn’t get busy until around 2 hrs after opening time. Overall, it was a great visit just like my other stays. Every department was exceptional. I will be returning!

We always go to Ocean. This time we upgraded to a suite. The hallway was filthy. The carpet were so dirty.
The slots are the casino were tight. I couldn’t even get bonuses. The best time I had was when I left. I won’t be returning for a while.

By maritza g |

I enjoyed the ocean view and the room. The elevators were tobusy when it came to checkout and I could get in the elevator for over a hour. Due to covid-19 only 4 people were allowed in the elevators. The staff could of taken control the operation. I had to catch the bus and I was almost late. It was okay due to the circumstances with social distancing. It was okay.

I absolutely give our stay at the ocean resort Casino a five star and if there were six starts I would give it to them.
experience was so great that I’m literally writing this review before checking out).
We stayed in room 1827 and it was immaculate. We had a beautiful Oceanview two queen beds a beautiful bathroom and everything was just super clean. The staff went above and beyond from the moment we got there. From the valet to the person bringing our bags and check in. Check in was long, it took us about a half hour to be helped. But once at the counter had a lovely experience with Damari, a representative there (we even got there a few hours early and they allowed us to check in because our room is ready). Then our luggage was brought up immediately within five minutes. Place is pretty big and we ate enough of the restaurants they were absolutely delicious and not overpriced but I come from New York City so we are used to everything being overpriced. The indoor and outdoor pool are incredible and the hot tub was just lovely and it could fit many many people it was very comfortable. The beach is steps away you’re literally on the beach and even the people we met in the resort were in a very good mood, it was a very upbeat lovely place to be for a few days. We even saw Dolphins from our room. I recommend it to anyone looking for clean upscale beautiful fun resort. Have fun!!

We went to see the Ocean Casino late March and were offered a cash back reward for new gamblers. We were told our vouchers would be mailed to us. After a month I decided to call to see when they would arrive. Called the listed contact # and followed the prompts, after waiting a while decided to leave my phone # and get a return call. 40 minutes later my first question was about a promo I received to get an upgraded card. How much do I need to wager to maintain the platinum. status. I was told it was points not $. So I said OK then how many points do I need?. I was put oin hold for what I thought was a simple question. Next question even more frustrating. I asked when I could expect my voucher for the cas back offer. I was told all rewards are accessed in a kiosk. I explained what we were told and said she would transfer me to promotions. After holding for 6 minutes the phone went dead.

Great casino. Nice and clean casino. I always feel safe at this casino. There are a nice selection of slots. I only didn’t see one slot I wanted to play, Phoenix Link. I had great play time during my last visit! Had a lot of fun!!

My husband and I come to the Ocean Resort Casino often. We love the new restaurant ma’kia and the server Scarlet is the best!!! The casino is the cleanest in AC by far. The rooms have a spectacular view and are very clean. Always great service and fun. Love this place!!!

We didn’t stay here but took a walk around. Fantastic views from public balconies that are part of terrific open space on the multi-level roofs.

Paid too much for room. Changed rooms twice all three rooms were not clean. def no covid cleaning precautions taken.

I would never stay anywhere else in A.C.. This hotel is just beautiful. It is at the end of the boardwalk which is a great location. Tons of trams to take you down to other casino's to visit or dine. The room was beautiful and well kept. Cannot wait to go back.

By 229maryanneb |

We never had the opportunity to visit when the casino was Revel, but I am certainly glad we were able to visit Ocean Resort.
Our room was very elegant with a magnificent view of the ocean and boardwalk. It is my understanding, after speaking with a bartender at the Lobby bar, that the resort was totally remodeled before reopening and the remodeling job was very well done.
I cannot wait to go back again!

By TAVMO2 |

I stayed here before but this had to be the worst time of all. The room was dirty, I called house keeping and came back to the same dirty room. I came back to the room and went to sleep. The next day I asked to have the room cleaned again. That evening I had red spots all over my sheets, a qtip on the bathroom floor and food on the rug. Around midnight they came back to change my sheets. Just terrible. I took my husband for his birthday and even though I used a comp room, I didn’t deserve a dirty room. My saving grace was the restaurant Amada.... so amazing ... the food, service, just everything❤️

Oh I forgot to mention some disgusting guest left a container used for collecting pee in the elevator filled. I went in that elevator about six times before I told the security guard. It was removed immediately. What a trip...

Maybe I just picked the wrong time to stay but it was very disappointing. Not to mention, when I told customer service... they just didn’t care🙁

The resort is beautiful and the common areas and casino were clean. The rooms are another story. My room was relatively clean but definitely lacking based on COVID protocol. I have stayed in other casinos that really went above to keep clean rooms and sanitized; not the case here. The rooms are definitely used hard by guests. Stained and damaged carpeting and furniture. I stayed over the holiday weekend and soon understood. I initially changed my room due to smelling like smoke. After the first night I inquired about the capacity and possibly changing rooms as I had a horrible night being awaken by loud obnoxious guests both in hallways and rooms. Banging doors and furniture, screaming profanity and violent. I did not feel safe. The front desk staff apologized but essentially indicated this was not unusual (not in those words). Hallways smelled of stale alcohol and carpeting stained. The rest of the weekend was the same with loud obnoxious drunks but not the violent behavior, so I stayed in my room but had to have the a/c fan blowing high and tv on to drown out the other noise so I could get a little sleep. After reading the other reviews, I note this seems to be the norm and not the exception. I wanted a nice relaxing getaway, but it was far from that. Will not be coming back.

By Skymiles27 |

The resort is beautiful and worth the price. Prices are reasonable, check in was crazy the line was super long but however they moved pretty fast. We checked in on a Sunday it was crazy. The staff were fast and friendly! Our room smelled like it had just been cleaned. The only down side I didn’t like is the sheets had stains on them. House keeping is pretty fast! Nonetheless this resort was relaxing and amazing. The food is so good at harpers try there for breakfast it goes until 2pm!

This is our third time staying at the hotel. Room was nice and clean. Overall it was a decent stay and had a lot of fun in the Casino. We will return.

This place is amazing. Great restaurants fun things to do if your not a gambler. Go to the private cabanas and spend a quite romantic time with your partner.

By Lenora A |

First off let me say the new owner had nothing to do with the check in being on the 11th floor. The place is a little tricky to get around to and from the parking garage but that's the way it was built.

My husband is a veteran and got a complimentary room. The room was spacious, clean, and the view from the 39th floor was gorgeous.

The staff I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable. Their presence is plentiful and they are very approachable.

This is a huge property/casino so make sure you have your walking shoes on!

Thank you to all for a great getaway!

Overall we had a good stay up until our when we had to check out. This was the second time in one months time frame that we could not check out from our room on the tv or on line .I tried calling the front desk for assistance and couldn’t get through I called the hotel operator and was told I had to speak to someone in reservations- so strange but waited on hold and was told they couldn’t help me either - waited on line to check out with all of the guests who were checking in etc for over ONE HOUR !! This is totally unacceptable and when we finally got to the front desk and asked for a manager the manager that came was so rude and couldn’t not be bothered !!! Her response was oh wow ! She said you should have called the front desk I showed her my cell phone to show her I had called several times while we waited on line and she shrugged her shoulders . This left such a bad impression.! We just wanted someone to hear out our concerns and validate them not for someone to appear so disinterested especially when the money we spent at the casino , restaurants and bars pays her salary !!!! I would welcome speaking to someone about this matter . There has to be an easier way to check out that is also efficient - perhaps one or two lines solely for check out ?!? We can’t be the only guest who experiences this obnoxious inconsiderate and inconvenient absurdly long wait for a three minute check out !

By cmerone18 |

when we go on ocean vacations we like to enjoy virgin pina coladas and virgin strawberry daqueris. At the poseidan pool we were charged the full price for a drink WITH ALCHOHOL. At $15.00 per virgin drink! We were not told this ahead of time... and there is no reason that they cant put a spot in the register for non alcohol drinks..because they said thats just the way it rings up. REALLY???? Other than that , our experiance at the poseiden was great. waitress sarah was attentive. Great area for adults!

I think something is going wrong with all casinos, maybe I’m wrong but I noticed that there is something wrong with the cards, u just can’t win.
I noticed when the manager rate the players everything turns around and everyone starts to loose, maybe I imagine things but something is not right and things are not as before

By Mirsini M |

I am having such difficulty making a withdrawal. Oceans registers one withdrawal method so I have been told to call a number to have this closed account removed. I am a patron of almost all NJ online casinos, one deposit and I can withdraw into my new payment method NO PROBLEM! I had previously called the number provided, the rep said this old account will be removed yet no changes!!! Really really frustrating. Stop storing only one account!!!!

Nice clean and spacious rooms. This hotel is a five-star hotel. The rooms at this hotel are spacious and clean. The buffet is only open Saturdays and Sundays for Breakfast and lunch but is relatively inexpensive with Breakfast being $14.99 and lunch being $19.00. They have multiple other restaurants for you to eat at. These restaurants are average in price with burgers running about $14.00. Parking Is five dollars however with a players card it is free. The casino is of a nice size with multiple games to play. They have a small poker area mostly playing one two no limit. This casinos poker room does not do poker tournaments.

I stayed here on Wednesday and Thursday evening this Thanksgiving. I had stayed here in October as well. Although this trip is was different, I brought my 4 year old son with myself and my mom. It was something new to do, lets spend Thanksgiving by the beach and go out to dinner for Thanksgiving.
Something new, but the thing is my son is Autistic, and he has meltdowns, he has a service dog to help when he has a meltdown and she is wonderful to know when he is about to have one. She is a registered Service dog, she is of course an animal still, so she will bark. I had checked in around 2pm, she had barked a handful of times, it was a new environment, new sounds, smells, to that security had stopped by the room to say another guest complained. That is understandable. I stopped at the front desk a bit later to say she is a service animal and was told if they received another complaint Id be asked to leave. Ok, the dog had barked yes but not nonstop nor was it obnoxiously constant.
Upon checking out I was handed a receipt for the $62 for the hotel charge for the comp rooms. Later today I looked at my account to see the hotel charged me $250 pet damages fee, bc only “service” dogs are allowed. Did I mention she is a registered service dog, along with all her registration paperwork. I was told she urinated all over the room. She is trained and does not do that. I was told security had pics of it, so I requested to have those pictures sent to me, which I was told I dont know if you can have them.
You’re changing me $250 for having my autistic sons service animal with us and saying she ruined a room, I believe I am entitled to the pictures. I was not notified that the casino was charging my bank card $250 and only found out when I was checking my account online later that evening.
As a mother of an autistic child this is a disgusting display of discriminatory action by this establishment.

The positives:. Absolutely amazing building. Very sleek and modern. Great access to the boardwalk and beach.

The negatives:. So, I usually don't waste time reviewing things online, but the stunningly poor service I experienced warrants a warning to others.

First off, I made it clear when booking that we need a room for two adults and a fourteen year old. Doing simple math, that's three people. At check in, I also confirmed we need a room to accommodate three people, and told we were all set.

Next, arrive in room worth only one king bed and no place for my daughter to sleep. Called customer service, told I could get a roll away for extra twenty five per night. So, already making a poor impression, but whatever.

Next, discovered some concerning stains on the sheet, large stain on side of the bed, and most scary, what looks like blood on the lampshade. I'm hoping that I'm WAY off base on the sheet stain and blood, but one can't help but be concerned.

Also, kind of weird, but only had one washcloth in room at check in. Guess the thought is that we'd all sleep in the same bed, so shouldn't mind sharing a washcloth.

I had my room service request on pretty much the entire time. Maid came on day one, gave me towels and said she'd come back to make beds and clean room. Tried to act like she did not speak English. Did not return.

Next day, same maid comes back, asks if we need anything and I again asked for beds made, take our garbage and vacuum. She stepped into room, initiated a conversation with co-worker in very clear English down the hall and left. Did not come back.

So, we made our own beds, put garbage in the hall as cans were full, and reused towels. Basically zero value added from housekeeping. To be clear, the maid should not be afforded a second chance to represent the company in such poor light.

At one restaurant, sat and waited for thirty minutes while manager and two wait staff bickered about who should have to serve us. Guess my money wasn't good enough.

If I was staying at motel six, I expect this type of service. Dropping a moderate amount of $$ per day between lodging and food, I expect better.

The room itself... Huge shower but otherwise exactly what you see at every other hotel. A bed, couple chairs and a tv. Nothing special, and stuff has definitely been used hard before we checked in. The only thing to add is the sheets were insanely stiff and scratchy.

And while not the fault of ownership, the clientele was confused of mostly twenty something year old partiers, all looking to hook up. A very MTV jersey shore feel. Saw way too much as some customers as they dressed and looked like they were strippers on a coffee break. Not really family friendly.

Lastly, the hotel cannot control this, but the beach smelled of rotting fish. Not very pleasant at all.

Overall, I feel like I was misled, treated poorly and ripped off. The building is gorgeous for sure, but I'll never pay that kind of money to get treated like an unwanted customer again. If this place doesn't start investing in service the way it did in the design and upkeep of the building, I really can't see a pathway to long term success in this industry.

We was at the hotel around 9 pm, waiting in line for 30 minutes - finally was told that there are non smoking room is available! (we have 2 kids and non of adults are-smoking. We book the hotel 2 month in advance)
The hotel is in a wonderful location, in fact excellent, but the room had an odor that horrible. Room was really stinky from the smoke, dirty carpet ..
Girl cannot stay there and we are also, when we coming back to the front desk they offer us to put ozonator in the room and suggest “to Walk around” for 1 hour...( already 11 pm) with 2 kids 9 and 11 .. we are back in the room after one hour ..still this terrible smell..
I do not believe that such a nice ( it is nice from the outside and lobby and public area) big hotel do not have one empty non-smoking room..(?) unless it is a really bad management - sorry !
Hopefully today we can have the room where we can enjoy our stay, we was told that we are..
I suggest not to book this hotel for family with kids or for non smokers.

I was with my girlfriend this past weekend and had a great time at the Beach Club and Mansion HQ2 Pool. What really made it great was getting served by an incredible bartender known as Z. He's the life of the party, very friendly, entertaining and knows how to make amazing drinks! Highly recommended and look forward to going there again!

Great to see ocean casino actually wanting people to come and see how much they appriciate your being there!! Casino was fabulous and lotsa fun. Affordable food court and just a beautiful place!! Quite the opposite from the revel owners!! You should definetly check out ocean!! Goodbye total rewards!!! Oceans members club is sooo much better. Ocean is now very affordable and not overpriced like revel was!! Ocean is a totally different animal!! We’re glad we checked it out because now we’re making this our new place to go when in ac!! Love it!!

The new owners have turned Ocean Resort Casino around since it opened a year ago. First, best views of the beaches in Atlantic City from casino, restaurants, roof top. Second, best selection of the newest slot machines with enough action to keep us playing for a few hours. Finally, maybe its the nice surroundings or music play lists, or other happy customers - but in case, we had lots of fun!!

Just returned from a rwo night stay.
Hotel: king size room was nice as expected, toiletries were standard issue - soap bar was tiny and there is no recess for it - but the shower gel was pleasantly fragranced. It was a little tedious having to go from 3 different elevator banks to access casino, hotel and pool/spa but I personally don't have the best sense of direction so others might not have an issue with that. Pool area was very very nice, and it was fun swimming outside in December!
Casino: lots and lots of machines and table games and I love that smoking is allowed in certain areas but wish the signage was more clear if you leave your eyeglasses home! Beverage servers were attentive and plentiful but it seemed like a long wait for slot service issues.
Food: I like the District Area to grab a quick bite right off the casino floor. American Cut steakhouse was good, not outstanding if you've been to other prime steakhouses but nothing negative can be said. Harpers is a pleasant breakfast option and you can order off the menu items (i.e. standard eggs and bacon platter). Caffeccino is a nice option to grab a beverage or pastry right in the hotel lobby. All locations it seemed a little pricey but I'm usually comped at my regular casino so maybe those are the prices everywhere.
General comments: the entire place is immaculate, even the smoking areas. Beautiful outdoor areas for sitting and strolling. Also check out the aquarium in the lobby.

Overall I'd recommend this property if you are going to Atlantic City

Huge casino and hotel. Beautiful lighting and fixtures. Staff was nice and helpful. Get the Ocean card and you can receive comps.

Beautiful but unclean rooms and suites. I have stayed twice in the last two years and each time, the rooms were dusty, dirty, finger prints and mysterious smudges on all surfaces. The carpets are dingy and stained. The customer service here is severely lacking. This hotel costs too much to be so poorly maintained.

Used my comp in Renee’s the Ocean Casino’s high end women’s store. Top dollar, high markups. I bought a leather handbag and when I got home I looked for it online. There is was at Kohl’s for 1/2 the price!

Since June 2018, the Ocean Resort Casino has been open which was the Revell Casino. The Revell was the newest Casino in Atlantic City and the most modern. Unfortunately, it did not last and closed in 2014. The casino remained that way until it was brought back to life under new management and a new name...the Ocean Resort Casino. The Ocean Resort Casino does resemble the Revell with some new enhancements. People who went to the Revell can tell what is different and what brings back memories of the Revell.

Since the casino is at the end of the boardwalk alot of people don't make it down that far or may not know the casino is there.

The Ocean Resort Casino is trying to get more players by having special promotions. In order to find out about the promotions, simply visit the casino players club and sign up.

The casino is located past the Hard Rock Casino (which was the Taj Mahal Casino). The main entrance is right on the boardwalk. The casino is worth a visit ..they do offer places to eat..however no buffet as of this writing which is May 2019. However, they have said they are working on adding a buffet.

The hotel is the most modern I have visited (so far) in Atlantic City. If you stay there, you will see they have lights which you control from inside of the room that states if you don't want to be disturbed. The indicators light up opposed to using the old fashioned Do Not Disturb sign.

In short, this casino is worth the visit.

Beautiful Hotel with incredible views, BUT we had a terrible experience. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - 14 & 10) were in town overnight for an event. We chose Ocean to be with the group we were traveling with, and because it one of the newer hotels in AC. Parking and check in were fine. When we got to our room there were some issues with damage to the room - a broken bathroom door. Not great, but not the end of the world. Then we realized we could hear almost everything from the hallway. The acoustics were terrible.

What made the stay awful was the fire alarm malfunctioned in the building at 3:30 AM setting off a false alarm that took about 20 minutes to shut down. It woke everyone up in the entire hotel. We were frustrated and exhausted.

Then it happened AGAIN at 6:00 AM!! It was insane. We barely slept.

It should have been a wonderful trip, but we were exhausted and it ruined our stay.

When I checked out the hotel staff was apologetic, but made no effort to offer anything in compensation for the issue. Knocking off my parking fees, or buying me a cup of coffee might have saved them this review.

Excellent Professional Reservation People !
I called Ocean Resort this morning as my sisters & I have reservations for 3 rooms next week - Aug.11-13 ...My mom will be turning 80 & she wanted to stay overnight in Atlantic City . My sister had spent a night or two in your hotel & highly recommended it. Mom & I never did. I called this morning to ask the representative if there was a possibility to have rooms on the same floor and/or adjoining rooms. I spoke to April who was extremely helpful & patient with me. I did not have any reservation confirmation numbers but April looked each of us up ,one at a time and said she will put a notation that we'd like to be together for my mom. I had mentioned that I would write a note on Trip Advisor (as I normally do with good service). She asked if I would like to speak to her manager & of course I said YES ! I spoke to her manager Sterling - who was an absolute doll. I explained how I requested either the same floor or adjoining rooms & Sterling UPGRADED us to Waterview. My mom will be SO happy !!!! I would like to commend both of these employees April & Sterling for going above & beyond what a lot of customer service people don't do anymore ! If I could give them a raise I would !!!! Please acknowledge them as employees ......Looking forward to our stay next week !!

Good experiences. SOME Great restaurants. Terrific rewards and comps as well as giveaways. Need better cleaning staff. More table games with a lower minimum would be great.

The hotel is Beautiful! The staff is great and very helpful. The room are the best in AC with great views!

We didn't stay there, we just stopped by while cycling on the boardwalk. It's worth going in and take the escalator to check out the view of the main lobby.

My favorite in AC. I love the beauty of the building and the casino is so modern and lively. It a great place to gamble and hang out for a while.

I just returned from a stay at the Ocean Resort Casino. I was traveling with family members and booked 3 rooms for 2 nights each (Fri – Sun). When I made the reservation, I was encouraged to arrive early, use the facility, and if the rooms were available, we could check in early. I arrived at 1:00 (check-in is 4:00) and 2 of the rooms were ready. I called at 4:00 to see if my room was ready and was told it wasn’t and I should check back at 5:00. That did not work for me. I went to the front desk, they said nothing was ready on the same floor as our other 2, and housekeeping is a different group and there's nothing they can do to about them. I asked for a supervisor, who showed absolutely no empathy, and I finally got a room 3 floors below the other 2 rooms.

All 3 rooms were immaculate and spacious. The best part were the swivel chairs near the floor to ceiling windows where you could swivel around and look out onto the water. The furniture was a bit beat up. The bathroom was beautiful but some of the details didn’t measure up. The lid from the trash can was missing (I know there was a lid because our other 2 rooms had them), the mirror was damaged, and the bathmat was fraying. For such an expensive room, everything should be in better condition and the electrical could have been better placed (see picture). The bed was comfortable, but the sheets were very stiff, and the walls are paper-thin. I could hear everything from the hall and other rooms. This included being woken up several times after midnight by people clearly having a great time, children screaming for hours, and a 4:00 am phone conversation.

There is a good variety of restaurants, but there is not a ton of seating at the casual restaurants and even less at the quick casual restaurants. Note: I tried to make a dinner reservation at one of the casual restaurants via the hotel’s website for Friday night. I checked several different times and the site reported nothing was available. I went directly to the restaurant and was able to be seated.

If you have the time, I’d recommend renting a bay at TopGolf where you can play virtual golf, baseball, football, soccer, etc. It was a lot of fun!

If you like to walk (which I do), you’ll love this facility. I easily walked 15,000 steps without even trying.

The shopping was OK. Nothing special.

The pickup valet was one of the best I’ve ever seen. They are quick and have an electronic board indoors showing when your vehicle has arrived. I checked out at 11 am (the required check out time) and expected to wait a long time. My vehicle arrived in less than 5 minutes!

Would I return? I don’t know. The prices for rooms and food were high and the hotel is not near the part of the boardwalk I prefer (Caesars, Tropicana, etc.). The whole check-in process left a sour taste in my mouth, especially dealing with the manager at check-in. I felt like they didn’t appreciate me as a customer. More like they were doing me a favor.

From the moment we stepped foot onto Ocean Casino Resort to the moment we left was a dream!! We spent the entire weekend and never had to leave the resort once. They have entertainment and dining for every different crowd and cater to all! The first night we had to pleasure of eating at American Cut Steak House, the sirloin was to die for along with the baked potatoes :) HQ Pool Party was a blast!! New speakeasy 1927 has live shows and don't forget to stop by HQ Night club! The rooms were absolutely beautiful, oceans views, and modern/sleek bathroom designs ..Beds were super comfy!! I have been to many different hotels in Atlantic City and would choose this resort over any others based solely on their accommodations and awesome atmosphere. You will not find a better resort on the beach!

By Altagracia |

What can I say ! We choose ocean for my sister’s birthday as it was her wish to stay at the resort and try it out . From the moment we check in Damian ,The front desk agent greeted us with the biggest smile and even thought he mention during our check in conversation that he’s only been working at Oceans for 4 months, you wouldn’t notice as he was so proficient that he was even able to accommodate a last minute request . The room had ocean view, and was tastefully done .The resort is pretty impressive with an elegant personality in every space you encounter. From shopping to dining , entertainment or gambling is a must . Even our meal at Dolce Mare was an incredible experience that I would like to repeat. Did I mention their heated pool for families with little kids or just the adult pool it’s awesome, I would stay over and over again , actually the us girls,we are all looking forward to it . Definitely recommend
The only pron was the night club . The crow was very young so perhaps was the days we stay , maybe they had a special even or so .will try it again when we return and see what happens.
Overall, love !love! Ocean resort and casino.

From the moment I entered hotel, series of problems. Staff rude, room not at all up to standand. Refrigerator not cleaned out, view not at all attractive. There one night but one too many. WIll not stay again. Do not stay at this hotel and would never recommend to anyone. Hard Rock 500% better for a staycation!

By Jeff P |

They aren't cleaning the rooms - and I mean at all. When we arrived, our room wasn't made from the previous occupant. There were used towels on the floor, an open pizza box, unmade beds etc.

As of our second day here, our room still hasn't been cleaned. Maybe this is hotel policy during Covid?

By Leticia B |

This was my 2nd visit to Ocean Casino Atlantic City. I decided to give them another chance to improve their service and impress me. Check-in was seamless, charges clearly explained. Had to wait for the room keys. Stayed in the newly renovated rooms overlooking the beach. Room was clean and up to standards. Went to the bar several times during stay to check on their wine glasses, was not given a wine glass on any visit when ordering Pinot Grigio. Not sure if the lobby bar is no longer serving wine in wine glasses after the last unsatisfactory stay at the resort.

I love going and staying at the new Ocean Casino (Former Revel Casino). A much more serene casino, but such fun. Love the rooms , we had two queen beds and I love how you have to pass through security guard,, show your key and then to your room, away from the casino and quiet and safe. The Casino is spread out so you aren't cramped or right on top of your neighbor, and slots are labeled in coin amount for minimum play. If you need to ask directions or for help, everyone is friendly and helpful and there are plenty of signs pointing out how to go. There are many new resteraunts and new ones opening up still. Everything is super clean and the foods we have had were all good and prices vary, but you certainly can find places from moderate to more expensive to just snacks there and it's just a fun place to go.

My favorite Atlantic City Hotel. Everything is perfect whenever we go. Not one complaint. Comfortable pillows and beds. Huge shower. Very clean with excellent employees. Beautiful views of the spotless beach. They give my wife nice gifts. I used to get them also. Very easy to find your favorite slots. Huge selection and I like they always introduce new ones. See my reviews of their fantastic restaurants. See you next month!

Other than Gambling, the casino has very little going on, especially during the week. On Wednesday, you will be hard pressed to find a place for lunch!

Wonderful, local Luxury at it’s finest the best resort in the world at my feet Glass design can see the ocean from almost anywhere inside the resort.

By Jeanine D |

From the outside you would think this is a great hotel. Nice restaurants (Harper's is great-see my review). However, in regards to the room, I have to agree with the previous reviews. DIRTY! There needs to be additional training of the housekeeping team. Dirt on the floor, stains on the carpet, dust on the furniture. Don't walk barefoot and clean the bathroom before using. Just so you're comfortable. For the price, stay elsewhere!

By David |

Worst experience. They said the suite I booked 2 weeks prior was sold out at the time of check in, so they gave us a worse room, that was also a handicapped room, we're rude about it and offered no compensation. When I booked they said they could give us an extra mini fridge for medical needs, when I checked in they said they'll send it in about an hour. Nothing came. I called the front desk and they told me they are not allowed to send it, sorry have a good stay. Got to the room, asked for robes and slippers, but nope, they ran out of slippers. Everyone was rude and didn't care about anything. They just wanted their shift to end and that was clear. I'll be switching hotels in the morning. Never coming back here.

By Theresa S |

We were only in the casino which was bright, large and gorgeous. New machines which were excellently maintained. The building is beautiful. Will make reservations for this hotel in the near future.

By Dartistray |

First things first. This place is massive. We have stayed at several of the hotels on the boardwalk and I have to say this trip was the best. The room was spacious and clean and everything was accessible. A couple of issues we had. Finding your way around the place was difficult and they are in need of both live person guides and room literature explaining the layout of the building and store and restaurant locations. We got lost a lot. Other than that we fully enjoyed the stay and as the title states will be back. As this place has been in business for only a year according to one of the shop owners, I'm sure there will be growing pains but I think they are on the right track with regards to service and amenities. Getting the free Premier card which negated the parking cost was a bonus. I would definitely suggest this place to friends and family.

The Ocean Resort was closed but now has reopened and it has been improved. We did not stay here but did visit to try our luck for several hours and to eat a meal. Very helpful staff and we will have to stay here in a future visit.

By Tony R |

This was my second stay at Ocean resort in AC - and it was just as good as the first.
I love how every staff member treats you - they are all very nice and say hi and welcome to the resort - once you learn you way around its not that overwhelming. We did have one issue with our room - with the TV but that was resolved within 10 minutes - they sent someone right up which reinforces the service they provide.
Just an all around great place to stay in AC - The service in the Casino is fast and friendly too.

Incredibly disappointing experience, we stayed during the week to try to get a couple of days away. We stayed on the 41st floor and we had a great view facing the ocean. Unfortunately, the bliss was short lived. We woke up at 6am for the second day in a row to the most disruptive part of the trip, the intense construction. The construction consisted of loud banging, scrapping, it sounded like a carpet installation in a wood frame building. Upon calling the front desk to resolve this matter, I was told by Jacqueline (front desk attendant) and Felinda (front desk supervisor) that the only available option was to move my room and that they were not aware of the construction taking place when the room was rented for the night. This is the part in which I find to be unacceptable, the reservations department and the construction team need to be in sync to know to perhaps not rent the floor with complete renovation taking place. We are sleep deprived and the last thing we can fathom is gathering all of our items to trek downstairs to a completely different room, initially we chalked up the noise on the first morning up to a one-time incident. I am not only disappointed in the lack of appropriate customer service but the lack of organization and a positive guest experience. I have stayed at almost every hotel on the AC boardwalk and this 5-star hotel unfortunately has resulted in the worst guest experience I have had. I do believe on another occasion an enjoyable experience is possible despite the mediocre casino and being the furtherest location on the accessible boardwalk, however I will never return to this hotel purely because they truly did not seem to care that this construction was disruptive to our sleep, vacation, and well-being. I hope this is considered by internal members of the Ocean Team to amend this behaviors and staff that are unable to meet the needs of their guests.

More attention to house keeping and stricter with monitoring visitors. Pre Covid-19 we have been frequent visitors to Atlantic City. With that being said this was the first time we stayed at Ocean. First of all no one takes your temperature when you walk in. All they have is a person each entrance who asks you to read a sign. Secondly, you need a map to get around. You have to take one elevator to another elevator and so on. When we got into our room we expected for it to be it tip top shape since it only reopened a month ago. Nope.... dust everywhere! We stayed on the 16th floor and for almost 24 hours, food trays, garbage, and sheets and towels from house keeping remained in the hallway. Huge turn off! Went to the HQ pool and was told no other food besides what’s being served by the bar is allowed in. So we bought pre made wraps and salads from the bar which were limited. A bit later we see people coming in with take out from Walburger’s, the boardwalk, etc. The icing on the cake was going up to our room late from the casino and a group of teenagers were running around carrying pillow cases, and coming up to us asking if we were their parents. Where is security in this place?? We went to pick up a free gift from Hard Rock and what a difference. They checked your temperature and passed out packaged wipes while playing at the machines. I guess we will stay there next time.

By Kelly E |

Have a better system. Don't put 75% of your guests in 1 section of your hotel. 1 hour to check in. We had to wait 45 mins to get into an elevator to get to our room. Once we were in our room, we had to wait an hour for an elevator and then we just gave up and went back our room. Tried to call front desk and waited 20 mins to get though. We are literally trapped up here. On top of that we find out from another "trapped" couple that the line to the pool is wrapped around through the hotel. What is the purpose of staying here? Just to gamble? Because literally you can't enjoy the amenities and you can't even get out of your room. We sat in our rooms without food or water because we literally couldn't get an elevator. But somehow room service had zero struggles. Yes could we have walked down 18 floors worth of stairs? Yes we could have. But why in the world should we have to? I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Yes it's clean and beautiful. But you can't enjoy yourself because of all the stress involved with getting on and off your floor. I will never ever stay here again and will be looking into this further legally. Because how you can leave your guests TRAPPED on their floor?

By JJK812 |

This was my first time back since it reopened after Revel closed. It looks dramatically similar to Revel, same decor, restaurants, etc, This is not a bad thing. I quite liked Revel. I came for some March madness since sports betting is now allowed. It was a great casino for that and we had a fantastic time watching the games and I even won a little. If the crowds at the main sports book area are too much for you there are a number of bars around with less people. We took advantage of the expansive bar in Top Golf Swing Suite which has a number of TVs. Our room was clean and had a lovely view of the water and boardwalk. I didn't do much walking around since it was rather chilly, but I'll be back and I'll do more outdoor exploring the next time to see what the new additions are when the weather is better.

By YoginiAmber |

We had a GREAT time! The hotel was nice, and literally the best on the boardwalk. We walked and went in to check out all the hotel/casinos and were happy that we chose this hotel! We went to some of the restaurants and they were great as well. Lots of cool little areas to hang out. Everything was clean, the slots were fun, the servers came by pretty regularly. The view from our room was priceless!!! Pay a little more for the ocean view!!

We stayed here for my Birthday in August of 2018 - Hotel is beautiful - our room had view of the bar and the ocean - It's a very quiet and boring hotel - not alot to do nightlife

By Sal L |

This was our fourth stay at Ocean Resort Casino, once again we had an excellent experience. Every step of our stay, from free parking, entry with temperature check, hotel check-in, to enjoying the ubiquitous amenities was effortless, and hassle free. All Ocean employees we encountered were courteous, and pleasant to talk to. That was exceptional, and should be commended.

There is a lot to see and do here so it'is really worth the trip for us. It's a beautiful, well-planned property, and an oasis of fun in AC any time of the year. The pool is open year-round, and the exterior gardens, and lounge areas with open fire pits are an extra benefit this property has above others. The beds are also amazing, so you can truly relax all day with an ocean view, then head out fully refreshed for a night out.

During the pandemic the property has also been proactive, and it is now possible to dine socially distanced, with limited occupancy so we felt safe while enjoying some of our favorite foods. There are tons of dining options available, and drink service on the casino floor is super fast and plentiful.

Be sure to join the player's club, you will enjoy the best comps and offers in AC hands down.

We’ve stayed here many times but this experience has been disappointing. The rooms and view are very nice but not when you can’t sleep in them! Children running up and down the hall, slamming their doors over and over again way past midnight was rough. This morning, at around 6:30 am, a lot of tapping and walking around in the room above us. Then the hammering, dropping of tools and drilling began. Really? They have work being done in the room above us?!? I get that they need to make repairs and do renovations but why give us the room directly below it? So disappointed.

This place is so much fun. My husband and I loved it. We stayed in a king non smoking room for two days and it was everything we wanted. It’s right on the beach, and there’s basically a mall inside the hotel. It’s huge. I recommend it.

I recently had a 10 day stay at the ocean hotel and casino which I generally liked however I attempted to have a late breakfast at one of the restaurants at the hotel I was told that they did not have any tables available I pointed the fact that there were at least 10 tables available the hostess said that they were reserved I said that I considered this to be an act of discrimination I pointed out that since the hostess was a 50 to 60 year old woman some one could easily discriminate against her I considered this to be an act of discriminatory against my self I will never stay at the ocean hotel and casino in Atlantic city again I recommend no one else does as well .

The place is very nice with a lot of machines and various prices. It is clean and modern and there are a good selection of of restaurants at various prices.

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at the resort. We are very careful in our daily lives with always wearing a mask when out, social distancing and frequent hand washing and social isolation. So our trip to Ocean resort was our first outing since March 2020..I am pleased to resort the resort had many wipe and hand sanitizer stations available. You did not have to look for them. Every person and staff I saw had a mask on . Only 4 allowed in elevators with places to stand. The casino was smoke free There was ample outside places for cocktails and food. We will definitely return soon and have told our friends

By grace_moraa |

This is an expansive, well appointed hotel. Rooms are spacious, ambient and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. The hotel is right on the boardwalk, and you might enjoy a morning walk or along the beach, I regretted not bringing my walking shoes! Luckily, the outlet stores are a quick Uber ride away, which makes for a nice shopping stop while in Atlantic City.
There are plenty of dining options at the hotel, except for breakfast for which there’s a shop at the lobby that offers coffee/tea and a variety of cold sandwiches and salads. There’s also a Starbucks nearby on the boardwalk.
This is a casino hotel so many things stay open overnight. For party goers, there’s HQ2 nightclub, be prepared to wait in a long line to get in.
Plenty of entertainment in summer makes the resort an attraction for both hotel residents and non-residents who flood in all day in search of a good time.

By Al M |

My worst experience in an Atlantic city casino hotel ever. This palace is horrible from the employees to the service at just about every place in the casino. I am currently sitting in my room waiting on hold for guest services to answer my call which they said would be 1 minute...we are at 15 minutes and counting. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches today egg, cheese and bacon on a croissant got two cold sandwiches and NO bacon!!! Room is filthy and housekeeping is sloppy at best. Towels in room had yellow stains on them and holes in them. Also had stains on the bed sheets! Don't believe any of the ad's about this place being the cleanest, it's not. Covid 19 is no excuse for all the things wrong with this hotel, Just stay away!

By Elaine F |

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel since it became Ocean. Both times we had a really nice stay. Friendly staff, great room with a wonderful view of the ocean, the bay and the boardwalk on the 47th floor. Lots of walking so if walking is an issue be sure to bring your walker or a scooter. We like that this is one of the only hotels / casinos where there are actually places to sit down. Sofas and chairs when you first come in, in the lobby, around the fish tank, by the fire pit, and more. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. We had a great stay and will stay again. If you are a veteran, they have a special veteran's playing card which has casino advantages.
Unlike Borgata, this only applies to the veteran and not the spouse. We were commenting on how nicely they have put this hotel back together and how it is now one of the nicest hotels in town.

After eating at 5 of their restaurants, I have given up. Low quality, lack of flavor and poor value. A bottle of water for $3.95 and oddly enough it tasted just like all the other water I have had. Shocking

I decided to take a ride to Atlantic City for my birthday and enjoy the beautiful pool with amazing view at the Ocean Hotel. During the time of online purchase I opted for an early check in with hopes of enjoying the entire day and night in AC (two weeks before my stay). For two days prior to driving down, I attempt to call in and confirm my early check in and stay. I also had a few questions I wanted to ask. I was never able to speak to anyone. The hold time was more than hour wait and when I entered my phone number for a call back, no one ever reached me.

The day before my check in I receive an email at 4:30 pm stating that early check in cannot be honored. You also cannot enter their facility pool unless you are fully checked in and that wont be until 4pm. As expected, I was super annoyed.

I paid almost $400 for a room and I cant use your facility unless I pay almost $800-$900 for a two night stay. The agent I finally got through was extremely rude and said she would cancel my reservation for full refund.

I hang up, walk over to Oceans (since I am now on the boardwalk) and they rebook my room and tell me they will do what they can for an early check but due to covid, they cannot honor it. While I understand the stress with Covid I am annoyed you offer something on your website that you cannot honor.

It is not 5 days later and I have noticed I was charged two times. The original cost and the rebooking. I have been on hold for more than hour to speak to someone.

This is beyond disgusting service. I would never again return to this hotel.

By OnAir54909307084 |

It was just … fine. Nothing spectacular and, as usual, overpriced. Did not have a working phone in room the whole time we were there, even though they were notified within hours of checking in. Casino is open air so why bother with smoking / nonsmoking sections … doesn’t work and it cheapened the atmosphere. There has to be an easier way to get from Hotel to Casino. The walk is brutal (especially with all the construction … not sure what was going on). Customer Service was iffy. Girls acted bitchy and the guys upped their game and made it a party.

So when i arrived i was in awe by the hotel’s beauty but upon arriving, the desk host never said double the money was being charged/ i booked on hotels website for 149 for Saturday night & was charged 209 instead- my total said 315 but they held over 500- I thought it was misleading- the hair in the bed&the sanitary napkin wrapper in bathroom was awful- cleanliness is #1 bc of several reasons and i will start w/ Covid19 so I technically want to give the hotel a 1. The safe was broken- i was not pleased w pricing vs cleanliness
My friends room had chips on floor &in chair- sushi & soda in refrigerator

It was our first time at Oceans Resort and it was wonderful! (Except one Dining experience that I will write about below).
I will highly recommend this place for a visit!!
Wonderful staff that greeted us well and our rooms were clean and had wonderful views. We have family with us (mom & dad) and they really liked it too.
The Casino was a fun place too and all the support staff were very helpful, kind and made it a really good experience.

The only bad part of the visit, was the dining experience at Zhen Bang Noodel and Sushi!
Really Bad Waiter!! Very disappointing!
We were visiting the Oceans Resort for the first time and decided to visit Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi, the first evening.
The hostess was very polite and sweet and seated us immediately.
After that everything went downhill.
The waiter who was assigned to our table (I believe his name was Xiwen) did not seem interested at all from the get go.
We took our time to decide whether we will have cold or hot Sake and so only ordered water, he made a disgusting face (implying how can someone not order drinks).
I then asked him if they had a Kid's menu, to which his answer was ' what kids menu- only this menu'. I think it is safe to ask for a Kid's menu, if a place carries a high chair.
Since my 3 year old daughter was really hungry, we decided to put her order of Chicken Lowmein, before deciding what to order for ourselves. He assumed that - that is the only thing we are ordering and got really rude and started taking menus away. I could see him joking with the support staff inside pointing to our table (maybe implying how cheap we are). As a note, even if someone comes in only to order one dish, I don't think its anything wrong - if it is, the restaurant should mention that at the entrance ( minimum 2-3 entrees required).
His attitude after that was really disgusting.
We had a support staff come deliver water to the table (I must add he was very polite, courteous and kind), but unfortunately he happened to drop a glass of water on the table.
Xiwen came back and instead of being apologetic, he started belittling the poor guy in front of us.
That was it!! We had 'had it' by then and decided to walk out of the restaurant.
Terrible experience and I believe the food would have been good, but alas we did not get a chance to taste it!!

At the north end of the boardwalk, this new hotel is upscale and provides many visual delights from the grand entrance to the beachfront pools.

I have stayed at Ocean Resort multiple times and this is the first time that I am HIGHLY disappointed. Check in is suppose to be at 4 pm, we arrived PROMPTLY at 4pm and our room was not ready until 5:45. No concessions or discounts were offered for our inconvenience. Then we booked American Cut where are service was very RUDE. We mentioned our anniversary 3 times prior to arriving to the restaurant and then when we were there and they did not acknowledge us at all. We spend a lot of money for a horrible experience.

Don’t play the casino online, not sure about in person but you’ll never win! I’ve deposited 1000’s of dollars into their online app and have never had a withdrawal of winnings….
Don’t waste your time. Play NJ Pala Casino I win all the time on this app!

Stayed at Ocean this Friday-Saturday first let me start off with how my Saturday started at the resort. Got woken up by the
housekeeper who walked into our room when the do not disturb red button was on . When now that i’m awake hey let’s try the Eclipse pool well here we I go….

Eclipse Pool is underwhelming music is boring need to have a blend of to appease all. I do not understand why you put a two hour time limit on lounging at the pool can’t even catch a proper tan. I gambled a lot of money there at the property to put a time constraint to tan and lounge. Kids and family should have a dedicated space perhaps indoors portion of the Eclipse pool to accommodate the screaming and crying children. The Poseidon pool should allow all guests over 21 access with chairs and option to rent beds, cabanas etc with DJ’s playing house music. I tried to get a daybed at that pool so I get away from the annoying kids at the Eclipse pool but I was told they were all committed but yet I counted 5 beds that were unaccompanied and empty. Well as trekked back up the stairs to the Eclipse pool to grab a snack and drink well that was also a bad experience. Your snack bar in Eclipse pool doesn’t open until 12 so what do your do if there sitting in the sun sine 10 am with no food or water? Same for your outside bar the POS system was not working so I couldn’t order a cocktail when I asked the bartender for a cup of ice water in meantime she said she needed to log that in the POS system , and couldn’t be bothered, are you seriousl? Considering that your POS system was down your staff did not offer us bottled water in the meantime until they fix the system . Poor customer service. Whomever you have managing that part of the resort needs a personnel competency check. Poor management, hospitality and operating skills. Have that management team spend a day at the WaterClub, Borgata and Golden Nugget pools, now that’s a guest experience. Extremely underwhelmed considering the grandeur of your hotel. Oh wait there’s more…restaurants should consider opening for lunch on weekends not too many options for grabbing an appetizer and drink between the hours of 2-5. Well with that being said I hope you look into making adjustments as I like the hotel and want to be back.

Valet parking was crowded only one attendant was working.
Check in was terrible over 20 minutes to check in.
Customer service was non existent.
At check in they did not give WiFi code, ( FYI it is on holder for key )they did not explain how to retrieve your car from valet.
Did not explain how to get to valet check out. No directions whatsoever.
They took your CC and sent you on your way.

Room was nice. Could have used some dusting .
Bathroom was nice. Great shower. Clean .

We had an ocean view. Beautiful.

If you valet when you go to retrieve your car take the elevator to bottom floor. Go to valet booth, pay then they will get your car.
Hotel does not offer service where you can call lobby to have your car ready when you are leaving. You must go to valet then wait for your car. Poor service.

If crowded I would think valet would be a nightmare .
We left early so had no problem.

I went here when it first opened . It was much nicer than now. Granted Covid plays a part in this.

Website said pool was closed. When we arrived the pool was open.

No plexiglass between the slot machines. No temperature taking as you arrive.
Did not seem to have any Covid precautions in place.
I live in PA our casino adhered to strict Covid restrictions.

I Would not recommend staying here.

The casino/resort was bustlying with families and our room was lovely overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Was a little apprehensive after the original reviews when it first opened, but we had no issues. Friendly service, nice room, good food choices.....Like to see the family friendly atmosphere with people using the private beach and all the pool facilities. Clean, modern, lots of light, places to actually sit down, ample parking. 3 stories of activities from the roof garden and pool on the 11th floor, down to the casino on the main floor. Friendly staff everywhere we went. For anyone with mobiity issues, be sure to take your walker or wheelchair because there is lots of walking. There is a free beach across the street and we saw lots of folks using this beach as part of their hotel stay. Outdoor spaces usable with fire pits. Great view from the 11th floor lobby area. We were very pleased and will stay again. Room was lovely and well maintained. Commode area is a separate "room" from the main bathroom area for additional privacy. No tub, just a nice shower area.

Stayed on the 40th floor. Beautiful view of the boardwalk and city. The room needed to be vacuumed and dusted badly. The staff said they are aware and are woking with cleaning staff, so they can do better (whatever that means). The casino and restaurants inside were awesome. A variety of places to eat that will accommodate everyone. Hair salon, pool, spa, restaurants, this place has everything, almost no need to venture outside.

Great hotel & casino…. The best in Atlantic City!
Excellent ocean views from the guest room and leisure areas on the lower roof levels. It is great that you can step out onto the boardwalk With the great AC beach just yards away.
Great choice of restaurants from Fine Dining to Casual & on the go.
We had a great stay and will certainly return.

I hope this hotel is able to stay open. I have not stayed there since it was the revel but I enjoyed their anniversary fireworks show last night and re place looked busy Best of luck to them turning this formerly troubled property around

Hotel is very clean with a lot to do. Indoor/outdoor pool is great and the spa has a lot of choices. Only down side is doing the week not many of the restaurants are open.

This casino gives me a free gift 6 days a week and free slot play. They've been the ONLY casino to do this until Tropicana copied off of them. They are doing so well the other casinos are copying. This casino is truly the best!

Hotel rooms:
I'm from Atlantic City but never have I experienced it in the way I have being here! The views can make you scream because it's so beautiful. I have stayed here every weekend for the last few months and every time entering my room is like the first time. It is like I am on vacation from the same city I have known my whole life. The rooms are soo nice as well and even the bathroom with double sinks. You are right next to the Ocean with AMAZING views all around.
Staff:
The people treat me so well when I check-in. I love going to one person named Shanika she ALWAYS make me have a great experience. I am actually in a hotel room now and I don't know how she does it but she tops my stay each and every time I come! There is a lot attendant named Hina that I love seeing because she is so nice.

Gambling: I won my first jackpot of $2300 for the first time in my life here. The slots are not as tight as the other casinos here. I've won $700+ on just a $0.75 on a penny machine. I've won so many times I've lost count! I've paid lots of bills from winning here.

Food: They have a few places that do not charge casino prices for a meal. For instance at Rocco's you can get wings or chicken fingers for $8. A spaghetti dinner for $9 and a sub for about $9-$10.

By Zipporah T |

While the hotel is beautiful and staff quite helpful unfortunately the experience at the Spa does not match. The staff at the front desk have horrible attitude and treated my friends and I disrespectfully. It’s safe to say that they are biased against people of religion. As for the Spa itself the acoustics are terrible, it sounds like a frat party going on VS the relaxing Spa atmosphere. It doesn’t help that the jets in the hot tubs and pools are extremely noisy which in turn makes the guest need to yell over each other. It is quite big and easy to get confused which again leads me to the staff- they didn’t give us a tour to get familiar with the amenities. The massage therapists were courtiers and professional. My friends and I have been going to the Spa at the Borgata for years. We decided to give the Spa at Ocean a shot. But after the terrible experience we had we most definitely will NOT be going back.

The Ocean resorts is a first class hotel and if it weren't for one glaring managemental decision, It would be perfect. Sunday check-in is rediculous because They do not let their premier players check in early. Everyone lines up at 3 p.m. and it is mass chaos . Everything else is perfect. Great hotel

By Crys W |

The room was absolutely filthy. Thick layers of dust and sticky cup stains on all surfaces. There was a weird smell in our room. We didn’t have a bath mat or any soap. Really horrible.

The pool was nice, and we enjoyed the bar and the restaurants. The staff at check in and in the lobby seemed miserable.

Lovely high end hotel and casino. Rooms are above average.
Hotel staff is also above average. Just very hard to get around because of the size of the hotel. A lot of walking, (to much)

By sharonaL5620EI |

This is by far the most beautiful, clean casino in the city by a great margin. It is so different from all the dirty, nasty ones. The rowdy low life dirty folks are not here. Has the most classy visitors and employees too.

By Laine H |

Our family and two other families (totaling 8 children) came for the night. We planned on spending the majority of the afternoon at the pool. Unfortunately, due to the storm the previous night there was broken glass in pool area and was closed indefinitely. The hotel said they aren’t offering vouchers at this time. The families that came this week deserve a room comped at a later date. To top it off our room was dirty. We waited one hour for an extra blanket only to be greeted with two folded sheets because “they ran out of blankets.” This hotel may consider itself luxury but they are cutting corners and lacking in customer service.

Suggest it is the best Casino right on the beach. Beautiful building inside and out. Feels comfortable with great decor. Highly recommended.

By JON |

I have been a player here for sometime and spent a lot of money . I am a Prime tier status player . I have supported the Hotel through Covid , I have never had issues
getting comped rooms , Recently when booking stays now they want $699 for a Saturday --
To not get further aggravated - HERE ARE THE HUGHLIGHTS
- USELESS HOSTS
-DISGUSTNG VIP LOUNGE

LOOKS LIKE BORGATS IS THE BEST OPTION !
COMPS 365 DAYS ARE YEAR - BEST VIP LOUNGE

Stayed at many AC hotels through the last 25 years with the last being Borgata. I figured I give this a try after receiving a comped room (with resort fee) and I’m so happy I did. The hotel is huge with a large amount of slots and a nice sportsbook. All they need need now is a buffet. The only thing I didn’t like was there are no direct elevators to the casino floor from your room. You have to get off one set of elevators onto another and so forth. I’ll be back on my next AC trip.

By Journey795204 |

Love this place😍😍. If you would like to stay at one of the most comfortable hotels in Atlantic City...look no further. Ocean Resort Casino will ALWAYS be my first choice. Everything that a hotel can offer, you'll find under one roof.

We were walking down the boardwalk when we noticed this beautiful glass casino/hotel. We decided to go in for lunch. It was breathe taking. This casino is beautiful inside and out. Our lunch was delicious and reasonable in price.

We have stayed on both coast many many times. Usually go to AC 3 times a year and stay at Borgata. This time we chose to try Ocean. The Marijuana smell is everywhere. Elevators, rooms, hallways. Lack of experienced employees shows very much at the check-in, Sportsbook and Craps tables. Marketing and comps are bringing in a very low class of patrons..We realize they are starving for business, but this is a complete joke. Oh and the Domestic next to our room with clothes thrown out in the hall and the thumping music all night long. Security did nothing after we complained regarding the heavy weed smell and thumping music. We gave it a try and it was not good for 3 nights...

Have been staying at the borgata since it premiered. Last stay the bathroom was filthy even told the manager left for a few hours and the bathroom had not been touched During those few hours checked out Ocean was very impressed. Staying for a few days the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating the entire place is immaculate and I just had a world class massage. My new home in AC. Also honors veterans like myself with real perks

This was our second time staying at the hotel this year. Room was nice and clean. Restaurants are seating guests inside with proper distancing. Casino is very nice and welcoming. Overall it was a decent stay and I would return to this resort casino.

By NJScotty609 |

I’ll start this review by saying I am a Black card member at Oceans. I say this only to show the level of service given to players.

I arrive on a Sunday around noon. Normally they never have rooms ready or simply don’t allow you to check in, I went to the VIP and was able to get a room. Got a decent king size non smoking. Oceans should run a vacuum on the carpets there. Stains everywhere. Also, I got the room right off the elevator lobby. Noise all night! Got zero sleep. I asked to be switched rooms and they said it could not be done. Mind you it was a Sunday night and the place was empty. All the noise on my floor I guess.

Remote in room for tv did not work. Couldn’t use that.

Casino- machines were super tight. I bet big and could not hit anything. Slots tables didn’t matter. No call from hosts, comps were limited. Why play there? I can take my play back to nugget or borgata. If you are gambler, the winter months should make you avoid this place

Myself and a group of girls visited to celebrate a birthday and end the summer on a bang. You get a sense of how amazing the resort is when you walk through the doors and see the amazing lobby. The doormen and front desk people are all so nice, Brandon in particular really made sure our visit started on a good note. The food is beyond amazing. We had dinner at Villan and Saint and they had a live band performing! It was such a nice touch and put us in a great mood to get the night started. Amada hosted the most amazing birthday dinner for us. The filet mignon is heavenly! It was cooked to perfection and the 3 different sauces that come along the side are finger-licking good! We visited the nightclub inside, HQ2AC, both nights we were in town and had the most amazing VIP experience. The bottle girls went over and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The pool parties are INSANE!!! The DJ definitely had the pool lit! I can't wait to visit the resort and AC again!

Used to love this hotel when it was revel so this is the first time I stayed in it as oceans ( I have played here since it became oceans but not stayed overnight) stayed two complimentary nights they did let me check in early and the view in room was great however the furniture not so great ...same furniture as the revel literally the same......chairs stained, side of bed stained and the table/ dresser was soo scratched up I went and told management because I didn’t want them to think I did it ! Soo disappointed with the room bed itself was comfortable but I bring my own sheet to lay on I didn’t sit in chairs cause they were stained bathroom really nice big but you can see wear n tear and rust in shower..everything appeared clean but I clean really clean..everything myself with Lysol and cleaners ( found a little brown mark near toilet handle when I was cleaning 🤢 just an FYI you need to really check stuff) ...I have plenty of free rooms there but doubt if I will use them again . Casino I actually did pretty good on the slots..seemed clean no smoking which revel was non smoking which I love ( of course with Covid all casino are non smoking now )food was pretty good too...they take temperature as you enter casino and hotel..staff were nice...I will just go for the day to oceans for casino no more overnights. I’m going to try to upload a few pictures...my room was free ,I wouldn’t pay what they normally charge till they upgrade and clean or replace furniture.

Stayed 2 nights at Ocean resort (September 23 & 24). Got there at 4:20 p.m. to check in but was told the room wasn't ready and to come back in an hour. We went and had dinner and came back (almost 2 hours later) and was (again) told the room wasn't ready but the employee offered us a room with 2 queens instead of the requested king on a higher floor so we took that. Here's the breakdown:

Room: Beautiful view from room 2320! Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Has a small fridge but no microwave. Bathroom very clean.

Staff: Front desk staff was great but the housekeeping staff was SO rude. 2 of them. I asked one of them (older woman with a high bun) a question and she turned her back to me, waved her in the air (as if she was shooing me away) and nodded yes. The other looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for washcloth's and towels but a nice staff member stepped in and handed me what I needed. I was saving them the trouble of having to clean our room. There was also a supervisor wearing a blue shirt that was very nice.

Beach: Ocean boasts about having a beach right outside their door and they do. Not bad but not great either.

Pool: LOVED the indoor/outdoor pool. Took a swim at night outside in the heated pool. Didn't get to use the jacuzzi. It was out of order.

Casino: Was pretty busy for a Tuesday. We lost a few bucks. No biggie.

Parking: $5.00

Didn't try any restaurants

Beautiful hotel casino but an overall an okay experience. Perturbed about not being able to check in until almost 6:00 p.m. and the extremely rude housekeeping staff.

Booked a Studio Suite for our Anniversary, Room 1452. 7/29/21. We went up to the room and the door was propped open. We quickly realized why. Reeked of cigarettes. The toilet wouldn’t flush, so my husband had to open the tank and fix it. No idea why housekeeping didn’t try to flush the toilet. Guess it wasn’t cleaned before our visit. Gross. There was a pink stain all over the carpet like someone spilled a drink. We hoped to get another room but the other studios were booked. Their resolution was to spray the room or switch us to a standard room at the regular rate, with no discount. I was not going to accept that. Took the manager to finally offer us a $150 discount to stay in the room. I booked the suite for a reason and was not going to take a normal room, otherwise that’s what I would have booked. The staff all seemed like that was the last place they wanted to be. Everyone we spoke to just stared at us with no personality whatsoever. Not one person on staff was friendly and we had to push for some sort of resolution. They seem to be trained not to smile or offer anything unless the customer pushes. That’s not good customer service. The manager never even offered an apology. I felt like I was in the twilight zone and just wanted to be done so we could get on with our trip. Our first trip away in 2 years. So we still paid over $350 to stay in this horrible odor for one night. I personally think we should not have been charged at all considering this was a non-smoking room. I asked and was told it was non-smoking. The last thing I wanted was to be charged more thinking we smoked in the room. When we finally went up to sleep, the pillows, linens and comforter stunk so badly of cigarettes I had a tough time sleeping. Making me wonder if they even changed out the linens in the room. Also disgusting especially in a pandemic. I wouldn’t trust that they’re following extra cleaning protocols as it seems like quite the opposite. Clean as quick as you can. The sofa in the room was so dingy we wouldn’t even sit on it. It’s truly disappointing bc the prices are STEEP and we’ve stayed before and always enjoyed the stay. Not sure what happened but I don’t think we’ll stay there again. The resort is beautiful and the breakfast at Harper’s was expensive, $75 for two people with no alcohol, but was actually worth it for the quality of food, presentation and service. You may want to visit Ocean for the restaurants and casino, but I would not recommend staying here unless it’s comped. Even then I think I’ll pass. Plenty more hotels to stay at in AC.

By Jessica |

This is by far without a doubt best resort in AC! From the second you even walk in the resort even smells good. Very updated and well take care of! Free parking for members. The casino is bright, clean and upbeat. Every room is ocean view! The staff there is amazing. They are always helpful and friendly and willing to find a solution to any issue. It is a little farther down the boardwalk but it helps stay away from the issues. Great program for military members also! Love love love

First of all this place is designed terrible. I'm no architect or engineer but there is so much wasted space and why am I constantly riding elevators and escalators to go everywhere. My wife and I have stayed at the Borgata before and it's light years better than this place.

Onto our room.

There was so much dust in our room I think it hasn't been cleaned since it was Revel. I have included pictures because if I owned this property this is a complete embarrassment and would need to be corrected immediately for what people pay to stay at this resort.

My wife and I gambled at Hard Rock and we will be giving them a try next time if not then back to Borgata but NEVER Oceans again.

If first impressions are important, this hotel needs to improve the service skills of those you are likely to first meet. The front desk staff is simply lacking in compassion and common decency, unquestionable hallmarks of a destination resort. In all fairness, the issue in question was not entirely of their doing, but the poor manner in which they responded and dismissed their guests was simply unpalatable. Management would be wise to better assess the diplomatic and communication skills (or lack thereof) of their employees. In a world where leisure travel has dipped dramatically, how customers spend their money will largely be dependent on differentiators like courteous, thoughtful service. This hotel needs an upgrade in that regard.

By Vijay S |

Good - Beautiful resort, loved the outdoor space.

Bad - We stayed on 46th floor, room was spacious but dirty. My room carpet had stains, sofa chair had stains ( had to put towels on it), side table was dusty, TV console was dusty and had stains. For 400 dollars a night you would expect atleast a clean room.

By scashner |

Room was clean and well appropriated. Had a gorgeous ocean view.

Quiet location - perfect for reenergizing during a conference.

By quest88 |

Very nice looking casino, but it is at the far end of the boardwalk, we would have thought the machine would be a little loser since it is very out of the way. But it is totally the opposite, the machines are the tightest on the whole boardwalk

By Val |

Went up for a girls trip, and we are currently looking at our work calendars to see when we have another weekend to go up again!

I'm all about the views and I was surprised to find out at check-in that every single room is designed to have partial ocean view! So I thought that was very cool, and we definitely had an amazing view.

Overall, we had an amazing time, especially at HQ2's club and pool party!! When we weren't partying, we stuffed our faces at their amazing restaurants (def recommend American Cut Steakhouse) or gambling!

Customer service was phenomenal. All their staff, from house-keeping to servers to their top management at restaurants and the clubs, were absolute angels -- extremely attentive, helpful, friendly and PATIENT.

What stuck out to me the most about Ocean is that it's a place you can go with family, your significant other or just friends. It has a perfect balance and offers something for everyone.

First time staying at Ocean Resort
Casino. We had a beautiful room with Spectacular Ocean Views; with all the amenities.
Ate Friday night at Amada, & had
a great waiter, Roger. He recommended a wine that was outstanding & his recommendations
for Tapas plates was perfect. One of the best, most relaxing dinners we’ve had.
Had burgers @ Wahlburgers for lunch, they were very good as was the service.
The Casino is huge, with plenty of options for Table players, Slot players or Sports bettors.
If you haven’t been you should check it out; you won’t be disappointed

I too have been ripped off for right at $700 dollars through a guy that I'm guessing subcontracts for Ocean. I did not make a large deposit but off of what I did deposit I won almost $700 and I was only allowed to cash out $200 in 24 hours time. When I requested my last 200 of the almost 700 I never received a penny of it and my account was disabled. So I wasted all my time plus my money from winnings was stolen from me. Something needs to be done about this place.

Ocean Resort and Casino is a very classy destination for a nice get away. Try getting the highest floor and you will experience like sleeping in the sky that you can almost literary touch the padding and passing of clouds in early evening. It was an experience we will never forget. It was an awesome evening with wine and drinks in our room, and reminiscing how good life is and what a great feeling to experience the art of lavish living. We tried table games and we won. My wife played slot machines and she won. It was almost like a perfect visit. Then we went to the Kiosk and found out that we have $15 dining vouchers each and we have gifts that await to be picked up. I played cash live Texas Holdem poker and got a high hand prize of $100. They offer high hand prize of $100 every hour. When we checked out, we found out that we still have $49 comp points. It was a fantabulous stay at the Ocean. Come and visit this unique beauty of Ocean now!

Just go. This place is always amazing! So very clean and new. Almost like you’re in the new part of Vegas. From the great breakfast at Harpers (yes please ask for Deborah,,trust me) and if you’re wanting to be wined and dined head to Dolce Mare for great Italian food and also ask for Amanda. Explains all meals and cocktails without making you feel like a knuckle head. Even though there is some smoking in the casino, the odor is very mild which is great for us non smokers. Keep up the good work.

Great place to hang out with friends. Great restaurants on premise. The only bad thing is the pool area !!! Kids everywhere and no rules it was a free for all. First off why do people go to Atlantic City with kids ??? I mean little kids makes no sense to me. Also not enough chairs for the size of the hotel. But I would return to the location also noticed not enough security in the lobby and casino area. It’s the end of the boardwalk and the bad element knows that . Watch walking on the boardwalk late at night !!!

I have been to many casino pools and this is by far the best pool and I have had the best experiences in this pool. IN summer or Winter ....it is the best. You can swim from the inside to the outside on the roof top even on the coldest winters day. The water is nice and warm ...unlike most casino pools.
It is an architectural marvel. Must see to Believe. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows with the most magnificent views In atlantic city or any beach town for that matter.
My Favorite casino resort to stay in

First stay at Oceans Resort. 2 night stay. Great corner room. Beautiful facility. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. When we went it was extremely foggy. First night couldn't see anything out the windows but fog. Even with that we totally enjoyed the room, the casino and the eating establishments. Fantastic shower. Best of any hotel I've ever stayed at by far. The outside areas provide spectacular views and are quite relaxing. They are doing a good job at trying to maintain Covid precautions. I saw staff on multiple occasions immediately cleaning slot machines after use and there are ample hand sanitizing stations available throughout the facility. I think Oceans will be our hotel of choice from this point on for any future AC visits. Thanks for the great trip.

Ocean Resort Casino treated us and other guess very poorly after there was a power outage that prevented the elevators and escalators from work. Guess including my wife and myself could not get to our rooms from about 1am to after 4am Sunday September 29th.

No one from management came to address us about the status of the situation. We had to go in our car and slept. I woke up about 4am and decided to check of the situation he was told the only remedy the hotel is offering was to check out two hours after the original time.

Nothing was do the remedy the inconvenient of the guess. We will not be coming back in. We called Hyatt, a Ocean Casino Resort is a part of World of Hyatt group, but they said they can not do any.

This is not a good look Hyatt.

A sub-marginal moron is in charge of this hotel. There was a crew outside on the roof below our room banging with hammers at 6:30am Friday morning waking myself and my wife up. What kind of a stupid idiot would allow this at such a beautiful hotel? This person is a complete imbecile. The hotel is magnificent though and the workers are all great. A complete dumb idiot in charge of the work crew and the hotel too.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in September. We were on the 32nd floor and the ocean views were spectacular! The beds were comfortable and the shower spa worthy. We could have spent the day sitting at the comfortable table and chairs all day soaking in the views, but we would have missed all the rest of the amenities.
The casino is large with all the newest games. No, we didn’t win, but we had fun.
The indoor/outdoor rooftop pool was awesome with views of the ocean and a morning adult only swim. (nothing against kids, but it was nice to have a quiet hour)
The restaurants and bars are reasonable and if you get a chance, take advantage of the happy hours at Distrito [best tacos we have ever had) and Villain and Saint. You won’t be disappointed!
The line for check in was long, but there were several hotel clerks so it went quickly.
A resort can have all the amenities in the world but without a friendly, helpful staff they are nothing. Everyone we came into contact with at Ocean was friendly and very accommodating. I don’t know what your secret is to keeping such great team players, but please continue doing it!
We are going back to A.C. in November, and it’s a safe bet to say our first stop will be Ocean.

Horrible, they don’t give comps or rooms anymore only they care to take your money and I think something is going wrong about gambling there, every time I gave my card I lose and I don’t know why nobody can answer the phone and they are always playing with the system computers infront of the tables.
And the cards came like organized. I have no clue but it’s horrible to play there and to pay for ur room as well so u lose twice and I’m from day one in ocean but now is different

I love love love this place!!!! With several PA casinos within an hour of me, I couldn't see driving 2.5 hours to AC and stopped coming to Atlantic City because I found the casinos to be dirty, and not very appealing. This resort has changed everything! The casino is absolutely gorgeous, I would say it is rivals most of the casinos in Vegas, clean, bright, the rooms are nicely appointed with comfy beds and large bathrooms! I appreciate the coffee maker and fridge in the room. Wonderful comps for players, American Cut--OMG fabulous steak! Nick the bartender was our waiter he was amazing! My GF and I lost $$ but really didn't care it was so much fun, the staff is amazing, every person is willing to help you. Great band and DJ playing, drinks were flowing. I already booked to go back and want to eat at Amada, and have a spa day, as the spa looks amazing! The outside deck with the amazing view of the ocean and fire pits are just beautiful! I am bringing hubby for his birthday in December too. I hope I keep getting offers as I really love this place!

Always enjoy staying here. The restaurants are very good. Where else can you get $9.99 steak and eggs and the steak is actually delish? Slots were pretty good had a little trouble with a homeless man who kept coming around and asking for money. On day of check out I asked a very nice male concierge if he could print out our boarding passes for our flight the next day he said sure that is what we are here for come down when you need it. Well unfortunately he must have gone home or to lunch because there was a women concierge and she told me if you read the amenities list we don't have a business center. This women should not be dealing with the public she just doesn't have the personality or attitude for it. She was too busy talking with another employee about the gift cards she was getting her kids for Christmas. Went over to The Hard Rock and the concierge printed it up in 2 minutes and was lovely about it.

By Diana C |

So….I was very excited to stay at the Ocean Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. My husband and I frequent AC very often and generally stay at the Hard Rock where he is a VIP. We heard so many great things about Ocean that we couldn’t wait to visit and to gamble in their beautiful casino.

After checking in we were told we would have to wait for our room which was expected and totally fine. We got familiar with the resort and then our room was ready.

This is when everything went south! When we got into our room 1035 we were appalled at the condition of the room. I have enclosed pictures to highlight this disappointing room. The floors were not vacuumed and the were stains in the carpet that clearly had been there for quite a while. The bed frame was dirty, torn and the furniture was not cleaned. There was feces on the toilet in the bathroom and it was obvious that this room was not cleaned properly. There were other issues but I think you get the picture. Clearly this room was reserved for comp players and not for the general public. We could have called for another room, but we were so upset we left and never stayed one night.

We are not hard to please patrons, but we do expect a certain level of cleanliness when it comes to a room that you are staying in.

So I hope this was a one time issue and that it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Very nice casino. Lots of decoration hanging from the ceilings dim lighting. But attractive. At roulette table very crowded at roulette table and they like it that way.

We booked the hotel because great reviews. It took a long time at check-in, the clerk was helpful but we had to wait til 6-7pm to get our room, our friends waited til 10:00pm to get a room. Not really kids friendly. The room wasn’t ready, there was dust and no towels in the room. We put the housekeeping light on the whole day, no one came. We asked the housekeeping staff, she was like “what do you want?” We decided to not bother them at all. The casinos not as friendly as other hotels. Regretted to have recommended to friends, and ruined their spring break. I gave 2 stars for the professional front desk clerk and waitresses at Wulbergers restaurant.

By Sam |

Lost our luggage after we checked in waited over 20 minutes at hotel lobby for manager After 5 hours our bags were found and front desk staff is super rude as well as bell people total lack of customer service.Manager finally came out hands in pockets and offered no reasons for the delay.we will never come back to this dump. Whoever management is truly needs lessons in customer service. This is a disgrace.

I thinks actually Ocean Resort is the best hotel in Atlantic City.
The room is very cleaning, service, check in very easy and fast.
I recommend it

Beautiful place, BUT It takes FOREVER to check in at this hotel, if you have no status. Ridiculously long line with limited desk staff support. They know how many people have reservations; no excuse!!!

This was my second time back for a fun girls trip to Ocean Casino Resort and I absolutely love this casino! The atmosphere is amazing! It's a gorgeous resort! The staff is friendly, professional and helpful! The rooms are clean and in great condition, nice huge shower in the bathroom! My favorite part was HQ Beach Club, if you haven't been there yet I'd highly suggest checking it out! They also have some great restaurants there, my favorite is Amada, the staff was extremely accommodating and the food is delicious! We had a really great group of ladies and we all had a blast! Can't wait for the next trip!

I travel to Atlantic City a few times a month to speak at conventions; I always stay at Ocean Resort. It is beautiful, clean, welcoming and really relaxing. The Spa is terrific at the end of a long day and the staff is very professional. On two trips this winter I was joined by my sister and we swam outside in a light snowfall; majestic.
The gaming floor is exciting and has affordable levels of play. The restaurants are terrific, and we found the burlesque show elegant and sultry.

My new favorite place to entertain clients is the food truck....unexpected fun.

Congratulations Ocean; you have won over a frequent guest by excellent service.

I was very disappointed with this hotel considering it is very new I had high hopes for it but let’s say it was very disappointing when arriving there on a Friday evening with my husband for a weekend getaway we were so excited to get there because Finacially we can’t go away just the two of us ever so when we finally did and go there to a dirty room and very rude staff I was just very upset and wanting to go home the sheets looked like they were not changed the bathroom was dirty and when I asked to be moved I was told there was no rooms available and they didn’t even offer to come clean the room we were in

I really wanted to take the time out and say how amazing Keith Kozenskie director of conference services was this past weekend. I was surprising my sister with a bachelorette party and it was also her birthday. The entire wedding party came down to surprise her and he was patient accommodating and just truly dedicated to making this happen. The meeting rooms were booked and HE MADE A SPACE FOR US , He also looped in Victoria to assist with my food beverage and she too was amazing. I had had previous not good experiences before with Oceans and their customer service and THIS has restored me. Truly wonderful Keith is , he came in on his day off to ensure that things went smoothly. This is the kind of customer service that restores relationships, keeps people coming back and really shows that there are people who truly take pride in what they do. I will be back time and time again !!!

Ocean is starting to come into its own. The sportsbook is awesome and the casino is clean, spacious, and high end. Highly recommend if you are looking to gamble with friends and want to find space at tables. Not the most lively vibe. Incredible views!

By Paul S |

We didn't stay here, but visited while walking the boardwalk. We went up to the pool roof, and just sat there for a couple of hours watching the world go by, with great views. Definitely worth a pop in to see, and the architecture of the building is amazing!

This is NOT a 5 star hotel as they mentioned - unless you are only judging the common areas

The good: The main areas that they show so much of on the website and online were great. The casino was clean and so were the public areas for lounging. There is a good amount of options for meals at various price ranges. Public bathrooms were clean. Even the casino smelled clean. Lots of wipes and options to keep your machine clean while you are using it. Another plus is they seem to be super dog friendly which I did not know prior to getting there. We didn't bring our dog with us but it was nice to pet everyone else's dog :) (with permission of course)

The Bad: The hotel room was overhyped. The carpet was filled with stains. Housekeeping did not vacuum before we checked in and there were crumbs on the floor and dust. The furniture was dusty. The fridge didn't keep things cold. The sheet that was on the bed was stained. I asked for extra sheets that never arrived to the room. On our second day, housekeeping cleaned the bathroom and threw away my personal body wash item (which was used ONCE so it was brand new). They did credit the room $30 (which was still annoying mainly because the manager was rude and quite dismissive and seemed annoyed that he had to do something) The person that was sent up with hotel toiletries after they tossed my soap dropped the bag in my hand and walked off even after I said thank you so much. He stayed silent and walked away. The whole housekeeping staff needs an overhaul or training.

If you're ok with a mediocre room. Stay here. If you want to stay at this hotel because of the amenities (they have a good spa and lounge and plenty of food options) also stay here. Be sure to bring your own cleaning products, maybe even your own sheet or blanket. If you do not have to interact with the housekeeping manager or some of their staff, you'll be fine.

In this conversion of the old "ONE' Casino to the Ocean there were not to many architectural changes made with a few visual changes. The weekend I was there it a good crowd who semed to be enjoying themselves. I had a pleasant time there.

Good experiences in both the resort stay and casino. Our past happy moments and memories relive again. Love seeing new slots games with attractive pictures. Also especially love the rewards with free plays, comp dollars and free gifts. Wonderful time here!

Absolutely LOVE this gorgeous resort! My girls and I had the best time here this past weekend! Two of us were celebrating our birthdays! We had VIP at HQ Beach Club/ Night Club, had an amazing workout with the F45 Training team and Mark Wahlberg, had an awesome time at Top Golf, and ate like queens at their delicious restaurant, Amada! Definitely 5 stars hands down, couldn't have imagined a better way to celebrate my birthday! This is also the tallest building in Atlantic City so the view was absolutely beautiful! You could see the beach and the rides from our room which I loved! I highly recommend staying at Ocean Resort if you're visiting AC!

By randycslaw |

Ocean AC follow up review. By far best of AC for me. So yes the Borgata has its water club, ( which is much nicer then its regular rooms ) but the Ocean resort puts it in its place. The rooms are nicer, better views, and great bedding. Far brighter with light streaming in from the outside gives this hotel a resort like feel. Hyatt did a great job and it's even better since our last visit. sorry Tropicana, Caesar's and Borgata bye bye.
Note ; I have not been to the Hardrock yet, but from what I understand this is classier, but the Hardrock offers a party atmosphere and maybe more condusive to those wishing to club it.

I decided to share my real experience
because I don't want this kind of bad experience happens to anyone else.
Don't give Ocean any excuse to cut off your benefits you deserve.
Either play the way Ocean's marketing forces you to or getting nothing after losing.

If you just want to enjoy your vacation without gambling,
maybe Ocean is not a bad choice.
If you are a big player, you need to think about it carefully.

Who are the most important targets for a CASINO?
Big Players? Or tourists without gambling?

A single mom with her Toddler picked up one gift on Saturday couldn't play on that day.
Her card got locked by Ocean's marketing right away

Scammer?
Forcing players play without any promotions by locking cards and cutting off offers you deserve.
Refusing unlock your card even after over $35,000 betting after one month.

Liar?
Cannot believe a word marketing says, marketing is a liar.

First, I was told that marketing will review every week,
then I was told just keep playing until the end of Nov 2021

Nov 29th, 2021: I was told that I need to keep playing for next two more weeks and must be the way I played before.
TWO MORE WEEKS THE WAY I PLAYED BEFORE.
The point is "the way I played before" that means go at least 8 days and total betting at least $15000 in two weeks.
The second chance I gave Ocean already is playing at Ocean total better over $15000 in two weeks

Dec 13th, 2021: I was told come back in January,
after total betting about $12,000 on Dec 9th (have earned points pictures to prove)

I gave Ocean not only a second chance, but several chances,
Ocean marketing did ugly things to me again and again.
Even WORSE.
If you were me, will you give Ocean more chances?

Let's see that will happen in Jan 2022.

The only reason marketing keeps locking my card is for cutting of what Ocean offered for Dec
That's the lowest of low.
Marketing just overall treat players like garbage.

There are other casinos also has "Best location on the boardwalk, great slots and table games, plenty of restaurants".

What an unacceptable gift from Ocean to a single mom.
Just because she had to take care of her toddler on Saturday alone.
That's why picked up one gift one time only without playing.

Happy Holidays!

It is an absolutely gorgeous hotel, quite modern and it has beautiful rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Especially striking when on a high floor. They have a little 'food court' area which includes a street type food truck which makes for an interesting place to eat. We didn't dine there but enjoyed breakfasts at Harpers which, while on the higher end for a breakfast was done perfectly and service was wonderful. While it took getting used to utilizing two elevators - one to access the casino and a separate one to access the rooms, it was doable. What surprised me was there was no business center which we needed to get boarding passes for our flights home; we were able to finally print them but it was not without difficulty. Additionally, we requested they call a taxi for us as we were leaving very early in the morning for our flight and were informed they 'don't do that'. Certainly not what a guest wants to hear when they have to catch a plane and how could a hotel not do that? . It was necessary for us to call on our own. The casino was new to us so it took time to get our bearings but as far as gambling goes, the machines were not good and I didn't hear anyone shouting because they had won something in fact, most people we connected with said they were losing. That was us as well. But the overall experience was nice and I'd go back again.

We did not actually stay here, but the aesthetics, the views, the restaurant choices, the games, and the vibe had us walking there from our own hotel each day. Will definitely stay here next time!

Hello I have a huge complaint regarding my stay at hour casino September 3rd. My girlfriend originally had a complimentary room booked September 2nd and 3rd. Due to travel issues we were unable to make our reservation on the 2nd. We were unaware our entire reservation would be canceled and arrived on the 3rd. Once we arrived one of the employees at the desk informed us or reservation was cancelled and there was nothing she could do. She offered us a room at a rate of 140 a night. Since we traveled so far to experience this hotel we agreed to pay and continue on with our reservation. She assigned us to a room on the 22nd floor. Once we reached the room my children were so excited. We started looking around the room and next thing I hear screaming from my daughter in the bathroom. I ran to the bathroom to to find out my daughter stepped in urine in the shower when she wanted to see how big it was! I was immediately disgusted and took several pictures! I then noticed the bed wasn’t made and empty cigarettes boxes all over the room! I gathered my children and made my way back to the front desk. The hall smelled like marijuana so much so my children commented! Once we reached the front desk we demand a manager! We were greeted by Terrence who showed no remorse... said all he could do was give us a resort fee of 30.00 credit! Not only did He not apologize! But him and the other employee thought it was funny! Had I not traveled so far I would have demanded a refund. I’m so disappointed with your staff and management so much so I couldn’t sleep. My daughter traumatized and the uneasy feeling if the room was really clean or not. I took many pictures and hope I will get a response from someone.

Stayed here over a year ago (family trip) and experienced the worst service in 100+ lifetime hotel stays, but as time passed I started chalking it up to a recently opened properly. Stayed here again recently (work trip) and unfortunately nothing much has changed.

First, the good: internet speeds were adequate, views for miles (especially out of the studio corner suites), food was okay

The bad: everything else.

Check in: person checking me was cold at best, didn't give any info about the place, just asked for ID & card and printed room cards. Didn't even say hello, just "ID and card". No mention of how to get on wifi or even "do you have any questions." Just herding cattle.

Hallway to the room was clearly not vacuumed - debris all along it and wasn't cleaned till next morning.

Room: poorly cleaned, dust everywhere, stains on furniture, 2 out of the 4 pillows were clearly dirty; the sheets aren't tucked in because they're using queen sheets on king mattresses (just like a year ago). I apparently lucked out as colleagues had trash left in their rooms and blood stains on furniture.

Service: Zhenbang was by far the best and on par with typical restaurant service. Villain & saint would remove dirty plates/silverware and then not replace them for the entire party; when a few folks asked for new plates/silverware, they only brought it for those who asked. Brought me another drink when I asked them not to. Keep in mind this is a weekday night and the place was half empty. At breakfast (meeting rooms), the place settings were missing forks (had just spoons/knives), one glass had lipstick stains on it. American Cut didn't bother to ask folks how they wanted their steaks done. Some folks proactively requested medium rare, and all the steaks came out the same - medium.

Those are just some of the examples of how poor the service is. The property/hard product looks nice, but the rest is significantly worse than the average 3* hotel.

As a Hyatt loyalist, this is downright embarrassing for the brand. Even with lowered expectations this hotel continues to disappoint.

By Ross P |

Just came for the night, good deal was offered.y. We booked the studio suite which was AMAZING! The view was spectacular. The shower was especially great with the multiple spray heads. Also theres a special lock on the hot/cold handle where you can make it really really hot. Could of spent the day in there, lol. We watched the Army corp of engineers build the beach right below us which was cool.
Love Oceans Resort, Love the studio suite.

The views are great, casino is clean and well organized.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Resort Casino!!! As always, seeing SMOKEY ROBINSON was an absolute treat!! The only disappointment was when I arrived on my 70th birthday, October 29th, I was surprised I didn't get a free play when I signed up for my casino card! Otherwise, we had a wonderful time!!!

Booked a 3 night stay the end of August 2020. Room was filthy, even the toilet was dirty when we entered, had to get housekeeping to clean it! The halls were dirty, carpets are dirty and stained. No social distancing, Check in looked like it was at full capacity. Pools were over crowded and dirty. I was totally shocked. This is supposed to be one of the better casino/hotels in AC. I don't think so. We literally left in less than 24 hours. We not go back again.

"Ohhhhhh, my God!!!" I am a Timeshare owner here in A.C. I decided to take my guest to Ocean Casino last night. When I inserted my money into slot machine, and hit a spin for the major payout on a BONUS ROUNDS game...but realized the machine was rigged. It only gave me .10... .20..40, etc for all my spins. I had hit the FORTUNE ROUND and was OUTRIGHT cheated!!!!! I had just played the same game in another casino the night before. I hit the jackpot! I even had an extra fortune bonus on their game in comparison to the same casino I hit the jackpot on in another casino.I was ready to leave immediately once I seen they gave me pennies for that bonus spi.

Employees were friendly in the restaurants. The cleaning staff does not even say good morning but I guess that Jersey normal. We spend two nights and I understand it was more expensive since it was memorial weekend. The room are decent but the beds are beat up. The pillow cases had stains on them. The material around the bed was ripped. The tables are full of scratches. This is NOT a five star hotel. The smell on the bathroom was moldy. The staff at the parking cashier was very nice. Rooms are not worth it. The drunks yelled on the hallway all night.
I will not stay there again. Over priced and over rated.

The owners have done an excellent job reopening this beautiful Casino and Hotel. The casino is spacious, with a lot of good machines. I don't know if it was because it was my first time there since the reopening, but I certainly did get a lot of playtime with my money. Much more than any other Casino. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The restaurants are good, but we were offseason and not all of them were open everyday. I would definitely give this place a thumbs up!

By Renata S |

I paid $200 and came here to relax there was a party going on which was vibrating the windows people dining laughing like if there are 100 people in the room near ours. I called the front desk and they said they will have security come. The party got louder and I called security they said the front desk didn’t call them. It kept getting louder and louder so we called the front desk again and two women came to our room to tell us that we can’t get our money back and if we check another room we have to pay for it even if we just leak in. They offered us a smoking room and said people are aloud to have parties in the rooms. This is a disgrace I will never come back to this hotel again and I will tell all my friends the same to not come to the ocean casino hotel because they allow people to disturb other guests and they don’t care if guests are disrupting others all hours of the night. This is the worst service I have ever encountered!!!!

By LightPacker4295 |

Most excellent time !
Great rooms and good food available too !
Service is also very good.
Casino is a little confusing at times because of the layout.
But all in all a nice play to visit !

I was appalled at how dirty and disgusting the rooms were. 1st of all, the elevators had trash and tissues on the floor, then we walked down the hallway to our room and it smelled like urine in the halls.. We walked in the room and it smelled like smoke. The bathroom floor was dirty, and the bed frames had crumbs and questionable stains on them.
We went downstairs to change rooms and the front desk employee was rude about it instead of apologizing. We went to the 2nd room and it was dirty too with stains on the bed.
We went back down and told them we were leaving. After speaking to the supervisor they returned our money. Again no apology.
Horrible!

Came for one quick night stay. Hard to complain about a “free” comped room. Usually love this place, it’s my favorite. We travel three hours plus in each direction to get here… When I have a casino less than 20 minutes from my own front door. We used to be diehard Borgota fans, but I now really enjoy Ocean more. Split our time across a couple of casinos, but ocean is my go to. I have a TBI, so my balance is off. I like the way this casino is set up. I like the lighting is low and not “flashy” for people with light sensitivity. It’s still a beautiful, bright casino – but it’s not over done. I like that most things are on one floor or the elevators are close by. I love the fact that the employees are usually very friendly and go out of their way to help you. There aren’t crazy long waits at elevators. These are things that I consider important when traveling with my condition.

Overall this weekend, the cleanliness was truly awful. Room was just terrible, restaurant countertops and tables not wiped down properly, or at all. Drinks left all over the place by gamblers.

Not once did I see anyone wiping down the touchscreens or slot machines. Not once. Saw people walking around with spray bottles in their hands, but that was it. I am not a germaphobe, but of course taking precautions lately. Brought our own Lysol spray and Clorox wipes for the room. Also hand sanitizer, and antibacterial wipes which we used on video screens. The hand sanitizer machines were empty at least 75% of the time. Bathrooms dirty. Fingerprints on chrome surfaces in the room and other places. Foot prints on the tile floor in the hotel room. By foot prints, I mean those left over foot prints if someone walks bare foot on a tile floor. You can see it when the light hits it just right. There should be NO print marks on a clean tile floor after a guest checks out. That just says they did not wash those floors. Garbage remaining in the bathroom of the hotel room. The remote was found in the coffee maker area of the hotel room. Half full water bottle left in the refrigerator. Small brown stains on the wall next to the toilet paper roll. No – we did not report this. By the time we realized the condition the room was in, it would’ve been too much on me to move. I was exhausted by the time we actually looked around. Dropped our bags and left the room immediately upon check in. When we came back it was quite late. I chose not to shower in the morning because of the cleanliness issue.

This review is coming from someone who truly enjoys this resort and casino. It’s a hard one to make, but in these crazy days of flu and viruses, casinos need to take extra precautions to at least try to keep certain areas clean. Otherwise – people will be sick and stop coming all together. I want to know that the staff, housekeeping And management has my back to the best of their ability when I travel to ANY hotel, resort or casino. Please ocean, step it up a bit.

Stopped in from a walk on the boardwalk. Casino very clean and spacious. Really enjoyed several hours of gambling in this hotel. Beautiful views oceanfront.

By Pilar P |

Ocean Resort is by far the best hotel on the boardwalk. the old and tired Balley's, Ceasar's, etc., cannot compare. Beautiful rooms all with an ocean view - a hotel lobby that feels like excellence instead of Penn Station. Indoor/outdoor pool, lovely outdoor seating areas - if you want to be treated like a valued guest come here.

By Sightsee02192507669 |

My husband and I stayed here for a few days recently and really loved the beauty of the hotel, both inside and out. Our room was beautiful with a huge shower, double sinks in the bathroom and a gorgeous view of the ocean, boardwalk, and city. We had two chairs in our room that could view the ocean/boardwalk or swivel to view the room. The staff that we dealt with were extremely pleasant. We had one small issue with a food order at one of the restaurants in the Hotel during our stay, however the Manager was great when we brought the concern to her attention. Room service is pricey, but the food was delicious and cooked as we requested and the presentation was beautiful. The staff even brought us condiments we forgot to ask for. Unfortunately, we can't say we had any luck on their machines though. Even so, we will definitely keep this hotel as our location of choice going forward.

By Dawn T |

Prior to our stay we had only played here once for about an hour, but we kept getting room offers so we decided to take advantage of it. Our room was on the 25th Floor and had a nice view of the ocean. Security at the elevator banks made me feel comfortable. And the nice aroma in the elevator bank lobby made it feel like you were on vacation. There was absolutely nothing wrong with our room. The only draw back is the hotel is vertical and there are lots of escalators and walking.

Can't wait for my next visit.
