Great Minor League Ball Park

By nycgal529 |

Great place to see a minor league baseball game that won't break the bank. This is a good place to take the kids and have a nice time. A nice place for out-of-towners as well as locals to see a ballgame. It is conveniently located next to the Staten Island Ferry and has great views of Manhattan.

Great Night Out

By 225thomasv |

This is a great night out for the family that is an inexpensive way to see a baseball game. They always have a quality product on the field and every seat is a good seat for the money. With views of the Manhattan skyline it's Judy a great place to relax for a few hours. Bring the kids for sure.

Baseball game

Had a great time with the family... place always has activities for the kids while the game is going on

One of the finest minor league parks anywhere

By Alan B |

The stadium -- actually named Richmond County Bank ballpark -- is in a great location. Near the Staten Island Ferry and with a large parking lot. There are no bad seats. The outfield looks out over the harbor, with Manhattan across the water.
They have lots of food outlets, at prices that are reasonable for a ballpark. It is very kid-friendly. You can take pictures with the team mascots (Scooter, the Holy Cow and Red) on the concourse before the game, and the kids can run the bases after the game. There are some incredible values available for families and groups, including some all-you-can-eat options.
It is a great family outing -- at prices not much more than a movie.
Highly recommended!

Relaxing evening

By Stanley S |

The Baseball stadium is a great place to watch a game. All the seats are close to the action. It is interesting to speculate on which players will be the next NY Yankees. We were to see two local athletes play for the opposing team which added to the excitement.

Going back in time when baseball was enjoyable, a family thing

By Phyllis K |

close to the action...no loud noisy commercials...ball players who care...a very enjoyable experience
even the food was good

Love the game!

By bridgesm0m |

Beautiful stadium! Entertaining staff is great, players are friendly, and the view is awesome! Fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights. Located right by the Ferry.

Staten Island Gem

By dmg0722 |

what a great night!! watch a ball game, eat a hotdog, drink a beer then stay afterwards to watch fireworks and easily assessable by the SIRT, Ferry or bus. You cannot ask for a better family outing, date or just a night out. Even the cheap seats are good seats!!! Affordable and a great night also for teenagers to go and have a good time!

A fab evening doing something different

By debwales |

We visited New York 16th-21st July 2015 as a family of four travelling from the UK and an offer popped up on Groupon to go to a Yankees game. Well how could we resist it was something we never had in our country. When we got off the subway the stadium was directly across the road. It was amazing. The atmosphere was incredible and the Stadium was one of the best I have ever seen for any sporting occasion. The Yankees won so this added to the evening. Only thing I would say is the beer was a little pricey so we only had one. I would definitely recommend to anyone as we had never really watched a baseball game before and really enjoyed it. When the match was over it was so easy to get back to the centre of New york too.

Love this stadium

By brettnyc |

Love going here for a game.. View is 2nd to none.. Hate traveling to yankee stadium in the bronx from my house . Tons and tons of traffic.. Also a great dollar value. Almost every seat is great

Awesome Harbor View

By Peter F |

This field has the most amazing view when you look out to centerfield: NYC and the Harbor. The ballpark is ok, but the view is what makes it great. The stadium is the home of the Staten Island Yankees, a minor league team.

Ballpark Bust

By BDS0517 |

On a birthday Baseball Palooza and the Yankees Stadium is the third stadium in 12 days. Bought the tickets for Boston's Fenway Park at StubHub. No problem. Electronic ticket scanned at the gate. Bought the Yankees ticket on VividSeats.com and brought the electronic ticket to the park. We were shuffled from Gate 4 to Will Call window for assistance where the rudest man in NYC was an absolute horrible "customer service" team member. This man told us we bought from a reseller and should have purchased from Yankees directly. "Move on!" Then a semi-helpful man sent us to customer Service window #2. If possible, he was more rude!he offered no help and simply called on the next in line. By this time we had already been thru security, bags searched, and are at helper number three with no idea what to do. We left the park and went to a police officer who offered very helpful instructions to go to a souvenir store up the block so we ran three blocks and the man there printed the tickets for ten dollars. He was super helpful and said it happens ALL the time! We ran back to the stadium and got in by the bottom of the second inning! What an experience. Boo to the Yankees organization for making a fun experience taxing and stressful. How about getting into the 21st century and recognize electronic tickets! Save the landfill. Be nicer!! Any of those or all of those are good ideas!
Lastly, there were plenty of available seats. Probably for a good reason.

Baseball night out

By Mommy4n1 |

Just the rigjt sized stadium. Good family fun. Less expensive than MLB. All the seats are good. Kids can rin the bases after select games. Lots of promotions.

Stadium class location continued two blocks north !

By P J G |

A beautiful & well-built place to carry on one of the great American traditions with one of the most successful sports teams in this nation's history.

The view is the icing on the cake.

By Josephstaten is... R |

An intimate setting to see a ballgame. The Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline is great. Parking for handicap is almost on non existent. The price for tickets are fairly priced.

Staten Island Yankees Stadium

By WildWillyR |

Great place to take a family without going broke. The stadium sits on the shore of New York Harbor so you can see ships gliding by behind the outfield. Reasonable price and easy parking make this a worthy substitute for going to a major league game which has turned into a very expensive experience.

Just OK

By janbay313 |

For a ball park, the food is OK. But it is crowded, hot and the selection is limited. The sellers are rushed and not particularly helpful or nice. Since there is no other place to eat here, you don't have much choice so stick to the hot dogs, fries and other simple food.

Good family entertainment

By Ladymeadboo |

This was our first visit to a baseball game and as the major league teams were all out of town we chose to visit the Staten Island Yankees and have to say we were not disappointed. The game was very family orientated with entertainment while the teams swapped between innings. We also got free ' bobble head' models of a baseball player. Add to this the journey via the Staten Island ferry past the Statue of Liberty and end of game fireworks all for $18 dollars each it was a great introduction to baseball. Oh yeah the Staten Island Yankees won against the Brooklyn Cyclones 4-1.

I always enjoy my trips to the ball park!

By Mary B |

What a pleasant experience to take your children to with family and friends! I have attended the ballpark many times over the years with school fundraisers, Boy Scout trips, and many themed ball games there. The fireworks at the end of each game is such wonderful overlooking the manhattan skyline! It's very economical for tickets and food. The food has gotten better over the years! The food lines can be long at times. It doesn't stop me. My overall visit is a very pleasant one! Though I hate when our team loses!

graduation

By Emil H |

My son's graduation was held here this is a very nice stadium its clean is sufficient and next to the transportation reasonably price food in the surrounding area next to the bay and ferry.

Nice walk around

By John R |

I enjoyed walking around the shuttered stadium. Plenty of places to look inside, and you could tell it hadn't been carefully maintained in more than a year. Worth a visit if you have time in the area.

Great time, good food, and good baseball

By Dani D |

Went to see the SI Yankees play since the big leaguers were out of town - was not disappointed. The stadium is beautiful with a view of the harbor and Manhattan skyline. There are many food options to choose from and they are delicious too. The vendors are entertaining. The between-inning games are family-oriented and fun. The baseball was even quite good, which is not always the case at this level. A fun evening and I recommend this to all.

Family Fun!

By 530cynthiaw |

My kids always enjoy our trips to the ballpark. They have activities for the kids and give aways at most games. Admission prices are cheap. Food is good, can be a little pricy but to be expected for the experience. There are fireworks at all Friday night home games over the summer. The sprawling view of Manhattan skyline is worth the trip alone.

Great ballpark with great view of New York

By ransom007 |

There is a parking garage about 1/4 mile west of the ballpark. I paid $6 there. The staff of the ballpark is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The ballpark is located near the water's edge and has great views of Manhattan and Brooklyn over the outfield fences. The sight lines for watching the game are excellent. There are plenty of eateries available and a good team store.

Love Jane Rodgers!!!!

By Michael B |

Love Jane Rodgers!!!!! Great family place. Go Yanks! Great service from the guy they call "Coach" Thanks Jane from Mikey Ya-yo!!!!!!

Great view of Manhattan while cheering on the SI Team

By GdayNY |

The baseball being played is single A ball so you're seeing players at the very start of their career, hopefully some future stars you'll recognize in a few years. The stadium is in a great location with a great view of lower Manhattan from most seats in the stadium. Fun for younger kids and the tickets don't break the bank like a regular Yankee game in the Bronx.

JA day to remember!

By Rose B |

Need a nice summer day out without water or sand...choose the ballpark ..kickback and relax..lots of goodies at reasonable prices..a beautiful setting and if you like American baseballl a chance to cheer foe home team!

A real gem

By Dan G |

The view alone of Manhattan from the ballpark is worth the trip. If you're lucky, you'll catch a departing cruise ship which appears to sail right thru the outfield as it exits NY harbor. A good place to catch upcoming NY Yankee prospects, and also Yankee stars who may be rehabbing from injury there. It's a short walk from the ferry. Very safe and family friendly.

Great minor league baseball

By Gmoney G |

One of a kind experience. Where else can you catch a foul ball, drink beer and see the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline at the same time? There weren't many folks there on a HOT summer Sunday, but those who were had a great time. Went to Pier 79 Pizza after, also great, but not on here yet, I guess...

July 5th

By jazzi319 |

What a nice way to spend some family time . The ball park in clean, safe and reasonable price. If you like baseball this is the place for you . No matter where you are seated you have a clear view of the players. They real do a lot with the audience

Very poorly run

By emergencyrn |

Went to opening day at the ballpark. They need to do something about the concession stands. My friend stood on line for 5 innings to get a hotdogs and a soda. Absolutely ridiculous. Maybe try having people who walk around selling stuff like all other ballparks do. It really took away from the whole experience

Staten Island trip 2017

By everette h |

I enjoy minor league baseball and this park is one of the best. There is a lot of history from Whitey Ford to Robinson Cano with the Staten Island Yankees. A great show between innings as well as the baseball game.
The ball park is about a 2 min walk from the ferry. It is clean and well kept, the view is not bad either.

Nice evening

By Diane F |

Fun to watch baseball & at the end of game, great fire works display! Went on a Thursday evening. There are other nights they have fireworks too.

See some future talent

By MommaPooh |

Staten Island Yankees Stadium is well worth a visit. You can get to see some future stars in a beautiful setting overlooking the NYC skyline. The admission is very reasonable and the ball park is very comfortable. Visitors to Manhattan can just take the free round trip ferry right to the ballpark from South Ferry. While on the ferry, you pass the Statue of Libery, and Ellis Island. What a bargain!

Minor League Baseball on Staten Island

By Dank |

If you want Major League Baseball without the high prices try out the NY Yankees minor league team right here in NYC. A fun time for the whole family!

must judge for yourself

By Lenny K |

It's not always about the product on the field. People have to remember this is a developmental league. Now that that's out of the way. The stadium is beautiful. Ticket prices have gone up in recent years with little or nothing to show for it. Marketing for this stadium and this team is horrible. It is not as kid friendly as they think they are. I think most families will try a game or two but there is nothing to bring them back again. There seems to be no effort to bring in people who work in lower Manhattan, The game is just a ferry ride away. The food is horrible. Not sure why anyone needs to buy a ticket to give them "all you can eat hotdogs and soda" Minor league parks are supposed to be about fun despite the game going on in the on the field. The between innings entertainment is old and tired. The current park seems to be run by interns with some paid supervision. There is just not enough to bring us back. Hopefully the new management has good vision and can put people in seats for the whole minor league experience.

Great views

By Jon Pally |

I only went once with a group from wife's work. They had prepaid food which left much to be desired. The main feature here is the spectacular views of Manhattan over the outfield bleachers. The si Yankees are a good team and always entertain.

Nice place to take you family for a game

By Jaime O |

This is a nice place to take your family to catch a baseball game. Prices from seating to food are reasonable and it makes for a fun day out while not getting clobbered in the wallet. Plenty of food to choose from and the ices were nice and refreshing on a hot summer day.

By revruth23 |

Nice Ball Park, Fun Team to Watch, But Where Are the Fans?

By Stephen K |

For the last 8 years or so, I have been a Staten Island Yankees season ticket holder on the 21 Game Plan; this review is based my last visit to the Richmond County Bank Ball Park at St. George (more commonly referred to as Staten Island Yankees Stadium) for a double header between the Staten Island Yankees and the Connecticut Tigers. I enjoy these games for several reasons. The ball park is located in New York Harbor and offers a nice view of the harbor, Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. During the game, ships pass through the harbor, which is impressive to watch between pitches. The team has two mascots, Scooter the Holy Cow and Red, who entertain between innings, though on this night only Scooter was present. There is also a group of talented and energetic young ladies called The Pinstripe Patrol that does dance routines and tosses shirts into the stands between innings. For the kids, there is the Scooter Fun Zone that offers activities in case the kids get bored. Fans can get autographs from the players before or even after the game. Despite the fact that Staten Island and Connecticut have a shot at the playoffs and RCBP has a seating capacity of 7,171, there were not many fans inside the ball park, which, unfortunately, is typical. Why aren't fans coming to the games? Maybe it's because of the $8 parking fee for people who drive to the game, which is steep for a minor league ball park, but people who live and/or work in New York City can take the subway to Lower Manhattan and take the free ride on the Staten Island Ferry to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, which is a short walk to the ball park. Or maybe it's because the food that they sell, though high in quality, is expensive by minor league standards ($8 for a cheeseburger, $5.50 for a large ice cream cone, etc.). For people who are on a tight budget or just don't want to spend a lot of money on food, the best nights to go are Tuesdays for $2 pizza slices and Wednesdays for $.50 chicken wings. People who do want pizza, which is supplied by a local restaurant called Pier 76, should head over to the concession stand on the first base side of the concourse as soon as they enter the ball park. I made the mistake of getting a pepperoni slice between games and, because of the small crowd, the pizza must have been sitting around for 3 hours. The slice I got was so hard that I didn't even finish it because I was afraid of breaking my teeth. The chicken wings I had before the first game, on the other hand, were excellent. What, on this night, was a 3 star attraction could be a 5 star attraction with more people in the ball park.

Venue

By Chadwyck1 |

Nice stadium. Was their for A event. Nice stadium. It the home of the minor league new york Yankees. Like the set up of the place

Very nice ball park

By Derek S |

The station is very nice. The view of Manhattan is awesome. The staff could be friendlier and the food isn't good but the rest of the stadium is nice.

FAMILY ORIENTATED

By Robert P |

Beautiful stadium ,with spectacular views of Manhattan and the harbor..this is a must not only for locals and tourists!!For a reasonable rate you have an evening of entertainment that is very family orientated. They have activities between innings that my grandchildren delightened in...Mascots that get the crowds involved and giveways throughout the season.Summer months they have fireworks and following the games, the children get to run the infield bases.Food venues offer a good variety of choices at acceptable prices.Parking is plentiful at resonable rates. It is a definate return for my family.I highly recommend to all!!!

good time for everyone

By Carol R |

good time for all ages, went with My husband, children and grand-children. We all had a great time. Some Staten Island, school sell tickets, for a great price, which includes food. If anyone is in the Staten Island area, should look into getting tickets for any game.

I've had season tickets for years!

By SI M |

This is the most beautiful of all the baseball stadiums I've visited. Where else can you watch baseball plus NYC harbor activity? From my seats you can see the Statue of Liberty, ferry boats, ocean-going container ships and lower Manhattan. It's a great place for children, too, since there are lots of inter-inning entertainments, a jumping place & kid-sized meals. And kids get to run the bases after the games. And for adults, there is a variety of interesting beers and other choices of tasty food beside hot dogs. Check their calendar for the theme of your visit and whether there will be fireworks after the game. Early visitors may even collect a free gift. Every visit is a treat. Take your camera!.

The NY Yankees at 1/4 the price

By Jonathan L |

Located right next to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, the stadium sits right on the waterfront. Lovely in the Summer watching a game and the harbor traffic, it's modest price tag makes it affordable for the whole family to have an evening out. A great night out and a chance to see future Yankee stars on the rise!

Very good for sports fans and kids!

By QueenTravelor |

There are always a lot of kids, it's fun for families, its a nice day out! It's fun for everyone!!!!

Been here several times and it's always a fun family time.

By Healthygina-aol-com |

Also great for groups such as boy or girl scouts.
My son camped here one night as well, it was secure and safe.
Stadium is clean and well maintained. Parking isn't far, and all seats are good seats.
Prices are fantastic, and if you're lucky, you can see a recovering NY Yankee play here as well before they head back to the MLB after an injury.

LOVE IT

By GundaJohannesburg |

I had an amazing afternoon there, a totally new experience for me. I loved watching the NY Yankees play and wish I could see many more.

Richmond County Ballpark

By mariek95 |

Best Ballpark in New York City. Spectacular views of New York Harbor with the Statue of Liberty and New York Skyline. Also all the beautiful Cruise Ships and Ferries entering and leaving New York Harbor as well as private boats. New York Yankee Minor League games played here for great entertainment.

First and wonderful

By ca_lovers |

Yankees played a very nice game against Orioles. We had nice view from the seats that we booked online. This was a first and wonderful baseball experience and the Yankees won this wonderful event. Nice stadium with all services you need. Friendly people that guide you to your seats even if this is the first time. Would definitely do it again.

Amazing views.

By Lori Ann R |

Great inexpensive family fun. The views of NYC skyline are the best on Staten Island. Easily accessible location

By Itz P |

This stadium is amazing. Great view of the city. Always a breeze. Not one bad seat in the house. This is a great way to see a professional game with out the high price. So take your kids to the ball game! You can actually afford to eT here as well!

great family outing

By boris g |

Almost every game is a theme night . So much fun with kids. And the view is priceless. Get bored wit a game enjoy the view of Manhattan skyline. Parking became a problem since they move big parking lot away, but ones you are in
side the stadium, it is fun

Take me out to the ballgame!

By JanetHM1776 |

Always a great day out with the kids.
Nice stadium and everyone is very polite.
Reasonably priced too.

A Great Time for Family and Friends

By Vinnydee2015 |

Minor league ball really does have it's charms. The venues are smaller, the prices are cheaper and the crowds are family friendly. A game here is always a good night out. Lots of fun, reasonable prices and a nice view of the big city over the center field wall and across the bay. Lots of families and little leaguers keep the stmosphere nice. And hey, you never know, you could be seeing a future Hall of Famer in the making.

It's OK for a day

By Victoria C |

This is a minor league teams park and which you can watch a ball game. It's cheaper then the major leagues but the food leaves a lot. You can buy a ticket that includes food but don't as all the restrictions make it not worth your while.
Some seats are covered and others are not, get there early to get a covered seat so the sun does not burn you.

cant go wrong to see a baseball game cheap

By Luis B |

stadium well situated for turist atraction visiting the surrauding area very accesible whit a excelent FERRY RIDE FREE.

Beautiful stadium

By rhh720 |

I've been to over 30 minor league stadiums and this is easily one of my top 5 which I hate to admit since it's a Yankee affiliate. The cityscape in the background is gorgeous. I would go all the time if I lived closer to the stadium. The food was alright, I had a mediocre taco helmet and my gf had the driest chicken sandwich we've ever had. Parking is free which is nice...if you can find it on the streets. There is a parking garage for 6$ which gets the job done. I would definitely recommend if you go make sure you walk around the stadium to view The Staten Island September 11th Memorial.

A Ballpark for Baseball and Non-Baseball Fans Alike

By jspoet |

This ballpark is better known as Staten Island Yankees Park, after the minor professional baseball league team that plays there. It conveniently sits along the waterfront and next to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal to New York City. Parking (about $8) and tickets ($9-18) are inexpensive. The selection and prices of concession food and drinks are consistent with the ones found at many minor league parks.

Excellent sightlines allow the crowd to see the field from any point in the stadium. Scooter The Holy Cow and the Pinstripe Patrol keep the crowd entertained. There are kids’ games beyond the left field fence and digital scoreboards over center field and along the right field fence. Check the team’s website or in-park program for promotional events and firework displays.

It’s worth the drive from New Jersey to Staten Island to see The Baby Bombers in action. Although the team will have a new nickname starting with the 2017 season, we anticipate the rest of this ballpark experience will be there during our next visit.

With the layout of the ballpark, its luxury box suites and view of New York City beyond the right field wall, it would make an attractive destination for non-baseball events. Check the team's website for more information about the ballpark.

Small but Nice

By Catherine B |

This is the NY Yankees' minor league team's ballpark. It is an intimate venue - nicely built. The view is good from all seats. They have nightly fireworks after the summer games.

Nice place to watch minor league baseball.

By 735kevink |

The stadium is right on the water near the ferry. It offers fantastic views of the lower Manhattan skyline as well as the Statue of Liberty. They offer many types of decent food and beer at reasonable prices. It's very easy to get to via SI Railroad or bus.

Great place for baseball

By Mark C |

A good place to watch baseball and spend a few hours. The beer and food are inexpensive and the location is really nice.

By laik g |

Excellent food, every seat there is a good one, fireworks were amazing if you go on a Friday or Saturday night, had a blast! Good baseball and good fun!

Great place to see a ballgame

By Lorraine L |

Affordable night out with the family- great views. Plus fireworks. Best deal on Staten Island. Love the Staten Island Yankees - food has improved and the venue is perfect for a fun family night.

Beware the concessions stands!!!

By simomma53 |

Love the stadium, the games, the grounds, the hard working staff that entertain with the kids from the stands, the firework displays and of course, the ball players. Hate the concession stands. Typically I miss almost 2 innings of the game because I wait on those concessions lines as they don't allow you to bring in your own drinks or eats. Fine, but make sure your concession stands are ready to serve your fans. Warm beer??? Popcorn ready but no bags to put it in??? No popcorn bags but plenty of popcorn at the other stand across they way??? No pretzels in the revolving pretzels stands??? No cotton candy because the workers "didn't get it out of stock yet"??? Not a nice way to begin the evening with family.

A Ballpark with a View

By Randall K |

We went to the Richmond County Bank Ballpark in Staten Island on 27 July 2013 with a group from work. We got a suite that held 20. We watched the Staten Island Yankees (Short Season "A" Yankee farm team) play host to their outer borough arch rival Brooklyn Cyclones (Short Season "A" Mets farm team). The ballpark has probably the best views of any stadium I have ever been in. That includes major and minor league parks. The Manhattan skyline and views of Jersey City and Statue of Liberty are worth the visit to the park. The park opened in 1999 and still looks very good. Prices are very affordable and a great idea for family. Lots of activities before and during the ballgames with lots of free give aways. Food is typical ballpark fair with nothing special. Do try to take advantage of the all you can eat deal when purchasing tickets. It includes all you can eat hotdogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, soda and water thru the 7th inning. A great deal when you are with a group or just lugging kids with you for a day out. Parking is available next to the stadium for $8.

FOURTH OF JULY VISIT

By Dennis K |

The Ballpark has a nice view of the harbor, but I find our local ballpark disappointing. I think that I am being kind for giving it 3 stars.
Food options are limited and extremely overpriced. $8 Beers don't cut it either - I need MUCH more bang for the buck for $17.

Staten Island Yankees Family Outing

By Viviana1950 |

Every year my husband and I treat our children, grandchildren and our family to a day at the ballpark. We rent "A room With a View" which includes food & drink. After each game the young ones look forward to run the bases and the fantastic firework display. We have been having an amazing time every year. What a way to spend quality time with family, friends and supporting our local ball team. We look forward to our upcoming outing and....Go Yankees!!!

Love this place!!

By Brett E |

Great place to catch a baseball game, We have been going here for awhile now. The kids love going. They always leave with a few new autographs and usually a ball. Not a bad seat in the house, with a view of the city in the outfield. Food and drinks are reasonable for a stadium not the best food though. Go to a game that has fireworks, you won't be disappointed.

Starting to show its age

By PaulyPrideNY |

Ok I will admit I am a huge ballpark chaser and have been to dozens and dozens of stadiums, so I see things with a different lens.

I also need handicapped seating usually at the ballpark and I found the seating at RCBB to be great in terms of sightlines and ease of access. The only problem is the plastic molded back seats that are attached to bleacher benches are quite uncomfortable. A padded folding chair would be a huge improvement.

The food at the park is underwhelming and the burger I had was terrible. The lettuce and tomato put on a burger and sitting under a heat lamp is not a reciepe for success.

This is my hometown ballpark and while I hate the NY Yankees, I enjoy their Staten Island little brothers.

Great games, no stress!

By Joe C |

I have a child who wanted to see a baseball game "live, on stage". After discussing his television habits we opted to go to the Staten Island Yankees a few years ago. The thought was that it would be good enough for a 4 year old and it is 20 mites away. Here is how things broke down; 3 Tickets $52, Parking $8 (literally steps from the stadium), Food $40 (including 2 beers). $100 dollars total for the evening and we got three free t-shirts, saw fireworks after the game and spent less then 20 minutes traveling each direction. We all had a blast and it didn't break the bank. Thankfully he made the entire game. The next time we went he only made 5 innings but we had fun anyway.

Best night out in a long time, not too crowded to drive or at the concession stands. Decent food, lots of options.

Sea breeze while seeing baseball

By P5176JYpeterh |

The major league Yankees have a minor league team that plays at the this ballpark, when you watch a baseball game you get a great view of New York harbor. The Statute of Liberty is clearly seen behind centerfield. Seats are reasonably priced. All seats are close to the field. The Staten Island Yankee team livens the game up with cheerleaders, raffles, and fireworks after games. The ballpark is close to the Staten Island ferry dock. But there is very limited parking so use public buses or train.

Easy to find, easy parking

By gostartraveler |

Easy to find, just take Bay all the way to Richmond. Easy parking too, with garage next door ($8 fee) and if you park on the next level up from the entrance, there's a walkway to the street and thence from the street to the stadium. Recommend parking in garage rather than risk getting a boot from street parking. Bus stops right outside, and ferry is walkable distance as well.

Take me out to the Ballgame!

By prometheus713 |

Green, green grass and the crack of the bat when a ball is sharply struck.... you can actually afford a hot dog and a beer here! A nice breeze blowing of the water on a hot summer day. Even better when there are after game fireworks!

SI Yankees

By Em H |

Nice facility for families and couples.
Immaculate and easy to access but horrible parking.
Take mass transit or go into a parking lot early.
Nice concessions

Nice if you are local

By NUTN2000 |

Its a nice day at the ball game if you are local and do not feel like hassling with the trip to Yankee stadium.
Beautiful views of the city.
They do a nice job of incorporating the kids throughout the game and after offer a base run.
Some nice firework evenings.
I go 1 or 2x a year, that's enough.
They should upgrade the food. These days food can make a stadium.
Some good packages out there that include tix, food(all u can eat) and a ballcap.
There is always a small element of SI trashiness, its a cheap local ballgame and that's what you get but Ive never had or seen any issues.

Worst Stadium Management Anywhere

By travelinman47 |

As islanders we embraced and welcomed the Yankees Penn League club to our community. From the days of the makeshift facility at the College of Staten Island to Richmond County Stadium we have supported the club.

The problem is that the leadership of this fiasco has never supported us. The place is a mess. Concessions, bathrooms, the seats are broken, dirty and unattended. Don't they understand why the seats are empty. Why the attendance gets worse each year.

There is no parking. The lots are gone to construction of a Ferris wheel. If you are disabled in any way you are unwelcome. If you have a problem, don't ask, they don't care.

They have one and only one concern here. Get your cash and get you out. Long term President Jane Rogers has run this great promise into the ground.

bad parking

By VERA D |

they are under construction and the traffic and parking suck!!!, wont go back till everything is done on bay street.it took 30 minutes for the valet to find my car.

Nice sized baseball venue

By DREW1188 |

This is a Stadium that is such a nice size, with ocean breezes, sometimes fireworks, and action filled baseball games. It is an easy walk from the Staten Island Ferry. It is also a bargain compared to pro games and you can get great seats and there are many great seats. This area is being revitalized so there will be more things to do here. All looks fine but you do not want to stray to far off the reservation and there is no reason to. At least the police station, the 120th, is right there right across from the Stadium. Just know it is easy to take the Ferry here, and it is short walk to the Stadium which is right there, and that is quite safe. When I am there I feel completely safe. There is parking there too in lots right outside the stadium. You pay as you drive in.

nice alternative to its big brother

By Linda R |

Nice stadium with a spectacular view of NYC skyline. Worth a ferry ride over. Nice outing for families.

Baseball the old fashioned way

By Alan B |

With major league players pretty much all millionaires with egos to match, it's really nice to see professional baseball played at a level where the players really care about the game and their future in it.
The location -- overlooking the harbor -- is spectacular, and the stadium is reasonably sized. Tickets are also reasonably priced ($18 top price) and it's a small enough space to have all seats with good views. Food, run by the same concessionaire as at Yankee Stadium, is on the expensive side. A popular choice was chicken tenders and fries for $9. You are not permitted to bring food or beverages into the ballpark.
Parking is more problematic since the main lot was closed to make way for construction of the New York Wheel complex. But the garage for that facility has been opened. The good news is that it is open and not particularly expensive ($8). The bad news is that it is valet parking (which can lead to waits to get your car) and that you have to take a shuttle to the ballpark.
There are a couple of other lots available, shown on the team website. I'd particularly recommend the Wall Street lot. For $10 you self park and are one block from the stadium.
All in all, it is a nice evening out. Check the team website for special events (like fireworks) and give-aways (bobbleheads, balls, shirts, etc.)
Have fun. Hope this was helpful to you.

Beautiful Stadium ...

Great experience, beautiful view overlooking NY harbor....would like to see more events held here, concerts, fund raisers, etc...

Great Ballpark and what a view of NYC!

By Tangaroa |

Reasonable and great family fun! Next door to the Staten Island Ferry. If just visiting for the day highly recommend combining Sailor's Snug harbor which is not far from the Stadium on Richmond Terrace. The trip on the Staten Island Ferry is a nice experience with views of the harbor!

Great park with a view of the harbor and no people.

By annbury |

This has become my wife;s favorite park. She hates the real Yankees because the ballpark is full of young idiots. This is a great place to watch a game. The seats cost 16 and you can get anyplace you want. The announced attendance is always 2,000
but there is nobody there. You can sit right behind home plate if you want, The food is good when they have it

Great and easy city escape

By Jim W |

Amazing views of Manahattan from this super-conveniently located ballpark right off the ferry terminal. The game's fun, and location's perfect, and the beer selection is awesome.

Watched a ball game my son was playing in

By David O |

Nice little minor league ball park. The park was very clean and had a great view of the New York City skyline beyond the out field fence. The facilities were very well maintained and well designed. It was very easy to navigate from entrance to our seats and from our seats to the concessions and restrooms.

Fun for everyone

By townsend416 |

A Staten Island Yankees game is a great way to experience SI. Tickets are inexpensive, lots of theme days and game for kids between innings. Good food and it's just steps from the ferry (free) making for a very easy outing if you're looking for a new experience in the city.

SEE FUTURE yANKEES

By travelwithm |

You can see future baseball players. Great hotdogs and sometime they have give aways. Sometimes they have concerts before a game . This is great for kids.

very pleasant. Can watch the boats go bye and eat if you are not into the game

nice park easy parking kid friendly and cheap!!! Can see the city of New york from some of the seats

Treasure Island Farm-Team Ballpark

By Edwin Padilla |

Wow, what a night it was, our first time going to see the Staten Island Yankees play the rival Brooklyn Cyclones.

The weather perfect, the stadium buzzing with anticipation...Holly Cow 🐄
We had fantastic seats, right behind the 1st Base dugout...you could smell the sea breeze, see Lady Liberty and the Manhattan Skyline...Woohoo!

We were living in the moment...Thank you John F. For the tickets and our lovely company Lena & Jean.

This venue is fantastic, heaps of great family fun, T-Shirt giveaways, little league teams rooting, all up just go and support it.

Also, there’s Fireworks at the very end, then they’ll let the kids run around the bases, Like I said Great Family Venue.

Thanks Tripsters,
Chef Edwin Padilla
Good Food...Good Vibes

Great minor league balloark

By DDRDA99 |

I have been to a lot of major and minor league parks and I do tend to like them unless they are really bad, but this is a very comfortable place to enjoy a game watching the stars did tomorrow

Reasonable prices ticked and food, I would recommend it especially to families with children

A friend said it also is a great place when they allow Boy Scout camping on the field

Need Healthy Snack Foods

By luvyduvy18 |

Always a fun time at the SI Yankees. Plenty of mid inning children's activities. Serious thought to offering healthy food alternatives is necessary. i.e. frozen yogurt, fruit, vegetable wraps, etc

Beautiful scenery, baseball fun

By Cheri Rosen |

You can't beat the Manhattan skyline view, as you watch earnest young athletes playing baseball, silly fun activities for children between innings, and decent enough food.
They lost a star because they rarely give any of their "free stuff thrown to the crowds" to folks in wheelchairs and/or sitting in the disabled section. We can't sit closer, nor run for the free items or foul balls. Perhaps designate a Disability Customer Service team, who randomly distribute stuff for us. Perhaps they could also help the disabled with food/drink orders too (especially carrying, or placing orders.)

Beautiful location, great team

By mrskramden |

My nephew and I are big baseball fans, and have been to both minor and major league stadiums, but never got to go to see the Staten Island Yankees until this week. It was very easy to get to, and parking next door is convenient. The location is amazing. When you are in the stadium, you are over looking NY Harbor, with awesome view of the NYC and Jersey City skylines, as well as the Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn. It is an older stadium, but has plenty of food stands and a team store. We went on Money Monday so the give you raffle tickets which you put in these boxes for drawings every half inning. They also gave us bingo cards with baseball plays on it instead of numbers. My nephew got a bingo, and won 4 tickets to Fan Appreciation night coming up. My only complaint is that for some reason the home team sits on the 3rd base side which I've never seen before, and so all the entertainment, drawings, and even the cheerleaders are on the 3rd base side. If you are one the 1st base side or behind home, you're out of luck. Also, other minor league teams have things happening on the field between innings, this team does not. All in all though, we had a good time, and probably will go back, but make sure we sit on the 3rd base side.

A beautiful stadium with a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline

By Extet |

Inexpensive when compared to Major league tickets. It's a beautiful stadium that is underutilized and cost a fortune to build and maintain

Staten Island Yankees

By Obrn91 |

We purchase a mini plan every year. It's unfortunate that more fans don't attend. Very kid friendly. Beautiful view

Great view and very comfortable

By Kerry S |

This is a great stadium to see a view of NYC skyline and very inexpensive. We bought the $20 package, $6 seat tickets and $14 food card. A great place to sit outside with a cold beer and have a hot dog and popcorn.

Baseball and fireworks

By shree g |

Get off the free Staten Island ferry at St. George and walk to the Richmond County Bank Ballpark. You can often see the home team Staten Island Yankees play their baseball. All summer long, watch baseball along with a post-game fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights.

Si yankee game

By Moe1950 |

My grandson's had a great time. They love be baseball. They were able to participate in field games between innings.
Food prices too high for a family.

Affordable and enjoyable: a great combination

By gocats89 |

My wife, two daughters (ages 10 and 8) and I have attended games over the past two years as part of group outings. This year we paid a total of $88 for the game tickets, plus all you can eat food, a cap, fireworks, and an opportunity for the kids to run the bases after the game. If we had gotten there early we would have also received a baseball jersey as part of a giveaway. As others have mentioned, the views of Lower Manhattan are incredible, both during the game and from the Staten Island Ferry (free). You also have the game itself, when coupled with the crazy minor league promotions, make it chock full of activity! The food itself is not great, but I cannot imagine a better bargain.

Jewish Heritage Night

By Laurie R |

There really wasn't a lot that was Jewish that night. They wrote Staten Island Yankees on the board in Hebrew letters, but that was about it. There were no ethnic foods available.

NO PARKING

By RICHARD C |

if you are going to go to a game at staten island stadium you have to either take a train or bus to stadium (if u live on si) there is no parking.for all who live in manhattan you have better option by taking ferry and walking one block to stadium. as far as stadium itself it reminds you of yankee stadium of the bronx. must see. 3 stars was for no parking and congested area under construction.

Great place to see a game and enjoy the view of the Manhattan skyline.

By ISIndy8 |

Enjoy a ball game and the view of the Manhattan skyline. Plenty of options at the food court to enjoy with friends and family. Check out the gift shop for souvenirs ranging from T-shirt’s to sporting goods available for men, women and children. After the game walk along the promenade and visit the 9/11 memorial. Or if you have a minute to spare while waiting for the next ferry, stop and have a drink at the terminal, or one of the many restaurants within walking distance of the ballpark.

Ballpark with the best view

By Cat326 |

This ballpark is for the Staten Island Yankees, an "A" level team. The games are always fun since most of the players are very young and trying to move up. Lots of energy and small town feel with the give-aways and kid centered contests. But that vibe is happening all within a space that has one of the best views of the Manhattan skyline in the city. The food options could use an upgrade, but the seats are inexpensive and occasionally the guys from the big leagues come around during a rehab assignment. Fireworks happen on the weekends almost all season long.

Downfall of a great institution

By Michele B |

I have been to the S.I Yankees many times throughout the years as fundraisers for school events and as family get togethers. We always had a great time and the staffers were excellent. Unfortunately the new owners have really ruined the experience for me and I will not be returning . The family activities have decreased . The dancers are inappropriate for young children and the food set up is insane. I spoke to three people to ask for a way I could get food for my family and each time was told " that's the way it is this year, sorry."
We had paid a lot of money for the all you can eat plan - this had also increased in price a great deal through the years-. Usually there are a few stations set up that patrons can go to. This time there was only one. It was set up by section 1. Our seats were section 16. My father has spinal stenosis . If I had known the rules were different I would've made sure my seats were closer . No help was offered at all. I asked for different seats- were told they were sold out. Meanwhile they clearly were not . I asked for a price reduction - I was told that wasn't possible . So I spent most of the game walking the entire stadium to retrieve food for my elderly parents and rest of family . Not to mention ALL the other food lines were insane. People were online for at least a half hour each time . The purpose is to have a good time watching a ballgame with your family . An American tradition . Not wasting time away from them. In addition due to the construction going on in the area your car is parked on elevator platforms and you can't get close to the stadium . My parents have a handicap pass for a reason yet were forced to walk the entire parking lot and stadium . Again no assistance offered .

What a view for a ball game

By Noel F |

The farm team for the Yankees plays here. Even if the game is slow, all seats look to New York Harbor with the Statue of Liberty. Great fun, whether you are alone or with a group--group tickets come with food coupons. Always a good feeling in the ball park--misses the hostility sometimes found at major league games. What a great evening!

Fun day with the school.

By Sharon S |

Best Fireworks I've ever seen. So much fun. Game was great. Food is ok. Bathrooms were clean. Kids had so much fun. A fun family filled day.

Perfect Game

By DreamingofMickey |

Fields are well kept. Snack bar is open and portapottys are available. Sign says "no outside food or beverages allowed" but for PG tournaments they are not strict with the policy. There is a $10 entry fee per person.

Long wait for food

By barryjet |

Food not great eat before u go the wait time for this food is long on the other side sitting was good game was fun

Make a point of coming here

By REB91 |

Catch the free staten island ferry and then as soon as you exit, head over to the ballpark and get a ticket for $9! Much better than going to a yankees or mets game. Great atmosphere, lots of competitions and family filled fun. Cheap beer and food.

Great view of the manhattan skyline whilst watching the game

Snap, Crack & Pop

By kitkatsiny |

In the summer they have films from verizon for the little ones. Watching the fireworks during the 4th of July was fun too.

Great family fun night

By Becky-home-ecy |

We went here 3 nights during the summer... a great night with great staff! Everyone was so nice and attentive I almost forgot I was in NY ;)

Always Fun!

By aylin p |

The fireworks at the end of the game is fantastic and the mid game antics by he mascot
funny and profitable if you can catch a t-shirt. The stadium is perfect as it overlooks Manhattan and the skyline simply perfect. So clean and well kept and the kids have a blast they get to go in a huge rocking air balloon and at the end of the game run the bases to home plate you gotta go.

Fun for all

By Sharon A |

It is clean, very affordable and easy to access from Ferry, bus, train or car. They are building outlets now, so the parking lot is a short walk... about 5 minutes. The ball game is entertaining, especially with the fireworks and intermissions.

Underwhelmed

By SARossini |

If you want to see the minor league Yankees play ball at home, you're in the right place. The stadium is well placed and I didn't think there was a bad seat in the house. The tickets were reasonable at $25 or so, but the concession stands are a horror show so, if you also wanted to grab some food, you're probably better off eating ahead of time. We went on opening night just this past Saturday. It was as if the park expected no one to show up. we waited till between the first and second innings to get some food and still spent 45 minutes standing in line. Each stand had four lines, but only two lines were being served with two workers serving each line??? I paid $60 for two cheeseburgers (burnt), one hot dog (too small to be the "jumbo" advertised), an order of fries, a chicken sandwich (a barely grilled 3/4 pound chunk of breast with no seasoning or anything else on a Kaiser roll that was completely inedible) and a bottle of water. There were also at least 3 instances where people who purchased their tickets on the internet, and those who purchased them from the stadium, had the same seat designation! The staff at the park was going haywire trying to accommodate these errors. All in all, the game was good and the fireworks afterward were a delight for everyone. Oh, before I forget, they're still building the new parking deck so parking at the stadium is a bigger fiasco than the concession stand. Get there early like you're going to the airport or else you've got a hike on hilly streets to look forward to.

Excellent minor league stadium

By Peter F |

The Staten Island Yankees play their home games here. It is an awesome field with the most amazing views when you look out to centerfield. You see the skyline of Manhattan!

NOT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE

By 1986-Mets |

Easy to get to by Ferry or train. Great ballpark to see a minor league baseball game (Staten Island Yankees). Family friendly environment. Whether you're local or visiting NYC, you have to catch a ball game here.

Love thegame and love the stadium view of NYC

By patrickdoyle148 |

For $ 12.00 a ticket you can't be this wonderful baseball stadium. If you are visiting NYC its worth a trip on the Staten Island Ferry and walk to an afternoon baseball game. A whole family and friends is less than $ 100.00 including some famous NYC hot dogs.

Awesome family friendly experience

By gentility |

I went to the stadium with my 3 kids ages 6 and under they Went on the field pre game and played with the mascots and got free food vouchers total blast

Stadium with the BEST view

By W128 |

We loved our visit to the SI Yankees. Go for nothing on the Staten Island Ferry - the ball park is located right next to it. Go in, get a beer, a dog and some fries and your life is sorted. Our two boys were chosen to play Dizzy bat at the bottom of the fifth and it was hilarious as they competed against each other. Not sure what happened during the game - baseball clearly not as good as the Yankees or MLB but great fun and surely the best view of any baseball stadium in the US across the harbour to Manhattan including ole Liberty herself. Highly recommended.

Excellent view of NYC while you are already in it !

By P J G |

Excellent view of NYC while you are already in it ! The designers of this stadium made it a very pleasant place to enjoy an event.

Sparkling night

By Todd C |

July 4th at the ballpark. Is there a reason you miss this? Perfect view of all the area fireworks. But honestly this is a shouldn't miss minor league park. Put it on your list. Only problem and this is an everywhere minor league problem, keep people from seat hopping somehow. When you pay for great seats and some folks move in beside you who are paying five bucks a seat, feels like you've been ripped off. Don't know how anybody stops this anywhere but whoever solves it spread the word

Great value

By Mary0529a |

It is a fun night and very reasonably priced. A great way to spend a summer night for all ages. Food is priced right and there are numerous selections

Fun, inexpensive baseball game with lots of entertainment!

By shersgirls |

OK, it's the Staten Island Yankees - minor league - but be impressed by the photos of past SI Yankees who eventually made it to the Bronx. This is a lovely stadium with great views of lower Manhattan. On a warm summer night, with beer and good food, enjoy the game and be amused by the many novel entertainment diversions!

Fell in love with baseball here

By Christine D |

The first time I went to the States was 7 years ago and I saw my first Yankee's baseball game at Yankee Stadium. We've been back to the States every year since and have been to their games at Yankee Stadium each time. I'm not a sports fan but have fallen in love with this game/this team - I think its the amazing atmosphere they create, unlike anywhere else - the music, the seat winners, the characters, the information on the giant screens, the patriotism... not sure, but I get hooked into it all, well beyond the game itself.

Affordable Baseball near NYC

By SDK_CAN |

Ride the Staten Island Ferry (for free) and walk to the stadium to watch the Jr. Yankees with the Manhattan skyline over the center field wall. Tickets ($9-18) are cheaper than the major league parks but the concession prices can still set you back.

Richmond County Ballpark is a convenient visit from the SI Ferry

By M G |

Richmond County Ballpark is a convenient visit from the SI Ferry, whenever there is an event there, including the Staten Island Yankees minor league baseball team.
Good refreshment stand choices also.

Beautiful stadium. Beautiful view.

By sean0830 |

I live on Staten island. I love the concept of having a minor league baseball team on the island. Beautiful view with cruise ships and ferry boats to look at. Only drawback no parking lots close by for the time being. Major construction nearby. On street parking within 20 minute walk or take the train.

Great Family Entertaiment

By jmkmnunz |

Can’t beat a night at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark. Great view, lots of family fun ... food choices are plentiful and priced attractively. There’s a special themed night several times a week... catch the future Bombers and spend a summer night with some friends or the family.

Great Family Experience

By Adrianna Rosa V |

This a great venue to experience with family. It overlooks the NY Harbor and its a very modern stadium. The food is great and there is a good beer selection. The game was very nice with giveaways and entertainment during breaks. The area around the stadium is very beautiful and spacious. This is a recommendable trip for a family, especially in the summer. You can use the ferry to get there which makes it more fun.

Been to a lot of minor league parks in the tri state area and this is one of best. Can't beat the view past center. Not a bad seat in the house. Reasonable concession prices. Short walk from ferry. A nice way to spend a summer evening. Firework show at end of game on most weekends. Free parking in front if you get there early, $8 lot down below.

Great time"

By Kelly S |

This ballpark is right on the water. It is perfect for friends and families. I would recommend taking public transportation, because the parking lot is a nightmare right now. The ferry is steps away and there are many buses in the area. It is affordable compared to the major league stadiums. I went on the 4th of July with my family and spent just under $100 for tickets, food, and drinks. The firework display at the end of the game is fabulous and the kids get to run the bases at the end of the firework show. It is well worth the cost of admission.

A group visit to the SI Yankees.

By James C |

One of my friends invited me to a special sky box for the Staten Island Yankee's game. The accommodations were great for a special minor league game. The suite was stocked with sliders and hot dogs as well as cold beer. The locals won and we all seemed to have a good time. The Richmond Bank Ballpark is spectacular for a minor league game. Every seat has a perfect view. of the action. And the backdrop of the NYC skyline is unbelievable. Afterwards there was a fireworks display that mad the nigh just right.

The Yankees in pinstripes

Go see the Yankees if in town. If you go during the day make sure you sit on the 1st base side as the sun can be intense on 3rd base side.
We paid extra for the CLUB access and really not worth the extra price so don't waste your money!!

Take the ferry at night and stop at the SI Yankees for a game. Food and drink are available at a nominal cost. Rest rooms are plentiful and clean and the crowd is mild and not emotional. It's a good place to take kids for entertainment and lots of fun.
Tickets are reasonable and the family will have a great time.

Such a great location, and venue

By Dawn W |

Since it opened, this ballpark has been one of my favorite places to go for a minor league ballgame.Depending on work schedules, I've either had some season seats and/or, or booked one of the suites. We attend a minimum of two games a season, eve when our workload and free time is super tight. The location is convenient, as it is located on the waterfront, adjacent to the St George Ferry Terminal. The tickets are always reasonable, the staff is wonderful and I think everyone should take advantage of this gem before the NY Wheel goes up, because I have a feeling that once EVERYONE is doing it it won't be as fun or affordable. There's not a bad seat in the house and the view of Manhattan is unmatched. See a ballgame, eat some grub and bask in the glory that is New York for a fraction of the touristy cost. There's a schedule online and fireworks after games on the weekends. There are always some kind of giveaways and these "Baby Yankee" players are young and hungry so you get some pretty good action. I think they need to run more events when there's no games. There's the yearly SI Beerfest, some Summer movie nights, and there were some concerts. This is a family friendly ballpark. CHECK IT OUT !!

Great Ballpark

By Patrick3734 |

Great minor league ballpark with spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. Overall very enjoyable, but eat before you go... food was expensive and lines extremely long.

A Beautiful Little Ballpark Just Steps From the Ferry

By Maria D |

I'm a Mets fan, but if this stadium was built when I was I kid, I would be a Yankee fan. Small, but beautiful--not a bad seat in the house. Great. view of New York Harbor and Manhattan skyline. I love fireworks night! Come out and catch a game.

Good time for baseball enthusiasts

By Danielle G |

Finally, I was able to go to a damn Yankee's game and it was very interesting. We were inside of the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar, which I thought before hand was a separated VIP box (similar to ones at Comerica Park)...I was wrong. It was more of a social scene and there were a group of little league boys who were very obnoxious and disruptive of the baseball game. If you like to socialize more than watch baseball and get that feel of being in the stands, then more power to you. I will definitely be in the stands next time around.

Base ball the way it should be

baseball the way it should be fun for all ages and without a doubt affordable to. Easy to get to by ferry, local buss and local train.

Lil Yankees

By Christopher W |

For the Money this is a very good ball park to go to. Mind you, this is not on The NY Yankees level. The park is situated right on the water next to the SI Ferry. The team is a Triple A and is made up of younger players just starting out.
Stadium is clean and very nice. It would be great if they put a A level team in it.

A Major League experience with "minor" league prices and a "grand slam"value.

By JennieDsi |

Born in Brooklyn,I'm still a Dodgers fan. Living in Staten Island, this ballpark is a great
place to see a ballgame with the very good possibility of seeing some future major
league stars (remember Derek Jeter,Robinson Cano!).The food is very good at reasonable prices.Great views of the iconic Manhattan skyline.

Great place to watch a game

By Joanne M |

We had an extended family gathering at the Stadium. It is a great place to watch a game. The view is fabulous and there was a beautiful breeze from the bay. We had purchased an all-u-can-eat groupon which was fabulous for the kids. We had a great time and will do it again

A great night out & views to die for

By Raymond A |

We've been to Yankee Stadium up in the Bronx to see the big team but this trip we decided to go across to Staten Island to watch the little league baseball. What a great night out we had. Superb atmosphere with stadium full of families enjoying themselves with plenty of food, drink & entertainment all for a top price of $18. The added bonus is that the ballpark is right next to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal so from nearly every seat you have that iconic view of Manhattan. I recommend a night game so you can see Manhattan all lit up on your way back over on the ferry. It,s on our to do list every time we go to New York in the summer.

Its the Yankees!

By Eugene P |

Im a huge Yankees fan. Like HUGE! The Staten Island Yankees are a pretty good team as well. The stadium is basic. Nice view of the city. Every seat is good. Inexpensive way to take the family to the game instead of spending $500 in the bronx. Very kid friendly. Kids running the bases and the fireworks are a great addition. Food decently priced. BUT....PARKING IS A B*TCH!
GO YANKEES!

The Ball Park

By Jan F |

The park is a good size and just steps away from the Memorial which is just steps away from the Ferry Termianal. Prices are low and there is an unobstructed view all the way around. It is very loud and there are always fireworks when they win, which is quite often

Best ball park food anywhere

First, it's a NY Yankee farm team, the tickets are cheap, the stadium is beautiful with a view of the harbor and located right next to the SI ferry, so if you're coming from Manhattan, It's a half hour ride on the ferry for free there and back,It's a beautiful way to spend a summer evening without going broke.

Nice ball park with amazing views

Worth going for a game if you’re here during minor league season. Nice views of New York. Minutes from the ferry terminal which is convenient.

A Fun-filled Evening Event for All to Enjoy

By evefrSI |

The Ballpark is just a short walk from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal on the Staten Island side. It's filled with excitement, food and so much fun if you like baseball and watching the crowd. There are single tickets and specials that include your ticket and food vouchers for typical baseball park food--hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, beer, popcorn, ice cream and more. Come to the RC Bank Ballpark and have a terrific evening. Bring your friends and family. It's a place to remember to go to year after year. Special seating is available for wheelchairs and other handicap vehicles and it's not bad either. Plenty of restrooms and concession stands to get food and drinks; snacks and ice cream. We had a fabulous time!!!! Get seating under the canopy as the sun can get very hot.

A fun day

By hannahj17 |

We had a really fun day here as a family watching the yankees play. The park itself is lovely and the facilities clean. The food and beverages are pricey with a limited selection like all sporting venues. Obviously entertainment levels depend on how the yakyees are playing

Great Place to Catch the Future Stars of MLB

By Craig S |

Affordable, family friendly and fun, Richmond County Ballpark is a great place to see a ballgame. There isn't a bad seat in the house and any baseball fan will enjoy seeing the future of baseball on display. Even if not a Yankees fan, this is worth a visit and just a short walk from the ferry.

Great Little Stadium

By Jessica L |

We are from Detroit and we had a great experience at this ballpark. We are huge baseball fans and this was a very memorable experience. The park is gorgeous, there isn't a bad seat in the house, the view of lower Manhattan beyond the outfield is breathtaking, and the food was delicious and adequately priced. The stadium personnel were all very friendly and seemed enthusiastic about their job. Our usher(section 110) was very friendly and wiped our seats off for us. If you're looking for something to do in NY away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, this is what you're looking for! The park is located right next to the Staten Island Ferry so it was easy for a tourist to get to and the ferry was FREE!!!

Beautiful ball park. It has the Yankee A team playing there.

By Gary P |

You get off the ferry and walk right there a hundred yards or so. Its only a few years old so it looks brand new. Its not to big so you have great seat no matter where you sit. The wheel is coming next year and will also be within walking distance. Police station right across the street. Great spot to go with the family. They have a lot of things between innings for the kids. The view of the city is also amazing.

Baseball at its best

By Rena S |

With gorgeous views of the Manhattan skyline, this stadium sits on the shore of New York Harbor. It is well maintained, and games are very affordable. There are regular and kosher concession stands, and the atmosphere is a warm and inviting one. The team mascot roams around between innings, and you can even rent a suite and bring in catered food without breaking the bank. Its a good time for young and old alike.

Nice ballpark, beats a ride to the Bronx

By NUTN2000 |

Nice place to see a game. Not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of parking and an easy commute.
It beats traveling to the Bronx and spending an arm/leg...
The Food bites. In todays era you need some good food, not the standard burger , dogs & sausage. At least they have some decent beer taps.
Get with it....

Summer Fun

Great place to watch baseball. Love the Yankees and going to a major league game, but when living in Staten Island It is a much easier, fun way to enjoy minor league baseball.

Great Value, Great Place, Great Time...

By Elaine G |

These days going to the ballgame with your family and eating Hot Dogs, Popcorn and a drink can cost you an arm and a leg, not to mention how far you'd probably have to travel to get there. Well I am happy so say that we have found an answer..... Staten Island Yankee stadium is awesome, right next to the ferry and all transportation.... and its not ridiculously expensive...... Cant wait for the next game....

Great night out for friends and families at a very reasonable price. Staten Island Yankees home field and the view of the NY skyline is beautiful.

We try and go a few times during the Season!

By Ilovetheuk2013 |

Great day out! Especially with the Family! Get a Group to go as well! Food is good and they serve ice cold Beer! Parking is extra! But worth the trip and the children can run the bases after the game!

Amazing Minor league ball park

By AuroraAurora_Ontario |

This Ball park has major league appeal.First time at Staten Island park and it was amazing as we went with a group of 14 year old boys, who played in a baseball tournament in New York.

Gotta love those Baby Bombers

By SIMOM2boyz |

We always have a great time going to see the Staten Island Yankees play. The stadium is beautiful - can't beat the city view especially at night. They keep the stadium very clean and safe. There are numerous activities for the younger kids who can't sit still through a whole game. The on field antics are cute and funny. The SI Yankees always have great young talent. It is fun to watch the next Derek Jeter or ARod make a great play. The food is not so hot. Plenty of room for improvement there. All in all a great family night out especially when there are fireworks after the game. You've got the best seats to enjoy them with NYC skyline in the background. Highly recommend to everyone!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

By Zenaida G |

This was a first time visit for two of my grand-daughters. They can't wait to go back. My husband and son enjoyed the game while my grands enjoyed the give-always. We all received baseball caps, choice of two different baseball jerseys, All-you-can-eat hot dogs, burgers, soda, water and chips. In addition, they received some soft balls and a walk around the bases after the game. That night there was also a fireworks display. Needless to say we were all happy and all for $15 per person! You can't beat that for a family night out but if you can please tell me where!

Always a fun time!

By crzyldy1 |

So easy to get to. Plenty of promotion nights and entertaining ballgames. Tons of food choices in the park and surrounding area. We always enjoy our visits.

What a beautiful ballpark!

By ireland2010Colorado |

Even if you don't like baseball, you'll love sitting in this stadium and looking out over the harbor and the Manhattan skyline over the outfield walls. This is a Single A-Short Season team with a good local following. All the fun of a minor league game--trivia questions, kids boxing with the mascot, jumbo tron race, etc. between innings. Lots of fun and sitting in the shade with a nice breeze and watching the shipping traffic was very peaceful. After the game be sure to walk around to the water side of the ballpark to see the Staten Island 9/11 memorial. Very beautiful tribute.

Fantastic Ballpark

By Lovechild24 |

Great stadium even if your not a SI Yankees Fan. Not a bad seat in the house. Great views of the water.

Location! Location! Location!! (and it's cheap)

By Jonathan L |

The stadium is situated right next door to the SI ferry terminal and sits on the beautiful NY Harbor. The AAA Yankees minor league team has its home here and it's a great opportunity to see up-and-comers early on! Prices are extremely reasonable and the place is very family-friendly!
Great eats are available from local purveyors such as Pier 76 pizza and Flagship Brewery beer!!
If you get bored with the game there's always something going on in the harbor!!

Home Town Baseball with Great Views of NYC Skyline

By maman823 |

Attending a game at this unique and accessible stadium from all the boroughs is a treat. Here you see the up and coming stars of tomorrow and appreciate just how great the professional players are. They make playing baseball look easy. But when times get tough watching the Baby Bombers, you can look out over the fences and see the beauty that is New York. There are many levels of tickets, including suites that will satisfy every budget. A great venue for all.

Get close up with players

By Jmsw28 |

I saw the Staten Island Yankees here several times last year. Great park - small, so you can see from any seat, food is good, in between innings they have kids play games ( like run the bases). Players were happy to give autographs. Good view of Manhattan. One of the evenings, I saw their fireworks with Manhattan in the background. Really nice.
Near the ferry, so it is good for tourists.
I just wish they would have some day games on Saturday.

Baseball Classic

By SI M |

I've had season tickets for years and have introduced many of my friends to the joys of watching tomorrow's baseball greats in the company of a wide cross section of New Yorkers dedicated to having a great day or evening outdoors. The view over NY harbor is probably the best baseball stadium view ever. It's an easy walk from the SI Ferry. A family can watch & eat and not bankrupt itself - prices are reasonable - not like the big league stadiums in NYC. Kids are invited to run the bases after the games. There are often fireworks after the games. I can't wait for the season to begin: June 13, 2014.

who cares about the game

By DOUGANDPOLLY |

the staten island yankees occupy richmond county ballpark, not as if anybody cares... the night we attended we counted perhaps 700 living souls, but the team announced attendance at 2,200, so obviously 1,500 were disguised as empty seats... the price, $15, is outrageous for this level ball and perhaps accounts for the civic disinterest, come by when wagner college is playing and get the same spectacular view for one-third the price... concessions quite bland except for the beach haus pilsner and the knish and hot dog at the kosher stand... level of play, very sloppy... ah, but the view, of new york's harbor and skyline, the frequently passing staten island ferries (a fairish walk from right field) and, on occasion, container ships that seem to have dropped from outer space... the crossing on the staten island ferry is free... the cost of this rather even things out... staff fairly friendly and accommodating although the folks at the admissions gate had a stern and bossy attitude, first holding us out, then demanding that we enter quickly... that's new york, I guess...

A great experience for all ages

By hungry_harborough |

We visited from the UK with our 10 & 8 year olds because there were no major league games on. The kids aren’t at all interested in baseball, or at least they weren’t until now! The stadium is a brilliant little venue (with great views of Manhattan) and the standard of the baseball is good. We are hot dogs, drank beer (well I did anyway), and sang along with all the entertainment between innings. Yankees won 3-2 and the kids are now adamant that this was the highlight of their trip to NY.

Staten Island Yankee Game

By Jod3515 |

Even if you are not a baseball fan, it is a fun night out. Able to take in a ballgame without the hassle of going to the Bronx or Queens.
Great view of the City.
Tickets prices are reasonable.
Family friendly.
Parking has improved with new parking structure (let's see how it is after construction of the Wheel).
Short walk from the ferry for an easy commute from Manhattan (advice: no need to explore beyond the immediate neighborhood of the ballpark).

Roberts Review

It's low A Ball Baseball .The ball Park in not in the best of Staten Island neighborhood . The Parking is Terrible. Best way to the park is by staten island ferry or staten island transit. The view from the seats over looking lower Manhattan is great.
The food is nothing great and over priced for this Level of baseball

Baseball during holliday

During our stay in NY we visit the game of the New York Yankees. Nice stadium with a perfect view on the field. Just an easy game for the NYY. Nice beverages and food. Prices are relatively fair. Nice to be there

Ballpark review

By Jplescia25789 |

Nice well-kept ball park with a beautiful view of the city . There also is a touching 911 Memorial right next to park and a couple if good restaurants within walking distance. If you get tickets ton a game they do a firework show after every Saturday night game that is very impressive !

Let's go to the ball game

By OrdinaryJoe&Co |

We went to an evening game against Oakland Athletic, sat in the bleachers, drank beer and ate hotdogs. It is really fun and we felt like honorary New Yorkers.
We didn't understand much about the game but that was not a problem, we were surrounded by experts only too keen to help you out.
Couple of tips:
1. Never keep the ball if the opposition hit a home run
2. No matter how old you are take photo id or you will not get beer, they id everyone as park policy
3. The bleachers are a great place to sit, you will get wet if it rains and the seats are not the best, but it is where the hard core home fans sit
4. Book it in advance, we did it from the UK online no problems.

The event lasted about 3 and a half hours, always something happening, no need to be shy, go and have a great time.

A fun Day!

By Lisa B |

We had the opportunity to attend a corporate backed event here. I was surprised at how entertaining they make these games. I do not like baseball and was prepared to be bored but was not. Also note that this organization helps out charities which I find refreshing.

Nice Baseball

By kjbf6969 |

This is a good place to go for a family or job outing. You can get the all you can eat tickets so you can eat watch the game and enjoy the view. This is so much cheaper than going to Yankee Stadium to see the Yankees. They have activities for children. Playing for the Staten Island Yankees is sometimes the stepping stone for the Major Leagues.

What a great night out!

By LDN_2009 |

We bought tickets to a Staten Island Yankees game because the New York Yankees were not at home during our trip. I’m so pleased we did.

$19 gets you the best seats in the house, right behind home plate, and the intimacy and atmosphere at the Ballpark at St. George is fantastic.

Add well-priced concessions, a fun programme of between innings entertainment, a view of the Manhattan skyline from your seat and, perhaps above all, a decent level of baseball, and you’ve got all the ingredients of a really fun and inexpensive night out.

We almost went back the next night, that's how much we enjoyed it.

We definitely will go back next trip.

Fun and cheap

By Anne R |

Great place to go for a cheap night with friends or for families. Small stadium means great views, cheap tickets and great views of Manhattan and the harbor.

baseball

By chefmike607 |

Start off with excellent view of the Manhattan skyline. If you are a baseball fan this place is where the major leagues start. Owned by the NY Yankees, players form to be in the "Big Show". Plenty of concession stands and a lot to do, fun for all.

Awful

By Bill V |

Arranged a group outing and was supposed to be greeted (never happened). Our group's name was supposed to be displayed on the scoreboard (never happened) and we were supposed to receive a SI Yankees hat (never happened) and our sales rep didn't care. Of course, the food was horrible but that is not news. We are going to lose this beautiful stadium.

Great Ballpark

By JOHN M |

You cannot go wrong here, low ticket prices, great views, entertainment for bored children. I love this ballpark.

Family Friendly Pro Baseball

By AureliaFamily |

This is a great place for family friendly pro baseball in a beautiful ballpark.

On weekend evenings they have fireworks after the game. It's absolutely gorgeous seeing them over the harbor with a view of the Manhattan skyline in the background.

The games are great, too.

I've gone with both family and friends and always had a great time.

Tickets are affordable.

I highly recommend it.

Take me out to the ballgame...

This is a great place to watch a game. All the seats have a great view of the field. As with any ballpark food stuff is pricey.

Nice Park Too Bad It Is Turf

By coachee1313 |

A great ballpark with amazing views and you can find a spot to park on the street. The area is spotless and clean which amazes me by a public facility. Sparse crowds since an independent pro baseball team is there now. Still cool.

Nice game

By Lourens |

Great place to visit as Dutchies. Real American game. Nice atmosphere, very friendly. Not at all like European football public. Very nice, also with a one year old who slept for at least one hour through the match. Easy accessible from Manhattan with metro.

Have fun. Hope this was helpful to you.

if you like baseball go see a game

By tara p |

The staten island ball park is a fun place to go with the family. After every inning they get the fans involved in the game by taking people in the stands to participate in games. Some mights there is even fireworks. It over looks the water so the scenery is woderful to see. It is always a fun night there.

SI Yankee

By KRed66 |

A fun, affordable night out for a family. Fire works at the end of every game end the night with a WOW.

The site is amazing, But................

By NewYorkerluvsKeyWest |

This ballpark sits on perhaps the most valuable real estate on Staten Island. The view is to die for, the facilities sufficient, the food prices astronomical, as are those at most sports venues, but the crowds continue to remain small.
It's understandable that Mayor Giuliani, a devout Yankees fan, pushed through this stadium during the late 1990s, but why here? Too much stadium and not enough attendance means not much tax revenue, while NYers paid for the place.
So, either get the attendance up to that at other venues, or call it a day. Worth the trip, but not many people come. Try it, you'll love the place but hate the empty bleachers.

Terrific Park

By Cassysj |

While I'm a Mets fan this stadium is more convenient for me to get to and the prices are better than it's Coney Island minor league counterpart. I love the small stadium and it's walking distance from the ferry.

Staten Island Yankees

By Joe |

Great night out. Each Saturday home game, the SI Uranus became the SI Pizza Rats (based on the viral video) ...Lots of fun. (Shout out to the worker who tossed me a tee shirt!!)
We all bought hats. Food was reasonable.
It's beautiful there, seeing the NY City skyline across the water. Everything is laid back there.

Great and fun family outing

By malev |

Great fun for the family, great relaxed atmosphere. If you purchase the season ticket you can have all you can eat hot dogs and hamburgers. Best part is the Manhattan view.
Convenient public transportation and parking.

An Evening with The Baby Bombers

By jspoet |

This ballpark is currently known as Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George. The locals refer to it as Staten Island Yankees Park after the minor professional baseball league team that plays there.

Although the team will have a new nickname starting with the 2017 season, we anticipate the rest of this ballpark experience, and the view of New York City beyond the right field scoreboard, will be there during our next visit.

Penn League

By Mark K |

Staten Island Yankees Stadium is home to the Staten Island Yankees, a single A affiliate of the NY Yankees. You can enjoy a baseball game and a great view of the NYC skyline from you seats for a very reasonable price. However, there is a lot construction ongoing in the area and the parking can be a real pain.

Fun for Kids and Adults

By Kristen F |

A great experience to go with your friends or family. Almost every seat is a good seat, and they always have new and interesting activities to keep patron interest high. A fun night on a dime for general tickets. Food and drinks are regular stadium-level prices, which is why I give it a 4/5.

Baseball Game

By James C |

It was a really nice ball park great location to mass transit and a beautiful view of downtown manhattan and the harbor. Ships pass by during the game and the fan interaction was great. A little expensive for a minor league stadium.

Awesome Views - Baseball - Great Family Fun!

By wordygurl |

The stadium home of the Staten Island Yankees is right on the waterfront overlooking all of the harbor. It's a great place to take in a ball game even if you don't like baseball! The entertainment is goofy and fun. The after-game fireworks on weekends can't be beat. And, yes: Baseball aficionados LOVE this place...primarily for the baseball game itself - because who wouldn't want to take in a game full of emerging sports talent taking in the views of NY?
