We had a marvelous tour with Fernando. He was a wealth of fun and interesting tidbits about both the museum itself and especially the amazing cars. I wish we could have had twice as much time with him as I feel it was just the tip of the iceberg of his vast knowledge and commitment to the museum. A must see if you are in the area, but give yourself plenty of time to enjoy it. Again, hats off to Fernando.

If you love classic old sports cars do not miss this museum. It’s a huge and broad spectrum collection. The docents and tour guides are very knowledgeable and helpful. The cars are all fully restored and kept in running order and are displayed beautifully. Museum access is limited and you must make reservations in advance so plan ahead. A hidden gem in Naples

If you like cars or appreciate engineering and industrial marvels, the REVS institute is one of the finest automotive experiences I have had. The guided tour is the way to go. They have over 100 volunteers as tour guides and they do it because they love it. This is my second time through and it was every bit as enjoyable and entertaining as the first. I recommend you book early as it’s sells out about 3-4 weeks ahead in season. $35 per person for the most complete tour and it’s a bargain!!!

We appreciate the ability to get up close and peek into the cockpit of the unrestored race cars, not restricted by ropes.
And the plaques are easy to read, informative, and informal.
Thanks to Miles Collier and Revs staff!

A place for anyone over14 years old that would appreciate specialty sports cars in an over the top venue.

We visited in December 2018. We had a docent who provided a great tour and extra information during our tour. There is ample areas to sit and relax for your group to catch up.

Finally found a museum for the men!! I’m usually dragging my husband into art and history museums. This trip was for him and a mechanical friend of ours who hates museums.
Revs Institute is a museum dedicated to the preservation and restoration of magnificent sports cars and more. In fact, most of their vast collection of cars still run and are taken out once a year to be driven.
Rev’s docents knowledge base is unbelievable. I’m not particularly interested in the engine, but the history of the families and of the cars. I asked so many questions, but the men and lady who gave the tours were very patient.
My passion are the Porsches. We had a very intelligent tall young man, a volunteer university student, that was an encyclopedia of Porsche history, design, and more.
We actually spent 3 hours in the museum and I could have stayed longer.

The cars are something I've never seen before, and the shop was open. Perfect lighting and friendly employees! The cashier was very nice and funny.

We are glad we followed through with the recommendation to see this out of the way extraordinary museum of the history of racing. We have recommended it to others already.
Plan to spend 3-4 hours on your feet. Bring a water bottle to fill up at the water fountain.

We visited on a Tuesday morning and had no trouble getting tickets online the day before. If you have your heart set on seeing a particular car, check their website first. They'll tell you what is on display. I would also suggest getting their app. With it you can view videos of the car being driven and see a lot of photos of the interior. $5 off for vets. For lunch, I would head down to 5th Ave S and find a place there to it, you're only 10 minutes away and the experience will be better than the places close to the Institute.

This far exceeded my expectations. The collection is immense, well curated and probably worth the GDP of a small to medium size country. We had a docent led tour with Mark, assisted by Greg, and the level of knowledge was exemplary but equally delivered in an entertaining and educating manner. There are some genuinely unique cars in this collection but the historical narrative that sets them in the context of their time and their place really adds the value to this experience. The tour is in excess of two hours and covers all the vehicle galleries but at no point does the time drag or do you feel bored. One of the best visitor experiences we’ve had in Florida.

These are not cars...they are spectacular examples of engineering and craftsmanship..the pieces and the facility are maintained meticulously.....very nice, knowledgeable and helpful volunteer staff..I took some great pictures, but when you enter they ask that you do not use flash or publish any pictures, so they are not included....great stuff to see...if you like cars and the history you have to get there when it opens and stay until they close..there is a tremendous volume of information to absorb.....the facility is very well managed, not allowing more than a certain number of attendees on the days they are open

This museum is a private collection of one individual's cars. It has over 100 cars dating from the early 1900's to the 1990's Take the docent tour with Craig. He was a fantastic guide and a wealth of knowledge. It takes about 2 hours to tour the museum. Beautifully displayed on 3 different floors. The docent tours are limited to 10 people per group. Not recommended for children as you can not touch anything

Wonderful collection. Friendly staff. Good value. Thankfully our kids (2 and 4) behaved as it was hard for them resist the temptation of touching the cars. They were only upset that we couldn't stay longer.

My son and I have visited the Institute multiple times and have loved every visit. Most recently we took a class about the function of automotive engines and it was amazing. It was a four day class for 2 hours a day. We learned a great deal and the teaching was excellent! I cannot tell you how great the class was! We actually registered late and the staff bent over backwards to help us be able to take the class. Mike and Debbie in particular were awesome! Craig and Tom were great too! If you have any interest in the history of automotive technology development this is the place for you!

I LOVE this place! I was so happy when I learned about Rev’s online as I visit Naples a couple times a year. You need to book in advance and pick a time. Once you get there, it isn’t busy as they limit the number of visitors so you can actually get up close and personal. The docents are amazing & super knowledgeable, although I didn’t take a tour, they were around to answer any question you have! They have a great Porsche collection too. I could have spent all day in here!

Take a docent tour with the volunteers who were great and call ahead since it is open only a few days per week.

Don’t miss this hidden Naples gem. Largest collection of Porches outside of Germany. Many one of a kind and super rare specialty autos. Amazing hood ornament collection. And the building is beautiful. Go on a cloudy or rainy day. Anyone who loves cars will appreciate the Revs Institute.

Before visiting REVS, I had no idea it even existed. After hearing about it, we attended a tour with Jim Wood as our tour guide. We came away with two thoughts, Jim Wood is so knowledgeable and has a passion for the museum, the founding family, and the fantastic automobiles in the collection. I’m seventy-six years old, and this experience was one of the highlights of my life. The vehicles and displays are well done, with information about the display/vehicle posted eloquently at each one. Being from the midwest and wintering in Ft. Myers, I will certainly pass on the word about this fantastic facility and the exquisite automobile collection to family, friends and strangers. Thanks “Woody” for your enthusiasm, passion, and love for volunteering at the REVS and sharing your passion and expertise with us as well as all who you have entertained. Job extremely well done.

Amazing class i learned so much best decision u can make, take the class. Engines 101 is such an informative and useful class even if you dont want to be in the industry its amazing general knolage.

I can’t say enough things about this incredible institute. I have been going since 2016 and I am always amazed at the collection.
This past month I had the opportunity to enroll on an Engines 101 class and it surpassed my high expectative. Not only they are some of the best mechanics there are, they are also very patient and their explanations are always on point.
My instructor Ian made sure I understood everything he was teaching me even if he had to go over more than 3 times. I also had the pleasure on meeting Mike, Pedro and a few other people and they are some of the most hospitable people I have met. Coming to the Revs Institute is always an amazing experience. Naples is lucky to have such an incredible museum!
I look forward on continuing the classes!

We recently attended two classes at the Revs Institute.
In #101 we learned how the intake, combustion, power, and exhaust strokes operate. We learned how to perform a compression test; how to check, replace and adjust points on the distributor using a timing light; how to check, gap, and replace spark plugs; the operation and adjustment of the carburetor; and how to perform a tune-up using a detailed checklist.
In #102 we learned how to troubleshoot the four-cycle engine including: how to diagnose and correct problems in the compression, spark, fuel, and charging systems. We learned how to identify which system is causing the problem using diagnostic tools; how to identify the faulty component in the system; and how to remove, replace, and adjust the component.
I had limited automotive knowledge before taking the classes but and am now much more confident. My wife, who had no automotive knowledge, also attended and thoroughly enjoy them. Both classes were small, about 8 people each, including several other women. The teaching materials were excellent. All the students seemed to have a great time, and friendships were made. We felt the price for the value of the class was very reasonable.
The best part, by far, was the instructor, Mike Barbone. He has excellent knowledge and an outstanding presentation style. He made the classes fun!! I couldn’t recommend these Revs Institute classes more. I also recommend you tour the museum. They have a world-class collection of cars!

This place is almost a secret in Naples. Lots to see and learn. Docents are fabulous. Loved seeing the cars, all organized into groups. Attractive facility.

This is a wonderful collection of racing cars and racing history. The docents are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We spent about 3 hours touring the museum and enjoyed it very much.
Note: Tickets must be pre-purchased online and have a designated entry time on the half hour.

Great place to visit in Naples, Florida. Staff are friendly and informative. A special thank you to Bill.

The Revs Institute was amazing. Far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide , Frank was wonderful. He share so much knowledge of the cars and the related history. We will definitely go again to explore further.

Docents informative. Extensive collection of cars. Call ahead to reserve your time. Not crowded. All inside.

Outstanding experience! An impressive collection of automobiles but it’s the people that make it outstanding. We will go again the next time we’re close by.

This place will take your breath away with it multi tiered collection of fabulous autos. If you only visit one place in Naples this is the one you should go to. Give yourself A LOT of time to walk around and admire everything.

I took engines 101 and the teachers, Ian and Mike, taught at my pace and I learned a lot in just 4 days and I totally recommend them. My favorite thing we learned was about the spark plugs, distributer and the alternator.

I took four Revs Ed classes with my brother this month and we both absolutely loved it!! We definitely learned so much and now we are very confident to share what we learned and also apply it to working on cars!! We not only enjoyed the classes but we also really enjoyed all of our teachers Mr. Mike, Mr. Ian, Mr. Craig, and Mr. Bob, they not only had a lot of information about cars and how to work on them, but they also share so much to help us get out into the world and learn everything that we can to help us in our lives! They encouraged us to make the most of each of ourselves in this life we’re living!! One example was something Mr. Mike told me and the rest of the students in the class was that there’s only one you in this world, so go and make the most of yourself that you can!! That statement impacted me a lot!! These guys are super patient and super kind, and definitely care about each student in their classes and want the most for their students success!! My brother and I definitely learned a ton in only 4 weeks and we hope to return and learn a lot more in future classes! So believe me when I say these classes are definitely 100% worth checking out and taking!! I wish I could give more than five stars for this experience!!!

The most surprising thing about this fabulous museum is that it is so little known by our many acquaintances here in Naples! We went there recently on a visit arranged for the Friends of Artis Naples, and to say that it was an eye opener is a great understatement. There are over 100 vintage automobiles displayed beautifully and most all in running condition. Tours are led by docents, who are knowledgeable and entertaining. The museum is open to the public on a limited basis, so check the website. It's the leading attraction in Naples on Trip Advisor, and deservedly so.

Having guided tour is a must since guide tells you so many interesting facts that you would never know by just seeing the cars on display

My husband is a "car dude" these autos are one of a kind in many cases...multi million dollar collection of interest to all....truly a once in a lifetime experience. All of the people who work & volunteer their time in the museum are nice & learned. Go & Enjoy!

This museum is open to small numbers of guests on selected days, so book in advance. The staff are very knowledgeable and the exhibits astonishing in a purpose built museum. They claim the Porsche section is the best in the world, I don’t doubt it,

We have been coming to Naples for a few years now and always ran out of time to visit Revs
This time we managed to fit it into our schedule.
We were so pleased we did visit, the volunteers are a credit to this attraction. Plenty of information and the cars and the building is immaculate.
If you have any interest in cars this attraction will not disappoint.
Just to note, there is not a cafe for drinks, but reception sells bottled water.
Thank you for such an excellent time.

We so enjoyed this special Place. We have been several times. We encourage everyone we meet who new to Fl area to visit. It’s docents are entertaining and so knowledgeable. The quality of the vehicles there are a 5. The building is cool and laid out beautifully.

I'm not really into cars but I found my time at Revs to be just fascinating. The evolution of cars and the beauty of some of the early cars was just wonderful to enjoy. Highly recommend for audlts, not sure young people would fully appreciate the history.

I saw this on Trip Advisor while in Naples and was lucky enough to get a reservation for the self-guided tour, the docent tours were sold out. Recommended booking early for a docent tour.
There were many volunteers within the building to answer questions and talk about the cars on our self-guided tour and each car had a detailed stand providing history on the car. A great collection of Porsches too.
Hint: check out the cars in the volunteer lot too - some great cars there

Even golks that don’t love cars will admire the broad array of both historical and current cars. It’s amazing ....You have to make an appointment -you can’t just show up.
If you ever went to the Grand Prix at Watkins Glen, New York or the vintage car race there ...you must attend!

Been coming to Naples for years, finally booked a reservation to tour Miles Collier's Revs Institute. I knew the Briggs Cunningham story prior so enjoyed learning how those cars became part of collection. We toured with docent (Eric) who was excellent. So many rare/relevant cars, this two hour tour (you may stay longer) felt like 30 minutes. My wife is NOT a car person, but she enjoyed it as well. The location is tucked away in a business park adjacent to Naples Airport so use your GPS. TIP....download the APP and learn about the cars BEFORE touring. It's like knowing the music before attending a musical.....Bill from Chicago.

I'm not much of a car nut but this place is so cool. The collection is enormous and the stories behind the cars are so compelling that it's worth visiting, even if you're not a car buff. I went there a few months ago for a work retreat and had to return to show it to my dad when he came to visit. If you do go, definitely get the guided tour as opposed doing a self tour. The guides will give you all sort of insights into the history of the car and the people who owned it.

I highly recommend the Revs Insititute. My visit there was the highlight of my trip. It includes a beautiful collection of iconic cars, and the docent was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Plan on approximately 2.5-3 hours.

Revs was a last minute tour, it was amidst a torrential rain shower and turned out to be one of the most eye opening excursions we had during our visit. We will definitely return and loved the wealth of knowledge and information accumulated by the staff.
We made a rode trip that they across alligator alley to see a exotic car parade which got rained out but had a great experience at Revs !!
A meganormous amount of auto history and great atmosphere as soon as you walk thru the doors.
Tom Boggan

What a brilliant tour. This institute is a most do when in Naples. What a fantastic array of vehicles & brought to life by Ron, our tour guide. Even if you don't want a guide it is a great place to go as there is lots of info to read on each car.

My husband and I made a reservation to see the many cars that the museum had to show. It was a great experience. We were given a tour by a docent of the museum, and learned many interesting things about the beautiful antique and sports cars. I'm not a car enthusiast, but this was one of the best car museums I've been to.

Absolutely amazing place for car lovers. Over 100 cars in perfectly kept condition from the best eras over the past century.

An amazing experience for any age! Our private guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of these special cars. Revs was even better than expected!!

The Revs Institute was the highlight of my trip. As a car lover it was wonderful and the staff and volunteers are so very helpful. I recommend it highly.

This museum is the most beautiful collection of cars, each having a unique history and a guide to tell you the stories behind each one. We were very impressed with the knowledge of the volunteers and the vast display of gorgeous one of a kind automobiles. We definitely recommend all car enthusiasts and non enthusiasts to come and see this exhibit. Be sure to plan to stay for at least two hours. Although you can go as slow or fast as you want, you will want to take in as much as you can.

My husband and I absolutely loved it! he especially! We started out in the Porsche room and got some wonderful information and history on the cars from Tom and Larry, super nice guys and great information! Highly recommend, this it’s truly an experience

My wife surprised me with a solo ticket while on vacation with our family in Nov. ‘23. Being in the automotive trade for over 30 years, I’m an old school car/race car nut. I was only able to get through the upper floor (only because every car is so interesting and I have to read and look at everything 🧐) which is why it was a solo ticket 🤓. We came back Jan ‘24 and I spent a day with a tour guide. I can’t say enough about the volunteers. Very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. The cars are so well organized and lit up to enhance their beauty and detail. Every car there (except for one original 1880’s) are still maintained in house and are in drivable or race condition. They rotate cars regularly, some are out for maintenance/repairs/ borrowed from other museums or actually being raced at the most prestigious tracks all over the world. I’ll be back in Feb ‘24 for my 3rd visit. It’s labeled as a “museum” but it’s actually an “art exhibit”.

The largest collection of vintage cars I’ve ever seen under one roof. They also have an educational tour of the shop led by Michael Barbone that was awesome. I highly recommend you visit this rare find.

The Alfa Romeo and Maserati clubs visited here as a drive and dine trip. The museum has the largest Porsche collection this side of Stuttgart. It is well worth the time to visit.

My husband and I visited Revs because we love vintage cars and we drive a vintage Porsche for leisure, what an amazing place , our guide worked on a volunteer basic but you could tell he loved what he was doing as he made the tour so informative and interesting, you have to pre book but it is well worth a visit

Absolutely blown away by this place.
My wife and I booked the tour, and were taken around by Roc. He was excellent; very knowledgeable, clearly very enthusiastic about the amazing exhibits on display, and just the right level of technical insight so the lay-person could understand.
The exhibits themselves are outstanding as you would expect, and a car enthusiasts dream. All of the staff/docents were very friendly and more than happy to offer information/have a chat; I was in my element!
I cannot recommend this fantastic institute highly enough; if you’re in Naples you have to visit.

Giving this a 5 because of excellent presentation, display and highly knowledgeable staff who can literally talk to you for 40 minutes on the finer points of driving, engines, suspension, etc. Really isn't anything they've missed in terms of their chosen focus. My only but for is that there's a lot of space and dollars invested in race cars from the 60s-90s (Porschephiles go see), I'm more interested in automotive history and daily use thereof, so some of this was lost on me. If I do racers, it's more the early stuff, a la Simeone collection. But still they have both Le Monstre and the 'stock' Caddy from LeMans, and many other interesting daily things besides - it is a well spent visit / you will not regret having been.

Our docent tour of The Revs could not have been more enjoyable. Our tour guide, Craig, was enthusiastic in his presentation and knowledgeable about the importance of each of the cars on display.
The cars on display were organized chronologically and by their importance to the development of automotive technology and progress in the automotive industry. Craig often cited the sociological importance of both during our tour. Craig was obviously quite thorough in his preparation as evidenced by his ability to answer questions not directly related to his presentation.
The display of Porsche automobiles was impressive ranging from early developments to technologically advanced cars that participated in various racing events. My favorite displays were the cars that reflected the engineering, racing and dedication of Briggs Swift Cunningham. The breadth of his contributions to automotive history was most impressive.
I greatly enjoyed the visit to and tour of The Revs. I highly recommend it to any car enthusiastic and suggest that, should you visit, you request Craig as your tour guide.

We spend 4 hours my husband was in heaven. We highly recommend a visit . Ours was highly anticipated and it did not dissappoint.

Without a doubt the finest collection of race proven cars from all over the world. The docents are incrediblely knowledgeable. Dedicated to pristine restorations. Porsche’s abound.

My son took part in their teens Engine 101 and Engine 102 classes and absolutely loved it! Well put together, well run, and completely hands on. It was a great experience, and he learned so much. Will definitely continue to take classes here. Highly recommend.

The collection of cars is amazing for anyone, but especially those that follow Formula 1 racing. The breadth of time covered by the collection and the number of makers is impressive. All the cars are in tip top condition. Collection includes open wheel racers.
Note, it is important to purchase tickets in advance online. We did not know this and were able to get in because it was a slow afternoon, but especially with Covid limitations, this is important if you want to make sure to see the collection.

My husband always love stopping by car museums when we get a chance. This place was worth the trip. Plenty of cars to see, info cards on each car and helpful volunteers everywhere who can tell you more about the cars if you are interested.

I am not really a car person, but I was fascinated by so many aspects of this museum. The museum features an amazing collection of cars, engines, and memorabilia related to the history and development of cars. The space is well laid out and does a great job of highlighting each individual car and of presenting information in a well-organized manner, based on types of cars, historical development, car manufacturers, people who were pioneers in the industry, the challenges faced by those pioneers, and the role that cars have played in our cultures.
Equally important was the staff. From the front desk employees to the people who were abundantly present in the exhibit spaces, we were surrounded by helpful, knowledgable, cheerful people who were clearly committed to communicating their understanding of the contents of their exhibits. The overall desire of the museum staff to make connections with its visitors was astounding.
My immediate family and I have visited close family in Naples for many, many years and did not know of Revs until this year. Please don't make the mistake of missing out on this opportunity! When you are in Naples, dedicate 1-2 hours to visit this gem of a museum!

Attended the Express engine 101 with my two boys for Fatherday.Such an amazing experience. This class was very informative with pre 1980 engine. They used an air cooled VW engine which was a very good engine to learn on.We even got to set points and test the dwell. My two teenage boys want to go back.Since we are locals i can tell we will be back often.REVS IS A HIDDEN GEM..

We have now visited Revs twice in consecutive years, most recently today! The best way to do it is with a scheduled tour led by a docent. John was our guide today, a very knowledgeable and personable racing car enthusiast with a background in commercial design and a great eye for detail! Also, check out the excellent gift shop, which he designed! This place is the hidden gem in Naples!

115 cars 3 bicycles and very interesting artifacts. beautifully restored or original condition cars with carefully researched information about each one. incredibly knowledgeable docent volunteers scattered throughout the facility. recommend without any reservations at all. try and pick an earlier time so you can stay longer. I spent 3 hours and wished I had longer. they cover a historical span from 1869 to 1995 for a variety of automobiles. tickets must be reserved online before going.

We'd heard about this museum from friends--really? A car museum when we're in Naples for the good weather?? But this is SO MUCH MORE than a car museum! You will not see a more beautiful collection of extraordinary cars anywhere in the world! You do not need to be a "car" person to enjoy the history and the rare beauty of each of these exceptional models.

Loved the cars, loved the docents. Hate that one guy has so much wealth, but gee Miles.. thanks for letting us look at this stuff.

We loved our tour of the Revs Institute. We took lots of pictures and took our time, wandering through this beautiful collection from the Collier family. There were 100 cars from a wide variety. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and encouraged questions. It was a fun visit! You must call ahead to reserve a time. Highly recommend for the car enthusiast!

My husband and I spent 5 hours looking at all the cool cars. We did break for lunch though and came back. It was neat to see cars and their histories. Many still had the worn materials from their original days. A must see for sure.

After visiting I was i awe you can walk right up to the cars each having its own unique story. I was so impressed I became a station guide.

My husband and his friend had 11 a.m. reservations to see the exhibits. They were allowed in as soon as they arrived and spent 5.5 hours! They would have stayed longer but the place closes at 4 p.m. The exhibits were extremely impressive but even more so were the knowledgeable volunteers who were more than happy and prepared to talk about each and every car. On display are cars from the late 1800’s to present. The place is immaculate whether it be the display showrooms or the garage where restoration is done. Anyone who has any interest in cars at all should allow a whole day to learn everything about these amazing machines. 99% of these cars are used on the road or in races. It is suggested to go during the warmer months, it is less crowded so more attention is given to each visitor. The best $20 you will ever spend!

For the last few years I made it a point to bring all my French friends visiting Naples to view this automobile collection. Some of them are even coming back to go again to the Revs Institute. This is certainly the best automobile collection to be seen from the very early cars made (as a matter of fact the very first one made of wood) to the latest models. The staff is also wonderful and very knowledgable and I believe you do not have to be an automobile fanatic to enjoy this museum . it is one of the treasure to be seen in Naples Florida.

I took the Engine 101 teen course and was amazed and learned a lot! The Teacher (Mike Barbone) was relatable and made confusing concepts easier to understand. 100% reccomend this course for teens and adults!
*They do offer an adult course*

I took my boyfriend to the Revs Museum for a docent led tour for his birthday. I spoke with the receptionist a bit beforehand and asked if they could do anything special- and boy did they deliver. Such wonderfully nice and knowledgeable people. I love museums and I’m not even that interested in cars but I would definitely go back through the tour again. The history and stories Craig told us were fun and detailed. The experience was truly a great one. And at the end they allowed our group a viewing of the shop which was more than we could have asked for his birthday. Amazing place. Would definitely recommend it.

My wife, who is not a car nut, and I just made our first visit to Rev and I guarantee it will not be our last. My wife really enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. This place is full of magnificent automobiles that are significant and notable. We took the Dosen tour, which we would highly recommend for first, and second, time visitors. Make reservations well in advance. Note you will be on your feet for 2 hours but it is truly worth it.

This tour is a keeper to enjoy and re-enjoy over and over. Our grandsons enjoy the Revs, our visitors who come to Naples are always impressed.

If you are a car guy or gal - this is a collection to see. We did the self guided tour, but in hind-sight, we wish we had signed up for the docent lead tour. These are truly unique cars and all have historical significance. This is an amazing private collection.

One of the best automotive museums I’ve seen. Great displays, historically important cars and helpful docents. Take your time if u can to read the narratives with each car. They contain some great background on the vehicles. The museum has a wide range of cars and manufacturers dating to the late 1800’s.

Take the docent tour. So many of these cars have interesting histories that make them so special. On Saturday you may view the shop area. Saturday is the only day you can do so.

We had a tour with a docent (Roc) who was fantastic. He provided so much information about all the cars and their history. The whole place is just amazing and the staff is very passionate and proud of it.

if you are into cars, this is the place to be. The docents are very knowledgeable and obviously enjoy what they do. The cars are in impeccable condition. quite the collection.

Revs has been a wonderful place for my 14 year old son and his friends. They are currently in camp here and having the best time. The staff is professional, and the space is immaculate and safe. If you have preteens/teens don’t miss out on seeing this place! Anyone that loves antique cars would enjoy Revs Museum as well.

We had two sons attend the Revs institute this summer. They attended four classes. Mike barbone, Ian Thompson as well as Craig and Bob were absolutely incredible with our sons. They were Hands-On with them, took the time to teach young boys things that most don't take the time to stop and slow down and teach our younger generations. They were so welcoming. protective with the children when picking them up and dropping them off. Lots of educational insights. Can't wait for the future programs that they are going to be offering because my boys will hit every class! Totally worth it all. So thankful for the revs institute and what they are offering class wise for youth and those who are still kids at heart!

Went with the Pelican Bay Women,s League in Feb. outstanding over 100 antique cars. We had a docent tour who tod us a lot. I was scheduled to return Mar with 8 family Members. Will do next year .

This is a really cool museum. Loaded with works of auto art. Historically important and fully functioning vehicles. Cant wait to get back.

One of the best car collections in the states!
You need to book in advance, sells out quickly.
Knowledgeable and friendly guides at any turn, we learned so much about the cars. Great stories attached to each one.

You could spend hours going through and enjoying this collection. From as early as the 1800's; some I had never even heard of---volunteers are wonderful and have a wealth of knowledge---a must do for every car lover!

Revs Institute has an amazing collection of world class vintage cars. Each room of cars gets better and better. If you’re a car buff, you need to visit this place!

This a true hidden gem in Naples. Nestled back in among a heavily-treed business park, you will find the Rev. My husband planned this trip & I went along as an observer. He arranged having our tour be guided by a docent tour guide who had incredible knowledge of each part of the museum that he took us through. I had assumed that I might be rather bored w/this museum but I couldn’t have been more mistaken. It was a fantastic place filled w/the earliest cars built to the latest ones & everything in between. At each stop, our guide had the most interesting information to share w/his group. The way he told us stories about each segment we entered, made this tour interesting & wondering where we might be headed next!
If you are looking for something very different but extraordinarily interesting, try the Rev. You won’t be disappointed & may come away, as I did, knowing a lot more about the evolution of the car industry & the people that were part of it.
I highly recommend this Naples gem!! Great for all ages & you can tour the museum on your own, if you wish to do so.

If you’re a racing enthusiast and love Porsche, then “pack your lunch and camp out” at Rev’s Institute. I was in awe of their 550 Spyder, 356 Carrera, and 718 roadster racers. Just amazing pieces of history and some of the most beautifully handcrafted Porsche’s ever made...all sitting there for you to soak in.

An overall great experience and would recommend for anyone that loves cars. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and presented the material and the theory of trouble shooting and engine diagnosis. Classes are very interactive with lots of hands-on work and it is great working with others who are like minded and interested in learning about classic cars.

Throughout this tour we found volunteers in each section of the Institute who provided interesting details about the various vehicles. Reservations are recommended.

It is amazing the size of Revs, the amount of antique autos from all over the world! This was my husband's third trip and he found it just as interesting as he did on his first visit!

This was my first visit to Revs (in January 2019) but certainly won't be the last! I took a docent-led tour since it was my first time there. Can't wait to return next year. My favorites were the sports and racing cars from the 60's and 70's

This building and the displays are works of art themselves, and truly enhance the study of the cars. The autos are interesting in themselves, but also from a historical perspective or for just appreciating fine design and workmanship. By all means, schedule a docent tour if you can. Rick, our tour guide, was just a walking encyclopedia of information. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the collection come alive. He talked for two solid hours, and we just about jogged to keep up with him yet did not see every car in the collection. My husband and I spent another two hours exploring on our own. He was enthralled with the engineering information. I especially enjoyed the displays from a design and history point of view. Excellent value.

This was our first visit to Revs and we were a little disappointed because we were too late with our reservation. We should not have been because there are plenty of staff members around to engage with to ask questions and have dialog. The displays are somewhat unique in that you are allowed to go completely around each vehicle and look from any angle. In fact some of the staff even had flashlights to allow looking into the depths of some of the cars.

Revs is a hidden gem in Naples! The cars are amazing and the Docents know everything about the cars within.
I recommend every person who has any interest in cars to visit this place!

I just completed Engines 101 at RevsEd at the Revs Institute. The program provides an excellent hands on experience of the operation of an internal combustion engine. The class size is small with plenty of opportunities to have your questions answered. The faculty, Ian, Mike and Craig have vast knowledge and experience which they generously shared. I'm looking forward to taking more classes at Revs.
In addition to the education provided, Revs is an awesome facility dedicated to the preservation of historically significant automobiles. It's a must see if visiting Naples.

The first time I went to visit Rev's with our son and we did a self-guided tour. I found the selection of cars ranging from the 1920's through the 1970's so diverse and intriguing, and especially enjoyed seeing the large Porsche selection on site. I learned so much about the history of Collier County and even how the Colliers and Cunningham's brought road racing to America. Enjoyed seeing "first" cars like the first Ferrari. The second time I visited Rev's I did the docent tour. Mark Koestner did an amazing job as a docent and his knowledge and insight were so compelling. Thank you!

Revs Engines Class is a Must do! Hands on, ego-free, and fun learning environment. Revs provides each person a sample parts and tools. The class goes through the different systems individually and then on the last day integrates all the systems together to make the engine run smoothly. Craig & Mike were excellent teachers; they were genuinely interested in hearing students’ questions and finding analogies or drawings to make the systems more relatable and less abstract. A lot of thought and care went into this comprehensive curriculum. Very impressed by the collaborative nature of Revs Institute and its staff. Will be back. Highly recommend.

Went to visit the Revs Institute yesterday and had a great time. We had a guided tour by three members of the staff and it was well worth the cost and time.
Roc and the others were well-versed in the cars and their history.

I was recommended to visit this museum and what a great place, I'm not really a F1 buff but I can see how this would be perfect for those with an interest in the history of motor racing in all its forms. There are also magnificent historic touring and sports cars really well displayed and described. A must if you are in to historic cars.

If you enjoy automobiles and their history, the Revs Institute should be placed among the top places to visit while in Naples or Florida for that matter. The staff's passion for these automobiles shines through as they lead tours and answer questions with a degree of knowledge I've yet to find in any other facility of this type. Allocate a good portion of your day to stroll through this museum, there really is that much to see.

This museum is incredible. My son was so impressed with the amount of rare cars that they had on display. He is a car afficionado and he was thrilled that he visited there. Glad that they are getting so many visitors.

Absolutely world class facility with rare, original, historically significant cars from every era. A museum quality environment in which to view cars you will see nowhere else in the United States. A truly enjoyable experience for anyone with even the slightest interest in cars, automotive history, and automotive art.
The recent addition of onsite interactive automotive classes is phenomenal. I was very fortunate to secure a spot in the Automotive Engines class (tickets sell out quickly) led by Mike Barbone----an amazing experience. Enjoyable for the novice to the more advanced, Mike blends subject matter (the inner workings of engines), and real world application in a fun, educational experience. Who knew learning about the parts of an engine, and the relationships of the different components (electrical, mechanical, etc) could be so enjoyable? You will love this class.
If you are a visitor to the Naples area, you must visit the Revs Institute. If you are a local, take one of the classes. Revs is a Naples gem, do not miss it---but call for reservations, as I don't believe you can tour without a reservation. My highest recommendation.......

We went to REVS on a foggy day as the beach wasn't going to be too pleasant and had a fabulous day out, we took the docent guided tour which lasted 2 hrs plus but it felt like 1/2hr the man who did the tour knew his stuff. The cars were very interesting to see especially the mini - I am a Brit who had one the same colour - wish I still had it!

Not to be missed car collection, definitely take the guided tour, guides extremely good natured and knowledgeable. Great cars with amazing histories. The setting is great as well.

I went to Revs Institute because of reviews I saw here in TripAdvisor. I'm very glad I took the chance and set up my visit by making an appointment. You must buy your ticket in advance because they have a limit on how many people are admitted at once. The cars are all special to the industry in one way or another, and of course, are maintained that way. The docents are great because they really know the cars and can answer all your questions. You can spend as much time as you want there, and if you like cars, you'll be there for awhile!! The entire staff is friendly and professional!

If you are into cars, this place is a must... Even if you are not, it is probably with the trip for the artistic experience alone...
Revs is an interesting tour through early Porsche race cars, then off to early vintage cars, and a dalliance through British, Americana, and other significant manufacturers and race cars. The exhibits end in the 80's with an F1 car, and 1 McLaren F1 from the 90's... So it's not a comprehensive timeline, but there are several vehicles you will see nowhere else!
You need to book tickets online in advance, so don't just show up and hope to get in...

We were staying in Fort Lauderdale but decided to drive across to Naples for the day during out trip. I discovered the Revs Institute while doing research into what to see and thank goodness I did - it is an astonishing collection and well worth the trip to visit.
There are limited numbers of visitors, which is good, so you have to book in advance. On arrival you receive an introductory explanation of the history and development of this historic collection and the research institute and advice on the best route to take to visit the exhibits.
The start is at a relatively small, but fascinating display of car mascots, which were fascinating and many of which I have never seen before.
The focus of the main displays are on the technological development of motor vehicles, with many iconic and unique cars here, maintained in excellent condition, which naturally links into motor racing which is where many technological advances have occured,
There was also a special exhibition of posters and other memorabilia from the Joel E Finn Collection, which included a poster for a Grand Prix in Cuba, something that would be hard to think of today.
All in all, a great and surprising place to visit and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the technology, design and history of the motor car. Is there more to come with the development of self-driving electric cars?

Revs Institute Engines 101. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you push the starter button or turn the ignition key on your car, this class is for you. In four two-hour sessions, I learned how an internal combustion engine is built and functions; met some interesting people; and had fun in class every day. The instructors, Mike and Craig, were not only extremely knowledgeable, but also patient and had a sense of humor. The curriculum was well-designed and included written handouts, videos, and actual engines/components. I will definitely enroll in Engines 102, which focuses on diagnostics, the next time I am in Naples.

An absolute must see if you can see it. One of the most extensive and beautiful collections of cars. I have been here several times over the years and it never ceases to amaze me. I am not sure now but the hours were a little weird, almost appointment only at one point but if you can make it in by all means take advantage of the opportunity.

So many beautiful historic cars that weave the story of the automobile industry throughout the last century. Well worth the time to walk through all three levels. The docents were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience for the youngest car enthusiast to the oldest.

I recently took Electrical 101 at RevsEd. It was an eight hour class broken up into 4 sessions. I had some basic knowledge before it started but the class really boosted my skill set. I am in a much better position now to diagnose issues with my classic car and the instructors really made the learning process fun. I'm already looking for the next class to take!

This was a great way to spend a couple hours for just my husband and I, without the kids while on vacation in Naples.

We did a docent led tour of this beautiful facility. our tour guide, Eric was so knowledgeable and interesting. I’m so glad we took the guided tour because we learned so much more than if we had just read the signage. Over 100 cars, it has multiple galleries and two levels. Great afternoon of learning interesting facts about the history of cars and racing.

I took a 4 day course called “Simple Auto Maintenance”. As a complete novice to automobiles, I wanted to have some formalized training to be able to converse more confidently with my husband and share more in his passion for fine cars. The class was OUTSTANDING! The instructors were excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, articulate and patient. They knew how to read their audience, understanding who was brand new to auto concepts, and who was more experienced, and they were then able to personalize training for each of us in the class. I especially appreciated the customization and personalized approach they took in their training course. They thought of everything! The hands-on work was very helpful. They took us on a tour of the REVS shop which was incredible! In a nutshell, I rate the whole course experience an A+!!! I can’t wait to take another course again soon, and so very glad I chose this course as my birthday gift!! :)

Ok. So I worked with Toyota for many years and love cars. But the rest of my family in attendance (wife, brother-in-law) were similarly fascinated with Revs. The cars are not just transport; many are pieces of art. The docents really know their stuff and what starts as a gallery of great cars turns into an amazing history lesson. Spending half a day indoors in Naples may not be high on anyone's agenda. But spending the time at Revs should be an absolute top item on your to-do list.

We really enjoyed the experience and exhilarating history of these vehicles! Volunteers are readily available to help answer questions and share background stories for those of us who are among the car uninitiated. As one of those visitors, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the couple hours we spent viewing the collections and listening to the docents.
Spaces are wide, ADA accessible, clean and fresh here. Parking is free. There is an admission price however.

Excellent quality cats, many one of a kind!
You can walk around any car, do not touch, no cords to block from checking out the beauties on display. One of the best car museum I have ever visit.

Incredible collection of antiue racing cars in an amazing facility. More than $500 million worth of cars. A hidden gem in Naples.

I really enjoyed taking the Simple Auto Maintenance class. The instructors, Mike and Ian, were knowledgeable, engaging, and brought a great sense of humor to the sessions. They actively encouraged participation, helping us build the confidence to handle basic car maintenance ourselves or to communicate more effectively when seeking professional service. Their instruction gave us practical tools and valuable knowledge to make informed decisions about our vehicles.

This is our second visit to the REVS and if I could give it 10 stars I would. Well worth the visit and when you do visit be sure to take one of the tours. Our docent led tour was about 2.5 hours and did not cover every one of the 150+ cars in the collection. However you have the opportunity to spend as much time as you want to wander through the exhibits to see the cars not covered during the tour. We recommend the morning tour so you have plenty of time to tour the exhibits afterwards at your own pace. The docent was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. A true gem in Naples. The exhibits are outstanding!

Book ahead and I recommend getting a guide. Even if you’re not into cars this is a very cool place and you’ll learn a lot.

Rock was a fantastic tour guide. His knowledge was endless and our two kids had a wonderful time and listened for the full two hours! Definitely get a private tour and see the workshop too. Thank you so much!

I normally don’t learn very well but when I was taking this class it didn’t feel like a class it felt like I was learning something useful and something that I’m actually gonna use in life

The owner of this places really untold race cars. Is not really anything new here the newest cars probably 1995 but there's only one of them the rest of them are sixties and the earlier. Very nice cars though in very nice presentation in layout of the museum. You must purchase your tickets online beforehand.

Revs Institute has a wonderful automotive class for teens who wish to know about how engines work. No matter how knowledgeable you may be, this class can teach you new things and give an amazing hands on experience. Our instructor, Michael Barbone does a great job going in detail on what each part does and how its important. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend attending the class as well as taking a look at their museum filled with cars you've never seen before.

Our guide Steve Gratton was most knowledgeable and explained details in an easy to follow flow. I never felt overloaded with information or bored. We loved seeing all the cars, learning the backstories, and comparing models.

Had an amazing 3 hours with my son .. the most amazing collection of cars anywhere on this planet … the hosts are all so knowledgeable and make the whole experience a memorable one … its a must see museum !!

Whether you're a gear head, motor head or just appreciate beautiful things the Revs Institute is a gem of a place. Hidden away in Naples Florida it's collection of antique and sports cars tell the history of the automobile in every day as well as in racing. The cars are absolutely beautiful and the docents know their stuff, are friendly and happy to answer all your questions. A perfect way to spend an afternoon away from the sun. Call ahead for tickets.

Revs Institute was absolutely fantastic. As a car buff I was looking for something to do that was car related. Someone recommended Revs and it far exceeded my expectations. Much respect for Mr Collier for his dedication to motorsports with this amazing display of automotive history. Kudos to the fantastic volunteers who are a wealth of information and extremely helpful. Enjoyed every minute of the three hours I spent there!

OK. So you have to purchase tickets online in advance (limited availability - keeps the number of us wandering around at a reasonable number). CHECK! And if you want a tour of the Workshop (who wouldn't want a peek behind the curtain - and it"s IMMACULATE!) there are limited times (I suppose so the employees can actually make noise and work on the cars!). But I learned if you ask nicely you can probably arrive early and wander around marveling at the cars. I walked in and right off I see one of my personal FAVORITE cars - a McLaren F1! And BEST of all - with no barriers around the cars you can really see inside, peek underneath, stand and stare at suspensions and such until it all sinks in. And the chronological layout in some areas means you can easily see the evolution of suspensions, brakes, cockpits, etc. until your heart is content. If you are in South Florida and LOVE cars - this INCREDIBLE Museum is a MUST SEE! Thank-you to the Collier family all the staff!

An amazing collection of fabulous cars. Tour guides are very expert. Most of the cars are in perfect condition but then there are some that they felt were important to leave in deteriorating condition.

This is a fabulous car museum. Even if you have no interest in cars, this will blow you away. My wife wouldn’t know a Ford from a Ferrari, but she loved it. The automobiles in here are priceless. The value of this collection is unfathomable. Each car has great provenance. It tells the history of the automobile in a way closely connected with racing. A majority of the vehicles were involved in racing in some way. We took the tour which last two hours. But you could easily spend the entire day. You can visit without taking the tour and there are many volunteers to answer any question you have about a particular car. You must make reservations for admittance in advance, which I imagine in the winter season needs to be well in advance. Don’t miss this. There is a reason it is rated #1 attraction in Naples.

Fantastic museum, amazing collection, really knowledgable tour guides (docents). Second visit and still learning a lot.

Went with a friend. There is a beautiful collection here. The docents were very informative. I can't wait to bring my husband here.

My husband and I have visited the museum and it is world class. The collection is amazing and the docent really know and love their "jobs". We recently took an 8 hr class there, Automotive Engines 101, and it was excellent. We learned a lot about the basics of engines and now the various systems relate to each other. Great teacher, he made it fun. Highly recommend.

This is basically the private collection of two families who were well-known in the Grand Prix/Le Mans circuit. The collection on display is heavily focused on those race cars, with an section of Porches. Almost as an after-thought, there is a small collection at the end of the tour of notable non-race cars. I paid for the 2-hour guided tour, which was worth it since we stopped at nearly every car to hear a brief summary of it and why it was important.

The Miles Collier collection was carefully chosen to reflect each car’s historical significance and preserved rather than restored. I’m very grateful they do a tour because I learned so much more than I would have walking around and looking at meticulously maintained cars. Roc was our very knowledgeable docent. We’re not talking about someone who memorized a script, this is a retiree from the industry who knows everything about cars. I learned a lot about car racing and the thought process of how the designers evolved their designs. The tour lasted around 2.5 hours which was truly a tremendous amount of information. That does not count the time needed to go back through and take pictures and read the technical descriptions of the cars. There are also knowledgeable volunteers in each of the rooms after the tour ready to answer any questions. Then when you get home you can watch the Revs Institute Youtube videos.
The building itself is really nice. The cars are spaced well, and the décor is modern and lends well to picture taking. There are no ropes so you can really see and appreciate these beauties.
There isn’t a café in the vicinity, but you are encouraged to leave for lunch and come back to look some more.
This is a one-of-a-kind museum and must-do in Naples in my opinion.

I took the Engines 101 course with a group with varying automotive knowledge-beginner to experienced. Course was excellent. All seemed to learn. A-V and hands on was excellent. I plan on taking additional courses. We work in the garage where the exotic cars of the collection are maintained.

What an amazing place to visit! So many cars to see! There were volunteer docents in every room who knew so much about the cars. They had such interesting stories and facts to share! All 4 of us enjoyed our time there.

If you enjoy cars, this is a “ must see”. Over 100 cars dating from late 1800’s with many classic cars from the early to mid 20th century, all immaculately restored. There is another section with numerous Porches, street and racing plus formula 1 and Indy cars. Allow 2-3 hours

A truly magnificent collection of cars. A stunning collection of porsche race cars and many historic automobiles from the very beginning of the automobile age to almost present day.

Wonderful display of classic cars. Tours offer a great historical perspective developments in the automotive history and the development of racing. Recommendation: book a tour at the site.

The tour was my favorite experience. Tom and Keith were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They knew everything about the cars, would tell anecdotes about them, speak to their importance and make them come alive. The 112 cars in display are a wonderful tour de force of the late 19th and early 20th century automotive industry. It is #1 - totally worth the trip and #2 - totally worth it to get the docent tour.

Never even knew it existed until i checked tripadvisor for things to do, while visiting my Dad in Naples. Found REV's and i knew hubby would enjoy. Turns out my Dad's already been there three times. It is so very well kept, and if you have an interest in cars you will see some of the best. You must make a reservation and they do sell out. They do limit how many people are there at a time. We found some of the guides did not really have the knowledge they should have though. ie. I was told David Hobb's passed away last year (he did not).

REVS Ed class on brakes tops the charts! Instructor Creig L is engaging, fun, enthusiastic and committed to ensuring the ‘learner learns, what the instructor taught.’ I feel the classroom setting with many surrounding projects underway, and the helpfulness of all the talented people working there, reflect REVS total commitment to excellence. Bill C

If you even remotely like cars this is an absolute must see. It's easily one of the top three auto museums in the country. The place is perfectly organized and presented. The staff is super passionate about the cars and really know the history of every auto. The only accident you can have there is not visiting!

The whole experience was great ! We love the docent tour it was very instructive and ours guides were awesome !! My kids were impressed with all the beautiful cars !!

A fine collection of multiple types of cars.
A beautiful building for displaying this collection!
Great stories to read with each display or you can reserve a docent tour.
Strongly recommend.

My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Revs. Bear in mind you have to reserve in advance, which works out nicely as you are never overwhelmed by too many people trying to get to too few cars. Unlike almost all of the MANY other car museums we have been to, these cars have some space between them, and no stancions keeping you away. They trust you not to touch the vehicles or rub your hand on the seats. Quite a varied collection from the very early decades of motoring up to very recent models. A great collection of Porsches, many other Euro and domestic US marques are represented. We were there about 2 and 1/2 hours, but you could easily spend 3 to 4 hours if you have the time. They have no snack bar but you can leave and come back on your daily ticket.

Automotive Engines 101 ~ I just completed this course and had the most fabulous experience!! It's the perfect way to learn how an automotive engine works with great course material, slides and plenty of hands on training. Best of all, Instructor Mike was phenomenal as he created a lively, top notch, fun and memorable educational experience. I'm already looking forward to another session! This is an eight hour commitment held in the pristine auto garage of the Revs Institute. It is a truly unique opportunity to engage in yourself, with a friend or give as a gift. Enjoy!!

Revs Ed is absolutely fantastic. This is my third class and it was the best ever. V8 Engine Rebuild. Craig , Bob, and Mike were fantastic. These are must take classes for male or female if nothing more than get some basic education on your automobile. What a laboratory to learn.

Repair class for the beginner. Mike Barbone is a great and patient teacher. His knowledge is amazing. We had a wonderful experience and I think I really can gap my own sparkplugs! We are coming back for the next series engine repair 102.

This is a great car museum. Terrific volunteer staff. Cars are carefully curated and amazing. Great stories tied to each one.

I’ve been to many of the best auto museums, concours and classic motoring events around the world. This collection is easily the equal to any of them! The uncordoned open nature of the display combined with the very knowledgeable volunteers makes this literal the best way to appreciate any car collection. They engage you conversationally and provide just the level of explanation to match your level of interest. It’s like a personalized tour on demand. Excellent. The cars themselves are nearly all the most interesting, rare or significant variants of each model.

Tremendous collection, so much history. The volunteers have such knowledge. If you can see Ford v ferarri first it has a lot of the cars in the movie.

I just completed the three week V8 Engine rebuild at Revs Ed. Very hands on with excellent instruction. There were four students and two instructors allowing all of us to complete the work. It has greatly assisted me in understanding more of engine operation. The highlight of the course was the successful engine restart. For car buffs, I would highly recommend.

Towards the end of a replica kit car build, I had come to the conclusion that I was going to need to go back to school to get an auto mechanic certificate. Not because I wanted to go back to work in that fashion but because I was having engine problems with the kit car build and that was my solution to learning how to fix it. About the same time, my husband and I visited Naples and the Revs Institute and in doing so, stumbled upon the engine classes they offer, Engine 101 and Engine 102. These classes were exactly what I needed. Prior to the classes, I knew I had an engine problem but I had no idea how to diagnosis, troubleshoot or fix it. After spending 16 hours (8 hours for each class) with Craig and Mike, I’m walking away with knowledge, troubleshooting tools, confidence, and an entirely new network of resources and friends who love cars and love helping others know more about cars. Everyone in the workshop that I had the pleasure to interact with (I usually tried to walk as slooooow as possible through the workshop on my way in and out of class and chat with restoration technicians as I went) genuinely loves cars and genuinely loves helping others learn about fixing cars. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and I can’t wait to get home and fix my engine!

What a great excursion foe car enthusiasts ! We had a great time a s an amazing docent- Mark!!! Would go again in a heartbeat!

Ideal for car fans from the casual fan to the real gearheads.
Docents and guides are outstanding and share their passion for the beautiful cars in their care.
Great value for money, start with a docent tour then walk around after to the cars they did not cover.

This is one the best car museums that there is. There are no ropes so you can get close as you want without touching the car.

Absolutely amazing museum, unique in the world. I don't even like cars that much and I really enjoyed it. The staff out on the floor bring some of the stories to life but have managed to get the right balance between lettingyou enjoy the cars by yourself and telling you interesting facts. The musuem is different, funky and full of interesting cars and stories. The timed entrance makes sure you see all the cars in relative quiet and space. There really doesn't feel like there are alot of other people in there with you. If you were wondering whether to go or not even if you aren't into cars the answer is yes, yes yes.

This is a must go to. Number one auto library. Not to mention the cars. Another note: the classes taught at Revs are absolutely fantastic. The instructors are number one. But by far the best part of the class, you get to go through the back room, the heart of the museum. A true blessing if you like automobiles.

We visited the REVS auto museum today with friends. An extraordinary collection of automobiles, several of which are well-known. We spent two hours, and could easily have spent two more. The staff were welcoming and informative, especially Gary, who spent a long time with us.

Great experience. The mueum is incredible. The basic course provided should be required of all school students whether they intend to be a pysicia, diplomat or mechanic!!!!!!

Had a great visit to Revs and a fantastic guided tour with John. I have been to many automobil museums in USA and Europe and this is defenitely one of the best. To get so close to the cars is unusual and all cars in perfect condition. Would have wanted to spend more time there but closing was just after the tour ended. Will have to go back!

REVS Institute is a great and incredible museum. For people who love cars, this place is a must visit
I was thrilled to see all the cars on display, and in one place. It has the second largest collection of Porsches outside of Stuttgart, Germany.
Took a tour with our docent Gary. He was extremely informative and his encyclopedic knowledge of your vintage cars was second to none. Really enjoyed a quick glimpse of the shop and it really shows the attention to detail of how the classic automobiles are maintained.
In conclusion, Revs Institute contains some of the rarest and most important cars ever built. and they all run and are driven on a regular basis.
Their diverse collection is a must see for both the young and old, classics or muscle car lover. Highly recommend a visit here.
Craig Buechler

We had the best dossamt led tour with Buc and Bud. I would highly recommend using the dossant tour. They brought each racing car to life with special stories. The 2 hour tour just flew by. I will tell all my friends to go to Revs. It is a hidden jewel in Naples.

Best night worth every penny jacen and Myles are the best host learnt so much and had a great time!! Xx

This is a great place for the guy who loves admiring classic cars. My husband absolutely loved this museum which featured 110 cars. The oldest car was from 1896, and they had a huge collection of race cars. They have volunteers available to explain the history behind each classic car and answer your questions, so there is no need to book a private tour. They are open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $17.00 without the private tour. It is worth the money if you are really into cars!

Whether or not you are obsessed with cars, you will love this institute. Keep in mind it is open by appointment and you must have a reservation. Be sure and sign up for a docent tour. The scope of the collection is wide and wonderful

Revs Institute offers weekly courses on Auto Engines. The Course itself, as well
as the outline, are designed and given by Mike Barbone who does a simply
amazing job of relegating engine mysteries to very simple descriptions

Wow, what a great collection. If you’re a Motor Head you must visit this place. My son booked a guided tour, it was amazing, John, our tour guide, did an outstanding job. This is one of the best collections of really rare vehicles that I have seen. The shop is every mechanics dream. I would advise, this won’t be interesting for most young children and a few wives. The guided tour was 2 1/2 hours, it wasn’t enough time. You’ll want to do a walk through on your own after. Book your tickets before you go, they limit visitors daily.

Revs contain vintage automobles for viewing.... highly skilled volunteers oversee the facility and are able to answer questions with respect to each vehicle. One of the few activities in Naples that is extremely interesting

If you love old cars and you love racing cars, you must see this museum if you go to Naples, FL! Some are so old they have cranks on the front! I don't know that all are race cars. There are Alfa Romeos, Porsches (a whole room full), Ferraris, Maseratis and many more. There was at least one Stutz Bearcat. I had a marvelous time. There is too much to tell. (I was unable to answer some of the questions, because I was with adults and we purchased the tickets ahead of time.)

My father in law and I just visited and joined a docent led tour with Fernando and Rich. These guys know their stuff. It was a great tour; a beautiful collection of vehicles spanning over a century of automotive engineering and innovation. Our guides had a wealth of knowledge along with interesting anecdotes and fun obscure facts about various vehicles and drivers. It was very enjoyable.
Buy your tickets online in advance.

Rev is the perfect place to go if you want to learn about automobile racing history in the United States from perspective of the Collier Collection.

A great place to visit but why is it such a secret? I never would’ve found it if my friends didn’t mention it.
If you are a classic car fan you’re going to absolutely love it. they go way back to the horseless carriage, por he, Ferrari, racing cars. They’re all special and beautiful. Volunteers are available to help answer questions.

Amazing collection of older cars but something for everyone. Great history lesson that ties the Collier family to Watkins Glen in NY. Extensive collection of racing Porches and other cars. This was our 2nd visit and will be going back again.

Our tour guide but very knowledgeable and also maybe a little over opinionated. After our official tour we took a lunch break and went back to re-visit our favorite exhibits. I am looking forward to a return trip soon

This "museum" is a hidden gem in Naples. For anyone who loves cars and the history or cars it is a must. I brought my father when he was visiting and he loved it. I would definitely recommend using the docents offered by the institute. There is a slight cost increase for this, however you will happy you did it. They are so full of information about the cars on hand and the history it is so worth the money. I have been to Revs with and without the docents and it is definitely worth it. Make sure you call in advance and schedule accordingly if you are visiting the area. They are not open everyday and the docents may not be available all the time.

Beautifully curated, everything is so well kept, laid out and explained
An eclectic collection, but every innovation in motoring in over one hundred years is reprinted here.
The cars are in superb condition, some are so beautiful that you just want keep looking at them. Each is driven once per year so thesis not a museum of dead objects, it is a collection of dynamic and interesting pieces.
Highly knowledgeable and friendly guides, they know each car's history, its social history meaning interesting people who owned them, its engineering history and innovations and much more, whatever you ask, they are up for it. The film they show at the start is a good way of getting into it all.
The ambience is superb too, spotlessly clean the workshop is like an operating theatre, not a garage, elevators to get the upper floors for those who can't do stairs. It is all very well thought out.
The groups sizes are such that you cannot see anything or ask questions. Indeed, it is all very efficiently planned as an experience and well executed.
It has to be one of the best museums of its type anywhere and an successful diversion from the usual Naples interests.

Went with 8 friends and really enjoyed the visit. If you love old cars, especially vintage race cars, then a must see. Note however, they limit per diem visitors so make a reservation.

Fascinating, modern museum housing vintage vehicles, especially racing cars. Interpreters abound, ready to add extra historical and technical information,

We had a fabulous time at this gem of a museum: not to be missed. I am not a car person but even I absolutely loved it. Great variety of around 200 automobiles from an early Model T to the car that Mr. Ferrari drove to winners of famous races, including Le Mans and Indy 500. There is an entire Porsche section. Lots of really thoughtful, well-informed docents are around to answer questions and give you even more information. (Although the display labeling is full of all kinds of trivia, too.) There is a timed entry to keep the crowds minimal and this was a great system.

I took my 13 year old son and we both thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend taking an early docent tour, go to lunch, and then come back to take some pictures and look a little at your own pace. There was so much info given on the tour, our heads were spinning and our legs were tired. The break helped a ton to go back and really appreciate what we had seen. We also chose to not take pictures during the tour, which really helped us focus on the docent. We got tons of pictures after lunch on our own pace.
We love cars, but are more into 60's muscle and modern performance cars, so I was a little hesitant at first since most of the collection is pre 1950s. But, once there and after taking the docent tour, we fell in love with the beauty and history of the older classics.
The tour was a little over 2 hours and then we spent about two hours after lunch going around at our own pace looking again and taking pictures. If you don't do the docent tour, there are several workers in each gallery that know tons about each car and are more than willing to help answer any questions you may have.
I feel honored to have been able to see this collection.

Amazing car collection. And I’m not a car person. Wife enjoyed it as well. The interesting thing was the history of the family/guy whose collection it is. I think tying that story in with the cars resonates even more with people like us. Well done and top notch. All the docents gave context that made it even better! Thanks

Wonderful private collection. This is really worth seeing. Not a huge collection but some very unique cars in a wonderful environment.

A must see museum. Even if autos are not your focus the artistry of the cars and history is amazing. This is an inspirational experience.

This is a priceless collection of cars set out in an interesting way . There are many enthusiastic staff willing to tell you what they know, this can be a little intrusive at times.

We visited a the Revs Institute and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the amazing cars. What a collection ! Very Interesting to see so many collectible cars in gorgeous condition. Fun place for guys and gals.

We did the Engines 101 camp, and the experience was fantastic. The instructors are not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled but are also extremely patient and great teachers. The museum has many amazing cars from all eras and does a great job of documenting the history of the automobile, and the docents are quite knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

I always have a good time at the Revs Institute. The Collection of Cars is Perfect. I, my family, etc have been to the Revs Institute several times.

Even after 3.5 hours I had to drag my engineering husband out of the museum to make our flight home. Enough said. The cars were indeed works of art and the docents were incredible.

Was able to take a docent lead tour (I highly recommend this type tour) that lasted almost three hours. The docent was awesome, his depth of knowledge was superior and he was full of antidotal stories about many of the cars were entertaining. If you’re a car enthusiast, this museum is an absolute must visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rev’s. Exceeded our expectations; we learned a lot about the cars, the races and the people who made/drove/owned them. The guides in each exhibit really added to the experience with their humor and enthusiasm. Highly recommend.

Just had a private tour of this place. Wow! Craig Black did a fantastic job. His knowledge was amazing, but it was his energetic attitude that put it over top! This is a must see if you are in the Naples area, even if you are not a car guy. Ask about how they restore. The cars!

Had a great time on tuesday 11/16/21. John gave us a great tour through all this incredible collection. We also saw the workshop and the library/archive. It's a must see if you are into cars. The staff is friendly, and the place is never crowded because you must book your tickets in advance. I will visit it again.
Cheers from Argentina.

Good day
An excellent place to visit. Large collection with some true legendary exemplars exhibited.
Will come back many times
Thanks a lot for every volunteer who explains in details story of each car.
Kind regards

Definitely 5 out of 5!
My tour guide was Ken Bouck (a volunteer there)
Ken is a friend and coworker of mine that invited me to this amazing display.
I was in awe over the vehicles, but what capped it off was the fact that Ken Bouck knew every aspect of every vehicle there.
After I got home, I had to text him this…
Dude!
1st off I apologize! I was literally speechless! (Not for the shop exposure but for the car history!)
2nd is that I Thank you so very much for that tour. I felt like I was getting a private specialized tour and education in the history of all shown.
3rd is the fact that you know ALL the history of these vehicles is AMAZING! I hope that the Revs Institute realizes what an asset you are.
Once again thank you so much! I TOTALLY enjoyed it.
With all that said, if you want a Great Historic Automotive Experience, then you need to visit!

First visit went with my grandchildren (8 &6 ) , we all had a great time. This is an outstanding collection of cars and I highly recommend a visit . Must book your tickets on line for day and time slot .

Even for people not interested in cars, this is a truly worthwhile experience. You can learn so much. The docents are amazing.

Ranked by the New York Times among the top few auto collections in the world, REVS exhibits over 100 cars. This is not an overwhelming number, but the vast majority of those (probably well north of 90%) have special provenance. For example, one of the six (or seven?) early Corvette Grand Sports and two early Ford GTs (a Mk.I and a Mk.IIb) are there. Unlike many auto museums which are more like "auto morgues", these cars are regularly exercised (even the plentiful number of historic racing cars). An absolute must-visit, but reservations are mandatory. Book on line (only) as no walk-ins are permitted. Spend the extra few bux for a guided tour to get the most enjoyable experience.

Just graduated Engines 101. Fantastic 8 hour course. Lots of fun and lots to learn. Thanks to Instructors Mike & Craig. They make it fun. Highly recommend RevsEd. I’ll be taking more courses.
A visit to Revs is a must for any car enthusiast. It’s more than museum. Learn about how cars have allowed humanity to advance.

Our friends who live in st petes found Revs on trip advisor and booked our tickets as a treat while we were on vacation from
The uk.
The cars were fabulous and the volunteers super friendly and knowledgeable -apart from not knowing that Porsche began its life making tractors !
Well worth the 4.5 hour round trip

There are not many attractions and things to do in Ft Myers area this time of the year. We decided to make a trip and visit Revs Institute. We struggle a bit to make reservations and buy a tickets online. Founded that the website isn’t the friendliest one. We decided to have a tour with the docent. That was a excellent decision on our side. We highly recommend that you do the same. It’s not a big difference in pricing. Docent tour is $ 25 per person and is offered 4 times a day. The guided tour last 2:20 and is very informative to get the best of this institution. Highly recommended.

The variety and quality of their vehicles is phenomenal. It is a very comfortable and accessible museum.

Very informative and very good experience. Our guide was very good, Enjoyed every minute of a 3 hour tour. Will go back again.

Revs Institute has a reputation for being one of the finest car collections around and after waiting so long for it to reopen, didn't disappoint. All of the vehicles are displayed in a manner that celebrates their artistic qualities, and the staff is refreshingly engaging without being annoying. This will become one of my frequent stops whenever I'm in the area.

6 of us booked a $25 docent tour (3 couples) and were fortunate to have Mark G as our guide. He’s a wealth of knowledge and a true car lover. So much passion for the beauty of the cars. Up close, interesting stories, extensive collection Mr Miles Collier has. Very nice museum. Limit if 10 per tour - you never feel crowded or rushed. Your pass is for all day so after the 2+ hr tour we went to lunch, then back to wander around some more. All the volunteer guides are so friendly, knowledgeable and willing to share info.

A true museum of automotive art and history. The cars all have “provenance”; raced successful at LeMans, owned by racing legends, one of a kind or just extremely rare and valuable. The Porsche collection is outstanding.
Excellent volunteers in each section will give you insights that bring the exhibits to life. Will reserve a docent for our return visit.
Not a celebration of American muscle, but of automotive excellence from around the world.

Great cars, informed docents, beautiful multi story museum.Price is doable for the whole family, a much better buy than the Naples Zoo or Botanical Garden.

Only found this gem because of TripAdvisor! My ten year old son loves sports cars and this was the highlight of his trip to Naples. The museum has a huge collection of vintage race cars, many Formula and LeMans cars too. The staff is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. So glad we visited!

Even tho my daughter and I know nothing about cars this was a fantastic look at the evolution of them. The amount of authentic old cars and the knowledgeable volunteers made this a highlight of our trip to Naples. When u get tired of the crowded beach and the heat make this ur next stop.

If you are any sort of a gear-head then you'll love Rev's Institute.
A great selection of cars...and the occasional motorcycle.
It would be nice if someone would take on the collection and bring it up to date with more modern stuff, however I understand the limitations there!

Excellent museum and teaching staff with incredible vehicles on display. I attended the engine class and found it very interesting and informative and will attend more classes as they become available

If you get to Naples, you must visit the revs institute.
Petrol heads will love to see some really scarce cars, some are not seen in the normal museum's.

My husband and I visited Revs Institute for the first time this January (2023) and it was excellent. It was fascinating to see the number of cars and variety that they had to offer, but the staff were also very engaging and valuable. They really added to the experience. Definitely a must see!

In this truly exciting museum you can admire historically significant, luxury, and race cars from 1896 to 1995. The tour begins with a large collection of primarily racing Porches. As you make your way through the museum, you get a good sense of the development and significance of the automobile—starting with the first Mercedes Benz, the Model T, etc., and ending with beautiful examples of more modern vehicles.
Nearly all the 100 cars are in driving condition. There were helpful docents everywhere to add interesting background and details. My husband is very interested in cars, so this was perfect for him. I’m less of an enthusiast and enjoyed the exhibit as well but spent less time on the details and more on just admiring the beauty of so many of the cars. I also spent lots of time studying the mascots exhibit just outside the entrance to the main exhibits. The number of visitors is limited, which makes the experience at Revs even better.

if you have a son or Daughter who is into cars this is your place! some of the coolest race cars and antiques all on display had a chat with Pete about some awesome project hes been a part of and some new cars soon to be reviled to the museum best way to spend a rain day in Naples

Wow! Mr. Collier, this is an incredibly interesting place. My sister and I visited with our car crazy husbands. They went off on their own pace while we went ours. The displays are well done and the collection is beautifully curated. I love beautiful cars and history, but I’m not a gear head. The displays were easy to understand and the volunteers were always available to tell stories and point out interesting facts. When we are back in Florida the next time we will do the guided tour, which should be even better, but for a quick visit it was great to just wander around on our own. Revs Institute is top notch and obviously a labor of love.

Excellent place for a car guy who's into road racing. The Porsche collection is a must see. Many significant and historic cars.

Fantastic automobile museum.
Four galleries.
Historical photographs.
Knowledgeable docents.
Each cars was nicely displayed, and a plaque gave its history.
This was my 3rd visit, and I'd go back again and again.

Great and modern museum with fantastic volunteers who know a lot and love to tell you more about the cars. Perfect for a time-out from the fantastic beaches in Naples
on a hot summer day. My favourite is the "Vitesse" section where they have many classic but also less known sports cars.

Signed up for an auto class on engines. Mike Barbone is a dynamite instructor. What a professional Auto guy and teacher. I am an automotive engineer and i would recommend this class to everyone!

What a little known and wonderful venue in Naples. Everyone can appreciate the wonderful presentation, information and variety of motor vehicles and memorabilia. Where else but a place like Naples would you have so many enthusiastic and well informed docents. In the same league as the Mullin Museum and others. Thank you Mr. Collier for making this experience possible.

One of the most interesting Car museumsI have ever visited and it is private.
A MUST SEE!
This place houses many of the original cars that made automobile history.
The fist production Porsche
The last Mercedes Benz that Porsche designed before he quit and opened his own company
The FORD GT that beat Ferrari at LeMans
Cary Grants car
Racing Bentlys and racing Caddillacs Who knew?
Car names I did not know existed.
Well worth the modest cost of admission if you love cars as I do expect a minimum of 3 hours for your tour.
I spent 2 hours and I am going back again for 3 more.
The Collier Family owns this museum. It is located in Collier County. Yes, the same family.
Some of these cars are priceless. So the calue of this collection is unknown. I put it well into the 100’s of millions of dollars.
Again if you are a car enthusiast you cannot muss this.
The Docents explain the history of the cars and probably work for no compensation because the LOVE WHAT THEY DO!

We visited Rev car institute after reading all the other reviews and we both love all types of cars. You have to book a time slot in advance and pay online, which is to stop there being too many visitors at one time, which is a good thing. When you walk in to the building there is a guide to help you around the complex and point you in the correct direction, all the guides are very knowledgeable and wanted to help if you asked any questions. The collection of cars is second to none and many of the cars here are unique and one of a kind. What fascinated us that this collection is described as a living museum and all cars are still driven and some are still raced. Revs Institute is definitely worth a visit and I would recommend everybody go

Although, the "girls" didn't go- they guys thought it was a good time.
One does have to have a ticket prior to going so go online and schedule that ahead of time.

An amazing collection of cars! Even non car lovers will find something to like. The guided tours were completely booked so we got general admission, but there are docents in every room who are extremely helpful with the history behind the cars. Worth it!

If you like old race cars in original condition you will LOVE this place. Be sure to book a GUIDED tour so you can look at the displays while a docent explains their significance.

I just completed my first RevsEd course; it was outstanding! I took automotive electrical 101; even though I have worked on cars my whole life I learned a lot. Great instructors and very good hands on approach allowing students to learn diagnostics in a real world environment. I highly recommend all the RevsEd courses; I'll be taking more.

Just completed the Engine Course 102 and learned so much. If you are looking for a great way to learn something new, meet new friends and have a load of fun, I highly recommend any one of the new classes being offered. Hands on experience with plenty of thought provoking engine trouble shooting tests on the final day and a half of the class. I am looking forward to taking more. Thanks Mike and Craig for the knowledge and fun. Also thanks to Karen for the apple pie!!!! Yummy. Keep up the great work Revs!

What an amazing automobile collection! Definitely worth the visit but reserve ahead as they limit the number of visitors per day. Photos are allowed and every vehicle is not roped off, but you can’t touch them. As much a museum for the art of cars as for the engineering. The volunteer guides are plentiful and very informed about each car.

What a fantastic museum. The two Docents that led our tour were extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and really kept our attention throughout the tour. I learned so much during my visit. The mechanics shop was amazing and I was excited to learn that they have classes. This is a must see!

I am not a car person but I really enjoyed this place. We went last year with our 25 year old son and then again this year with my in-laws. Both times we did a docent led tour that included the workshop and will likely do it again when other visitors come to town. Each docent was very knowledgeable and each one had their own personal passion and perspective which made each tour unique. I highly recommend this place!

The trip to Rev's Institute was a Christmas present for my grandson (15) but both my husband and myself are huge car enthusiasts and this was truly "a kid in a candy shop" experience - for young and old! My grandson dashed about exclaiming over cars that he had heard of and those few he had not. I walked more slowly, savoring the experience, and the immensely knowlegable and pleasant gentlemen docents who gave me fascinating tidbits about the cars (such as the Delahaye car, meant to appear as if it were floating, was made by a birdcage manufacturer, and that the three points of the Mercedes Benz symbol stand for Land, Air and Sea - the three environments for which they made motors. So DO engage these very enthusiastic and charming volunteers!) It was worth every penny! Advance reservations online are the only way to get in. Once, there, it is a marvelous 1-1/2 - 2 hour visit (or longer if you aren't accompanied by a teenager!)
There is also an app you can download to experience the museum (also available using QR code on paper map at front desk).

A spectacular collection of very rare cars across the decades. The focus is on racing history with a unique perspective on European racing history and America’s involvement. Our guide Rick had an extraordinary knowledge of the individual cars in the collection and the significance of each vehicle’s racing history. Do not miss this museum if you are anywhere near Florida. It’s worth the drive.

A must-experience for any avid car collector or
enthusiast. Mr. Collier’s collection is world-class. I was fortunate enough to take a few workshop classes with Michael Barbone and the experience was nothing less than spectacular. The amount of education I received as an enthusiast was incredible. His teaching style, community and the team building he encourages with hands-on experience is something you will remember for a lifetime. Highly recommend visiting The Rev's and
if you are local or visiting Southwest Florida encourage you to try and take a class as you will not be disappointed.

I was expecting to see a few cars and mostly displays of memorabilia. Not so. There are 3 main theme areas that are amazing. Don't miss the Porsche wing that covers the racing heritage with numerous displays of cars and engines. Another wing presents the racing history of other names plus some one of a kind special interest cars. Two hours was not enough time to see everything.

If you love cars, Revs Institute is the place for you. My family and I have always been fascinated with cars in general and we had a blast here. People who work here are really well prepared and knowledgable.

I saw the sexiest cars I've never seen before in the Revs Institute collection. They have knowledgable docents to help you learn about the cars and the way they are displayed gives you space and time to enjoy them. I don't usually like this kind of museum but they made it interesting even to me.

I recently completed the RevsEd Simple Automotive Maintenance class at the Revs Institute, taught by Mike and Ian, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hands-on class was perfect for beginners—informative and relaxed. The instructors were great at explaining things in simple terms, making even basic car maintenance feel fun. We learned useful, skills like checking fluids, changing a tire and tire safety, changing fuses, and much more. The atmosphere was friendly and encouraging, and you could tell the instructors truly enjoy teaching and sharing their expertise. I highly recommend this class. It’s a great blend of learning and fun, and a wonderful way to experience Revs Institute’s passion for automobiles up close! 🚗👏

Best thing to do in Naples if you need a change from the beach and boating, Plan ahead because it's only open 3 days a week and sells out quickly, particularly around holidays.

What an awesome car museum!
We are visiting from Fernandina Beach, FL and we love to come to Naples and this time we made a point to visit this gem.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and that pretty much set the mood for the rest of the experience. We were able to get a military discount which was really great.
All the staff was super friendly and informative in all the sections of the museum.
To mention a few names: Ralph, Jim, Elissa and Carmine all provided great information about the cars.
We loved it!!!

Our docents, Roc and Henry were very knowledgeable and so interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tour. It is a must see especially for those that are automobile buffs.

My husband, our son and our grandson (14) had a tour with Dan! They all came back raving about what a great time they had. It was “so much better than expected!”

I am a “museum junkie”, and Revs is one of the best I have ever visited-including all those at our Nation’s Capitol and in major cities like Chicago. And I’m not even a “car guy”! ALL the Staff are courteous, organized and professional. Definitely take the Docent-led tours-“Rock” and Joel were the best and well worth the small additional charge. I’m a long-time Naples resident and Revs is truly one of the best entertainment values in town-even for a local.
J. S. Naples, FL

What a wonderful museum of very significant cars from late 1800's to modern vehicles. I really enjoyed the wide variety, quality of the vehicles and the knowledge and time that the volunteers spent with me. If you are into Porsche you will go crazy. But, like me, even if you are not but love cars, you will really enjoy it! I My favorite was a spectacular 1937 Delahaye Special Roadster which is an art deco work of fine art! Also, make sure to download the custom app if you go...it has the story and details of every car in their collection, along with close ups of the engine, interior and video of it driving.

The cars themselves are incomparably beautiful but the visitor experience could be improved. At the main entrance you are dumped into a crowded jumble of a gift shop that would be a major egress disaster in case of an evacuation emergency. A proper lobby is needed.
Once inside there is no written overview of the collection’s history and display logic. Are cars arranged by type, chronology, or ? It’s largely unclear. A paper map suggests a route but the order seems arbitrary across several disconnected rooms. Lighting is not of museum quality at all, and the backgrounds are dark.
Slightly creepy is the fact that even if you have not booked a guided tour docents will trail you and initiate conversations when your body language is saying you just want to look. Their unavoidable discourse tends to get lost in the weeds, and the labels are also very heavy on technical jargon and anecdote rather than clear facts for a general audience.
In short, a must for the objects themselves but an idiosyncratic experience. Old car techies will be in heaven.

If you love cars, your eyes will widen the moment you walk through the doors of this place, you’ll start saying “wow” every minute or so as each beautiful display comes into view, and this won’t stop until you leave. At which point you’ll start sharing the experience with everyone you know who also love cars and most of the people you know who don’t.
But it doesn’t stop with the world class, mind-blowing car collection. Revs also runs an educational program in the on-site restoration and research facility (which, by the way, is as spotless and organized as a hospital operating theater). I first took Brakes 101 and was hooked. I’ve now attended two more series of classes (Engines 101 and 102j and can’t wait until the next one.
Trust me, unless you’re an auto tech, you’re likely to learn a ton in these classes even if you are (or think you are) very familiar with the operation of these systems. And you’ll have great fun doing it.
I have to call out Craig, who taught all of the classes I took. He has forgotten more than most mortals will ever know about these machines and still has a clear, patient, and fun way of sharing his knowledge and making everyone smarter. Mike, who created the educational program, is always on hand to contribute, coach, and take feedback to help him craft the future of these classes.
Highly, highly recommended.

Take the tour with a docent. Chip wss our guide and he was amazing. He has so much knowledge and is willing to share. We will return!!

This was a second visit (early Nov 2021) (first time in June 2019) . We arrived 30 minutes before our start time and left close to their quitting time, for nearly five hours.
If we could have stayed eight hours, we would have to be able to read and see all the details. If was just fantastic!!! The guides / volunteers were very accommodating and helpful with their knowledge. Thank you!

We stayed in Naples on our way to the Keys in order to Visit Revs Institute and we could not have been happier. My husband is a bit of a gear head and he was in complete heaven. Could easily spend better part of a day there. The volunteers were very friendly, helpful and eager to share their knowledge. Loved REVS!!!

Though the Peterson Museum in LA is over the top, this museum is stunning for its display of important cars from the early 1900s that shaped our love of the auto to the fabulous race cars of the 50s through the turn of the millennium. The grouping in themes of their time is really a tale of the times. This museum is as much art as auto, the display and the cars so beautiful. And virtually all of the cars not only run but are taken to track events for the newer generations to see and hear their wonderful sounds of a prior era.

Unbelievable private collection of cars- cars from every period of automobile history. Immaculate and easy museum- they take reservations so there never a crowd. Very cool look inside the all white clean rooms where the mechanics do their magic...an incredible collection not to be missed! Adjacent to Naples Municipal Airport-

We had a docent tour with docent Rock of the museum. The tour was excellent. The museum cars and displays were excellent. The docent was excellent and well worth waiting to get tickets. He added a depth of knowledge that you can’t get from display cards.
My wife is not really into cars but she really enjoyed the tour because the museum explains how cars have influenced our lives.
Thank you REVS Institute and it’s owner, Mr. Collier, and all the volunteers for providing such an enriching experience!

We took a guided tour our guide was the best. He knew a lot about all of the cars and had great stories. The museum has mostly racing sports cars from all eras with a number of other cool cars and most are in running condition. They actually take them to the track!

This place is amazing, so glad I booked a tour on our trip to Florida from the UK. My husband is passionate about classic cars and bikes, so this was a real winner. There are lots of volunteers, who are keen to impart everything they know about the cars on display. We had a tour with Richard and Eric….AKA Rock! They clearly loved their subject and made our tour really interesting. I thought I would be bored, but no, it was fantastic hearing all the interesting facts as they walked us through all of the cars on display, explaining the history and evolution of the motor car. The cars are pristine. This place is really worth a visit, car lover or not!

Wonderful collection of automotive and racing cars! Very educational, with friendly knowledgeable staff.
This is one of the best museums I have ever visited.

The Revs Institute is a must see for any car enthusiast. The volunteers who work there are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Great auto museum. Amazing car collection. The staff and docents were all wonderful. Highest possible recommendation. I could have spent all day at the museum.

10 out of 10, I just finished the engine 101 class with Mike B and it was awesome, I originally signed up mostly to see the back room working of Revs and I was not disappointed. What a spectacular place, and what a great ambassador for the Revs institute, he made us feel very at ease, look around but don’t touch was his mantra and it was a great experience. Not only did we get an education about engine operation, but we got to see what real craftsman do when it comes to restoration.

I've visited this wonderful museum several times. I've also taken several courses in Revs Ed, their hands-on classroom experience. Last week I finished the V8 Engine Rebuild Class. Four of us completely disassembled a new Chevy 350 V8 Engine. After measuring and verifying that all parts were in tolerance per the manufacturer's specifications manual, we then replaced certain parts and reassembled the engine. On the final day we started the engine successfully and tuned it up. Craig and Ian were simply outstanding as instructors. I would highly recommend the Revs Ed courses for anyone interested in vehicles, especially those who have not had a previous opportunity for hands-on learning.

It’s a great place for men to spend an afternoon while women do whatever. The collection is extensive.

This place is impressive with the amount of stunning cars of the past. The docents were excited to share information throughout the museum. I found it very interesting. It is a great way to see the advancement of vehicles through history. The cars themselves were beautiful to look at. It is set up like any top notch art museum. Even if you are not a car enthusiast you will enjoy this place.

My wife and I did the docent led tour and were very impressed by the collection of cars and the exhibits. Craig was our guide and he was knowledgeable about every car, answered our questions and included insights into the car's history. It is definitely best to do the docent led tour to get the most out of a visit. The tour was 2 hours and the time just flew by as it was so interesting. You do not have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy the institute.

I recently completed the Rev’s Institute’s Engine 101 class (part of the Rev’s Ed program). It consisted of four 2-hour classes that introduced a small group of us to the components of a four-cylinder engine and how they function both individually and together to make an engine run. The hands-on classes were enjoyable, informative, and thoroughly engaging.
The setting of the classes is a treat in itself, housed in a room just off Rev’s pristine workshop, allowing us students to observe work being done on the actual cars in the museum on our way in and out of the class. It was a delight to see!
I entered the class not knowing an alternator from a distributor, and left with a basic understanding of the primary components of the engine from the starter through the exhaust pipe.
I heartily recommend this class to anyone who loves cars or just loves learning, and I hope to take the next level as well.

Attended the engine rebuild class for RevsEd. The class was by far the best hands on learning that I've ever been apart of. The instructors Craig and Ian were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Class is small and personal which is perfect for thus type of material. Complete tear down and rebuild of an engine. Just what an inspiring gear head needs.

A lot of people hadn’t heard of the Rev Institute but we were recommended by a friend. If you like cars you will love this. It is a private collection of over a 100 cars all with a history . We took a private tour and the man who took us was very knowledgeable. It was worth $25 per person

Amazing collection to see, overwhelming amount of fabulous vehicles from all eras, and an education in the history of the automobile and racing, and some of the development of the Naples area. Really fun museum if you are at all excited by sports cars, or have children who are.

A local couple encouraged us to visit here to see the beautiful Collier Family automobile collection. The cars were indeed beautiful but the majority of them were of the racing variety and not a touring/pleasure variety. Though we did not pay a higher admission charge for a docent led tour, there were information placards to reference and many docents in each area to answer any questions. Though I consider my husband a "car guy" he was hoping for fewer historical racing machines and to see and enjoy more historical touring/pleasure automobiles.

Amazing what money can buy. More than 100 vintage classic automobiles. Each in excellent to pristine condition. Displayed in a beautiful building that feels much like a mortuary. Whispering seems the appropriate way to talk. Well informed pleasant and friendly men are more than willing to explain the history or features of every automobile. Porsches, BMWs, Duesenberg‘s, Bentleys, and race cars galore fill the building. An original tricycle and bicycle also are on display. Guarantee that that bicycle seat would not be on my bike for a long period Car lover, or not, this exhibit is of value and interest. Walking around a half billion dollars, at a minimum, in metal is an experience in itself.

Although this place is only open part of the week and therefore reservations are recommended it is definitely worth a visit even if you are not an automobile enthusiast. The docents are very knowledgeable and ready to answer any question you might have. The displays are really a model for any kind of museum with excellent lighting and room to view the pieces from all angles. A must see

As a gear head, this place made me smile from ear to ear. Oh, the Porsches, Ferraris, Maserati’s, and Corvettes. This is an outstanding car museum. People are always around to ask questions. This is one of the most extensive collections in the world. Loved this place. Would go back again and again. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if they served Champagne as you toured the impressive collect. #A_Wine_O in love!

If you're interested in cars, this place is a must! Well-informed staff and beautiful vehicles in a well-designed building. They really need a small cafe though.

Wether you are visiting or you are a resident of Naples, FL you have to check out the museum and all the wonderful information and large array of car collection that hides inside.
Not only do they have informative and courteous tours but they also offer automotive classes!
A 4 day course over 2 week span. And NOT just for adults anymore. They have youth classes as well! I recently learned of this and my son (15) is already taking his second course! He loves it, and his teacher Mike Barbone is an amazing instructor!
Even our dog is now an honorary pit crew member.
If you get a chance I highly encourage you to check this place out for all it has to offer residents and visitors!!

I never heard of this museum before I saw it was Trip Advisor's #1 rated attraction of "things to do in Naples." It also was declared the finest sports car collection in America by The New York Times. The museum's goal is to preserve automobile history. This collection has "more than 100 automobiles manufactured between 1896 and 1995." Amazingly, the vehicles are kept in working condition & even driven! I enjoyed seeing an original Ford Model T. IMPORTANT: advanced reservations are required! There is a docent led tour of up to 10 people at a time. The minimum tour of 2 hours lasted about 2 hours, 40 min. for our particular tour. Our docent, Rocky, had an encyclopedic knowledge of automobiles & was great! As these valuable cars are maintained in a consistent, controlled temperature & relative humidity, the museum suggests that you dress for a more cool indoor climate (e.g., wear long pants & possibly a sweater). I didn't need a sweater though, especially as we were continually walking through the exhibit areas. Due to the historic nature of the cars, you're also asked not to touch them. Last word... Although I'm not a car person, I found the tour to be interesting (although full disclosure: I started fading after the 2 hour mark.). My hubby though was thoroughly fascinated by The Revs Institute!

One of the best privately held collections of vintage automobiles in the World ... yes, I mean the World !!! Due to the historical significance of the individual cars in this collection, I would Strongly Suggest that you reserve ahead for a guided tour instead of simply strolling through the facility on your own. From the vintage Porches to the Packards, the very old to the relatively recent, the collection is comprised of vehicles that have automotive historical relevance and significance ... making this accumulation of vehicles truly unique. Whether you are an automotive historian, or simply want to experience the sight of beautifully preserved vehicles (all of which are still in running condition) ... this place is definitely worth the visit ...

REVS is the best of many car museums I have seen. Take the docent guided tour, and pack a lunch so you can spend remainder of day on your interest. Many historic cars and most Porsche models outside Stuttgart. Deserves the #1 rating on TA. Get the app to study on your own.

I took my 17 year old daughter for more than 3 hours on a hot and humid afternoon. We did not do the docent tour. She's at this stage of being a bit anti social. In fact, she really didn't want to go. But, I did so I managed to get her to come with me. Despite the fact we opted out of the docent tour there are so many volunteers around the cars, I was pretty surprised to see how much she interacted with them. She had questions and really started getting into it. We toured the entire museum and I knew she was into it when she started asking me which car would i want. She definitely had her favorites. My only recommendation for younger people being they are so electronically focused would be to have more videos of the cars being raced and in day-to-day usage and activities. A great way to spend a half day in Naples.

This is one of the most comprehensive collection of sports cars in the US, featuring one of the largest collection of Porsches in the world. If you are a car nut and visiting SW Florida, this is a MUST See museum.

Great volunteers, would 100% recommend a led tour next time. I only heard parts of it, but thought it was a great thing to have and so much to know about these cars.

Whether you just like beautiful cars to look at or you are a real enthusiast with technical questions, this is the place. The docents are all car nuts who delight in sharing.

Spent about 4hrs going thru the collection and clearly needed to have another 4hrs to really give it justice. Fantastic collection of Porsche autos with originals (race and otherwise); and many other vehicles with history and stories. Take the time and get a reservation (necessary) for early in the day so that you can spend the day, it will take all of that. A do not miss, particularly if you are an auto aficionado!

A fantastic collection racing cars from the turn of the 20th century, take the tour to get all the details on this superb collection from America and Europe. Amazing racers from the LeMans Races and others. The attention to details and history is outstanding. Lots of Art Deco era cars are a treat to see fully restored. Plan on 3-4 hours to see and read the stories, Don't miss it!

Wow! So much to say about this place. Not an average car museum. Extremely well done…quality displays, well taken care of, knowledgeable staff (this is an understatement), super interesting and top-notch! It is a must-do if you are visiting the area. You need not be a car enthusiast to enjoy this museum. So impressive. I took my 15-year-old grandson with me and he enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommend.

I went with my husband and his friends, it was incredible. I learned so much and the cars are fascinating and beautiful. I would not consider myself a car person but would be thrilled to return for another visit!

Wonderful collection for car lovers. Unusual cars, very knowledgeable people explaining history etc. Worth the visit.

You don't have to be a huge car or rave enthusiast to appreciate Rev. The collection of vehicles is amazing. They have docents more than happy to answer questions. We were told they rotate the cars often so there is almost always something new to enjoy on display. I thought it was very interesting seeing the progression of vehicle body style, materials used, tires evolving, etc... very estetically pleasing. Very happy we found this gem. Very highly recommended.

We have been to numerous car museums - and this one was different then the rest. There are numerous docents scattered throughout the museum that tell you the back stories of the very unique cars in their collection. There were many different males that we hadn’t seen elsewhere - and lots of old race cars. You need to get your tickets beforehand online - and do it early since the slots fill up fast.

This is the best auto museum I have been to and possibly the coolest museum. What a collection of raced autos with deep history. The first bicycles were really cool to see in person.

Revs is an absolute hidden gem. Not just a car museum, they also offer classes for adults and teens. My son took three courses this summer on engines and car maintenance! With the coolest cars and top-notch teaching staff, this organization is a Naples treasure.

Absolutely fantastic docent led tour of a remarkable collection of cars! One of a kind automobiles with fascinating histories. Not to be missed! Take the docent led tour for the best experience - my expectations were exceeded!

Revs Institute is a world class auto museum that all visitors to SWFL should experience! The cars displayed are second to none and their friendly and knowlegeable staff make your visit a real experience. I recently took an engine rebuilding class and was able to experience a dream I have had for many years.
Wow!
What an outstanding venue to see iconic cars from the entire history of racing. The historical significance of most of the Institute's cars was surprising. The way that the Revs Institute is designed makes for an intimate viewing of their collection. Highly recommended.....
