Theatre going at the Paramount is very good. The theatre large and plenty of leg room. My only criticism is the theatre runs way too warm.

Concerts are top notch. Seats are comfortable and easy to find. We have gone downtown and have complained about the traffic, the parking, the cost of the tickets and the high price of eating before or afterwards. It is even worse if it raining or snowing. Living in the Fox Valley makes the Paramount THE PLACE TO GO.

We purchased five seats in the fifth row, on the lefts side, to see Million Dollar Quartet. Paid top price. The play and music were outstanding. But we only had a partial view of the stage, since the staging was on an angle. We were not told about the viewing problem when buying the tickets. Everyone in the section was complaining. The theatre should not have sold these seats. We will never go back to this theater.

The Paramount Theatre has a great Broadway play series. This is my third season as a subscriber to the series. They also have a great variety of concerts as well as old movies.

We have not missed a show since it began. Broadway talent for MIdwest pricing. Staff is friendly and most accommodating. Full orchestration completes each program. At twenty-five dollars a show, fans have learned to book early.

Knew all the lyrics! What a wonderful musical & at the Paramount, there is not a bad seat in the house. Great local talent. They serve Two Bros which is an added plus!

Plenty of free parking across from 1st 2nd bank. Easy in and out of theatre even though very crowded.

Bought a subscription series and saw 4 shows here. Just renewed for next year. Sight lines are good and sound is very clear and easy to hear. The productions are very good and well acted and produced. The only negative is the lack of bathrooms and the long waits. Also there are not enough bars/refreshment stands, this could be easily improved with little to no cost.

I always enjoy going here as the quality of performances are consistently good. Very clean and good service. Facility is plain and not like the old spectacular theaters. Price is reasonable parking pretty easy.

Horrible sound engineer didn’t adjust the balance for the substitute singers. Screeching sounds from the lead singer last night of Sound of Music.

The cost of a ticket is so unbelievably reasonable and the performances have been above what I have seen in the big cities. The city of Aurora also has a wonderful venue called River's Edge for live music entertainment. Take the commuter train from the city to a venue with less traffic and excellent performances! I have been to all Broadway performances guessing like at least 20, all different types, different music, etc. Each one better than the last...My last visit was for Westside Story in February 2016.

I've seen several musical productions at the Paramount and would definitely rate the talent as being on par with what I've seen in New York on a Broadway stage. The theater is gorgeous as well as being a historical gem. The productions are bigger than most I've seen in Chicago and the talent is phenomenal. Plus the drinks are cheap and can be brought into the theater. Definitely worth the drive from Arlington Heights.

The Paramount is a fabulous theater - beautiful decor, comfortable seats and top notch productions. We recently saw “The Secret of My Success.” The acting, dancing and singing, as well as the set, were all first-rate. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Come early and grab a bite to eat (tasty hot dogs, cookies, etc.) and drink. They have a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, which you can take to your seat.

Fantastic shows that rival anything offered on Broadway or in Chicago. Classic theatre that is having a seat upgrade next year.

very welcoming and elegant atmosphere,..many family performances.,.reasonable prices.,.friendly ushers.,.great seating

This is a great theater! I have only seen a couple of shows here, but the quality of the shows was terrific and rivals that of downtown Chicago. The theater doesn't seem to have any really bad seats to see your show.

Goes back to the days of real theater! Saw "The Million Dollar Quartet". "Snack bar" also serves alcohol

We love the Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora! They have first class productions and entertainment in a beautiful theatre. All the creativity, passion and commitment of any Chicago venue without the price. Take the train in and see what you've been missing.

We have been subscription members for 3 years and the productions continue to impress. Interesting, functional sets support the wonderfully talented performers.

I buy the yearly subscription for the 4 Broadway shows and HIGHLY recommend! Such a great deal at less than $130 for 4 shows. The production of each show is as close to Chicago as you can get but is easier to get to and at a much better price! The Paramount customer service is also outstanding to accommodate the best seats and changing your date if needed!

We've seen several shows and been part of several events at Paramount. Great theater seating, cozy size, not a bad seat in the house. Also sound and lighting is great!

I took my brother and sister-in law to this theater to see Christmas Story: The Musical. I love the character of this theater, built back when they were making "magical" palaces. We were seating in the orchestra area in the back. We had good view of the show and the audio was very good. Cast and production was wonderful. We walked around the theater upper floor during the intermission, and there was a wonderful view of the Fox river from there. (Paramount is on an island surrounded by the river.

Great show great theater! The show was sold out. Parking is $10 which should be included with show ticket price if you ask me..i spent $400 for show tickets, then they ask for $10 per car to park..kinda tacky.

We went and saw Cats at the Paramount. They did a great job! We enjoyed how it was decorated and how well they performed!

I love the Paramount Theater. I recently saw the Little Mermaid and it was first class entertainment. The building is absolutely beautiful. It takes you back to a different era. Seating is generous which is very nice. Parking is very easy and you can park close to the theater. Definitely visit this venue.

This is an excellent venue! This was the location of my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. The venue is a restored Art Deco styled movie theater used now for theatrical productions, performances and concerts. It is also used to host events and weddings. Kelsey, the event coordinator, made sure everything went off like clockwork!!! She made sure everyone had everything they needed and kept everything running smoothly before and during the event! I cannot express enough how well she performed her job! They know what they're doing!

Not only is this theatre beautiful the shows are top rate. If you can go see a show/ play there you will not be disappointed!

Been coming to the Paramount for several years, taking advantage of their great off Broadway shows. Get the season tickets and buy all four of their shows in advance. Performances measure up to anything you see in Chicago, on Broadway or in London & I’ve been to all of these places. Tickets are far cheaper and parking is much easier also. Truly a gem of a place. This is what will bring Aurora back to its former glory of nothing else will

We've been a fan of the Paramount Theatre for many years, enjoying the offerings in many different arenas . . . classical, dance, comedy, plays, etc. But, for the past few years, the Broadway Series has brought incredible talent and shows t the area. We have benefited from being a series ticket holder (a wonderful bargain) for four seasons, and each and every show is better than the last.

This is a terrific place to see a show. It is a beautiful setting and offers valet parking. They continue to bring in high quality shows that appeal to a wide variety of audiences.

We have been a subscriber at the Paramount for a few years. They have outstanding entertainment all year.

A beautiful theater in the Western suburbs. Intimate venue, good views of the stage. Parking is convenient in the parking garage down the street.

The Paramount offers a Subscription package for it's Broadway Series. You get to see 4 Broadway Musicals for only $100.00. That's only $25.00 a show! Awesome deal! Awesome shows! Series starts in Sept. with the last in March. Without the package your pay about $100.00 a show! Give the Paramount a try you will not be disappointed.

We go a few times a year. Always a great experience. Defintly worth paying a little extra for the premium customer service.

I went here as a child for Saturday children movies.
they now have stage plays and old movies on the big screen
Weve seen Bobby Vinton and Donnie and marie twice.

Absolutely spectacular setting to see a show. The theater itself has been lovingly restored and is gorgeous. The amenities are very nice with a bar in the lobby. Ample parking is available. Highly recommended.

The play and actors were great. The live orchestra was very good and the set was amazing. The theater is beautiful and the evening was delightful. My only concern centered on not hearing everything the actors sang even though I was in the 17th row in the orchestra section. I'm looking forward to seeing Hairspray this February.

The Paramount is a beautiful theater in downtown Aurora. It has the gorgeous look of yesteryear but has entertainment that is very current! The Broadway series is the best deal in the Chicago area and the quality of the productions rivals those in Chicago. You won't be disappointed.

You will never go wrong catching a show or performance at the Paramount Theatre. They have done an excellent job at bringing great shows to the Western Suburbs. The inside of the theatre is beautiful.

loved all 4 shows in the series. so much value, close to home, great food before or after shows in the area, free parking.

The historical Paramount theater has been beautifully restored and now maintained.. I have seen a few productions at the Paramount Theater and have yet to be disappointed, the set designs are detailed and the actors are too notch. I feel so lucky to have such a high quality theater so close to home without having to drive into the city! Well worth the time!

I have seen several shows this past season (2018-2019) at the Paramount. Each time I have been extremely impressed by the level of the performances and the quality of the productions. I would stand these productions next to any Broadway show in a heartbeat knowing they would meet and even surpass them in quality. I strongly encourage anyone desiring an evening of good theater to head to Aurora and the Paramount Theater. You will not regret it.

The theatre is beautiful- the Broadway series are the best entertainment value going in the western burbs- if you enjoy live theater, you will want to check out their Broadway Subscription Series- buy 4 tickets, get 4 tickets free....the quality and talent are truly exceptional.

We have gone to the Paramount since the Broadway series started and enjoyed almost all of them. Why go to Chicago and spend extra time and money. Great historic theatre. Wish the seats were wider.

The Paramount Theatre started its life as a movie palace, in 1931. By the 1970s, this part of its life was over & was something of a white elephant. It survived because some visionaries, under the auspices of the Aurora Civic Center Authority, worked to make possible the complete restoration of this gem. Thie restoration took 2 years, at the end of which the theatre opened as the Paramount Arts Center. Since then, the Paramount has served as the town square for Aurora. It has been the venue for all kinds of entertainments, especially its very popular Broadway shows series, & other kinds of programs. It has hosted plays, musicals, concerts, comedy shows, speakers, dance programs, vintage movies & more. Whatever the event, there is always a double benefit—enjoyment of the event itself & taking in the lush beauty of the auditorium with its beautiful Art Deco ornamentation. This is truly one of the most beautiful theatres in the country.

We saw Les Miserables downtown Chicago live a few years ago and have seen the Broadway performance on tv. This is a good performance for a suburban theater. Definitely one of the best things in Aurora.

We are regulars - buy 2 tickets, get 2 free, attending their Broadway series. I watched movies in this theater as a kid and it looks the same inside - beautiful with new comfortable seats with legroom. Just saw The Producers. It was fabulous, probably the funniest musical I've ever seen. The principle characters were perfect in their roles. This one is not for the kids as it doesn't shy away from any topic. Besides Broadway, the Paramount brings other entertainers in for performances. Check this place out if you are in the Chicago Burbs and want to avoid Chicago prices and traffic.

Lived in Aurora for over 15 yrs now. The Paramount has broadened and improved it's entertainment bookings immensly. The Off Broadway shows are fanatastic. For several years I was a member, but due to work had to drop out. I still make a point of booking tickets for at least one to two of the four plays scheduled annually. The performances are the same or better than what yuo can expect from Chicago's Off Broadway, New Yorks Broadway or Londons West End performances. (Having attended several in all locations, it's true and the prices are less than 1/3 the cost. This is an amazing place in the historic part of Aurora's downtown w/ hopes that is will help to revitalize the downtown area, some of which appears to be happening w/ varoius resturants, bars and housing coming into play.

I love going to this theatre. It's beautiful, I been going here for about 10 years. I still feel excited not because of the events but because the beauty of this theater is amazing. The employee are kind and friendly. I recommend coming here.

The Paramount Theater dates back to 1931 and was more recently restored to its original elegance in 1976.The ceiling, the murals on the walls are stunning and worth the trip just to admire. The lobby, a modern, recent addition reflecting the Art Deco architecture, blends nicely and welcomes guests like a big hug.
The present production, Million Dollar Quartet, is a dazzling, high energy experience, enhanced by the expansive venue. The Chicago production at The Apollo theater was such a memorable evening, we didn't hesitate to take our out of town guests to the Paramount to enjoy the music and unique story of this show. Little did we expect that the evening would dazzle our eyes, ears and hearts. The theater's environment and space allowed the producer and cast to create a block buster show that kept the audience engaged in every minute. The story line was the same, but the music, much of the information (especially recognizing Perkins' contribution) and the choice of songs made it feel like a first time experience. Bravo...better than Chicago version.!
Kudos to the staff who were exceptionally helpful on the phone and at the Box Office. We look forward to future shows....reasonable prices, reasonable and convenient parking, elegant theater and quality surpassing the city production.
HINT: Call the Box Office to determine ticket availability in order to avoid the ridiculous $25 on-line fee. We were informed that good seats were available and purchased them an hour before performance.

Hate the seats. Plays are always good. Have to get aisle seats. Very helpful with walkers. No place to put drinks.

My family and I have season tickets and really enjoy coming here to see their performances. We were thoroughly impressed with Oklahoma, Christmas Story, and Hairspray, and can't wait for the next one!

All the varied productions I've seen have been very well done. The acting, lighting, staging are so professional. Having a real, live orchestra adds so much to shows.

If you have the opportunity to visit the Paramount Theater in Aurora, IL, I say "GO". I grew up at this theatre when we sold popcorn and drinks in the lobby and it was a movie theatre at the time.
It was refurbished to its "Glory Days" in the theatre business. The shows are high in quality. Seating is wonderful. I don't think there is a bad seat.
Parking is great. There are parking garages close, one is directly across the street. Enjoy!

The best performance ever. Well done to the actors, set designers, costumes and orchestra. Wow. Great voices and acting.

Purchased tickets for my mom's birthday. I loved it because it the tickets were reasonably priced, it was very easy to get there, and parking was a breeze. The venue itself was very lovely and my mom loved the show!

I love going to places like the Paramount to see shows. My wife and I visited the Paramount to see Home Free perform- awesome performance on their part. But we both couldn't believe how friendly everyone was at the theater. They all made you feel welcomed as you entered the theater and went to your seats. I don't know how old the theater is but it was very clean, seemed updated, and well kept. Our seats were in Aisle 3 of the balcony and it wasn't really a bad seat. I would take binoculars next time just to have a closer look at the performers. The sound was great and there was plenty of room in the seats.
I am definitely going to keep an eye on the shows they bring to the Paramount because I think it will be worth the drive again to see the show!
Keep up the good work!

This is a beautiful historic building. I love the variety programs they offer. Shows are of amazing quality. Highly recommended.

A friend gave us tickets to see Jesus Christ Superstar last Friday.
The venue is awesome. The cast and performance were broadway worthy.
Cost is very affordable for individual shows or for season membership.
Also convenient local restaurants for before or after show.

This is a theatre that rivals downtown Chicago, New York and even Las Vegas. The variety and quality of the shows that are produced are incredible. Check out a season membership for saving some cash and guaranteeing you get your seats saved!

I do not give top ratings often and when I do it is because the entire experience is about as good as it gets. That describes the experience my wife and I had at the Paramount this past week when we saw the "Happy Together" tour group. The group was comprised of members of six rock groups from the 1960s. My wife and I are baby boomers and remember all of them from the radio and from their appearances on the Ed Sullivan show. It was amazing and the performers, though obviously getting up in years, could still sing. While each group was performing, pictures of the group from the 1960s were projected on a large screen behind them. What a blast from the past!
The Paramount is an old classic theater, quite ornate inside, but with fully modernized facilities. The seats were comfortable; the sound was true and well projected; parking was relatively easy. I was not expecting anywhere near this good of an experience...frankly I was stunned.
There is public parking available nearby but we opted for the valet parking which made it very convenient. We arrived just when the doors opened an hour before showtime. The traffic can get a bit congested around the theater, but nowhere near as congested as say in downtown New York or Chicago.
You can get cocktails in the theater lobby and take them inside...but no food allowed inside. There is the usual rush for the restrooms at intermission, but the facilities were plentiful enough to make the lines move steadily.
Overall, just a great experience.

What a great theatre. Renovated and easy to park nearby. It's near the Casino. Performance was outstanding by any measure. My teenagers enjoyed the experience.

I've been to the Paramount Theater twice now, and I have to say that I was very impressed. The theater is beautiful! And since we live in Aurora, it's so much more convenient to see a play here than travel downtown Chicago. I wasn't sure if the quality of the performance would be close the plays I've seen in the city, but they have been amazing! Would recommend and definitely go back!

We have been thrilled with our Broadway series package tickets for the last several years. The shows are top notch, just as good as the theater you see downtown Chicago with less traffic, lower ticket prices, and inexpensive parking nearby (free to $10). With the Broadway series package of 4 shows, our tickets average about $30 each (I think a little less actually). I actually saw Les Miserables at The Paramount and then again on Broadway in New York City the very next month, and I thought the Paramount was just as phenomenal!

We took in an amazing production of Sweeney Todd. The theater provided a Chicago-level environment for suburb level prices. I would definitely recommend taking in a show here, great beer selection too.

This place is awesome! always has high quality production, and the building is so cool. Very historical, and well restored building. Wish parking was just a bit easier, but that's not really on them.

We always purchase the Broadway series tickets. It's a 4 show series that brings Broadway shows to Aurora. The cast and crew always deliver a first-class show. The venue has that classic historical feel with high tech lighting and sound.

We were series subscribers last year and continued it this year. We just saw Oklahoma. The Paramount Theatre is an interesting theater and the quality of the shows are on par (even greater) with the shows I have seen in Chicago and New York. Who thought you could find quality theater in Aurora!

The Broadway Series at the Paramount is a slam dunk!
The price for four shows is ridiculously inexpensive!
The productions are top notch amazing!
You can't get better than the Paramount for quality and talent!

We have been pleased with every show we have attended. Seats have all been good. Love the atmosphere. Can't go wrong with the Paramount Theatre.

I have seen several plays and some comedians here. Always had a great time and was never disappointed with any of the shows.. The ticket prices are quite reasonable... a lot cheaper than going to Chicago. The theater is so big and very nostalgic. A convenient parking garage across the street.

Do not miss this show. A Christmas Story is my new favorite musical! The cast was very talented and did a wonderful job. I attended with my girlfriends and now I would like to go back with grandkids!

We've subscribed to the Broadway Series for several years now, and it seems the shows just keep getting better and better. Also, you can't beat 4 shows for the price of 2!
Don't be deceived by the term "Broadway Series." These shows are locally produced, directed, cast, and staged by an amazing team. The shows surpass the quality found in the pricier, more-difficult-to-get-to Downtown theater scene.
Besides this series, the Paramount books a number of national, big-name entertainers for performances. If you're in the western suburbs, you're there, but if you live in the city, take the Metra out. The theater is only a few blocks away from the Aurora station.

The restoration of the Paramount takes you back in time. It's a beautiful location. Always top notch plays and shows.

If you go to any musical this is the one to see, The on stage actors and actresses, the band, the sets, the lighting, everything was excellent. Took our Grandkids for a matinee show and the loved. Best children's show since Mary Poppins. You do not want to miss it.

Amazing place to see anything even if just to view the dazzling old theater that has been nicely renovated.
We saw the theatrical version of "A Christmas Story" and even my kid (who thought he didn't want to go) was highly entertained.
Although it may sound trite to say there wasn't a bad seat in the house, on the main floor, even the sides were good. Sound was good.
Great experience. Go if you can.

Fantastic venue for big time Broadway Productions. All of the sight lines were excellent and the acoustics were outstanding. Parking is plentiful. If you have one of the Hollywood Casino Players cards parking is free at the casino lots. Otherwise it is $10.00 for self park, $11.00 for regular valet and $20.00 for premium valet. Seats were a bit cramped, but leg room was good.
As far as the play we saw Les Miserables. We have seen it numerous times in New York, London and the Chicago area. This was a fantastic production. It was beautifully stage and the revolving stage was a huge plus. The cast was outstanding. To us Javert and Fantine stood out. They were definitely Broadway caliber. Valjean was good, but some of the high notes were a slight issue. If you are a Les Miz fan, don't miss this production.

We saw the musical "ELF" this past weekend and had a very good experience at the Paramount. The production was very well done, and that is true for each of the shows that we have seen at the Paramount. The theater itself is very pretty and even the back row seats have good sight lines to the stage. Parking is close by and inexpensive (we parked in a covered garage for $2). It is easy to get to as well. The dining in the area is pretty limited, which is the only drawback to trying to make it a dinner and theater event.

Everyone is so helpful. I appreciate the wonderful volunteers. The efficient timing allows for plenty of time to have a drink and find your seat.

The play, Once, was excellent. The actors were very good and very professional. The theater is very elegant.

Good shows, welcoming environment . A place to visit when in the area. Enjoyable shows, good location.

Nice place, great environment, and decorative features are pretty cool. Location is fantastic. The seating is good but if you have a tall person sitting in front of you, you could get annoyed.

I must first tell you that I love, love, LOVE this musical!! It is my all time favorite stage production..EVER!!! This interpretation at the Paramount was one of the BEST!! When the curtain raised, I was blown away. The scenery was spectacular! I can't explain the set, but all they had to do was revolve it into different configurations to accommodate the appropriate scene. The singing was top knotch and the orchestra was spot-on! I was extremely impressed with this production. Add the beauty of the historic Paramount Theater to the mix and you have a win/win situation. If you're looking for something to do, go to see Les Miserables while it is there.

We have been the Paramount's Broadway Series Ticket Holders for many years. This is such a great deal: always with the same reserved seats from year to year (unless you want to try to exchange for better seats) and the availability to trade in your tickets for a different date if you're not able to commit to your original date. The theater is beautiful. A live pit orchestra accompanies the outstanding vocalists. The musicals are top notch with sets that are creative and better than some I've seen in Chicago theaters. With the purchase of the Broadway Series you also get a discount on other one night shows. If you live in the western suburbs, this is a great opportunity to see Broadway quality shows!!

Very talented casts as well as stage scenery that is superb! Show productions are varied and add up to seeing multiple renditions of both the old and the new.

Great cast, fantastic sound, could hear every word. Wish more theatre had as big of a live pit orchestra as the Paramount.

The Paramount is the best entertainment decision we have ever made. Our Broadway subscription is outstanding in many ways. First and foremost the productions are top notch and compare and often surpass Chicago productions. If you are skeptical just check out the reviews. Add to this a gorgeous facility, friendly and very helpful staff, extremely easy parking, and prices that are unbelievably affordable. The performances other than the Broadway series we have seen are also of the highest quality.

We have been subscription members for several years now and all the shows we have seen have been downtown Chicago / Broadway caliber productions. If you are a theater goer, this is well worth the investment.

A fun thing to do on NewYear's Eve. The theatre is beautiful and enough ladies bathrooms! It easy to park.

We always enjoy the variety and quality of the entertainment at the Paramount. Top Broadway shows to comedy like Tim Allen, Steven Wright, Billy Gardell, Larry the Cable Guy, Frank Caliendo and others.

Buy season tickets and save big! You get 4 shows for the price of 2. The performances and staging seems to improve with each season. And, it is so affordable and parking is easy.

New to the area, we were thrilled and astonished when we arrived at the absolutely gorgeous Paramount Theater. An historic venue that has been renovated to original decor and opulent standards, this theater is a diamond in the rough. We would never have expected to find such a gem in this Chicago suburb where re-vitalization of the downtown is in progress. While the theater itself is magnificent, the service offered (including valet parking, reasonable close-by parking options, and even some free parking to subscribers) as well as the customer service for tickets are also first-class. Beyond that is the incredible array of concerts, Broadway-level shows, variety shows, young person events, and classic $1 Movie Mondays! The theater is flanked by very good restaurants and also a lovely Riverwalk! The price-point of the shows are a fraction of the downtown Chicago prices and the level of the performances are excellent. Don't miss this chance for a class-evening!

This is a great venue to see performances of any kind(. All seats have great sight lines. the sound is also good. they have been upgrading the seating over the last few years . Although my seat was comfortable and fine , I guess it will just get better.
The only issue is the lack of bathrooms ( especially for Women). As you know during plays, there are big crunch times to go to the rest room and the lines were long and slow.
Otherwise the venue is historic and great to look at .

You can find so very many things happening here. We love the musical series and add a number of additional shows every season. It is a real jewel in the downtown.

This venue is absolutely stunning and the new seats put in this year are great! My husband and I have subscribed to the Paramount's Broadway Series since it first started -- that's either 6 or 7 years ago. That means we've seen 24+ productions and we have been wowed every time. We've attended other shows here too. Nothing against Chicago -- but quality is every bit as good at a fraction of the price. Parking is easy, and often times free depending on day or time.

Have been here for a multitude of shows, from the Russian Ballet to the musicals and concerts. The ambiance is fantastic, as well as the kind and helpful staff that is there for you.

The Paramount theatre in Aurora has been great every time we’ve visited! It’s plays are extraordinarily good and fun for people of ages 6 and up! It was so great the 5th grade class in our school district went there for a field trip! A great adventure for yourself, or family!

I could just sit in this theater and enjoy the decorations. Old vintage type details, with modern charm. They have added cafe out front.

Saw a Christmas Story here and the production was wonderful. The theater is old school cool. I'd love to see more venues here.

One of the top ten theatres in the Chicago land area, providing world-class entertainment. The Broadway musical series features some of the best shows at reasonable prices.

The three plays in this series have most enjoyable and the performance excellent!! Well worth the cost.

We have been to New York City several times and see three plays on Broadway each time we go. The shows we see at the Paramount are every bit as good as what we see in New York. We are so lucky to have the Paramount in our back yard. We've been subscribers to the Broadway Series at the Paramount since its inception. It's a bargain when you subscribe: you pay for two shows and get two free!

A very nice theater inside and out. And with great show like Mamma Mia, we sure had a great time with music by Abba. If the acoustic could be improved, the music would have sounded better. You can bike to Aurora via the Fox River trail. Besides checking out Paramont theater, there's the Aurora Premium Outlet and the Blackberry Farm for kids.

Attended a concert by the Fox Valley Orchestra and found the acoustics to be very good, seats (thought on the older side) were comfortable, restroom was clean and beverage area large enough for this size venue.

A very nice theater that preserves the feelings of an old one but is still modern. A very nice place to visit if you ever take a trip to Aurora and is well worth the money.

I am a season ticket holder and always enjoy the shows. Plenty parking space around the theatre. The show price is very reasonable and close to the Casino. You can goto Casino first to spend some time in the afternoon. Then pick a nice restaurant nearby and enjoy the show.

Amazing venue for a concert. A great vintage flair with all the modern amenities. If you have a chance to catch a performance here, don't pass it up.

Don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Not a large venue, about 2000. Good sound. I have to say the seats have seen better days, however replacement is in the future.

Since the Broadway Series commenced Paramount keeps building an incredible reputation in Chicago. That series has led it to add more and more not only to the Paramount Stage but to the Rivers Edge outdoor venue and the smaller Copley Theatre. They are now adding studios, instructional classrooms and apartments for visiting performers. Expansion doesn't happen without doing it right in the first place. The staging, acting, and music for the whole series has been brilliant. Plays I never cared for historically take a new path here. Enjoy.

I have enjoyed the Broadway Series since the beginning. They are expertly done. The reviews have been spot on, they are so professionally done they could be performed on Broadway. Kudos!

The Paramount is a beautiful old theater in Aurora. The staff who work there are knowledgeable and friendly and they handle big crowds well!

I have been a season ticket holder for many seasons and will continue. So easy to get there and never had a parking problem. Valet is available.

The Paramount Theater is a beautiful old venue, so versatile, with a wide variety of Broadway in the 'Burbs productions. The decor is vintage art deco, filled with golds and reds throughout the theater.

Wonderful old theatre in Downtown Aurora. Great quality productions... as good as a big city theatre at much lower prices and easy parking. Season ticket prices are a great deal.

We have had tickets for the Broadway Series since it's inception and have been very impressed with the downtown quality of the performances. Annie is still my favorite. Jim Corti loves to do fresh takes so you never feel like you are just seeing a rerun of an old standard.

The shows are great and it is nice to look at the beautiful building. The ceiling and walls are so interesting!

If you have a chance, see “Once” at the Paramount theater. It is much better than the movie, and really brings the Dublin setting to you (literally in that you can actually buy drinks on set during intermission). The acting, music and staging consistently win Jeff awards, which is the top Chicago theater award. These shows are Broadway quality at a fraction of the cost. Warning, there is strong language so I would not recommend bringing little ears. Otherwise, you’ll have a great time!

We have been subscribers since the first offering 4 years ago and have very satisfied with the price, level of talent and play presentation. A bit apprehensive before they our first experience we signed up because of the pricing structure. We have not missed a in four years and the pricing is still the same for the package. All of the plays have been staged very well and the casting has been exceptional. It's been a great investment and the show selection, even the ones I thought would not be of interesting, were staged well and the level of acting was superb. We live in Aurora and travel less to Chicago and enjoy great shows for much less money.

close to home and ample parking at Hollywood casino. waled to venue but very safe and close. Police presence around area.

The theater is one of the best parts of seeing any performance in this location. There is plenty of parking in the area, and with the resurgence of fantastic restaurants in the vicinity, it is the centerpiece of a memorable and unique night out.

Was there for a for work as a vendor at a dance competition and totally enjoyed myself. In house security was awesome. The staff made sure that i had everything that i needed. No Internet from what i remember. Perfect for a medium to large event. Entire venue displayed character. Really had a great time.

What fun! Although Paramount offers individual entertainers (Willie Nelson, Donnie and Marie, etc.). Paramount's 4-show special for Broadway Plays is just wonderful. It will cost around $200 for 4 shows, two people. The cast is so professional. Costumes fit the play and the orchestra makes you feel like you are in New York City on Broadway but at far less the cost. I've been to both and really appreciate the fact that I don't need to pack a bag, board a plane and rent a hotel room just to see a Broadway play. This is a great venue complete with drinks, food and nice people. If you want to sit on the aisle be sure to book early for better seating choices. Seats seem a bit narrow but not enough not to go there really. Have fun guys!!

The Paramount Theatre has been beautifully restored and is bringing Broadway to the second largest city in Illinois. The paramount also shows older movies for only a dollar on Monday evenings. I went with my husband, but we saw families, solo people teens and groups. This attraction is close to the train so you can take Metra from Chicago or come by Amtrak and stay at the hotel next to the train station before walking to the theater.

Most of the productions at the Paramount seem like they are Broadway shows stopping in a small town. They always cast excellent professional actors who do an amazing job!

This is a beautiful old theater that reminds you of the glamour that the theater was once known for. We thoroughly enjoyed the concert we attended. The sound system and lighting were excellent. The seats were comfortable. The valet parking was well worth it. Enjoy the beauty of the theater and not just the event you're attending. Such a historical gem!

We love the Paramount, have been going to different and shows for years. It’s awesome having great concerts, plays and musicals so close to home without the drama and commute of a trip to Chicago! We recently went to a gospel concert that was fabulous!

All the present and the acknowledged awarded past productions with live orchestra are fantastic. Well worth the experience at any price. The subscription series is the best.\

The theater is beautiful and full of history. The bartenders are nice and quick but the lines at times got a little long. The seats in the theater are tiny and there is no such thing as personal space. But to be in a piece of history watching a great play was worth it.

Have attended numerous performances throughout the past 20 years. Great variety of entertainment and the Broadway shows of recent years have bee spectacular. No need to go to Chicago when we have this gem of a theater in our own back yard.

any Place you sit is just great. Easy to get thing plenty of local parking. Very much enjoy going there

What a fantastic local venue. I was very impressed with this theatre, it's spacious lobbies and gracious service. This theatre seems roomier than those in Chicago. It is also beautifully appointed and rivals any theatre I've seen. Parking is easy and inexpensive in a garage one block away. There are restaurants and, of course, the casino nearby. We went with another couple to see the in house production of Hairspray. What a wonderful show with loads of talent. It was upbeat, moved quickly, and was funny and loads of fun. The wonderful cast was richly talented. A new favorite place for us!!

What a wonderful place to go to watch a show locally. I love musicals and love coming here to watch their Broadway series. Great location by many restaurants and even a casino to make a night of it. They also have different shows available from comedians to band. Love going there.

This is a really nice theatre to see shows at- easy to get to and easy to park. We bought the Broadway subscription, which is buy 2 shows get 2 free!

This is a fantastic venue in the western suburbs for theater. It is reasonably priced no matter what the seats. The quality of the 8 shows we have watched was top notch. Also consider some of the eateries and 'drinkeries' within walking distance before or after the show. My only negative is that in an older theater like this one the seats can become a bit uncomfortable by the second act.

Have not been here for years Cannot really say to much about it now! Maybe some day wife and I will return we don't go to movies or theaters that much were retired got to keep our Money.

This is second year we have purchased the 4-show Broadway series at the Paramount Theater, and the musicals are even better this year than they were last year. Christmas Story was very well-done; the set production was exceptional. We just saw Hairspray last night, and it was excellent. The performers couldn't have been better if they were taken right from Broadway, the costumes were beautifully done, and the orchestra, as always, was top notch. Can't wait for West Side Story in a few weeks!

The Paramount Theater in Aurora, Il is a theater my husband and I frequently attend. The shows, weather musical, comedy or big name performers such as Donnie and Marie is the best theater around for the money. We highly recommend the Paramount Theater.

It is fantastic how things have turned for Aurora and the Paramount. The shows have been fabulous, service exceptional, and a heck of a value. Plus, its pretty cool to be home in 10 minutes and still have seen a tremendous Broadway performance.

What a fantastic threatre and what a great play we saw! The Wizard of Oz was amazing! The actors, costumes, and set were truly great! A real dog played Toto and looked just like them. What an extremely talented performance this was by everyone! What a lot of time and effort was put into this. The threatre is beautiful and comfortable adding to the great time we enjoyed with friends. I highly recommend attending plays here.

I have been to several performances here.It is a beautiful theater. We are so lucky to have such a gem so close to us

This gorgeous ornate theater has friendly valet parking (1 hour and 15 minutes before curtain) public parking down the block, and exquisite shows. The staff and ushers are helpful, professional, and friendly. The shows we've attended to date have had LIVE orchestras, Fantastic sets, and phenomenal acoustics. We've found there's not a bad seat to be found. Moreover, the shows are professionally produced and high quality. Ticket prices particularly compared to Chicago are extremely reasonable. We love going here even if it is a drive from the northwest suburbs.

We have been season ticket holders since started and are thrilled. Such a bargain compared with Chicago, for us includes expensive parking. Shows have been so well done, the music, sets, and acting. The December show is always a fabulous show to take kids. Of course we like some shows more than others due to our taste. If you live close it well worth getting season tickets.

Paramount Theater is beautiful inside. I would definitely go back to see another play or musical.
Elf the musical is very entertaining. Even if you know the movie the musical is better.

The Paramount is great example of an old theater restored to its past greatness. The Broadway Series has been a big success and is definitely worth a subscription, or just seeing a show if you are in the area. There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance of the theater, so you can park for dinner and walk to the show. If you are getting a drink, make sure you ask for a double (its only $2 more). The Broadway Series uses equity players from the Chicago area. The casts are first rate. The sets are built specifically for the Paramount stage and are amazing.

We love the Paramount Theatre. We do the Broadway show plus several other shows and it beats having to
go to Chicago, The theatre productions are as good or better than any we have seen in NYC, Chicago or even London. The director of the Paramount has done an excellent job.

The people that work at the Paramount Theatre are very helpful.Thank You Karen and getting us set up for this fall and winter.

A group of 15 saw Mama Mia today at the Paramount. It is a gorgeous venue with a wonderful history. Our group truly enjoyed the musical AND the theatre!! NOTE: Be sure to check out where the parking ramps are located because the theater is in the downtown area.

We have seen a few shows at the Paramount but overall the parking was tough, seating not comfortable and the staff not very friendly, especially when we were trying to just find our seats.

Not a bad seat in the house for musicals or concerts. I have seen so many great shows here, I can’t believe they aren’t consistently sold out. Everything is first rate, service, bar, reasonable drinks. I have seen plays at the Paramount when the production is better than what I have seen in Chicago or even on broadway for a fraction of the cost. The talent is not just local , great resumes from all over! A real treat!

The Paramount productions rival Broadway and Broadway in Chicago shows. The value is phenomenal, parking issues are NOT an issue (not are they expensive) there is always somewhere close by for dining before or after. The staff is top notch and the performances will leave you in amazement. Highly recommend any performance here and especially the member series!

You'd never know from how the Paramount looks from the outside just how beautiful it is inside. The place was packed but still comfortable. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The show was hilarious!

We saw a second city show at the Paramount. Very nice theater. An older usher was kind enough to to give us a bit of history on the building. Good drinks before, during after the show. No complaints!

We highly recommend you attend one of their new series of productions. We can't wait to see what they do next!!!!

The Paramount is a gorgeous, gilded jewel box theater. It's as visually captivating as the shows presented there. And the shows are top notch---quality entertainers, audience pleasing shows; it seems no expense is spared when it comes to set and costumes. All the staff, from ushers to box office to administration, are wonderfully polite, helpful, and friendly. Seats are comfortable, sight lines are good, sound system is precise, and even snack items and drinks are reasonably priced. The last show we saw there was MAMA MIA and the top ticket price was $55. Parking garages are close by and valet street parking is available.

Absolutely love coming here for plays and musicals.. have seen theee shows in one year and they get better and better with each visit... sound system is amazing! We liked it so much we bouithe four pack of thickets for the 2018/2019 season

We recently visited for a Momma Mia show. The venue was great and staff were super accommodating and polite! We are looking forward to coming back for more shows! If you are looking to dine nearby Ballydoyle Irish Pub around the corner has the best corned beef!!

Saw Legally Blonde here in November 2018 and it was TOP NOTCH! I have heard the music on the recording a 100 times and they did just as great a job! Also, their set design was remarkable. You would think you’re in Broadway w this talent. SO WORTH IT!

Whether part of the Broadway series, independent shows, big name acts (like Donnie and Marie), or a back stage tour, this venue is outstanding. Not a bad seat in the house. Volunteer staff is superb, employed staff is excellent. The artistic director of the Broadway series is one of the most engaging individuals I have ever met. 👍👍👍👍

Wonderful theatre for seeing different types of shows from music to plays. Very well restored to its former glory.

Am a member of the Broadway series. Have been from the beginning. All have been well worth the price of the tickets. Can't wait for the new one to begin. No matter were you set you can see the stage.

We have been here a few times but came back for the Peter Cetera show. Am I glad we did!
From walking in, to having drinks before the show, everything was with ease. The staff moved the lines through and we were inside in no time. Staff was around to help and assist. The line at the bar moved quick. We had drinks and sat down quickly. The seating, lighting, sound, and comfort was great. What you would expect in a small venue. Really a great time!

Paramount Theater in Aurora is a wonderful venue to see a play. It's not far from Chicago, it's easy to get to, and there's nearby parking for only $3. There are also lots of restaurants in the area. The theater is historic, but remodeled and beautifully ornate. The plays are of high quality and the sets are magnificent. The actors and actresses are well rehearsed and professional. I have attended plays there several times per year, for the past several years. You can purchase season tickets for the 4 Broadway series plays each year, which end up costing you about half the price. I highly recommend this theater if you want to get away from the city, the traffic, and the ridiculously high costs for parking.

Beautiful venue, reasonably priced. One great show after another. Ushers very helpful and friendly. Will go again.

I saw a play here a while back and the theatre itself is beautifully decorated with fancy patterns you would only see in theatres in the 1900s. Defiantly recommend going here, ;) is clean and seats are comfortable. Sound projects well into the back so nothing to complain about overall. Great place, highly recommend going.

We have seasons tickets which we see 4 shows a year. We have never been disappointed. Shows are outstanding. Theatre is very ornate and beautiful. Parking is free and just a short walk to the door. I would recommend attending a show here you will have a great time.

We buy the package every year (for 4 shows). Just a great price and a fun night out. Definitely recommend!

Grateful for this theater that is local but full of professional talent. Their drink specials at every show cause us to come an hour early to indulge. :-)

This is not a review of the event rather a review of the facility. It has been artfully restored and is a gem of Aurora. I'm really pleased this facility was saved.

First time we attended an event here. Nice to have bar service on both floors. Lines not too long. Great selection of top shelf liquor too. We had seats third row balcony. For a two hour show I'll know yo make sure to get first row. The seats are narrow and tight; no front leg room. I thought I would have to leave if it weren't for spouse allowing my legs to stretch across him. Sounds silly but When you're older with knees weakening it's extremely difficult to leave them bent that long. Worse than an airline really. So if no first row available we won't attend. The performance was phenomenal.

Just saw Beauty and the Beast there, and it was the best play I've ever seen. It was fantastic, and the entire music and costumes were done so beautifully. I cant even express how amazing the experience was, and it is a must do. This is the second play I've seen here, and they are just so good!

We've seen several Broadway type shows at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, and it is a great place to go locally, instead of having to trek into Chicago with the horrible traffic, high ticket prices, high parking prices, etc. Overall, the productions we have seen at the Paramount have been done at a high level, and we were very satisfied for the value for the dollars spent. Parking is a little shaky, but if you get there early suitable options can be found for little or no fee. We highly recommend this venue. It is even worth driving some distance away to see a show here.

Great place for shows of all types. seen plays and concerts here...all great! Would like more concerts here though!

This production is extremely entertaining. The cast is superb. The choreography is fantastic. Those familiar with the story, the UPS character was a crowd pleaser. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. The show is on thru October 23rd.
PS: The new seats are very comfortable.

What a beautiful theatre that has been restored over a period of years. Every Play/Musical has been excellent and as good as going to New York. (In fact better as the theatre is larger than those found in NYC

I've been attending this theatre for nearly six decades. It is truly one of Aurora's gems. Whether it's a movie, theatrical production, or concert, you won't be disappointed. I've sat in every corner of this magnificently restored theater and have yet to be disappointed. With a great staff, they also have meeting rooms, Banquet or wedding facilities.

It was so nice to see Miracle on 34th Street on the big screen. The seats were uncomfortable and the over salted popcorn was room temperature. But the ambience made up for it. I will go there again to see a classic film. Unfortunately, everything around the theater was closed. We went to dinner in Oswego.

Love this theater. The in house theater productions are amazing and rival anything going on in Chicago. Lots of traveling entertainment as well. Beautiful venue.

The Paramount Theatre is located in downtown Aurora, Illinois. There are some great plays there. They also have $1 movie nights. It is something worth seeing in Aurora.

They offer older movies for cheap. Family likes going to see them. Titanic, gremlins, older classics. Nice theater with history.

I always love this place. They have $1 classic movies on Mondays, which is a great event for the kids. I recently saw Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz and Legally Blonde and all were great productions, with amazing acting and set design. The theatre is beautiful, too. We always have a great time, and if I get married, I'd SO LOVE to walk down the aisle in this theatre.

Didn't know if our experience was going to be enjoyable. While the subject matter for grandparents was questionable, we found "ELF" was very entertaining. All aspects was very professional - singing, choreographery, scenic design, costume design, and orchestra. The lead actors including the 14 yr old Oliver Boomer were outstanding.
Samantha Pauly's voice was great.

I have been to broadway shows both in New York City and Chicago, the productions by the Paramount are phenomenal and always well done. I would recommend buying seasons passes so not to miss a show. The theater itself it breath taking and well managed. Worth the trip!

This was my first trip to the Paramount Theater. It is a beautiful old building. The inside is beUtiful too. Why it only got a 3 is because I thought the seating was not all that great. We were in LL seats and I constantly was moving my head around the lady in front of me. She wasn’t extra tall but there isn’t much of a grade so that you are high enough. And the seats are not off set. My daughter also had a difficult time seeing the stage. Also (even though they mentioned it) the seats really need to be replaced. They are old, wore out and very small. I hope when they put the new seats in, they will be off set so there are cleaner lines to see the production. We saw Elf. Found street parking easily on a Sunday afternoon. It was very easy in and out. The production itself was great. Next time I think I’d opt for tickets closer to the stage.

With the four show series each one is quite affordable. The talent and set work that go into the productions is top notch. The theater is a 1920’s gem. Customer s

It's just the best besides trying to get to Chicago with all the traffic and parking problems. The orchestra is outstanding. The lineup for the season is usually very
good!!! You can't beat it. We do a matinee, then go out to eat. WONDERFUL!

Paramount is in downtown Aurora, Illinois with free parking. Always has top name people/groups for entertainment throughout the year. You won't be disappointed.

Each one is as good or better than the last! We like to eat in a downtown Aurora restaurant and then see the matinee.

Great Plays!
Easy to get to, nearby parking!
Friendly staff!
Music etc just great!
My wife and I could not ask for a better place for entertainment!

This is one heck of a good old historical theatre! They are doing in my opinion as good if not in some cases better than broadway productions here!! I would highly recommend this theatre to anyone for business get together or a friends night out.

What a beautiful building. I recently saw the Million Dollar Quartet at the Paramount and this was my first visit to this theater. The visibility, pitch and comfort of the seats, and the acoustics are all first rate. The Art-Deco and Venetian interiors are magnificent.

We were entertained recently at the performance of Cabaret and recommend seeing this production! As usual, we are never disappointed with any of the Paramount productions and again, this is a superb performance!
It is arranged for Adults and is not age appropriate for young children! Thank you Paramount for this entertaining show of Cabaret!
One of the only disappointments at the theatre is the line for the women's rest room during the 15 minute intermission. Since a female dominated audience it is hard to get in the restroom, grab a refreshment at the bar, and back in your seat before the second half begins....
Hurrah the new theatre seats are arriving this coming summer 2018! They have served us all well over the 80 plus years!

Beautiful restoration. The interior is absolutely beautiful. And the acoustics are also good. Don't miss it!

Hadn't been to the Paramount in years! It's better than I remember. Great space, sound, seats. Friendly ushers, bar staff could be friendlier. Saw Donny & Marie, such a good time. Easy parking in the nearby garage.

We wanted a happy beginning to Christmas season and ELF! filled the bill perfectly. A wonderful delightful play for the whole family to enjoy. Great drinks and snacks available in lobby and beautiful tree for pictures afterward!

We saw Terry Fator and it was great. They have more good talent coming soon. The seats in the theater were very comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

I took my grand daughter to see Beauty and The Beast. The production was first class. The theatre is beautiful and the staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating.

We saw a show here and we were pleased. It is an older theater and we were told they were updated the seats which is really needed. We sat on the right on the orchestra level. The view was very good. We will probably return when something we want to see comes there.

Beauty and The Beast: Outstanding scenery, acting, music and choreography. Friendly atmosphere - ready to go again.

We went here for a surprise sisters weekend and what a surprise it was. The interior of the theater is beautiful. It appears to have been pain-stakingly refurbished. We were in awe of its style and mentioned that it looked like our Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. If you get a chance to see a production here, go. Its worth it.

We attended a Nat King Cole tribute concert and were thoroughly impressed... Seating was great (BTW they are replacing the seats in the theatre this Spring) and concession prices were beyond reasonable. $6 for wine or spirits and $3 for beer. Depending what you see here the ticketing for the big acts can get a little pricey but to have big name acts at a beautiful venue in your hometown is a definite plus.

Been to paramount on many occasions and enjoy this beautiful place!Their programs
are very good and bring great performances for all tastes. The audio is good. The
interior is very beautiful!

See shows at cheaper prices than downtown Chicago. We saw Shen Yun and it was great! Street parking nearby. Public parking garage nearby.

I have been very lucky to see Broadway shows all over the country and our beautiful Paramount Theatre in Aurora is among the best. Not a bad seat in the house, the sound is fantastic, the shows and performers have been top notch. Broadway worthy performances! I recommend getting out and seeing a show at the Paramount you won't regret it.

Have been to this theater for several performances, and they really have worked hard at making it a first-rate experience for everyone. It's like going into Chicago for a performance only not having to travel as far. Both the performances themselves and the theater are great. The location of the ladies' room on the first floor closest to the entrance gets backed up sometimes.

We are season ticket holders.....this is the best entertainment around the Fox Valley area. The theater is gorgeous, the plays are so well done! Friends saw Le Mis at the paramount and three weeks later saw it on Broadway in NYC.....they were very disappointed in the Broadway production. I have never been disappointed at the paramount. Come and see a play and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did! It a great Christmas gift idea, Mothers Day, birthday day and day treat!

The productions there since the new Creative Director (Jim Conti) took over is nothing short of spectacular! Sets, talent, voices, dancers and actors. All are second to none. I have seen many shows on Broadway, off Broadway, and Chicago and these are as good as the best. The price for season tickets is crazy good. We buy two extras so we can take people with us every time. Our friends buy four season tickets as well!

Not only is the Paramount's Broadway Series amazing, but the theatre is breath taking in its restored beauty. This is a site everyone should visit given the opportunity.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE. .PRODUCTION AND STAGE Setting ..perfect. Devin..was awesome. First time to theatre. Just beautiful restoration.

I've been to the Paramount several times, and never had a bad experience. They bring in great entertainment at an affordable price. I've seen many big name acts as well as gone to see classic movies on their movie nights. If you have the opportunity to go, do it.

We have season tickets for Broadway in Chicago and see a LOT of shows. We decided to give Paramount a try a few years ago with season passes and have continued to renew. We have been consistently blown away by the quality of the productions. They honestly rival many of the shows we have seen in Chicago (or even on Broadway) with a considerably lower price tag. Mary Poppins, from last season, still ranks as the top show I've seen here. The current season has been good though. I think it's exciting to see theater easier to access in the suburbs and priced so that people can bring their families and not break the bank. I hope Paramount continues with their fantastic shows and I will keep coming back.

In December we went to see Christmas Story - The Musical. We enjoyed it very much. Well done. Great voices and good acting. I love these old theaters that have been restored. It's beautiful. Huge auditorium.

the theater is very pretty the stage is small but can host pretty good numbers of people. i went there to see the duke ellington blues band.

The Paramount Theater is a nice sized theater. It has been renovated and is beautiful. Ordering tickets is easy. There is a bar in the lobby. Seats are comfortable. There are a variety of shows to choose from. We have seen Stomp, a magic show, violinists, a Circ de sole type show, Christmas comedy and more. All shows were good.

I attended Blues on the Fox at the Paramount. For only $10 in advance I saw some great performers. You can bring your own bag chair and sit fairly close. There were multiple food options with tens, food trucks, and stands. Bar-b-q, Cajun, Mexican, and Italian/American choices all around.

Great artists from the 1960's sang all their greatest hits, and soon had the audience singing along with them

Excellent Broadway plays with excellent actors and wonderful orchestra! We annually buy the series of four plays which is a wonderful deal .

The paramount t is a gem! They get fantastic shows with prices for tickets and parking being very reasonable. It is a beautiful old theatre and a great venue.

Must See for anyone interested in live performance. Beautiful inside very comfortable seats. West Side Story really great. Full bar and food available and its reasonable. Bottle of water $2 not bad. The lines can get long for the bathrooms, plan ahead lol. Parking can be a little bit of a jaunt. Better on Sunday when a lot of other things are closed. Saw Christmas Story was fantastic. When show is over drive a few blocks over to find Two Brothers Roundhouse and Brewpub, this is the After Show place to go. Their own craft beer and great food!

I have attended musical performances all over the world and all half dozen of the Broadway Series shows that I have seen are first rate. A big plus is that parking, and just as importantly, leaving after a show is quite easy.

We are season ticket holders and have NEVER been disappointed in the professionalism, talent (on stage and in the pit) and presentation of their musicals.

This show was thrilling and so much better than the previous 2 I've seen in in downtown Chicago. The cast was a bit interactive and a joy to watch from beginning to the end.

The Paramount is a wonderful place to see a variety of entertainment at affordable prices. It's great place for date night, quality time with the family or girl's night out! If you haven't been to the Paramount, you should make plans to go soon!

I have seen several productions in Chicago and NY. The Paramount is just as good or better at what they do. The true bonus is the cost is a fraction of what the big cities charge. The facility is beautiful too!

The Plays are incredible! We are a yearly subscriber, so we have the same seat for every play. The bathroom lines are long. Best to go early and not go through intermission.

I started the Broadway Series the first year it was offered and have been a subscribing member since. You can't beat the location, the prices, the talent and the beauty of this fabulous theater. There is no "bad" seat in the house, no matter where you are seated. I have been attending this theater for over 50 years and it is a true icon. There is something for everyone from Monday Night at the Movies, to Broadway Shows, top entertainment and much more. There is a full bar service at some events and snacks to purchase. Best Value for your money!!!

If you haven't gone to see A Christmas Story yet, buy your tickets now! What a great show to attend and celebrate the holiday season. The sets are terrific, the singing is sensational and the dancing is divine. The Paramount is such a lovely venue and with great pricing, easy access parking, there 's absolutely no excuse to miss this show.

The Paramount has been doing an absolutely awesome job with their musical performances. The last one, Hair Spray, was very entertaining. I didn't think I was going to like it, but it was wonderful. They just keep getting better.

Come out of the pandemic and go to this theater. They replaced the seats before the pandemic and revived my sitting experience. It's not plush but a real improvement. We have season tickets in row four. We had to change nights for an earlier show and had seats in the back middle. The sound was actually better there. Even if I am lukewarm to a play the sets are always amazing. The whole place is 1930s elegant and has really great ticket prices. We've had only exceptional service when we needed to change nights. The productions always take a twist from the standard story line. Most of the shows are great with kids even when they create a more mature theme; Ground Hog Day sets were interesting, the play was a bit long (It's Ground Hog Day!) , some mature content but the teen pre-teen grandkids enjoyed it.

We went to see the Million Dollar Quartet. It was phenomenal! I wanted to get up and dance!
The theater is very quaint and easy to get to. We parked in a lot across the street for $4.

I am a seasonal member of the Theater and I have never been disappointed. The productions are Broadway quality at main street prices. The theater is becoming a very important core to the downtown Aurora corridor. If you have the opportunity to see a show you shouldn't be disappointed.

On Dec. 5th we went to this venue to see A Christmas Story. The actors seemed to really enjoy their work and it showed. They even had a flag pole where Ralphie gets his tongue stuck! They, of course, unstick it and the play proceed in a fun and enjoyable manner. This theatre offers very much in the way of good plays in a suburban setting for an extremely reasonable price. Yep it's nice!!

We saw The Wizard of Oz, and loved it. The theater is beautiful inside and has great acoustics. We were seated on the main floor about 3/4 of the way back and had a great view of everything going on. We hope to return to see other shows here.

My husband and I came here to see the "Happy Together" performance. It was great! Theatre is beautifully preserved. Great viewing throughout. Acoustics are great; seats are very comfortable. Great experience overall.

My wife and I have been members for several years. Each production is of the highest quality though a few shows were not to my taste. The only negative is the lack of free parking in the area. Looking forward to many more years.

My family and I had a great time on Monday Classic Movie Night. Admission was $1 per person and popcorn drinks and beer were available in the concessions area. I would highly recommend this place for a family night out. We plan on coming back again.

Just saw Hairspray at the Paramount. What a great show and cast. Lots of great energy. The Paramount always does a great job.

I've seen many different performances throughout the years and I can say that every performance that is put on at this theatre is always going to be a good play to go watch

I have really enjoyed all the plays I've seen at the Paramount for 1/4 of the price as other theatres. Big name plays like West Side Story, Tommy, Oklahoma, Mary Poppins and many more. They have been as good and even better than some plays I've seen Broadwat and downtown Chicago. Check out the seasons subscription. You'll love it. Great gift idea about $125 for 4 plays.

I recently went to the Paramount to see "The Little Mermaid". The quality of shows performed there are generally outstanding and this one was no different. The architecture is beautiful and the decor reminds me of the olden days of theater. While there doesn't seem to be a terrible seat in the house, the seating itself leaves a lot to be desired. In the attempt to serve more people, the seats are crammed together like sardines in a can. They are very narrow and uncomfortable (not fluffy friendly at all). We had to sit almost sideways through the entire production - it was very uncomfortable. The valet was $11 for general parking and $20 for first out. We didn't use them because we're season passholders, and we have a parking pass for a nearby lot (Bank). Not really close or convenient, but since parking spaces seem to be at a premium around there, it was nice to have. We arrived early and had a difficult time finding somewhere to go to kill time. No stores or coffee shops in the area and only one or two bar-type restaurants nearby. If you're hungry, you'll have to settle for snacks at the bar area inside the lobby. They offer large cookies and bakery items (no food allowed in theater). They had a themed (alcoholic) drink for the play, which seemed reasonably priced (it was either $4 or $6) and although I wanted one, I ordered a hot chocolate instead because it was so cold out. It was about 6-ounces for $2.00 (+ tip) and tasted like powdered water. I never visited the restrooms (due to the extremely long lines), so I won't comment on their cleanliness. In all, it's a relatively inexpensive way to see a high-quality performance.

We have thoroughly enjoyed being Broadway Series ticket holders for many years! The "buy 2 tickets, get 2 free" is an amazing bargain especially when you consider the high quality of the productions! Additionally, the ability to change dates at no charge is incredible. I have never seen another theater that offers this flexibility and the Paramount representatives always do it so effortlessly. I have had truly delightful customer service experiences over and over as the representatives do everything they can to accommodate our needs and make us happy! Without this feature, we probably not would not have signed up year after year as we are a busy family with ever-changing schedules and commitments. Another key point is that parking is much easier and cheaper than in Chicago and they also have valet service, though I'm not sure of the cost as we have not used it. We oftentimes enjoy a wine or cocktail before the show or during the intermission and our daughter and her friends always love the cookies! I highly recommend this venue for excellent productions and a fantastic staff!

Great place to do a close by play or show. Not as hectic as downtown Chicago and ticket prices are reasonable. Even the season pass on shows are a great deal. Had a wonderful time with the family at the holiday season show and its nice to get to do something different. Would recommend this definitely.

This is a historic building and it’s very beautiful inside. Great Broadway shows come every often and some music acts and comedy shows also. Seating is great and capacity low, so you can feel closer to the action.

The Broadway series is amazing. The only difference between the Paramount and a trip to New York is the cost.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful theater. Top talent is brought in by the Hollywood Casino which is across the street. Theater is not too large so you can't get a bad seat. One of my favorite theaters ever!

Very comfortable theater. Very accommodating to all ages and abilities. Local theater prices with downtown theater talent. The sets are ALWAYS amazing. High-quality pit orchestra. High-quality actors and singers. The price for a season here is less than you'd pay for one show downtown.

Went to Rock of Ages on 5/12/22 with another couple. All of us were masked. On Sunday we all developed symptoms and, subsequently, tested positive for Covid. Potentially, heavy theatrical smoke exacerbated Covid spread? Have been to two other plays earlier in the year at Paramount without problems. Called box office and they let us know they would pass on information to management.

We have been season ticket holders at this theater for many years. We have never seen a poor performance at this theater although there are certainly some plays we have enjoyed more than others. The acting, sets and ambiance of this theater is outstanding.
In addition this theater provides so many opportunities for actors and a wonderful workplace in our community. It is truly an Aurora landmark which benefits all those who live here.

My husband surprised me with tickets to see The Little Mermaid on NYE. We had to drive about 45 minutes to get to Aurora, but it was worth it because the tickets were much less expensive compared with what we would pay to see a Broadway show in downtown Chicago. The theatre has a very nice lobby with a bar that sells food, coffee, and drinks. The show was excellent and we had so much fun! I would definitely go back for another show.

Went this week to see Jesus Christ Super Star. Talent was all there but the sound system made it difficult to hear the voices clearly. Perhaps other seats would have been better.

This beautiful theater puts on a show like no other! The Broadway Series is on par with any production in New York or Chicago and less than half the price!

Great place to see the plays you really want to see. We saw a Christmas Story here and it was a wonderful time.

As a pre-Christmas gift, took my wife and daughter to see the Christmas Story musical. Outstanding production & theatre. Very personable & friendly staff and most seats have great views. And many good restaurants within walking distance. Overall ticket prices reasonable and free parking close by.

Was really enjoying “ Charlie and the chocolate factory” last night until the scene depicting the pill popping, alcoholic, white trash, mullet wearing, beer bellied , midwestern conservatives. And using the American flag as a negative prop was really out of line and in bad taste. Surprised they would want to insult at least half their audience.

This theatre is a great place to see any production. I went with my family and had no issues with parking or getting into seeing the play. The seats are large enough that you don't sit on top of the person next to you. Would definitely see other productions here

We are members & will continue to be members but our last experience for the Frozen play was not positive. We had a 6ft 6 man two rows up in front of us so we could not see center stage & a woman & child that talked to each other the entire time right in front of us & a youngster who should of been napping behind us kicking our seats. The theatre was packed so there was no where else to move, sadly it did not turn out enjoyable for us. It would be nice if we thought of others in public places.

This is an Awesome theatre! The production was very moving. More like the Broadway production than the 1972 movie, they’ve made some changes like setting the Kit Kat club in a basement that really make sense. The talented cast was spot on perfect. Sally is just fabulous. I love this theatre and have seen many plays. Don’t be a snob about Broadway or Chicago theatre treat yourself to the Paramount.

One of Illinois beautifully restored theatres. Entering the theatre is like traveling back in time to a golden era. It is located in a quieter, older section of Aurora.

We went to Wizard of Oz and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great production. The wicked witch of the West was marvelous! The Lobby is decorated for Christmas.

Want to see Broadway style plays at a fraction of the cost without sacrificing quality?
Then you must check out the Paramount Theater. Great productions, stage sets & singing. Free parking too!

I have been a subscriber to the Paramount Theatre for the past several years. The theatre is beautiful and up to the same standard as Broadway shows without the high prices. All of the shows have been fantastic; performers, sets, singing, dancing...all of them have been great. The new seats are very comfortable with drink holder too. I am looking forward to my next show.

This theater is a gem. Seating is in the process of being replaced, restoration is in keeping with the original. Great productions make this a "must do".!

We buy a subscription every year to all the shows and have never been sorry. The shows are wonderful, the orchestra is always top notch and recently we have taken advantage of the "Premium Experience" which is drinks and appetizers before the show and dessert at intermission. Valet parking is great on those cold winter evenings, otherwise there is plenty of parking and restaurants in the area.

My family has enjoyed many visits to this beautiful theater. Have had main floor & balcony seats and have been satisfied with both. Performances have been top notch. Nice to have local venue and not have to endure Chicago traffic!

I grew up in NY and the caliber of talent is amazing and for the price, you can't beat it. Broadway has nothing that the Paramount cant offer. I highly recommend the Broadway Series.

We have gone to the Paramount for movies, music concerts, and recently became members of the subscription musical series. Have really enjoyed seeing the great musicals, with the live orchestra in the pit below, such a lovely place to be entertained and get away!

We've been season ticket holders for the Broadway musical series for 5 years now. And every season, without fail, we walk away from the performances amazed with the incredible talent and the productions they have at Paramount!

The 2015-2016 Broadway Series was very enjoyable. Hairspray was the best performance I have ever experienced. Went back a second time.

Every year the performances get better than the year before. How is that possible? From the scenery, costumes, voices, dancing, orchestra, choice of musicals, ticket office staff, directors, theatre management, venue and etc. is truly the best! Thank you, Aurora.

Reasonable prices; great performers, close to home. We have gone for quite a few performances, the last one being Mamma Mia which was excellent.

The Broadway series that the Paramount started has provided the very best of musical theater. The reviewers from the city agree with me. The theater is beautifully restored to the art deco brilliance of the past. Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are available by friendly servers. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about the venue. Highly recommend the Paramount Theatre.

So went last night to see “once” and I got to say that it was amazing! People saying this performance was better the the Broadway or touring show.
And before the show opened a bar on stage to go by drinks from while the actors played music.
But the seats are old and needed to be replaced years ago. And just as said that I guess next year their doing just that.
From this performance I’m going to get season tickets.

I've been to a number of shows at this theatre. The staff is always extremely pleasant and helpful. The shows are top notch. The latest one that we watched today, was The Little Mermaid. The musics, lights, special effects and puppetry were superb.

I have taken my child to this theatre for several productions now, the last one being The Little Mermaid. The Paramount is as beautiful and impressive as a downtown Chicago theater. The productions, acting, music, sound and decor are outstanding!
This is quite the suburban gem!!

We subscribe to the Broadway Series, and have thoroughly enjoyed all the shows this season. Easy to get to and the interior is grand and beautiful.

This is a very nice theatre. Comfortable seats, large snack bar and great sound. We spent the night locally and reasonably.

It was every bit as good as any musical I've seen in any big city without the big city price tag. My kids loved it too! Great theater! Great Cast! Fabulous day out!

The Copley is a small, intimate theater. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. All good seats. The musical was 90 minutes of laughter. Great tunes with new lyrics. Very talented performers. A must see especially for all menopause age women and those they live with!

The Paramount Theatre Broadway Series, is by far, the best entertainment value in the Chicago Burbs. Outstanding performances and superb acting and music. They do need to upgrade the seats - very uncomfortable.

We ordered season tickets for the first time this year. We saw Leagally Blonde and enjoyed it immensely. Our seats were a reasonable price and had a great view of the stage. The concession stand also had reasonable prices. Can’t wait for the next show

We are in our second year of the Broadway subscription series. The shows have been top notch and your cannot beat the price. We are looking forward to renewing for next season.
The theater has been restored to original beauty and is quite comfortable. There is easy nearby free parking.

First time I went to Paramount was to see the Nut cracker and I was in awe...such a gem of a find, in Downtown Aurora. Beautiful architecture, very antique looking but stunning. A qhile back my daughter was in dance performances there. Enjoyed it every time, plays, live shows, etc. Would highly recommend.

We have seen many plays at the Paramount. It is wonderful. We have never had any issues with our seats. It is an older theater that has been beautifully maintained.

The Paramount started the revival of downtown Aurora and made it a destination of its own. The theater has been beautifully restored and, as of recently, has all new comfy seats. It is intimate enough that there isn't a bad seat, although my personal preference is for seats on the floor. The Jeff Awards have started noticing the Paramount, and its shows are now receiving many nominations. There are four Broadway-style shows per season and the prices are so reasonable (we have a subscription for the season and each ticket is $37.00. Prices are slightly higher for non-subscribers). Other shows and musicians perform throughout the year as well.
More and more restaurants are opening nearby to cater to the pre-theater and post-theater crowd, so you can make quite an enjoyable evening with dinner and a show.
An insider tip: you can avoid the long lines for the restrooms in the lobby by going upstairs to the restrooms. 😊

Great venue for a show of another type of event. I’ve been in a wedding here and recently attended in show by Purple Reign, while the show was only ok, it was a pleasure to be at the historic paramount. Very efficiently run restrooms too!

The Paramount is a gorgeous theatre. While it may be 85 years old, it glitters like new and has all the modern equipment it needs to put on a great show. We have seen a number of broadway shows there and each production was first-rate. Always a great night out.

I've seen several productions in the last few years at the Paramount. Parking is easy -- there's a large lot within walking distance -- and the theater offers valet. I don't recommend paying extra for the premium valet as the valet service post-event is quick. The venue itself is a beautifully restored art-deco theater with all the gorgeous details you expect - luxurious red velvet curtains, gold detailing, balconies. Just beautiful. I also think there's not a bad seat in the house. The relative compactness of the theater makes it a special treat when seeing celebrities that at Chicago venues you'd need really good seats to see well. Tickets are usually very reasonably priced and there is decent dining in the area.

Very historic and great place to see any live performances as well as movies for the kids. Great selection of artist every year

The theater is beautiful and the drinks were reasonable The concert was great. Went to see Scotty macreey, he was great.

My wife and I have been subscribers to the Broadway series since day one. Every performance has been first class and a remarkable experience. You can't get better performances in Chicago than you can at the Paramount and the cost of tickets and parking is way lower. We love the fact that most performers are from the Chicago area, as well. The orchestra adds an additional touch not found at most theatre venues. It's a beautiful theater and I remember going to movies there as a child. It is even more beautiful now all dressed up for these fine performances.
Only downside is there are not many quality restaurants nearby to dine in before or after the performances. We do enjoy Ballydoyle's for a sandwich. I think they are trying to get more restaurants to locate there, but it may take a while.
I still give the Paramount two thumbs up for the great performances and look forward to the future presentations that will be coming there!

Theater in downtown Aurora. Hosts individual shows and Broadway series. Easy in and out. A number of local restaurants available prior to show. No bad seats. Proximity to Chicago gets actors and productions of downtown quality with lower cost and home in 10-15 minutes

My sister and I went to see Terry Fator at the Paramount Theater. It was our first time at this theater and it is absolutely beautiful. I liked the comfortable, roomy seats and the fact that the floor slopes so you can easily see over the head of the person is front of you. They have no dedicated parking lot but they have arrangements with several parking lots within walking distance and your ticket comes with a parking pass that you can print out and put on the windshield of your car allowing you to park there until midnight which gives you plenty of time to enjoy the show and also have dinner somewhere close by. The ticket also comes with a little map that you can print out that shows the other parking lots in the vicinity. The theater is also walking distance to the Hollywood Casino so you can definitely make a whole day of your visit.

I'm relatively new to the Aurora, IL area, so this was my first trip to the Paramount Theater. I'm a bit of a Les Mis junkie and have seen it close to 20 times. The Paramount's website was very easy to use and buy tickets. They emailed me with important dates and info.
Although I was under the impression this was a touring group, the musical was put on by Paramount. For the most part, they did a fantastic job. The set was like nothing I've ever seen in this show and it worked beautifully! I brought someone who had never seen the show (hard for me to believe!) and he was a little confused, as the production did not flash the years on the stage, making it a bit difficult to follow.
But the theater itself was easy to find, everyone we encountered was extremely nice and I would definitely return!

I've seen several shows/concerts here -- they are always fantastic and reasonably priced. Great venue, close to home :-) --- love it here.

This is a beautiful old theater. I have season tickets to the broadway musical package. Every season I am more amazed at the quality of the shows they produce! I have been to Theater shows in large city theaters and these rank right up there with quality of the large companies.

The plays that the Paramount puts on are as good or better than any play I have seen downtown Chicago or even New York. The staff is wonderful, easy to get to, and great sight lines from any seat we have been in. And all this at 1/2 the price of a downtown play.

The first show I saw at the Paramount was Mary Poppins and by far one of the best shows I have seen to date. The production was excellent. The theater is smaller which gives you a chance to see better and not miss anything. They do have a bar downstairs to get drinks and snacks. Since Mary Poppins we have gone back for, Oklahoma, A Christmas Story, Hairspray and West Side Story all which were great.

Visiting the Paramount theater itself is reason enough to come to Aurora. The building is gorgeous and houses fabulous talent in the western suburbs. I have subscriptions to Broadway in Chicago and Drury Lane as well as to the Paramount and I can truthfully say the productions I have seen at the Paramount rival anything I’ve seen in any of those venues. Box office staff make it easy to exchange tickets. Parking is free or inexpensive and close to the theater. Restaurants with a reasonable distance are available. Close to home, very reasonably priced and consistently producing quality offerings are my top three reasons the Paramount wins the Theater Trifecta!

The Paramount Theatre is a beautiful theatre located in downtown Aurora. It has the best Broadway musical plays at a very reasonable price. It also has other shows with headliners, like Tim Allen. I am a subscriber to the Broadway series and I highly recommend the plays.

The Paramount Theatre is truly a local gem! It's a beautiful venue that offers high quality entertainment at a fraction of the cost of Chicago locations, and it's so close to home. The staff is kind and helpful. We enjoy the Broadways shows, national touring companies and classic movie Mondays.
This location makes every effort to keep the love of theatre alive. They provide showings of movie classics on special days throughout the year, local performances, big name performers, and seasonal shows of all varieties. Their volunteer staffis well informed about the history and community, and they make the experience great as well!
