Parkway Bank Park in Rosemont is an entertainment district, that was developed and opened in 2012 as a 200000 square foot (18580 square meters) complex, with various dining and entertainment venues: restaurants with live music, bowling , gaming; comedy club, AMC movie theater, a large lawn used for concerts and festivals in summer, and as a skating rink in winter. At the time of my visit, this lawn was being turned into a skating rink, and some restaurants already started to decorate their outdoor seating areas for winter holidays.
The outdoor area of the Park is well marked, has many info boards, giving the schedules of current and upcoming cultural and social events. When I was walking around the area in the late afternoon, it wasn't busy: some restaurants were open, and many entertainment venues were waiting for visitors in later hours.
Parkway Bank Park has a large parking garage, plus free public transportation -- shuttle bus services, that are provided from the neighboring Fashion Outlets of Chicago mall.

We were bummed that Toby Keiths had closed and hadn't heard about it. The sign was still up. It was one of the reasons we went. Looking at the website it's still on there. But they are in the process of putting something else in it's place. We ate at Park Tavern and it was delicious. It was hard to decide where to eat because everything looked great. If you have kids they would enjoy Kings, food and a bowling alley. And Sugar Factory had all kinds of candy, sweets and food too. But we went for a romantic day so we avoided those and stuck to the more adult locations. Kings would probably be fun late at night for some adult fun. They had an ice skating rink in the middle of it all. There's also an indoor skydiving place too. A little bit for everyone. When you eat they will validate your parking ticket if you bring it with you. Lots of hotels nearby if you wanted to stay the night and play.

Great location and many good restaurants and night venues. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends

Few places to eat and drink. Few shops to spend ome money. Wide open common area. Overall cool place to visit and spend the afternoon or evening.
One issue was getting an Uber/cab. Only one place to load and it was hard to find.

A fun hangout spot with many choices for dining and entertainment and now called “Parkway Bank Park.” It is ironic that the word “park” happens so often in the name of this place, because the parking at this “entertainment destination” is a disaster and the architect who designed it should be embarrassed.

Attending a free concert with outdoor food and beverage stands from the surrounding restaurants. Get your parking ticket validated at any restaurant for free parking. Easy to get here and easy to exit with help of the efficient Rosemont police force directing traffic.

Had a great time here, nice place to eat and watch some Rock and Roll band shows. I saw ten Atomic Punks (Van Halen cover band) and it was fantastic.

MB Financial Park offers a lot of musical entertainment outside during the summer. Free usually, and after the festivities on Thursday nights, a great fireworks show. Also on Thursday,The restaurants that surround the Park (5 Roses Irish Pub, Toby Keith's Bar and Grill, Park Tavern, Hofbrahaus, Adobe Gilas and a couple others set up small tents outside, and offer drinks, beers, wine, and small tastes of food. From hot dogs, to brats, pulled pork sliders, pretzels, and on and on.
Although there are a few picnic tables, these are gone early. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, sit back, enjoy the music and fireworks. May only run through the summer, check before going.

Been going to the summer concerts on Thursday for a few years now. Some of the best bands. Fireworks afterwards are a plus. Especially love the ELO, Eagles, Bob Segar, Bee Gees, Punk Floyd. Great lineup.

Tuesdays are country music in the park and Thursdays are rockin in the park. Great place to enjoy the music outside on your chair, watching fireworks and chillin. Such a great place.

Great area to hang out and get some good food. The parking is easy and most places will validate for you.
There is a nice selection of restaurants and bars. The park area is nice to hang out in. It hosts different events throughout the year.

Free concerts on Tuesdays and Thursdays the kids love it. You get to see cool bands and enjoy an evening out for very little money. It's an awesome time

close to airport and lots of entertainment good for families and couples also teenagers would enjoy the fly zone and Muvico theatre

They have so many free things to do. You need to go to their website and see what is happening. Free exercise, concerts and fireworks. Many good places to eat as well.

My family and I recently visited MB Financial Park to attend an event. Parking was very convenient (and validated/paid for at various venues), security was in place, given there was an outdoor concert. There are plenty of restaurants and felt safe while there. Also, while we were there, someone had tripped/fallen and very quickly (within minutes) there were EMT's on the spot, tending to the individual.

From end of May until the beginning of September there is "Rockin in the Park" free concerts every Thursday evening from 7 PM until 10 PM with local bands performing.
I enjoyed it very much. Get there early to reserve an open bench. Plenty of food and drink vendors to choose from.

Many food and entertainment choices: Zanies, movie theater, bowling alley plus several bars and restaurants. You are sure to find something for everyone here. Attached parking garage (not sure of rates- we paid $23 for overnight parking through our hotel). Overpriced- but convenient!

This is a unique concept and I think a good one. If you are in Rosemont, you are there for business. Your either in a conference room or a convention center all day being on for business.
This field is a great place to unwind. I've been to this area many times and there is always some activity happening whether a pickup soccer game, Frisbee, or people just walking laps. I had to take a phone call during a night out with colleagues and I would rather do laps around the green than just stand in a quiet corner.
Nice move civil engineers!

The 200,000-square-foot Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District in northwest suburban Rosemont, near O'Hare International Airport, is home to a dozen venues offering international cuisine, nightlife, live music, comedy, state-of-the-art film, bowling, even motorcycling and indoor skydiving. Lots of family fun. For an 80-year-old retired sportswriter, however, my favorite go-to destination is the Big Ten Experience. Located on the first floor of the new three-story, $20 million Big Ten Conference headquarters, which is adjacent to the Parkway Bank Park, the Big Ten Experience features a collection of 13 interactive exhibits that showcase conference notables dating to 1896, when the conference was founded. The museum gives patrons an interactive behind-the-scenes look at student-athletes and Big Ten school traditions along with radio and television features of notable conference accomplishments on and off the field. See highlights of Jesse Owens, Red Grange, Nile Kinnick, Tom Harmon, Otto Graham, Dick Butkus, Archie Griffin, Cazzie Russell, Jerry Lucas and Isiah Thomas. Look up statistics, learn about the Big Ten sports legends and listen to famous radio and TV calls of unforgettable football and basketball games. Remember Nick Anderson's game-winning three-point shot as Illinois beat Indiana in 1989? Or Keith Smart's game-winning shot as Indiana won the 1981 NCAA championship? Before you leave, take a Heisman Trophy Photo Op. Strike a Heisman pose and take home a photo.

Good place to take family and lots of things to do. Such as ice skating, bowling, theater, and lots of restaurant in th

This place is great place to meet with friends or have your little ones run around. There's plenty of place to go eat, and some activities. Concerts are always fun.

Ice skating was fun to do. Great rental skates. Price $8. Heated tent for family and friends to stand in to watch. Awesome staff and super assisting if you fell

This place was awesome! So much to do in a small area. We had a blast going there. Walking distance from most of the hotels. Bars, restaurants, indoor skydiving and other fun activities. Great atmosphere

Cool place to hang out, plenty of bars and restaurants to grab a bite or drinks, casino and a bowling alley. The night we were there, there was an 80's rock band playing on the outdoor stage. Definitely go back!

When traveling for businesses our supplier wanted to take us to Park Tavern after an all day meeting for some dinner. We opted to get appetizers and drinks here. Love the areas, several shops and restaurants. Parking garage nearby and this location is near the Chicago fashion outlet:s. The park was hosting an exercise class when we got down there and the whole park was full of people and they even had a DJ/ music. Great place to hang outside or inside and their was an artist painting murals in the parking garage which looked awesome! Would love to go back and explore more!

To a purest, this place is kind of annoying - why not go to Munich to see the REAL Hofbrauhaus? But if you're just in Chicago for a layover, or have a few hours free during an OHare hotel convention, you can have a nice visit here. Probably a simple way to get here from the airport, all local hotels have free local and airport shuttles, and parking is free with restaurant validation. Also, there's a gree area (although fake grass) in the middle of all the restaurants, so kids can play while adults are imbibing. Certain nights there are free concerts here as well.

We have been to the MB Financial Park in winter and summer. Winter was great for the ice skating rink and summer was great to just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend going here if you are in Rosemont.

What a great entertainment district!! Just steps from O'Hare airport and the outlet mall, spend hours enjoying this entertainment district. Full of restaurants, bars, dining, live music, bowling and a movie theater. And yet, it resembles something of a village square as well. The center is a big open plaza where bands play in the summer (bring your lawn chair or blanker) and they make it into a charming ice rink in the winter. You can even take your drink from one bar and head outside and enjoy it on the plaza.
There is a movie theater, bowling alley, and even a Big10 interactive museum. Fun events fill the website's calendar all year round.
Parking is validated at any business there, and you have 24 hours. So even if you end up taking a taxi back to your hotel, you can still get it the next day, and if it was validated at some point, it's still free. They have valet service as well.
Come with a date, come with friends, come with a large group. This district is intimate, fun, and you will find something here for anyone. If you have a layover at O'Hare, definitely make your way here.

We were here last weekend and just enjoyed walking around. It's people watching at new heights. We wanted to find out about the skating rink and the Christmas tree. The lighting will be Thanksgiving night, and the rink opens up soon. Toby Keith's Bar and Restaurant is gone, but the bowling establishment is really the King's place. Save time for fun here!!

How cool to have live music outdoors with a festival setup, restaurants have tents set up selling a small menu of food and drink. You can also go to 5 or 6 restaurants and eat on their patios to listen to the outdoor scene. Daytime the turf is a field for games and was told it's an ice rink in the winter. Parking can be validated at the businesses. Good people watching and plenty of security.

This place is just a short walk away from the Embassy hotel we like to stay at in Rosemont. It's a great addition to the area especially if you don't want to have to drive anywhere once you're settled in the parking garage of the hotel. There are several good restaurants to eat at and when it's nice weather the restaurants all open their big doors and people are sitting outside eating and the music is floating out creating a great atmosphere. There is also an indoor sky diving place and a bowling alley and comedy club and the Muvico theater is right there too, so there's plenty to keep you entertained!

Relatively new to the area and we stumbled upon this place on a random Tuesday. With all the food and drink vendors out as well as live music. It was a lot of fun. We have since brought all our friends and family who have come to visit. It's always a good time.

My great beautiful friend and I went here on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend, looking for some live entertainment after being couped up most of the spring and summer with shelter-in-place orders, closures, cancellations, etc. Zanie's was closed and Bub's had no musicians playing, but Adobe Gilas had a great guy playing guitar and singing during dinner. After we left, a DJ apparently played dance music into the wee hours. We walked around to many of the restaurants and bars, and found more places to eat and go when we return.
Definitely planning another trip here.

The MB Financial Park at Rosemont is essentially an astroturf field surrounded by a road and restaurants. It is well done but not really a tourist destination.

There's a lot of schedule events here during summer time like Rockin in the park every Thursday and a fireworks afterwards. Check their website for the schedule of events. We had fun.

Concerts in the park, to yoga to dance. Come on out and enjoy a relaxing evening or just work out. You will like it. Parking is public lot.

MB Financial Park at Rosemont is a dining and entertainment complex located just west of River Rd., between Balmoral Ave. & Bryn Mawr Ave. There is a parking garage which does offer validated parking, but you may want to check whether the location that you are going does validate the parking. There is a ton of information on the website about the establishments, as well. There are nine different restaurants, including: Adobe Gilas, Bogart’s, Bub City, Five Roses, Fogo de Chao, Hofbrauhaus Chicago, Kings Bowling, Park Tavern and the Sugar Factory. As far as things to do, there is iFLY Indoor Skydiving, an AMC Dine-in 18 Theatre (formerly Muvico), Zanie's Comedy Club and more. During the winter, you'll find a full-size ice skating rink in the center.

We attended a country concert, Radio Romance & Jukebox Mafia, part of the parks free summer concert series (Thursday nights is Rock). The park is newely constructed and surrounded by eatries, shops & entertainment venues. A large parking garage is adjacent with direct access to the park. It has an artifical grass surface with picnic tables & seating bences near the stage area and an open area for portable chairs & blankets. They do not allow coolers, drinks or outside food in the park but there are numerous places to get eats & drinks. Several temp booths are in place for the concerts along with the permenante structures.
We enjoyed Bavaria beer & dinner at the Hofbrauhaus, modeled after the original in Munich, Germany, in the biergarten (beer garden) just across the street (closed to traffic for the concert) with a good view of the stage.
The park offers a friendly & safe enviroment for all including small children. Multi colored & changing lights are overhead & fireworks ends the evening.
The city of Rosemont & MB Financial have done an outstanding job with this venue.

A great addition to the area. Nice outdoor area for concerts and also outdoor fitness. Plenty of restaurants

Plenty of things to do here. Sports bars, comedy clubs, bowling, ice skating. It's a great place to visit

Been here multiple times and the place is really nice. It’s clean and well lit. Regardless of the time there is always someone playing soccer. It makes it seem family oriented with all the bars around.
If some gets “brave” enough you’ll see a few adults kicking the ball around. That’s entertainment.

Awesome little place to stop if you are staying by the airport or have a flight. This place has restaurants and nice ambience.

Gem in the middle of nowhere. Our hotel was within walking distance of this place. It has like 6- 7 restaurants, bowling alley, movie theater, and comedy club. They also have a huge concert area in the middle. They have live mucus twice a week in the summer and fireworks on Thursday nights. The fireworks were amazing- they had some types I had never seen before.

Enjoyed grabbing a drink and snack outdoors while a Led Zeppelin Tribute Band played on the stage in the park.

Lots of places to eat and lots to do. Great offerings for everyone. Great activities planned throughout the week. Concerts on Tuesday and Thursdays in summer and so many other things to do. Loved the families all playing and hanging out together.

Lots of stuff to do, good restaurants, cool events sometimes. Parking sucks sometimes but most places validate it so that's cool.

We went last night to see a local band that plays at a lot of these summer concert events around the metro area. We do this a lot and we find this location to be one of the best. During the season they have a variety of bands play and the food around the green is an excellent variety and isn't bad on the pocketbook. The music is 7:30 to 9:30. Last night, a Thursday night, they had fireworks after the music. A very good fireworks show. We will be going back for more concerts this summer.

Plenty of attractions along with bars, restaurants with free parking. Nice for families. friends or on your own. Close to the airport if you have time to spend between flights ...

Really fun and creative ideas for local and visitors to the area! Lots to do, see and eat when you're there, Sugar Factory, Outlet malls (across the street, walking distance) indoor skydiving, during the winter months they host an ice skating rink (rentals available) and parking is free if you dine at certain restaurants. Have your parking pass validated and you're good to go. Gorgeous outdoor seating areas and super close to hotels, the convention center and the theatre!

Awesome place to go and see concerts in the parks on Tuesday Night and the weekends.. lots of places to eat and drink. Very well kept clean area with all types of entertainment. Fashion mall is 2 minute walk.. great place to end a day trip!

The park had something happening every night when we were there. There are many restaurants to choose from. Live music,a movie theater, comedy club. There was a fireworks display the Thursday we were there and was told this happens every Thursday. Fun place to visit.

For all your needs. Romantic ? Yes. Just a night out? Definitly. Just to get together with all folks? There is no better place. Very cool.
Skate with the Greats
Was here for the Ronald McDonald House Skate with the Greats - The Chicago Blackhawks. The rink was nice, had outdoor seating so you can watch the players. There's skate rental there as well. Around the rink were some restaurants you could grab something to eat as well. Nice little rink!
