So glad we made reservations for this special event! The food was fabulous, wines good, barn building stylish and comfortable, and the family style seating provided a fun social setting. Couples had driven in from Detroit to the UP. A highlight of our two weeks in Harbor!

I have had many visits to the Pond Hill Farm and everyone has been a delight. Bring all your kids it is set up to entertain them. From fresh produce in the farm store to canned good you will have a wonderful time wandering around. They offer farm raised meats fresh eggs and other essentials. The cafe is a must for lunch, great fresh food and a very casual setting. There is also a nice local winery and a tasting room. This is Country! Once fed you can enjoy the farm, from seeing all the animals to shooting gourds in the giant sling shot...fun for all! Plus this is on the drive through the tunnel of trees that one must do while "Up North"

We were here last year and were excited to come back. We were pleasantly surprised to find they’ve added a large Biergarten and we could enjoy outdoor tasting. I tasted wines, my husband tasted beers, and we bought a few bottles for our stock at home. Everything is beautifully landscaped and tidy and there are walking trails with pretty views from the top of the hill. The beers and wines are good and staff is friendly and helpful. We’ll be back next year.

Visiting for a long weekend and decided to take the drive here from the Traverse City area. Fun for everyone. Food was delicious, donuts were amazing and they have beer and wine for the adults. Took a growler of cider home with us. The kids loved smashing pumpkins and the trout pond. Not too busy and able to stay away from crowds, very safe!

This is a must see stop! Beautiful grounds to walk and relax at. Wine tasting was excellent. Playground for kids! Livestock. Trout pond was worth the walk. Make sure to get a fresh bouquet in the store!
The pulled pork sandwiches were the best we have had!!! Delicious!! Our server, I believe his name was James seemed a bit off like he wasn’t suppose to be there. Leisurely checkin on us once well after our food arrived was all. Just didn’t seem like he worked there. I don’t believe he even had a shirt on like the rest of the staff.
Overall experience was great thou. Beautiful place

Pond Hill is a must-see for us every year we're up in Harbor Springs. It has been so fun to watch this place grow, and we always look forward to seeing the new things they're doing! The wines don't disappoint and the labels are great! Glasses, bottles and flights are affordable. The tunnel vision brew is a favorite in our family and they've added some interesting new brews as well. The Cafe lunch was yummy- we wanted one of everything! Kids had a ball exploring the petting zoo and feeding the animals. The gift shop has lots of goodies to take home, including humorous shirts. Perfect day to spend our rainy day, but I will admit it's more fun when it's sunny!

Organic farm with and when Agee to befriend kids, slides, I ash rockets...dads try to prove to kids how strong they are! Oops and verbal roads home, spices peanut sauce a favorite. Good meals, soups sandwiches and kale salad.wow, now wine and beer, well crafted.

Outstanding location, great food, great views. Have a winery and tasting room. Lots of fresh goods and organic foods.

Pond Hill is always on our list to visit while in Harbor Springs. Pick up some hanging baskets, or flower pots, some hand canned jams or jellies, ice cream cone, or have lunch or dinner. Great place for all ages. Attracts a lot of little ones who love to visit the animals, go on a hay ride. It's about 10 minutes outside of downtown Harbor Springs on 119. Good beer and wine.

This "Family Farm" is one of the most unique & beautiful hidden gems you'll ever come across. They have something for everyone ... A farm-to-table cafe, estate grown winery with 20 different wines and cider, Tunnel Vision Brewery with all beers brewed on the farm, beer garden, vineyards to wonder through, animals for the kids, hayrides, a giant slingshot (The squash rocket) to feed those animals, a farm store where you can purchase all of their wonderful produce and canned goods (canned there on the property). There is an ice cream shop, popcorn, pig races in the fall, cross country skiing the property in the winter and a sledding hill for the kids (visible from the wine/beer tasting room). This is an all around stellar location that I will be visiting every time I have the pleasure of venturing up into Northern Michigan!

There are games, toys and a play ground for the kids. The animals are cool. The wine room is cooler!

Stopped in while taking the Tunnel of Trees drive. This was a very nice winery. We only wish that we knew they had a cafe there, we could have eaten there. However, we did sample and purchase their wines.
Look forward to our next visit.
Highly recommend

Pond Hill Farm is a great stop along the tunnel of trees route -- great farm-ish activities and a pretty decent restaurant and winery.
We launched some squash/apples with their giant slingshot, watched a pig race, grabbed some lunch (the pulled pork sandwich was great) and tasted some wines.
Definitely stop in, take in the scenery, and stretch your legs.

We had lunch at the Garden Cafe and it was a wonderful experience. Healthy, fresh foods creatively prepared and good options for everyone in our family including two vegetarians.
After eating we visited with the farm animals, played some outdoor games, launched potatoes into the field with giant slingshot, and shopped in their market where we bought a couple of dressings and several jars of jam.
Overall, it was a very relaxed, friendly, beautiful farm and a great place to spend a couple of hours.

Barn available for viewing farm animals held a few goats, a pig you were warned via a sign that would bit, a couple of sheep. Smell was awful-it was a cool breezy day, so it shouldn't have been an issue. A few piglets and a hog in a pen to look at. A giant slingshot that you paid $1 to shoot 4 squash. The cafe closed just before we arrived so can't review that. There was a trout pond on the property but we didn't see it. The whole place was underwhelming.

Pond Hill Farm is s great stop just off 119 on your way North. It's full of wonderful gardens and things to do and see!

My husband and I biked to Pond Hill Farm, off M119, and it was a great break in the middle of our ride. They have both indoor and outdoor seating at their upstairs cafe and wine and beer tasting. Good price for 4 wine tastes -$4 when we visited. They have trails that can be run, biked, hiked, cross country skied. We had the pulled pork and potato salad - both were very good, but not the absolute best I've ever had - but very solid, fresh and tasty. One of the fun things they have to do which we observed but did not partake in, are giant slingshots for slingshotting potatoes and squash (in season) out into a field. It looked like fun! Good wines, but not spectacular. We found two out of six we would purchase. We did not taste the beer. They have a variety of fresh vegetables for sale, a ton of home made canned food from the vegetables they grow, with creative flavor twists. Well done. Great destination location. There is a lot to do for families, especially in the autumn.

What a lovely place! A surprise as you head North (or South) on the iconic Tunnel of Trees North of Harbor Springs, Michigan. My group of 12 friends stopped in on our bicycle ride with the 2018 Michigander Bike Tour. Fantastic tour and fantastic stop for lunch at Pond Hill Farm. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff worked quickly to find a table(s) to accommodate us. The food was delicious! I had the Parmesan Crusted Grilled Cheese with Basil and Tomato! Fantastic! Also, the side of cucumber with feta was a taste treat. My friend’s burger looked juicy and yummy. She ate every bite. The Chicken Salad Wrap was labeled “awesome”. The burrito was massive! My friends also enjoyed the wine tasting upstairs. The gardens are beautiful. And farm animals for the kiddies. Highly recommend Pond Hill Farm!

We drove from Boyne to this place and it was worth the trip... They have things to do for all ages, feeding farm animals for little ones, squash rocket for the teens and adults, fishing and fruit-picking.... The staffs are very very friendly. And the highlight of the day was ending it with a delicious meal at their Cafe... Fresh ingredients and awesome taste of salads, sandwiches. You can also buy the ingredients from their store..... Will come back!

My friend and I found this place by accident. A gorgeous working farm with an ambitious garden and vin yard. Organic farming is HARD work. For all the people with unhappy reviews, I would say they need to see where their food comes from. Farms are not perfectly manicured lawns. They are working farms that provide you with safe food to eat. Animals were delight to watch. Gardens look healthy. Restaurant looks inviting. The views of the landscape are gorgeous! Good luck with this farm. We will be back.

If you are in the area you MUST stop here!! Super kid friendly. Feed the sheep with the squash rocket, visit the goats and pigs and then head inside for an amazing farm to table meal. The grilled cheese is to die for. Don't forget to try a wine flight or the DELICIOUS Tunnel Vision cider!! We tried the blueberry cider and it was great and took a growler of the regular to go! This place is just a really great stop!!

Great wine, beer, beyond friendly. Wonderful produce and products from them over the summer at local farmers markets. A new favorite for sure!

Love this place! Food is fresh from the farm. Kids play area is the best! Always something new for the kids. Setting is beautiful no matter what time of the year.

Great food and events. Kids always love seeing all the animals. Wonderful store with locally grown food. Friendly staff.

My husband and I decided to visit and see what everyone was talking about. We were
not impressed, we walked around and had lunch which was not wonderful and the service was slow. Kids would love to go on a hayride or see he terrain. We will not be back!

When we first pulled up I thought we had made a mistake! But we were wrong! We did some wine tasting and beer sampling. We ate at the little restaurant, which was fabulous! The kids shot potatoes with a monster size sling shot and LOVED it! The actually were aiming at sheep and my son got one. We also bought many farm products and wine to take home.

Pond Hill Farm has the healthiest work crew of any business in Northern Michigan and that makes me trust their products and produce. I sit in the bar drinking beer made from beets or rhubarb and marvel at all the healthy, hard working people. Even the clientele is healthier than your average restaurant.

Need a name change to Pond Hill vineyards. Live nearby and would frequently drop in to pick up a few tomatoes and other items. No more, since the profit center is wine, which is understandable.

We stop here every time we are in town. Food is wonderful, fresh, flavorful. My favorite is the kale and spinach slaw. The kids can have fun sling-shooting veggies, playing for hole, feeding the pigs, goats and chickens or watching trout in the pond while the grown ups can enjoy wine and beer. We stop here every time, never disappointed.

The menu is very creative with options for all kinds of eaters. Local food curated with care. I also enjoy shopping downstairs. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The beet side is delicious!

Staying in the area and checked it out on our way back. We purchased some items, checked out their menu and plan to go back there tomorrow for lunch. They sell a variety of products and also have beer and wine tasting. Nice location!

We went today and enjoyed a delicious lunch in the fall sunshine. Wonderful food, great venue and friendly service. Something for everyone to enjoy! We will be back!!!

Great activities for kids and adults. Donuts and hot cider were delicious. Wide variety of squash and pumpkins for the season.

its really worth the trip if you are staying in Petoskey. So much fun! I remember going when I was much younger and still having a blast. My favorite aspect is the squash launcher( a catapult from which you sling potatoes or squash for the goats and sheep to eat). You can buy animal feed and feed the sheep and oxen in the barn. They have fresh products throughout the entire year. During specific times in the year, you can pick your own fruit, their strawberries are delicious! The staff is very friendly and really makes an effort to get to know all those who come out to their farm!

Lots to do for the entire family! Enjoy the farm-to-table menu choices from which it's hard to make just one choice! Choose a wine or beer from their label to accompany it (better yet, choose a flight of either to sample several). Explore the farm, toss pumpkins, feed the animals, warm up beside a fire. We plan on making a return visit soon!

Even in Winter when not much is going on, this place will entertain you and your family of littles. Feed the farm animals, play on the playground, take a walk up the hill to see beautiful Lake Michigan. Plus you've got a brewery, winery and a delicious cafe and store with awesome local products all in one spot. Benjamin was a great host in the cafe, the chicken salad was my wife's favorite meal of our whole trip. Enjoyed the the peace and quiet and the atmosphere was great. Can't imagine how fun this place would be on a sunny hot summer day. They also have some very creative and unique events to get guest up to the farm in off months, like pond polar dive and snowman explosion contests. Just an overall fun place to go and it caters to the whole family for sure. NEWS BREAK - they are getting a bigger playground, it's in the works right now. You and your family will enjoy this stop, don't miss it.

We stopped during our fall color tour. Very busy place. Even though it was just the two of us, it looked like a great family place. We didn't eat while we were there, but looked like the food was good and had a good selection.

Although we have visited the area many times for the fall color, this was the first time we have visited the farm. It was a Fall Festival day at the farm. Even though the day was overcast the feeling at the farm was bright and cheery. There were attractions to interest all age groups from children to adult. We enjoyed a hay ride, watching pumpkin bowling and squash rockets, sipping hot spiced cider, hiking the trails, eating lunch at the cafe, and shopping in the market. The food was excellent and the service friendly.

Husband & I stopped by while on a late fall week long vacation in the Harbor Springs area. We found Pond Hill Farm to be folksy, scenic & inviting, in a rough hewn way. The servers were friendly. What Food we had was good but seemed expensive for the portion. I had wine which was decent but a small pour for the price. Husbands beer was a more fair price.
Outside was a giant potato sling shot which was fun to see. The exterior building & grounds were attractively decorated for Fall with pumpkins, gourds & mums.

Weekend was busy, but had lots of various activities and lots of space, only the food and tasting was a bit cramped, but still not long waiting. Wine variety was good and pumpkin bowling was hilarious. Fun place for taking kids too.

Just driving around the area, saw the sign for Pond Hill. They had been at the farmer's market, so we thought we would check it out. Turns out, they have wine, beer, activities for kids...you could make it an afternoon destination. We chose to do a wine flight, great conversation with the bartenders.

We 4 adults shared the pork nachos and we each had a bowl of soup as we wanted to eat lightly as we were going out to dinner later.
The servers are all friendly and the food was delicious. The place was packed too.

We stop here annually on our Girls Weekends trips in November. We love the colorful farm scenery with all the pumpkins and gourds, but what we love most is the wine and beer tasting. You have to pay a nominal amount for a certain number of tastes, but you keep the glass. Beer lovers and wine sippers can taste side-by-side and they never hurry you through, no matter how busy.
Definitely put this on your to-do list when visiting the area, especially in the autumn when the leaves and surroundings are gorgeous!

Located north of harbor springs on the tunnel of tree route, it is not exactly on the beaten path. It is a fun place to go especially in fall to look at pumpkins, or play some of their fall games like a squash on a slingshot. they have a nice layout with farm animals to visit, homemade canned goods to purchase, organic foods, and a good restaurant. All in all a good spot to take a break on your journey north.

This is a good spot for families. There is a store, cafe, and activities. The squash rocket did not use squash. They used potatoes. There are hay rides, pumpkin rolling, pig racing, and wine/beer tasting. It was incredibly crowded when we went, and felt a little commercialized, but prices for the activities were good - not overpriced. They need ore bathrooms.

Why not stop at a place that's a farmer market, a winery and a brewery? Added bonus, you can slingshot squash at a field of goats!

A wonderful place to stop with gardens barns, a café and gift store, and vineyards to look at. many fun activities for the kids including a play area and petting zoo. Winetasting as well.

Pond Hill Farm has a great wine and beer taste test. My hubby did the beer flight and I did the wine. If you like a dark beer you will have to test the Sid Vicous. My hubby doesn't like dark beer but I do. A bit unusual but I made that beer a part of my taste test. It was our vacation and it was fun doing things a bit different. ha! Beautiful farm. Big gift shop.

We've come here 2 summers in a row now; this year introducing friends of ours to the place. The squash rocket can't be beat for entertaining the kids. This year there were even sheep in the field to shoot out to! Kids also loved feeding the animals & fish & the lovely hay-free hayride. Us adults liked picking up some unique bottles of wine & cider & homemade jams. Last year we ate at the restaurant which was very good as well. A vacation to Harbor Springs isn't complete w/o a trip to Pond Hill Farms.

Passed by here on our trip through Tunnel Of Trees and decided we needed to check out when we had more time. We are glad we stopped, nice selection of farm made items, wines and seasonal veggies. Ate lunch here and had a nice meal on the patio overlooking there glorious fields. After lunch we walked out to the trout pond through their winding trails and fed the trout. If you get a chance stop, you will be glad you did.

Had the pleasure of gathering the family for a small adventure.. The kids enjoyed emensly the play yard and the Barn with the animals... shipped in the store and bought a bottle of wine!! Wonderful Treasure for Harbor Springs Community and Visitors!

This is a hidden gem off M-119 as you begin the beautiful Tunnel of Trees. This is a great spot to bring kids-very family friendly. Lunch is light and in the summer all fresh from the farm. I do have to admire I have never tried the wine and beer. A must is the canned items they sell. Leave room in your car and buy ANYTHING that even seems appealing to you. The garlic pepper jelly is a favorite on a triple cream cheese-yum!!

I've grown up coming to Harbor Springs for most of my life. It has been a pleasure to watch Pond Hill grow and flourish for the past couple years. Not only is the farmers market awesome, but the activities throughout the year keep us coming back. Their new venture into the wine world has been a success and hopefully the brewery will happen soon! Take your kids to enjoy the barn animals at any time of the year, sledding in the winter, squash launching in the summer and harvest meals in the cafe. Looooooove this place!

This place is awesome! Thousands of pumpkins, gorgeous hanging flower baskets, tons of kid friendly(adults too) activities, live music under a very expansive tent, food and beer, a nice farm shop to visit, and a trout pond with hungry finned critters(food provided).
If I lived in this area, it surely would be a frequent stop for me!

Pond Hill Farm is a good attraction for both adults and children. There are farm animals to be seen, a farm market, a restaurant, and a winery. Staff is professional, friendly, and helpful.

We just stopped by for few minutes in this winery, it seems to be a fun place for lunch, tasted few wines but they don't have a wide variety for sweet wines so it was okay. But overall it's a very good place to stop by.

We visit Pond Hill Farm frequently, they do a great job, always evolving and adding fun new things for kids and adults. Great food, beer and wine.

The grounds are gorgeous. Fish pond. Vineyard. Veggy garden. The store is full of homemade treasures. The restaurant is delicious. Petting zoo The wine tasting is great. Lots to do whether with kids or friends.

We were most impressed with the Wine Tasting at Pond Farm...the dark, handsome young man who conducted the tasting was a delight...we had him "design" our tasting after filling him in on our tastes - he hit it right outta the ball park! The wines were quite delicious and reasonably priced. The gift shop was stocked with shirts, candles, etc... but the "grocery" section was fabulous - pickles, jams, jellies, condiments, sauces - you name it! On arriving home, I went to the website and ordered lots of those products to be shipped to me. Delicious!

This a a great place I stumbled upon about 5 years ago...it's now one of my go to stops every year!! It's a beautiful little spot tucked along the road...it's grown from just a farm to a great spot for food & a drink! They do farm to table dinners & hayrides. But it's a great stop for lunch & a little wine/cider/beer tasting!! The Blueberry Cider this year is awesome!!

My husband and I visited on a very chilly, windy, rainy day, so we spent much of our time inside the shop and restaurant. We walked around a little bit outside and it looked like fun. We wanted to explore the nature trails and do some of the outdoor activities, but brr! The staff inside was friendly and welcoming! We bought some of their jam. If ever in the area again, we will visit on a nicer day!

We stopped by for an evening dinner after skiing on recommendation from a friend. We weren't disappointed! Food is fresh, farm to table, and so delicious! The beer and wine tastings are great too! The kids had fun sledding while waiting for dinner with provided, free sleds. Don't forget to take home a bottle of wine or growler of beer!

My family has come to Harbor Springs in the Summer for the past five years. PHF has become an annual tradition. The kids started at 2 and 6, so the attractions were perfect. You could feed pigs and chickens, launch squash from a huge slingshot and try to feed/hit goats & sheep, you could swing from a massive tire swing in the barn, and then have lunch and grab some ice cream from their store.
This year - the pigs and chickens were gone, the squash landed in an empty field with no animals, and the tire swing was missing.
Looking at the grounds, I'd have to say they gave it an "upgrade". The items that remain have been improved - particularly the playground.
The things that appealed to the kids when they were younger were gone. But, that didn't matter because they ditched my wife and I to stay at the Harbor Springs skatepark while we made our annual trek to PHF.
As always, we had a fantastic lunch! Perfect day to sit outside on the deck and have some of their terrific food. It's usually pretty difficult to decide what to get because there are so many good options. The servers have always been top notch.
So, I guess PHF has evolved right along with our family. My wife and I had a great lunch date and always will plan on returning. It is such a peaceful and relaxing place to hang out, eat, and have some leisure time.

What a place!
The building looks like a ship in the flower ocean.
We were visiting this place in July. It was all about the flowers. They were blooming like crazy. They were displayed everywhere.
The restaurant inside looked very nice.
We've ordered pizzas and one sandwich. It was fresh and very tasty food.
I was surprised, that we didn't wait long for the pizzas.
After lunch, we went to feed the fish. There is a pond near by in the woods.
For 25 cents you can buy some fish food and enjoy feeding the trout which is there in a huge amount. There was also duck family "asking to be feed too". There was a little competition between fish and ducks. Finally, everybody had something to eat. It was a lot of fun.
I recommend this place.
RomanP

Always a great time! The food and drinks are tasty, wait and bar staff friendly, and a beautiful place to enjoy an afternoon. The big sling shots are a great way to feed the animals and a blast for even 40 year olds. We've been coming to the farm for years and make sure to stop every time we're in HS.

When I first drove up I thought "cool!". Then I went inside the store. I was the only person in there and the lady there did not even acknowledge me. Maybe they don't need the business any more. We just left.

We visited the farm on a whim as we drive past and saw pumpkins. I have to say this was one of the best fall spots we have visited. There were animals to interact with, gorgeous farm scenery and fall displays, and a really cool restaurant/bar. I wish we had had more time to spend here!

Fun place to take children to see vegetables growing in fields on a farm (pumpkins), farm animals--pigs and sheep--and small cafe. The hanging baskets and flowers were beautiful. We took several pictures.
It does smell like a farm as well.

This is the kind of authentically Michigan place that if you are in the area you should visit. Winery? Yes! Farm? Yes! Country corner store? Yes! Goats???? YES!!! What else could you possibly be looking for? GO!!!

Crazy busy but absolutely worth the stop. Love coming here for multiple years and just keeps getting better. Highly recommend!

Stopped to share a secret winery with my spouse. Found a unique gift for a friend. Shared an adult beverage with hubby. Great family farm. Truly a gem

Farm to table dining, wine tasting and beer flights, playground, gift/food shop, games and activities. There is really something for everyone.

We stopped at Pond Hill Farm for a late lunch after driving the tunnel of trees. We lucked out with a beautiful afternoon of sunshine so we sat on the patio outside. Loved the view! The food is farm to table and very fresh! It was hard to pick off the menu because everything sounded so good. Both my fiancé and I ended up getting the burritos. They very huge and filling but so good! I had a flight of wines and he had a flight of beers. I loved the little market where we picked up some salsa to take home.

I would say our visit would be luke warm, would think too much marketing of product of the farm and not enough show casing it in a memorable lunch experience. We ate out doors on the deck and the constant grit of the parking lot dust was the primary seasoning of the food and collected in our eyes and noses, it was a bit much, not very relaxing or enjoyable

A great place locals go for lunch- a walk- beer and wine with friends. Peaceful and wonderful staff.

Another northern michigan original that just keeps on getting better as the years go on. super nice owners and staff and they're just genuinely nice people. cool concept that has a little everything for everyone from kids to adults. from squash rockets, slab cutting, veggies, trouts pond... the list goes on and on. this place is just a wonderful place to stop. highly recommend.

It was recommended we try Pond Hill Farm for wine and beer tasting. Although we don't drink beer we did go for the wine tasting. Good selection of wine...they have a nice shop as well and also serve food.

Went here with our young grandson while on vacation in the area. The reviews were so great I was really expecting something wonderful. Was disappointed start to finish. The place needs to be cleaned up first of all - weedy and not very well kept. They had sprayed huge weeds with something and they were all dead and brown - a huge mess of ugliness. There was trash against the buildings and a discarded live animal trap sitting beside the door to the barn! They were planting potatoes and the seed potatoes they were using were stored in the old shell of a Jeep beside the garden.
The animals in the barn were so sad looking. The chickens were inside tiny pens. The barn was just kind of a mess. They have machines you could buy food tor the animals for 25 cents. One of the workers brought a big bucket of garden trimmings for us to feed the animals. She was nice.
They have a sandbox and small toys for children, some of which were broken. The "squash launcher" was launching potatoes, not squash. Went inside to the gift shop and it was one of the poorest gift shops I've seen for awhile. And no one in there was the least bit interested friendly.
There were 2 ladies behind the counter who kept bickering with each other in front of customers. The phone rang and one of them answered it and was quite sharp with the customer on the phone because the caller asked when they closed (it was 6:00pm on a Friday night) and the customer said they should stay open later in the summer for the tourist crowd. Both the ladies behind the counter were quite put out that anyone would suggest they stay open later. One of them said "We have been here since 8:00am this morning. We're tired. We voted on whether we wanted to stay open later or not, and we decided not to. We're going home." It was amazing. How about - hire some more people and stay open later? What a concept.
Do not recommend. You can do better!

Excellent food and wine in a pastoral setting. This place has it all. Vineyard and brewery, working farm, food sourced from the farm. Plus a farm store. The day of the visit I had their un-oaked chardonnay-perfect. My friends had a house brewed IPA and a cherry-apple cider. All excellent. The food is outstanding. All this on a deck draped in growing hops, overlooking pasture and fields of veggies. And the aroma of one of their pigs being smoked. I purchased a couple of their house recipe sauces to take with me and reproduced their menu dishes. Need I say more?

Nice setup, beer and wine samples; Garden food available, Holloween hayrides, my only recommendation is I wished they stayed open longer than 6.

It was cold and windy on the Lake one day, so we looked for an indoor activity... and found this! A cross between a farm, a restaurant and a winery, there's a little something for everyone. We ate lunch on their deck, which was lovely. Their grilled cheese was delicious, and they offered $4 flights that would let you try three groupings of wine with your meal.

Our grandchildren range in age from 31 to 5. When they and their parents come for a visit, Pond Hill Farm is a must. They love feeding the animals. We always have lunch, which is delicious. And, of course there's the beer and wine. We also leave with a few bags of homemade goodies. We are so fortunate to have a real working farm close by.

I wish I could be more positive, but my wife and I stopped fort lunch during a long weekend visit. The place was crowded and the service was slow, but we were on vacation. I ordered the grilled cheese and paid $1 extra for tomato and basil. What I got was a $11 skimpy sandwich with one small piece of cheese and wo of the tiniest slices of tomato and a few tiny cut squares of basil. Our waitress never came back to see how things were, and when I finally flagged her down and expressed my disappointment, she brushed me off by saying sometimes the cook is less generous. Bad response. My wife ordered a salad which was good, but had a hard time getting a refill of her hot water for tea. They got an extra star for her meal.

Great food plus a way to entertain the kids is always a winner in my book. My son absolutely loves this place and we make it a point to stop every time we’re Up North.

We enjoyed our stop at Pond Hill. Kids enjoyed the playground area and a snack while the adults enjoyed sampling the craft beer in their beirgarten. We all enjoyed the Gnome Hunt, the friendly chicken and the baby pigs. Worth a stop!

There are many, many things to see and activities to do here, but the highlight on this visit was their gorgeous flowers EVERYWHERE! They have the
most gorgeous and huge trailing nasturtiums in every color. Their flower baskets are works of art.
I took many pictures and will aspire to replicate some of them next summer at my house.

Enjoyed the liver pate on artisan sourdough bread, and the asparagus cream soup. Homemade lemonade was a treat!

This was a fun place for people of all ages. They had pumpkin bowling- looked fun. The cider and donuts were yummy.

Visited yesterday! Loved the farm, wine, and staff. We could've stayed all day! Be sure to try all the wines. Delicious! Wish we had bought more. Hoping we make it for a farm to table dinner sometime. Oh...and they have animals for the kids too! :)

My wife and I spent a long weekend skiing Nub's Nob and Boyne Highlands, but Sunday's weather meant we needed a plan B. We saw the good reviews on TA for Pond Hill Farms and decided to give it a try.
It turned out to be a great place to shop for a variety of sauces, jams, and other items. We even saw Thai noodle sauce! They also have a great restaurant which also serves as a place to try their various wines and brews (they have both a winery and brewery).
The folks there also let us peek into the barn to feed the goats and sheep that were hanging out - such fun for kids and adults.
I'm sure this place is very packed during summer but it was a fun stop for us during winter ski season.

Pond Hill is an amazing family farm, restaurant, beer and wine tasting room. There is also a small store with all sorts of goodies. Outside they have a great play area and you can even feed the goats using a pumpkin slingshot. Such a "must do" if you're in the Harbor Springs area!

This family-owned and run winery is a gem and a must-see if you’re in the area. We have come multiple times in the summer and enjoyed petting the animals, eating lunch on the patio, walking the grounds and tasting wines. We even bought a case of their Chardonnay wine. 🍷 In the winter we enjoy cross-country skiing (or snow- shoeing), petting the goats, sledding and wine-tasting. Will return next time we are in the area.

Hubby always plans some fun along our Harley journeys and imagine our surprise when we pulled up to a place that has a 'Squash Rocket'! hahaha! How cool is that? Go inside and purchase a few potatoes and then take a stab at shooting one of those babies into one of the blue cans out in the field. You can buy fresh veggies here, dine/drink upstairs, visit the pigs, take fun pics. When we were back at our hotel, we heard that they were going to have pumpkin bowling the next weekend. That just made us smile.

We stopped along the way on a fall color tour and it was well worth it. Great atmosphere, especially for fall. It was just my husband and myself ( and our fur-kid) but if you had kids they would have a good time for sure. We did pumpkin bowling and the squash rocket which were fun and spirited games. You could tell all the kids were enjoying the activities. The views at the top of the hill are beautiful. They have animals, wagon rides, pumpkins for the kiddos (or big kiddo's alike) cider and doughnuts, and a little harder cider and beer, pumpkin smashing, lumber cutting demo and your typical shopping and restaurant.

Pond Hill Farm is a great place to stop on your journey through the Tunnel of Trees or just as its own destination ...check out their calendar of events! You can also taste test is own wine and craft beer right on property right in its tasting rooms or enjoy a glass or two in the Garden Cafe or outdoors on the Patio! Highly recommended.

Bring cash (and quarters to feed ducks and fish) its easier. Bring the sanitizer too. staff was friendly, but most I think were brand new and did not know much. Dog friendly. Pumpkins were awesome and everywhere. My kids loved pumpkin bowling and slingshot a ton. I suggest getting there right 11 as we did when they opened. When we left at 1, it was getting crazy busy and packed, which isnt our thing. Glad we timed it well. I would like to see this place in the summer as well. Beautiful vineyards with nice views. The beer was a delight. Try the fun photo booth in the barn too.

Its an interesting farm to table venue with a shop, farm animals, wine bar and restaurant plus a potato launching gizmo. Food was OK and the shop was crowded. A good place to kill time...one time.

We LOVE Pond Hill Farm!
Our usual visit entails checking in for a table for lunch, grabbing two farm-made brews, and enjoying the outdoors while the kids play on the recently updated playground, which is fantastic now. A nice visit with the farm animals, a usual conversation or two with farm staff, a walk up the vineyard hill to enjoy the view where the bay peaks out beyond the trees....then we are called in for lunch.
Lunch served is a phenomenal "farm to table" meal that is mostly (if not completely) from Pond Hill's own gardens and farm. I can't tell you our favorite meals as the kids and we love everything. Our past several visits have us always ordering something pulled pork, though -- the nachos are amazing.
Our visits end with a leisurely tractor ride around their grounds, which brings you through the woods, to a fish pond to feed the fish, then back to the "main house" that houses the cafe and store. Our finale each visit is stocking up on our jams and some sauces or dressings in the store, which finishes about a 3 hour visit for us.
We highly recommend their special events, too. Holidays are something special here!
LOVE Pond Hill Farm!

This place is fun! There are donkeys and goats, tons of stuff to do with kids, squash shooting out of huge air guns, entertainment, and good pizza. We were there during dueling piano night. It was pretty crowded, but the folks behind the bar were doing a great job of getting everyone served. We waited about an hour for our pizza, but we were okay with that. We shopped the little market and took pictures of the beautiful flowers. If you're staying in Petoskey or Harbor Springs, it's worth the pretty drive.

Decided to stop here once we found out they were brewing beer, it was at the southern end of the Tunnel of Trees before you get into Harbor Springs. Very cool true farm type setting, the drive is even dirt/gravel. They have a farm to table cafe, and some of the dishes coming looked great. But we were here to taste the beer. Nothing that blew us away, but solid. The lady pouring our beers was very attentive and great to talk to. We think we will use this as the first pit stop on the next Zoo-de-Mac bike ride!

We love Pond Hill Farms and visit every time we’re in town. The food is excellent, kids love seeing the animals and the “gnome hunt” is super fun for the kids while also a great family nature walk. Highly recommended as a stop when you’re visiting the area!

Farm animals are easy to get to, walk around the grounds, go inside the barn, and walk up the hill through the vineyard for a spectacular view of the countryside. The restaurant only serves lunch and is well worth a stop. The menu is fresh and unique and service is terrific. The market below the restaurant is a little overpriced for what they are offering but again unique offerings. Pet the dog.

Enjoy an amazing Farm-To-Table meal in a gorgeous cafe, taste fine Michigan Wines, walk through a stunning vineyard with view of Lake Michigan, have a craft beer brewed on site, feed the animals, take a hay ride, shop produce and canned goods in a cute farm store, let the kids run wild on the playground, and DO NOT FORGET to shoot the squash rocket. This place is a must stop. Don’t miss this hidden Northern Michigan gem <3

Pond Hill Farm is family run and a unique stop on any Michigan vacation for families or couples! The kids will love all of the farm animals, train/wagon-rides and the adults will appreciate the fresh vegetables and canned products available for purchase. The farm is beautiful and don't forget to visit the winery!! Habor Springs' wines equal those found in California and can be tasted and enjoyed in the awesome, spacious tasting room. After, have a bite to eat in Pond Hill Farm's cafe! We wish we lived closer so we could visit regularly!

We decided to go on a short hike to the trout pond before having lunch. First, they don't offer trail maps; second, there was poison ivy on the trail; third, we were told there was fish food at the pond to feed the fish, but when we got to the pond, there was no fish food! Now, on to our experience in the restaurant... we ordered our food and waited over an hour while people sitting around us who were seated after us and ordered after us were served! Finally, I got up and asked the hostess if there was a problem with our order, so she checked. It turned out our food was ready and had been setting there but our waitress didn't bring it to our table. We received no explanation or apology from our waitress, but the terrific hostess apologized, gave us a free lemonade and an appetizer on the house, which were both good. However the food we ordered was nothing great. Because of this time-consuming and bad experiences, after lunch we left instead of taste-testing some of their wines and beers and possibly buying some to take home. Overall, not a great experience and we most likely won't return.

We were driving the tunnel of tree's on M119 near Harbor Springs Mi when we nearly drove by Pond Hill farms. We say pumpkins in the field and on the lawn for sale, and animals do we drove in. They have a winery and a small country store and a little restaurant that serves food that they grow. We tasted wine, (6 tastes for $7 - VERY REASONABLE) and had lunch. The kale slaw that they grow there was out of this world. In the store they sold tomato sauce and pesto and tons of other things. Cant wait to try it! We loved the petting zoo - What a find!

Nice place to go to get pumpkins. Weekends they have activities for kids. Climb up the vinyard vista trail by the grapevines next to pumpkin bowling for a great view all the way to the water. Also a decent restaraunt and winery/brewery. Close to the tunnel of trees. Prob. Best in mid October when foliage turns. Nice place nice people.

Nothing really to do here unless you want to look at some goats and sheep and shop in another gift shop. Theres a restaraunt on site but one look at the menu and we passed- this place was featured on Under the Radar but for life of me I can't remember what for unless it was for the kids stuff

We were taking the back roads around Harbor Springs making our way over to 119, the tunnel of trees when we happened across the winery. We had heard about it and being a lazy Sunday afternoon decided to stop in and check it out. We did not tour the winery but we did check out the farm store. They are very industrious as most of their offerings were produced on site or by local artisans. A great selection of their wines and craft beer, canned and pickled vegetables, maple syrup, honey and locally crafted jewelry and crafts. Even locally roasted coffee! A real treat to shop!

Pond Hill Farm has what it takes to keep the whole family coming back. Everything from animals to pet, hay rides to wine and beer tasting and staff are very friendly and helpful.

This was one place my husband and I stopped while driving the tunnel of trees. Am I glad we did! Think a farm market and restaurant tied to a working farm. It has a very cute café for lunch, open until 3P.M. The market has canned goods and fresh produce allover the place. It is very much a family place. Food was delicious. Would love to go back. It is a working farm which many children no longer have ever seen. Bring your children!

This is a delightful farm outside Harbor Springs that has horse rides, trout ponds, a store and restaurant all with products from this farm. Great for families with kids.

My family saw their ad in the local magazine and it looked promising. We parked and were immediately drawn to the "squash rocket" next to the parking lot, where you can launch vegetables out into a field with massive slingshots. All was going great, until my young daughter saw sheep in the landing area of the squash. Sure enough, a sheep, roughly 50 yards out, got hit square in the back with a projectile squash. My daughter, who adores all animals, was upset. I asked one of the employees about the sheep and getting hit with flying vegetables. Question, "does it hurt the sheep". Answer, "the vegetables go way up in the air and land on their back, so it doesn't hurt them." She added, "if the sheep were bothered by it, they wouldn't be standing in the field." What?

Pond Hill Farm is a a frequent stop on our Harbor Spring visits. Whether it's for a quick lunch, to see the new baby pigs, to shoot squash from the squash rocket, or to pick up several jars of homemade canned goods (try the dilly beans!) - we always enjoy our visits. On our last visit we even did a wine tasting!
North of downtown Harbor Springs off of M119 - I highly recommend a visit to this unique, local farm.

We went for lunch on a Monday & sat outside on their porch. Emma was our server & she was wonderful. My husband had the pork nachos & I had the chicken salad plate. I enjoyed my meal more than he did. The beer selection was great. We were able to walk throughout the property & check out all the critters. We usually visit in the fall & we weren’t sure how it would be in the summer....we loved it. The flowers were beautiful & we had fun watching all the workers in the field. We found everyone had a lot of pride in the tasks they were performing & believe in the mission of the farm

We came to Pond Hill Farm on recommendation from a friend. We were staying in Petoskey for a trip to see Tunnel of Trees. Stopped at the farm in our way through the trees to get out and stretch our legs. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. We started with a 7 flight taste of wines. John was a quiet, but attentive server. Good wines. We bought a bottle of red. We then moved on to a flight of 4 craft brews. I loved the pumpkin cream ale. I expected a strong pumpkin taste, but it was very smooth and mellow. They have a great looking farm to table cafe menu. We had eaten prior to getting to the farm, but the food looked awesome. Definitely worth a stop. We will be back!

Pond Hill Farm is always a wonderful place to visit in Harbor Springs. We had brunch for mothers day and love stopping here in the summer and fall. There is so much to offer and the staff are so welcoming. The food is fantastic and atmosphere is laid back and warm. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

We took a day off from skiing to visit a few wineries in the area, and we lucked out finding this place. The staff was super helpful, as we tasted several local brews. They served food, but we were more interested in the bar area.

I really enjoyed visiting this farm. I was familiar with their produce and products from the Boyne City and Charlevoix Farmer's market.
I don't think they are certified organic, but their level of quality competes with the Providence and Bluestem's of the area.
Their ginger salad dressing is one of the best I've ever had.
Overall their market has quite a good selection of produce, products they make, and other companies' products.
The farm has their Tunnel Tree brewery, and a vineyard / wine making operation. I tried a flight of beer and really liked 2 out of the 4 styles. I tend to like IPA's, but their IPA was not very good.
My wife liked their Cottage White wine.
The farm is great for kids. There are animals that kids can get relatively close to (through the fence). There is a play ground, pig racing, and a squash launcher (yes, you read that correctly).
They also have Hay Rides and a trout pond but we did not experience those.

Lots to see here for everyone. We came for lunch, including a wine flight and beer. Wines were done well, as is beer. Store has many items for sale produced right there on the farm. Food, excellent. Do not forget to visit the farm area with activities for the kids. Feed the goats (bring quarters). On your way out, don’t miss the trout pond where you can also feed them (another quarter). The squash rocket is fun to launch a potato. Do not miss.

Great selection of pumpkins and squash for the fall! The squash sling was so much fun to use, I highly recommend giving it a try!!! The grilled cheese was very good but not as filling as we had wished. Got some great beer while we were there as well. Petting area could use a little work, but overall this is a great place

really enjoyed our visit here - did the wine tasting, had some lunch, and just walked around the property. Very friendly folks, solid food, and decent wine.

We were so glad six of us adults saw Pond Hill Farm and stopped to check it out Sept 7. We were on our way to the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Heritage Route. There were hanging baskets of flowers, lovely fall decorations, bushel baskets of produce, a carved wooden moose, and a huge chair carved from a tree trunk.
They had Shoot the Squash Rocket, pigs outside in pens, hayrides, ladder golf, corn hole. In the big barn you could feed the farm animals, ducks, and goats. One white goat was actually in the hay crib just contentedly lying down. A log cabin was being built in the barn to later be removed log by log and rebuilt outside.
There were fish to feed at a nearby trout pond. They had greenhouses, u-pick pumpkins, a winery, brewery, produce market, and ice cream shop. The Garden Café was beautiful with much wood and white lights.
We enjoyed great views of Lake MI from their Sunset Hill Vineyard Overlook with several rows of grape vines covered with white mesh netting so birds wouldn’t eat the clusters of bluish-purple grapes. They host events--farm to table dinners, pig roasts, barn dances, fall fest, winter fest. We walked all around. Amazing, fun place!

Went up north for a cross country ski weekend but not enough snow
Found Pond Hill Farm from the girl at Bay View Inn
They have Ski trails and walking trails thru the woods.
So we were able to snow shoe on the trails thru the woods not a lot of snow but they were grooming the trails when we arrived
A number of different options forr as long as you would like to walk or skiing
so would be great with out snow also
Then the resturant after skiing has wine tasking and beer tasting and great different food
Also has a cute store that sells jellies and pickles and more

We go every yr when in Harbor Springs. Good food, farm & fun. Love to shoot the squash. Love the farm animals & environment.

The farm store was small lots of jellies and jams. The wine tasting was nice lots of very large pumpkins not worth the stop for us

Great atmosphere and delish food! The cherry berry wrap was wonderful and the kids grilled cheese was a hit with my son.

Yes it's a farm and yes there is a petting area for kids to get close to the farm animals. But it also has a small restaurant, a wine tasting area and a SQUASH ROCKET. Tons of fun for everyone.

The setting is very organic. It's a working farm with lots of vegetables and animals. They can a lot of their fruits/vegis and have them for sale. The wines are really nice. The menu has nice variety and everything we ordered was tasty. It's off the beaten track but a cool adventure.

Good wine and a beautiful venue. Different from traditional wineries/breweries, they have an actual operational farm onsite. There was produce and pumpkins for sale, they had a very nice gift shop with cottage foods. The food looked very good but we did not eat here.

when you are around stop by - enjoy the great food, very nice and friendly people, enjoy the pic race, pumpkin pitch and a lot of more funny activities. great for kids - and adults

Many people told us to be sure and visit Pond Hill Farm when we were visiting the Tunnel of Trees so we went for lunch. The concept of a working farm, winery, brewery and farm to table restaurant sounded so inviting. My problem started when I ordered my lunch. I received the poorest excuse of a Club Sandwich that I have ever had. They were out of the special bread that was supposed to be served so the substituted with 2 wafer thin slices of sourdough (they must have been running out of this also). Add a few slices of turkey, one strip of bacon, lettuce and tomato and there you have it. This poor excuse for a club sandwich cost me $13.00. What a rip off.
I must admit that the beer was actually pretty good, at least the one that I tried (Pondhilsner).
My next mistake was to try a glass of the 2015 Barrel Aged Chardonnay. Without a doubt, this was absolutely the worst Chard that I have ever drank in my life. The tasting notes said "a hint of whiskey overtones." I would have been much better off ordering a watered down whiskey and water. This was their top of the line wine so I dared not try the others. In a word, it was dreadful.
After lunch we ventured out into the farm. Here we found a couple of goats running in a field and several chickens in a cage. You call this a farm? The only farm I could find was the field of squash and the pumpkin patch. I had personally had enough so I didn't venture any further with the other "attractions."
To say that I was ripped off at lunch doesn't begin to explain my trip to the Farm. They certainly won't ever be seeing me again. You can visit but don't drink the wine or order the club sandwhich!!!

My son loved the hay ride, my husband loved the pumpkin patch and the shop was too cute! We all had a blast and will come back this summer for more quaint farm fun!

We stayed in Harbor Springs for a week on a family vacation and decide to check out Pond Hill Farm. I am so glad we did! We had so much fun! Great place for Beer and Wine tasting, feeding animals, nature hikes and the best park was launching potatoes! We had so much fun we actually visited twice that week. This is a must do for anybody in the Harbor Springs area.

Great stop on the tunnel of trees visit. A bit pricey, friendly helpers. Lots for kids and adults alike

We were driving from Traverse City to Mackinaw City and detoured along M119 thru the Tunnel of Trees. We saw the pumpkins in the field and turned around so that we could come back, and we're glad we did! We didn't arrive at lunchtime and didn't have time to taste wine or beer, but my friend found a carrot that they let her wash and eat right there - she said it was the best carrot she'd ever eaten. We bought some sauces and marinades and can't wait to try them. The folks here are welcoming and gracious and if we lived in the area and had kids, it's somewhere I would take them often. If you happen by here, make a U-turn and make it a point to stop - you won't be sorry! And if you have time to actually plan a visit here, you're even luckier.

Especially good after harvest. Pumpkins all over and fruit in the jars. We always leave with something. Staff and family is cheerful and enjoy your visit as much as your money.

We visited our son who is working as an intern on the farm. We were there for the Father's Day pig roast and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff was so friendly as are the owners, and the beer and wine tasting was fun. The setting is beautiful with great views of the bay and farm. A must see if you are in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area.

Visiting Petoskey area for the first time. We have 3 girls...2 picky ones so we were a little skeptical about trying the cafe. Kids menu is simple but GREAT! 2 had the hamburgers and one the grilled cheese...the littlest said "this is the best grilled cheese I've EVER had" 😂 all had fresh slices of watermelon and cleaned their plates. I had the chicken salad wrap and my picky hubby had the pulled park with the sweet cherry wine BBQ sauce. ALL WAS AMAZING!!! I also had the side of spicy peanut noodles. Their sauces can be purchased in the gift shop too.
The farm is small but fun to mill around. Our girls loved launching the zucchini to the goats! It's only $1 for 4 large pieces to launch.
Wish we could have enjoyed the winery and brewery...will do when kids are older they have no patience.

Even just the drive from Petoskey to Harbor Springs is worth it! The farm is very cool and easy to find! They have a great setup and even a play yard for kids. They are casual yet know their stuff about growing and about making wine. We bought the Cherry Wine. It was very tasty. The hard ciders are great too!!

Stopped by Pond Hill Farm to check it out. The sauce selections in the store were awesome. The wagon property tour was very nice. A little disappointed that there were only a few goats for the kids to pet and feed - had the impression there were more animals. Overall, a great place to spend a few relaxing hours with the family. Oh, the tasting rooms was nice too...

Husband and I went with son, daughter-in-law and their three children for the Pig Roast on Father's Day. It was great-if a bit "spendy"-$20 for adults, $13 for kids.
There was something for everyone-piglets in the barn, corn hole, both beer & wine and a campfire with smmores for dessert. The food was excellent-sides plentiful.
The plant market and store were closed for this event, but will try to go back next time we are in the area.

Small gift shop. Unfriendly lady & not helpful.
Cafe is good with excellent food.
Grounds are large to walk around and has some animals. Goats and sheep.
We asked twice about the pigs and were told " by the old playground " and "by the parking lot". Not helpful at all.
They should offer tours.

wish they had a few more animals.. and not so focused on the Beer and wine.. Its free to walk around.. Great place to visit in the fall for pumpkins

Great family-run business in Northern Michigan. New brew house is awesome. Looking forward to growlers in 2015. Great selection of farm-to-table food stuffs. Wonderful staff. Can't say enough good things about this place. Check their web site for upcoming activities.

Seriously. When 75% of your meal is grown on the very grounds on which you're sitting and there's a brewery on site that uses the hops literally growing up the side of the wall and in your hair, PLUS there's a winery on site too...total foodie heaven. We had the most lovely lunch with flight of beer (both zucchini shreds and kale slaw are amazing as sides, but zucchini is far less adventurous if you need that), then drove the Tunnel of Trees, sat on the beach in Cross Village with some ice cream, and managed to come back for a wine tasting at Pond Hill Farm. A. Maze. Ing. This is a must-visit, and we highly recommend the pumpkin pilsner, even if you don't like pumpkin beer! (The Master Beet and Conspiracy of Rhubarb are super fun too!)

A very nice stop and we picked up some dilly carrots, hot and sweet jams as well as some farm house dressing. Kelley was very helpful with our selections. Local produce, wines and coffee along with the normal seasonal items. We will return.

We found this by accident and were thrilled to find that they had fresh produce along with their brandied cherries, salsa etc.in the shop. We didn't even try any wine but we will next time. There were activities for kids and big enough that although it was busy there weren't any long waits.

We stopped by on a late summer weekday -- no special activities at the farm. Had great fun walking and looking. These folks understand hospitality! Active games are laid out on a flat patch (corn boards, and balls-at-target type games), the squash rocket is a blast. The trout pond was fun also.

Love feeding the bass out in the pond. Slinging giant squash using a giant sling shot. The animals are fun for the kids. Great place to bring the sleds for the kids and the parents can sit inside tasting some divine beverages.

Stopped and enjoyed wine tasting, shopping, dining and meandering the farm. All of us enjoyed our time spent here!

We stopped for lunch at Pond Hill Farm and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cherry chicken salad wrap is delicious! The various local beers and local wines are available to enjoy with your meal or on their own. We felt very comfortable with the distance between tables and the contactless service. The farm has beautiful landscaping, with flowers everywhere, and we enjoyed watching the rooster and hen wandering around during lunch. This is a very enjoyable place to stop for a meal or a drink.

I personally go to Pond Hill Farm for the wine! The tasting room which is located on the 2nd floor, is open daily from 11am-6pm. It's a small and intimate room, built from wood that was harvested right on the property. I've always lucked out and have been able to walk-in and find a seat at the bar, but when it gets busy and there are no seats left, I could see that detracting from the overall experience. The best thing Pond Hill had going for it was the French bartender, who had an incredible palette, very knowledgeable about the wine and vineyard, and really made the experience personal. I was slightly bummed to learn that she has for now, moved back to France. I always start out sampling everything, usually buy a glass of something, and then end up purchasing a few bottles! I really like the wine labels too, a local artist made them and each one is unique and related to Harbor Springs or the Vineyard! They don't advertise the Sumac Wine, which has a unique flavor (tastes more like alcohol), so ask about it!
Pond Hill Farm also has a great Farmer's Market, kids love seeing the livestock and the squash launcher. Also, try the Cafe located on the 2nd floor for lunch! Like them on facebook for updates on special events!

We went here at a recommendation by a local. Great tip. After "slingshotting" potatoes at the goats in the field and feeding the trout in the pond, we had a delicious lunch in the cafe. All the ingredients were fresh from the farm and cooked perfectly. I would suggest the Thai nut noodles and then go the mini market downstairs and get a bottle of the marinade they make there along with fresh blueberry jam. Great place to visit!

I could see why this was rated so highly! Beautiful farm with fun things to do for everyone. Our kids enjoyed looking around the farm. There are yard games to play while you wait to be seated at Tunnel Vision brewery. The real reason we were there. Enjoyed our time.

I have been to Pond hill many times over the years, but have not visited in over 8 years,a lot has changed, new restaurant, winery, brewery and more. I now live in France and took my French wife there so she could buy some preserved gifts for our relatives in France, this 1st bottle picked up contained HFCS (high fructose corn syrup),we turned around and walked out the door, shame on you Pond Hill Farms!

We were there in October, about a week before the peak of Autumn colors. This is a picturesque working farm near the shores of Lake Michigan. They have a nice winery, a brewery with knowledgeable staff, and a good restaurant with fresh ingredients. The pumpkin patch was awesome and a big hit with the kids. There are lots of family friendly activities and you don't have to spend a lot.

Having hard time reviewing this place after reading so many great reviews. Our experience at the farm wasn't a bad one but wouldn't recommend it to a friend. There are things for the kids and nice looking vegetable gardens. Upstairs in the barn you can get a lite meal in the cafe. But would recommend eating before you visit or wait till you leave. Don't mind paying a little more for drinks at a small winery but do expect to get a glass when I pay for one.

Enjoyable Farm Market, lots of outside plants to view, best variety of local canned goods I have ever seen. Loved their cherry wine and brought a bottle home! There was a bountiful amount of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Whether it's a family outing or friends are visiting, there is something for everyone. We like the wine and beer flights. The food is very good too. Spend some time in the market as you will find something you want to take with you.

Recently visited Pond Hill Farm and enjoyed a great lunch with a wonderful pint of hard cider. Portions were good sized (we split a chicken wrap) and very tasty. Beautiful setting with lots of adventures for kids.

The first time I visit the farm many years ago, you could buy fresh produce and a few other items on the honor system: pick out what you needed, and leave payment if no one was around. There still is some fresh produce, grown where you can see it, but that has taken a backseat to tourism: look at the animals, feed the pigs and fish, get a bite to eat and have a drink, buy a cute souvenir to take home to the person who is watering your plants. I appreciate entrepreneurism as much as the next person but kind of miss the old more genuine farm. I still like their spring mix, the flowers are the best around, and some of the canned goods are very good. My mom loves the sparkling cider.

We stopped in on our drive through the Tunnel of Trees (which is very nice, but curvy enough to make my wife car sick and many impatient locals to avoid.) We didn't have our kids along, so we didn't partake of the farm activities. The store was very rustic and chock full of private label goods. The produce looked top notch, and they have canned/produced about every thing under the sun. We just missed the cafe as it closed for the day at 3, but went ahead and had some beer and wine. (Could be the tunnel of trees after that wasn't the greatest idea?) My wife really like her Riesling, but I wasn't a fan of the beers. They were very creative, but I was really just looking for a good IPA. It looks like they are really going in a number of different directions with the farm - maybe it all works together?

On a whim, we drove out of town to this farm, so cute, so welcoming, so friendly. See the animals, taste the food, enjoy the wine, buy some local products.
My husband especially loved the Michigan ice cream bars - WOW - they were delicious !

We enjoyed a beautiful hike on their trails and then stopped in to taste wine, beer, and some food in the cafe. I loved my grilled cheese sandwich. We picked up some home canned jams and sauces along with a few bottles of wine to take home. Looking forward to coming back to cross country ski this winter!

What a great time sampling wines, eating, and shopping in their farmers market. Cannot walk out without buying wines and food.

We came here on a Wednesday in October with our 8 month old and had a great time. We ate a very delicious lunch and enjoyed all the local vegetables, etc. We also had a lot of fun seeing the piglets and little goats. On the weekend, it looked like they had many more activities but we had plenty to do.
Also, we were staying at a condo in the area (Trout Creek) and got some great groceries to take back including their delicious pepper jelly!

This is a great place for kids (the animals and the hayrides are fun. We enjoyed sampling excellent wines and the amazing beer (eggplant!). The gentleman that makes the wine and beer is incredibly knowledgeable and worth the visit just to talk to him.

Beautiful property. The employees were all friendly. The sour cherry jam and raw honey were both amazing.

I have been coming to Pond Hill Farm now for quite a few years and it's always a good time. I've seen it grow and improve and every time I go up north it's a highlight of our trip.
I love the wine tastings and they also have cider and beer tastings. There is always a great variety to try. I am no expert on wine or beer but to me it's good stuff.
The sheep, goats and pigs are always the cutest and the squash/potato rocket is so much fun even as an adult. The store has some great healthy food that I recommend checking out as well.
If you have a free afternoon, and are staying nearby, try Pond Hill Farm!

Wine tasting, beer tasting, cider, donuts, pumpkin bowling, pig races and a gorgeous view! Now that's what I call a great place to visit. We were very happy to find this unique place, just wish I had found it when my kids were younger. I hope to be back someday.

Great food, great fun. all in one place.
Wine tasting selections superb. And the blueberry hard cider is to die for.

Whether you visit with young children, as a couple, or with friends, Pond Hill has something for everyone. The delicious choices in the cafe and the market alone will draw you in, but stick around, and you'll LOVE the wine and beer choices. Plus, be sure to check out the delicious ice cream at the creamery (the chocolate is AMAZING!) and the beautiful plants and flowers from the nursery. I really can't say enough good!

What a treasure. Passed by many times on our travels on M119, but finally got a chance to stop. LOVELY farm to tour via walking trails, greenhouses, gift store, wine & cider tastings, excellent cafe, playground for kids, hayrides, potato and squash slingshots, beautiful flowers, trout pond where you can feed the ducks and the fish. Beautiful! Had lots of fun there in a couple of hours. Stop if you get a chance!

The food at Pond Hill Farm is TRULY farm-to-table -- right from the very farm where you sit. It's lovely porch seating affords you a view of this eclectic vineyard/brewery/farmstand/ice cream shop/restaurant. Visiting the cafe for a meal proved to be a terrific idea. The food -- chicken satay with four sauce preparations and cucumber salad -- were flavorful and paired well with an unbaked Chardonnay.
While I sat outside, there also was seating inside. And a tasting room where one could taste both wine and hard apple cider. A blueberry cider, made with honey crisp apples (YUM!) was the best blend of hard cider I've ever tasted.
If you'll be up this way in Michigan, and particularly if you drive the Tunnel of Trees, stop in at Pond Hill Farm. It has something for all members of the family.

What a perfect day to arrive. The day after harvesting all the pumpkins. Everyone was having so much fun. We enjoyed the wine tasting room upstairs. Then purchased some pure honey which we couldn't wait to open so had some for breakfast at our next hotel stop for breakfast.

Wifey and I peddled our butts from Harbor Springs to the Pond Farm. Great bike ride. Had a super yummy lunch. Great farm market full of cool stuff produced on the farm. Laid back, but very attentive staff.
Don't go without trying the squash rocket launcher. Cindy was right!!!!!

We enjoyed our visit to Pond Hill Farm. It’s definitely more of an outdoor beer/wine tent that’s surrounded by a few animals, barns and a playground... than it is a working farm to being the kids to visit.
They enjoyed walking around, seeing pigs, goats and chickens but I was expecting a bit more. On a nice day, with less “COVID” concerns of the kids with others and on playground equipment, I would definitely add that fifth star.

This isn't gourmet by a far stretch but the burgers and fresh veggies are good. With everything else the farm offers, this is worth the stop. Not very expensive either.

We took our two year old son to see the animals and pick berries and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. You can feed goats, cows, pigs, etc. They also have a small cafe which was quite tasty and an onsite brewery and winery. We didn't try the wine but the beers were tasty.

Pond Hill farm, just north of Harbor Springs along M-199 (The Tunnel of Trees), is a great spot to bring young children for a look at a (sort of) working farm. There are pigs and goats to see up close. There is a playground and a squash launching device. Hiking trail is easy and leads to a pretty trout pond. The food is very good, plus there is local beer and wine. Hard to beat.

After reading all the reviews posted here before coming, I was looking forward to visiting here. We made it and was very unhappy with what we saw. First stop - the gift shop appeared to be great. We asked the lady working in the shop what type of grapes were the wines made from - she didn’t know. Then - found out the squash launcher wasn’t being used. Didn’t see any comment on the website of it not being available, so strike two. THEN only NASTY portable Potty’s we’re available. It was VERY GROSS 😡plus the outside portable sink wasn’t working. I was glad I had my own sanitizer - strike three and we left!!! Our visit was during the week of Aug 16.

Stumbled upon this place just outside Harbor Springs. Stopped there for lunch and ended up wandering around. Lunch was fantastic! Nothing fancy, soups, salads, sandwiches. All stuff they grow right there. Everything tasted so fresh. They also had a tasting room for their wines and hard ciders. They had a little petting zoo area. There were chickens, pygmy goats, and piglets. Not a whole lot. A cute little country store area underneath the restaurant where you can buy jams, soups, produce, sauces, etc. All stuff they make right there. Everyone was super friendly and the grounds themselves are lovely. Multi-colored pumpkins everywhere when I was there. Definately worth the drive!

We were told by multiple people we had to visit Pond Hill and it did not disappoint. Such a cute and charming little farm, with farm-to-table food. Our waitress was delightful, and the atmosphere is adorable. We only came to visit since they are dog-friendly and to have a few drinks. The beers and wine were excellent and reasonably priced. The view from the patio is excellent, and there's a decent amount of activities for families.

What a surprise. I have passed this place and never realized what an amazing find it is. We had a two year old with us and he loved it. It's would be hard to list every gem this farm offers to the public but suffice it to say, it's worth the trip. The hayride (no hay for us allergy sufferers) was remarkably simple and thoroughly enjoyable. We stopped at their trout pond to feed the fish and the two year old was in heaven. Big fish and they get up close and personal. There are all kinds of different activities to engage guests. The most impressive part of our visit might have been how welcoming, friendly and polite everyone was. More like visiting someone's favorite aunt and seeing all your favorite cousins. The good in the Garden Cafe was outstanding and healthy but tasty. Service was also outstanding. Craft beer was unique and worth the trip.

Great time here, great wine, very friendly service. Highly recommend. They offer many fun activities. Will return for the pig races (?). Check out their web site.

I am not a huge wino, but I do know what a fabulous glass of wine tastes like. I did sample a couple of wines which were ok, but not impressive. I did not try them all. The grounds were fun, not the elite type that you would find in Napa valley, but clean, family friendly, and country in style. I would go back again to taste more.

Stopped here while driving tunnel of the trees. What a gem! Food was an incredible mix of classic and modern fare, there was a great selection of beer and drinks (I drank my weight in hot chocolate), and the atmosphere was warm and charming. We tried the hot garlic pepper jam and bought some to take home! Can't wait to go back.

The parmesan crusted grilled cheese is wonderful.
However, I have seen Pond Hill Farm grow from a tiny store to a big company in 30 years and I think it's gotten too "big."
The store is too "kitchy" now and they serve their own beer and wine in great varieties. In other words, they are trying too hard.
Plus, one dollar for a tiny bag of popcorn is ridiculous!

So glad a friend told us about this spot - such a great way to spend an afternoon and evening. The food was great. Shop was adorable. Animals roaming around was very welcoming. Watched the sunset after roaming around the corn maze. Such a nice time.

I wish we wouldn't have missed the pig race! :o( The pumpkins, squash, etc. were just gorgeous and all the preserves, mustards and everything else in the barn were lovely. Simply a beautiful bounty at this farm.

we made the trip out to Pond Hill on a recent weekend morning. Walked around the grounds, noted the pig race times, and headed to the wine bar. They have a flight menu and we sampled a few. Chatted with the wonderful young woman behind the bar and (I believe) Chad. Super nice & friendly! Got a glass of red wine and enjoyed it on the porch. Beautiful views! Headed to the pig races - hilarious and not to be missed! We launched a few apples in the giant sling shot and bought some canned goodies from the store. Pond Hill is a wonderful experience for both young and old - and those of us in between. Everyone is super friendly and make you feel at home!

Harbor Springs Winery was really our objective when we arrived here, but the charming farm was a tremendous bonus.
First the farm--they sell their produce, both at the farm and elsewhere apparently, and also use it in the cafe'. There were four captivating little piglets for us and the kids to enjoy plus goats and sheep. The whole setting is just postcard perfect. They have a store and a large variety of events, like farm to table wine dinners, that happen at the farm.
It is also the location for Harbor Springs Winery as well as a beer tasting room. Since we were not trying the beer, I have forgotten the name they use for that part of the business.
They offer two tasting options for wine which is great. You can have 7 for $10 or 4 for $6. The 4 option is great for the person doing the driving and probably the smart way to go. So many of their wines were wonderful, I don't know where to start. But the Schoolhouse Red is the only one made from grapes actually on the property and it was our personal favorite. The port was wonderful and, like so many Michigan ports, prominently featured cherries.
The server thoughtfully offered up some semi-sweet chocolate chips with the port and crackers to transition between this and the drier wines. He was very helpful and interesting as he was an out-of-state agronomy student doing an internship at the farm.
The really good news about this one for us out of stater's is that they ship to 48 states. They also make a variety of food items at the farm which can be purchased and shipped. Purchases can be made from the pondhillfarm website.
We did try one of the hard ciders and thought it was great, but as it would have to be shipped in 64 ounce "growlers" it probably doesn't make economic sense to ship it.

We had the best wine tasting experience ever. Tony was terrific..Wine was SUPERB..
Kirsten our waitress was friendly and caring.. Cheese plate was great with a nice assortment.
The CARROT SOUP was farm to table delicious!!! Farm was very cute.
Store was stocked with a nice assortment... You will love it here...

This is worth the trip if you're in the harbor springs/petoskey area. Its a family run farm w animals a market a restaurant and wine bar for tastings. Keeps growing with various activities throughout the year. Checkout the website. We go every trip to hurl squash and get some food, flowers, and check out the animals.

We happened upon this wonderful spot o our way out of the Tunnel of Trees coming back into Harbor Springs. It is a great family spot with lots of things the kids would like. Or come as a couple or with friends to walk the vineyards with a view over Lake Michigan, have a drink at the winery/brewery and to see the gardens or pet the animals.

Free admission gets you into the farm. Pigs and sheep for the kids to feed. A play area. Hay rides. Walking trails. If you are hungry, there’s a good cafe, and you can taste the excellent ciders and wines. PHF also has a shop selling local preserves and produce. A fun place to go with young children.

We went here as we were driving the Tunnel of trees. It was an interesting place with a great story. It started as a small veggie stand at the road and blossomed into a great place to spend an autum afternoon.

Used to come to Pond Hill as a kid to see the animals and shop locally with my parents. It has grown so much and the food is EXCELLENT. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. The trails are fun to hike and ski. Love it!

We attended the Easter egg hunt and we had a blast! Our three and one year old boys collected their limits of eggs and then we enjoyed the park and hay ride! Super friendly staff and awesome accommodations for all ages!

Loved sitting in the Biergarten. The bars were so cute! The beer was good. Great for singles, couples and families

We have visited "Pond Hill Farm" many times over the years! It offers an amazing experience for any age visitor! There is so much to see and do it is hard to describe! We LOVE the farm store filled with farm raised fresh organic meats, vegetables and bulk goods, and we always stock up on our favorite homemade canned goods and natural handmade soaps to ship home to Florida! The green houses are filled with fresh flowers and herbs you can buy already arranged in baskets or pots or you can bring your own containers to have planted any way you like if you are lucky enough to live in the area. We always take home arrangements of dried flowers that will survive traveling and my not so green thumb! The barns are wonderful places to explore! The event barn is home to the "Garden Cafe", and the lunches made from farm fresh goodies are so delicious! The event barn is also where you will find the wine tasting room for the "Harbor Springs Vineyards and Winery". All of the wines are yummy and are for sale in the wine tasting room or farm store. The livestock barn is just a few steps away, and was built with lumber harvested and milled right on the property! We always enjoy petting and feeding the animals, but I have to say our FAVORITE farm activities are shooting the squash rocket, taking a hayride and feeding the fish at the trout pond! Of course what makes any place truly special is the people you find there! Sharon, Jimmy, Marci, Emma and JJ Spencer make Pond Hill Farm the magical place that it is! Be sure to visit them when you are in the area! I know you will agree Pond Hill Farm is so much MORE than just a farm!!!

Pond Hill is great fun for the entire family!! Enjoy the baby animals, have the best grilled cheese sandwich ever in the cafe, taste some wine, shop for wonderful home canned goods, buy your summer plants, etc., etc. The display of pumpkins at Halloween is worth the trip in and of itself.
The owners have put their hearts and souls into this lovely place...enjoy!

It's hard to find a nice a relaxing restaurant that allows pets! Pond Hill Farms is your place! The food is fresh and and the beer is excellent! Quite and tranquil!

Just a great place to take the entire family. We had a group of twelve with grandparents, parents and kids. All had a great time! Try the beer flights/tastings. Just a great classic fun farm. Food is also delicious!

All the reviews on trip advisor wooed me in. Close drive to Harbor Springs. Was cute to see the piglets! Had some wine and beer. The rhubarb Porter is wonderful as well as the blueberry cider. Definitely worth a stop. Check out the view from the hilltop by the picnic tables.

Too much fun to be had ... A hidden gem 5 miles north of downtown Harbor Springs Michigan. Located at the beginning of the Tunnel of Trees scenic drive, this is a must stop. Loads of canned goods crafted on the farm, 30+ acres of produce, beautiful & friendly animals, an onsite Brewery, winery and farm to table cafe, playground for the kids, trout pond (feed the fish), hayrides on the weeks, pleasant staff. FIVE STARS. Open 360 days a year. Always something to occupy yourself with at Pond Hill Farm!

We were here for lunch last week. The food was excellent and the wine from the winery was also quite good. We left with two jars of the hot pepper jelly because it was better than delicious. The pumpkins and produce were nicely displayed outdoors too. If I lived in the area I would be a frequent customer.

This is a nice little place with lots of little activities for a variety of ages. We, my 10 year old son, and myself. Enjoyed shooting squash rockets - a very large sling shot. Then played ladder ball which was a new addition. He fed corn to the goats and then went down to feed the fish. Bring quarters. There is also a hay ride, raspberry picking end of July, there is a restaurant, shop, wine tasting, beer tasting, and a playground. We missed the piglets and the strawberry picking this year but they keep adding new things.

Our visit to Pond Hill Farm was amazing . The gardens were beautiful. The lunch was delicious. The store was full of wonderful items. Thank for giving our cycling group a tour and educating us about this gem in Harbor Springs.

This was a farm , restaurant and learning center. There were some adorable baby pigs which were delighting the kids and a huge sling shot that appeared to be a pumpkin launch!!!!

We decided to try Pond Hill Farm after hearing rave reviews from a neighboring table at the previous brewery we visited. We were not disappointed! I tried the wine flight and my husband had the beer flight. Both were great. The standout was definitely the
Peacemeal Rhubarb Porter! So unexpected and delicious. The staff was super knowledgable & friendly. Can't wait to go back!

They have good beers and good wines. I love the snack tray. My kids love the trail walks and the trout pond.

This is a great stop less than 15 minutes away from the center of town. It’s a unique place with a great menu and things to keep the kids occupied. There is a mini grocery store with freash produce, as well and many unique jams, preserves, salsas, etc. There is ice crème if you have room after lunch.

Beautiful farm which also houses the Garden Cafe, which is a full service restaurant. Great food and they know how to provide service. Lots of animals and activities.

This is a cute farm that has lots of stuff to do. We ate and tasted wines. Good food, service and not too expensive. We would go back again. Unfortunately it was snowing on our trip this time, so we didn't see it all. Not their fault (obviously). The service in the wine tasting area was less than great.

this little gem is not just a garden! it is a working garden that offers you pick, cas, grow a row. so much for families to mention! feeding the pigs, there's a wine 🍷 room for tasting, gourmet kitchen with the gourmet food to go wit!

We were here on a vacation last summer. The first day we went to the Farm was with the kids. The next day the kids were in a camp at the resort we were staying at and my wife and I enjoyed the Farm so much we went back.
This is an amazing place to go and take in all that they have to offer. The cafe has one of the top 3 three burgers I have ever eaten. The winery has some great wines to sample. There is a place to sit on top of the hill to catch a view and relax with a glass of wine. There are animals for the kids to check out and a huge slingshot to shoot squash. There is a gift shop that sells some of the amazing sauces they use in the restaurant. The spicy peanut sauce is absolutely the best I have ever had. And they also have an ice cream shop to finish off the experience. The best part of it all was the friendly people we encountered.

Loads of things for young families: squash rocket, piggy races, pumpkins, chickens, feed the trout. Great general store. We enjoyed the delicious cafe food. The wine tasting was great. They are very knowledgeable about their wines.

jarred items are interesting. the wines and beer were so-so at best - we tried several and didn't like any of them.

We were so impressed by the beautiful scenery, we drove right by.! Finally figured this out and had one of the best drives in a while as we made our way back! So pretty...when we arrived, we were so glad we didn't just pass it up...it's a great place for many things....there are animals, and huge pumpkins...a beer/ wine tasting room and a cafe area...tried an eggplant beer that was especially good! Also, a market store, where we bought some home canned marinara sauce and a package of soybean pasta...both, by the way, made for an excellent meal when we got home!
This part of Michigan is well worth spending a long weekend just exploring all it has to offer!

This is a MUST visit place you should put on your list of "Places to go" in Harbor Springs, Michigan. This farm in unique in the fact that it has healthy and fantastic organic vegetables and canned fruits, vegetable, sauces and a variety of other food items. The place is always a bussle of activities including hayrides, squash rocket, play area for the kids and animals to see and feed. Did I mention they have pig races too? I've never been to a place that is evolving each time I visit and I visit several times a year. I absolutely cannont say enough good things about this very unique place. Go to their website to see more....

My lady and I recently visited pond hill farm for an afternoon, and it was a real pleasure. We started with with and fresh juices, and finished with wine tasting. All very reasonably priced. And a very nice staff treated to all of our needs the entire 3 and a half hours we were out there. Our favorite part of the entire farm, was the view of Lake Michigan from the top of property. A must see if you visit! Thanks again Pond Hill Farm family, you guys were great, and all of our friend and family were very pleased with the gifts they received from our visit.

Our group of 4 had a very nice lunch here, even though 2 of us are non-drinkers. We left the kids at home, but we later realized that we certainly could have brought them along. We were welcomed right as we entered and given a short introduction to the place, and we then went upstairs for lunch. The drinkers enjoyed their flights of wine, and we all really enjoyed the food. After lunch we explored the grounds for a bit. Everything was very inviting and nice - and good selections available for lunch.

Lovely location with fresh veggies for sales and craft wines and beer. A treat for kids and adults, too. Beautiful location and great wines. Don't miss this for a fun adventure!

The wine tasting in the barn was awesome. Everything we tried was excellent, but favorites were Cherry Finite and Special Summer. Hard to choose which ones to take home! Also, good selection of jams, salsas, pickles etc

An unusual destination for a lunch or dinner...never disappoints. Anyone can find something good to eat there; they cater to families, individuals, couples of all ages. Well done! Pond Hill Farm...they're a great staple in the Harbor Springs Community.

Did the wine tasting, two couples. Very interesting wines, high quality stuff, not what I expected. The bar personnel are very knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy. The two cherry wines were outstanding

Highly successful but somewhat over-rated. Nice selection of pickled beans, carrots, etc. and other farm products, but check-out is separate from their other product lines, i.e. winery. Wine tasting is $10 for flight of 4, but no credit for purchasing bottles. Some wines OK, but nothing to write home about. Barista seemed to be doing multiple jobs and disappeared frequently.

Stopped here for lunch - really tasty. I had a yummy parm grilled cheese sandwich with a really excellent side of kale salad. My partner had the turkey sandwich and he just raved about the wonderful flavor of the turkey. Our server was really nice and gave us a sample of the hot jelly cream cheese spread - smart move since it led us to purchase a bunch of jars of it for gifts. This place is so worth the stop.

From wine and beer tasting to lunch and cider and fantastic donuts. Then off to see the kids race the pigs in a fun filled race before launching gords to the sheep and feeding the goats. They have hay rides and pumpkin bowling and you can watch and order wood planks to be cut from the raw too. This was a great way to spend a fall afternoon near Harbor Springs, MI

We stopped by for a beer and wine tasting. The beer flights were charged based on the type of beer selected. The prices per five ounce pour ranged from $2.50 to $4.50. It was quite pricey fro a flight of four. The wines were $8 for four one ounce pours. The staff was nice, but the placed closed too early (6:00 pm on a Saturday night)

I always have a really enjoyable experience when I come here. They have great trails that you can hike on during the summer and the winter the workers here are friendly and down to earth. And the food here is amazing.

Pond Hill Farm is a beautiful working farm with an excellent cafe. Smaller menu but everything is fantastic. Their pulled pork is a family favorite. Small kids menu but it gets the job done. The grounds are beautiful and has tons of places to discover and explore. Kids could be happy here all day. Would recommend for families with young kids.

Everyone was so friendly and loved all the homemade goodies! The kids loved feeding the goats and petting the pigs. Their flowers are beautiful and the cafe was so inviting to grab something to eat or drink and enjoy the view. The best for me was meeting Jax the dog, such a handsome boy!

The beautiful weather this September in Michigan provided an excellent setting for the always beautiful Pond Hill Farm!! Enjoyed lunch there with a friend-food and a large selection of beverages made for a wonderful experience.

We happened upon this place with pumpkins galore catching our attention. We stopped and saw how beautiful they made the pumpkins look! The little store is filled with yummy products and there are sweet piggies asking to be scratched nearby. They really cater to kids so nicely and offer some meals using locally grown food. Beautifully fun!

While on vacation, I ventured to Pond Hill with our two six year old daughters. We enjoyed the squash launcher, petting pigs, goats, and a chicken, and a snack a from the store.
What I appreciated was that the petting zoo wasn't there to be a cash cow. It was clear from the quality and variety of produce, that Pond Hill emphasis es their farm, winery, and cafe.... which is wonderful for this community! I hope to make it there for lunch later in the week !

Beyond the normal things anyone should love about this place such as beer wine and everything fresh, we absolutely loved feeding the trout!

Lots of things to do for both adults and children. The only negative thing I could say about it, is that it was very busy, but we went on a weekend. I feel the best time to visit would be during the week.

We bring our kids every year for the fall fun weekends. And every year it's a blast for all of us! Thanks!

We love to visit Pond Hill farms. I have 9 and 11 year old boys. First we purchase a bucket of potatoes or squash to launch in The "squash rockets". It's a life sized sling-shot. We all combine weight to get it to launch out farther.
Then this trip we went to u-pick strawberries. The berries were small but plentiful. And very tasty.
Then we take a quarter out to feed the fish at the pond. The rainbow and brown trout swim by to eat.
Next some years, we go into the back area to feed the goats and sometimes view the cows. They also have a tire swing in there.
There is a hay ride that will take you down to feed the fish.
They have a small cafe there and winery. The food is delicious and fresh but the kids didn't appreciate all the fresh foods. Adults loved it. I haven 't tried the winery yet
We go every year once or twice.
We enjoys it tremendously.
The staff is very friendly, patient with questions from kids, and knowledgable.
We visit the small shop on the way out and buy jam and homemade pickles.

Stopped here while on the Tunnel of Trees and had a great visit. They have a cute shop with many fruit preserves, pickles, soup mixes. Upstairs we enjoyed the wine and beer tasting, as well as an appetizer from the cafe. We had a wonderful visit and the two women tending bar were super friendly and engaging. It's a great place to check out.

We visited on a summer morning and it was a great choice. The kids (8, 10 and my 3 year old nephew) had a wonderful time on the playground, visiting the animals and launching potatoes from the squash rockets! We hiked to the pond (an easy and pretty hike) and then enjoyed a delicious lunch at the cafe.

Farm Raised Meats, Produce, Cheese, Milk, Fair Trade Coffee, Wine, Canned Goods Canned on Site, Barn Dances, Petting Zoo, Christmas Trees, Wreaths & Roping, Lunchens and Special Dinners. And So Much More!!!! Experience Pond Hill Farms!

Our family 7 adults and 3 young children came here to see the farm animals and for lunch. Lunch was very good, but don't come here if your in a rush. Pulled pork was very good according to those that had it. The in house made sides ( kale salad was delicious. ) I shared a cherry chicken wrap and that was very good. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

A delightful lunch and wine tasting experience in a beautiful location. The food was fresh and farm to table…who could ask for more?( fresh garden salad with fennel and smoked trout was amazing as was my husbands brisket burger). We purchased beautiful wine to take home and the shop had lots of well priced local goodies.( the raw honey is divine).
The whole experience was wonderful, friendly team, covid sensitive premises, great farm trails and the views from there over the valley were beautiful.

Great stop for anyone! Brewery, winery and cafe all on the property, along with a playground, sandbox and squash rocket. A great time for everyone.

Great please to spend an afternoon! Kids have multiple things to keep them busy. Adults can wine taste, beer taste, cider taste, and truly take their time, because the kids have so much to do, see, and play on.
The food is amazing and creative. The setting is quaint and kitch. It’s worth the drive to see this working farm/vineyard.

I stopped at here for dinner with a few friends. Lots of outdoor seating. We enjoyed a couple pizzas from their pizza oven, some fresh salads, beer and other drinks. This is a very laid back place that has room to walk around after enjoying a meal. Sometimes you want the certainty of a chain restaurant, sometimes you don't--this is definitely the later. Give it a try.

This lovely farm has so much to offer. We have stopped here a few times. This visit we had lunch and it was fabulous. It's a real farm to table experience. If you care about what you eat and where your food comes from then you will love it. The pulled pork with their homemade cherry barbecue sauce is so delicious. You will probably leave buying a bottle of the barbecue sauce...I did.

Sad to say we were disappointed with our visit to Pond Hill today. The only animals in the barn to feed were a pig with signs on his cage to not get too close because he bites, and two goats but one was in a small pen and we couldn't really see it. The chickens were neat but nothing spectacular. There weren't any pigs racing but two large hogs that were sleeping in the mud. The hard cider was delicious and it was definitely the best of the stops along the Trail of Trees but we didn't do any wine tasting because they were too busy. With three children (ages 7mos to 15 years) we were hoping for more. Nice for a visit but nothing to make a special trip out of the way for.

Read this on a leaflet and thought that looks very Interesting, can do both at the same time. The place was smaller than I thought and awe expected to be told a bit about the history of the place .But when you,hot there, they sat you at a table, brought the list of wines and beers, and you wrote done which ones you wanted to try.We were there maybe an hour.Four sptastes of wine and four five ounces of beer. You can choose to do just the wine or Beer or both.

I had a wonderful chicken wrap for lunch. I hadn’t been here in awhile for lunch and was really impressed by the menu and the presentations. Looking forward to going back soon.

The drive to get here is beautiful and combining it with a stop at the farm is a GREAT way to spend part of a day. They have a shop with all sorts of homemade items, then upstairs they have a farm-to-table restaurant and settled in the back is the tasting bar!
Great, friendly, knowledable staff and good options....beer, wine, cider at very reasonable tasting prices. They serve a few crackers and even chocolate to go with the tastings, as needed.
Was quite impressed with their cider and wines. Make sure you read the fun stories of how the farm got started, and pick up some yummy goodies from the shop...or even some veggies!!

Stopped in on way back from UP. Great staff and lots of fall activities. The restaurant was such a zoo we skipped it. The market had us parting with some money for blueberry preserves and dark sweet cherries in can. Worth a break along the drone through Michigan's tunnel of trees. No one beats michigan for fall color.

Drove up to Pond Hill Farm one day and it was closed (4th of July); but we were determined to visit, so back up there again the next day. Hey, a drive on M-119 is always a treat, anyway. Located about 5 miles north of Harbor Springs, on a curve, so don't miss it!
We had a lot of fun watching kids and even the adults, use the slingshot. You sling potatoes out into the field, where some sheep and goats were munching on grass. I am not sure about the possibility of bonking one of these animals on the head, but I guess they have considered such! Other playground equipment available.
The barn is very cool with a variety of animals to check out.
The store is unique. Lots of products and we came away with homemade marinara sauce, salsa, jams, cheese and a few other odds and ends. We have used them all and they were all excellent products. Very organic. Service was friendly, but they really should have two registers going during busy times, which they did not. They also have a greenhouse where you can purchase flowers, hanging baskets, etc. They all looked very healthy and well tended.
We did not have lunch here as expected, but they sure had a lot of people dining on the deck. On our list for the next time we are in the area. Parking is tight!

Great food, wonderful wine, awesome beer, beautiful land, and the nicest staff ever! Something to do for everyone! A must visit!

I can't wait to go back and try more entree's. It was so fresh and the portions were nice. I was down state yesterday and when I told someone I was from Harbor Springs, she said how much her husband and she loved it there too and that she wore her Pond Hill t-shirt on her trip to California! You're famous Pond Hill. Keep it up. See you soon.

We stopped on the recommendation of a friend. The farm is amazing. The tasting room and staff were very cool. We sat on the deck and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer and enjoyed the sunshine and atmosphere. Others were eating lunch which looked very good.

This is our second year visiting pond hill farm and it seems to have somehow gotten even better this year. The property is beautiful, the food is delicious and there’s so much to do and see with the family. I’ve recommended Pond Hill to anyone and everyone visiting the area and I will continue to do so.
The place for lunch an relaxation.
Ideal for friends, kids and family. Great menu for the
Vegan crowd. Meat and potato guys can get pulled pork and kabobs of various variety that will satisfy. Wines and beers of all description available. After dinner you can pick various ice cream flavors. Great group of jellies, salad dressing and veggies available at their store.
