Hadn’t been to Radio City for nearly 60-years. Attended the Rockettes Christmas Show this evening and was totally blown away. The digital light projections brings the whole theater alive, totally energetic and visually stunning. The Rockettes are totally in sync and the show was fantastic!
Love Love Love
Thank you

Fantastic, this was a once in a lifetime trip and the RCMH did not disappoint. Family and myself were very delighted to see the inside of this historic building and to see
the dancers and hear the music inside this famed building. Loved it.

Do it! It is definitely a must as you learn much of the history and get a great behind the scenes tour as well as meeting a rockette. We actually wished we'd booked to see the Christmas Spectacular afterwards - so if you get the chance we would recommend you do that as well.

Fantastic show, recommended to go early, otherwise the waiting time is very much. unique dance girls.

Beautiful venue!!! Saw Hugh Jackman here and it was truly incredible!! Loved the decor and concessions. Tried getting a picture on the flat area on the steps under a chandelier but was not allowed due to it being a “fire hazard”

OK the line getting into the theatre was poor and the security excessive, albeit understandable. Also think they need to review their policy for latecomers cos people being allowed to take their seats 20 mins after the show has started is unacceptable and out of line with most other theatres. However the whole show experience, including the organists pre show, was magical and memorable with stunning performers. We are very regular theatregoers back in the UK and this show is as good as it gets in terms of pure entertainment.

It's been decades since I have seen the Rockettes and it was just as wonderful as I remembered it when I was a kid. The ladies were amazing, precise and just so entertaining. It's a marvel how 26 ladies can dance in such unison, just flawless. The hall itself is a wonderful venue and they have incorporated a lot more high tech audio visual experience then I remembered. The whole hall becomes a large projection screen and it is very engaging. The virtuosity of the ladies is apparent in their dancing and it is so moving to see such dedication and appreciation to their craft. This is one of the most premiere shows for a dancer I am sure and everyone should see this show once in their lives!

Expensive, but worth it! We splurged on second row seats, but because of the performances on the sides of the theater, I think even halfway back or the front of the balcony might be a better option.
The synchronized dancing is truly spectacular and the singing is great.
We paid in advance for a picture of our daughter with a Rockette named Maddie. She was delightfully friendly.
The scene with Santa teaching two boys about the joy of giving was quite well done. Santa has a great singing voice.
We loved the nativity scene with live sheep, camels and a donkey. And the traditional religious Christmas music during this segment was lovely.
Our ten year old loved every minute. She was literally enthralled.
Overall beautifully done.

not only did we get the chance to go inside the building but had the pleasure of viewing the famous Rockettes in action

Go at night for good pictures of the sign. It’s a great area to walk around in even if you don’t get tickets to go inside. Iconic!

I don't think I can go to NYC without going to his amazing place. You can just feel the history with every step you take in this music hall. I LOVE it!

The Christmas show was beautiful, the living nativity was spectacular with full size camels on stage and over 30 or 40 performers in gorgeous costumes representing the 3 Kings and their court.., and of course the marvelous Rockettes.

Radio City Music Hall is run down and not worth the admission fee. The theater is nothing special and other areas viewed were in disarray and dirty. At the end of the tour you get to take a picture with a Rockette and keep the cardboard neck tag you're given, to wear during the tour. There were very few tourists during my visit.

I had looked at buying tickets for the Rockettes before my trip but decided to buy tickets once I arrived in New York . I had read reviews about being able to buy discounted tickets but never found how to do this. I went on Saturday and queued up in the box office. A gentleman came to join his wife who was queuing infront of me and then gave me a leaflet that offered a discount for the show. I thanked him and used the leaflet at the box office and got 40% off 2 1st mezzanine tickets. Right place right time. I went back and found the gentleman man and his wife to say I got the discount and thanked him again. We went to the show the next day and had an excellent view from the first mezzanine.

Went to radio city for the first time and seen the Christmas spectacular featuring the rockettes and what an amazing show the best Christmas show ever did not know where to look next from the 3D part to the rockettes all the Santas and all the lights lighting even free Santa hats once You get in everything amazing fantastic! worth every penny!!!!👍👏😁

Last minute decision via recommendations to see the Rockette's Christmas edition and we were overwhelmed by the dance, the animation and music! GO!

The Christmas show was purely and simply, amazing. Massive energy from the entire cast to entertain us. The marching sequences would put the Brigade of Guards to shame. Loved every single second. The nativity made me believe. Father Christmas made me believe. Never seen anything like it. Snow indoors. Do whatever you can to get there. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the tour of Radio City Music Hall last year. Fascinatiing history. Beautiful social rooms behind the scenes. Friendly tour guides. Well-worth the visit.

There's nothing like Christmas in New York and the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall is a must. Buy tickets ahead of time to avoid the last minute madhouse.

My second time seeing this show. There’s not recognizable change. Nevertheless, it’s always a pleasure getting dressed-up. #NYC forever! Go see it.

We went to see the Rockettes on Christmas Day.
It was a great experience from the minute we arrived in the queue, very friendly staff outside. When we entered the building we were blown away it. It’s nearly 100 years old and has stood the test of time. It’s vast with great architecture
We had cheap seats on the third mezzanine, which is a long way from the stage but still a great view.
I would definitely recommend spending a bit of time looking round the theatre which is a marvel.

I’m not going to get into the gory details here. Too long and detailed! The Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular show was just that.. spectacular! Would get a 5!
Their handicap friendliness would get a 1.. barely! Hence the overall 3 rating! This really put a damper on an otherwise great day!!!

the Rockettes is a show not to be missed. The building was amazing and the show was indeed a spectacular.

We didn't go to see the show, but all agreed that Radio City and the surrounding area is a must see at Christmas time. Radio City is beautifully decorated and just across the road were enormous Christmas baubles and oversized lights as well as the nearby Rockerfeller Centre and it's amazing tree. Makes you feel like a big kid all over again. Well worth a viist.

The Radio City Rockettes Christmas show is amazing! I do think that there is too much video/lights...I'd like more of the dancing/singing. The 3D is too much, but the show was great!

Let me first say the Rockette show was unbelievable and I would absolutely see it again but the entire process of getting into the building was horrible, and quite frankly a little unsafe.
I saw the late show on December 29th. When my friends and I arrived there wasn’t really anything that showed us where to line up, it seemed like it was just a big crowd on the sidewalk. This led to people cutting line, pushing and shoving. There was almost a fight between the people standing behind me. We finally made it to the doors and it got even worse. I’m not sure if something was going on inside but they didn’t open up early enough to get everyone inside in time for the show. More pushing and shoving to get inside. People were pushing to get through the doors. It felt like we were going to be run over before we made it to security. No one from RCMH was outside to direct people or enforce lining up procedures. I was still outside 5 minutes before show time. Barely made it inside in time. The show started a little late due to this and there were still several people getting to their seats up to 15 minutes into the show.
Not sure why this was so inefficient, I’ve never heard of such problems here before. Maybe it was just a one time thing but it was not a good experience at all.

It was one of the best shows I have ever seen, words cannot describe the beauty of the show. It is a must see.

Beautiful large lobby with a huge chandelier. It seats 6,000 & the seats are very comfortable. All seats have a good view of the stage.

The Christmas Show is spectacular! There are many restaurants around so eat before you go. There is food available in Radio City but much better else where, The tree is down the block. Watch out for pickpockets.

We didnt see anything at RCMH but just visited the outside to say we had seen it. Looks cool lit up at night. Worth seeing it if walking in the area.

Great show! Took the whole family, parents and kids. Organized for the volume of people. Expensive snacks - get them elsewhere.
1 1/2 hour without intermission - great lenght for most ages.

We have seen the Rockettes two years in a row. While the show was the same, so was the entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It just brings a smile to my 17-year old daughter’s face. She loves dance and this show brings it all. It certainly hits the Christmas theme all out.
While the amount of people circling to get into the building for each performance can seem daunting, we arrived about 30 minutes early and got in with plenty of time. In fact, we were some of the first to our seats. (There are lots of concessions/souvenir stands and the theatre itself is quite stunning.).

What a beautiful venue. The chandelier welcomes you with a beautiful glow. You get funneled in very quickly and rushed to your seats so it is tough to take it all in. The restroom line is long and can block upper level entrance. A beautiful show lighting and staging very enjoyable.

Radio city hall beautiful from the outside and beautiful inside. Christmas show to see for both adults and children. We have been twice over Christmas in New York and twice seen the Rockettes show. Wonderful flats, top a perfect synchronization.
Show recommended.

It was an amazing show. We had a wonderful time. They do a great job of using the entire theater for the show. Every direction we looked there was something new going on. I totally understand why the show has been a holiday for 100 years.

We came to New York last year during the Christmas season and did many wonderful things, but the Rockettes were what brought us back. It’s stunning, it’s joyous, it’s everything Christmas! Come prepared for a long, poorly organized line to get in, and for a few rude audience members to ignore the cellphone rule, distracting other guests no matter how many times they have been asked not to do this. But do come to see this spectacular show!

Amazing show!!!! My family and I were blown away by the music, dance routines and special effects. The theater smelled like Christmas! So glad we got to experience this show.

Always wanted to check out the Rocketts and finally got a ticket to the show this year. The place is huge. The show tickets says that I need to be here one hour early and it was just right amount of time to get in, settled, bathroom etc. So much fun!

Another must see on our trip was the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular having read all the reports about it. A really enjoyable evening, a superb show in a great setting.
The only thing that spoiled the experience was the attitude of some of the female security staff, some of whom were just down right rude, especially after the show when they told us to leave the building and that we couldn't wait in the lobby for our daughters who had gone to use the rest room - they didn't ask or care how old the girls were they just wanted us out.

Saw the Christmas Rockettes famous show. Fabulous, fast, super costumes and light projections all over the theatre interior. Great dancers if a little old fashioned. enjoyed it all. Prepare for very long 45 minute wait in queues for security to get into the building. Three lines went nearly a block,,

You must take in the Rockettes Show if visiting at Xmas time. Very entertaining and enjoyable. Seating id better than most NYC theatres

Love this building, it is so iconic building. Was hoping to catch a gig here, but shall wait for one that catches my attention. Would love to have experienced this place in it's heyday

We watched the 10:00 pm showing of the Christmas Spectacular on 11/29. Get there AT LEAST an hour before the show, getting in was horrendous and an absolute cluster. Having tickets beforehand will get you no where. Eat before you arrive, snacks are limited and low quality. Someone from our hotel said her popcorn was very stale. I got the pretzel and ended up getting sick. There are tons of employees there and most of them are very rude, but some were nice and helpful. There is only one set of bathrooms and they do not accommodate many people at all. I was not impressed.

Came here for 5 nights to see the legend that is Barry Manilow! We had middle orchestra seats which were perfect. I’m on the large side but the seats were roomy with plenty of leg room. The building itself is lovely but my only niggle is that in the public areas seats were lacking, plenty in the restrooms but who wants a drink or a snack in the rest rooms. After the first night we had pre show drinks next door in the Rockefeller center, much more comfy.
After the show it was chaotic outside but fortunately our hotel was within walking distance.

Do not buy tickets to this performance through helotickets.com. They're crooks. I paid the money, and I was sent tickets without a bar code. My wife and I weren't allowed to go to the show because the controllers thought my tickets were fake. The website helotickets. com of course refused to refund the money. The ticketmaster checkout staff at the Radio City Hall box office wouldn't help me, and they were very rude to me. I got a moral humiliation.

This was our first time visiting Radio City and we were not disappointed. Such a beautiful building. The Rockettes were amazing and we really enjoyed the show. Loved getting the santa hat on exit as it got us in the festive spirit. Drinks are expensive but that was expected.Frozen daquiri was tasty and got to keep the cup which I took back to England as a souvenir. Would love to see them again and would recommend.

Joe Hisaishi performance is unforgettable experience! Thank you Radio City for bringing him to NYC! The venue itself is magical and iconic.

Went last September to see Alec Benjamin. It was splendid. We got V.I.P tickets and didn't need to wait long at all, but while we were waiting me and my mom who I went with had a nice conversation with some of the lovely staff members. they were all very kind and overall joyful which was very nice. Once in our seats I was amazed. It's a very big and beautiful theater with outstanding lighting. The audio was great, staff was great, venue was great, performance was great. Everything was just so great! I'd 100% recommend. It's also one of the most ICONIC theaters in NYC! If you're thinking of going.. do it!

We were in New York visiting our daughter and decided to see the Rockettes Christmas Show since we saw it in our home state many years ago and really enjoyed it. Well, it was fantastic! Seeing it in New York was truly an unforgettable experience that everyone should definitely do when they visit. Radio City is a beautiful venue and the individuals that worked there were very warm and friendly. The show was top notch and the dancers spectacular. I really can’t say enough good things about this show. It really puts you in the holiday spirit.

Although we didn’t plan for it, we were able to get tickets to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, and it was even better than my great memories of seeing it 30 or 35 years ago! The dancing was great, of course, but the use of images all over the ceiling and the walls to add to the visual impact of the show was new (for me) and very effective. I did not remember how big the hall is, or that there are TWO theater organs (one on each side) that contribute to the show, or just how much fun it was, so I was very pleased with our last minute decision to go.

We went to see the Rockettes Christmas Show....we had great seats and the show was exciting....the building was very beautiful...everybody should make the show if you are in the city...especially the Christmas Show...MUST SEE

Pretty good for photo ops. Perhaps VERY VERYYY crowded. Try your best to come at night since its the best time to come.

I have heard about Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes my whole life. It surpassed my expectations. The hall itself is beautiful. The show was very well done, kept our attention throughout.

We purchased tickets online prior to the show. We had great seats but I don't think there are any bad seats in the house. 3D glasses were given to us upon entry for a very cute 3D experience. My favorite part of the show was seeing them as toy soldiers and I loved the fact that the birth of Christ was incorporated in the show, especially since it was Christmas. A wonderful experience.

Me and my family first time at Music Hall. It is very stunning and beautiful. We enjoyed a Christmas show which was amazing, fun, and entertaining.Well recommended. Thumbs Up.

Best show in town. A must see!
Great Performance, very Good places and organisation.
Don’t miss it!!!
Expensive but worth it!

Several years ago I was doing work for a corporate client in NYC who gave me hospitality tickets to the Christmas Spectacular - ignorant Brit that I was I had no idea what it was went back to the hotel where my wife was and told her we could go if she wanted to - she seized on the tickets - told me I was a peasant and that it was one of the top shows for Christmas - in short we had a great time.
Forward to 2019 and we're in NYC pre-Christmas and picked up tickets for the late show on Saturday 21st December - once again it was spectacular - this is THE Christmas show no doubt about it - some of the routines have to be seen to be believed.
My one criticism that stops it being a 5* review was security - I fully get the need for tight security but I'm afraid that what I witnessed was more like a circus than a top end musical.

Just simply stunning, The Art Deco styling throughout this building is the pinnacle of 1930's New York city, taking in a show here is a must see in any visit to new York.

We saw the amazing Christmas Spectacular and I was slack jawed at the venue, the auditorium, the theatre and the performances!!! You must go and see something there- truly mind boggling!!

It has been 30 years since I came here with my children and today I took my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter. I had doubts
that a three year old would be entertained for the duration of the show, but I was wrong. She was totally engaged with Santa, the Rockettes and the graphics on the ceiling and walls! The show is timeless although changed somewhat but still
showcases the Rockettes and their outstanding precision! As a bonus, we all
received Santa hats with our ticket purchase!

I was able to see the Rockettes week before Christmas! It was everything I had anticipated and more!!

Such a beautiful building. Inside and out.
We visited for the Rockettes show and the design of the whole building is extraordinary.
Staff are lovely. Thank you for being so welcoming.

The theater was fabulous and ornate. We were put on teh wrong floor by 2 ushers and "reseated" by a third when they realized we were in somebody else's seats. The Rockettes cannot be beat. What an imaginative and beautiful show.

The tour was amazing and took about hour and half. The behind the scenes and personal Q&A with a Rockette was interesting. It will be difficult for someone who cannot do stairs although elevators are available.

Spectacular!!!!!! You need to see this show! Santa hats, glittering costumes, and Christmas music!! I've seen this show before, but I would see it again.

Another of the many must-do and must see’s in New York. This is an excellent venue and world famous. Well worth a visit and great place to catch a show.

Radio City Music Hall is a beautiful venue, we went to see the Rockettes Christmas show. Truly amazing, made our trip that extra Speacial. Don't bother with getting seats at the front, get them right at the back, it's cheaper and you get the full effect of the show and can still see everything. It was pure magic!

We saw the "Christmas Spectacular" and it was just that - spectacular! One of the best shows for the whole family - and wow - the theater is amazing. Highly recommend taking your whole family to enjoy this experience.

The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular never fails to delight. A treat for all ages from the opening number to the last! If in NYC at Christmas time, it will rev up your Christmas spirit.

Radio city music hall is beautiful inside and out. We say the Rockettes Christmas show. This is not a political correct holiday show, it’s an honest Christmas show with Santa and baby Jesus with a complete nativity. I was so pleased. 48 dancing Santa’s and one that doesn’t dance. It has cheese 3D stuff in your face, a live orchestra and dual pipe organs. I loved everything.

The Rockettes and Christmas Spectacular was excellent and worth every penny or should I say dollar. We will be back!!!

We really enjoyed the rockettets. We would definitely go again. We sat in the second mezzanine and the seats were good.

Is there anything more New York than the Christmas show at Radio City? It manages to be big, entertaining, light-hearted, serious and spiritual in less than 90 minutes. The Rockettes are superb entertainers and true specialists in their art. Production quality is what one would expect of Broadway. In short, a most wonderful time and probably one of the best ways to kick off the Christmas season—ever!

A must do for immersion in American Culture! Slick, sparkly and sentimental. I guess it’s the US version of pantomime. The Rockettes are something to behold and the use of tech with the 3D glasses , and projection was incredibly well done . It was 90 mins of commercial Christmas with a dose of the biggest nativity you will ever see including a real camel, sheep and donkey. Totally suited to children . Did we enjoy it yes ... would we go again no !

This is an old world music hall but unless you have tickets for the show, you are not able to go inside. It’s still worth visiting.

The historic Radio City Music Hall. Coming to watch the Rockettes and the Christmas show is iconic. We had a spectacular time watching the show. I was totally mesmerized by the production, the dancing and music. What an experience! I highly recommend this show for anyone, at least once in your lifetime. The theater is magnificent, spacious and luxurious. We totally enjoyed our time there. Can’t wait again for next year!

We came to New York for Christmas and everywhere was so festive. Radio City was decorated nicely to get in with the Christmas spirit. We did not get to go inside or see a show which is a shame, maybe next time!

This isn't a review, but a question. We just booked tickets to go with our 9 and 7 year old. We cannot wait! Question, where is a good place to get something to eat close by that is festive?
Thanks!

We were one of the last shows before they closed down due to Covid. It was a great show with lots of Christmas spirit.

They gave us tickets to the Christmas show. Something exciting beautiful an unforgettable experience. I hope I can return

Again
Here!Again in this amazing theatre to watch the Christmas spectacular. This time my seat was front but right side.I have to advice to choose a seat in the middle but no necessarily front,is better to be back. The reason is that seating back you can watch better the enormous screen and the amazing 3D ceiling. The first time I were at the second mez and even though I were far from the scene it was better due to panoramic watching.Anyway the theatre is amazing and the spectacle AMAZING too!

Recently visited here with my family for a tour. Our guide Timothy was fantastic great knowledge of the history of the building. Incredible theatre its huge, fantastic art deco design. This was our first visit to New York from the UK, I would definately suggest a visit here it's great

Radio City Music Hall is impressive to look at from the outside and is grand on the inside. Worth attending any of the shows inside this famous hall. Certainly would very highly recommend visiting the same to any traveler.

A wonderful experience! The show and the Rockettes were more than perfect.
So entertaining. A New York must.

It's pretty much one of those things you have to do in NYC. Saw the Christmas Spectacular here. It was ok. The theatre itself is huge, staff were trying their best but there are so many people who keep taking photos or videos that its very distracting to try and watch anything.

We all loved this one, epscically my wife and daughter. The performance really gets everyone in the Xmas spirit.

If you love the dance sequences in the old black and white films, you love this. Over thirty dancers gave a flawless performance with a range of dance sequences.

When in New York you must go to Radio City Music Hall and catch a show. We managed to get tickets for the Christmas Spectacular whilst we were there. What a place, seating for up to 6000 people and it was so organised, although there was a queue we didn’t wait too long as it was controlled so well. When inside the decoration was fabulous very festive and welcoming. The show itself was out of this world and added to the holiday festive spirit. As I said you must catch a show here without fail I will say you won’t be disappointed.

We attended the Christmas Spectacular and words can not fully describe this experience. This was our first time ever visiting & I wasn't sure what to expect. Needless to say I was blown away. The rockettes are so precise it's amazing! The show was so much more than I ever would have expected. The 3D effects were so amazing. It's a must see!

We have been to the City many times, but this was the first time at this classic venue. The show was amazing, as is the building. While not cheap, it is well worth going.

Went on December 3, by Bus. The traffic into the city was terrible. That evening was the tree lighting ceremony in Rockefeller center. We came out of the Rockettes show and the streets were closed, security was set up and the mob was growing. It was difficult navigating that area.

Bought our tickets the day before went about two hours before showtime and lined up an hour before, line moved fast, very organized and we loved the interior and were directed to our seats quickly. Fantastic show.

You have to experience this at least once during Christmas season. You won't be disappointed. It's beautiful

We saw the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and loved it! We saw as much of the building as we could before and after the show. It is beautiful! Seating is comfortable and relatively spacious with plenty of leg room.

If your in New York around Christmas time watching the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular is a MUST! It was amazing, never seen a theatre/music hall use the ceiling and walls for effects before which made the whole experience more magical. It’s quite short, just over an hour. But well worth it. Made us feel all Christmassy and child like. The Nativity scene was amazing also, and had real life camels/sheep on stage! Would recommend The Champagne cocktail @ $16 was lovely.

I saw a December show of the Rockets a few years ago and it was great! Yes, food was pricey, and it was packed, but what isn’t in the city nowadays? I highly recommend seeing the Christmas Rocket show if you can. It’s worth it!

This is an iconic New York theatre. It’s a huge venue but highly organised. Definitely need to book in advance. Recommended

The venue was beautiful, the show was fabulous! We attended the last day for this years run & the show was not sold out. However the public & lobby areas before & after the show were unbelievably crowded.

Nothing I imagined. Totally more - adding 3D was great. It was geared to all ages. worth the money. It seemed like you were going to wait in line forever, but you didn't. They were very organized with handling the crowd.

As amazing as I remembered! Hadn’t been back since I was 16 and now I got to share it with my own teenage daughter! Truly magical and so memorable at the holidays!

Amazing place!!! The Rockettes are the best, the whole show was incredible! The story, the lights and the dancers was stunning!

I went to see Tony, Toni, Tone on 09/30/23@8p.m. I know this is for tours. However I had to write this review. The staff at Radio City that night was so awesome And I mean everyone. First let me Thank David I pray that's your name you made sure my husband had a wheelchair you were awesome. Thank you Jose for the exit escort wheelchair service. Thank you to the guy outside holding the sign directing traffic to 50th street he saw my husband needed help and he immediately jumped into action to get the needed help. Thank-You all for making our 36th anniversary celebration special. I cried everyone was so pleasant.

A wonderful family event/ very clever in so many ways.
But We were so cold in the theatre- there was a draft somewhere and fans blowing cold air. We were in the orchestra level- so wear thermals if it’s December!
Quite expensive for 1.5 hour performance. $106 per person .

The tour was really cool and our guide was funny and very well informed. You can learn so much about this place and its' history.

This was a tour worth taking. The Hall is beautiful, and the tour was interesting, including a stop to meet one of the Rockettes. The tour includes areas you would not see just by attending a show. The gift shop is next door and offers a discount when you show your tour ticket.

We had a great time seeing the Rockettes. The 90 minute show was action packed including animals and incredible dance numbers. The tickets were just north of $100 for decent balcony seats.

It takes a lot more time to get in than when I was here the last time. Security at entrance takes a long time and they ask you to be in line a minimum of one hour before the show. It was worth the wait. The show was fantastic and those that did not pay attention to the warning to get there early missed the 3D introduction.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes was so much fun! My whole family enjoyed the performance, live orchestra, incredible dancers, and holiday spirit. The theater is huge and the seats were so comfortable!

I had that great treat of seeing the Radio City Christmas Spectacular this year. I first saw this show when I was a teenager and when I later moved to NYC this show has become a continual tradition in my home. Seeing the crowds over the years, I typically attend a weeknight show as I did this year. There are entrance/ security lines on both 50 and 51st Street and each side is well staffed so that the lines move fairly quickly. I tend to aim to get in line early (30-45 minutes before show time) in case of big crowds. Proof of vaccination is required for entry and there is hand sanitizer available in the house as well. The show was wonderful! There were some slight revisions in both the script and choreographies in certain routines. Seeing this show annually for several years, I found these changes interesting as I find a sense of comfort in the classic routines. It is a wonderful show and I wish I could go a second time!

Having visited the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in England and being so impressed, we thought we would try what we thought would be the New York equivalent. Both shows were spectacular. Similar in some ways and very different in others.
Choreography was perfect with the Rockettes and the Soldier act/dance was something not to be missed. You could hear a pin drop as they concluded, anticipation filled the air and we were all holding our breaths as the dancers got our undevided attention. Bravo to all concerned.
The stage was much smaller for the Radio City Show andf less variety of acts but both are equal in being a must see.

This theater is perfect for concerts because you don’t feel that far away from the artist, it is comfortable, has easy access and although drinks are usually a little expensive they have a lot of variety.

The rockette never disappoint. The show at Christmas is truly spectacular. Show started on time, no trouble finding our seats. Bathrooms after are super crowded. I just love it.

Absolutely loved the show and the atmosphere. Such a beautiful venue. I did not like how they crammed us into the hall way like sardines unable to move until the doors opened 10 minutes before the show started. It was such a fire hazard and so unsafe because no one could move an inch. Completely ridiculous.

We spent a fun Christmas night watching the Rockettes show. Maybe a little touristy, but hey, we are in NYC at Christmas time. Can't miss out! Lovely theater and fun show. Very crowded getting in but staff were very efficient in getting everyone in and out.

The Christmas Spectacular has been on my bucket list since I was a child. I finally convinced (forced) my husband to go this year and we were both blown away by the whole production and the Rockettes were amazing!

Went to Radio City Music Hall for a concert . The venue is beautiful, the event staff is very helpful and friendly. The venue has very beautiful murals. The concert we went to sounded very good. Beautiful venue for a concert, you will enjoy it.

The Christmas show with the Rocketts was fabulous. Our family of 8 loved the production. Everything was wonderful and keeping the birth of Christ in the performance was so inspiring. Thank you. Most memorable of our six days in NYC

We didn't have time to see a show or do the stage door tour while on our visit but we just had to go down to take a look at this iconic building.
We went down at night and again in the day, obviously the addition of the tree and surrounding Christmas decs make it look even more awesome.
When we went during the day there was the most amazing traffic police lady who showed us where to stand when the traffic lights where red to get a fab picture in front of the building.
We were so glad we took the time to go down and see the famous "Radio City" and a big shout out to the lovely police lady who was just so friendly and lovely to us.

The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular is the greatest stage show my family and I have ever seen. The venue is gorgeous with plenty of opportunity to buy merchandise. Everyone shouild see this show at least once! The singing and dancing are beyond compare!

Radio City’s 100th anniversary Christmas performance was breathtaking. The digital effects added a fun element to the performance. The history and elegance of the Hall are magnificent.

An absolute must see!! Although a bit pricey wouldn’t miss it ! It’s the smiley feel good factor ! Don’t miss it

Rockettes Christmas Spectacular was absolutely as amazing as you think it will be. Worth the ticket price twice over! We all had a fabulous time!

The building itself it beautiful, very reminiscent of 1920s glam and is fab to walk around. The rockettes show I was very much looking forward too, the seats were very comfortable and the view great from row j in the 2nd mezzanine. However the show I found disappointing, the opening was amazing, it seemed to go off piste in the middle and annoyingly turned into some nativity at the end, which if I wanted to watch a nativity I could have done so at a school for much cheaper back home, such a shame.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE, WE WENT TO HALLOWEEN AND THE NEXT DAY, WHICH WAS NOVEMBER 1, THE CHRISTMAS TREE ALREADY TURNED ON!!! WE DIDN'T EXPECT IT!!! IT WAS REALLY BEAUTIFUL.

Came here last night to see Barry Manilow in concert for my mom’s birthday & had such a great time! Upon checking in we were told our seats had been upgraded to the orchestra & that was a nice surprise! Very beautiful inside & the staff were very nice. Very crowded so leave yourself extra time to get there early & of course expect to take a little while to get out & head home. The seats were comfortable & a decent amount of leg room.

Far better than expected, the staff moved the lines through fairly fast, even through the annoying metal detectors, and ushers showed you your seat. Show was incredible, included a 3D Santa animation delivering gifts that actually WAS in 3D. Several skits, moving props on stage, several costume changes by the Rockettes including the wooden soldiers. Seats are staggered so even if you are in back you can see fine. Be ready for a lot of crowds outside and expensive ($7.00 each) hot dogs at street vendors. Would definitely go again!

The Rockettes and the theater are amazing. Sounds tourist and corny but it’s truly an unexplainable experience. Always makes you a kid again ....magical!!!!!

Never been to RCMH before. I loved it. The inside of the building was a iconic and beautiful as the outside. Went in April to see Olivia Rodrigo there and what a show!

We went to see Jon Baptiste at Radio City Music Hall. The sound was wonderful. Jon Baptiste was wonderful. I just wish we had set up closer. I didn't realize how large this hall is. There are over 6,000 seats. This was not a tour.

You will love this classic Christmas show. Exceptionally executed at every level. It was reasonable ,excepetional, fun, and will put you in the Christmas spirit.

Absolutely great show with the Rockettes doing the Christmas spectacular, quite the best thing I have done in New York on many visits (and I don't really like shows) but I would do this again if I have chance.
The must do experience in the festive season in NY.

Wow! The only word I can think of to describe our experience at this facility. My wife and I have seen live shows on cruise ships, in Branson Missouri, in Vegas and many other venues but nothing can compare with this show. Absolutely the greatest show in the greatest facility we have ever seen. Truly amazing musically and visually . Everything we could have imagined and more!

Just wonderful. The guide, Mr. Declan, made this experience unique. I will have to thank him for the passion he made in his work allowing the visitors to experience something that will remain unforgeted. Thanks Vote 10

Was handed a voucher for the show from times square and rather than queue at tix I went to radio city and got a much cheaper price than was advertised there.
The show was fantastic, if you're not feeling festive after it I'm not sure what would!

The place is beautiful. The show was fun. We had great seats in the orchestra. The seats in the upper most balcony were a bit scary, the nose-bleed section. We visited that section on the backstage tour we took which I highly recommend also.

This is a beautiful old building with a lot of history behind it. You can get good pictures from a lot of directions. It’s right in the heart of things.

Radio City Music Hall is one of the largest theaters in the USA with more than 6000 seats.
With twin dual organs, one on each side of the main stage the pre show organists extend out into the audience area to provide wonderful music leading up to the main event. When it's curtain time these extended organ platforms retreat back into the walls from where they came. The holiday show we saw in December was a nice mix of Rockettes dancing and signing, great live orchestra accompaniment, and a unique Bethlehem story with live camels, donkeys, and sheep. Just arrive early and the lines to get in won't be too bad.

On Thanksgiving night we saw the Christmas Spectacular and could not have been more pleased. The actors did an amazing job. The set and stage were remarkable. A must see if you are in NYC at Christmas time.

Seeing the Rockettes performance here is absolutely outstanding! This is definitely something everyone needs to do! Our seats were the best in house if you as me. Row A 501 and 502. This is such a stunning venue. The bathroom line was horrific. Arrive early to check in and go to the bathroom.

We went to the Christmas Spectacular, and it was purely magical! The Rockettes were incredible, and had that Broadway wow factor. I would absolutely recommend.
We paid about $70 a ticket (from queuing at TKTS in Times Square on the day) they were central on the first tier, which was a good view.
The inside of the building is mind blowing, the vastness of the inside, foyer and staircase is really quite breathtaking!!!!
Just be prepared to be royally ripped off on any refreshments. A glass of wine is $15 and a pretzel or coffee $7.50 each.

Great show in a beautiful venue. Our seats were very good even though they were obstruct viewing. There was nothing that we couldn’t see.

Radio City Music Hall is clearly among the biggest landmarks of New York City. This theater is well-decorated, and it can be found at 50th Street and 6th Avenue (within the heart of Rockefeller Center). The staff was friendly, and the Rockettes show was great to watch. I toured this theater a few decades ago, and I also enjoyed it. There were restrooms and concessions which were available. This theater is quite big, but the lines go fast through security and on the stairs. The entry price was not cheap, but it was worth the cost.

my seat was in JJ. Acclaimed partially obstructed view, however not enough to even be bothered by. However the ticket was only $45 vs $204 for Center stage seating. Saw the Rockettes there they were amazing

Finally saw a show here after 25 years of visiting NYC (Hugh Jackman), thought it was a first rate venue but it is awesomely large but although I was sitting towards the back of the central stalls, the sound was excellent and I could see what was happening (unlike some venues like the O2, drunken foolishness with people standing up to block my line of sight and talking and timelessly singing/shouting was at a minimum), but sitting up on the balcony, the view might not have been so good. The lineups might not be to some people’s taste (and it certainly wasn’t cheap) but it’s well worth visiting.

Excellent show which was professionally staged. Dancers were very synchronized and visual effects were fantastic!

We go every year to see the Christmas Show with my adult children. We really like it but it is the same every year. Getting boring.

Our first time at Radio City for the Christmas show, it is truly spectacular. The famous dancers are everything I’ve heard about and more! Loved the live animals for the nativity scene as well.

NYC is a crazy place any time of the year but on our trip the Sunday before Christmas the crowds were unbelievable. However, everyone was courteous; it must be the holiday spirit!!
The show at Radio City Music Hall was spectacular, really put us into the holiday season. Seats in the mezzanine were expensive but worth every penny.
Something everyone should see at least once.

Went to the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular for the first time and will never forget the expeience. Radio City is the greatest venue on the planet and the show is unrivaled anywhere. If the opportunity presents YOU MUST DO THIS!

We sat in the center of the balcony and had terrific views! It was a full house, but the concession was well staffed and went fast. Seating was well marked and the Rockettes were Amazing!!

Seeing this show has always been on my bucket list of "must things to do while in New York City", with the classic Rockettes dancers! Much to my surprise, there was a huge cast in addition to the dancers who beautifully conveyed the Christmas story. Having been a part of many musical theater productions myself, I marveled at not only the gorgeous costuming and incredibly creative lighting and scenery design, but also the fantastic full live orchestra! Everyone should see this show at least once in their lives!

We went to the Barry Manilow concert and it was awesome. If you visit NYC then you must make a point to see this venue. If you live in the city then you know all about it.

Iconic venue, great acoustics and a wonderful highly recommend the Rockettes Christmas show. Entry is a little bit of a cluster so recommend you get there 45 minutes to 1 hour early.

We went to see the Christmas Spectacular and the Rockettes were amazing. I can't even describe watching the soldiers fall backwards like dominoes....

We'd previously done a tour of Radio City Music Hall, and on this trip to New York we saw the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. This is venue is unparalleled, not only in New York but perhaps throughout the world.

The best radio station and broadcaster I’ve been to is on the morning, and I like it so much , thnx the amazing staff and other people….

We watched the Rockettes Christmas show. Beautiful historical theater, excellent acoustics, impeccable organization. We quickly accessed and witnessed the wonderful Rockettes show that enraptured us. A wonderful memory that will remain indelible.

Spending Christmas in New York and we booked a show to see the world famous Rockettes at Radio City - we were not left disappointed. Great venue, smooth entrance and fabulous show

We stopped in at the theater the afternoon of the show and got great seats. It was a sell out show too. The show was great. I was very pleased. If you are ever in NYC close to Christmas, go see their Christmas show.

Attended the 2019 Holiday show, and was so impressed. The integration of tech graphics, the orchestra, live animals, the chorale singers, and of course the phenomenal Rockettes, into the sets was perfect. I hadn't been to Radio City in years, and it was as exceptional as I remembered.

Before the internet and television were things there was radio and Radio City Music Hall was where many shows in the USA were broadcast from.
The building is very grand and in keeping with the style when radio was king. I particularly love the ventilation grates on the side of the building with stylised patterns.

It was the only place which had a show open on Thanksgiving evening. It was perfect for us tourists who didn’t know what to do on that evening in NYC since we don’t have any friends or family in this city. There was one break in the show. And long lines at bar.

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough! Glen was our tour guide and led us on an amazing tour of the building! It’s such a beautiful place to visit and Glen was informative and very funny. Definitely do this tour!

I go every year to see the radio city rockettes. I love radio city. It is a beautiful theater. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. The Decour and design of the theater is breathtaking. Radio City is soo New York.

You might be worried that the Christmas Spectacular would be kitschy or just too crowded to be enjoyable. Yes, parts of the show seem nostalgic in a tired way, and the line for the women's room was ridiculous, but the precision dancing of the Rockettes was breathtaking. It's a must-do even for the jaded traveler. Just be aware that the theater is enormous, so consider splurging for seats at the front of the house.

We saw the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular show at the Radio City Music Hall. spectacular is the perfect word as it is the best show I've ever seen and I've seen a few. Worth every penny and then some. WONDERFUL.

If you have to go to the bathroom do not show up to the Christmas how early b/c they won't let you use the bathroom even though the tour of the hall is open and there is a bathroom break they won't let you use the bathroom until the tour reaches that area! We tried to buy a tour ticket before the show and they couldn't promise us we'd be allowed to use the bathroom right away...we would have to wait until we reached the spot! I told them you don't want puke on your pretty red carpet do you???

What can I say? You will not believe your eyes if you can get into this showplace! It is only open for special events and concerts, but when it opened in the depths of the Great Depression in 1932, you could see a movie and a great stage show for like 50 cents!! The architecture inside is breathtaking, starting with the palaital main lobby. Inside the 6000 seat auditorium are an orchestra section and three balconies. The acoustics are fantastic! The lighting can gradually change from neutral to red, yellow, green, blue, whatever. There are also tours of the place when no shows are playing, most often during the daytime. They are also terrific.

This was our first time in NY and we're not really 'show' people, but seeing the Rockettes was someting I had to do. It was a great show, the hall is beautiful. Very classic and retro. I will say this is not the place to get a snack/drink, very expensive. I recommend getting there early and getting seated. The line outside can get pretty long.

Come to RCMH even if you don't go in for the Christmas Spectacular. Right across the street is Rockefeller Center and the Christmas tree, and everything in this area is decorated and festive. A must see if you're in NYC.

This was my 2nd time to see the Rockettes at Radio City. This time my daughter and niece were with me and the girls absolutley loved the show. Great experience for the young teens and parents a like.

Great show! We took my mom for her 80th birthday as a suprize. She loved it so did we. We sat in the orchestra all the way to the left to save a little money. I have to say I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.

Radio City Music Hall is a long standing New York City Iconic building on Sixth Avenue. Very lively part of the city and a must see.

Radio City Music Hall is an American classic and an American treasure. The variety of shows, the quality of the performances is always enhanced by the environment of this venue.

Saw The Rocketts Christmas Show. AMAZING! Such synchronized movements, wonderful sets, fantastic transitions between numbers, and great lighting and effects. The theater is gorgeous! Seats are comfortable. Definitely worth the trip.

Radio City - Rockettes’ Christmas Show
We were considering buying tickets for a show on Times Square during our recent stay in New York. However, whilst walking along 6th Avenue, we saw the bright lights of Radio City and their Christmas Show. The first day of the season was Friday 8th November 2019 and it runs until 5th January 2020. The tickets were very reasonable compared to some of the prices charged at the TKTS Ticket Booths for discounted seats at the Broadway Shows which were up to $120 each at a discounted rate!
We went in to the Radio City Box Office in person and bought tickets for the first show at 11am the next day. We managed to get to really good seats for $45 dollars each. We were sitting in what is called ‘The Orchestra’ down stairs just of centre to the right and about two thirds back.
The show was amazing with the special effects across the massive dome shaped ceiling as well as the engaging actors and dancers in what was the balcony boxes each side of the stage.
The Rockettes are simply awesome in their festive outfits. There are 36 on stage at any one time and all of their dancing skills including the Can Can was superb. The best and most clever act was the toy soldiers performance. When they have finished, they all fall down on top of each other in line with a domino effect.
There is a story to the whole show and it is a magical treat for the festive period for children and adults alike. You even get a free Santa hat for the performance which you can take home with you.
Summary: An absolute must if you are in New York and, without a doubt, will get you in to the festive spirit! Fabulous show and so pleased we made the decision to see this rather than your standard Broadway Show. Highly recommend to all.

My wife and I saw Lionel Ritchie at Radio City Music Hall and it was a truly ‘wow’ experience. We plan to return to this iconic theatre soon. There can be no better place to see your favourite entertainers.

Outstanding show. Great costumes. Hugh talent. Rich story.
Rockettes are the best dancers. All were in complete sync.

Back stage tour was excellent and spur of the moment use of our pass. The guide was so friendly and gave such a great insight into this iconic music hall steeped in NY history. A definite recommendation.

We attended the 11am November 26 performance of Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. The 1 1/2 hour show was wonderfully choreographed and even included a 3D segment. During the nativity scene there were live animals as well. A donkey, some camels, and some sheep. A very enjoyable and memorable performance marking the holiday season.

Always wanted to see the Christmas show, it was fantastic. Great show, great venue. We all loved it.

Great iconic venue! Saw the Rockettes Christmas show this week and it was not disappointing. If your in town for the holidays....it’s a must!

This is an iconic NYC site. Always busy, it is one of the places a tourist must see. Shows run daily but the Christmas Spectacular Show will become a family tradition.

Great backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall. Very good guide and a great history lesson for the building. Recommended for anyone.

This is a must see if you are in New York. Spectacular theatre and very interesting to find out about it. The theatre is decadent and has been kept the same so it is like seeing it when it would have opened in the 1930s. Timothy was an amazing guide, very informative and funny. Would definitely recommend.

I was really excited about coming as had never been. Also, it is managed by MSG.. which also manages The Beacon. Been to both many times and they are super well run. I!m blind, arrived early with my cane and found the line to go through security a bit disorganized and chaotic. I’m usually fortunate that a worker will ask if I need any assistance, but never happened. The venue is very dark, signing is way too small and hard to find as was figuring out how to get to the restrooms. My opinion is that this is a training issue as I have never had such challenges at way bigger MSG. I would discourage those who need extra assistance for any reason to avoid this venue. It is historic and truly a landmark. They can do way better on this.

A richly decorated theater icon with comfortable seating, moving stage areas with two massive pipe organs, an orchestra section that rises to stage level and then retracts. We sat in Sec ORCH4, Row E, Seat 412 and 413. Section 4 is in the middle and we had aisle seats. This was absolutely fine, but about 10 - 14 rows closer to the stage would have been phenomenal. This is on the main floor and is not under the balcony so all of the special effects are still able to be experienced.

This year radio city Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes featured at certain shows a Santa hat compliments of party city. The kick were as good as ever and in complete unison as always. They costumes and set were spectacular as always. The music, dancing and lights and animals will not disappoint. Look for discount to offset the price but for the money, this show is so worth every penny. We like to go to the show every year and have take out kids here since they were little. You never get tired of seeing the Rockettes. And if you find a show with the free give away, even better. Look for the little red Santa hat in the corner of the dates in their calendar.

myself and mam always go see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular loved it, It tradition everytime we travel to new york

Had a great time. Loved the dancing - it was the first time any of us had gotten to see the Rockettes live. We didn’t like the process to get in - we were there an hour before, but they didn’t start letting in until quite a bit after. We were starting to get anxious that we wouldn’t get in before the show started. Same on the way out (5 daily shows means there is only an hour between)...we didn’t appreciate the nasty lady screaming at everyone to get off the sidewalk. There was a bottleneck of people trying to leave, while others were trying to enter...that’s no way to treat people paying good money to see the show, and is extremely unprofessional. 5+ stars for the performers, 2 stars for the entry/exit process.

Great Show....very traditional numbers. Family loved it ! The Rockettes were as usual outstanding as the toy soldiers. The nutcracker sequence was very entertaining especially the dancing bear,

Great show, but way overpriced and not enough women’s restrooms. I understand expensive food and merchandise but the tickets and fees for who knows what was outrageous!

I hadn’t been to Radio City for the Christmas show in probably 30 years. I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and magic of the show. The lighting is magnificent, the music is wonderful and, of course, the Rockettes are without equal. Parts of the show were in 3D- you truly felt as though you were in the sleigh with Santa on his journey from the North Pole to NYC. There were even live camels. Truly this is a not to be missed holiday spectacular. Yes, it is crowded and expensive but total worth it.

This place is just iconic...beautiful. Very comfortable seats and most importantly the sound is just perfect. Very well organized venue but the only thing was that the access to the bathrooms is not easy or convenient to the concert goer. I will definitely go there again.

I went on a guided tour of the music hall, led by Grace. Since I went in off season, there was only me and one other lady on the tour. The tour was very interesting and enjoyable, Grace was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also got to meet a Rockette, whose name I sadly don’t recall, but who was very nice

Me and family very first time at NY Radio City Music Hall. It is a stunning and beautiful venue. We enjoyed a Christmas show called Radio City Music Hall presents The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. The show was amazing, fun, and entertaining. Great special effects and sound. The actors were amazing. As an adult the show made me feel like a child. Very well recommended. Overall: Excellent. Two Thumbs Up.

This NYC theatre is situated in the heart of the entertainment neighborhood and is the home of world-famous performances such as the Rockettes. It's gorgeously decorated - you can really feel the history of previous and ongoing shows that've performed on this storied stage. The space is humongous; it looked like it could seat thousands of people. We came here to see the Rockettes and could've just enjoyed wandering through the building.
I'll add that getting through security here was a bit stressful, as the security guards were extra vigilant and kept barking orders at everyone. (I understand the necessity of herding thousands of people through the lines, but it felt like airport security.)

The Christmas show was awesome!!! It is like nothing else I have ever seen. It is worth the trip into nyc just to see . Be aware that the street around it can get so crowded that it is even difficult to walk, so if you don't like crowds stay away from Rockefeller Center outside.

Have heard about Radio City Music Hall my whole life, and finally had a chance to see it in person. Festive lights, Santa and Grinch characters outside for photo opportunities. The tour is highly recommended.

Worth the $ and the wait and hassle and the cattle races...super slick and professional as you would expect.Highly recommended

The Christmas show has to be one of the greatest tourist traps in NYC history. Radio City as a venue, however, is outstanding.

Great place to see a movie and the stage show is a bit tired (maybe it's me?!) but always fun especially for kids. Rockettes are still kickin' it too!

Christmas show was unbelievable made the trip to NewYork well worth.will come back next year for sure.

Went to see The Christmas Spectacular Show, featuring the Rockettes & "Santa Clause" What a delightful time we had.
This is a tradition of ours for the holidays. spend a few days in the City & before leaving, its a must to see show, we've not been disappointed

Stunning iconic venue is a must on your bucket list! I’ve been many times just to go see the The Rocketts Christmas Spectacular show.Spectacular it is! The inside of this venue is classy with red velvet & gold trims & drips of elegance. The huge crystal chandeliers are gorgeous. Seat preference is orchestra as you’re much closer & can really experience the show. Mezzanine is too far up. Everything is clean including the restrooms. I’m sure this is no small feat with the amount of people who go. They’re very organized as well & know how to manage the crowd, lines & security check in a quick fashion. Food & drinks are expensive but hey you’re in NYC! Go check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Went to see the Rockettes Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall. The show itself was phenomenal. The building is awesome, decorated beautifully for Christmas. It seats thousands of people and you feel a bit like cattle being herded in before the show. They search your purse and belongings on your way in. They have souvenir stands, they sell food and drinks before the show. Seating was good even on the first balcony. Well worth seeing it.

An Iconic place, great old building. Went to see the Christmas Spectacular, which was just fabulous. Great dancers, and what a great way that modern CGI with the 3D segment was included in the performance. Highlight of our visit to New York.

Well if you’re going to see the Rockettes spectacular Christmas show you’ve got to go to radio city music Hall!! The hall is absolutely phenomenally beautiful!! Such an icon for New York City!

The Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes was beyond magnificent! The Rockettes are amazing to watch. But there is so much more to the show. Arrive early so you can walk around Rockefeller Center. There is nothing like Christmas in New York

Went to see Josh Groban's Radio City Show on Feb 14th. I looked forward to an evening of beautiful music from a very talented singer. What we got instead was 15+ minutes of a stupid skit interview with Dr. Ruth, a ridiculous skit with an overweight singer/comedian running half naked around the stage and way too much talking. He did introduce us to to a 2nd year medical student from Mount Sinai Hospital, who plays Cello in the Westside Subway at 42nd St. The student know as Mr. Eyeglasses was very talented as were the choir from the Frank Sinatra Music School. He was wonderful to give these young people exposure. However I paid $185 to hear him sing not for skits especially Dr. Ruth (it was painful). What a waste of time. Josh sang MAYBE 10 songs the entire night and took a 30 minute intermission. So a lot of filler. Is he not capable of filling 2 1/2 hours with singing? He did mostly covers and a couple of his own material excluding BELIEVE and the PRAYER. The last performance of the night was an overdone too long rock song with the whole band, and him at the piano. You're not a rock star Josh. There were several complaints from audience members around me. We were hoping the 2nd 1/2 would be better than the 1st. Hmmmm. This show needs ND OVERHAUL. Fans want to hear Josh Groban use his talent and sing not do Shtick!

The place is very nice, I recommend you to check what shows there are and their dates before planning your trip, it is worth visiting.

Alway wanted to see a show at Radio City and we saw the Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes. Boring in parts, a little silly and pedestrian. I was disappointed although impressed with the quality of the voices and the building itself. I think it went for 90 minutes but wouldn't want to sit there any longer.

A marvelous evening’s entertainment just before Christmas. The show was stunning especially because of the large troupe of dancers which danced in unison so well it was pretty well unbelievable. Throw in a visit to the North Pole, with the whole theatre involved and a Nativity parade including live camels, sheep and donkeys and you can’t find a better Christmas show anywhere.

We enjoyed our visit to Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas Spectacular. We hadn't been in many years and it didn't disappoint. The story and the special effects and dancing made the show very enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic so glad we decided this show as you won’t see it anywhere but New York, theatre was amazing and a wonderful experience all round not one to miss.

Especially at Christmas time, its near the rockefeller centre and the lights make it special. Obviously touristy but a visit is a must. Great photo ops and generally a happy vibe

We came to see the Rockettes show during our New Year's Eve stay in New York. The show was incredible, the Rockettes dance together with millimetered precision. The staging was perfect and the management of the event almost as much in a very nice room. We had a great evening at Radio City Music Hall and we took a lot of eyes.

The Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall is a wonderful tradition. This year's edition featured a bit of 3D as well as great graphics beamed over the venue. Of course, the Rockettes are absolutely terrific given the precision of their dance moves. In addition, the venue is a classic showcase for entertainment.

Attended the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes at this venue and this is by far the worst venue I have ever been to for logistical management. We ended up missing the first 20 minutes of the 90 minute show because of the venue's sheer incompetence of managing crowds.
The show started at 6pm and, the night we attended, there were still more than 200 people outside the venue at 6pm waiting to pass through the ridiculously slow security lines. And we arrived with plenty of time to spare (>35 mins). People were still walking into the show more than 30 minutes late.
This is also the only venue I have ever been to that made me throw away water (yes, water) before being allowed to enter. I get not being allowed to bring in outside food or beverages but not being allowed to bring in bottled water is beyond looney. And, of course, I then didn't have time to fill my bottle up or buy a bottle once inside because the venue failed to get me in on time and I had already missed a good chunk of the show and I didn't want to miss anymore.
The venue is a music hall... it's sole job is to put on shows for people to watch and enjoy... you would think they would be experts at ensuring they get everybody in on time to watch the entirety of their show.
The venue itself is lovely though but stay away and book a show in a venue that's more competent.
Complete incompetence at crowd management, missed part of show

I had never felt the Christmas like I did when I saw the show. It reminded me the Moulin Rouge in Paris but in another context. It’s a visit that I will repeat every time I have the opportunity to do so

The Christmas Spectacular show is amazing and the Rockeets are wonderful. What an amazing experience. The Music Hall itself is stunning to look at.

Wow this theatre blew me away: I can guarantee you won’t see a show like this anywhere else so if you are in NY at Xmas time make sure you go!!

Abs amazing from start to finish. The dancers moved fluidly as one the whole time even down to the sheep, camels and donkey.
Well worth seeing. Sells out every performance

Tommy Pettiti’s Modeling & Talent Agency enjoyed a private tour and backstage performance which was amazing! Highly recommend!

On October 27th, I purchased three tickets for the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular for the 10pm show on December 28, 2019 as a surprise Christmas gift for my young children. I am a single mother and I saved up for many months to be able to do this for my kids. We live in Florida and this was a huge expense for what should have been an amazing experience. At the time of entry I was informed that one of my tickets was not valid. I was directed to go around the block to the other entrance to get in the line for box one (problems). After waiting for 20 minutes in this line I showed the gentleman my digital tickets and advised him that I was just informed that one of my tickets were not valid. He printed out three tickets and sent me back to the line. After waiting in line again there was an issue that all the tickets were already checked in. After some protest a supervisor came and eventually allowed myself and my two young children entry into Radio City Music Hall. After finally making it to our seats and settling in for the show, here comes Usher Macey to advise me that my seat belongs to someone else. Usher Macey was extremely rude and lacked compassion so there was some protest from me. Now, here comes Macey’s extremely rude Supervisor to remove me from the theater while my two young minor children were alone in the theater. Turns out that my ticket was double sold. Macey’s Supervisor was Extremely rude, lacked empathy, and she had no compassion. Unfortunately I did not get her name. She treated me horrible and had me in tears. I missed the first quarter of the show while my children were stressed out and scared alone in the theater. I’m no VIP, just a single mother from Florida, but I still deserved respect and compassion during an extremely stressful and unfortunate situation. I was advised that because I bought my tickets through a third party it’s not their problem. If the site that the tickets were purchased from does not accommodate me with a refund I will dispute the tickets through my financial institution. This was a horrible experience and I regret booking this show at RCMH.

Everyone knows this is the place to be at Christmas time! The show is amazing, the theater is one the bigger size comfortable and well run! At Christmas they have Santa downstairs for pictures and the decorations are top notch!

Rockettes Christmas spectacular was amazing, and I would recommend everyone to see it! We loved it, and would come back to see it again.

Absolutely great show, a must ! Very impressive, would definitely return ! Good for all ages. Dancers are exceptional, music is excellent. A wonderful show !

Outside only
We went to see the radio City Hall lit up for the festive season, we didn’t enter as we couldn’t get to see the Rockettes due to the time of year and not booking well in advance.
It was lovely to see the building

Located in the historic NBC complex it has hosted acoustic shows from the Grateful Dead and Dave Mathews as well as the rockettes.I saw the Impractical Jokers play to their hometown and liked the sigh lines, acoustics and easy access to seating

The 2019 Xmas Rockette show was one of the best productions I have seen anywhere in the world. Entertainment for all ages and impressive no matter what your music preference. Staging orchestra and performers were allmagnificent

It’s very cool to walk over and see the historic place. I remember seeing the girls kicking their legs up when I was growing up, on things like Bob Hope specials. A cool place to see.

What a spectacular venue! Loved the classic feel of this theater. The decor was stunning, seats comfortable, and event staff friendly. As expected drinks and snacks expensive, but the holiday drinks were strong and yummy!

Spoiler ahead** I loved the show but at the end there are real camels on the show. That was terrible.

We went to the Christmas spectacular and it was amazing. The dancers are so in sync, like not a mistake it was like watching something that had been digitally edited. Definitely worth every penny.

Ticket Tip!
We decided last minute to go see the Rockettes and looked online for tickets, but had trouble finding just two (but when we put in a quantity of 1 or 3, tickets became available). I was prepared to buy 3 at that point as they were cheaper than the seats that had 2 spots together but my fiance suggested we go to the box office first. I figured if they were sold out we could always go back to the ***hole companies online that sell them for 3x face value. While waiting in line we saw an employee with an ipad who offered to sell us tickets—turns out ticketmaster won’t sell 2 tickets where there are 3 seats available because they dont want to leave one random seat left over thats unlikely to sell. He was able to override that for us and thus opened up seats that were wayyyyyy cheaper than what was available on ticketmaster.
All the staff were so kind, the theatre was gorgeous, and the show was incredible. I will def go again and I highly recommend!

A must see if you are visiting NYC! The decor takes you back to the glamour of the 40’s. I can’t imagine any other home for the Rockettes.

Incredibly well organized, had a great seat and their performance was simply pure perfection. Would have preferred less visuals and more emphasis on the music. The venue was packed and the two days were 'sold out'. Drove all the way to see them and they were brilliant.

Went for the Rockets Christmas Show,My Wife wanted to see a show I thought why not realy good show didn't think I would enjoy it but I did.

I haven't been to Radio City Music Hall since I was in college so coming back after all this time was nostalgic. I came to see Hugh Jackman and he was great! The venue is as I remembered, though less lavish possibly because I'm all grown up now. The ladies' restrooms are spacious and come with a lounge and plenty of space to regroup, sit back and relax.

Went to see the rockets christmas spectacular and was not disappointed. They made full use of the stunning theatre and the show was great. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. One of our group is disabled and staff and protocols for entry, exit and seating were smooth as glass.

Walk past at least to see the outside, preferably in the evening when it's lit with all its neon lights, it's still worth seeing. Friendly and very American place.

The Rockets show for kids is a must! bought tickets same day at TSTB, 35$ per person. Guy will offer more expensive tickets, ask for other options shown on screen

While queuing for tickets my wife fainted, the staff were brilliant the medical team were called they got her a wheelchair took her to the medical room where they looked after her, then when she felt better got us a taxi back to the hotel so if you read this thanks for everything.

Terrible customer service. We called ahead of event for refund due to serious illness , and were told they would issue refund after event. THEN,we got the run around on the phone, and they disconnected us three times! Too late to resell on stub hub, and now continue to get the run around. My advice: NEVER buy radio city tix ahead of the event. Get them when you're there. If you miss it, don't worry; there are lots of things to do in NYC. We will NEVER go there again.

Did the touristy thing and took my wife to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Yes, the seating can be expensive, no shock, as is everything associated with a visit during Christmas in NYC.
In spite of that, the experience is a staple to Christmas in New York. The music, dancing was good, but something was lacking. I don't know if it was because it was December 26, but the energy that is always a part of the show seemed to be missing a beat. The changes made, a less than exciting 3D portion, and a truncated Christmas Story presentation, had me looking for more.
While we enjoyed ourselves, it will be a while before there will be consideration of a return visit.

Rockettes Christmas show is a must see if your in town. It was fantastic, my wife and I went and it was awesome. Highly suggest getting there at least an hour and a half ahead of showtime. There is a line but worth the wait. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Truly spectacular. Am amazing experience that will enchant young and old. Beginning of the show is in 3D. The synchronization is absolutely mind boggling.

Went to Radio City to watch the Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes. It was a truly spectacular performance that left one wanting more. It left me spellbound.

There is a lady that stands in the area where you buy tickets and pick up tickets. She yells and screams at people trying to pick up and buy tickets,
I got to the theater 1 hr before the Christmas show started. The line was so long that I did not get seated until 10 minutes after the show had started.
All ushers and staff are expremely rude at this venue. Do not waste your money here.

NYC without seeing the Rockettes during the holidays is not an option. The dancing always amazes me. I liked the theatrical additions to the show and the musicians at the beginning as well. The Rockettes never disappoint. I’d recommend this for all ages. The music hall is near Rockefeller center for ice skating, Tge Today Show, and the Rockefeller Christmas tree.

Really enjoyed the Christmas spectacular, the show and dancers were amazing. Whole experience was let down by the poor customer service. Long queues in the rain to get through a small back entrance with half a dozen security booths to service the whole audience. Surly security staff. Ended up missing the start of the show despite arriving 40 mins before.

I was lucky enough to be in NYC during the festive season and haven taken the tour a year earlier I was determined to see the Rockettes on this trip.
I got a fairly reasonably priced seat in the orchestra in row FF by the side. There was a slight obstruction for the first 5 mins of the show but was pleased to find everything else was in clear view.
Enjoyed the 3D film aspect but glad it was only a small aspect or it would have ruined the whole thing if it dragged on.
Overall was very festive and enjoyed the march of the wooden soldiers the most. The theatre is very breathtaking so worth going at least once.

We visited New York for the first time on 1st December 2019 and we purchased our tickets to see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, we have seen many shows in the West End and this was truely one of the best shows we have ever seen, Radio City itself is amazing, from the time you enter it really is something special. I cannot recommend this show enough if you are ever in New York at Christmas time this is a must see show.

We went to the Christmas show and it was fabulous. The sets, the costumes, the music, it was wonderful. The Rockettes really put on a fantastic show . I would highly recommend it.

Great visit, was not sure what to expect and would not of booked it if I hadn’t had the NY pass. However I was pleasantly surprised, great tour guide, interesting place, bags of history, and if I went back to New York when they had the famous Christmas show on I would book.

The final day of our 2 weeks' stay in NYC ended with the Radio City Rockettes Xmas show and it was truly the unforgettable experience! We thought it would be nice, but the reality exceeded all our expectations - the Rockettes with their dance numbers were something out of this word!
Together with Santa and the beautiful Xmas story they made our day! Definitely the must for everybody visiting New-York City this time of the year👍

Went to a Sunday morning Christmas Spectacular showing - 1st time in RCMH. This place is amazing by itself, but the show was simply fantastic. The choreography, special effects and talented performers, including the Rockettes, exceeded my most wildest expectations.

What more can one say other than the Christmas show was great!!! We totally enjoyed ourselves; it was an evening well spent.

Somehow the shape and clever lighting and projections, of Radio City means that you feel involved with the show. The rockettes are so slick and the music so immersive that the show appears seamless and utterly charming...you must see it!

It’s been a bucket list wish to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City. The venue is amazing and the show is, well Spectacular!!! It was worth every penny and really gets you in the mood for Christmas. Highly recommended!!!

A must do! Our seats were pricey but worth every penny! The production of this show is amazing. My husband who humored me by coming along couldn't believe how much he enjoyed it. There is entertainment for everyone and the Rockettes are amazing to watch. I plan to make this a yearly event!

We got tickets the morning of the show. Took a while to get inside. IF you are seated upstairs, get your refreshments there, no lines.

A visit to NYC isn't complete without a visit or show at RCMH. The history of the building is amazing. The Christmas show is one of a kind. A memory for every little or big kid to have.

We went to see The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. It was awesome! We had a great view from the first balcony. We had reserved seating, but wIted in line outside for about 15 minutes. Very well organized getting guests in and out of the show.

The Rockettes show was so entertaining! We went as an adult couple but it was fun to see all of the children enjoying the show. We could really appreciate the talent of the dancers. The lobby was decorated for the holiday. Loved, loved it!

We saw Riverdance on the last sunday of March and it was amazing, my kids and my wife loved it. We have had a great memory. Next time I will buy tickets from orchestra for sure to be closer to the dancers.

I went with the Ambassador travel club in Indianapolis where I've been living for several decades now but originally I'm from Queens, NY. My mom used to take my sister and me to Radio City when we were kids. As an adult, I worked across the street and was given free tickets for the show by my employer. It's always been a special treat to see the show, the moving orchestra, the grand staircase, the hidden organ player, and especially the Rocketts. As kids, we'd see a movie and a show. Every employee there treated me with efficiency and speed. On this trip I offered a tip to the young woman directing lines in the ladies room but she said they weren't allowed to accept tips. Every attendant, server, motorcoach driver with our group, maid, waiter, etc. I encountered in NY made me proud. Keep up the great work people - you're the best!

Worth the time and money to see a show. Great location on W 52 Street. Most delis are average. Use Trip A to location a good restaurant.

Saw the Christmas show! Wow! Absolutely incredible! It’s the best show I’ve ever seen in my entire life! The synchronicity of the Rockettes was outstanding. The whole production left me speechless (and that’s saying something). If you go to NYC when this show is on you MUST go and see it, you will not be disappointed. Our ticket also included a back stage tour, again totally worth it.

RCMH was beautiful inside. The Christmas spectacular was amazing! Seeing the Rockettes was a bucket list and they did not disappoint. So much talent on that stage. Worth every penny!

An impressive and inspirational place that has great history in New York City. We got to see this beautiful place lit up in all its glory but unfortunately didn't get to see a rockettes show. Still an inspirational place

I’ve never heard of this but the rocket Christmas show is an absolute must. Fantastic venue. A bit chaotic trying to get in – head for the furthest away door to the queue. Airport style security. Great venue. It is absolutely vast. Love the show. 1 1/2 hours without an interval. Very Christmassy. Won’t say too much as Don’t want to spoil the surprise. But safe to say I saw three shows over six days in New York and this was the best. One of the best things I’ve ever seen.

Attended for the Christmas special rockettes. A lovely building full of history and character.
We’ll worth a visit if going to a show.

We took the last tour of the day and got lucky as there was only 10 people on it. I think often there can be up to 30 people. You really have to do the tour as you have no idea about the story behind everything you’re seeing. You get to see the green room where the Grammy winners party after, the hydraulics that power the stage and there’s so many stories about the place from over the years. Totally glad we did this. Only took 75 mins. You learn about the secret tunnels, the art and sculptures too.

This show was as magical and spectacular as it was over 50 years ago when I went for the first time. It never gets old because it is different every year. I highly recommend this to everyone

Absolutely stunning building inside! Loved it. We saw the rockettes show and it was the best show I've ever seen!

My family had a wonderful time. This is a special family experience that kickstarted the Christmas season. This is a must.

Tried to contact the venue directly about this friendly feedback, but can't seem to find a way to do it:
We had a good time seeing the Rockettes. The two downsides that I thought the company should know about:
1. The vents in the women's bathroom on the 2nd Mezzanine floor are filled with dust and in desperate need of a cleaning. Dust bunnies were drifting down on us while we were in the stall - ick! See pic.
2. I told the bathroom attendant about this - a friendly mention that it was probably worth passing along to whomever maintains such things. Her response was of irritation. Then, when the show was over, I believe this was the same woman who came to clean the area where we were seated. She rudely was rushing people out of their seats (3 minutes after the show ended; more than 3 hours before the next show).

This show is the best I have ever seen. It is full of joy, fast paced, color, music, and of course the amazing Rockettes.

We were a bit naive approaching RCMH. Had not planned to see the show, we were just walking by on Sunday, December 24, 2023, and said to each other, what the heck, let's check it out. So we went to the ticket booth about 2PM and had to wait only 10 minutes in line. Then we were told 2 tickets available for $99 each at the 8PM show. They were really great seats, right down front about 10 rows back. The show was absolutely amazing, free 3D glasses for the portion of the show in 3-D, flying fairy like drones over our heads, confetti from the ceiling and other special effects. The Rockettes did about 15 costume changes for different roles through out the show, and dancing, dancing and more dancing and singing. The only annoying part was a lady in front of us that was filming the whole show on her phone. They explicitly said "no photos or videos during the show". An employee was going around stopping people from doing this, but the lady in front of us was sneaky and got away with it. She was selfish and distracting. After the show we admired the beautiful building inside while looking for the restrooms, hard to find. Finally found them, but the lines were super long, with women forming most of the lines to both the women's and the men's restrooms.. that's right women were using the men's too! The problem was, that the women were blocking access to the men's urinals which were mostly unused. Then there was a employee walking around yelling at people to get out of the building. We loved the show and building except for two rude people.

We saw the Christmas Spectacular - I will say, it was geared towards children, but still was a very delightful show. Loved all the high kicks and fab costumes. And the stage props....

We enetered the theatre and were busy takign photographs when i dropped my tickets through the stairway railings, and never saw them again, they had disappeared. No one could find them on the floor, but the door and security staff were so friendly and helpful in ensuring I got replicas of my tickets.m A big thank you to all the staff at Radio City for making my evening sucha pleasure.

Anyone visiting New York City who is a die-hard fan of "Home Alone" can remember this place. It was my first stop when I was in Manhattan.

Just went for the Christmas Spectacular. What a venue.. what a great show.. We added on the tour and got to speak with a Rockette. Great times all around!

Everything I dreamed it would be and more! My mom and I attended the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with a tour group the second weekend of December. What a show! I have always loved the Rockettes and seeing them in their theater at Christmas brought tears to my eyes many times during the performance. We had excellent seats on the first row center of the first mezzanine and I loved every minute. The theater is simply gorgeous. Great souvenirs in ornaments, t-shirts, etc. This was my favorite thing we did in New York and so thankful I got to go!

Visited here for a look around, and to see the rockettes Christmas show.
Worth watching.Did not have to queue to long at all.

The only thing is that we bought the vip barracuda package that supposed to have a meet and greet and there was none. That was kind of frustrating once I came all the way from Brazil to that concert.

We just visited the lights and it was so worth it. The decorations at Christmas time are so pretty. It is also much less crowded than Rockefeller center and 5th ave. A must see if going during Christmas time.

I went to see the Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes! It was a wonderful performance from beginning to end. Radio City Music Hall is fun to see just on its own. A must do for the holidays if visiting NYC!

We took the stage door behind the scenes tour. It was fantastic. Timothy was awesome and you could tell he loved his job. It is an amazing look at a cultural icon. Highly recommended.

Had a great evening watching The Rockettes, after reading other reviews about overcrowding we booked for a Tuesday when there are only 2 shows so had no problems with this and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So sad they had to cancel later due to covid ;(

We managed to get tickets and were blown away with the show. This is a top show and highly recommend seeing this. Everyone, dancers, singers, orchestra and of course santa rocked it and surprised that 5 shows on the day we visited but was flawless. Amazing

This show was amazing. We sat in the third mezzanine, but our group felt this seating was better than the closer seating due to the visual effects. I don't want to give too much away, but you should be prepared to be immersed in the show. The Rockettes and the complete cast of other performers put on a top notch performance. I highly recommend seeing this show while in NYC. It is definitely worth the money.

Every Trip that I make to New York try to go to the RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL. I did more or less 32 from 1995 to Now and I enjoy just simply to see outside. I made pictures for the TONY AWARDS twenty years ago when I was journalist...Very nice experience. The shows at the RADIO CITY are memorable. A incredible experience to tell when You and Your family go back to Your Country!!!

I went on a tour inside The radio city Music hall, and it was amazing, to get the story behind the place and to see was great and we were lucky enough to get a change to meet one of the Rockettes.

We had no idea how great the show would be. We knew we wanted to see it because everyone says you should, but wow, we were surprised how great it was. It’s not just the dancing. The costumes, scenery and singing were all just spectacular. We really did love it!

you simply must take your family to the christmas show. i went as a child and i still havent forgotten the excitement and magic!! book in advance to get a discount on tickets.
once in a lifetime must do, enjoy
Great Show, Great Use of Technology
The Rockettes annual show did not disappoint. They added fresh new technology to spice up an already fabulous show. The addition of the Night Before Christmas with talented young dancers was another plus. We will certainly be back for another show next year.
