Old Town has something for everyone

By c0verdale |

This recreation of an Old Florida town was a great place to spend the afternoon/evening.

They have plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and the FunSpot amusement park.
There was also a stage with a band playing in the evening.
Very much enjoyed watching the classic cars coming in and setting up for the Classic Car Cruise and picked up a souvenir Cruise T-Shirt from the Old Town General Store.

Really bad

By Charles S |

Use to be nice place.
Car show is a joke unless you like foreign cars with flashing lights and horn blowing.
About 5 American muscle cars.
Sunday night can't understand music.
This place is going down hill fast.
Felt like I was on a island some were.
Sorry to see it go this way.

Pretty Run Down

By JMomma2015 |

I would not let my kids or teenagers walk around alone here. I’m sure in its day it was fun. The stores are kinda cheesy.

Fun spot for all ages

By cat |

This is a fun and free to explore spot with so much to see... Great, affordable drinks too! We happened upon an old car show and a really friendly car owner who volunteered to take photos of us with his corvette 😀

Must go on a Friday or a Saturday night

By Sharon S |

Had an enjoyable 3 hrs here..We came to enjoy the cars and soak in the atmosphere afterwards..
Very well organised nice to see the cruise through the street..Shops are open and all the bars and eateries..Totally recommend to go..

We enjoyed car show, music and food.

By pledges |

Very reasonably priced shops and restaurants. Free car show/parade. Free entertainment certain nights. There are rides. They are a little pricey but did have wristbands. We ate at Sakeba. Very good food.

Very nice afternoon stop for us!

By flbones2022 |

Old Town is a cool place to visit when nearby. We took a stroll thru and went in many of the shops. Some are unique and very interesting. I especially liked Black Hills Minerals, where there's some cool rocks and stuff.
This is an easy way to kill a couple of hours in an afternoon or evening and there's some good food as well as exciting rides to enjoy.
Like everything in a tourist town, it can get a bit pricy but if you pick and choose you can stretch the dollar a bit and get some good value.

Ticket issues.

By Shelly S |

I was sold a ticket for an attraction, haunted house, that was not open on the day of our visit. I paid extra for this attraction and the tickets were worthless. Please beware.

Saturday Night Cruise at Old Towne

By Sunshine&Coastlines |

My dad had a classic car and we used to spend every Saturday night at Old Towne. So many amazing memories there! I was so surprised that the rock shop was still there after 30+ years. Still walked out with a bag full of goodies!!! Old Towne itself has changed, doesn’t look quite as clean and kept as it used to. Other than that, it’s a must do!!

Dirty, Expensive and not worth the time and money

By Teamlopez2010 |

Tourist Trap ! Not enjoyable at all. Hard to park, dirty and expensive for what you get. Not impressed at all, felt like I wasted my time.

Nice place to walk around

By Kathy S |

We've always loved Old Town. It's a great place to walk around and shop a bit. The rides were running. And you only have to wear a mask inside the stores.

Worth a visit.

By Julie |

Enjoyed our visit to Old Town, whilst we were on holiday in Orlando for a week. It was fairly quiet though but probably because it’s September maybe….
Free parking was much appreciated and there are lots of quirky, old style shops, amusements and restaurants to visit as well.

The only con that I should mention is to beware of the fella in a wheelchair selling free stays in condo’s and discounts on tickets… on behalf of Wyndham hotels…(Timeshare).

Old Town

By talyhr |

Such a fun visit. The area was cheap, full of energy and fun! Great place to visit in Kissimmee that is centrally located to all the fun!

A different kind of shopping and amusement!

By Mary C |

I enjoyed the atmosphere. The variety of shops were great. Old town had a little bit of everything. There was a car show the day we were there. The best part was taking the antique photos. Worth every penny for wonderful memories. The amusement part doesn’t really get started until after 5pm.

Lazy stroll

By Jen C |

We were looking for something to do on a Sunday morning before we left for home in the afternoon. Decided to stop by here and check out the shops. Lots of interesting stores including the rock shop, the anime store and the gift shop that I swear had everyone’s name on a Florida trinket (which made for great gifts). Will definitely be back and would check out on a weekend night which I am sure is definitely a happening place!

Fun place

By Melissa Rod |

They have a couple rides and a lot of shops. Nice for a simple night out by yourself or with family & friends

Awesome car shows

By Davin D |

This place has awesome car shows... their process and grouping of cars are superb. Lots of family fun as well at the amusement park. Plus they have this homemade ice cream spot as well.

Make Murcia Great Again

By Sam R |

Make Murcia Great Again by visiting Old Town! Get away from the Eddie Bauer yuppie Disney morons and visit the best pace ever! Prices are great, people are friendly, great music and food. If you’re an uptight jerk off you’ll hate it. White trash with a ghetto element but that’s what Murcia is all about! 👌👌👌👌

Interesting

By Georganne H |

Lots of shops...we didn't have kids with us, but there was rides for them and prices seemed ok, Went on Monday, and Monday and tuesday some shops are closed as they are their slow days.

Old Town Kissimmee, FL

By Debora H |

This is a great place to go, even if it's just to walk around & watch everybody else spend money. Depending on what is going on you may find it hard to get a parking spot. Perhaps parking at a nearby plaza is an option. We rode our bikes from our local resort.

Fun place to walk around

By Michelle W |

We visited when many of the shops were closed due to the Corona Virus, but this was still a near place. Tons of little shops to browse and a couple of restaurant. There were also quite of few places to get alcohol.

Fun place to bring the family

By Flrdagrl89 |

Friendly staff. Interesting shops. Super clean. Located next to fun spot which is convenient. Lots to do for the whole family. Def recommend checking this place out while in Orlando.

Awesome set up!

By rachelthomas88 |

Been here before, had to come again! If you love your cars please go on a Friday or Saturday late afternoon! You will not be disappointed. The car owners are so polite. Lovely little shops there.

Fabulous atmosphere

By Jackie A |

Wonderful place, great shops and fantastic atmosphere. Huge thanks to Jason for organising all our tickets and to Brandon who met us and escorted us to the car cruise. We had a lovely day here, arriving late afternoon and staying to 10.30, it was fabulous. Food was good at All American Food, and the guy that served us (sorry I didn't get his name) was really friendly. Mortem Manor was scary but good fun and ferris-wheel great at night. High light was the car cruise and we were lucky to enjoy a ride in one of the fabulous cars. Evening came alive with live music, This place is highly recommended.

Fun for all ages!!

By Dee |

This is an exciting place with a Nathans (great hot dogs) to boot!! Old Town has changed tremendously since my last visit and this is a great upgrade!! But somehow still maintained its small town old town feel. I highly recommend it for anyone and everyone...from car shows to rides to bars to great food!!

Great day trip!

By HighExpectations025 |

We had a great time at Old Town and Fun Spot - made a full day and enjoyed both areas. Car show on Friday and Saturday were great fun and unique cars! Live band both nights - lots to do and wander around! Shops, drinks, fun - GREAT dayQ!

Not much there

By Diane R |

Maybe during the car show it's more interesting but not much there. Could use some nicer restaurants

Muscle car show

By Nicole Smith |

Old town is just gorgeous me and my family in-law came in September last year we see it though the day and we also came at night to see the night life , we main reason we was there was to watch the muscle car show all the car was absolutely beautiful and just listening to the engine raw made my holiday , me and my boyfriend are planing on come back to see the vintage car show , we both 100% recommend

Fun way to spend a day!

By bbruggma |

TLDR: great employee made our trip perfect, fun shopping experience in unique stores, free parking, old timey photos. Rides a little spendy per ride—arm band would have been more economical for us.

Absolute Favorite part: Christopher A at the Ferris wheel went over and above to make our family feel special and enjoy our time! My daughter was SO nervous about the height of the ride so he made sure we got the most enclosed car to sit in. He talked kindly to her about what to expect and that he would let her off if she was too scared to continue. She was so nervous going on but he made her feel at ease! He even let us go around an extra turn since she overcame her fear and was sad to get off! My mom was taking pictures from the ground and Christopher told her where to stand to get better pics and also had us pose with the doors open at the end of the ride for another great shot. What a sweet man and a true asset to the team at Old Town! Thank you a million times Christopher A; you deserve recognition from your superiors for your awesome customer service!

Also loved that it was free parking & the variety of fun stores to look at. Groovy store and the magnet store were pretty awesome. Be sure to stop at the smoothie stand for pina coladas in a pineapple (or other flavors with or without alcohol)!

We loved taking the old time photos and we found it to be very reasonably priced. The employees were exceptionally nice! We did splurge for their $150 package (2 framed pics, all the prints they took that day and a memory stick with all the pictures and printing rights).

A nice place to kill time.

By Abel R |

A great place to walk around and enjoy the little shops that they have. Kids will love the carnival rides. There’s a shop that sells different flavor popcorn. I will stay away as it had bugs crawling inside their popcorn.

Fun place to visit

By jbitzer1 |

If you like old cars this is the place to be on Saturday each 2week. Classic cars of all makes abound.
Many fun ships to look around in and enjoy people watching. Five stars !

Great Place

By kroyal1061 |

This is a hidden gem!

We recently stayed at a resort directly across the street so we walked over to check it out.

There are many places to eat and shop, including specialty stores.

There are also rides for all ages just next to it.

Make New Memories At Old Town

By JohnH-Castleberry |

We love walking around….and especially the live music nights…
Flippers pizza is really good…and we have been to the magic show four times…
Of course the car parades are super fun to watch.

Old Town still Old Town

Fun place, shops, eateries and atmosphere. Always a nice way to spend an evening at a more relaxing pace than the theme parks. Car show still goes on, on Saturday nights!

Fun without putting a hole in the wallet

By Vincenzo M |

Great way to get out and be active without actually having to spend too much money. Cute shops and some restaurants. Car shows on Friday and Saturday. Live bands performing in the plaza.

great place

By Bill R |

I always enjoy myself at Old Town. It has been a while with Covid However. I want to say I was very surprised the place appears to be complete done over. It was crowded and better then ever. If you haven't been there is a while I suggest you check it out.

Nice Family Atmosphere

By Arvalon C |

Definitely a lot to do. It had shops, a variety of restaurants and rides. I would definitely visit again on another trip.

Fun for all ages

By KrystalKookie |

While visiting in Febuary, we visited Old Town any time we had downtime. Fun place and the car cruise on Saturday night reminded me of hanging out with my friends when I was a teenager when cars were cool.

Will be back

By Donna G |

We were there on a Sat. night & it was jammed. There was a car cruise probably 100 old cars, quite impressive. There were several shops we wanted to visit & they were just as crowded. If you want to be able to get around, I suggest go during the daytime, it is a much different place. But we would go again even with the crowds.

Lovely spot

By jms36 |

This place is awesome. There's something for everyone here. We saw the mind blowing magic show. Ate gyros. Had Garra fishes kiss our feet! Played games. 6 year old laugh on the roller coaster galaxy spin I think it's called while the teen and I screamed lol. It's not expensive and there's so much to do so little time! Can't wait to go back

Awesome experience

By Jenna B |

Liannette is a the best employee we have met at fun spot very helpful and caring cannot wait to come back again

Love the place

By gutzkleever |

Bikers are more fun than people! They also have as much right to go to old Town as anyone else! I highly doubt they're making trouble around there and would likely be the first to defend you if necessary! The biker bashing in this is bizarre!

Great car shows and music

By Paul |

THANKS to all there we spend at least 2 nights a week here when we go and the classic car show and the Liverpool live our last night was the best night ever at old town and the staff members were very good with us thank you all

Downtown, Cruise Night

By Sharon1951 |

Visited on Saturday night, cruise night. Looked around at the cars waiting for the parade to start at 20:30 but found the content rather disappointing. Restaurants there are on the increase and of course Sun Spot offers a full evening of fun. I’m afraid it’s not for me but I’m sure newby’s will find it if interest.

Old Town. A place with a good vibe.

By Lee F |

Old Town is a few blocks of pretty cool stores with an attraction or two mixed in along the way. There isalso a bunch of food stops within the small makeshift town. While you peruse the street of shops and other locations, old classic cars will make there way up and down the street. Sometimes there are more than others. Surrounding the town are amusement rides and fun things to do for the kids, the slingshot, carousel 🎠, bumper cars 🚗, and many other rides.
Now. The best part about Old Town is the people. After going to Disney and the other high end places around, a person like myself who likes regular people is made to feel right at home. There is no snobby, no noses in the air, and certainly no over priced garbage. The store keepers are nice for the most part. And the place is kept clean. There is ample parking around the perimeter and it is right off the main highway. My advice is to try it and see if tou become a lifelong fan as I did.

Folklore

By Prj58 |

I got to spend time in this nice area that somehow reconstructs an Old West setting alongside park with various attractions.
Street in typical architectural style full of shops where you can find various types of objects and clothing often recalling the mythical epic of the West.
Also good places where you can eat.

Real Family Quality Time

By Sherpa532597 |

We visited Old Town on a Saturday and we actually enjoyed watching the antique cars exposition and the amenities the park have. Recommend the rollercoaster we enjoyed and even bought the picture.

Had a wonderful time

By Tammy E |

Do your research before getting involved with

By Bill S |

Love Old Town. There is one store that sells discount tickets etc. avoid at all costs. We gave the guy( will call him Don) 40 cash to go to a presentation for 2 free trips 40 Cash was to be refundable ! Upon going home and doing some research found out it was Wyndham resorts and a hard core sell for vacation packages.Ratings where horrible on line. Phoned the guy to cancel and he said we need to go to presentation to get the refund. But he got the 40 cash. Well I guess I’m out 40 bucks and he is enjoying a cold few on us.
If it’s to good to be true! It probably is. Do your research. Maybe the same guy another guest encountered in the wheelchair.
But Five stars for Old Town.
Cheers!

Lovely Saturday Evening

By holidaymad49 |

We visited on a Saturday Evening and it was lovely to see this place buzzing again. We walked around the vintage classic cars, watched the car show which was amazing, this place had a lovely atmosphere and things seemed reasonably priced. Lots of activities for the family to do and little individual shops.

Love this area.

By seasonedtraveler1965 |

Visited this area while on vacation in Orlando. The was my 12 year old son’s first time visiting since he was a baby in a stroller. He enjoyed to crazy stores and rides associated with Fun Spot. Would definitely recommend to people visiting the area

very close to our stay. Everything was fun. the go karts were our favorites!! The night club was a blast and the dinks were delicious.

Old Town Magic

By Robert H |

A lot to see and do; lots of shops. Also rides for the kids, and even panning for gems.
We were limited in our time, but we did find time to do the Great Magic Hall twice (we saw two different magicians). Yes, it's $10 for a 30 minute show, but you'll never be this close to the magic anyplace else.

We love the car shows at Old Town on Friday and Saturday evenings

By Lee |

We travel to Orlando often and stay at our timeshare. We were introduced to Old Town by friends and have gone there almost every time we visit Orlando. Besides a great Pizza Restaurant there are many other restaurants and snack places amongst the shops that line the streets of old town. Walking only except for the car show parades on Friday and Saturday evening. Antique cars usually on Friday Night and Muscle Cars on Saturday but check before you go as I am not sure which is on which night. We look at all the cars and there are over a hundred usually, then hit some shops and go the pizza restaurant to sit at the outside tables and watch the cars parade by at 8pm.

Not as busy as it used to be

By RickenHeleen |

We took a friend with us and wanted to show him the bike night in old town we used to love in the past. Big disappointment when there were nog more then 19 bikes in the streets. Maybe something to do with the Corono crisis, but we didn’t noticed that at bike week Daytona.

More than 70 shops, including restaurants (and theme shops) in an area next to Fun Spot America, Kissimmee.

By Joseph Fahey |

More than 70 shops (restaurants and theme shops) line several streets next to Fun Spot America in Kissimmee. What one notices is that classic cars for from the 1950s's are quite prevalent. Although I was not present for the car parade, there is one that takes place so those who are car enthusiasts will find Old Town the place to visit. There is also a theme store that anyone who likes items about the 1950s will definitely appreciate. Of course, there are many other shops which visitors will find interesting too.

Not your average shopping experience

By Taylor B |

Honestly, at first, my wife and I were reluctant to venture beyond the Disney and Universal theme parks in Orlando. What could Old Town in nearby Kissimmee offer than they don't? Well, the trip was worth the time. Located on Route 192 in Kissimmee, minutes from Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and International Drive, Old Town is an 18-acre walking amusement park featuring over 70 unique and affordable shops, restaurants, bars, rides and family friendly attractions. It is a recreation of a classic Florida town featuring historical architecture and distinctive storefronts. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., visitors can walk the tree-lined streets, mine for gold at Black Market Minerals, catch a magic show at the Great Magic Hall, test your fears at Mortem Manor, try a classic game of Skee-ball at Happy Days Family Amusement Center or relax with your favorite beverage while enjoying free live entertainment on Trophy Row Stage. Plan to visit on a Saturday, as we did, to observe one of the premier weekly car shows in the country, a 30-year-old tradition featuring 1985 and older hot rods and antique automobiles. Other rides and attractions include the Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Paratrooper, Hurricane, The Xtreme Ninja Challenge and Rootin' and Tootin's Shootin' Alley. Shoppers can browse and buy at Annie's Gifts, Silana Jewelry, Extreme Woodcrafts Gift Shop, Old Town General Store, Old Town Leather, Old Town Portrait Gallery, Shades in the Sun, Wild Billie's Gifts, Full Dolla, British Isle Connection, The Soap Company, Tiki Jim's, Wound 'n Around, Groovey Store and Comfort Wiz Footwear. Along the way, stop for a bit to eat at Shoney's Kitchen & Bar, Flippers Pizzeria, A&W, Mr. Sushi, Fat Tuesday, Bobby's Garage Bar, Tony's Antojitos, Sugars Gallery, Sweet Dreams Ice Cream Cafe, Auntie Anne's, Downtown Deli, Nathan's Famous hot dogs, Sakeba Asian Pub & Grill, Southern Breeze, Kissimmee Popcorn or Beef Jerky Experience. Trust me, you won't regret taking a short drive out of Orlando.

Great place to visit

By Dianne J |

There are a lot of different rides and lots of different stores. There is car parades on a couple different nights.also days. We go a couple times a year.

Great activity for everyone

Tour in the old town and exhibition of great vintage cars! We see ourselves directly in “the USA of the period”. Super nice to see!

Great place to meet with family and walk around. They have unique stores and a wide selection of places to grab a bite. They recently remodeled and the place looks great!

Lovely afternoon walk would be better at night

By Spinkyminky |

Ive been to old town over the years lots but its been about 7 years since we last came we came during the day after having some food near by a decent amount of shops had shut down but it was nice to walk down through the shops and have a little look in my son was very taken with the large go cart area we only had an hour so didn’t get to do any of that but I think we could have spent a longer time here especially when they have the car shows on the weekends parking was easy and some good places to get food near by.

Fun family time for decent prices.

By StefBrown |

We go to Old town at least twice a month over the summer break with our family.

Love the soap store.
Love the different car shows.
Love the go carts.
Love the tobacco shop (husband).

A must visit

By Ministryos73 |

Plenty to do and especially at night. Lots of stores and great restaurants with lots of stores and an amusement park. Different activities in the center every night.

Old Town Needs Updating

By Dave F |

Hoped for more. Admittedly was not there during their car shows which is reportedly what the big draw is. Most of the shops were OK. Nothing too breath taking or awe inspiring. "so so" at best.

Inaccessible

By karel r |

Unable to access it last night
Unable to park
Too bad, too many people in Orlando, it’s the factory around these parks

Worth a visit on a Saturday evening!

By Cold and Quiet Fan |

Visited here recently on a Saturday evening and saw the classic cars. Cars where amazing and well worth a visit! I believe they do a muscle car one as well on a Friday evening. Having a live band on as well was a bonus.

Was good fun and would reccomend to any type of visitor.

A great family night

By Angela V. |

Took our 3 children here last night, There were so many ride options, and the lines were not that long. Emily was a girl that works there and she was truly amazing, We had a few questions and she was quick with the proper answer. She went above and beyond to ensure we got the best deal, and knew our way around! We all had fun and cant wait to return!!!

Tired

By davidmason236 |

Not a pleasant experience . Plenty of tacky shops and downmarket eateries . Much nicer areas elsewhere

On our doorstep

By Alexander C |

We found that our Air BnB was right next to Old Town. This is not somewhere I have visited in past trips to Florida however I really enjoyed being so close and checking out what was happening.

In the evenings the place really comes to life. Walking through we saw car shows, live bands, and a fire juggler.

We also managed to get many of our family presents from the stores!

Great fun with a lovely atmosphere.

By Biff0r |

Watching the patriotic display was awesome. The cars on Friday was excellent show of he muscle range of cars. Worth a visit guys, kids loved it as did us adults. Stayed and bought a few nick naks and tried the All American food fast food joint. Good experience and going again in a few days as we are planning on eating at Red Lobster. Reminds me of a nice seaside town resort

Great!

By Tammy A |

havent been in over 34 years - still has that old time charm. My daughter's first time going and she loved it. Great shopping and wonderful staff

An enjoyable lazy day

By P&K USA |

We visited Old Town Kissimmee, Florida, on August 11th 2022, having only a basic idea of what to expect. As we arrived by Uber we were greeted by a quaint metal statue of a young boy and girl raising the Stars and Stripes. We later went and had a closer look and discovered there were other similar statues nearby around the grounds of the Celebration Suites hotel.

Old Town is a privately-owned entertainment district located alongside the Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, featuring a large selection of shops, places to eat and drink plus things to see and do. It opened in 1986 and is very aptly named for it has the appearance of an old town Main Street.

We arrived around 11 o’clock with the intention of only staying for a couple of hours: five fun and lazy hours later we were chased away when we noticed that a storm was incoming and our Uber arrived just in time!

We had had a great time exploring the stores, particularly as my late grandfather loved coming to Kissimmee (“Kuh-simee” but he called it “Kissy-me”). In fact, in one of the first stores we visited I got a very strange sensation and felt the presence of my grandfather. Wound n’ Around is a nostalgia gift store and I just knew he had been here before - after all, it was full of the things he loved: Americana, classic car models, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe collectibles and more. I told the friendly store owner and she was amazed to hear this. We purchased a few items and even tried out the Elvis Presley fortune telling machine - worth it for a dollar! Another nearby store, Old Town Leather, which sold hats, belts, boots, bags etc was also clearly another haunt of my grandfather’s as I spotted on sale a selection of postcards of native Americans which I know he collected. The store had a vintage Mickey Mouse music box so I slotted in a quarter and enjoyed a short musical interlude as we took in the delicious smell of the leather items.

While exploring Old Town we also visited the nearby flea market, had cold beers in Shoney’s Bar and tried one of Nathan’s Famous hotdogs (small, so Nathan has nothing to brag about!). You can read about these in separate reviews.

We made a quick visit into the Fun Spot theme park which is located at the side of the Old Town Main Street. The last thing on our mind was visiting more rides but Fun Spot wasn’t too busy, so we popped in to see what was on offer. ‘Mine Blower’, a large wooden rollercoaster immediately caught our attention thanks to its zero gravity roll. We hadn’t seen that on a wooden rollercoaster before. We assumed you could only go on the rides if you had a pass, and as we were sorely tempted by the ride we asked the attendant if you could pay per ride - the answer was yes! A day pass was a very reasonable $54 but we were happy to hand over the $10 + tax single ride fee. We took the back seats of the rollercoaster and very soon were being thrashed around the 2,290 feet of track. My scream on the first drop echoed across the Old Town rooftops and the ride attendant was still laughing when we exited the ride. We couldn’t resist buying the photograph - another embarrassing shot for the collection! Mine Blower is themed as a ghost town prospecting mine, with a top speed of 48.5 mph and height of 83 feet. It really did blow our mind!

Back on the main street of Old Town, the Lucky Mouse Chinese Gifts store caught our eye but we didn’t dare go in: we noticed they were selling something called a mogwai and we know how much trouble they can cause!

The last store that we visited was the Old Town General Store. It looked really impressive from outside and was adorned with retro Pepsi logos and American flags. It had a good range of Americana items inside for sale and I enjoyed an ice cold bottle of the Boylan Bottling Co’s birch beer, an unusually flavoured soft drink. I was pleased I tried it but prefer their other flavours such as root beer and their cherry is very good too.

We spent a small fortune on our visit to Old Town Kissimmee but the things we bought were items we hadn’t seen elsewhere. One of the best purchases (and priciest) was a bucket of U.S. State magnets plus a large metal map - perfect for charting our vacations to the USA. Our current total is 15 States, so we have a bit of a way to go before all the magnets are out to good use!

It was great to be away from the toil, heat and sweat of the Orlando theme parks and have a day relaxing in relative quiet at Old Town Kissimmee. We know we will visit again at some point in the future but we will be staying to enjoy the nightlife we’ve heard about, plus the famous parade of classic cars!

NO CHARHE FOR OLD TOWN

By MommaO1954 |

We go to old town several times a week from October through April and I can tell you there is no charge to get into old town to walk around. If you go to fun spot theme park to ride rides you can buy ride tickets. But this is shameful someone would tell the public there is a charge when I know there is not! Please go enjoy the most fun FREE place in Kissimmee, Florida.

THERE ARE A FEW Places like the Mortem Manor where you pay to be scared to death and of course there is a fee to ride the rides in the Fun Spot theme park! There is a fee to mine for gemstones or a fee to have massages from the fish (which is so awesome ) located inside old town, but just to walk around look at the muscle cars on Friday’s or the antique cars on Saturday, do Karaoke at the bars or listen to the free bands within the streets of old town….there is NO charge! Go enjoy, have fun, shop for souvenirs and eat yummy food, even try a few gator bites! It’s the fun place to be located off of I-4 on Bronson Memorial highway aka (Rt 192) Enjoy!

Don't bother

By UberUbu |

Blech! Used to be a fun and interesting place to go, but now it's become filled with kitchy t-shirt shops, bars, and a few fast food places. At least 4 of the larger restaurant spaces are now dark. Parking is difficult unless you're willing to pay $10, and watch out, they had two tow truck patrolling the area when I was there. I'm sure some will like Old Town, but to me it's just not worth it anymore.

Lots of laughs- Lesther!

Love the old style buildings and vendors

Fun place to take the whole family and reasonable prices

Great family Fun

By Alison R |

We had a wonderful time for a good price. The grounds are well kept and Fun spot next door was amazing. It took us back in time like an old school fair . It was laid back, fun, and safe. We enjoyed it.

We come whenever we are in town. Love this place. Enjoyed some food and drinks. Played some galaga. Saw a gator. Always fun!

Old Town, Orlando area

By Mary M |

We knew nothing about this place before we went there. We went on Saturday morning and there was a "parade" of old cars which was very interesting to see. The location is like an old western town with specialty shops and restaurants. There was an amusement park ride aspect but none of the rides were working when we were there. Next door is a bigger amusement ride are.

By travelpuss |

Shops not open as advertised ! Came to shop at the horror store next to Morton Manor - supposedly open at 12 , arrived 12.45 - still closed ! ATMs always out of order and when they’re working , charge $4.25 to get $100 cash !!!!
Great atmosphere in the evenings - won’t return in the daytime .

Amazing family fun

By Aimz74 |

This place is very reminiscent of every big city old town. There is dining and shops but this place has the added bonus of rides. It is great fun for everyone. There are concerts, car shows and other events in the evening that make it a great.

Lovely relaxing wander

By jf9842 |

Very quiet on day of visit but enjoyed the diners and souvenir shopping
Shopkeepers wonderful
Ice cream here particularly good but where is the key lime pie!!
Wish we had known about the car shows though found out too late to visit
Next door is a fun fair which went down well with the kids
A good day out

Girls trip

By Brenda R |

Cute shops that carry unusual items. There is a car show on Friday and Saturdays. Parking can be hard to find in the evening.

Such a great time

By Jay |

This area was so fun! I would recommend stopping here for a nice afternoon to enjoy the food, drinks, and cars. The rides are terrifying and I would avoid them, but other than that, it was great!

Not how I remember it but some great old cars to see

By Carl H |

As a child I regularly visited old town but it just doesn’t seem the same now. I visited again some 25yrs later and it just didn’t feel or seem the same to what I remember.

Obviously things change over time and not always for the best but there just didn’t seem to be the same vibe as before and even all the great shops I remember have gone.

The good thing that remained was the old cars being on show so it’s worth a visit but not as great as I remembers which was disappointing.

Great place to spend time at .

By Sean M |

Offers places to eat , enjoy a cold drink and lots of different shop to look at . Has a nice area to walk and no need to watch out for traffic , also places to stop and rest if you get tired or just want to watch other people enjoy old town .

Don’t go on a rainy day

By wiii2016 |

On a rainy day it’s a gost town so find something better to do. I guess it can be good on a sunny day with some old classic cars around

Good Free Tour

By Mardipp |

Open place with several themed shops, amusement park, restaurants.
Parking free
Go at night because the lighting makes all the difference in the place.
When we went there was a car parade around the place

This place sucks!! Such a dissapointment

By I'm in a Hawaii State of Mind |

I see what they were trying to accomplish with this development but it is a FAIL. They would need WAY more popular stores to revive this place but now this is a crappy tourist trap. Things are overpriced and it feels dirty. We were excited for the "jerky factory" which had alligator jerky.... lame - tiny stores and overpriced merch.

A similar outdoor shopping setup is Margaritaville. Go there, its 10x better than Old Town.

Arrive Early And Avoid The Crowds

By Linda_R1801 |

This place has traffic backed up on 192 for miles on Friday & Saturday nights. If you want to get free parking and avoid the crowds go early. The cars start arriving at 3pm. That's when we went.

There are lots of fun shops to browse through, and places to stop and have a cool drink or bite to eat. We stopped at Sun On The Beach for drinks. It was open-air and not very busy early in the afternoon. By the time we left it was starting to get busy. We don't do carnival rides but there was that too. It's a great place to kil some time if you're in the area and don't want to spend a ton of money.

Nostalgic, Magical and Fun

By tedlong29 |

I have been to the Orlando area many times and this was my first time coming here. My son is currently in college in the area and we came here to visit Mortem Manor around Halloween while I was visiting. Needless to say, we were amazed at all Old Town had to offer...along with Mortem Manor. I had no idea this place even existed and now I am thrilled to have discovered it. I felt like a huge kid because this place reminded me of the old theme parks and fun fairs I visited when I was a kid. I loved all the shops, rides, games and places to dine. There were even street performers and musicians and just an overall vibe of fun and happiness where everyone around seemed to be having a great time. Needless to say I will definitely be coming back here again on my next visit as I have found one of my new favorite places.

Grear place Great shopping-no traffic

By Ruthanne B |

Shopping and homemade ice cream the people that work rhere are so helpful. And friendly. Be sure ro visit the 1960's store at the end by the ferris wheel

Laid back in Old Town

By Peter M |

We have been visiting the area for many years and we always enjoy Old Town. Sure it's a little....hokey...but it is "old town!"..! Demographics are skewed toward baby boomers but there is something for everyone.

Great Vintage Vibes and a Fun Spot to Shop & Eat At!

By Paula Bendfeldt - GrowingUpBilingual.com |

Old Town is such a fun and unique spot in Kissimmee! We love the classic car show/parade, and it was so cool to see all the beautifully restored vehicles. The vintage Americana vibes and live music gave the place a nostalgic feel. We enjoyed wandering through the quirky shops and grabbing dinner at one of the local restaurants. It’s a great way to spend an evening. We also loved getting on the Ferris wheel. After dinner, we headed to Fun Spot, next door, and everyone in our party, from teens to adults, had a fantastic time on the rides. The entire evening had a unique, nostalgic, real Florida feel to it, and I loved every minute!

Just note that parking can be tricky on event nights, so plan to arrive early. Other than that, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Loved the Old Town Muscle cars cruise

By Mandy1402 |

I was staying in Kissimmee as part of a long holiday to Florida from the UK and as my hotel was very close to Old Town I thought I would walk over to have a look. It's very quaint and has lots of shops, restaurants & bars and on Friday & Saturday they have car shows which is right up my street. I went to see the Muscle cars on the friday afternoon and then went back in the evening to watch them cruise around. Wow, there were some really nice cars there. I went back on Saturday to see the Classic cars as well. There is a large funfair behind the main street and that was very busy. Defintely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Fun and Entertaining experience

By Travel Lovin’ Lady |

This is a great place to go for the weekend or a day of sightseeing or entertainment. It has a good variety of eateries/Restaurants. Flippers Pizzeria and Shoneys breakfast buffet were great. There are several local shops and entertainment options. Live music and fun park rides as well. The weekdays are much less crowded than the weekends, but either way it’s a great time.

Waste of time

By GingerGoodness |

My husband brought me here after saying how much fun he had at Old Town when he was younger. I didn't even want to park the car, the place looked so bad and run down. It reminded me of an old flea market. I think we spent twenty minutes walking around and then left without spending a dime.

A&W and Auntie Ann's

By GirlSGM |

The shopping has changed through the years. However, they still have an A&W Rootbeer & an Auntie Ann's pretzel place. Which gets them a 5☆ in my opinion.

Nice Break From the Big Parks

By FamilyTripper2018 |

We arrived late on a Saturday morning to find almost no crowds at Old Town and Fun Spot. We drove go karts on both the yellow and blue tracks. I think these were the best go-kart tracks I’ve ever done but my 10 yo thought they were too fast and my 6 yo was sad he couldn’t drive.

Next we headed to Black Market Minerals. This store was awesome except for the low hanging ceiling. I recommend going here with a budget as there are many unique items and it was easy to rack up a large bill.

After that we just wandered around Old Town for a while which I thought was neat. We got some sugar pretzels and Lemonade from Auntie Anne’s and took a look at some of the old cars they had there before a few spins on the Ferris wheel before heading back to our resort pool. All-in-all it was a nice non-theme park day.

Great Food

Fun to visit inexpensive not too big but just enough to do. Not much else to say it’s on a strip near a lot of food choices so many place to eat after having fun

Family visit

By barbararH2197OC |

We spent a Sunday afternoon in Old Town. There wasn’t a car show going on so we may need to revisit for that. We went to the magic show and loved it. The host was entertaining and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a stroll around the whole area and ate a lunch at an outside area and had frozen sangria.

I love the uniqueness of this type of place.

Not as good as it used to be

By Nick Creal |

The area had the feel of a funfair back in the UK and the rides gave the same poor value for money. Some parts were starting to look a little worse for wear.

Good place to hangout for the weekend

By Joseph Clyde B |

We walked around and took pictures of the old Classic cars, a nice place to bring your family.
Parking was on a first-come, first-served basis,

So do come early on a Saturday at The Old Town, Kissimmee, FL 34746-4732

we had fun

By annoday |

tickets were kind of high, but we had a good time, shop swere good but all rides were not open too bad.

Great time!

By Indiangurl Q |

Great spot to relax, have fun, eat some great food and meet some good people. I enjoyed Old Town. Very people friendly and great little shopping stops. I Recommend Old Town whether a solo or family travelers, you won't be disappointed.

So many fun shops

By belinda m |

Easy to park, so many shops and activities with an old country town feel. Specialized shops for trinkets, art, souvenirs, food, drink and more. Get your feet eaten by fish, enter the haunted house, watch a magic show, dress up from the Wild West or take the kids on the many rides from carousels to bungy, to roller coaster.

Amazing place to visit

By rob_dufour |

This place was so awesome and worth the money, much cheaper then going to Disney and at least my kids got to go on rides and have some fun!!

AWESOME

By Connie Williams |

Loved the car shows on Friday & Saturday night. Loved all the shops. will go again real soon. Love it Love It Love It.

Looking old

By U1568UAjeffreym |

Our plans for today were cancelled so we stopped here because it was nearby our resort. We went during the day and it was clear this is far more an evening and night destination. I always have found older amusement a bit seedy in the light. We also weren't there for the popular car shows. So the good - parking, prices, and diversity of visitors. The not so good - buildings need to be refurbished, restrooms have broken plumbing and lack of soap, and the worst for a first time visitors - poor signage and not a single map board displaying store and restaurant locations.

Thrilling

By Crystal E |

There’s a Steven for Food and Beverage by the New York Burger Stan, his customer service is awesome, nice guy.

Fun

By nina N |

Really enjoyed the rides here, brilliant for kids! Lesther was the only one working on one section and he was really friendly and the helped one of the children when they fell over. Thank you Lesther for your patience and fun!

Our main visit was to attend the car show. We were surprised at all the activities happening besides the car show. Had a great meal and tried a frozen drink.

Beats The Other Parks, Hands Down

By Steve S |

Old Town is our #1 stop in the Orlando/Kissimmee area on our every Florida vacation. It has been bringing smiles to my family's faces for nearly 10 years now.
This year, we arrived at the park on a Saturday for the opening bell (10 AM). As soon as we walked under the stylish "Welcome To Old Town" portal, the positive energy of the park was reverbrating off of everything and everyone. In fact, the staff was so upbeat and accomodating that they just added to the nearly intolerable level of excitement we experienced there as guests.
The rides are incredible and, at least in our experience, had zero wait times. We were able to ride the Mind Blower Coaster and the Head Rush 360 rides back to back because there were absolutely no lines at all.
In the end, we rode on more rides and had more laughs and family fun in 3 hours than we would have had in a week at Disney. And thats not an exaggeration: We quit counting the number of times that we just rode on our favorite roller coaster at 8.
Oh, and the price: Its $60 for a day pass, but just $108 for a season pass. Thats all of the rides and the go-carts from 10 AM until 10 or 11 PM every day of the week through December 31st. And since we'll be here in Florida for the next 5 days, we opted for the season passes. So now we have 5 more days to explore the rides, shops, and dining experiences available at Old Town!
Nothing against Micky Mouse, but how many days of no-waiting-in-long-lines fun will you get there for around $300?

Nightlife

By Rick D |

A cool place to walk around. Many shops and rides. There's food and drinks everywhere and it's private so you can walk around with your drink. We went during the day so we missed the nightlife but looks like they have some dancing and entertainment. Worth a stop

carssss

By Rob T |

Old Town has many different Shops along with places to eat. They have many rides along with a car show every Friday and Saturday night /A place the whole family can Enjoy.

By dave d |

We went to see the car show and cruise it was good and also there’s plenty more to do ideal for families and friends a great place. Had a good atmosphere and for petrol heads the Friday and Saturday car shows are great. We had some fun and spoke to a few car owners.

Neat spot

By Jessica B |

Lots of things to see and do. Depending on the night of the week, they also have special events like a car show or karaoke or concerts. There are several little shops, restaurants, bars, and some amusement park rides. You can also catch a magic show.

Nice stop - but lousy parking...

By deemarie64 |

Tried to go one night, but very limited tight parking. If the hotels next door were smart, they would charge a small fee to park at their empty lots. We went back in the afternoon the next day and had no trouble parking. It is cute w/ a number of trinket stores and some restaurants. It has a number of rides including some crazy ones like the slingshot type. If you are a beer drinker, they have great prices. Would I make sure I squeezed this place into my trip? Probably not, but if looking for something to do w/out having to pay like 32.00 for parking as theme parks charge, it is a good stop.

Family trip

By Hege-Kristin Sø... G |

We were only five minutes walk away, and we were a lot here, and it looked like the place was built in the style of the Wild West. Many small shops that were exciting to see in. Tivoli, which we didn't take when we had enough in the Disney parks. Several days a week there was car show and cruising there, which was in the middle of the blink for us who are car-interested. Fortaua was well organized for wheelchairs. More fountains and many benches to sit on. Worth a visit

Beautiful view of the giant wheel!

By Sonia N Pina |

We really like the giant wheel. We took pictures with the old cars, but it is not a place q would return, we were just me and my husband. Maybe if you come to Orlando like the grandchildren, it's worth going back...

A fun night out

By Sarah C |

Old town located in Kissimmee is always a fun night out. Mixture of clientele makes it an interesting place to visit. Friday and saturdays are always the best night to visit . Saturday night car show is a must see as old classic cars parade down the streets. There is lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Never a dull moment at this place!

Yikes

By Edwelsh |

Admittedly, we are too old for this kind of place. And it was a chilly Thursday night in January. But, there are more places selling liquor than anything else. Touristy kind of shops, things of never seen before or want to see again. I’m sure it’s hopping with teenagers on warm spring weekends. It’s just kind of depressing right now.

Great way to spend a Saturday night!

By JPA-2009-SEA |

The main street is full of old style shops, bars and restaurants. With almost a wild west feel about it. There was live music with line dancing, as well as an American classic car show. There is a fairground too. So plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Fun addition to the time at Fun Spot America

By James H |

This was a great place to visit and view when attending to Fun Spot America. Especially in the evening and at night, when the music is playing and the bands are singing, the classic cars were interesting as the boys definitely wanted to see the old muscle cars. There was a pyro entertainer who was worth our evening time as well. Some great shops to visit and peruse for unique gifts and styles.

Cozy place

By Musse. |

Be there on Friday or Saturday when they have their cruising with old Yank cars.. It's very nice....

Cozy place and walk around and look at cars...

Lots of nice little shops with quite expensive prices......

But well worth a visit......

A favorite spot

By Steven C |

We’ve been here many times because we like the atmosphere and the shops. We were in the area taking a mini vacation and of course we had to hit up Old Town. A few of the shops and food establishments were closed and due to COVID-19 it’s understandable. But most of our favorites were open and every precaution was in order when we visited so we felt completely safe. Even talked to a very friendly security officer who informed me they don’t allow camera tripods (which I was unaware of) but told me to finish taking my photos of the rides anyways. After I was done I put my tripod in my vehicle. Great experience and all the employees were friendly and helpful as usual! We’ll be back soon!!!

Fun

By Roses |

Fun amusement park area with cute little shops, food, and games~
Do be aware when people try to sell you on timeshare presentations in the area. Parking is also frustrating to find - PLEASE be more considerate when taking a spot since we did end up seeing one car unnecessarily parked over two spots.. Otherwise, glad to have visited~

Old town experience

By Shellie D |

The car shows we’re awesome and love the atmosphere , the shops, restaurants, and live music is a must see

The best place to visit!

By amithyst |

We only went to Kissimmee to go to old town.it is me and my childrens favorite place to visit there. There is so much to do there and our favorite shops are the mineral market and the shop with the anime in it :) We also can not forget a and w rootbeer! it is the best!

Love the car shows, so-so shops and rides

By Jay9875 |

Car shows on Friday and Saturday are great!! Shops are typical tourist traps, but fun. Rides are good but expensive.

Relaxing strolls with shops and great food.

By Sherrie C |

My family loves it here. Have been coming here for past 20 yrs just sad to see so many changed stores but still and great outing with the family a little something for everyone.

Family Fun, Carnival Like Atmosphere

By RNBWJ |

My husband and I visited with our 11 year old. Old town has a very old fashioned carnival/state fair kind of vibe. Even during Covid, most rides/games and restaurants were open. The staff did an amazing job of cleaning and most everyone wore masks and socially distanced. It’s a fun outing, especially for a tween. It’s very dog friendly and even some of the restaurants will let your dog on their patio while you eat. We had a great time and would highly recommend visiting. There is one really good coaster (Mine Blower) and the Go-Carts are super fast and have a challenging track. The other rides are typical carnival rides.

Outings

By twizone1 |

An entertainment area just outside of Orlando. It has everything. Shopping, restaurants, entertainment. They have an old fashioned amusement area with old fashioned rides, go carts and food stuff. In evenings they have a haunted house, magician, paning for gems and more.

great

By David C |

very good time here!. And cheap! Entertainment at all. Close to our hotel Magic Moment Resort. Perfect plan for everyday.

By Julian P |

We make a quick visit to old town lots of shops, cars , games , rides lots of people , kids ok at best needs some upgrades tender lovely and caring

EMPTY THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE

By Shuli O |

They advertise it as something wonderful and maybe on the weekends it is, we went on a Tuesday and it literally looks like a ghost town, there is nothing, it's just two little streets, I liked a Chinese store with Chinese items and items from all over the world, like India , Turkey and Japan among others. There is a mini fair and of the games that were open, my son tried the “vomatron”, something that spins horribly, but he was happy! If you're around, go if not, I don't particularly recommend going back and it's better if it's on the weekend, they say it's more lively.

Lost my phone and what a happy ending!

By Cheryl T |

Lost my phone on the Rollercoaster ride.. The Manager promised he would look for my phone after the park closed… They called me around noonish the next day and found my phone!! How amazing Joel was true to his word, I can’t thank him enough!!!

Family Vacation

By Howard P |

We enjoyed walking around Old Town and it was walking distance from our Resort. The children enjoyed the rides. Great Food and Drinks.

Halloween done right!!!

By Jenn O |

Our family have been coming on and off to old town for the last couple of years. This year they really out did themselves. The Halloween entertainment was amazing! Beetlejuice was hilariously rude, but in a great in character way! The hocus pocus girls were fun to interact with. But do watch your children around them, JK. Frankenstein was so hilarious and loved the kids. And OMG, the Michael Jackson thriller dancers were so cool. We heard from the locals that they normally have fun entertainment like this every weekend. So we are coming back in December to see what cool things they do then. Keep it up old town. My family will definitely be back.

Nostalgic Walkabout

By Wayne C |

Lots of nostalgia gathered in a compact, easily walked area., Next door are rides and attractions for the kiddies, on site are shops and eateries for adults.
We missed the car shows that take place here, but enjoyed strolling down memory lane, browsing the shops and talking with the shop staffers. Good place for souvenirs, surprisingly quiet, considering how close to hwy 192.
Add this to your to do list for the Irlo Bronson hwy tour.

Kinda dirty. Restaurants are poor.

By lcrib |

The restaurants have poor service and need cleaned. I threw my food away at A and W because it was so bad. The root beer was ok. The whole place could use a power wash. Won’t be back. We only came for the car show. It was ok.

Something for nothing

By martine_floridahome |

Really love old town
Free to get in
Pay for what you want
Rides/ shopping /games / food
Everyone is a winner

Dont Go Early

By Robert D |

First its displayed operating hours are misleading. They say they open at 11am and some shops do but it seemed not all were opened. We arrived about 1115am and found limited shops open and the rides were told dont usually start till 2pm or so. So we walked around with our grandchildren for a hour or so then ate lunch at the Mexican restaurant, which was very good ) then since no rides were operating yet we left. I am sure its a great place when its going fully but rather boring if not.

A unique and retro hang out!

By Ali Wilson |

We visited Old Town Kissimmee during our holiday and we absolutely loved the evening vibe here!
The lights around the walkways are beautiful and although we didn't go in we loved the look and sound of the haunted mansion attraction!
We went on a Wednesday and Friday night when they had live music and it was so lovely to be outside in the company of others enjoying the music and having a dance.
It's also great that you can buy drinks to walk around with while you're browsing the windows of the unique retro shops.
And we met some amazing local people too!

By lizakq |

There are lots of uniques stores, different options for food; on certain nights they have car shows and live music. Next to it theres a Fun Spot in case you want to get on some rides. Plenty of parking. Really, what's not to love about this place?

Nice experience, highly suggested

By corvette44 |

My friend and I came here to go to the mineral store, we didn't realize there were so many shops stores restaurants Etc here, and also some rides as well which we didn't partake in but they were available if people wanted to go on rides, would highly suggest stopping by here, about the prices were very fair and reasonable

Great family place

By Joseph F |

Made for great afternoons, early evenings with our toddler. Shops, open air bar/restaurants, live music, car shows, and an amusement park with rides for toddlers to adults. Great fun, friendly people. Reasonable prices!

Nice place to walk around

Been going there for years. Arcade. rides and good eats. You gotta see the cars cruizing on Friday and Saturday nights.

Neat to see

By Michelle W |

This is located right on Irlo Bronson Parkway, aka 192. Easy to find. Lots of rides and different food venues. At night is the best time because it is all lit up and the lights make for great pictures.

Tyler and Kathie ARE AMAZING GEMS!

Tyler and Kathie are amazing! They are a mother and son and they assisted my family through navigating Old Town. Tyler gave us very useful information that made sure we enjoyed our time there. Kathie was just as helpful!

Retro & Haunted Fun

By Christina Vaughn |

Old Town was amazing!!! I love the old-school, retro vibe of each shop and food place. Also, I found a ton of unique items while shopping and there is a year-round haunted house. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Not what it used to be

By Arturoc70 |

We were also here a few years ago. We stayed here for a few hours in the nice shops and eating and drinking establishments.
There is little left of this.
Many buildings are empty.
The remaining shops have become very expensive.
We were gone within 1 1/2 hours

It's ok

By Cruiser16883166277 |

Mediocre. Try to hard to be touristy. Just kind of blah everything just seemed worn out. Shops weren't very good either. It was just something to do

Avoid Daytime

By Bre |

My husband & I visited during the day & were very disappointed. It was deserted, not much to do, & was incredibly dirty. The star rating is for cleanliness. Another couple we went with visited at night & said it was busy & they enjoyed it. The plus side is the drinks were cheap… & you’re probably going to need them :)

Don't miss a Free night at Old Town, Kissimmee

By Dave P |

We have been visiting Florida for over 30 years and never visited "Old Town". As we had a house in Kissimmee this attraction was only a 10 minute drive away.
If you are at all interested in cars, both classic and modern you should pay a visit on either Friday or Saturday nights (or both as we did!). Free to enter and you get the opportunity to view the cars and then watch the parade at 8.30. What an experience and FREE!!!! There are also a number of quaint shops, bars, and eating places.
Well worth a visit.

We stayed across the street for a week, 3 out the 4 days we went to old Town they had some kind of a car show. When I say that our toddler is obsessed with cars, that is a HUGE understatement. He had a blast every time we went over. Perfect way to kill some time.

Porr mgmt ruins cool place

By Enjeru E |

Went for their Bikers night. To find out it's really Sun of the beaches bike night. Cause of poor music choices. It was terrible!
Came back the next night for karaoke. That was a lot of fun. But the bathrooms was mostly unusable.
Such a lovely spot. But you can tell management doesn't care about the guests.

A nice alternative to busy shopping areas and expensive attractions

By Troy H |

A slower paced and less congested shopping area than others. Despite its modest size, there is a lot to see and do here. Parking is free. Its adjacent to the 'Fun Spot' amusement park, which has more of a county fair feel to it. Go carts, a couple coasters and a few kiddie rides. All day Ride ticket (regularly $65) is only $25 for Military Retirees and active duty. We wanted to ride go-carts, so it was a no-brainer. NO admission cost to enter the park and roam around.
Old Town has lots of places to grab a bite, a drink and do some specialty boutique type shopping. There's a leather goods shop, a 60's themed store, surf shop, minerals store, etc. Very unique stores. To our surprise there was an A&W Restaurant tucked in here too. Always a favorite when found.
Definitely an alternative to a Disney or Universal for more budget minded families looking for something to do in Florida. Also, its a place to go on a rainy day since there is a covered sidewalk in front of the stores.

Fun

By bkerst1860 |

Had a great time, lots of little shops to see. Everyone was friendly, the car show was great, A&W had great food.

Fun Place to walk around

By NoPlaceLikeHome |

Old Town has lots of fun shops to browse and several restaurants. We enjoyed the Classic Car Show and would have checked out the other car shows during our visit but we had schedule conflicts. You will want to arrive early because free parking gets scarce quick, then you pay $8-$10 for parking.

Rundown and feels unsafe

By 1travelex |

All of Old Town looks run down and feels unsafe. The businesses are poorly maintained inside and out. Quality retailers are absent.

Games and drinks

By BigOpsC |

You can walk around, play games, get on rides and even drink. Great place for everything. Live music and overall fun.

Love walking around here.

By Lacie R |

Love it. Super cute place to walk around, great vibe. Plenty of restrooms, fun shops, lots of photo-ops and some games. Recommend.

Just ok

By TRVLR |

I looked up to see what time this opened. 10:00 was what I found, So we arrived at 10 thinking we would spend the morning there and into the afternoon only to find that the only people there was another family wondering what was going on. So we walked around the shoping area for a while as the shop owners finally found their way into opening. Some came around 10:30 some at 11:00 and some hadn't opened yet when we left at 1:00. The place was clean and well kept although it is an older park. We went in the shops that were open and they were nice, We got something to eat and left about 1:00. The ride part of the park never did open.

Something for everyone!

By Kristen D |

Old town is super cute! It’s got something for everyone! I went to the haunted house and took some photos in the photobooth at the arcade when I went there. There are many specialty shops like the crystal store, the leather shop, the groovy store, all super great! You can also ride the rides and get food and enjoy the night life.

Funny evening

By Steffi |

We went out for dinner on Halloween evening and then strolled through the streets and attractions. It was a really nice evening and even though it was busy, we felt safe and had a lot of fun watching people celebrate.

So much to see and do!

By lesnet81 |

My Husband and I stayed at a Hotel nearby Old Town. We went to Old Town everyday to walk around. There is something going on everyday. We especially loved the Karaoke twice a week, and the Car shows were amazing! We had such a great time we are planning to stay near again next year.

Family Friendly Band's with no talent

By Dizzy W |

You had the Micha l Jackson Thriller dancers out during the crappy talented bands break. Can you do it the other way around? We wanted pics with them but couldn't cause of your poor untalented bands. Come out and see no one stays to listen. But boy were we feeling like we were a concert. Locked in this large mob when the dancers came on.

We will be coming back to that big stage on Halloween for the yearly Halloween contest. Hopefully I can find myself writing a better review then. We keep trying to win the grand prize of the TV.

Anniversary

By Lois W |

We just stopped in to walk around when the rain started. Seems like lots of fun. Don’t miss the Magic Show.

By Denise T |

Nice variety of shops and activities including bars, restrants, haunted house, tatoo parlar, and fair rides. The street have direction as to where to find popular attractions which is helpful also. You can walk on the road without the worry of getting hit because no vehicals are allowed in Old Town.

New Fun in an Old Town

By Connor H |

I recently visited Old Town in Kissimmee Florida and I have to say it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was fun and inviting, with a variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. The rides were also a lot of fun and there was something for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend Old Town to anyone looking for a great time in Kissimmee!

FUN

By watsdMay2022 |

Fun area to walk around and watch people on the rides. Shops are also fun to visit and interesting. Parking is a little difficult unless you want to pay a LOT!

Eating option which you may have missed

By John H |

Go to Sakeba!! Amazing place.great food, clean ,very good price and great service.
We visited during happy hour so got beer for $2!
The food I got cost $18, and considering the quality and quantity speaks volumes. We learned about this place from a utube video from a guy called themeparkbazza so thanks to him for that.

Avoid if you can

By Law74 |

Such a disappointment! We cave here 17 years ago and had great memories.
Brought our kids back to see it and it’s a complete dive! Run down, seedy, and not at all how we remember it. Couldn’t wait to leave. Such a shame.

Great place to visit

By Freerider1965 |

Lots of shops, bars and restaurants there plus fun spot is next door, live music, car shows etc, it's a great atmosphere, we always visit whilst we are in Kissimmee .

Friday muscle car show

By englishsunseeker |

We stayed at Celebration Suites opposite and visited when they had their muscle car show on. It's a quirky little fake town with lots of shops/bars to explore as well as rides. Great friendly atmosphere, very safe with security and friendly police. A must do if you like cars

Popcorn company

By Toneisha B |

Me and my family went to the popcorn company and we was very much please with the popcorn. They were buttery and good. Will definitely recommend and we will be returning.

Nice classic car show

By dennys34 |

Classic car show on saturdays is nice - a lot of shops and a bit spectacle - it’s ok for a stop - get coupon book at general store

Car show

By ndfar |

Car show Had some foood and drink. Enjoyed the day. We will return someday. Lots of things to do with a amusement park and shopping.

Fantastic place to go to.

By pammy62 |

We have been to Old Town Kissimmee before but this time we went on a Wednesday and a Friday night. On the Friday Night thee was a Muscle Car Show with the Cars doing a Cruise down the Street. It was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was great. Then on the Wednesday night it was a Classic Car show there was not many cars but what was there was really nice to see. I would recommend a night there.

Worth a visit but not much there

By Jackie S |

We had a walk around the shops. And a few rides which we didn’t go on as far too ridiculous. We spent the evening in a very friendly pub and had an ok snack

Fun Night in Old Town

By Kim R |

Went on a Friday Night for the custom car show. Plenty of cars to see - very enjoyable. Amusement Park is large and looked really neat. We didn’t ride any rides. The Main Street was alive with action but the shops are mostly tourist traps. Plenty of restaurants and 3 or 4 bars. Parking was difficult- partly because the car show took up some of the available parking. We just shelled out the $10 and parked in the paid lot. All and all it was an enjoyable evening.

Sightseeing

By Lenquesha |

It was beautiful. Lots stores. Restaurant. We enjoyed the view of classic cars . It was peaceful. Very inexpensive

2020-2023 “It Has Been a While”

By mountain22 |

Still a nice place to enjoy it as a couple or with family or friends. With over 60 shops, restaurants and several amusements rides. There is no fee to come inside, however, in order to ride the rides, you must purchase tickets.
On Sunday, there is a large display of several vintage of “mussel cars” for your enjoyment.
Masks are optional, except at some stores are mandatory.

Date day with hubby

By Jenny B |

This place is old and worn down.Needs to be updated or closed up.Buildings most not handicap accessible.Parking is a joke .

Fun fun and shopping too.

By Phyllis R |

We shop our way through Old Town every time we're in Kissimmee. The kids go to the amusement park for the rides and we go from shop to shop up and down the street. Fun for everyone! 😁

A fun place to walk around

By amandaC207603 |

Car shows are great, live bands a few nights per week. Fun shops and food places. Across the street from a food truck place. It’s a fun place to walk around, get a beer and a souvenir and listen to music.

Christmas time in Florida

By Kim |

We enjoyed walking around and seeing some old cars. The kids had a great time at the fun spot. Lots off different activities for the whole family. Only problem was wearing of masks was not enforced and should be.

Great CLEAN COVID fun

By Mrs_Ware229 |

I took two 13 year old girls. We had a great time and only rode 2 rides...this is adjacent to Fun Spot in KISSIMMEE. We passed by for years and now I regret it. Im so amazed on how they clean after each person got off the rides. Very reasonable. Im going back later to finish shopping.

Popcorn Shop

By Jamilla K |

Popcorn is very good. So many flavors! Try the Chicago mix. Staff very nice and polite. Prices are very affordable and reasonable.

Nice classic cars

By summer-dreams14 |

Great way to spend an afternoon. Classic car show was fun, shops are ok, great that we could bring the dog.

Something for everyone

By Joyce K |

What a fun place. Something for everyone. We were lucky to go on a night where they had a live band and we enjoyed the "older style" music. Also enjoyed watching the rides but none of us were brave enough to go on any of them. We will definitely go back when we are in town.

I would go again!

By Lori V |

Visit every year one of my favorite places! Something for everyone to do....restaurants, adult entertainments, shopping and rides for the young adults/kids

Low-key enjoyable walk-around

By on_the_go_98765 |

After reading all the TA reviews and reading the canned responses from Jason S. (Old Town management), I would kindly ask him to forgo any automatic replies on our behalf. Insincerity is its own worst enemy.

As for Old Town, this was our first visit to Old Town and we were there mid-morning. So many fun shops with a variety of must-haves for sale absolutely impressed us. The exteriors were so old-western town inspired; it really enticed us to walk further and further into this quite large village.

So many fun eating options, great shopping opportunities, and lots of character (although not authentic, still fun). We bought and shopped and took in the sights of the rides and thrills and chills. Not today for us, thank you. Maybe next time?

Fun area

By EFW2014 |

A must do if your looking for a less expensive experience. It’s free to walk around and people watch. The drinks are not that much. Open containers allowed and encouraged. We had a blast at the karaoke bar!

By anshuvilla |

Was so much fun, some rides and attractions, not as crowded as the bigger amusement parks. Lots of restaurants and bars. Get to go on rides without waiting hours.

Great afternoon

By Frank R |

This was our first time here and we purchased the arm bands for my grandson and I. It paid for itself within the first hour. We did the go karts about 8 times each, along with the Ferris wheel, roller coasters and many others. My wife liked the shops in the Old Town shopping area.

Family Fun!

By Linda C |

We visit Old Town every year and are never disappointed. The only drawback is that the stores are supposed to open at 10 am, per the website, and we arrived this year at 1015 am and many venues were closed. Otherwise, we had fun!

Great visit

By Mervyn.j. b |

As a family this is our 4th holiday to Florida but have never been to Old Town on other visits. This time we decided to visit and what a great little place, Friday is the muscle car show and Saturday is the classic car show, there is also a good varity of shops and resturants a live band and funfair, so pleased we decided to visit.

A great place to go on a night w/out Disney

By Arnie S |

If you want to get away from the Disney World experience and see some good entertainment--head to Old Town--just a few miles east on 192 from Disney. There are some rides but the fun is when they have the car shows--they're free too! Don't miss the Coca Cola store.

Old Town, unforgettable place!

By waldenis o |

I love Old Town! My family and I went there for the second time! There is an exhibition of beautiful old cars, a live show and lots of fun! Rating 1000!

Ehhh…just okay.

By kerrih442018 |

We headed here to experience old Florida. That is exactly what we got. I found an old Zultan fortune telling machine, which was cool. Went into the Garra Spa and had little fish exfoliate my feet - that was interesting. If your bored swing through. If not skip it.

Pathetic!

By Lisa H |

This is a run down dump charging crazy prices. The magic show was ridiculous. Magician messed up almost every trick. And the place is a dirty, dusty mess. The "newly renovated" arcade must have been renovated in 1976. They wanted $59 per head for a ride pass for a moderate collection of carnival rides in the "fun spot". When we asked about riding the merry-go-round they said $5/pp. So $40 for my group of 8 to ride a carrousel? Don't think so. The western shooting gallery we were looking forward to was a deserted little nook with 2 out of 5 stations working (maybe) and was pitiful looking. The weirdest and most random collection of gift shops that I cannot imagine how they stay in business. Avoid this disaster area.

Always a good vibe on a nice evening

By Uneaka D |

I always like the atmosphere at Old Town especially during the early evening. There are many rides and different shops to visit. I did not go on any rides this trip although I like the race cars. I stopped by the Dipping Dots and Funnel cake station which is always nice.

One of my favorite shops to visit is The Soap Company Store with it's handmade great soap, bath and shower bombs.

Unique

By Amber P |

Unique experience- we went at night and there was a lot of drinking going on so forewarning if you have small kids.

Fun Time

By Donald M |

A great place to see and experience and lots of different stuff to see. Storefront is very unique and very different stuff to see and do

Great spot to go

By Ed M |

What a wonderful place to visit. This is a great little area with loads to see and do. There are weekly car shows and the cars are well kept and the owners love to talk about the cars they own.

There is an amusement area beside the old town which is a great way to pass the day and there are loads of shops to explore.

El Cilantrillo (Old Town Kissimmee ) Way Too Loud

By Anne H |

We were a large group looking to enjoy dinner at Old Town. Our choices for the evening were El Cilantrillo or Flippers Pizzaria. The music outside of El Cilantrillo was obscenely loud. In fact it was so loud that it carried rudely to the grandstand where a band was playing. We left. If you’re going to play music so loud that it takes over all other venues then please, Old Town Association, make those restaurants play their music inside.

Terrific!!

By colleenR |

Lots of street artists, cool reasonably price shops. Love the magic show! Has rides for the little kids, and bigger kids! Classic cars, places for food and drink. It’s just neat.

Magic is wonderful

By Ýmir Logi Ó |

I really loved it there in old town, especially the magic show which was very interactive and fun from a very experienced and funny magician that has about 20 years of experience, I would love to see the show again

Great place to visit

By Patty S |

I loved how clean it was, and the family-friendly atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and there are so many activities available. Karaoke, car shows, live bands, the amusement park area and game rooms. There was a nice variety of shops and restaurants, all within walking distance of our hotel.

Great Tattoo Shop and an even better artist

By Donna MC |

I brought my daughter to Ink Tattoo to get her nose pierced. My son decided to get his ears pierced and I decided to finally get another tattoo. The tattoo artist (over 25 yrs exp) talked me through something special to me. I have a few tattoos already. However, this was the best experience !!!!!!

Always a great time

By Geisha_25 |

Great place to be with family, friends, couples. Lots of rides & different attractions. Restaurants & entertainment. Highly recommended. Its a must if visiting Kissimmee. Its free parking & entrance.

Christmas

By Tiffani N |

I really enjoyed Old Time on my trip to Florida during Christmas week. The weather was great the 1st two nights. My last 2 nights was cold. I always enjoy the rides and the shops.

Excellent Spot!

By Juanma S |

Very good place. I really liked the atmosphere. The machines are very good. And the prices are more or less. If you have big children who get bored quickly or only get into the strong ones. I recommend the $36 pass that includes 4 machines and is fine. The one for 70 includes everything but there are not so many attractions for adults.

Family vacation

By Mary |

Great! Tons of stores, food, dinks for kids and Adults. Live music amazing atmosphere. Store owners not over priced or pushy. Definitely worth going.

Past it’s Prime

By Leigh-Traveler2015 |

I think this is supposed to be a remake of the old 1960s and 70’s amusement parks. The shops are junk, just as they were then. There are rides. Other than that, total fail. The place is a ghost town. It’s summer and anything fun is filled with families enjoying the experience.
It’s free to walk around.

A must visit

By Stepnrezah |

Old was recommended to me and I must say it was well worth the visit we enjoyed strolling along checking out all the shops picked up a few things. A must see

I’ve been coming here since 2003 and I throughly enjoy it, each outing is like a new experience for me and my family.

By Tony M |

Everything is great, would love to see all the shops open again. I know when things return to normal, it will be like the Old Town of yesterday.

Fun for Kids and Adults

By RJD |

Orlando has some must see spots for us with every trip and Old Towne is that trip. Amusment park rides and things for kiddies including ice cream parlor and dessert places along with a must visit pizza place and taco house along with a nice adult drinking place.

Came to check out Mortem Manor

By jenjohnsey |

We came to Old Town to go through Mortem Manor which was so much fun! Lots of screams! We were pleasantly surprised at what a neat little area Old Town is. We walked around and checked out the shops too. Lots to do in a quaint little area.

Vacation

By Shane M |

Car show was definitely my favorite part. The bars there are also very cool. If you like to walk around and look in little shops this is good place for you. If you have children they will also enjoy it. Old Town has carnival type rides along with go carts and other extreme rides like the sling shot.

Parking is free

By Quinones |

Like this place.I always go with my family.Tiene de todo un poco, siempre esta lleno.Awesome car shows and shops.Lo recomiendo.

Amazing

By Janelle R |

I love this place, the atmosphere the people was amazing. My daughter and I had so much fun there , I had so much fun after dark at the bars and just walking around in general

Old town

By annatravel737 |

Great place, were you can feel real spirit from back years. You can feel the American old style. Also, great place were you can have good lunch, good hand made ice-cream, some fun and rides, buy some souvenirs, shop -"as seen on TV", out door cinema, and lots more.

Great!

By Gregrick a |

Its ok . not the best but not the worst . its slow and weird but kinda fun some times with the car shows

Nice place, but food is expensive with zero quality

By Cszepak |

Nice place to walk around. Some interesting little stores. Food is expensive for what it offers (low quality). Nice parade with classic, modified and sports cars.

Nice Atmosphere

By ccarlson2022 |

Nice atmosphere and something for everyone in the family.

Free parking! Many shops, rides, eateries, and entertainment. Whole area has a nice vibe. It is probably a couple of blocks long and wide so the walking isn’t terrible.

Everything seemed to be reasonable priced. It’s isn’t Disney or Universal but you don’t have to pay the price for those either!

I probably wouldn’t go every week if I was local but I would go back for a couple of hours if I had the time.

Attractive ride

By Culture65603967380 |

Nice walk to buy souvenirs and gastronomy. Listen to live music. It's like going back in time for a while. Very nice.

Many attractions here

By Nick910 |

There are all sorts of things here, rides, places to eat, different shopping ideas. Well worth a visit

Not as good as it was

By FarAway195750 |

Not the same as once was,the thing's that made it unique are gone. The British style restaurant that you could sit in the bus,or jail ect gone. Old style hand made candy stores I didn't see,Mostly cheap tourist find anywhere stores, bars nothing special, parking sucked.

Great fun & Good times

By The Traveler |

We've been here a few times now. Love the shops, the car shows, live entertainment & the food. It's within walking distance from alot of hotels.
They seem to always have something going on here!
Fun spot is right next to this and is fun also if you are into small rides carnival style.

horrible experience! They are towing vehicles randomly from the parking lot to earn $225 per car. I never come back

By FERNANDO B |

horrible experience! they are hauling vehicles randomly from the parking lot to profit $225 per car. nonsense! never come back! I do not recommend! be very careful if you go there by car

Americana

By Derek W |

Due to covid l will miss Florida this winter.Old Town Kissimmee is a favourite of mine, car parade, bars, atmosphere. This place feels like old America, friendly people and great value. Hope to see you all next year.

Great times always

By Rybo F |

We always go here in vacation to Orla do because we love it. Food is pretty good and the atmosphere is very fun.

This is a must see places.

By Jim S |

We come to Kissimmee every year. We always make this one of our must see places. Saturday night they have a car show, and cruise. Great cars, good bars with good beer and food ( I had the fried alligator). Great little shops and stores to visit. The also have rides and games for all ages. We did the giant (300' tall) swing a few years ago, and recommend it if you have the guts to do it. A must see.

Do you smell exhaust?

By Lee P |

Shop after shop that includes restaurants, ice cream, side shows, bars and other Boardwalk type businesses. There are bands that play and plenty of old cars! Friday nite has a parade of shiny vintage cars and trucks. Enjoy the sights. Parking in the lot is $10. but free parking available but difficult. Amusements are attached to Old Town.

quick visit

By Karen H |

I thought there would be more to do there. The shops were okay and the rides weren't open yet. Plenty of day parking, not much at night

Disappointing

By Psipsina |

Maybe I was hankering back to what must have been the glory days of this place in the early 1990's when I previously visited. I was so disappointed , the place was run down , so many places were shut down. The entertainment on a Wednesday night consisted of locals singing sexually explicit songs on karaoke - the host had to call them off. We did eat a nice pizza at Flippers.

Nice little place

By Lowdgerine |

Great place to spend the day and the evening when festivities are happening. Otherwise it's just a nice little place to have a peaceful stroll.

No Social Distancing/Masks

By Kate Derilus |

Would give 5 stars for entrainment/rides for all ages, and all the options for restaurants and bars, however, will not return until coronavirus is completely under control. ZERO social distancing, masks are not required, just recommended. We went on Saturday evening and there were easily over 2,000 people there. The kids had fun though, but I couldn’t wait to leave. Too close for comfort.

Walking off the our food from the Food Trucks

By Munchie73 |

Haven't been in Old Town in a few Years. We just at the Food T4ucks across the street and decided to walk. It brought me back when I was in my teens coming to Florida with my family walking the strip and looking at the rides the mini car show. Went into Post Mortem Shop I won a Michael Meyers plushie at the claw machine. Met a work in the Post Mortem experience which was cool. Watched some Kareoke at one of the bars. It was a good night. Love it

Cool spot with friendly people

By Mike from Rival Town |

Cool spot! Lots of cool little shops with very nice people running them! Kids should have fun here too. No need to go bright and early, I’d personally wait for around 1:00, that should be plenty of time for all of the shops to slowly open. I love this part of Florida!

Fun place for kids

By Eva L |

Fun place for kids. The workers were so polite and definitely pride themselves in their safety checks when allowing the kids to board rides. The refillable all season long cup is worth the cost.

Night and Day

By esm321 |

This place is literally Night and Day. We went at night at it was party-time - lots and lots of drinking, a lot of people, not much mask-wearing, lots of pot-smoking, parking was difficult. But... we went back during the day, less crowded, great shops, no drunk people. We found it to be clean and really enjoyed the classic cars. Very cute shops and lots of options for food and drinks. Would like to see masks more enforced. Worth checking out the car shows when they have them.

Worth including in your itinerary

By André Luis L |

Perfect place for a late afternoon refreshment. Old Town has a very American atmosphere, with little shops and eateries. Pleasant and calm place.
Next door is an amusement park that appeals to little ones (Fun Spot)

Not very "young" child oriented

By JlynB5 |

Old Town is more for adults & teenagers. They loved the Ninja course and bought some bath bombs at one of the shops. Overall, nice little stroll.

Nostalgia Americana with bonus car show

By Dorset Fred |

Quaint little area, 2nd visit as previously visited 5 years ago when we visited Florida from UK. Visited on Friday as muscle/ classic cars turn up for viewing. Visited with young family late afternoon. Will visit again as nostalgic Americana.

Something different away from Disney

By G_L3M |

Spent the day at Disney springs and got an Uber here at 3pm. Met other family members. Had drink in a bar first then had a walk around. Car show was on. We stayed until about 8pm. Had lots of fun on some rides at fun spot. Enjoyed the cars going around. Really fun different thing to do to get away from the parks for an evening. Was a Beatles tribute band on stage. It was really busy, bars were full and only a few eating places were all fun. We managed to get a bench outside A&Ws, hotdog was nice the staff rude inside and the toilets were the worst on whole 2 weeks trip absolutely filthy. Would definitely visit again when in Orlando. I wouldn’t visit earlier than 3pm as not many shops or anything.

Not family friendly

By Jennifer P |

We just stopped by on a Monday evening at around 6:30. I honestly felt unsafe and we left almost immediately. We weren’t there 5 minutes and a drunk couple was having some sort of domestic dispute. As we walked back there was some sort of security booth but they need to be more present. There are a lot of empty storefronts and there’s nothing notable to go into. I would never have brought my kids here and definitely will not be back.

Great little theme park, bars and shopping

By bodhi_sam |

It's all about the atmosphere here. The little old town area has some fun shops, activities and bars. You can get a drink and stroll around the area. Thursday nights they have family friendly karaoke on a little stage in the center and it draws a fun, friendly crowd. The theme park offers a lot of good rides.

its a place to visit

By Nani R |

This is a fun place to give for a couple of hours. Me personally the rides is a little expensive. It's more like a carnival, but there is shopping and you can find great deals. Also there are other things to do, dining and you can get some drinks. but don't expect to be there all day.

Cheeseball

By Tracey C |

Cheeseball- totally underwhelmed and disappointed. Cheap stores and restaurants. We came at 5pm on a Tues and nobody was here. Maybe this is a weekend place?

Cozy place to stroll around

By TomHarald |

A small old-style town where there is also a small amusement park. Nicely designed with many different shops, eateries and other things. Parking is free and there was plenty of space when we were there in the middle of the day

Just ok

By Aaronandtonya |

We have never been here until this past stay in Kissimmee. Kind of boring for shopping. Flipper’s pizza was good! Parking was challenging. We did not ride the carnival rides. Probably won’t make this a stop on more vacation visits.

Worth checking out

By Michelle N |

This is a little boardwalk type area with a few carnival rides and go carts. There are a lot bars/restaurants and a few tourist trap kind of souvenir places too. There is a stage in the center with varying entertainment most nights.

A Favourite Haunt - year in, year out

By Alastar |

We've been coming to Old Town on our Days and Nights off from Disney every time we visit the area. So much so, we always make sure we stay at a hotel that is within walking distance of Old Town. There is so much on offer food wise, there is a large and eclectic collection of shops and other attractions. The bars are fun and the drinks are touristy prices, but nothing too over the top, like other places in the extended greater Orlando area. We've met so many wonderful people over the years in these shops and bars, a few still there, others have since moved on, but most are always happy to chat you.
We love the cruise nights with the classic cars and the muscle cars, where you can walk amongst them before and after.
I'm trying to put 10 years worth of visits (last visit was end of August/beginning of September 2023) into one review, yet I shouldn't because the place has changed, yet the feel hasn't.
As I say, our two favourite places to stay are within walking distance.
I always recommend this place to any fellow Brit visiting the area.

Chanced upon a video of the old town so when in rome...

Decided to go see what the old town is all about and loved it. My daughter especially loved the crystal shop and popcorn emporium. The rides also went down well.

Fun place to enjoy the day

By Angie Jones |

There were a lot of shops and many many places to grab an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. Most of the food locations were closed or on limited hours due to Covid.
We enjoyed walking around looking at the shops and scenery.

Waste of Time

Not the greatest place to visit. Over crowded for what it was. Run down poor man’s amusement park. I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

Great place to chill...

By RY55 |

A varied selection of stores and food and beverage sellers in an old Floridian style layout. Plenty of adrenaline inducing rides for the adventurous (or foolhardy!)

Great experience!

I've been coming to Old Town Kissimmee FL for decades...
Nice place and walkable too.
Over the years shops come and go
but always inviting and entertaining!

Great place to pass time

By Matthew M |

Our son loves when they have the car shows here. Perfect companion to Fun Town next store. It can get alittle crowded at night on the weekends.

Amazing time’

Kristopher was a great help with the rides and made sure we were safe and having fun! We will be returning and hopefully we will see him again!

A little run down

By Celia48d |

I could Imagine what this area was like when it first opened, before the big two parks were built. It was designed to look like an old time town, with many shops and rides for kids. The shops were unique although quite a few were not open. If the town refurbished old town, it could shine.

Great family spot!

By MrsKopi |

This unknown spot is fantastic for family’s! Free to enter and free to park although parking can get busy throughout the day. It’s like a permanent fair. Kids loved the rides and the surroundings kept them entertained.

Very old not much to do there. Not worth your time

By Cynthia K |

you can rent fast cars here or ride the old ferris wheel.. The shops are very over priced and nothing special. It's really a waste of time.

Nice shops

By A Velas |

Much like most tourist shops, they were nice and had plenty of variety. They do offer alcohol and most nights a car show and/or live entertainment. It was nice to walk around.

Eclectic Throwback

By Vacationer440493 |

Very interesting place... lots of the older rides with some newer ones thrown in... short wait times... interesting food selections.... trinket type shops but some unique... people are a varied bunch... from the rich to the bohemian... ride ticket is $50 for the day... no charge for admission to amusement park... parking options better along south side of Amusement Park. Great haunted house... poor mans Disney Springs... not upscale food but people were having fun... not everyone’s cup of tea... sort of a carnival atmosphere but clean... if expecting pomp and circumstance at a park without admission fees, does not charge for parking, and ride wait times are 20 min or less... maybe one has unrealistic expectations ...

Management needs to do better

By Dizzy W |

Management obviously doesn't care about this place. Same old Bloody Bands. Barely cars show up for the car show. Karaoke is awful. It used to be family friendly on the main stage. It's now run by smaller businesses filled with drunkards looking for fights and explicit music. We did like the Thriller dancers on our recent trip. But they couldn't stay long cause of the awful band. Bathrooms smell like piss and are sticky. Stalls and sinks broken from like a bloody year ago.
