Fantastic old theatre, beautifully restored. Had a wonderful tour done by the pleasant, friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Thanks for having us!

The beautifully restored Perot Theater in downtown Texarkana is one of the diamonds of the Ark-La-Tex!.
Attractions, shows, and concerts for every age level are available to folks in the Four States Area.
Make new memories with friends or family when your favorite personalities or tributes are on , such as "1964 The Tribute" slated for Friday, March 11,2016. which Rolling Stone magazine cites as the "Best Beatles Tribute on Earth" !
Children's entertainment to golden oldies revivals makes an afternoon really special or an evening re-living the past through great melodies or plays.
Make it a heart-warming new experience for the kids, or your special "other".
Merely a tour of the refurbished theater is a joy to experience.!

We went to a production of On Golden Pond. We live in the same television market and have been hearing about the Perot Theater for a long time. We always said we wanted to go, but never did it. It is a beautiful building. If you are familiar to the Strand in Shreveport, they are similar. Both are restored theaters from the 20's or 30's. This one is a little smaller that the Strand, but the seats are larger and you have more knee room. The volunteers are all great. You need to go if you have an opportunity. You want be sorry you did.

Enjoyed the show but not the rude ushers. Might want to work with them on customer service. Music was great and facility was top notch.

I was a child when I attended my first concert at the Perot Theatre. I remember being bewitched by the baroque and ornate architecture and the overall smoothness of the event. Decades later, after many visits, the Perot Theatre still continues to offer this first-rate theatre experience.

The staff is courteous and will readily aid you in finding your seats and other facilities. The staff will even give you a tour of the theatre should you ask. The seating is very comfortable with plenty of legroom. Nothing is worse than having your theatre-going experience marred by uncomfortable seating or unaccommodating staff. You will not have to worry about these aspects here.

The actual theatre experience is truly marvelous. Every single performance I have watched has gone off without a hitch. I have never encountered problems as far as their sound system is concerned. I have been to many theatres, but I can say, without a doubt, the Perot is my favorite theatre experience. The comfort and simplicity of the theatre add so much to the performance. I highly recommend anyone take a tour of the theatre or go see a performance. This is truly an experience that is not to be missed!

Beautiful architecture that takes your breath away. My favorite part was the ceiling. It was so mesmerizing. I could have looked at it all day.

The Perot Theater is a beautiful example of theaters of the 1920s. It contains many artifacts and reminders from the past, which give the building a very interesting history. The employees are very knowledgeable about the buildings history and architecture and were able to answer all of my questions. I love hearing about how the theater was built during the golden age of theater, later turned into a Paramount movie theater and finally restored to its original glory. I had a great experience and believe this is a must see in Texarkana!

Great venue to attend a show or event sponsored by TRAHC. Old theater is restored to its past era of elegance.

An excellent restoration. We were just doing a walking tour and walked into the box office. We were given an excellent tour of the theater and a history of the building. We are only sorry no performance is scheduled during our stay.

Been visiting the Perot with my family for over 30 years! It's just beautiful! We've enjoyed everything from magicians to musicals and ballets! If you are able you should definitely find a way to make it there! I plan to share the experience with my children as well!

We love visiting here for the variety of shows.
Very clean and has friendly and professional staff.
It is a great piece of Texarkana history.

We were in town visiting family and ate lunch next door to the theater, our host suggested that we go and see if we could look inside. The box office was open and the staff gave us a great tour through out the theater and discussed the history as well as the restoration. It is a grand old theater, magnificently restored and I'm sure would be a great place to see a performance

The main tourist attractions are located downtown. The area is easy to get to, as you just drive south on Stateline Avenue. On the east side of the street is Arkansas. On the west side is Texas.

Near 4th and Pine streets, is the Perot Theatre. It was originally the Saenger Theatre. Ross Perot, the multi-millionaire who ran for president in 1992 and 1996, paid to refurbish the theatre in 1980. It was then renamed the Perot Theatre, in honor of his parents. The Perots were Texarkana, AR, natives.

The theatre hosts musicals, symphonies and concerts. BB King was there a few days before my trip there.

A small statue sits on the second level of the Perot in honor of Ross' brother, Gabriel. He died at age three.

The theatre was once a movie house. During the days of segregation, whites and African-Americans had different entrances, restrooms and seating areas. The African-Americans had to sit in the balcony area.

The film room still sands in the theatre. Our guide said it would be too expensive to remove it.

An interesting note is that across the street from the Perot Theatre is a half-block long mural of the great composer Scott Joplin. Joplin, a native of the area, was known for his ragtime music. My colleague and I wondered if Joplin would have been allowed to perform at the Saenger when it was segregated. Our guess is he couldn't have.

Texarkana's Perot Theater was part of the Sanger Theater chain that had theaters throughout the South dating back to the 1920's. This jewel of a theater has been beautifully restored to that period.

It was wonderful to be able to recently attend a Pops Concert in Remembrance and Thanksgiving by the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra which featured the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra as well as Chorus and Dramatic Readers with patriotic selections in a salute to America's veterans. This very well done Patriotic Celebration had special meaning to me since both of my parents were World War II Veterans.

Finally, I just want to mention that as an ex-New Yorker who had season tickets to the Philharmonic over the years, Texarkana's Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the Marc-Andre Bougie, provides world class entertainment to those fortunate enough to be able to attend!

The Perot Theatre began in 1924 as the Saenger Theatre. It has hosted plays, musicals, local and national artists, and almost every ballet recital in Texarkana. It fell into disrepair in the 1970's but the city and townspeople began raising monies to restore her to her former glory. The Perot family had lived in the area and donated half of the money needed, thus the name change. The plaster and gilt work are breathtaking, the acoustics amazing, and historical photos inspiring. If you are going to be in the area, it is well work booking a tour or better yet, attending a concert there.

Beautiful, ornate, old theatre with lots of history. Named for Texarkana native Ross Perot and his sister. We enjoyed the tour.

Completely Restored Theater. Ross "Perot" Theater is home to hundreds of plays, events, and concerts. The historic theater is beautiful. Downtown Texarkana has a few restaurants in walking distance and is a safe area.

Please visit downtown texarkana and have fun.The beautiful restored Perot Theatre, located in downtown Texarkana at 3rd and Main St, has been a landmark since 1924 when it opened as the Saenger Amusement Company's "Gateway to the West" theatre.
Fully restored by the City of Texarkana, TX in 1979-80, the building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Native son H. Ross Perot, through the Perot Foundation, contributed much of the restoration costs in memory of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gabriel Ross Perot.
In recognition of this contribution, the Texarkana, TX City Council renamed the building - The Perot Theatre. The theatre annually hosts the Perot Theatre Series, as well as numerous rentals throughout the year. The Perot Theatre is owned by the City of Texarkana, TX and the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council is contracted to program and manage the theatre.

A beautiful fully restored theatre, unexpected in a town as small as Texarkana. A must see if you are visiting from out of town or local. They give free tours, that are very informative and interesting. Make sure you check to see if any shows are going on and get tickets, you will not be disappointed.

By jeneeclayton |

Each year our daughter's dance recital is performed at the Perot. It is a beautiful theatre!!!! Comfortable seating. I'm a stage mom, so being backstage a lot, I get to see exactly what the theatre is made of. It is beautiful all around!!!

By Luv2Trvl94511 |

Have been attending shows at the Perot for 30+ years. I'll be forever grateful to my parents for bringing me to all of the shows through TRACH season after season. These old, gorgeous theaters are becoming scarce. I pray this beauty remains. Now that my little girl is old enough, I cannot wait for her to see her first ballet here!

By yvonne h |

This is really a beautiful theater, i have been to Broad Way and London's east end, and this is up there with them. The shows and and performances they book are very good, some can be a little over prices. Love the Christmas shows they put on (nut cracker)

By jjuanita41 |

We wanted to see inside. Went to the ticket office and ask if that was possible. Tourism is pretty much over. They were more than happy to give us a tour. Very nice, friendly people. I can't do many steps so we stayed downstairs but the history of the upper level was quite interesting. We could see it from the floor level. Beautiful theatre. Perot and his sister donated the money that was needed to finish the renovations. They matched the original building as closely as possible. The ticket windows in the lobby are original and there is an indentation in the floor tiles where many years of feet have stood to buy tickets. They were so appreciative of us stopping to see it. Must see if you are in the area. Don't be turned off by the derelict buildings downtown. There are things to see and do and couldn't ask for nicer people. The theatre is being used today for concerts, etc.

I have attended several events at the Perot Theatre & always find the venure to be clean, well-maintained and comfortable. There are no "bad" seats to watch any performance there. The theater is just beautful!

By Mark C |

Took a tour of this beautiful old theater in Texarkana and was blown away by the meticulous care and love that has been put into returning this theater to its former glory. The story of how it opened in 1924 and was saved from abandonment by the Perot family in the 70's is an amazing story. The carpets are from the original weavers in London. The gold leaf has been completely restored and gleams in the spotlight. The box office has its original floor. It's a step back to a different time and place and I'm now looking for an event to come and see the theater in all its glory. A definite "must see" if visiting Texarkana.

By DDJacks |

We really enjoyed touring this restored historic theatre. So many from this era have been torn down, so it is wonderful that the people of Texarkana and the Perot family went to the expense and effort to restore this one to it's former splendor. The tour was very informative and knew a lot about the history of the theatre and the restoration process. Children would probably not find this tour very interesting, so I would recommend for adults only. The tour was free, but we made a donation to help with upkeep of this historic gem.

By David J |

What a magnificent venue. This is a treasure from an earlier age and we really enjoyed the music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s (in reverse order) performed by the very talented and versatile cast. Bathrooms are inadequate and this would be a problem if there were more people.

By Philip Derouen |

At this wonderful place, Texas A&M University-Texarkana had its Graduation ceremony there. The beautiful scenery inside as well as it's architecture is what makes this place stand out from others! The first time I ever went I was in shock as how beautiful this place was!

By TimSpellman |

This place is great for shows saw B.B. King there earlier this year and it was a great show. I really love the beautiful design of early to mid 1900's architecture. A must stop for people who like such things.

By solutions1122 |

After seeing Broadway, Schubert Theatre (Los Angeles) and productions in London and Rome ... The Perot offers the same, if not better, incredible detail. Gold-inlaid walls,
theatre style upholstery, old-time mosaic tile ... wonderful acoustics!

By mmf40 |

This is a restored historical theatre of Texarkana's hay days, maybe even nicer. Thanks to Ross Perot, a native son of Texarkana, and a valiant community effort this theatre is a lovely surprise to first time visitors. The theatre has been beautifully restored ito its original Itallian Renaissance design, with intricate gold gilded desigsn all around the facia of the theatre. We've enjoy many great shows, traveling productions of Broadway hits, ballet companys, even great musicians such as Chris Botti and Winton Marsalis, thanks to our regional arts council. We are fortunate to call this beautiful theatre home for our community's cultural events.

By PaulD5850 |

Our church senior adult group toured The Perot as part of a recent day trip to Texarkana. The Perot reminded me of some of the beautiful concert houses of Europe. David Murphy was an excellent tour guide and helped us plan our excursion for the day.

By Craig M |

The theater is old world classic! Texarkana is very fortunate to have such a facility. Also the staff is excellent.

This theater is amazing, the detail, the performances, and the history. If you are visiting Texarkana this is a must visit sight!!!

There's no better place to spend an evening in Texarkana than the Perot Theater! Montana Repertory's performance of "On Golden Pond" presented us with an unforgettable theater experience. It's conveniently located next door to Pecan Point Gastropub which makes it perfect for dinner and a show.

By Debra C |

Have been here several times. The place is beautiful and not too big. They have a nice variety of shows there to choose from. Although Ialways buy my tickets on advance U always purchase mine in advance to insure I get good seats.

By rehop |

This theatre is breathtaking with the plaster and gold leaf details. Everywhere you look there is architectural details that will amaze you. It takes you back in time to the old theatres. It is definitely a sight to behold.

By Heath C |

I have attended many shows for many years. I've always been pleased and would recommend for anyone to see a show. If you are a tourist, please make sure you see one of our finest attractions.

By westrain |

A great restoration with substantial help from Perot family in honor of their mother. Beautiful art, interior design and saving a historic theatre is priceless. Too bad the city did not save the historic organ originally and now faces a million dollar estimate to restore the stored organ due to installing air conditioning in many ducts that formerly housed original organ pipes. A fund drive is underway to raise the necessary funding for the organ, a very worthy cause and every donation will help fulfill their goal.
Take a tour of the theatre and savor the restoration and history of its past, a crown jewel of Texarkana and wonderful active spirit still alive for all!

By Friday_Wyrd |

Most of the classic theaters I have toured from the early 1900s were Egyptian Revival or Egyptian Art Deco, but this amazingly restored theater that opened in 1924 is in the Italian Renaissance style. Beautiful gold leafing, relief plaster, Greek Deities and historical displays in glass cabinets upstairs. An amazing Broadway class theater is a hidden gem of the south!

By drfry75 |

A fine place for fine arts. It is a quintessential experience for such a small town to have such a place for concerts , symphonies, plays and other fine art viewing. Turn of century stuff in a small package.

By Ashley |

the perot theate is beautiful inside. Its original architecture is amazing. The first time I ever went to the Perot was to see the nutcracker ballot at Christmas. I also worked there as a theatre arts student at Pleasant Grove High School. It was a requirement for the class, but I got to see more of the behind the curtain beauty while I was there. Now I like to take my children to enjoy a show there every now and then.

During an overnight stop in Texarkana, we made our way downtown and stumbled upon this beautiful old theater. We stopped at the box office and asked if we could possibly see the theater. We were given a first rate tour, complete with history, views from the stage and mezzanine, and a list of performances. The theater was restored with $$ from the Perot family and would be a wonderful venue for live performances. We wished our stop in Texarkana included a night at this theater.

By Evey M |

I came to watch the Nutcracker with my family, and everything was so nice! Nice facility, nice workers, and nice performance!

By 566terryn |

I’ve been to Perot many times over the years. The Perot is a focal point of Texarkana with it’s ornate architecture. Great care has been given to this historical building so that all may enjoy it. The Perot has been home to musicals, plays, Queen contests and many performing arts. It has been one of the greatest assets to the community.

By Richard R |

This old building has been restored to it's original glamour and a real asset to the city. Such a great place to hold events and the joy of seeing a place like this being saved.

I was not able to find answers to my questions regarding online tickets.
does the system offer email tickets?
You asked for mailing address
Billing address but I was not certain if I would have gotten the tickets for a weekend show on time.
I will try to go to the ticket counter even though the hours were for Mon thur Friday.
I will update if we can, in fairness.

This review is only for the process of ordering tickets online.

Beautifully restored theatre and a must see if you are in Texarkana. Check out upcoming shows at trahc.org/perot-theatre.

By swawd |

A beautiful theatre with a lot of history! Plan to see on of the shows if you can. A must see for your trip.

By BSA49 |

My friend and I were passing through Texarkana and stopped by the theater on a whim. We are both volunteer ushers in our home town and know a few wonderful theaters. This is one more! Mr. Murphy graciously provided us with a history of the theater and a tour. Too bad we couldn't stay for the symphony the following weekend.

By edmonddergen |

This is a former movie theatre and vaudville house. H. Ross Perot sat in this theatre watching movies in the summer when he was a kid. Not too long ago he saw to its complete and beautiful refurbishment. It is a first class theatrical venue. Built with a proscenium stage and apron, a complete fly space and a full orchastra pit, it is entirely set up for modern lighting, electrical and sound systems. But, it still retains that massively ornate quality found only in the very finest live performance venues. Acoustics in the hall are outstanding. The Perot would easily be appropriate for "Phanton of the Opera."

In the 2013-14 season, the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council will present nine shows, including popular music concerts, dramas, a Russian ballet and two Broadway musical road companies; everything from the Vienna Boys Choir to "A Christmas Carole." In addition, the very fine Texarkana Symphony Orchastra will preseent five classical and "pops" concerts.

The theatre regularly supports many other performers and performances during the year. The Perot may draw patrons from a potential market; anything in a radius of between seventy to a hundred miles of Texarkana.

By plamer |

The place is beautiful and not too big. We spent $199 and drove 3 hours for Rodney Carrington. At this wonderful place, Texas A&M University-Texarkana had its Graduation ceremony there.

By Aubrey H |

This theater is gorgeous! Built in the 30's with beautiful gold and blue color scheme! It transports you back to a time of live shows and ballets! It's such a fun experience whether it's a concert, musical, play or ballet the Perot is a great place for entertainment!!!

I first saw the Perot Theater as a teenager when it was a movie theatre. It was great then but oh you must see it now! It is a majestic theatre, restored beautifully. It is worth your effort to see it. Dress up, take your family, and feel special! It is a fabulous venue.

By jerry h |

A fabulous restoration of an historic movie theater and well worth a visit. Many name stars are booked into what was once called the Paramount in OUR earlier years. We always love the many choices we have there. J&J

By Coryography |

I have performed many times on this stage. A wide variety of shows come through. However it is worrh going to this buidling for the architecture and artistic beauty that is the ceilings and make up of this historic place. I reccomend seeing a dance troupe or professional company if going for the first time.

By Janelle |

It feels like stepping back in time to the golden age of theater. It is beautiful! I also love the display cases in the foyer showing items connected to the history of the theater.

By S T |

It is very pretty and the sound is great. The seats are a bit small and the bathroom situation could use some work. Very beautiful but could use some upgrades.

By Ellis3752 |

The beautiful neo-classical opera house has been totally refurbished and is an absolute jewel in the crown of the local arts offerings. This is a gorgeous setting for many traveling Broadway shows, international ballet companies, operas, and the local Texarkana Symphony Orchestra. A must-see if you are in the area, even if there are no shows. The tours can be arranged by going to the box office attached to the theater.

By Mike M |

We walked in off the street to receive a personal full guided tour of this magnificent old theatre. The staff dropped what they were doing to give us a free, very informative and passionate tour of this beautifully restored building. The enthusiasm shown by the staff and the historical knowledge which was relayed to us was of a very high standard. You cannot go to Texarkana or nearby without this theatre on your agenda, made special by our guide. If you were lucky enough to be in town during a performance (and they sound many and varied) then this would be a huge bonus.

By Kelly O |

Formerly the Saenger Theater, built in 1924, this magnificent historic venue is beautiful and functional. The theater is fully refurbished and comfortable but keeps the original design and decor themes. The Perot hosts concerts, off broadway shows, ballets, and other productions. The Perot is one of the highlights of Texarkana.

By LarryTexarkana |

If you are in town, they have tours on Tuesday - Between grants and a large Ross Perot donation, this theater is something to see- wedge wood title, carpeting from England etc.

By BuffWingzzz |

First time visitor to the border cities. Was told by locals that one had to visit the Perot theater (and post office). Glad I did. The box office offered a tour of the splendid old theater. Reminded me of the one room theater in my hometown with pipe organ.
Staff was knowledgeable and didn't try to minimize history with respect to the separate entrance/seating/concessions, etc. Thanks

By Mary P |

While on a recent weekend trip to the Texarkana area, a tour of the Perot Theater was included on our agenda....what a magical surprise to find such a beautiful, lovingly restored old theater. The attention to detail in the restoration was amazing and definitely a testament to the term "they don't make them like they used to". Our guide was passionate about his subject which made the sights and the sounds of the history of the building almost come alive.

By cmeloy60 |

My wife and I attended a concert in the Perot Theatre a couple of years ago. I was surprised by how good the sound system was without blowing your eardrums out and still understand every word. I really enjoyed myself and would attend another concert, paid function here again.

By bwgoesl |

This is the most beautiful Historical venue in the 4-States Area! The production was very well done and at times it was hard to believe this was a small town community ballet troupe that only does one show per year. This was a very enjoyable experience!
There are free tours of the Perot Theatre available daily except Sundays.

By Meme Newson |

I really enjoyed the show it self but the staff was very rude ... I am definitely willing to travel to another state before I come back here......

By Dwight C |

This was our first time at the Perot Theater and it turn out great. We saw the Million Dollar Quartet. The theater has been refurbished and is a greatplace to see a show.

By mirandalola |

The theatre is gorgeous. I wish I could go to it more often. I gladly would, but the management enforces a stupid rule that any performances directed at a school-age audience must not be attended by any children that are older or younger than the targeted age range. So, when I try to take my 3rd-grader, kindergartner, preschooler, and baby to a 3rd-grade show, I'm turned away at the door, even though I already bought tickets online.
Interestingly, they allow babies and children at their higher-cost general-audience productions, as long as you buy a ticket for each one of them, regardless of whether the 2-month-old baby will actually be sitting in a seat!

By Dick W. Pirkey, Jr |

Went to see the new digital version on it's first release and the theater is a beautiful restored old theater I went to as a teenager for movies. H. Ross Perot donated millions for it restoration and it is a sight to se.

By LuL |

Anytime you can get the box seats go for it! The Box seats are a lot more spacious and there are typically 4 seats in each box. The angle is a little different viewing everything but the room that you get is worth the trade. Beautiful decor and excellent venue. Brings back a feel of the 50's / 60's. The stairways are a little narrow so be careful if going up or down them.

By Laurie H |

We enjoyed a private tour this morning. Our tour guide shared many historical facts about the theatre, and some quirky tidbits. We were in awe of the beautiful interior that has been lovingly restored & maintained. Stairs are included in the tour to reach the balcony level. We have to come back for a performance. This theatre is a beautiful grande dame. We hope you enjoy her elegant beauty as much as we do. Enjoy!

By Jenifer L |

The trip to the Perot Theatre was wonderful - great history and architecture! Truly cannot wait to see what more shows they put on !

By Antoinette P |

A great show, the musicians and conductor gave a fantastic performance. The seats were only three rows back from the stage, a new experience for us and totally amazing to see the intensity of the musicians as they became engrossed in the music.

By SupernovaEyes |

After visiting the other few sights in Texarkana, Texas, this is by far the most fantastic thing that we have done in the area so far. We went to the Perot Theatre to see the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra play a Thanksgiving concert. It was phenomenal. For being such an old theater the music really sounded fantastic in this old structure. If you can go online and find a concert or a play of some kind to see in this theater, I would most definitely recommend it. I would also definitely recommend seeing the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra as well. My only complaint would be the fact that the seats are somewhat close together, so when you make your reservations for seats online, try to get your seats that are not close to other people. Some older, rude women behind us would not stop talking near the end of the performance. The funny thing about that was the fact that one of the ladies was actually IN the orchestra for the first half of the performance (we could hear her say that she wasn't in the second half) and then she hummed and sang and talked through almost the entire second half. I could not believe how rude she was to have been in the first half of the performance and then sat behind people who PAID to see the orchestra and she talked during almost the entire thing. My boyfriend finally had to give her the death stare because she was not going to stop. OTHER than the fact that woman was there and had no sense of common courtosy for other paying patrons, the Theater itself was a must-see if you are interested in theatre and good music. I definitely recommend this place for other visitors, or even locals, to make sure they see at least once.

By frontierman1969 |

Several types of events are held at the Perot. It is a very elegant music stage where concerts and symphony music is played. Excellent seating, nice balcony, and bathrooms are very well kept.

By Robert S |

A great facility that will take you back in time. Very well restored with great AC and seating. A wonderful venue to watch local talent or top entertainers.

By Heather H |

We spent $200 and drove 3 hours for Rodney Carrington. Worst experience! We had box seats and could not understand one word out of the man's mouth. After reporting this to the staff during the 1st act, we were told they are working on it. So Rodney comes out- we still can't hear anything. I speak with a lady named Tiffany. She was so rude and hateful that I asked to speak to a manager. She said she was the manager. I asked for a refund- she said no. We asked for other seats- but it was sold out. After I said we would just leave, this woman has the nerve to say 'have a nice trip home" with the rudest look on her face. I swear if she is management- she should be fired!
I have sent the theater 3 emails asking them to make this right and I haven't heard one word! So in short- don't waste your time or money going here for any event. He was in Oklahoma the next night- that is what we should have done!

By Charlotte N |

The Perot Theatre is such a wonderful place to visit. The productions are always spectacular! The staff and crew always work very hard to present amazing shows.

By Penny F |

It has been beautifully restored to its original beauty. The details are wonderful. The staff is friendly and full of details. We had a great tour.

By Mel K |

Texarkana TX/AR is 1 of only 2 cities in the US with a state line running thru the middle of the city. 2-city govts, 2-Fed courts, 2 of everything ! ! Part of the old South in culture, the cities feature a remarkably-restored opera house / movie -- the Perot Theater -- built in the late 1800's and brought up to date with help of native son Ross Perot. Excellent hotels and restaurants and a thrill for families to be standing in 2 states as the same time. The ambience is relaxing, warm and welcoming to families on vacation.

By Edward W |

We have been many times and have always have a great time and the shows , from off broadway to the Christmas shows we have never disapointed .

By Linda C |

My family and I always enjoy the shows that are put on at the Perot! We try to go to a few each year. I would highly recommend it! Fun for all ages!

By 1scrappyRN |

I love the atmosphere of this wonderfully preserved venue. There is not a bad seat in the house! If you see Cirque type show get balcony seats, if you are just there to listen to a concert doesn't matter where you sit the sound is fantastic! It is a wonderful theater and should be enjoyed by all!

By PatrickH488 |

This historic theatre holds a grand experience for any event. if you have never attended an event there, do so soon.

By missvicki |

Thanks to Riss Perot, Texarkana native, the theater that once was the downtown movie house has been refurbished to artistic grandeur. A splendid lineup of traveling troupes feeds the local yen for culture - plays, musicals, bands, children’s programs, ballet, in addition to the Texarkana Symphony Season and Regional Music Heritage Celebration.

By jswgibson |

The Perot Theater is a wonderful jewel that is very much hidden. The staff is very friendly and well informed and both my 8 year old daughters, husband and I really enjoyed the tour!

Called 3 times over the past 2 weeks for updates on the Cody Jinks concert. Each time I was answered with a friendly voice at the other end of the line. When tickets went on sale this morning, the website froze due to the number of people trying to access the site. I had to call multiple times to get through but again I reached a friendly voice letting me know what was going on. Looking forward to seeing the theater and Cody Jinks.
