Overwhelming stench of urine and amonia. Overwhelming stench of urine and amonia. Overwhelming stench of urine and amonia.

It’s a cute little zoo, nothing huge but the animals all seem happy and the goats have so much spunk! The gift shop is very affordable as well!

A fun little zoo experience that is mostly indoors so it's a good activity on a hot and/or rainy day. You can go at your own pace and backtrack to any exibit you want to see again. Very nice gift shop at the end of the exhibits. This was our 2nd visit here. There's also an outdoor feeding area with about 3 or 4 varieties of animals.

We visited while we were on vacation and it was wonderful. We loved looking at all the interesting animals.

This is a smaller zoo, but we enjoyed the animal interactions that we had. We were there right after they opened and were able to see many of the animals being fed. We enjoyed the goats, lemurs, and parrots. It was nice seeing animals were have never seen in other zoos.

This place is great for families, especially on a rainy day. Reasonably priced and larger than it looks with a great variety of animals to see. Our 7 year old loved reading all of the descriptions of the animals and finding the ones hidden in their enclosures. Food for feeding goats outside is available to buy when you go in and she loved that too. Overall a great experience.

I had gotten tickets on Groupon with a discount and decided to give it a try since it was pretty inexpensive. We were pleasantly surprised and we all had a great time. We especially love the tamarins and lemurs. It’s mostly indoors but there’s a section outside with sheep, goats, a few lizards and turtles and a couple of monkeys. You can feed the goats and sheep right out of your hand. It’s funny because they follow you around and almost fight each other to be the one to get fed! So cute!

This feels more like a well loved private collection than a typical zoo. The animals were very well cared for and easy to view. The parrots are hilarious- "Row" really sings row row row your boat! Lots of personality in the animals and a truly fun exhibit.

If you want to do something a little different with the family, this is a good stop off. Price is decent, we've never been there when it was too overly crowded, kids loved it.

Animals well kept. When we went it wasn't crowded, which enhanced the experience for us. Also minerals. We spent about 90 very enjoyable minutes.

This is a must to do if you are in the area. Rain or shine it doesnt matter. You're family will have a great time. It is great entertainment and very affordable.

Cute little mostly inside zoo, took my 9 month old baby here while we were visiting on vacation. The goats outside are so cute and all the animals seemed to be well taken care of.

After looking at the reviews, we were excited to visit. It wasn’t long after entering that I immediately regretted it. There were pros and cons, with the cons outweighing the pros. Some of the enclosures were adequate and the majority of the animals looked healthy. The guinea pigs had room to run with was a plus. My issue is with how dirty and disgusting the enclosures were and the inadequate care that I saw with my own eyes. We went at 10 AM, they opened at 9 AM. It was obvious most of the enclosures has not been cleaned for days. As a snake, ferret, hedgehog and leopard gecko owner, I am appalled at the lack care these specific animals received. You are not supposed to cohabitate hedgehogs or leopard geckos. There were two hedgehogs in the same enclosure and I believe I counted five leopard geckos in a small enclosure. The ferrets had no enrichment, had wire ladders and a water bottle, all of these are not good for ferrets. Then there was the diet but that is a whole separate conversation. The snake enclosures had shed that has been there for a while along with feces. The blue tongue skinks’ enclosures were way too small. The Tegu enclosure had a decaying bird of some kind in it (they do eat chicks so that could be it) so that is proof the enclosure has not been cleaned. In one of the lemur enclosures, there was a white feeder mouse that seemed to have escaped. The outside animals (emus, sheep, and goats) were left to lay, sleep, eat and drink in their own urine and feces. There was so much matted wool and bodily fluids on most of the sheep. The mice and rats were in too small of enclosures and were cramped. The mother rats had absolutely no privacy or anywhere to hide their young.
I did inform the woman at the register about the two health issues I saw with two specific animals and she seemed to care and actually take it into consideration. She did state one of the ferrets were new, as it was surrendered which brings me to my next issue. If an animal is new, it needs to be quarantined, and if an animal is sick then it should not be on display.
Absolutely disgusted and disappointed. Do better. Google is free. It seems this place would rather acquire all these animals instead of providing adequate care for them.
*I can only add 10 photos*

I took my granddaughters there for a couple of hours and we were very impressed with so many critters and animals! The staff was super friendly and the animals looked like they were very well cared for! We got our tickets from Groupon and it included food for the animals and they were so funny feeding them! Great memories! They loved the bird that said 'I love you' more than anything! Well, besided the iguana/lizard looking critter one of them wants for Christmas!

This little zoo is AWESOME! There was a wide variety of well cared for and active animals housed in beautiful enclosures. I recommend going early in the morning during feeding time. Much larger than we expected. Plan on spending a couple hours.

Went with my wife and two kids (8, 18 months) Wasn't too crowded and the staff was very friendly. Both kids thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the animals but according to the 8yr old getting to feed the goats was the best! Place isn't huge so it won't take a terribly long time to see everything they have to offer but it was worth the visit.

I went with my family and had a wonderful time. My grandson absolutely loved every minute. He really got to see the animals up close and was amazed by them. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The gift shop was great. It was a great trip and I can't wait to do it again.

We love going to Rainforest Adventures! Anytime we have family come visit we make this a must. We love going there all the time!

It was a vert nice small indoor zoo. Spent maybe 2 hours. I was surprise to see everything they offered for such a great price.

Beautiful zoo to visit. The kids loved all the animals. We were visiting from another state and would definitely recommend to visit.

This place is great! enjoyed all the beautiful animals and all that they had to offer.
Very reasonable price, which is great for the kids! We were treated with the up most respect by the staff.

We're doing a family vacation with very young kids. It can be difficult to find activities that make them feel involved. This place was perfect!
The staff are very friendly, the animals look well cared for and most of them are quite lively, especially the monkeys. The outdoor exhibit with the goats and emu was wonderful chance for some upclose and personal fun.
Our kiddos enjoyed the monkeys most, but all animals there are great.

They had a broad assortment of animals from birds to reptiles. The staff was friendly and informative and let us touch snakes and birds. Fun for anyone.

What a great place for kids.... and adults!!! Good for a rainy day activity! Loved the petting zoo and the lemurs!

You and your family will love this! Such a variety and every moment is filled with oooohs and aaaahhhs! You will be glad you made the stop!

We weren’t sure what to expect when we pulled up but there were a variety of cute lemurs, flying squirrel, porcupines, goats and sheep. There is a bird named Row who likes to sing row, row, row your boat. Feeding the goats and sheep was fun. The baby goats were adorable. Definitely recommend going when they first open. The animals were super active which was very entertaining. We also had the opportunity to see them eat. Once they finished eating their activity level decreased. Lots of snakes to view as well.

You will love RainForest Adventures. Reasonable rates and very clean! Go when you can see the animals being fed and take your turn feeding the goats and sheep. Fun for kids and adults alike!

This was a fun little place to take our young children at the beginning of our trip. They had a pretty decent amount of animals, ranging from common (Guinea Pigs, Goats, Emus) to more rare species for smaller zoos (Kookaburra, Bat-Eared Fox).
The only real complaint I have about the place is some of the enclosures were pretty small for what they were housing, especially the Argentine Tegu (one of which I own).
Outside of that, it was a good, cheap attraction that will make most kids day!

The baby llamas are too adorable, you can feed them for $3.The binturong was sadly sleeping. The primates are cute and Jeffrey the cockatoo is super sweet. You can pay $40 to feed a sloth.Nice affordable family activity.

It had been many years since we were last here. We are a family of four and we were looking for an indoor activity because of rain. I was looking on Groupon and seen that I could get a package of four tickets and two packs of food for the goats for $27. That was a great deal! U called to ask if they would honor the groupon as I had seen someone say that they would not in the reviews. Not only do they honor the groupon but you could just come in and they would automatically give you the groupon price if you just showed them the groupon price on your phone. So that was convenient and saved me time.
They have so many animals to look at. We loved the monkeys and lemurs. Also a man brought out a snake and the kids got to hold it. Also, my favorite part by far, was getting to feed the turtles! The man gave us lettuce leaves to hold out and the turtles ate them. We fed the goats also. We had so much fun and made memories with our teenagers that will last a lifetime.

Absolutely loved this place!!! Most of the animals inside the exhibits are extremely interactive as you are walking through. Such a wide variety. The petting zoo was also nice, it is always a great time getting to pet and feed goats. Overall a great experience for a small zoo.

My daughter loves to visit RainForest Adventures! It was such a great family fun experience and would recommend it to everyone!

Our first full day here and it was raining. So we decided to visit this little zoo. Nearly all indoors! Really well designed! No large animals, but a lot of interesting smaller reptiles and mammals! The birds were a blast! Our 5 year old loved it!
The gift shop was really nice too! A lot of cool toys, gadgets, and decorations! What was real cool was that many of the nice art work and decorations weren’t from China, but Ecuador Kenya and such! So it felt more like you were sort of giving back a little if you purchased something.

We found a Groupon for here, and were surprised how nice it was.
The animals all look clean and healthy, and you can feed the goats and Emu's.
My teen boys got some entertainment for a change.
Your pass is good for all day, if you get in early you could leave and come back no charge.

Visit w our family group yesterday. Exhibits were well curated with a range of animals and reptiles. Exhibits were clean and we were able to several animals being fed. We had four children under 8
And they loved the Goat feeding/petting area. Purchased bags $3 bags of food which were quite large. Souvenir area was very reasonable.

Highly recommend! Much better than expected. Lots of cool monkeys, snakes, birds, lizard type animals and great layout with good info posted. Outdoor feeding of goats and sheep was great fun. Emu there too. There are coupons in tourist books. Well worth a family visit for about an hour or two. Friendly staff too.

Took my daughter on a surprise visit and it was so cool.
We got to see animals that we have only seen on tv or had never heard of. Also saw one that was thought to be imaginary, a bailisck and it was so cute. You will totally enjoy your visit.

DON'T GO- it is a roadside zoo that has had numerous complaints. Because the laws are so minimal, it is often difficult to attack roadside zoos from a legal standpoint. The cages are tiny, the animals look hot and dispirited, or animals are displaying stereotypic behavior, but due to lax enforcement, these issues are rarely cited. Even when exhibitors are consistently found non-compliant during inspections, they are typically allowed time to make “improvements.” Because the USDA rarely revokes operators’ licenses, or even levies fines, animals continue to suffer at roadside zoos all over the country.
We seen tiny cages located to the side of the building. Not sure if animals were inside of them but it was about 98 degrees that day.
We heard nothing but bad things regarding this place. Save your money and do something else.

This is worth stopping to. Animals seemed well taken care of and content. Staff was friendly and there was a coupon in the local tourist book.

The price is right on for this zoo adventure! They have multiple animals to look at and they have added on to the outside. Our little one is under the age of one so he didn’t seem to care for the small enclosures as much as I hoped. I think once he is a little older he will appreciate it more. He did love the goats and emus outside. Very kid and stroller friendly place.

What a nice little zoo. Not crazy expensive like the big zoo's. Coupon in the coupon book at the stores. Animals were awesome. We are big animal/zoo people. Saw lots of animals we had both never heard of. Snakes were great. Not all outside so good place for a hot day. Staff was great.

Most of the animals were either curled away somewhere or sleeping. When we got all the way through we bought quite a lot in their gift shop but because we didn't buy a bag they handed it all to us in NO BAG. Not cool...will not be back...

Our family had an awesome time! Great value and they even had a little show. My 5 and 7 year old girls thoroughly enjoyed it!

Jungle Jim did a fantastic job showing our family and teaching us about animals, and also bringing lots of laughter and jokes with it would highly recommend this for a family

Stopped here on our way out of town. Both boys 6 and 12 loved the experience. We saw several animals that we have not seen on multiple zoo trips. We enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep as well. Took a little over an hour to go through all the areas. This place was much bigger than expected. It was really fun.

Don't miss this place! It was great for all ages. My grandson and his friend, as well as, my husband and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and took great care of us.

We love this place! Always a family favorite!!! They have a great variety of animals and very informative. They go above and beyond for their guests. We highly recommend

This is a very small zoo, but very well-kept and has a lot of interesting animals. It’s a great place to go when it’s raining because it is mostly indoors. There is a section outside with goats and sheep that you can feed. The cockatoos are in an open area in the center and they are very entertaining! If you spend the time to stand there and talk to them, they eventually start talking and being very funny. The workers are very friendly and quick to answer any questions you may have.

This is a very nice little zoo great for a couple of hours. The place is very clean, the staff are exceptional. They answer all questions, if you go around 11 you can see the workers feeding every animal lunch. Very fun to watch. There is an outdoor area to feed the goats and sheep. Everything else in indoors. They even have a place for a show, unfortunately it was not while we were there. I can not recommend this enough, it is very affordable and so much fun for the small and big alike.

We had an AMAZING time on this adventure. Everyone is so friendly. Love the selection of animals. We will be back soon :) .

We have been going to this for years. When are children were little we all enjoyed it, but now they are adults and we all love it lol this little indoor adventure zoo has always been one of our favorite things to do while on vacation here in the mountains and now we live here and still go to it. We always make sure we go around noon to watch the show. Cheapest, best entertainment in town. Love this place

This is a definite must go to place. The kids, my husband and myself really enjoyed this cute place! You will fall in love with the cockatoo named Jeffery. He’s 52 years old and is the sweetest little guy. Depending on the time you go you may even see the worker preparing the food for the animals and watch them as they feed them! There is a lot of interaction things to do with certain pets, like petting the Guinea pigs, and feeding the goats and sheep. The workers are genuine and kind and they are very passionate about their job. For those wanting to visit here or may please be mindful of the gates they have up for your protection and for the sake of the animals too! Don’t hesitate on if you should go here or not, trust me you do! Their gift shop is reasonable too unlike most of the many stores and gift shops in other places. This was a little easier on the wallet! I even broke my shoe while walking and the worker made sure that I was not injured or bite by any of the animals. He then gave my husband and I duct tape to fix my shoe until we were able to leave to head back to our home state.

Bought tickets for two and a bag of feed from Groupon for $14 total!! Would’ve paid triple that. Really worth it!

Wonderful place to visit, and friendly staff. Great family experience and would recommend to everyone! Don't forget your camera

Great little zoo, we were pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth the money. Our 22 month old loved it, especially feeding the goats and sheep. Everything was clean and well taken care of.

Our family of four went and we'd recommend.
A lot of animals, both outside and inside.
Takes a solid 60-75 minutes to enjoy everything. Prices a good for the time spent.
The employees we encountered seemed to enjoy their job.

I only have to say AMAZING!!! Children, adults, older adults....fun, clean, numerous animals..some I have never seen!

Had a good time! It was clean and I enjoyed seeing everything they had there! Would recommend this to families visiting Tennessee!

When we walked in, we immediately were overcome by the awful smell of the place. We understand that animals can have odors but the stench of this place is uncalled for. We’ve visited several zoos before and have never dealt with this smell before. Do not expect to see a lot of different animal species. There were more snakes than anything. It is overpriced for the small amount of animals you get to see. Definitely will not be returning.

We found tickets on Groupon and saved some money vs buying tix on site. Small place but clean and lots to see.

This was a cute little zoo. We all had a good time and enjoyed seeing all of the different animals they had.

Small space. Friendly staff. Staff carried different animals around to interact with people. Good for a rainy day.

First visit here and it was great. So many animals to see and they all looked happy. I even got to hold a snake which was very cool to interact with one of the animals. Thank you!

Such an awesome place. We had a blast! Our two year old was beside himself with all the hands on animals

Excellent staff, clean, very kid-friendly environment. Great family event! Will go back and take friends and family who will be visiting in a few months!!

What a terrific place for young and old, found this place by chance , It was well worth the time to spend here The variety of animals was great. it will take about 2 hours and the staff is very helpful. we It was affordable .

First, this isn't some crazy big zoo. You can walk through it within an hour if you don't stop and read about the animals or gaze at them for too long. But it was a lot of fun. My daughter really enjoyed this place! Her favorite thing was feeding the goats and sheep outside, I think! She also thought that the large porcupines looked like our dog at home! It was a lot of fun to see them get fed, which we just happened to be there for!

We (family of 6) came here after finding a great deal on tickets online. Even without this deal, the tickets are very affordable and worth the price. We spent a little over an hour here looking at all their reptiles, monkeys, birds, and feeding the goats. As you can tell by how much time we spent, it’s not your average zoo that is huge but this was definitely more fun than I anticipated for myself. The feed itself is $3 but we found a deal where feed was included. The goats were very friendly and hungry! My nephew enjoyed these a lot. For the price, this was a great activity for us and it was great prior to the aquarium. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with children or who loves going to zoos.

We experienced The Rainforest through a groupon coupon. It was very affordable for the family. It was a great time for all our family. It was not crowded so we did not feel rushed. We were able to spend time observing and reading about the nice collection of animals. The staff was very friendly and provided information about the animals as they were feeding and taking care of the animals. The petting zoo was fun for the young. We will plan to visit again on our Smokie’s trip.

Jungle Jim was amazing! He really involved the whole crowd for the animal show and made it so much fun! (Even for my 14m daughter that wanted to touch everything!) All the animals were awesome to see and we got to see some that our local zoos don’t have. The entire staff was welcoming and helped make it a place we will visit every trip for sure!

Amazing customer service. Huge variety of exotics, hands on feeding goats, y’all with birds, see wildlife you’ve never seen before! Great enclosure setup, very clean. Best gift shop I’ve ever been to!

Small place. It is a small petting zoo with goats. I felt bad for the animals. I think it could be fun for small kids, but it is not a place that you must go.

You get so close to the animals! All the animals are exceptionally well cared for and all the enclosures were very clean! The staff was great and and you could see the love they had for the animals. All animals were properly fed, had clean water, and most importantly looked very happy and playful. My daughter, wife and i had an amazing time and will return on our next vacation. Definitely would recommend!!!!

This was a very interesting visit. We loved seeing all the different animals up close. We have been to many different zoos in other cities. It was nice that this zoo was indoors. We were able to get good viewings of 99% of the animals.

I thought this place wasn't going to be really good but it was great! They had lots of different animals, reptiles, and a few monkeys. It looks like they really take care of them and the staff genuinely care. Loved the guinea pigs! They also have goats and sheep outside - save some food for the sheep since when you first walk out, you just see goats. The sheep are towards the back.

From each checkpoint the people were very friendly until we went to the gift shop. But one encounter made me give 1 star. My husband said digital the lady said no don't highlight digital click print. We went to the cashier and realized it was printed. The cashier then told her we wanted digital. The lady esmeralda I believe it was responded in a loud voice' I say press print'
I immediately asked her why she was shooting because we weren't even combative or argumentative in our response. Working in a customer service environment i believe training in deescalating situations is needed. It would have taken nothing from her to send it to is digitally so why the hostility?

I have been here more than once. Some with school students and then family. Love everything, but the snakes. Will keep visiting.

Very cute animals, axolotls, degus, I loved them a lot, was there for 1-3 hours, though you can take all the time you want, I loved Jeffrey, he loved being scratched. I approve.

This little gem in the smokies is wonderful! It is not a tourist trap, it's a wonderful little zoo that is clean, educational, informational, and has plenty to read about! Staff care about their animals and are very well educated regarding the animals care and the cages are clean, with plenty of space! The gift shop is reasonably priced and groupon was great! you can spend 3-4 hrs reading and learning if you want.

This is a must visit for animal lovers! My husband and I visit even when our children are not with us. Staff are amazing and we love the petting area!

So glad we checked this place out! We loved seeing all the animals & reptiles. Feeding the goats was fun too! Don’t miss the live animal show! It was so much fun!! Admission price was very reasonable & all of the staff were very friendly & helpful.

We all had a great time at this attraction! Our kids loved the animals, especially getting to feed the tortoises and the goats. Every person who worked there was knowledgeable and helpful. Plan to spend a couple of hours in order to see everything.

Don't miss this place! So much fun and enjoyment for all ages. And best of all.... customer service is top notch!

The smell when you walk in will give you an idea of what this place is like. I’ve been to many zoos, parks and animal sanctuaries and I have never been knocked over by such a horrible smell. My daughter wanted to go, so we continued. Honestly, save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Stay for the live show at 1 or 3 daily! Very much worth the trip. Very knowledgeable employees, and a wide range of animals. The capuchin area was very enjoyable. And there were lots of families enjoying the petting zoo area. Fun time, and worth the $.

It’s mostly in door and the animals are active make sure you visit Jeffery a very friendly bird that you can pet

We go every time we are in the area. My son really likes the lemurs and I love to feed the animals outside.

Great visit. Kid friendly. Only complaint is older lady with dark hair working the counter should be more friendly. She was the only thing bad about the place.

This discovery was a delightful surprise, offering a more interactive experience compared to the grandeur of The Knoxville Zoo. Despite its modesty, the attraction's affordability and accessibility were commendable. Visiting on a Sunday proved advantageous, as it was less crowded, allowing us to explore the entire exhibition without disruptions. My three-year-old particularly enjoyed engaging with the sheep, goats, and emus. The staff's exceptional friendliness and assistance further enhanced our visit. I highly recommend this venue for families seeking a tranquil outing without the hustle and bustle of typical tourist destinations.

I have actually been to this place three different times, with different groups. I brought some of the clients I support here, and they loved it. They had a show and the staff were great at interacting with my clients. I also came here with my mom and dad, it was a great time. The last time I went, it was with my fiancé. It’s such a cool place. I enjoy taking time to read everything. It’s better to buy the bag of feed instead of getting it from the machines. Also, there is a coupon in one of the books for $2 off.

This is a very small zoo. Not much to look at and we stretched it out as long as we could. Some of the animals didn’t have signs up to identify what they were. The staff was friendly, but we probably would not have went there had we known how small it was. My daughter did enjoy it, but even at 5 years old she was disappointed at how quickly we finished through it.

Not big by any means. I expected to see bears and such but when we showed up it was an enclosed zoo with lots of exhibits of reptiles, monkeys, and some cute goats. The employees seemed to really care about the animals and their jobs which was refreshing to see. The employee told us about how some people had donated much of the animals they had. For instance, the bearded dragons, the ferrets, and the reticulated pythons. It’s nice to know that these animals are clean and well taken care of. The ferrets loved being held which indicates being held frequently and loved. The snakes are all well fed and maintained. The goats outside were very friendly and enjoyed being petted. My favorite part was seeing all of the different types of monkeys. We had our three month old son with us, the ladies bathroom in the store was clean and provided a changing station. There’s tons of room for a stroller to use throughout. Also the price is unbeatable.

Such a fun zoo. My girls 10 and 12 loved feeding the animals. Staff was very friendly. Zoo was not crowded when we went at 9 am. Most of it is indoors. There are some monkeys and goats outside. You can feed the goats.

Wonderful place to visit-- we had so much fun! The website doesn't really make it apparent how extensive this place it! So many animals, obviously we'll cared for and sociable! The employees are kind and helpful and help with any questions. One gentleman even talked to the kookaburra so they would sing for us! I took my wife there mainly to see a sloth, her favorite animal, and Trey was wonderful and made her sloth encounter so memorable and fun! Thank you Trey! We bought one pack of food for the lamas and goats, but wish we'd bought more! The sloth encounter was only $40 but WELL worth it. The marmosets, golden tamarinds and Moluccan Cokatoo are very sociable, especially the marmosets, so you might want to spend a little more time with them! We were there two hours and LOVED IT! We definitely recommend it, it's very reasonably priced!

The RainForest Zoo was a fun time for our children, but it was somewhat overpriced. I enjoy looking at all of the reptiles, but they weren't that interesting to our children (1 and 6) because they are all the same to them. They did enjoy all of the different monkeys and primates. There were several little baby monkeys, and they were big hits. The information provided with each animal was interesting and educational. Be prepared that the zoo is small, and we got through it in about an hour and a half.

Animals were well taken care off and well fed. All of them were up and active. Jeffrey was my favorite. A cockatoo who loves to be petted. His is lonely, having lost his previous owner. Lots to see and do.

Love it here. They have a large variety of animals. Never seems too busy and staff is friendly. They even had baby goats outside :)

We went to rainforest adventures and took our 6 year old and it wasnsuch an amazing experience. There were so many animals we have never seen before and loved that you could pet some of them. We all had a great time fun for all ages!

Wasn't sure about this place, but we enjoyed it so much. We fed the goats and sheep, watched the reptiles, birds and monkeys. The monkeys were so funny. We will definitely go back.

First off… to address other reviews we read before we came. OF COURSE IT SMELLS YOU IDIOTS IT IS A REPTILE HOUSE!! It’s almost like people have never been to a zoo before. It smells how it should smell if you are sensitive then I would say maybe go elsewhere. It’s really not even that bad. I can’t believe that was a complaint on here once, let alone multiple times.
The animals were well taken care of, and it was clean as a reptile house can be. The staff we encountered were all friendly. Especially the young African American man who fed the porcupines on 8/6 in the afternoon. My family and I saw and spoke to him several times, he was wonderful. That man is an asset to your staff. I wish I got his name to post on here.
We really loved seeing all the species of reptiles they had, plus some other oddity animals. The goats & sheep were so fun to feed, and pet. We really loved the birds in the center.
We had a great time here. I’m happy we came. If you are unsure about the smell let me tell you. It is not that bad, & really only when you first walk in.

This place was so fun. I enjoyed seeing all the animals and seeing the goats while we were there. There was one employee that let out a goat. He was so sweet. I also enjoyed doing the show with Jungle Jim. He was a great show host. He was great with the animals, jokes and magic tricks. I even got to touch a huge tarantula, which is my biggest fear. He was great and I would highly recommend going there and doing the show. I hope I will come back soon, but if you go, I hope you enjoy it. Go Jungle Jim!

My husband and I went on a date here and it was one of the best date experiences yet. :) There weren't huge crowds blocking everything like at City zoos. I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Very cool place. Really enjoyable and very reasonable price. Friendly employees. Will definitely visit again.

It was ok more for kids. Basically indoor zoo with an animal show at some point. Allot of reptiles, birds etc. Did see few goats and tortoises. It was okay. Large store for souvenirs.

They do an animal show that is a must see. They introduce several of the animals that are housed their. Kids are on the first row so they can touch the animals and ask questions.
Around back they have goats and sheep kids can hand feed and pet. The animals are very well behaved. They also have turtles in the back they can pet.
The rest is indoors which is really nice for hot or rainy days. The animals were all very active and/or clearly viewable. A few of the indoor animals are huge porcupines, hedgehogs, birds, snakes, monkeys, lemurs, lizards, turtles, crocodile, ferret, and frogs.
Nice affordable gift shop. Some gifts are pricey but we were able to find some reasonable things for the kids. They have a nice selection.
All of the employees are really nice and knowledgeable. The cages, facility, parking lot and restrooms are all very clean.

We took 3 kids here on Monday December 19, 2022.. it was a great experience! The animals were adorable! And the goats were my absolute FAVORITE!

Fun for the whole family my grandchildren loved it. You have a very informative to each animal or reptile

There is a lot to see and at a great price. The animals in the petting zoo are friendly. We had three children with us and they all had a good time. The Zoo Crew were friendly and helpful. My 1 year old loved these monkeys.

This was my 3rd trip to Rainforest Adventures because I absolutely love the animals. There are a few I feel so sorry for in there like the birds and the monkey, I find myself going back just to check on them. However, this place is expensive for a Family! I think considering its small they should add a family admission discount for RETURN customers. 2nd, the odor is bad and hits you when you walk in the door. 3rd and the worst.. they have this worker that is the rudest worker I’ve ever met in my life. There’s only one, all the others are nice, especially the girls up front. This guy is always toward the end screaming at people petting the guinea pigs. He has found a reason to yell or make a smart remark to me every time I have been in there.
Go, enjoy the animals but beware of the male employee that’s the rudest person alive. 😊

Wonderful experience.
Staff were friendly, animals appear well kept and interacted with visitors.
Very reasonable in price for the area.

This place is amazing. We go to many Zoo's with the grand babies and their parents. The kids were so excited the second we walked in the door. Thank you for doing what you do. This is something we will do every time we visit The Great Smokey Mountains.

Ok so I will first say I did not want to do this but my wife found a Groupon and purchased it for us to to on vacation. We also had our two kids 2 and 6 with us. Now I am glad we went I really enjoyed it. It hard more animals than I thought and the staff was great even walking around with a snake for people to touch. I say if your in town for vacation set aside 2 hours and give this place a try I am glad that I did.

We snagged a Groupon awhile back and had the opportunity to use that. Admission for 4 is us with 2 bags of feed for $30. Probably wouldn’t pay much more than that but was great price for the 4 of us. Exhibits are indoors with exception of the goats and you can come in/out. Was not crowded at all. We went in the afternoon around 2pm on a Saturday. It takes about hour to get through depending on how much time you spend at each exhibit and outside with the goats. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it but it’s a lot of snakes so towards the end felt repetitive. A small gift shop is available. The activity itself is worth checking out if you have children but I was highly disappointed in how filthy the indoor restroom was. Staff standing around without much to do could have been taking care of that.

Nice little zoo for a rainy afternoon visit. The kids enjoyed seeing the inside animals and feeding the baby goats outside. The place is well worth the money and nicely tucked away from all other touristy places. Great find!

Very affordable and I enjoyed seeing everything without it taking all day. I appreciated how well kept everything is. They take great care of their animals, which was a delight to see. Definitely worth the trip!

We really enjoyed our time. The zoo is mostly indoors so is nice for those days with less than ideal weather. Our two year old enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep and petting the guinea pigs. The animals are well cared for and the enclosures kept clean.

Had a great time wish it had more outside zoo exhibits but this would require more space. I always think bigger is better. Still a great place and would go back.

This was a great experience and well worth the admission prices. The children and adults loved it and we highly recommend this zoo.

If you are in the Sevierville area and are an animal lover, don't miss the opportunity to visit this place. Lots of animals to see and the staff is super friendly and attentive!

Nice zoo. Clean, easy to get through and really held the kids attention. Mostly indoors and reasonably priced.

We make sure to visit as much as possible. It's a great rainy or sunny day activity. My husband even got to hold a snake. Love feeding the goats and sheep.

Daughter found this online, SUPER glad we went.
Tropical zone animals of *every* type, from snakes to birds, inside and out.
Friendly staff walk around with occasional arm of animal to touch or hold.
Could not believe it's been there 19 years.
Value priced, VERY VERY nice!
Don't miss.

I wasn't sure how we would like it when we pulled up. It's tucked in a development by hotels and a mall. We thought it wouldn't be very big, but it was. Monkeys, birds, goats, sheep, and many, many others.

Awesome is all I can say about the zoo had lots of cool creatures and one of the snakes had laid some eggs which I have never seen before just on t.v. they are waiting on them to slit as the sign said lots of signs giving facts about the animals there so it is a learning experience and fun for everyone.

Two adults visited here in late September 2023 and enjoyed ourselves. We spent maybe three or so hours here but we like to read the information placards describing the animals. Lots of families with small children here that seemed to be enjoying themselves. Several exhibits that appeared to be empty and others with no information placards. That was disappointing considering the ticket price. Definitely a good activity for a rainy day except if you want to feed the goats outside for $3 per small bag of feed. We were told no tours or shows are available unless you are a school group. First time seeing a “herd” of guinea pigs in a large enclosure that seemed absolutely happy. Probably about 50 of them running around.

Rainforest Adventures is a great family attraction!! Lots of animals that are interesting for both young and old!!! Will definitely visit again!

We booked a tour on Groupon and it was a good little excursion for our little ones. Mostly indoors with lots of different animals which they enjoyed. They especially enjoyed feeding the goats outside. Would recommend if you are looking for a quick but inexpensive outing for younger children.

We live near Rainforest Adventures. It’s like stepping away from home and going somewhere exotic. The animals are so unique.

It’s a small zoo but perfect for kids. So much to see and lots of fun feeding the goats! It was very clean and not crowded at all when we went.

My husband and I are animal enthusiast and love anything animal related. When a friend suggested this place, we were somewhat hesitant because the price was so low. We did not expect much, but RainForest Adventures definitely did not disappoint! There were a bunch of exhibits which were interactive for all ages and all animals were active and healthy. This place is a must stop!

We have visited RainForest each time we stay next store. RainForest has something for ALL to enjoy and is a hands on entertainment

We love to visit Rainforest. We got a deal on Groupon and used it on our vacation. We got to see the sugar gliders out for the first time and my husband got to hold a snake. Staff is friendly and the goats are real friendly!

My family and I went here today 10/29. We happened to find this hidden gem a few years ago and try to make it a constant on our family vacations. It’s an excellent place to visit, especially if the weather isn’t good.
The animals are healthy and happy. They are usually active and playful every time we visit. My daughter loved the large birds that could talk. One was walking around singing “Row, Row, Row your boat”. The staff is always friendly. Great indoor zoo and we will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved it! Row and Jeffrey are the sweetest cockatoos ever and we had a blast with them! Row loves music so if you have the chance play a little tune and he might dance for you and he will tell you hello! Jeffrey loves attention and will come to the cage for pets also!

We visited here on a rainy day in Tennessee and left very impressed. The exhibits are really well done and the animals are some of the most interactive I have ever experienced. The monkeys were playful and interacted with all three of us. Our daughter loved feeding the goats and sheep, but a quick tip: don’t buy feed near the sheep as one of them has learned the system and steals all of your food, I’ll attach the proof in a photo.
The gift shop is pretty large and has a good selection. All in all this was a great place and one of the highlights of our trip thus far.

Hubby and I loved it! I loved seeing all the monkeys and lemurs. They got rid of the tiger looking animal because people complained about the smell. Ridiculous. Only took us about 45 minutes to go thru but I enjoyed it. Taxes are 20 percent. We had 2 dollars off each ticket and it made it 12.99 a person and we still paid $30 !

The animals were lovely. I enjoyed seeing them very much. However, my main complaint is that the animals deserve bigger and better enclosures. It was sad to think that these beautiful creatures have to live out their lives in such small spaces. It is inhumane, and they deserve bigger habitats. The owners should use the revenue that they collect or do a fund raiser to give the animals better lives. It shouldn't just be about money.

The staff was very kind and we loved all of the animals! So glad we made this visit on our vacation.

This is an indoor zoo so it does have a smell. They have lots of reptiles. It is one of the few cheaper things to do and it wasn’t overly crowded. My 3yr old had a blast watching the monkeys and turtles. The

This is a small zoo consisting of many reptiles and primates. There is a strong odor inside, but it diminishes as you walk through the zoo. All of the exhibits are kept clean and it’s obvious that the animals are well cared for. There is an outdoor area in which you can purchase food to hand feed goats and sheep. I purchased our tickets on Groupon and saved a lot of money.

Visited this place not too long ago and was so much fun for the family! It is even fun as an adult as it is for the kiddos. We will be going back asap!

Such an amazing experience! The staff was so sweet & answered several of my questions. All of the enclosures were extremely clean and the appropriate size for the animals. The highlight of my experience was getting to hold the Burmese Python! Definitely recommend coming here, if you love animals this is the perfect place for you.

I saw a truck on the Parkway with an advertisement so decided to stop in. If you like reptiles, this is your place! ;)
It also had lots of other animals - goats, llamas, birds, tortoises and of course monkeys. The animals were playful as the temps were not too hot. It was a nice place to stop and walk around to visit the animals.
I enjoyed the guinea pig pen LOL
Of course, I had to buy some food to feed the goats! they were very friendly when I had food! LOL
I recommend you stop in and the kids will enjoy the visit.

Fun activity to do with the family. Rainforest animals and an outdoor section of farm animals. Gift shop is nice too.

We love Pigeon Forge and always look for new things to do. This is a definite "do"! Great for families and adventure!!

You are truly surprised when you get going in this safari. So many cure, beautiful animals. They have toucans. I could sit for hours talking to them. I know a little crazy. You'll see lemurs, Huge snakes, lizards (big lizards), monkeys. You can touch and play with the guinea pigs, feed goats and sheep (very fun for the kids) once they get past the initial I'm scared...have fun and learn a lot. The younger guy walks around with animals every now and then. But, he knows a lot. Pick his brain. Have a great time. Very nice Hiliday Inn next to it along with a movie theater. Great restaurants. Sunriver Diner is about 5 minutes down the road. But, it's always pretty busy on the main drag.

It was so cool to see the unique animals. I used a Groupon but really enjoyed it. It is very clean . The animals are kept well!

I found this place about two years ago, it was a rainy day and we wanted something inside to do that didn't cost too much money. I'm so glad we choose here. It has now become a must visit every year for us. The price first off is a steal! They have a good selection of animals to look at and have a area outside that you can feed goats. We enjoyed a live show one year and this year a staff member was walking around letting people hold a snake. He was not pushy at all in trying to talk people into doing it either. He was very informative about the snake he had which got my son to hold it! I can't say enough how friendly the staff, the zoo is very clean as well. A overall great atmosphere!

We had a wonderful time! I felt this experience was different than your typical zoo experience due to their main focus on tropical animals. I saw animals I had never seen before!

You can't beat this place for value. With a Groupon you can visit for less than $10 apiece. This includes a bag of food for the sheep and goats outside. The zoo is mostly comprised of animals from the rain forest areas of the world. It will take about two hours to see everything. The parrots can be especially friendly and interesting. Well worth the time and price.

Small indoor zoo but still a fun time. Have outside feeding station. Walk through at you own pace.
Would return

Really love this place people care about their guest and i love the variety. The price was reasonable. Very knowledgeable staff

Cute little zoo that we just happened to find tucked behind the main strip. This is NOT a big zoo with a ton of animals. It’s just what it says, Rainforest Adventure. So if you are expecting lions or elephants this isn’t the place. Lots of very cute lemurs and pretty birds. I think my son’s favorite part was feeding the goats and watching the kookaburras get fed.

terrific place and friendly people its definitely a MUST see... You will not be disappointed. Will for sure go again in near future.

My child enjoyed the animals, exhibits, and interactions. Hiking trails were closed and we like nature, so we thought this would be a good substitute, even though a bit touristy...

This is a fun place to visit with lots of animals to see. You can tell they really take care of their animals and the employees really enjoy their jobs!

I don't understand the poor comments. My family viewed many animals and they were all clean and healthy. If you already have an agenda against animals in captivity just don't go. Don't go just so you can post negative comments after your visit so you feel bad. We personally had the opportunity to see the staff interact with the animals.

I liked the mission of the zoo and the amount of animals they maintain. The kids really loved it. But be forewarned: the smell of urine and musk will practically knock you down when you walk in the place. It looks clean, and most of the animals seem well taken care of, but oh, that smell!
We unfortunately did notice some animals that looked highly stressed, and I'm sincerely hoping it was a temporary problem for them. Specifically, one lemur cage and the capuchin monkeys had a high stress situation going on. But the kids didn't realize what was going on--they just loved looking at the animals and learning about them.
With just a little bit better management this could be a gem of a zoo. The price was reasonable and the kids loved it.

I found this in one of their local coupon books so we decided to check it out. As many times as we go to Pigeon Forge, I've apparently not noticed it It's not a big place but we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's inexpensive and fun. The Techs interacted with the kids. Fun stuff!

Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY, is just the beginning. I have been to many zoos and none of them can compare to this. This is a great place to see many types animals that you never see any where else.

It's a small zoo mostly indoors that has animals found in rain forest only. They do have some goats to feed and an emu(?). Free parking and a gift shop. We had a coupon for 1$ off and they have a senior rate.

One of the coolest animal encounters in the area, at under $20/ticket! We are locals and discovered this spot from a list of things to do in Sevierville. We have visited Parrot Mountain and Zoo Knoxville frequently, and this was a totally different experience. From exotic birds and mammals to beautiful reptiles and amphibians, and everything in between, there is something for everyone. We loved watching the baby primates playing. It wasn’t overly crowded when we visited, so the keeper let us watch him feed the lemurs some treats, and even let us hold Beetlejuice, the California King Snake. The habitats were very clean and I could tell they put a lot of effort into the animals’ well-being. It was a fun and memorable experience. We will definitely be back!

As my granddaughter would say “This Is the Greatest Birthday Ever!!!” We loved it! I can say this for myself as well as for the rest of my family we enjoyed seeing animals that we would never had seen anywhere else and the staff were very helpful. It was so clean too. Next time we come I’m gonna HVE to bring my mom she would absolutely love it. Thank you for ALL the hard work y’all do to keep this rainforest zoo here in the mountains!!!

They have a wide variety of animals... some we had never seen or heard of before which blew our minds! For a couple hours of entertainment, it was a good price! We loved that we had opportunities to speak with the caregivers there and also had some up close interactions with the animals. We will be back!

We absolutely enjoyed our visit! We saw a amazing variety of rainforest animals, and fed some cute and hungry goat and sheep. This was a very entertaining indoor/outdoor zoo!

This trip was the third time we have taken our kids ages 3 and 5 to this zoo and my niece’s first time age 12. They all loved it! We feel like the animals are well cared for. They are in glass cages and tanks but I feel like they are not abused or neglected like some places you see animals in. The highlight for my 3 year old son was the turtles! He loves the “really big turtles” out back beside the petting zoo. The highlight for my 5 year old daughter was seeing the sheep in the petting zoo. The highlight for my 12 year old niece was the Ring Tailed Lemurs. I enjoy most of all seeing my kids see animals they have learned about up close. It’s mostly indoors. It’s not too large. The staff are always friendly. It’s off the crowded parkway! It’s a great place in my opinion!

This is an indoor zoo that also has an outdoor area outback where you can feed goats. It is self guided and was pretty enjoyable. Not the best but far from being bad. Gift shop employees were very nice. If you have smaller kids they will enjoy it. Price was also pretty reasonable. We were too late to do the sloth experience.

We had no idea what to expect when we went to this zoo, but it far exceeded my family's expectations. My teenage girl and 8-year-old boy both loved it! Highly recommend it!

Great place for a family visit. We Enjoyed all the attractions and things offered. We will visit again and search out new locations to attend because it was such a great experience.

My children love seeing all the animals like snakes, lemurs, various birds and especially the guinea pigs.

I would rate it higher for the amount of animals they have. The reason for the low rating is the fact that many of the cages were dirty and did not have fresh feces either! Several of the animals looked underfed. Also, the rats and other rodents were being fed cat food. As a pet store owner, I put the poor conditions on the employees! BTW, the girls at the front were not outgoing and friendly. The younger gentleman tried to explain that he used a wet towel to help one of the reticulated pythons shed. They had NO water in their enclosure! I could go on but I think you get the drift. Step up your game or close your doors!

This is a nice ‘inside’ zoo. There are a few animals outside that are definitely worth going out for but for the most part you aren’t having to endure the summer heat and humidity. Price was great. Definitely glad we went. Great for all ages!

This is an old Zoo that is doing the best it can; but it is not enough. They have an interesting variety of animals. However many of those animals, esp the mammals, need to have access to the outdoors, fresh air, sunshine, and larger enclosures. I was much saddened by the cockatoo clinging to the front of his enclosure just begging for attention- something to do and to have company -that was a terrible way to keep a sensitive, social being.
I will not return - we should do better than this

We enjoyed our time at this zoo. The monkeys were hilarious and the goats outside, esp the young ones, were adorable! Nice displays with details written next to each exhibit.

Great zoo full of all tropical and some no tropical types! It’s great for families and couples. The exhibits allow the animals to almost interact with people bc they have large glass windows. There’s a petting area outside too! Highly recommend and will visit again!

I loved looking at all the rainforest exhibits. However I wasn’t clear that the snakes only come out as “shows”. Which is why I chose this. My husband and kids wanted to be able to interact so as a wife/mother I left feeling guilty that they didn’t get the very thing I talked up.

For the price that you pay, the amount of animals that they have isn't bad. It would be better if it took a little bit more time to go through though. They have a little bit of everything for all animal lovers

RainForest Adventures have reasonable rates and the staff is very friendly! My family has visited several times. They are also very willing to help in the community. Fun for youth and adults. Awesome place for a group event, church, school, etc!

They're open everyday of the week and it affordable for the whole family. Great selection of animals and fun for everyone to enjoy.

The grandkids loved holding a snake and looking at geckos and lizards and monkeys and turtles and all sorts of critters. The museum is well laid out, reasonable priced and a good diversion for kids, especially on a rainy day.

I’ve passed this place numerous times, but never went based on my assumptions. However, this is a great experience, with a good variety of animals to see. What was most impressive was the overall cleanliness of the experience and caliber of the employees. Throughout our visit the employees were very attentive to animal care, as well as engaging with visitors. We had a great visit, would highly recommend.

Rainforest Zoo is an excellent place for families to visit - rain or shine! There are many interactive exhiibits and the staff is very knowledgeable about the animals. The gift shop is a great stop while at the zoo with unique items! Young kids to young at heart will enjoy this attraction!

These animals are beautiful. It is so much fun to sit and observe animals that you typically do not see. You can make a whole day trip out of this area of Pigeon Forge.

The RainForest Adventure Zoo was a very enjoyable viewing experience. Good for adults with or without kids.

This attraction will surpass any expectation you have. So much to see and do, lots of interacting and hands on exhibits, and plenty of fun for the kiddos. Did I mention it was beautiful? Will definitely be going back!!!

My husband and I visited Rainforest Adventures today. It was a great little find. It smells a bit when you first enter, however it was very interesting. There was a great variety of small animals. We bought food and fed the goats who currently have babies. It was good fun. It takes about an hour to see everything. Well worth a visit for all ages. Parking is free.

Very intimate and close up with the animals on exhibit, staff is amazing! Very reasonable gift shop as well and was overall amazing.. very glad we found this gem on our trip to TN! Recommend 10/10

We went with our 18 yrs old and 10 yrs old granddaughters. We all had an amazing time. I have absolutely never seen animals, birds or amphibians so alert or active in a zoo environment. They all really put on a show.

We loved all the monkeys and the kids loved feeding the goats. We had a very fun trip the whole family enjoyed it

This is a nice place to visit complete with lots of animals, birds and reptiles. Feed the goats and sheep its a lots of fun .

Must Do in Pigeon Forge..., snakes (my husband loved them lol), birds (the parrots were my favorite), monkeys....We loved seeing all the animals. My daughters loved feeding the goats and sheep, actually I did too. Well worth a family visit. Staff was so friendly and helpful.

Great mostly indoor zoo! We have been twice and look forward to visiting again. Our favorite area was the capuchins on the deck out back.

This is one of my families favorite things to do when we go to Pigeon Forge. We love to see the animals and the staff is so friendly.

This place is a mini zoo that features rainforest animals and reptiles. The enclosures were of decent size and the animals seemed really happy. I really liked that the critter housing had fun effects like waterfalls. Some of them also had some beautiful designs.
It also had a petting zoo outside that had goats. Our admission came with two bags of feed, but they also had some food outside for sale for 50 cents. My daughter laughed and smiled so much and really enjoyed the interaction with the goats.
It started to rain after we entered, but since it's mostly indoor zoo, it's a perfect activity for when it is raining outside. Even the outside petting zoo had cover to where you could feed the goats without getting rained on.
I read some reviews before I went and some people complained of a smell. When I went, I didn't feel like it smelled any worse than any other zoo I have been to.
Lastly, it had a really neat gift shop. The merchandise was actually affordable and we were able to get a few things. It had stuffed animals, post cards, gemstones, puzzles and other learning toys.
We caught a deal online for our family so it was very affordable! I had this place on my radar for a long time, and I'm glad we had a chance to come here. My whole family had a lot of fun.

What a great place to spend an afternoon while on vacation in the Smokies! My 13 year old daughter and I loved this precious little zoo...we got the BEST pictures and lived feeding the goats and sheep! The entire place was very clean and the animals were obviously well taken care of.

The variety of animals. We were able to feed the goats, hold a snake, watch them clean the snake boxes and feed the snakes. Lotsa choices in the gift shop. Personnel were helpful and accommodating. Would definitely go again. A hidden gem!

Maybe it was just the day, but I was really disappointed in the experience. The worst part was a tie between the rats that look to be repeatedly and purposely bred over and over for an exhibit, or the fact the sheep desperately needed hay or something down... Emus were drinking from drain pipes... 0/10 stars, would not go again.
Also they sell axolotls and literally have them on the counter in the shop in a tiny sterilite container... beyond disappointed in this place and wish I had not supported them by buying tickets and visiting. Was not at all worth what was paid. Only one person in the place actually seemed to care about the animals and the others were just there because it was a job or for the money. Comments were made about how many axolotls they're selling.

This place never disappoints. My family enjoys doing this every year we come to the area. It has become a family tradition that we will continue for years to come.

Our time here was great! I highly recommend you give them a visit! If you are in the area, this is a destination that must be on your itinerary. We are even a group of college students and loved our time there!

The zoo has a good variety of animals to see. It takes a good hour to see the whole zoo, but you can take more time. Our sons enjoyed the goats and sheep as well as the large tortoises.

Loved the Rainforest zoo...only negative is thought would have more...however enjoyed it very much..

Absolutely amazing staff and overall experience. The animals were super cool and I loved being able to feed the goats and sheep!!

this zoo is definitely worth the money , they have a lot of animals ive never heard of or seen before . my family enjoyed it. The staff was also very friendly

Husband and I decided to stop in while on our vacation due to the rain. Pleasant attraction that is tucked away off the main strip. Interesting animals to observe and read about. Inexpensive stop if your trying to kill time, while having a little fun feeding the goats and emus. Fun for couples, families and groups.

Nice and cool wandering around inside with lots to see and then you can also wander outside to see some larger outdoor animals. Good activity for the small children!!

Wow this was fun for the entire family. Not to big not to small. Great amount of animals and variety. My family loved it and the staff was great. We're even getting an Axolotl.

My family of 4 visited on Friday 6/13/2025. Truly a hidden gem!!
The ladies upfront were friendly and very welcoming. We got there around 1:50ishpm which gave us plenty of time to explore and see all the cool animals. My kiddos loved that they were very active and loved getting to be able to feed the goats and llamas. There was a live animal show at 3pm with Jungle Jim.. Jungle Jim was AWESOME, more like phenomenal! He was very educational, did magic acts, called upon volunteers (kiddos and adults), let us pet animals he brought out, and was hilarious! He didn’t only keep the kiddos laughing but he kept us parents laughing too. Thank you Rainforest Adventures and Jungle Jim for making our visit top tier. We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip back to the Smokies.

It was okay. The issues were dead fish, and some animals like the mice had green slime in the water. We did get to pet the porcupine and loved the goats

We absolutely love this place. We’ve been bringing students and family for nearly 10 years. The staff is super friendly. Animals are healthy and well cared for. We see something new every time we come.

took grandchildren we all had a really good time. we really liked feeding the goats and sheep. Lots of anaimals to see

Jungle Jim is why you go! Best animal show I have ever seen - he is hilarious, engaging, and knowledgeable. My whole family was in awe! I’ll remember cash next time (he deserves a tip!) Animals seemed well cared for, no distress, very clean.

Went at opening time and it was easy to find. Very well maintained and the animals were very well cared for! The price was great for admission and also in the gift shop.Drinks are available for purchase but they dont sell food.Enjoyed feeding and petting the animals!

The Rainforest Zoo is always a must go on our family vacation to Pigeon Forge! All of my family members enjoy themselves at the zoo. The turtlles are among our favorite animals at the zoo. The kids also enjoy seeing so many different animals all in one place. My son enjoys seeing the monkeys, while my daughter loves feeding the goats! They are always super excited to get an amazing gift at the gift shop to remeber their wonderful time their. All of the staff are also amazing and super friendly and willing to answer any questions regarding the animals. This place is a must to visit if you are in the area.
PS: The zoo isn't just for kids. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves visiting during our honeymoon in 2008! ;)

We stopped by here while in town and had a blast.
It seemed like they took excellent care of the animals.
They also have a outdoor petty and feeding part where you can feed and pet goats and sheep.
The employees were friendly and helpful.
We had a great time!

Great place, very clean, great staff!! The sloth experience is an absolute must!! The animals are clearly well taken care of - enclosures are very clean, animals look healthy and active. Highly recommend!

Great place for family fun of all ages! The staff was friendly and the zoo was amazing! You will get to enjoy the variety of beautiful animals!

My 22 month old granddaughter Addison loved ALL the animals! She had a great time so the rest of the family (9) had an awesome time!
Will probably go back the next time we visit Pigeon Forge😀

Great place for all ages. If you need something to do on a rainy day this is a good option. Price is not but for a tourist town.

It was awesome, took my pops as a slow down to our day after being on helicopter ride, love all the animals except the snakes haha, my pops love it got c animals he's only seen on TV ,he took pics of every animal n every sign he enjoyed the noisy big parrot ,really awesome place for everyone love my pops c his face in amazement was everything I hoped it be for him

If you like lizards this is the place. They have alot of them! The animal show is pretty cool too and you learn some things about animals you probably didnt know

Awesome place to visit. Highly recommend seeing ‘The animals are interesting and some out of the ordinary.

Enjoyed our visit. Loved feeding the goats and chickens. There were animals everywhere to meet. Definitely will go and visit again.

This was our third time visiting this zoo. It’s not huge but it keeps my children entertained for a bit. They love seeing all the monkeys and feeding the goats. Also if you look on Groupon you can get a deal on admission.

My favorite part of the whole visit was when I got to hold a California King Snake! It was awesome! The whole experience was great. Good selection of amazing animals to see. You can even feed the goats & emus!

I have been to Gatlinburg many times and always wanted to come visit the Rainforest Adventures Zoo and time always seemed to slip away..
This was an adventure for the whole family, and memories that we will share for a lifetime.

Wonderful little zoo! We got an amazing deal on Groupon. There is a lot of pride in the care of this place. The gift shop had great prices too. Staff are wonderfully pleasant. We will be back for sure.

Loved coming here! I have been hee several times and unlike a lot of other zoos it is never boring after the first visit! I have always enjoyed the reptile exhibits and more specific the snakes!

I'm not sure how this place gets the reviews that it does but I'm glad I was able to get it for cheap on Groupon or else I would have felt completely ripped off.
There isn't much to see. A bunch of Lemurs, snakes, rats, a couple rare species of rodents, and some talking parrots (which was the best part). It took a total of 20 minutes to view the whole place and that included feeding the goats and sheep.
I'm not sure how some people spent more than an hour in here unless they crawled through it. Not impressed.

For $19 a ticket, I expected a lot more. The views were limited to reptiles, rodents, birds, monkeys, porcupines and goats. The staff wasn’t very pleasant. No military discount, but there are free coupon books and brochures all over town that can help save you one or two dollars off admission. For $3, you can feed goats.

Staff at the front sucked and over charged us
But the animals were great and pretty big zoo
Loved feeding the goats

I'm a disabled vet, and we were trying to get out of the house for a while. We came in, and the elderly employee cut the other employee off that was helping us. She tried to tell me my service dog needs to be in a zippered carrier, then asked for proof she's a service dog, and vaccination status, which are all ILLEGAL under ADA laws. Then, talked to the other employee, and guests, that she doesn't see why I have an issue with providing her proof. When I asked her why she's worried about a trained service dog, and not the children, and adults, that come in there screaming, hitting the glass, and being unruly, I was threatened that she will call the police, and have us arrested, if the animals get upset over my service dog, even if she's not doing anything. She threatened us with the police 2 more times, with me openly asking for her to call them. As we got our refund, because we were not gonna spend our money there, I told the woman she is completely ignorant of the ADA laws, and I was told to watch my language, and leave the store. It's amazing that because I was following ADA laws, these ignorant people's first instinct is to call the cops because I refused to show documentation, or put my service dog into a carrier. This old lady needs some serious education on disability laws, otherwise needs to be let go. She's a total threat to the sanity of the customers

Lots of unique animals. Loved how close you can get to them. People caring for the animals seem to really care about them. Rude to us but kind to the animals so ill take it.

Me and my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the Rainforest Adventures. The oldest loved the axolotls and youngest couldn't decide her favorite. She liked petting Jeffrey, sad biggest snake she ever seen. Also the cutest monkeys ever. Definitely will return

The guests were amazing. The price for all we did was phenomenal. Loved every single second of our visit. 100% recommend this to all family. Us adults probably enjoyed it as much or more then kids.

This place is fantastic, with animals you don't normally see at a zoo. The people are friendly and the prices are good. Overall, I prefer this to a normal zoo.

The price is a little to high for what my kids saw. There wasn't much animals there and the front desk service wasn't the greatest. But the zoo keeper was friendly and inviting.

A bit anticlimactic. Would of been nice to have a route and more of guidance throughout since littles can’t read signs. Daughter had fun at times but was bored and ready to leave by the end.

The rainforest zoo was an excellent choice during our end of summer Pigeon Forge vacation. My husband and I took our 6 year old son and we all absolutely loved it!! My sons favorite were the snakes and lemurs. I loved the birds and feeding the goats. We had such a wonderful time and were able to see tons of animals. We plan on going back on our next trip!! We highly recommend the rainforest zoo!!

Have been several times with my children on school field trips. All my children as well as my husband and I enjoyed the adventure. The show at the beginning was very exciting with the guide showing certain animals and letting the children interact in the show. Walking thru the animal exhibits was great as well. Will go again!!!

Great experience. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Jungle Jim is the best!!! Made the show fun for all ages. It’s clean fun!!! Don’t be a Karen😂 about it the humor he has, it’s tasteful but hilarious!!!! We had a great time. Thanks again Jungle Jim, Beverly, Hannah and Courtney…we’ll be back for sure. Oh yeah, I forgot…I didn’t like the spiders 🕷️

This was our second time returning and it was even better this time around. They have three sloths and offer experiences to pet and feed them. The best part of the day was jungle jim. Jim allowed everyone to pet the animals and did some bits of magic as well. It was very interactive and super fun. The animals all look healthy and lots of unique animals I had never saw before. Wonderful memories were made today. Five stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

To see all these animals in these tiny tiny enclosures was sickening. My kids were even saddened by it. This place is depressing and heartbreaking. Please don't go here- I feel so guilty that I contributed to the suffering of these poor creatures.

We live locally and decided to go visit since we have never been there. The staff were nice. They do give a local discount. My only complaint was the strong urine smell. They have a variety of small animals including monkeys, snakes, lizards, birds, and they also have an area were there are goats you can feed food for $3.

The zoo was average except for the poor parrots who were caged outside in the tremendous heat and the poor monkey who was having a hard time with being confined to a small area. He seemed to have OCD and would touch the left wall, bounce off and do the same thing to the right wall...over and over and over again! The smell at times got pretty bad but, the temps were near 95 the day we went. Feeding the goats was the best part of the visit!

My husband, daughter and I visited today. We were the only customers at the front desk to purchase tickets and were greeted very rudely. We had purchased 2 tickets on Groupon and needed to purchase another ticket. We had a few questions prior to purchasing, but she was extremely rude and didn’t want to answer questions and rolled her eyes at us several times. I asked her name, but she refused to give it to me and said “if you need to talk to the manager then I’m it” and laughed really loud. There were 2 people at the front desk, one older lady with dark hair and the ‘manager’ was young with long blond hair. My daughter really wanted to see the animals so, against my better judgement, we continued with our visit and listened to her talk and laugh about us as we walked away. We made it through the exhibits for about 10 minutes and had to leave. The smell is terrible from all the extremely dirty animal encloses. The smell made us very nauseated. So many other things to do in the area. Don’t waste your money here!!

We have been here many times and I still love to visit. I love chatting with the cockatoos. They are hilarious! We loved Row. He sings row row row your boat. We also enjoy the goats in the outdoor area. They are cute and funny and love the food. You can purchase some at the front for 3.00. Everyone was friendly. They also have axolotls for sale. They had all sizes. So cute! It is worth a walk through. We spent an hour but you could spend longer for sure.

When we arrived, the young lady at the front was extremely nice. Our daughter is 3 and she had a blast! All staff was very nice and courteous, and the admission price is only $12.99 for adults. Would definitely recommend.

We have been down Collier road innumerable times, but have never noticed the zoo - it is just off Collier. The admission was extremely reasonable. We enjoyed watching the birds, monkeys, goats, etc. I could willingly pass on the spiders and reptiles. :) We will probably go again.

Cute little zoo, we were lucky enough to be there during feeding time which was fun to see the animals eat and interact with their keepers.

A wonderful place to visit when you're in Pigeon Forge. The staff is helpful and the exhibits are designed with kids in mind. We brought our daughter when she was young and this year I brought her son. He had a great time and already wants to have a return visit.

Everything was nice. They had different reptiles and birds mainly species in the rainforest area. They do shows for large groups and they had the souvenier shop. They also have an area where you can feed the goats in which my adult child, teen and kids loved. I recommend it for some peaceful family fun!!

We always try to visit the zoo and/or aquarium whenever we travel as a family and I really enjoyed our time here. This one happens to be a zoo we've visited a couple of times. And each time we head back to GB/PF we try to visit. Should certainly be on your to-do list.

Luckily, we found this gem of an attraction in a visitors brochure when checking into our cabin last week. The whole family, parents, grandparents, and kids, all went together and EVERYONE enjoyed the afternoon. The animals included everything from the cute-cuddly to the creepy-crawly - my son was in heaven. Staff members walked around with some critters so we could see them up close. We will definitely be back.

Was able to see some rare and really cute animals. The porcupines were adorable and enjoyed apples and corn cobs. Lemurs weren’t very active and slept mostly. There was a rat snake that I was able to hold. Workers give you food to feed sheep and goats, feed with flat hands not fingers. Great value for money. Took us 1.5 hr to tour. There is a small outside section and everything inside is on ground floor. Gift shop is pricey and mostly
Junk.

We had a Groupon for our visit and were pleased for the money. When you first walk in, we all noticed it smelled like urine and I dreaded getting back to the animals thinking it would be worse. It was much better in that area and we enjoyed seeing all the animals and fun little creatures! It was a bonus to feed the goats and sheep!

The show with the older gentleman animal trainer was ahhhhmazing. He was fun for all ages! The animals were very cool to see, it is a bit pungent smelling but ya are at an animal involved attraction 😉

We didn't know what to expect. As soon as we walked in, we were taken by surprise how nice this is. Our 7 year old grandson was very excited. Many reptiles, spiders, snakes, frogs and much more. Birds. Outside you can feed the goats and sheep. Saw monkeys and emus. Very clean. We were there for lunchtime for all the critters. They were very active. Admission was reasonably priced. Bought a few items in the gift shop. If you're in the area, I would recommend this attraction.

We loved the zoo. The animals were great and looked well taken care of. The petting area was very nice and clean considering it had been raining. The only reason I did t give it 5 stars is the smell. It hits you right in the face as you walk in and is overwhelming.

Had so much fun the monkeys were very lively and it took a little while to see everything so plan to be there couple hours also recommend Groupon

I purchased admission for our family of four and two bags of animal feed on Groupon for a reasonable price. Rainforest Adventures is conveniently located near Wal-Mart, so it was easy to find. The attraction offered ample parking available. We were greeted upon entering and the nice attendant even helped me redeem my Groupon voucher.
Most of the exhibits are indoors and behind glass. There are a variety of small mammals, reptiles, frogs, birds, and other exotic creatures. The animals seemed to be well cared for and some even interacted with us from behind the glass. There is an outdoor petting area where you can feed goats and sheep. My wife and boys enjoyed this. One of the goats snatched a half-full bag of feed from my son, so be watchful! It gave us a good chuckle. There’s also a very nice porcupine exhibit and cockatoo viewing area as well.
One of the employees brought out a snake and allowed us to hold it. My oldest son really enjoyed this. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly. Of course we had to hit up the gift shop on the way out. It was a little expensive, but considering it helps subsidize the operational costs for the zoo, it was worth it.
We spent a couple hours walking through and petting the animals. It’s not a huge exhibit, but it is packed with animals. It was definitely worth the cost of admission and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

When you are in the Pigeon Forge area, this is a must do! The staff is friendly and helpful. There is something for everyone of all ages. It is a great value for great family fun!

This place was awesome! There were so many different kinds of exotic animals! They had reptiles (snakes, lizards, tortoises, skinks), frogs, monkeys, exotic birds, spiders, lemurs, and even a sloth! You could also buy a bag of food and feed the goats, llamas, and emus. We spent about two hours here. Highly recommend!

We have kids 5y & 1y, and we were done in about 30-40min. It’s mostly indoors, with the tortoises & goats outside. We got to feed the tortoises lettuce which was cool. The kids didn’t really care about the goats. It was cool to see the animals, but don’t plan on this taking up half of your day.

Don't believe the internet! They don't have as many things as it promotes. Most of the things can be seen at a pet store. People working there were super nice! Surprise was porcupines and a sloth and a huge group of Guinea pigs (not listed on the internet). You can have a sloth interaction for additional fee. Just meh.

We took our kids. Very affordable for a family of four. They absolutely loved it. Had a bird telling us he loved us and hello. Fed goats. The zoo is small and not overwhelming like some. It's mostly inside so you can beat the heat. We really enjoyed it. A lot of birds and reptiles but they aren't the only thing to see. Staff was super friendly and their gift shop had nice selections. You can get a penny pressed for super cheap souvenir too! We go everytime we're in pigeon forge!

An awesome sight to see! Lots of unique animals and you can even feed the goats and lambs. If you are in the area you must put this on your list of things to see.

Small place but a fun way to spend some time. Was great as the weather outdoors was extremely wet and stormy. I have been a parrot owner for over 25 years and really enjoyed the center play gym the large parrots are provided. One cockatoo in particular seemed very anxious to interact with my daughter and impress with a great vocabulary. The cockatoo then went and cuddled with the large cava type rodents. It was precious. My guess is that bird had been a pet or still is and it was very happy.

I love animals, so this was a must see! There are so many animals, many of which I have never seen! It was great to see the animals in their little habitats and learn many interesting facts. My favorite part is the petting zoo with goats, sheep, emu and more. You also see some animals in the different stages of life. The gift shop is huge with something for everyone! Check the schedule for interactive shows!
GO...you will not be disappointed!!

This is a great place to visit in the Pigeon Forge area! All of the enclosures and facilities were very clean. There were a good number of animals. This would especially be great for a rainy day since 90% of it is inside, and the rest is mostly covered. We will definitely come back next time!

We visited with a handicap child in w/c with school. It is one of the few handicapped places she could go with her class that she could do all activities. It was great. I have a pic of her with her hand on the glass with a lemur with his hand on hers. It's precious and very treasured memory we have.

well where do i begin me and my family came to pigeon forge for over night and i wonted to take them to this zoo so i bought the tickets online it was about 3:15 or so when i bought them after we checked in to our hotel we went straight over there we got there between 4:30-4:40 and they where closed and they closed at 5 PM so i wont be going back here anytime soon they should have a cut off time so nobody will by tickets that's not right.

Walking in you wind though paths with "tree" wall which have enclosures with Monkeys, snakes, tortoises, birds, and African Porcupines to name a few. It was kind of like being in a mixed animal house at a zoo, so good for rainy days. I enjoy zoos so it was neat to see a few animals that I either rarely or do not think I have seen in a zoo. Don't touch the Cockatoos, but one did say "Hello" and "I Love You".

I loved this place. The staff was wonderful. It was affordable and my 4 year old granddaughter had so much fun!. She got to pet animals, hold a snake and feed sheep and goats. It was great!

We had such a blast at the Rainforest Adventures!! This little gem may be one of Sevierville's bet kept secrets- and I'm hoping to expose the secret!! The animals seem very well cared for and the facility is clean. There are all sorts of animals to see and the placards are very informational. You can feed goats and llamas which is fun. The kookaburras are a hoot!!! For us, the biggest highlight of this trip was the Sloth Encounter!!! Yes- you can buy a sloth encounter where you get to interact with them and feed them their favorite treats!! My daughter is a huge sloth lover, so this was a real treat for her!! The keepers definitely know their business and are very, very conscientious about the animals during this event. We had a great time and will definitely do it again. This was our second visit to the facility, our first Sloth encounter and it was definitely memorable!!

Wonderful place. Why only 4 out of 5? Wanted more!
A great place to see something different than just the standard zoo animals.
Animals I had never seen in person before.
A wonderful place, great price and a must stop if your in the area

It was good, For a rainy day take your time go slow take it in, The birds know row row row your boat, Lots of cool critters.

The coupon in the catalog books don't work for online booking. You need to present the coupon in person. If you book online they do not refund you when you enter and explain the problem. According to the cashier you come and pay in person to get the discount .
Problem is the discount coupon does NOT state that.

There was a lot to see for everyone to be entertained, parents, children, etc. Tickets are affordable and the gift shop is amazing.

We were wanting to have a date day and it was raining. Was kinda bummed. Until I looked up attractions for indoors.
Absolutely loved rainforest adventure. It is inside . The animals were so cool and we enjoyed feeding animals by hand. There was even a show.
Trust me everyone no matter what age will love going here .
We have been several times and it is one of our favorite attractions.

My wife and I love this place. We don’t live to far and have been 2 times in about 3 months. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

On Sunday 7/17/22 myself, my mom, my husband, my kids and my grandkids drove from Frankfort, KY to your facility to enjoy the day. When we 1st walked in, there was a woman standing there, not sure if she was a greeter or what. One of my grandkids which is 8 made a comment about the smell of the animals. Your employee looked at her and said well atleast you get air conditioning, you cant have it all. I thought to myself that was rude, but anyways I went on and didnt say anything. Then she tells me she needs to see my tickets, so I handed them to her and told her one of my grandkids didnt get to come so we need to upgrade one of our child tickets to an adult ticket and pay the difference. She says ok. Then she goes around our group and ask each kid how old they are. She starts with one of my granddaughters which just turned 12, then she goes to the next one and she says she is 13, so on and so on. She gets to my 12 year old son and when he tells her he is 12 (which he is) your employee looks at him and says there is no way, you look older than 12. Then she goes back to my first granddaughter and says your 13, I said no she is 12 and your employee raises her voice at me and says she just told me she is 13, she doesnt know how old she is. I said she is 12 and she is 13. She literally starts yelling at my granddaughter like she is grown accusing her of saying she was 13 the first time she ask. Then she looks at my family and says well lets start over and let me line you up like a school grade class and we will go through your ages again. At that point I was done. Ive never been so disrespected in my life in a business. That woman should have been fired on the spot. Needless to say we drove 4 hours for nothing because there was no way I would have ever let my family go through your zoo after that.

Very affordable for the family. My daughter's are 8 and 9 and they really enjoyed the interaction with the animals. Its a great place to visit all year long.

This is a great place for kids and families! Most of it is indoors so it's good for rainy days and hot days ! You get up close and personal with the goats and sheep. Buy some of the food to give them........they love it.

We knew that we were going to visit RainForest Adventures and ended up visiting on a rainy day ... perfect to keep the kids busy. All animals are very well kept. This place is kept clean (of course animals will smell). And the staff is friendly. You can purchase food to feed the outdoor animals. By each animal window is a placard that tells the name, where it’s from and other info. You will spend over an hour in there.

This zoo is so awesome! It is very family friendly. A lot of unique animals and so much more. We were really impressed with this place. The staff is very friendly as well. We will definitely go back.

The staff at the Rainforest are extremely knowledgeable with degrees in a variety of animal care and husbandary! We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the zoo, the exhibits, the space for the animals, and the knowledge of all the staff. The animals are well taken care of!!! Ann one of the keepers was friendly, even letting my daughter who has worked with birds in a zoological setting hold a bird! This was the highlight of our TN trip for her! Thanks again for educating the public on rainforest habitats!!

Worth the visit. Animals were fun to see and we loved spending some time just watching the monkeys. Worth the visit Worth my teens.

WAY too clostly unless you use GROUPON. Way too short of a tour. Hippies with numerous arm and neck tattoos run the place and act as if they care less about the animals

We stayed within walking distance. Went on a Sunday. It was a great place to observe animals and learn more about each species. Plus we were able to feed the goats. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I were in Sevierville with our grandson and took him the RainForest Adventures Zoo, He loved it and the place is clean!!!! With great staff!! the staff had animals walking around in the building for you to touch and hold. My 4 year old grandson held the snake!!! The outside area for feeding the goats was our favorite part.

We found this on Groupon and decided to give it a try was disappointed to find out that they stopped the interaction with the porcupine. All of the zoo is inside outside of the petting zoo with the goats. Overall the zoo is small with exhibits featuring lemurs and other small monkeys, some birds and reptiles. The zoo wasn't bad but it wasn't the best. The restrooms we're not the cleanest but the staff were friendly

Feeding the goats was hilarious—my best friend, after a bit of charming, even coaxed a shy one down from its perch. We caught the monkeys racing for grapes, admired the reptiles from a safe distance, and finally got a peek at the baby otters (I absolutely adore them) thanks to a kind staff member who wrangled them back for us. The animals looked well cared for, and you could even see them prepping food for some of the animals. The staff clearly loved their work. We spent about an hour and a half there and could have spent more if the otters were in their main habitat.

Prior to our most recent trip to Gatlinburg, I had never been to the Rainforest Adventures Zoo. After it's discovery, my son and I fell in love with it! They have coupons on their website and the tickets are very reasonable!
Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They had the cutest animals and it was just an overall amazing experience.
I will return again soon! :)

I would recommend anyone to visit Rainforest adventures. They have animals here I haven’t seen before. It was an awesomely amazing adventure!

Such a cool little place and worth the money. This was our last outting on Mothers Day weekend and I was not disappointed. Our kids loved it!

It was fun looking at all the animals and feeding the goats. My grandkids loved looking at all the windows looking and trying to find the animals. Some animals were hiding and some were up front giving you a show. we had a great time.

My husband and I visited one morning. Very clean and lots of different animals. Make sure you buy some bags of food in the gift shop to feed the goats and sheep! They are so funny. The monkeys were fun to watch. I would recommend this to anyone...young or old!

I was so excited to take my son because we both love animals. Checked ahead to make sure they would be open and walked to the desk listening to the employees talking about how they didn’t want tourists coming in and they should just be dealing with their community right now (we were standing right in front of them). We turned and walked out since obliviously we were not wanted there. Great way to run a business. Don’t worry I’ll make sure to share that customers are not welcome. My son was extremely disappointed we did not get to see and feed the animals.

We really enjoyed our time at this mostly indoor zoo. We are animal lovers and have been to many zoos. However, we were able to see few new animals and enjoyed all the other animals as well. We learned some new things and had some new experiences. The staff were very nice with some of the interactions we had.
We were disappointed to not see any demonstrations, interaction with the animals, etc. I am sure this is because of COVID, but still thought there may have been a way for them to work around this.
We enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep.
Great Zoo
The is such an awesome zoo!! So many animals to see and they are in incredible enclosures! Would recommend if you are in town to stop here and visit. Great stop for all ages! Lots to offer in the gift shop!
