The falls are a cool sight. However the ranger there was very concerned about my dog staying in the car but did nothing about the many non-mask wearers. It’s fairly spacious but we had issues with others on the foot bridge with no masks and no distancing. Might have been a better use of the rangers energy to focus on that. We left and went to Delaware State Forest Park. Great hiking trails there and everyone wears masks or is mindful of distancing. Dogs are welcome.

These falls were beautiful and easy to find. If using a GPS, have it take you to the Boy Scout Camp, as the parking lot for the falls is just inside. VERY short walk to falls. I was able to do it in slip on sandals with no issues. Take your camera!

I thought my wife and I had seen all the waterfalls between Stroudsburg and Milford, and then we hear about this one, so we had to go there. It was worth the stop. Its a great little waterfall that may be off the beaten path, but that what makes it beautiful; its so unspoiled.

It's a free experience for the whole family. One can walk, climb or just sit to take in the beautiful fall.

The falls are impressive and easy to get to - right off the parking lot. There are also a couple picnic tables. The fencing and cables help moms to stay calm while boys run around. However, there are more picturesque falls in the area in settings that remain natural.

We stopped off to see the falls on a sunny Feb day. Visiting the falls in the winter was really cool because parts were frozen and there was a lot of water flowing due to the snow melt. The falls are visible from the parking lot so easy stop even with small kids but there isn’t much else to do besides viewing the falls.

The falls are pretty. It’s a bit well hidden and is located within a Boy Scouts camp area. There is a very short and easy walk to the falls. No hiking required. Nice for a quick detour from the beaten path.

Went with our 6 and 3 year old sons. Super short walk to picnic area with great views of the Falls. We all enjoyed it and unlike some other nature spots in the area it was not crowded.

Growing up, Resica Falls was a beautiful place to go to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains. Nestled near the entrance of the Boy Scout camp, it's a lovely place to explore and enjoy.

Fun experience! Great getaway and a lovely place for a wonderful day adventure. This place offers nice views of the waterfalls. You can choose different levels of difficulty when it comes to hiking so there will be something to do for everyone.

The falls are just off the resica boyscout campground parking lot. Its an easy walk. There are several other falls to visit in the area so it makes for a nice stop for an exploring road trip.

Hidden just off the road at the Boy Scouts camp, is a excellent water fall. We were the only ones there. Park in the Boy Scouts parking lot, and its a short walk to see the falls. There is a big picnic area to sit and have lunch if you choose to do so.

We visited the falls on a recommendation from friends. Access is from the parking lot via the boy scout camp. It is only a short walk to view the falls, so pretty. There is no cost to visit the falls.

We planned to do more hiking, but the weather had other plans. Before going shopping one morning, we drove the extra 10 minutes to Resica Falls. Park at the Boy Scout camp and simply walk down the steps to the falls. The falls were flowing nicely due to the recent rains.

My family and I stopped here and was not disappointed. The falls are beautiful. The kids also got to see fish jumping in the falls which was cool.

This waterfall is on the property of a Boy Scout reservation, but they allow visitors to drive into the first parking lot of the property to see the falls for free. This would be a great stop for those who are not very active, because the falls are a very short walk from the parking lot. The only slight disappointment is that there is no way to hike down to the lower part of the falls - you're restricted to the top viewing area.

To be fully transparent, access to the falls was just not what I had expected. Don't get me wrong, the falls were very pretty but the access to them is completely underwhelming. I was expecting a nice fall hike down trails and through the woods to get to the falls. I was not expecting to get out of my car, cross the parking lot and be at the falls. It is GREAT for waterfall lovers who have mobility issues, and they really are pretty but I was expecting more.

The Falls are adjacent to the Boy Scout camp. They are a short walk from the parking lot. Picnic tables are close by. Falls were beautiful. A nice place for a family outing and picnic.

We stopped here on the way to Childs Park and Dingmans Falls. Very nice and just off the road. Worthwhile to check out if you are on a Delaware Water Gap waterfalls outing. No restrooms.

This is easy to find if you look for the Resica falls boys scount camp. The falls are very nice and easily accessible. No pets allowed. Picnic tables are on site. This is another no fee to view this fall.

Well hidden! We followed signs on the highway, ended up in a gated community. Person never heard of the Falls! Suggested we go back, turn right, check next to the HS! We did. Never saw a HS. Then there was a sign: Entering Resica Falls, a mile later another sign siad "Leaving Resica Falls" At the "entering" sign we had seen: Resica Falls Boy Scout Facility. We took the dirt, rutted road, Traveled about 1.5 miles. Never saw a facility and no sign of falls. No one could tell us where there were falls... just that there's a Boy Scout Camp. Then why is it a place to visit?

My husband and I were camped in the area of Resica Falls so took a drive over. We were very disappointed before getting out of the car to see a sign marked No Dogs Allowed.
We travel with 2 well behaved dogs that we keep on leashes and pick up after. Obviously we were not going to leave them in the car so I took a quick peek and a few pictures before leaving.
Disappointing after taking the 20 minute drive --- and not really sure why they wouldn't be allowed. I suppose those that don't pick up ruin it for all....

Find the tiny brown shed/hut near the parking lot. Take the path a few hundred feet to an area where there are numerous picnic tables with a view of the falls.
There are restrooms in the building behind the parking lot.
Look for the sculpture of the boy scout across from the building with the restrooms.

I used to attend Resica Falls every summer for 2 weeks when I was a kid in Boy Scouts. Always had a great time. Too many years later, I finally got a chance to come back when my own some went here for a COPE weekend. I was impressed with the changes that have been made in the intervening years. Glad to see they have start incorporating some of Great Bend into Big Springs.

This is a gorgeous falls and river. You can stand on the walking bridge and watch the trout jumping up the falls.

An excellent location to visit, summer or winter. the fall freeze over quite well during the colder months which lends itself to some excellent photo opportunities. In the spring and summer the water levels high, excellent opportunities once again. In the fall with the colors, second to none.

Nice and wonderful, but I'm sad that it's closed off to go out onto all the flat rocks away from the falls. I guess enough people ruined it for the rest of us and was a liability or some sort. I'd be all for signing a waiver. There seems to be some walking trails but those are closed off to the public as well. The beautiful falls were worth the trip though, so I was very happy to see that.

The Falls is very easy to get to, there is pleanty of parking. The Falls is on the right of the parking lot. It is very well maintained and visitors seem to not litter which is nicee to see. Great place to take pictures for couples.

If you enter near the Boy Scouts camp the falls are right there. We did get out and walk around some in the area. Rest rooms in the building across from the Falls are locked.

Easy walk, free and beautiful. This is a gorgious waterfall. Would lovento bag a lunch and hang here fornthe day. Cant wait to take the grandkids. Good visit then hit Ringing Rocks.

Nice and quiet area to see the falls and take a few pictures, maybe have a little picnic and enjoy the scenery.

Pretty view of the falls but the picnic area and viewing area could use some maintenance. Over growth of trees is making it hard to see. Looks like the path used to run down towards the middle of the creek. It was blocked when we got there. Pretty otherwise.

My husband and I were visiting various waterfalls in the Pocono mountain area this week. We tried to visit Resica Falls. The bridge on Tom’s Crossing Road was washed out and the road was closed about 2 miles before the site. We were not able to visit the falls.
Make sure you use a GPS to locate the site. It is fairly complicated to find. I gave it an average rating because it is hard to find--but, free of charge.

Such a nice waterfall very close to the road. Just a short drive outside of town. Turn at the Boy Scout camp and there is parking available on the right-hand side to view the falls. We have to admit this was one of the better waterfalls we saw in the Poconos.

Stopped by this waterfall while passing through today. We'd visited a bunch of other waterfalls in the area, but this was my favorite. It was early April when we saw it and the water was running really well. This is a beautiful waterfall, simply amazing. You can park just inside the boy scout camp. There is a cable guardrail that they ask you to stay inside but there are some cool rocks for the kids to climb around on. Don't miss it!

Great place to view Nature at its finest. Both my children 2 and 5 loved the falls. Parking isn't far from the falls and a short walk you are there. This time of the year there wasn't really anyone there. Can't wait to come back...

A nice little set of falls. Absolutely, beautiful in the fall. It is free entrance set on the Boy scout's land.

Located on the Boy Scout property, super easy access, pretty falls with amazing sound experience. Path gets a little rocky the further you go but clearly marked. Best part was that it’s TOTALLY FREE!! Worth the quick drive to get to it.

The falls are right next to the local Boy Scout Camp - google the camp and use that for directions. Do not follow the sign in town as the road dead-ends at a gated community.
The falls are rather short, but depending on when you go, could be wide with rocks breaking it up into smaller falls.

we were looking to hike, but the falls are right by the parking lot.
So it is a great place to go see. Quite beautiful.
There are picnic tables for the warmer weather.

Beautiful waterfalls, and not everyone knows about it. Wonderful place for families to visit, but a lot of stairs in parts if you have someone that's a little older and has mobility issues.

Ample parking, well maintained, free, worth the drive. Falls very beautiful.Pleasant drive on a hot summer day.

You can drive up and park right at the falls. It's located in the entrance to the Boy Scout Camp on Resica Falls Road. They allow visitors to drive in and park right in front of the falls only. It's a walk of about 50 feet to get to view the falls, not really wheelchair accessible.
This is a large waterfall on the Bushkill River. It's most impressive when there has been some rain. If you're going to take photographs, get there early in the morning or go on an overcast day. The sun starts shining on the waterfall fairly quickly.
The falls face about 100 degrees so it's a morning shoot, the sun's behind it in the afternoon. It's also very open so no tree coverage.
I visited late in the morning with a blaring sun. I shot it with a 10 stop ND filter to try to get something since I wasn't able to go back another time.

Easy to find going by gps. It’s right off the parking area. Viewing is just over the small footbridge. We did walk along the fence but the view is better in the beginning. Lots of weeds/small trees need trimming. Worth a short stop.

This is definitely a lesser known waterfall compared to the others around the area like dingmans and George child park but totally worth. Its free and not crowded. It is in the boy scouts camp but the parking lot and entrance to the falls is right at the entrance to the camp. For directions, type in the boy scouts camp and you won't miss it.

This little waterfall is located in a pleasant little park owned by the Boy Scouts, but open to the public. There are several parking spaces at the top of the waterfall, and you can walk along the waterway down three tiers which offer various views of the falls. You might see waterbirds or other animals there depending on the season. You cannot swim in the area, but you can enjoy the sun or sit in the shaded spots. All in all it's a nice little park only a few minutes outside Stroudsburg and it is is the gateway to other waterfalls in the area.

We knew it was small. The falls are literally 10 feet from parking lot. What you see is all there is.

Resica Falls is short drive from Club Wyndham Resort area and the Marshall Creek Shopping District Area. No admission fee on the enter the falls area. Walking is limited by the fence area, no hiking. If you have pets, they have to stay in your vehicle. It is a good place to visit and admire the beauty of nature again even for a short time.

We want for a ride and the day was so beautiful. We decide to go and find Resica Falls. We found it. Beautiful place to have a quiet peaceful lunch break or read book by the falls.

The parking lot for these falls was just inside the entrance of the Boy Scout camp on the right. The falls can be viewed along a designated area which is just a short walk along a path. We visited here twice, opting to return on a sunny day for photos. This is an easy to find, free to visit waterfall. Ideal for a quick stop.

Participated with a group of boy scout campers in February. The cabin could have been warmer, but good trade off was to cut wood for a bit and the cabin was then at no cost. the falls were great and many nice spots for pictures. Also the grounds are good for hiking.

NOW ITS NO NIAGRA but this place is amazing if you are in the are you should check this place out asap. its not far from town and there ar tons of side waterfalls on the way her make it a day trip

This is nice view of falls, that you can’t get close to, its all fenced off. The walk is easy to view the falls, and its approximately 25’ from the parking lot. So if you don’t want to hike, this is for you, we did see some very unique brown water fowl, possibly mergansers, they all looked the same. It’s free which is a plus, and you don’t have to travel far by foot to see it.

It is a nice little waterfall, but it is just a single fall, nicer in the winter as it starts to freeze.

Nice set of waterfalls located on property owned by the Boy Scouts. Well marked and accessible walkway leading to an area where you can easily see the main portion of the falls. We picked a day that was sunny, clear, and a bit breezy, which was perfect. Lovely place to stop off at while traveling in the Poconos

Nice stop along route 80. Falls are right next to parking lot. No hiking needed. Picnic tables nearby.

Resica Falls are fantastic. When there is a good amount of water rushing through the falls, even better. Very Cool. You can see the falls for free, no gimmicks, nothing to buy, just falls. But don't stray too far, thy are part of a Boy Scout Camp. As a Scout Leader, I have been here many, many times. Fishing is also permitted, catch and release and fly fishing ONLY. No it does not cost a cent but if you would like to make a donation to help keep the falls area in good repair, why not send a donation to the Cradle of Liberty Council BSA, who owns the property.

Some area waterfalls you have to pay for, this one is very cool, and free! Signs in the area lead you to the Falls. GPS, use the boy scout camp location. The falls are right inside the entrance of the boy scout camp. Signage states no pets, but we took our Lab and the two people we saw (adult Boy Scouts) didn't say anything to us. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful Scenery, take some great pictures. Hidden Gem. It is a Boy Scout Reservation. Has a hiking trail and picnic tables too.

This is off the beaten path, but worth the trip up. Being a little bit hard to find makes it less spoiled and makes for less people. You can go up there and mediate and enjoy the peace and solitude and beauty of it.

Great roadside waterfalls. This is my second time stopping here and my family loves it. The Poconos had a lot of rain this past month so the waterfalls were ripping. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Falls are very pretty - but small and limited to where you can go - as it is on boy scout property . Worth a look if your in the area.

Went on two different days and parking lot was blocked off - very disappointing. No signs indicating when/if it would reopen.

I was a Boy Scout councillor here in the early 1960s when the Resica Falls Boy Scout Reservation was just a few years old. There were two main campgrounds, a one week and a two week campground. I have many fond memories of those days. This is a beautiful area in which to park and picnic. Note that there are no dogs allowed.
Not Just Another Falls
This very nice location is just off of the highway. The falls are on a Boy Scout Camp property, however they allow the public to park and see the falls for free. Parking is on the North side of the bridge on Rt 402 just off the highway. They have picnic tables there also. Take your camera!
