Very friendly, relaxing place to view a Spring Training Game. The volunteers are very helpful. Food and drinks are okay.

Clean stadium with hotels and restaurants nearby. We sat in the grass as we have a toddler. Great activity for a family.

My first trip to spring training, loved the stadium, food & beverage choices and merchandise! We had grass seating and absolutely enjoyed it!

Love this park! Rates are reasonable for the food and drink. Like Sloan it has a great beer selection.
Look for the liter water bottles, they're in the food stand near the team shop. The 32 oz lemonade by the lawn (they sell brats, Chicago dogs too) is an outstanding buy too for a ball park.
There is lots of sunshine, but it's a baseball park in Arizona, so enjoy!
We were here twice. The seats behind home plate were a little uncomfortable, especially if a really tall Cleveland fan sits in front of you:), but it's a really good time.
There is a nice little water playground for the kids, so if you've got little ones, try it out.
The staff is wonderful. Some interesting baseball fans tried to vape on the lawn, and were nicely told no. Don't be afraid to get security at any of these parks, they want everyone to have a fun safe time!

Rightfully so, this place should be the top thing to do in Peoria. Disappointed in the "beer garden pass" as had 4 beers on tap... LOVE seeing Four Peaks all over this place, one of my favorite breweries in the nation (Peach ale and Golden Lager are the best). Lower rating because I just do not understand the hype of spring training ball; felt sub-minor league; no music. Rampant Cubs fans were not friendly and did not see any security. Ticket prices are over minor league prices which is sad to see because literally any MiLB ballpark can offer this. I will solely go to Spring Training if I am in PHX for some reason in this time; will not make a road trip out of it like I see SO MANY people do. Oh, and spring training merch, 52 dollars for a baseball cap had me dying laughing.

Spending the week in Peoria. Wandering around the practice field in the mornings and watching the games in the afternoon on the big field takes up all our time. And it is a great way to spend time. Well thought out flows with lots of ways to spend time and money make this an exciting way to get warm and ready for baseball season. I especially appreciate the food options, but I'm not a fan of the variable pricing, but who is. Practice is free and the best way to really see what makes baseball special.

It was our first time at a spring training venue and I must admit I was impressed. Beside the beautiful field and stands there were plenty of food venues and even a playground & splash pad for kids. Even though the temp was 72 degrees it was quite hot in the sun so we did have to get up a few times. (BTW there is sunscreen in the restrooms) One of the areas that I really liked was the covered standing area near the outfield. It was a great place to stretch your legs, see the game & get out of the sun. I wish we had gone to the area right below it because you pay $5 to get in and you receive a voucher for a beer and/or soda. That is the cost for a drink alone. Unfortunately by the time we decided to go there around the 5th inning there was no place to sit. It was a great day to enjoy a ball game with friends.

It's the first shared complex by two baseball teams built back in the 90s park across the street and walk if you want to save on parking
Good solid family fun stadium
Great variety of food
Taste of San Diego throughout

From food to service and plenty of places to watch the happenings, Peoria Sports Complex is the place to be. Parking is plentiful with lots of excellent choices close by to dine and shop including Arrowhead Harley Davidson just across the street.

We love this place, they are constantly upgrading and changing the facility. They host Cactus League teams and they also host a food truck rally that is large.

Great family place to go watch a game. Parking is a little bit of a challenge and it can get really warm walking. If you want to go see your favorite team go to some of the spring training parks. When buying tickets we go to their ticket booth and they were so good showing us where we could get seats that stayed somewhat out of the sun. We are always impressed how clean the stadium is and how helpful their staff is. Tickets are less expensive for spring training and most often you can get discount tickets. Just remember - get your tickets early as there is a high demand for tickets as our out of state visitors come to enjoy the weather and games.

the park is great! the food is fattening! and the game goes on add beer and there's nothing better. Grass seats are good kid babysitters

This is one of the newer of the stadiums built for Spring Training in the Phoenix area. A unique feature of this park is the "bullpen", set up for kids to throw pitches to a mannequin batter and catcher in uniforms. It has a radar gun so they can see how hard their stuff is. Great patio bar in the left field stands.
There are dozens of bars and restaurants nearby, plenty of parking and excellent lighting and security. This park will hold special meaning to us for a while since it was the last park in our tour of all the parks. It took three years, but we went to all of them. This is a great ballpark.

Typical Spring Training ball park for Arizona and that is a good thing. Good selection of ball park food. Good views from ever seat. 90% chance of good weather. Easy in and out for parking with lots of good eateries near by. Beautiful eye appeal so great for pictures. Good value also.

Bucketlist check off! Spring training with the M's brought the joy and excitement of baseball. We made it down for the last game of spring training this year. Wonderful facility. Parking was cheap, weather was great (until it got dark and freezing - we werent dressed for it), baseball game ended in a tie (only in spring).
Our 2 year old LOVED the play area. She is now a climbing and sliding PRO.
Sat next to some wonderful retired people that spend the entire spring watching games. A great experience!

We're Giants fans visiting for Spring Training. We went and saw the Mariners v Giants game yesterday. Before the game we went and watched the Mariners warm up on the practice fields. Our sons (11 and 12), were able to walk up to the players as they walked from the practice fields to the game field to get autographs. The players were gracious and the boys collected 34 in all! What a great memory for them. One tip though out at the game field. It was 96 and our seats were in the sun. Remember to bring extra sun gear. We ended up only staying an hour at our excellent seats because the sun was too much. We had to find a standing spot in the shade elsewhere.

Nothing better than to catch a spring training game in the Sports Complex, home to both the padres and the Mariners. Weather in March is always perfect, they have a surprisingly good collection of food and beer, and there is not a bad seat anywhere!

One can have a perfect day and have so much excitement while just sitting there watching it all. One could say it is addicting. Bring the kids, to family and friends. No one is ever disappointed.

Been there several times for different events. Many agencies get together to put up booths that provide much information of services that are provided in the community. Many activities are provided for the children during these events.

First trip to Peoria for Spring Training. The Padre/Mariners have a beautiful stadium with many fun venues! Day games are warm and there is little shade, but the evening was spectactular! Food is expensive as ALL sports food is, but there is a great choice.

What a great and fun night. We saw an exciting ball game from a unique vantage point and enjoyed fantastic weather. The home team won and we were up on the 3rd level with a separate serving area to take care of our thirst and hunger needs. We didn’t need jackets for the night air either. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the facility is well maintained. I think this is my favorite place to watch a a Spring Training game!

another baseball spring training park that has loads of amenities and fun things to do during spring training, home of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres

We are huge baseball fans (Toronto Blue Jays) but they weren’t in town to play the Dbacks during our holiday to Phoenix. Nonetheless, we had to catch a game and saw that the Dbacks were playing the Padres the day after we flew in. The stadium (sports complex) is easy to find and parking is available. Unfortunately, the lot was full so we parked behind Target nearby. Our seats were in section 219 and to be honest I don’t think that there was a bad seat in the place. There are only two decks, lower and second, the attendance was ~9,000 when we went. Food and drink was pricey but that’s pretty standard when going to the ballpark. We even made it onto the Jumbotron! The staff there was SUPER friendly and I found it interesting that you could select tickets for lawn seating which is handy for families with small children who don’t want to be confined to a seat. The weather was perfect, sunny and 25 degrees. I highly recommend catching a game during spring training, the atmosphere is super chill and I like that there wasn’t constant game music and noise like during regular season games.

If memory serves me correct this was the first dual team stadium that started the new trend in Cactus League stadiums. Best advice for this place is go to a night game, it's like everyone is family and you'll have a great time.

I came down from Seattle to catch a Mariners game and had a great time. The field itself is charming and intimate. It feels small, smaller than some minor league parks that I have been to, and the lines of sight were perfect. Tickets were reasonably priced, and the selection of food, drinks and merch was great. I loved how the staff at Peoria obviously tried to give small biz a space at the park, with family food vendors and local microbrew beers, all reasonably priced.
This is exactly what I was hoping for from my spring training experience.

What a great place to see a spring training major league baseball game. The seats are comfortable and there really are no bad seats.
It is just as exciting as going to a regular season game but it is so much more enjoyable. The players (Mariners and Athletics) signed autographs as they entered the field, and the fans are very respectful of each other...unlike some regular games. The employees were all very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept.
Although the home team lost, it was a great evening and we got to see two home runs, one by a former Yankees (my team!)

Gorgeous weather. Beautiful ball park. Cubs 16-12 over the Mariners. The only one who wins during a 16-12 spring training game that lasts 4 hours is ME!

Total fun! Not a bad seat in the house. Bring a hat! Check out the food places on the ground floor. I didn’t see them until I was leaving. Nothing wrong with hot dogs, but if you’d like something different they have it!

Autographs (#1 of 8 ballparks):
We all came to Arizona seeking out our favorite player on our favorite team—Peoria is the best place to get them! Mariners practice (beginning around 9:30am) is a little less fan friendly as this season (2018) they have roped off some of the areas so you cannot approach the fence. Makes it easy for the players to ignore you. Although I’ve seen some of the nicer guys (Dee Gordon, Robinson Cano) call kids over to sign for them and thus the security guards will allow them through. San Diego practice is almost always an autograph hit. Guys sign here everyday and often for everyone waiting. They farm system is loaded and they have legendary coaches (McGwire, Nomo, Hoffman) who are all fan friendly.
What really puts this park over the top though is the ability to get autographs in-game. Head beyond the first base foul pole and you can walk down below the end of the walkway and wait at a fence where the players walk by on their way to and from the field. Every game, someone (if not MANY ones) from both the home team AND away will stop here. Check it out as they are entering before the game and as they begin to leave the game from the 5th inning on. Beware—this area can get packed!
Crowds (#4 of 8):
Since the big leaguers don’t play as much during spring training, and wins and loses don’t count, we prefer smaller crowd sizes at ST games. Fewer people stepping over you in the lawn, short hot dog/bathroom lines and players are much friendlier when crowds aren’t elbowing kids for their autographs (surprise!). Peoria is a big draw on the weekends, but not nearly as much as some of the east valley parks. However, last year the Mariners drew about 2,000 people more per game than the Padres. A weekday Friars game should mean cheap tickets and lots of room in the lawn!
Game Experience (#2 of 8):
Built in ’94, this is one of the older Cactus facilities, but it has held up well. In addition to the great place to get player autographs, they have a fun children’s play area beyond left centerfield, a small whiffle ball area behind the first base line concourse and a fantastic lawn area. Parking is ample and close and concessions are as expected at a ballpark (but nothing exceptional).

Great ball park. Something for all ages. You can sit in the stands or on the grass, stroll around the stadium, go upstairs for cover from the sun and have lunch/drinks. Go find the BBQ Hot Dogs..not boiled. Easy access off the freeway.

We went here for a game and practice and fell in love. This park is geared for the kid experience. They had a special section roped off for kids to get autographs and the stadium has a small playground with water features and a small ball field. I would definitely recommend.

Fun in the sun. This is a nicely done Spring training venue. Nice selection of food vendors and seats. All price ranges. Free parking

Very comfortable place to watch a Spring Training baseball game. Good beer and food. A fun, relaxed day at the park!

There is free parking at the stadium with easy entering and exiting. If you want to watch the pre-game practice activities, you may want to park on side of the stadium with the team practicing (Padres or Mariners). The food options are limited but adequate.

Being a baseball fan makes this the highlight of the season. The grounds are beautiful. The players are all so accommodating to sign autographs and stop to chat at times. Take in the game and enjoy a lot of ballpark food choices that aren't typically available in most stadiums.

Went to the park for Spring Training. Probably the best scoreboard out of all of the spring training stadiums. Seats are tight if you are a larger person. I am 6'5" and it was tight. You are close to the field, so be watching for bats and balls coming into the stadium if you are sitting outside of the net area. Staff was friendly, but had a situation where the ticket person didn't realize they could scan the ticket off of the cellphone. I didn't have any food there, but everything looked good. There is a great restaurant across the street from the stadium called Abuelo's,

Lots of great seats, some with shade, close to the on-field action. Lawn seating is plentiful. Many good food choices. Family-friendly ballpark that is home for the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. There is a fee for parking. You can take in a sealed bottle of water and food. There are also many good restaurants just outside this baseball complex.

My wife and I and some friends were down for spring training in March and went to a Cubs-Mariners game at this park. It was unseasonably warm and sunny (high 80's) and we immediately noticed there is almost no shade anywhere in this ball park. Make sure you bring a hat, sunscreen, and drink lots of water cause you will bake! When we got to our seats they were almost too hot to sit on. There were also very view areas for standing in the shade if one got up from one's seat (as compared to Sloan Park, for example). We were impressed by the food selection however--there was a wide variety of food from different nationalities and a good selection of beers as well.

This park is a great clean park. It has a splash pad and several age specific recreational areas. it is well maintained and also has lakes for fishing for those that have fishing licenses.

I came by for a visit as I am a fan of both the Padres and the Mariners. The stadium is as good as any and well located for shopping and dining. Go Pads!

This facility represents the City of Peoria extremely well. The field and surrounding have been developed from cotton field many years ago and now it blends in with the thousands of home and businesses in the area. On a personal note I would like to see prices stabilize instead of increasing on a regular basis.

We just arrived in town and got stuck in a long line of cars trying to make our way in , not even knowing if there were any seats available . The parking attendant was very friendly and informed us that there still was lawn seating . We actually parked quite close to the ticket booth . Again another very friendly employee . As we talked about what remained on sale she told us 2 tickets just popped up , row 10 , right behind home plate . Total price was just over $60 . Really expensive for a game that doesn't mean anything , but this is the game we came to Phoenix for . We had a great time and it was wonderful to see the break on the pitches . We had the sun behind us but we both wore hats and the only exposed skin was our necks . It was a fabulous experience , but it also made us realize watching them practice would probably be more interesting .
All the employees we had interactions with were wonderful , including walking over to the offices where we were given some sun screen . We wanted to explore the rest of the complex but by the end of the game there wasn't any baseball activities going on . It is a little out of the way , but they have done a terrific job keeping the park clean and looking new .

Fly into PHX and too public transportation to the ball field. Bus 24 to 67...takes you to TC Arrowhead Mall. Walked 3/4 or less of a mile to stadium. What a great lay out with Padre and Mariner fields on opposite sides. You mingle with the players as they do BP, Bunt workouts, running base drills, pitching and catching. It is the most kid friendly thing I have ever seen. They even gave this old guy a ball. Didn't even ask for it! I am hooked on Spring Training! Will be going to Talking Stick next week!! Go CUBS!

My 2 boys (10 & 13) and I went to Padres Spring Training March 2 (Saturday) for a 1:05 start game. We arrived at 9:15 in the morning to take in Padres MLB & MiLB practices at the surrounding fields. When we arrived there was nobody set up to charge for parking so we saved $5. We walked over to the practice field entrance and the friendly security folks their handed us a game program and we had a short friendly chat. The practice fields are very accessible and we were able to watch the MLB players on fields 1 & 2 and more MiLB players on 3-6. Players are pretty accessible and short conversations can be had as they move from field to field or clubhouse. You also have a lot of opportunity to catch homerun/foul balls when the players take BP. Keep an eye out because you may get hit. Players (especially minor leaguers) are willing to sign autographs or take pictures which is really fun. Be prepped with a pen and have your camera/phone ready to shoot as the players don't have much time. Most of the practices wrapped up by noon although there were a few players getting in extra reps.
We headed into the game at noon. There were cash only specialty foods (brats, chicken fingers, beer) along the outfield concourse behind the berm as well as typical fare in the building concessions. There is a large beer pavilion as well.
We sat on the left field berm where there is plenty of room. Bring a blanket to sit on as the grass could be moist. Be sure to look out for 3rd out balls getting thrown to the berm by cordial players. Also watch out as the homeruns can land on your blanket.
Being a saturday there was a pretty large crowd and not much room to run if you wanted to chase a ball, but talking with others and watching some games on TV this place can be pretty sparce for monday-thurs. games. Tickets can be had for as low as $5 on reseller sites during the week.
This is a great place to watch a game!

Good eats and top friendly staff, to top it off the Padres won.
We also liked the golf cart ride to the main gate!
Get the bratwurst Hot Dog...and the Greek Fries! Going back!

Great venue for watching the Mariners. We had great seats in the 109 section and were able to have a close up view of the players. Parking was $5.00.

This was our first visit to AZ, so we figured we'd see a MLB spring training game. This complex was soo nice. We were literally 20 feet from the players. Before the game you can go by right field where the players walk in and if you're lucky get some autographs. We were lucky enough to get some Cubs players to autograph some balls, but not so much the Padres, granted we are Cub fans so it didn't matter. How do you pass up a little kid, your biggest fan, holding out a baseball asking for an autograph. Oh well. In any case, the complex was soo clean and very well setup. Prices were not bad for food, unless you bought from the walking vendors. $6 for watered down lemonade was not good.
For the price, it's totally worth going..

Great ballpark. Not a bad seat in the house. Relaxed atmosphere. Free parking. Easy in and out, but leave a little extra time to arrive if you're coming North on the 101. Traffic gets backed up exiting the freeway. Exiting was a breeze.

Planned a weekend to watch Padres training camp. Prices and the fan experience are great. Arriving early alongside the Padres dugout can give you access to players and photographs. The prices for concessions are actually affordable for a family. Early March provides you with great weather for day games. There really isn't a bad seat in the ballpark. Overall a great fan experience for the price.

We saw the Padres vs. The Royals yesterday for $19 a ticket in the 2nd row on the 3rd base line! This complex is wonderful. It is very clean, has lots of food options including gyros, smoothies, Teriyaki rice and noodles, pulled pork and brisket sandwiches and even deep fried bacon cheeseburgers! You can get all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks- not just beer. There are grassy areas for kids and even a kids baseball area. Parking was only $5. If you like baseball I highly recommend you check this stadium out!

peoria sporst complex is a great place to take the kids to see pre season baseball the food is great people are very frendly my famly goys every year. thanks for a great place to watch spring traying.

Always something going on. Plenty of space to walk around and also to sit. Draws crowds every year on 4th of July. Great fireworks display. If you park close by during events, plan on slow go when the event is over. Tons of traffic, just be patient you will get out in about 30-60 minutes

We came to this stadium rooting for the visiting team. Sometimes that doesn't endear you to the local fans, but everyone here was quite good-natured about it. Then, as we were leaving, my wife realized she had accidentally dropped her phone somewhere on the premises. Sure enough, it was in the Lost and Found. Some kind soul had rescued her. Made our ballpark experience that much more pleasurable.

Peoria sports complex, is 1 of the friendliest places to watch a spring training ballgame. Friendly people, Ushers and just all around friendly place to visit. Either alone or with the Family.

The Mariners and Padres share an excellent Spring Training facility at the Peoria Sports Complex. We had seats in the 3rd raw behind the dugout for under $25/each. We could hear the players and managers talking. It was just like being on the field with them. Though I'm a Cardinal fax rather than a Cub fan, I had a nice discussion with Fergie Jenkins who was promoting his non-profit for inner-city kids. I highly recommend this ballpark for fans of all ages.

Parking is easy, seating is great and the best hot dogs of all spring training games. Crowd control could have been better, had a couple drunk Phillie fans that should have been thrown out. Want to watch the game not hecklers.

The best location for spring baseball fans. Baseball, movies, restaurants, hotels, shopping all withing walking distance ... who needs a car?

Love this venue for a ball game as there are lots of amenities for all ages. Beware of the pitching cage where they track the speed of your pitch for a donation. Almost threw my arm out....they do need a 60 plus category though. Food and beverages are over-priced like most ball parks but there is lots of selection. Great play areas for children!!

Visited 2 parks, Mariners and Padres are doing a excellent job !! Nice food options, a few activities for kids.

We wanted to watch the Mariners on their home field. We didn't know what to expect with the spring training stadiums here, so we only took our 8 year old (who loves baseball) and we left our 5 year old at home. We also bought seats along the 3rd baseline online rather than waiting to buy them right before the game. After visiting, we easily could have brought our 5 year old, and we would have saved ourselves some money and sat on the grass. The park has a miniature diamond for kids where two workers monitor hitting and fielding with a wiffle ball. Also, there is a BIG play structure complete with a mini water park and mister. So, if our 5 year old had gotten a bit restless, there would have been some options. The grass section looked great too; people lounging on blankets and enjoying a super view of the game. I was impressed with the selection of food and some yummy craft beer options as well.
It was fun sitting on the 3rd baseline because we were so close to the action. If you're a big baseball fan, that is probably the best option; but, if you're a casual fan or have a family, the grass would be the best bet.

Last minute get away..cubs fans able to get tix...nice clean park..be ready for lots of sun though ...bring sunscreen..sun hats..healthy snacks..empty H20 bottles can be filled inside for free..90 degrees today!!

Great place to visit and watch the Mariners. Much more up close and personal than the real staduims. Players sign autographs and the atmosphere is great. Tons of food, drinks and the store is full of great M's clothing for all ages.

Great place to watch a baseball game. The area around the complex has really developed since I was last there 10 years ago. Much more traffic - it took 15 minutes to get the last mile to the stadium. Just have to come early!

Al ways wanted to see a spring training game and finally had the time. We watched the Padres and Rockies play. The game was good but the stadium was great for a small ball park. Easy access. Very open, so low noise. Good food and shops. Definitely coming back.

Very nice complex. It is maintained very well. Plenty of parking and great atmosphere to watch baseball games of all age groups. Good food at reasonable prices.

Spent a day in Peoria on our way to Sedona and decided to take in a spring trading game. Peoria Sports Complex is a great venue. Our seats were along the third base line and gave us an excellent view of the field and players. It was an afternoon game so the sun was quite bright so be sure to bring sunscreen and sunglasses. Tired as we were we paid close attention because there were several well hit balls to our stand. Fortunately there were plenty of fans there with gloves at the ready. Old style baseball at its best. Family atmosphere. Ball boys tossed foul balls to the younger kids. Players signed autographs. Food was good but nothing to rave about...who cares really. All of the folks working at he stadium were friendly and courteous. Couple of downers: was happy to pay for the box seat online. But ordering online was a bit bummed by the $7 convenience fee. Really? Whose convenience? I don't blame the complex but rather greedy MLB. Also we encountered the roaming parking lot guy handing out stickers and asking for $5. Harmless enough and didn't press us. Finally, the search of my wife's purse and metal detectors. Okay I realize the world has changed. Just hoping to escape reality for maybe 3 hours. Still, overall a great experience and in my opinion a far greater value than a regular MLB game.

Great place to go have some fun. Totally enjoyed all of the activities that they offered when I travel back to Arizona I will be going to visit the Sports Complex.

We very much enjoyed this park, although shade is not plentiful. Spring Training offers an ability for fans to interact not just with players but umpires, too. Bill Miller accommodated a female fan who let the world know that she was observing her birthday. He pranked her by saying that he was Joe West.

I attended the Diamondbacks vs. Seattle game. This stadium is easy to get to and close to Arrowhead Mall and other attractions. What amazed me was the food court...with a variety of food choices at reasonable prices. I'll be back next Spring.

Visited during spring training. Good seats. Almosts anywhere in the stadium you will get a good view of the playing field. Very good food with no long lines. Will return.

The shared spring training facility for the Padres and the Mariners. Our 3rd trip in the last 15 years - the stadium is compact, clean, OK concessions and shops. I love the two wiffleball fields for kids - almost went in to play myself but then I'm a wiffle pitching master and it wouldn't have been fair.

Great Stadium to catch a Spring Game. This is the home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Lots of fun.

Came down to celebrate my husband's retirement! Facilities, staff, volunteers were awesome! Definitely look forward to coming back again!

Now, this is a great family outing! What fun we had. This complex is well put-together for the fan (family) experience.

Went their to watch a spring training game. There were a lot of people their but they got us in the gate quickly. We sat on the grass area and it was hot. The environment was very family friendly and would recommend it. Just be aware that the food and drinks are very expensive.

What's not to say about seeing a spring training game? I heard this has been recently remodeled but I don't know what has changed. Had the opportunity to meet one of my favorite pitchers and get his autograph so that made my week!

Great all around baseball complex. Easy access parking and nice relaxing atmosphere. Great deal on outfield lawn seats. Tons of restaurants around the complex.

We had 3 games here on our vacation. It was our first time there in late 1990’s. We had a chance to go to practice areas to watch warmups and fielding practice. The set up is conducive for fans with plenty of room for autographs/player interaction.
Everyone is very friendly! Team store has a lot of variety

This is a great complex to visit. The staff at the training facility is always friendly and helpful and you can get pretty close to the action and autographs. The team store always seemed to be well stocked and the stadium itself is great with good views of the action from every area we've been seated in. Happened to be there the night the Clydesdales were there and that was awesome, too, got some great pictures. Go Mariners!!

Great facility, many food choices, players sign autographs after game. 6,000 in attendance but seemed lackadaisical atmosphere. Not much crowd involvement via speakers, etc.

I wanted to buy some tickets for the San Diego Padres Spring Training games in March of 2018. But going onto the Padres and Major League Baseball web sites trying to buy tickets, especially for Handicapped people was a nightmare. The web pages did not work very well, were lacking information, and were very hard to understand. So I Called the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria Arizona so I could ask someone about the sections, seats and ADA areas available. I called and spoke to Arin the Ticket Operations Coordinator at the Peoria Sports Complex. Arin was so nice, as she had a bubbly attitude and was willing to answer all of my questions. Arin stayed on the phone with me for 20 minutes and walked me through the entire procedures on the Website so I could purchase tickets for me and my wife for some spring training games in 2018. Arin was so polite, and did not get frustrated as I had a lot of questions, as she lead me through the entire ticket purchase program online. In all the years I have be calling people at venues, and asking them questions, I have never had anyone as good as Arin to take care of all of my questions and needs. Arin should get a BIG Raise because she is a Gem ! I was thoroughly impressed with her positive attitude and willingness to stay on the phone with me until my total transactions were completed. Thank You Arin......You made my Day !

The tournament we attended was on the Mariners side. Everything was very well maintained. My only wish would've been for a few more trees. The shade over the bleachers, however, was a god send.

So excited to watch spring training game, Royals vs. Padres. The park is beautiful. We sat on the grass in the outfield, plenty of room for our 3 boys to stretch out and explore. Only drawback was expensive food and drinks, but we expected that.

Great stadium! Food and beer choices are very good. All seats have great views. Staff in the park were very helpful. Easy to get in and out of.

Enjoyed the lawn seats, and liked the value of the All You Can Eat buffet. but there were lots of other choices that I would have liked to tried too. Nice to see players signing balls, etc. for people by the bridge.

Great facility. We enjoy seeing Spring Training games here. Lawn seats are great, just bring sunscreen! This visit, we arrived around 9am to watch the players warm up and practice. They wrapped up around 1pm. Such a fun time for my little Padre fans (ages 7-12) to watch their favorite players up close and personal. Also a great chance to get an autograph or a photo.

The stadium is nice, but a little dated (told that they were in the midst of making upgrades to sections over the next few years). Autograph alley was unique compared to what we saw at other stadiums. We loved the overall complex with the practice fields for both the Padres and Mariners. They have restrooms and concessions set up for convenience and a lot of shaded, open grass areas for small kids, plus playgrounds. We enjoyed seeing the players running through drills, pitching in the bullpen, and taking batting practice. We got a BP home run ball for 10 minutes of effort. Will go back and try to take in some free minor league games. The surrounding area has a ton of restaurants and hotels.

Ballpark is friendly for all ages and disabilities.. There is plenty of space to move about. Not much to saw about snack bar it was limited to what was being sold since it was not a mlb sports venue but happy with the complex.

We love going to baseball games at this stadium. It is very fan friendly, reasonably priced and easy to find. It is the place to be in March - spring training home to the Padres and the Mariners!!

We went to the Padres vs. Indians game with friends. It is a very nice, Spring Training ballpark. There is very limited shade, so look at your ticket/seat locations when buying tickets. The ushers and other staff were friendly. Prices at the concession stands were about normal for an entertainment complex. Parking is easy and relatively close to the stadium.

What a fantastic way to spend part of the day watching the teams prepare for the 2016 Baseball Season. This complex is completely manicured and there are several diamonds in use all at the same time. Come on out. Plenty of parking, food vendors, and washroom facilities. The players are available for autographs too.

This is a great little ballpark, but at the top of our favorite list was watching the Padres baseball players practice in the morning. The workouts run from about 9:30 to noon. You can watch them in all types of practice sessions, some of which put you within touching distance of the players. A great place for baseball fans of all ages.

We visited 8 ballparks during our spring break in Arizona. All seemed very similar. We wished that they would work on bringing in foods of the teams and bring personality to the parks and games.

First time at the Spring Training Park. Lots of food choices, easy parking, and pretty cheap ticket options. There are cool things for young kids to do. Seats are great just about everywhere you sit. Well worth the visit.

Went to the Bites 'N Brews event on 10/1 and had a great time. Event was very well attended, organized and fun. Good selection of brewers represented and an excellent selection of food trucks (probably at least 30 to pick from).

Enjoyed our visit here. Visibility was good and the new scoreboard is awesome! Food choices were good and the lines weren't too long. One of the food vendors kept us laughing throughout the game. Only complaint would be that the seats were narrow with not much leg room.

They have really remodeled well. Try to book your tickets in the shade. The parking attendants will call a golf cart to transport folks to the ticket booth if you ask.

The addition of the Colonade room is very nice and would be a great place to watch a spring training game. The facility is awesome and the City of Peoria takes great care of this place and shows the pride of those who performs the day to day task to have it ready for any event that is hosted there.

The stadium does not have a bad seat. You can see the game and the players no matter where you sit. The hot dogs are great and the beer is cool. No better way to hang out in Spring, for Spring Training!!!

Took my twin brother to watch the Mariners take on the Diamondbacks on a gorgeous day. He didn't really want to go. Wasn't that interested really. (I made him go anyway.)
I'd bought two seats on the first row, third base side looking straight out at third base. The price for that was, in my opinion, very reasonable.
You could feel the difference from being in a big stadium as soon as the game started. The venue is just much more intimate. You could more clearly hear the chatter from the players. When a liner was ripped outside the third baseline you could hear the ball sizzle loudly as it passed by. (Better keep your eyes OPEN)
The heat that day was tolerable but I use a white tee shirt I'd bought to shade the sun.
The concessions throughout the park are just great. It's a little less expensive than at the "big game".
Over all it was a fantastic day at the ball park. Best of all my brother turned ton me and thanked me for making him go and that he'd had just the greatest time and it was memorable. I'm looking forward to do it again next season.

We go there a lot. Nice stadium, with place for bored little ones to hang out and run around without disturbing the game. Food is good. Lots of parking. Clean and well-maintained. Good for local games, fall ball, and major league spring training (Charge for parking during spring training).

Seats are uncomfortable and you need to stand up to stretch way before the 7th inning! Also the people trying to sell food came around way too often & were loud & annoying.

And it's nice that they have such a great park for spring training. The view is good from all seats, the berm is wide and green, there are plenty of options for eating. Shade is a little hard to come by until about the 4th inning during a day game, so plan accordingly.

If you're a baseball fan and visiting the Phoenix Metroplex in October/November you have the opportunity to watch the top prospects of all 30 teams competing in the Arizona Fall League. I went, with a couple of buddies, to a Peoria Javelinas/Mesa Solarsox game at the Peoria Sports Complex and we all went away happy. Saw some of baseball's up and coming stars in an up close and personal setting and were rewarded with a cleanly played game, with some great defensive plays, some crisp hitting and were even rewarded by a walk off homer by a Javelinas' Red Sox prospect. Parking is free. Senior (55+) tickets are $6. The park is a legitimate major league spring training facility. What's not to like? You're allowed to bring in bottled water but not food but we stopped at a nearby casual dining place before the game so that wasn't a problem for us. There is a no frills concession stand at the park for these games but we didn't test it. There is a small souvenir stand for those who want to buy a remembrance of their visit. One needs to check out the Arizona Fall League website for team schedules and venues. A great & economical way for a baseball fan to spend a relaxing November day in the Arizona desert.

My son is on a junior little league baseball team (teens) and all of his games were played at the Peoria Sports Complex. The site is clean and well kept. The bathrooms are accessible and close to the stands. The snack bar is reasonable priced and provides ample snack choices. I would recommend visiting the sports complex.

Coming to Spring Training to watch the Padres has been on my boyfriends bucket list since they have moved from Yuma to Peoria. We finally made it out here and what a GREAT time we had. Let me be honest, I wasn't looking forward to spending 6 hours in the HOT sun watching men throw balls around, but to my surprise the heat wasn't that bad at all. First thing we did was put LOTS of sunscreen on, made sure we had our hats on and packed plenty of water and I recommend bringing a backpack to carry with you as it came in handy for us.
The facility is absolutely beautiful and compact. You will have plenty of walking to do between pitching area and 5 practice fields and the main sports complex, so wear comfortable shoes. If you want to get up close and personable with the players, then this is the place to be. They have the Single A, Double A, Triple A, and Major baseball players practicing from pitching to hitting to infield and outfield workouts to catching and throwing workouts. At each field they have shaded bleachers and grassy areas, but be aware of flying baseballs as sometimes one gets away. They have a concession stand in the middle of the 5 practice fields and restroom facilities. The main gate to the main baseball field opens at 11:30 am. and they have plenty of food and drink beverage concession stands. So hard to decide what to try. Oh does it smell soooo good in the ball park and what beautiful grounds they keep. I have to give my THANKS to the volunteers who work at this facility as they were all so friendly and to all the hard workers who make this Sports Complex possible. We had an absolute GREAT time and we both want to come back again next year. Oh and THANK YOU to Mark Grant and Steve Finley for making our day!!!!!

but it needs much more shade. Thankfully, we were able to upgrade to seats that were under a pergola. Without the shade, almost unbearable to be in stadium. Great food choices and very helpful staff.

Nice ballpark, small, but clean. Thought the tickets were pricy, and had a small problem with really large people sitting next to us, but still had an enjoyable time. Again, pricy, but still a fun afternoon.

This facility has great views of the field for Spring Training (baseball). Even the grass area, where you can bring low beach chairs or blankets/towels to sit on, has great views. There are multiple areas to get food and drinks, which all offer plentiful menu items. Two complaints that kept it from getting a five out of five from me: not enough rest rooms; and, not enough shade.

Such a great place to watch baseball during spring. The security process was quick. However don't bring in any juice bottles because they will end up in the garbage.
We also enjoyed viewing the players practicing at the nearby facility earlier in the day.

Our first game of many. Love the ball field and the time we spent here. Lots of food choices and of course a huge beer tent in left field with "Hooter's Girls." Weather was hot but I liked.

No price gouging at this facility. Parking is the standard 5 bucks and I got a 24oz Craft Beer for 8 bucks. Other beer prices fall below that threshold. The park clearly has the most food options as it more closely resembles a food midway at the State fair. Another weird thing I enjoy is when peanut ($4.50) vendors throw you the peanuts and that is exactly how they handle the situation in Peoria.
Other positives were cheap $7 lawn seats and then since my game was at night, you can sit in the better seats and also a very friendly staff was quite helpful. You can't circle the whole park on foot, but mostly good sightlines. Hard not to enjoy yourself.

We attended a Padres game at this stadium, and had a great time. Every seat in the stadium is a good seat! The volunteers were very friendly and we had a great time!

We spent 4 days in Peoria enjoying spring training. One day was at a ball park in Mesa, Az. Peoria sports complex is way better. First the volunteers for parking and for everything else at the ball park were helpful and very friendly. At one game, a man kept coming around making sure we were okay in the heat and encouraging everyone to drink water. Second, the bathrooms had sunscreen dispensers. So if you forgot or if you sweat it all off, no problem. Next, there is a small t-ball sized field that the kids can play on. And play they did. Loose game structure and everyone having fun.
The practice fields for both the Padres and the Mariners are well kept, have seating and some parts have shade!
Down side to the stadium is that most of the seats are in the sun. On the last day, we splurged a bit and sat under the shady part. Higher up but it did make the game more comfortable. Still, being hot isn't a bad trade off for getting so close you can hear the pitcher grunt as he throws the ball.
We will be back!

The ballpark is the spring training home to San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners, located in Peoria, and down the street from a massive mall in Glendale. We wanted to see a night game and this was one of the few options we had and we're glad we made the drive from Scottsdale. Parking is easy, the stadium grounds spacious and food/beer at least 25% cheaper than Scottsdale Stadium. Lots of room for kids to run around and a very pleasant surprise. We'll be back.

This was our first day at spring training and we took our niece and nephew. We had outfield lawn tickets and also sat in bleachers and saw a great game and ate too much good food

The whole area is being turned into an elegant trendy destination. Wide choice of restaurants centered around the ballpark.

nice sports complex…very well maintained
Parking is a little awkward. Some entrances are not well marked

Enjoyed the spring training games that did not cripple my pockets. Exciting, great weather, and excellent fans. Clean comfortable and fairly priced.

Wow! Wow! Wow!! What a great ball park experience! It didn't feel crowded like Tempe Diablo Stadium did. We went for 3 games and sat in different areas for each one. Not a bad seat in the stadium, just a different view. Nice variety of food vendors, all price ranges, and even something for the plant based eaters in the group! A wonderful experience!

We had great seats in Sec 103, Row C. Beautiful afternoon with good friends. The Mariners had a horrible game. Lots of food choices. We all enjoyed the Gyros made to order. Actually, one of the better ones I’ve had. My only complaint other than the Mariners performance was the Team Store. It is small and not enough cashiers. Long lines to pay for items. But overall a fun afternoon.

A visit to AZ in the spring to take in some exhibition baseball had been on my bucket list for many years. I finally had the opportunity to go, and my wife was willing to go with me. I certainly enjoyed the experience. As others have noted, it is a small intimate facility that gets you close to the playing field. I doubt there is a bad seat in the house. There are many food and beverage options, and prices are more reasonable than at MLB stadiums. You don't feel gouged the way you do when you go to AT&T park. Perhaps the biggest surprise to me was that my wife enjoyed herself. She is not a big baseball fan, and she indicated she would be interested in seeing a game again next year, and perhaps even two or three games.
It was a crowd with many seniors. There are not too many stairs to climb. If you are going to a day game, I might suggest that you bring a hat or better yet that you select seats that are a bit farther from the field, ideally on the first base side. These are the first to get shade, and you will be more comfortable. On the day we went temperatures were pushing 85-90°F, and after an inning or two in the sun, you did get rather toasty. The shade that hit us in the fifth inning was most welcome. If I were to go back, I would sacrifice proximity to the field for a longer dose of shade.

I know that they are improving this stadium but please put shade over the seats! It was too hot to enjoy the game. We liked the new Mariner-Padre shop. We appreciate the volunteer golf carts in the parking lots.

For the past 15 years we have been going to Peoria Sports Complex enjoying our visiting SF Giants play Seattle or San Diego. Parking is affordable and easy. They have golf carts to take you from your car to the ticket gates if needed The food is okay and pricey. The seats are excellent and I always get great pictures of my favorite players. It is fun talking with the other fans and seeing the game up close. Many of the seats are in the shad which is important on those hot sunny days. This complex is the most relaxing and easiness of all the baseball complexes. An added bonus is the sunscreen dispensers in the bathrooms.

I am a seasonal transplant (sometimes known as a snowbird). I live in Sun City and the stadium is a 15 minute drive.
Been to stadium many time, to watch spring baseball games and as a volunteer Red Shirter with the Diamond Club. The Spring Baseball is home for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Games are always good and almost affordable (last year highest priced seats $28, beer $7) Many good restaurants within walking distance but the stadium food is affordable and very good (we do the chicken rice bowl).Certain teams will have a larger draw and good seats will be taken quickly (Dodgers,Giants, White Socks)-The sun is not your friend during the day games but sun screen is usually provided in the restrooms. For parking the east parking lot off of Paradise (closest to the outfield seating) doesn't fill as quickly (parking $5)-can always park in neighboring shopping center for free-but parking revenues goes pretty much back to the community and you are closer to the entrances.Spring Baseball is big in the Phoenix area and the stadium is keeping pace with the addition of both seating and restaurants.
Plan to arrive at least 1 hour(earlier if major team is playing) before game time, watch the practices in the adjoining fields, maybe snag a major league baseball, have lunch in the park and enjoy the an up-close game. After the game there is a major shopping center several blocks to the north and COSTCO gas is north on 83rd.

Can't beat the price and it is great to watch the prospects trying to impress the scouts. Also interesting to observe the trial rules like 15 seconds between pitches, 3 minutes between half innings.

This was our second visit to the Peoria ballpark, with seven years in between. They have made many great improvements to the park. The fan experience is still excellent.
The food prices and variety are really good at this park. They have outside vendors all through the park, especially behind the lawn seats in the outfield. They have a great craft beer selection in several places in the park. Their dedication to bringing in outside vendors kept the prices considerably lower than in other parks and the variety is wonderful.
The only warning I would give fans is that there is very little shade at this park even in the seats.
Overall, because all of the cactus league teams travel around, if you want a great experience come watch your team in Peoria.

Very friendly and cozy park. Food selection was great. Has a beer garden that is great to hand out with friends. The selection of craft beers around the stadium was delightful.

Love ambience & big Arrowhead mall so close by. Weather is so perfect this month for strolling. Lotta traffic congestion unfortunatly.

They have updated their scoreboard to the largest scoreboard at a Spring Training facility. They also added a Kid's Zone whiffle ball field which is staffed by very friendly people. The entire complex has volunteers that are dedicated to a great experience for everyone. The complex is very clean and the food selection is very good.

If you want to see next year's MLB rookies today, the AZ Fall League is the place to go. The quality of play is unmatched. Tickets are $8/$6 with free parking at ALL stadiums in AZ. Concessions are limited, but the average crowd is ~500.

Have been here many times. My step son was recently a part of Arrowhead Little League. The park is clean and family friendly. Its a great place for Little Leagues and aspiring kids who love playing baseball.

Overall the stadium and amenities are very nice. All seats offer a good
View of the field. The practice area is intimate and you see the players well. The stadium has a variety of food choices. We recommend Four Peaks craft beer in center field. The peach ale was great. The only problem was the sound system. It was very difficult to hear and understand the announcements. They need to work on the sound.

We came here for the last Cubs game of the season and got really good seats behind home plate in section 102 for under forty bucks. We did a walk around and everything was clean and in great working order. The variety of food was better than most ballparks in the area, especially the individual stations/food trucks located around the park. I was a bit surprised that they were charging five bucks for parking, but the attendant said he had a ticket for parking...I got in free. Very nice folks and a great location.

Some friends and I came out to watch 2017 Arizona Fall League baseball. I have been to this stadium a couple of times previously. During this visit, we noticed that the field does not appear to be in very good shape as the grass is not very green and there are numerous areas where wear is apparent, especially between the dugouts and home plate. The outfield berms are also not very esthetically pleasing due to the large brown spots. Some of these issues are due to the recently completed season.
Our seats in the second level were a bit tight due to the cup holders at the end of each armrest. We stayed in these seats because there is not much shade available. Otherwise, this is very intimate place to watch baseball. The few staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Peoria Sports Complex is easy to find, friendly and courteous staff, great concessions and friendly fans. Parking is easy and p0lentiful.

This was our first visit to Spring Training and as fans of the Seattle Mariners, we spent time here at the Peoria Sports Complex. This is a nice stadium compared to some of the others. Clean stadium. Also, some tips for people who have never been, you can take bottled water in coolers into the park, if the water hasn't been opened. As well, the best time to get autographs from players is at the practice fields. P83 is a nice area. Can't wait to come back.

The parking was free this time! We had to bring our items in a clear bag instead of a tote bag. We could bring in sealed water bottles. We love the atmosphere in this ballpark. Everybody is so friendly. It is fun to see the players signing autographs before the game during Spring Training.

What a terrific way to see some great baseball. Whether its Spring Training or the Arizona Fall League. This sports complex is easy to access and easy to love.

I went here during spring training to see the Cubs play the Padres. It’s a really nice facility. Better than most of the others. Nice sight lines. Good food selections. A great place to see a game.

Compared to Salt River Field, we found the crowd to be more sedate at Peoria, with less food choices and less shade. There was no video big screen in the outfield, making it feel like baseball used to be played. The crowd seemed older, which was fine. All in all, a very clean, comfortable ballpark.

Take me out to the ballgame .. Take me out with the crowd .. Oh what a song it is.
Take me out for a night game at the Peoria Sports Complex here in Peoria, Arizona, on the North and West side of the greater Phoenix Metro Area.
Take me out to see the Oakland Athletics play the Seattle Mariners in a Major League Baseball Spring Training game in the Cactus League.
What fun it all was. How sweet it all was. Great employees at the ballpark. Parking was easy. Security was firm but polite and certainly not draconian. Fun concessions to see as attractions. Very clean restrooms. Friendly fans as well to visit with.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don't care if I never get back.
I loved the Peoria Sports Complex, near 101 Loop Rd and Bell Rd, right here in little old Peoria, Arizona..

This was our second visit to Peoria Sports Complex & won't be our last, It is a very nice facility and conveniently located.
Their are plenty of restroom facilities and amble options for food and drinks. Great value.
My strongest recommendation would be to be SURE to wear a hat, take sunscreen and be aware that most all of the seats are in the sun and it gets pretty darn toasty in Arizona. We were up fairly high along the 3rd base line and our seats did have a little shade (it was 97 degrees that day). I noticed several people carrying spray bottles filled with water for spritzing which is an excellent idea.
Fun place to see and game with friends and family!

We reserve our seats in the shade. The parking is $5.00. We are thrilled with the golf carts that stop by to pick up slow walkers. You can bring in food and sealed water bottles. Some folks enjoy sitting on the grass beyond the outfield.

The sports complex is more than that. There is a small man made lake with fishing. Ramada's and picnic tables. Four dog parks/ two for large dogs two for small. And a summer water feature and pours water over people trying to beat the heat. Close to a circle K

Great beer this year at the ballpark as they have craft beer from several breweries around the valley. Love Dubina Bell rd IPA new this year as well. Good time great place.

We recently went to our first Spring Training to see what all the excitment is all about.
The Peoria Sports Complex is just the right size to see the baseball game. The $5.00 parking lot is well light and easy to get in and get out. It is better to see a night game than to sit in the sun and heat. Our only regret is that we seat in the bleacher and they were hard and made of metal. Very crowarded and you can't sit with your knees straight. The best thing was that I brought was a cushion to seat on. Will pay the extra for a wooden seat with a back and still bring a cushion to sit on. Nice night out with the family.

Fun, great views, close to the field seating are some of the great things that can be said about the Peoria Sports Complex.
Across the street from a mall this stadium has great dining just a few yards away and good concessions inside.
The 2 times we were there (and this next bit is for people who know baseball history) they had two tables just inside the entrance that were full of retired World Series Winners and All-Star Players players like "Rollie Fingers", "Gaylord Perry", "Bert Campaneris" and others that were selling autographed memorabilia (at what I thought were reasonable prices) that would benefit their respective foundations. Most of them were great about letting you take pictures of them some even invited you to take a picture with them.
My family said that I was geeking out because of the names that were sitting there and I think that they were right. I'm not sure if they do this for every game but when we were there, they were there and it seemed like they rotated the players a little bit each game.
We loved it and had a great time and will return the next time we see cactus league baseball.

This is a friendly place to watch Spring Training. Food and drink options are available and there is plenty of parking. Handicap parking is clearly marked and a large group of volunteers guides
You for parking. The field is easy to view and a huge grassy area is available at cheaper prices
in the outfield. There is a nice variety of ballpark food for purchase. Sit in the sun and enjoy a ball game!

This is s nice clean ball park. It was not too crowded on a Friday afternoon. Employees were very friendly . The good was also great.

Got to the game early so we had to wait in line for 1/2 hour or so and being we were near the front we were talking with the employees behind the gates, it sure passed the time. It was also nice that they knew the cities you were talking about because many of them were retirees from your area.
Lots of different food places and amenities for the children this time. Large grassy area out in center field to spread a blanket & watch the game. There is a shaded pavilion but it seems there is usually a private party there so be prepared to be in the sun for the game.

Much like the ball park back home, you really cant go wrong with seating. We went to two games over the weekend and had a blast! The first night we were in the stands about 6 rows back from the 3rd base side. The second day we had lawn seats and enjoyed the Arizona sunshine and watch some great baseball. Can't wait to return!

I would give this place a 5 star but when the guest service people told me they have Gluten free food they are wrong!! We went around the stadium talking to almost all the food vendors and we finally found a place so I could have a bowl of rice!!Just rice nothing on it!!! I love the complex and the Mariners beat the Cubs but I am a celiac and they need to do something about the food!!!!

The complex is large and well laid out. The grass seating is cheap and comfortable! It's great for families so the kids can run and play. But best of all....the home run balls come out that way! Ample parking and good food.

So you must know I am not a super baseball fanatic as my husband. So what I saw when we arrived was a very organized method to help people park efficiently. Line went fast to get in and there was so much help to show us where to go. Everything was clean. The seating was comfortable and in the shade behind home plate.
Food and drinks- well they had many options. There was virtually no waiting. I only wish they had more napkins and more of a box type tray to carry drinks and food. This would make it easier to eat. If you didn’t want to leave your seats they bring around drinks and some food options. Prices were ball park prices.
There was a nice crowd and lots of spirit. This was a wonderful event for a family.
As it thinned out towards the end you could see the birds come down to snack.

We attended and SD Padres game and loved the whole experience. The park is beautiful, and the whole area around it is too. Would be a great place to stay. I liked the wide open concourses and ample food options.

The Peoria Sports Complex is one of the new baseball diamonds in the Spring Training Cactus League. It is well maintained and the prices are reasonable. You can still go a little early for the game and usually the players will sign autographs. The beer and hot dogs are more expensive than they were when the Stadium opened but all prices seem to rise. If you want true economy and sun try the outfield lawn. It is a good way to see the game and the bull pens are right there.
Take me out to the ball game.....

Awesome! There is always something going on here. Not just all sports. Great shops, movie theater, more places to eat...love The breweries. Westgate next door..one of best malls around. Love going to whiskey rose...great food

Went to catch the Giants play the Seattle Mariners....what an outstanding facility! Loved it better than the Giant's ..... it's smaller but great for families, friends, couples, everybody!

I just live about 5 miles from this stadium and catch several spring training games here. I always opt to sit in the lawn area as it affords spectators to spread out, enjoy a ballgame, visit and not be crowded into a seat next to someone you don't know. The lack of shade in the left field lawn area can be a problem but that is something you accept when you opt to sit in the sun. It is also a great place to attend Arizona Fall League games because the kids are in school, not many fans show up and foul balls are for the taking. I have several in my collection of baseballs.

This was our first foray into the Seattle Mariners spring training scene. Nice ballpark, friendly volunteers staff the place, limited food choices inside the park but what is there is pretty good. (What, no sauerkraut for my hot dog?!!!) Plenty of sit down chain restaurants in the P83 area if you want better dining either before or after the game.
A much more relaxed way to catch a ball game -- abundant parking ($5), relatively easy drive -- without the hassle of going to Safeco Field. Can see the players much closer up, easier to take the kids to ask for autographs. Some Hall of Famers will set up tables to offer autographs and memorabilia. Be prepared that the teams will be fielding many players up from AAA, to see how they do, some of whom don't even have names on the back of their jerseys.
The main thing that was missing -- where is The Moose!? How can you hold Kids' Day at a ballpark, without a mascot?!

Spring training is always the very best here in Arizona! Great weather and a fun atmosphere with a good variety of food also. Don't forget to bring your sunscreen and a hat because it does get warm out there in all that sunshine. There are plenty of eating places all around the ballpark for after the game too. Other events go on throughout the year there that my family and I attend as well. Check their calendar of events.

I have looked forward to seeing Spring Training my entire adult life, and finally, I was able to partake. Watching Major League Baseball is a passion of mine, and I was able to see the Seattle Mariners on a gorgeous, sunny pleasant day. This was a real treat. The only downside is we were given tickets behind a railing which was never explained to us. In essence, it was an obstructed view. With a back back and neck, this was problematic. Otherwise, this was a nice experience, the ushers and vendors are extremely friendly, and the seats were reasonably close to the field. One lady was hurt by a foul ball, and the usher in that section continued to bring her ice packs over a couple of innings. If you lake baseball, this is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Great venue for some spring training baseball! Lots of parking ($5 per car for spring training) and lots of food choices.

Recently attended for a ball tournament at mariners practice fields. Classy park with great diamonds, washroom facilities and covered bleachers for spectators. Ample parking adjacent the main sports facility.

Had a great time at a Spring training game. Lots of choices for food and seating. Plenty of parking. Staff and volunteers are great. Kids can run on grassy area and a kids play area. Beautiful weather. Big scoreboard. Give it a try!

Inside this newer stadium there are great site lines and you can sit on the grass in center field. Also lots of places to get snacks and drinks. My fav snack is the bratwurst to be had in center field, awesome. After the game catch a golf cart to Saltys for a few drinks to let the parking lot clear.

We have attended many events held at the Peoria Sports Complex. Everything is planned very well. They have a wonderful 4th of July fireworks display.

Great family oriented park. Stuff for kids to do as well as watch some good baseball. Close to good restaurants and shopping.

Nice complex. Conveniently off the freeway, but the traffic and traffic pattern at game times could use some help.

Watch either the San Diego Padres or the Seattle Mariners Spring Training.
Nice field, and the cheap seats are out on the grass beyond the outfield. If you're lucky, you might even get an autograph from one of the players.
Pretty good food choices. If bad weather, sit on tbe South Side behind the dugout and under the awning. Lots of hotels and restraunts nearby.

The Greater Phoenix Area is my hub during early March, as there is nothing like getting away from Wisconsin's winter weather. This stadium doesn't wow you but has plenty of parking options, friendly and helpful staff, and a number of activities for young children.
I highly recommend berm seating for its relative low cost. Most of what makes Spring Training great is the sunny weather and more intimate access to professional baseball. Berm access gives you the cheapest tickets yet the freedom to peruse the entire complex.

I am a Blue Jays fan and live baseball in general. I normally go to Seattle to take in games there so I cane to see their spring training. The ball field is small compared to Safeco but the people are very friendly and the seats are comfy. Service in food services was slow and very limited choices.

Baseball fans should not miss spring training games on the main field. It's a real treat and ticket prices are reasonable. We sat on the grass slope beyond the outfield walls and had a great view of the field. Bleacher seats run up to $26 per. Grass slope tickets were $11. Plenty of food/drink concessions. On-site parking is $5 which cannot be beat. Concession prices, as might be expected, are expensive.
The field was meticulous and the stadium was easy to traverse. A great experience to see major league teams play for a fraction of the cost to attend a regular season game.
The Peoria Sports Complex has a multitude of fields that are used throughout the day for spring training. One can "get up close and personal" with the players on the other fields. Recommend going early to enjoy the atmosphere. Gates open 2 hours before game time.

Went for a spring training game last week. Very quaint and intimate ballpark. From sitting behind home plate to seeing toddlers in the play lot, this place is for baseball fans and families alike.

We went to two stadiums at spring training and this was one of them. I much preferred this stadium over the other one that we went to. It was much easier to get out of this stadium after the game. The food selection was much better at this stadium than some of the others. I had the Gyro and funnel cake, and both were great! I did not expect to get Gyro at a stadium. We would definitely return!

A bit of a drive for many, but well worth it. Padres and Mariners share the facility. Have watched many games and always had a good experience. Parking is close and a bargain at $5.00. Plenty of vendors offering a variety of food and drinks. Again, prices are a bargain compared to other Cactus League parks. The staff is awesome, from the parking lot to the field to the concessions.

We went to see the Texas Rangers play a spring training game. Parking was $5 and efficient. A shuttle was available to take you from the parking lot to the gate. We didn't have tickets, so we bought lawn tickets for $11 each. The stands were really nice. Plenty of food and drink choices were available. There were plenty of baseball activities for all ages. They even had a water area for the little ones. To sit on the lawn, just bring a blanket or beach towel and lots of sunscreen.

Three teams claim this facility as home for the summer and it's free. You can just walk in and take a seat. Games start at 7pm. If the lights are on, there's a game to watch.

Great park. Clean fields. Clean bathrooms. The staff at the complex are very nice. It's is located in a nice part of town. There is a lot to do there.

Great venue. Had a great time watching spring training! Offered a lot of different food and drink items for purchase. Prices were reasonable

Very nice ballpark. Close to our house and easy to park, get in and out. Nice clean facility and good concessions as well. While not as upscale as some of the newer Spring Training facilities, it is a great place to catch a game and plenty of restaurants on 83rd ave in front of the park. Can't go wrong by attending a game here.

Visited this spring training facility for a game and it was great. We got lawn seats for $10 that day which I thought was odd as they were $8 online when I checked a few days earlier. Maybe it was because we went to the SD vs LAA game and we had prime seats watching Mike Trout at work in center field. There are alot of food vendors both inside and out but you are allowed to bring in your own food & water which is great for families. There is a separate parking location for those sitting in the lawn section, so you don't have to park near the front and walk all the way around. There is also "Autograph Alley" at the end of the first base side before lawn seating, a gate where all the players from both teams walk out to the game. Most of them stopped to sign balls, hats, etc. There is also a bridge above that you can take some great photos of players. Overall a great location to watch a game. Also important for us was that this location allows umbrellas, they have to be certain size but a lot of other stadiums don't allow them, so that was a big plus as it can be very hot at a 1:10 game regardless of the breeze. Would definitely come back!

Home of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres, the Peoria Sports Complex is a great place to take in a spring training game. Ample Parkin, lots of food and drink options. There is even a small water play area for the little ones.
If possible on hot days try and get seating under the overhang in the shade, otherwise drink lots of water and don't forget a hat and your sunscreen.

Spent the past week watching three Mariners games. The stadium is very clean and comfortable. There is not a bad seat in the house! I paid for good tickets but could just as easily purchased less expensive tickets in the outfield and been just as comfortable! Recommend parking near the outfield entrance. There was less traffic and easier to get in and out.

We enjoyed the pavilion lunch, beverages and seating for a Padre game! Beautiful day and nice facility.

Home of the Mariners and Padres with lots and lots of food options and adult beverages. Lots of things to do for the younger kids and $8 outfield tickets. Don't miss Spring Training here in Peoria. Right off of the 101 and very easy to get to.

There is nothing to dislike about this complex. You can watch triple A and double A practice, walk around different fields and watch different practices. Games in the main complex are great. Seats are really good and you can really see the players and actually wave cuz they are so close. Sometimes get an autograph but I didn't get that lucky. Hopefully we will make this a yearly trip!!!

Attended a spring training game and I really appreciated the complex. There were good viewing seats with plenty of shade available, the choice of food was very good and the women restrooms had sufficient stalls. I liked that you can bring in your own food. We had a good experience and will return.

One of the best Spring training camps for the area. Staff and volunteers were helpful and willing to do their best to make an enjoyable experience. Needed some shade in the afternoon. Food was good ballpark food!

Beautiful park to catch a baseball game! Parking is $5 but easy and if you'd rather eat or drink in the P83 neighborhood, just park at a bar/restaurant and walk over to the game for free! Lawn seats are some of the cheapest in the valley @$12 this year.

Attending for the Arizona Fall Classic Tournament! The complex is huge, fields are nice and well maintained. Plenty of parking for this event!

My wife and I take a trip to Arizona for Spring Training every March. The Peoria Complex is home to the Mariners and the Padres. Great Stadium. Enjoy the Baseball and the Sun.

Friendly as can be are the volunteer staff. Parking is only $5. The cold ones are just that "Cold Ones" Lawn seats are only $8 and there are plenty of beer booths and tents set up around the entire facility to sit back and relax. There is plenty of food vendors and choices along with some free swag if you know where to look. Chances are it's gonna be in the 70's to 80's and definitely NOT covered or hampered by snow. They do have night games on Thursdays.

We always come to this stadium when we're in town for Spring Training. It is conveniently situated, the concessions stands are easy to reach, the restrooms are always clean. Always a bargain to come out to the ball game!

Came down with my best friend for the first time, this is a great little stadium. Basically like watching at a AAA stadium. Good food, good view. Parking is cheap which is nice, money from the programs and scorecards go to local schools.

From the RV shows to the baseball games to the 4th of July celebration Peoria Sports Complex does it right.

Nothing like spring training and trying to sort out the talent, or lack of it, that the Mariners will be sending out on the field. Those of us in the Pacific Northwest esp. love spring training as a respite from the cold and rain we've just endured over the winter. This year, sadly, Cactus League play only lasted a short while before the pandemic shut things down. We were fortunate enough to enjoy a few games at Peoria before they pulled the plug. It had been a few years since our last visit and we really were impressed by the remodel, which seemed to include more commons areas for viewing the games, better seating, and just a more expansive feeling. We really liked being able to walk over from our hotel any time of day and watch workouts as well as games. The team store is fun, but the last 2 times I've visited, I'm jealous that the San Diego Padres have much more interesting attire than the M's. Anyway, we enjoyed the dining venues (except for the prices have gone up) at the park and the truly friendly vibe. We also liked that a seat at this ballpark is less expensive than many of the spring training venues. Seems to be plenty of parking and lots of nearby places to dine & shop before and after a game. Hope to visit again a few years.

Okay. We've seen a few ballparks during spring training, and Peoria Sports Complex is in the middle of the pack. Definitely a great place for baseball, but it could use more shaded seats. The roofing it has doesn't block all the sunlight, and the roof creates a bit of a zebra effect on the crowd. You might have a band of sunlight on your head or neck or back, and it varies during the game. Not a big issue, but other parks have solid shade areas. Another consideration is the heavy traffic and occasional roadwork on Bell Road, which is the primary access for getting to the stadium. Plan to get there at least an hour before game time.

We watched the Mariners play during a mid-week Spring Training gare. Sat in the lawn, paid $10 per ticket and LOVED IT! Everyone in the park were really great and friendly. Kids loved the water feature/play area!

Being a mariners fan this place was great. Personally found entrance price a bit spendthrift and we just sat up in the grass. Plenty of other activities to do in there especially for kids like small water place to play and a small ball field.

An enjoyable family complex wth a great chance to see pre season games, see fireworks, and enjoy special family food trucks' competitions. Just make sure you sit with your back to the sun, as there is little shade available.

So much to see, every seat is a great seat, lots to eat, excellent sound and tech systems and everyone is so kind!

Mariners and Padres Spring Training field! Beautiful ball park and great food. Don't forget you sunscreen, but if you do, not to worry, the Cancer Society has dispensers in the restrooms! Love it.

This place is the bomb. It's kid friendly and the prices are reasonable. I definitely like this venue. Would recommend taking the entire family to enjoy a spring training game. Terrific experience.

Nice, clean facility with plenty of parking to take in a spring training game. Have been here several times and it's always enjoyable

They have been remodeling this ballpark and have more plans for 2016. The biggest drawback is that the sun during afternoon games is squarely on your back if you sit behind home plate. And, the seats get very heated...so bring a towel or extra water to mitigate that.

I have always been the geeky girl that loves baseball so I was excited when my friends wanted to go to Spring Training with me this year. We chose three stadiums and Peoria Sports Complex was one of them since we are from San Diego and came to root for our Padres. One of the girls was a Cubs fan (great team) so she was excited that the Padres were playing the Cubs the day we chose to go.
Peoria Sports Complex was absolutely beautiful. I love the small, intimate feeling of the Spring Training ballparks. I was able to get really close to players on both teams and take some incredible pictures. You won't ever get to do this in an MLB stadium.
Peoria definitely gets the win for best food at any of the ballparks we visited. I was especially excited about BBQ pork nachos, extra big corn dogs and spiked vodka lemonade (it was FABULOUS on a hot day). YUM.
The ballpark itself was gorgeous and our seats right by the visitor dugout were incredible. We met some really hilarious, fun Arizona baseball fans (rooting for the Cubs) and had the time of our lives. Such an overall GREAT day in Peoria. I honestly think I need to do this every year...so much fun. Can't wait to come back next year!

I have attended spring training there. Great seats, volunteers are very nice. Concessions "so so". Very slow and a little pricey but a nice venue overall

The stadium is smaller than in the regular season, therefore fans are much closer to the play action. They also have entertaining activities between innings.

A great way to enjoy the sunshine and atmosphere of spring training in a smaller stadium. Tickets are realitively inexpensive and if you don't like sitting in on the hill, choose near the dugout for a great experiencee.

The Peoria Sports Complex is the home of the Padres and Mariners Cactus League teams. It is a beautiful park with a great atmosphere. We sat on the lawn and saw several homers hit our way. What a blast!

Nice facility but definitely lacking some of the extras at the newer Spring Training ballparks in AZ. There's very little shade during a day game and the food options were a bit disappointing.
On the positive, the beer selection was better than most ballparks and the staff was very friendly.
Oh, and what's with the $5 parking charge?! First AZ site where we had to pay for parking. Disappointing.

Been to this park for the AZ Fall League games and spring trading it's in a good location P83 and has plenty of places within walking distance to the ball park. You can grab a beer and some good eats before you head to the ball park and there is hotels near the park. Easy access to the park and it's a nice place to watch the games they have upgraded many areas of the park. Not a real lot of shade like salt river fields. But all Baseball junkies like to have a place for a few drinks and eats before and after the games and this location fits the bill . And the ball park has some good eats and good service. So to me it's the best on the west side by far.

The game ended in a tie feeling. The stadium and the game and that food and the workers were perfect! Seeing the players apple close, professional team in a minor-league setting but a first class field

Great fun watching games and enjoying baseball! The stadium is so intimate and there are no bad seats. If you want shade sit on the club level. It's not fully shaded but it has a slated roof for some shade. Food is not good in the concession stands-my big disappointment. But you can buy from the food trailers out in the concourse and their food is great! All in all a super great weekend of baseball and fun!

Great Ballpark, Spring training is a blast here. Good location, good seats, reasonable prices for the seats. Good food. Nice facility overall.

You can't beat fun at the ol' ball game. This is one of the best parks in the valley. Take the kids, sit on the grass, and enjoy the day.

With all the new improvements this is a fantastic place to watch a ball game, especially if you are a Padre fan! Sprint training is so much fun with lots of good food choices as well. You can sit in the stands or bring your blanket and enjoy the lawn.
We have many base ball fields in the Phoenix area that are host to the 15 professional teams. Yesterday as an example, the Chicago Cubs played the Kansas City Royals. This is all part of what is called the Cactus League, while those training in Florida represent the Grapefruit League. They are first class ballparks with all the amenities you could want. Plenty of food available and many His/Her bathrooms. We are enjoying some record breaking weather right now as it was 97 yesterday. Come on out and enjoy the Facilities and folks waiting to help you. Batter Up !!
